  • 3:15

this is what episode went to 38 yeah I'm laughing talk them out on NIP inspiring

  • 3:20

mall watching that watching that service inspired me as well to get on and on the

  • 3:25

ownership tip so I'd like to applaud you gentlemen for 238 episodes of catalog I

  • 3:32

don't think that I don't know I don't think that we do that enough I don't think we talked about the importance of

  • 3:38

it not as it pertains to us anyway that it's quite a bit of catalog that yeah

  • 3:44

hopefully one day will mean something so I'd like to salute you gentlemen okay because it's quite the commitment so to

  • 3:50

get will and and the years we did it with no money wait way more years than

  • 3:57

the six months we've been doing it with money that's the real important part you

  • 4:03

know and should I'm gonna save some of this for some of the lives show maybe but so many of the podcasters come up to

  • 4:10

us and ask for advice or when they come up to me and ask for advice like you can't instill the faith part like I can

  • 4:16

tell you all of the actions that it took but like it takes

  • 4:21

it takes some malware type of guts that would advice I don't know if I'd recommend you to do it the way we did

  • 4:27

now but the same applies to music actually to like people asked how do you make it happen in music it's like we you

  • 4:32

better work like you can't just do it when you feel like doing it most important you have to believe in the

  • 4:38

[ __ ] and yet I love what you do in music and in podcasting if I have if you're doing a podcast and you don't really

  • 4:45

have all the faith in it you're probably not gonna not probably not gonna see a have a passion to do it for free for 40

  • 4:54

years know within three years come every week with the same energy to continue to

  • 4:59

do it and it'll show if you don't spend your own money that part right Danny I got to spend money and that make no

  • 5:05

money for years yeah yeah that's how it goes so uh I want to shout out to all

  • 5:12

the podcasters out there all the creators out there everybody would have vision so they could quit their job and

  • 5:18

curse their boss aw curse the boss out one day and just walk out pull a Magic Johnson we're gonna talk about Magic

  • 5:25

Johnson a little later on and start with

  • 5:38

  • 10:12

  • 10:35

all right gentlemen safety experts how was how was everyone's week how's

  • 10:41

everyone feeling whoo I've gotta get rest of peace before we go yeah and out yeah no we got to stay rest in peace to

  • 10:47

Algiers to peace algae harlem legend we lost him last week his service will

  • 10:53

be next week and that's my guy man so painful to see I'll go I was a part of

  • 10:59

our card player fellowship when Bailey who hit that jack on there yeah I was uh

  • 11:05

ours Huttese uncle out did you just know you just know al if you've been running

  • 11:12

around Harlem especially on 45th and linux but shout out shout out to algae rest in peace and

  • 11:17

I want to give a special thank you to Rachel from Owens funeral home I hope her name is Rachel I forgot but she uh

  • 11:23

she took care of my family and my Uncle Jesse passed last week so oh yeah she

  • 11:28

was she was really sweet to the family so that's all I would give us a special shout-out as you know that's all it's

  • 11:34

nice because I've had the unfortunate experience of some of those funeral workers making that experience very

  • 11:40

unpleasant for family going to service yes and hikes yeah we won't get into

  • 11:47

that but we will so let's start let's start with the service I'm sure everyone watched nipsey service yes home going

  • 11:55

what were what was everyone's thoughts beautiful beautiful beautiful it was uh

  • 12:02

it was just you know it was it was it was dope to see you know people come out and show love to somebody that loved

  • 12:09

where he was from and I loved the city he was from so it was it was he knows a

  • 12:14

lot of emotions you know when his brother black Sam came up and spoke that kind of that hit me all

  • 12:20

that was yeah that was probably one of the rougher ones yeah we're y'all crying at all let me get into this way let me see

  • 12:28

absolutely what everyone's Realtors definitely for pretty much the whole

  • 12:33

thing and to that point how strong that family was cuz you know we've all been

  • 12:39

in funerals I'm sure all of us have spoken at some point at funerals to do that in front of the Staples Center yeah

  • 12:45

with your loved one pass away like the strength that takes I I was look at the computer crying and they up there strong

  • 12:52

as [ __ ] in front of the Staples Center women that you watching on computer you

  • 12:57

    [ __ ] peasant oh of course

  • 13:17

and and on my phone I went from my phone but these people were people to people where people watching with you were you alone i watch the second half was sam

  • 13:24

the first half by myself yeah things could cry would a girl yeah oh did you who do you watch with myself

  • 13:29

I was imposed by myself too yeah yeah I cried for that whole [ __ ] I mean at the

  • 13:36

start of it was delayed it was delayed so I thought that maybe my TV was [ __ ] up or something and then when it came on

  • 13:43

I was just so happy I was happy that you know the only few the only home going services that I've had a chance to see

  • 13:50

if the staples was like Michael Jackson hmm um wasn't James Brown there as well

  • 13:56

you know James there was another big one after Mike no only Mike only my canoe

  • 14:02

wow that's crazy where was princesa private live

  • 14:15

streaming from this event but just just uh just to see nip treat it the same way that you know I would want him to treat

  • 14:23

it yeah I know and that was the one thing I thought about a lot what it was you know flashing his pictures on the

  • 14:28

screen and it was I just was hoping he was able to see and feel that

  • 14:35

yesterday you know I mean like I was hoping her soul was able to you know just just look back at the city and you

  • 14:41

know just see what he what he's done and what he's left and the inspiration that he's given us like I was really hopeful

  • 14:47

for that so that's one thing I took forward and I and again I hope it I hope this energy last man I hope I

  • 14:53

don't want he's got like thought vomit like slow down let's talk about I'm just saying I just hope the last like that

  • 14:58

was what I was thinking like it's cool for right now yeah people to be together for right now tomorrow but it's like

  • 15:04

what about next month and into the summer and you know I mean I just hope that that energy just lasts well let's

  • 15:10

slow down and break this down because it was a lot going on I want us to end with what you just said yeah okay yeah we

  • 15:18

performers [ __ ] Stevie came on or yeah and when any time I see Stevie the

  • 15:25

audio was a little the audio gear but I think it's probably sounded better in the auditorium for sure I'm sure

  • 15:31

we're just getting the board okay well I was holding on strong until March you

  • 15:36

came out when Marcia came out and started and and she was the first former and she just looked like how am I about

  • 15:44

to get through this mmm and then she she got through it and then couldn't even

  • 15:50

get off the stage without breaking down that was difficult for me yeah clothes sounded great through the -

  • 15:57

Marcia yes that is the voice that yeah you want to hear all performers really

  • 16:02

um Anthony Hamilton soup but when Stevie came out uh Anthony Hamilton was next right yeah he was yeah um but when

  • 16:10

Stevie came out I just got to thinking about all the funerals that he sung it hmm because he has sung at all of them

  • 16:16

mmm like the things that his I all of his friends are gone right yeah that's all

  • 16:27

like so I wasn't even really able to focus on his performance rather than the

  • 16:33

songs he was singing and the amount of times he's had to sing them at these

  • 16:38

services and the guitar thing he had was pretty cool that was very cool Danny smoked that

  • 16:44

see heaven [ __ ] yeah yeah you smoke that I need that version iTunes

  • 16:52

Junaid smoked her performance oh yeah yeah she was she looked great she

  • 16:58

sounded great yeah another one that couldn't say at a service but I was thinking it's like wow she looks really

  • 17:03

beautiful while she's singing this in a very tasteful way to say somebody that somebody looks great and it's her

  • 17:09

especially when you overwhelming that emotion you're singing you crying what your makeup or like it's a lot yeah even

  • 17:14

I thought the outfit was it was all everything looked great and again she broke down before she could exit the

  • 17:21

stage so talking Sam Rory the the strength to get up there and sing in front of your

  • 17:28

friends casket salute salute to all of

  • 17:33

the performers I thought everyone that got up there and spoke hit it out of the park mm-hm

  • 17:42

yeah yeah like Moore was saying the brother black Sam killed it you needed that yeah I need a debt he

  • 17:49

body that I needed and I need a [ __ ] to go up the end talk talk to me yeah that's what I was it was like you never

  • 17:55

see talking like his mother gave which still I think his mother's probably one of the strongest women I've ever seen in

  • 18:03

my entire life from that video and then getting up there to speak for that long about those topics so calmly was insane his father

  • 18:10

as well but when his brother got up there it felt like nipsey was more talking like to his fans more or less

  • 18:18

mm-hmm it was much more relatable I feel like when he got up there yeah just seeing like walk into videos

  • 18:26

of them and then hearing you know the pain in his voice and everything that [ __ ] I mean it definitely hit me

  • 18:31

definitely cuz I again I lost my brother 33 out so all that was playing in my

  • 18:36

head like I remember that moment yeah so I mean is this you know again it was tough but I think they did a great great

  • 18:43

job man when the when when and I didn't

  • 18:48

want to really jump off black Sam speaking yet because yeah I guess I just got something different from everybody

  • 18:53

like Rory said black Sam was talking to us he was talking in that language that I understood it's different coming

  • 19:00

from a sibling - it's different coming from the same limit looks exactly like the person and someone that's not just

  • 19:08

sorry to cut you off not someone that's just home life like he his brothers been with him right in a much different

  • 19:14

capacity than his parents or family has seen to some degree that's why I

  • 19:19

couldn't stop crying even in the montage we never saw a nipple own mmm it was nip

  • 19:27

and Sam right nip and Sam nip and Sam everything about this nip chin is just like Tian I said it's just it's me I see

  • 19:34

myself in all of it like I even I wouldn't I wasn't close to with my older

  • 19:39

brother like that but having an older brother and being close to him and like

  • 19:45

y'all being there for your entire [ __ ] upbringing like you did for me at mines we beat these five years older

  • 19:51

we wasn't that five-year gap is a gap of this when y'all are the gap and all of

  • 19:57

them videos they together right yeah when y'all go from I couldn't stop it I couldn't stop [ __ ] crime nip as a as

  • 20:04

a half a year old dude a kid in the house dancing around and doing all this

  • 20:11

    [ __ ] being recorded like I'm I'm crying on the [ __ ] bed because you can

  • 20:16

always spot that person in the family it's what I've been saying about my younger brother Ethan since he was born

