  • 0:38

warrants. I'm not hitting my And you on camera. Have to know. I have

  • 0:44

to know. Why is it that the culture of industry and

  • 0:50

entertainment and hip-hop is making Joe Button the bar and the voice and the

  • 0:55

mouth of everything hip-hop related? I agree, Cleo. Joe Button had one hit record. Pump it up. Joe Button is a

  • 1:03

rapper. I come from the era of knowing exactly who Joe Button is. From that era, he come from that clothes bars.

  • 1:10

Y'all making it as if you have to listen to him when it comes to whether or not you should or should not like Lily.

  • 1:17

Yachti is a 19year-old kid out here killing it. hit records, hit verses,

  • 1:22

charting, making money, killing it, providing a better Christmas for his family this year than he did two years

  • 1:28

ago. But we have to listen to this scene now [ __ ] speak about whether or not you

  • 1:33

should or should not like Lil Yachty. It's not hip-hop culture. It's not hip-hop culture. Was Metallica [ __ ]

  • 1:39

    on Blink182? It wasn't. Was Metallica shitty [ __ ] on Blink182?

  • 1:45

Was that his end line? All right, so listen. We got who Rory is. We got whom Maul is. Who's that? But who the [ __ ] is

  • 1:53

this [ __ ] man? That's your boy. Who the [ __ ] is Chloe boy? Look at school.

  • 1:59

Chloe Thompson. That's uh uh dude from Roll Bounce. Cleo, the Jamaican lady from the infomercials. No, for real.

  • 2:06

Seriously, he's done a couple couple movies. This is a [ __ ] from Roll Bounce. Yeah. What the [ __ ] is he

  • 2:12

talking about hip- hop for? Cuz he cut from that cloth. Yeah. He want to know what he want to know what the [ __ ] you talking about hip-hop for? Have y'all

  • 2:18

seen Ro Bounce? Yeah, great movie. He was in holes with Shiloh Wolf. So, he

  • 2:24

knows real hip hop. The roller skating movie was pumped up in that one.

  • 2:30

Definitely not. No. No. You should have known with your 360 deal. How did you know what your [ __ ] was not on there, huh? So, listen to this. 19-year-old

  • 2:37

Joe. Hey, Chloe Beaver. Who is this [ __ ] What's his name? Chloe Beverly,

  • 2:43

whatever your name is. You are more than welcome to come to the show and express your opinions. Clearly,

  • 2:50

you missed everything I said, but that's fine. He's from LA, right? I'm not listening to no LA [ __ ] that was in

  • 2:56

roll bounce, my [ __ ] Sure. [ __ ] out of here. So, anyway, how are you gentlemen feeling? Wonderful. How you feeling,

  • 3:03

man? I saw the show with Yachty. Little Yachty. I don't have Well, how come we always have to start the podcast with

  • 3:09

that? Like, I want those to be like two separate entities. No, [ __ ] that. We have to talk about and y'all been talking about it in the group chat.

  • 3:16

Exactly. Talk about it here. Don't try and keep your side chick away from your main chick. We want to talk about it. [ __ ] you talking about. All right. So,

  • 3:21

let's talk about it. Y'all think y'all first take I'm on you, Stephen. Wait, are you

  • 3:27

interviewing me? Yeah, I'm just asking. No, we don't think we're first take. Oh, you got jokes today. No, I'm just

  • 3:33

asking. Honestly, I see the whole setup. They got what's coming up next, the topics. I see what y'all doing. They been did all that more, but I'm really

  • 3:39

breaking it down. I'm like dissecting it. No, we actually all watched for the first time. So now we want to talk about So you got to bring it to me when you

  • 3:44

breaking it down. You're on the show. Who? So what the [ __ ] that mean? I don't want to talk about it. I ask you. All right. Well, do you like it? Yeah, I

  • 3:50

liked it. All right, good. I like it. I think I think the uh the interview was dope with Yachty. I think once I think

  • 3:55

once I stop yelling, it'll be real good. You'll never stop yelling. I've been telling you that for No, I think I will.

  • 4:01

I think I will. You won't. See, when you're in the room, it's like you're in the moment. It's It's tense in the

  • 4:06

moment. It's somebody's job just looking at it just to talk in my little earpiece and say, "All right, chill the [ __ ] out for a minute." I don't want to see a

  • 4:13

whole bunch of yelling. I don't. You've been yelling since every episode. No, that's not true. What? Yo, that's not

  • 4:19

true. What episode were you yelling? Before the Yachty episode, I didn't yell in a week. You was screaming at Yachti

  • 4:24

like he didn't take the meat out the freezer and you just came home from work. Why you do that to I like Yachti.

  • 4:31

You like everybody when you meet him. I like Yudi. He seems all right. I don't I'm not talking about his music. Never had a with with him as a person. This

  • 4:38

music is not for me. Yeah, but that Ebro interview made him look bad. It did. It did. That's that's why that's why that

  • 4:44

conversation needed to be had. Maybe not the way I went about it, but that conversation needed to be had. That that

  • 4:50

interview made him look crazy. Why don't Well, the freestyle made him look crazy. Why don't you think should have asked him about Biggie? Why are you asking a

  • 4:57

19-year-old kid about Biggie? Great. I'm sure he was born My math is bad, but I'm sure he was born after Biggie died, but

  • 5:02

at the same time, why not? That's that's an icon in the culture that you're eating from. What year were you born in?

  • 5:09

And if if you're 19, uh, today you would be born in '98 and Biggie died when?

  • 5:16

    977. Am I crazy for thinking that we shouldn't be asking Lil Yachty about Biggie and uh, Punk? Yeah, because bring

  • 5:24

it up. They're icons in a culture. They killed him for them for those gentlemen not being his influence and [ __ ] Like I

  • 5:29

No, no, that's not what I'm saying at all. I just don't I don't think it's okay. I don't think he should be all right, cool. But I don't think he should

  • 5:35

be well verssed in it. That's all I'm saying. I didn't mind. But I liked him. I liked him a lot. So, totally outside

  • 5:41

of that, where would you gentlemen like to begin? Would you like to start if Rory's interesting uh story of some of

  • 5:49

his Uber driver calling him a [ __ ] or some [ __ ] That was wild. Wait, what? I was I mean, I wasn't going to say that

  • 5:55

on privately. [ __ ] huh? I got in the I got in the Uber on the

  • 6:01

way here and uh right when I sat down, he turned around and said, "All my neighbors are white except for this one

  • 6:08

n word with the er. I hate this one n word. She's terrible." And then I said,

  • 6:14

"Yo, what did you just say?" Cuz I at first I wasn't sure if I caught him. And then he said it and I pulled my phone

  • 6:19

out. Absolutely. Absolutely a bad woman. And then he changed the tone before that. Now stop the stop the Uber. What'

  • 6:24

you say before that? Yeah. Go ahead. What did you just say to me? I

  • 6:31

didn't say nothing to you. Goodbye. And that was the end of that. And I was thinking about staying in the Uber and

  • 6:37

texting y'all and going to apply the pressure to him when we pulled up, but I was like, I'll just get a different Uber. So, all right. Do we want to be

  • 6:45

serious or do we want to joke first? Well, what is the nature of this podcast?

  • 6:50

Okay. So, of course, we can understand why he looks at Rory and thinks it's

  • 6:56

okay. think it's okay for the people viewing it at YouTube. I have on a very nice No, no, listen. I'm sitting here

  • 7:03

lost the whole [ __ ] time cuz I'm like, boy, well, why did Rory take off to that? Because I thought it was rude

  • 7:09

to just say some [ __ ] like that. No, I listen. Let me I I respect you 100 for that. But I don't think I would have

  • 7:15

gotten out the Uber if I was Rory. I would have enjoyed my ride and said, "Come on, I'm sorry you feel like that.

  • 7:20

What do you mean? You can't do that." That's Yo, I'm telling you, I did not say a word. I sat down in the Uber and

  • 7:26

then he turned around and told me about his white neighbors. And then your beard is red. I have on a a nice ass. And

  • 7:34

wait, y'all thought I was playing when I told y'all Rory had that skin head cut. But that was Y'all thought I was

  • 7:40

playing. Well, that was a good It was lower than this. Yeah. So, it just seems like the driver thought that he was it

  • 7:45

was had a friend in he thought that you was going to high confide like, "Oh, yeah. That neighbor I have he thought

  • 7:52

you was going to hell Hitler him or some [ __ ] right now I'm looking at my friendship with Rory like funny why just

  • 7:58

cuz that happened you live with you live with Ry guy Ry guy is super white I love

  • 8:03

my white friends I say that all the time I do I thank God for my white friends maybe except for Johnny he got some

  • 8:09

    [ __ ] [ __ ] I I like I love all my Johnny got some Johnny got a couple [ __ ] traits but he white I don't really

  • 8:16

understand it but we'll get into that later. Um, where y'all want to start? I wasn't prepared to tell that on the podcast,

  • 8:22

but rule on the phone. We could start there. Thoughts are on this transit. Who

  • 8:27

gives a [ __ ] When I got out of that Uber, I immediately thought, what would J do in

  • 8:33

this situation? Rule on the phone. Let's see what Jaw's thoughts are on this tragedy. Who gives

  • 8:40

a [ __ ] what J Rule thinks at a time like this, [ __ ] This is ridiculous. Get the bag. I don't want to dance. I'm scared to death. Jo got the bag. All right. So,

  • 8:49

what kind of bag is that? That's the bag. Is that a scam bag? Are we calling that like a That's scamming. Yeah,

  • 8:54

    that's a Is that a scam bag? This is scamming. Give the backstory. I don't That's what I'm saying. It's a It's a

  • 9:00

deeper I don't We need We need all of the details about this. Oh, we ain't

  • 9:05

going to talk about Murder Inc. had just establishes a

  • 9:11

dog. You got to tell us you got your visible doubt special only has it had

  • 9:17

on. Listen, I'm tired of you with your fancy Rockefeller ass. Listen, we need more information about this because I I

  • 9:23

cannot understand how J Rule is attached to this. This is the the oddest [ __ ] I've ever like I don't I don't even know

  • 9:29

what the [ __ ] happened. I have no backstory. I think Jai just met a really young rich kid that probably liked his

  • 9:35

music and was like, "Yo, let's do this. Invest with me. I'll cover most of it." And then next thing we know, J has the

  • 9:41

[ __ ] Mr. Krabs swirl around his face and doesn't know what's going on. So, you think that J was like, I'll use my

  • 9:48

jaw ruledness and have people come perform. I think he just met some rich white kid and they got along and then

  • 9:55

next thing you know, guys talent and Yeah. and it's over. That's just what I think. Did y'all see this? The p I don't

  • 10:01

believe those pictures. I don't believe those pictures. I think that people just got had fun with it on the internet. I don't believe that. You two gentlemen

  • 10:08

have spent some time overnight in in jail, right? Was the food better than Against our will, might I add? NYP, did

  • 10:15

my Uber driver take you there? Probably. Probably. Was the food better in The

  • 10:21

cops really treated us bad that night, too. You You know why they treated us? They wasn't feeling us. Because this [ __ ] Joe starts yelling. No. Is that

  • 10:30

true? Not that Joe. I know. That is not true. Joe doesn't yell. Joe, wait. Wait. No. Hold on. Away from the J topic.

  • 10:36

Don't do that. When we got in the van, you didn't start yelling and cursing. When we're already in the van, you

  • 10:41

[ __ ] dick. And And what did the dude say when we got to the precinct? What did the cop say to you? Oh, you you're

  • 10:46

the guy that believes that. You're the guy that believes the cop. No, no, no. We was at the cell. Yeah. We was at the

  • 10:52

desk as soon as you walk in and he said, "Yo, I I wasn't going to, you know what I'm saying, talk to him, let y'all go,

  • 10:58

but you talk to, you know what I'm saying? You talked to him kind of crazy." So, he's upset about that. That's exactly what the cop said. I have

  • 11:03

always had a problem with like people. Look, but he going to say he it was 87

  • 11:10

years old. He finally They was wilding that night. They was wild. Yeah. Then when you start cursing the cop out, that

  • 11:15

doesn't help our case much. I'm just sitting in the back like we're fine. I was young. I was young and dumb. But anyway, in that night, was the food

  • 11:21

better than the two pieces of bread and the slic looked the same. It was the

  • 11:26

same [ __ ] It looked real It was no PB&J with no jelly. No, it was the same [ __ ] That's why I don't believe those pictures. I'm I think people just have

  • 11:33

fun with a hashtag on on social media. But everything on social media is fun. Number one, right? So, I'm not mad at

  • 11:38

anybody for that. Two, if you if you they say the market for something is what somebody is willing to pay, right?

