  • 5:01

like [ __ ] your new age that's all I'm just right I'm hating oh that's old school that's the New Age version of

  • 5:08

when the chick used to compliment your man when your man bar just [ __ ] shirts

  • 5:21

which I disagree with you what I do put that [ __ ] J you can't let your man hos

  • 5:27

sambar some and then put it on blast in front of the chicks that's correct

  • 5:34

what I'm saying is young men need to be taught that what what that not to do

  • 5:43

that oh yeah I agree wait I'm not mad at somebody tries it once when I was 14 15

  • 5:49

when it was young and I'm like you need I don't know what that a you need to be taught against yeah doing that because

  • 5:54

    maybe that's instinctive [ __ ] say men

  • 6:03

was a story with a car you know about telefon your pocket how

  • 6:19

did bring it up my Escalade yeah nasty ass [ __ ] was done to our it wasn't even

  • 6:36

a stunt no no if I did that I certainly didn't mean to because I did that one

  • 6:41

time when I was very very very young and I might be that the deal still [ __ ]

  • 6:48

you up off the end and I learned against it and I never did that again I never do that again that's nasty yeah

  • 6:54

    that's nasty yes 101 [ __ ] and [ __ ] stop let me let me come clean

  • 7:00

it's gonna be the podcaster coming clean and they just stopped lending me their clothes because I wouldn't give them

  • 7:05

back yeah you gotta recognize that for any medium oh I had the butters yeah that

  • 7:12

was a slang when I was stealing the clothes but it's a butter Tim the butter Hilfiger jacket from yellow one the red

  • 7:21

one the blue one that was fresh broke before and a bum and on dust and a Rob

  • 7:29

you at least you were from Robbie take

  • 7:41

you boys off number one number two learn about your life nothing else but way one

  • 8:05

day one day if we kick mall out the group chat he was gone for a while wait and wait you know you kick somebody out

  • 8:11

of the group chat and you think that it's gonna be like effective somehow he just left

  • 8:17

I'm talking us call us for like five years hey wait a second now that was a

  • 8:23

momentary thing come back to the group chat they could denied our lawyer invite the group chair should support a Samsung

  • 8:31

instead the group chat ship is only fun for me when it's some really funny [ __ ]

  • 8:36

happen it like other than that it's like I don't want to be in here talking like he's got a muted group chat is the key

  • 8:41

well yeah well all group chats are muted our group jag are calling for like a year did it yeah and then one of mine is

  • 8:48

it's still part of that year was bonding with la we got back pop I'm Sookie right

  • 8:57

now um and nobody cares about it but one day but one day we should have a group

  • 9:03

chat conversation because there is group chat absolutely this phone etiquette

  • 9:08

period that's true don't call me I'm with parks don't call me don't ever

  • 9:14

FaceTime little pizza you know what over the weekend I said I missed that though I miss my phone right I miss people calling each other my my phone it's I

  • 9:21

guess I play that game I try to guess who's calling me when my phone is vibrating my locket only for people it's

  • 9:27

my mom it's my dad it's in its tray yeah nobody else calls my phone but

  • 9:33

telemarketers yeah p.m. they have you they have you a phone number honey doing all types a little weird tricks they even improve on

  • 9:40

call me from parks number now they do that they got tricks they do that yeah call you from your grandma's number or

  • 9:46

they'll call you like one digit of your number yeah net a few times yeah it looks familiar so you want to hook it up so yeah I'm calling myself

  • 9:52

let me answer yeah although I will say I think FaceTime is becoming like the new regular phone conversation know like

  • 9:59

people FaceTime a lot now I hate I recently saw audio if you're gonna call

  • 10:05

me pitched up I recently learned people people voice note a lot more than I thought this voice notes on Instagram

  • 10:11

I'm a degenerate I didn't know I don't want to know all the capabilities of certain social medias listen you voice

  • 10:17

know people that just do that in the middle of a text combo not knowing where the [ __ ] I am I can't stand that [ __ ]

  • 10:23

like it we're texting back and forth you send me a voice know it I could be somewhere yeah I'm amazed every time parks puts a little cartoon arrow on

  • 10:30

into the snap I don't know how to do anything I don't know how to put that

  • 10:35

swap up [ __ ] I put up the picture the little chain I'll give you a little text I swipe oh yeah sometimes I freak it

  • 10:41

    with some fade my [ __ ] [ __ ] it off

  • 10:53

freakin with some fade what are you freaking the post we would start the

  • 11:05

    podcast you don't even know what the [ __ ] happened I don't that's because

  • 11:13

people are just now going to work then yeah people are just now getting to work I was talking about there's no traffic

  • 11:18

out in the streets for the past few days I'm just now learning what day it is which podcast this is been out of it a

  • 11:24

little bit but I think that's normal every January for sure hmm we got like

  • 11:30

way definitely if I definitely forgot Sunday was Sunday yeah I thought sunday was some Monday and anytime the football

  • 11:36

playoff started did you throws my yeah I don't know I don't know what today is yeah yeah I guess this is the official

  • 11:43

week that people are back cuz last week was kind of weird some people were going in super beast work mode and I wasn't sure if I should be replying to emails

  • 11:49

or not and then there was some people that was like Dawg don't even talk to me so the 15th right now I knew something

  • 11:55

was up when I got I got a call from Spotify revolt love and hip hop the same day of alright everyone's back and

  • 12:04

requesting a schedule ok so what's what's going on let's talk the podcast

  • 12:13

went out on a quick field trip after Friday's episode oh yeah how was your little your little party I went to an RB

  • 12:19

parties three of us what well more more than mixi boys Joe stayed from maybe two

  • 12:25

to three minutes well cuz I got out of there pretty quick but it was all arm being me and while we're talking about

  • 12:31

the songs now that you can't listen to or play most of them for example he was

  • 12:37

in there they was playing Joe L Santana Chris Brown back to the crib and me and more when looking a child

  • 12:42

like all right so why doesn't she know she's going back to the crib Chris yeah that would work

  • 12:49

she don't know but she's going back to the crib how convenient is Gino how

  • 12:54

convenient is fun we go yeah how many drinks came on creepy hours and we were

  • 13:00

next to a bar I was a tractable that record I'm surprised they tried to get

  • 13:06

the Christmas song out of here this year - which one was it uh cold outside oh it's cold outside is an old trick that

  • 13:13

shouldn't be used anymore it's cold out

  • 13:20

just like Freddy rosie fools you with this happy music first the hi-hats to

  • 13:25

get you in a feel-good zone little shuffle just like predators [ __ ] do you

  • 13:30

have your shots do you want to come back to America

  • 13:41

Miguel came on the trip how many drinks will it take for you to come home why are you so frustrated that

  • 13:48

she's sober people do get mad if you'd

  • 14:00

like drunk and somebody sober around you know like people hate that I don't drink anymore that's like a the sober one with

  • 14:06

everybody else's drunk who wants to do their vices alone that's

  • 14:11

true very true cuz then you start feeling let is drinking really a vice not like a alcoholic well me yeah it's a

  • 14:18

vice like if you just have a drink after work is that like a cannon can be a vice if you want to do your vices alone all the

  • 14:23

time there's a mental health thing yeah

  • 14:29

oh you just don't like people around you when you're doing your faces that's

  • 14:34

weird never though no you don't know nice that that would not be approved of by your friends that's true therefore

  • 14:40

that might be a problem that's depending on your circle I'm gonna do some I never do the star with the Golden Globes

  • 14:51

you stop there twenty minutes in it off to a good start for this episode so the

  • 14:57

Golden Globes what happened you want to go right in a rip with arc with the Kellogg in the quell around all weekend

  • 15:07

    I won't say I will say hi let's do it [ __ ] it it's amazing it's amazing how

  • 15:13

many it's the main conversations that docu-series has has birth honestly how

  • 15:20

many what how many conversations oh that that docu-series has has birth I guess

  • 15:26

like I mean I knew it was gonna be obviously like some reaction and some

  • 15:31

things that come from it but I'm not gonna lie man I was sitting back looking at some [ __ ] on social media like whoa

  • 15:37

like I forgot a lot of this [ __ ] ever ever happened I forgot a lot of this [ __ ] never really like took place yeah

  • 15:45

but people was bringing up [ __ ] and it's like like I just found out from as a

  • 15:50

result that that little Kim was only 16 in that picture huh a conic picture

  • 15:56

really yeah I didn't know that I never knew that yeah I never knew she was 16

  • 16:02

or 17 S on that I never knew that like that [ __ ] me up I'm not gonna lie because I remember being young and

  • 16:07

seeing that picture and thinking that was a grown woman we were probably younger than 16 it's damn yes I'm saying

  • 16:13

it I was young but when I saw that picture I was definitely so lucky there's not something joke you know I

  • 16:18

don't sound like the Cookie Monster you know they've never changed on Kidsongs

  • 16:25

like the other day like I was watching cartoons it was mm-hmm stole the cookie

  • 16:31

from the cookie jar who me yes you couldn't be that like fam 40 years classic who is the publishing

  • 16:40

rich but they are rich is what they are no random might do walking down the

  • 16:45

streets of Manhattan that you will know well it's in series publishing for that for sure of course there is ma'am we've wrapped

  • 16:51

we've stuck on the wrong [ __ ] that guy that guy's the winner hit songs is definitely hella good market to get into

  • 16:57

mm-hmm dan that's a body damn I never even thought of that

  • 17:02

actually I did but just in a different capacity I'm waiting for the market to catch up in podcast publishing become a thing

  • 17:09

yeah go yeah oh man all right so uh come

  • 17:19

on more you will make you will making good points and I cut you off with your do pooty only no I was a saying that um yeah there was so many things that came

  • 17:26

from that docu-series you know that started to you know come back to the

  • 17:31

forefront of conversations on social media that I really either forgot about

  • 17:36

or didn't know and like I was saying I didn't know little Kim was that young in that picture like I never knew that but

  • 17:42

learning that said what to you what did it do for your free line it said that in

  • 17:48

or you thinking it said that I mean it well it let me know in our culture of hip-hop um that we've kind of been we've

  • 17:58

kind of been you know behind the ball with this whole you know not being old

  • 18:05

enough versus is she old enough to date older men dating younger women like

  • 18:10

we've kind of it's been in our face for me I was going to say the entire time

  • 18:16

that is one way to word it but it's been in our face other way to word it it sounds like you're saying we've been

  • 18:22

programmed in conditioned absolutely to be accepted accepted oh so we're now

  • 18:29

desensitized and numb in areas that we shouldn't and we're old the hip-hop is

  • 18:34

what thirty what now 30 30 1978 yeah

  • 18:40

also 40 okay so well do the coaches older some reports say 73 yeah yeah but we're

  • 18:47

older and so now you look back at things you like damn like you know me like it's

  • 18:53

a lot of [ __ ] that I was reading through and looking at and I'm like family should have really been right in front

  • 18:59

of our eyes this entire time whether we've been ignorant to it and just not giving a [ __ ] about it whether times

  • 19:04

have changed and everything is you know the world is different now and how we operate in how we think is totally different now that has something to do

  • 19:12

does anyone have an issue with the music industry conditioning

  • 19:19

conditioning the masses to accept certain things certain things yes I do

  • 19:27

agree with you more just because that's what's been in front of our faces more than anything else but I just I think it's a world problem - a world problem

  • 19:36

hip hop I just think that's what's been in front of our face and that's what we've been participating in and condoning and even promoting no it's

  • 19:43

definitely world problem but this is the culture I was ready that's what I'm saying I think we're saying the same thing I mean so it's like something we've actually been a part of where we are to

  • 19:50

blame to some degree as well right because we've always thought that yeah thought foxy on the reasonable doubt at

  • 19:56

fifteen was perfectly fine right while saying those things I guess that's kind of what I was trying to tell Mall last

  • 20:02

week when I was like when I was like I I like that where that we're overly

  • 20:08

sensitive today because whatever what it's what generation is this Z Y I think

  • 20:14

it's Z I don't know I like that generation Z is coming out with with all of this Intel saying hey man what y'all

  • 20:21

was doing like I like that they're coming out and holding past generations

  • 20:27

accountable for [ __ ] that we maybe were blind to or turned a blind or turned a

  • 20:33

blind eye - mm-hmm but they're telling that to older us right so yeah we're looking back and

  • 20:42

we're saying you'd be shocked at the amount of people I heard say the same thing you just said more how it was common practice for the older person to

  • 20:49

drive by the high school yeah to go by the high school why even yeah we're 10

  • 20:54

years apart regular young young people remember in high school I'm not I'm not uh I'm not exonerating that behavior but

  • 21:04

I'm acknowledging I'm acknowledging it sick but that was going on seeing that's

  • 21:10

where the conversation normally gets a little fuzzy because if you start having these talks I would my mind says

  • 21:17

eventually we would venture off into college culture - yeah for certain yeah

  • 21:23

I don't see that sold so much and and this conversation is not about that this

  • 21:30

podcast is more so going to be about the rabbit-hole that mine has been on since this r.kelly doc and I'll be honest with you guys it has

