alright ladies and gentlemen Mic Check 1

  • 0:22

    2 1 2 my check 1 2 1 2 I'll name is podcast later this is

  • 0:27

episode 11 I want to say yeah I really hope it is good how to get a number wrong

  • 0:32

you're right alright this is episode 11 we have mati Mendes in the building

  • 0:38

you're why I'm not sure now Rory is here

  • 0:44

yet again that I think Rory has become like an unofficial part of the podcast

  • 0:50

he plays hooky from his corporate corporate world allegedly allegedly for

  • 0:56

about an hour hour and a half and comes to hang out with his hood friends that would be me yeah I was gonna say it

  • 1:06

sparks some of you do parks is my

  • 1:14

engineer huh Clarkson the producer parks it is DJ parks wears many hats he should

  • 1:20

have been able we were having our hip hop discussion that mati Mendez offered nothing I said something yeah but it

  • 1:27

wasn't a very much but big week plenty to talk about this week for some strange

  • 1:32

reason it would almost seem like I did some planning for this one but I didn't whoa I didn't it's just a very busy week

  • 1:39

Avengers comes out Friday look nobody's excited just coming up no it's not just

  • 1:46

me there's a world of people that dummy's gonna break a lot of Records it'll probably do better yeah I'm just not interested it might break it might

  • 1:53

eventually fast faster Furious 7 it might it might come closer that or break it well you guys just like if you

  • 1:59

do like comic books have raunchy chowder the Kentucky Derby is this weekend I

  • 2:06

don't know much about it but a horse will win what you've been watching what

  • 2:11

else let me address this let me last week I made I made playoff predictions last week and I'm all wrong

  • 2:20

all of them were wrong and horrible I didn't take into account of some injuries Milwaukee is pushing Chicago to

  • 2:27

[ __ ] sticks now I didn't see that happening I did guess the warrior sweepit appellate they didn't sweep yes

  • 2:33

I did I guess that I guessed uh I didn't see Toronto not wanting to play at all

  • 2:39

but I'm happy because I didn't want to see [ __ ] Drake on Instagram celebrating what else to see while a on

  • 2:46

Instagram celebrating yeah but I can deal with wildly celebrating his celebrating is like it's not as

  • 2:52

exaggerated as obnoxious as drink yeah Drake just be too excited that like the Raptors have won something recently and

  • 2:59

I don't like it because I'm an x-man but anyway uh oh the Yankees won and uh and Subway Series

  • 3:06

two to one beat some anti none let's use people I don't know maybe I'm just more into sports than uh some other people

  • 3:11

that was like a real big deal to me uh hearing something hearing something feedback feedback what's happening what's happening in the world crackling

  • 3:17

crackling I think it's a [ __ ] of the maximum air out of here we've never made

  • 3:22

a problem first of all no man even has a air get the air of a month you though why do you ask my else's laptop cuz my

  • 3:28

job gives me a extra MacBook and it is your apartment

  • 3:36

hate to burp in the podcast but uh the big fight the final Saturday about that

  • 3:41

absolutely fight party you're such a burden you care about the biggest one of

  • 3:49

the biggest fights in boxing it's okay because it's also a big deal that's why you kid yeah why is it a big deal money let's

  • 3:55

hear it because they're both exactly my point yeah all right so all right let's get

  • 4:01

your account out the way uh so what type are you going to desert my friend Sameera she just having a party at her

  • 4:06

house all right so ones in the house wasn't a fight party very great where Rory uh

  • 4:15

I'll probably if I don't find anything try to convince you to buy it so I don't have to buy it and watch it nobody's

  • 4:22

coming no no we're not doing that uh

  • 4:30

what do you guys have winning this fight me either so this fight Mayweather could get

  • 4:38

jerked and here's why if it goes to decision he could get jerked because there's double the amount of money if

  • 4:43

Mayweather loses if he wins he can retire and get the [ __ ] out of here boxing is the most corrupt sport ever so

  • 4:52

if it's just a straight-up fight I'm taking me whether but if it comes a decision and he gets jerked it's not

  • 4:58

gonna surprise me because now we could do part two Pacquiao Mayweather the [ __ ] was on the front of my verizon bill you

  • 5:03

know it's money this [ __ ] fight is bringing in how much you do Verizon boo how much I paid it today 130 with you

  • 5:09

Rison that's actually pretty cheap for a cell phone no oh my god

  • 5:19

it's not like we haven't seen weird happen stances in boxing before um so

  • 5:26

that wouldn't shock me at all I think Mayweather is extremely prideful yeah I do think that zero means a lot to

  • 5:34

him I don't think he would throw the fight for money I don't see how his ego allowing him to do that yeah so if the

  • 5:40

funny [ __ ] happened I don't it would be from boxing it would be from it would be from the judges Pacquiao would have to

  • 5:45

keep it extremely close I'm not sure that he can I don't put as much faith in Pacquiao as everyone else does to be

  • 5:51

honest with you I get it Mayweather 38 Pacquiao is 36 Pacquiao hasn't had a knockout since OH

  • 5:58

809 against Cotto when he beat the bloody [ __ ] out of Miguel Cotto and I felt like I was watching Apollo Creed in

  • 6:05

Rocky like I wanted I wanted to stop that fight I did like it was really really

  • 6:11

really and kodos my guy so I was horrible with ya Pacquiao hasn't had a knockout since

  • 6:16

then we've seen him fall asleep that's an understatement

  • 6:22

Mayweather is just too much of a tech tactician yeah he's certainly one of the

  • 6:28

smartest fighters ever Annie seems angry oh they don't like each other that's

  • 6:33

what I do like the most about this they just generally do not like each other it's not certain boxing matches where you're supposed to hate the person they

  • 6:39

just [ __ ] hate each other now I'll touch on a topic that I probably shouldn't but Joe was gonna Joe

  • 6:44

Oh shocker I'm a little confused as to why ESPN seems to be running a smear

  • 6:51

campaign on Mayweather yes it's odd and you know what I've also noticed is the

  • 6:57

feminist groups when Mayweather allegedly was beating women it didn't matter but now that he has a fight it's the

  • 7:03

biggest story in the [ __ ] world like Wheaton you're very selective with your outrage when you see people being

  • 7:08

successful then you have to bring these things up the timing is a bit weird to

  • 7:14

me and I don't think I've ever seen it happened this heavy before a fight um

  • 7:22

I've seen this at least five times a day on ESPN for the past week and a half

  • 7:28

I watched the outside the lion story interesting story didn't really give me any new information Mayweather allegedly

  • 7:35

beat a bunch of [ __ ] up since 2001 great and I don't want to sound insensitive toward that because I'm not

  • 7:40

I don't condone it I don't agree with it at all but I don't know I guess it makes it hard there are a lot of people who

  • 7:46

are having a hard time separating Mayweather the boxer for Mayweather the person so let me make my stance very

  • 7:52

clear I hate Mayweather the person and I don't use that term very loosely he's very uh it's very egotistical

  • 7:58

he's very shallow he's very arrogant he's fair he's not just nut he doesn't

  • 8:03

reek of intelligence at all that's my own personal take you can't take

  • 8:09

anything away from his boxing skill and I'm gonna order the fight and I'm gonna enjoy the fight I don't care about what

  • 8:16

he does in his spare time and that's that Park same thing that sounds like I

  • 8:23

feel the same way I don't like me whether it's person a boxer now understand is very arrogant