  • 11:45

I believe that's why I think this is funny. That's the only reason I think this is hilarious, right? If white people I love white people, if you got

  • 11:52

12 bands to pay for some [ __ ] Ju put together in the Bahamas. Oh my god. Just that fast. Wait, just

  • 11:58

that fast I remember my resentment towards mall. What? And if I was still

  • 12:03

rapping, you had bars coming your way about some [ __ ] Do you know I let Mo

  • 12:09

and Ammani gas me one? I let these [ __ ] gas me in the thing sometimes, man. Wait, what? I know that I let Mo

  • 12:16

and Ammani one time gas me into spending like

  • 12:21

$20,000 in like two night span in the strip club cuz I had to let [ __ ] know.

  • 12:27

No, that was I I didn't have I didn't have much to do with that. I said if you going to go No, what I what I No, I'm

  • 12:34

going say what I said. I said if you going to go to the strip club every night like that, you got to spend money. Now, this is when this is when we were

  • 12:41

This is when we were in the strip club. Well, I was in the strip club nightly, but but my logic I wasn't in there to to

  • 12:48

for the strippers. Maul knew that. Yeah, but that there's strip club etiquette and part of that etiquette. Not when

  • 12:53

you're there. Not when you're there as much as I'm there. It's not strip club etiquette when you're there as much as I was there and you know all of these

  • 12:58

people and they come to your house and smoke hookah and spend the night. Yeah, but I'm the owner of the cash spend.

  • 13:05

Yeah, you and E. Y'all put the battery in my back. just said that if you going to be there, I mean, you you do have He is always in the crew of putting the

  • 13:11

battery in my back cuz he was down with you with making me spend that money. And he was down with Vern for making me uh

  • 13:17

uh want to fight everybody when he was him and Vern. Yo, you got to let these [ __ ] know. As long as you got to let

  • 13:23

[ __ ] know you got to. I'm never from the school of you have to let [ __ ] know. I don't care what [ __ ] know or

  • 13:29

you don't let [ __ ] know. No. No. Oh, all right. [ __ ] it. No. Why is that

  • 13:34

important? I don't know. Sometimes it is though to let [ __ ] know. Yeah. Let [ __ ] know like, "Yo, I will punch you

  • 13:40

in your mouth." Did you say you won't before he spent that 20 grand? You know how much dumb [ __ ] I've done? Cuz my friend said you won't and I did. Right.

  • 13:47

Why you listen to First of all, why you listen to out of all the times you could have listened to me? That's what I

  • 13:53

listen to sometimes back then when we were on Well, when I was on pills and I was trying to drug mall that summer. But

  • 14:00

anyway, look what he was trying. That's a pause. That's a pause. You're trying Why you trying to drug your man? Because

  • 14:05

who is Mo? Oh boy. He's Mo. We have to find out. And in order to find out from

  • 14:11

someone who won't tell us, they got to drink. We got to put Molly in his drink. Put Molly in my drink. Okay. I took I

  • 14:18

got him, too. I got him, too. I got him, too. I got you that night. He didn't get me. He thought he bronze. I got you. He

  • 14:24

thought he did. I got more. I did. I'm a little uncomfortable. Pause. Listen, it's just conversation. Just

  • 14:30

conversation. Uh, all right. So, what were we talking about? There was no 20 hits from Trey. I think we're okay. Yeah, that was Listen, that was a moment

  • 14:37

in time. Oh, I think I think Wait, come on, man. We don't got to make that a sound bite. Wait, hold on. The [ __ ] All

  • 14:44

right. All right. Oh, I think Trey gave me 20 minutes of hits. Jesus.

  • 14:52

Can we just get rid of this? I thought we were going to record more and we'll just back to Ju. First of all, the

  • 14:58

Bahamas. Let's deal with the Bahamas. Has everyone been to the Bahamas? Everyone here has been to the Bombers. I went to St. Thomas last week. Yeah, I

  • 15:04

think I've been to the Bahamas. I'm not I'm alarmed if I were to see the number

  • 15:10

15K or 13K and then the the word Bahamas next to it. Yeah, I red flag number one. White uh rich

  • 15:17

white people. Red flag number one. Cost 12,000 to go to the Bahamas at all. Um what else? No, no. They said it was

  • 15:23

luxurious, but I mean the motel 6 says it's luxurious if you look at the [ __ ] Ritz Cton in the Bahamas and it

  • 15:29

wouldn't cost you 12K. Bella Hadid Habib Hadad. What's the model girl's name? Oh,

  • 15:37

she was one of the people that that that was on the promo. Uh it was what? Blink 182. Migos. Migos. Amigos was on the

  • 15:46

bill. I kept trying to find the bill and I couldn't find it. All I could find was Blink182 and Ju. Did y'all hear the Migos Katy Perry? The Katy Perry record

  • 15:52

feature Migos. Uh, no. I only heard the call one with Quo. Katy Perry keeps one.

  • 15:58

Oh, I mean, she keeps a fire first single featuring a urban rapper trending

  • 16:05

upward. Yeah, yeah, that's what it's hard for. That's off on a tangent. I'm

  • 16:11

really feeling Migos. I like everything they're doing. They body that Katy Perry [ __ ] I like how they're crossing over. Not a lot of people cross over well.

  • 16:18

They're crossing over well. And I'm off on a tangent again. So, where were we? Uh 12K for the Bahamas. The tents. Yeah.

  • 16:25

I'm not staying in the Tent for 12K. I'm sorry. Not happening. Well, did Wait, did everyone pay 12K or did some pay? I

  • 16:32

would only stay in the tent for 12K if Amber Rose was staying with me. I would only sleep in the tent if there

  • 16:38

was no other place to sleep. Oh my god, this is terrible. Cuz somebody please

  • 16:44

find your rule. Get hold of this [ __ ] so I can make sense of all this facts. Where is Jaw? Now, where is

  • 16:52

Jaw? He was not there. Now, I love Jaw. So, I want to be clear that I'm This is

  • 16:57

lighthearted. Jaw, man. This is lighthearted fun. I love J. I bump into

  • 17:02

him from time to time. And Neman's. Who doesn't love Jaw? And the list is

  • 17:08

growing of people that I am beefing with. Jay Hood tried to beef with me the other day on Twitter. Oh, did he? Which

  • 17:13

would be the second time that Jay Hood has attempted to beef with me in my career, by the way. Is he going to drag

  • 17:19

your moon music chain down the street? No, no, no. And the funny [ __ ] is he really got it. Academics, the [ __ ] that

  • 17:24

brought him up. I'm waiting to see uh Academics and Wall's exchange. Oh yeah,

  • 17:30

I already talked with Cass in the group chat about getting W up on I am anxious to see that. If I never want to see

  • 17:36

Academic speak to anyone else, it's W. I think Wle has a lot of information to give. I think W is I got to blame his

  • 17:46

situation or current lack of what people deem success on social

  • 17:52

media. I think people made it cool to just not like Wall. It wasn't just that. I think he just had

  • 17:58

a contributed stigma about himself within every part of not just his fans

  • 18:03

but the industry as well. Like cuz he's always been on a major. So, he's always had to deal with people that dictate a

  • 18:09

lot of what he can put out and that stigma has been bad and he's attributed to it, but it also I just think he rubs

  • 18:15

people the wrong way whether that's his fault or not, but it's been his whole career that that's he had to deal with

  • 18:21

that. He has marketed himself wrong online and it never really mattered

  • 18:26

because he's been so hit based. He he's always been able to deliver hits on the radio and and once that stopped and that

  • 18:33

and radio stopped being the go-to and and be all uh end all be all for hits,

  • 18:40

the stars seemed to dim a little bit. Then there was that whole we don't [ __ ] with you musically section. Yeah. But I

  • 18:46

    don't people jumped on that wave. I just don't I don't understand. I don't like it. I don't get it either. He's dope to

  • 18:52

me. To me, he's dope. And I think that he's become such an easy target now. Well, because he reacts and that's why

  • 18:59

he he becomes an easy target to people because you know you'll get a response out of him and it'll be it'll seem angry

  • 19:05

the way you seem angry when you're being passionate quote unquote. That's I think the same thing with Wall. He comes off.

  • 19:11

You're kind of in the same boat. You and Wall. Well, we're both very passionate

  • 19:17

viros. Uh with some other things in common. With some other things in common. I identify with Wall. I do, man.

  • 19:23

But I identify with all the rappers. Even in my Yachty conversation, there was a point where before I felt like I

  • 19:28

would have been wasting my time where I was attempting to tell him I identify with him. Like I'm no different from him. The style of music is the same. I

  • 19:35

mean, is different. Like he's doing that fun [ __ ] and I was doing some real hip-hop [ __ ] but I still was him in

  • 19:42

terms of all the divide and conquer [ __ ] I was on last decade. I probably championed that along with 50 and game

  • 19:49

and just some other people. But why don't you think we wle outside of that? cuz his numbers back it and I

  • 19:55

think his disography backs it why he's never brought up in that Drake Cole Kendrick cuz even Shawn's name is now in

  • 20:02

there as well and I think going based off disography I think we is a stronger one for my personal opinion I think and

  • 20:09

hits wise we has certainly delivered on a lot of hits his numbers are there we at the point where we has to come speak

  • 20:14

for himself I think but I think that's gotten him in a lot of trouble well he now has someone in me who who

  • 20:23

identified with the artist plight a bit more. I think that may make it easier for him. I think he's just like I think

  • 20:30

he's kind of just fell out of like good graces with with the fans and [ __ ]

  • 20:36

I think I think I think more so him. I think he's just turned off with the the the music industry. I just I don't think

  • 20:42

he's his his his heart and Let me ask y'all something. Let me ask y'all something. Let's have a serious talk for

  • 20:48

two seconds. I I thought we was having a serious talk. All right. Let's have an even more serious talk and get it off of Wall and I want to bring it back to

  • 20:54

y'all for two seconds. M you being around the music industry as long as you have been. Rory, the same for you. Um

  • 21:01

I'll ask both of you the same question.

  • 21:06

    Wouldn't y'all be turned off? Yeah, I get it. [ __ ] There's There's No, I get it. I I I understand why he

  • 21:14

would be turned off. I'm just saying I think that that's where the disconnect is at this point. I don't I just think he doesn't really give a [ __ ] Like he's

  • 21:21

like, "Man, whatever. Here's the album." Like, he he's going to make good records cuz he can rap. He can make make a good

  • 21:27

record. It's not going to be like a terrible project. But I don't think that all the [ __ ] be like around the album and all I don't I don't think he gives a

  • 21:33

[ __ ] So now listen. So this is my thing. My thing is always what's next for

  • 21:39

people. Whenever we W decides he doesn't want to rap anymore or whenever the fans decide they

  • 21:46

don't want to hear Wall rap anymore. Whenever the labels decide they don't want to uh help advance we's career

  • 21:52

anymore. What is the next phase for for someone like that? W's great with

  • 21:57

sports. I know he's big into wrestling. I don't know too much about wrestling, but I know he's a figure in that and I think sports head a great I think he he

  • 22:04

could make for a great rapper turned actor. Yeah, that emotion got to come from

  • 22:10

somewhere if he Anytime I see W on camera, he he looks comfortable. He's he's well dressed.

  • 22:17

He's well spoken. I think he would be good in film. We don't talk enough about people's

  • 22:24

retirement plans in music. Well, only in hip-hop. Well, cuz hip-hop is so young. The top, you know, the top people are

  • 22:31

just now retiring, if you will. I don't know any rapper that has retired.