  • 20:22

soon as I got to the hospital they twins Ethan and think up he's the one you could see the one that's different that

  • 20:28

just acts as creative it's just it's that energy so nip is dancing around

  • 20:33

breakdancing shutting up three minutes later here comes Sam now he'd breakdance and all that [ __ ] [ __ ] me up yeah yeah

  • 20:38

I gotta be honest yeah um the stories about like he heard him rap and then he

  • 20:45

tried Sam went up there and kept at a

  • 20:54

buck and we don't we very really hear [ __ ] keep it a buck they say yo I tried to rap it was two weeks like you

  • 21:03

know what imma support you and everybody listening if you really

  • 21:08

love hip-hop you tried to rap for two weeks I want to

  • 21:14

pause she got so fast before that to

  • 21:28

nipsey building the computer to then rap on is like that's crazy it just gets

  • 21:35

more and more like weirds not the words and people is like the more well like we

  • 21:42

were saying more will be revealed but the more weird it gets the more it makes sense yeah like the fact that this kid

  • 21:49

kept bringing back computer parts to build a computer and then rap on it for that to be his careers like what oh just

  • 21:59

just being the [ __ ] that is getting more money by mowing lawns we all know

  • 22:07

that like it was just all so [ __ ] relatable it was just all so relatable

  • 22:13

when his mom was talking that's it wasn't about me it wasn't

  • 22:19

about men it wasn't about it like I was zeroed in on the treatment of black

  • 22:25

women in this country because when [ __ ] is [ __ ] up for real for real for real no hole provides the calm always black

  • 22:34

women when men is all in a [ __ ] disarray with all our strength and

  • 22:39

cojones and when [ __ ] all [ __ ] up it's always a black woman so when she up

  • 22:46

there with over that yo everything's cool everything is the way it should be and I

  • 22:53

want the cops to release the video of when they told me so y'all can know everything is OK

  • 22:59

mm-hmm like [ __ ] MA yeah what are you are you watching me do you see me balled

  • 23:05

up on the bed holding my fiance and we didn't even know him and that's your son

  • 23:11

and you're telling us who didn't know him it's okay that's a different type of

  • 23:18

they was just getting in the soap they was getting in it this was far past

  • 23:23

black Funeral [ __ ] mm-hmm but a few people were saying that it was too much

  • 23:30

at play they were summons and spirits

  • 23:35

there were rituals happening so so so so

  • 23:43

so our nipsey could have a smoother transition you callin my ancestors by name libation on a company like this was

  • 23:50

different yeah match what the [ __ ] she was talkin matched with all the Farrakhan it was

  • 23:58

very overwhelming it was very overwhelming and if that wasn't who you were saying somewhere her I'm gonna call

  • 24:05

it a bar her ego bar about everyone morning about him and if we get our own

  • 24:10

out of our own way and our own ego and us missing him and him being in a better place like us mourning is our ego mm-hmm

  • 24:17

it's it's us being selfish saying we're not gonna see him in this and that if he

  • 24:22

has them he has the answers to life now he's on the other side he's perfectly fine it's selfish of us to be upset well

  • 24:29

then I was like that I um I'm cool you got it well it's only ever us that are

  • 24:34

in mourning yeah it's only ever us just that that ego that kind of raising be my point and

  • 24:41

sometimes when I'm talking when you know every Fridays the money's talking but

  • 24:46

that'd be my point when I'm talking about people that have have gone on to that next chapter like they're gonna

  • 24:52

wreck yeah right yeah it's it's us here now it's us arguing beefing canceling

  • 24:58

hurts and bigots out like Daddy they're good yeah but they are in the next the

  • 25:05

next place and a funeral will tell you about your family hmm a funeral will tell you about your

  • 25:11

family and how everyone feels she um she had that she just hid that she had that

  • 25:18

out the park and you know if if all of this wasn't overwhelming for me because

  • 25:24

I was bawling the entire time I feel like this this has really struck a chord with our

  • 25:31

culture our hip-hop community yes like hard like I've been speaking a lot of

  • 25:36

rappers and feeling a lot of people that just partake in our [ __ ] and we're [ __ ] up like the rappers or the

  • 25:43

rappers know what the rappers have to live with what the rappers face what the demons all of that [ __ ] so to see this a

  • 25:50

lot of people a lot of people are [ __ ] up so I was balling the whole time the entire time and rain when I thought I

  • 25:57

was kind of cool Lauren London came out and now sins going crazy because now

  • 26:02

come on Lauren London and all the kids now we got to hear the kids who are also

  • 26:09

very Oh My Jesus oh you talk about some cry in you talk about just holding your

  • 26:16

partner and holding their hand and just y'all just crying cuz you just could see

  • 26:22

you just hate that you ain't to envision yourself we always envision ourselves and other people situate what damn I can t I can't

  • 26:29

imagine it why how would I feel what would I do but you know what that comes from - Joe when you come from a

  • 26:34

spiritual family and you know when you're raised knowing that you know

  • 26:40

death is certain you know maybe you spend life trying to you know just be a

  • 26:46

good person and you don't have to worry about the afterlife like you know I mean like everything is like he said his mom

  • 26:52

said like everything is in divine order but your spirit is at peace when you walk and you live a certain way and you

  • 26:58

you have certain principles instilled in you so there's really you know yes you mourn because you know the flesh is

  • 27:05

going the person you can't see them you can't touch them you can't hug them you can't you know have these conversations anymore but when you know that the

  • 27:12

Spirit is okay and you know that's the way you were raised I mean you know it's not that it's easier but you're prepared

  • 27:20

for it like his mom said days leading up she was feeling things and oh it was

  • 27:26

like she understood it a lot of that [ __ ] she was talking with energy and spirit yeah yeah

  • 27:32

    and I don't doubt it mmm and and and I don't I don't I don't not believe her

  • 27:38

for one second when you say you could feel it coming when she starts on Mount her mother's sleeping on the couch

  • 27:43

because she's like I've lived such a graceful life please take me mm-hmm yeah I don't I don't take any of that for

  • 27:49

granted man I just want to come in that entire family yes it's salute to all of them man it's

  • 27:56

just the two very strong yeah hell yeah yeah every every all parties involved

  • 28:02

all parties involved I really enjoy Farrakhan speaking of really really

  • 28:07

nicely snoop I enjoy absolutely I need G to actually did a great job yeah yeah

  • 28:13

and you could tell snoop it you could tell it really hurts no yeah yeah like you know you could really see it and I

  • 28:20

think that has a lot to with Snoop having you know his son being older now right and you know he he understands the

  • 28:26

dangers and I think you know a lot of that because you know we we grew up with Snoop you know when he was younger and

  • 28:33

he was in his you know out thuggin and you know and now as a father and you

  • 28:38

having kids of AIDS that I have not now that their own lives and they're in college in there and you start thinking

  • 28:44

about the violence that exists in this world that your kids are you know exposed to now it hits you differently

  • 28:50

well that's kind of kind of to what you're saying and I was going to get into this last week but Snoop and I must

  • 29:00

say this about maybe all the rappers maybe except for the new young rappers who I may not be so familiar with are

  • 29:06

knowledgeable about but with nips untimely passing I just started looking

  • 29:13

at all the rappers I start thinking about me and just all of the wrappers and all of them exist today through some

  • 29:22

type of story of them almost not being here anymore mmm all of them 50 whole snoop Dre name

  • 29:31

one I challenge you to give me one and I don't think we really we don't treat it

  • 29:37

that way because it's the music business entertainment and all that but I forgot I read an article somewhere in a sense

  • 29:43

somebody was saying to to was that young I don't remember who said it but to wake up and be a rapper in your city it's

  • 29:51

damn near equivalent to having HIV and it's not treated that way

  • 29:57

because we we here for the shuckin and jivin and then just for people's entertainment and it's moments like

  • 30:02

these that really make you come to grips with some things just just just really

  • 30:08

really fill you with gratitude and really make you just want to take advantage of all of your time here yeah

  • 30:15

yeah all of it I think that was the one thing that affected people the most was that through this nipsey Nipsey tragedy

  • 30:23

you it's almost like okay you see how short life can be just a few days ago I

  • 30:30

was having fun with job he was all you know and now I'm gone and I think that's

  • 30:35

a runway right here I quit like we always you know you always feel like we got time like we always feel like we

  • 30:41

have time yeah like you we have time I'm on the scene if I'm gonna seating it tomorrow we're gonna link up with I'm

  • 30:47

gonna see parks tomorrow see Joe DeMott like you don't never really never know we're not cool you know I'm saying like

  • 30:53

yeah but it's that's what I think that's what hit people the most like oh [ __ ]

  • 30:58

nip cuz that's one thing I'll keep hit talk to my boys in LA and they keep saying fam nip is really gone hmm it's

  • 31:05

like I'm saying you still cannot believe it even after having this beautiful funeral yesterday and and ride him

  • 31:11

around the city on his last on his victory lap right it's like you still don't believe it like you still feel

  • 31:17

like we don't go out tomorrow and nip gonna walk in the spot because yeah

  • 31:22

that's what you were so used to and it's like nah man like this is life is short it's beautiful but it's short what a

  • 31:31

great life he'd live full well he did a lot and it kind of sits with you with

  • 31:38

somebody like nipsey someone so positive doing so many great things it doesn't matter to some degree all right like

  • 31:45

that's another chilling thing right right you're living he was doing it right it's he was doing it right yeah

  • 31:52

it's tough but again we take from that we learn from that we move forward I think that's what that's how we honor we

  • 32:00

move forward and we do the things that he was doing and respectively in our communities and with our reach and I'm

  • 32:07

saying we do a weekend and that's that's what I've seen a lot of since all this is taking place I've seen

  • 32:14

a lot of people saying all right what more can I do well I thought I was I

  • 32:19

thought I was helping before but I can do more mm-hmm oh and I and I like that I enjoy that anyway and I think you know

  • 32:26

everyone shooting for the stars with what nipsey did but nipsey was one of a kind just little things let's start with

  • 32:32

real little little things just do what you can just do what you can yeah you know I'm saying like if

