- 8:07

- 9:06
[Laughter] funny though just joke contemplating
- 9:13
looking at the summit's like I could put him away he was even there cuz I mean
- 9:20
she did kind of cops came at meto uh just a car for prints and really get this sucker like we're gonna get him now
- 9:28
well he got a partial no they don't get
- 9:35
your fingerprints and arrest to you this was gonna happen that was the thing it
- 9:41
was like well even if we had old print don't really say he stole the car it was like all right hey when they broke into
- 9:47
a home boys car out in front of my house he left here overnight he left his ID in the car it fell out in the car and they came but we can't
- 9:55
really prove it it was him doesn't doesn't mean that that's crime so in the court summons they mention anything
- 10:00
about my kid sneakers that were left in your trunk when it was stolen they
- 10:06

- 11:50

- 11:57

- 12:19
everybody listening and let's let's [ __ ] pod man was ready to part where would y'all like to start let's start
- 12:26
with a moment of silence not silence because it's a podcast but rest in peace
- 12:31
to John Singleton uh he had a he had a stroke it was said that he had a stroke
- 12:36
a week ago yes and then off of the stroke it's they said that he was in a coma yeah and I'll
- 12:42
be honest with y'all when I read that you unfortunately think the worst
- 12:47
sometimes yeah yeah off the stroke straight into a coma I kind of felt like
- 12:54
that was about to lead into the family having some decisions to make which is always a horrible predicament yeah and
- 12:59
it was reported that a few days ago that he passed so rest in peace to him
- 13:05
Trailblazer visionary if you don't know long list of great great great movies
- 13:12
classic classic movies are boys hood higher learning poetic justice baby boy
- 13:20
was evolved to snowfall right exactly producer just [ __ ] shaft mmm yeah
- 13:25
shaft what else come mother fast to furious abduction I
- 13:33
mean he wrote higher learning poetic justice and boys in the hood and shaft and baby boy like [ __ ] directing enough
- 13:40
you know what you wrote all of those and then directed them yeah the NSA will do yeah he was definitely was one of our
- 13:48
visionaries in our culture that put a lot of people in position in Hollywood youngest he was the youngest director
- 13:54
ever nominated for a film of the year yeah it's 24 Wow well yes 2040 made boys no
- 14:01
that's crazy because he died at 51 and and you hear that and that's extremely young yeah
- 14:06
very much especially to just have a just have a stroke and ya know no super super
- 14:13
sad news super sad news on the hills of the nipsey [ __ ] is just like a lot you
- 14:18
know I mean yeah it's like a lot of a lot of loss of very influential people
- 14:24
so our hearts are happy today rest in peace to John Singleton our prayers and condolences to his family
- 14:30
his friends his loved ones as well as his fans the entire actors/actresses Gil
- 14:38
whatever that's whatever that's called everybody in Hollywood huge huge monumental loss yeah with the passing of
- 14:45
John Singleton big super big and pox acting career too I don't know if we really would have got
- 14:50
pop as the vulnerable actor without John Singleton either mm-hmm so he's
- 14:55
definitely launched some careers just done amazing movie saris ice qu he was
- 15:00
also the first african-american to be nominated for a film of the year director yeah
- 15:06
trouble is and ever since it were yeah yeah all right come on give it to me your favorite John things a movie give it to me give it to me don't be sad boys
- 15:14
the hood easy choice very easy yeah I'll
- 15:20
go baby boy shut up you're lying I love baby boy baby boy can not be a favorite John Singleton movie it could be there's
- 15:26
a great movie come on it is tell me more why why you so blown away by the movie
- 15:31
because but I mean because of the way he told the story of young black men that
- 15:38
maybe trying to find themselves and find their way that are still living at home may have a kid like just going through
- 15:44
the hood trying to just trying to find a way to make it and make ends meet you know I mean and the things and the
- 15:50
trials and tribulations the decisions they have to make should they go so I think he told it from a very honest and very fun perspective it was like that's
- 15:59
I know that I know that story I've seen that story you know I mean but anyway he was the first one to really put it out
- 16:05
there like that from our lens well nothing for me to you know I can't none for me to argue with you about with
- 16:12
that because that's seemingly what he did extremely well was tell stories even
- 16:18
with boys in the hood it made me as a Queens kid be able to kind of feel and
- 16:26
understand some of what that was like on a whole different coasts that I had no idea I would even ever visit one day
- 16:33
because that's how young I was but uh that's going was yeah he was great at that he took me to LA before I am yeah
- 16:40
yeah yeah one 100% yeah and just I had no I left that movie asking a lot of cuz
- 16:45
I want to see that movie with my mom and whoever's you would at the time snake probably snake is hilarious
- 16:53
it's sneaking someone but I feel like I would vote for your Godfather
- 17:03
I'm allowed to sneak it was a nickname
- 17:10
little stretch somewhere funny Joey sea snake when I called you last week a new
- 17:40
monster tomorrow see what Nick what
- 17:47
happened about our favorite Johnson movies you guys told my boys in the hood and how it took yeah he told us the
- 17:52
story of La before I like I said I went to LA I felt like I had because I went
- 17:58
to the movies with my mom and whoever at the time and yeah he was telling that story of just I was so unaware of the
- 18:06
relationship between like cops and blacks yeah and they did a real good job
- 18:13
telling that story and I left that movie theater asking a lot of questions I remember that vividly uh to write higher
- 18:21
learning yeah yeah like we felt that one yeah he told that story rather well yeah
- 18:28