  • 22:39

Well, define retire. The game the game retires you. I don't think I any rapper has just said I'm done. Like if they was

  • 22:45

at the peak of their [ __ ] and just dead stop. I don't like that word peak. Well, I'm just saying I like rapper that has

  • 22:51

retired and like on his own like the game retires you. Well, all right. Define retirement for me. When you

  • 22:59

decide like I'm done, like I'm not doing this no more. This part of my life is over with. Let me go do something

  • 23:04

else. We'll see. I have an answer for that. Who? I can't answer. Oh [ __ ] Damn

  • 23:12

    you [ __ ] Did I just stump Joe Button? No. Oh, because I can't prove I can't

  • 23:18

prove my answer yet and I don't want to get any fans riled up. But I do have an answer for that. Okay, we'll talk about

  • 23:23

    it off. Is it you? 100%. 100%. You're not [ __ ] Shut the [ __ ]

  • 23:29

up, man. You're not retired, man. When did you retire? When was your retirement date? Well, that's why I asked you to

  • 23:35

define retirement for me. Okay. And I just did. Rap is about to not no longer be my

  • 23:42

first, second, third, or No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You going form of

  • 23:47

income. You're talking about something else. I'm talking about never ever. All right. So, listen to No. See, that's not

  • 23:53

fair. That's not fair. Let me let me speak to this. I We always We Well, we hear people clown Andre 3000 for putting

  • 24:00

out one verse every two years or something like that, right? Mhm. The older I get, the more I understand all these older people. Mhm. I guess that's

  • 24:07

how it's supposed to go. But is that retirement? No, I don't think that's retirement

  • 24:13

either. So, tell me what if you put out one one verse a year, that's not retirement. You're still retirement is

  • 24:19

never hearing you. Never hearing you again. Okay. No. Is retirement touring, too? Are you done touring? All of that

  • 24:24

done. Cuz you know, the are done making albums with this part of my life. I'm not even I don't even acknowledge that

  • 24:32

no more. And you know, but you you're absolutely right, Mo. You are 100% correct. You you don't hear that. I have

  • 24:37

a theory as to why I think that is. Again, like I said, like I say all the

  • 24:43

time, we don't have retirement plans in hip-hop. No, but I think there are some

  • 24:48

rappers that definitely are well off where they could just walk away from music and never make a lot of people

  • 24:53

like, "Yo, I'm good for life. I'm set." A lot of rappers don't own their music either, so they have to continue to make

  • 24:59

it to make money because they're not seeing anything. that do own their music. There's not many. But there are

  • 25:05

some, right? Even they are not. Oh, no. I'm I'm not disagreeing. I was just saying why a lot of them continue to rap

  • 25:11

music more. Jay owns some of it. Yeah. I mean, I'm just talking about rappers that have

  • 25:17

made money before this whole career. What I'm saying is I'm talking about rappers that have made money to where if

  • 25:22

they never sell another album again, they will be okay in life. All right. See, that's not what I'm talking about.

  • 25:27

Artists that have made money. You're talking about the top of the class. I'm That's not what I'm talking about. So we

  • 25:33

in a in a retire in a retirement plan, everybody eats when they retire, not

  • 25:39

just the top of the class. I'm saying I think if that were to happen, more people would be encouraged to uh

  • 25:46

encouraged to retire. There would be some incentive to do it. Now you kind of try to go until you can't go anymore

  • 25:52

because what do you do next? For a lot of us, I know for me that was always a fear of mine as as someone who has never

  • 26:00

had a a resume, who has dropped out at whatever age I dropped out. So, my uh

  • 26:06

highest level education wasn't so high. If I were looking for a job, I'm everything that they said not to hire

  • 26:11

when we was trying to get jobs. So, hip-hop is basically like the union for delinquents. Leor said to me when I

  • 26:19

first got my deal, well actually when I came to him and I was broke on Death Jam

  • 26:24

saying, "Hey, how do rappers get money?" Like, "How does this happen?" But he said to me that uh hiphop, we're so

  • 26:32

fortunate because most of us here are dropouts. like this is the only craft

  • 26:38

where we will willingly accept, promote, uplift the worst of the worst, right?

  • 26:46

And that always stuck with me. So yeah, that that's true. But I think that'll change in the next coming years because

  • 26:53

at that point hip-hop was still kind of a a cult thing. Even though it was making so much money, it still wasn't

  • 26:59

that well accepted in middle America. But while I think it is now where I think like a ASAP Rocky could eventually

  • 27:04

be a fashion designer where someone couldn't have an ' 05, there's more incentive and more openings I think for

  • 27:10

the kids now to eventually retire than the rappers back then. Well, hip-hop hip-hop is more accepted on a global

  • 27:16

scale. Yeah. So, I think there's more openings like with Yachti doing all these these great things, there's more

  • 27:23

spaces. He's more accepted. Like I don't know if he was getting Freeway on a Sprite commercial in ' 03, but Yachti's

  • 27:30

on the piano with LeBron James in 2017. It's much more accepted and it's become

  • 27:35

the culture of America where it was a star man. He is. Well, hip-hop is hip-hop is responsible. The culture is

  • 27:42

responsible for a lot of, you know, just things in the world. It inspires a lot of [ __ ] around the world. Like, you

  • 27:49

can't ignore that anymore. You know why else? I don't like your your retirement. um point about never like don't perform,

  • 27:56

don't make music and none of that. I like to see like I follow Red Man on on

  • 28:02

Instagram. I love when he just pops up at places cuz he's red and he's respected as Red wherever he goes. And

  • 28:09

if you ever saw a Red and Method Man show, then yeah, you saw you saw a show.

  • 28:14

I bus when he used to hit the stage. Public Enemy still tours. Chuck D still tours. So, like we like to see that

  • 28:22

Slick Rick and Big Daddy Kane still kill shows. Yeah. No, I I get I know this is all [ __ ] [ __ ] but these people are

  • 28:27

killing [ __ ] No, no, no. I get that part. I'm just saying I don't know any rap. I'm just making a statement that I don't know any rappers that have

  • 28:33

retired. I don't I don't know any. It's their passion. Could somebody please

  • 28:41

find room? See what happens when John tried to retire sense of all this. Where is John? I'mma start me a

  • 28:49

festival. Yeah, let's do it. I thought that was funny that that that all that festival stuff happened after Maul [ __ ] on uh

  • 28:56

    Coachella. Oh yeah, Coachella where you [ __ ] on things. I didn't I didn't [ __ ] on Coachella. I'm

  • 29:02

just [ __ ] on the corny people that run the Coachella every year now. Like y'all wasn't doing that before Frank

  • 29:08

Ocean said, "I met her at Coachella." I don't know anybody that was No one is going to sing I met her at Fry Fest this

  • 29:13

year. Not happen. That won't happen. Now which festival is that? I thought, isn't that what it's called? Fry Fest.

  • 29:19

Firefest. Yeah. No, nobody's singing that. Nobody's saying that. I know it's there.

  • 29:24

Three gentlemen in this room. Four gentlemen in this room. That's why we need a girl. Did anybody watch the Met

  • 29:30

Medala? I want to know what the [ __ ] happens in the Met Gala. I'm much more interested. I don't have

  • 29:36

enough. He said people around eating. Everybody's just talking amongst each other. Some Illuminati [ __ ] going on in

  • 29:42

there. That's what used to be the word. It got to be some Illuminati [ __ ] No, I

  • 29:48

think so. You ain't the Illuminati, [ __ ] Shut up. I think people just love seeing the Illuminati. Mo, if you don't

  • 29:53

knock it off, everything is the Illuminati. I missed my flight. [ __ ] Illuminati. Yeah. Oh, here you go. You

  • 29:58

being an extremist now. I'm just saying everything is the Illuminati. Not everything. Do you believe there's an

  • 30:03

Illuminati or not? Of course I believe there's an Illuminati. But I don't think that everything just because Do you

  • 30:08

believe they want my mind, soul, and my body? Your mind, soul, and your body? You know, I don't think the Illuminati wants you. I don't think they want your

  • 30:15

mind so in your body. 20 minutes of hits. I'm right. Yo, right.

  • 30:20

Rory, that was kind of crazy. I It was Can we just move past it? All right. So, what was we on just now? I don't want to get into the Illuminati. What were we

  • 30:27

talking about before? Or Oh, Matt Galla. Matt Galla. Matt Galla. Yeah, I don't watch that. Sorry. I can't say I watched it either. I saw the pictures on my

  • 30:33

timeline, though. We have to be able to discuss these type. We can discuss it. Rihanna looked uh uh that's just the

  • 30:40

default goto that Rihanna Rihanna looks great. I saw I saw the picture of what she was wearing. It was a lot going on.

  • 30:46

Was laying on the steps. That was crazy. Priyanka uh the Quanico the young lady from Quanico looked really really really

  • 30:52

good. And she was with one of those Jonas dudes. I think it was Nick. Nicki Minaj looked she looked good. I saw a picture of her. She looked good. Nikki

  • 30:58

looked good. Yeah, she did. Um who else do we have? The Migos were there. Yachti

  • 31:06

was there. Frank Ocean was there. Amigos looked Yeah, they were they very icy. They were very icy at the time. I'm sick

  • 31:11

of uh Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez. Why? They just started. Well, how you say? I didn't even know they was together. That's crazy. They just

  • 31:18

started dating in a couple months. It's a BX love story. Enough. Enough.

  • 31:24

But this is the same guy that was so gung-ho about Cardi being Offset. That's what I saw a picture of her in Offset

  • 31:31

today. Was that from the Met Gal? Was Cardi at the Met Gala? If Cardi was at the Met Gala, that's big. That's dope.

  • 31:36

If she was there with Offset, that's big. I don't think she was there. That's big. If Cardi was there, but that would be awesome if she was there. Yeah, she

  • 31:43

deserves to be there. All right, so we can't talk about the Met Galla. We can't talk about Kim and her outfit. Can't

  • 31:50

talk about anybody's outfit, huh? Cuz y'all don't want to saw all of the outfits. We can talk about outfits if you want to talk about outfits. I just

  • 31:55

think that's kind of We got to hire a girl on the podcast. Cuz Sin gave you the recap before you left the house. [ __ ] out of here. Try to come in here

  • 32:02

like, "Yeah, what's up with y'all? What's up with you? You want to talk about what [ __ ] was weird at the Met Gala? Nobody want to talk about that

  • 32:09

shit." That was a hot topic. For who? Oh man. Not for this platform. We don't

  • 32:14

talk about the [ __ ] Matt Gala here. Are you crazy? Are you [ __ ] kidding me? We talked about it last year. I

  • 32:19

wasn't here. Who? What do we say? Someone was wearing something. Oh, see I

  • 32:25

got See, that's So, y'all [ __ ] talked about the Met Gala last year on this platform. That's I don't think we did. Y'all are [ __ ] nuts. Don't ever talk

  • 32:32

about that. Especially with Yandandy and Erica. That's crazy. We 100% talked about the last year, but that's fine. We

  • 32:38

don't talk about end up with Sons. Do you guys listen to Wally's album? I know we was off Wall, but his album just came out. We didn't discuss that. Man, if I

  • 32:44

hear Wley's name again, I'm saying this. His album is out. His album is out. Let's talk about it. Did you hear it?

  • 32:50

Mhm. Yeah. Do you like it? Yes. Did you hear it? I did. Do you like it? I do. do enjoy it. Um, his last album, the album

  • 32:56

about nothing, was my favorite rap album of 2015. That was a dope album. And because that album is so great, this was

  • 33:03

nothing like that. And I still, it's nothing like his entire disgraphy. The other Well, they should go the fab route. I'm going put that out there. He

  • 33:10

could have after the bad put out dope mixtapes and told Oh, I was saying Wait a minute. Wait a minute. He should. Wait

  • 33:16

a minute. But his albums are so good and he makes like a lot of hits. Not to say just told them [ __ ] Expound on that.