  • 9:05

but yeah alright arrogance okay great yeah do not expect him especially to be

  • 9:11

perceived that way as arrogant he should show the public how arrogant use he's a fighter

  • 9:16

but when broader does it it doesn't really work because Branagh gets beat well Branagh gives beat and Branagh does

  • 9:24

not work half as far as Mayweather Mayweather is the richest athlete as of

  • 9:31

now yes currently so he is able to to do

  • 9:37

the whole braggadocious thing a bit different from other athletes but I

  • 9:42

don't know I guess my thing is when you've been an end zone when you get to them zone act like you've been there before like it's not a shocker that this

  • 9:49

guy has 20 cars and a big beautiful man like that is it surprising I mean if this is what you're supposed to have he

  • 9:56

just seems too excited for me oh no I'm gonna down here of guys so you're more into Pacquiao's political singing no no

  • 10:16

I might be a the biggest foe where's Pacquiao from the Philippines oh yeah

  • 10:22

    I'd be a sensation I'd be a Philippine Pacquiao

  • 10:28

Corie on the phone so I want to call I want to call a dear friend of mine who I

  • 10:35

defer to when it comes to boxing now this guy's been in the studio all night

  • 10:42

and hasn't slept shocker shocker shocker but I'm gonna call him just to get his

  • 10:47

take on this fight because I do respect his boxing opinion and because Pete is a piece of [ __ ] and I want him to have

  • 10:53

nothing to do with this podcast oh he

  • 10:58

doesn't Pete has a car mm-hmm yeah better this car before what in his car

  • 11:03

before I've driven with Pete before that is that weird yeah friends don't come back oh wait a nickel hold on let me get

  • 11:14

let me get my my [ __ ] together over here what I have to press 1 and 2 I'll be on

  • 11:19

1 & 2 but I don't think is it plugged in all the way where it's yes ok sometimes the case the [ __ ] with it a nickel see

  • 11:26

some is that good enough all right

  • 11:32

that's good enough first 2 5 9 and live words how are you on this beautiful afternoon

  • 11:40

none much I'm here with parks and Rory and Marisa but she's not gonna provide anything so we're talking about the

  • 11:51

fight and I'll just finish telling people I always defer to you because you were like a boxing fanatic you're very

  • 11:58

knowledgeable when it comes to this I'm a little confused and uh Rory brought up

  • 12:04

the same point I want to pick a winner on the fight but politics has me afraid to do that yeah yeah it seems he's

  • 12:35

taking this fight a bit more serious he seems really determined and certainly is preparing well

  • 13:06

that's interesting you he will mmm I

  • 13:48

think my phone is going in now but we get off so we just keep calm do you

  • 13:55

think this fight is to the point where

  • 14:00

it could slow at most people making

  • 14:44

fights and people make them to be such a great technical fighter people can't

  • 14:50

seem to figure it out but when they put pressure on you know you force them that show you

  • 14:55

other car nothing that's a landing on duty fast this footwork training don't

  • 15:01

fight alright so give me your prediction

  • 15:06

well I know you're going with Floyd you go you go with Floyd and what damn it I

  • 15:42

wanted this prediction man oh man don't

  • 15:47

text you horrible man what the [ __ ]

  • 15:54

see why we need a producer on this [ __ ] show look who's arrived oh there is you Joey

  • 16:00

nope and now it's Lenny what's happening here I think it's your phone let me just

  • 16:06

turn my phone off and we'll edit out up all that all staticky [ __ ] oh okay

  • 16:12

now with that Colin what's on there just

  • 16:20

speaks of the people that are in the room speaking of ESPN um bomani Jones are you

  • 16:27

guys familiar with who this man is are you looking at me are you guys familiar the three of you you just

  • 16:33

happen to be right across from me actually Rory is but just answer the question no

  • 16:40

I have no clue so you have no idea why did you say that instead of giving me all this [ __ ] extra [ __ ] of course

  • 16:46

you know no bomani Jones uh for those of you who don't know is the co-host of a

  • 16:54

show called highly questionable with uh dan dan avatar I want to say is his name

  • 17:00

and his father you know you've seen the show before and he seems to be pretty pretty hip

  • 17:08

pop savvy for the most part um very sarcastic very intelligent individual I

  • 17:13

appreciate his humor on Twitter I think it's Twitter handle is a bomani underscore Jones I'm not sure and it's

  • 17:18

not that important for me to check it but he made some interesting comments last week that I would just like to

  • 17:25

discuss about life after death he said that length after death by

  • 17:32

Biggie Smalls for the younger for the younger listeners out there is I want to

  • 17:39

quote him but have my memories bad he said it's one of the most overrated albums of all time I don't think it's

  • 17:51

already because I don't think certainly not the most overrated album of all time great it'll be held as like the best

  • 17:59

ever well let's bring up the tracklist funny there's a double-disc funny like

  • 18:05

everything that's hole up the tracklist but let's not go over it just yet in order to to figure out if this if

  • 18:15

this statement had some type of validity at all I asked myself where is life

  • 18:22

after death rated or Parks may have asked me that and I just [ __ ] burger -

  • 18:29

somebody said where's it rated where is it rated this one that's my question I

  • 18:35

mean we just had to turn it online and it went out what maybe second-to-last

  • 18:42

round or something like that life after death is a classic I mean it's a sweet 16 I think so would the entire room

  • 18:48

agree that it's a classic album yeah how could it not be it's got like six at

  • 18:54

least classic songs that they still play today on it I don't see how you debate

  • 19:02

it classic Peter can help out with this no I don't want Peter to have anything to apologize for

  • 19:07

forever yeah I'm gonna fire him oh I can

  • 19:13

oh I can't beat her oh it was the

  • 19:18

classic so bringing parks in today engineer now it's a classic album so how

  • 19:25

could it be over right you know what let's do some bit let's do play let's provide some backstory here now my

  • 19:32

timeline is a little off in 1991 or 92

  • 19:37

the movie whose demand was released and stupid me for some reason got the

  • 19:44

soundtrack actually was a great soundtrack by the way but that's when I first heard Biggie Smalls party and

  • 19:51

[ __ ] and that was that was like unlike anything I had ever heard from a rapper

  • 19:58

at that time like didn't know how this guy looked just heard like this weird

  • 20:04

voice with gutter rhymes over like a party beat which party and [ __ ] back

  • 20:12

at that time that was a party beat this so I was hyper and I was anticipating

  • 20:18

the album from this guy so now let's meet this up a little bit ready to die comes out classic album we could all

  • 20:24

agree right yes I loved ready to die it was like you know we all know what you

  • 20:30

see did if I had to pick one record and we had this conversation parks and I if I had to pick one record to explain and

  • 20:38

represent hip hop to someone who was totally unfamiliar with hip hop it would be juicy yeah that's my Pig what you

  • 20:46

guys's pick am I still your answer on that yeah it has a lot of elements of what hip hop embodies in one record it's

  • 20:53

definitely top five if not top three hip hop songs of all time to me yeah I don't

  • 20:58

think anybody could be mad at that oh so you're ready to die comes Biggie's the [ __ ] man suicidal thoughts back

  • 21:04

when I wanted to kill myself all I was hooked I was hooked this was amazing then I go away to high school and now

