and here we are yeah hello what's up oh nothing what's up with you oh come on

  • 0:25

knock it off the [ __ ] what's up I'm cheerful today why I wonder I just had a lot of coffee

  • 0:31

so I'm just bouncing the W so you're high on caffeine yep and I'm feeling pretty good about it okay that's good to

  • 0:36

hear how was your weekend uh I didn't do a [ __ ] thing I know I saw the tweets M although I did go see Kanani show on

  • 0:42

Sunday I did one thing how was that very good sold out shell crowd was crazy knew every word Kanani is the girl that all

  • 0:49

these guys like right mhm singer from Oakland 19 or maybe 20 now CU girl what's her song um she do something on

  • 0:56

out here now get away [ __ ] with you um the song Chance the Rapper I don't remember the name BJ's The Chicago Kid a

  • 1:03

lot of my male friends like that girl she's a very good and she's a great songwriter too yeah writes all her own

  • 1:09

stuff yeah I think I saw her uh you've you've interacted with her on Twitter yeah yeah yeah I saw a picture of her I

  • 1:15

was very disappointed that she was 19 yeah well she's 20 now if that helps no no it does no no no it no major

  • 1:21

difference no no major difference at all Roy what's going on with you bro you know going through emails cuz I didn't

  • 1:27

have time to do that so I'm trying to make sure segment isn't rushed but other than that good you know cold out of work

  • 1:34

yesterday I was sick laid in bed feeling not feeling up to par yet but I'm getting there e are you contagious no I

  • 1:41

don't think I'm contagious look at all you care about yeah [ __ ] my wellbeing self-centered [ __ ] yep are you

  • 1:47

contagious well are you feeling better uh I'm almost there not 100% okay well I

  • 1:52

hope you feel better bro thanks man all right so what the [ __ ] is going on uh Marissa has a crush on classic man yes

  • 1:58

he is fun I had no idea I don't even know if I want to have any idea on the people that Marissa has

  • 2:03

crushes on by the way because Marissa is really really weird I'm not weird I just

  • 2:10

have her success rate isn't high right now so I'm not sure if yeah by the way

  • 2:16

my fly out I think it uh I I think I misinterpreted the text oh so you didn't get flown out no yeah I meant to ask you

  • 2:22

that I toally forgot can we wait can we review can we review the text because maybe I just took it wrong well well

  • 2:29

let's slow down for for a second one thing at a time okay I was singing classic man because that song is one of

  • 2:36

those songs that you just hear for two seconds and it's stuck in your head for the rest of the year um and my first

  • 2:44

time uh actually knowing who sung that song was watching I think the dream wrote it really no I'm just being a dick

  • 2:51

Shut the [ __ ] up I going to say I think he wrote his own song um okay it doesn't sound like a song Dream would write no

  • 2:57

not at all at all oh that's why you're little joke oh the oh I get it from last Merc you really slow but uh all right so

  • 3:04

that's the first time I saw that guy and uh when he performed with jelle Monet and they did that little weird uh exit

  • 3:11

that point that point thing they did that was really weird uh but so Marissa

  • 3:16

has a crush on classic man which is confusing to me because you look at my track record

  • 3:23

totally outside Marissa likes men with leather pants I don't I've never dealt with a guy with leather pants yes who uh

  • 3:32

the guy that we can't say delayed threesome guy delayed the one who was

  • 3:38

the one that you thought was going to fly you out wears leather pants him and delayed well that is delayed no all

  • 3:44

right see we got some confusion all right uh I don't delayed is delayed

  • 3:49

delayed is the same fly out person who's also the same Del is oh that wasn't who

  • 3:54

I meant I know and then you have him oh okay so and they both wear Le pants lust lust wears leather pants they both wear

  • 4:00

leather pants so you like men who wear leather pants that's just two out of the of the rest that's just two out of the

  • 4:07

wouldn't dare wear leather pants yeah that's debatable yeah yeah we don't know that let him get some money yeah true he

  • 4:13

look like the type if he got some money he would wear some leather pants and and let's be clear you have you have to uh

  • 4:20

obtain a certain amount of money to even think about wearing leather pants yeah it's a certain tax bracket which

  • 4:26

actually makes you look like a lower tax bracket it's weird how that it's weird um I I would never wear

  • 4:33

leather pants I got I don't wear leather pants you wear maybe for Halloween you should dress like a a regular rapper for

  • 4:39

Halloween no I would never oh my God wouldn't that be amazing in like the ridiculous sunglasses and like 40 chains

  • 4:45

oh my gez I would that I've got way too much Integrity for maybe for your 30ft birthday nah nah not going to do it

  • 4:52

leather leather pants I have a thing against uh white jeans I have a thing against I feel like only Puerto Ricans

  • 4:59

and drug dealers should wear white pants yeah white parties I have a thing against not a big white party person I

  • 5:06

have a theory about white parties they were really cool in like 97 uh today you're just a [ __ ] bird

  • 5:12

if you go to allh party and you're a extra bird if you wear all white to the

  • 5:17

allh party right um but anyway so Marissa has a crush on uh the classic man Jenna which is what's his name Jenna

  • 5:24

jadena yep that's really weird considering Marissa likes

  • 5:30

he looks like he looks like time travel exists I want like he's not from this hold on wait should should I answer the

  • 5:35

FaceTime for BA who was ba I have no idea who this person is

  • 5:42

Cleveland do you know you have but this is just the guy that you said was not b a week and a half ago does he wear

  • 5:47

leather pants no he doesn't oh I'm done with I don't care about that so Marissa likes this [ __ ] classic man yo my

  • 5:53

[ __ ] Are you seriously doing this right now have what wait why did you call me a horag I got to go I

  • 6:00

what an endearing FaceTime podcast so all right bye bye thank

  • 6:06

you your life is a mess but it's intriguing it is I mean I I enjoy it

  • 6:11

Marissa likes classic man let me actually finish my thought but she doesn't like the fact that he wears suits no that's like not my style but

  • 6:18

underneath that I'm sure it's great which is weird to me because if someone were to like classic man I would take it

  • 6:24

it's partly because he's classic man I mean I like what he stands for and I think he's very well spoken and um

  • 6:30

you've heard him you've heard him speak yeah I watched a couple interviews when I decided I had a crush last night I want to see if he's like [ __ ] or not

  • 6:35

y you're really 12 years old in the head still I need to uh to in investigate and

  • 6:42

see whether or not he's worth having a crush on or maybe I'm ignorant is this something that women do yeah we look up

  • 6:48

our Crush if we you get a you get a crush and then you just watch a bunch of interviews I mean uh I don't know if

  • 6:53

that's what every girl does yeah you have to like like a celebrity to do that I can't watch an interview of like John

  • 6:59

from down the street have you ever liked John from down the street no but if I did it's cuz I can't watch his

  • 7:05

interviews on YouTube that's why okay I'm I'm a little off what saying so you like YouTube you don't really like

  • 7:10

exactly it's really just about the YouTube what a [ __ ] weirdo and now this man is FaceTiming you during our

  • 7:16

podcast yeah this just Cleveland he's always around I mean it's not like a look how fast we go from Bay to just

  • 7:23

always room no but I mean like that's just like he'll always be a thing you know we need to introduce a segment a

  • 7:28

weekly segment where we just get updated on your mess of a love life I think we kind of do that already yeah we just

  • 7:34

covered it though yeah yeah but we do it but we do it randomly can we can we investigate this fly out situation

  • 7:40

though I really don't know how I went wrong here okay so last week uh for those of you who do not know Marissa was

  • 7:46

very excited was that last week or the week before it was last week yep Marissa was very excited because she got her

  • 7:52

first fly out offer congratulations it's a big moment for us it's a really really

  • 7:57

big moment all my years of she's really moving up in the universe here and she was very she was she she was on the

  • 8:05

freshman team she's at JV now I wouldn't put her at Varsity H I'm still going to put her on freshman Twitter honey team

  • 8:12

wait which one is uh big better JV or freshman J they're both bad they're both

  • 8:17

but but JV is a bit better than freshman and you're on freshman and that's I

  • 8:23

gotten the fly out though I probably would have been JV so so what was the text that made you think that you had gotten your very first fly out offer

  • 8:30

okay it needs a little context um I told him I'd be in his town the week before

  • 8:35

he was all excited he hit me even in between and like are you here yet I'm like not yet then when I landed he wasn't there because he had to go do

  • 8:41

something in another city so he said he'd be back Sunday he didn't make it back Sunday he came back Monday text me in the morning like I'll be there later

  • 8:47

today will you be gone already I said my flight leaves a three sad face he said damn babe will I ever see you I said we

  • 8:53

have to make it happen soon he said yes we need to say when and it's done and

  • 8:58

let me just intervene here uh when a [ __ ] says damn babe will I ever see you

  • 9:05

he he wants to [ __ ] and that probably all he want to do he might be in the middle of jerking off his dick might be

  • 9:10

in his hand he's feeling really Lusty and he's out of character is that what you think is so what 100% he said yes we

  • 9:15

need to say when and it's done oh yeah that was a that was an off say when it's done is when you're kind of tiptoeing

  • 9:20

cuz he would have said when but when you kind of just put it in the atmosphere like yeah no just say whatever and we'll get it done yeah but he's never like

  • 9:27

we've never had that type of relationship where like he felt like he needs to just [ __ ] blow smoke so I well you're probably not the first