  • 33:24

put out dope mix. Why do you Why do you think that about why why do you mean why? Why do you think he

  • 33:29

should go fab route? I'm not That's not a bad thing. Fab is at that route in year 20 of his career. Well,

  • 33:38

Fab year nine. Okay. He got to resort to that already. No, I'm not saying he has

  • 33:44

to resort. I'm saying he should do that. He should just put out a dope ass mixtape to I don't even know why Fab

  • 33:49

does that, honestly. Well, that's how you put out. Why would he do that? It's working. It's [ __ ] working. No, what

  • 33:56

I'm saying, Of course it is working. What I'm saying is why wouldn't he put an album out, too? And where's the Fab

  • 34:02

Kiss album? Enough. That's your man. You ask him. I don't know. I'm looking forward to that. I

  • 34:07

ain't going. There's been like 75 Friday 13. They dropped a joint that was hard

  • 34:13

    off that [ __ ] Yeah, I need I need I need that album. I need that mix. What's up with these [ __ ] That's your

  • 34:18

people. We don't know. We don't know, bro. So maybe I don't know. Oh, or maybe because he was maybe because he was on

  • 34:24

tour going great. Maybe this tour was in the works. I don't know. But I I hope they ain't fall back. Maybe he's putting

  • 34:31

it out after this tour after he get off the road. I guess the the the Kiss joint. Yeah, he's on the road right now.

  • 34:38

So, I mean, obviously, but Kiss is not on the road with him, right? No, but I'm

  • 34:43

just saying Fab is on the road. So, why would he put out the the the joint now? He I'm saying Ben Ben put it out when

  • 34:50

they was running it. They was they was popping up everywhere together. Yeah. I I don't know. But I I'm I I'm I'm

  • 34:55

waiting. Fab is on on tour with Chris Brown and and now there's a rumored

  • 35:01

track list of a double album. Yeah. Coming from Chris Brown. Yeah. I don't

  • 35:06

know how anyone else feels about that. Double D Chris. That really excites me. Pause. That's the title right there.

  • 35:12

Yeah. Double dish Chris. I'm not I don't know. What if it's What if it's 40 like bangers though? Then that would be

  • 35:19

amazing more. Okay, that would be that would be awesome and great. I always want to make sure y'all [ __ ] is on the same page as me, you know. Oh, wait. You

  • 35:26

think somebody got Chris Brown hate in them? I'm seeing [ __ ] online talking about, "Oh, that's that [ __ ] going to be trash. Nobody wants to hear 40 Chris

  • 35:33

Brown songs." Tell me when [ __ ] online do not trash something.

  • 35:39

They didn't trash Kendrick's album. No, there was a lot of people that was fake. I didn't see it. Hating unwoke people or

  • 35:46

some [ __ ] I was going to get hate everywhere. All right. All right. Listen, listen. Listen. With the the the

  • 35:52

idiotic hate aside, right? Oh, like lot like real logical disagreements. Do we

  • 35:57

think that Chris Brown is putting out 40 songs and is not fire on there? Honestly, I would never think that. Who

  • 36:03

thinks that in the world? I would never. 40 is a lot of records. I'm Any putting out 40, but he can pump them out. Pause.

  • 36:12

What artist can put 40 [ __ ] records on and it all be fire? That's a lot. He

  • 36:18

can pump him out. It's just funny slang. Someone should make way pump. I feel

  • 36:23

like I just missed something. Well, who's doing what exactly now? Okay,

  • 36:28

everyone. Checking the temperature. You missed it. You missed it. There's going to be fire on there. And if somebody can

  • 36:34

deliver that type of Yeah, it's him. It's him. Yeah, Chris is capable of

  • 36:40

that. And I like a lot of features, man. What if he's giving us like one disc like R&B and one disc rap? I wouldn't

  • 36:48

care. I know there was some fire on there. I know. Of course, there's some fire on there. That's all I care. The

  • 36:53

question was, do we need 40 records from Chris Brown in 2017 is what the question was. I'm not mad at it, man. [ __ ] Yes.

  • 37:01

All right. I'm not mad at it. Well, what happened? I'll take I'll take 20. Well, listen. We got 40 records from Future

  • 37:07

just in different weeks. Mhm. Was both of those were 20. I mean, it was close, too. I like the Hendrickx joint a lot. I

  • 37:13

didn't particularly like the other one, though. Well, listen to this. So, I guess for two different fan bases, because I like the more uh melodic

  • 37:19

future than the Turnup Future, but Chris, does Chris have two sides? I guess you could be the wild hits and

  • 37:24

then real R&B [ __ ] Well, that's the fan consumer aspect of this. On the other

  • 37:30

side, the more songs you have on a project, since most mostly everything is digital now, uh, increases the odds of

  • 37:38

you being streamed, inflates the numbers, okay, and so forth and so on. Look at Complex teaching you [ __ ] I

  • 37:44

didn't know that. No, I knew that. What does Complex taught me? I don't know. They just keep putting everybody in

  • 37:50

front of me that I [ __ ] want to talk to. Like academics about say you have one. You

  • 37:56

only have one person in front of you. Yeah, one guy like academics. [ __ ] That's [ __ ] Uh, what else? What

  • 38:03

else? What else? What else? What else was real good? Uh, oh, you know, I guess we just skipping. I wanted to talk about

  • 38:08

Sean. I thought there was more than did you like it cuz there's a lot going on with the sales there. I know you I know you talked about it on Yeah, I'm I'm wed

  • 38:16

out because we just been I went to his listening session. I've spoken to him. I've spoken to act. I've done so much

  • 38:22

behind the scenes while we wall [ __ ] I've just been talking while we media. I feel like I feel like at Complex we

  • 38:29

really enjoyed speaking about the same [ __ ] people. That sounds like complex. They only

  • 38:36

write about the same. I don't want to keep talking about the same people. So many other people to speak about. But

  • 38:41

but if you have some some some analysis that maybe wasn't given or some because we didn't delve really into it. I know

  • 38:48

My Love is great and should have been been a single. I know all of us agree that the Wayne single was probably a bad pick. Well, no matter who picked it, if

  • 38:55

it starts with my love, do you think that changes the energy around the album? I think moving it from what was it the 13th of May, I think the original

  • 39:02

date was, and then at that the genius listening, he moved it the week prior and was just like, "Yo, we putting out on Friday." Yo, I also because I think

  • 39:10

cutting your roll out that short and I while they still an artist like a lot of artists that still need that roll out,

  • 39:16

there's only a few people that can do the [ __ ] drop the same day or week out. I think cutting you in half there

  • 39:21

is is tough. Especially when you're leading off with running back with Little Wayne when you have seven other

  • 39:28

amazing records that you could have let off with. And I think you blamed you blamed it on Atlantic. But I don't know.

  • 39:34

I think we wle has a control on where he's picking which records going first. But didn't he pick a record first? PYT

  • 39:40

was went out a long time ago with the Michael Jackson [ __ ] I wasn't too big of a fan of that one or running back. So

  • 39:46

going into this album, I was like, "All right, I don't know." But I like every other record on here but those two. Yeah, me too. running back. He performed

  • 39:53

with with Wayne on first take. That's what let me know he even had something coming. But even when it was doing that,

  • 40:00

I thought it the energy was kind of down just on that record. I didn't think it was really a live performance record.

  • 40:05

Wayne had so much going on with him at the time. So, we was just happy to see him. I don't know what the thinking was,

  • 40:10

but there are way better records on that album than that. Yeah. I just think leading with my love puts you in a way

  • 40:18

different space on where you can perform. And I was probably a little harsh on Atlanta was uh just a little

  • 40:24

    bit. Um

  • 40:30

yo, it's really something wrong with you, man. Oh, no. Seriously, there's something wrong with Joe, man. You Is

  • 40:36

that what you think, Joe? Maybe you were a little too harsh on Atlantic now. Only a little. Okay, cuz I I think we're only

  • 40:43

a little Wait, wait, let me let me reply to Mo real quick. Rory, you know why I say that? Because let's say that Rory is

  • 40:49

right or that somebody is right and that we is in charge of picking the record. He's certainly taking a lot of Atlant

  • 40:55

Atlantic flack on this as well. But I think W's that far in his career that he can dictate which records he wants to

  • 41:02

put out first. I think I think that we if W has that type of say so right

  • 41:11

and suggested the records to Atlantic Mhm. Do we think that they didn't reply with

  • 41:16

their opinion on which record he should go with? Of course. Yeah. I I'm just

  • 41:21

saying I I think that a professional, someone who's paid to to

  • 41:27

pick records. Yeah. Should have some input. And when a record doesn't work,

  • 41:34

I think that was my point that I really [ __ ] up on on the show. The label should have accountability as well, as

  • 41:40

well as the artist. The artist, the artist is always the front person. So, everybody is going to kill Wle. Wlet,

  • 41:46

you flopped. Wlet, you sold 20,000. They can't say, "Well, Karen and marketing, you [ __ ] up." They don't know who was

  • 41:52

responsible for any of that. Yeah, but that's that's Karen and marketing is bad. I I I just think it's not fair. I

  • 41:57

just think that's not fair. I mean, you got to y'all got to hold that together. Somebody Somebody dropped the ball and

  • 42:03

it was It's the artist's job to be on top of that, though. Like, yo, make sure my [ __ ] is right. So if it's not, you're

  • 42:10

asking somebody to be on top of a lot of [ __ ] Yeah. I mean, let's be That's why people have a team. And now, do we think

  • 42:16

that Wle has a team? I'm not talking about MMG. You think just like a group of friends? Yeah. Well, I know he has

  • 42:23

friends. Well, no. Like people involved in his career. Yeah. His management team more or less. I think they do. And I

  • 42:29

think maybe where the mishap was if he did come in running back. Yeah. Yeah, Atlantic should have said, "Hey, my love

  • 42:35

will get us on SNL and these other TV stations to push this cuz running back's not getting you on the platforms you

  • 42:42

want to go and perform at." It's just not. Listen, uh, speaking of my label hate. Oh god.

  • 42:49

Um, whenever you start with I think I want to try I think I'm going to try to get LA Reed on to come on the show. Oh

  • 42:55

[ __ ] Okay. No, try. It's not going to happen.

  • 43:01

Just leave it at that. It's not going to happen. Y'all are so negative. Whatever. This is

  • 43:06

my you won't moment. So you can go do it. You don't think that'll happen? I don't think you could do it. Do I think

  • 43:11

LA Reed would sit down and and talk with you on air?

  • 43:18

No. But why? I think he would talk with you in a room. Like he would if you see

  • 43:23

him, he would have a conversation with you. Who's the middleman here? Who's the person saying the middleman?

  • 43:30

The middleman conversation. I think someone could see I'm I don't know if LA heard I don't Was you talking about him

  • 43:36

on here or was it Everyday Struggle? I forgot. Everyday struggle. Yeah. I I think if he sees that clip, why would he

  • 43:42

want to speak to you? Doesn't beat out work at Epic Now, too. He does. I don't

  • 43:47

know if that's a secret or not. I don't think it is. Do you know that LA Reed is damn near solely responsible for the

  • 43:54

fall of Arista? He was well on his way to sinking death jam [ __ ] before they shipped his ass out

  • 44:01

of town. How would nobody talk about this? I would love to talk to him about this. I'm I'm pretty sure he would. I'm just

  • 44:08

saying he's not going to do it on the show with you. LA Reed, I invite you to the podcast. LA Reed, I invite you to

  • 44:14

the podcast, too. LA as well. I know you're not going to come pause, but Well, no, that [ __ ] I don't know if it

  • 44:20

was LA's fault, but that was around the time when labels stopped doing artist development and why DefJam was so good at just marketing stars that could never

  • 44:27

build someone. I.e. Big Crit getting the [ __ ] out of here. W doing it all on his own and building himself up. They were funneling the money to all their

  • 44:34

friends. Like besides besides like RCA, what Joe always got the answer behind the scenes? I was there. I was I was at

  • 44:42

Def Jam when LA was there. You right. I was at Dev J. Don't make me invite Peekos up here.

  • 44:49

Peek is more than come up here and sit down and talk. Matter of fact, forget LA. Get Peek on this [ __ ] We should

  • 44:54

get Peek up here. I would love to have P is not sitting down talking. No, no, I wouldn't talk about that. Okay. No, I would talk about what PE would just be

  • 45:00

great. Peek is a great conversationalist. Just period. Agree. I agree. And Peek's wife is a great

  • 45:06

conversationalist. They both Yeah, I would love for him to come up here. I agree. I want to get an executive on my show. But anyway, okay. Outside of that,

  • 45:12

Iron Fist. Have either one of y'all seen it? No, I haven't. Guess I have. Did it?

