cuz these guys in an amazing mood how's everyone doing uh this is the Joe Button
- 0:12
podcast or the Joe Button show whatever the [ __ ] it is I'm just tired of seeing people say yo that your Buton [ __ ] is
- 0:17
crazy so formerly known as Al Na's podcast later episode 106 yes I think I
- 0:22
don't know wait what episode is it it doesn't matter 10 it's don't worry about it it's 106 whatever man whatever you
- 0:29
you know if you're new here welcome uh acoss from me is Rory Lanes to uh his
- 0:34
left is Maul uh to my left is Quest our videographer for the day and through the
- 0:40
window is Pat salutations gentlemen how is everyone doing what's up fam Maul mul comes in
- 0:48
Maul comes in every week ladies and gentlemen with a different excuse as to why he's late that's not true so today
- 0:55
he and it's always the wildest story that you ever heard so this week he comes in late saying yo man stoping
- 1:02
Frisk is is real it's real out there well it I mean it is we're all black
- 1:07
people are well aware of that as was M before he before he dealt with it like you're not surprised no no no I'm not
- 1:13
surprised but you know what it is when you get older there just certain [ __ ] you feel like like really like come on man Mo you be Uptown in the Bronx in the
- 1:22
hottest of areas in this Nike uh dope boy scammer track jumpsuit that is a new
- 1:29
scammer uniform yeah you got some fancy Yankee hat on with like a very delicate icy something you got a lot happening
- 1:36
you look like a a dope boy you do I would pull you over too if I was a cop I would stop and frisc you okay that's
- 1:41
fair I would call it what you want sorry sorry you look like exactly the guy on
- 1:49
Gun Hill Road that fits the description oh my God I look like every guy on gunhill so uh so with that said we've
- 1:56
had a very busy week certainly this is this is where I want to start
- 2:02
let me just let me let's just get right to the shenanigans right let me tell the listeners about my music
- 2:08
weekend Ross came out when Thursday Friday something like that Friday oh man
- 2:15
oh man man oh man was I in heaven I now now hold up let me give the listeners
- 2:20
some backstory here because I'm going to talk a lot this podcast um Maul and Ice
- 2:27
have argued Jeezy versus Ross in our group chat for the past
- 2:34
year for for people like me who don't really follow the both of them so so
- 2:40
exclusively it's annoying right it's annoying because the argument is they
- 2:46
both are not at their Peak that's what it is and in moo combat combats that
- 2:52
with Ross is making better music right so for a year I've had to deal with that
- 2:58
and I haven't purchased Ross's what's Ross's last album I think it was Black Market was the name of it I didn't buy
- 3:04
it it wasn't bad it was actually a pretty good album radar Ross has projects to go into the radar but anyway
- 3:10
I bought this Ross album and man oh man oh man oh man oh man music Heaven
- 3:17
amazing album right so I have that album and I don't really give a [ __ ] about
- 3:23
anything else because I have this Ross album really that's how in tune I am
- 3:28
with the job he did [ __ ] did whoever the [ __ ]
- 3:33
was involved in that project Sav I was just like like proud dad I was acting
- 3:39
like I anr that [ __ ] that's how fire the raw [ __ ] was right it was hard to get past the intro cuz the intro was so fire
- 3:46
then it was hard to get past track two two yeah the [ __ ] that [ __ ] did yeah and then it was it's just hard right so but
- 3:52
that's not the funny part so I'm in heaven with the Ross sh Saturday morning comes it's a
- 3:58
beautiful it's a beautiful foggy day it's rainy it's snowy in Jersey it's [ __ ] up over here Rory calls me early
- 4:04
in the morning cuz like the [ __ ] gay to gay dudes we are Rory has to listen
- 4:10
to every Drake release with me for the past what four releases now so I forgot
- 4:16
that Drake was dropping Saturday mhm you know the push backs I know you don't but
- 4:21
I mean just with the push backs and just I wasn't following exclusively mhm I
- 4:26
wasn't really following the the leaks really I wasn't really yeah whatever mhm
- 4:32
so Rory calls me like a kid on Christmas Eve at [ __ ] 7:00 in the morning on
- 4:37
Saturday well that's my version yeah no we'll go with your version yeah I did I did start the conversation with happy Mo
- 4:43
life day though I will admit that yeah you said happy more life day so that reminded me so I said hey so wait that
- 4:49
is that's today right Roy says yes I say all right great so Rory's going to come
- 4:54
over later we're going to [ __ ] check it out right then I talked to maul m and I tell Maul and I want was in London
- 5:01
with Drake for the release and I want to have this documented when I call Maul and and we and more life comes up I say
- 5:09
to mall I am not discussing this project MH at
- 5:15
all zero M on this podcast and you said what you just laughed I laughed and I
- 5:22
asked you if complex had the exclusive uh complex had exclusive like I thought
- 5:28
I thought complex put the G on you like yo you can't go about it on your podcast and talk about it you got to wait come here first cuz I knew you was going to
- 5:35
talk about the project I mean you can't not talk about a drake project good or bad you cannot not talk about a drake
- 5:42
project well and that's where I'm going in the event that the project was
- 5:47
a bad project mhm I I didn't I was not going to be the one to say it to say
- 5:54
that okay or dissect it mhm or address it like I would have just left it alone
- 6:02
and so when I said that to you it I was totally I was totally of the belief that
- 6:08
he would be dropping some [ __ ] okay I don't but you you you
- 6:14
know what's funny I don't know I don't know how music is a matter of opinion right and some people are going to love
- 6:21
certain projects and certain records and some people going to hate him you're not going to please everybody on every project but I don't I don't understand
- 6:28
how people still feel like it's capable for Drake to drop a completely whack project I think he's too musically
- 6:36
inclined and he's too strategic and he's too thought out to for it to be whack
- 6:41
you may not like it it may not be the Drake that you wanted but to say a a complete Drake project is whack crazy
- 6:49
let's not get married to that word not to the caliber of what we know he's capable of that's I only talk Drake I
- 6:57
only compare people to them El right so when I talk Drake I'm comparing Drake to
- 7:03
the Drake right that I love now even though in in in contrary to what my diss
- 7:09
tracks may say and what this podcast may have said and and what whatever may have happened in the past year these two
- 7:17
gentlemen do know that I love and support Drake actually in in the room just now while we had that [ __ ] on and I
- 7:23
was dancing and sin was [ __ ] shimmying in the bed rolling she was like yeah if Dre could see this right
- 7:29
now like this [ __ ] just thinks that I don't know what him and Nicki think but my point being I was going to stick to
- 7:35
that mall mhm I was not going to address that [ __ ] at all so then Rory comes over
- 7:42
we're listening on the Apple music [ __ ] track one plays
- 7:47
okay track two plays okay mhm track three plays
- 7:55
okay I think track four is when Rory looked to me and and said
- 8:02
uh I think this was when the skep the skepta track was on or just went off and Rory said I'm starting to get
- 8:15
skeptical now Rory can speak to my demeanor at this point I'm still quiet I am not saying a word right MH somewhere
- 8:23
along the line it's like that [ __ ] knew that [ __ ] had had enough of the plan I
- 8:29
think right around passion fruit mhhm well what be clear once I edit all the London [ __ ] off mhm this is great music
- 8:38
this is a great project this is what views I feel like should have been uh to me I think cuz there's a mood for everything and everything Drake has done
- 8:45
on this album to Echo what you just said I think it's literally what he was trying to do with views except this one
- 8:51
doesn't feel empty views felt empty this one felt like he gave a [ __ ] well I want
- 8:57
I want us to get into that now no dis respect to skepta or gigs but when I when I hear when I want
- 9:05
to hear that music and that style and that brand of M I just don't want to hear it with the Drake uh playlist and I
- 9:11
think I Echo a lot of American sentiments when we say that or a lot of US citizens I I don't know how many of
- 9:17
us were ready for that but when you edit around that is a lot of fire here so now
- 9:25
Mo I listen to what is the name of it lose
- 9:32
you and I thought about something that you said a long time ago on this podcast
- 9:37
when we were in the midst of all the Drake beef [ __ ] you said Drake's issue with you is and if
- 9:44
for those of you that don't know Maul is a ovio mo mole planted here in our
- 9:51
podcast for real Maul is [ __ ] you are a mold I'm not you're the one that let
- 9:56
me know that Drake was dissing me on a record that wasn't coming out for another 3 months two months yeah but I
- 10:02
mean everybody no everybody no I did not but we don't need to get into that it's spilled spilled milk water under the
- 10:09
bridge uh but uh damn what was I saying just now uh lose you oh lose you so I
- 10:15
listen I listen to I know because you then played the album for the next 35 hours uh but my question to you Maul
- 10:22
Maul said Drake was probably mad or Drake felt the way because I should have
- 10:27
said that to him however I felt right about that views album I should have
- 10:32
related to him you said that to me I thought that was the stupidest [ __ ] in the universe because you just don't move
- 10:40
like that you don't you don't you're not hitting somebody to give your critique on everything that they do even if you
- 10:47
have a relationship with them that's how I feel right but when I listen to lose you he said that same thing mhm he said
- 10:53
that and then I felt bad and then I felt like I owe Drake an apology so now I want to ask you as the oovo mo
- 11:00
do I owe Drake an apology honestly honestly as my friend here now those of you that don't know Maul back when he
- 11:07
like had uh great thinking he was like my uh cons conscious conscience or
- 11:15
whatever the [ __ ] you call it he was that for me so he he would tell me when I was whing or not so I'm asking you was
- 11:20
I whing tell me tell me does he have a leg to stand on with that argument and this is just for my own personal thing and then we'll get into views I mean not
- 11:26
views uh uh absolutely more life are you [ __ ] yeah let me answer your question
- 11:33
yes I feel like you owe him an apology but I'll tell you why because y'all had
- 11:39
a relationship prior to this I don't like that y'all had personal conversations y' y y'all spoke about
- 11:47
music before so you got to understand you got years of knowing Drake I mean
- 11:53
y'all not the closest of friends and buddy buddy but y'all known each other for years you was around for you know
- 11:59
before Drake took off and became the mega star that he is he was very clear in how you had an influence on him when
- 12:06
he first began to write raps we got all of that Mo okay so I'm saying there's history there so he looks at you as
- 12:13
someone who he feels like come on Joe we've had conversations we've had personal conversations before I should
- 12:19
have called Drake not saying you could not saying you should have called him you should I should have text Dake to
- 12:25
say yo this is I should have dm' D not even that Joe what you could have did what you could have done like any other