  • 21:38

been it has been good I've paid attention to things that I've never paid

  • 21:44

attention to and I think that's why some of these Doc's are really good when when done well it just adds perspective and

  • 21:50

gets you to see things in a new light like like song structure now more than

  • 22:00

ever I paid more attention to like I really want to tip my hat to dream Hampton and everybody involved in it in

  • 22:06

their documentary I do for sure they did a really good job without

  • 22:12

offending anyone I would say up until part six when it was the the 35 year old

  • 22:18

fan that confused a few people but I understand why y'all had her there y'all

  • 22:24

was saying that he's not just targeting young people he's targeting he's

  • 22:29

targeting older people people of a certain mindset people that can be had he started I didn't understood she just

  • 22:36

came off a little funny um but outside of that amazing job song structure now I'm look I'm listening and all these are

  • 22:43

kelly songs I'm extremely familiar with but the song structure and even take bump and grind a lot of our Kelly songs now I'm

  • 22:50

noticing and I guess there is some genius in it but he says the the the

  • 22:58

blatantly he says the catch you line and it catches you but it's the next two or

  • 23:06

four bars that say something sick that says something sick I have went back and

  • 23:13

noticed that in in maybe half of his discography I never noticed that before

  • 23:19

even in the name of song and I'm gonna find it bump bump bump and grind I went

  • 23:24

to I went to bumper grinders because that's the biggest one to me but oh yeah that's my point my mind's telling me no

  • 23:31

but my body my body is telling me yes I don't want to hurt no that's great that's that's so genius that you are had

  • 23:38

already you're done you're you are hypnotized hmm yeah that next four

  • 23:44

is nuts yeah yeah it's all nuts now but

  • 23:52

I mean even in creative land back then forget that now we have all this information right what does it mean like

  • 23:58

when you just don't asking people what dude certainly ryx mean like i don't want to hurt anybody what do they mean what does that mean

  • 24:05

come on coming off of what's your mind and your body is telling you to do it is a lay he has a lot of those and even

  • 24:11

when I went to the other songs I started saying Ron I usually songs that are Kelly wrote hmm oh damn he did it to Ron

  • 24:18

    [ __ ] I'm [ __ ] me Ron sound nuts keep watering it down low you [ __ ] freak

  • 24:24

bastard what are you talking about we're talking about that old series everything

  • 24:29

he did like I never just never paid attention to some of that stuff I've been on a hunt for information like and

  • 24:38

    a lot is disturbing like there's a lot to unpacking this [ __ ] a lot a lot is

  • 24:43

disturbing spark will put us put a record out she do sparkle and sparkle

  • 24:49

was promoting a single recently in the

  • 24:54

height of all in the height of everything then the ex-wife's old

  • 25:00

footage popped up yeah where she was reppin that confused some people um and

  • 25:09

then something else came out with her saying she's still able to separate the

  • 25:15

act the the artists from the person that's why I said that yeah yeah I have

  • 25:21

a clue how good of a provider he was you

  • 25:27

know was definitely leaning on the side of he's not that bad of a guy but this was old footage correct some of it was

  • 25:34

old some of it was relatively recent I mean that's I think part of the whole mind control thing that a la her still

  • 25:43

carrying his last name through everything was a red flag to me to begin with but shouldn't be shouldn't be

  • 25:49

because there are reasons people do that some people do it for the kids you know

  • 25:54

Tina Turner did it did it and she was being abused like no it's it's it had black patina

  • 26:01

Turner was a was a as a legend like was the iconic figure that was her stage

  • 26:08

name doesn't change my statement she was abused by someone and she moved on she kept the name I did I get that point but

  • 26:16

what I'm saying is she kept the name because that was the name that she built her career and her legacy on part that's

  • 26:24

that stuff your career in your life killing his wife it's really a legacy is not really important to me when it when

  • 26:30

we talk about you be interview no but it wasn't it wasn't but it was important to Tina Turner to her brand and while saying that are Kelly's ex-wife doesn't

  • 26:36

no disrespect her but she's not a world figure you know saying like she's I'm

  • 26:43

just saying like her changing her last name I don't think anybody would have been like damn like you should have kept that last name because now you your

  • 26:49

brand and everything is messed up like I don't I just don't I don't see that Tina

  • 26:54

Turner's a hole because people had said that to me too and I'm like but Tina Turner is Tina Turner yeah you know

  • 27:00

saying like she's who she is she's a world-class performers icon legend you

  • 27:06

know are Kelly's ex-wife she said she's a dancer but I don't know she was has she built a iconic dance career off of

  • 27:13

the last name Kelly I don't think so I'm certain that there's some perks that come with every last name Kelly so I

  • 27:18

would assume other thing I'm not saying that's why she did not say but if so do

  • 27:26

the perks outweigh the you know the trauma and everything that you went through so you're gonna keep that I just

  • 27:31

don't it's a lot of things around that whole situation that you know it's it's just questions that naturally because I

  • 27:38

think that's what a docu-series does it it gets conversations going it it creates questions it cookies thoughts

  • 27:45

and so I think it worked you know I think the what they what the producers wanted to come from the show I think it

  • 27:52

absolutely worked because I mean again like the entire seems like the entire online community is still talking about

  • 27:59

just docu-series yeah that's important so conversation is important one of the

  • 28:05

one of the things I saw people saying was you know I saw Jada Pinkett

  • 28:12

speak out and say she asked for someone explain to her how his dreams could possibly go up at a time like this hmm

  • 28:18

I saw some other people confused by that pardon me for being confused by the

  • 28:24

confusion by that but I am the songs are

  • 28:29

good song sonically and a docu-series just told us that there have been clues

  • 28:35

that we ignored for years and years and years so people are naturally that's

  • 28:41

just a natural thought to look for it to do he's put together the puzzle you have also just introduced this this genius

  • 28:48

catalog of music to a brand-new audience it doesn't matter how it was introduced but certainly they're going to find out

  • 28:55

about what you say yeah the street the streams aren't increasing ah

  • 29:01

I saw another report and we had talked about a lot of stuff I saw another report that said our Kelly is worth 1

  • 29:06

million dollars today I don't know how accurate that is um and I don't I don't

  • 29:13

    you know and again I don't care about what somebody's worth and you know all these I do I don't I don't give a [ __ ] I

  • 29:19

do but but let me explain why before I forget I do money power and respect it

  • 29:28

have it has you greeted and handled differently in this country now that

  • 29:36

I've seen this docu-series if they take if they take I do believe they're gonna

  • 29:42

come for Kelly I'm gonna take them down it's mad other people who got to go down with him it's not a one-man operation

  • 29:48

this is a ring like let's call it what it is this is a complicated intricate

  • 29:57

ring that could not be conducted by just one person there's plenty of people are

  • 30:04

complicit in this and the irony of it is a lot of those people were in that documentary yeah so if this documentary

  • 30:12

takes it down it's taken down the people that were in the dock let me go even further Moll so you can't you can't

  • 30:19

provide you can't you can't provide you can't have a ring without having money that's none

  • 30:25

one number two Xena another one of the very disturbing facts that I've walked away from this dock thinking and please

  • 30:31

I don't mean offend anyone but this was one of my natural thoughts when watching this dock it was hard not to come away

  • 30:41

feeling like some families and some and some people just were paid off they said

  • 30:46

that they were oh I mean but that was my first question when the girl that caught mono and then she caught the disease

  • 30:53

that paralyzed her foot she said he sent my mom a thousand dollar check and I

  • 30:58

looked at my homeboy and said do you think huh mom cashed that check I'm sure

  • 31:04

so it's like yeah and Sparkle did allude that she thinks that maybe our family

  • 31:09

was paid off to go to that court case and be like that's not our daughter and have the daughter say that's not me she

  • 31:16

alluded there was no proof or brother or someone was playing guitar well that was all right so that was kind of the weirder part sooo that her

  • 31:21

brother-in-law which would be the father of the daughter that was in that video continued to play guitar for our Kelly

  • 31:27

and was in credits after that incident that's crazy so you would have to think

  • 31:33

that there is a lot of money going into this Sukesh yeah and let me continue

  • 31:39

with mall the judicial system is a money

  • 31:45

thing let me continue the the lesser are

  • 31:54

Kelly's net worth is that is when I think they're gonna snatch him like what

  • 32:02

you can save you a lot yeah when when that money decreases to a certain point

  • 32:09

this is all coming to a halt I believe some people are going to come forward

  • 32:14

with new information they say more will be revealed that's up that's what that's what they say I'm waiting I'm waiting

  • 32:21

more than well more has been revealed as a result as a docu-series Oh baby you just wait yes oh no oh no there was so

  • 32:32

much psychology and all that I learned in this [ __ ] I don't know how anybody didn't come away from this [ __ ] feeling

  • 32:38

like our Kelly has a stash of boys somewhere our Kelly's bisexual hmm I was shocked

  • 32:46

it some people didn't get that way well what he had the young lady Dominique

  • 32:52

doing seemed a bit on the bisexual sigh that's all that's all right I don't know

  • 32:59

it would be called bisexual but is there something there's psychology to taking

  • 33:05

that beautiful girl because she was beautiful for sure and making her look

  • 33:10

and dress like a boy there's psychology to that and the more I thought about it I'm telling you all

  • 33:16

I've been on a rabbit hole the more I thought about it yes from that's from you being abused that's from that's from

  • 33:22

you being abused you so you've been abused I was going to an emeritus and he's been probably been abused by a man

  • 33:28

and woman and won both no no I think he's an odd take it a step further than

  • 33:33

man watching the doc I couldn't look at Bruce anymore no I couldn't look at

  • 33:38

Bruce anymore absolutely Bruce made me Bruce made me feel like and I don't have

  • 33:43

any factual [ __ ] don't sue me for defamation Bruce made me feel like he was involved yeah that's how I felt

  • 33:52

yeah by some of his views yeah saying you have a preference also that was nap

  • 33:59

that was also one of the grossest part of the documentary also being the older

  • 34:04

male sibling in that entire situation one going through the same things that are Kelly went through as far as abuse

  • 34:10

and to being the quote protector of your siblings you're involved and I didn't

  • 34:16

take it for granted that when our Kelly did go to trial his defense was that's not me that was my brother

  • 34:23

which I think it was the younger brother he said that about the younger brother

  • 34:29

but that's not what I got from it yes hmm it's not what I got from it

  • 34:36

the younger brother couldn't believe that that was said about him I can

  • 34:42

believe it like what would force you to say that they're even in defense of

  • 34:48

something like you have thought about this but you thought let out like I've heard that like I've

  • 34:54

been down this [ __ ] rabbit hole where he's got these contracts making these women well they said it on the ship

  • 35:00

we've got his contracts that he's making people admit to things that they really didn't do in case there's ever back in

  • 35:06

case anything backfires in case anything goes wrong this is really complicated

  • 35:12

stuff here this is not just an abuser targeting people yeah yeah his lawyers

  • 35:19

are super nasty also they're all they're all they're all they're all nasty super

  • 35:25

nasty yeah and another thing that came up for me personally that I took away from it was I've been really ignorant to

  • 35:32

the fact that a lot of women in my life have been sexually assaulted and sexually abused and I didn't know that I

  • 35:38

suppose a lot of women that I'm glad [ __ ] as you did you did a lot of people you know yeah a lot of women and I you

  • 35:44

know I had to apologize I really didn't know that I knew so many women that was sexually abused I'm tell you all you

  • 35:51

have to do is speak to women yeah yeah like they'll confide in you mm-hm they've been waiting to yeah work cuz

  • 35:58

men don't make it the easiest for a woman to just cut Phi and tell them you know their secrets especially with abuse

  • 36:05

we're not the easiest to talk to especially those types of things well especially so if you give them just a

  • 36:10

little bit a woman will definitely do that yeah and it's worth the conversations you have because you do find out things of girls

  • 36:17

you've known for 15 years like it's really they really bothered me though like that [ __ ] really [ __ ] me up like

  • 36:22

I had no idea like I thought that was something that you know I would have known from knowing of somebody's woman

  • 36:28

for so many years I'm like what like I never had any idea about that [ __ ] and they kind of looked at me like it

  • 36:35

happens more than you think 1,000% you know now that's that that is some scary [ __ ] I know but then add to incest on

  • 36:41

top of it just for some extra extra sicko spice like just just just an

  • 36:49

essence this is deranged deranged [ __ ] um and I'll go further than just the

  • 36:56

women you may know in your life it could check on some of your own family members

  • 37:01

and I'm not saying that have been abused have been doing the abusing mmm-hmm for sure for sure so it's not just

  • 37:09

friends speak speak with your family we'll find out some [ __ ] that you had no idea was

  • 37:14

going on yes and that's why we have to be careful with some of these conversations because they are

  • 37:19

conversations of the times Rory just said that and it instantly brought me back to my mom and dad's time maybe my

  • 37:27

grandparents time when in the black household what happened there stayed

  • 37:33

there what happened in your family yeah because there was some sick stuff

  • 37:38

happening in families it just stayed in the family and speaking for myself I

  • 37:45

don't have to be alive looking at my family I can see what my family endured

  • 37:54

and I think a lot of this [ __ ] was you know it's handed down from generations

  • 38:00

because you know in talking say like I said some women and then doing research on you know families and sexual abuse

