  • 1:24

through it shout out to everybody just with a vision and a plan man that's all

  • 1:29

I got for you guys this week man he's out there man okay yeah yeah yeah I'm

  • 1:38

giving me some look all right we start with some unfortunate news the hip-hop

  • 1:46

community as well as the battle rap community lost a major contributor and

  • 1:52

someone who I deem to be a legend tec-9 again not to be confused with tec-9 from

  • 1:59

strange music that's confusing for some people who weren't aware of both gentlemen tec-9 from Philadelphia the

  • 2:07

battle rapper passed away and man

  • 2:12

man not that not the news I wanted to wake up to so I want to start with a rest in peace I want to start with love

  • 2:21

prayers condolences to not only his family friends and loved ones but to the

  • 2:26

entire hip-hop community a lot of people stepped up and gave flowers and if you

  • 2:35

know tech if you if you had that pleasure of ever meeting tech he wasn't

  • 2:41

a sad guy he wasn't an angry guy he wasn't a mad guy he didn't have enemies

  • 2:47

one of the friendliest coolest gentlemen that you could have the pleasure of

  • 2:52

meeting so I'm not in here to be to to mourn and be sad because my views on

  • 2:58

death are a little warped while of course we want tec-9 here with us God

  • 3:07

needed him up there God needed him up there and I'm a little superstitious when it comes to stuff

  • 3:14

like this like I believe that my life changed drastically after uh my pastor

  • 3:22

passed away Rev Ron rest in peace so I do feel like God calls people up there

  • 3:28

to kind of look after [ __ ] from time to time and my sentiment is no different

  • 3:34

here with tec-9 and battle rap I would not be surprised to see I wouldn't be

  • 3:44

surprised I'll just be watching battle rap closely to see tec-9s

  • 3:49

fingerprints from up above those are Joe's thoughts I'm weird and death that

  • 3:56

way I feel like in the following years we may see some things occurring battle

  • 4:01

rap that we've never seen happen before we may see some people encounter some

  • 4:08

really good favor some people who were waiting on it some people who were in need of it I just feel like there's a

  • 4:14

such thing as angels and uh for tec-9 to go this way I'm gonna assume that God

  • 4:21

needed him up there and I'm gonna assume that he's gonna continue doing this things that he did while he was here

  • 4:27

which was spreading love spreading joy spreading positive energy like it was

  • 4:32

never a bad vibe around that do it anyhow I've met tec-9 I think I think I

  • 4:38

met him once but it was just like a what's up it wasn't no real conversation I mean even if you ever met him just his

  • 4:46

charisma and how funny he was just how he worked the room of a battle like you

  • 4:51

could just tell the type of personality he had yeah so without knowing him I could just say how dope of a person he

  • 4:57

was and I'm super funny right like if you follow the super geek a battle route

  • 5:02

of personality yeah he just was a figure that you know if you followed a culture battle rap you just you knew who

  • 5:08

technology and then you always look forward to hearing what he had to say because the way he delivered it yeah a

  • 5:14

lot of humor a lot of let me cut you all not even not even knew of tec-9 but if

  • 5:19

you were if you are fan a battle rap you had an immense respect for tech 9 as one

  • 5:26

of the oh geez he's one of the people largely responsible largely responsible for

  • 5:33

battle rap being where it is today yeah and I think a lot of the participants in

  • 5:38

battle rap acknowledged that I call him one of the bricklayers 100% logs head

  • 5:44

ice it's another [ __ ] from Philly was one it's a it's a lot of those guys and and you know to see the immense outpour

  • 5:52

of love from not just battle rappers but from the hip hop community because that

  • 5:59

was starting to bother me when they kept saying uh the Battle of the battle rap community law had lost a major concern

  • 6:06

oh no hip-hop lost a major contributor it didn't

  • 6:12

matter if you were unaware he was somebody who was carrying a manual of integrity and just rocking so listen I'm

  • 6:18

not here to mourn because like I said if you knew tec-9 I don't think I don't think he would want us to yeah I don't

  • 6:26

think he would want us to mourn I think he would want us to celebrate his life so that's what I'm here to do and it's

  • 6:32

odd because you know people have passed here and we're coming in with sad a lot but this was the first time where I came

  • 6:37

in here after somebody out that I knew had passed and let me not say news and I was super super flyweight but I've met on a

  • 6:44

few occasions and yeah I felt like yeah this gentleman would want us to rejoice

  • 6:50

celebrate life Tech would want us to love each other like that's what Tech was on so you know I'm a play

  • 7:02

    [Applause] [Music]

  • 7:08

    I gotta get there

  • 7:28

    [Applause]

  • 7:36

    [Applause]

  • 7:44

    [Applause]

  • 7:53

    [Applause]

  • 8:05

that's text like real legacy in battle rap of performance like not just trying

  • 8:12

to bar someone to death aggressively like straight like showmanship I think is really where he laid you saying a

  • 8:17

bricklayer yeah he was performing up there yeah what you see now that's like

  • 8:23

a big factor in that around now you have to do that to win yeah he was the first person that I that I saw that it was all

  • 8:30

performance I mean yeah it was him good head eyes like they might not have been

  • 8:36

the most lyrical dude but they was gonna perform you under a table yeah and it worked and listen even and we don't know

  • 8:45

cuz toxicology hasn't come back but it's reported that tec-9 died in his sleep which is right writing right in line

  • 8:52

with my theory that God just take care good [ __ ] man what a way to go and I

  • 9:00

don't want that to come off wrong because of course we would want him here with us now but to go in your sleep I

  • 9:07

just think I just think that's right up the alley attack being a great dude that that he always was so before this

  • 9:12

podcast get started I would like to dedicate this podcast to tec-9 his family his fans the battle rap

  • 9:19

community and everyone who has had the pleasure the the pleasure of having uh

  • 9:25

an encounter with Tech and experience with Tech a story with Tech if you got

  • 9:31

to spend five minutes with Tech then you kind of knew where Tech's mind and in his heart was so rest in peace to tec-9

  • 9:39

gone but not forgotten battle rap legend and that's what I got man I see a lot of

  • 9:46

people I see math and some people writing letters to the city of Philadelphia trying to get a street

  • 9:51

named after Tech I support it no actually that's what I want in my in my

  • 9:58

uh aftermath oh and what Bentley has to be renamed I told my mom husband let's

  • 10:04

call arrogant call which one fire yeah yeah name yes [ __ ] I got you the journal

  • 10:12

    journal Rory sure no fun [ __ ] that [ __ ] tec-9s ting peace we love

  • 10:19

you we know you're here with us and I know you listening man and that's what I got for tech man I love tech rest in

  • 10:25

peace rest in peace work all right what else we got listen this is not the way that I'm

  • 10:32

starting the podcast even though it is I would like to get into my brothers in their endeavors since the last time I've

  • 10:38

seen them but uh my fiancee sent me some and said hey man that's Houston Texas

  • 10:46

she started with like a yo se yo y'all might want to talk about this picking up

  • 10:51

traction yeah I did I did at first I was

  • 10:58

appreciative but then I thought it was a little weird that she's sending me podcast topics it's like what's up and

  • 11:03

she said yo sipping paint timeline going crazy and I didn't know what that

  • 11:08

sipping paint you know that is know you like repaint women seem to like this as

  • 11:16

a date they're big into that but I've only known them to like it as a date I never heard a woman talking about

  • 11:22

going alone to the sipping so sipping

  • 11:29

paint cool but this thing that's going around is like this naked dude right

  • 11:35

here right here like oh and you can't see but she took a

  • 11:40

short show up eventually and they was like sipping and painting this guy now

  • 11:55

Loki does do say but what happens if you

  • 12:05

send your girl off the sipping pain this is what's going on in vain did you never sing again you sit when I stay your

  • 12:12

straw you can stay in the basement me

  • 12:18

hear this it is a little flavor no yeah that's it ass naked at the SIP and pay

  • 12:24

well I want to know it like the devil Anna I'm straddling the

  • 12:30

city he looks like he might be a stripper so did they have a sip and paint as they bachelorette party exhaustion sucky call the mid listen sip

  • 12:43

and paint is the new generation also but they're old the old chicks and one day

  • 12:49

wouldn't have a conversation about the old hose whenever it's safe out there whenever the dust settles we'll talk

  • 12:54

about some old old but the old old move used to be they want to go up paint this

  • 13:00

the sculpted guy - standing up naked with his dick to the floor no you can't

  • 13:11

paint it no days bucket lane that sipping paying and nothing no they

  • 13:17

[ __ ] they are [ __ ] in front of the class does they pay first they at least respect the process in the art of

  • 13:23

sipping paint right what are these get straight to the [ __ ] that looks like

  • 13:29

they probably had a glass that painting back there what is hung up yes it does

  • 13:37

appear to be a journeyman look like you need instructions to do it just a big blob of green paint and then less [ __ ]

  • 13:43

that's what it has to be like a Bachelorette thing no that's a bang bros concert piece I'm willing to say

  • 13:49

someone's getting married and that was part of the bachelor party he's getting [ __ ] in a singles club but

  • 14:13

you're being but answer the why is nuts floors the dirty always we dirty bacon

  • 14:24

right now I stand with the king is it

  • 14:31

dirty Mackin if like it's your girl that's not as good I'm this all right girl I'm not dirty my

  • 14:39

girl not to [ __ ] with you can't draw for

  • 14:48

    [ __ ] what are you doing that's the funny [ __ ] anytime have y'all ever done asleep

  • 14:55

and pain i lucky more lucky more lucky

  • 15:00

for them that's the thing more I know that's how they trick us into going isn't that my thing you know I was there

  • 15:06

so you go on it you was looking like you didn't really want to be there but you was like hey I didn't give a [ __ ] about

  • 15:11

that Chelsea and no okay no and don't

  • 15:30

send me this so hey look what homeboy doing a secure enough for you show me

  • 15:42

some [ __ ] buddy oh boy all right we on

  • 15:52

that starting with sipping and painting we have a male audience goddammit word and shout out to all you [ __ ] that

  • 15:58

have sipped and painted like y'all don't want to know I'm not mad at that because

  • 16:06

that is a no but the other thing is dues never wanted to go now we going I don't make it sure you not going to all the

  • 16:16

sipping paints yeah I would I'm making sure I'm not doing that I'm a walking butter I'm walking right to stage I paint me

  • 16:23

now smaller grab your base no he said a

  • 16:35

little smaller I'm in my frame a little

  • 16:45

smaller and don't tell mall about your frame mom

  • 16:53

mall went away for those of you that need to be kept up-to-date on what's happening mall flew out here best made a

  • 17:00

bridge made of breasts main mall went out to dallas-fort Worth fresh on he did

  • 17:06

see the Bergen did it did a meet-and-greet yeah we weren't invited does a masterclass that wasn't a meet

  • 17:12

and greet well the Masterclass meet and greet okay

  • 17:20

I don't know what you did is no no I

  • 17:28

just did a masterclass yeah well you you want to give us anything exciting from it oh man it was it was a dope

  • 17:33

experience man it's just humbling and people tell you they you know listen to you every weekend it's full of [ __ ] when

  • 17:40

they saw with all men no honestly man I'm all talking find the clip so we can tease him yeah I can't this is crazy man

  • 17:47

it was it was humbling but it was dope a lot of people came out and you know we kicked it in exchanged stories and

  • 17:53

there's a lot it's a lot of people that just hungry for information and they trying to really create and do that thing and so there's a lot of I think

  • 17:59

it's a wave of young people now that's woken up and they see that I would do anything is possible

  • 18:04

and it's just an exciting time honestly it is to see like a lot of young people wanting to own their own [ __ ] he'd given

  • 18:12

it to you giving you all all of the master phrase it's an exciting time

  • 18:28

you should consider before in sponsorship alright boys nothing

  • 18:33

don't force nothing tone up their voice

  • 18:43

    was trembling like a pony

  • 18:50

don't force nothing like I've had brands come at me to do like mad alcohol ads and host parties across the country

  • 18:57

polite you tried to take my down all this but or here's what's be ball Palooza call it out games take

  • 19:08

everything what's your name my mom's name is Carmen the one in the only son of course yeah well when they when the

  • 19:16

class was over was it indeed confirmed that you were a master like did they leave saying yo man pay for master

  • 19:23

classes masters what I got ya no one was very satisfied with ticket purchase one

  • 19:30

I saw the recap you did two shows this

  • 19:35

is classic but my only thing is my only beef I'm super glad that you're getting a master class bag off but my only beef

  • 19:41

is you come on here twice a week and [ __ ] on me for attempting to inspire the creatives I think last month you said

  • 19:48

yeah I lacked the creator city's overall go to Dallas and get right in that bed

  • 19:55

it wasn't it wasn't [ __ ] nor you to environment to creatives it wasn't that it was that I was it was more so like yo

  • 20:02

everybody is not is not a creative and everybody thinks they're creative and they're not everyone's creative in their

  • 20:07

own ways more but the master classes well yeah well not when you at the master part of the master class was being ruled you gotta be honest like you

  • 20:14

know told people I didn't want people thinking it was a secret thing to do that [ __ ] look says no I was being

  • 20:19

honest you gotta be real with people man okay that's all isn't there's no secret formula to this you chose did you tell

  • 20:24

anybody they're not creative would you

  • 20:29

create for real why get off the formula to the mall and garyvee collab class happens until bud drops off before we

  • 20:42

get in the mix Rory we do have a lot to

  • 20:55

get into starting with goop hop to finesse God and celebrating his freedom and his exoneration however before we

  • 21:03

get there Solman rory came in pretty spicy because Parkes asked him about how his

  • 21:09

last few days have been Parkes mentioned that he's seen him out a few times and Rory just got an attitude with us then

  • 21:15

he started to fan he started defending himself saying yeah you never see me if I remember correctly

  • 21:23

parks and I were having a very calm conversation and then you started screaming at the top of your lungs from the other room that is what happens good

  • 21:30

farts it you've been out quite a bit and guess what Rory said guess what guess what guess what you guessed it have I have I means you have tell it

  • 21:42

tell us all about your adventures well I only went out on Sunday like out out

  • 21:47

because I've been on the scene in a minute these new kids I dunno you're

  • 21:53

gonna say out outward yeah there's a difference between like going last night to the Blue Note for Loki a little bit

  • 22:00

but it's tofu just not going out yeah obviously on Sunday I went out I was I was I was a vinyl in the scene your

  • 22:07

lovely fiancee was there with her friends as well yeah that takes worry

  • 22:19

and what to say I said you're a hoody patootie which I then reply with you just jealous you didn't go mmm

  • 22:25

anyone say you're I feel like family I

  • 22:34

think you saw all the the IG stories is like I could be there dancing on the table too I wasn't following you

  • 22:42

following no I was you're afraid let's see glad I'm missing out gleam Oh chemo

  • 22:49

chemo Kiba I was going I was very glad that I was missing this time oh yeah I was hemo happy I mean it was a safe

  • 22:57

environment he was good I was there like if you you know if happy I'm oh no it's

  • 23:03

not here happy I'm not the app that's [ __ ] it up never sit well that's not

  • 23:10

your up did when Charles J waters 1994 Spelling Bee yes 20 what was the word I

  • 23:20

was killing [ __ ] back then and I was trash my life at some point so promising

  • 23:25

after that day so so you so you were out in the streets I was in the streets on Sunday yes enjoying yourself

  • 23:31

I was yeah it was it was good you guys never have like any takeaways to bring from your excursions back back to the

  • 23:39

podcasters oh wait you was out but you went out do you went to the vine way it was somewhere last night too though

  • 23:45

yeah what's the ori linux show a blue note yeah if he's not gonna make us care that was really good Sego came out to

  • 23:52

was good experience i like me see go yeah me too then we all went to last lap like we

  • 23:57

always do that's like this that's like the the hip the hips the spot now wait

  • 24:04

he just told us that they went to the low-key spot last night and then they all left and went to the hot spot it was

  • 24:12

it was always birthday they got a cake of [ __ ] oh yeah okay oh you're with the squad and we was squad it was drinking

  • 24:18

industry rankings going yeah hell yeah let's gooo POC we start with good old

  • 24:29

Jesse let's start would you gentlemen like to start you start somewhere else let's do it all right if you have not

  • 24:35

heard jussie Smollett has been cleared on all charges not really let me drop the church's yeah

  • 24:42

they dread they dropped the charges and he's not going to jail and they made a big fuss about he did his Rhythm Nation walk in the court again

  • 24:48

did the Rhythm Nation walk out of the court this time straight to a podium with a microphone to express how he's

  • 24:56

very aware if his family's history and he would not be his mom's son if he lied well he hit yeah hit the the key ones