- 12:32
time just wait until you ran into him you didn't have to go to a public platform and say that you could have
- 12:38
waited till you ran him to him in the club like y'all do have done plenty of times and just say yo fam you know was
- 12:44
really feel that you know I had too much invested to do that but I I don't want I
- 12:49
don't want to get married podcast I mean we were that's what we talked about on podcast I understand I understand that
- 12:55
but and I I'm just tring to that but I'm just trying to see through his eyes don't matter what we think and it ain't
- 13:00
malicious and that's the that's the part that gets lost when you listen to I listen to lose you and I have to ask myself that question I have to no well
- 13:08
Jealous Ones Still do Envy so I don't care I mean anybody with ears knew he was going to say something but all right
- 13:14
so that leads me to my next question for you gentlemen and I I've asked this
- 13:21
before why is he dissing Tory lames this way there's a lot shots on there I feel
- 13:28
like there's a lot of Tory shots on this whole album man I'm not listen I'm not
- 13:34
getting into that who's throwing shot [ __ ] with y'all no more cuz I was completely wrong on the Remy Nicki thing so I'm going stay clear that but I do
- 13:40
know that him and Tor we know that he is talking to Tori when he names tor's
- 13:45
album title I told you when he starts talking about phone conversations only
- 13:51
Tori had 90 phone skits saying the dumbest [ __ ] in the world I said on this podcast I said he must have never dealt
- 13:57
with the feds yeah to have those conversations and sure enough Here Comes Drake with the same [ __ ] realization
- 14:03
on track one see that's telling to me not that I Del the third bar on track yeah you getting in the Tory bar three
- 14:11
my [ __ ] well that thing is a little is is is is personal clearly a lot of it's a lot of
- 14:18
under underlying things that you know not known that they have an issue about so that that's that's a personal very
- 14:25
personal thing all right so listen so listen to this and I want to get into all of these beefs except for mine
- 14:33
because that's not a beef um oh are we moving on from more no no
- 14:38
no no we're stay right here but now so but you can't tell me that and then when he he turns around and tells the week
- 14:45
and the city is bigger when everyone isn't beefing so why not apply that with Tori Tori now has gained some momentum
- 14:52
Tori is producing quality content if y'all are not going to be friends you you two [ __ ] and y'all are not going
- 14:59
to squash it let's hold up for a minute man these [ __ ] got these [ __ ] [ __ ]
- 15:04
up and more tune for your head top so watch let's get to the [ __ ] shits
- 15:10
let's get to the shits let's get to it no I can't be the only one thinking
- 15:16
this thinking what you want Tori and Drake cannot continue to fire at each other behind their [ __ ] celebrity
- 15:25
walls and their entourages they both they both produce quality music we want to see it it would be great I don't
- 15:32
think people are too pressed to see Drake and Tori get together and be friends I really I really don't think so
- 15:38
say I think anyone's any interest like yo I need a Tori and Drake collab ASAP weekend maybe that's different everyone
- 15:44
was happy when weekend and Drake got back together because we know they make great music together of course Rory that's that's not what I'm saying I'm
- 15:49
I'm I don't think they're pressed to get together which leaves the other alternative of let's get to the shits I
- 15:55
don't think they're pressed to do that and I don't think Drake would actually really get into a full out yeah Dr ma he
- 16:01
dissed the man throughout the entire album lie lie go ahead and Li I'm not
- 16:07
I'm not saying anything man I'm not dissecting bars no more I was wrong I was wrong but I do know that they have a
- 16:13
problem with each other I do know that but I don't think that but to this extent because it's a personal thing
- 16:18
it's two Toronto Toronto guys man so it's a it's a personal thing it's a very personal thing okay so let me go to my
- 16:24
next question which I've asked before in this podcast why is he still dissing
- 16:32
Meek well in my opinion I think that he has his foot on Meek's neck because when
- 16:39
people really when you step back and look at it Meek really tried to finish Drake with that you don't write your own
- 16:45
rap [ __ ] that could have really really went a whole another way and really damaged Drake had he not been
- 16:52
Drake I've said on this podcast before when I that was Meek's intent his intent
- 16:57
was was tired the meek bars and I think y'all didn't agree with me I just think it it came to the point that Drake was
- 17:03
so surprised how easily he won that battle that he's I want us I want us to stop I want us to stop saying that what
- 17:11
we have to stop saying that yes he easily out barred him out tracked him
- 17:20
hey music him he won in every visible
- 17:27
area you could possibly win in right M for now for now for now I'll say forever
- 17:34
I have to see how that plays out more that's not necessarily true I've been saying for a while I think Meek did a
- 17:41
lot more damage than we'll ever know and see and when I hear albums like this and
- 17:47
I hear the voicemails from his mother I hear I listen to the way he started this
- 17:52
album like it's a few things that's telling on here when they get to talking MH where are those those emotions coming
- 17:59
from like when his mom is speaking about him being disillusioned that anxiety
- 18:05
like where is that stuff coming from see that's the guy that made views and that
- 18:10
leads to my next point the guy that made views I caught all the slack in the
- 18:15
world from my loving critique of that album Drake may not have liked it but
- 18:21
Drake is a sensitive [ __ ] so cool I don't deal well with sensitive people ever y'all know that right nobody that
- 18:29
heard views and heard this album can tell me that the same man is
- 18:34
responsible the man that he was in the same state in the same place I'm saying when I say that afterwards in the
- 18:40
interview and on the album that's my point Rory if if Drake is echoing these things on interviews Mall
- 18:47
M and throughout the album that yeah that album was just an album he wasn't
- 18:52
really him he wasn't into it he didn't then why do I get all the [ __ ] slack if I was right people don't like
- 19:00
you but I'm saying even from him oh like when he says when he says because he may
- 19:07
have a point maybe maybe m is right and I shouldn't have gone public because of
- 19:12
our what simulant of a relationship we had all right cool right let me just make my point because my memory is bad
- 19:20
right this [ __ ] guy damn it hold on let me get it back what was we just talking about why was he so sensitive
- 19:26
about it now that he's echoing it yeah so if he feels that way and even on the
- 19:32
[ __ ] cuz even if he's not talking to me I feel like on that Lose You song uh when he's talking about him taking
- 19:38
ownership of [ __ ] like him needing closure with [ __ ] that speaks to a man
- 19:43
with [ __ ] going on if he agrees that it was [ __ ] going on and I was saying it's [ __ ] going on and I'm concerned cuz this
- 19:50
amazing man this music is not really it I get that the Casual sheep listener would think that I'm hating and would
- 19:57
think that I'm using this the same thing you said about Remy that's why I get so T I personally get taken aback when I
- 20:03
hear people say that because I wasn't doing that like I wasn't just trying to
- 20:08
do some [ __ ] for some attention or some [ __ ] but that's off in the tangent my main point is if he agrees and the fans
- 20:15
agree can we cuz we can agree that views you know in in hindsight in retrospect
- 20:20
he was in a different place even if you enjoyed the music M it's not really the same guy yes no speak to it I because
- 20:28
views like like I said before I think that this album is what views was supposed to be it's just not empty and
- 20:34
to your point there I think it's human nature have you ever told someone about themselves and they get even more defensive because they know it's true
- 20:41
yes if he's in that state of mind and you're saying something that he knows he's going to get defensive it's human
- 20:48
nature people do that when you tell them about themselves and deep down they know it's true they're going to be even more Angry no I I think I think again I think
- 20:55
Drake's whole him not liking what Joe said it's not about what Joe said it's
- 21:00
it's how he said it and where he said it screaming yeah it was it was how he said it and where he said it yeah it's not
- 21:06
what he said it's not what you said at least I don't I don't I don't I I don't think it's what you said because you
- 21:11
didn't you weren't hating you weren't saying Drake is whack you wasn't saying none of that like you were professing
- 21:17
that yo this is a guy that I really hold to a high regard and he kind of like disappointed me on this one there's
- 21:23
nothing wrong with saying that but it's where you say that you understand what I'm saying like it can be taken a certain way like why is this guy on his
- 21:30
platform just bashing me like you know what I'm saying like if you have that conversation face to face I feel like it
- 21:35
comes across different because now it feels like yo listen fam I'mma pull you to the side and T you all right man
- 21:42
what's going on with you cuz you didn't really sound like that the Drake that I love man what's up with you it's a different it comes across differently
- 21:49
now when you on your podcast yelling you sweating you slapping [ __ ] and all that there's it seems like there's a lot of
- 21:54
anger there like this guy is angry at me was a lot of anger there but but can be taken wrong it's it's it was anger
- 22:00
because this was an artist that you hold to such a high regard and you feel like he disappointed you that message got
- 22:06
lost because of where you projected the message at if you project that message in a room with Drake having a
- 22:13
conversation I think he takes it differently like damn I ain't no Joe really cared about me like that like he
- 22:19
really asks what's going on with me Drake probably doesn't get asked that a lot by many people like yo you going you
- 22:26
all right man everything good like cuz I kind of sense something is is not he probably doesn't get asked that question
- 22:31
much but when you go on a your platform it just seems like you're doing something for for your attention it
- 22:36
seems like you're doing something for your own per personal reasons you understand other than you really genuinely care Drake to get my podcast
- 22:44
numbers off I mean that's how it can come across receive it that way that's what I'm saying yeah if you're stupid you can but I don't want to make this
- 22:50
about me right I want to get back to the celebration of music because my main
- 22:55
point was that between raw and Drake mhm I'm thoroughly pleased I'm
- 23:04
thoroughly pleased with with everything Round of Applause Round of Applause I'm thoroughly pleased I'm happy I'm happy
- 23:13
more subs I love it right [ __ ] rather you than me always rather some [ __ ]
- 23:20
right I'll be honest with you I uh I agree with the Serena sub cuz I was
- 23:26
tight when Serena popped up married and I don't even know her I was really upset so I'm with Drake on the Serena Subs on
- 23:33
there but I don't like the hotel shaming that he did he's dissed the Intercontinental uh he's dissed the