  • 9:33

person he calls when when he's feeling Lusty okay that's fine this sounds like a few of his uh top Lusty candidates

  • 9:39

have cancelled and it's [ __ ] bottom of the nin here with Marissa no but I'm

  • 9:44

pretty sure he could literally he I'm sure there's like a thousand others to call to I know y'all always sure about things that you're unsure about but

  • 9:50

anyway so then I just said um I'd either need a flight later back tonight or I can come back on Wednesday let me know

  • 9:56

he said either or I just landed and then I said I just landed back in New Jersey I'll come back Wednesday let me know I'll send come on get to the [ __ ]

  • 10:02

punch that was it the let the say when and it's done was what I thought was the let me know when cuz we don't live

  • 10:07

anywhere near each other and then um I said like I said I could come back Wednesday he said either or I just landed I said I landed in new so you

  • 10:14

interpreted say when and it's done right but what what else does that mean I clear my schedule and then what am I

  • 10:20

supposed to like get myself to there as he was flying you out so when did you

  • 10:26

say when I oh at the end so I said um um he because he said either or when I said

  • 10:31

Wednesday or tonight but I was like well tonight's already done I'm back home now so I can come Wednesday let me know I'll send you info yo is see you you you

  • 10:38

don't know that you don't even hear that you shouldn't be this thirsty you just left a place landed home I mean whatever

  • 10:46

and you sound very prepared to go right back there on a flight that same night

  • 10:52

if the night was not done I'm sure that's what you would have done yeah probably nothing is wrong with that in

  • 10:57

your head I mean that's neither here nor there no it's here and there the whole point was I'm just I did how did I misinterpret that or did I misinterpret

  • 11:04

okay but can you answer my question um nothing is wrong with that and your head it all like that's normal Behavior Uh

  • 11:10

for him no for you I'm asking no I'm saying with him me yes and only him

  • 11:16

mhm okay so go ahead that was really it and then he said okay so how is this not a fly out let's hear it because I

  • 11:22

haven't heard from him since he didn't say okay send info he didn't say any of oh wait so you said uh tonight is done

  • 11:29

how about Wednesday Wednesday is good he said and then um I said let me know and I'll sent info he said okay sweet that

  • 11:35

was it and I haven't talked [Laughter]

  • 11:41

to this is I don't know why are we okay I don't like how laugh how hard you're laughing this is not a joking this is

  • 11:49

wonderful see reasons like this is why I can't fire you because who else would I be able to laugh at oh man this is this

  • 11:57

is great I mean whatever all right so it all right I get

  • 12:03

it now so my theory is correct so what he was jerking off he was feeling Lusty now he was jerking off but you were you

  • 12:09

were there so it was convenient because you were there and the second that you were not there anymore conversation

  • 12:15

ceased yeah but he knew I was leaving and he said say when and it's done I H up on that that's just talk and I was I

  • 12:22

was tweeted this earlier about men just flirt sometimes just to pass the time it doesn't mean we necessarily serious

  • 12:28

there like I guess I know there like a mil I but considering you know I me I

  • 12:34

know I guess but it's fine it's fine oh poor baby I really wasn't that upset about it cuz I was still excited that we

  • 12:40

even got there even though it didn't come to fruition I'll fly you [ __ ] Philly thank you I'll fly you somewhere

  • 12:47

oh but you you're banned from Philly um man I could do what I want what happened in Philly well because I just cut off

  • 12:54

Michael Kors Philly she can't go to [ __ ] Philly anymore sh I'm not sure if I can go to Phil

  • 13:01

yeah I'll bring you I'll bring you guys back some cheese yeah right so anyway all right so what's going on in the

  • 13:06

universe uh right now I feel like a lot happened last week that we didn't talk about at all um Bill Cosby a rapist but

  • 13:13

we didn't talk about that we didn't need to talk about that um he's uh future Hive yeah um I don't I don't offend

  • 13:21

anyone why that's what we do this that is true um sometimes I

  • 13:28

can't figure out if people on Twitter are trolling just to troll or they generally feel future is this amazing

  • 13:35

it's weird because it's like I mean people have [ __ ] with him time out before you guys continue uh how do you guys feel about

  • 13:43

future I like him I like him that's as far as it goes I like him

  • 13:48

    in a party setting I don't even particularly like commas and I love ignorant [ __ ] like I'm not the guy that's saying oh let's real hip hop [ __ ]

  • 13:55

that I like ignorant records a lot commas just don't really do it for me um I think Future's been extremely

  • 14:00

consistent for a long time so I I think he's talented I just don't see what

  • 14:05

everyone else sees well his talent is undeniable definitely future future has been extremely consistent for a while

  • 14:12

now since 2010 2011 probably uh he seems to be very great at what he does for

  • 14:19

sure mhm and I really liked um love and affection with Rihanna oh that record is

  • 14:25

amazing yeah that was [ __ ] that was phenomenal seriously it's a shame that that is my favorite future uh record but

  • 14:32

whatever it took me a really long time to to know that um he was saying let's

  • 14:37

[ __ ] up some commas I had no idea that that was what was being said I still don't in particularly know what that

  • 14:42

means it means let's [ __ ] spend money okay and I have a real problem when I see a bunch of broke people [ __ ] maybe

  • 14:48

maybe it's too deep for me maybe that's why I didn't get the put out his interview today you don't have commas

  • 14:54

that is true well he was saying that he hes that song he hopes that song inspires people even without money to want to [ __ ] up some commas even if it's

  • 15:00

some hundreds that's what he said today I'm not rolling wait say that again he hopes that he that song inspires people

  • 15:06

to want to spend money and just feel like he he wants that song to give you the feeling that you could [ __ ] up commas even if you only have hundreds to

  • 15:13

[ __ ] up okay I all right I I guess I feel I feel that he hopes it inspires people to do that I do feel that now I

  • 15:20

don't that's awful I was about to suggest you why would you suggest people to do that throw their [ __ ] rent

  • 15:27

money in there a now listen to this people uh you might not want to follow

  • 15:32

that advice if you don't have any commas you might want to stick to

  • 15:37

budgeting if you have $100 keep that $100 in your pocket don't you dare blow

  • 15:42

it don't you give your [ __ ] last 100 to Bernice hey I've been there have you

  • 15:50

where I'd want to give Bernice money but fought not to do it you know Bernice is funny we'll talk about that in a second

  • 15:57

but anyway okay so we all like we all like future uh I'm not part of the future Hive I'm not either and I do

  • 16:03

think that future Hive should probably get a new name for future Hive well it started out as a joke and I think it

  • 16:09

just started picking more and more steam up and it's kind of funnier now that I think that it is actually future hiive

  • 16:16

now yeah like it's kind of cool and random that it just became a thing now I like it but I mean if I were in future

  • 16:22

Hive I would want to I would want to get a new I want to know where they developed the hive from though like the Beehive I mean I get it I know but I

  • 16:28

mean like they should have come up with something a little bit more creative I don't they were joking to suggest that we love future this much that we

  • 16:34

consider him Beyonce so they made future Hive and it was a joke now it's legit a thing future hendris future vros yeah

  • 16:42

yeah future pett no I think he took that from Twitter I think he saw that on

  • 16:47

Twitter like you know what I think I'm GNA roll with fos is like the greatest I like future uh pentag I I get

  • 16:55

his like I don't feel it the same way but the same way I feel about about fetty and I'm like he could do no wrong like I'm assuming it's the same exact

  • 17:02

kind of feeling for a future so well people are uh to Rory's Point uh I do

  • 17:07

think people there are a large group of people that are trolling yeah because it's funny but I think so many people

  • 17:14

have trolled that it's starting to become believable yeah especially because now it seems to people that aren't trolling they're seeing it and

  • 17:19

thinking like oh this must be like the cool thing to do so now I'm just I'm part of second guess do I have to go

  • 17:24

back maybe I missed the whole era of future I don't know about well she had a shitty period like last year when he put

  • 17:29

out the album I mean like he had a good single or something from it but it didn't really like gain that much traction and even he said like you know

  • 17:34

he was disappointed in the sales but the mixtapes he's been putting out like the 56 nights and um beast mode were like

  • 17:40

you know now is this dirty Sprite too this is an album this is Anum mix tape

  • 17:45

it's a followup to a mixtape like that's what that's why I was kind of I thought it was a mixtape too but now I see this

  • 17:51

whole I'm not going to tell obviously he has a good grasp on his career that would have been the title that I would chose for an album when I'm in probably

  • 17:58

the biggest state of my career yeah why just I I feel like a a series of a

  • 18:03

mixtape you turn into an album and then put two in it I mean but person if I see dirty if it was just dirty sprite I

  • 18:10

think that'd be cool okay but two it's like a continuation of like like that was a big mixtape for him in his career

  • 18:16

and it kind of really introduced but on the flip side of that if you're a new future fan you're going to go back to that mixtape you're going to want to

  • 18:22

hear dirty sprite one now uh him and uh

  • 18:28

oh um what's the guy's name OG moo yeah yeah what was the between them so OG moo

  • 18:34

felt that Futures music um was destroying lives because he glorifies drug usage and is encouraging kids to

  • 18:42

you know take 56 Bars which is like 56 Dan I guess and things like that but he was also saying like at the same time

  • 18:47

I'm not a hater like I like future I have over 80 songs in my my iTunes playlist of his but it's just not the

  • 18:53

right message if you have such a platform that you should be preaching and he also said yes I understand that I made a brainless mindless [ __ ] song