  • 25:04

when you're in a situation like that brought up his mother he brought up his faith mm-hmm and he brought up the kids hmm yeah right there you clean the

  • 25:12

children to faith do it that once God gives about like what message are we giving the kids they always got to think

  • 25:19

about that I see this topic is really confusing for some people out there so

  • 25:25

thank God we're here to explain it but you know Joe no no no no no I'm looking

  • 25:32

for a hot takes from you guys how do you guys stand I kind of love that he's

  • 25:37

still like dying on that lie like I love the confidence in his riding it yes yes

  • 25:42

every reason to be confident yeah it's true he know he ain't going to jail I kind of enjoy it though I mean

  • 25:48

really tell anyway you're not gonna go to jail for a false police report really

  • 25:54

they're gonna make him do community service something like that pelo fine well I think that's what it was a name

  • 26:00

my black ass would have been in jail period well you're not the gates to pop

  • 26:05

off exactly no I'm not gay or to puck true so therefore both were debatable

  • 26:12

    [Laughter]

  • 26:18

Jesus we saw his body that's true sure mom's been to Cuba where were you on

  • 26:24

that night Vegas I was I was in New York that night and in the Bronx were you're

  • 26:30

quiet no hell no he was definitely a quiet listen I'm gonna hit the round of

  • 26:42

applause first of all he deserves a round of applause I'm so

  • 26:48

glad that this young man is not going to jail

  • 26:53

I came on here and said that I didn't want him to go to jail everybody was tweeting me when he got

  • 26:58

off like who can't wait for Jonah put the tank top on injustice we didn't make

  • 27:11

it a thing no you made it a thing I'm an iterated that it's like you know we move

  • 27:22

put on the do-rag had the cake like we know you getting into you hop I had a spinach you got your beet isn't it

  • 27:28

is this all my beaters are long and dirty with Holden I don't have a special go to one it's just like how often do a

  • 27:38

[ __ ] just get up and say every couple

  • 27:55

years you got to refresh I mean what can you even your nice clothes I'm holes in them so that's true for those holes I'm

  • 28:02

very happy that just that Jesse Smollett didn't do any jail time and I never

  • 28:09

thought he was going to do any jail time and I see how this could be really really confusing

  • 28:14

oh man it's [ __ ] up that it's [ __ ] up that if you have never had encounters

  • 28:20

with the law or if you've never had encounters with lawyers been the court

  • 28:26

for some [ __ ] been charged with some [ __ ] went to trial been to jail

  • 28:31

bull pen but have you want to slice it up if that's not part of your story I'm noticing a lot of people really have a

  • 28:37

hard time understanding what goes on right him these charges being dropped it

  • 28:46

looks like it has a lot of people confused is one saying is anybody else seeing this or is it just me hell yeah everybody know why but everybody should

  • 28:53

be confused tell me more because everybody thought that there was gonna be the charges were dropped like it's not

  • 29:00

like he went to trial he was found not guilty charges were dropped and rarely is there a confession and the charges

  • 29:07

get dropped like the two guys confessed that they set this whole thing up listen man I thought they said it was

  • 29:14

all personal training or something like that no that was just that lawyer said that that's how I just listened man yeah

  • 29:23

yeah y'all know what it is I've said it before in in no personal conversation which I like is it's clear

  • 29:30

like he's protected he's protected by who like when he was leaving court that

  • 29:36

day and I was like why did he have all it'll see all that security around him no I was confused I'm like he had like

  • 29:41

ten security guards walking him out of the courthouse and I didn't understand that I'm what he was just he was just jumped by himself

  • 29:48

well let you walk us in there let's start right there real real tough real

  • 29:55

tough to be convicted of a crime when you don't have a criminal right or a

  • 30:01

victim particularly or victim they're both or or a witness right that's number

  • 30:07

one I thought he would have got knocked over I thought he would have got in trouble for the the letter mailing the

  • 30:12

letter through the post office and then that to a company like I thought that would have carried some type of well you

  • 30:18

cuz that's that but I don't think he was ever that was ever a charge for him I don't think they could ever prove that he did that letter I so the only thing

  • 30:24

was just with the city filing of the same far from his single cover to just

  • 30:30

good marketing mall it cost money to go to trial you know that so I don't have

  • 30:36

to tell you that I'm telling the audience that so nah I never thought

  • 30:42

they were going to trial over that if anything I thought maybe the Fed to somebody would come in if they really wanted to get him but the feds never

  • 30:48

showed us they really want to get him it was always Chicago PD um also once the

  • 30:54

once the tuna Nigerian brothers came up and well that came forward once their

  • 30:59

lawyer came forward and started telling us that the money that was that was paid

  • 31:05

to these brothers was indeed for nutrition that that should have told

  • 31:10

everybody what we needed to know they can't go forward with a case against justice Millette if the only people cooperating

  • 31:17

are no longer cooperating with you they're cooperating with him and they are now corroborating his story so it

  • 31:24

don't matter that we have the gentleman on tape buying rope and Magga hats with the homeboy in the back stealing [ __ ]

  • 31:30

and nobody noticing that that part is not going to matter so they're not gonna go forward there and what else is there

  • 31:38

it's gay privilege there's entertainer privilege there's all types of privilege all over this [ __ ] and there's no

  • 31:45

victims so it's not really like that grave of a situation you know what I'm saying the victim is us all it's all of us for

  • 31:55

this [ __ ] listen man I'll never get these hours back that we spent on this [ __ ] [ __ ] charade show we called

  • 32:04

it [ __ ] early so we save some time we just have fun with it but we called it [ __ ] but the victim they they

  • 32:10

like are they playing some type of game with the pup with the public I see neo wrote wrote out some long apology to

  • 32:16

Jessie like shut the [ __ ] up neo really

  • 32:23

apologize let me tell you what Neil said I didn't know neo-soul vigilant neo said

  • 32:31

I wouldn't be real but come on Neil hey

  • 32:44

Neil said I wouldn't be real if I didn't admit that I almost let them convince me

  • 32:51

of something my spirit was telling me was wrong let me stop right there your

  • 32:56

spirit could be wrong too you need to

  • 33:01

stop misusing day it was just you two did this [ __ ] there's no day there's no

  • 33:07

I get it I get it I know the agenda against black entertainers get him out no that is not applicable here Neil he

  • 33:16

went on to say I haven't known Jesse Summerlin for an incredibly long time nor did we

  • 33:22

get to spend an awful lot of time together but in the time we did he

  • 33:28

proved to be a genuine guy not cloud hungry not even on that celebrity [ __ ] just real and regular folks passionate

  • 33:35

about his craft when the story came out something in my soul would not let me

  • 33:41

condemn this man seemed like everyone was real quick to crucify and make memes and poke fun I was anxious for answers

  • 33:56

about this because the [ __ ] just didn't feel right but I admit we understand

  • 34:01

that part Neil I almost did allow myself to get caught up in the storm and I feel

  • 34:13

much shame for this the lesson here for me is to never ignore my spirit even if

  • 34:21

the whole world is telling me otherwise no Jesse Smollett I apologize to you my

  • 34:28

brother for almost allowing media and the things being said around me to make

  • 34:34

me go against what my heart and soul was screaming at me this situation doesn't

  • 34:40

make sense not with who you know him to be or even period I'm happy that for once justice was on the right side blessings

  • 34:48

and prayers and strength to you bro and when I see you again I will say this to your face I see why he's got somebody

  • 34:53

hit songs it's a good writer very passionate missin dependent part two

  • 35:05

give us a record but but I see it but i but I see a few people that feel like

  • 35:10

this hey let me be clear like I said before I'll say it again I was never on the side of the police in this I was

  • 35:16

never just listening to police believing what police say I'm black right but you

  • 35:21

can hear when one and one just don't make three so anyway so just see when he

  • 35:26

went low he traded in some community service on March 23rd and March 25th now

  • 35:33

I don't remember if it was four hours a day or eight hours but he gave us some hours he forfeited his ten thousand

  • 35:39

dollars which was ten percent of the $100,000 bail and there you have it

  • 35:44

Pierce the mayor of Chicago has since has sent some done uh done press saying

  • 35:52

I can't believe that we let this [ __ ] off the hook he's guilty as a [ __ ] and this is a slap in the face of justice

  • 35:57

but somebody else is picking up the UH the the I don't [ __ ] know if I never

  • 36:03

hear the name Jesse smile he know his real name Mathilda stood the the head of

  • 36:08

the lieutenant PD whatever did you know the black dude from the Chicago PD he he did for us and said yo this is some

  • 36:15

[ __ ] we should have went forward what I'm telling y'all is the right and beyond the wall like there are levels these

  • 36:22

departments it's not the cop actually the cop threw it right on the state attorney yeah yeah they proved it right

  • 36:28

there so we know what's going on and for those of you that don't my lawyer told

  • 36:33

me a long time ago when I went to court to fight a case that I thought was a slam dunk cuz I had everything that I

  • 36:39

would need in court so I thought I would save the few grand and not calling my lawyer but I went and I lost and my

  • 36:45

lawyer said listen lawyers are lawyers not because of what they do but because

  • 36:51

of who they know of course period and once you understand that you just knew you just nothing if nothing is shocking

  • 36:57

here you know I don't have a tank I am super super happy that this kid is not going to jail I didn't think he deserved

  • 37:03

to go to jail for a lion and trying to get an increase in pay at his job and trying to die with the lie and then

  • 37:09

still dying with the light we all have it we all have died with a lot like I'm not trying to crucify them for still

  • 37:15

dying with the lie I don't think you need to get up there and do a presser up and come forward and tell us what really happened

  • 37:22

we know what really happened we know what happened yeah but it's just unfortunate because there's a lot of people in the same situation that would

  • 37:28

have went to jail that's what's unfortunate you know they're not a celebrity because they're

  • 37:34

not gay because they don't have the relationships that you know he has like

  • 37:39

that's why it's unfortunate well no and not saying I don't want anybody to go to jail front especially no dumb [ __ ] like that but it's just that we have to look

  • 37:46

at the field do you think that that's a crime that is frequently results in jail time false police reports I feel like

  • 37:54

that's something that's usually resolved by like community service and [ __ ] I'm not saying that like again I mean I

  • 38:00

didn't I don't want him to go to jail I thought right he would have put him in jail because he's a black man right you know it's like getting the charges

  • 38:08

dropped you got to stop saying drop that because the charges are dropped didn't know that's the case files are

  • 38:16

sealed closed I thought I said the charges withdrawn no I mean everybody NC

  • 38:21

charges dropped and how could the charges be dropped if you've already handed in your community service and forfeited your bill so it can't be

  • 38:28

dropped so these words and these terminologies are very important then that drop he accepted a plea hmm and he

  • 38:37

did it that is not a presumption of innocence that is I tried some [ __ ]

  • 38:44

failed I pissed off a Chicago PD they got mad reacted and I had to go above

  • 38:51

their head so we can get this [ __ ] thrown out because that's all this was I see some people saying that of course he

  • 38:57

was in a fit of course he was innocent once the Chicago Police tainted the jury pool and tried their case and tried

  • 39:06

their case to the public there was no way he would get an unfair an objective trial shut the [ __ ] up shut the [ __ ] was

  • 39:13

he innocent of though they keep saying he's innocent what they're saying they're saying he's in it they're saying

  • 39:19

he's innocent of Carabas coming up coming up with this story that now

  • 39:26

paying the brothers to beat them up that's what they're saying he's innocent of him concocting all of

  • 39:33

this he's sticking by the story of I was really attacked even though they surveyed hundreds of hours of

  • 39:38

surveillance footage and never found these two white dudes but when you get a good lawyer see they changed that white dude [ __ ] quick they no longer saying I

  • 39:45

was attacked he was attacked by two white dudes now they're saying he was viciously attacked by two people see

  • 39:53

it's real easy to just get off get get off that they never really had they never really had that much you would've

  • 40:00

get my black guy that's 20 years for Friday they didn't have too much once the two brothers was on his side and you

  • 40:07

know they care about the dude so they honest I had dudes with brothers on their side in the case guess what you

  • 40:12

got to go season that was Jesse's next move bleach all over you Empire

  • 40:24

man listen what bleachy all over me and he was still on the loose I wouldn't be

  • 40:30

i never rush to get back to the set empire what color do you wear lee daniels commercial very funny maybe

  • 40:38

that's like his new [ __ ] anytime I get backdoored thought they killed him off mm-hmm of course not cool my horse

  • 40:45

Empire is gonna bring him back absolutely and of course there's gonna they gonna make it a thing yeah Hollywood and the car I never believed

  • 40:52

none of this [ __ ] I just don't I'm all for Justin if I never hear that name again it'll be too far I didn't hear his name

  • 40:58

Hortis I really didn't even know his name before I'm not talking about Jesse no more on the show yeah I'm cool I'm promise you I'm not just ban that single

  • 41:04

drop tomorrow it's coming kupaka that's

  • 41:11

what's gonna be called cool pop back that be finessed them [ __ ] be finessed

  • 41:17

amazed and walk right to the podium I don't know if it ain't attendance Vanessa you know what paying the ten to ten

  • 41:24

stacks a little lightweight 10/10 piece Daniels come with you just a little Tim peace form lately this [ __ ] still got

  • 41:32

Lee Daniels prints all over to me cause my cat the ring watching I'm not

  • 41:38

watching him bar I wasn't watching you never wanted I wasn't watching it but I wasn't publicly telling people now I'm tell me I'm not watching I've never seen

  • 41:46

an episode of that [ __ ] um if we wrapped up John I'm done with Josie unless y'all have some more just the odds I swear I

  • 41:52

don't know I'm cool I'm all Jessie though yeah I'm Jessica I'm Jessie doubt - all right

  • 41:57

what else we got what else we got all right so for some reason uh Maul

  • 42:03

came in like anxious mmm else that

  • 42:10

anxieties getting to you now very rarely does Maul come in here and say hey I can't wait for your opinion on this

  • 42:16

topic but that's exactly what happened today launch you Phil Phil our audience they know exactly what you're talking

  • 42:21

about oh well cardi old IG lives or something

  • 42:27

I believe the lava some years ago get more than all his bliss he's getting right into the monologue with Nicki

  • 42:35

mm-hm and her boyfriend so they came they they went one wagon you know pulled

  • 42:41

up Oh Todd you live up and she made a statement saying she had to do things in the past and to make money and she

  • 42:48

drugged men and robbed them and you know which is now in this climate no doesn't that's like whoa you did what

  • 42:56

so I just want to know what your opinion was on which on what she said like how

  • 43:01

do you feel about her Robin while drugging and then robbing men but what does it matter I feel because you were

  • 43:08

you looking to hear like my opinion on this only because you're a huge cardi supporter as I am - don't call me huge

  • 43:15

again okay you're already supported I

  • 43:23

don't support cardi mom you are not a huge car to support but if cool tell me I'm not you got a show to do we're doing

  • 43:30

a show how am I not a car T supporter you're not a huge support I think with this car D supporter had it barred a party I don't I'm not going to hold your

  • 43:37

[ __ ] like that but I'm happy for a success I'm happy for everything which is my friend from a huge supporters okay well I don't go to her shows and all

  • 43:43

that type she's not mean I'm just saying out I'm happy for a success you are too and then so I just want to know how you

  • 43:48

felt about know what she said on a live Wow but why do I have to feel something about

  • 43:53

everything like I know I'm not ever gonna feel nothing you throw something about hurry everything else she's done

  • 44:00

so this is one master class I'm

  • 44:11

reserving my feelings until I see everybody else's feelings on the table I'll get to how I feel I have no agenda

  • 44:20

here because I I'm not a vendor for Atlantic Records mmm

  • 44:26

distributions I didn't get a 1099 from them this year we got that joke out with

  • 44:33

me how do you feel about this seriously she was a stress that's what strippers

  • 44:41

do not all of them but men's a common thing that happens when people are in the sex world and before we say no no

  • 44:51

see that's why I have a problem with that though because if it was reversed and she was the stripper and the man

  • 44:58

drugged her and Rob her he's that guy she's in the sex world right or wrong if it were no first why did you say it was

  • 45:04

right or wrong I just said it's a very common thing so I wasn't thrown back when she's right or wrong for doing it

  • 45:11

she's wrong okay that's fair yes of course because we've seen these

  • 45:21

situations before with men in Maine are canceled they're thrown in jail so I'm doing the I'm just asking I'm with you

  • 45:28

yeah if it was if roles reversed no all

  • 45:36

right let's bug out Texas okay would you say we go it was all good we did about

  • 45:47

Joe that's okay so so what do you think Joe about what about this honestly yeah all right come on let's talk about