  • 38:07

our ancestors were forced to have sex with each other through slavery so I

  • 38:14

kind of feel like you know even from that it was kind of may be handed down generational like you know one thing and

  • 38:26

that's why you know I'll be having to trick my brain and to chill out because

  • 38:31

like you go all over the place with just what your mind can't can wonder and these instances like it was a quick

  • 38:39

second over the week and I was like damn and the white [ __ ] get caught with this [ __ ] and get you on a mill mm-hmm

  • 38:47

like and now y'all know I'm not the woky esposa damn is there's something to all the black people we like didn't like who's

  • 38:54

just putting all this out where we getting our alright like some craziness mhm my god you just think a lot again

  • 39:02

back to our back to our Kelly being bisexual for a minute so on YouTube they didn't they feel like they done found

  • 39:08

this [ __ ] man so and his name is Bubba come on and that made sense to me are

  • 39:15

Kelly would be a good name Bubba is funny I no Kelly tried to kick at the bubble

  • 39:21

like they didn't deter him at all and bubble and clean-cut guy on YouTube

  • 39:35

hopefully bubbles no bubble look like an adult you can't you can't you can have a name like

  • 39:40

bubble bubble a grown-ass man yeah your name boy young fellas 50 plus for sure I

  • 39:47

didn't see any reports this is per mole cuz listen Twitter will find somebody in

  • 39:55

a heartbeat what else what other takeaways did you guys have what did you

  • 40:01

guys think about all the celebrity responses Omarion responded bun be responded a lot

  • 40:10

of people fondant let me view well it was it was it's interesting to me for Omarion to respond at all and well yeah

  • 40:16

you know to b2k thing and you know we all know that story yeah so it was

  • 40:21

interesting on tour yeah talk coming up so it was trying to bring up dark times I mean is essential

  • 40:28

but like I said this it created what I think the producers wanted it created a conversation they created an area a

  • 40:36

whole narrative of yeah this is something that's been going all right before our eyes and it's time that we

  • 40:41

address it and we speak about it and I saw a lot of people saying like oh now all these rappers and collaborators

  • 40:47

with our Kelly want to come out and say this [ __ ] is nasty you have to give people some leniency of course it was

  • 40:53

wrong because we did have some information but you can't just cancel and chastise people for now saying it

  • 41:00

because a lot of times and I guess in those collaborations and all collaborations aren't we're best friends

  • 41:05

now yeah somebody somebody emailed a beet sometimes yeah like you may not have all

  • 41:11

that information and now that you have it you're speaking up so you can't just [ __ ] on oh now y'all want to talk about

  • 41:17

it yeah now I do you know as now I have literally all the information in front of me and that's disgusting and I feel

  • 41:23

awful that I participated in the career of this nasty guy and that's hot I'm

  • 41:29

sorry more so a couple of people trying to hang legend for taking a picture with Harvey Weinstein at some point yeah you can't

  • 41:35

wait before we ask from John Legend Harvey Weinstein we're best friends in the hotel together with abusing women no

  • 41:42

he saw around yeah John Legend didn't know all of this [ __ ] that came out yeah

  • 41:50

we can take that now and be a bit more cognizant on who we do collaborate with or pay attention more to people's social

  • 41:57

lives and how they interact with women now we can move forward with that right it sucks that we're now in 2019 just

  • 42:03

figuring that out but I hate to say it is what it is but let's at least take this info now and move forward with it

  • 42:10

so I understand a lot of us now this is back to the streams going up I understand a lot of us now feel like how

  • 42:17

could we have been so fooled how could we have been so naive how did we let so

  • 42:23

many things slip through the cracks which now has us looking at everything a

  • 42:29

bit skeptically I'm saying y'all dragged

  • 42:35

plenty of plenty of people into this and that's just where it's a little dangerous because these are heavy your

  • 42:41

words are your sward and these are heavy swarms that y'all are throwing around with some people that you can't really

  • 42:48

prove this stuff about all you guys are asking people to come forward and start

  • 42:54

talking about really dark subjects of course you understand why multi-million

  • 43:02

dollar and billion dollar businesses would not feel like you guys are privy to this

  • 43:08

I'm not exonerating anybody I'm just saying that's the thinking here I'd see

  • 43:14

a lot of people trying to bring drag or Brean things mmm am I alone in that I

  • 43:19

saw no but that's that's uh I kind of feel like you know Joe that's something

  • 43:25

that we do a lot to like you know one person gets caught and you know you

  • 43:30

start pointing fingers and you start blaming other people and you know putting the light on what they did and

  • 43:36

no I'm not saying that about him oh he did the same thing he did and it's like I kind of knew that that was gonna be

  • 43:42

something else that came out of this whole situation but I think like he was saying uh earlier we had a point now is it's

  • 43:51

dangerous for us to just take things that we see in clips and here online and

  • 43:58

and not really dig into and read into the entire situation because you know we

  • 44:04

begin to a point now where it's gonna a lot of people are gonna start being called cold out on things that they've

  • 44:11

done and things that they've said when you know they probably shouldn't be

  • 44:16

because it probably isn't something that you know they're not exactly down with

  • 44:21

this whole you know mess with young girls thing or they not you know the

  • 44:27

whole trying to try to talk to a woman that's younger than you or date and woman as young anyone having sex with

  • 44:33

nor sexual acts with young girls like with the Drake thing if you bring a girl onstage

  • 44:38

and it's kind of like and I'm I'm gonna be honest I feel like I can name five

  • 44:44

other artists I've been at shows when I ain't seen who that was yeah so like that's the arm be move it doesn't make

  • 44:49

it okay it doesn't it doesn't make it okay but we can't put it in the same breath I agree with you but when you

  • 44:59

pull someone from the audience and you're going about your show right I do think that it's your responsibility to

  • 45:05

tell how old a she's of age absolutely I agree I agree but what I'm seeing that

  • 45:10

happens but what I'm seeing right but what I'm seeing people do is they're trying to put it in the same breath it's

  • 45:16

not it's not don't do that's low blow it's not today yeah we don't have enough

  • 45:22

information to declare that about Aubrey today or some of the other people that

  • 45:28

I'm seeing you guys name again if this are Kelly [ __ ] is 40 years of

  • 45:33

accumulative work and evidence and like documented trails of [ __ ] yeah I also

  • 45:41

think it's okay for like one person at a time or maybe like you know they say are

  • 45:46

Kelly okay but what about such-and-such that did this to Harvey Weinstein for instance he's gonna get his day to yeah

  • 45:52

you don't know like it's okay to take people down as they come yeah I agree mean as information comes

  • 45:58

but I'm just saying we can't start just you know looking at every just putting everybody in the same box like oh he

  • 46:04

brought a young girl on stage he's guilty of that like come on so so now so now so now the are says that he's coming

  • 46:13

forward with a website called surviving lies which they try with a Facebook page

  • 46:20

which I think got taken down but I did see they did take that page down salute to Facebook yeah and I did do some

  • 46:27

digging has to find out why and why you can't sue when your name is used or a

  • 46:33

certain [ __ ] like that and the lifetime legal team seems to think that they've

  • 46:38

done a fine job corroborating all of this evidence and if you would like to bring the police involved in please do

  • 46:44

so bring-bring a court bring a court to this mess that's a tough thing that's

  • 46:50

like a drug dealer getting robbed and going to the cops like you can't really do that nothing lights on what sorry our

  • 46:56

lifetime would actually welcome the court yeah they are you guys think it through man yeah yeah see that see how

  • 47:03

less complicated the ring it would only at 1 M how could that's bad money

  • 47:17

management thing the amount of writing credits and all that [ __ ] that are Kelly has outside of his own catalog how could

  • 47:24

he be worth a million dollars because it's expensive to have a ring I mean I

  • 47:29

agree man I remember long times always tell my Bill Cosby and then and I was saying how I spoke to some some people

  • 47:35

from the me to movement they were saying that if 19 people if 30 people if 60

  • 47:41

people are saying something then that's an expensive ring and people are not that coordinated we're dealing with the

  • 47:49

one instance where he is that coordinated yeah it is a ring and it costs a lot of money I was just

  • 47:55

listening to the money the figures they were throwing around in the duck outside of sparkles $1 or $100 that he gave her

  • 48:01

everything else was he'll send 250 over there send five over there send 1/4 over

  • 48:07

here sent like they was gonna this and that I believe I could my money was flying it was flying it was

  • 48:14

going so I mean for me if you're worth am and I haven't I haven't checked that I'm in fact the fact check that at all I

  • 48:20

could see it being believable yeah I could see plus he spoke to doing bad business for a long time so not being

  • 48:27

able to read and understand contracts and stuff so there's a good chance that he wasn't even getting his proper share at the time where he was making hundreds

  • 48:34

of millions of dollars if he wasn't so sick I swear I would wonder how many oh [ __ ] that's the others I've heard at

  • 48:42

least nine to ten stories now in the past four days I heard the daylight

  • 48:49

story about our Kelly and his basketball routine and you know we dismissed it because it's daylight but daylight was

  • 48:55

saying out you know our Kelly got a gym in in the studio and [ __ ] come through

  • 49:01

and they played ball but it was weird when he went to play because it was like his friends had rules like he was the

  • 49:07

only one that was allowed to shoot the ball and daylight was saying even on a fast break it would be it would be it

  • 49:14

would be four on none and they would wait and hand it off to Robert on the

  • 49:20

wing Robert on the wing is sick matters you think you can't even be on the wing

  • 49:29

nothing yeah I've heard that story ten

  • 49:34

nine to ten times from other people man now and I know they have nothing to do

  • 49:40

with pedophilia noise controlling but it does it's some predator [ __ ] well like

  • 49:45

that's why I was telling y'all what the whole you know best of both worlds to it when that whole thing fell apart you

  • 49:50

tell us off air are you sharing something here oh yeah I mean well share it with us but the part of the beef was

  • 49:56

are Kelly didn't species I'm so sick in a mixie boy honestly enough of y'all

  • 50:05

stupid he didn't want he didn't want anybody backstage he didn't want anybody in the halls when you say he who are you

  • 50:11

referring to are Kelly got it he didn't want anybody in the halls when he was walking through and and he didn't want

  • 50:18

anybody looking him in his eyes and yeah but you can't be yo yo

  • 50:25

but you came here it's always so a bunch of [ __ ] and tell me I look you in yes a who you know get on my hole

  • 50:32

are you my or you got a number one we can't do that you can't do that I knew

  • 50:37

that with it was over for that [ __ ] at that point you don't want grown [ __ ] from the hood look you in your face well one day we're gonna have we gotta have a

  • 50:43

Congress in that today because we have him seated conversation one day we got to have a talk about some of the rules at the show like yeah I don't know is it

  • 51:24

just bad because like I said you start you start questioning a lot of [ __ ] that she was raised on and a lot of people

  • 51:31

that you kind of looked up to at some point you know I mean when you get old enough you start looking back and you start really thinking about [ __ ] like I

  • 51:37

lied to my life like I started feeling like that oh hey what do you think you

  • 51:42

weren't I mean I'm at the point now I'm starting to feel like I was especially in a lot of areas well you were man yeah

  • 51:49

like god that's you know if lied to is really the right phrasing cuz that was okay and people were living that way I

  • 51:57

don't know if they were lying to you that's just how people were living and it's just a sick disgusting way to live well you live you live how they make you

  • 52:03

live in a controlled society which I don't know is a lie it might sound better if they was lying no they was

  • 52:10

telling the truth they were doing it well now I'm lost who's there whoever we're doing the abuse of things to

  • 52:17

people oh no I relate everything back to the government I relate everything back to

  • 52:23

the go yeah I mean when you say they

  • 52:29

everything every instance the the environment that we were all living in in the things that people were doing

  • 52:34

maybe not lying maybe just trying to hide some things but living that way yeah or make it seem

  • 52:40

that it was okay for those types of things to happen and I mean I guess what I mean when I say I related everything

  • 52:46

back to the government is some of these sick conversations that we're having are very common practice and low income the

  • 52:55

lower income neighborhoods that's what I mean so in my brain anyway and again I

  • 53:03

drop out I don't know the government expects certain things from certain parts of geography these conversations

  • 53:11

that we have and about what was going on in that house wherever that house was was it Chicago Chicago yeah when we told

  • 53:18

my incest we talked about abuse we probably tell about addiction apart on

  • 53:23

my mental health where where there was never a fixed it was never therapy that was never they've all of these chances

  • 53:30

to say no or do something different it never occurred very very common and my

  • 53:36

brain I related all that to population control like in my brain I relate that yeah I do I relate everything I do well

  • 53:45

I'm coming clean you know so let me go down this rabbit hole of relating everything so I'm watching the joke I'm

  • 53:51

watching the the part 6 of the r.kelly doc and and it's toward the end after

  • 54:00

the older 35 year old fan story was told and it's toward the end and they're showing clips about how people feel and