  • 19:00

with you guessed it but I did that on purpose it was calculated to Garner the fan base cuz it's easy that way and then

  • 19:05

now I want to preach my real message in my music okay so that was how I was going to say I only know one OG M song

  • 19:12

and you guessed it and it's definitely not a great message in that record ex so he said that that was very very

  • 19:17

calculated and he did that well now he has to make some [ __ ] positive music you can't say that quote and not come back he's been tweeting out links with

  • 19:24

like you know [ __ ] that he's really preaching I didn't listen to any of that [ __ ] to be honest but that what he's sending out now so he and he said that

  • 19:30

too like say some crazy [ __ ] on Twitter to get an attention tweet the links that you want to do you know clarify it in an

  • 19:35

interview like so he's uh doing all well they pieced it up yeah apparently they had a conversation and everything is

  • 19:41

great uh but if you're going to take that route with future who's to say his aren't

  • 19:47

calculated he seems pretty calculated at this point well he said that too he said that's what people want to [ __ ] hear from him he knows that I mean you could

  • 19:54

take that route with most artists today I was about to say I don't know why he zoned in on him I mean I'm just here for uh trolling

  • 20:01

Sierra oh that's poor girl that has been dude listen how EP like as he said that

  • 20:07

[ __ ] he was sipping the tea when he was [ __ ] talking this [ __ ] oh my gosh that was amazing it was great for those

  • 20:13

that don't know the future documentary they asked him well I don't know if they asked him where he volunteered but what did y'all think actually what he said

  • 20:20

well there's two different things he did yesterday the huff post interview where he talked about the celibacy [ __ ] that's the only one I saw that's the only one I

  • 20:25

saw oh y you only saw that no I heard I mean I saw people talking about it on Twitter I didn't see the actual I just

  • 20:30

saw the celibacy it was [ __ ] hilarious he was talking about him and Sierra and he was talking about how he

  • 20:36

was urging her to you know go back to [ __ ] uh body party and body party and

  • 20:42

and and her Lane and and you know that's that's what people wanted to hear from her he was basically saying don't chase

  • 20:48

the pop audience do what you do and let come to it uh and he said she wanted to

  • 20:54

go a different route so like he was the like he was like so I was like whatever and like just as he was saying that he was sipping the tea so you could tell he

  • 21:00

was basically like yeah that's when her [ __ ] flopped like a [ __ ] and he said he didn't understand it cuz him and uh Mike Will were coming off of number

  • 21:06

one yeah and and uh damn what did he say he said him and M were coming off of number one and they were in a

  • 21:12

relationship and she still wasn't right and he was saying that's kind of It kind of made it a little weird too but he was

  • 21:17

like you know whatever cuz she went with Dr Luke and went to do the album that ended up flopping um and then he also

  • 21:22

said in that documentary um that he basically ended the engagement because she was trying to rush everything and he

  • 21:28

wasn't trying to be a part of like the big circus of all the E news and all that stuff all the coverage of the wedding and he really just wanted to

  • 21:34

make music and that was really all he gave a [ __ ] about and then in the huff post thing which came out about a couple hours later he said that um she

  • 21:40

definitely didn't make him wait and they prayed after sex he just seems like a great guy yeah he he hasn't said too

  • 21:48

many things that I disagree with so full of Charisma but like but he's

  • 21:53

still he did her dirty now that's now I was just about to say uh that's without me delving into

  • 22:01

personal attacks as far as you know all the [ __ ] that they talk about with him his kids uh how he did Sierra like I

  • 22:10

don't care about any that's none of my business I don't how many kids does he actually have um like four or something like that some crazy number you know I

  • 22:16

like Twitter gas is everything what I didn't realize I thought he had like 10 to 15 ever since the split from sier

  • 22:22

well they're all different mothers though ever since the split from Sierra she um I'm just adding to make it clear

  • 22:27

why [ __ ] always want to judge somebody about how many [ __ ] baby mamas they got well he was saying like four wasn't a big number it's a pretty

  • 22:34

hefty number any well what's his name uh damn what's my man's name uh with the

  • 22:39

painted hair shorty low shorty low has way more than nine or 10 so does DM

  • 22:45

there's a bunch of people with Mad Kids my guy has a few oh word oh Dwight Howard that's what I was thinking of he

  • 22:50

has eight right yeah um got a lot uh Little Wayne has a significant amount

  • 22:56

four yeah I mean okay okay I'm not judg I'm not singing away I'm justy what do you know way favorite raer anyway um

  • 23:06

yeah is that what we're doing uh what was I going to say oh but I like these I like these interviews though because uh

  • 23:11

I don't know I feel like we're getting a more personable side of him we haven't really he hasn't done any interviews at all since he broke up with Sierra so we

  • 23:17

never actually got his side which I didn't even realize or think of until he started doing this promo run for DS2 so

  • 23:22

um it's kind of cool it's like taking cuz I feel like uh social media kind of made him a little bit of a villain

  • 23:28

especially because he's been very quiet since the split I mean things here and there but nothing really like speaking to people so um It's actually kind of

  • 23:35

making me like him a little more as a person Future's album comes out when Friday this Friday July 17th this Friday

  • 23:41

okay so let's do it yeah I'm actually looking forward to this one ah come on let's guess it oh oh yeah yeah they

  • 23:47

wanted us to do that I think he's going to do pretty good okay I don't see Meek numbers but

  • 23:56

let me open it up so we get write this down all right [ __ ] you guessed it I'll

  • 24:02

go first you was right uh are we doing uh the frame to uh

  • 24:09

between 20,000 yeah uh 50 to 70 I don't want Rory to win again me

  • 24:16

neither why do you say 50 to 70 um he has a a good buzz in the urban crowd I

  • 24:22

just don't know how many people are going to sit and buy a future of them the world the world is the world is much bigger than my timeline so even though

  • 24:29

my timeline it's crazy though but sometimes sometimes it makes you so like it makes me forget like it makes you

  • 24:35

feel like everyone in the world's talking about it and it's really of people for jcole cuz for a while

  • 24:41

everyone on Twitter hated J.Cole and he went platinum so that's so crazy like I really get like [ __ ] up sometimes I

  • 24:47

forget that there's more to like there's more thoughts out there than just this common consensus that I see on Twitter

  • 24:53

    yeah I might be a little generous with 50 to 70 but I'm going 50 to 70

  • 24:58

all right my to body let's hear it damn man I'm going 80 to 100 why um

  • 25:07

because I don't think he's going to do crazy crazy numbers simply for the fact that he really hasn't crossed over onto

  • 25:13

um the the regular charts it's really he just been having hits in the um hipop

  • 25:19

Urban charts and um but he does have a very good buzz and I greatly

  • 25:25

underestimated Meek's Buzz last time so I do want to give some better numbers so I think that's a safe area

  • 25:34

um all right let's see here uh you have future Hive you do you have the future

  • 25:41

Hive uh he's coming off a uh a run where this this is anticipated uh he's coming

  • 25:47

off a drake tour oh valid it was a quick one but it was a drake tour it's a drake

  • 25:53

tour MH nonetheless and it's sold out stadiums right M and I won't

  • 26:00

underestimate the power of a drake tour it's Drake man everything he touch you

  • 26:06

underestimated the Barbies so I don't know if I could take your word for it barbs I did I did they came

  • 26:13

through they certainly did I'd like to see his second week I think uh second week came out today right I definitely

  • 26:20

saw a tweet that said he's still number one yeah he is number one he did he did another 60 yeah no it

  • 26:27

was no that number was uh wrong they readjusted it it was 42 so the thing wasad yeah but and that was within four

  • 26:33

days actually um because of the changing of new music being released from Tuesday to Fridays now they did uh one time only

  • 26:41

11 day span so basically it was last week's chart plus the new four days so

  • 26:46

his real number that they gave was like two something so it was last week plus the four days I just want to know what this week was it was 42 for the four

  • 26:53

days he's at number one again and the full number that they give is a two

  • 26:58

something above 250 and that's last week plus so he did is that plus streaming yeah that's Sales

  • 27:04

Plus streaming so he went from 246 to let to that plus 42 so 280 to 40 240

  • 27:12

yeah what I don't really like the stream numbers being added yeah confus it's confusing it is it is

  • 27:19

confusing um if I open it on a stream and play a song is that a sale um no

  • 27:26

it's every I want to say 10 th000 streams is one sale okay that makes me feel a little bit better yeah but either

  • 27:31

way yes he is at number one again with an additional 42,000 units sold in the four days from the charts closing [ __ ]

  • 27:38

all over so this number to me is a bit more authentic cuz you wouldn't expect the barbs to go out in week two mhm no

  • 27:46

they're we they're definitely a week one crowd it's like it's really like week one and a half but yes 240 to 40 is a

  • 27:52

big drop well that was seven days versus 4 days though it was was only half a week

  • 27:58

that that that 40 came from 4 days H okay so that's actually pretty

  • 28:05

decent that makes sense mhm well if you add another 30 240 to 70 is a big drop it is 240 to

  • 28:13

anything not in hundreds is a big drop yeah but that's um that's that's not hate for for the idiots listening no no

  • 28:20

just it is a large drop but that is pretty normal especially with the rap albums like Taylor Swift didn't have

  • 28:25

such a big drop but most of the album since name Taylor Swift who sold a million no that's what I'm saying like