  • 21:13

I'm [ __ ] smoking angel dust and I'm doing all types of wild [ __ ] who shot you

  • 21:18

oh my [ __ ] goodness gracious piggies just the build-up and I don't wanna call

  • 21:24

it a build-up but he just seemed to do everything right up until life after

  • 21:30

death like there was no down period at all like New York was his hip-hop was his oh

  • 21:38

my god and then before who shot yeah I think I want to say and this is where my timeline gets a little funny I wasn't

  • 21:45

the biggest one more chance guy album

  • 21:51

version no not album rate I love the album version but they put out they put out one with a parent parent parent parent

  • 21:58

and one the biggest fan of that but then then what I thought big he could do

  • 22:04

nothing else amazing when I thought he couldn't do anything greater than what he had already done what does he do he

  • 22:10

puts out a [ __ ] vid changes the B faces on the hook every famous person's

  • 22:17

in the video they're in a brownstone in Brooklyn oh my god this guy's the

  • 22:22

[ __ ] greatest i watch that video million times i went searching for the single and you couldn't get it you could

  • 22:29

buy it nowhere it was a hit before you could buy it this is before I told a friend of

  • 22:35

    that [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] so this video was in heavy rotation this song was in heavy rotation and you couldn't [ __ ] get it

  • 22:42

oh I thought it was genius um I forgot how I got it it eventually got eventually careless a

  • 22:48

title maybe you taped it on the radio oh we got to get in j2o Jake doe that damn

  • 22:54

Jake oh so yeah back to my point biggie just seemed to do everything right up until life after death um he put out on

  • 23:02

that freestyle I still play to this day uh you know what a [ __ ] murder was the case in the [ __ ] love I'm having

  • 23:09

a brain fart right now but I don't somebody said that in an honest person I

  • 23:15

want Pete to have nothing to do this show but yeah rulings do real things and in life after death comes and you know

  • 23:21

it's in the midst of the whole big epoch [ __ ] it was a bunch of POC just disses

  • 23:27

in there um and outside of Biggie's man Jermaine that was the only problem that

  • 23:32

    I had with life after death Biggie's men that uh [ __ ] [ __ ] over - ass and throw

  • 23:37

mo [ __ ] [ __ ] an ass and from um no that was gutter yeah Jemaine Oh

  • 23:44

    [ __ ] man dude doing dark-skinned Jemaine wait

  • 23:49

Oh gutter I want to stay far away from gutter I don't ever want to meet him I wouldn't particularly want to hang out with yeah I know yeah I don't even want

  • 23:55

to talk about that let me just shut up right now for gonna [ __ ] bust in this room it's

  • 24:00

not wildly but uh that was my only problem with that album like I even like

  • 24:07

dog play haters at the time yeah so that's just to give the younger

  • 24:13

people some point of reference as to what was going on then and I think that

  • 24:19

album aged pretty well ready to die not so much for me personally um there's

  • 24:25

quite a few records on ready to die that there's only a couple of spoons but no no I listen to them but they sound like

  • 24:34

94 yeah interesting okay life after

  • 24:40

death now I could put what's be falling right now door he'd still turn out how

  • 24:49

the trailers all right it's a double disc so don't be a second oh just shut

  • 24:56

up somebody's got to die oh my god everybody knows somebody who's got to

  • 25:03

die hypnotize classic record still plays

  • 25:15

yep kicking the door classic record [ __ ] you tonight still please I sure

  • 25:21

hope I'm [ __ ] somebody tonight I think it's all relevant last days with the locks oh yeah let me just say the

  • 25:29

the bootleg life after death one at the bula it leaked early when it came out

  • 25:37

huh zippy sure there was no to be sure there was no audio man and it was a

  • 25:42

there was a harder version of last days on that particularly k-- yeah it was

  • 25:49

hard it was I'm telling you that I'm saying this for effect Oh yeah yeah I know it's hard they kind of

  • 25:54

changed the beat up a little bit I'll change the order but whatever that was a hard version of Jersey City hands cuz

  • 26:01

that was back when uh you know Jersey City [ __ ] would take [ __ ] every Alka hey this there was a story about that

  • 26:07

actually a cool story about the life after death leak cuz clue leaked those records hmm yeah I wish you call clue

  • 26:16

these parts were scared to talk about it

  • 26:25

I love the dough which i think is a very underrated record with jay-z

  • 26:30

you know I played that record the other day and it felt good to hear Jay rhyme over and over that style of beat well

  • 26:37

she didn't particularly do yeah a long time since reptillus yeah definitely definitely definitely anybody did what's

  • 26:43

beef I love it well money more problems classic and let

  • 26:48

me just tip my hat to push your tea who you know I normally tell people to stay away from classic records but that uh

  • 26:55

push it this way dream yeah the over the ones be friends oh my god

  • 27:01

Oh whenever I could came out Oh slaughterhouse was on tour we wanted to dis somebody that record was [ __ ]

  • 27:09

that's a great [ __ ] wreck of anyway the word Marissa parks I and Peter cannot say bleed oh the word we can't

  • 27:23

say oh you guys I got a store detail well it's here no no that's that's the

  • 27:29

name of this one that's that's great you can't over eat that well let's get a

  • 27:39

quick rundown of this to notorious thugs oh my god miss you

  • 27:46

classic reflective biggie Trek I could do without much in that I like to shoot

  • 27:51

that might be the first yeah I can do it at it but I get it I like it cagey

  • 27:57

another and then hear that Peter

  • 28:05

what's the next one another will okay oh yeah okay going back to Cali classic ten

  • 28:12

crack commandments classic yeah player-hater to me yeah me too

  • 28:18

I'm that's giving it nasty boy oh [ __ ] sky's the limit which track definitely

  • 28:27

it's out five big drag all time yeah I agree the world is filled with puppets we saw him Oh

  • 28:34

adding to shorts of that was my downfall yeah long kiss goodnight nobody Jones

  • 28:43

yeah to me is like the first couple I

  • 28:49

thought it was a whole we RZA and biggie yeah at the time and one of my personal

  • 28:56

favorite biggie songs you're nobody till somebody kills you that is not an overrated album at all it's poor Monty

  • 29:03

Jones you have to stop trolling bro like I get that people sometimes say things

  • 29:08

just for the headline but I don't think he was doing I think he believed that like he went on a long rape he's just

  • 29:15

one of those wu-tang boot camp heads that really was so anti bad boy that it clouded his judgment he was but I know

  • 29:23

so many guys that are booty boot camp guys that I can appreciate

  • 29:30

I was one of those guys but I still love ya guys parks is [ __ ] backpack city I

  • 29:37

mean like this guy here probably I'd like a room just full of backpacks like

  • 29:42

    he's a purist don't you try to talk to oh he [ __ ] hates you [ __ ] of you

  • 29:48

uh whippersnappers out there you parks 31 but it's it's different you know it's

  • 29:56

it's a different I mean I meet like Peters more of a backpedal no no we

  • 30:08

already got him out of here peep peep let's have a literate really quickly if I can undo microphone no I don't even

  • 30:15

really want you to respond all right let's have a heart you have been absent

  • 30:23

from this show Marisa for how many weeks I want to say only the last two that's not true that's

  • 30:30

incorrect including a family death last week and out of town the week before oh and then

  • 30:37

your what the kids the week before that I am for the children mmm how many weeks so we've never been missing that's three