- 23:40
Sheridan lot of Hotel shaming from Drake in the past that was my next question did he diss the Sheridan or say he
- 23:46
doesn't stay at the Sheridan no more no yo M no I don't I don't remember the exact he did he he he said y'all y'all
- 23:54
[ __ ] really think y'all teaming up is scaring us y' y'all y'all [ __ ] is
- 23:59
arrogant y'all stay at the Sheridan all that is
- 24:05
embarrassing tell you oh oh I'm all for going there again yeah he ain't even
- 24:11
dying I B that 10 he barring them [ __ ] up man sometimes you just got to let
- 24:17
[ __ ] know where you at in life man I'm glad I barred his he don't stay at the shid no more I just stayed at the Sheridan Houston for 5 days and it was
- 24:24
lovely Drake got to stop Hotel shaming man the Sheridan is great I mean if you're not Drake yeah man that
- 24:33
[ __ ] made so far going in the sharan I think yeah how far how far going is is
- 24:38
he from that yeah so don't don't shame it when fire came out of there what else did we come away with from this more
- 24:44
life album uh some Barefoot appropriation I I felt I felt a little offended I'm pretty sure you threw your
- 24:50
shoes on the light pole you don't need you oh no I I cleaned I cleaned the whole room we was listening uh to the
- 24:55
album in about 5 minutes when I tell y'all that after that uh OVO OVO uh set
- 25:03
went off that Rory Asen Rory then played that Drake album again if we if it
- 25:10
started at six God forbid I listened to an album twice right it's twice is what he calls that that aired at 6 they
- 25:18
pushed the time back to 6:30 we listened to more life until 3:00 a.m. well Rory
- 25:24
did that's a lie but as Sin as was a long time we were like yo this is a lot
- 25:30
of more life I need a break from this life it's it's it's it's great music man it's
- 25:36
great music and I I I mean you know I kind of felt like this was going to be a dope project when I heard how he was
- 25:42
going about it and when when the track list and came out but I think that people we can't this this album is clear
- 25:49
that we can no longer box Drake in as just a rapper anymore if more more more
- 25:54
we've been stop but a lot of people still are trying to box him into that like I've
- 26:00
had this yo he's not rapping he's not just a rapper Mo you got to expand the people you got no this is this is people
- 26:07
this is people on online that I'm just reading the reactions from the album man this is what people are saying and
- 26:12
that's why I'm laughing at the reactions as the album's being played because I'm like yo y y'all just don't get it man y
- 26:18
y'all really just don't understand he's not just a rapper why is this album not an apple
- 26:24
exclusive that's a great question I couldn't come up with a theory on it no I don't know I don't I was a little
- 26:29
shocked on how something must happened behind the scenes where he was like I'm off I well they made their money back
- 26:35
off views pretty quickly mhm uh so I think he was probably tired of like [ __ ] that I'm going get my money everywhere
- 26:41
else they recouped 60 million in 90 days that's amazing MH um it's just him
- 26:49
knowing it's worth I think well if I'm trying to uncover the the Apple mystery
- 26:54
here I have to go back to know what's coming in the future you have to look look to what's happened already um if
- 27:02
you're reading this it's too late right there there was no physical on that album that was a digital only
- 27:09
release I believe I think I think maybe like a few months later there was a couple but yeah for the most part it was
- 27:15
we never found out what contract that counted against uh no it had um it had
- 27:20
cash money on it if you look at the bottom it was Cash Money what does this have on it this has cash money on it too
- 27:26
I believe everything's going to have cash money on it isn't it creepy that we ended the last podcast with I'll see you
- 27:33
guys next time there's a beef and then Ross immediately drops that joint rapping over the old ho [ __ ] coming at
- 27:40
uh bman yeah that song lets me know that uh Ross really pays attention to music
- 27:47
like he's a real fan of like music because a lot of people don't recognize that track as being an ill track and
- 27:55
I've been waiting for somebody to do that record over yo I hate the people that malt speaks to who don't recognize
- 28:00
that track a lot of people didn't even know what that track was well today yes unfortunately you're right that's what
- 28:06
that's who I'm talking about you're right today yeah that's right but that track was like the perfect track to address somebody on I I want to call of
- 28:14
course it was a disc but I don't know it was more like sitting your man down saying you wiing I don't even know if it
- 28:20
was malicious it wasn't malicious I think it I thought it was a really good
- 28:25
approach to dissing somebody if you will yeah I don't even really call it a dis it's just he's addressing I don't know
- 28:32
what a dis is anymore I don't think that record is a I wouldn't say that's a disc record when you address some [ __ ] it's
- 28:38
labeled as a disc when when you say someone when you say anything other than he's the greatest [ __ ] artist in the
- 28:44
world people take it as a dis that [ __ ] said yo it hurt me that your ice was fake that's a disc that's not a
- 28:50
compliment I don't know if that's a disc though see that's my thing that's not a disc all right so if I say to you right
- 28:56
now yo it hurt me that your breath smell like chitlings and ass yeah I mean that
- 29:03
hurts my feelings so because I because I [ __ ] framed it that way yeah it's not a I wouldn't take that as
- 29:10
a disc and especially because Ross and Birdman have history with each other I don't know I can't speak to their
- 29:15
history I don't know I don't know about none of that around that's what basically the reg like damn my [ __ ]
- 29:21
like like I [ __ ] with you but don't tell me that the none of these rapper [ __ ] is [ __ ] okay and
- 29:28
and world only is really people but but Ross is professing how much how much
- 29:34
admiration he had for for bman I think the overall I think that's just the new way to dis somebody not a dis I think
- 29:41
that's the new way to diss somebody and and I'm not saying that wait well that my my argument I'm about to make
- 29:48
definitely didn't take that approach counters against my me dissing homeboy last year but yeah I think that was a disc if you
- 29:55
need a definition that was I just that was 25 minutes of dissing no I just
- 30:00
punch harder but I was dissing a [ __ ] who I have all the Adoration for in the world I'm saying the way Ross did it was
- 30:07
not so that he showed admiration in it yeah but the Ross [ __ ] the cold [ __ ] to who W or whoever the hell he was talking
- 30:15
yeah the new [ __ ] is yo let me have some words right quick with this [ __ ] that
- 30:22
I'm supposed to be fly with but I'mma do it on a record yeah yeah yeah yeah that's right yeah Birdman said hand into
- 30:29
that whole [ __ ] thanks Birdman breaking news wait breaking news live from Fort
- 30:38
Lauderdale I don't know where bir man be let me show the [ __ ] his shot but I had mentioned uh when 4m. in Calabasas came
- 30:44
out that I thought you know I I like the puffy disses that was on it but I thought you know puff don't he's open
- 30:51
about not writing his rap so to beef with somebody on record that don't really rap I thought was odd and it's
- 30:57
the same situation with Birman but again I don't think it was a disc the way 4m. in Calabasas was to Puff I did just
- 31:02
think he was talking to Birdman mhm yeah I don't I don't think that's a dis record but people are going to label
- 31:07
that but in the same sense this goes back to Joe talking about views on his platform Ross could have had that
- 31:13
conversation behind closed doors yeah that's what I'm saying like the way that you address something I I think is
- 31:20
playing a large part in how it's received and and it was the song for your roll out like you put it out the
- 31:25
day before your album you can make that ain't really a roll out just put some [ __ ] out that's a roll out in 2017 it
- 31:31
ain't no such thing as a damn roll out in 2017 and to speak to my point that I made last week I just want to cover it
- 31:37
real quick back to what is a hit that no frauds conversation we were having no frauds doesn't feel as impactful at all
- 31:45
a week later does it no I mean we all I think we all echoed that it wasn't a hit
- 31:50
and that it would be going soon so what they're doing is when Nikki said Remy should write a hit in the next 72 hours
- 31:57
I said that's not hit though so why would you say that so well well today's standard is a is a hit because if it
- 32:04
gets all the streams then it's a hit see that's the difference man let me tell you something
- 32:09
I was having a conversation with uh oh my girl who else do I [ __ ] talk to uh and I was trying to tell her how we
- 32:15
gauged if joints were hot back last decade M like if we ain't hear your [ __ ]
- 32:22
coming out a car like you probably wasn't popping like that like when the weather broke and it was hi out if the
- 32:29
clubs wasn't if the streets wasn't if the like that's how we gauged music mhm
- 32:34
that's how we knew what was impactful today we don't really know because we do everything from our phones so we can't I
- 32:41
think no frauds confused people because people we were waiting for a response from Nikki and that was that just wasn't
- 32:49
the right place to respond so I think that record got lost in that like it was like um it's a cool record but that's
- 32:55
not what the people wanted right then and there so kind of like you should have just if you going to just put out a record you shouldn't have addressed
- 33:00
anything on that record you should have just put out a dope verse on a dope record and let the people do with it and
- 33:07
then address the beef at another time but I just think that that that was done wrong back to back [ __ ] which that was
- 33:14
that was done wrong though uh but speaking of Nikki and the Ross album in that intro Ross had made a not a little
- 33:20
shot but it told uh Meek that he didn't trust Nikki and you had to leave your people alone sometimes let them learn on
- 33:26
them uh on their own which I thought was a but I could understand why Ross would tell him that
- 33:32
and more tune for your headp so watch how you speak on my name you know right it's a fact just so [ __ ] know what you
- 33:37
speak on my but I can see why Ross would would feel that way about Nikki because she's so close to the opposition at that
- 33:45
at that point in time she she has a personal relationship with Drake [ __ ] this doesn't really have to do with meek
- 33:50
and Nikki but I'm not trusting anyone that's coming out of a 10-year relationship and now you're in a relationship with
- 33:55
me I'm not I can kind of see where you going with that yeah I can see I'd be a little weary already about who you are
- 34:02
and your personality and what this is exactly right okay now stop that's when
- 34:07
you're faced with a very interesting Crossroads if you are Meek Mill and you
- 34:13
are of the frame of mind that you just spoke of because Nikki did a lot for his career MH so now you have to ask
- 34:19
yourself the same way I was asking the people in London during my stay there
- 34:25
what do you do if you're a London act and Drake comes to you and you're at the crossroads of do I keep my music do I
- 34:31
give it to this you know do I my career here Meek is faced with the same thing in that in that position that's kind of