  • 28:31

someone like that had like a did not have a crazy drop but most of the hip-hop albums that have come out they've had a fairly huge uh de well

  • 28:39

Future's last album I think the first week did 52 yeah it wasn't that great

  • 28:45

well who's to say that that's not that great that's not that bad at all yeah yeah I'm just say especially for someone that's a single artist he's not

  • 28:52

typically an album artist so I think he can close to double that I I yeah I

  • 28:57

think he can close to double that I want to dance around M's numbers somewhere um but I'll give him a little

  • 29:03

more I'll put more faith in the future Hive going out and and supporting I'll do what' you do 8 don't

  • 29:11

start believing in artists now man yeah I did 8 to 100 you did 80 to 100 m no I

  • 29:17

just think that he can almost double his last outing MH I like you said earlier I

  • 29:22

think he's in his Peak yeah but I also think the people that the future Hive is definitely

  • 29:29

social media based obviously I don't think Twitter's the people that buy the records yeah they're just your Buzz is

  • 29:36

on social media I don't I can't say that that's who's going to buy your album The Link's going to be up right away the

  • 29:42

people that consume on Twitter get the link from their timeline they're going to Tweet about it all day all right so

  • 29:48

if you did 50 to 70 and she did 80 to 100 I'm doing um take my point in change

  • 29:55

number I'm doing I'm doing 70 to 90 well since we're all over you to you

  • 30:02

wanted to do over 110 but I'll still give you that my final number is from 70 to 90

  • 30:09

the point I just made cuz I think he's going to dance in that 90 90 vicinity

  • 30:16

that's what I think no I said all the time I think he'll almost double the last one well since we're all so close

  • 30:22

to each other I guess we can't really uh wager anything here because we're going to overlap each other with whatever the numbers if no whoever

  • 30:29

whoever's closest [ __ ] you talking about okay but what if it's like uh what if it's 90 and I I have

  • 30:36

that in my range and so do you if it's if it's 90 what let's say 90 flat then I

  • 30:43

win why what's your number 70 to 90 well

  • 30:48

mine is 80 to 100 so who's to say that you won because I actually guessed the number well I'm adding that in

  • 30:55

between what if it's 80 so then I win cuz I say that number no then I win no

  • 31:00

why that just totally took away my point yeah her numberers what 80 to 100 100 oh

  • 31:07

then you would win okay if the number's 80 okay the winner is whoever is in the

  • 31:13

closest proximity of the actual number so though all of our numbers are similar somebody has to be within uh within

  • 31:21

proximity all right so so what are we getting I don't [ __ ] know we can talk about it later on the [ __ ] group chat so what else is going on in uh in the

  • 31:28

universe I feel like there's always so much that I want to that I want to disc live fight uh the throwing of the drinks

  • 31:34

onto Wayne as he performed was definitely every week you want to talk about little Wayne that's my favorite

  • 31:39

rapper thought TI all time was your favorite rapper he's not a rapper he is a singer folks I don't know why people

  • 31:45

call him a rapper singer he sings cuz he raps he doesn't he's never wrapped anything he sings two of my [ __ ] in

  • 31:52

the club I can harmonize like that yeah and they know a about each other that's why

  • 31:58

I selling [ __ ] just now well how does how do the verses go is he rapping verses yeah he is all right so no I'm

  • 32:04

I'm sorry singing the verses listen I don't care but every week you want to dominate the conversation with whoever you are partial to yeah well um that was

  • 32:11

a major thing yesterday no it wasn't nobody even barely people barely spoke about that sh everybody was talking about it was on TMZ top story all that

  • 32:19

do that that means it's a huge story TMZ [ __ ] by the way the video you couldn't even see if bman did that yeah

  • 32:25

if you could in the second video no mhm there was like three all right so go ahead go ahead and hit on it so Wayne

  • 32:30

was performing at Liv Birdman was also there and when Wayne was performing a sorry for the wait to track that said

  • 32:37

something about either [ __ ] cash money or I was Cash Money something like that referring to it in the past the crew that Birdman was with got pissed and

  • 32:43

they threw GT vodka onto Wayne a cup and it stopped the song short well you're just applying the emotion that went with

  • 32:49

it they got pissed well did you say the name of the Vodka too yeah well that's what it this a plug created so I'm

  • 32:57

plugging but why would I plug Birdman I don't know no I'm saying they created this to plug the Vodka oh perhaps um and

  • 33:04

then um but what was very interesting to me was that Wayne was very like calm about it but I guess that speaks to I

  • 33:13

wouldn't say it was fear but I think it came more out of like respect like if my mom threw a drink at me I'd want to kill

  • 33:18

her but I wouldn't cuz it's my mom so I don't know I just think it's weird that he didn't like react crazier what should

  • 33:25

he should he have a know did he know what happened he looked directly up at bman and was like oh okay got you and

  • 33:32

then walked up so should he have sprouted his wings and flew up and gravitated to the air and and levitated

  • 33:39

and fought Birdman in the sky like what are you talking what you like probably

  • 33:44

had a skateboard with him he could have figured it out I'm saying not say something on the mic skated all the way

  • 33:49

over to Birdman guys you guys are flipped on his face okay he's should have pulled his

  • 33:55

gun out all right it was you shot in the sky party's over all right I want to

  • 34:03

move on from this combo [ __ ] van bow and arrow yeah what the [ __ ] did she expect to happen I thought he would at

  • 34:09

least say something on the mic possibly but then again like I said I get it because i' of respect he probably wouldn't want to and make it a whole

  • 34:15

bigger thing so you done with this well I wanted to know your guys thoughts on it but obviously now I know we don't have any thoughts on this okay [ __ ] you

  • 34:20

guys then yes I'm done with it [ __ ] uh it Wayne yeah I don't I don't that's too like um that's too much but I do

  • 34:28

have a question I do have a question for you guys what breakup is worse uh this cash money breakup or the Rockefeller

  • 34:33

breakup um personally Rockefeller it hurt more this one bothers me more oh

  • 34:41

shocker how did we know that one that Rockefeller breakup was uh oh

  • 34:47

go ahead that hurt Rockefeller I think was like at a peak of their run this

  • 34:53

cash money one has kind of been on the lower part of their Peak

  • 34:58

okay so it it wasn't it didn't hit as hard I mean that's true but at the same time it's just a relationship that's

  • 35:04

been I mean I'm just like Jay and Dame though but it's just a relationship that's been around for so long that it's just like well I would say Wayne and bman were much closer than Jay and Dame

  • 35:11

yeah that's what I would that's why I think to me it's so shocking and it's just really sad to see such a foundation crumble and less than the less than the

  • 35:18

label [ __ ] like literally a personal relationship really just dissolv like that it's never cool to see well I think

  • 35:24

at some point when you're in a business with a friend and it gets to that point you have to decide should I end this

  • 35:30

business and keep my friendship or continue it and ruin both mhm so I I think they probably couldn't anticipate

  • 35:37

it but they they could have ended this business venture and remain friends but if you continue on you're probably going to wreck both yeah it's sad I want to

  • 35:44

keep my fingers crossed I'm not necessarily certain that this is the end of Wayne and baby yeah I don't think so

  • 35:52

either it looks that way but uh yeah I'm not going to be certain that this at the end I I think we might see

  • 35:58

reconciliation I I I would like to think so of course you would you know what whenever we talk uh

  • 36:06

    Cash Money [ __ ] or [ __ ] uh Young Money [ __ ] just [ __ ] I I'll give your opinion God damn it yeah the J and Dame

  • 36:13

[ __ ] that that was almost like unbelievable when it happened um I and

  • 36:20

and it seemed like the public couldn't foresee it uh for so long yeah once it

  • 36:26

happened and it got diagnosed we realized it but when it happened it didn't it was like what the [ __ ] I think

  • 36:32

after now when we look back at everything that was going on with the death of the Dynasty uh DVDs and all

  • 36:39

that you saw that Dame's behavior and Jay's Behavior were going into different directions MH so they're doing this

  • 36:45

whole one got to go thing on Twitter which is really annoying to me right yeah it is I hate it I I really really

  • 36:51

really really really I'm starting to hate Twitter um I I wish I could delete the [ __ ] but sometimes I enjoy it

  • 36:58

you're you're not going anywhere yeah I know I know I know I'm not I know I'm not and I don't want to be the guy that

  • 37:04

says yo I'm about to delete my Twitter and then tomorrow you're tweeting well that that just like a cry for attention

  • 37:10

and I really don't want any yo I'm so sick of this Fu guys yo I'm deleting my

  • 37:16

[ __ ] and everybody who says they're deleting their [ __ ] they come right back always comes back yeah so I don't want

  • 37:21

to be that guy so I just take my [ __ ] tweet vacations I think I'm going to take one but anyway so they're doing this all whole one got to go thing right

  • 37:28

so even though I hate the whole one got to go thing uh if you're

  • 37:34

doing rap cruise I I saw this one I saw it too clearly and I thought

  • 37:41

it was interesting I did too and I had to sit I had to sit and think yeah it's difficult see that it's difficult but

  • 37:47

it's not that difficult man so all right so let's do it so if you do bad

  • 37:53

boy bad boy Rough Riders mm um Rockefeller Rockefeller Rockefeller

  • 38:00

y'all cash money I'm getting rid of of Rough

  • 38:07

Riders because I'm putting locks in bad boy I know they were part of Rough Riders but they were bad boy first yeah

  • 38:13

do that why can you not do that they were with both Crews they had a longer tenure with Rough