  • 30:44

on a row three in a row no how are you saying four he has been going for four

  • 30:56

the last episode he was here was Alma no no no no no but he's been going for four

  • 31:02

weeks that's a month seven I think he missed eight nine and ten he missed four

  • 31:07

no I didn't there's no chance I miss 4 that is a [ __ ] lie actually he was here for eight wasn't a hip hop combo yes I was in that episode

  • 31:14

all right so he missed seven nine and ten I don't know that eight was the hip hop chrome it was it was it was the most heralded episode of all time he missed

  • 31:21

he was here for that but he missed a week before that's why I feels it for is he didn't really talk that we'd either well he did but my point still stands uh

  • 31:31

you know you're not doing a very good job at producing this podcast I disagree

  • 31:36

with you orderly this podcast is doing fantastically it thanks none to you know

  • 31:43

at all no you have no heart to heart your but I mean the people can just what

  • 31:48

they want to hear and argument back and forth while you didn't argue back with combat jack don't argue back with me Oh

  • 31:55

no no I'm just making a valid point he gets to run around and say what everyone's you don't say a [ __ ] word

  • 32:00

back now I why do you I respect you for weeks Mallett 3 or 2 for weeks how many weeks

  • 32:08

you've been going yet I've I've heard you I was listening to 98.7 ESPN talk

  • 32:14

radio I heard you I heard you this week yes on Saturday then I saw you like

  • 32:22

you've been on a tour seems like I'm seeing you and heard you everywhere but

  • 32:29

the podcast that you air quotes produce there's been that one guest on this

  • 32:35

[ __ ] show but besides Alma my [ __ ] sixth grade crush who I never could have

  • 32:40

taught by the way so are you having a when did to atop it Polly I worked very

  • 32:45

hard this way I'm not gonna lie to you I want to get into the kitchen is your Joe I know because I'm right no no no Anjou

  • 32:50

no no have it bit here there hasn't been a guest I went very hard this week for two high-level guests and both should have

  • 32:57

happened and neither did and that's a shitty situation but I went about like a series of email I did more work on a

  • 33:03

guest this week then you've had to do outside of the show in ten weeks I failed but I put in work he did and I

  • 33:17

okay I come from the school of results or excuses you've yielded no results that's

  • 33:23

not true Joe so then show me some okay the podcast we have a guest for next week of the where's that be it is that's

  • 33:31

my [ __ ] point we need have a conversation which is a good format for a good form for of what your

  • 33:38

expectations of producer are no no no no no no no see this is weird

  • 33:43

no no no you're not gonna know if the producer does Joe not a record producer a radio producer you were myself

  • 33:50

well you're adding credence to my argument I am because before our

  • 33:56

conversation that we had prior to this podcast taking place and now this is dis heart our lasting too long on my [ __ ]

  • 34:01

podcast but when we had our heart our prior to this podcast being birthed I thought that you knew

  • 34:09

    quite a bit about producing mm-hmm you haven't produced [ __ ] I don't you gave me an engineer which I already have he's

  • 34:16

right here Parkes that's my engineer I can do this [ __ ] in my [ __ ] studio without you and then I'll have to see rosenburg radio at the bottom of the

  • 34:22

[ __ ] [ __ ] everybody if you want if you're more comfortable removing the Rosenberg Radio feel no I'm more comfortable with a producer producing it

  • 34:29

if you're not going to do that then let's get somebody on the job that will do you just mean show Booker that's a separate job what is producing let's get

  • 34:36

a clearer understanding here okay producing is this I and have you done it I see Joe Budden Joe Budden says I've

  • 34:44

been about doing a podcast I go Joe Budden you should do a podcast to be amazing at that is that producing no so

  • 34:49

no why we talk about that just cuz we what a producer does well sets up the infrastructure of the entire show vest a

  • 34:55

neset Munson that's a pretty big start that's a pretty big start how would you avoid in a room with two microphones in

  • 35:02

a [ __ ] engineer what are you talking about who is the person here who knew how to set up the relationship with

  • 35:07

iTunes and SoundCloud to connect those things and have a podcast that's now highly ranked in music so listen there's less be [ __ ] clear first of all Juan

  • 35:14

Epstein is retired fall and since the purpose is y'all do one episode of [ __ ] year we do one a week that's though oh and more [ __ ] creative to

  • 35:21

my argument you're very much present for Europe not just last week I was a miss last week as well oh by the way again

  • 35:27

for the world of human beings I had a death in the family that's why I was gone last week you could you can't

  • 35:33

use last week you can only use the other two we know for a funeral I miss radio

  • 35:38

for three days that's not reasonable I you know you're a good arguer that's not a reasonable point to argue you've

  • 35:44

been gone for three weeks okay said the other two weeks will count one was in Los Angeles doing argue that a funeral

  • 35:51

thing but I'm not so listeners out there

  • 35:57

just so we have a clear understanding because I don't want to drag this out any lines kind of entertaining problem uh Pete is a producer because he set up

  • 36:07

the infrastructure and SoundCloud with N iTunes that's a piece of it and a studio

  • 36:15

I thought you wanted a studio to be at to do the show I know you want a studio one of the trouble parks every week to do so we already do enough [ __ ] with

  • 36:22

Joe button every day but we'd have a different place for you this friend of mine is a great engineer he's a fantastic engine time I'm one of

  • 36:29

all time in refute you didn't if you didn't have a good response to my you can't completely take away the set up of

  • 36:35

the infrastructure of the show that is a reasonable and legitimate claim to production yo anybody in the [ __ ]

  • 36:42

universe can set up SoundCloud and [ __ ] iTunes no but not not drip not set up the connection between the two

  • 36:49

so the podcasting this is a shame that this is what you want credit for funding well so tell me this is bad

  • 36:54

who are the six of us the fact that you are sitting here [ __ ] uh we would

  • 36:59

have done it of the seven people here would have done it because those are the only people in the universe anyway those are the only people in the world and the

  • 37:05

seven people I saw the audience that you have also said quote you know you know tons of people but you're not asking any

  • 37:11

of them to be on your show yourself of course I don't back down for my that's dumb Ted Danson that's my bar I stand

  • 37:17

    behind it okay yeah but I don't do a bit of [ __ ] bar Pete on your [ __ ] [ __ ]

  • 37:25

this is my problem with you this is mine and combat Jack's problems you don't own your [ __ ] [ __ ] how could you tie these things together okay because you

  • 37:31

don't own your shoe I wrote you are dead not in this instance you're not producing [ __ ] I disagree and me and

  • 37:38

Marissa are here every week slavery I believe me you're going to [ __ ] studio slaving pro bono while you're

  • 37:45

[ __ ] tweeting your dick or ESPN talk about [ __ ] sports those things are

  • 37:50

not related at their relay they're related when I relate them okay fine how about this they're related to me when

  • 37:56

I'm when I'm in my [ __ ] car comes coming from the Guardia Airport eternal rain here [ __ ] Peter Rosenberg why my

  • 38:01

list for the Peter Rosenberg in my phone car I've been looking for her for weeks oh that's not a family can't see him for

  • 38:06

three months like blood that damn I'm not rolling okay not except can I give you an admission you're right you wanted

  • 38:14

me to help you get guests I haven't gotten you guessed yet you're right then after that's a failure on my part that's a failure of my partner finally