  • 54:08

Charlemagne's there and ebro's there and I'm just deer playing with my kid and I'm having a blast and then they showed a clip of us the

  • 54:17

Joe Budden podcasts it was an older clip it was from when we recorded at Ferraris

  • 54:22

in New Jersey before we were at parks um I can't say I remember it but we said

  • 54:29

the right [ __ ] we said when I saw us come up there yes cantle I was a little

  • 54:35

nervous um but we said look before you get to you being nerve innervation Asst

  • 54:41

let's say we said the right thing yeah we did we said the right thing that's important highlight um so now let's get

  • 54:49

to Rory's nervousness and I commend you for your nervousness why are you nervous I was nervous

  • 54:55

because sometimes with this podcast I think some of our joking can come off

  • 55:01

the wrong way and sometimes we can be a bit insensitive in the earlier days what

  • 55:06

so I was a little bit nervous that maybe we were joking about something we shouldn't have been joking about that's

  • 55:13

all I understand you what a luxury to be nervous about jokes right so I'm nervous

  • 55:23

right now as you should be but that's why we're gonna talk about it this is that that's why we're probably

  • 55:29

the only place that is gonna have some of these conversations that I'm about to have because our clip came up on that on

  • 55:36

that screen and and I own it so that's a

  • 55:42

licensing issue I wasn't I wasn't asked for that footage to be used so I was

  • 55:50

just as shocked as everyone else was I was learning that we were on this dock in real time same yeah and the more I

  • 55:58

thought about it I said to myself okay the thinking there is probably with such

  • 56:04

a greater good happening they probably don't assume that somebody is coming forward to claim money from from them

  • 56:12

airing their dock mmm like there's a goal there's an objective who's that

  • 56:18

creep right the answer is whoever it is it's not me it's not me um so I thought

  • 56:25

I thought nothing more of it until I began to read things and as I began to

  • 56:34

    read things I saw a lot of horrible [ __ ] I saw a lot of horrible [ __ ] being said

  • 56:47

and it made me harken look hearken yes I know but serious [ __ ] sounds like a rich

  • 56:54

white guys middle name it made me I'll tell you I'm dying [ __ ] it made me go back to our

  • 57:00

conversation last week where some of the fans were killing people for not coming forward and not being a part of this

  • 57:07

dock yeah yeah um and we were saying I think it's a million reasons that people

  • 57:12

would not want to be involved but now I was witnessing it in in in real time um

  • 57:18

boy was I getting killed hmm yeah I was getting dragged through

  • 57:28

the mud for speaking up on such a positive dock such a positive

  • 57:34

informative dock right so I said to myself well [ __ ] that doesn't feel good

  • 57:43

they had lists going around it was like 30 names canceled them all I was there I

  • 57:51

didn't I didn't feel good about it I'll be honest with you guys I'll be out in a moment of transparency I was hurt I was

  • 57:59

hurt by it it didn't sit right with my soul and I thought that maybe would pass

  • 58:05

and I went to sleep and I woke up and it still didn't sit right with my soul and

  • 58:13

that was the moment that I was faced with the decision that many men are

  • 58:20

faced with well how much do I want to talk for some months now I've been

  • 58:28

alluding to this society that makes it not so welcoming for men to share right

  • 58:36

for many reasons men don't share because everything you

  • 58:44

say technically is a deposition and can be used in court mm-hmm that's one men

  • 58:54

don't speak in fear of what may happen to them professionally two and three

  • 59:04

fear period fear because we have indeed treated

  • 59:14

women improperly at some point our lives yes very true I think that's the blanket

  • 59:21

statement that a lot of men just aren't ready to come forth with and that's why

  • 59:27

it's such scary times yeah but these conversations have to be had because you

  • 59:33

have to contextualize some of these things like this is the first week I actually looked up the word abuse it

  • 59:41

said improper usage period guilty I have

  • 59:48

utilized women and properly at some point in life I have utilized people improperly seeing that's why

  • 59:55

contextualizing is important some of this stuff is not gender specific at all

  • 1:00:00

at all some of this stuff is humanity some of this stuff is people treating

  • 1:00:06

people improperly but forget about all that for a second so I saw my name on

  • 1:00:11

all of these lists and then people started to hit my mentions let's talk about it we have a much larger audience

  • 1:00:17

today a lot more people are looking at and paid paying attention to Joe Budden today than they were before so people

  • 1:00:23

naturally start to hit my mentions and say yo Joe I'm seeing some [ __ ] that's

  • 1:00:29

care to share I was unaware I saw that I

  • 1:00:35

saw a little bit I saw a lot of and this is a wildfire one person says something

  • 1:00:43

20 people say wait what happened and now that person's word is a certified and

  • 1:00:51

now if you don't jump in and you don't say something that word just continues

  • 1:00:57

to be certified yeah see that's the other thing here silence let's talk

  • 1:01:03

about it we don't talk about a lot today silence in the court of public opinion

  • 1:01:09

is an admission of guilt for most people

  • 1:01:14

if you did not do something you just come forward and say hey I didn't do that in this and

  • 1:01:20

and this it's a bit more layered and I would like to use myself as an example

  • 1:01:27

because I owe it to people that's why I'm doing it I owe it to certain people and I've

  • 1:01:33

never done anything to help myself hmm I'm having this conversation because

  • 1:01:39

morally it's the correct thing to do and there's no more inappropriate time than

  • 1:01:46

right the second yeah so for the people that were talking to me confused looking

  • 1:01:52

for clarity let me try my best as as as a mature responsible adult to help

  • 1:02:00

myself years ago I was in a relationship

  • 1:02:06

with a woman that I was not compatible with and we had a bad breakup I take

  • 1:02:15

that back we didn't have a bad breakup we handled

  • 1:02:20

our breakup badly there's a difference

  • 1:02:27

I'm a I've never spoken about this in depth not in fear of ramification but

  • 1:02:36

out of respect hmm out of respect for the young lady out of respect for hurt

  • 1:02:43

child or children her family my family

  • 1:02:50

and that's just an answer thing to do when you put some behind you you just try to put it behind you but let's get

  • 1:02:56

into it I was in a relationship with a woman that I was not compatible with nor

  • 1:03:01

was i behaving like a man that was in a committed relationship I was not behaving like I was I was

  • 1:03:11

telling someone one thing and I was doing another thing that's what was

  • 1:03:17

happening years later let's talk about it um I was not considerate to my

  • 1:03:24

partner's feelings I was not behaving in a manner that was indicative of someone that was in a monogamous relationship

  • 1:03:30

I was exited I was disconnected right and I'm keeping this on me because I

  • 1:03:37

want to I want to always be mindful to respect other people their anonymity and

  • 1:03:44

people that just want to move forward and put certain things behind them um that bad breakup culminated in domestic

  • 1:03:53

abuse allegations and me being ordered away from my home for weeks at a time

  • 1:04:00

eight weeks to be exact six to eight weeks that was two months at the end of

  • 1:04:05

the trial period I could return that was to give the authorities the time for

  • 1:04:11

their due diligence and to do proper research to these allegations that's a

  • 1:04:19

conversation to be had and I'm the perfect person to have it because I've gone through this in New Jersey and New

  • 1:04:26

York and my experience was very different both times I'm here to share it with you guys in New Jersey they took

  • 1:04:35

a lot of time to get to the bottom of what happened I was ordered away from

  • 1:04:40

the young lady for her safety and protection because states don't play the

  • 1:04:46

states in that plan with women safety is what I'm saying so I was ordered away

  • 1:04:53

they spoke to her in private they allowed her the proper time to remove

  • 1:05:00

her belongings and get her situation together and we were to return to court

  • 1:05:06

and when we returned to court the young lady stood up after some of those

  • 1:05:12

feelings in that angry moment had passed after we were trying to hurt each other

  • 1:05:19

cuz that's what we were doing after the break-up we did a bunch of interviews where the sole objective was to hurt the

  • 1:05:24

other person certainly somebody out there can understand this stuff this

  • 1:05:31

stuff is never said news flashy one that

  • 1:05:36

she killed those interviews I was horrible I was young I was immature I was on

  • 1:05:44

pills dark time's for me I was rebellious I had

  • 1:05:54

    this I don't give a [ __ ] attitude that I've managed to shed somehow I've

  • 1:06:01

learned no certain things you got to care about I didn't really get the ramifications of even the accusation

  • 1:06:08

back then so I did nothing to help myself and unfortunately when the judge

  • 1:06:17

throws this stuff out it's not really publicized the way it's publicized when

  • 1:06:22

the allegations are birthed true or false

  • 1:06:28

fast fast forward fast forward and

  • 1:06:33

typical Joe but in fashion I make the same mistake more than once I later get

  • 1:06:39

involved with a young lady who I didn't know very much about and she didn't know very much about me it was short-lived it

  • 1:06:45

didn't last very long and when it ended she felt she had a lot of emotion and

  • 1:06:53

she went about that emotion at that time the best that she thought how which

  • 1:07:00

resulted in me again putting on a clinic

  • 1:07:07

and how not to use the Internet again as I proclaim my innocence I

  • 1:07:14

cursed out the police I cursed out the system I cursed out her I cursed

  • 1:07:21

everybody out zero accountability at the time I then faced an aggressive

  • 1:07:30

prosecutor and DA's office in New York who didn't seem so concerned with

  • 1:07:36

finding out the truth they was trying to hang a [ __ ] they were going hard I went

  • 1:07:46

to court for two years I went through the same exact process that anybody else would go through if a cop knocks on your

  • 1:07:51

door and says hey somebody said some things please come with us that's what

  • 1:07:57

occurred I don't think that because I went

  • 1:08:03

through these things and was found innocent of all of these things that

  • 1:08:08

that [ __ ] omit me from having a voice and having something to say about

  • 1:08:16

predators pedophilia and men who commit

  • 1:08:21

abuse on women that's where this gets a little confusing for me um that's where

  • 1:08:31

most of my that's where most of my feelings came from as I read as I read

  • 1:08:38

these lists so I guess so I just I came

  • 1:08:44

away from all of that saying well goddamn and well what system do we

  • 1:08:50

respect today again I checked the boxes I faced the judge the judge threw it out

  • 1:08:58

if we won't respect that system the alleged victim came forward and

  • 1:09:03

spoke and exonerated me if we won't respect that clearly if you look if you

  • 1:09:09

have eyes and ears I don't I don't behave the way that I used to behave so we not respect and reform so what part

  • 1:09:19

are we going to respect and then that's where this this this movement gets

  • 1:09:24

cloudy a little bit because I need to separate the people that are actually

  • 1:09:29

invested in this past the tweet past you're saying something and going on

  • 1:09:35

about your life from the people that's just bandwagoning because it's trendy

  • 1:09:41

from the people that are just hopping on trying to demoralize another human being

  • 1:09:47

that's totally different I'm invested in this a different way

  • 1:09:53

because my life was nearly altered behind false allegations I try not to

  • 1:09:59

say that because unfortunately there's no way for a man to defend himself against that without sounding and

  • 1:10:07

sensitive to actual victims of these things

  • 1:10:12

and that's what this is about so when I read my name bunched up with this stuff

  • 1:10:18

I think about the young lady I think

  • 1:10:24

about the disrespect how insensitive it is to hurt her people me my fiancee my

  • 1:10:31

family not to sound like Kevin Hart at what point do we allow people to put any

  • 1:10:37

moment in time behind them when you go

  • 1:10:42

    through incidents like these a

  • 1:10:48

restraining order is immediately placed as they try to figure out what happened

  • 1:10:54

um so again because there were restraining orders in place I wasn't

  • 1:11:01

running to the Internet to say hey the young lady and I are are great we're we're fine we're happy this is behind us

  • 1:11:08

we were wrong we apologize to each other we had some different conversations at later times where we both figured that

  • 1:11:15

we just wild out for a little bit was wrong and we bugged nor do you owe that to the public want to make that part

  • 1:11:20

clear - well apparently that's where it's tricky yeah that's where tricky

  • 1:11:26

because you're right in my opinion you don't you do kind of you do yeah I

  • 1:11:34

you're a public servant which last week I just said we're all public servants

  • 1:11:39

then you may be overt a little bit because there was a restraining order in place I never got to say that I later

  • 1:11:46

spoke to my second accuser and she had no I was so shocked that her life was

  • 1:11:52

altered by her moment and her decision-making in that time she didn't

  • 1:11:58

anticipate that see those are the conversations we're not having sometimes

  • 1:12:05

people say things in a moment of anger and then they want nothing to do with that because it's not only someone

  • 1:12:13

else's life altered it's theirs as well and the lady back up off that this is

  • 1:12:19

why the law is trying to get to the bottom of the law trying to lock [ __ ] up the law one [ __ ] $100,000 in bail

  • 1:12:25

but the law is on your ass they not playing with y'all I never got the saying is though I never

  • 1:12:33

helped myself in these in these instances I don't think it's fair that

  • 1:12:39

my name is bunched up with people who have open cases open investigations

  • 1:12:48

people that have people that have victims who feel like they were silenced

  • 1:12:53

by certain institutions nothing that's happening like this cannot be an

  • 1:13:01

    emotional movement sorry it's very

  • 1:13:07

dangerous I don't mean to be I don't want to offend anybody no no I am certainly respectful of what's going on over this