  • 38:20

Riders so if they have to go somewhere well you have to put the Money Power Respect album with bad boy yeah okay

  • 38:27

then you put we of the streets with Rough Riders which I like better than Money Power Respect everybody likes we of the streets better than uh Money

  • 38:33

Power Respect it was uh Rockefeller Ru Riders cash money and who bad boy bad

  • 38:38

boy I saw someone say bad boy first of all you can never take bad

  • 38:44

boy out bad boy can well let me not say that let me not say that some people may want to take bad boy

  • 38:50

out so you take out Rough Riders why uh not not because of what they lack

  • 38:57

just of what the others have more of damn I can't [ __ ] call this one uh

  • 39:03

better artists albums longer runs more consistency um a longer

  • 39:10

existence I mean I love DMX but that would be that would be the hardest part to take out I mean I like Eve but Eve

  • 39:18

was cool I'm not that's not going up against a cash money roster a Rockefeller roster um or a bad boy

  • 39:25

roster well give me give me cash money's roster that you love so much Wayne Uh Wayne's whole career Hot Boys um ju's

  • 39:33

career um I'm putting Drake and Nikki in there that's still cash money that's

  • 39:38

cash money no that first of all that's Young Money and second of all cash money entirely different situation no it's not

  • 39:44

that is not considered cash money put them to with [ __ ] cash money are they signed cash money yes or no they're

  • 39:50

signed to Young Money what is Young Money a part of Young Money assigned to cash Mone it doesn't matter they're like two separate to I guarantee Cash Money

  • 39:58

takes money out of their album sales well their name is cash money so I'm sure they take money from many places

  • 40:06

but if you if we're going based on cruise and [ __ ] like that like Nikki and Drake aren't repping cash money they're

  • 40:11

repping Young Money it's a separate it doesn't matter though it's not part of their can't count Drake and Nikki as

  • 40:18

totally different they're signed to Cash Money it doesn't matter but we're talking about the the movement is the Cash Money logo on the back of Drake's

  • 40:24

albums that doesn't matter we're talking about the movements of it like is the is the bad boy logo on [ __ ] Cassie [ __ ]

  • 40:32

yeah but we're not counting her towards it yeah come on like you could put Cassie in the bad boy category nobody's

  • 40:37

putting Cassie I didn't say that but Drake and Cassie are not the same artist so what are you guys talking about but it

  • 40:44

    does don't you dare s [ __ ] I love me and you I do

  • 40:51

too but yeah um I don't know that's tough I think you guys well for sake of of the conversation mhm can we not put

  • 40:58

Drake and Nikki in cash money because as we're as the debate is happening with these Crews I don't think the general

  • 41:06

public is putting Drake and Nikki with cash money right I think they're talking about H crew Golden Era and that's not

  • 41:12

now with cash money like does even exist anymore yeah are so you have to bring

  • 41:18

them compare them all back to when they really had their real run Nicki and Drake don't count toward that and they're really just like separate

  • 41:24

entities not like they're moving as a and just doing this whole huge young can

  • 41:30

you can you just rank the [ __ ] cruise for me I don't have time to hear you kids bicker back and forth well I I'm

  • 41:35

not ranking it without them because they're part of it if you got for the sake of the conversation we get how you

  • 41:41

interpret it okay everyone else does not okay well then I would take

  • 41:48

out is Wayne's whole career in this cash money thing because it was Young Money this is important question he started on

  • 41:54

cashone dysfunctional guy man why you got to just make everything difficult

  • 42:00

what the I'm asking Wayne is signed to Cash Money as a cash money artist he started Young Money but he is a cash

  • 42:06

money artist so yes his entire career is credited my of rapping for

  • 42:13

Wayne I ain't going to lie my [ __ ] the listeners cannot see her eyes right now but I'm a little

  • 42:20

terrified yeah how does Cleveland bay feel when you do this what that I have that I'm fans of like Wayne and like Tai

  • 42:26

uh if that's what you call it it's not what I'm talking about necessarily um I mean he makes fun of me

  • 42:32

but that's about it we he's he's it's different like it

  • 42:37

just Cleveland don't care different it's different anyway so can can we rank these Cru if you took out Rough Riders I

  • 42:44

would have to assume that they're less well no because that changes if we're not counting all of cash money are

  • 42:50

we only counting the hot boys and Wayne's first few albums no and the bigtim no we're just not not counting

  • 42:57

Drake and Nikki okay it uh then I would put bad boy

  • 43:04

Rockefeller Cash Money Ru Riders I didn't know we were ranking I thought it supposed to be one well I asked him if

  • 43:09

you're not listening to the podcast you're on um bad boy Rockefeller M uh

  • 43:15

cash money and Ru Riders Rough Riders I'm the same way I rank the

  • 43:22

same how can you do that because I just did why how could bad boy be first uh just

  • 43:30

for debate sake here well I think even in the bad bad boy era their producers were even putting

  • 43:37

out all the other competitive music like bad boy bad boy ran a whole entire era

  • 43:44

Rockefeller was extremely close to doing that but bad boy owned [ __ ] those mid90s like owned them there was nothing

  • 43:52

else pumping out besides bad boy and Tupac

  • 43:57

nothing they own there was no competition uh you just named the competition death

  • 44:03

row I I bad boy had a better run than death R hence why they weren't even added to

  • 44:10

that I don't know about that I don't know if that can be said

  • 44:15

with such certainty what are we crediting death row with oh this conversation's getting interesting uh

  • 44:20

we're crediting NWA we're crediting come on we're crediting death row with

  • 44:26

NWA are we not this goes back to the Drake and Wayne thing NWA was not signed

  • 44:32

to death row Dr Dre just happened to be a part of NWA before now you want to count it like that you guys

  • 44:39

are you guys are counting it that way that's why I'm doing this cuz you guys are counting it this way so just be

  • 44:45

consistent in your argument just be consistent in your argument why I can't I can't talk with why would I do that

  • 44:51

unbelievable I'm not going to be consistent in my I'm consistent with with what argument favors my

  • 44:58

argument oh my God okay so that doesn't make it true so all right uh we got

  • 45:06

Pac right who else was on death row Snoop

  • 45:12

but was doggy style under death row Snoop wasn't Dre on death row yeah but

  • 45:19

he didn't put out an album under death row so he still on it let fat check

  • 45:24

that oh my god let's fact check it Drake didn't put out album with cash money but he doesn't count I want to fact check

  • 45:31

you because that's important if you give me now facts are important no this fact

  • 45:36

because it's your fact yes no I want to know if if if Dre put out any album one

  • 45:42

death row because that's a big piece to this argument because if you give me if you

  • 45:48

    give me Pac Snoop and

  • 45:54

Dre yeah yeah and I'm going to argue your bad boy uh dominance yo his [ __ ]

  • 46:00

Wiki is extensive I mean he's Dr jooy and I'm the biggest [ __ ] uh bad boy guy by

  • 46:08

the way here go you just missed it go you know Rory can't read help him I can't I

  • 46:13

no you just scrolled past it it was right there du he needs his finger to read help him out here Marissa oh my

  • 46:20

God Roy's hey Roy's never going to live down this whole camera

  • 46:26

his finger he found it The Chronic The Chronic was on death finger was covering it huh The Chronic was on death row what

  • 46:32

are you [ __ ] know okay The Chronic which is a Dr Dre album is on death row

  • 46:39

okay I'm excited about this NWA movie anyway so that gives me

  • 46:44

Pac uh pac's post jail discography that gives me the chronic and that gives me

  • 46:51

Snoop was doggy style on death row I'm about to check no

  • 46:57

so what Snoop album are you counting the one that was on death row

  • 47:02

you [ __ ] that one you can't even remember it so it must been not Mur murder was the releas no doggy style was

  • 47:09

death row it does say that boom boom I was asking I was so I don't so I don't

  • 47:14

know about uh so I don't know about your [ __ ] yo bad boy there was nothing else moving he did for

  • 47:21

his except for um and I did say the yeah but that don't [ __ ] count

  • 47:26

that you mention the competition you say yo bad boy had no competition except for the competition no that's not true that's

  • 47:33

what you said you could name a thousand competitions and it would be more of a competition than one person huh I don't know either all right

  • 47:41

doggy style The Chronic doggy style The Chronic was out well before bad boy existed bad boy took back the only [ __ ]

  • 47:49

that was coming out in the early 9s with the West Coast so bad boy became the competition and then surpass them if you're matching

  • 47:55

up era versus era at the same time party and [ __ ] came out what year uh that was not on bad boy that was on uptime

  • 48:02

records uh who song is party in [ __ ] Biggie and he wasn't on bad boy you're

  • 48:08

saying you just said we're counting post jail Pac era because that's when he was on death row so I'm naturally going to

  • 48:13

do that with biggie as well I'm just trying to be consistent with your points but there was a bad boy but there was a

  • 48:19

bad boy he was signed to Uptown Records who I mean the Notorious BIG so he

  • 48:25

wasn't on Bad Boy when party and [ __ ] came out is what you're saying cuz I disagree with that okay let's fact

  • 48:31

check it let's look it up yo Rory being Rory being the looker upper guy has to change oh he's the only

  • 48:39

one no actually I was about to say he's the only one that brings a computer but I absolutely have my computer right here yeah man Rory can't read yeah and he

  • 48:45

uses my and he totally looks like he should be able to read by the way you look like a classic