  • 45:53

enough y'all [ __ ] what I think what I just think it's interesting to watch like when the smoke when the heat is not

  • 45:58

on you it is interesting to watch the heat build so let me start there because this can't

  • 46:05

this is surviving Karthi hashtag that is the real hashtag how many survivors are

  • 46:11

    there revealed this surviving kardi

  • 46:18

hashtag they've been they've been pumping it up for a few days but over the weekend and that's why I love when

  • 46:23

canceled culture tries to cancel some on a weekend cuz we be be on the weekend yeah but Monday oh my god so Monday came

  • 46:33

more and sure enough [ __ ] went to work and said I'm canceling cardi so I laugh

  • 46:38

I laugh at that they do think that that's kind of funny now and again I don't don't think she should be canceled

  • 46:44

I'm not I'm not saying that I'm just looking at the landscape of when a man

  • 46:50

does something versus if a woman does something but I think that's such a like prehistoric argument because by now we

  • 46:58

should have come to the conclusion that double standards exist yeah it's particularly tricky when it's all illegal the whole thing is right

  • 47:09

every there's no part about dying that was legal to begin with she's a sex worker and that stripper [ __ ] stripping

  • 47:14

she was selling ass and I think that if

  • 47:20

normal working-class middle-class culture were aware of all the things that were to happen amidst sex workers

  • 47:28

and their customers I think you'd be a bulb we're gonna start canceling rappers that were drug dealers and doing wild

  • 47:34

[ __ ] I think I think you'd be taken aback I listen ironically a few people hit me tomorrow gonna bet you gonna

  • 47:39

leave cardio long-cooked alone cuz of your Atlantic connections a quite the contrary I do have a beef with cardi but

  • 47:45

it's not about this hmm I do have a major issue with wit cardi and it's not

  • 47:51

about this you're gonna reveal that in the podcast reveal it so curious about

  • 47:56

the beats marks that you guys are real wisenheimers mom my beef is not with cardi san a as a sex worker I used to

  • 48:03

drug and Rob men as someone who's frequented those establishments

  • 48:09

I'm aware and most of us in New York are aware did that happen are you a victim no okay

  • 48:15

I'm not no we're here for you well you could talk about it it's a safe space no you can't cuz Rick Ross said the same

  • 48:20

exact thing and lost all types of endorsements so no you can't go so I

  • 48:26

won't but Rick Ross has never been as big as cardi B in his entire career very

  • 48:32

true so what does that mean it means that right this second Rick Ross's thing was

  • 48:39

a little different though how I mean when you get down to it not really how well he was drugging with the intent to

  • 48:46

rape parks you don't know what its intent was what his barks told nobody I

  • 48:54

thought that was what the lyric was the lyric was I put Molly all your drinks you ain't even know it so we don't know what is intentional okay there's a file

  • 49:00

that's that's date rape yeah another part of the bar that I think may speak to a part Parks is talking about which

  • 49:05

one which something about taking it and she ain't even know it I'm not gonna

  • 49:11

play the record but that's date rape that that's all of this is wrong like

  • 49:18

drugging someone unbeknownst is wrong like no it is all wrong but more my

  • 49:24

thing is this this is where I have a few issues here and I didn't get to my issue

  • 49:29

with Carter yet but my few issues are you know the the [ __ ] fans are so

  • 49:35

fickle and and when I like to do audience research and when things like this happen is such a great time to do

  • 49:41

audience research because cardi has been ratchet and when I say ratchet I'm being kind for a long time we've been we we

  • 49:51

know yes cuz we've seen it we've been here but so none of this [ __ ] is a

  • 49:56

surprise and all of that ratchet [ __ ] all of that I don't know how to talk all that y'all thought that she was cute

  • 50:03

y'all thought it was cute and when the music matched y'all loved it had not a

  • 50:08

problem with anything anything at all however now and I said this a while ago

  • 50:14

[ __ ] don't want one day we gonna pull this [ __ ] up the music ain't mansion nothing about the music's ratchet

  • 50:21

I'm correlating this no one else the music some of them some well it ain't no na it's all features it's all features

  • 50:28

nothing that she is released since her last album her debut album heard [ __ ] I get

  • 50:35

what you're saying I'm saying she's still putting out ratchet verses is what I'm saying that don't speak to my point that's the same thing nikki was doing

  • 50:41

when she went pop that's the same thing that's been done a million times you still can please your cool giving the

  • 50:47

gangsta verses over here on somebody else [ __ ] but now my shooters gonna say I cringe when I hear that Bruno Mars

  • 50:52

song came on the radio today please shut the [ __ ] up it's too polished

  • 50:58

too clean she could barely talk but now y'all giving her singing brick what is the mood is for I'm a little late upset

  • 51:06

the [ __ ] up so what do you know the music is polished and now all of a

  • 51:11

sudden the audience is polished mmm we are we are the ratchet where is the

  • 51:16

ratchet audience that propelled her to stardom hmm where are y'all and why don't I hear from y'all right now why

  • 51:23

does it seem like it's all these other people that's now speaking for whatever the [ __ ] cardi is doing is that where's

  • 51:30

her audience I don't know where it is now stars dark orb maybe the core ratchet

  • 51:38

audience she not here from but how does the court wretched audience doesn't give a [ __ ] they know that that's who she is

  • 51:43

no so they're not gonna speak about it let's let's when you become a superstar of course other people are gonna speak

  • 51:48

to it but let's read tag this let's benchmark this because I got a circle back here when I do get to my beef with

  • 51:55

her actually I'll get to my beef with her now my beef is in the other video the other videos every surface where she

  • 52:03

said uh ladies cheating is not the only way to get back at the cheating dude oh

  • 52:09

oh with the training yeah get would a [ __ ] drug drug him up real good

  • 52:15

and she had you say uh him she said y'all me I take she take something he takes him drug him up real good and then

  • 52:21

have a [ __ ] come in there and bomb now you wake up y'all know what's going on you [ __ ] the Trinity is yeah I didn't

  • 52:29

see that was she's saying it in a joking manner no she was dead serious that was her strategy how can you I can't prove

  • 52:35

you can't prove it wasn't a casting she wasn't laughing

  • 52:41

so and listen and somewhere in there that that Trent your that shaming of the

  • 52:49

transgender community I feel like and and I bunched I feel like a lot of gay

  • 52:54

people follow cardi B and listen to cardi B's music for sure so that's a little off there so that blend it wit

  • 53:02

because men's rights men's rights that's nuts men have right that's nuts no we don't

  • 53:09

okay no we don't okay no I know that I was just asking you see so far we've

  • 53:14

gone from Jessie and gate Jessie and gay privilege and now cardi with whatever

  • 53:20

privilege you want women's woman's privilege but but yo anybody that was

  • 53:26

oppressed is super privileged except for black men I said doesn't except for

  • 53:33

black men but anyway my beef is in all of that and her apology in her apology where she says she starts on my culture

  • 53:41

mm-hmm yo rappers rap about XYZ nobody know why does this I'm open about my

  • 53:48

past so hides no no no actually they did back in the 90s there was a whole thing with the FBI trying to actually let me

  • 53:54

call the industry reps the music super gore adored oh yeah like so no did there

  • 53:59

was there was some backlash for those lyrics yeah that's where the stick of Iser here's the apostrophe let's read it

  • 54:05

so I'm seeing on social media that alive I did three years ago is popped back up alive where I talked about things I had

  • 54:11

to do on my past right or wrong and I felt I felt I needed to do to make a living I never claimed to be perfect or

  • 54:17

come from a perfect world with a perfect pass I always speak my truth I always on my [ __ ] I'm a part of hip-hop culture

  • 54:22

where you can talk about where you come from talk about wrong things you had to do wrong things you had to do to get where

  • 54:29

you are stop right there I actually know let's not stop right there there are rappers that glorify

  • 54:34

murder violence drugs Robin bluff above XYZ all of this is where my beef is just last week I was having a whole

  • 54:40

conversation about all of this this new wave the acts that keep reminding us that they don't give a [ __ ] about the

  • 54:46

culture at all that's where my issue is you [ __ ] got to pick a side of the

  • 54:51

fence ladies included no they pick this up fam if you in it

  • 54:58

for the money I applaud you get it but don't bounce back to culture when your

  • 55:05

money is threatened throw it throw a lot of people under the bus she don't coach what is he talking

  • 55:12

about right but not talking about right now she's wrong in this it's all wrong

  • 55:17

it's all wrong all of it is wrong yeah this is an apology well actually if

  • 55:24

you know nobody that's why I said I cook I couldn't believe she posted it that's why I actually did she really post that

  • 55:29

well she posted it I mean I don't know she wrote it no she didn't write there so so that's where my beef is my beef is

  • 55:36

in people using the culture as a shield when they're when their coin is

  • 55:41

threatened not a new move yes first month in United that whatever sex

  • 55:48

workers are doing that's not the hill I'm on yeah um so my thing is this so so

  • 55:55

now what happens nothing probably no nothing unless Pepsi says so nothing

  • 56:03

unless Netflix says so nothing unless fashion Nova says so nothing unless

  • 56:09

Atlantic says so nothing unless anybody that's in bed getting money with cardi

  • 56:15

unless they say so and today there's a lot of people getting money with cardi and they're getting a lot of money so so

  • 56:22

these up the uproar has to continue to grow a lot louder before I believe one of these companies to say no and let me

  • 56:28

be clear and I don't see that happening I don't wish it to happen yeah I'm not looking I'm not looking for that to

  • 56:34

happen yeah I don't know I'm not let me be clean that that's not what I'm saying and I don't think it happened let me say

  • 56:40

I don't think it'll happen but all of that just walks right in the malls point of there's a double standard but listen

  • 56:47

like I've been telling people look no further than razz be if you need any evidence that double standard exists rants be is on that road having

  • 56:55

breakdown after [ __ ] breakdown I don't see it people about it yes if

  • 57:01

anything people just laugh laugh through that whole thing retrospect it's true like they got

  • 57:07

cloned for everything that they went through oh yeah but I mean they were like

  • 57:13

punchline but listen Rory cool cool I don't even harken back to that because

  • 57:19

    different time back then back then we laughed it [ __ ] laughed at crazy [ __ ] [ __ ] are not giving a [ __ ] today in

  • 57:25

the most sensitive era of all about this young black man who clearly has some

  • 57:31

type of psychological damage but and I ain't even get to all the rigors that come from being on the road now insert

  • 57:38

your friends that you ain't [ __ ] with in a whole lot of years now insert the fact that something that might be related to your accuser now throwing the

  • 57:45

fact that your accuser might still be getting money from the like I don't think raspbian just storming onstage

  • 57:50

because of a mic issue during the intro I don't believe that so that's what I'm saying more yes double standards exist

  • 57:57

as men we better know it we better know

  • 58:03

it yeah that's the best woman's job to fight for equality they fight for it

  • 58:08

where they want it hmm they want to keep someone who double standards goddamnit of course women I'm not hating don't

  • 58:15

misconstrue what I'm saying yeah please there's no woman in the room to tell me if I'm buggin right now ramming my

  • 58:20

bucket yeah you want to keep your double standards so my fingers maintenance

  • 58:26

that's why I have such a problem with the fake feminism [ __ ] cuz it's it's not feminism you're not looking for that

  • 58:32

like you're saying you're picking and choosing the things you want out of the whole buffet more or less right and

  • 58:38

saying I want that but now you keep the other [ __ ] that's why I don't ever respect the feminism [ __ ] that's on Twitter that's all about the real

  • 58:44

feminists like Twitter feminists who protects the heterosexual black man the

  • 58:50

Joe Budden pocket okay and we brought it

  • 58:56

on do a great job they keep trying to make me now not able to talk about black

  • 59:03

issues cuz Rory and Parks is here well Daniel Caesar did have a point I did see

  • 59:13

that that was a shitty apology oh the words apology yeah I don't think he's not apology no they do good in the podrace there

  • 59:20

yeah I'm sorry you know sorry you feel that way you not apologize when you really apologize when you're sincere when you just put not a state missile

  • 59:26

people to get off your back and all that other [ __ ] it's gonna sound stupid because you don't even mean that [ __ ] no

  • 59:32

you're not even really apologizing exactly just explaining something in a really bad way yo I'm sorry but yo look

  • 59:40

    button they're like I'm sorry but I meant all that [ __ ] yeah I mean that's

  • 59:46

horrible wording yeah those are the words I wanted to use yeah yeah

  • 59:52

but back to uh back to our surviving car D I can't believe that's a realize that

  • 1:00:00

that's crazy how many victims she asked well what should we do more tell it tell us what what well it's what we'd like to

  • 1:00:07

see happen there we go my thing it's not and it's not even to karti my thing is

  • 1:00:12

I'm just talking about again just the playing field like if if Bill Cosby is

  • 1:00:18

gonna be thrown in jail and I think that and and you wearing that on yo I think that's a horrible force force no no no

  • 1:00:26

I'm not trying to compare it I'm just saying I'm just just looking at what happened he should be thrown in jail yeah Bill Cosby was thrown in jail right

  • 1:00:33

say he date date raped put drugs and women's drinks and had sex with them

  • 1:00:39

cool cardi B was saying what she said no

  • 1:00:45

man came forward right and said anything in regards of cardi B but but no one

  • 1:00:52

said this happened but no here's the

  • 1:00:58

thing what what what heterosexual man is gonna come forward and admit that that happened to him from cardi B a

  • 1:01:10

heterosexual man is not gonna come forward and say yo she she drugged me and and robbed me look at it's not I'm

  • 1:01:16

not saying you shouldn't feel insecure happens but it's not gonna happen okay but then you also have to admit that

  • 1:01:23

you're purchasing sex which is illegal so you can't like come forward right

  • 1:01:29

because what you did was illegal no you can still come forward but a heterosexual man isn't gonna come nobody

  • 1:01:36

a man doesn't want his face to be attached it like I'm the one that she did she drugged and raped a little bit

  • 1:01:44

someone's definitely liable to come out be the viral virus of this the funny part my views my views on that and I

  • 1:01:50

know I'm a weirdo but yes it is illegal to purchase sex so he was purchasing sex

  • 1:01:56

she was a sex worker illegal should happen there I got it but [ __ ] I don't know why that's look

  • 1:02:05

bad as much worse as the guy that's leveraging his position of power or the

  • 1:02:11

woman that is leveraging her sex appeal to somebody she know she ain't trying to have sex with it's all that's all the

  • 1:02:16

same game of manipulation actually not that sex worker game because that's actually just a transaction yeah but

  • 1:02:24

you're not being drugged and that sounds naughty not just now being drugged aroused is not by the transaction you're

  • 1:02:30

not going into it thinking oh no well that's where it goes awry I'm saying going somewhere and purchasing something

  • 1:02:37

and then expecting to just exit right that is a transaction but very different

  • 1:02:44

from what's uh what's homeboys name was

  • 1:02:52

it Harvey Weinstein that was running around promising everybody in the world of rolling and doing freaky nasty [ __ ]

  • 1:02:57

that's different from like there's different cases of manipulation and people use what they think is

  • 1:03:04

incentivizing to other people to manipulate them and I'm not holding that

  • 1:03:09

in the same in the same stance as a transaction even though I do know the transaction is illegal let me make

  • 1:03:15

myself clear right yeah it's all nasty to me is what I'm saying it's all it's all nasty it's all

  • 1:03:20

    [ __ ] up I think we're I'm not super outraged I didn't know that the transgender thing that's that's nuts but

  • 1:03:26

is the bad thing here the drugging part like what she just pulled a gun out and robbed somebody are we getting hung up on it because

  • 1:03:33

they're being drugged the method she's just robbing people no she's drugging people and robbing

  • 1:03:38

people so what if she just pulled a gun out in the motel and said give me all your [ __ ] is still we even having this conversation

  • 1:03:44

used to put a gun in her face and took his [ __ ] no let me know I totally disagree with you all more if it's not

  • 1:03:50

wrong if she did it no no it's it's all wrong what I'm saying of course everyone's plan is me and Moll consider

  • 1:03:56

and name a whole bunch of chicks that probably pulled a gun on a chick I mean on on a dude they used to be a thing and

  • 1:04:02

yeah but those conversations are not had they aren't had so this so to answer

  • 1:04:10

your question Rory no I don't think it would be in a hat it would be be had I think this is being add because of who

  • 1:04:15

she is but there's a bunch of New York strippers that have robbed [ __ ]

  • 1:04:21

killed [ __ ] and nobody has said a word but that's why I said it dude is not

  • 1:04:27

gonna come forward and say that he was a victim it's not gonna happen do you think listen let's conclude here