  • 45:17

Was it viewed during the Met Gather and pause Iron Fist? Yo, those shows getting we got to play

  • 45:24

My Pause every Give me 20 minutes. Yo, wait. All right, so listen. Iron Fist is

  • 45:32

a Marvel a Marvel one of those Marvel series Netflix. Apparently, it been came out as old, but I didn't know that. So,

  • 45:37

I just stumbled upon it. Oh god, I was laughing. Does that mean it was the This is

  • 45:44

awesome. Well, apparently it got killed. It got killed and slammed in the reviews. And I have questions about

  • 45:50

that. Hey listeners and viewership out there, here are my here are my questions about that. To those of you who have

  • 45:56

seen Iron Fist, and I'm not finished it. I'm only at like episode 8. How can

  • 46:01

y'all kill Iron Fist, but y'all loved [ __ ] Luke Cage? Luke Steel. What was his name? Cage. Luke's man. Luke. Yeah,

  • 46:09

that [ __ ] just look like Luke's man walking down the street with mus like Cory.

  • 46:16

Hey, how come y'all could kill uh Iron Fist, but y'all love Luke Cage? Admit

  • 46:22

that [ __ ] was trash, man. Luke Cage was kind of like I didn't get all the hype.

  • 46:27

The new Luke Cage was on Netflix, right? Recently new Luke Cage. I thought there was on Netflix. Maybe I'm not wrong

  • 46:35

person to talk about that. Let me stop before that [ __ ] bust in this room.

  • 46:41

If Luke Cage Listen, man. If Luke Cage I'm not beefing with Luke Cage. I've had enough. I'm not beefing with Luke, man.

  • 46:47

No more beef, man. Uh, I forgot to end the Sean [ __ ]

  • 46:53

Wait, no. I want I don't want to talk about W. I want Telly is not taking Poli. No, I don't want to talk about

  • 47:00

Wall. To end that about the rollouts, I'm sick and tired of the Zayn low roll out. Can we stop sitting an artist with

  • 47:06

questions already and answers ready and Zayn sucks their dick for an hour and a half? Can we stop with this part of the

  • 47:12

roll out? You don't like that? No. And I was happy that the Shawn roll out didn't have that. I feel like Kendrick sat

  • 47:19

there. I was like, "All right, maybe Kendricks will be different." No, he sat there and called him a genius and sucked his dick for an hour. There was answers

  • 47:25

already ready. They did it with Drake. They did it with Kanye. I'm tired of the Zayn Low roll out. Stop with that one.

  • 47:30

Like Zan Low. You like somebody? Sheesh. Well, okay. All right. Go ahead. I like

  • 47:37

everybody. Don't help push the narrative. You don't like it. Don't know. Don't you do that. Who do I not like? Who do I not like? You can't name

  • 47:43

a soul. You can't name one soul that I don't like. You don't You've been public about who you don't like. You didn't like Yachty. That's true. No, that's not

  • 47:50

true. Until you sat down with him. That's not true. Okay. All right. Okay.

  • 47:56

I'm not doing I'm not doing this. Okay. All right. All right. Uh where were we? Wait. This got to be the artwork.

  • 48:03

Who the [ __ ] is that? The guy that was dissing you from Is this [ __ ] Chloe?

  • 48:08

That's got to be Chloe Hernandez. Better get the [ __ ] out of here. I roll bounce

  • 48:14

his ass down the street. You can change his name about 12 times. I will roll bounce that [ __ ] square down a

  • 48:19

driveway. Roll bounce. He's calling me a battle rapper. Just that fast you telling me

  • 48:24

you don't know who I am. Which is fine by the way. Cut from that Chloe. Um [Music]

  • 48:30

that was a battle rap noise. I guess some bars ready for Chloe right quick.

  • 48:36

Man, not even talking to no [ __ ] named Chloe. What else? What else do we have

  • 48:41

to absolutely cover that happened? I know a lot happened. Did a lot happen? I feel like nothing happened. [ __ ] All

  • 48:48

right. Well, let me pull something up. Let's see what the

  • 48:54

record with Migos, Justin Bieber, Chance. I'm not the biggest fan of that record. Michael Jackson. I'm not the

  • 49:00

biggest fan of that record. I'm not either, but it was a good follow up to getting Jay-Z and Beyonce. I agree. It's It's hard to follow those two up. I

  • 49:07

agree. I'm sure I'm going to love his next single, man. level. How you follow that? I think you got to do like a Drake and Jay Cole record or something. That's

  • 49:14

tough to follow up. You got to do like a Drake, Sean, Cole. H cuz Kendrick's not

  • 49:19

going to get on that. Yeah, I think that's what what that's my prediction. Cal is going to

  • 49:25

have some form of that next. Oh, pardon me. Was he talking about Rihanna vocals

  • 49:30

    or some [ __ ] coming in? Oh, I don't I don't I'm not on Snapchat, but I could see you on Snapchat. I don't I don't

  • 49:36

even have the app on my phone and I just saw found Mo on Snapchat yesterday. That's it's for creeping. We don't

  • 49:42

really post on there. Oh yeah. I don't really be on that [ __ ] like that. Yo, what's up with y'all, man? I didn't even

  • 49:48

know you you found me. I didn't I don't be on I'm your friend.

  • 49:54

    You didn't get his snap. Are you? No, I I I don't Do I don't I don't go on that [ __ ] I surprised that like I'm

  • 50:01

surprised you found me to your friend is wild. No, but I know now it's like your content. Don't worry. I'm not going to

  • 50:07

click it. I'm not going to let it load and Oh, look at that. Joe Button added me. Okay. Come on, dog. Let me give him

  • 50:14

    a snap out. That's not a [ __ ] like give my government out then. The [ __ ] out of

  • 50:20

Joe Button calls out Little Yachty's [ __ ] during heated debate on everyday struggle. Is that what the

  • 50:26

headlines are saying? Hip-hop DX. Yeah, whatever. Um, I need to go. I need

  • 50:32

to since y'all say I never say when I'm wrong. Last week I was asking y'all to tell me what Nike shoe came out that um

  • 50:39

was that was that had the Adidas style that Adidas Jack Nike and

  • 50:45

everybody in the mentions made sure to tell me I was wrong. So I want to say I was wrong. But no, they're saying that the three head designers or something

  • 50:52

like that left Nike and went to Adidas. So that's why we're seeing all the Adidas need. I don't give a [ __ ] what happened. Adidas is killing [ __ ] Yeah,

  • 50:59

we didn't disagree. Maul schooled me this year. I mean, uh, the other day on Yeah. On what? Yeah.

  • 51:08

    Let's just get all my wrong [ __ ] out the way. I didn't I didn't know that. Shut up, Rory. I didn't know that. I didn't know

  • 51:15

that everybody thought Gordon Hayward was better than Carmemelllo Anthony. Today, yes.

  • 51:21

Absolutely. I'm having a hard time coming to grips with that. I know. If Melo wasn't on the Knicks, you wouldn't come have a hard time. It's not true. If

  • 51:27

he was still in Denver, you wouldn't have a hard time. It's not true. Agreeing with that. Playing like he's playing. You wouldn't. You wouldn't.

  • 51:33

It's not fair. I mean, Melo is a great player, man. He's just What does Gordon Hayward do

  • 51:38

better than Carmelo Anthony? Now, wait, time out. Before the listeners kill me here, I get that you base you base it on

  • 51:45

upside. I get that he's younger. I understand all of that. I'm only talking about skill. What does Gordon Hayward do

  • 51:52

better? And every time I say that, y'all start telling me he's more coachable. He's more likable in the locker room. his teammate. He He's a better team

  • 51:59

player. He He He plays more in in the system. He plays better team basketball.

  • 52:05

He's And he shoots pro probably better than Melo does. Don't do that. He

  • 52:10

probably scores just as well. All right. All right. This conversation is officially over. I don't know. I don't know what Melo did to turn you off.

  • 52:16

Melo. No, I'm just saying it's Melo is one of the greatest scorers the league has ever seen. Gordon Haywood does not

  • 52:21

score the ball as well as Carmelo. He doesn't rebound the ball as well as Carmelo. He doesn't shoot the ball as much. All right. So, he's more

  • 52:27

efficient. So, now you have something against volume people. But you love Alen Iverson. You love Russell Westbrook. You love

  • 52:33

Kobe Bryant. Yeah, but they're these are volume people. Yeah, but my thing is if you're going to be a volume guy, you

  • 52:39

have to be effective in all areas. All right, that's fine. I don't mind being wrong about that. That's fine. Let's

  • 52:44

stick with Melo for two seconds. Okay. And let's get back to the Met Gala, which y'all laughed at me for wanting to bring up. However, there was very

  • 52:51

important petty evidence. Petty evidence. Yes. Well, if we if you love

  • 52:57

Petty like I love Petty and y'all love Petty. No, you love this is Hall of Fame

  • 53:02

Petty. Yeah. Laala. I love Lala. Friend of the show. You got to be

  • 53:08

careful when you cheat, man. Yeah. I don't know. I'm not You You're

  • 53:15

the relationship expert. So you this Take it away. Whoa. Take it away. I am so not the relationship expert. Let's be

  • 53:22

clear there. I am not the relationship expert. But a a ring on every finger but the

  • 53:28

ring finger. Yeah. Come on, talk about it. That means you

  • 53:34

[ __ ] you know, man, round of applause. Hold up, man. That deserves a round of applause. Round of applause. What? Come

  • 53:40

on now. Petty, you're on the side of Petty. I'm always on the side of the Well, in real

  • 53:47

life, if we have to be real. Yes, of course I'm on team pray for Melo. I [ __ ] with Melo and I love Melo. I'm a Nick

  • 53:53

fan and he probably plays ball better than Lala does. So yeah, I'm rolling, but I'm conflicted. I love Power, too. I

  • 54:00

love Power. I love Power. What happened to Power? We still don't know. Lala's kind of snitching, right? Because we

  • 54:06

don't know what happened to her, but on her Instagram, she's telling us that she's on the set of Power. So now we I

  • 54:11

thought you might have died on the show. That's what I'm saying. Kind of alluding to like he went in the Oh, if you live

  • 54:17

alive, Tommy [ __ ] They got to die on camera for them to really die. Do you

  • 54:23

still believe in your power theory? June 25th power is coming back June 25th.

  • 54:28

Loren Tate that Loren Tate is taking Ghost. Is Ghost going to die? And then Loren takes the new boss. I think Lurren

  • 54:34

Tate is going to take him out. Wait, didn't we confirm that he was the lawyer or some [ __ ] Yeah, but I still

  • 54:39

think I still think he going to flip on the

  • 54:45

kingpin and then LA is going to come without the ring finger. I think Lorren Tate going to kill that [ __ ] He going to, you know, he's a lawyer, so he knows

  • 54:51

how to wiggle his way out of things. When When you from the hood, you just got to die with being wrong. When you

  • 54:57

wrong, you just got to continue to roll with it. That's like, that's like remember when you had to die with the lie? You

  • 55:04

still You still do. Wait, y'all still die with the lie? Absolutely. What?

  • 55:10

Wait a minute. Let's talk about this. Can Are y'all allowed to even talk about this? First of all, Mo, who are you

  • 55:16

lying to? Number one, you should you shouldn't be lying to anybody. I I lie sometimes just to see if I still got it.