  • 38:21

but that's not doing nothing for the whole [ __ ] show Joe you got one notch further you say I do nothing no I have

  • 38:27

not delivered on the guests which I told you I would that's a failure but the show itself is off

  • 38:32

pretty good start I think everyone say this is building nice I think for the show to get where it needs to be now

  • 38:39

we're getting some good needs all participants to exhaust all they can

  • 38:45

okay and you angry have not have not exhausted all you know that exhausted

  • 38:51

[ __ ] no I've exhausted something but not agree to disagree but you're right okay well guess what how about I take your

  • 38:56

challenge and but you have to be clear what you really want the most of from me is guest booking that is what just say

  • 39:04

that is that what you want the most I also want you to be present but that is you haven't been but that's all my only semi relevant compared to in my opinion

  • 39:10

once this thing because you asked me for my opinion oh um can I get one sure yeah

  • 39:18

    don't [ __ ] sit there seven alliances you [ __ ] got a beef with this [ __ ]

  • 39:23

too when you see me all [ __ ] quiet people be too much I want you to get us guys okay and I've discussed that with

  • 39:29

you by myself I'm on this podcast all of those things hate to make it uncomfortable in the room no that was

  • 39:34

great job please it's amazing by the way we all went through the arm episode uncomfortable is amazing on this you have no interest in calling bomani Jones

  • 39:40

about this argument that's not producing he gave me the phone number I have it right now we can get them on the show this second you were talking about we're

  • 39:45

gonna call him right now why not can't call from my phone he's excited

  • 39:58

come on Jones order right here in your

  • 40:09

seats I'm still really sad because the two potential do me a favor telling me about

  • 40:15

the [ __ ] potential guests that we have don't worry about potential I'm depressed about it but if you when you do nothing with it this [ __ ] it is then

  • 40:22

crazy that yeah yeah you don't say yeah are we calling this guy to the court even though I don't I thought we were

  • 40:28

all for a life after death thing but I'd love to hear his take I just want to hear why he thinks it's all Rita I have to tell you when you guys broke it down

  • 40:34

just that it did seem to be a pretty unreasonable claims that really a stupid oh by the way Cyprus Kia

  • 40:40

cipher sounds puts uh don't know plug your one if time one every your brother we don't wanna hear about what safe is

  • 40:46

doing we'd only about what you do and only about your [ __ ] sports sure we don't want to be out your [ __ ] songs really a song you made about Duke we

  • 40:53

    don't yet [ __ ] guest guess he doesn't

  • 41:01

count we already had our first guess now it's Royce shout out to Royce who I got by the way

  • 41:06

yep oh these guys guess so this is great

  • 41:15

is it going straight to voicemail what I would do the machine come on oh I'll go to blast bomani now take your Oreo

  • 41:29

Jersey go far away Orioles Jersey and Orioles games of [ __ ] cancel that's [ __ ] amazing

  • 41:35

postponed jay-z right title is how you

  • 41:41

pronounce it now there's been all types of [ __ ] reports and articles

  • 41:46

circulating about the failure of title now parks and I talk I make it seem like

  • 41:54

parks than I talked about right and parks is of the man what parks is here he he said that it may be a little too

  • 42:01

early to call it but that's this

  • 42:09

generation everybody wants that right now in Socrative vacation well he has in

  • 42:16

the past see that information was a bit misleading that they have the recorder of a million subscribers it's a little

  • 42:25

bit around longer than a month because Daisy took it over he purchased it yeah with five hundred and fifty million

  • 42:31

subscribers okay well so that part is a bit misleading um for something that you

  • 42:46

did not market very well yes still dot now that's a check I think he even admitted that they're like you know

  • 42:52

they're growing and a fun idea but saying that we're growing and saying we marketed just all wrong I can't hurt two

  • 42:58

different things I was happy to see that even the almighty jay-z is not human I

  • 43:05

was happy to see that even he has to tweet through it sometimes the man like

  • 43:14

let's be clear and on a Sunday afternoon

  • 43:30

but I think I think one of the main reasons that people are speak so

  • 43:37

negatively about title and all that's been happening since it's as jay-z purchased it is that this is the first

  • 43:45

time that both Spotify and Pandora have simultaneously held spots and the top

  • 43:51

four app category like their 3 and 4 respectively together and I guess in

  • 43:59

that world and you I don't I don't claim to be uh this for this to be my ear expertise but I guess that was like

  • 44:06

unheralded unfuckin charted territory like the guy candy crush out of here

  • 44:11

that's a big feat um I think the free concerts with Kohl was great yeah I want

  • 44:18

to see more of that that could turn into a festival I think that was great did

  • 44:25

anybody see it I saw yeah I watched

  • 44:30

    Elliot's timeline

  • 44:37

bro it takes more than to get me my very strong feelings about title then I'd

  • 44:43

like to express you and see your thoughts its title and I don't mean to go home

  • 44:48

art as I tried to avoid on the road Oh make more enemies for this spot I don't know yours it is it is the most

  • 44:55

ridiculous [ __ ] in the world the idea that you are charging 25 dollars every

  • 45:01

1/2 times like for the best version for the version that they say look and the show button voice the quality that I

  • 45:07

need that's what they say this lets me play devil's advocate here because their lower their lower quality version is

  • 45:14

still said to be a better version better enough just as a consumer to make me

  • 45:21

want to leave the one I've been with for three years and spend ten dollars a month I don't even think about it they have everything I need and want if

  • 45:27

that's my problem they'd market and this is why he said he [ __ ] up cuz he knows he did they marketed it on this concept of help the

  • 45:34

artists that's all the [ __ ] consumers care about you show me a press conference with 50 rich people including

  • 45:41

Madonna sit around being help us know help the [ __ ] consumer they got it completely fundamentally wrong and

  • 45:47

you're charging even at the lower price point double what my Spotify account yes

  • 45:54

there's a Levin dollar version I went on the app in a Nazi a 999 version change

  • 46:02

it did they change that they just attend that's updated okay when I first went on it was 1999 or $24.99 and I said it

  • 46:10

James I said a big [ __ ] you the second I looked at that well we had similar feelings when it first came out we

  • 46:15

talked about on the podcast me and we have some other feelings but I don't think that's to say that it's done for

  • 46:22

its way than 30 days it's why what why what are you offering that's better

  • 46:29

why did you jump into a crowded space that's old this is already a space that's 5 6 years old the people in doing

  • 46:34

it why did you jump in besides the fact that you don't believe artists are getting enough no and you're not even

  • 46:39

focusing on young artists who are making money you're focusing on 50 rich artists who already make a shitload of money that's not it that's not it because Jay

  • 46:46

has these artists together and they have stake in this which means they can do things like J Cole's concert if necessarily

  • 46:53

mean artists hey pay us we don't get paid enough together its to say hey we're all together and we can offer you

  • 47:00

guys way more than a spot of them Spotify or Pandora can do what can what can they offer me a random Jay Cole con

  • 47:05

so that I'm not gonna go to exclusive music video that it's gonna go online

  • 47:12

anyway a week later I'm still gonna say yeah exactly you guys are you guys are in denial about what people use their

  • 47:17

streaming services for this is for the [ __ ] gym people want to work out here the music man they're not trying to see a boxing event on title [ __ ] I know

  • 47:25

and I will say it it's extremely difficult to have exclusive content on all things I know are gonna see that