  • 1:04:33

do you think that do you think that any of any other businesses or corporations that are in bed with cardi are leaving

  • 1:04:40

today no great alright I think that like you said if it gains team

  • 1:04:45

yeah probably what I was about to I was at my next question what do you think needs to happen for something like that

  • 1:04:51

to happen how much steam do these allegations or the public outcry x' need

  • 1:04:56

to pick up before when these companies take notice and do something I gotta get the white lady's met victim would have

  • 1:05:05

to come forward yeah I'll be honest yeah cuz other man this is gonna be [ __ ] up

  • 1:05:12

say but it's too late but y'all be wanting to cancel some [ __ ] that is too late to cancel it's too late you

  • 1:05:18

can't wait til somebody is 20 million up right like these clips existed right

  • 1:05:30

yeah I just think that you know again I'm just trying I'm just looking at the

  • 1:05:35

field and I'm just trying to understand what's going on and you know how I was being played out because if men are

  • 1:05:42

being convicted and tried for certain things you know we're just trying it's just interesting to see if women

  • 1:05:49

will be convicted and trial for certain things that's all and again I'm not just not pop about cardi I'm just

  • 1:05:55

speaking in general I know but people can I want I want I want I really need people to stop talking about tried and

  • 1:06:02

convicted as if it's equivalent to right and wrong hmm because it's not because

  • 1:06:09

she's not tried because she died because she's not tried and charged they don't

  • 1:06:15

    mean it all of this [ __ ] ain't [ __ ] [ __ ] like that doesn't change if they're not trying if than that charge nurse it's a

  • 1:06:22

million some million reasons why that could be but that don't make the [ __ ] any less less wrong right and as much as

  • 1:06:29

much as uh this is gonna dominate the conversation for the week Frawley with this sex worker drug and dude [ __ ] I'm

  • 1:06:38

really not all for that that how you how do you that he's new people just totally

  • 1:06:43

pick up pick up and use the culture card when they feel like it like I'm not off of that this is it's nasty it's nasty to

  • 1:06:50

me but I know if you don't give a [ __ ] and it's just me so I got it um what

  • 1:06:56

else what else is happening in the universe what else is important out there oh the mental health rollout is back the mental health rollout is bad it

  • 1:07:03

never left oh my god no what it left they just hit the snooze button or didn't even snooze button it's been here

  • 1:07:10

but come on y'all come on it's a

  • 1:07:17

slippery slope Joe because some people really do have mental health issues yeah so we can never say like people are

  • 1:07:22

using it for rollout because what is it

  • 1:07:34

wrong if they really have mental health issues fam that's all I'm asking is it

  • 1:07:39

wrong if somebody really has an issue and they're just publicly stating that and and just giving you insight on what

  • 1:07:45

they deal with alright my response to you is I think it's corny but you do not any anyway it's there is no right or

  • 1:07:52

wrong there's no right or wrong I'm not the right or wrong police the mental

  • 1:07:57

health rollout seems to be working yeah like there is no right or wrong what I'm saying is this really worked

  • 1:08:05

for huh how's it work for who it didn't something large just wanna think it's

  • 1:08:10

just so logic on one straightening and Sally

  • 1:08:19

he's now becoming any more random party with a whole new white girl and I look

  • 1:08:24

up while I'm eating even brunch or some [ __ ] today and logic is on it and I got [ __ ] pissed at the TV just said

  • 1:08:33

that's the only artist I've seen but I'm pissed at the TV because he used to name

  • 1:08:40

of his song all these [ __ ] don't never mark it in urban spaces but but this is

  • 1:08:46

the urban space oh it's a whole bunch of them that just you would never know they

  • 1:08:53

had a album coming if you're just looking at urban faces that's true its horrable yeah I listen when I fight is

  • 1:09:00

youth this YouTube livestream up I'm gonna really start talking about some of this [ __ ] this [ __ ] is egregious what

  • 1:09:07

they're doing like and and away my mind obsesses over this hip-hop [ __ ] I have a

  • 1:09:12

million reasons to why that's happening I could tie that logic on on Strahan and savage hit right into this cardi [ __ ]

  • 1:09:20

right into this justice [ __ ] hmm not now - um back to uh the mental health

  • 1:09:26

rollout let's talk about it you haven't seen this is what I'm saying to you mall if somebody has a mental health issue

  • 1:09:33

then you have you have mental health issues you have mental health problems and Who am I to say that you can't have

  • 1:09:39

them into a health problem and release a song the next day what I'm saying is it's not it it's it's a little difficult

  • 1:09:46

to totally concentrate on your mental health issues when you release a song

  • 1:09:52

the next day as an as a musician you not even asking me to pay attention to your

  • 1:09:59

mental health issues when you release the song the next day that's what I'm saying the - continuing to be coupled

  • 1:10:06

together hey listen let me ask y'all a question who is talk more about mental health and

  • 1:10:13

rap than me answer it don't answer it

  • 1:10:18

the next question is this when do y'all ever see me do it when did y'all ever hear me just talk say any any

  • 1:10:26

speech interview anything like it about mental health defend it the two just don't go together but

  • 1:10:34

that's cool because roll out however the [ __ ] you want to roll out ain't on me and my [ __ ] bum ass boy I was smoking

  • 1:10:43

with that Shawn [ __ ] when I said I'm my own man Shaunie okay though

  • 1:10:48

this explains it all right since Jimmy's getting bigger you've been low in la's doing push-ups dunking on a crane I

  • 1:10:55

don't know what he's doing he's hanging oh is that Rocky I don't know what's happening he start talking I'm like oh man damn maybe I've been too hard on him

  • 1:11:04

like damn if he was going through things and I did not felt like a piece of [ __ ] right and in the very next day a snippet

  • 1:11:11

drops and the snippet drops and it's him telling me now about how [ __ ] up he's

  • 1:11:17

been mentally and always been going through which is great which is great therapy could be get it out talk about

  • 1:11:25

it cuz you use music as therapy right it happens but I do see what you're saying

  • 1:11:33

using it as a roll out is kind of like is it a mental health thing for real or are you just trying to are you just

  • 1:11:40

realizing that everyone's focused on mental health now right now it's the great key is a mental health wave just

  • 1:11:46

like it's a feminist wave there's a lot of waves that people are just attaching themselves to and there's such sensitive

  • 1:11:54

waves that we will never ever know who's who's has married and who is just

  • 1:11:59

attaching themselves to a trend that's why it's kind of bullet proof because who are you to question someone's mental health Jo but no but that's the thing

  • 1:12:07

Rory I would never have why would you say that yeah I would never question someone's mental health I'm gonna

  • 1:12:13

question the music that follows it I am because don't tell me to concentrate on

  • 1:12:19

music when I'm concentrating on your health and your well-being how can I do both somebody tell me well I'm open to

  • 1:12:26

being wrong what else is like I guess that's what he's tying in mental health into his music I guess all these

  • 1:12:33

    [ __ ] Def Jam acts are struggling huh that's what I think they're all having a

  • 1:12:39

hard time because they all left on a [ __ ] island by itself because don't nobody up there know what the [ __ ]

  • 1:12:45

they're doing which forces [ __ ] to be on their own who's on Def Jam I'm gonna walk up I

  • 1:12:50

don't even know who I bet yeah none of my business it's none of my business good music is really it's none of my business focus on okay well yeah logic

  • 1:13:00

is the only [ __ ] seen on Strahan and Sarah there's a straight Hannah's hair Oh siren strange whoever the [ __ ] it is

  • 1:13:06

to change the song his daughter buy a crate great his idea his own [ __ ] big

  • 1:13:12

sean is doing whatever the [ __ ] he let these [ __ ] ain't on straying and Sarah

  • 1:13:18

that's true these auntie's got to do whatever the [ __ ] they got to do again I'm not accusing anybody of anything but

  • 1:13:24

somebody tell me how I can concentrate on your mental health and your single which one should I care about well their

  • 1:13:31

goal is not for you to do so and that's why it's a little fake I'm not saying it's my shoulders in general their goal

  • 1:13:37

is just to get you to pay attention to them and while I have your attention here's my soul you know what I know is gonna get your attention the thing

  • 1:13:42

everyone is talking about now apparently about mental health as well oh god John

  • 1:13:47

    says yeah okay no I'll give Shawn some mental it's a [ __ ] [ __ ] what you just

  • 1:14:13

went to a breakup I've seen you want counters when you was having a mental health issue yeah you know me but I do

  • 1:14:25

understand what you know and again listen I wanted to come in here today and say yo up he stood up with Shawn

  • 1:14:31

that's what I do want to come in here say until that [ __ ] leaked that song next day and he was flowing who's gonna

  • 1:14:38

you can run your Karev walk we can [ __ ] wrap this shut the [ __ ] up and

  • 1:14:44

just rap we won't get to that back back to that shut up to the rafters just rappin hey

  • 1:14:49

anytime [ __ ] was [ __ ] up with thought out and that was a lot of the time and the boys got together no he said yo man

  • 1:14:55

let's just wrap any time we wrap good things happen yeah but come on you know what arrow we attack UK just rap that's

  • 1:15:02

not an arrow we hit us now that's like the least most important part is right like wrappings over here you can you

  • 1:15:07

gotta do some [ __ ] you know yes no no no no no see and that's where we need clear distinctions know what you saying is

  • 1:15:14

applicable I think to the generation under you the lilz all these Internet [ __ ] [ __ ] all dead they need to do

  • 1:15:21

all that [ __ ] if Drake put a song out tomorrow we listening what's not safe Cole put the song out tomorrow unfair

  • 1:15:28

pardon me guys don't take insurance and stop me when I lie yeah we're listening if Kendrick does it

  • 1:15:34

we're listening there's a few Nick Sean is one of those people you don't [ __ ] have to do it I agree with you there

  • 1:15:41

he's not one of people that has to do it but he could just come man we heard this bigger rap in ages all he gotta do is

  • 1:15:48

come and kill it it's different though in this time [ __ ] moves so quicker he's been quiet for so long bed quality where

  • 1:15:55

he did he did he's just about mental well it's just here his mental oh he did rap check this out on Instagram just put

  • 1:16:02

out a clip don't worry about I got true just mute as music coming I mean this music coming for sure no no no more I know it's music coming you

  • 1:16:10

ain't got to tell me music coming goddamn it [ __ ] is you talking about

  • 1:16:15

this music you wait for Shawn [ __ ] yeah I'm waiting on this goddammit dope or you gonna get some

  • 1:16:21

music and see that's doesn't no no no cut this [ __ ] make it this is the [ __ ] idea that's nothing I'm not buying it

  • 1:16:27

you think your nail F Shawn while you was mentally ill janae yes we're in the

  • 1:16:33

flower dress yeah the halter top made out of leaves yeah drinking the chamomile I see we know it

  • 1:16:39

don't [ __ ] your back it alright I see what you go in stop no I'm with you I don't ever take that off

  • 1:16:47

go with it but hit my thing is what if what if now janae comes on and says

  • 1:16:52

that's part of their breakup because she couldn't help this [ __ ] like he was really dealing with some [ __ ] and she

  • 1:16:58

couldn't get don't think she did said and first of all her last dude if he was the last album he was high as [ __ ]

  • 1:17:03

losing his mind and janae got the [ __ ] out of there no no all right she divorced her husband cuz he was while

  • 1:17:09

enough dude he's crazy I can't do you know much [ __ ] turmoil and abuse she was dead before she left him she was in

  • 1:17:16

a like a champ she was bare can't gave us some of the best music we ever heard that's going

  • 1:17:22

through that abuse so why believe that she left Shawn while you Leslie is fine

  • 1:17:27

can he be depressed from the break-up

  • 1:17:37

    [Laughter]

  • 1:17:56

shiny the curl [ __ ] mixed they called up a Fabio

  • 1:18:09

I know y'all love Shawn I know y'all love Shawn Michelle can defend this you would not be mentally ill and invite a

  • 1:18:16

rocket to the square no I wouldn't invite him if I was happy actually if

  • 1:18:21

I'm depressed [ __ ] I want to be around that [ __ ] that's like a party they go rocky rocky would have the whole yeah

  • 1:18:26

you to press that'll help you bring some chicks dude man [ __ ] it let's have a party invite rocky to the square

  • 1:18:32

Shirley wrapped in four years on the first call he make for the studios for Rocky to come through yeah bring the

  • 1:18:38

vibes bring the vibes he just put an album out it Big Sean put out album a

  • 1:18:44

year and a half ago so then I didn't count no he did not yes he did December of 2017 he put out

  • 1:18:50

an album with Metro boomin yes I put out an album in the mid all that Kanye [ __ ] yeah that's good and it was a

  • 1:18:56

but it got caught up in that storm yeah it was a really good but I don't count

  • 1:19:08

that Metro [ __ ] I don't think any of them liked it oh all right so you naega Stan Stan was showing I'm staying was

  • 1:19:14

showing man I'm just saying let us keep an eye on it cuz we need to hit truth is engineers record the truth is engine is

  • 1:19:20

wrecking right now it sends your name

  • 1:19:28

face them in the [ __ ] [ __ ] did you see that picture did you see the picture now now [ __ ] the water no water she was

  • 1:19:35

in the bed now no she was [ __ ] miserable in the ward I'm doing this who do I mention Indian style in a hoodie

  • 1:19:42

hair tied back mad knobs in there the

  • 1:19:47

engineer working her writing Darden you ready to catch him fam stop [ __ ]

  • 1:19:55

  • 1:20:07

interesting to hear Janae's record that's all I'm saying I'm looking forward to both well be we

  • 1:20:12

kind of hurry Shaun's already emeritus first we heard his first balls after the breakup picture rolling [ __ ]

  • 1:20:21

huh take that mental health fam you got

  • 1:20:28

to tell me he was suffering from mental health and left janae to go hang out with Ariana and in the [ __ ] Maybach today look sad and it may be back not he

  • 1:20:35

looked at he had a great come on come on oh and awesome time great Thompson and wait didn't we we heard somebody went

  • 1:20:41

back to your ex when you were depressed yes and she's going through some [ __ ] to come on they get me to press together

  • 1:20:47

right can I get the press sandwich well

  • 1:20:55

that's all I've for 30 years and to answer you Rory when I went back to my

  • 1:21:01

ex and I was sad and depressed I look like it I look like I was having a great joy I didn't look desirable she wasn't

  • 1:21:07

trying to get back with me not make sure do not be sure you big pump big difference they showing

  • 1:21:12

a big showing way big now yeah sweet a

  • 1:21:20

de bâle that you [ __ ] shoot the [ __ ] you like bore I've never met Shauna damn my life you came in here all all pumped

  • 1:21:27

up trying to get big pump out to paint or no cardi on the cardi hit on the cardi he'll do worry wasn't gonna get it

  • 1:21:37

no no I really honestly worry keeps trying to book Big Sean no honestly for

  • 1:21:43

me I'm just like to admit my body he's looking crazy but I'm just like it's just it's still too soon to just jump on

  • 1:21:51

it that's my that's not me I'm stealing walls answer I always just got to hear the music that's what I'm that's why you

  • 1:21:56

need to hear music when someone is mentally cuz you don't give us you don't give us enough of his person fire Shawn

  • 1:22:06

yeah you got it this is the most what if he drops a whole album aside fire sad fire is the

  • 1:22:13

best musical that's the best fire and sapphires a great stone if you do that

  • 1:22:20

again man then now you want to get on the sad fire wave no don't get on the

  • 1:22:26

sad fire wave now I know Joe is just mad that everyone there's a wave though mall

  • 1:22:31

cuz I know people do it who does it it has to be a way to fire the process been

  • 1:22:39

away for a while I see own cry like that type of style

  • 1:22:45

but not a lot of artists are doing it that's why I'm saying it's not a wacom alright enough of you tell me tell me if

  • 1:22:51

there was a mental health issues going on when this record was happening this is a happy soul she was she was sad and

  • 1:22:59

then she met Sean and she's happy I don't think no don't think ever those chords are a little sad low melancholy a

  • 1:23:06

    little bit melancholy I hate y'all a

  • 1:23:13

little bittersweet yeah it's like a departure record it's like we know it's bitter but it tastes good welcome to the

  • 1:23:20

gate you first hit on the flight and realize I'm Lee I'm not check this out Sean all that rapping [ __ ] you did was cool that was

  • 1:23:27

great I'm so glad I'm able to read through industry smoke what's the name an igloo

  • 1:23:34

2088 yes who you got oh you got who's 88 yeah I was gonna say

  • 1:23:41

ma 88 was janae born 88 I think that's the thing I'm gonna Shawn being a DA you

  • 1:23:47

like to say things twice I think Shawn was born in 88 to us - Shawn is a yeah that's what I think janae is 20 I'm