  • 32:38

everybody just does what they can however little you may deem it to be is it helps you know it's a good start yeah

  • 32:44

just by the way you speak it doesn't even have to be nothing like really like it's just just the way you have

  • 32:50

conversations with each other this is a respect that you have for people around you like just changing little things

  • 32:56

like that like do you have to go buy a lot and build a store close so I'm not saying you have to be that just just

  • 33:02

change your you know story or how they got the lot ya know every single detail

  • 33:08

that has come out has just been something like that mm-hmm like with the cops trying to cops trying

  • 33:14

to shut it down and and and the owners looking out like I fell to you right

  • 33:22

exactly divine intervention when you're a good person good things happen for you do

  • 33:28

y'all hear about are y'all hearing about the story about the gentleman being violated for parole yeah yeah I read

  • 33:34

that today that's crazy for those that did not hear it the gentleman that nipsey went to the store

  • 33:40

to help his friend who was away incarcerated for 20 years who just came home names he was giving him some

  • 33:45

clothes so he could look fresh to see his family that gentleman has violated his parole and the cops have arrested

  • 33:51

him well violate his parole because he was hanging with a quote known gang member Nipsey yes which is absolutely the same

  • 34:00

I mean I get laws law but this is I know that we don't know that there's no this

  • 34:06

is the systemic oppression that we speak no absolutely and that's what I'm going to it's like I get it you have this law

  • 34:12

in place you're violating your your probation but it's like am I really

  • 34:17

violating my probation are you serious right like I'm fresh home I don't have no money no job no Chloe I've been going

  • 34:24

twenty years my friend owns a clothing store he's giving me free clothes and

  • 34:29

the tragic if I lose my friend while he's coming here I don't meet somebody with on paper legit money yeah like a

  • 34:36

business that black man is worth more in the system than he is outside of it to

  • 34:41

the system right yeah but that's why this [ __ ] is like is and then you wonder

  • 34:47

why I didn't and then they wonder why guys turn into you know they go crazy and it's like because it's like alright

  • 34:53

I just gave you out twenty years of my life or I've been home for a few hours capable to get some clothes I'm over

  • 35:00

here getting Clark came home to get clothes I've been shot and now I'm in a wheelchair and you still can't throw me

  • 35:05

back in jail forget about the fact that I just seen my man's murdered right whatever cycle whatever psychological

  • 35:12

damage I might have from that like right but again that goes back and that goes

  • 35:17

back to PTSD on people having mental health and that really not being a

  • 35:23

priority in this country mm-hmm like they don't care that this man is in a wheelchair they don't care that there

  • 35:29

might be survivors remorse or whatever whatever that is well they don't they're not testing him marina didn't do

  • 35:36

anything right he's locking him up even though he was just locked up it's it's

  • 35:41

nuts and I hope somebody has the sense or the decency enough to give him a

  • 35:47

pardon to intervene yes to not what I would some believe that that would happen well we would hope right we would

  • 35:54

hope how could a human 'ti is of a certain ilk but I don't we don't know

  • 35:59

what to be that way all right I mean as the chief of police that came out said he was meeting with us he had a triple

  • 36:05

check that it was Nipsey Hussle I up said he was please step in yeah so I don't even know that's your department

  • 36:11

as far as parole goes but but come on man see but that's the thing Rory and I

  • 36:17

mean I'll go I'll walk out on the ledge here by myself cops said if cops are the rappers of the

  • 36:25

government like they're there the fear the foot workers okay snow I think they know you know they don't they don't

  • 36:31

really makes you the needle they they don't have a say and [ __ ] even if they wanted to do the right thing I'm just

  • 36:37

the only one gangs that there's a million gangs and departments up above them like they just get the order and

  • 36:45

move on it yeah so I can't I know I know out here we just say [ __ ] the police and

  • 36:50

and that's cool but this ain't that Mike when we talking about systemic

  • 36:56

oppression it's not us fighting the police yeah no I mean maybe literally

  • 37:01

because that's or the de street war but ya know our fight is much higher than there in lawmakers yeah yeah it's much

  • 37:09

higher than that no you're right police are the pawns on the other side yeah yeah we need we need

  • 37:14

to acknowledge that um all right Wayne did this in awhile let's do it man much

  • 37:22

needed its benefits been a few weeks we let it rock hey

  • 37:33

    [Music]

  • 37:42

    [Music]

  • 37:49

coming up I'm gonna I'm gonna share some our internal conversations with you guys

  • 37:54

because we're family let y'all know what we talk about in here in parks is the

  • 38:02

better podcasts off mic huh the better podcasts off mic yeah every week twice

  • 38:09

    [Laughter] [Music]

  • 38:18

as I ever do feel when you first meet a chick she likes his fire hey give it

  • 38:25

three months Charlie just gonna be the pilot like yeah yeah [Laughter]

  • 38:34

    [Music]

  • 38:45

    Mic Check Mic Check 1 2 1 2 Mic Check 1 2 1 2

  • 38:51

last week I was saying tamal I was sharing with the guys here that I'm

  • 38:58

trying to think of new and innovative ways to get art to take our podcast to the next level and every time I say that

  • 39:06

mall says oh we're killing or you have to look at the tweets and then we have

  • 39:13

all conversation about tweets you're very bad at that by the way

  • 39:21

nobody noticed in the past five years

  • 39:30

this narrative I mean I just don't know you believe that bro absolutely it might only one here two

  • 39:36

dozen tagged you but go ahead oh yeah

  • 39:44

I'm so on your side of the conversation with more okay I'm with him there though you do paint narratives make us all look

  • 39:50

stupid for some weird reason but we're gonna move on but let's just deal with the matter if I paying for mall do I have a make mall appear to be not bright

  • 39:57

you try but it doesn't work no more has more has hood brightness no I have more

  • 40:05

than hood brightness hat is bright that's that's the problem all right well you excel in hood brightness okay I'll

  • 40:12

take that see that shouldn't be a disturb writer smarts yeah yeah you

  • 40:18

gotta have both however that's not what this conversation about it's conversations about growing our podcast and I was trying to explain to mall that

  • 40:24

him being the only single guy on the podcast parks is in a relationship happily round of applause for parks

  • 40:31

thanks man wall brought up a good point he ever seen parks his girl here in a few weeks

  • 40:36

but she's boxers I listen I can't really get my [ __ ] off what you sitting over there

  • 40:41

like someone the fellas come on my knee just go get busy you know when you tell

  • 40:48

a girl to get busy she act like you just threw darts at her she's never been busy

  • 40:58

    [Music]

  • 41:05

without me like I like speed 12 trying

  • 41:13

to explain it listen if Joe was single and listen you bout to get in trouble

  • 41:19

Bobcats will grow the podcast will grow but since parks Rory and myself and

  • 41:24

Erikson are you know you know we got our own thing going on I'd be one more to

  • 41:30

come in here and like share his experiences in the single life and he just will never do it for some reason

  • 41:37

but last week he was telling us a story about him getting dubbed and I thought

  • 41:43

it made all the sense in the world because we've all been there yeah ten

  • 41:49

seconds a man in America is dubbed as a fact might be more quick than that ten seconds my issue with chicks now is the

  • 41:59

dub used to be you could like spot it pretty quick now like chick so now you can spot it quickly me no no back in the

  • 42:05

day I felt like you would spot it if a chick wasn't interested now she'll kind of like text you for a while and not be interested I don't care

  • 42:15

that much about your day if we're not interested but that's what I was telling Joe light is really not interested in

  • 42:20

stories because it turns into what's communication let me say yes it's never interesting story no it didn't curve to

  • 42:27

be funny nice men women stories but she had noise just say is sometimes like the come

  • 42:34

Saturday pod not get it but sometimes the conversation just face like you'll be texting and trying to set something up like yeah let's hang out then it

  • 42:41

won't happen and then you're like oh what happened like though we use in this like oh no I got okay well you know you can let it know sometimes when you got a

  • 42:47

little busy try to set it up again and don't happen to my guy get it any-any gotta go that down but

  • 42:53

the conversation fading see those the good old days of being single well what

  • 42:58

are the first set a girl of my favorite favorite little moment the conversation faded yeah I don't leave that thinking

  • 43:05

I've been dubbed I leave that thing and I can that's a ball by the corner pocket I feel like hitting you with the WYD

  • 43:16

you're back in the bag not because now women move so quick it's like you you

  • 43:21

don't you don't speak to a woman for two weeks you can have a real relationship going on now that is true like eight

  • 43:28

hours like she might not she not gonna respond no it's just log on her

  • 43:34

Instagram if you get a chick 48 hours to go to per goal is over you know every

  • 43:45

goal is over it's okay it's alright huh yes it is I can see why that's our

  • 43:56

number to mark and if you don't get in

  • 44:03

like you're interesting bag in the first maybe five to 15 minutes of that sex

  • 44:10

conversation shorty you gotta come with it at seven okay you're like you know

  • 44:16

how she's doing this is that a good [ __ ] Texan huh yeah and they and they one of them [ __ ] gonna jump right out

  • 44:21

    like you listen me

  • 44:26

I'm out there with the tulum this week unless you stop taking Brazil down with

  • 44:46

shorty with Sasha now that you middle I've never seen before you see now you

  • 44:52

told my going to get some meat it's a whole nothing [ __ ] nut test like yo what's your social and all that like we mother booked the flights moral is an

  • 45:13

average you talk to Khloe Kardashian means I'm just a girl that I mean I'm going to say you I want to take you on

  • 45:19

vacation right now no it means the women that frequent the circles that you seem

  • 45:24

to frequent mm-hmm like vacations from guys oh and your toys ladies hit better

  • 45:35

and today what Mays do got a lot of

  • 45:45

girls that'll love to replace you it's real made for that [ __ ] man I mean listening I was outside I'd love to play

  • 45:57

all right so tell these stories valium get up you don't think like it your

  • 46:05

stories and your jokes just hit better in salut ma or [ __ ] in the texts in

  • 46:10

another two lone mall fields on a jokey joke

  • 46:17

yeah see I'm all in the tech still trying to get a joke off players by Dan

  • 46:22

Barbado there's a black guy Chinese guy

  • 46:34

when I'm back in Harlem let me tell you about my dreams yeah I'm so glad I'm married see that's