  • 1:13:14

rink [ __ ] didn't know me know women are God's greatest creation to me but we

  • 1:13:19

cannot be emotional we have to be responsible in this moment of time with

  • 1:13:25

the power that we have if not it's it's sheer hypocrisy and we're guilty of the very same thing that we're accusing

  • 1:13:32

people of which is abusing power and taking advantage of and more important

  • 1:13:39

we have to be very honest with each other in these times and in situations like these that honest communication you

  • 1:13:46

know in acceptance acceptance is important I don't think a lot of people are you know we don't move past a lot of

  • 1:13:53

[ __ ] because people don't accept their part and their own weight and you know what you just what you just said was

  • 1:13:59

finally you know accepting that yes I did things in my relationship that I

  • 1:14:04

caused a lot of [ __ ] a lot of reaction what therapy teaches you to keep it all on you so while these accusations were

  • 1:14:11

flying more you know I never looked at for me and this and this hurt me at the

  • 1:14:18

time but I never looked at damn well

  • 1:14:23

then I always looked like damn why a little stuff happening I didn't do that how could you believe that and I never it took therapy and intense therapy for

  • 1:14:30

me to look at it and say who cares who cares what part did I play in getting us

  • 1:14:36

both to this place where this occurred but I

  • 1:14:41

think that's the part that some people miss right but we can't be in this space

  • 1:14:46

where we allow where we don't allow people to feel and to make mistakes

  • 1:14:53

sorry as horrible as all of this sounds it is a part of my journey it's a part

  • 1:15:00

of me realizing certain [ __ ] and growing up a little bit like life is gonna give

  • 1:15:06

all of y'all different things to teach us all different things it's me it's

  • 1:15:11

    what makes us us and my [ __ ] was [ __ ]

  • 1:15:16

up hey if somebody come to you and tell you some some horrible [ __ ] that Joe did

  • 1:15:21

    some negative [ __ ] what you should say is we'll win I ain't up ain't ya I mean

  • 1:15:31

but holier than thou yeah I must say deeper than that Joe you know none of us

  • 1:15:36

are without sin right so it's like we all know like once one rumors start all

  • 1:15:44

the rumors start like everybody relax

  • 1:15:50

everybody relax I am so grateful that these conversations are able to be had

  • 1:15:57

today because another part that was missing and all of that was and that was

  • 1:16:05

probably it toward that the end of it but I was a mental health case for at

  • 1:16:11

least 10 to 20 years at that time those conversations couldn't be had it was a

  • 1:16:19

window to say that as a society and

  • 1:16:24

that's why you know I try to highlight arc are Kelly and his abuser because as

  • 1:16:30

a society we're negligent to people that are abused like abuse breeds abuse

  • 1:16:38

hurt breeds hurt victims victim might like it's a cycle of [ __ ] and if I'm not

  • 1:16:47

allowed to feel uncomfortable at mere sight of my name by some of these allegations and mentions then what is

  • 1:16:55

the purpose of the cause and I'm not

  • 1:17:01

asking to be funny I'm asking I'm asking like for enlightenment like the there

  • 1:17:10

are real predators amongst us the second that we have factual evidence against

  • 1:17:18

some of these [ __ ] know who gonna be the first [ __ ] to come on this platform and tell two million people per week you

  • 1:17:25

[ __ ] guessed it Joe Joe Joe be

  • 1:17:33

banished it's like tell me what tell me what the problem what protocol is here

  • 1:17:38

I should be thrown thrown to the [ __ ] side cuz I was young and didn't know how

  • 1:17:44

    to deal with [ __ ] now I don't think that's the motive I don't think that's

  • 1:17:52

    the goal I don't think that's the objective when that I don't even I don't

  • 1:17:57

even like to highlight that hypocrisy because I feel like the people that are involved with this movement they not

  • 1:18:02

dumb you know I like the LA people say hey it's not it's not that late people [ __ ] up LA as y'all that's kind of

  • 1:18:10

that's kind of how I feel about that I'm off on a tangent here so feel free to

  • 1:18:16

jump in know what it was oh no I think you covered yeah what you needed to cover you needed to get that off and I

  • 1:18:21

think it's an appropriate time um but like I say you know it's time we reprogram our I think we were program

  • 1:18:28

out thinking like it's cool for us to love our women you know it's cool for us to respect our women it's cool for us to

  • 1:18:34

uplift our women it's cool for us to support our women and I think we got to get back into a mindset of really

  • 1:18:41

walking and living about it I'm telling that that's why my mom was down this rabbit hole mall because as I was

  • 1:18:47

reading all these things one of the things that stood out to me and I never felt like this before I never thought

  • 1:18:52

this was I was only reading this from black woman right like it wasn't nobody

  • 1:18:58

else saying these horrible things about me but black woman and that led me to the the underlining

  • 1:19:06

tension that does exist between black men and black women about how black

  • 1:19:12

women feel that they've been treated by by by black men right like I'm my husband but this has been a heavy week

  • 1:19:18

man but that's why I said you know it I would have never expected you know the

  • 1:19:24

scenario there's this conversation to come from this docu-series like I think that you know it's it's

  • 1:19:29

it's healthy conversation is healthy I think that it helps people grow it helps

  • 1:19:34

people move on and and you know deal with [ __ ] in their lives and expose things and just bring [ __ ] to the forefront that may be holding them back

  • 1:19:41

and that may be affecting them in ways that they're not even aware of like when you sit down and have conversation I

  • 1:19:47

think we saw about this in Prior before sometimes like a lot of issues are only issues because lack of just a

  • 1:19:55

conversation a simple conversation would resolve all of that and I think that you know moving forward we just need to to

  • 1:20:02

keep that in mind cause it's easy for us to you know talk about this now and in two weeks and then three weeks we don't

  • 1:20:07

even think about this [ __ ] no more because something else will have happened but it but I think we have to do our best to keep this in mind moving

  • 1:20:14

forward that we need to reprogram the way we think and the way we treat women

  • 1:20:20

in a way we you know just just move about in our daily lives just we have to we have to change a lot of things a lot

  • 1:20:26

of things were handed down to us generational and a lot of the times we

  • 1:20:33

can't expect the world to change and then out-thinking be the same oh i'll thinking be the same that was handed

  • 1:20:39

down says we have to change the way that we think and that we you know our relationships with our women and our

  • 1:20:45

lives and not just women that you're in a romantic relationship I'm just talking

  • 1:20:50

about women in general period we have to we have to change the way we think and

  • 1:20:56

we act and we treat our women in our society we have to triger yeah I totally

  • 1:21:02

agree that's the best thing in this whole docu-series and everything surrounding it and the me to movement is

  • 1:21:09

hopefully growth what I learned from watching that doc is not only to meet to

  • 1:21:14

movement there so many different movements yeah like some not as publicized as others but

  • 1:21:21

there are a lot of places for people to go to and yeah I mean get right yeah

  • 1:21:27

yeah and to piggyback off what you said Joe it has been unfortunate with this

  • 1:21:33

too to see the me to movement just trying to catch this trendy online [ __ ]

  • 1:21:40

to your point of it's not the people in LA it's the people that are coming in to [ __ ] it up it falls back to that social

  • 1:21:47

media attention thing I think people the me to movement is made up of women that have been abused they've been through

  • 1:21:52

this for years there's evidence there's all these things that they've had to live through this cancel culture takes a

  • 1:21:57

30-second clip that they see online with no context and adds it into a pile of

  • 1:22:03

people that have gone through a lot of abuse over the past God knows how many years well so that's why I'm trying to

  • 1:22:10

have the conversation because past canceling someone what is the next step

  • 1:22:15

see some people are only gonna say hey he did that cancel them there's so much

  • 1:22:20

more to be done I almost feel like it's almost in this weird sick selfish way when people do some of that canceled

  • 1:22:27

culture [ __ ] cuz it's not for the moral reasons of what they say it is it's hey

  • 1:22:32

I'll probably get a lot of attention if I quote expose this person for a two-second clip with no context at all

  • 1:22:39

because that's what everyone else is talking about it has nothing to do with a women that were actually in that documentary that are part of the

  • 1:22:44

meatsuit movement we're all morally sound until we go home they're like what

  • 1:22:53

else are we gonna see here what I will say is I am shocked at the amount of people that are still riding with Robert

  • 1:22:58

yeah they're still out disturbing every day every day I was someone tweeting me knob you can separate the music tweets

  • 1:23:07

of people calling us [ __ ] yeah well I'm no no siding like y'all are just

  • 1:23:13

siding with women y'all a [ __ ] like Jesus Christ it yeah really well that's

  • 1:23:20

another reason that these conversations are is so great that they're being had because men are really telling you how

  • 1:23:25

sick they are yeah like ladies you don't have to do much investigative

  • 1:23:32

work right like men speaking about this loan topic to tell you exactly where the

  • 1:23:39

respect level is for women and how they feel about women

  • 1:23:44

I was watching somebody who I shall not name why I felt for a little while now

  • 1:23:50

has just had zero respect for women and it's all stance is yeah I totally understand are yeah yeah I get it man

  • 1:23:57

he's a little chicken fast mama like the subtext and some of the things that men

  • 1:24:04

are saying is it's intolerable it's difficult to read it's difficult to bear and again it's been a really heavy week

  • 1:24:11

for me I have watched this document

  • 1:24:18

people it's always interesting to see the men that speak on this situation that don't have daughters I think that's

  • 1:24:26

interesting I think I've seen a lot of guys you know social media jump out there and say some things and I'm like damn like that's how you feel about this

  • 1:24:32

and they don't start looking at that me like oh you know you don't have no kids or he has a son two sons I don't I don't

  • 1:24:38

have any daughters but I have a mom and that's why you know what it is because

  • 1:24:48

people don't it if it if it doesn't directly affect them you know it's kind

  • 1:24:54

of like a yes a lot of people saying that about Sparkle they did they were saying oh you was cool with with him

  • 1:25:01

doing this to anybody else but once it was your niece you know you had a lot of guilt that you are right right yeah is

  • 1:25:09

this a messy situation man it's it's messy uh save on just showed me a report that

  • 1:25:15

said in LAN is thinking about filing filing charges or invest Oh our Kelly rapport Kelly reportedly under

  • 1:25:21

investigation in Georgia for possible criminal charges listen if I'm watching that doc it's man time to get that [ __ ]

  • 1:25:30

why he was crossing state lines yeah with yeah with with minors yeah so this doesn't have to just be an Atlanta

  • 1:25:37

thing he faked Aidid though the premises when it got hot over there when the reports came

  • 1:25:42

he's set up shop somewhere different this is not solely an Atlanta thing if

  • 1:25:49

we do some digging I did I tell you last week I feel like they go together that's

  • 1:25:56

already trafficking right there the last recent two outside of joseline savage

  • 1:26:01

like the one that was on the actual dock yeah they say here prosecutors reportedly claim they already have one

  • 1:26:07

woman ready to testify so they feel very strongly that they have a case already this is without questioning any of the

  • 1:26:12

women that were in that documentary oh good I feel like in the future women and young men will come forward I hope so I

  • 1:26:20

hope so this is this is a positive thing even though it's hard to digest and hard

  • 1:26:27

to watch and hard to stomach and hard to apply to your own life and realize that

  • 1:26:32

that thing type of thing may be happening or have happened to people that you love mm-hmm but it's it's something that we need to

  • 1:26:39

do it's important okay was that was that responsible was that a responsible 90

  • 1:26:46

minutes I think it was yes oh absolutely I think it was a healthy 90 minutes okay

  • 1:26:53

good I would play outstanding but I'm not it's 2019 switching up on us yeah

  • 1:27:04

both played at the barbecue [Music]

  • 1:27:09

and this is outstanding 1b what this is outstanding park B Part B when I was

  • 1:27:17

thinking about making a switch I was like oh [ __ ] you could let that rock until he says tell me that's not a body

  • 1:27:36

spotted back in the studio what star Rihanna no we know that buyer we back to

  • 1:27:44

the jokes we back to the joke she was spotted back on mute she she stays on

  • 1:27:50

mute in the studio why would she previous to that information Rihanna is and can I get a note I get

  • 1:27:55

like a a flat no nah fam you get it when the world get it yep I could see her

  • 1:28:01

drop in though and spring some time and I think that uh Jay Cole you know he's

  • 1:28:07

miss in the studio brother slow down we get our music face and you won't be

  • 1:28:22

produced we got it we got nothing really to talk about Rihanna we don't we ain't here not blow Wendy I think the album's coming I have plenty to say about

  • 1:28:28

Rihanna y'all never get into the psychology of records sometimes it

  • 1:28:33

depends on the artist okay so listen till we need Frankie Beverly amazed again no no Club it here we go sometimes you

  • 1:28:44

just hear records man I'm gonna play this record I'm gonna play this record because the queen is coming man

  • 1:28:51

[Music] but I believe I was gonna say that no one's putting it straight forward I

  • 1:28:57

believe I believe her I know but let's kind of Rihanna does have lying I know but when you get into the thinking of it

  • 1:29:04

like sex is supposed to be about the other person like the brain of the woman

  • 1:29:09

that's walking in the room and telling you that's sex with her is amazing if

  • 1:29:16

there's one girl that can get that off i'ma let Rihanna get that one off actually I think she's giving everyone if not I'm

  • 1:29:24

gonna find out if she's telling the truth y'all haven't bumped into that girl but the girl is this extra with

  • 1:29:30

telling you how great it's usually those I'm no I'm a roll with Rihanna I don't

  • 1:29:38

think she's one of those green Honor we believe yeah yeah sometime of the rest of them oh my head is crazy there's

  • 1:29:45

always the my head is crazy girl any girl that just holding time lied on a Wednesday at 3 p.m.