  • 1:23:59

taking in this this is her field janae is going to smoke Big Sean nobody does

  • 1:24:10

fire like janae like Janette she does have a lot of sad fire I don't know but if Shawn gets on his no

  • 1:24:17

interview [ __ ] remember that record yeah Shawn was in his bag on that one yeah [Music]

  • 1:24:30

janae no stage with Shawn oh yeah you

  • 1:24:48

[ __ ] got jhene aiko aimbot no I'm rolling with unit no you only Shawn I said no no no J's barefooted she one

  • 1:25:00

just bill don't take big spear foot don't say barefooted grandma police

  • 1:25:08

grammar what's happening right now I

  • 1:25:20

want to read your something I don't I don't understand how uh damn wrong didn't know that was album here we go

  • 1:25:29

here we go goddamn it because janae chimed in you seen y'all talking what's he seeing

  • 1:25:35

me to say [ __ ] talking she read the vibes first readers Shanae knows what

  • 1:25:42

y'all are thinking even if you don't say it yeah she's our minds shoppers are

  • 1:25:48

aligned sure so she heard us thinking it went right to the gram and replied here

  • 1:25:54

it is I have it exclusively from Nagar mercury yes mr. grant exclusively from

  • 1:25:59

Instagram so she put up the picture right and she said oh the caption in

  • 1:26:04

picture tonight three new freestyle is complete 2019 speaking truth only you

  • 1:26:11

cannot control me that was a boss at the bar in the freeze on the picture in the studio now mine you it takes janae five

  • 1:26:19

years to finish three freestyle it

  • 1:26:26

sounds like a joke but I'm serious when you go to studio drink this as we did in one night it's like that that is that

  • 1:26:32

type of energy when it's smoke yeah three freestyle so some girls at hey Big

  • 1:26:39

Sean chief in a snitch mmm and janae said me and Sean are good I've got tons

  • 1:26:48

of love for him my next album is all free styles where I touch on many subjects and relationships past present

  • 1:26:54

and future I know you all love the drama and would like to thank everything I do or say is about him but I've been

  • 1:27:00

through plenty of other things and situations all that I pull inspiration from when I sit down to create a song

  • 1:27:05

have a good day wait hold on our whole album is the free stuff that's why I got

  • 1:27:11

Sean this is my gosh oh no I take it back you know what she gets in her freestyle bag that's like her version of

  • 1:27:16

Drake do your times Pookie ours is spooky our Dallas so now

  • 1:27:24

that I've read you janae telling us that nothing she's about to say is about Shawn and she pulls inspiration from all

  • 1:27:31

sorts of experiences past president future [ __ ] could you pick Sean he is about to

  • 1:27:39

kill Sean barks never heard comfort in freestyle listen first she told the stranger to have a good day

  • 1:27:44

oh wait wait wait wait hold up is she still hanging with homegirl from that freestyle that girl's name all the to

  • 1:27:50

mark if janae still talking to that person Chrissy Chrissy tells me everything that's my pitch she tells me

  • 1:27:59

every three Chrissy so Chrissy seems Shawn broke up cuz a Chrissy is a Chrissy yeah it's always a Chrissy

  • 1:28:05

because she was like that beauty and Essex I've seen them or I Lois is janae sook she know show him I got some heat

  • 1:28:12

coming that's why she's trying to hurry to do three freestyles of my night they know what's coming fam these pictures been being leaked all this all this

  • 1:28:18

[ __ ] that's going on like janae is like the queen of going away and chilling like janae don't care about

  • 1:28:26

this internet [ __ ] so the fact that right after Sean gave us his mental Health's bill and then dropped a little

  • 1:28:32

teaser for some [ __ ] on the same night janae just went to the studio took a beautiful picture with the engineer come

  • 1:28:38

on mol the writing's on the wall yes it

  • 1:28:49

was written it was written is gonna be read to and heard mixed y'all go get all

  • 1:28:54

that Ariana get some bars too [ __ ] you wouldn't [ __ ] you thought by me Ariana you know how she give it up she'd saw

  • 1:29:00

her leave you a girlfriend I'm bored she left and you damn oh you see how are we

  • 1:29:07

on to give it up now you leave your girlfriend on board yeah I mean yeah yeah criminal a kid

  • 1:29:14

like don't i don't know today when a full hour yeah because she giving it up from the muscle albums they listen i'll name

  • 1:29:21

my title my featherweight fight absolutely tension neighbors like

  • 1:29:26

featherweight bantamweight that bantamweight just wrong gonna need Ariana's help I'll tell you that much

  • 1:29:32

think so Shawn wants to zero problems with fam a woman scorned first of all

  • 1:29:37

you know if there's miffed that that's the strongest woman in the world there's a saying that's one to janae smokes so

  • 1:29:48

you know she went to the studio and self-medicated hmm imagine what them with a mind was going

  • 1:29:53

with that one thing Ariana smokes - hmm Alton a got way better I was going to say I think so today cool the Crips

  • 1:30:00

assuming it's cool with TD she had a

  • 1:30:06

corrupt voicemail on her she got the

  • 1:30:13

pack she got the pack I ain't she smokes papers yeah it's over it's over Shawn nothing in that little message said

  • 1:30:20

actually everything in the message said hey everything that I'm about to say is directly related to what happened

  • 1:30:26

between Shawn and I and I'm talking to him by the way if you're not able to

  • 1:30:31

interpret that type of stuff have a good day good music

  • 1:30:38

  • 1:34:06

didn't think it was a Tobin and try to be future yeah try to skirt yeah I won't

  • 1:34:13

here I don't want to hear her skirt no Russia might be the original skirt cardi drug them [ __ ] left was like

  • 1:35:15

oh sure mmm took all the throw aways I met about

  • 1:35:22

that part 2 coming out like who asked for that I I've been very critical of

  • 1:35:28

that album I don't need another I don't want to add more yeah what a time to be alive oh yeah oh yeah that got it like that oh

  • 1:35:34

yeah didn't like that out no you didn't like that oh yeah a couple slaps with that how was dope I liked that out I

  • 1:35:40

liked it i actually i think i think i said i'm sure i think that's monday drakes most underrated projects cuz that

  • 1:35:46

is this joint one year now if you go back a time you'll be alive yeah like if that sound right now totally understand why people like it

  • 1:35:53

it's not one of those things i day was ahead where everything that's one album is was now did the sound now no it's not

  • 1:35:58

yes it is no it was just futures so but there was a couple's life sunday that

  • 1:36:04

was the timing is is only what I liked that was different for Drake back then no when they did it out that was now

  • 1:36:09

that like it was a future out were you waiting for who cares were you waiting for part two I wasn't waiting for it but when a now

  • 1:36:16

said I was okay cool not like I like what you asking for an axe would even know where the streets waiting

  • 1:36:22

I don't know their streets I haven't spoken to I'm gonna come but people are happy about this project though cuz a

  • 1:36:28

lot of people like that out I'm just I just don't I'm worried only because I don't know

  • 1:36:33

what we're future that like what I'm saying like did you know that Rick is

  • 1:36:38

gonna deliver I'm not really I like to put it in really lasts long yeah I got

  • 1:36:44

in it wasn't really like but I don't feel like future projects really Glassell for me personally I don't need

  • 1:36:49

to say yeah future song with a different Drake verse eight times the Joe Budden podcasts live in Atlanta really haha

  • 1:36:58

just a brief reminder yeah no but I do I do want to hear this project love the

  • 1:37:04

first one are y'all excited for the Jay Electronica and jay-z album that's on the way Rory has to relax with that why fancy

  • 1:37:11

pumping it up will you do that I'll trouble they said it's coming soon oh say yo coming soon

  • 1:37:17

okay given Micah's a key to every city

  • 1:37:24

oh you got a key to another city right like Washington or some [ __ ] Nikita

  • 1:37:34

Atlanta yeah oh that's collegiately yeah we shall keep we should have secured no just a

  • 1:37:40

key oh I won't tell mothers now oh what

  • 1:37:50

a time to be alive oh we're happy but I'm done that's all my brain it up real

  • 1:37:56

quick and you're trying to bypass it but I forgot you know you're not feeling the time you know you're over yo [ __ ] what no I the project that I don't know why I

  • 1:38:03

don't like that project necklace that huh I gotta go back and listen you'll like it because I like it there's a couple slaps

  • 1:38:08

of the sub yes I can tell you why I don't like it cuz he said what a time to

  • 1:38:14

be alive you and your me and mine are

  • 1:38:22

you talking team are you talking teams yeah oh you're talking yes that's always hard

  • 1:38:35

stop me I'm not hating alright I was home when I heard so he told Metro boom to boom on them hoes no he said Metro

  • 1:38:42

  • 1:39:02

boom on you alot it went over our head

  • 1:39:11

where you hear a song and what type of song it is and how you supposed to receive it plural are that's huge so I'm

  • 1:39:17

talking [ __ ] right now I do know that that's a club song that shouldn't have been heard while you're chilling in your living room I was at the release of

  • 1:39:32

every drink out that is true that's funny that's my [ __ ] nothing with Drake

  • 1:39:53

  • 1:40:05

teams look at each other talk to you know sorry very bad thing I ever said

  • 1:40:12

about you whenever you in the studio making the vibe I'm supposed to be

  • 1:40:18

gazing at Rory saying what would you think about this we supposed to be in a

  • 1:40:24

whole different zone in fact I know his

  • 1:40:31

album today and I don't want to talk about Drake because I want somebody bingo right but too late no someone's

  • 1:40:37

drinking future at it okay yeah and we went up hope we did yeah we Jay Electronica you know

  • 1:40:43

you keep bringing up home you blueprint

  • 1:40:48

got inducted into the Hall of literature [Music] take that ether

  • 1:40:56

wait all the [ __ ] that for 10 years 20 years been telling me ethers the greatest I a word when hole got inducted

  • 1:41:04

into the author's literature greatest written compositions since slavery [ __ ]

  • 1:41:09

like ether Stillmatic a huh still bad gate in there huh still bad

  • 1:41:15

it's not in there didn't make the Congress no park loves to man I do have

  • 1:41:21

so bad we're classic up Stillmatic is classic not a classic only the NAS fans

  • 1:41:29

absolutely classic which means it's not

  • 1:41:37

a claim you may just like to borderline

  • 1:41:45

yeah but you made it you in you insane see I tell you what I wish I wish that

  • 1:41:53

that what a time to be a live song came out or the album came out when the Braun was on the leakers no time to be alive

  • 1:42:01

when it went Tom be dead when oh my god LeBron would have been in the video Millie rock and unit directed he to miss

  • 1:42:08

ten road games we dad mad shops that's

  • 1:42:14

what I wish then you would feel a little differently but oh we're talking to you oh we're talking teeth no you talking

  • 1:42:20

tell us what you saw I'm listening I'm not talking about teams mall and you're trying to pump up the digital - digital

  • 1:42:28

    - I just I don't get out you don't look

  • 1:42:35

at home is a real you know you listen to it Rory indian-style know me and Rory

  • 1:42:42

was in a V when they're dropped was

  • 1:42:48

going on with a GW yeah it still just didn't feel it I had a beautiful scenery was trying to get into the vibe yeah

  • 1:42:53

we're on our way to melody yeah that's a day you can't go to melody for the five

  • 1:42:58

back when that's five [ __ ] I love my fiancee sighing Talmud

  • 1:43:07

melody was never like yo melody was so like that I still gotta tread carefully when I want to go today

  • 1:43:15

hey Wilson used to be there with us we

  • 1:43:21

got this got the sneaky vibes sneaky joints is over there I'll tell you I got

  • 1:43:32

what the melody when we get off or what happened [Laughter]

  • 1:43:41

[Music] all right what are we talking about now when talk about Jennifer Lopez culture

  • 1:43:47

vulture an ass she vultured mulched

  • 1:43:56

she watched sick strange it was a scam

  • 1:44:03

from the problem never seen on a sixth dress the same she's went home got on the train to go to game that day down to

  • 1:44:17

earth he was that was two stops to the bar that my god no traffic you might

  • 1:44:24

have just been in the station but nobody else in the subway car but it's security yeah sorry buddy get out you think Jay

  • 1:44:30

ever rode the train yeah yes every New Yorkers and somebody's been richness like the eighties the tram sure he wrote

  • 1:44:37

the tree we rode the train all right so listen this young lady right her name is Mimi 305 but so she's never area code

  • 1:44:46

yeah whenever you have the area code in their name is like oh you mad at the 305 but you not mad at we talk continues

  • 1:44:52

four times in a row difference but when he asked you that was you talking teams

  • 1:44:58

no I wasn't see I said no hey I said no how could you like that but you was so

  • 1:45:04

mad when fab kept talking about Derrick Rose yes I like when I first heard it I

  • 1:45:12

was like ironlak but then i was like that she kind of home fast pack let's keep feeling like bad my guy got too cold fat

  • 1:45:19

I figured keep feel like fat waiting for everyone else's heat to die down so he could just release some music but it

  • 1:45:26

don't really matter you don't have to do that though fabs runs all just like a put out a record whenever and [ __ ]

  • 1:45:32

gonna follow it I don't not sure it is then might as a he has it he has that following everyone

  • 1:45:38

in this room is from New York so but but I know a lot about I don't know they love bad dude

  • 1:45:43

but it's a lot of people outside of New York that love I'm not of course all I'm saying in a record the real room a room

  • 1:45:49

full of New York [ __ ] is not it's not really a group that can confirm this

  • 1:45:54

would you say yeah we agree it can only be confirmed when Adam come out oh when the record comes out famine giving us a

  • 1:46:02

little edgy snippets for a while and give us nothing yet but why is that the

  • 1:46:07

old why you detention so is Pittsburgh feature no burg did half of that fabric

  • 1:46:14

yeah but why do you think that that like is this something contractually that keeps fat from releasing music mmm I

  • 1:46:19

just don't these press to do so I don't think fab is in a rush to release music

  • 1:46:24

fab is in year 18 of its could what what

  • 1:46:30

would be the rush not that it's a rush but it's like obviously he's not in a rush but I'm like you know what I think

  • 1:46:36

mall and this isn't that specific to fab even though it's coming off our fab conversation so we clearing that I think

  • 1:46:44

a lot of the artists that are that are highlighted today are a lot more afraid

  • 1:46:51

of pressure than they let on that and I don't think it's spoken about really

  • 1:46:57

enough scared of the numbers coming back and scared of having having to have

  • 1:47:04

music yeah reality more at some point you have to deliver like we call all live in our own bubble into it's time to

  • 1:47:11

release until it's time to drop some until it's time for numbers come back till it's time to see what your streams was like until it's time to see what the

  • 1:47:17

radio would do if that still counts for anything that's when it's like the day

  • 1:47:22

of the day of reckoning for people yeah because you can kind of live off your legacy nice fams in this but you could live off your

  • 1:47:28

legacy you live over now without having proof like your rates don't change when

  • 1:47:33

the proof ain't there yeah you live off your legacy without doing what it is that made you let a legend pretty much

  • 1:47:39

yeah and I'm not saying about fab she'd not think that about a bunch of new acts

  • 1:47:44

listen I think that about some of these Lucy [ __ ] that that's going on I want another soul tape be honest I want to

  • 1:47:50

know why I sold that series to me you're

  • 1:47:56

muted musics like that's all like in that same boat safe abused to put out in another soul tape you're so dead to me

  • 1:48:03

that would be the best move for him right now that was here Elmo music yeah that [ __ ] was that soul tape well moon music was kind of that soul

  • 1:48:10

tape series it's just expressed in a

  • 1:48:21

different way and before I leave this what a time conversation I towed out

  • 1:48:27

much trash you said you don't see how me and Rory don't see how that album is hard and in my response to that was

  • 1:48:33

there's a such thing as hard trash not saying that that album is is hard trash but something could be hard and I this

  • 1:48:41

man hard trash it to me what I think is hard trash is when it comes out it's all

  • 1:48:47

that [ __ ] is hard but then it's like it ages terribly well you go back and listen II play that [ __ ] what the [ __ ]

  • 1:48:53

was I way about what a time can't do that because today you don't even really

  • 1:48:58

give a chance for [ __ ] to age it just disintegrates and you don't revisit exercise service [ __ ] last o reassertion

  • 1:49:06

is less socially good [ __ ] the only thing that lasts is March Madness it's

  • 1:49:12

the only record that has lasted all this all this time alright JLo you want to know yeah I

  • 1:49:17

don't listen all right what are your thoughts on it anyway before I tell you I know nothing about it I saw the thread but I didn't indulge ok