  • 48:54

man okay partan [ __ ] label up Jo me

  • 48:59

first for come on he can't read he dresses really well oh you're like a

  • 49:06

    broke classic man you're like a [ __ ] CL The

  • 49:11

Becoming of classic man like classic kid classic kid that's funny I'll give you that joke

  • 49:18

that's Prett good that was good that was good I have nothing nothing to say back all right all right back CL boy Party

  • 49:25

and [ __ ] is on label just Uptown nothing else all right all right we

  • 49:31

didn't even me and you were [ __ ] engaging here we didn't even get Marissa's take on anything oh you had the same take as Rory right y I agree

  • 49:36

all right so if you throw no limit in the in the field here then what happens oh that's tough

  • 49:42

um [ __ ] no limit put out an album every other Tuesday y those covers were epic

  • 49:48

the album covers from back then them and the Cash Money album covers they had some great well how how many classic

  • 49:53

albums does No Limit have that that would be a question I would have to raise CU a lot of these Crews have have

  • 49:59

Classic Albums that you could name right off the top of your head I could be mistaken unless someone else can name a classic album from No

  • 50:07

Limit I I mean I'm a big make him say un fan too but and about it about it no limit

  • 50:16

just has so much content yeah I know put they literally put out album every Tuesday that you can't literally like

  • 50:22

literally and they all sold yeah like that was that the golden

  • 50:27

era masterp was on Forbes next to [ __ ] remember his MTV Cribs episode

  • 50:33

with the [ __ ] gold are we counting wait are we counting little Romeo yo that song was stuck in my head

  • 50:39

the other day little soldiers need love oh my God I used to like little

  • 50:44

Rome I was in eighth grade Marissa Marissa Marissa listen when and I may have said this before well I have to

  • 50:50

speak to your parents whenever you uh perish I really morbid that is so morbid

  • 50:57

I really want to get your brain inspected thank you like I have to

  • 51:02

understand it I mean what are you going to really find there though you youtubed classic man because you interviews cuz

  • 51:08

you had a crush on him yes Jen and little Romeo song was stuck in your head

  • 51:15

in 2015 yeah well it just randomly popped in because I said I said something about little soldiers and then

  • 51:20

it just came in my head little soldiers need love um I don't know how I would rank the is

  • 51:26

uh I'm not kicking anybody out I hate

  • 51:32

you really I'm not doing it I'm not doing it I I can't I can't kick No Limit out cuz if you take No Limit Out you got

  • 51:38

to take away [ __ ] masterp and I cannot do that masterp [ __ ] see murder I I'm not doing that um bad boy I

  • 51:45

love if you remove bad boy then you got to remove [ __ ] uh both biggie albums uh my

  • 51:52

unpopular classic which is no way out um it was just too much content from Bad

  • 51:58

Boy um and I'm counting R&B in that too G Harlem World yeah harm world it's too

  • 52:05

    it's too much um Rockefeller is all of [ __ ] Jay who's the [ __ ] goat yeah

  • 52:11

well State beans beans has great albums property Kanye you have to count in

  • 52:16

there yeah the early wait what no Kanye came I'm not count no [ __ ] Kanye and

  • 52:21

Rockell drop I'm still not no the first album

  • 52:27

was absolutely 100% know I'm wrong no I know it's I know it's wrong but me personally I'm

  • 52:35

not counting that as Rockefeller after that that first album was completely Rockefeller done andito

  • 52:42

no they they were folding but they were still existing well well maybe cuz I was in the building and [ __ ] Rockefeller

  • 52:48

was over with uh I just don't see it as I he had the Rockefeller chain and all that stuff like it was oh man it was he

  • 52:55

was the album was you always give the worst Point don't try to save Marissa

  • 53:01

wait let's focus on that for a minute yo so because he had the Rockefeller chain on yes it was still an existing as a

  • 53:07

label men has the Rockefeller chain right now the RO Nation change Jesus anyway different um yeah for me college

  • 53:17

drop out you know that was the beginning of a new era I get it I get that it was

  • 53:22

on Rock I know that I'm wrong that I'm wrong about that but also as a producer

  • 53:27

he was there at the peak and he was responsible for a lot of those records as a producer okay right okay he's he's

  • 53:33

definitely part of Rockefeller records DMX I

  • 53:39

Lov DMX [ __ ] I bought the dragon album oh my God Dragon um the rough

  • 53:47

riters compilation albums [ __ ] uh delocks Eve I bought that album too

  • 53:56

um you know what if I have to uh who we got and you put swiss as a producer swis

  • 54:02

beats yeah so if we're gonna add Kanye as a producer to Rockefeller I might have to put cash money last

  • 54:07

yeah yeah maybe I mean I could yeah because Wayne it was really Wayne when

  • 54:13

Wayne really peaked Gran ju's Run was crazy and the

  • 54:20

    hot boys had a cool run they gave us I wasn't I wasn't I wasn't I personally wasn't H boys um guy and I think they

  • 54:27

did a lot for for southern music on radio um they did not not to say I'm not

  • 54:32

discrediting anything I'm just adding to the to to to what they have accomplished you count Big Timers too I wasn't a big

  • 54:39

timers guy I do I enjoyed them uh for me when I thought cash money I thought four

  • 54:45

uh 400 degrees Yeah well that would be the peak if we're not counting that was the album that I needed latter Wayne or

  • 54:51

and early Wayne didn't really do it for me he wasn't he didn't really catch his win until like rap's most improved

  • 54:58

player like I think so in like 05 like significantly yeah yeah I think so I don't think many people talk about that

  • 55:04

yeah uh the jump that Wayne made I also we didn't see kids we didn't see uh 13y

  • 55:11

olds that are now rap Legends rapping at 13 so it's like we watch all

  • 55:18

right um we watched Wing row not a lot of people careers were under the Microsoft don't do that again mer being

  • 55:24

s FC obviously your sarcasm is whack thank you Joe but anyway um damn I had a

  • 55:32

point I wanted to make about this I was going to ask uh from these collectives

  • 55:38

which which who gave us the best album but I guess we would be here too long to do that and that's super relative yeah

  • 55:45

that's true too and the other day I asked Rory and I and I I I'll ask this here oh this is turning into like a

  • 55:51

hip-hop podcast yeah it is um but whatever I I asked Rory the other day so I ask it here for the listeners to chime

  • 55:58

in on I asked Rory to give me the five greatest rappers based on a consecutive

  • 56:06

two album span a consecutive two album

  • 56:12

span which is il madic It Was Written which is College Dropout late

  • 56:17

registration uh you know two albums yeah back to back not two albums in their

  • 56:23

discography yeah not two albums in their discography two backto back albums and I

  • 56:29

think our list was pretty much the same yeah but um we had DMX We had Kanye

  • 56:37

we had um n Nas i i w to I want to almost say uh I I wanted to

  • 56:45

put in Dre he only has two albums but they were back to me valid I'm not

  • 56:51

counting Dre I mean it was a 12 yeah really large gap there I like I have to

  • 56:59

like I have to [ __ ] uh I have to think some more oh we we mentioned M

  • 57:04

with Slim Shady has to go there I have to put M has to go there

  • 57:11

uh I know some people that'll put Jeezy there I wouldn't yeah you can make an argument I

  • 57:17

I can't say I would and I would put a I would put uh I would put beans

  • 57:23

there but anyway and I'd like someone to try to argue Jay-Z into that just to see what they would have to say yeah me me

  • 57:30

and Rory came up with we don't really think Jay would go there talking back to back if you're

  • 57:37

talking back to back what do you do Reasonable Doubt and volume one no I like volume one but um then you put

  • 57:44

blueprint kingdom come if I'm not mistaken no blueprint and blueprint two I'm sorry yeah no Black Album Kingdom

  • 57:52

like Kingdom Come Black Album n that ain't getting it done no volume two

  • 57:58

volume three cool yeah that don't that don't really get it done either uh but we're open to

  • 58:05

being wrong so uh yeah let us know tweet us email us what's the email Rory I'll

  • 58:10

name this podcast later at gmail.com yeah email us tweet us your thoughts uh let us know if we're leaving anybody out

  • 58:16

on there um I'm going to Rory we have to send Philly the R&B list so he can do it

  • 58:22

oh yeah that has to be done we're we're late we push back the bracket um I turn

  • 58:27

my laptop off out of fear of the barbes finding my IP address so what album do you like better uh uh Bean's first album

  • 58:34

or Jeezy's first album that's tough um yeah I think that's really tough and

  • 58:39

it's a question that I can't that I don't typically ask people because I know jez's popularity will dominate the

  • 58:44

conversation and I know he had an amazing first album that is a cult classic but I like the truth is a great

  • 58:51

[ __ ] album hell yeah yeah because I'm talking to a younger audience well it's no that's not

  • 58:57

true I don't I don't ask that question I was there for both those albums yeah I feel like our audience as a consumer waiting for them and buying them they

  • 59:03

were even if they were in middle school I feel like most of our audience has probably heard both of those I don't know about that I was in

  • 59:09

high school when Jesus first came out yeah no I know so when you talk about Bean first album yeah CU I was a freshman in college when Jay-Z's first

  • 59:15

one came out yeah when did the beans come out n 99 no beans album was I'm

  • 59:23

awful brain I was think2 it was 01 or2 which one you got off

  • 59:30

rip I listen to beans more than I do that Jeezy album so I'm gonna say beans

  • 59:36

jezy more oh could have guessed that one um I don't know where we're at in time but I do want to do what it might be