  • 1:29:52

trying to tell me about her box yeah it's a pride can't be that good my head is crazy you get the head you find out is mad sane the head is crazy saying

  • 1:30:01

like there's nothing crazy about that head how convenient is that Wow [ __ ]

  • 1:30:07

literally her head yeah well you got a judge more than they're telling you how great their head is so you gotta judge

  • 1:30:12

them yeah and see I'm telling you I'm bringing some chicks near one day but this but this thing with chicks are

  • 1:30:20

gonna say that we shouldn't be speaking to women who were telling us how great their head is on a Wednesday because

  • 1:30:25

we're too old for that I'm too old to talk about how great a woman's head is I know you too old to deal with the woman

  • 1:30:32

that's talking about how great our head is on the Wednesday afternoon they might have a point sure yeah they may have a point

  • 1:30:37

yeah whoa man yeah the depo do you want

  • 1:30:48

to be mad gonna shoot you is funny oh

  • 1:30:57

okay let me grab my [ __ ] phone and see what's going on Golden Globes

  • 1:31:05

that now you weren't act cool no I said that it wasn't much to happen it was

  • 1:31:11

cool that's a scathing hot take yeah yeah Golden Gloves cool this just why do people listen to this part well why do

  • 1:31:17

y'all why do y'all do a podcast it's like about to tell people stuff whenever

  • 1:31:31

I have pre-production regarding this show I just start laughing pre-production where's people reduction that my Golden

  • 1:31:43

Globes take was they did though diversify audience thing with the Asian

  • 1:31:48

host and the other host I think the whole store one guy I think the host didn't do the greatest the greatest job

  • 1:31:57

I felt like that they were doing that sarcastically do it Andy samberg's

  • 1:32:02

comedic thing is sarcasm yeah awesome didn't connect we knew those about that

  • 1:32:13

like sometimes that's true okay I think

  • 1:32:18

we're hosting to like you're going to the all of America here just be straight funny take it easy

  • 1:32:24

like you tried to always intelligence Socrates were to impress your other comedic friends be an out the next

  • 1:32:32

coming announcer with like false credit you're trying to impress the stand-up

  • 1:32:37

comedians dog it's all gonna the middle America here seemed rushed st. uh just didn't

  • 1:32:44

seem like they were ready to get the job done which is fine we've all been there before my scathing hot take came when in

  • 1:32:52

that room full of amazing talent amazing writers amazing actors actresses the

  • 1:32:59

tools that were bombing decided to include Jim Carrey from the audience and Jim Carrey stole the room and Jim Carrey

  • 1:33:07

and I said to myself why on God's green earth did two holes that are bombing try

  • 1:33:13

to include one of the greatest brains of Holi get this off me to a genius yeah

  • 1:33:18

yeah that came off right though I wasn't

  • 1:33:24

giving him props for that already handed it off that's definitely what they plan

  • 1:33:29

to do yeah the dope ass off in a relay don't ever get credit yeah I grab I grabbed it was on arrest

  • 1:33:36

God Joe break it down grab the baton and I ran that's important because if you fumble the hand off

  • 1:33:42

that's true you have no chance you have no shot truck that was real big on every day race thing that's nodos your event

  • 1:33:47

parks I'm just curious don't say event to me don't say I don't

  • 1:33:56

have an event I know somebody fans say they I need to look at Rory more it's on

  • 1:34:02

I'm trying to do it but it's weird that's why I've never taken offensive

  • 1:34:08

everything is in that area so I'm just like a mall is here the computers is

  • 1:34:13

music not school week a little bit I'm

  • 1:34:23

looking Rory and I still can't see his pocket come on man give me a look Ross quarter angle there you go boys

  • 1:34:29

it's not just if the rest of podcast Wow

  • 1:34:38

Safari line oh man let me see all right what else is happening oh nothing stay

  • 1:34:45

with music Rick Ross tried to tease us I didn't like that game my phone call just blaze right now get my phone that's a

  • 1:34:51

good idea for those that don't know Rick Ross sweetie just blaze don't know it's just birthday okay you talk about his

  • 1:34:58

birthday I was trying to inform the viewers on what we're talking about Rick Ross

  • 1:35:03

tweeted just blaze said can someone so just place thank you even though he added him in it and then after that tweet he said hey someone tell justice

  • 1:35:10

league as well I said thank you so the two I would say my favorite producers

  • 1:35:16

with Rick Ross he thanked all of the deuces of your favorite for Ross no I'm

  • 1:35:21

gonna just clean up John's Dre shot money oh now we're also Justice League and

  • 1:35:30

just plays our would be my two favorites that's that's fair pink no idea that's

  • 1:35:35

true I was waiting for him to tweet pink yeah are you gonna call Jess on his birthday yeah if I could figure out it

  • 1:35:41

worked my phone is taking them too much space

  • 1:35:48

now just doesn't answer me normally don't expect anyone it's worth it on his birthday Joey what up huh Just Blaze

  • 1:35:58

this is Joe Budden from the Joe Budden podcast how are you I know but I have to

  • 1:36:06

inform you that we're live on my palm oh I have a couple of them I have a couple

  • 1:36:14

cool questions I don't want to hold you I saw you I saw you and Rick Ross tweeting to each other and that was an event for me because I'm a hip-hop

  • 1:36:20

savant okay and I know that you open up this special folder for Ross how dope is

  • 1:36:26

this beat oh you know do some lord knows

  • 1:36:36

these type of things would just bleh I mean we're across you played him a

  • 1:36:43

folder you wouldn't play other rappers

  • 1:36:56

watch your words you heard this beaten [Applause] [Laughter]

  • 1:37:06

all right I mean this would be DePaul didn't pay for that's all alright it's

  • 1:37:14

my second question to you I just celebrated my child's one year old birthday I remember calling you when he

  • 1:37:21

wasn't born yet saying yo you should give me a beat

  • 1:37:37

    [Music]

  • 1:37:52

it's pretty good you should let me produce the Just Blaze alright so I'm

  • 1:38:00

glad top 5 Just Blaze beats do you think

  • 1:38:06

the pump it up is in there cuz I saw the people going around with a list today

  • 1:38:11

and I was kind of offended now I thought

  • 1:38:17

it should be highlighted that at the time [ __ ] wasn't running to you for their first single not true I should get

  • 1:38:25

credit come on just I don't get no credit for coming to you and saying y'all need that smash you was doing

  • 1:38:33

whole albums all right so look so I don't know that it's necessarily top 5

  • 1:38:40

beats I think it's top 5 I agree with it did you see something art I agree with

  • 1:38:46

that I mean what's the movie always that

  • 1:38:59

would have got more problems chokehold

  • 1:39:06

yes today today that's in year 16 right just

  • 1:39:11

got the better splits there this year

  • 1:39:30

oh wait oh now remember you dug me out of a higher percentage you got a higher

  • 1:39:44

percentage of oh boy yeah that is robbery's [ __ ] lame

  • 1:39:51

no because the way that happened was cam rushed in to the radio and had he just wait we were gonna remove the sample but

  • 1:39:57

he did it hmm so the fact that a sample took a lot so I was like hey if you hadn't given me an extra day we would

  • 1:40:05

have just removed the sample and we would have been in the free might a

  • 1:40:15

couple miles directly oh wait here's one just I got one for you and I need you that I need you to be honest here and I

  • 1:40:20

believe you all have recently Rory mall and myself we were well

  • 1:40:26

actually mall um I said we were talking to home about the pump it up remix and hole hole swore to his heart that he was

  • 1:40:34

not dissing me at all I don't believe he said I said it was

  • 1:40:42

more so it's about just I think like [ __ ] with just like cuz he didn't I'm saying he was like give me that be full

  • 1:40:48

we talking to just so I'm gonna give you

  • 1:41:02

a rundown of the history of pump it up real quick some parts to are obviously

  • 1:41:08

were there for some parts one of Greater songs ever I think I made that stream

  • 1:41:13

it's well Jay was doing um I don't normally use this word anymore but [ __ ] please from the

  • 1:41:18

blueprints ooh mmm okay great record um J was doing that

  • 1:41:23

before all in one room Oh at baseline so I made I was making that beat in the B

  • 1:41:30

room I heard it I knew was a smash I called him and I called him listen to

  • 1:41:36

this he heard it was like alright yeah but I'm going to do this uh Pharrell

  • 1:41:42

record I'll be back [ __ ] it on you never saw me I'm gonna go

  • 1:41:48

talk to Pharrell I just blaze stay proud but he was

  • 1:42:01

already out and obviously rot the mic was the big record from state property so I don't know whose project or why we

  • 1:42:08

were there but with all of us or all of us meaning me and all of state property we're living in LA for a while this was

  • 1:42:15

I think this was the trip the trip reggae had the car crash when he was in LA the alleged car crash right we were

  • 1:42:30

in LA working and I brought that pump it up beat I put the beat back up added a

  • 1:42:36

few extra things so I'm still working on it and you know Freeway at the time would literally rap on anything that I would

  • 1:42:42

ever give him so he was running around to it B's was very high and was like and I

  • 1:42:52

envisioned it as the follow-up to rock the mic that's why I brought up state property so then a bunch of random like

  • 1:42:59

yo West Coast dudes like second and third and fourth generation Dogg Pound

  • 1:43:05

guys that like you better family you know like they were all members of me

  • 1:43:11

they were all of the studio they started writing raps - and um like the beat off

  • 1:43:22

[Music] hey you're the studio and I was making EP I

  • 1:43:32

didn't like it you didn't like it daddy they put on the pump it up you were like

  • 1:43:37

what's that and we did what we did two months later by the studio with Jay and he's like yo that Joe but John is is

  • 1:43:45

fresh but like this time you make something like they play it for me first as funny I feel like that about this

  • 1:43:50

show me what you got beat he was like but I feel like he made that beat for me

  • 1:43:55

    really listen I know I wasn't important

  • 1:44:06

Jay said to me play it for me first next time and I said but I didn't come you want to hang over for oh mmm hey why do

  • 1:44:13

you say that wait hold up this is this is my last question that I need an honest answer to from you yeah who's

  • 1:44:18

Pharrell beats do you pick holes or Nori's who got the better

  • 1:44:25

Pharrell cattle oh you don't even know

  • 1:44:32

what you have Inori oh no [ __ ] on the

  • 1:44:39

run Eden what's natal homeboy I came to party was the name of that record [ __ ] yeah what

  • 1:44:45

are you talking about that's it that's that's big records oh no he has a few

  • 1:44:54

more records than that tell me how many records over throw it close F all night

  • 1:45:02

    Noorie 100 you're so bias please there's

  • 1:45:23

more they don't forgetting there's a lot we're breaking my rules try not to talk about Oh miss excuse me miss wait

  • 1:45:30

all right we gotta go [Laughter]

  • 1:45:36

thank you and at some point I'm still gonna want that beat with the choir you

  • 1:45:45

happy birthday happy birthday just yeah thanks just enjoy your birthday man all

  • 1:45:54

right she'll just blaze go just yeah

  • 1:46:03

every time I die you're just voice are your whole thing day may millions just made millions I wanted to ask him about

  • 1:46:15

the this the silent go beef that him and Kanye head back to any baseline he

  • 1:46:20

woulda said that he was battling for like placements he he would have said it was just healthy competition they were pushing each other you know what you

  • 1:46:26

know just no more just with the dreads

  • 1:46:32

    nah be the dread didn't give a [ __ ] he

  • 1:46:40

wasn't feeling Kanye being up a base line every day why he was that's a go over his head yeah who wins in a beat

  • 1:46:47

battle Kanye just pink or Justice League

  • 1:46:53

okay so is the beat battle gonna be them playing records or just beats and are

  • 1:46:58

they new beats or old beats is it their catalog that we're debating I'm saying we're just nobody no records no records

  • 1:47:05

just bleats new beats unheard beats exclusive beats who wins just beats

  • 1:47:13

either justice Justice League I think just think no disrespect I think just

  • 1:47:19

beats Justice League I don't know Justin

  • 1:47:25

pink beat Bofur if we talk much yeah I would say y'all hey y'all Sam Dinkin I just said me no I said just a big big I

  • 1:47:30

think all these reach all my beats let's call pink are you crazy

  • 1:47:41

you must have spoke too big I didn't but I mean if he/she I can be carved out okay well now I'm