  • 55:23

See if I can still get it off for real. Yeah, [ __ ] What you mean? You're practicing lies. Yeah, absolutely. For

  • 55:29

when you need a lie. Yeah. So, I I see how to see what works out there. There was a put in those thousand hours. There

  • 55:34

was a point in time where I was just practicing speaking to women, different

  • 55:40

women, strange women from all walks of life. Pardon me. Just so I had the practice. Mhm. Pardon me again, soda. Of

  • 55:47

speaking to different women and just being witty and just coming up with conversation on the fly. So, I kind of

  • 55:52

feel what you're saying. Yeah. Well, you got to practice that [ __ ] man. Men flirt just for practice. There's plenty

  • 55:58

of times I've just flirted to waste time. Like, I had no interest in dealing with that woman or continuing on or even

  • 56:05

asking for a number. I just flirt to flirt. Well, let me tell you what women's go-to is. And there's not a woman here, so it's not really fair that

  • 56:10

we do this. So, I'm not going to stay on this. This is the He-Man woman haters club. if you didn't know. No, we love

  • 56:16

women. That's not true. I love women. I mean, we Yeah, we're not gay. Well, their go-to though when when you say

  • 56:22

[ __ ] like that is, okay, but how do you feel if that's done to you? That's a famous woman go-to. Oh, I don't really

  • 56:29

care. How do I feel about what's done to me? Like what what Rory just said, like if the shoes on the other foot, I I

  • 56:35

wouldn't care if a woman just flirts with me just to see if she can still flirt. Like if your girl if your girl is out just flirting with Brandon saying

  • 56:41

like that [ __ ] just to see if she still got it. Well, no. When I flirt like that, it's not beast mode. Like, it's just I understand that. I'm saying,

  • 56:49

is that a double standard from us? No. Why Mo, what's up? Why you looking at me? I'm asking you a I know you haven't

  • 56:54

been in a relationship. I'm asking though. That's That's the end of my question. He's going to murder that woman. Listen,

  • 57:00

man. You better not ever flirt. Practice flirt on me. I'mma

  • 57:06

practice kill on you. Practice kill on you. [ __ ] you mean crazy. The views of this pug is that

  • 57:13

reflect. Yeah. Me, you know, you got to chill. What you mean chill? What? Practice flirt turn into [ __ ] uh real

  • 57:20

real sex. You sound like the [ __ ] that women say now. Yeah, it does. So

  • 57:26

everyone [ __ ] by what? Women make it sound like you just about

  • 57:32

to mistake fall in some ass and just without knowing it. That's how they make

  • 57:37

it sound. All of that one thing leads to another. No, no, no, no, no, no. That's why I always stop it. No, describe to me

  • 57:44

the one thing that leads to another because aren't I there and aren't I aware in that? Don't take two people to

  • 57:50

go through with this. Right. That's what I always say. But if if I'm listening to you, you say I'm like what they say to

  • 57:55

that. No, I agree with what you're saying. You've never just flirted with a chick with no intention of every day

  • 58:02

flirts with a chick. You see his like history? Not every day. Is like is a

  • 58:08

like a flirt? Yeah. Like is a flirt? [ __ ] Get the [ __ ] out of here. No, it's not. A like is not a flirt. I just like

  • 58:15

it's not. No, it's don't do that. I'm not flirting with the sky when you post a sunset. No, it's not. It's not a flirt. I'm easily misunderstood without

  • 58:22

context. Let me explain myself. Go ahead. A like

  • 58:28

can be. But now you're changing a flirt. Now you're changing the whole But a flirty thing can be is

  • 58:35

not necessarily alike. Yes, I know that's confusing, but yeah, I a flirt can be alike. It can be. And I dare

  • 58:42

y'all to tell me that it can't. No, it can be. Y'all have never liked the picture back to back. I've gone back 60

  • 58:48

    weeks, too. That's a flirt. I've seen y'all y'all are 60 week gangsters. I

  • 58:55

ain't going to lie. Sometimes I scroll back just to see y'all 79 weeks ago. You

  • 59:01

keep bringing this up to me like I'm going to like shy away from it and be like, "Yo, you right, Joe. I'm bugging."

  • 59:06

No, [ __ ] Before Before the DMs, you used to scroll back 75 weeks and drop your number in the comments. That was

  • 59:12

before DM came around. But that's We need to bring that back. I'm still

  • 59:17

trying to get sidekick to come back. I was the man with that sidekick to come back. Let's never bring the sidekicks

  • 59:22

back. You didn't have sidekick. No, I wasn't part of the side. Excuse me. Cool

  • 59:28

[ __ ] Bronx scammer man. Too cool for a [ __ ] sidekick. It was mad. You had

  • 59:33

a two-way. You had two ways, right? Thought he was cool enough for a two-way. Absolutely. Pop City Anthem.

  • 59:39

Very underrated record. Shout out to Tai Murder. Oh man. That was a great two-way alert. That was the era where Oh, with

  • 59:47

different songs. Yeah. On the two Oh, man. Yeah. That was That was the That That was like when you had your two-way

  • 59:53

and and you had to Too young for a two-way. Well, I was around I just was too young to have a two-way. No. Really?

  • 59:59

Yeah. Oh, all us New Yorkers felt so important beaming our contacts to one

  • 1:00:04

another. That was a [ __ ] Be me your contact. Yeah, that was a [ __ ] We were so extra with them shits. Yeah, I still

  • 1:00:10

have mine laying around somewhere. Yeah, I got about four of them in the in the in the in the in the closet. Um, let's

  • 1:00:16

see. All right, so was beaming a chick. Was that flirting? Oh, you had it in the bag. I don't see

  • 1:00:21

how y'all think liking liking a picture is not flirting, honestly. No, 100%.

  • 1:00:27

I can see how liking a picture could be flirting, but just because you like a picture doesn't mean That's true.

  • 1:00:32

All right. More likely than not, is it seen as flirting from the recipient of the like?

  • 1:00:38

No, cuz there's another 10,000. Like, if I like if I if I like if I like Bernie's picture right now, she's not going to

  • 1:00:44

think I'm flirting. If Melo likes Bernie's picture right now, she's going to think he's flirting.

  • 1:00:50

Yeah, it's Bernie's gonna think he's flirting, too. No, she's not. She's not gonna even see my Well, not just not just with Instagram. Men can like

  • 1:00:57

something and not want it. Like, that's a thing I don't think women understand. So, I could just flirt with you. I mean,

  • 1:01:02

I want you. We don't have very much evidence of being able to do that. Yeah. We just speak about it, right? That's

  • 1:01:09

mad. There's mad [ __ ] I like that I don't want. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like, all right. So, he could

  • 1:01:14

like Bernice ship. Uh, but when he is he going to pursue it? No. No, I'm not. Are

  • 1:01:20

y'all watching the last season of TI and Tiny's show? I didn't watch the first season,

  • 1:01:25

bro. Man, Phil, get the [ __ ] out of here. Who [ __ ] No, I'm No, I'm not watching

  • 1:01:33

it. No, I don't think that show is for me. Okay. You don't love family? I love

  • 1:01:38

    family, but it's not I don't think it's for me. We can't talk about [ __ ] on here. Everything not for y'all. Y'all

  • 1:01:44

ignorant. Wait for not watching. Tiny and ti watch love and hip hop. I don't

  • 1:01:49

watch a lot of that [ __ ] The tables are turning. Tiny just got that little biopic with Mona. Perfect timing for

  • 1:01:55

that should be interesting. Now, is is Tip in that Who's playing Tip?

  • 1:02:00

Are you playing? I don't want Tippus should not be in an escape bio biopic. When did he come? When did they start dating?

  • 1:02:07

She was definitely I think in Escape. They were still active. I think they were still active. I'm going to be mad if they show me TI and in Escape's

  • 1:02:13

biopic. Why? That Cleo kid going to play because in Escape story we never heard

  • 1:02:19

Ti because they should have show cuz he was Whitney Houston edition biopic.

  • 1:02:25

Wait, what? Did they show Whitney? No, they showed like the back of her head at the end of uh what uh you Yeah, they put

  • 1:02:31

her likeness in there somehow. Oh, they did. I mean, I guess I'm not mad if they want to show that aspect of relationship

  • 1:02:36

part, but Escape has so much going on with [ __ ] Jermaine Debris and publishing and beefs and Yeah, they

  • 1:02:42

story is real. Where do they have time to get to TI which in the story which

  • 1:02:47

just put like a shadow figure with his hat tilted in the corner and we'll just know his t. Ti wasn't Ti.

  • 1:02:54

I think he was with it for a while. Yeah, I don't think he was. I don't even know who he might have been. I'm talking about Yeah. When escape was escape.

  • 1:03:00

Yeah. I don't think he was really on like that yet. He might have been had a few mixed up. Well, I thought y'all

  • 1:03:05

would have been keeping up since it's like a really big deal that that's the last season. Well, no. I might because

  • 1:03:11

of all that's happened in the pettiness between the two like LA. I might pay attention now to see what all this promo

  • 1:03:18

was for. All this fake pettiness that y'all went back and forth and did. So, I might tune in. There's a lot going on

  • 1:03:23

doing a lot too. I know we don't care about that, but they doing a lot on that show, too. Reality TV is getting a little, but I'm not. Who's your top five

  • 1:03:30

petty? 50 and game are tied.

  • 1:03:37

[ __ ] are great. They are great. They are elite petty. 50 is probably number

  • 1:03:42

one. I would say number one. He's amazing at that [ __ ] Um, Lala move.

  • 1:03:47

That LA move is a great move. Quiet is kept. Drake is pretty petty, too.

  • 1:03:54

Am would have to speak to that. Uh Beyonce has her petty moments. I

  • 1:04:00

about to say I was about to say y'all can't name a petty list and not have somebody's baby mother on there

  • 1:04:05

somewhere. Who's baby mas are the most petty women walking the earth? Future's pretty

  • 1:04:12

petty. Future's petty. Damn. Future Future's a baby. Yeah. And

  • 1:04:17

Scotty Pippen wife chick is petty, too. She's more than petty, but we'll leave

  • 1:04:22

it at that. [ __ ] Left eye is pretty petty. She burned his house down. Rest in peace.

  • 1:04:28

Yeah. Rest in peace to left eye. Oh, they just passed I think uh her her passing date. Women were celebrating

  • 1:04:34

left eye burning Andre Ryzen's house down and women were celebrating celebrating

  • 1:04:39

that. He was outside the house dancing. And women celebrate the Angela Basset

  • 1:04:45

famous uh throw this light the cigarette waiting next light the fire on uh light

  • 1:04:51

the car on fire. What is uh the female fascination with arson?

  • 1:04:57

They just think burning out like they think that that's like yeah [ __ ] you ain't got [ __ ] no more.

  • 1:05:03

Like I'm going just go get some more [ __ ] I think and you going to jail. Well, no. I think cuz they can't really

  • 1:05:09

hit us cuz they Well, no. No. Effectively, I'm saying I'm scared I'm

  • 1:05:15

scared of fire. So if you burn my [ __ ] I might walk away. No, I'm I'm scared of fire. Burn

  • 1:05:22

my [ __ ] You running into your burning house. I'm not Don't play with my Don't Don't light nothing on fire, ma.

  • 1:05:31

Don't light nothing on fire, ma. Mama, will definitely light all your [ __ ] phone pits on fire.

  • 1:05:40

Mo, I got to get into you. I'm just saying you'll be tight. I don't wear phone pits. But you got you got you got

  • 1:05:46

a bunch of them. I gave them all away more. Oh, I I didn't know. I don't have one single phone pocket. Okay. So, all

  • 1:05:51

of your Yeezys. And I'm shocked that if she burn your new Blancos, what you

  • 1:05:57

going to do? Uh oh. Chris, what you going to do? Chris,

  • 1:06:04

you're going to laugh. What you going to do if you go home right now? Your Blanos? No. No. No. Send on it like that. We can't play. No.

  • 1:06:13

Yeah. But when there's a certain amount S from New York, we you're proving this

  • 1:06:19

more, right? No, S don't play like that. Oh, I'm not saying she's not capable. Okay. All women are capable. Everybody's

  • 1:06:25

capable. I don't put very much faith in humans. Okay. But yeah, I'm not going to play with her like that. Um I know. I

  • 1:06:30

know. Oh, that's why she's not going to do it. She's not going to play. All right. Of course, I'm not going to play with you. [ __ ] Are you kidding me?

  • 1:06:36

Well, I think I'm going try to be tough in my relationship. Hell no. Um want to beef with everyone else. [ __ ] Chloe

  • 1:06:42

Beverly. [ __ ] Yo, you got to stop. I mean, come on, man. You changed his name like 17 times.