  • 46:42

why it's dope that listen interested in girls nah that's what Joe and I were

  • 46:49

tired of how like when you get older man it just be a lot to like be interesting

  • 46:55

but you got to turn your interesting [ __ ] on I'm doing it I'm not doing it no more I'm cool okay when sin look at me

  • 47:01

and say you trash I just give a little laugh and say you trash - that's the

  • 47:11

part we gotta make each other believe we can't get no by you right so I almost feel the vacation dudes like I don't

  • 47:18

want to turn on this me be interesting funny and have all this great point of view I just spend now just go to Jamaica

  • 47:24

let me be quiet then [ __ ] in Jamaica get

  • 47:30

a nice little Jamaica and expensive tree you can get it off that's insane to me

  • 47:35

like you cannot go away with more you know you have to you can sit you make a

  • 47:41

    [ __ ] stank hafidah ugly yes different I

  • 47:52

know nothing about this Oh what you think what's what is that backgammon what is that ball don't have no sex

  • 48:07

  • 48:13

got a kill that's called the curry kill you got put curry on it big kill that's

  • 48:21

the cut you take a girl to Jamaica off the yacht first hang out come on fast we're already not in the best standing

  • 48:27

with the Western fam you listen man you take a girl to Jamaica and not kill she

  • 48:32

only gives you like you crazy no oh you mean like let's go right to sleep weird Odom brought me to Jamaica

  • 48:40

he would try to have process bathing suits to take nice photo and then kill fam but its dues that might be doing

  • 48:48

that though just come out here for the weekend we play stuff flying is not

  • 49:18

doing that always think you wanna that's

  • 49:54

one of the worst parts about Bros angle thank you when you sing and it [ __ ] you don't want

  • 50:00

nothing to do with thank you honor now you gotta go out your way to disser so

  • 50:07

she says she like you acting funny we got to dig into chicks definition of oh

  • 50:13

  • 50:39

Applebee's is down this relax your mind

  • 50:51

  • 50:59

  • 51:41

  • 51:53

you're not a part of this Google [ __ ] when friendly gotcha I'm talking here me

  • 51:59

talking to me now Rory was friendly so no way yeah Joe tell me that I've never

  • 52:07

been to friendlies think that what I just said what'd I just say when it was like a popular place to go when

  • 52:12

Friendly's was everywhere didn't they they stopped it that was like 2:00 in all of New York I haven't seen this one

  • 52:21

in Queens feel friendly the one that I always went to is still over there I don't remember the name but I drove past it like but when did it when did they

  • 52:32

stop wasn't the content King when they

  • 52:39

stopped me friendly and malls never been

  • 52:45

dug all right what else do we have

  • 52:50

APNIC what else went on in the universe waka flocka was a shot at in Atlanta oh

  • 52:57

really yes it wasn't him but uh a studio was shot up and he was one of the people

  • 53:04

that were in the studio tuning and they

  • 53:12

shot to sit up making jokes and [ __ ] we on our way to Atlanta for the engineers

  • 53:17

and they're just minding their business auto-tune came I think everybody was safe I don't think anyone was hurt so

  • 53:23

that's important to know do you like them we were just all my view wrapper

  • 53:30

around you just in the studio at work and now it's bullets coming no no aren't

  • 53:35

meant for you no no no yeah listen and but for me when I had some wild [ __ ]

  • 53:43

happen back in the day at all I mean just always be where you supposed to be but they don't really keep you protected

  • 53:49

like chick it happen anywhere exactly something else that happens something else felt well do we have any commentary

  • 53:55

on what when Walker no I mean prayers that he and everyone else that was there

  • 54:01

not just Walker please yeah 100 100% soldier was arrested let's talk

  • 54:07

about all the rapper [ __ ] I saw that what do you get arrested for violating probation violation probably he got

  • 54:12

arrested for og over Gucci you need too much Gucci I'm sick am we only get soda

  • 54:22

or once every way pops once every six years some like that I'm sick

  • 54:29

yeah I'm just making he's only pure of rap every now and then it's a cool extra

  • 54:34

day yeah that we weren't exploded no I don't want to be like I [ __ ] with him I

  • 54:40

just didn't tired of seeing him I really [ __ ] with him but like I just don't ever

  • 54:45

want to see his existence because they know I [ __ ] with him and I want him to get his money and I want all of that to

  • 54:51

happen but how he goes about it and how he markets I'm over now I mean I've seen

  • 54:59

him a lot that's how he gets doing nothing I've seen him and his friends in that house in the driveway in front of a

  • 55:05

car on the phone on a money phone I've seen enough buying jewelry and I just thanks thank

  • 55:11

you for your contribution and I hope you're doing well stop showing me things stop showing me

  • 55:17

me that's only me if you guys you know I'll be 40 soon hopefully I mean you

  • 55:23

look you a nice driveway we go I'll go out there and shoot some comment if and if every day you saw me in my driveway with some hooligans like stop showing me

  • 55:35

your friends rapper and a and and that's what we should talk about that's what we need to talk about at some point what we

  • 55:41

were talking about rappers hell to start trying to be interesting talk about being super straight the rapper stop showing me your friends

  • 55:47

didn't you do that like your whole career no wasn't that Joe Budden TVs whole premise no that was just here

  • 55:53

there was friends there he's a friend [Laughter]

  • 56:00

yeah we would have a conversation about when did rappers have to be interesting and that's kind of where I'm at with the

  • 56:05

soldier boys [ __ ] like the internet even when I wasn't pissed a soldier boy any attention back in the day he just had

  • 56:13

mad hits so you had to like a bunch of them yeah today even though I'm sure we're not in

  • 56:19

the hit error today but we're just seeing people more than we're hearing them and there may not be anything wrong

  • 56:24

with that for their business but for me I'm into the hearing business too like I would like to hear I would like to hear

  • 56:31

another hop about your bed get your swagging like so dude we're joints yeah of course I would like to hear another

  • 56:36

one no joints and if he can and if he can focus if all the rappers were able

  • 56:41

to just focus on music because music is what was our lucrative still then Wow

  • 56:46

then wow it's the same thing as them telling me that the reports of LeBrons

  • 56:53

kids in school are exceeding expectations they're crashing expectations or whatever you thought

  • 56:58

well what did you think if you put a bunch of black kids in the school and gave them the same resources that you give some of the white kids else we're

  • 57:04

like what did you think what happened it's the same thing same thing here with Soulja Boy if you could just do and not

  • 57:11

just him but just the premise right if you could just do music and you didn't have to show us your jewelry and your

  • 57:16

friends and your cars and your driveway and house and your guns and shooting at people and beefing with people we would

  • 57:23

probably give some more I'm into that I meant to that steel version sorry cut you want more I just really I welcome

  • 57:29

that I love when people do that I disagree with specifically Soulja Boy there I mean soldier boy had all those

  • 57:35

hits but his whole career was focused on a lot of other things as far as pushing

  • 57:40

electronics co-channel Internet ringtones phone ringtones I'm only

  • 57:45

talking about my selfish need oh well then I'm not gonna argue I can't I can't

  • 57:52

ask Soulja Boy now be like yo I really want to hear some hits when your whole career you've been focused on other things you just happen to make some

  • 57:58

great hits in the means huh and valid so that's sold you go ahead be soldier and if that's how you want to market it it's

  • 58:04

working from what I understand he's in jail well how is it working your reasons

  • 58:12

you mad people are working and doing well and violate their probation like that happens it's not really a rare

  • 58:18

thing to violate your probation okay that is because errors have to be

  • 58:25

interesting part I think I think artists and people in general always

  • 58:31

had to be interesting we just got the interesting a different way like in much lower doses right only that's what song

  • 58:38

an album yes because it was more like literally like you know I come from there of I learned about rappers

  • 58:45

magazines I had to read interviews I had to get posters I had to like you know I'm saying I said this would all due

  • 58:51

respect because I want to be respectful and it's just for argument's sake I'm

  • 58:59

just gonna start naming some names what was interesting about big fun he was a

  • 59:04

Latin rapper who was it was a large guy who had style who could who made great

  • 59:11

music was from a certain neighborhood he was New York City well he had personality that he put on records and

  • 59:18

skits and pun was really but that was on I was on albums I agree with you he had

  • 59:24

to show it yeah you have to be interesting daily like that's what I'm saying right nobody honey [ __ ] pun was interesting but in his skill set his

  • 59:31

personality you could hear and the [ __ ] shine in this era of having to be interesting this is what I'm saying

  • 59:37

but I feel like a lot of artists are interesting but they just don't know where I was the infinim hope maybe 40 we

  • 59:45

canceling people would have adapted and realized more things in this era right

  • 59:51

I'm not gonna say that someone that thought that way in the 90s would think that way in 2019 in the nine because our

  • 59:59

I think everyone in this room has progressed in their thinking from the 90s to now as far as what we accepted

  • 1:00:05

and what we did buster so I'm not gonna say we just get information too quick in any place that's now you have to be

  • 1:00:12

interesting all the time and people aren't interesting all the time period like the fact that pun could just get on skits and be funny once out the whole

  • 1:00:18

year right like he could plant it right but that's like you got to be interesting every once every two years I

  • 1:00:24

don't know I feel like people choose to try to be interesting every day I could well that's what I said right has from

  • 1:00:30

the nineties that just weren't interesting on paper most of them I could name it rapid kitchen and aren't

  • 1:00:35

interesting at all you could create it no no I could be cool in the video and they wasn't cool hold on rorey I challenge you to do so

  • 1:00:41

rappers today that are not interesting this is she I challenge you to do so

  • 1:00:47

enlighten me I don't know maybe I'm just unfamiliar with all the rappers today but so we

  • 1:00:53

told my currently putting our music gorgeous that stand that has out that music out where have you interpret

  • 1:01:00

rappers of today well there are a lot of rappers that are not even if they're interesting they don't necessarily prove

  • 1:01:06

it on a daily basis like the je coals and the Kendricks and Drake even they're

  • 1:01:11

interesting she would add work themselves out of having to - that's true they don't need to be but were they ever they kinda key open Internet era