  • 59:42

over for because I was watching um Uncommon Sense I was watching charlot

  • 59:48

main show yeah M and it's going to be over for that show rather quickly it will that show's not it's just not a

  • 59:55

good show um I do appreciate the attempt I do too and what

  • 1:00:03

he is trying to do um but nah and I do I do have a

  • 1:00:10

couple of black panther friends that feel like uh you know here's the white people coming off stealing black Twitter

  • 1:00:17

yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I got some black panther friends that feel like that but 11:00 p.m. on a Friday night

  • 1:00:22

number one uh number two uh what I learned watching that show was I want to

  • 1:00:30

read thoughts from the people that I follow I don't necessarily want to see

  • 1:00:37

the people that I follow on television with the conversation dominated by

  • 1:00:43

Charlamagne interrupted by whatever the white people you done they did they also

  • 1:00:50

said no one listens to it which was really rude no one listens to our podcast that's that was the comment

  • 1:00:56

yeah that was a little confusing um he said no one listens to the podcast and then begin to talk about

  • 1:01:02

podcast podcast and and and made it his goal to come back from vacation and talk

  • 1:01:07

about our podcast Charlamagne you are smarter than that you're a smart guy you're way smarter than that don't

  • 1:01:14

really get it and there's also there's also this thing right below on Soundcloud that tells you how many people listen and it's over

  • 1:01:21

25,000 a week um yeah chilling that's just SoundCloud not even iTunes but I

  • 1:01:27

think it was trolling on purpose I don't think he's well either way uh that's

  • 1:01:32

Show's getting the [ __ ] out of here and it's not going to be around very long 11 o' on a Friday night poorly slotted well they must not believe in it if they're

  • 1:01:38

slotting it there well well it's new I meanest yeah but the show's just not good I haven't seen it so it's not a

  • 1:01:45

good it's just not a good show I watched it uh I watched it I wanted to see I

  • 1:01:50

wanted to critique um and poor TX man oh oh man they they wouldn't even sit tax

  • 1:01:57

next to Charlamagne oh they put him over at the Kitty table they put him at the side table all the caping that [ __ ]

  • 1:02:03

tax does for charlem man you could have sat him next to you with the a table that was [ __ ] horrible I and out of fear of his mouth that's what editing is

  • 1:02:09

for just let him go off and grab the funny clips yeah actually tax is the entire reason that I wanted to tune and

  • 1:02:15

I wanted to see tax's hairline and you're so stupid tax is so funny though hey you're not plugging tax on this

  • 1:02:21

podcast shut the [ __ ] up I'm not plugging and shout out to Cass I watched cuz I want friend of mine and I was very

  • 1:02:28

happy that he got selected for that show you know for all of our podcast beef I do enjoy tax but

  • 1:02:34

uh podcast beef yeah well podcast beef is just funny it's yeah it's hilarious I

  • 1:02:39

don't want anybody out there to think that there's actual podcast beef I that's oxymoron in itself if there was a

  • 1:02:45

podcast beef I don't know how that would go like what is a podcast beef hey podcast beef is like what Peter had with

  • 1:02:52

combat Jack and combat Jack had real podcast beef real life beef though yeah so yeah

  • 1:03:00

but that is what resonates over to [ __ ] valid yep what a bunch of

  • 1:03:06

losers anybody that has a podcast beef my [ __ ] you really have to reevaluate is a loser your entire thought process

  • 1:03:13

and and combat Jack is my guy but you know what I can't even say he podcast because he didn't speak about it on his

  • 1:03:19

podcast yes he did oh no no he spoke he didn't he spoke about it on tax's podcast listen well that makes it

  • 1:03:25

podcast beef yeah still a podcast spoke about it on the podcast podcast beef yeah yeah yeah yeah I'm I enjoy his

  • 1:03:31

podcast I love combat Jack but he I think he did the raise the bar Rosenberg thing on his podcast but it doesn't

  • 1:03:36

matter it was funny I enjoyed it well all right well bottom line off of those guys I am not partaking in any podcast

  • 1:03:42

beef but I am going to uh fuel this fake uh podcast beef between tax and I um but

  • 1:03:49

    yeah that show is [ __ ] horrible I don't I don't have it lasting very long at all yeah I don't

  • 1:03:54

um so yeah it might be over for Uncommon Sense on MTV 2 Friday at 11:00 p.m. if

  • 1:04:01

you want to check it out and you guys never have it it might be over for I have one

  • 1:04:09

Birdman hey don't judge you this is my thoughts I'd I'm I'd love to hear how it

  • 1:04:17

might be over for Birdman please enlighten me his entire R I don't see it

  • 1:04:22

being over his entire roster has fleed and I don't think that he can't come

  • 1:04:29

back from it what entire roster has fleed everyone's gone or trying to be gone rather I should say every single

  • 1:04:36

person which mean well I need you to pick one well okay is everyone gone or is everyone trying to be gone half of

  • 1:04:41

them are gone the other half that remain are trying to beone all right so who's gone um these are really irrelevant

  • 1:04:47

people but oh what do you [ __ ] know khed came and left uh bust of rymes came and left mystical came and left Young

  • 1:04:53

Thug was doing a management situation he's gone now he wants nothing to do with it um Wayne is trying to get off Tiger's trying to get off Drake and

  • 1:04:59

Nikki are trying to leave with Wayne um and so none of the so none of the prominent people are off no but they're

  • 1:05:06

trying to be what saying is that there's clearly some shitty business going on and that's why I'm that's what my basis

  • 1:05:11

for my argument is well we could have told you that years ago when all these people were randomly suing Cash Money saying they weren't getting paid we

  • 1:05:17

could have assumed that shitty business was being done but what I'm saying is I'm saying it's all coming to a head now

  • 1:05:22

no it ain't he's got [ __ ] paperwork on these people I know but that doesn't mean that people it ain't going to be over for me if I got paperwork on

  • 1:05:28

somebody what do you what do you think because somebody want to leave I'm all right I'll just put this paperwork in the dresser over here

  • 1:05:34

and it's going to be all worked out whether he gets money from it at the end or not is not really what I'm saying pocket wise it's just I'm just saying

  • 1:05:41

like label wise as this ain't the first time it's happened to him yeah the whole Squad pretty much all he had left was

  • 1:05:48

Wayne that who couldn't really rap at that point that's valid yeah good so this has happened to him before yeah and

  • 1:05:53

he bounced back quite he came out of the fire like like a phoenix on that one yeah that's true uh yeah and I'm sure he

  • 1:06:00

has businesses that have nothing to do with music no I'm not saying financially it's over for I'm saying as a yeah you don't think logs are going to get Popp

  • 1:06:07

wait no lugs is flex right that's not baby no that was that was both oh I own

  • 1:06:12

a p logs at one point I bet you did don't doubt that at all I remember when they used to have

  • 1:06:17

ad here defend your shitty shitty before logs uh was uh uh

  • 1:06:26

associated with such wax juice mhm way back in the sixth grade so this was what

  • 1:06:35

95 maybe even before yeah it has to be cuz I was in third grade maybe even before I had a pair of

  • 1:06:43

brown uh low cut lugs that were very dope I used to love now I totally

  • 1:06:49

understand why never gave you the time of day word makes total sense well let's be clear wasn't the best dressed

  • 1:06:55

[ __ ] either back then hey let me just throw that one out there I wasn't into her cuz she was such a

  • 1:07:02

fashionist well Eric karantini came with the Gucci loafers with his drug dealing now Eric karantini was a great dresser

  • 1:07:09

but uh totally off of that all right so Marissa says it might be over for a [ __ ] billionaire who it's not going to be over for I don't have one and Rory

  • 1:07:16

doesn't have one of course Donald Rory is Rory uh Donald Trump is a [ __ ] dick and I'm not going to waste any time

  • 1:07:22

talking about Donald Trump here no I will say doing a lot of backpedaling I

  • 1:07:27

he had to I hope this continues I hope to God he doesn't he won't even get the Republican vote but it's just

  • 1:07:34

entertaining to watch yeah it's it's funny it's fun to watch uh train Rex

  • 1:07:40

yeah but it is awful that he is at that platform in our country that someone is

  • 1:07:45

even going yeah you know what maybe yeah yeah I know that [ __ ] when my [ __ ] El

  • 1:07:51

Chapo sent them things through boy that [ __ ] El Chapo sent some than through

  • 1:07:57

Trump nerv in mother they was saying they put up uh 3.8 million or pesos to

  • 1:08:02

    uh to to turn them in F I ain't doing that for 3 ain't nobody [ __ ] turning in El Chapo for [ __ ] 3.8 million PES

  • 1:08:12

I was telling read today yeah right I was tell read today I don't even want to accidentally run into him at the

  • 1:08:17

deli just so he thinks maybe I know who he is yeah yeah no [ __ ] all of that um

  • 1:08:23

damn it damn it damn it D where we going oh my favorite part of the podcast emails listen to Roy Reed yes emails we

  • 1:08:29

get to listen get your pointer finger out roers we we I got a manicure just for

  • 1:08:35

today oh this is wonderful we got to help Rory learn to

  • 1:08:40

read mad pressure yeah we don't even get a Rory's rant anymore oh man you're really

  • 1:08:47

slipping bro I have been huh you haven't been listening to Bill bur you know I got to I got to re up on my podcast