  • 1:06:49

Ro bounce. Oh, are you kidding me? The gall of this guy. That's what

  • 1:06:57

you want to say. I can't believe that the [ __ ] from Rob had the gall

  • 1:07:05

questioning, pump it up, man. Yeah, [ __ ] It's a wild beef. He want to know

  • 1:07:11

what makes you the ambassador to the people. I'm not. That's what was funny

  • 1:07:17

about all that. I'm not. Who the [ __ ] is saying all that outside of you? You dictate all our opinions if we want. I

  • 1:07:22

actually think he gave you more credit than you. The whole time I was like, "No one." He making Joe sound crazy dope

  • 1:07:28

right now. Like Joe ain't that. You make me sound not as dope as I am only because only because you got to keep

  • 1:07:35

your No, I got another theory. No, that's my job. As a friend, I'm supposed to always keep you at a point where you

  • 1:07:41

like, damn, I got to do more. No, but you said I set the culture back like 50 years, and I'm only being truthful. He's

  • 1:07:48

being truthful with you. I'm 36 years old. But I'm supposed to say that. I'm supposed to say, Joe, you're doing a great job, bro. Kill him out there. When

  • 1:07:54

you just came here, told me I got to you got to teach me how to context, right, and all this other [ __ ] Content. Well, whatever you say. You came at me crazy.

  • 1:08:01

Like, what are your paws? What are what are y'all doing for Memorial Day weekend? Anything?

  • 1:08:06

I'll probably be at your pool. What day is What is Memorial? That's in May. This is a wild podcast. I'll probably be at

  • 1:08:12

your pool. Yeah, I'll be at your pool. My pool closed like a [ __ ] [ __ ] I'll hop right over that little gate, man. I ain't worried. I'm talking

  • 1:08:18

about the actual pool is closed. You ain't got no water in your pool yet? No, you islanding. You got You got to put

  • 1:08:24

water in your That guy. Yeah, put water in your pool, man. You can't do that. Don't Don't be that guy on the block

  • 1:08:29

with no water in your pool in May. I'm That's crazy. Yeah, don't do that degrees today. Well, well, if I checked

  • 1:08:35

the I was that guy. I checked the weather, the 15-day forecast, not the Apple 7-day one. We ain't getting no

  • 1:08:41

pool weather in the next 15 days. Ain't like that. Yeah. No, I mean, it ain't going to be ain't like that. But that weekend before Memorial Day weekend now.

  • 1:08:49

Yeah. Well, last time that [ __ ] told Maul to come come through, set it up on a nice Sunday at the crib. I ain't even

  • 1:08:55

going to tell you what was going on, man. Wait, wait, wait. Is that what's happening? Y told M to set it up. Y'all

  • 1:09:01

told M to set it up cuz that's not what happened. It wasn't M set it up. Don't do that. Don't do that. Please don't do

  • 1:09:08

that. Yeah, you can air horn all you want on Mo setting up the pool. Yeah, do

  • 1:09:13

it. That wasn't on me, [ __ ] Don't do that. Okay, don't do that. Let's hear both sides of the

  • 1:09:19

case. I'm only talking [ __ ] I'm only talking [ __ ] I'm just saying Mo. Mo and And again, that's me being stuck in the

  • 1:09:26

time caps. So, Mo used to be the friend where you can go to him tell tell them to send send something through and the

  • 1:09:32

line of them line up. That's old Mo. I could still do that, but I was never told to do that. I don't know if that

  • 1:09:37

mall will be on display on the day of the pool party, but since he's the only

  • 1:09:42

single friend that we have, who the hell else is going to see to it that this [ __ ] gets rocking? Say no. Say no more.

  • 1:09:48

We will have a recap. We will have a recap. And when it's crazy, give me the credit. I don't want to hear your Joe

  • 1:09:54

Button influencer Complex credit. Give me the Complex is going to have Yeah. I don't want to hear that [ __ ] I'm giving

  • 1:09:59

Complex the credit for a pool party. Crazy. I'm like, you ain't going to lie. If you're in New York, New Jersey, you

  • 1:10:05

should not have a pool party this summer. Honestly, really, I know some of y'all going to try it. Talk some [ __ ] Air Fab's going to host it cuz y'all

  • 1:10:11

love getting Fab to host a pool party. Him and Clue. Him and Clue. Every summer

  • 1:10:16

him and Clue is going to cuz I'll be wanting to go and

  • 1:10:23

Yeah, but it's always like mad far. I'm not driving to go. Uh oh. Hi Bloo is on

  • 1:10:29

uh Memorial Day weekend. That's what I'm doing. Cinco de Mayo Friday. Cinco de Mayo. Cinco See, every time I ask y'all

  • 1:10:35

what's coming up, y'all just ignore me. Cinco de Mayo's coming up. My birthday's the day. Anytime you could buy I'm

  • 1:10:41

talking about important this week. It's on Thursday. Oh [ __ ] Wait, where when is where's the hya? Anything for Rory to

  • 1:10:48

be able to drink more. When is I don't need my birthday for that. Where's uh Henny Puzza for Memorial? Uh it's at

  • 1:10:53

Coney Island. Glad that you asked, M. Why don't we tell you? Uh it's at Coney

  • 1:10:58

Island in Brooklyn. We have a lot of surprise guest that will announce. All right. It's different this time. Okay. Some surprise. You had fun last year

  • 1:11:05

though. No. Yeah. Yeah. That wasn't a year ago already. Yeah. No, it was in September. No, no, no, no. That was the

  • 1:11:11

end of last summer. Still, that's damn near. Yeah. They ain't far off. Time flies. Yeah. Yeah. That was great. Joe

  • 1:11:18

performed Pump It Up. Mhm. They really loved that. They did. They did. They

  • 1:11:23

really did. It was you and Just Blaze. I'm not even trying to be funny. They they they like they love that. They love I would have never asked you to do it if

  • 1:11:29

I thought people would hated it. Yeah. Thanks, Rory. You don't embrace Pump It Up, man. Thanks, guys. You really don't.

  • 1:11:34

Let's talk about that a little bit. Yo, we was Let's get into that little bit. Let's talk about that a little bit with

  • 1:11:40

this little No, no, for real. Because Joe really does not like you hate when people bring up Pump It Up. That is a

  • 1:11:46

monumental record. He got booked at some club in Queens that we went to that was a really, really, really nice spot. We

  • 1:11:51

ended up going there a lot after that. He performed Pump It Up. And when I say a hundred white [ __ ] ran to the front

  • 1:11:57

of that little ass stage, women, white women, that bitch's word is so strong. I

  • 1:12:03

didn't realize I said it. Yeah, I say [ __ ] a whole lot, too. I got to stop that. You say a lot of things already.

  • 1:12:08

How am I going to take over the [ __ ] late night talk show scene this way? 50 going to do that already, though. Hey

  • 1:12:14

50, you have to beat up 50 Cent. Check it out. Fitty 50. Yeah. Late night.

  • 1:12:21

I'm interested in that in that show. I am too cuz cuz 50 is one of those rappers that you don't think is well

  • 1:12:27

spoken. He's well spoken, well articulate. Do people still think that? Hell yeah. What was it? I'm sorry. I was

  • 1:12:33

reading that 50 isn't well spoken. 50 is very well spoken. A lot of people don't feel that way though. Well, 50 is late

  • 1:12:39

night television. Witty and charismatic. Um, and he has so much so many great

  • 1:12:45

things happening in that uh TV world. I'm shocked to see it on BET, but BET,

  • 1:12:51

much like Complex, they're they're flushing and gutting and they're doing a whole lot of new programming. Steven

  • 1:12:57

Hill, they they let go recently. I thought I read that his goodbye letter here. Really? I missed that one. Steven

  • 1:13:03

Hill is not part of BT anymore. Yeah. No, he's not. Wait, I didn't discuss that here. I missed that. No, that was

  • 1:13:09

Yeah, that was I thought I read his whole retire. Uh, not retire. I'm sorry. You got another podcast we don't know

  • 1:13:15

about. I'm trying to get one. Yeah, but uh so they're they're doing a

  • 1:13:20

whole lot of gutting over at BET, so that program should be programming should be real ill, too. I follow IrvGTI

  • 1:13:26

on Instagram and doing some TV. He's doing something I think with BET as well. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Tales. Yeah,

  • 1:13:32

that's interesting. About uh uh do uh certain records in hip-hop, like moments in hip-hop when certain records I think

  • 1:13:38

were were out or coming out, something like that. and he's kind of making reenacting like moments I guess around

  • 1:13:45

he getting a lot of real real real good people over there. Yeah, he's taking songs that are stories and making them

  • 1:13:52

like look also said or hinted to

  • 1:13:57

uh a Supreme Team uh Doc

  • 1:14:02

I mean if anyone would do it it would be Herb. That would be interesting. That would be great. Can that happen?

  • 1:14:10

Not loosely. I mean, is he out of appeals? I mean, I think at this point, everyone that was involved in that is

  • 1:14:16

either locked up or has done their time. Listen, this stuff is way too street for me. I'm checking out.

  • 1:14:22

Listen, bro. Beefing with Khloe Beverly is one thing. Giving all the intricate details

  • 1:14:27

of the Supreme Teams operation is way beyond nip. Sorry, buddy. Leave a turf.

  • 1:14:35

Anyway, Cinco de Mayo. No one was looking. Oh, where's Joe Button to do

  • 1:14:40

the Pream Duck? Yeah, but I'm saying y'all [ __ ] got me so paranoid cuz y'all [ __ ] in the group chat. Oh my

  • 1:14:46

Where the [ __ ] was. Look where [ __ ] is [ __ ] That's crazy. In the group chat. That is funny. Uh are we going are

  • 1:14:53

we going right to sleepers since we don't want to talk about uh Friday's Cinco de Mayo plans? I'll be in DC. So

  • 1:15:00

there's Hy Palooa on that day too. What are you doing on for single de Mayo? Uh

  • 1:15:06

I'm coming. I might go by my man uh Von spot. I might go by NV Harlem. Yeah, I might go by MVV Friday. Rocky was

  • 1:15:13

telling me she was going to go by there on a Monday and then I was calling her thirsty cuz now you just looking for somewhere to be on a Monday. She trying

  • 1:15:20

to slide down. Cinco de Mayo event um up there. So I might just stop by there. Toy is doing a Cinco de Mayo event. Toy

  • 1:15:26

has been done a Cinco de Mayo event for the last six years that I can remember. Yeah, but I haven't been outside in six years.

  • 1:15:33

That's a wild look. You haven't been outside in six years. You was just in aces, [ __ ] Get out of here. When was I

  • 1:15:40

in AC? See, now you about to give me trouble for send text you right now.

  • 1:15:48

Oh [ __ ] Uh, well, anyone in DC, Henny Palooa is sold out, but we're doing a

  • 1:15:53

day party at stadium on Sunday. This [ __ ] will always promote the sellout party at stadium. I'm saying a lot of

  • 1:15:59

people were trying to get the DC tickets, but they were sold out. doing an an additional day party at stadium. When is any pla in DC? On Friday. This

  • 1:16:06

Friday. Mhm. Doing it with Broccoli City Fest which is on Saturday and then Sunday we're

  • 1:16:12

with the strippers during the day. There's food open bar Hennessy tickets.com.

  • 1:16:20

That sounds interesting. All right, I'm down. Day party with strippers is different.

  • 1:16:26

Not for Jojo be at the strip club in the daytime all the time. Mo, you are pushing a false narrative on me that

  • 1:16:32

does not exist. I don't go to I don't go to strip. That was in 2011.

  • 1:16:38

That was the last of my pump it up savings. Check. That's some wild.

  • 1:16:45

Oh, we going to sleepers, man. Unless y'all have something real important to add. I've been talking all day. I have

  • 1:16:51

all types of headaches and migraines and all types of wild [ __ ] Talking was anything else NBA talking is tiring,

  • 1:16:56

man. Well, no. You talk aggressively. You yell. He throw that bang things. I didn't mean to do that. The producer has

  • 1:17:02

to fix that. Fix you yelling. Yes. Okay. They just turn him up. He's actually

  • 1:17:07

speaking very quiet. Well, why do I have the earpiece in my ear if you're not going to tell me the way things are looking and sounding on the set? I'm in

  • 1:17:13

the moment. I'm passionate. Listen, when you only think real, you the only thing fake. Oh god. All right. So, who what we

  • 1:17:18

got for I was uh NBA playoffs. I know we just did. Are the Spurs done? Want to be hype beast with a with a hot take real

  • 1:17:24

quick. I've been saying the Spurs are done for six years. I'm not going to say it no more cuz I've been wrong for six years. Yeah, but for six years you've

  • 1:17:30

been saying the Clippers going to win a championship, too. So, what happens with the Clippers? 100%. Parks can attest. Every year you pick the Clippers to win

  • 1:17:36

a championship for at least since No, the last No, the last Before the Warriors ever won a chip, you

  • 1:17:42

were picking the Clippers. So, that was like two years only one. That was like two years ago. Yeah. Before the Warriors

  • 1:17:48

became the Warriors. What did they do? What did they do? Uh, they need a three, man. They need a

  • 1:17:55

small forward. They needed a three before the season started. Yeah, they and they had you didn't

  • 1:18:01

like something. No, I don't like Babu at all. I think defensive stopper. Who has

  • 1:18:07

he stop? Every time I looked up in the Utah series, he was getting a game-winning shot, hitting his face. I didn't understand what he was stopping.