  • 1:47:49

curious I want to take a little friendly bet that he gets cursed out right

  • 1:47:56

you don't answer no I'm gonna go with he doesn't answer i'ma go he doesn't if he does answer he's gonna say yo you owe me money

  • 1:48:04

    cursed out he'll curse yes that's a

  • 1:48:12

curse out you block you block good luck

  • 1:48:18

don't say goodbye to me yeah traveling

  • 1:48:34

for Michael what he thought about that

  • 1:48:39

befell that hypothetical be battle he's got to him I will say that Justice League finish horse is gonna say he's

  • 1:48:45

gonna say him and he might not be that far off it's someone who's heard all they're like two tracks and [ __ ] like what they come up with yeah Oh Justice

  • 1:48:52

League shits be sounded finished yeah I was about to say Justice League they use so many instrumentation and just to

  • 1:48:59

movie-esque is one in beat battle it's

  • 1:49:04

diff some of that melodic shit's not really I'm thinking that's why I said

  • 1:49:10

big if we took my just beat yeah and so all the Kanye stands we think he's a great producer but nah I just I don't

  • 1:49:17

take away all what I think about his personal life I don't think he fares great at great music like reggae yeah

  • 1:49:22

great records exactly yeah um I don't think we should do a podcast without

  • 1:49:28

highlighting some Toya Toya Browns release I'm getting her name correct yes

  • 1:49:34

save on society that's why I like sivanna should not know its sin Toya you

  • 1:49:42

see all them people trying to come for his job cool the problem is I love save

  • 1:49:55

on so we're gonna keep him still yeah somebody somebody emailed me this is the subject save on trash yo where do I

  • 1:50:04

apply guarantee I can assure you I will always have clips daily there's no

  • 1:50:09

there's no content you guys won't have that I can't make in one second so long you gotta go make it clips in one second

  • 1:50:16

you don't do it in one second and he ends it with secondly everything will be worth researched as y'all say it

  • 1:50:24

research as we say it I did block the

  • 1:50:35

email I don't just have perspective save on he also took the time to thoroughly

  • 1:50:41

read it and you know Rory can't read that's true that's very true what does that tell you his exact word was trying

  • 1:50:48

to hire two kids so yo you open up the replied their reply box though well I

  • 1:50:54

just don't understand why I say one does this job while living in Boston yes it

  • 1:51:00

does that just means Joe's Boston is like another part of Jersey oh wait say

  • 1:51:07

Waddell has lived in Boston this whole time I'm in Westchester you can't help

  • 1:51:15

us this way all right what else has happened there's been aa do we care about the Nicki Nicki and meek spice

  • 1:51:23

Awards know there's been some spice happen that's one side I'm throwing it

  • 1:51:30

to barb mall yo ma'am I would be honest

  • 1:51:40

man y'all know how much I love Nicki man but it's just yeah man it might be time

  • 1:51:47

to just come off that Nicki train there's much as I love Nicki but it's just it's too much [ __ ] going on it's

  • 1:51:52

kind of like so disappointing so does the point with her where events have

  • 1:51:57

taken her I'ma be honest and I love Nicki this funny man Nicki so miles

  • 1:52:02

you're gonna expose somebody secrets it's like yo man once the guy has changed we don't care

  • 1:52:10

and everyone loves him right roots I guarantee he loves me yeah that's crazy

  • 1:52:15

out time change meek was in that relationship and he was the underdog she was the beloved one she sold all the

  • 1:52:22

records forms she was you know she gave him the visibility and he got it now yeah

  • 1:52:28

with it without her even more so than her probably some would say yeah we do

  • 1:52:34

we I think they owe us a messy breakup though it was it was slightly messy

  • 1:52:39

no not messy enough for me I want to see more mess as a lot of people say we're gossip podcast now no that's why I say

  • 1:52:46

that I don't know man I just you know

  • 1:52:51

it's just disappointing to see with Nicky the events have gone Nicky don't

  • 1:52:56

release week secrets it's gonna backfire yeah please don't do that don't I don't even want to know his secrets like me

  • 1:53:02

got wild secrecy for Billy if he's saying someone's spitting in his mouth and that's not a secret the secret

  • 1:53:10

between him Oh Mellie quad no I'm cool

  • 1:53:17

well I did wonder cuz they both brought in New Year's Eve it live now Liv is

  • 1:53:22

large enough to where you can be there with your ex I not see that person but I

  • 1:53:27

don't know if Nicki also tweeted that she missed his Queen Radio well she says

  • 1:53:34

I said it's coming I correlate that she said she has a messiness coming win it at the same time I wish she would get a

  • 1:53:41

Rick away from or unless I wish but I wish she stopped that she can do she can do Queen radio and body it without

  • 1:53:48

addressing anything without without being messy toward anybody class yes she

  • 1:53:53

can do it she has the stature she has the audience she can do it and also said in the first five episodes that hey this

  • 1:54:00

isn't going to be a messy radio show good this is just because this is happening at this moment and then it disappeared when no messiness happened

  • 1:54:06

which goes back to her having a good year as far as music goes annex eyelid album and then just ruining it with

  • 1:54:12

antics instead so none of us paid attention to her good album we just looked at all this [ __ ] that she's

  • 1:54:18

doing seems like 2019 isn't changing much she's in a gang now so she's feeling empowered good show up me I'm kidding of course um

  • 1:54:28

all right so give me your opinion on let's see more spice Awards who do you

  • 1:54:35

think is winning the spice Awards between curry and harden come on come on

  • 1:54:44

let me look at Rory that was a double entendre you really don't ask don't ask me I was double checking just tell me what curry would

  • 1:54:52

win that spice no think so Kurt okay

  • 1:55:00

it's okay we'll work on colors tomorrow [Laughter]

  • 1:55:08

hurry would be spicy let me see that pocket joke pocket yeah y- don't weigh

  • 1:55:17

that pocket there big bid so much sauce Oh Korean are very hardened yes Rory

  • 1:55:26

curry would be spicier than Harden I wouldn't want to eat anything versus

  • 1:55:39

some curry [ __ ] can we make anything great curry shrimp curry chicken that's very Go Go curry rice curry

  • 1:55:47

lasagna they trying to freak it who the

  • 1:55:53

curry chicken mac and cheese and yes I call it the curry Krakens over here

  • 1:55:59

hurry chicken over here that is a travel

  • 1:56:09

yeah yes so why so why how come is not a travel when harden does it it's it's in

  • 1:56:17

the the motion that James does it it kind of looks like a hop step but it is a travel no I don't know but if you look

  • 1:56:27

at these you can take two step back step back again

  • 1:56:33

particular way to mount was one try to

  • 1:56:40

go to dream and eat wings with James that one travel work that was crazy though but I think a lot of the times I

  • 1:56:47

don't I think the rest get caught up in watching the game like we do sometimes that they forget they're officiating the game because they should stop doing that

  • 1:56:53

no cuz that's what that Kevin Durant out-of-bounds fellows that was I don't know how to ref was standing right there and did not he was never he was never in

  • 1:57:00

bounced at home off the bench he took extra step so you can really see that he

  • 1:57:06

was at a fan of bells watching I'm like you know he didn't call it dip before

  • 1:57:12

before curry at the shot I'm like yo he wasn't Katie just running out of bounds yeah I thought the game changed I

  • 1:57:17

thought the NBA rules changed for me now I didn't know what was lesson let's stay on the words for a minute do you guys think draymond Green is overrated now

  • 1:57:23

that he's not producing and they're losing dreama's not over overrated

  • 1:57:28

he's one moment I do think that he's uh if you put him on another team and force

  • 1:57:34

him to do more without superstars I think that you know he to his stock

  • 1:57:40

lowers a lot he's definitely a Wes Welker I think he's a Wes Welker type player put him in that system for the

  • 1:58:11

Patriots Edelman Edelman yeah yeah but

  • 1:58:21

with that said I think if he goes to a different system it's a different thing like when West wannabe rose it was over

  • 1:58:28

was it wasn't wasn't want to run this lot for the wind my flag football

  • 1:58:36

tournament very much Rory tell that to you say friends over here dropped from

  • 1:58:42

track school school you couldn't even Rob his tracks enemy were running track school tracks

  • 1:58:50

move away teacher out of track track oh that's good oh that's cool forgot yeah

  • 1:58:55

that's cool you was definitely in there being predatory in dry class no class to

  • 1:59:03

be a predatory thousand visit that's nasty roar we don't do that yeah alright

  • 1:59:08

wait no yes yes no away from it yeah

  • 1:59:14

please no no I thought that what I'm saying is what I'm not saying is the

  • 1:59:20

track me will be having such nice legs that that's the first thing you say is they run track that was a pick-up line

  • 1:59:27

well babe a wrestle wrestle legs and

  • 1:59:34

wonder why do you have nice legs like watch wreck why are your legs so toned and defined wrestling comes to mind

  • 1:59:41

yeah okay in our DV pocket this [ __ ]

  • 1:59:51

crazy I got it just talk no I wanted to

  • 1:59:58

hit the new Jill button on that one dammit no we're not hitting the new Joe

  • 2:00:05

    Budden hitting some Franky [Laughter]

  • 2:00:10

    [Music] [Laughter]

  • 2:00:17

[Applause] look at me yo and this [ __ ] come on feel

  • 2:00:23

like I'm dancing like kidney whiz I wanna make it like I'm throwing my hat in the air catching it with my me you

  • 2:00:41

lost all DJ privileges that's crazy flip this flip the fader so the crowd

  • 2:00:49

can sing acapella we can't hear them at work you wouldn't get what y'all was

  • 2:00:58

about to say you make me happy I'm not having a problem no question you're not

  • 2:01:05

happy that's the problem question if you and I could actually just cuz you've been in a situation if you propose to a

  • 2:01:10

woman she says no is their relationship automatically over no that's a great

  • 2:01:17

question no no it's not over so what more you need help we don't even

  • 2:01:22

    talk about what you know no I just said no man did I do some [ __ ] [ __ ] I'm

  • 2:01:27

trying to save my relationship it's the mall what I learned is what I learned is

  • 2:01:34

that most people that are proposing right like I learned about premarital

  • 2:01:39

counseling and how much of a necessity it is for certain certain couples and certain

  • 2:01:45

people so it's like common practice certain people propose and then they go

  • 2:01:50

to premarital counseling to make sure they're ready for their bath encounter through marriage so you kind of deal

  • 2:01:56

with all the [ __ ] that was pre-existing mm-hmm I know me me speaking personally me and Cyn didn't really hit a good

  • 2:02:03

stride until we wouldn't if we went to see some money as well so I mean and once we did that it helped me to better understand her helped her to better

  • 2:02:09

understand me that clip last night was before we went to see somebody they're gonna show us seeing somebody but and watching I was like Jesus how could you

  • 2:02:16

not see your point but you gotta get out of your own way so you could see somebody else's point so that's gonna

  • 2:02:22

come but yeah I can see it I know you

  • 2:02:27

premarital counseling it took me by surprise too I was shocked that so many people were that guy was common practice common

  • 2:02:35

practice but the same things same things that are the same way that most people

  • 2:02:40

view therapy saying with premarital counseling some people only go to therapy when when they feel like they

  • 2:02:46

need it like they feel like it's not a constant that need to be a constant thing same I view premarital counseling

  • 2:02:54

the same way in what I've learned in recent morphs anyway I don't know me that's tough to the best stuff to still

  • 2:03:00

be with your lady if you propose and she says no I think that stuff well I'm sure

  • 2:03:06

she's the reason yes actually you would try to figure out what that reason is because it totally changes the

  • 2:03:13

relationship after that like the relationship is different now the energy is different

  • 2:03:18

okay if you get if I don't think it goes and she's no proposing look wait you're ready to spend the rest of your life

  • 2:03:24

well no duh but that you know she should have had these discussions maybe with her yeah if she said if she said no

  • 2:03:29

things were pre-existing like it didn't change things like when I proposed to uh

  • 2:03:34

shorty due up and she said no it wasn't such a shock we weren't talking to each other we

  • 2:03:41

weren't together it wasn't warranted no there was some production [ __ ] in play like that was

  • 2:03:47

producer Joe I don't think she recognized it mom and she had some other grandiose plans about how things would

  • 2:03:53

go afterward and it just didn't play out that way but so what that was she I was producer Joe talking to somebody who

  • 2:03:59

ain't spoke to and mom today wasn't really flying so what they edited out

  • 2:04:06

was she said no and you said let me produce you trust me man go with the

  • 2:04:24

flow oh that is disgusting and toxic

  • 2:04:41

you know you down tonight how many of you what that question will you marry me

  • 2:04:47

are you down or not well that's why which I always tell my earlier with some of the songs they just wouldn't be allowed right now like back in the day

  • 2:04:53

it was common practice to see if you could get somebody to come back to the crib everything about that sounds nasty

  • 2:04:59

right now yeah like why you trying to go to your place well especially cuz she doesn't know either there's a home's you

  • 2:05:04

don't know you Nance he's trying to club and dancing her girls you some drinks and [ __ ] call it a night head to work