  • 47:34

Jay Cole concert on worldstar a day later and they said oh please for the

  • 47:39

American oxygen I'm saying to go tear expand that significantly that's

  • 47:45

obviously a baby step in what it could be I agree why are you saying they're gonna offer you know he did name subscribers for a

  • 47:54

made in America type style concert with every artist that was on that stage and you had to pay $20 to get involved in

  • 48:02

this community and you could go to that concert for free is that not enticing is that what they're doing it's like no but it seems

  • 48:08

to be that that's the stuff that they're taking well you know what it's so early of course that's not what they're doing

  • 48:13

but this is what they could do while these artists seem to be very United currently I need to see how

  • 48:21

United they will be when when the firestorm begins to happen and when I say that I mean iTunes is going to

  • 48:30

retaliate of course um Spotify pin well really iTunes for real

  • 48:36

because uh I don't know that all of these artists are are prepared to just

  • 48:42

not need any services from iTunes and yet that is what I think I think Spotify

  • 48:50

is more their direct competition well anybody that works with a direct competition they're gonna be taken out

  • 48:56

of the banner ads and all that [ __ ] so it's about to as Joe alluded to do you know something already yeah

  • 49:05

that's a huge huge thing whether it works we don't know but it will create direct compounds pretty cool and on top

  • 49:11

of that you know Jay has his deal with Samsung and I've read this in one of the articles apparently and and this is just

  • 49:18

the type of the type of games that you have to be prepared for when you get into this type of war apparently Apple

  • 49:25

delayed the download for title to iPhone

  • 49:35

approved to approve the app in the App Store that's what the problem exactly like so and then they also said that

  • 49:41

they screwed up Rihanna's things too oh yeah yes I mean he's definitely jumping into a pool sharks yes we would like but

  • 49:52

Apple's honest I feel like they're on this myth behind the smear campaign what he tweeted there yeah he tweeted that uh

  • 49:59

there was some ear campaigns being ran against them but I mean that's what supposed to be happening and there's a

  • 50:05

lot of players who have [ __ ] power oh yeah beats playing on it yeah hey I mean

  • 50:13

I I commend them for even giving it to punchers try I to I'm not gonna say that

  • 50:18

it's over it's enough it's an uphill battle

  • 50:27

money it doesn't look like there's any potential to make money he'll walk away from it absolutely interesting conversation to add to this

  • 50:33

what has jay-z come out with cuz I said in the room the other day I was like listen jay-z's marketing genius and

  • 50:38

someone in the room goes is he right so my question is what has Jay done outside of his own music that

  • 50:45

really was a monster success Rocko we're

  • 50:51

in Rockefeller that's mostly damn rock rock where was a well I wasn't in the office so I can't say but I was a

  • 50:57

partner in it so I'm gonna give him some credit for that yeah sure and it was pretty successful for a run

  • 51:03

yeah well made some money for sure still around it's still afloat yeah um it

  • 51:10

wasn't other artists music wasn't particularly a huge you know success boyfriend Armidale didn't really know was

  • 51:17

Dean and that was on on a lower scale of the 40/40 club's yester what were pretty

  • 51:22

popular when he marketed them as the cool spot to be it and the one in New York still is legit yeah it's does events I haven't been any

  • 51:33

success do say that is yes do so well okay I think he's just a name behind it

  • 51:41

you know Memphis Bleek is a brand ambassador there we go it's

  • 51:46

    self-adjusting Samsung did it increase

  • 51:54

was innovative it failed miserably very it was cool but what did it really blew

  • 52:01

it like the app crashed and the people that got the album I forgot how it worked but that it wasn't from the app

  • 52:08

yeah I got the leak right when it went yeah I'm gonna give him marketing credit

  • 52:14

for the nets I'm not giving him the ownership that he owns the Nets that perception but to market the Nets they became pretty

  • 52:21

popular watch cooler brand than they were way cooler I mean here's a lot of

  • 52:29

layups nobody trended I can't really just slapped his name on that like I feel like title is a different it's like a

  • 52:35

concept where I'll tell you where he is impressing me um Roc Nation sports he's

  • 52:42

got a lot of he's got a lot of getting

  • 52:48

them great deals kind of they are doing something good yeah he's given kind of like title today I'm not sure how you

  • 52:54

pronounce it but you know title he came in that game and Scott Boras and the rest of those guys wanted him to [ __ ]

  • 53:00

out of here um yeah and and he's signing oh they were yeah they really were

  • 53:05

trying to get in the very beginning yeah that's why you had to give up his small percentage of the Nets but no I think he

  • 53:13

actually is doing really good then you brought pick us over I think that was a good move I think

  • 53:23

why is that why is that tell us why relationships - and I just

  • 53:29

think it I think that they're actually I got this front row at every big basketball what does he call them Woody

  • 53:35

Harrelson so yeah I don't know that what he calls and Peck house is my guy but I

  • 53:49

think that's great not get the [ __ ] off super nice guy yeah one day when I really want to retire and don't care

  • 53:55

about music at all I'm just gonna do like [ __ ] current Stephan's I'm gonna just start exposing all these [ __ ]

  • 54:02

that have been robbing the [ __ ] industry for so many years making before just randomly dropping Peck ass is a

  • 54:08

nice guy that guys is my guy I know well

  • 54:14

he just runs around helping guys can [ __ ] stop the [ __ ] out of you in a

  • 54:23

house is my guy it's just hard for me to view him as the stunt master because I'm [ __ ] you know Kaiser brought me into

  • 54:29

this [ __ ] game and cut Kaiser is [ __ ] yeah exactly yeah if it's little

  • 54:35

you don't know Kaiser is just an important man he's spent a lot they're the two random dudes who at like the

  • 54:42

all-star game have v-sit the two best seats in the house and you're like who are these two random dudes they keep

  • 54:47

showing that's Kaiser Rebecca everybody knows I don't know a little bro is that

  • 54:59

a yes no but Monty's doing his radio

  • 55:05

show till 2:30 sorry apologist if people what are you here for anyway oh I'm so confused I

  • 55:13

don't understand yeah so it might be over for right check this out I was trying to figure out who it might be

  • 55:19

over for we don't want to hear about who emailed you or I will care about your

  • 55:25

personal [ __ ] him it wasn't a personal it was from Twitter a family don't shout out a fan of the podcast who emailed you randomly and didn't have

  • 55:31

them people emailing like we don't need to shout everyone out damn it have snots uh produced by mean it's actually not a bad

  • 55:36

day I had people who were into the podcast which I was gonna announce after I was that some kid emailed me okay well

  • 55:47

before we do is it Oh before I made a gmail account I'll name this podcast later gmail.com for people to write in

  • 55:53

to us don't send us music you'll be reported as spam be wasting your time don't troll cuz I just taking time out of your day and I'm just gonna delete it

  • 55:59

but if you want some advice from how this intelligent group of people so smart right into us and we will out pick

  • 56:07

three maybe and we will discuss it and make a segment out of the podcast maybe every other week or when we feel like it

  • 56:12

yeah check this out I am a school

  • 56:18

dropout I left in the tenth grade I'm not the smartest person in the room but fact what's producing what do you

  • 56:26

[ __ ] know worry thank you for producing some [ __ ] while Peter tries to get behind Joe's on the