- 34:38
difficult to expect a young man to walk away from that type of light that's a large light it illuminates a lot of [ __ ]
- 34:46
like for the beating that people say Meek took in that Drake War I like where he stands
- 34:53
today how so I like how he came out of it I like how he looks eventually now we all said all he had to
- 35:01
do was lose the emo [ __ ] Just Lose It Stop reacting to everything take your phone away out your hand I think that
- 35:08
that message finally got through I disagree he ju he just wilded out on no that wasn't wilding out at all that was
- 35:14
check that was a temp check see that's the difference well no I said in the group chat I liked what Meek did there I
- 35:20
just wish he was better at saying what he actually meant n that n he said what he meant that was a g check that wasn't
- 35:26
a emo I'm acting emotionally that was I see you [ __ ] this is what it is I
- 35:32
know what it is stop playing with me you have to do that that's totally different from emotionally just going off on it
- 35:39
somebody somebody got through to that [ __ ] I think he looks good after the Nicki breakup and this I don't even know
- 35:45
how we started talking about this but and about the uh rossing after the Nicki breakup after
- 35:51
backto back after the biggest act in the world shooting at you for two consecutive years ear on every time we
- 35:58
hear from him Nikki I'm not Nikki [ __ ] Meek still has a a starlike
- 36:04
presence he's still got his people around him he's still employed at a very
- 36:09
high frequency we don't write him off he's still out here he looks great he still
- 36:16
raps his next project is anticipated yeah but he took a beating man he like I
- 36:21
just don't think it's to the degree that people say I think it's we we are
- 36:26
waiting to hear another [ __ ] Meek joint I was happy to hear Meek come in
- 36:31
on the Ross joint even though I think he might have approached the track wrong but that's none of my business I like we disagree on that I like Meek on that on
- 36:38
that song that's one my favorite song Nobody I mean we we all know Meek can you know he he gets on a record and he does what he does but it's the music
- 36:45
people are not of course it's it's funny and cool to still kill me on Twitter which is a little corny but as soon as
- 36:51
that music as soon as that music hits nobody care if the music good yo kill a
- 36:57
[ __ ] when they do something stupid Ross showed that with 50 like 50 was killing
- 37:02
everyone at that time Ross put out better music at that time and we was like all right that pimp and curly [ __ ]
- 37:07
is funny but Ross is we're we're going to know exactly how hard pause those
- 37:12
those Drake blows hit Meek when Meek puts out his next project why because if the
- 37:18
people he just put out a project did he DC4 [ __ ] yeah which people liked oh see
- 37:24
that's my point mik has put out two PR since no just just one that's my point
- 37:30
then no it's kind of like nobody's even talking about it no that's lost girl
- 37:36
that's not fair that's not fair that's not fair how's that not fair that's not fair to say nobody's talking about it've
- 37:42
we in we're in the microwave era where we don't talk about stuff anymore you talk about what's hot no that's not true
- 37:48
I I just made the point that no frauds was the hottest thing smoking last week this week nobody gives a [ __ ] we don't
- 37:55
care nobody I don't have never we have never even spoken about the the meek project ever we have never had a
- 38:01
conversation about Meek's project on this platform that says a
- 38:07
lot we have we have we have spoke about DC4 yeah it was a big release I don't
- 38:14
know and that's only that's my only point when but it came like a lot of projects come and go yeah that's my
- 38:20
that's what I'm saying that era where [ __ ] comes and it goes I'm not putting that on Meek I like where Meek stands
- 38:26
after that battle is all I'm saying has zero to do with Meek I want to see Drake and Tori Go full all out sing
- 38:34
Wars uh I don't know if I don't know if people want that Toronto accent all right well [ __ ] things in fact did
- 38:41
progress especially with yandi and Erica who really had M's heart true how did
- 38:47
yandi and Erica end up with sons only 10 months apart let's figure it out y'all
- 38:52
Tangled did the web get it's pretty Tangled right now you know can tell a lie some of the some of the people on
- 38:58
Twitter now they so stupid now anytime some [ __ ] happen they just tweet me yeah
- 39:05
is this a is this a case of men D is this a case of men D wait why are you
- 39:11
just typing and I always read it in the voice too it's hilarious and it's still funny it's still as funny as it was the
- 39:17
first time I heard it in the event that these guys were to have a karaoke off a rhythm off right who do we who do
- 39:26
we think comes out to Victor here now listeners I have no idea where which way
- 39:33
Maul is going to go with this one we have no idea they kill me
- 39:38
regardless man if I like something or I hate something they kill me yo you know what so you keep saying that no because
- 39:44
look y'all killed me they killed me for a week on my stance on the Remy thing when I say I didn't like the I hated it
- 39:49
then the next week when I say I like something oh yeah you just like everything what are you talking about that was the first and only week
- 39:58
you have ever been killed about anything no but then and then I got killed the next week for liking something so that's
- 40:03
my point it doesn't matter if you like something to hate something somebody's going to have something to say listen man yeah you got killed for hating one
- 40:10
way it's hating too hard one way and liking too hard the other way yeah that happens that's that happens in music but
- 40:16
back to your question I mean let me say this let me say let me say this though
- 40:22
you don't I think we pass the point that you just dismiss it no no no Tor Aubrey
- 40:28
you Aubrey if you're listening you can't dismiss it you've addressed Tori too many times so you might as well go for
- 40:35
the [ __ ] head shot but I will say this though when Tori put out his
- 40:41
controller version it was hotter yeah for what it was I think the masses agree that that was yeah that was the one yeah
- 40:48
but I can't just hold that one to Drake's you know all the the singing
- 40:53
Drake has done in the yeah yeah no no he don't get too much credit for that because it's easy to take somebody's
- 40:58
song and make a Doper freestyle that's easy to do but if we're talking about those two in that type of field I would
- 41:06
have to side with Drake on that and this is a sing and this hypothetical this is just singing no no one's rapping no I
- 41:12
don't want to hear either of them rap against each other I don't either uh [ __ ] Tori may have more credibility in
- 41:20
this realm if we're doing the [ __ ] is that what's going to win this one Well's
- 41:25
going to win everything if we're going off that I'm saying initially here he's really been this way
- 41:31
his whole career Drake is now Jamaican on his fifth album and he might win off
- 41:37
this actually being him and he knows how to do this much better that's all if I have to introduce
- 41:43
Sports likee statistics here but rapping Drake is getting T the [ __ ] out of well I don't know since the allstar break
- 41:49
Rory it seems like torius have a has a better record since the break than Drake
- 41:55
does host what happened well his projects T Tor has one
- 42:02
project you pay much more attention to Tori than we do no let's see what his
- 42:08
album mhm more life's album and all right what I'm
- 42:13
saying is y'all are right that's not what I'm saying what I'm saying is Tori has shown that he's able to produce a
- 42:21
quality enough content to make this an interesting fight is what I'm trying to say to where remember a year and a half
- 42:28
ago on this podcast you can find it I was saying why is Drake even addressing Tory Lanes mhm ignore that [ __ ] ignore
- 42:36
him he'll go away he didn't go away he continued to do what he had to do wonderful and and like Mo said it's a
- 42:42
little bit more personal Man karaoke off man I'm not going to get married to that cuz I want to I want to get get back to
- 42:48
uh my favorite question youall know I like to I like to ask people to rank and rate things so Ross back to my Ross ALB
- 42:57
I'm dipping and dabbing from Ro from more life to rather you than me because they're both just I enjoy them both and
- 43:03
they both provide a great balance right so it got me to thinking about where
- 43:08
slaughterhouse and myself ranked Ross on our alltime list when we were putting
- 43:14
everybody in their proper uh group groupings right I think I might have had
- 43:24
Ross between 30 and 35 on on my alltime list
- 43:29
mhm now he's hard to to put somewhere because his greatest Talent which is his
- 43:37
ear is hard to quantify really so he's
- 43:43
difficult to gauge so I wanted to ask y'all where y'all would rank him all time I do my rankings off discography
- 43:51
out of their whole catalog and I would put Ross that's it I I think that's the factor that you have to come down to if
- 43:57
because there's too many technical [ __ ] like if you're doing rapping then you putting Eminem number one no matter what
- 44:04
and a Kanye West is going to be 50 because he's not really a rapper and doesn't write write his Rhymes so I just
- 44:09
go off music like literally what the best music is and who is the best mus that the music is definitely the biggest
- 44:15
Factor cuz if you get technical it's hard to even talk about this you're going to talk for five [ __ ] hours I'm
- 44:20
following so I put Ross with his discography and what he's done in his career I put him 20 25
- 44:28
for me he's in there he might be a little higher than
- 44:33
that for me I don't think there many rappers that have a better discography than Ross I I can't
- 44:41
maybe top 20 for sure top 15 maybe you are smoking crack I'm I can't name I
- 44:49
can't name more than 20 rappers that have a better discography than than Rick Ro well I disagreed yeah before y'all
- 44:54
even said where y'all put him I disagreed with that like Ross's body of
- 45:00
work is phenomenal M that can't be where it stops even his go underground are
- 45:06
still great that can't be where the criteria stops though no that's just the biggest factor in it just no doesn't
- 45:13
stop so if you start to factor other things in if you factor other things in depending on what they
- 45:18
are I would ask you to tell me where why he how he got to
- 45:23
20 and I'm not even too mad at that because some I think crook or maybe I don't want to put and throw anybody name
- 45:29
out there but somebody had Ross in that 25 slot area yeah somewhere around game
- 45:35
him and game are close on my list yeah Ross I don't think that and i' I've probably said it here before I don't
- 45:40
think Ross gets the credit he deserves as a rapper I really don't think people really credit him for his ability to rap
- 45:48
and put words together well that's because he only has one flow that may be so but my thing is he
- 45:55
still is like with his pen I agree you understand what I'm saying like a lot of people don't really listen to Ross and
- 46:01
you know I think a lot of people are still hung up on that whole 50 [ __ ] correction officer a lot no a lot of
- 46:07
people he got out of that nobody no no he got out of it but what I'm saying is a lot of people hold that that's like
- 46:12
his only like the only [ __ ] in his armor you understand what I'm saying that people could point to no but I'm just