  • 1:49:24

so let's do it Mimi 305 shout out to the home page I just saw the headline was maybe Jenny's not from the block and I didn't let's

  • 1:49:32

break this down Lopez began appearing as a fly girl dancer on in living color

  • 1:49:38

where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993 hey uh I

  • 1:49:45

follow big facts then her first leading role in the 1997 Selina biopic of the

  • 1:49:52

same name Lopez received a Golden Globe nomination and became the first Latin actress to

  • 1:49:58

earn over us 1 million dollars for a film according to vibe she was the

  • 1:50:03

highest-paid latin actress in Hollywood this great movie yeah Selena yeah great great movie ok so

  • 1:50:11

far I'm still with I'm still with JLo yeah she's still from the block all right let's pause right there yeah but

  • 1:50:17

that's both did y'all see that some movie several times yeah I liked it

  • 1:50:22

the JLo JLo one J levonne yeah so you did a great job got it alright don't tell me Selena's

  • 1:50:30

trash now no Selena's not trash

  • 1:50:35

she continues ok so how did Jennifer Lynn Lopes become this so-called singer

  • 1:50:42

JLo after lip-synching all of Selena's vocals in a Selena and Selena and the

  • 1:50:47

success for the film she most definitely caught the labels attention Lopez's debut single if you had my love was

  • 1:50:54

released in May 1999 JLo became the first artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 with the debut single since Britney

  • 1:51:01

Spears did so with her single baby one more time a year before but carry on both great records following so far sure

  • 1:51:09

still with JLo if some that tries to commence that as long as it carry on if

  • 1:51:15

you had my love if I told you there was a song by chante Moore called if I gave

  • 1:51:21

you love now if I told you did he stole that record for his then-girlfriend JLo

  • 1:51:27

ok ok it wouldn't be the first time this sounds this music business to me

  • 1:51:34

ok she then says what if I told you that they just rearranged lyrics just 30 days

  • 1:51:39

I'm a Sean Hayes vocals basically if you submitted this on Turnitin you will have

  • 1:51:46

a high similarity percentage gotta gotta got it that is Consular very complex is it

  • 1:51:51

regular to do it for every song in your career yes every song no that's not real bias

  • 1:51:57

over with songwriter well let me push me well let me finish and then let's argue about it waiting for it tonight another

  • 1:52:02

hit by JLo called waiting for tonight how did sis get away with these background vocals the original track is

  • 1:52:07

from third party waiting for tonight of course sis kept their vocals it's here I've

  • 1:52:14

always thought waiting for tonight don't try to not stand with her now sing

  • 1:52:21

their old background vocals huh why is everybody icing their old back row okay no don't worry all right then I'll [ __ ]

  • 1:52:26

up I'll [ __ ] up let me go back my bad that's that referred to JLo like she's

  • 1:52:32

points right she's a good pop star okay

  • 1:52:37

that was her point wait case closed no she went on would

  • 1:52:43

it's pointless to continue because she named a bunch of other songs where this occurred but y'all are telling me that

  • 1:52:49

this is fine that's normal I totally disagree with that what are you talking about people don't sing all their

  • 1:52:55

background vocals all the time that's not a [ __ ] I don't date a Tori that no I don't really don't write their old songs in a pop world world here that's

  • 1:53:05

important you there's legendary soul musicians that didn't write their own [ __ ] music what about pop no one ever said she was

  • 1:53:12

like the wild well is full of total who else in pop world has been on a six-string alright let's go through a

  • 1:53:20

[ __ ] I want to pop me Lady gaga she's a pop never mind guys her fainted

  • 1:53:29

an usher into her music career add regular yeah oh this is regular never

  • 1:53:36

looked at JLo like she was an amazing vote oh that's a musician's carry a

  • 1:53:44

Whitney Houston then it would be like damn that's crazy but they bad background singers sue know but not everyone parts not minimalizing this

  • 1:53:51

then that she's not saying that hey JLo head back people singer backgrounds that's not what you're saying she's

  • 1:53:57

saying that every song that ever worked in J Lo's career was stolen she's saying the moves going or purchase was up yes

  • 1:54:05

they move she's am both stolen or purchase I gotta read some credit sheet she said she fainted the movie that that

  • 1:54:12

she broke off she did a piss-poor job and it was Selena so that was supposed to happen and then from there we just

  • 1:54:17

    planted you in a pop that's what she's saying I wouldn't play oh it's JLo a

  • 1:54:24

plant sure you can make a case sure not mad at that yeah but um I'm not all this information

  • 1:54:29

I'm not like we never had her at this high credit musically yeah she's a pop so that's why I'm not really lights are

  • 1:54:35

dancing songs written by other people

  • 1:54:41

and background singers singing background vocals realitor don't write all our own songs she has background singers are we gonna

  • 1:54:47

throw her out the [ __ ] window to know I'm still trying understand what did or every pop star ever ever got it pop pop

  • 1:54:55

sorry my co didn't write all this [ __ ] right what else we got what her whole

  • 1:55:05

thing I don't think so at all what's that what's your analysis of the situation what's the point she's trying

  • 1:55:11

to make yeah that's what is wouldn't get what all that was for yeah what does the point where she said uh

  • 1:55:18

I'm not sure what her point is because I didn't continue talking I just want to read the thread and I walked away from

  • 1:55:23

the thread saying yeah sounds about right exactly that's it but y'all interpretation of it

  • 1:55:31

is real different no I my thing is I just never low as a dancer who was a horrible actress for a

  • 1:55:36

long time a horrible actor horrible actress not a very good a horrible

  • 1:55:42

accuracy and she's seen a lot of smoke enough so she was a horrible actress for

  • 1:55:49

a long time yet she saw a lot of success in acting that's her point on this thing she's not a musician she's been a

  • 1:55:56

horrible singer for a long time yet she's seen a lot of success in that field she's just calling a spade a spade

  • 1:56:02

but I can make my nice and sayin that our hands I made in Manhattan I can name a lot of actors that are bad actors that

  • 1:56:08

keep getting roles and movies over a word that's not that's what I'm saying I'm not understanding what she's saying

  • 1:56:13

a lot of pop stars are not too that's common now what she maybe she's

  • 1:56:20

putting this together because she's saying like no one has ever said it but I think well hi nobody's ever said it

  • 1:56:25

because nobody ever expected that much from like I also think that we said it

  • 1:56:37

what the foot no see maybe yeah alright my point here is the

  • 1:56:43

same as my point in our cardi discussion which is people just using culture to do

  • 1:56:49

whatever the [ __ ] they want to do y'all telling me she was a pop star I wasn't getting that when she was in the video with [ __ ] jaar zama I'm real it's not

  • 1:56:57

a pop record it's a pop pop - pop record

  • 1:57:08

    like that's like a Yanni's you're not this stupid John I'm real is a [ __ ]

  • 1:57:15

sample either a pop record or [ __ ] pops what is pop about I'm real

  • 1:57:23

everything I totally disagree so the planets in the hook every let's just start with the hook every snap pop yes

  • 1:57:32

lyrics in that place you say [ __ ] in it place so she alright

  • 1:57:47

no cards no just because she I'm told

  • 1:58:55

one hip-hop record that means she's not a pop star I'm that y'all keep telling me that she's a pop star yet she keeps telling

  • 1:59:03

me she the regular [ __ ] from the Bronx on the 6:00 train I'm not agreeing with y'all with the pop [ __ ] oh I see what

  • 1:59:09

you trying to tie into it if this says you can be a pop star oh ji-ho logic

  • 1:59:14

same [ __ ] no no engineer parks could

  • 1:59:24

tell me all the ways that this is a pop record I'm dying to hear that's the pot wreck I know let's play play on the

  • 1:59:30

other thing once that goes on no see pop record boys what is not a pop record

  • 1:59:38

about that that's what I'm saying that's pop Joe this is a mary-jane girls so

  • 1:59:44

well let me finish them which was a pop song no it's not part you just talking now the man young girls is not a pop

  • 1:59:51

song it's not not a pop song it is not a pop so is it not a pop song yeah because Mary Jane girls this

  • 1:59:59

original song is not a pop song but I don't mean just cuz they use that sympathy anyway they didn't change

  • 2:00:05

anything in the beat wait let's let's break this down with parks and saying it so we can move on cuz i'm trumps they didn't change anything in the beat so

  • 2:00:12

they didn't make the beat poppy it is a poppy beat well we got next man

  • 2:00:17

oh we got how is that beaten up poppy there's nothing about this song that is a pop song there's nothing about this

  • 2:00:23

song that's a pop song so I'm telling you - huh cuz JLo is Spanish and fine

  • 2:00:28

somebody tell me what - the music that's a pop what's the other pop record hero

  • 2:00:51

what is the other pop record hero I don't know his disco yeah I'm telling me a hip-hop writer took a [ __ ] army

  • 2:00:57

beat wrote some morning and rapped on it but it's pop hip-hop can be point yes

  • 2:01:19

the bitch's pop they never been urban even with funky trash was trying to make him urban it wasn't her goddamn it

  • 2:01:25

alright so when I'm saying a record when stretch was on that song with 3lw we

  • 2:01:31

ones they already know you might sort of saying no I'm just saying that a rapper can

  • 2:01:37

write a pop record oh that is whoa you're not responsible wrote about this

  • 2:01:42

rapper and that record and this sample so that's what I'm so I'm a pop song why

  • 2:01:48

because you're saying everything of bet on the song is pop yes see the hook yeah

  • 2:01:54

writing I got major key there's photos of my record that's a pop record right

  • 2:02:00

there oh so define pop record it like nothing about that says not for nothing

  • 2:02:07

most hip hop is technically pop records that's not urban and that eight I mean

  • 2:02:19

[ __ ] shot me sometimes no you shall hear sorry word that you thing in it that's not a pop record it's not a pop

  • 2:02:26

record it's a topic that's a big matter Bob Roger once them records make it on them CDs that we use now then say that

  • 2:02:33

this box goes on in that's a that's absolutely that's a pop song well we got

  • 2:03:29

    will yet

  • 2:03:35

before we move on because we just closed this somehow great off air yeah parks it

  • 2:03:44

is your understanding that a pop record is one with melodies and harmonizing yes

  • 2:03:51

and I will actually go a step further that was once yelled at by like a music nerd they said anything that's not

  • 2:03:56

classical or jazz is essentially pop who killed you Joe no I think that's the

  • 2:04:02

dumbest [ __ ] I'm not true technically it all has technically pop music it is it

  • 2:04:08

is that's not true it's not true when hip-hop was born and said this [ __ ] would last 10 years that wasn't pop and

  • 2:04:14

hip-hop came out it was done music oh yes they weren't wrong with hip-hop started it was dance music okay which is

  • 2:04:22

pop it wasn't pop was disc wasn't part it was disco II and disco wasn't pop disco was definitely it was call you

  • 2:04:45

[ __ ] dead disco was pop no it wasn't that pop in the 70s was it just disco it

  • 2:04:50

was disco that what that was footik the pill heads back then come sample it but

  • 2:04:56

something else yeah it was powder all right so we don't know what a pop record is I'll just say it's pop and let me say

  • 2:05:03

and I know and that's my and that's my issue with this whole conversation pop

  • 2:05:08

when it comes to pop it's sound and performance it's both so how we

  • 2:05:17

categorize records that even that that that crossover getting a Grammy for

  • 2:05:26

sounds of a [ __ ] about crossing over the song is the song but if it crosses over and white people hear it and like it's

  • 2:05:32

pop now it's the pop record yeah that's not true the the genre the music is just about

  • 2:05:38

the elements used in the creation of the song not the songs perform it that's not true how nice that will tell me more

  • 2:05:44

because music is still the Beatles used guitars and bass guitars and [ __ ] and that was pop music and then Michael

  • 2:05:50

Jackson use strings and [ __ ] horn sections and that was pop music but so they sound you can't just say it's

  • 2:05:56

because it has a synthesizer it's pop it's confusing to you because you just took it to performance okay but no I

  • 2:06:05

don't think the Beatles and again I don't know that I wasn't born I don't know what was pop music back then I

  • 2:06:11

don't know what it was I'm only speaking about from what I know disco ain't pop the Beatles opposite of

  • 2:06:18

pop yeah their pop for sure later in their career I guess maybe it would be a little

  • 2:06:23

blurry that'd be taint pop and nothing about that one is pop urban or song structure

  • 2:06:30

urban music is not privileged that way to where some urban [ __ ] is just urban

  • 2:06:35

it don't matter how how to [ __ ] performs it's still urban the song pop is what the white people wanted want to

  • 2:06:41

claim to I don't understand no see also I would say this the social structure when the song has a verse pre-chorus chorus that is pop in the arrangements

  • 2:06:53

the yeah yes in the background is a pop element when you have them harmonizing together java rule you say it was

  • 2:06:58

rapping on and he was singing on the so for the most part it's a pop record

  • 2:07:05

there's not a pop turn it down what he's singing dancing why is that pop because

  • 2:07:13

Java was singing boy of course yeah why is it pop cuz he's singing on the course cuz he's a rapper alright I don't

  • 2:07:22

think that's a pop record I think waiting for tonight is a pop record okay I agree I think is

  • 2:07:28

I think the JLo has has teetered the line of pop and urban I think she is one

  • 2:07:35

of the many who has marketed to urban but wasn't really urban this is Jenny

  • 2:07:42

from the block of pop song Jenny from the block is a marketing scheme I'm just asking about the song is that pop song

  • 2:07:47

no don't be fooled by the rocks that I got I'm just I'm just Jenny from the

  • 2:07:52

block used to have a little but after you hear it I think it's pop so it's the

  • 2:07:58

beat let's beat I don't member to be yeah dope to do or that one pop do that

  • 2:08:05

one pop okay that was more JLo pandering to urban audience

  • 2:08:12

so anytime somebody does that it I'm trying to understand your point beer with that it wasn't a point I just want

  • 2:08:19

to see which if you thought that was a parking enough but you said it yeah but it has hip-hop elements for sure but

  • 2:08:24

it's a pop record because of how often uses because of how it performed no structure of the song is just a pop

  • 2:08:31

record and I totally disagree with that to like the song styles and jay-z song

  • 2:08:39

structure can't decide a genre and it does how how doesn't it how does it I

  • 2:08:45

think it has I think it I think it does it does add so tell me how that's applicable today of what he's saying is

  • 2:08:51

true because what is what is the pop song structure today that standard and what is the hip-hop song structure today

  • 2:08:57

that Stan tell me if that's the social structure would typically be a 16-bar rapping in a chorus yes maybe longer

  • 2:09:04

than 16 bar pop car a pop song would be a perverse a bar pre-chorus a bar course today that's whatever today that's every

  • 2:09:11

song but that's why I'm saying it that's why I'm saying it adds to it so what you would which would categorize a recognize

  • 2:09:17

his Drake well structured he has top ratings records for sure what are the pop records just on the only hot

  • 2:09:24

link is a popper absolutely just hold on grow at home yeah and these

  • 2:09:29

are pop records because of the drum elements in it the elements in it don't

  • 2:09:34

want the elements say they only determine its stamp historically you

  • 2:09:41

know because the instrument is popular now it makes its way into pop music and that's why hip hop has infiltrated pop

  • 2:09:46

music because the elements of hip hop have made it into pop music so ariana

  • 2:09:52

grande singing over at rap song is now traps almost rapper elements what you saying I don't think that's why hip hop

  • 2:09:59

infiltrated pop music hip hop is the dominant genre period hip hop is pop

  • 2:10:05

music and I think pop figure that out hip hop is a popular genre that's why I think is what's milk it's the V popular

  • 2:10:13

John that's a kitty most sure absolutely so I totally disagree will parse his hand that's why hip hop made it right

  • 2:10:23

now he's saying over the course of time right like the way the Jenny from the block it is it has hip-hop elements but

  • 2:10:29

it's a pop record so let's talk more in the 60s or whatever pop music used guitars and rock elements

  • 2:10:35

and then in the 70s they used synthesizers because that was the sounds that you choose to use the

  • 2:10:41

instrumentation arrangement makes its way from the underground to pop music so

  • 2:10:47

pop you know it's fine that you saying that you know none of us was born but I would love to know what they said pop

  • 2:10:53

music was before the seventies because rolling stone yeah rock maybe it's rock

  • 2:11:02

maybe do us all rock all of that is rock and roll and pop and that's my point

  • 2:11:07

white people get the [ __ ] repurpose [ __ ] that's not pop it's rock and it was popular the Beatles is rock The Rolling

  • 2:11:15

Stones is wrapped all these groups that you bout the name is rock what was pop then there is no [ __ ] pop John pop is