  • 1:01:18

and they were never like supper do not drag add to be interesting and he gave you a hit every single day for five years straight

  • 1:01:24

yeah but solve that one that goes back to what I just said of these artists

  • 1:01:30

choose to try to be interesting every day you don't have to try to be interesting every but you have to deliver the way a Drake Kendrick and

  • 1:01:37

cold deliver to not have to be interesting every day if you can't produce that music that way you have to

  • 1:01:42

find some other way to be relevant with your music like Kendrick can put that out because it's so great and then

  • 1:01:48

disappear it's fine but if you can't produce to that magnitude yeah you got to fun to get on

  • 1:01:53

here I just we don't even have to get into who's interesting who's not I just think it's [ __ ] up that rappers today

  • 1:02:00

have to be interesting but just now we have to be it's not that they have to be

  • 1:02:05

it's just [ __ ] up cuz what what about the [ __ ] what about the [ __ ] on the block right now there's just better with words than everybody but that's what I

  • 1:02:11

was going to say the reason why it's like that is because people started caring less about the music and started

  • 1:02:18

caring more about the person themselves the personality like do I like this

  • 1:02:23

person it's not even about the music anymore like that's why I said it's Cod which I still stand by it's easier to

  • 1:02:29

get on now because you can do everything but have skill in music you can be

  • 1:02:35

interesting you can be attractive you can be you know a tough guy you can be you know mean like okay let a quarter

  • 1:02:42

counter-argument to that would be might be harder for people that put all of their interestingness into their creativity and don't really have the

  • 1:02:49

time or the resource to do it publicly visually whatever who doesn't have the

  • 1:02:55

resource today there's plenty of people who just don't have the time to the right Fattah like there's a lot of like up-and-coming rappers that just

  • 1:03:01

have like really good photographers that they pay to it probably more than their producers and engineers you know I'm

  • 1:03:06

saying right but no you said they don't have the resources like resources are available everywhere I'm saying if

  • 1:03:12

you're expecting all of that interestingness into the music and are not really reserving that tank to do it

  • 1:03:20

in social media or in visual mediums or whatever is difficult I mean at the end

  • 1:03:27

of the day I still think that good music I agree surpasses all of it you know

  • 1:03:32

just let just be good at doing music but there's also we have to in any era of music there's always that middle ground

  • 1:03:38

the people that just make I music and still need to survive so they have to

  • 1:03:43

find outlets that make high music look and still be cool just get good at rap

  • 1:03:54

get out the way and let them know there's the middle tier that has to keep up with what's going on right now to

  • 1:04:01

stay relevant cuz they make I music they're not old but what he says I he's

  • 1:04:08

talking about like good good I enjoy their music but they're not top tier

  • 1:04:13

right like they gotta put up with it yeah but they knows those type of artists are just for the moment they not

  • 1:04:18

    that's not [ __ ] you could be I for okra who's been I for a whole career I'm not

  • 1:04:24

gonna name names it sounds offensive but there's a bunch of yeah because I it sounds offensive it and I'm not saying in an offensive way rappers or singers

  • 1:04:33

and then there's like you I you give us a good record every now and then or a decent project its knows there's no

  • 1:04:39

nothing wrong with saying that everything is wrong with that and hip up in our culture everything that's wrong with saying yo you've been hired from a

  • 1:04:45

law the problem no because if we were honest though with each other then you

  • 1:04:52

could help them like you can't tell an artist they benefit I for that's my beef with like just perception because when

  • 1:04:59

you tell somebody that they are a top 70 rapper of all time it sounds like the biggest insult in the

  • 1:05:05

world yes but there's a billion rappers and even your 70th best yeah out of the pool

  • 1:05:13

out of twenty thousand hundred thousand yeah right yeah I think there's way more

  • 1:05:19

not at the other rappers in the world definitely Oh in the world for sure some what that historically well but when

  • 1:05:26

we're talking about of all time it's it's the field so when I'm saying you're that 70th best in the world it's against

  • 1:05:32

everyone in the world I think you're better than the rest of them except for these 69 that's the biggest insult in

  • 1:05:38

rest well Union you know that that's crazy to me like it's like family I'm

  • 1:05:43

not trying to offend you I'm giving you

  • 1:05:48

some real shoes that are jobs for 70 in this day and age too cuz I'll never

  • 1:05:54

sound or look at number 60 farm layer you don't think I'm better than you look

  • 1:06:00

at number one yeah I don't think you're better than him I don't think anybody thinks you're

  • 1:06:06

I think of everybody we're being objective we could come up with the top 75 rappers in the universe like of all

  • 1:06:12

time like without argument I think it's to opinion the air people to emotion

  • 1:06:17

yes hard to be objective in certain things but one Phil you know I'm top 75

  • 1:06:24

I think we would get outside of music you wanna do doesn't want to do it right

  • 1:06:29

now that's 175 cuz there's some trash rappers that made amazing music and

  • 1:06:36

change people's lives so a hundred percent cuz I will go all you say where do you rank Pharoahe Monch he would be

  • 1:06:41

in the 75 regardless of how you feel about his music right I don't care if

  • 1:06:47

you've never heard his music he's in the 75 Sagra fee you're talking music that's

  • 1:06:58

why I'd hate that covers all the time we can make that list but we would have to say what are we basing this on we would

  • 1:07:04

have to have categories like checkpoints yeah discography as to what all impacts

  • 1:07:11

all of that is great but those would be and I agree we should have all that but there would be extensions of rap and my

  • 1:07:18

list would star at ability to rap I think that's where my list would start but it has to be

  • 1:07:24

other things though 100 with a bit obvious what's the rap with my premise

  • 1:07:29

is if my base is that I don't see a way where I can come up with 75 people and

  • 1:07:35

not have Pharoahe Monch on there oh right no I agree now discography and all

  • 1:07:42

that other impact and you know accolades that might put somebody down a little

  • 1:07:47

further down in the list but yeah I think we should be able to do it up alright let's get off that speaking of

  • 1:07:53

good music good music let's do it where

  • 1:08:03

would I even play Anderson pop music right here everywhere this house

  • 1:08:09

Anderson PAC music friendly oh my god it feels like Anderson boy yeah you gotta

  • 1:08:15

be plans around gotta be glanced around with our work Oh a cat cat yeah golf on a screen is a

  • 1:08:25

bad time to sports right now might kick my shoes off ain't gonna live Rory man

  • 1:08:31

Samson might have got you out is sound to rory album see that's why i [ __ ] with

  • 1:08:49

anderson bring beggin back [ __ ] all you [ __ ] it's too cool begging is back yeah you can't arm be a

  • 1:08:56

    nut bag [Music] [Applause] [Music]

  • 1:09:05

if I spoke in there um you gotta beg if you're gonna what if you got smokey on your album you got a bag is it safe to

  • 1:09:13

say that we were correct about and some parks last project I mean we don't have any information to support that but just

  • 1:09:18

listening to the new album the last album was forced out I mean I think we I

  • 1:09:26

think we have the answers by how quickly put this out don't work that quick not

  • 1:09:31

baby Jaxen you know the powers that be said no you wanna go this direction I would need to hear the powers that be

  • 1:09:38

tell me that y'all heard this album and decided to go with the other one yeah

  • 1:09:47

let's get down to it man let's speed this up here and a mission

  • 1:09:55

ain't none but a baby baby - baby 2010 - yeah he's a descendant yeah here we go

  • 1:10:02

he's hot he's highly influenced listen [Music]

  • 1:10:15

    what is happening ready

  • 1:10:22

that's called the pocket how does he just that's out of pocket put in Pat's

  • 1:10:29

the pocket reaches this is the pockets the pockets when you take your pockets

  • 1:10:35

out they still on the pocket they lay here the drums for you all that needed

  • 1:10:41

the drums he was on his own ledge

  • 1:11:09

DJ Joe I need to see I need to read that

  • 1:11:15

[ __ ] on a piece of paper yeah you got playing mr. Eric Andre verses back a

  • 1:11:20

couple times and be like oh Sh well what was he thinking just now what's up with him is he okay I wonder

  • 1:11:26

who I want to sit down Roger mm just ask who gives you your weed that might be

  • 1:11:34

sober you can't write that sober I'm sorry happy I think is the first time

  • 1:11:43

Andre is like kind of stayed on topic when you got a feature that's my favorite part about Andre it usually

  • 1:11:48

gets a feature what's your least favorite part about lingerie then I

  • 1:11:55

    haven't met him in Soho I'm 30 30 no

  • 1:12:20

listen and I won't even tell you all that when I go on these basketball metaphor things and like I picture us is

  • 1:12:27

like the triangle often this is a sick-ass right what you add on a

  • 1:12:33

    triangle [Music]

  • 1:12:40

okay okay okay okay okay okay whoa you

  • 1:14:08

Ron Harper no little Harpe no BJ

  • 1:14:21

No - that's the - okay no Joey

  • 1:15:23

Erikson just do it I play both Erikson

  • 1:15:53

this summer the two on to racial war black versus white and a park near you

  • 1:16:00

guys I don't know how we got to that from three K but the race war constant

  • 1:16:07

king's revolution will be televised and we never get in the top 50 albums yet

  • 1:16:12

    whoo [Laughter] brainy coming next

  • 1:16:18

feel good kid maad city boy should

  • 1:16:23

happen come on Rory where's your list I mean the three things I don't yes all right now I got moisture than list oh no

  • 1:16:29

no I got it I got it William Anderson oh yeah we didn't we didn't talk about okay this is fire okay

  • 1:16:36

we only talk about [ __ ] that's trash if you do not have Anderson Park's new

  • 1:16:42

album get it the whole thing is fire yeah let's focus on my favorite so it

  • 1:16:48

sounds like I'm a hater when I come up here and talk because the [ __ ] that's fire like what is there to say right that's is nothing but fire on it yeah

  • 1:16:55

we've done some album breakdowns but not many I've only listened this twice cause it just got I've listened to this whole

  • 1:17:00

album I think I think I just know I'm my pride three times I thought he nailed the features I think

  • 1:17:06

he's in his bag this is the sound I was looking for like I don't want to ever sound like that guy that says this is