- 46:19
saying that that would be the only thing that people would like yeah but you know what I'm saying is that really him he got somebody else's name he not even
- 46:27
they get into that get I get I I don't care about all of that I'm I'm listening to music and what somebody's saying and
- 46:33
it's not I can't really think of off top if I mean if I sit down and really just think about all the music I've ever
- 46:38
listened to and loved I might be able to push Ross further down the list but I don't think that
- 46:44
there's that I damn near think the the top 15 the top 15 almost damn near didn't
- 46:52
even count like when I was when I was doing it like there's 15 names that you just can't even
- 46:57
argue against M like when you really think about it because we whoever is going to say that Rick Ross is better
- 47:03
than red man right like who is ever going to say that Rick Ross is better than ice cube but but there's 15 of
- 47:10
those legendary names but people will say that Ross has a better discography than red man there's people that will say that people will say that yes
- 47:16
there's people that will say he has a better discography than Cube people don't you know what I'm saying like Ross has a lot of replay value with with Slow
- 47:24
Down slow down slow down I'm just I'm just saying say that people would say that well time out now cuz I don't even
- 47:30
talk talk music with people that are not informed so I get people would say that
- 47:36
right I wouldn't keep having that conversation well maybe I would Ross has an amazing discography Cube has
- 47:42
back-to-back Classics right and I mean Q's just impact on every and I think impact is a big part too once you drop a
- 47:49
classic that's really like 10 albums I think I think Teflon Dawn it don't get
- 47:54
the classic credit from most people but I think is didn't I just ask that a few weeks ago on this podcast about te I did
- 48:00
right I swear to God I'm like a [ __ ] superhero what this album did do I don't
- 48:06
ever want to hear about damn and this sounds so harsh and I don't mean this to come off this harsh I don't want to hear
- 48:11
about deep in the rap no more that's what this album did this is a great album yeah we Deeper Than Rap and Teflon
- 48:18
Dawn to me were Rick Ross's best two albums this album made sure that that
- 48:25
changed forever mhm yeah this is a dope album I'm not quite ready to say it's better than Teflon Dawn but I need more
- 48:32
time it it's not I still need more time not yeah it hasn't it's been out it
- 48:38
hasn't been out a week yet said I need we got to we got to live with it for a while but I feel like when Teflon came
- 48:43
out I had that feeling like all right this is some [ __ ] and the moment I heard
- 48:49
rather you than me I didn't have that feeling I just had that this is a really solid album totally different see y'all
- 48:54
love Teflon D I love deepen and rap the way yall love Teflon da and it's it's pretty split I don't I don't think
- 49:00
that's the consensus of most people is split 5050 this is where I'm about to start getting real tricky I think that Deeper Than
- 49:07
Rap I I could really probably argue is a better album than Teflon da by my
- 49:13
standings MH but Teflon Dawn is probably a greater album than Deeper Than
- 49:20
Rap this album I wouldn't even I wouldn't even really look to do that it's a different time um it's a
- 49:26
different album A lot of these songs don't even have hooks like this is a real different this is more up my alley
- 49:32
so when I say I need to give this more time Teflon Dawn's a greater album cuz it had a whole bunch of trap hits after
- 49:39
hit after hit after hit this album got a lot of soul food though so I got to see how that resonates later but that would
- 49:46
speak to your point about where somebody is in their in their life when they make an album like Ross is probably in a
- 49:54
different I mean naturally he's grown he's progressed I think he wanted to make this album I don't think there was
- 49:59
a forced bone in his body for every single record shout out to Mike Mike herard mik Mike hit me he text me and me
- 50:06
and Mike don't text too often but he text me after the raw [ __ ] dropped and he said he made glass
- 50:13
house because that is what we were attempting to do that that style of I
- 50:19
understood what he was trying to say I just laughed and I said yeah that that [ __ ] is hard it's just hard uh I think
- 50:25
that's a good transition though I had posed the question uh on Twitter after this [ __ ] who has the best ear for Beats
- 50:32
period me and Nas me and Nas is crazy no it's crazy
- 50:40
you [ __ ] is laughing like that tun for your headp the [ __ ] is the [ __ ] is going on in here you [ __ ] with all this
- 50:46
laughter is what I don't understand more for your head how you speak my name watch how you speak on my name you know
- 50:52
F your name yo you know who has a great ear that people never give credit fat F
- 50:57
Joe yeah Fat Joe is a good year Fat Joe get no Fat Joe has a great impeccable
- 51:02
amazing Godlike ear he doesn't give he doesn't get that crit everybody in the industry knows it the industry the I'm
- 51:09
talking about the fans don't they don't but they don't give him that credit yo who I want to meet the fans that you be
- 51:14
talking to I'm just in everyday life you would never sit somewhere and have a conversation just casually with somebody
- 51:20
that listen to music and they would say Fat Joe they wouldn't even mention Fat Joe I wouldn't casually sit somewhere
- 51:25
and have a conversation with someone about music yeah but that's I mean that's you I if you in the barber shop
- 51:30
just talking music and some people fat Joe's name my my point is is fat Joe's name does not come up in conversation
- 51:37
with hip-hop and it should because if you listen to Fat Joe's albums just listen to the music it's you can put it
- 51:44
up there musically with a lot of dope albums that people listen to all time well let's answer Rory's question cuz
- 51:49
immediately when you Poe that question people of of my age in ilk go go write
- 51:55
to Fat Joe well I I answered my own question and I I think puff has the crown by far I don't even think it's a
- 52:02
competition um I put Ross up there though Rose is definitely in the top five I think for for picking beats um
- 52:08
but puff come on like I don't even think it's I just want a full and I don't know
- 52:14
what beats you're crediting puff with I've spoken to Joe bad boy sound I mean I know
- 52:20
that's a part of all that but I think puffy was had a hand in every last record that came out on I think that too
- 52:27
from from to die of Faith like I think he has an ear from mus period I mean oh
- 52:33
yeah I mean if we just some about yeah you can't he is on the list I'm just talking about what we credit him with
- 52:39
he's on the list if we only use puff albums right yeah right if we never use nothing but puff albums he's on the list
- 52:44
I'm just put debate sake for my own like I just want a a entire Ross project
- 52:51
maybe about 12 12 to 14 songs totally
- 52:57
produced by Justice League that's all I want I think that that is that is the album that needs to
- 53:05
happen a complete Ross project executive produced by Justice League are they on
- 53:10
uh rather me than you at all I don't think they are I don't think so when Justice League Dro and I told Rook this
- 53:16
I had the US did when we was in Atlanta with Rook I I told him I was like yo and he told us about all the business like yes a lot of things in the way wait hold
- 53:23
on M let me tell before he even did land that [ __ ] walked us into some [ __ ] he
- 53:29
cut a red light on put a chair in the middle of a empty room with a disco ball on the ceiling he basically DJ playing
- 53:38
crack after crack it was so much crack that I then went I I looked for that
- 53:44
crack the other day in my computer yeah the [ __ ] he played it was overwhelming at at at a point though because when it
- 53:50
so much good yeah when it's so much great music it's like come on man you I just fell in love with the last track
- 53:56
you played now you playing another one that I don't even care about the like it just it was just way too much they get their just Rook I'm still waiting on my
- 54:03
batch that you promised me two weeks ago by the way Rook I'm also looking for bank if anybody sees Bank tell him Joe
- 54:11
Button is looking for him I have a proposition be hard to turn down [ __ ]
- 54:19
hit my line pause nah no pause hit me
- 54:24
[ __ ] [ __ ] out of yeah uh everyone gives just Justice League their credit but I they don't get
- 54:31
brought up when people bring up bring up I promise you when understand what he
- 54:36
saying Joe you don't talk to nobody so you can never have this conversation for your headp so watch how you speak listen
- 54:42
you don't you don't speak to people the way Rory and I would just speak who do yall Rory speaks to a bunch of [ __ ]
- 54:47
tards no I mean but regardless of who you think he speak you don't speak to anybody and you speak to everybody on
- 54:53
forom yeah but so what those are people in the world that listen to music God their opinion matters just stop opinion
- 55:00
shaming you got to stop doing that [ __ ] you got to stop opinion sh stop
- 55:07
stupid opinion right so go ahead with your opinion I don't even remember now when people talk producers Justice League is not they don't come up mad
- 55:14
other people that get brought up before them all right just for shits and giggles here and just because I'm in a good mood The Vibes are right Vibes are
- 55:21
back in here it's a very I was on one last week I want to apologize for last week I was on one last week trying to
- 55:26
tell you I was no y'all no y'all was whacked last week but I was y'all was whack whack we was whack what happens is
- 55:32
when y'all are whack I try to overcompensate and I ask sin I do bad when I try to overcompensate okay but uh
- 55:37
I'm not going to ask sin about that totally not oh wait a minute
- 55:46
hey put these away oh shut the [ __ ] up uh now what what point was I what were we saying just now tell me help me help
- 55:52
me out League Justice League name me the producers that you think are me okay both of you I challenge you see
- 55:59
that's the problem people just say [ __ ] and we don't hold them accountable that's why what Rory and I are saying is
- 56:05
is is a fact because we just had a a conversation based off the The Swiss beats in just battle nobody said Justice
- 56:13
League I did no you didn't yes I did I don't if you did don't remember Justice League but they probably wouldn't do too
- 56:19
well because their music is too beautiful lied that's what I said Justice League for me when you talk
- 56:27
about current people that are still active actively producing I'm not naming very many
- 56:33
people before them so I would like to hear the names
- 56:39
that y'all think are just came out and said that uh farel is the greatest producer of all time just says a lot of
- 56:45
wacky [ __ ] though no but hold on wait let me finish the
- 56:51
problem with just and his wacky [ __ ] is just is smarter than a lot of of us so
- 56:58
when he's saying some [ __ ] that you think is a little wacky but that's not farfetch because we definitely had the
- 57:03
Neptunes and forell on that you know why ke I may have heard Timberland tell me the same thing before my memory is bad I
- 57:11
feel like Tim thinks Tim the best producer but I think in a in a in a quiet moment he spoke that way of for
- 57:18
real as well I mean all of them [ __ ] from that Virginia crew yeah shout out
- 57:24