  • 2:11:22

how you perform until they [ __ ] go in and created some [ __ ] to try to contend

  • 2:11:27

with hip-hop and in that field everything that white people tried to create to make to contend with hip-hop

  • 2:11:32

you kind of contradict yourself town if you're saying that pop is just how it performs no I was lying waiting for

  • 2:11:39

tonight a pop record then I say it pop is a sound plus how it performs a privilege that isn't afforded to urban

  • 2:11:46

joints because urban is just urban yeah but Motown was was black and pop Michael

  • 2:11:55

Jackson who walk was like them oh yeah do AAB and I think like The Supremes

  • 2:12:01

we're trying to make pop music I don't think they were going fully soul like Supremes made pop I want I do want you

  • 2:12:08

    know what because I hate I hate I don't know [ __ ] I don't know anything I want

  • 2:12:14

to I want to call my dad and ask him if Motown was considered pop absolutely not all of it but definitely I don't think

  • 2:12:21

so not the wholly I would never say

  • 2:12:27

I think the temptations have someone I did my dad is uh yes sir pop a real

  • 2:12:35

quick question cuz I'm on my podcast and I'm talking about a bunch of [ __ ] from before any of us were born none of us

  • 2:12:42

were born none of us know [ __ ] we're trying to figure out what what pop music is or not really what it is but what it

  • 2:12:48

was before the 70s what was pop music a thing before the 70s was that a term that you heard a lot no no but did you

  • 2:12:59

hear that did you hear it at all something like that you know I don't

  • 2:13:05

know yeah desta 80 then and then I'm just saying and quiet not affiliated Michael Jackson

  • 2:13:12

was pop but no anyway what was was the

  • 2:13:17

Motown era with all of those hits ever considered pop general knowledge no no

  • 2:13:23

then what genre would that be what the Motown music yeah it was so because Soul

  • 2:13:34

Train was out there he's called a song but sivanandi so CI let us know so I would have never said I would have never

  • 2:13:40

said pop huh we just we just trying to figure we're trying to figure out what

  • 2:13:45

pop music is today yeah just it just kept saying I don't know what pop music

  • 2:13:51

would have been in before the 70s the Beatles was what the readers was uh

  • 2:13:56

sixties early seventies but but that what what classification of music would you call that or were y'all calling that

  • 2:14:03

back then they came from England they were follow the rock the rock era yeah

  • 2:14:09

did we compare with Rolling Stones it said that we're out there what maybe like I said yeah well you and your

  • 2:14:16

podcast I don't really want to say white people music you can say why did we is it it's it's fine yeah then I've been

  • 2:14:22

saying it for 10 minutes before I called you yeah might do you do use that sorry we didn't use that excuse when he was

  • 2:14:32

dealing our music and oh my god we call it that I ain't call it that I was a DJ and a musician I mean call it

  • 2:14:44

what no I I agree no no all right pop thank you let me finish arguing with my

  • 2:14:50

white friend I bet I would have called

  • 2:14:57

Motown soul as well a majority and again I won again and again I wasn't born but

  • 2:15:02

I do think it was some white privilege [ __ ] Jason's definitely have records of

  • 2:15:15

songs that were then considered a were considered it pop and I think the Supreme as well please mr. postman as a

  • 2:15:24

pump suppose it's cool in a gang but be clear was the second cool in a gang it was the second temptation yeah it was

  • 2:15:30

prior to other Diana early temptations were doing popular but I think I think it would happen was when they serviced

  • 2:15:36

it's a radio they didn't want to see the new soul record so they called it pop it

  • 2:15:42

was just all the way they changed words and verbiage and [ __ ] like that light and it just carried on like that was a

  • 2:15:47

fun argument I didn't think JLo will get so riled up Thank You JLo and Joe told

  • 2:16:08

me that record with pop because it was some years you know Joe will come out

  • 2:16:15

take me back to the years they'll even give me my bag what else is there to

  • 2:16:40

talk about how well that's a jello to guys that are in relationships you know do y'all think

  • 2:16:47

do you ever have the talk with your significant others yalla both engaged yeah I ever had to talk about prenups

  • 2:16:53

and you know I accidentally stumbled into this argument fight the other day nights ago tell us more my friend is

  • 2:17:02

dating a girl that makes a significant amount of money and things are going well and she jokingly said to him if we

  • 2:17:09

were ever to get married I would make you sign a prenup to which he said okay whatever wait give that to me one more

  • 2:17:17

time you and you always hanging out we were hanging out things in the

  • 2:17:22

background he's seeing a girl and she jokingly said to him they're having early dating conversations I don't know

  • 2:17:39

so he said that she because she makes a good amount of money and he makes good money too but less than she does she

  • 2:17:45

said then how would make you sign a prenup she said she don't you

  • 2:17:50

what is it good amount I stand with I'm not gonna say that's important I stand what's this so he was but he was

  • 2:17:58

nonchalant like it whatever okay and I was like what a broke dude is supposed to be because he loses nothing all right

  • 2:18:12

I'm some moisture that parks allowed this conversation to happen in his presence with his girl but oh yeah well

  • 2:18:17

so it ignited a furious conversation between me and her how okay how did that happen

  • 2:18:23

I didn't have a stance because I don't I've never really thought about it and should we get REM over here to tell her no no you got sit on this couch I say to

  • 2:18:41

    myself [Laughter]

  • 2:18:47

parks can't do this yeah you got to go to bed yeah or send his girl to the couch I didn't realize this was such a

  • 2:18:54

touchy conversation so tone deaf me I

  • 2:18:59

don't know that I'm gonna sing got whoa do you have you had the conversation in past relationships or we've had that

  • 2:19:07

conversation in group settings it was never like me and someone I was dating well we know right but it was like in

  • 2:19:12

groups and you just hear people talking about it how they feel and first for whatever reason women take offense to

  • 2:19:18

that super when the guy says when it got presents it like yeah I would want you to sign I just I didn't take that stance

  • 2:19:24

I said I don't know didn't need more information what do you mean by more information oh you sound like his girl response is say cool to

  • 2:19:35

get you out of anything no but when you say more information because I think that there's more you don't love me no I

  • 2:19:41

think there's more to a prenup necessarily than just financial I think a prenup can be a lot of different things the only thing that a prenup

  • 2:19:51

people care about is the money hmm no I wanted to hear where he was going with this Dominican

  • 2:19:59

well I don't know I need more information and she said nah [ __ ] that

  • 2:20:06

spoken like a true Dominican Queen yeah Sam I did a deep dive it was a long

  • 2:20:11

conversation we said don't ever put a [ __ ] prenup in front of my face and then the conversation was over now

  • 2:20:21

granted I have yet to approach this this conversation or subject

  • 2:20:29

and not really in a rush to do it I've only had this talk maybe one time with one X and that X made it clear that her

  • 2:20:37

and I would not be getting married without a prenup and I got rich after her and I didn't work okay it's a touchy

  • 2:20:47

situation I don't know I didn't realize I can imagine I've never like I said I've never had it with a girlfriend but

  • 2:20:53

I've had it in group settings with other women and I can say well I don't I don't even think prenups should exist because I don't think anyone should leave

  • 2:20:59

something that's not theirs like everyone should leave the relationship with what they own to me that the things

  • 2:21:14

that are mine you can now leave with because you're a union and it's it's a

  • 2:21:20

business marriages is a business listen sana sana a contract you signed you got to get a notarized and everything that's

  • 2:21:26

a business I I haven't had that talk with my baby Jesus she's been there for

  • 2:21:32

all these new bags like um new year like I'm trying to plot like I'm trying to

  • 2:21:38

    plan how to add I don't know that's a scary conversation but it's not like I don't think it's scary if I don't know

  • 2:21:43

how honest Twitter no more scary if

  • 2:21:53

dependent on because I'm all um in a relationship in 30 years that's not true

  • 2:21:58

but I'm just saying I don't think it should be a scary conversation to have to terrifying one because yeah you're

  • 2:22:04

initially talking about you guys ending that's the thing like it's that's why so I'm calm that's why I shouldn't be

  • 2:22:09

scared Gary because we want to keep our girls and our money but no but this is I'm just saying it shouldn't be

  • 2:22:15

considered a scary conversation because yes you're having it with that being a net of oh if we don't work out but in a

  • 2:22:23

woman's brain you going into something thinking that you guys are gonna end why would you think it's true yeah mr. buddy

  • 2:22:30

because life happens no I I know are you talking to men I feel you around

  • 2:22:36

I'm trying to answer that fly sober

  • 2:23:56

buying [ __ ] from garden sorry buddy welcome more come on bars close this out

  • 2:24:11

so avoid that conversation if you can by all means at all

  • 2:24:18

abso-fucking-lutely but I mean again you can't how you hope for a breakup before

  • 2:24:24

it happens you're right terrible terrible thinking but you're

  • 2:24:32

right but I don't know me I'm not having to know something so I might have met so

  • 2:24:37

no taizai how many you're at sin no bitching but see that's why I understand I don't understand why you say that

  • 2:24:42

you're engaged yeah this would be the time what do you mean you're not having it no time sorry

  • 2:24:49

okay I'm engaged it means one day so you

  • 2:26:07

    [Music]

  • 2:26:13

[ __ ] waste trainer like you get goddammit I gotta waste only one way if

  • 2:26:27

you only had two fights going on in miles prenup is the last thing going on I'm fighting over breast reduction yeah

  • 2:26:38

and somehow I get in a whole lot of trouble when I started singing drink [ __ ] I don't will pay to make it big I

  • 2:26:43

don't pay for nor do you mean I get a lot of trouble so sin what's the reduction

  • 2:26:49

yes sin hey titties and you don't ain't okay for like health reasons I love these I said baby

  • 2:27:15

every time I say something we both wouldn't I said the paper reduction I

  • 2:27:31

like to do goes against all your code

  • 2:27:37

[Laughter] true but one day you might want to read

  • 2:27:46

one you're gonna have you a tittie when I'm ready to suck your poison what give

  • 2:28:11

them back after the Brina hi I'm said no because I'm sacrificing too much of my personal life to make good content on this podcast Jennifer

  • 2:28:26

what else oh you know what this is what

  • 2:28:37

this is what this is what I heard on the news hard left this is our web but I

  • 2:28:44

should mention this after our mental health talked earlier [ __ ] arm on the

  • 2:28:51

news I saw that doctors now they're about to start they're about to start

  • 2:28:56

doctor assisted suicide basically with um listen the other doctor was doing for

  • 2:29:03

years dr. Kevorkian yeah I knew I was a little sick when I was

  • 2:29:10

excited about this news now okay oh

  • 2:29:28

    [Laughter]

  • 2:29:47

that's good for doctor cystic suicide you have to have you have to have six

  • 2:29:53

months or less to live is this an issue I think or like a New York State thing

  • 2:29:59

this was on a New York news so I can't speak about nature that's so stupid because nobody can ever know exactly how

  • 2:30:05

much time you have left I know people that the doctors have told them they have six months in a year and a half later they were still alive

  • 2:30:10

that is true however if they tell you you have six months to live you're eligible for this and to get it you have

  • 2:30:17

to tell the doctor that you want to end it end it twice not once I'm sorry

  • 2:30:24

the second one for sure I think [ __ ] I think you should go through I want you

  • 2:30:30

to be like you I want to end it I want to end it end it are you looking at me

  • 2:30:39

me when I say some wild girl [ __ ] here give me four weeks I'll be back with the jokes

  • 2:30:45

  • 2:32:28

somebody told me hey what do you think hospice is net hurt my feelings not necessarily I don't think that

  • 2:32:33

that's what Hospice is either even though I could be wrong nurses doctors feel free to add me and let me know but

  • 2:32:38

I'll listen when my when my grandfather was up dying in that cancer and he was

  • 2:32:44

back back there in the dark and his dark ass bedroom in the back of the trailer with his brain working perfectly fine

  • 2:32:50

but everything else failing [ __ ] on himself laying in his own [ __ ] you can [ __ ] feel all

  • 2:32:57

feel and see all the pain you went wheaten well I'm if my family had a big meeting because my grandpa wanted to

  • 2:33:02

take his gun and blow his [ __ ] brains out yeah and I felt him alright why the [ __ ] you got me back here laying

  • 2:33:09

and [ __ ] and my brain is working I know it yeah it's about to go get me the [ __ ] out his misery we had to take that gun

  • 2:33:15

at I'm still man whoever stole that [ __ ] gun that is the third time I spoke about that I believe in that well now believe

  • 2:33:21

you yeah that was when we had a plan we've done you'd listen look at that gun at a grandpa driving back New York

  • 2:33:27

somebody beat us to the punch

  • 2:33:33

I'm not mad at that I thought it was a good idea I'm not sure how anybody else

  • 2:33:38

feels about that but yeah I think it's really suffering and you want to I only

  • 2:33:45

have a problem with interfering with God's plan God's plan so it's Lena Wow

  • 2:33:52

I'll find a way to sneak her but it's like okay I get it you maybe I do that

  • 2:33:58

sometimes I don't maybe pain suffering the [ __ ] but to have it to where you can say like I want

  • 2:34:04

to I want to end it right now it's like it's it I get it if you know you don't

  • 2:34:09

want to suffer no I don't think anybody should suffer but I mean who knows like

  • 2:34:15

things could turn around things you never my thing is you just gotta let light that's for them to decide I think

  • 2:34:20

yeah I'm just on the side of letting life just happen I'm with you I don't think I would do it but I've you know i

  • 2:34:27

don't know because i'm priy anted that's the sick the sick apart and all of this is I know all of this is another money

  • 2:34:33

grab for insurance companies and doctors and so that's why I think is the

  • 2:34:38

opposite of money grab [ __ ] his yeah they're gonna have to pay for that no doubt so that's money grow expensive

  • 2:34:43

cancer treatment is I have an idea it's very expensive no I do but what I'm saying is this is just another way for

  • 2:34:48

insurance companies and doctors and is that to make corporations to make money the the medicine the or the poison that

  • 2:34:55

they're gonna use to euthanize humans like that's all somebody's gets paid from the perceiver and cancer tree with

  • 2:35:01

just I'm just saying this is still a money play that's all I'm saying it's

  • 2:35:06

not a free everything everything in this country that's ever announced will be a money play that's why I'm saying but

  • 2:35:12

this is interfering with life's plan what you saying I'm just not oh no I'm

  • 2:35:17

just not I'm not on the side of that but again I do understand how some people don't want to suffer and if they could

  • 2:35:23

in their suffering or cause their family that financial distress of trying to fight cancer for a bunch of years right

  • 2:35:29

hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars which is a sick of thing because that shouldn't even be a part of your options

  • 2:35:35

I agree you should there's free healthiest countries that have free health care if people have cancer - getting free health

  • 2:35:40

free treatment like right so that's just another play with like the [ __ ] is all sick and twisted and so our own them and

  • 2:35:46

that [ __ ] is just it's crazy all right well let's leave it and get on a lighter note for a minute trivia question for

  • 2:35:54

you guys sway in the morning is a person or action but are we surprised though sway

  • 2:36:17

  • 2:42:30

important I don't know what time 149 is but it's a while three it's headed

  • 2:42:37

toward three right and it's still nobody saw us no I see yeah that's what the

  • 2:43:14

Jordan pill don't give a [ __ ] cuz people gonna go see it yeah especially if it's bad rooms I really is it's trash like a

  • 2:43:19

lot of people didn't like this is us I really didn't like okay I didn't like

  • 2:43:26

get out at all but and I came here and I killed get out but again I went to see it without seeing any commercials

  • 2:43:33

without knowing the premise of it without knowing that black people supported it I didn't know anything right I just saw it and off pure

  • 2:43:39

entertainment value I didn't get it great great conceptually but as a movie

  • 2:43:45

one really at us I don't want to talk about it without what if y'all haven't seen it we should give people time to

  • 2:43:51

not spoil it's a lot of listeners probably ever seen I'm now I don't want to spoil that well talking about in spoil yeah it can be regardless of what

  • 2:43:59

my thoughts were in the movie I was I'm super super happy for Jordan pill when the movie first comes on one of the

  • 2:44:05

first things that jumped jumped off the screen to me was created by written by and directed by Jordan pill let's

  • 2:44:13

know so consumed did nothing else mattered to me at that point cuz I was rocking with him and 1:00 a.m. to get

  • 2:44:19

his coin and his credit his props and all that's just so shout out to Jordan Peele we'll talk about this six months later

  • 2:44:25

when these guys have seen it when you guys yes I heard she killed it for the

  • 2:44:32

record this is exactly what I said to barks oh we go well I said that we come

  • 2:44:37

in here and have nothing to say from about things that's true I said we just saved an that's wild