  • 1:18:14

He didn't stop very much. He didn't stop anything. No, he saw Yeah, he can go, man. They need They need to address that. The Clippers address that. Come

  • 1:18:20

back. Everybody's healthy. I don't know. They pissed off the basketball guard somewhere. They can't stay healthy in the playoffs. Why does Melo get more

  • 1:18:26

flak than Chris Paul? Because Chris Paul plays Paul's harder all around. I'm

  • 1:18:32

saying for for one of the greats that does nothing and Chris Paul's in the West every year. Chris Paul's in a

  • 1:18:37

tougher conference, but he still doesn't deliver just like Melo. Melo Melo doesn't even get to the playoffs. We not

  • 1:18:42

listen, we're not doing this right now. Tell me where Dwayne Wade ends up next year.

  • 1:18:48

I think he I think he should resign with uh if if if if Chicago can keep Rondo, I think they should bring those three back

  • 1:18:55

cuz they had Boston out of here if Rondo was healthy. All your first round picks were wrong. By the way, I mean, people

  • 1:19:01

got hurt. What you I mean, okay, listen. I hate to be this guy. Uh this is the

  • 1:19:08

point of the podcast where if you're a woman and you're listening Well, no, let me not say that cuz a lot of women know

  • 1:19:13

about sports. I hate to be the guy to gas up his football team because you like the draft pick.

  • 1:19:19

Mhm. Manadoo going to air that [ __ ] out in September. And I have the Giants in

  • 1:19:25

the Super Bowl. So I want to say that now. Oh, cuz y'all got the tight end, right? Yeah, that Evans kid from Old

  • 1:19:30

Miss. So now him the Giants in the Super Bowl. him with Brandon Marshall, with

  • 1:19:36

Odell, with Sterling Shepard, with the secondary still. That

  • 1:19:44

O line is questionable still. Y'all live and die by Eli, though. They have all the weapons in the world. You live and

  • 1:19:50

die by Eli. I'll take it. I would like to live and die with Eli. I'm not mad at that at all. But you think he looks

  • 1:19:56

good? There are a million. I thought he looked amazing in the playoff game that we got our ass handed to us in. Uh, and

  • 1:20:03

I think that's why the Giants made the changes that they made. But anytime they win the Super Bowl, Eli looks like [ __ ]

  • 1:20:09

in the regular season. I don't see why that's a valid argument.

  • 1:20:14

Listen, I'm saying you think he's looking good now. Every time he looks good in the regular season, they don't do [ __ ] This is hyper. It took for me

  • 1:20:21

miraculous [ __ ] catches to beat us in the Super Bowl. I'm not sold. Oh, wait. Are we even hearing from our sons over

  • 1:20:28

here? Yeah, I'm not even I loved watching that Super Bowl with you, by the way. That was the first one that we

  • 1:20:35

watched together. Oh, man. That was great. No, that was the second one. Mo just knew that game was over until it wasn't. That was great. Anyway, all

  • 1:20:42

right. Off of sports. On to sleeper. Sleeper. Sleeper. Sleeper. Sleeper.

  • 1:20:47

Learning some gangster [ __ ] this week. All right, you go first. Maybe I should go first. Yeah, you should. Cuz it's

  • 1:20:52

going to be a body in the booth. Oh, man. [ __ ] you talking about? Be a check

  • 1:20:57

in your account. All right, let's see what Maul's playing for the bag this week. No, I'm playing

  • 1:21:04

this [ __ ] for the freebie. I always play my [ __ ] for So, you have played something for the bag before? No, never.

  • 1:21:13

Never. I need a court, man. Y'all [ __ ] looking at me like I'm on Still staring

  • 1:21:18

at how nice your hat was. No, this can't Oh, I was about to say this can't be. Oh, I was thinking it was

  • 1:21:24

That S project is dope. It's really good. The whole project's called into I'm just I'm sad now.

  • 1:27:01

Made me sad. Well, we're like Yachty and we're happy. So, leave us out of it. Yeah, but you're happy all the time.

  • 1:27:10

You're happy all the time. Tell somebody he's not happy all the time. That's Yeah, that's for

  • 1:27:17

How you mad that he's happy? How you going? Only Joe is mad at somebody being happy. Why you going to lie to me and say I'm happy all the time? Just tell me

  • 1:27:24

I don't want to answer your [ __ ] questions. [ __ ] you. Pump it up, man. I'm happy all the time. Yeah, I know.

  • 1:27:30

In the music business. Happy. I got you. Was Coach K there? Mhm. Coach K's always That's why you didn't cross that line.

  • 1:27:37

    He's always there with Yachty. Coach K. I'm just talking [ __ ]

  • 1:27:43

Yo, funny. Craig, y'all don't know Craig. But Craig's kind of funny. We all know a Craig though. Yeah, that's true.

  • 1:27:50

Very common name. But this morning, he comes to me and says, "Yo, Yachti said, "Make sure you keep that same energy."

  • 1:27:57

Yeah. He say that. Yeah. Oh, I [ __ ] Yo, Yachti. I'll [ __ ] with you. Yo, I like that. Craig said that. I'm not saying

  • 1:28:03

Yachti said that. Oh, I thought No, he didn't really say that. No, no, no. Oh,

  • 1:28:08

I thought you said Yachty told Craig to tell you to have that same energy when he would be hard, right? Yeah, that's

  • 1:28:14

why I said, [ __ ] I'll [ __ ] with that. That would be hard. So, this song that I'mma play is

  • 1:28:20

um Hey, now I feel self-conscious. These [ __ ] going to tell my song's not

  • 1:28:25

sleepers. Here we go. Like, I'm telling y'all he's not happy.

  • 1:28:30

All right. This is Party Next Door. Oh, the with the Oh boy. What? He got a

  • 1:28:37

new song with someone that's popular. That's a good song. Oh, I like that song. I think it starts with this. Not

  • 1:28:43

that song. That's Zane. Yeah, there you go. That record's good. That song is uh Yeah, Zane. Still Got Time featuring

  • 1:28:49

Party Next Door. But no, this is a song and I'm only going to play this song because it was never actually released.

  • 1:28:55

There was like a OVO radio a while back. I guess that's before the party first

  • 1:29:01

one of them party projects was supposed to drop and they was playing some fire and some of that fire never got released. Uh and I kept one of them

  • 1:29:07

[ __ ] I don't even know the name of it. So I titled it somewhere we can go. I

  • 1:29:14

don't know if that's the name of it. So Maul can tell us later. Oio radio.

  • 1:29:21

But I love this song. He should have did something with this. I got that in my system. Why you

  • 1:29:28

never put this out? Mo got the MP3 if you want it though. [Music]

  • 1:29:36

Night and hate you when I wake up. Girl, do you feel how I'm feeling? Baby, give me some love. Come give me some of your

  • 1:29:43

love. Come give me some of your turn on the radio, baby.

  • 1:29:49

I just make sure you're ready, baby. Cuz I'm down for anything. Tell me when you

  • 1:29:54

ready, baby. Time is everything. Tell me when you're ready, baby. Cuz you know,

  • 1:30:07

what is he saying right here? I always thought he was saying we can go.

  • 1:30:20

Do you feel how I'm feeling? Baby, give me your love. Come give me some of your love. Come give me some of your life. Oh

  • 1:30:26

yeah. Cuz Jesus turned his water into wine. Put some ramen in my [ __ ] [ __ ] Jesus turn this water

  • 1:30:35

    into wine. Put some in my Don't be [ __ ] other [ __ ]

  • 1:30:44

    Don't be [ __ ] other [ __ ] when you soaking wet. It's funny.

  • 1:30:50

Party is a sick [ __ ] man. Listen to what he be saying.

  • 1:30:59

    That's a wild boy. That's crazy. [Music]

  • 1:31:09

It's wild that he just started talking about Jesus in the middle of all this because Jesus turned his water and

  • 1:31:17

wine. I'll turn you. Just a celebration for you.

  • 1:31:24

Oh no. Yeah. And I promised you a good

  • 1:31:30

time. Is it a good time? You keep

  • 1:31:37

it. You know, you know, you know, I need it.

  • 1:31:52

Why is Flex still going on Tupac Rants? You're lying.

  • 1:31:59

Make it pretty. Apparently, according to Complex, so this falls on you if London Canada worldwide your phone

  • 1:32:11

genius. That [ __ ] turned he closed the

  • 1:32:18

MacBook. That [ __ ] was still was like it's still on.

  • 1:32:27

Your phone genius. Listen, I've had a really long day. I can tell I have. I need some rest.

  • 1:32:33

Uh yeah, apparently on a rant, I don't know what it was. It was on High 97. Uh you Pac fans always talking that talk.

  • 1:32:40

Uh, he's Cheddar Bob. Came in there and popped himself in the leg. That's what happened. Why are we still talking about

  • 1:32:45

someone that's dead? Why does Flex do that all the time? I have a theory.

  • 1:32:52

    Give it. No, I won't. But it's it's old now. It's

  • 1:32:57

it's it's a bit old. No need for Flex to kill Pac and go on these rants. He

  • 1:33:02

caught a lot of heat from the West Coast his first time doing that. I'm surprised he's still on that. Yeah. When he was at BB King saying [ __ ] Tupac and all that.

  • 1:33:09

Yeah. And even cander some of that. I thought if he did it when someone's alive, I'm

  • 1:33:14

cool and fine with it. But I just don't see you do it when someone's dead. That's corny.

  • 1:33:19

Flex was just being the the elder statesmen and that Troy A [ __ ] I don't want to see him turn around and Oh yeah,

  • 1:33:25

I was happy when he said for Cass and Troy to stop that [ __ ] Yeah, I agree. You guys should stop that [ __ ] even

  • 1:33:32

though it's none of my business. [Laughter]

  • 1:33:37

Royal [ __ ] That was mad funny though. That's it,

  • 1:33:43

    right? Yeah, I got nothing. You ain't got nothing? Yeah, I think I'm done too. Unless y'all aren't [ __ ] M ain't going

  • 1:33:50

to get us Unless y'all not [ __ ] Mall ain't going to get us one of these little cool jean hats. I'm going to talk

  • 1:33:55

the whole No, it's too late, man. I'm talk to myself. I'll get you a hat. Wow. You're not a snapback guy, though. No.

  • 1:34:01

So, yeah. You don't. This is a snapback. Yeah. Yeah. True. You want a dad hat?

  • 1:34:07

Dad had got either. No, we had seven 78 and fitted. So dad has just still know what size he wear fitted. That's funny.

  • 1:34:14

That's crazy. You the only [ __ ] still that still go get a a Yankee fitted. No way. People don't wear Yankee

  • 1:34:20

fittings. No, [ __ ] wear snapbacks with that hats now, man. Yeah, [ __ ] with Beetlejuice heads like you. Joe, your

  • 1:34:26

head pause. Your head is not that big, man. You can wear I wear seven seven. You can wear snapbacks. Yeah, if I latch

  • 1:34:31

to the last very last button, it wouldn't be that big. Oh, you trying to have me be that snapback guy. It was

  • 1:34:39

that snapback guy. Well, your your friends don't want to see you prosper. You want my snapback to be hanging on to

  • 1:34:45

the last button. No, man. Because you still you still holding on. You still hold you still holding on to the to the

  • 1:34:51

um See, and that's not even like one of the deep dish ones. I would need a deep dish one. I found one snapback that's a

  • 1:34:57

deep dish and I get like four three buttons, right? But it says like Coke boys or everybody loves Coke and send

  • 1:35:04