to knot knots love the bch shout out to you Black Fist in the air is amazing uh
- 57:29
who else [ __ ] is from that Virginia crew uh who else is out there Tim obviously
- 57:35
the producer Tim forel it's a lot of them out there the same way Seattle was like that it's a lot of them out there
- 57:41
uh hey I'll put it in perspective I think a regular rap fan is bringing up Mike will before he's bringing up
- 57:47
Justice League that's a fact I think that I'm done talking to y'all that's a fact fact what else y'all want to talk
- 57:54
what else we got see you he can't opinion sh that's a fact though [ __ ] is crazy I'm asked y'all what else do we
- 57:59
have on the Slate is what I'm asking Let's uh let's change the Vibes we did y'all [ __ ] talking about some
- 58:05
[ __ ] mic things in fact did progress especially with Yandy and Erica
- 58:11
[ __ ] out of here uh I know everyone thinks we're [ __ ] crazy but Chance the Rapper
- 58:18
definitely subbed the [ __ ] out of us oh man on Twitter everyone calls us [ __ ]
- 58:23
crazy and then [ __ ] the [ __ ] we say happens how are we still crazy more tune
- 58:29
for your head top so watch how you speak on my name you know chance gave Rory a lot of bars y'all no chance was echoing
- 58:35
what I was saying he was giving you bars oh was that what was happening that
- 58:41
was definitely happening all right fine everyone kept saying I was on the I'm on Chance's list all right let's talk about it and I'm like fam I was saying what he
- 58:47
was saying give the people some backstory for the people that do not follow social media and current
- 58:53
happenings as swiftly as we do uh let me let me bring this up on the Googles all
- 58:58
right so I'm going to talk in the meantime while Maul looks at his phone and while Rory brings up Google you
- 59:05
familiar with this CH story did that make it to him I saw what I saw what he said about you know him explaining the
- 59:12
chance went on a Twitter rant what see it seemed to be random but I mean everything is random to me who's just in
- 59:19
his bedroom watching the channel ID uh random I'll take the Crazy Rap I didn't
- 59:25
see me personally I could be wrong cuz I'm wrong a lot I didn't see anyone else having this is Chance independent debate
- 59:31
I only heard us well I'm not as arrogant as you so I'm going to assume that other people you're not you're much more
- 59:37
arrogant A J uh a lot of people did have that it was a thing I'm we didn't create
- 59:43
that thing I don't think we created that that was a huge debate is Chance independent or not I didn't yeah it was
- 59:49
that's a huge debate [ __ ] n [ __ ] that we I think we started that whole debate but
- 59:56
yeah I think we brought it we might have mainstreamed the debate a bit and chance
- 1:00:02
is a friend of the show I thought we were respectful right yeah we love we love chance we Champion a lot on this
- 1:00:07
podcast so and I got to go to Chicago on Friday so pull up the rant uh all right it starts with I never felt the need to
- 1:00:13
correct folks on my relationship with apple but now that more people have uh tried to discredit my Independence more
- 1:00:20
tune for your head top so watch how you speak on my name basally he then put Joe Buton at the end of that one uh I want
- 1:00:25
to clear things Apple gave me half a Mill and a commercial to post coloring book exclusively on Apple music for two
- 1:00:31
weeks that was the extent of my deal after two weeks it was on Soundcloud for free I needed the money and they're good
- 1:00:38
people over there that was the rent which echoed exactly what I said
- 1:00:44
that he made that album completely independent and then say yo Apple you can hold this for two weeks for a
- 1:00:49
fee I love when people do what Rory just did no
- 1:00:56
that was not our dispute it was that is not where we disagreed that wasn't even
- 1:01:02
our debate our debate was not was chance independent during the creation of
- 1:01:09
coloring book yes it was cuz we went through the list of the rappers like he couldn't get that without Apple Come On
- 1:01:15
Son yo this why I hate when people do this in that was what said no I said that of course I said that but that
- 1:01:22
wasn't the point the argument was is chance independent I made a lot of
- 1:01:28
points as to why I did not think he was that was one of them so don't try to
- 1:01:34
Corner me to one point because it's all documented we can revisit it if we had interns and producers that would be here
- 1:01:40
before we even started this argument because I'm arrogant and all throughout my life all I ever want people to do is
- 1:01:46
tell me I was right so that's what would happen but uh all right question [ __ ]
- 1:01:52
the other [ __ ] whatever that's in the past do you now still think the rapper is a independent
- 1:02:00
artist hit the hit the thing come on is this a case all right is this a case all right yeah was this a case of meses
- 1:02:09
having his cake and eating it too his chance having his cake wasn't with Yandy was he wasn't with apple was he by with
- 1:02:15
ER would he be back with Yandy is he back with SoundCloud because if both women carried the because if both if
- 1:02:21
both of them have the album some overlap the release would have some overlap two weeks two weeks that
- 1:02:26
Maul in this [ __ ] hood ass Grand Concourse voice over the voice over is
- 1:02:31
amazing yeah I'll answer your question and then I shoot back yes I wait answer
- 1:02:39
ask me again what the question was do you still think Chance is is is not independent yes that is that is my you
- 1:02:45
do think Chance the Rapper I'm saying yes I I stand by what the [ __ ] I was saying [ __ ] you do a lot of daning I
- 1:02:53
don't I do a lot of dancing what are there's no dancing about and this has been my point the entire time he ain't
- 1:03:00
independent there's no no dancing there now my question to YouTube gentlemen wait I don't know what side of Defence
- 1:03:06
you fall on here in this argument by what do I think Chance is independent or not I think Chance is independent okay
- 1:03:11
so now I want to ask you two gentlemen a question Define
- 1:03:17
independent uh you pay for your album you own no no I mean the dictionary oh I
- 1:03:23
mean the dictionary why would you context of the English language the
- 1:03:29
definition of the word independent you can look it up on your own I forget
- 1:03:34
Joe's semantics he's dancing this [ __ ] Stop Dancing with me you're not my type I don't want to
- 1:03:41
dance with you you are semantics man nojo you are you are semantics man you've been that way for years oh all
- 1:03:47
all right we looked it up independent free from outside control not dependent
- 1:03:53
on Authority well that would yeah he's independent no
- 1:03:59
the [ __ ] exactly my point no that would mean he is not independent so let me
- 1:04:05
tell all of the people out there who take the context of the English language
- 1:04:11
and misconstrue words and just [ __ ] interpret them how you see fit there's a
- 1:04:17
lot of people that do that out there I'm not literal because I know what the [ __ ] words mean but Joe you can't say that
- 1:04:25
I'm wait wait time out time out time out I'm semantics man I just want y'all are very accusatory with these things yall
- 1:04:31
say I'm semantics man yes because I know what the word independent means so now
- 1:04:36
chance let me speak to you now since you are directly responding to [ __ ] said on
- 1:04:42
this podcast and I get offended right I get offended because I I feel like this
- 1:04:49
podcast is one of the only places that the listenership could even get honest
- 1:04:54
[ __ ] information if we going to keep it a buck part of the reason that I started
- 1:05:00
this podcast was because I've been in the industry I hated the industry I saw the
- 1:05:07
functionality of it and I wanted to share and share with those alike that
- 1:05:12
wanted some information because you can't trust these other mediums with their own agendas who push their own
- 1:05:19
narratives for their own motives so that's part of why I started this I just want to qualify there so I get a little
- 1:05:26
upset and offended when [ __ ] who I deem to be pretty genuine cuz chance
- 1:05:32
seems genuine to me nice guy I think he's genuine and nice and sweet I I think I take him at face value cuz he's
- 1:05:39
great you know you ain't no [ __ ] independent act when the very next [ __ ] tweet says I took half a mill
- 1:05:46
from Apple stop stop period you don't need to say
- 1:05:52
anymore what more needs to be said once you say say I took a half a million from
- 1:05:57
Apple period you are no longer independent for those of you who do not
- 1:06:03
know what the word independent means Rory you would you like to counter
- 1:06:10
yes you know you just said you've been in the music industry I know you want to go with the independent definition from
- 1:06:16
Webster but there's a lot of gray area in the music industry so being independent in the music industry is
- 1:06:24
owning all your own master not gray area though there's a lot of gray they make it appear as though there's gray area
- 1:06:30
cuz that's where the hiding of money comes into play so but that you I mean
- 1:06:36
that's what I'm saying I'm I'm spreading I'm spreading news cuz it's black and white to some of us it's gray to some
- 1:06:42
others gray everywhere so not to me so when all right let's say he didn't take a a check from Apple and just put it on
- 1:06:48
Apple music as an independent artist Apple's taking a a fee off that is he not independent now that's just a a
- 1:06:56
because he's so big he took an extra fee off it they didn't pay for none of that [ __ ] he didn't owe them any money he
- 1:07:02
didn't have to recoup he's an independent artist he said Apple hold this for two weeks that's just smart business he's just he's independent
- 1:07:08
that's not independent Rory I'm agreeing with what you're saying and that's not independent so that's not independent so
- 1:07:15
when an artist put his [ __ ] in a record store he's not independent Apple's a it's a record store no it is not yes it
- 1:07:21
is in this sense no it is not that's all it is it acts as a record store it is
- 1:07:27
much bigger than a record store I could argue it's the entire music industry
- 1:07:33
damn near it's how most consumers get their music are you independent yes so
- 1:07:39
when I send my project to Apple Apple takes their percentage so Empire has has nothing to
- 1:07:46
do with it this is a story that will go down my bad cuz we having a serious conversation uh what were you saying say
- 1:07:52
it again Empire is Empire get is an independent label right no Empire is a distributor they
- 1:08:00
distribute is Apple not a distributor as well no no did you owe Empire any money
- 1:08:06
off your album no don't come on Empire did it for
- 1:08:12
free no Empire didn't do [ __ ] so then why are they then why are they on your album or little logo at the bottom no
- 1:08:20
what I'm saying is as far as funds and creating the project me and aab made the music I'm saying I had to wait time out
- 1:08:28
I had to I well you bring it up so I'm answering I had to pay AAP not
- 1:08:34
Empire okay Joe Buton has to pay a the independent Joe Buton has to make sure a
- 1:08:39
rabbit's taken care of and I'm saying we're taking if we're taking Chance's word for it here and there is that is
- 1:08:45
exactly what the deal was wait what's wait time out what's exactly what the deal was I I have an album Apple you can
- 1:08:52
hold it for two weeks for uh $500,000 chance paid I'm sure he got a lot of those features for free but Chance paid
- 1:08:57