  • 1:17:11

the sound I was looking for and if you liked our sequences it'll rock back a

  • 1:17:17

little bit too it was like super R&B for him he's gonna be this guy he's gonna

  • 1:17:25

he's gonna be the go to God thing for uh for executive producing albums army army acts I think a lot of the axe is gonna

  • 1:17:32

start I like the Anderson in the room and having them executive produced albums hmm I think he has that ear and

  • 1:17:38

he me he plays mad instruments so I think he's gonna be the guy yeah yeah

  • 1:17:44

you know there's always that one that everybody just pulls like you let me get in with them I think I said this before

  • 1:17:50

but if you have it go ahead and see Anderson pack show go see intercept action I mean I'm gonna go I'm gonna go on my ledge you can play it

  • 1:17:56

I'd like Anderson to get away from Drake and that's not a slight to drink I just want Anderson to be on his own no

  • 1:18:06

just check this Dre I would just I think

  • 1:18:12

Anderson is extremely talented to be all by himself ain't nothing wrong with that yeah yes

  • 1:18:18

sometimes you got to get away from people to show you full ability so I'll get it I ain't mad at that you have no

  • 1:18:24

matter that all right I have a new segment for us segments just like want it new no girl

  • 1:18:33

checks in the school on a scale of 1 to 10 I'm gonna school when a new cute girl

  • 1:18:39

used to check my hold every time I did that [ __ ] was absent the next good

  • 1:18:55

outfit today she's not even here never a good outfits in school that's why your

  • 1:19:01

mom already kicked your ass right now we call it I ain't ever good officer my mom never got me to cream jeans when

  • 1:19:08

I had this why I was so big on kids

  • 1:19:31

white color gene went crazy when it gene khakis cream fan with the Hugo Boss dude

  • 1:19:50

you throw up I had to give the boss the other cream 1 all right so I have a new

  • 1:19:59

segment for you gentlemen one that will probably never revisit again one is call

  • 1:20:06

on a scale of 1 to 10 I want you to rate this gentleman's get my old thing old

  • 1:20:11

work back back ok a bag we are all familiar with yes we've all been there

  • 1:20:18

and more than one we've all had to write this paragraph so let's read a buggy's

  • 1:20:24

paragraph oh oh yeah and let's see I get because II look this is

  • 1:20:30

  • 1:21:05

books drunk it's all work back like a true Bronx man I don't really care about it but it's a paragraph when [ __ ]

  • 1:21:12

before that bag before you start it sucks with this generation because you could do this privately back in the day you'd be a little simple like quietly to

  • 1:21:19

her now she's like no no I'll tell the

  • 1:21:26

public you want me back rough without

  • 1:22:26

  • 1:25:13

  • 1:40:10

not trying to play either I'm everyone on was trying to play her she's just

  • 1:40:17

laughing to the bank and it may be a lot of topics that you can play her on but I don't necessarily think this is one of

  • 1:40:23

them are your dad but the lawyer family comes from their genes yeah you have

  • 1:40:29

that again hey Moll we'll toast at your graduation absolutely look I'm glad we tackled that

  • 1:40:42

topic oh [ __ ] I felt like I old Michael B Jordan apology I will say that oh now after five I will say that why because

  • 1:40:50

the other night um I'm in now some [ __ ] bore trying to get to sleep

  • 1:40:58

fiance fiance soon had to change his

  • 1:41:06

  • 1:42:53

don't be surprised when shorty has that [ __ ] in the middle of her chest in the

  • 1:42:58

summertime never [ __ ] with a real Latin chick if you ain't get white Vicks on

  • 1:43:04

    your eyes there's a vixen way what's

  • 1:43:13

that mean I said fixing up with spicy Vasiliy [ __ ] hilarious when you think

  • 1:43:21

about it cuz that's really all that [ __ ] it's spicy vaseline they used to throw

  • 1:43:31

the powder on there and just leave it I was like you not even gonna rub that in Y spicy mayo the fog may oh-oh-oh-oh

  • 1:43:48

  • 1:44:15

you sit down so it's 3:00 in the morning I cut on a creed to accrue to by Michael

  • 1:44:23

B Jordan I came in here I talked to a whole lot of [ __ ] about that movie and him it was a good movie I enjoyed it

  • 1:44:30

who's on Netflix ah no I paid for this one on iTunes movies or Apple TV or yes

  • 1:44:38

yes about if I movies of course I always always ah it was a good movie some malice I was glued to the storyline even

  • 1:44:45

though I knew the storyline and Michael B Jordan did a pretty good job even though he's still don't really talk in

  • 1:44:51

his movies that's fine he still did a good job he's good at all that theatrical act sad and just act out big

  • 1:44:59

thesis yeah yeah things and have a sex scene yeah that's it cuz you don't want

  • 1:45:05

to train for three months straight to not have sex well that's all they'd be doing this training that effect yeah but

  • 1:45:12

that Cretu movies a good movie that was a good movie and uh oh and I'm caught up on the Act what Rory and I've been

  • 1:45:17

talking about for a little while I'm all caught up on the act on Hulu again use promo code Joe to subscribe subscribe to

  • 1:45:24

Spotify I'll subscribe on YouTube too but I think if you subscribe on Spotify you get aids some type of who lose some

  • 1:45:31

[ __ ] I don't know so don't quote me but the act is a Hulu original eric-san yes must be true it's true straight is good

  • 1:45:38

it's good I'm all caught up and that's just some sick [ __ ] bro they bout to get to the shift now yeah yeah it's time you

  • 1:45:47

know which episode we get now 6 6 6 is coming how many total I don't know well

  • 1:45:55

it can't be that's a good question Rory because I wonder if they're gonna get into I can't

  • 1:46:00

be more than 10 I wanted I'm gonna get into it cuz preceding yet oh yeah yeah that's why

  • 1:46:05

I'm at the daughter the mom was taking out her teeth and putting tubes in like that's some sick weight right that mom

  • 1:46:27

they were of Caucasian descent more

  • 1:46:36

nasty Irish boys anyway I'm caught up on

  • 1:46:41

it is really good it's sick and that's a good question I'd like to know how many episodes are in the season cuz I'd love

  • 1:46:47

for them to take this to court were especially after she did the dr. Phil interview and

  • 1:46:53

how long ago was just elected it's not long recent Kedah 2015 or some [ __ ]

  • 1:46:58

ask dad 16 is what I think this selling eighties no she was [ __ ] dudes off

  • 1:47:07

Christian mingle and [ __ ] that's crazy FaceTime and she was talking freaky first of all Gypsy Rose is getting her

  • 1:47:13

back she'll freak was she googled and learn

  • 1:47:19

how to kiss me she was googling some steamy images

  • 1:47:24

spoiler alert well not really it's this right thing yeah it so it's real life too so you can

  • 1:47:31

you know I was sitting there watching it with with Sam and this is a bit of a spoiler but when spoiler alert she loses

  • 1:47:36

her virginity in the movie theater on the floor and Sam was like oh my god that's disgusting

  • 1:47:42

I was like that was the least disgusting thing about the whole show Ramona had her whole TV me and my man's in you

  • 1:47:52

gotta get anywhere you could get it [ __ ] every one of her teeth removed on her face that's disgusting [ __ ] on the

  • 1:47:57

bathroom floors you know normal Friday

  • 1:48:02

that lost a Virgili on a park bench she was trying to become the guardian of an

  • 1:48:08

adult some well sure but I will say I think

  • 1:48:14

y'all might have said this up before before I was watching it but boy they killing him rolls yeah yeah the young

  • 1:48:21

lady playing gypsy delayed I said yes

  • 1:48:26

Jules Oh young lady burning gypsy Jules [Music]

  • 1:48:36

you gotta watch it oh yeah oh so you should watch it watch it watch it um and the boyfriend the new dude the

  • 1:48:43

sick old Nick Jeep he takes gypsy like I don't know about your mom but she's now

  • 1:48:50

on my bed first Joe you are Victor by the way bad side when he gets in his

  • 1:49:02

Victor bag that's his button bag the last episode ended with m6 um here the

  • 1:49:11

Wolverine guy first was like all he was gonna do it cuz he's Wolverine with the clock oh yeah but then it's a good show

  • 1:49:17

she got a Christian is it's a real good show I was I was staying away from me because I saw some of so many docs about

  • 1:49:23

the real actually I didn't see that Ducks yeah I saw all the docs before so I was watching this already knowing the story

  • 1:49:29

but it's just funny seeing just enough back but well the dramatic play that

  • 1:49:35

they do on this [ __ ] I feel like TV is like fell off line that fell off but I

  • 1:49:42

feel like guy there's none of my shows the girls Sunday but no y'all watch game with the rules here we're not game of

  • 1:49:48

throwing that guy's got a nerd it up a little bit you know man sorry there's some dragon I just play game with donuts

  • 1:49:54

for kids they used to work at Hot Topic [Music] [Laughter]

  • 1:50:03

that was small what are some of your

  • 1:50:09

other aliases no just more all right address by the way small by the way ball

  • 1:50:14

by the way yeah yeah I don't know I'm gonna try to get into our watch like three episodes of Game of Thrones a

  • 1:50:21

little hardly nothing I was 30 but then little for it because I'm security in Denver I do I

  • 1:50:30

have heard that it is a great show but I just can't I don't know man I'm just dragons and I don't know well parse out

  • 1:50:37

tell me about if you you recently binge trite yeah well I watched it in real time but then I went back and read been

  • 1:50:42

just everything trying to get ready for season eight nah it's sorry the most

  • 1:50:48

epic TV show of all time I wouldn't say it's the best by any stretch of imagination like it's not really that

  • 1:50:54

dank like the characters are not that dynamic it's not that well-written but it's so epic that you have to kind of

  • 1:50:59

watch it so even if you don't like nerdy [ __ ] there's enough like sex and violence in there to make you ah now you

  • 1:51:05

show me a lot of cities sex and violence there's a lot of tittie there's a lot of

  • 1:51:11

nasty sex to those so though oh good cities some good cities in there I want

  • 1:51:17

some good titties yeah a lot of good violence too one man doesn't watch good - yes how do you effectively cast titties and like