  • 2:44:42

oh I Todd did hear about that oh should you seen it - yeah that was wrong

  • 2:44:57

reacting reacting to the culture acting to the cats what people want to hear

  • 2:45:06

all right what else is happening Crump retire do you guys care of course you care your pets man you a Pats fan come

  • 2:45:13

on yeah give him his flowers give his flowers I'm a Giants fan I'll shut up y'all I like you nine years if I wait

  • 2:45:21

for four rings something like nine years yeah for four or five he got three for

  • 2:45:27

three only that was three still take them out three and get out of here great

  • 2:45:39

personality people love you now yeah

  • 2:45:46

what is that way to go he has a bunch of acting are they doing hangover 5 whatever they're doing he's gonna kill

  • 2:45:52

at some movies I guarantee you that he's gonna be in a bunch of movies for sure how many lives will get it doesn't

  • 2:46:00

matter he'll be in a bunch of he'll be in the party scene drinking a keg stands yeah I love the pop record that's a

  • 2:46:13

block don't be fooled don't be fooled by the rings that I got

  • 2:46:18

yeah still grown dogs real blood Grunk out and jason witten heading back on backwards in the lead let's have jay

  • 2:46:27

jay trying to get one c Grogg got three like you know I'm selling more like he's

  • 2:46:34

so mad I didn't like now we'll give

  • 2:46:39

nominate dr. something I wouldn't say Tony Gonzalez got a lot of numbers so there's a Antonio Gates how many rings

  • 2:46:46

Tony Gonzalez get don't matter oh [ __ ] no is that that statement saying

  • 2:46:51

you know I just want to party I don't think rings matter I don't think they do matter like Grammys matter rings matter to news that hang out I don't

  • 2:46:58

know she extra can't compare a Grammy to a championship ring you kid yes I can yeah you definitely kid how

  • 2:47:05

just some people that happen to be on the time like brought like brutal cool robber Tories the best basketball player

  • 2:47:10

balls that's no no no no that's what you say there's love going today and that's the case bill Russell's the greatest bachelor play of all time well he was

  • 2:47:17

also wanted to Greg's plays Oliver but that's why people argue it because not only would the bill win but his numbers were there or he didn't average insane

  • 2:47:24

numbers Gronk is not the best Titan of all time and that's almost that's fine he's wonderful he's won I think I just

  • 2:47:33

think ring rings matter wouldn't you have the Tom Brady conversation like rings master why it's not a Grammy to me

  • 2:47:39

like you winning all those rings shows that you're the best quarterback cuz you continue to make chips matter in sports this podcast wouldn't never work if we

  • 2:47:45

    weren't friends championships matter and

  • 2:47:52

beautiful like we know [ __ ] about it they do that I don't even know how people get comfortable saying it but I'm

  • 2:47:57

saying I don't think Gronk if you would have went to the Chiefs instead of Kelsey would have got three

  • 2:48:06

rings over there you can't say that you can't say you can say that Tom Brady is

  • 2:48:11

the reason Tom Brady and Bill Belichick his reason why he has three wings Brady

  • 2:48:17

out a lot yo Grogg was a big piece of that whole dynein okay like you know I'm saying and it's

  • 2:48:23

not it's not like you could take just take him out and put anybody else there and said he would have won like nah yeah

  • 2:48:28

Crocker's monster he's just not throwing anyway you're a Patriots fan so of course you feel

  • 2:48:34

oh yeah yeah like you could have took - a kiosk it's a monster the other Titan

  • 2:48:39

was in the monster rocket the monster

  • 2:48:46

next day an angel but salute salute -

  • 2:48:55

grump man a wonderful career he left the way you're supposed to leave man I'm a

  • 2:49:00

man before him yeah like monsters you got your money you got your health you got your rings could get out you know I

  • 2:49:05

like this new wave dome I like the new wave of all the NFL players getting out of there early

  • 2:49:11

I won't have to marry you have to think about life afterwards [ __ ] silence um you walk around and you see a bunch of

  • 2:49:17

dudes that you looked up till you see them now you like I'm taking that rookie contract going home I walk down the

  • 2:49:22

stairs in my crib the other day and felt some ailments those iona ID think you're still doing it

  • 2:49:28

Tom Brady is 40 or have old he is about the about the plate another fees 40 something 42 well I'm not even giving

  • 2:49:35

Tom problems he had a great old line Eli ol as about Eli's release a little

  • 2:49:53

slower Tom Brady hey get that [ __ ] out of there yeah good old line or not that ball get out Connor retire - all right

  • 2:50:00

McGregor you know yeah Conor McGregor Burke uh retired every Bell I don't give

  • 2:50:27

done with this [ __ ] hey we back I don't have to keep living life according to the MMA rules you know I'm saying like

  • 2:50:34

  • 2:52:17

question I've never tried to listen me neither but recently I see that they they keep trying to put out cute

  • 2:52:23

relationship videos where they're talking to each other playboy cardian dating yeah they're a

  • 2:52:29

couple [ __ ] did that happen mad long ago but now they keep putting out like Safari and Erica videos where they're

  • 2:52:36

talking to each other and I keep trying to support them but I can't understand one word either of them are saying so I

  • 2:52:41

wanted to ask y'all if y'all understood but not too did y'all not tuned this is the egg you might be some random I don't

  • 2:54:31

you can date you need to a tour you can get two 8's don't ask why we skip nine I've been wondering what I said okay

  • 2:54:39

so you skip 9 but I can get to eight or - 8 + + 8 + they say yeah you can get to

  • 2:54:45

8 or 8 plus the 8 plus is gonna run your X amount of dollars and it comes with this amount of memory so that's gonna be

  • 2:54:50

a little more but if you get to 10 are the 10 are is the one we I said wait the 10 are yes the 10 are we stopped making

  • 2:54:56

the 10 I said wait you stopped making the 10 that I have I just bought my phone yeah we stopped making that so if you want the 10 are the 8 plus there's

  • 2:55:01

no nine and they'll ten but look like alright enough y'all ain't enough y'all it just keeps telling me [ __ ] well

  • 2:55:08

it's all [ __ ] yeah people are buying it I know yeah but that's why

  • 2:55:13

I was anxious but I was kind of hype about the BlackBerry [ __ ] I killed before but I'm um I want to move on from

  • 2:55:20

the iPhones you know like Google the Google phone the other day as I got strict for them I see enough pics that I

  • 2:55:27

like though move oh it's a green bubble scenario that need a little more in there but some people tell me is a good

  • 2:55:33

phone sure I'm having a car every car

  • 2:55:42

that I think about you tell me mr. tech

  • 2:56:15

world now go get a Prius and they don't try to live like a rapper now but I detect make up a pop star we are part

  • 2:56:36

stars stars and I'm gonna [ __ ] out here god damn it

  • 2:56:41

so you guys host on iTunes stargazing you just make sure there's nothing that we won't talk about a Duke game Oh with

  • 2:56:48

the left let's do it with the left Xena you see NIEM handled that one

  • 2:56:55

    dukey's that was a thank-you to Vegas

  • 2:57:03

for making the line close so they had to make it a close game Duke is real lucky

  • 2:57:09

that that taco do didn't have extra two minutes in that game at any point at any juncture of that game yeah they would

  • 2:57:15

had a long day but I expect Duke - I have our time with teams would like a

  • 2:57:21

good front quarter or depth upfront they don't have no big dudes on Duke

  • 2:57:26

Walter's remaining Oh for the money advances Connor hey I don't know if any other team they got they would have to

  • 2:57:31

face has a there's another good team in

  • 2:57:37

their bracket that they have to play I just don't know if they're big they got Virginia Tech too soon right

  • 2:57:43

uh mother check right now I believe Soto yeah Virginia Tech is not big they might

  • 2:57:48

have lucked out and they don't hat they don't get they don't have to play Gonzaga or nothing yeah they might look

  • 2:57:54

down yeah they got Virginia Tech Michigan State or LSU yeah I don't know if LSU is

  • 2:58:01

big I like Houston man I like you just like

  • 2:58:07

them dude I like you but a lot of people like them they bring up third yeah I like Houston I think they gonna be Kentucky I think

  • 2:58:14

they gonna be Kentucky um I like games a guy - who's left I still like you and

  • 2:58:19

see I still like UNC and who was my picture when it all Duke I'm not confident in that but I'm not confident

  • 2:58:26

    that but I'll stay with [ __ ] I don't think Duke could beat UNC I don't think

  • 2:58:31

nobody really wants to run up and down with you and there I get tired watching them you like do could beat UNC they

  • 2:58:38

just slapped around Zions first game back and slapping in 1 by 2 1 by 2 is a

  • 2:58:46

slap we just sort of one by one that was like well I hope they went I hope Duke

  • 2:58:52

    Wins not like I got a horse in a race of a [ __ ] wins I think that's everything

  • 2:58:57

save ah there's something break while we were recording that like you would know could you just text him BAE's the whole

  • 2:59:02

time I always asked if something broke what about losing yeah he's on his

  • 2:59:13

contract with a drama in Canada didn't say that it didn't say that his contract

  • 2:59:19

with Dutton's your drama can't last this last one I guess it says roc nation stepped in and they're managing which says to me that

  • 2:59:26

now there's more money you're not getting woozy that doughnuts don't

  • 2:59:31

understand what I think with the management they're gonna clean up his contract and get him out of it I think

  • 2:59:37

that's the goal here good luck drama and Canada letting loser that do

  • 2:59:43

you have a black hole we shall see yeah we'll see I mean oh we

  • 2:59:48

won't I don't really go I just see like even like releasing music to begin with like I said earlier I think I think Ozzy is

  • 2:59:55

uh I think he uses this to not really have to face any pressure that comes with music like he keeps saying I want

  • 3:00:03

to leak my whole album y'all picked a single imma drop it on soundcloud because that's how he's seen all his success yeah

  • 3:00:09

never has he seen success where you went and made a bunch of songs now you had to

  • 3:00:14

pick the song that was gonna win you had to market the song that was gonna win and the second song and all of

  • 3:00:19

your livelihood depended on it not the fans picking the the SoundCloud song that worked and now you're just a

  • 3:00:24

    monster right that [ __ ] is tired it's a pressurized

  • 3:00:33

situation and not everybody is is built for that all my friends are dead was

  • 3:00:38

that offer project I was just no son oh okay but it was a leaked Lucy on

  • 3:00:43

soundcloud then was the single and then he put an album out behind the success

  • 3:00:49

of that song yeah that's how most did it was isang that popped I think that's how they pop that's how most rap music pops

  • 3:00:56

2018-19 that's a fact from newer artists absolutely sounds oh yeah we're just

  • 3:01:04

like a Lucy but as Lucy [ __ ] that comes out right that's the way of just finding

  • 3:01:13

out what's gonna work right and then just if it works but at some point you

  • 3:01:18

you hope to graduate from that to the big leagues I would think we're you're

  • 3:01:23

intentionally doing this yeah with the more in control of things where you're making something and you're saying hey this is the song that I want to

  • 3:01:30

represent my entire body of work this is what I want y'all to put the money behind like you think they care about

  • 3:01:35

that kind of thing who do you are artists yes I don't think so I think they kind

  • 3:01:43

of have to I think I agree but I'm with you of the new artists not even given [ __ ] about the music

  • 3:01:48

they don't give a [ __ ] they just here to make money nobody can make money whatever they got to do to make the money they're gonna do

  • 3:01:54

that yeah but if you're here to make money you should probably be as invested in your own [ __ ] as possible you should

  • 3:01:59

be yeah yeah yeah and again listen Hank spoke to hoozy I don't know any whose business I ain't

  • 3:02:05

spoke to drama counting I'm not about nothing I'm just I'm just looking at she throwing [ __ ] at a wall I think that was

  • 3:02:12

everything man let me see some coming this week this weekend was this March in the March a Pula know whatever listen

  • 3:03:26

a manual to know other people in a room you own y'all [ __ ] really be listening

  • 3:03:32

are be music like that yeah yeah listen

  • 3:03:37

on our Saturday episode I'm not prepared to walk on this ledge yet it was not a

  • 3:03:44

hill on a diamond yeah but me parks and Rory would that mean [ __ ] to work so

  • 3:03:51

that me worry more anyway me and two of y'all at the strip club was talking

  • 3:03:57

about the best albums released this decade oh yeah oh yeah that was me in parks that's a great combo we know that

  • 3:04:03

that's why I love you look what job you destroy what's the best albums it is hey

  • 3:04:14

listen I know you know what happened in a happy birthday Tina of course we were

  • 3:04:19

there to support Cena come on wall say happy birthday Tina we was kind of wild that you didn't come support with

  • 3:04:24

us come on boy yeah it supports a cold I had other things on the docket it's a birthday and a lot of birthday she

  • 3:04:30

bodied the birthday outfit she look great regular starts in doubt Fitz

  • 3:04:39

there's more appealing of like you and

  • 3:04:44

your birthday fish sorry honey no we was

  • 3:05:07

innocent I'm joking by the way [ __ ] snitch as things went weaves in a strip

  • 3:05:13

club he went on a Ross set from Teflon Don that's that's all that's what sparked it for me okay and I immediately

  • 3:05:20

went up to these [ __ ] in like alright fam ain't too many albums better than

  • 3:05:26

Tess hunt on this decade we in 2019 so we can have this conversation now honestly so then we started we sat in a

  • 3:05:34

strip club and we started trying to have that talk so next podcast we're gonna try to have

  • 3:05:39

that talk but in that talk this the hill I was ready to dial R&B is body then for

  • 3:05:45

hip hop this decade I agree with you I agree oh yeah that's not a long shot but I'll I think it might be for some people full

  • 3:05:52

well for some people yeah but that might sound ridiculous to some people honestly

  • 3:05:57

well that's why I think it's funny that that kid asked mall that question cuz everyone in this room is like a real

  • 3:06:03

hip-hop I'll even say nerd how much we love to [ __ ] and we play a lot of R&B it seems

  • 3:06:09

like we're the R&B guys and we are the hip-hop guy I'm the arm I've played two maybe three to four hip

  • 3:06:15

hop record in the three to four years this podcast has existed well you know what it is for me a lot y'all know I went to a phase

  • 3:06:21

where I was just playing rap that was it but it's hard it's hard to find rap

  • 3:06:26

records that people don't know about it's more easy to find are and if we

  • 3:06:31

don't know about like rap good good rap good rap yeah find a bunch of dudes that are aspiring to be artists that but it's

  • 3:06:38

not good so R&B is easier because there are people and I feel like they're a lot

  • 3:06:44

more people that are really good at singing and they're way more people that are bad at rapping how I work I agree

  • 3:06:50

there's a lot about diversity but how I word that is rap seems to be progressing

  • 3:06:57

by getting further away from its roots RMB seems to be actually targeting

  • 3:07:03

people that kind of know what they're doing a little bit yeah anything is if you're an aspiring R&B artist it's your

  • 3:07:09

people will tell you quicker that you suck at singing then you are rapping rapping everybody feel it just tell you

  • 3:07:14

kill us with links oh I got some good rap for you Oh our big afford you more

  • 3:07:21

time to figure it out as a new Act oh yeah like I had a vision I see a lot of new and we gotta go to radio sessions of

  • 3:07:27

freestyle well so many these are be people like they'll put out an album that's in our vibe and then we'll [ __ ]

  • 3:07:34

with it in the next album they experimenting with some shades in the next album it's a different experiment you're trying to find your sound but we're patient with you because it's our

  • 3:07:40

B rap when you come out you better have it together right what's our elaine's

  • 3:07:46

never freestyle sing at the radio station seed bicycle question me huh he

  • 3:07:51

does that at the shows at the shows you have you feel rappers have to do more

  • 3:07:57

press like I feel like this generation of R&B artists don't do press they don't

  • 3:08:03

they literally put music out they don't but presses the rappers are trying not to do that either we just are failing at it like we have

  • 3:08:09

to do it more than the arm B people know because you use press your social media is your press now so you know people use

  • 3:08:17

an arm B you could come out and not really sell and it's not over we're not

  • 3:08:22

killing you yeah a chance that you're like it's okay yeah well some you kill it R&B artists for their sales never

  • 3:08:28

never Carrie Olson at some point well that's cuz she says I'm bad about Beyonce so

  • 3:08:33

she deserved that yeah they should forgive Carrie for that [ __ ] them [ __ ] put the Beehive [ __ ] in

  • 3:08:41

off and whatever that little twisted little twin girl that went on the talk of the view what a real of 1mz um ah

  • 3:08:47

  • 3:09:11