  • 2:05:15

creep nasty ass but that's the other thing about canceled culture and not not

  • 2:05:21

to rewind two hours earlier but like there's no test to take for some of the

  • 2:05:28

people to tell if some people are reputable in that like y'all just

  • 2:05:35

represent engines aren't as pure as as yours there's a lot done back here I

  • 2:05:40

won't do it now because I'm [ __ ] but there it stands its dance um what else

  • 2:05:50

happened that we need to talk about our Kelly dockets consume my entire life for the past week so I can't wait till we do

  • 2:05:56

our Saturday podcast where we can joke and be immature about things that have happened within the culture yeah do you guys watch the national championship

  • 2:06:01

yesterday since we were on sports yeah what we're doing taking it to saving yeah

  • 2:06:07

at two hours and 11 minutes I think Saban talk is okay that wide receiver kid is nice Ross yeah Justin Ross is

  • 2:06:14

nice nice all right man you [ __ ] thank

  • 2:06:20

    you a [ __ ] fair I thought I saw I saw a Vince Young versus ready [ __ ] man liner so I mean I will instruct what you

  • 2:06:27

want me to do amazing yeah the best game of my life like I don't care when X 8 was doing like beating his ass yeah he's

  • 2:06:35

great he keeps winning Clemson Azir that guy's ass out of here same record same amount of national championships within

  • 2:06:40

the last four years like I understand I know we couldn't view anybody as a

  • 2:06:46

dynasty outside Alabama and saving but yeah Clemson's here yeah Clinton's here

  • 2:06:52

and they let us know they were here with the [ __ ] my tribute I like that I'm missing they

  • 2:06:59

said uh hey if you are they said uh if you were recruit out there you tired of

  • 2:07:07

the coach it's all in the locker room before the game after game after were

  • 2:07:13

number four tired of the coaches all it come over here whatever they said like

  • 2:07:19

though well that kid the wide receiver kids from Alabama the state of Alabama's

  • 2:07:25

got it got it got it lost out he's nice he's nice here he's nice and that Clemson true freshman

  • 2:07:31

quarterback is real nice yeah yeah Lawrence well they're but Ross is a true freshman as well right yeah oh yeah tell

  • 2:07:37

me about this [ __ ] to a kid and then he get out there and stink it up was to

  • 2:07:45

the degree that they spoke spoke of a mission and got outdone by by the true freshman yeah well I feel like it was

  • 2:07:51

another big happening in sports that we needed to this Oh up come here give me a Super Bowl pics I mean that Super Bowl

  • 2:07:56

but there's playoff pics ah you were high on slow down you were high on the Ravens I was high on Lamar Jackson you

  • 2:08:04

thought the rookie would go out there and the bright lights of playoff action and atmosphere and perform I did he had

  • 2:08:11

been doing it for weeks practice walking mom I was gonna be a

  • 2:08:17

play you running quarterbacks it's the playoffs dogs I mean it's true and the charges I think are legit but the

  • 2:08:23

charges have also fumbled the ball in the playoffs a million times so I was like on the fence with them but they

  • 2:08:28

look they look good this year Colts pulled out coach look I Colts look real good more dangerous than I thought going

  • 2:08:34

into the playoffs yeah well no they look real good towards the end of the season and training it was Houston but I still

  • 2:08:41

didn't think they was gonna get busy I thought Houston being at home and having more weapons Hoonah came out in that game but cuz that game was different

  • 2:08:47

than me in a row before you guys getting a vibe sports people out there I know

  • 2:08:52

you guys hate when we talk about sports because we don't know anything about sports boy thanks that's not gonna stop us from talking about she did we don't

  • 2:08:58

know anything about so are you guys I got chargers Chiefs and Saints

  • 2:09:08

and the Rams yeah all favorites I think I was gonna say it's a safe or well know that the charges are really a favorite

  • 2:09:15

against the Patriots that's gonna be a good game actually I like all the games this

  • 2:09:21

weekend me too and all the wild card games really hey when I can't talk to you the cowboy fans yeah I had them one

  • 2:09:28

in that game though I wasn't sure that was a pickup for me their defenses elite at home anywhere

  • 2:09:35

all right watch this week Chelsea tell me if is elite this week I bet it's not a high scoring game unless playoffs I'm

  • 2:09:42

thinking will be yeah I don't think will be I think that uh I saw some tweets saying hey girlie get ready for the hot

  • 2:09:48

boys they're cold I didn't know that I wouldn't be shocked if that was one

  • 2:09:53

thing and I'm not a Dallas fan so I mean if that's their name I don't want to be disrespectful but news flash out there

  • 2:10:00

in my humble opinion I think girl he's ready for the hot boys yeah well I think girls coming out to God boys should be

  • 2:10:06

noticeably prepared Dallas Dallas linebackers it's not getting nasty there's you'd be ready for girly girly

  • 2:10:12

and the hot boys they will be there linebackers nice that rookie kids idiot

  • 2:10:18

listen I'm just trying to stay PC on here you're toxic that's toxic and the

  • 2:10:24

second they come for us you're the first uh you're my first expenditure [Laughter]

  • 2:10:38

this is always [ __ ] up cuz mole don't even be paying attention to the podcast he'd be on his phone and he's just laugh at something get out here is there

  • 2:10:48

anything coming up this weekend or [ __ ] that we need to be aware of outside of

  • 2:10:53

the playoffs or whatever root or magazine like really important happening I tried to pay I tried to pay the

  • 2:10:58

government tax money and they told me that they were closed all right Noby I

  • 2:11:06

found so much irony in it I found I got such a laugh out of me actually trying

  • 2:11:12

to pay some [ __ ] that I didn't want to pay and then I'm saying no not right now

  • 2:11:18

talk about God teaching you just some resilience and patience and willpower all right now you got to put money to

  • 2:11:26

the side and just wait leave it that is so trashy it in one way another they're

  • 2:11:38

gonna get it yeah I know that's one of Wesley Snipes deal didn't care about

  • 2:11:43

bleed we do we think J Cole listen to

  • 2:11:51

    our podcast oh wow

  • 2:12:00

well J Cole put up a picture I'm intake Heath which is from my look like they

  • 2:12:06

were like they were listen it's in a podcast and then home when you thought

  • 2:12:13

about everything that I said about Jake Oh see that's the thing that consumers will never get that I tried to talk

  • 2:12:19

about it here it's just different when rappers are talking to and about rappers it's very different it's different from

  • 2:12:26

the rappers that you all like to hear on a song and then rappers haven't actually go in the studio and record with that

  • 2:12:31

rapper is different pressure could be get tense don't get the wrong rapper angry at you um some rappers you got to

  • 2:12:39

be on your [ __ ] a-plus game stepless to deal with and if I'm just looking at J Cole's picture with take Heath I was

  • 2:12:46

here she smoked might be coming your way are see

  • 2:12:51

no I'm it's our yes jokowi seconds ago

  • 2:13:12

wasn't coal was in the picture would take Keith and he didn't have a shape up

  • 2:13:17

they were staring at a monitor mmm and it was I felt like I just needed

  • 2:13:22

to peruse my brain to make sure that I didn't say anything that could affect him in a negative light yeah yeah I can

  • 2:13:30

see why you would do that and on top of that because cold is from

  • 2:13:39

the home school where they heard you yeah they're gonna tell you they heard you it's not gonna acknowledge you cuz

  • 2:13:47

you're a bum so they're gonna make sure you know oh oh no ya may know go mouth

  • 2:14:03

    buggin out

  • 2:14:14

I'm so so sensitive keeping it light I mean for the culture everybody on the

  • 2:14:38

know what's scarier to is he's also around a bunch of other rappers in there too who are also feeding his competitive

  • 2:14:45

nature of getting you the [ __ ] out of here he's sitting next to crit he's sitting next to reason he's sitting next

  • 2:14:51

to ji d he's sitting next to cause like there's people that rap words together next to him yeah during all of this

  • 2:14:58

you're a trouble job I want to tell you my psychology and while I'm afraid to Keith you Gibby

  • 2:15:03

again I get into the psychology record do you I used to be young enough of

  • 2:15:09

Memphis right you're not from like down here mm-hmm so this shouldn't hit y'all a certain way and when I first heard your song I

  • 2:15:17

hated his song and I hated the song because it was such a simple song it was just like a bass line and a beat and a

  • 2:15:22

doom-doom doom-doom and that's why I'm scared to Keith because why would you

  • 2:15:28

make this and just know that we will jam to it this simple ass [ __ ] you made it

  • 2:15:35

and said hit y'all will dance stand up I

  • 2:15:59

won't be alert alive oh I was happy to see that pictured I'm not gonna lie Kol

  • 2:16:05

that should be cool they think in themselves ten days then they call is not about to play with Rorion parks for

  • 2:16:12

the things that they say yeah the disrespect of the dreamville nation if

  • 2:16:18

that's what you want to call me defending him against you we can roll with that that is what I'm excited for

  • 2:16:27

me too I wanna do my own is geared I don't you cry Twitter is elder I'm not

  • 2:16:36

writing with Griselda I would say no

  • 2:16:48

more than how was your first start about

  • 2:16:54

now being wifed what 10 years in the

  • 2:17:00

game a wife nothing you can't rap no

  • 2:17:08

more Joe I'm convinced that some boys

  • 2:17:15

may know said that he's not really retired retired stupid a joke come take

  • 2:17:22

a pic by the board I my dogs yes let me tuck my scarf if I don't know why but I

  • 2:17:30

want to be trash didn't want to rap no but you don't want to be trash though

  • 2:17:36

why don't I don't think it's humanly possible listen let's be clear you don't want that I think that most of my ex

  • 2:17:43

Pierce what I'm capable of if I get angry agree outside of that in

  • 2:17:52

retirement part of the great thing about retirement is I'm trying not to get angry like I don't wanna rap I one thing

  • 2:17:59

about rats I'm one here none that's gonna inspire me to rap I want a new rap earning is that's real nice and wrap to wrap it me so to make me want to rap like chill out

  • 2:18:06

like just all I rap shit' was just therapy therapeutic [ __ ] I'm just trying to be

  • 2:18:12

happy wait - trying to cool out sixteenth when they take Keith drop drops you up on you

  • 2:18:21

or : you know I'm Way too old when he

  • 2:18:48

was saying so what but it's old [ __ ]

  • 2:18:53

that you could come out of retirement and dislike you got a chill you gotta go brush it up oh yeah you can't say he

  • 2:18:59

said like he said so what to me like five times I was helpless standing there

  • 2:19:04

like yo damn the rapper in me don't let other [ __ ] say this to me but let's

  • 2:19:10

have a good time hey do say let's just

  • 2:19:15

enjoy the moment I don't think anything else happened this week the spice of wars dot our Kelly dog the Joe [ __ ]

  • 2:19:24

and out the Joe whatever dressing is [ __ ] dirty past like hope I was able

  • 2:19:32

to use my plight as a teachable moment two young men out there man don't tweet

  • 2:19:40

[ __ ] when you're breaking up with people yeah that's good advice uh don't tweet

  • 2:19:47

[ __ ] or use your your socials to hurt other people yeah um make sure you're

  • 2:19:55

always representing yourself in the best light possible make sure your words and

  • 2:20:01

your actions and your behaviors are always aligned and in unison and just

  • 2:20:10

make sure you always represent yourself the best way you would like to I know for a long time a lot of us said I don't

  • 2:20:15

    give a [ __ ] I don't give a [ __ ] I was the chairman of that [ __ ] phrase but that's why that's why age is great and

  • 2:20:21

that's what maturation is great because as you get older you care about more and you are

  • 2:20:28

afraid of a lot more very different from going outside when you were a kid without house keys a phone and money

  • 2:20:34

today I'm scared of mad things I'm

  • 2:20:39

frightened I'm horrified up here I'm just trying to live as we all are man

  • 2:20:47

shout to everybody out there just trying to get by child to everybody out there starting positive movements to

  • 2:20:53

positively affect the community shout out the people that are continuing these conversations past documentaries and

  • 2:21:00

passages social media [ __ ] to shout to everybody that's invested it does feel

  • 2:21:08

good it's good that we're in a different time is good that we can have these conversations it's good that we can challenge one another it's all good

  • 2:21:16

everything happening right this second is good and hopefully our work today

  • 2:21:21

leads to a better tomorrow all our forefathers and ancestors could have ever asked for that's my piece on that if you are

  • 2:21:29

looking to cancel Joe Budden at the end of this podcast as a result of something you heard guess what you reserve that

  • 2:21:35

right you reserve the right to do so but

  • 2:21:40

hopefully I was able to add a little more information and if you heard me properly hopefully you wouldn't believe

  • 2:21:45

the same way I don't believe that some of that stuff was out there hopefully you wouldn't believe on that that that's

  • 2:21:52

how I'm woven out it's just not the case now what's happening and let's be responsible with our power our agenda

  • 2:22:02

our peers there was that well said did I get us in trouble I think we're okay if

  • 2:22:09

  • 2:22:17

this platform yes Amy the earring for that one

  • 2:22:25