  • 1:51:23

how do you respectfully I don't know but where can I get that you know we weren't

  • 1:51:32

really going for those thing call you

  • 1:51:41

know we're reaching out yeah we to now you know we just didn't we but this season weren't going for that that boob

  • 1:51:51

you look great but it's just we wanted a little droopier we're looking for the dryer

  • 1:51:56

nipples yeah that's all small areolas get the point across all right so either

  • 1:52:13

go in your bag okay thanks I want them to know that ish I'm not in that bag oh

  • 1:52:21

okay bag cool all right welcome back w

  • 1:52:26

jb p and the jew button podcast 101.9 I'm your host Joe button here with some

  • 1:52:32

tunes I don't have any tools well it's not sleeper time yet for two weeks I've

  • 1:52:38

been wanting to come talk to y'all about Stephen Stephen a Smith being underpaid yeah because I

  • 1:52:44

read something that said that he is uh about to be the highest-paid personality

  • 1:52:53

at ESPN once he redoes his contract which isn't set to end to 2021

  • 1:52:59

he has another two years left on it but they would like to extend him of course before the contract is over deserves to

  • 1:53:05

be the hoods paid which would and it they were guessing that he would land at

  • 1:53:10

ten point five million dollars per year for the year that's under paid for

  • 1:53:16

Steven Naismith yeah I'm really really nuts for thinking that's underpaid is what I want to ask y'all know currently

  • 1:53:23

Mike greening is the highest paid person here at six point five million and greenie does uh get up the talkshow five

  • 1:53:32

days a week in the morning I assume it to be one of their higher rated shows probably so but greenie does that show

  • 1:53:40

and goes home whoopee but I mean any why

  • 1:53:49

we talk about greenie right we talk about him from the show Steven a does first take five days a week Chris she's

  • 1:53:57

all over [ __ ] we I saw him hosting SportsCenter last week where he was

  • 1:54:02

interviewed levar ball Damian Lillard they get interviews from him he covers the finals see they make him cover golf

  • 1:54:10

sometimes he covers man sports and you're available 24/7 on everybody's

  • 1:54:17

show and then I saw some [ __ ] that said next week or two weeks from now they're doing like a great debate debate

  • 1:54:24

off on ESPN where they inviting all of their popular shows to come debate on first take which is the trickle-down

  • 1:54:31

effect that I won't talk about here but ten point five sounds ridiculous for you

  • 1:54:37

to be partnered with Disney yeah yeah that he does way too much work

  • 1:54:44

for that amount of money my personal opinion I don't know you know what his contemporaries are

  • 1:54:50

getting paid but looking at the Forbes list for media personalities it seems like that might be 10 million a year for what

  • 1:54:55

Steven Naismith does is ridiculous but my question is do you guys think he

  • 1:55:02

knows it's ridiculous or will he just be happy with the increase almost even a

  • 1:55:07

personally but yeah I would think that he knows he's worth more than that I

  • 1:55:14

wish I wish I saw something that would make me be able to confirm that cuz I

  • 1:55:19

don't know yeah I don't know the world he left he left but he left VSP n then

  • 1:55:24

he came back so I mean I think Rory asked me or somebody asked me how many other places he would be able to get

  • 1:55:30

that type of bag from I think they I think there's a few minutes other

  • 1:55:35

networks that it can pay him more I don't know if there's other networks that are willing to pay him more well

  • 1:55:40

what do you think Joe Rogan makes right now I'm just in general more more or

  • 1:55:47

less than 10 per year I think yep with all everything that

  • 1:55:52

he's doing yep I think Joe makes more than ten million dollars a year yeah me too

  • 1:55:59

you may I know but what does that do for you anything that's not a mile a mile

  • 1:56:06

off in his thinking was Howard so reg you often even she fifty years that would Howard snake something ridiculous

  • 1:56:13

yeah in the Howard Stern Singh had a hundred and something really was it that

  • 1:56:18

series contract is a year is nuts but

  • 1:56:26

how but Howard just a group of people is his audience was transferable right like

  • 1:56:31

he brought an entire audience to serious so you don't think say early stages

  • 1:56:36

Steven Davis would be transferable because I do oh yeah I would watch yeah I watch TV network well like we said

  • 1:56:44

earlier you can't instill faith in people so while I while I do believe that his audience is transferable he

  • 1:56:51

asked to attempt it for us to see hmm he has a lot of work over there he's got a

  • 1:56:58

radio show he's got the first take let me say he's on live coverage on ESPN

  • 1:57:04

products yeah so for all of the assets that I deliver yeah I need to be paid more than that I

  • 1:57:11

would need to be paid more than that if we were only talking about first tape hmm if we were only talking about my my

  • 1:57:17

number one morning show five days a week a cerveza I I need more than that

  • 1:57:23

submission I'm gonna keep an eye on his contract negotiations as I've been keeping an eye on all the ESPN beef that

  • 1:57:30

has been going on between personalities for the last five years so I'll keep you posted but Stephen a is

  • 1:57:37

represented by the same guy who represents Mike greenie okay I'm not sure if that does anything

  • 1:57:43

for anybody out there but it's important to note I mean I think the sports world is very cut and dry it it's ESPN in a

  • 1:57:52

few tears under like it's kind of this very niche community and we don't we've

  • 1:57:59

never seen someone get like the wild bag off sports commentary it's it's a very

  • 1:58:05

cut it's kind of like the early label situations what we've never seen anyone go independent in the sports world when

  • 1:58:12

I'm on AG bag but that's why I don't know how to feel because maybe 10 million is the bag bag well that's what

  • 1:58:18

I'm saying it's ESPN is that olds yeah there's a relatively network sports

  • 1:58:24

journalism commentating or yeah I think

  • 1:58:29

it's unchartered territory with Sports comment even they call me man Joe Joe

  • 1:58:38

Joe Budden Sports Network yeah the next coverage Jen Ross

  • 1:58:49

Jim Jim Ross okay Jim Ross Kim Rose oh okay yeah Oh Jim Rose 14 million the

  • 1:59:04

toughest yeah Bob Costas you make more than seven million dollars that's what

  • 1:59:10

yeah we need to fix that pay scale yeah Bob Costas has only been everywhere for

  • 1:59:17

the last 40 years right so all right he comes right I'm shutting

  • 1:59:23

up don't talking take whatever make what you're making playoffs playoffs start

  • 1:59:31

today the playoffs start today yeah they start today give me predictions goddammit

  • 1:59:37

predictions give me upsets yeah pull it up the rock I don't know I don't know

  • 1:59:43

Houston you know I don't know he's all I'm saying they have a tough MVP yeah Greek freak we gonna harden wall

  • 1:59:53

and that's another conversation we mean that James Harden is not the MVP this year the Greek freak is they have the

  • 2:00:00

best record is the best player in the

  • 2:00:06

NBA man I would tell you you cannot eat MVP okay boy he's not in that conversation

  • 2:00:12

he should be notion I mean what do you mean Greeks were averaging a triple-double for three years really

  • 2:00:17

have any players on this team and he's the best team in the league Greek freak who does Westbrook have well they're not

  • 2:00:26

best team in the league and they have one of the best two guards in league they have Paul George with all-nba first

  • 2:00:33

team this year in the Western Conference okay okay Greek freak as long as the fact has

  • 2:00:39

broken the bran has been in the past no it is the fact that that's what LeBron is not in the playoffs just a Western

  • 2:00:47

Conference he decides the playoffs because that seems that very good and he wasn't tamal I'm gonna have to argue things

  • 2:00:54

that I had that said there are the same games last year the eighth part let me

  • 2:01:00

just jump in here the 8th the the 8th seed in the West has the same record as

  • 2:01:05

the 5th seed in the East so yeah that's the West is tougher but the East is

  • 2:01:10

tougher than it has been but I pay [ __ ] the [ __ ] mud all I'm saying is some

  • 2:01:18

of these teams cannot afford to have a grudge match grueling first round when

  • 2:01:24

you have a very viable opponent waiting for you around two and often how [ __ ] go home Houston has who

  • 2:01:31

in round one Utah Houston has Utah yeah I don't think that's gonna be a walk in

  • 2:01:36

the park for you so it's done it's not I also don't think Philly has a walk in the park with New Jersey that's true

  • 2:01:42

well indeed because it wouldn't be being out yeah if MB was healthy this wouldn't well yeah but but he's not so even with

  • 2:01:51

him not with him at 70% I like New Jersey's chances of making it a competitive series who does Portland

  • 2:01:58

have okay Spurs No okay so Casey that's a good that's

  • 2:02:03

actually a great mention it's a good listen that can to pick up for Portland was a huge big the that was huge I told

  • 2:02:11

somebody I'm saying cancer was one of the best big men in the league or something he argued me under the table

  • 2:02:16

when I'm like I would argue too but see I see what he was know what the Knicks before they let him go he he was hoping boy he was whooping OKC too so I'm

  • 2:02:23

trying to tell you he's not one of the best big men in the league but yes well there's not many big men leak so everybody but what I will say about

  • 2:02:31

Portland needing a big I read somewhere that they were thinking about going after Hassan Whiteside and if that

  • 2:02:38

happened I like Portland in the West well not two but much better singing out the first

  • 2:02:45

much better too if they have a big like a big big big the Cantor don't play big big big he's just big and he could play

  • 2:02:51

right but if they had a [ __ ] that was big and could play yes but they still gonna give give somebody hard time in

  • 2:02:58

their first round who else is the first of all what's happening what's happening what happened obviously somebody somebody picked the

  • 2:03:05

magic against the Raptors though Damon Jones Damon Jones earlier pick the magic to upset the Raptors Damon Jones has

  • 2:03:12

bumped his head - yeah Celtics Pacers gonna be good pick the magic I'm just

  • 2:03:18

telling you so yeah Celtics Pacers gonna be a good serious cases are going home fast fast fast

  • 2:03:24

yeah without the best players serious without their best player in fact we if Oladipo was there maybe a different

  • 2:03:31

story other than Adam Whitmore that's a sweet big in the matter and maybe win one if that depend on how Kyrie feels there all