his producers chance paid uh his features that's his album he put it together and said Apple we know that
- 1:09:04
Rory I don't it's the same thing you paid aab and then brought your [ __ ] to Empire and said put it out it's the same
- 1:09:10
thing it's not the same Rory I understand that you have to argue that point for the sake of our podcast but it's not the same apple is a built apple
- 1:09:19
is a bu I see what Joe saying is a he feels like Joe he feels like chance is not independent because apple is such a
- 1:09:25
big well wait cuz I'm I'm going to elaborate on that point Apple the the the advantage to Apple talking to you is
- 1:09:33
they are their own builtin infrastructure they need zero dollars
- 1:09:38
from anyone and they have the entire audience they control the audience they
- 1:09:45
are the market so when you say Empires like apple one is the distributor one no
- 1:09:53
no no it's not the same at all that's wait time out that's Point number one point number two now he may have just described the
- 1:10:01
basic moot point of his uh the premise of his [ __ ] uh contract right I'm
- 1:10:07
sure there was more detail apple is not taking the same percentage from Joe Buton raging the machine project as they
- 1:10:13
are taking from chance or any indep any independent act apple is not taking the
- 1:10:19
same cut from them that they are taking from chance that's number two number
- 1:10:24
three name me the other acts that have this deal in place with apple because
- 1:10:31
listeners be clear Apple when they talk music is Jimmy iven Jimmy iven is inner
- 1:10:38
scope music old regard old regime like come on with the shits so when he tells
- 1:10:44
me they gave me half a million dollars hey [ __ ] record deals ain't giving you half a million dollar people record
- 1:10:51
deals are not giving a $500 million it was 500,000 but they can't cuz they
- 1:10:57
can't afford it Apple can I mean I might keep saying 500 million if you got 500 million half a mill still half a mill
- 1:11:04
for your pocket this ain't the '90s this ain't last decade you're not just going
- 1:11:09
to Atlantic and 300 name me the places that you could go and walk out with half
- 1:11:16
a million uh cash or liquid or anyway epic it's it's not very it's not very
- 1:11:21
many and epic La won't give it to you damn near unless you in a gang killed somebody and he could take it back on
- 1:11:26
the back end sorry all right sorry that that was a low blow sorry what you want me to what you want me to do I'm just
- 1:11:33
looking at the people he give deals to I'm just looking at the rappers that go over there and and [ __ ] with him so we
- 1:11:39
got to take what I'm just taking what chance said for what it is of course there could be some backstory there but I'm saying he said the second that he
- 1:11:46
takes half a m half a million dollars from them with the promise of
- 1:11:52
exclusivity exclusivity he is relinquished wishing his
- 1:11:57
control he is not independent he controlled making that deal Point yeah I
- 1:12:04
mean he did he controlled he said this is what I want to do with my project the y'all are not arguing against my
- 1:12:10
point I don't care what the [ __ ] he did when he created the project once he had the project in tow
- 1:12:17
mhm his next talking what do you mean what I'm talking about you you everybody in the world has to make a project Rory
- 1:12:24
what you do with the project is how you're labed I don't care what he was when he made I'm saying he had control
- 1:12:29
by going tole and saying yo you could hold this and he gave away his [ __ ] control so he's not independent it's
- 1:12:34
black it's not difficult what I'm saying forek de so you are not independent they
- 1:12:40
no longer have any dealings though does Apple own any of Chance's uh album this is what that's
- 1:12:46
what uh I don't know I would argue yes I would say yes let's go with what's tangible and what we know is was said
- 1:12:53
they have no control I know that apple is not doing a deal with anybody and not getting something back in return they
- 1:12:59
got something back though everyone ran to Apple to listen to this [ __ ] and they probably got more streams so we're saying we're saying the same thing I'm
- 1:13:06
saying I do not know the details of his deal but you're saying you don't think Chance is independent I'm saying the
- 1:13:13
second that he made that deal so today the the deal was only for two weeks
- 1:13:18
though they had they had all rights to the albums for for two weeks you know what you know what let's do this let's
- 1:13:24
do this let's do this let me let's do this gentlemen tell me how you you will receive Chance's next project why would
- 1:13:31
I know no no no no no no no now [ __ ] rationalize your stupidity and tell me
- 1:13:37
how we'll get his next project both of you he sell it he said he's thinking about selling his first isn't that what
- 1:13:44
he said I'm confused at your confusion right now yeah I'm confused at your
- 1:13:49
confusion like what are you talking about y'all got it I mean if we will we need we need understand I need to
- 1:13:56
understand what you're saying yeah he did say that I'm thinking about selling it he did say if he smart if he's smart
- 1:14:01
he'll make another album and say hey apple look how well that did now give me 1.5 million to hold it for two weeks if
- 1:14:08
he's smart but he don't owe Apple nothing right now smart he would look to not be independent again you're saying
- 1:14:13
that's inde because that makes you not independent it Distributing your album that's how people take the
- 1:14:20
music giving your album to the to the own damn near the
- 1:14:26
only [ __ ] uh Marketplace and having a deal with them directly makes you not
- 1:14:35
independent no it makes you it makes you not yeah which makes you not independent you could [ __ ] call it however you
- 1:14:40
want to call it being a busman means you're not independent no the second you sign that deal which Rory is saying
- 1:14:47
makes chance a good businessman it does I'm saying that that's great we can all agree I mean I
- 1:14:54
don't we can't agree we don't even have enough information we don't know the contents of that deal we can assume it makes him a good businessman what we
- 1:15:01
don't have to assume is that makes him not independent if I walk in if I'm walk in
- 1:15:07
here next week and say to you gentlemen and we're not going to stay on this cuz we stayed on this too long already if I
- 1:15:13
come in here next week and tell y'all Apple gave me a mill to to hold and
- 1:15:19
release my album exclusively for a month y'all would didn't tell me I'm an independent
- 1:15:25
like cut the [ __ ] for argument sake did you uh create did you create the by stop
- 1:15:31
stop fast forwarding stop fast forwarding the second that I sign that
- 1:15:38
deal am I independent Rory because he has too much pride won't say yeah I
- 1:15:45
sound stupid right now I'm the one with pride they had I had right because you won't answer that direct question they
- 1:15:50
had rights to theum for two weeks though I've been trying to let you you keep trying to tell me about the creation and post I keep talking about that period
- 1:15:58
that period independent when he signs that deal and the biggest music distributor
- 1:16:05
hands him half a million dollars can somebody answer my very direct direct question yes or no I can't when you're
- 1:16:11
screaming I think that I think that he's still independent yes of course I still think he's independent I know chance
- 1:16:17
baby that's not when when your next project is released that you will indeed
- 1:16:23
sell even though you are telling us you have many sleepless nights trying to
- 1:16:29
decide if you will sell it [ __ ] you will sell it you will sell it and do not
- 1:16:35
feed to me you will only sell it because that is the only way your music will be
- 1:16:41
recognized after you just won Grammy for album of the year not selling it the
- 1:16:48
traditional way well now the traditional way but to answer question sell it you
- 1:16:53
you changed the whole sell it and how you sell it wa that proves my point when
- 1:16:59
you sell it and how you sell it speaks to your
- 1:17:05
Independence the same way hve sold a million records before a record was ever released because of his Samsung deal
- 1:17:12
ladies and gentlemen these are the new creative ways people have to profit off
- 1:17:18
of music because streaming has made that difficult so chance did sell his project
- 1:17:26
to not a mom and pop store like Rory was asking me in his
- 1:17:32
earlier examples it wasn't a mom and pop store he gave it to if I go and make rageing the machine part two and I give
- 1:17:39
it to mul I'm still independent if you pay me for it and I sell it to you in
- 1:17:45
bulk I am still independent mole is not a major
- 1:17:51
distributor apple is a major distributor then not one with leverage in the
- 1:17:57
marketplace with not only their own artist but their own artist department
- 1:18:03
they are competing apple is a compete it's a compete you are not independent
- 1:18:09
when you have a deal with a [Music] compete but it was for two weeks then
- 1:18:15
you're not independent for two [ __ ] week that's not what
- 1:18:22
of you two [ __ ] get that's not what you said though you said today you still think Chance is not independent that's
- 1:18:29
what you said yeah that's me and more will be revealed I also keep no man wait what do you mean I know changing it I
- 1:18:34
know I keep trying to get off this cuz I'm done talking about I don't care about it enough but I'm just saying like I'm just trying to listen to what you're
- 1:18:40
saying I know you you said you don't think Chance is independent today I don't that that deal that you're talking
- 1:18:46
about was for two weeks and I asked you gentlemen a very direct question I answered you 10 minutes ago I said yes I
- 1:18:52
still think he's independent no I said when he signed that deal he independent for that two weeks yes yes I answer all
- 1:18:58
all right what else we got on the Slate oh can we that's a big problem in
- 1:19:04
the community when people just be wrong and they hear and know they wrong so they'll stick to the point just to not
- 1:19:10
die with it oh my [ __ ] goodness gracious the funny thing is I agree with you what's next on this SL you should
- 1:19:16
take your own advice oh shut up ladies and gentlemen I was also not
- 1:19:22
having a seizure or contion just now I anytime I get passionate people like
- 1:19:28
to say I'm whing yeah you was a little whing just now but I'll let you w shut up that's all on our list [ __ ] is there
- 1:19:35
anything else it's mad [ __ ] hold up so uh homeboy died Rockefeller
- 1:19:40
died uh somebody else died it's a lot going on it's a lot hold up man let me put my phone out right quick y'all talk
- 1:19:47
about something let me take my shirt over comfy we kicking it oh my God yeah you need a break uh
- 1:19:53
well [ __ ] to death if you're listening to this now today's a year since F has died if realize that time has flew that
- 1:20:00
[ __ ] fast so rest in peace F dog and also speaking of f did anyone catch the
- 1:20:07
Chappelle [ __ ] yet I watched both today no I it yet see I knew was more I do
- 1:20:13
want hold on on I do want to note the shirt that Joe has on so we can settle
- 1:20:18
this right now B is your mans just take it accept it Jesus we'll never do wow
- 1:20:25
Joe really are you an independent entity is this Peola can he give you
- 1:20:30
some bread to wear that on the podcast don't do that cuz in 2017 I don't even
- 1:20:36
promote [ __ ] boys or [ __ ] [ __ ] hey man that's going to be on it's biscuit.