  • 1:08:54

steal some more [ __ ] yeah this is [ __ ] horrible Rory anyway all right not going to say his name cuz I think

  • 1:09:00

    he's a piece of [ __ ] um what's up I think only pieces of [ __ ] email us what's up guys I've been listening to

  • 1:09:05

the podcast for all 21 weeks now and I've got to say you guys are very entertaining to listen to and on occasion hugely insightful thank you on

  • 1:09:13

occasion we we are I didn't know by mistake I have a

  • 1:09:18

certain situation I'm dealing with and I thought I could benefit from hearing you all's thoughts on what I should to do I

  • 1:09:24

have shorty that I've been on and off cool with for 3 years and right now we're more so Switched Off real [ __ ]

  • 1:09:32

yeah this particularly because I got to college and wanted to finesse some hoes

  • 1:09:37

during my first year that's real nigas sh and talk that can be a little

  • 1:09:43

difficult when you have a whole ass girlfriend it's possible with a half girlfriend the whole it's it's a little difficult from what from what I've heard

  • 1:09:50

from what I've heard I'm following them uh all right I know we still have mad feelings for each other but there's a

  • 1:09:55

lot of pride in the way and also the fact that she has a boyfriend wait

  • 1:10:01

what my question is how do I keep the possible door open so that when I'm really ready to settle down the road I

  • 1:10:08

can finesse back into those cheeks again well what happened is he had a girlfriend he left College he went to

  • 1:10:14

college they broke up she got a boyfriend he's [ __ ] hoes but they still love each other all right we'll

  • 1:10:19

just keep talking to her until paths cross again I don't know y just text her later at night to piss off a new man

  • 1:10:25

Dirty Mac as much as you can be there well see I see I would I would suggest

  • 1:10:30

for you to not talk to her at all I was being you got to [ __ ] with your hoes you

  • 1:10:35

don't want to talk to her you want to make since you know those feelings are there you want to keep them there you don't want to make them any worse so

  • 1:10:41

just let her be in her relationship while she has feelings for you and when you're done [ __ ] with your hoes you double back and uh [ __ ] your girl who

  • 1:10:48

has feelings for you so she'll let you [ __ ] duh I need to just solve everyone

  • 1:10:53

problem here's here's one from Marissa oh God is Marissa having a bird

  • 1:10:59

Evolution thank you I've been listening yeah for the last 20 weeks she's been having a bird Evolution I've been uh

  • 1:11:05

I've been listening since the beginning big fan of Joe uh now oh thank you babe it's a dude a dude but oh yo my

  • 1:11:15

[Music] [ __ ] thanks for the hetero

  • 1:11:22

    support yo that's real [ __ ] my [ __ ] y That's good looking sh man

  • 1:11:27

man all right uh now it seems kind of odd as the podcast gains more popularity

  • 1:11:33

Marissa Marissa's air mattress has blown up even more are you worried oh that was a funny reference I like that one thanks

  • 1:11:39

Guy are you worry that at 27 when you try and settle down and all of the flyy outs and double standards are going to

  • 1:11:45

hurt you what fly back fly out attemps okay

  • 1:11:51

okay which might be worse than actual fly out fly out attempts from

  • 1:11:58

her how it fly out attempts from the girl you know when supposedly you fly

  • 1:12:03

with a girl you have to ask for her birthday name Marissa just sends that oh man look at my

  • 1:12:10

I she just sends it you are you need just in case it was crossing your mind

  • 1:12:15

yeah you're not a uh JV honey man I mean I'm not used to that life anyway keep reading the email that's it um that's it

  • 1:12:22

are you worried that uh at 27 when you try to settle down all these flows and double standards are going to hurt you in the long run no cuz I also know like

  • 1:12:29

this sounds so gay I also know my spirit and I know that it's really not going to

  • 1:12:35

affect me because it doesn't mean much to me now it won't mean much to me in a relationship and I don't really want a guy that's like super caught up on all

  • 1:12:40

types of little [ __ ] on me being on me trying to fly out every week that's not what I've been trying to do wait wait

  • 1:12:48

she just worded that as I don't want a guy who's super caught up with little [ __ ]

  • 1:12:54

I guess it's not necessarily little sh I can't make this stuff up okay wait I had to double tap cuz I was reading and I

  • 1:12:59

was like I didn't hear that the nervous guy I don't want to pay

  • 1:13:05

attention to details about my life oh what a I don't want a guy that

  • 1:13:10

listens to my podcast no no I don't that's not even reasonable um you just what a guy who was listening to your

  • 1:13:16

podcast right and so does Cleveland he doesn't give a [ __ ] yeah you just contradict yourself every [ __ ] sense

  • 1:13:23

that comes though I feel like someone that I'm meant for will just understand it and get it and [ __ ] with the double

  • 1:13:29

standard [ __ ] and not I'm saying like not consider the double standard all right cuz I'm very open

  • 1:13:36

about my [ __ ] I'm not trying to hide anything I'm not trying to be somebody I'm not no no we got it my [ __ ] I'm just saying no we understand like I'm

  • 1:13:42

real about it and I'm not like the worst the worst kind of hoes are the ones that do that [ __ ] behind closed doors trying

  • 1:13:47

to act different n them [ __ ] is way worse yo shut up anyway that is my response to that Take Me As I Am

  • 1:13:55

[ __ ] I hate when people say that what take me as I am I'm not saying myy shitty but like I hate when people

  • 1:14:01

like if you can't put up with me like this then you can't have me when I'm like what if you're just a shitty person

  • 1:14:06

take me for no no I'm saying this you are not yes you are I hate when people say that take me for who I am what if

  • 1:14:12

you're a shitty person why should I take you as a shitty person I'm not a shitty person at all okay you know what let me

  • 1:14:19

paraphrase let me rephrase you have look at look at this from the eyes of a potential ba yeah

  • 1:14:28

would you be a shitty person then no because I'm I'm being honest that's not

  • 1:14:34

honest you would be a shitty person if a potential ba was listening to your [ __ ] [ __ ] a potential pay a ba listen

  • 1:14:41

to the podcast and you know you know what he because I was [ __ ] talking [ __ ] about him and I called him a basic [ __ ] from Jersey so he thinks you're a

  • 1:14:48

shitty person yeah I mean that was a shitty move on my part which I felt bad about a little bit but but and Cleveland

  • 1:14:54

bay listened to one of the episodes and called you shitty person yeah but at one point he wasn't so happy with what he

  • 1:14:59

was hearing he wasn't prepared for it I guess so he thought you were a [ __ ] us to it and he was like oh [ __ ] it never mind fish spot every other week calls

  • 1:15:07

you a shitty person and then he's back in love again so that doesn't count you might be a shitty person nope I think

  • 1:15:13

well from the eyes of these people I love you and care about you so I don't think you're a shitty person but then

  • 1:15:18

again I'm not trying to put my dick inside of you so valid um I'm saying if somebody's trying to put their dick inside of you you might be a shitty

  • 1:15:24

person uh I mean I could see that but I also think that ass eating joke somewhere in there an ass eating joke

  • 1:15:31

somewhere in there in there yeah and me saying shitty person someone trying to it was funny to me f it was funny to me

  • 1:15:38

[ __ ] you you delivered it it it was poor timing it was poor timing but no I just think it's because I'm honest and um I'm

  • 1:15:45

actually not like a like player person you should talk to Aliana I think I'm think I got a good

  • 1:15:52

grasp on it I just go for shitty guys so so you don't have a good grasp on it no

  • 1:15:57

I'm just you really got to listen to women that's why I'm not in a relationship I

  • 1:16:02

go fumb and immediately follow it with some other [ __ ] that goes against what

  • 1:16:09

they just said that [ __ ] that you did this weekend that your therapist makes you do say that one more time say it one

  • 1:16:16

more time yeah cuz if you say something three times you might realize that you sound like a [ __ ] idiot yeah yeah uh

  • 1:16:22

I was uh uh for the for the listeners my therapist when I say like really

  • 1:16:28

    [ __ ] [ __ ] sometimes we say [ __ ] [ __ ] and don't know how [ __ ] we sound so my therapist makes me

  • 1:16:33

repeat things um and then I typically realize how [ __ ] I but uh yeah I was

  • 1:16:40

doing that with who is that Rocky oh she sounded [ __ ] boy she sounded [ __ ] um like that Chima just said

  • 1:16:46

    thank you I got a really good grasp on things I just like [ __ ] up [ __ ] I'm saying I understand it is

  • 1:16:52

what I'm saying the good grasp is and I know that I go for shitty guys but that's just because I'm [ __ ] so yeah

  • 1:16:58

whatever I got Joe burgers in my fridge I got to get to I had enough for you guys hey where we at what time time to

  • 1:17:03

go 80 longy was a good flowing podcast we love check I think I was talking to you

  • 1:17:09

idiots that long thank you I I didn't want to talk to you that long nice to your friends I've been sitting here holding this piss

  • 1:17:16

and I call the girls room well I mean that's what works cuz I'm a girl and pissing uh when you're on crutches and

  • 1:17:23

can't walk is like the most annoying thing to do I [ __ ] drip on myself every day not fun visual I don't really drip

  • 1:17:30

on myself but it was funny to say yeah uh whatever anyway uh so we're going to get out of here I'll name this podcast

  • 1:17:36

later that was episode number 22 I think so Y and that was that any last words

  • 1:17:42

from you guys oh great no wonderful wait