  • 2:03:37

right Jaz Rockets how y'all feeling Jaz make it tough I think six six

  • 2:03:42

I'm picking the Jazz really I'm not picking the Jazz but I think it's yeah a good series you've been pumping the Houston [ __ ] on all season regular

  • 2:03:49

season games in the playoffs I was saying it to you and you argued no I

  • 2:03:55

would never argue that he does hibari so that's you're upset mm-hmm well hold on it's perfect

  • 2:04:03

Spurs could upset oh yeah that's my upset there I like Spurs there - ah yeah

  • 2:04:09

I I see why I say that but I think this

  • 2:04:15

is Denver yeah digging out the first round know that Jovic [ __ ] gonna sit down I got trick for him he got to show

  • 2:04:21

me playoff defense he got he has to show me playoff bad I think Houston I mean I think Denver has too many they got they

  • 2:04:27

can score they have too many different people they can go to full bucket I would agree with that but they run their

  • 2:04:33

offense through the big soft guy and I don't think he looks playoff ready he

  • 2:04:38

looks yourself I don't think he saw if something just came a DNP named Plano fourth quarter when they was gonna ask

  • 2:04:43

bust all three nights ago that's my point if you can't play deep in the

  • 2:04:48

playoffs in the fourth quarter I don't think he saw hey well we gonna see I

  • 2:04:54

like just I like to joke I like what we're gonna see we're gonna see what what are you gonna do when all of them physical bigs or on the rock on the

  • 2:05:00

Rockets it's just hard to count pop out and I know he's gonna slow the game down Denver likes to run so I mean it's gonna

  • 2:05:06

be interesting but I'm a big Denver nothing's done think the Spurs going first-round issue I'm rolling with

  • 2:05:12

Jersey man I'll pick Jersey for my upset if I have to pick a upset I'm going with New Jersey I went to the game of the

  • 2:05:17

night I mean Jersey yeah the net knows Brooklyn don't be disrespectful I still chose eNOS are

  • 2:05:24

we still rolling with jay-z and the Russian billionaire Brooklyn got his

  • 2:05:32

tickets he's still in the building you heard that you're the rats you still own the seats yes Brooklyn that Barclays [ __ ] I

  • 2:05:38

understand it now I understand it understand what they were trying to do just you're never gonna be able to

  • 2:05:45

compete with the Knicks never know that [ __ ] was a club for real yeah but slow

  • 2:05:50

the Barclays yes yeah I thought I was going through a sporting event oh you

  • 2:05:55

the basketball game said networking event no that was a club networking social lounge yeah it was a lot going on

  • 2:06:04

in here but I was glad that I was able to CB wait so uh who do you have a science before we get off basketball in

  • 2:06:09

the finals yeah Oh state and bucks for me cold state bucks for me I'm going

  • 2:06:16

golden state will finally get to see Golden State Boston this year that's

  • 2:06:21

what I think this year we finally see it

  • 2:06:28

I'll go against your best bets Golden State Sixers I'll go nuts you

  • 2:06:34

think I would say that though but to college in the state sixes just to be keep an interesting ah I'll say Golden

  • 2:06:40

State Toronto I'd like to see surrounded I would like to see that yeah I would like to see on Kawhi Gasol I think

  • 2:06:47

Hawaii is is out of this world but he I think he's allowed night and we then we give him credit for we give him credit

  • 2:06:54

no but I think he's a lot better than we actually talked about and I think this

  • 2:07:00

year in the playoffs in the Eastern Conference on him I think he's going dominate he was he was killing in the

  • 2:07:06

West all these years and this is gonna be like LeBron gonna be mad when you go to the Clippers come on you gotta face

  • 2:07:11

that man looked at Manu was a bran don't

  • 2:07:17

look like you're ready to face that man is what I'll say that's definitely all I would say I'm not I'm not never [ __ ] on

  • 2:07:22

the problem wanted to go alone low ever miss LeBron he'll be really looking like he ready to face that man whoever I

  • 2:07:30

think LeBron don't want to face Greek freak is one of them Kauai is one of

  • 2:07:35

them and AD is one but he trying to get on his team okay Katie is one well yeah

  • 2:07:42

I don't think bran with the Katie action at all man oh so listen I'm glad you said that before we end this podcast

  • 2:07:48

please tell me why I can't be mad at KD and the Knicks rumors for the same reason that you're mad at LeBron going

  • 2:07:54

to the Lakers for everything outside of basketball KD is rumored to be coming to

  • 2:08:00

the Knicks they say him and Kyrie are fighting over not coming to the next vote is I first okay my thing with LeBron to the Lakers

  • 2:08:07

was you know I know it was a lot of business oriented things which is fine you know but why not go to the Clippers because

  • 2:08:14

see Samia is too much pressure when you go to organization like the Lakers they have a history of winning the Clippers

  • 2:08:20

have never won a championship so just making them a consistent playoff team is a victory for LeBron right so then so

  • 2:08:28

with that mix with KD I don't think the Knicks are saying Katie has to bring the

  • 2:08:33

next just want to become a contender in the East again so to you it won't matter if KD signs with the Knicks and just

  • 2:08:41

starts going content crazy in New York he comes out with a show like LeBron is

  • 2:08:46

running or the Knicks winning are they into play or won 17 games although they are they in the playoffs Kevin Durant

  • 2:08:52

can single-handedly take us it clears you then I don't see why the Knicks fans will be upset Laker fans upset because

  • 2:08:58

the the Lakers are not even in the playoffs like they're not even like I wouldn't be I wouldn't if the Lakers

  • 2:09:03

were six seed and they were competing and all that cool but y'all not in the playoffs you have the best player in the

  • 2:09:10

world you get a high draft pick and you have room for two max slots what are you angry at because I think that even with

  • 2:09:17

those things to learn and a young nucleuses yeah but even with those things even with those things it's not gonna again with the Lakers is

  • 2:09:24

championship or so fail I think those days have been over no not over it's not a fail it's not as a fail it's a fail

  • 2:09:30

are you from those they were dynasty not

  • 2:09:37

too many years ago like this is this isn't like some 20 30 year old thing the

  • 2:09:44

2011 NBA that's four years ago no it is and they weren't running the embrace the

  • 2:09:51

Lakers were in a dynasty in the two hour one of the dynasties in the 2001 disperse yes that's it

  • 2:09:57

so my point still stands they were a dynasty and they were a dynasty in the

  • 2:10:03

80s all right come on them the Knicks were never a dynasty dynasty im a

  • 2:10:15

champion sticks out too when 71

  • 2:10:20

you didn't breathe any air in 1969 and 71 in the year 1969 Willis Reed is

  • 2:10:37

playing it for that so you don't know what my energy the next would just be the next just want to be exciting again

  • 2:10:43

they want to be competitive again they want to be in the Eastern Conference playoffs I want to see that though we I

  • 2:10:49

do too if a basketball reasons I said it's exciting when the Knicks in the playoffs but LeBron go to the Lakers are

  • 2:10:59

you still I'm still I wish the best for

  • 2:11:07

    the kid but I'm still in the fence I don't I don't know I don't know I

  • 2:11:13

don't know you cannot know all you want I've been off that fence you talking

  • 2:11:20

about I jumped off that fence hey so hold on so let me ask you this as

  • 2:11:38

a Knick fan yeah yeah a chance to drive I'm taking Zahn wow I think you have

  • 2:11:46

sticks a Hemi John oh no no no no what with the first pick with the first pick

  • 2:11:51

I'm taking Zion I'm not never mad at JAMA right even if they took him with him one I'm not mad I

  • 2:11:57

just wouldn't take him with the one one because I really like the prospect the

  • 2:12:02

project design isn't to the Knicks have a team full of bum guards did I feel like they don't want so if you draft

  • 2:12:09

this kid John Moran at one he's your guard he's your guard no so

  • 2:12:14

now we got to get rid of Kyrie maybe one to come and I feel like they have plant for that for a little while and now you have to package all of these bum-ass

  • 2:12:21

guards so now you basically tell the league hey you can get any one of these guards at zero two nothing no value at

  • 2:12:29

all Frank Nikolai Volkoff career mudiay they got like five guards the

  • 2:12:37

other little short and they're gonna look like kids from kiddin play Jeff Jacque Jeffrey well I don't know they

  • 2:12:43

got a lot of guards they're gonna have to do something with so John Moran I'm coming in just no no no let them get rid

  • 2:12:50

of a guard those guards next year let Kyrie come get rid of all them [ __ ] yes I want to see Kyrie Zion Durant

  • 2:12:58

Mitch Mitch Robinson and Dotson that is the five I want to see Dodson I love

  • 2:13:03

that kid oval Alonzo Trillo or Kevin Knox yes get the [ __ ] out here

  • 2:13:08

Alonzo tree is way better than in Dodson which is why the Knicks signed him immediately this year awesome and the

  • 2:13:17

five that I named we don't need ISIL though which is what his nickname is he

  • 2:13:22

can get to the racket will Dodson is shooting 44% clip from deep and in the

  • 2:13:29

five I name that's what I need I need Durant or Kyrie or Zion to be able to

  • 2:13:34

shoot it to kick it to the [ __ ] that is 40 whatever percent from three I like it

  • 2:13:39

you can get a three-point shoot I like Alonzo tree launch I like him too well we net listen County Kings now talking

  • 2:13:45

about career and [ __ ] jump in and anything gonna be that's two one two

  • 2:13:51

jumping on Nick just cuz all y'all do is analyze we actually play [Music] I guess on clearance ice oh yeah yeah

  • 2:14:21

yeah we gotta have to laugh mics on me

  • 2:14:28

all Russell we got two weird we have fun this is gonna be a good time I got a core in mind too oh yeah mm-hmm all right good what else

  • 2:14:35

is going on what else do we need to hit anything anything anything Coachella this weekend that's all I got yeah I

  • 2:14:41

feel like I'm all be out there giving it to us right that will be the mall

  • 2:14:50

hologram that you see out there that's not really him yeah it was just weed smoke yeah anything else happening this

  • 2:15:01

weekend we don't know I'll be in Chicago for dusa Palooza do say blues okay got

  • 2:15:12

you sold out we almost there tickets tickets are still available if you're hearing this at this point if you

  • 2:15:17