- 1:20:41
comom tomorrow I know uh but yeah D did you watch uh the Chappelle [ __ ] I think Mo just said he
- 1:20:47
didn't I watched you knew more than watch the damn Chappelle [ __ ] Chappelle though I figured at least that would be
- 1:20:53
something you definitely catch it though for sure two I watched the Chappelle [ __ ] um but I also had seen Chappelle um
- 1:21:00
at Radio City Music Hall last year um so I was familiar with a lot of those jokes
- 1:21:06
but I I just was happy to see him was happy to see it again happy that he got that deal after turning down independent
- 1:21:13
after turning down all of that money I'm [ __ ] with
- 1:21:19
you yo can we talk about real quick uh and nobody you can talk about anything you want to talk nobody ever gets these
- 1:21:26
uh these uh type of opportunities but that that photo that everybody talking about Drake was shot that's a that's a
- 1:21:33
pretty big deal cuz nobody's ever seen with you don't ever see shot at all so
- 1:21:38
do we think that a record is coming and if so how big is that Drake
- 1:21:45
using pictures with women as rollouts that [ __ ] use JLo as a roll out
- 1:21:50
then for a sample Hey listen man no I'm not mad at at all I ain't mad I think it was great JLo is going to [ __ ] Drake up
- 1:21:57
man I would I'd take a Drake and shot record of course you absolutely would I
- 1:22:02
think a lot of his sound comes from shade to be honest I can see that that dark I know I know a lot of people give
- 1:22:08
Aaliyah that but I think a lot of shade uh is influenced there I saw that
- 1:22:13
picture I didn't really think much of it a lot of like like Rory just said a lot of his music does sound like it's
- 1:22:18
influenced by her anyway uh I also saw a picture with her and Trey so apparently
- 1:22:24
they were at some type of shindig or or function a concert I guess oh okay where people are seeing shade shade is great
- 1:22:30
and amazing and anything that she's on I would like to hear it yeah and especially if her and Dr her together
- 1:22:36
that sounds like it makes sense right was that photo of her daughter that was on the timeline was that really her daughter I don't know only you guys look
- 1:22:42
at daughters and Maul with his [ __ ] 18yearold adult that he likes on Instagram oh my
- 1:22:49
God I didn't know she was 18 I asked ask and you you had the
- 1:22:56
information right a you going throw me under the he you had the info lay up you
- 1:23:02
stop me you said yo dog she's only 19 having his cake throw me it ain't a
- 1:23:09
thr us I'm kid I'm kidding uh what we will hit on uh so a few quick things Ben
- 1:23:15
Affleck apparently speaking of JLo completed treatment for alcohol
- 1:23:21
addiction you guys did not hear that at know exactly put out he put something out I'll read I'll read uh a little bit
- 1:23:27
it says I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction something I've dealt with in the past and will continue to
- 1:23:33
confront I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be I want my kids to know there is no shame
- 1:23:39
in getting help when you need it and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to
- 1:23:44
take the first step I'm lucky to have the love and U I'm lucky to have the love of my family and friends including
- 1:23:50
my co-parent genuine support all right you get the point um so yeah I had no idea Ben Affleck was battling alcohol
- 1:23:57
alcohol addiction I didn't I didn't know either and I'm so jaded that I don't even know how to take it when I read Hollywood stars coming out and saying
- 1:24:04
this cuz then I think they're just fighting like a traffic ticket or some [ __ ] and they're checking themselves in the rehab now I can't play like that
- 1:24:10
because anyone who's familiar with me in my story I think uh addiction is very serious but I would be lying if I said I
- 1:24:17
I didn't have a uh tainted eye when it comes to these guys so Batman is an
- 1:24:23
alcoholic shocker there is is that is are we looking at Ben Affleck like Batman he's
- 1:24:29
the feel get the [ __ ] out of here he's the current Batman yeah that trash man that was trash I mean but he's been
- 1:24:35
Batman for that was super trash and in what world can Batman be Superman it's make believe Joe I I don't
- 1:24:42
know in what world oh my God not the real one and then what happened in that stupid [ __ ] their mothers and if
- 1:24:48
Superman's dad had [ __ ] Batman's mom or some [ __ ] what weird [ __ ] did they have going on in there you wonder who we talk
- 1:24:54
to who [ __ ] do you talk to God I hated that [ __ ] uh let's see what else happened uh Ling hip hop judge denied M
- 1:25:01
DC's request for a short sentence I cared about that so I kept up with you
- 1:25:08
just request a short sentence uh for good behavior uh time sered different things different things but I guess he
- 1:25:15
thought he was going to get time served or some [ __ ] and get go from 8 to 5 but the judge was like nah but you just go
- 1:25:21
back in a few months and request it again and hope for a different judge that's that's how the game he got time serve though right so he already got
- 1:25:28
like a year or two under his belt I'm notbe I'm not sure and some other really really sick news uh I don't know if
- 1:25:35
people have been following this the story of the uh jury convicts former MMA
- 1:25:40
fighter uh of kidnapping some girl and I don't know some wild [ __ ] those
- 1:25:46
dudes are weird but wait and then on the Real Housewives of one of those shows apparently two people were shot
- 1:25:53
execution sty and F in one of them girls cars like it's wild [ __ ] happening in the news is this real irq what the [ __ ]
- 1:26:01
is this Housewives of Chicago what is this uh photo two men that are responsible for the death of young men
- 1:26:07
shot execution style and left to burn in a real housewi Kim DEA car or some [ __ ]
- 1:26:13
[ __ ] is doing some real life uh gangster [ __ ] out here at that's just the bottom line the point on reality TV
- 1:26:18
the point of what I was saying are reality TV getting real it's getting real y'all saw loving hip-hop
- 1:26:25
do we want to talk about that yet oh wait still on the news still on the news whoa did y'all see uh I see I've been
- 1:26:32
reading the newspaper every morning since I was six so I just keep up with [ __ ] did y'all see the Aaron Hernandez
- 1:26:38
trial homeboy that took the stand and was testifying against him the driver yeah that was czy he's going to be the
- 1:26:43
new uh snitching meme too cuz they got the first photo as him just stand like see now timeout see that's where some things just need to get addressed and
- 1:26:50
see now I'm not a thug or a felon or a street [ __ ] so the the street codes I
- 1:26:55
don't really you know they change up every now and then are we going to consider what this gentleman did
- 1:27:02
snitching some would uh yes and I'll say again I'm far from a street guy let me
- 1:27:08
give backstory for the people uh this is the gentleman who allegedly was driving
- 1:27:15
the car when Aaron Hernandez pulled up and rolled his window down and said what's up now [ __ ] blong blong BL BL BL
- 1:27:22
allegedly allegedly but this is Story the [ __ ] told on the stand right and then Aaron Hernandez thought that this
- 1:27:28
guy would eventually snitch so he went and shot him in the face trying to kill
- 1:27:33
him and look now he's on the stand in like [ __ ] Tootsie's parking lot or in a weird Twist of events he's on the
- 1:27:40
stand now that guy then indeed did take the stand he then he then did take the W
- 1:27:45
he does sound like a concerned citizen as I would be uh he participated in the crime and he's using this as a way
- 1:27:52
because he got uh what's the word when you do when you snitch you you get oh I don't know there's a word I don't know
- 1:27:58
what's the word you get free exonerated there you go he he's not going to face any time TR to still make me know the
- 1:28:06
word you look like a snitch in that sweater um and the shirt this t-shirt I
- 1:28:11
really look like uh yeah for his testimony he's not going to do any time for being involved in the crime so to me
- 1:28:18
that's that's yeah if he just got shot in the face and told I don't think that's snitching yeah yeah I I've I've
- 1:28:25
had this debate with a few of my homeboys if you shoot me in my face I am telling on you yeah that but that's but
- 1:28:33
but that's the thing people don't you know this there the snitching like you said people have their interpretations
- 1:28:39
of what is snitching and what is not snitching people believe that if any point in time you call the police for
- 1:28:45
anything and that's considered snitching I don't that's not snitching that's not snit that's not snitching like I don't
- 1:28:51
if now if we're in something together and I get caught and now you know I take
- 1:28:58
the stand and I'm telling yeah his this was his involvement that that snitching because we were all doing something
- 1:29:03
knowing together I'm doing it to get out of it and putting it on you it's Street code and it's civilian code it's just
- 1:29:09
two different codes yeah but people don't understand that and then that's just this which 6 minutes yeah when he said if
- 1:29:16
there's a serial killer next door or you telling people and Cam said no here's something really important that might
- 1:29:22
move that you two jerks of very pleased pleased with they exhausted all their their
- 1:29:28
efforts and their resources and they managed to find Tom Brady's Missing Super Bowl Jersey I was concerned I know
- 1:29:34
you guys were really worried about that yeah I was worried man 500 missing Dominican girls on Dykeman in the past
- 1:29:41
48 hours but they used their resources to find Tom Brady's jersey that's the
- 1:29:47
world we live in OJ had it the whole time it's crazy that's just the world we live in bro uh do y'all care about the
- 1:29:53
conservatives was turning their back on the Tommy Lauren girl because she uh said some [ __ ] and put her foot in her
- 1:29:58
mouth polit politicians are Politics as Usual I'm happy that she's suspended but I think it's terrible what she was
- 1:30:05
suspended for she was suspended she said all that wild racist [ __ ] and then she gets suspended for saying well I'm poor
- 1:30:10
choice right that's wild yeah they um but I'm glad she's off the [ __ ] air but I I don't think it's the end for her
- 1:30:17
I want to encourage all of my black black Brothers out there to go to the
- 1:30:23
doctor and get checkups the details were released on Q's death Q from World Star
- 1:30:30
did y'all read on that oh no I didn't see that he had a a severe buildup of plaque in his cardiovascular system as
- 1:30:39
well as a metal stint near his right coronary artery was discovered mhm uh uh
- 1:30:48
investigators noted morbid obesity as a contributing factor at the time of his death he was 300 45 lbs jeez that's
- 1:30:57
That's Heavy that's a lot of weight to carry I just want to encourage people to go get checkups and go to the doctor and
- 1:31:03
be proactive uh as dumb as it sounds I know a lot of people who live live by
- 1:31:10
the uh motto of if I don't know then it won't hurt me uh that's really stupid
- 1:31:16
and you're going to die thank you for that PSA thank you Dr
- 1:31:22
listen I thought it was important that that somebody get to it uh what else is going on y'all don't y'all don't care
- 1:31:27
about the uh oh [ __ ] I thought this was interesting uh and not only cuz Drake
- 1:31:33
got 416 biggest [ __ ] tatted down his ribs and he also they say he got a the
- 1:31:38
more Life tattoo that [ __ ] Bumblebee with the plant [ __ ] mhm I don't even know where to find that emoji so I
- 1:31:44
couldn't even participate has anyone seen Ed Sharon's tattoos uh I mean I know
- 1:31:51
has please tell me phone well I checked [ __ ] off that I want to talk about why is this why does
- 1:31:59
Ed Sharon have these tattoos this way I don't know but that's def why he have a big that's definitely the cover art for
- 1:32:04
this for this no no we Gotan no we going with look at him man we going with Ross
- 1:32:11
and [ __ ] uh Drake yo Chuck Barry Chuck Barry died see I knew somebody died Chuck Barry died people died hey
- 1:32:17
look did y did y'all see that sex tape that they that came out on Chuck Barry yeah no I didn't know there was cameras
- 1:32:23
listen to No no listen to me listen to me it is the funniest [ __ ] you will ever see in your life like he's lit I I
- 1:32:31
didn't know that this was a known thing like apparently in the ' 80s like the FBI was investigating him they raided
- 1:32:37
his crib all types of crazy [ __ ] whatever and they found this home video how it got out after this man died we
- 1:32:43
can all speculate I don't know cuz he was trying to buy NBC he is literally on this tape bugging the [ __ ] out man like
- 1:32:51
he's he pissed on one girl he said he told her I would kiss you but you smell like piss after he peed all over her oh
- 1:32:56
no no no that's [ __ ] up you how many girls I have kissed that to smell like piss why you can't just not kiss a girl
- 1:33:03
because she smells like piss you absolutely can not kiss a girl if she smells like piss Joe but anyway it's mad
- 1:33:08
then Chuck Barry the the rock and roll icon is is then laying on the bed he
- 1:33:14
tells the girl to give his ass a little kiss so he you know he he puts himself
- 1:33:19
like in the in the Boston crab or whatever he throws his legs back I don't this is Chuck we talking about he throws
- 1:33:25
his legs back and the white girl see already that's [ __ ] up I got arrested last time I put a girl on the Boston
- 1:33:30
crab he put himself in the Boston crab that's why you got to right he didn't put her in the Boston he put himself in
- 1:33:36
the Boston crab Ed that and and then going on right now and then he told
- 1:33:41
judging me and then he told the girl to give his ass a kiss so she starts like licking his ass and he farts that's G
- 1:33:48
[ __ ] that's G [ __ ] [ __ ] this is Chuck Barry we talking about man a g
- 1:33:54
I never looked at him like this is that it was the it was uncomfortable and it was like I cannot believe that he was
- 1:34:00
moving like this is this like clear it's online it was on my timeline I didn't know anything about this and apparently
- 1:34:06
this was big news in the ' 80s everybody knew about this this was big news when [ __ ] Sky told me all the same [ __ ]
- 1:34:11
about you who wait who [ __ ] who Sky I
- 1:34:16
don't know what the [ __ ] you talking about but but in my story a girl named
- 1:34:22
Sky definitely told me in the crew that you came through and put yourself in the Buster get the [ __ ] all that wild [ __ ]
- 1:34:29
try to put this on [ __ ] out of here that's that's a lie Mo would definitely still kiss her