  • 56:31

phone to talk about a topic that we closed 40 minutes ago and he didn't even answer this [ __ ] [ __ ] what is Peter

  • 56:37

here for at the time don't put Rosenberg radio at the bottom of my [ __ ] away to God Oh [ __ ] this podcast will be canceled

  • 56:44

forever I don't want to see Rosenberg radio in that [ __ ] artworks oh I have an idea for work now I don't want to see

  • 56:50

I swam boycott this [ __ ] Rory bird radio

  • 56:59

I have an idea for art work by the way oh yeah here we go there we go oh is it

  • 57:12

    her awkwardly standing behind

  • 57:18

you got called in and there was nothing else to follow up on so you just had to

  • 57:23

go away so weird I like we were

  • 57:30

interviewing him when people look at the picture well it was safe to assume that you look a little birdie no I was to

  • 57:37

answer my question doesn't look like it here well the fans will look at it they'll see the picture I was thinking about it might be over

  • 57:46

for right and I'm so Petty huh penny next door here comes Patti next door

  • 57:51

Hedy Kruger and I was remembering I was remembering when we did it might be over

  • 57:58

for uh Makonnen right uh-huh we were right and killed on Twitter and I don't

  • 58:14

even I don't even hear anybody going up on Tuesdays before nope no never it was even at one point kind

  • 58:20

of cool to like [ __ ] with him now it's not even like you're not it's not even bears over yeah it's over it's over for

  • 58:25

the people that even like him so much for everyone involved in MOOC um yeah sorry it's over high jinks are do you have it might be over nope I do oh let's

  • 58:44

not argue okay today I opened up my news app and it said that the MTA could go up

  • 58:52

to 310 what so if they don't get in line

  • 58:58

with the politicians in New York and they don't pay for the rest of this 32 billion dollar project they're trying to

  • 59:04

do they're going to raise the tolls and raise the fare to 310 the tolls are if y'all don't get this [ __ ] together I'm

  • 59:11

    done with MTA I will [ __ ] hell or if the [ __ ] block

  • 59:35

so if it goes up to 310 what is it male 5 oh you [ __ ] so $14 now whatever I

  • 59:47

was about 35 cent if it goes up and I'm

  • 59:53

still getting delayed Express trains tracks are down what you gonna do about it what you gonna do Rory wants Starbucks

  • 1:00:00

and plasmas no I want the train to [ __ ] run on Simon jazz music penny you can't lower the service and raise

  • 1:00:06

the fare oh yes New Yorkers I haven't taken the

  • 1:00:20

train this is for the working class like

  • 1:00:27

what bad time I took the train there were tokens well if you keep if you don't change it to dollar I ride a train are you frustrated a

  • 1:00:38

little bit yeah but I've had enough what are we gonna do all right we'll go [ __ ] boycott ma the revolution will

  • 1:00:46

not be televised all right what you try

  • 1:00:53

to kick knowledge Pete stop trying to be funny oh yeah and you got your [ __ ]

  • 1:01:02

why is [ __ ] cypher here we're all we're doing a podcast after your podcasts okay after twice Oh

  • 1:01:08

gwenlyn gas is here no one knows who grabs I can I know she's wonderful you like to name-drop name-dropped it people

  • 1:01:18

that these people don't know well so so

  • 1:01:23

it's safe to some listeners that Pete could be here currently because he has

  • 1:01:28

to do his podcast after this you can argue but I would've been here anyway

  • 1:01:34

it's a ninja you know why cuz there wasn't a death of my family I wasn't traveling and that's why I'm here yo I am gonna say this at

  • 1:01:42

the expense of him risk of sounding like a [ __ ] total dick no not you know

  • 1:01:50

people died three days later we know the funeral the wake and the funeral we know

  • 1:01:56

the information and you're white so if the person that passed away god bless her soul is white I'm assuming it was

  • 1:02:02

done properly round I'd have to chip his

  • 1:02:11

body to South Carolina it took a month we was like I don't think white people are going through that so you because

  • 1:02:20

y'all had this [ __ ] untimely death there was just that one week who's just one week it was going three and I I'm

  • 1:02:26

only taking one away from though that's not true because the first week and I had the group text to prove what I'm saying okay no you said guys can't make

  • 1:02:34

it family sick and I said okay family sick that's valid then the next week yo

  • 1:02:41

he died that's two weeks you're right while you keep trying to make it one

  • 1:02:47

week I'd underlies that you're right it is two weeks but now that just made you more of an [ __ ] I think

  • 1:02:52

well thanks so much both legitimate I swear to God why would I why won't I come to the first seven but you know

  • 1:02:57

what [ __ ] this podcast why would I do that no no no I'm not saying that you lied about the death in your family and

  • 1:03:04

believe me I have a heart so I do care but I just find it very [ __ ] very

  • 1:03:12

weird that this was the only engagement that you ever missed outside of your

  • 1:03:18

three [ __ ] love there's your three times the show I missed my main job for

  • 1:03:24

three days you missed it okay not three week but I'm not gonna bore you and explain that exact I know what you to

  • 1:03:29

explain is what I'm just want the listener to be clear and recognize [ __ ] when you're in that [ __ ]

  • 1:03:35

that someone passed we don't qualify I know you're not saying you don't care about okay okay so let me tell you why

  • 1:03:48

I'm getting sick because [ __ ] BAE right real quick no you weren't here but

  • 1:03:58

anyway BAE comes over can't breathe out her [ __ ] nose she looks sick as [ __ ] I my

  • 1:04:04

fam don't it don't touch me don't kiss me where's well I don't need to get sick I rap I got a record and a voice and now

  • 1:04:14

I'm [ __ ] sick so my nose is [ __ ] up everything is [ __ ] up right I know until then BAE comes over and

  • 1:04:19

    says oh you're sick true man I didn't do it because I'm not sick at all I'm [ __ ] [ __ ] yeah I hate what

  • 1:04:25

let me do that hate it hate it hate it the most interesting part of that story was that and maybe you guys already know

  • 1:04:30

this and I apologize if I missed it but that when you did an impression of BAE she didn't have a Spanish accent

  • 1:04:38

always I have to me I'm gonna just show

  • 1:04:50

up one day you won't be lit it babes wonderful for Joe's amusement here you go yesterday I saw Machine Gun Kelly is

  • 1:04:58

Machine Gun Kelly dating amber Oh mr. weeks I don't think that that's

  • 1:05:04

happening but it's happening I saw your two posts no no I saw him and I saw them hugged up but I've seen amber

  • 1:05:10

be hugged up with people that doesn't tell me that they're dating taken Leigh Rosenberg you know I was I was on a date with them last night their double date

  • 1:05:17

they're there but they're doing something I'm not saying they're together but they were out together I think that people should be allowed to

  • 1:05:22

be out together hundreds at and/or [ __ ] one another without the rest of the world making them a couple yeah I agree

  • 1:05:28

with you have not harmed us at all right but when when I was hanging out last night I was telling amber that she

  • 1:05:34

should come on the Joe Budden podcast then in doing so I started talking about Marissa Mendez now crazy she is right so

  • 1:05:40

MGK who knows her jumps in we both started talking about how crazy but lovable this Marissa Mendez is and how

  • 1:05:47

does Machine Gun Kelly know that you show up everywhere tied Alison how does

  • 1:05:55

even MGK know he's like Oh ty dolla sign oh sweet I'm at Roscoe's and she'll show

  • 1:06:01

up at Rio never done that in my life never know I've never know I've actually been at Roscoe's and he's walked into

  • 1:06:07

Roscoe's first of all let me be clear people

  • 1:06:13

don't have that much shouldn't be able to say I put that on everything he's not

  • 1:06:24

a tweeter like that he just he's one of those generic like hey check out my Pepsi he doesn't like oh I'm in the

  • 1:06:30

studio today no I know everyone know

  • 1:06:51

your [ __ ] daddy Bert but uh oh you're still shaking it's okay we still didn't

  • 1:06:57

finish uh it might be a before do you have one Parkes I thought you might have a sports one this week job uh there's a

  • 1:07:03

lot of sports this week you know what man yeah yeah and I hate to do this again oh we got to go but uh huh ma'am

  • 1:07:10

just mixed together I just keep I keep bashing ESPN and I love USP it you know what what bothers

  • 1:07:17

me well one of the many things that seems to bother me so get people on ESPN

  • 1:07:23

their vent their viewpoint on certain things is as white as it can possibly be

  • 1:07:31

now Kevin Love Kevin Love Kelly homina homina long lick whatever

  • 1:07:37

his name is y'all saw it well if you didn't see the game eh both died before loose ball Kelly [ __ ] puts them in a Rhonda

  • 1:07:45

Rousey wrestling and dislocates his arm and and this is why [ __ ] wit Mike the

  • 1:07:51

first Mike from Mike and Mike not on the football player Oh Mike um the one real er yep uh it's a green burnt down the

  • 1:07:56

one greenberg golic yeah yeah no no no I like rebirth III Burke is an amazing radio person ah but I'm sorry that's

  • 1:08:03

your competition but he's great no no what he brought told me it was Jason

  • 1:08:10

many people on ESPN said that this was a

  • 1:08:16

basketball player yes said that they both were diving for the ball heat at

  • 1:08:23

the moment and it's a freak accident Kelly Olynyk lost commish dating back

  • 1:08:30

this college degree only has one technical foul not a dirty player his reputation is squeaky clean so he's he's

  • 1:08:36

beyond trying to do a dirty play to Kevin Love

  • 1:08:41

even though this series has been scrappy the entire time and game was particularly nasty only that game was

  • 1:08:47

much worse than the series but I mean they've been scrappy it's been a physical F that's the wrestling wolf I'm

  • 1:08:53

a Celtics fan that was a blatant clear attempt to hurt to mess I'm not saying

  • 1:08:59

injure him but hurt him 100% 100% and I just it just baffles me that some of the

  • 1:09:06

people on ESPN can't even imagine that that would be a possibility because this

  • 1:09:12

guy has a one technical foul throughout his entire well it also got I think I got the JR Smith foul looked so bad that

  • 1:09:20

it ended up overshadowing it he basically knocked him out he basically landed a backwards knockout punch which

  • 1:09:25

I've never seen that you and you know what my thing is with that all right so so they injured Kevin Love immediately

  • 1:09:32

when it happens he runs straight to the locker room not even to the bench he doesn't say anything to anybody he's you know he felt it pop he's in a locker

  • 1:09:39

room right now you send in the enforcer here comes Kendrick Perkins that's what

  • 1:09:44

they signed him for not even two minutes into the game he uh LeBron goes to get

  • 1:09:51

the ball Kendrick Perkins looks like he's setting the pick he wasn't going to set P Graham's homeboy by damn I own

  • 1:09:56

members now turn oh yeah yeah yeah grabs them by the neck throws them on the floor stands over am as if to say what

  • 1:10:02

[ __ ] [ __ ] you up right here I loved it bush league call it what you want I

  • 1:10:08

loved it because Kendrick Perkins will not be necessary for the rest of the player you don't need him to do anything

  • 1:10:13

but beat people up he can get suspended he can foul people whatever Jerry Smith however I don't know if the if the Cavs

  • 1:10:20

can win without him he's out two games he's now he's been suspended two games I

  • 1:10:25

uh if I because it's Jared chair Smith because it's jr. Smith

  • 1:10:31

I have to feel funny about it but if it's anybody else I support that I think

  • 1:10:36

I think Cleveland and particularly LeBron led Cleveland teams have been deemed soft by a lot of the people in

  • 1:10:42

the league so I joined seeing Kendrick Perkins and junior Smith [ __ ] uh [ __ ] uh stand up for the guy one of

  • 1:10:50

the star players now the downside to that is you got Chicago next if they

  • 1:10:55

beat Milwaukee which they should Chicago well with the exception of the rookie

  • 1:11:00

kid that's injured they're healthy and they're firing on all cylinders you got

  • 1:11:06

a lot of people that pick Chicago to beat Cleveland before the season started before the free throws injury and

  • 1:11:12

they're looking like that Chicago again without Kevin Love who will miss the entire series that was reported this

  • 1:11:18

morning and Jared Smith for two games LeBron and Kyrie and company have an

  • 1:11:23

uphill battle but that leads me to it might be over four and I hate to say this Rondo that's my guy

  • 1:11:31

oh this is a great great choice it might be oh that's my guy Rondo I've seen Ron oaf a few times in a

  • 1:11:37

strip club cool guy in the strip club but a lot of people cool in strip club by the way that doesn't always equal

  • 1:11:44

like best professional if that counts

  • 1:11:51

for anything I don't want Rondo on the Knicks I think

  • 1:11:56

he blew himself and I say that to say you know great player at one point at one point a friend of mine was arguing

  • 1:12:02

that Rondo it was better than Steph Curry and it was an argument to be had and y'all can add him and tell him how

  • 1:12:08

stupid e sounds his name is at Mall three underscores sounds really stupid now Rondo took the the most potent

  • 1:12:16

offense in the NBA and that's what the Mavericks had everyone did as soon as

  • 1:12:22

you got there uh roared the locker room and that's important because the Mavs

  • 1:12:27

have a lot of locker room guys it's difficult to ruin a locker room with Tyson Chandler JJ Barea Dirk Nowitzki

  • 1:12:35

[ __ ] everybody with except Chandler Parsons model citizen I mean with the exception of Monta Ellis who's a [ __ ]

  • 1:12:41

uh never mind it's pretty hard to be answer to that locker room he did that

  • 1:12:46

even his jump shot hasn't improved he can't hit a free throw people are not guarding it this is a player that was

  • 1:12:52

demanded max money at some point and I don't think he's gonna get it so even though it's ma'am you know you'll have a

  • 1:12:57

career of course I'm not I'm that but what he was it could be yeah yeah yeah yeah and by the way again Celtics fan

  • 1:13:04

loved Rondo made me realize just how [ __ ] great the Celtics did at keeping him together

  • 1:13:10

because he's a [ __ ] mess now yeah yeah sorry rajon rondo

  • 1:13:16

Joe button says it might be over for you I like them too but sorry bro all right

  • 1:13:22

you guys all right now but I think that's it I'll name this podcast later

  • 1:13:28

  • 1:14:42

know whatever she's saying gonna end up looking bad on her I guarantee

  • 1:14:48

Rory told me and no idea who that was either and they would care about it

  • 1:14:53

probably wasn't for either and I was a chick yeah what yeah you every one of us forgot the name maybe was a female maybe

  • 1:14:59