yeah you did that pretty good boy picked it was great
- 18:33
I'll even go just just more my generation I've always thought four brothers was super slept on the way I
- 18:39
love that movie the way he shot Detroit and quiet has kept the soundtrack on that movie is [ __ ] flawless like he
- 18:47
murdered that whole Motown gritty feel with that movie like in a easy-to-digest
- 18:54
commercial type way because you had Mark Wahlberg and Andre mm so you had a
- 18:59
people you had to you know had other audiences to look for but he mocha for brothers I always say that's
- 19:05
such an underrated movie it is I like the move on the Reda movie oh man good
- 19:11
to see the again not to cut you off he was Ecker to produce on my favorite show at the moment snowfall so that's you
- 19:17
know I mean again it's a great show we mentioned that earlier now that show comes back soon July yeah
- 19:22
ah so we'll be able to see what he was working on yeah yeah and I think so many
- 19:27
people bit everything off shaft mm-hmm there's another everything was bit off
- 19:34
what John Singleton started yeah I feel like yeah for sure I mean he he laid down a new blueprint he showed you know
- 19:42
film film writers and directors a new way of capturing you know images and
- 19:47
movies and telling a story and but that's the that's the the the great thing about it is he left behind such a
- 19:54
amazing legacy that I'm sure it's inspired a lot of young black film I'm
- 19:59
sure Ryan Coogler is a John Singleton sure you know protege or you know has had conversations with John Singleton
- 20:06
and now he's Jordan Peele definitely comes to mind when we sit here and talk about our John Singleton's gift and
- 20:13
ability to tell tell a story yes yeah and sexually fulfill makers he was like there there Jordan you know I mean for
- 20:20
black kids he's like there there Mike fulfilling filmmakers that you have to look up to John Singleton if you're into
- 20:26
filmmaking it right and as a young african-american so I mean you know again he'll up on an amazing legacy and
- 20:32
no rest in peace but his work definitely lives on 100 percent 100 percent boys no
- 20:37
hood for me for sure yeah all right so from from one trailblazer to the next
- 20:44
Rory and myself attended to b-sides concert without mall mall was to Hollywood to come with us
- 20:50
no we assumed he was behind like the drummer or the bass player of the whole time yeah we thought you were still here
- 20:57
man I thought she was on stage I felt like I was there everybody else was there it was a lot of people there yeah
- 21:04
it was a lot of people there um push it sold out in [ __ ] two seconds so I guess hold and Webster Hall and I get it
- 21:12
that that was the reopening of Webster Hall but I wouldn't mind seeing that show
- 21:17
a bigger venue yeah I mean I like to see of it because it's besides like let's keep it a small stage anything under
- 21:25
5,000 people is gonna be intimate with Internet's with very very true I mean
- 21:30
but this was even smaller because he did Terminal 5 I think for the first one which is probably double the size of
- 21:35
that Ballroom in Webster oh so this was even more felt like Hova sops almost
- 21:40
like how close you were even if you were in the back of the room to hold on that small last stage mm with a full band
- 21:47
like it just it didn't look normal yeah but in a good way they had the entire block blocked off police couldn't
- 21:54
drive up or down it a very secure space everything as I would expect with a
- 22:00
concert of that magnitude I just thought it was a bar that he the passes were
- 22:06
real money that was crazy to me that was not real money it was water pass I had
- 22:12
one room are you sure the grip they had
- 22:21
to create but none that passed I have no money oh and the passage that I saw was rose real $20 bills Oh female that might
- 22:27
even like a quality backstage oh that was crazy
- 22:33
the pass is real money okay oh yeah that's some different type [ __ ] ya know
- 22:38
very some rich live band look great back there yes I just want to make sure
- 22:49
nothing smoke that [ __ ] does oriented going to get like the right people yeah
- 22:56
yeah well the right people would want to get with hope yeah easy but he's worked with 1500 for a long time yeah like
- 23:02
that's not the first time I know but it makes sense makes all the sense that makes all the sense in the universe dude
- 23:08
that's 15 other than I didn't know mmm well yeah then them just going from doing arenas with him and damn and guru
- 23:15
and all them trying to get the sound right in there that was one of the most crisp and I've thrown a lot of [ __ ] in
- 23:21
Webster all right that some of y'all have been - it don't sound that great yeah that [ __ ] sounded perfect well I
- 23:28
was I was looking at the setup just because you gotta pay attention to detail and it looked different from the normal
- 23:33
setting had it [ __ ] going on guys I mean it wasn't the same setup from to say
- 23:38
Palooza no no but the sound is thank you
- 23:49
would never know the sound did sound really really good yeah very very crisp you go every single instrument was level
- 23:57
to [ __ ] perfection I gotta say he smoked that setlist I gotta be honest he
- 24:04
smoked that setlist cuz I was thinking off the first b-side list I looked at
- 24:10
that on our way to the venue and I was like alright he's gonna have to dig if he wants cuz he did real b-sides at that
- 24:16
first one he's gonna have to dig to like s Carter collection [ __ ] at this point and them shits was like Seaside's hmm I
- 24:24
don't know how he knew the lyrics to that I don't care how much time you had prior you're a machine to remember that
- 24:31
specific set list of things you've never performed well I mean when you you know when you write songs I mean isn't aged I
- 24:39
mean I'm sure joking attested that you take about two or three days and you pretty much it comes to washing up yeah
- 24:45
muscle memory kicks in yeah but if you if you spit that once in your whole life is that still muscle memory yeah like
- 24:52
I'm asking I would say their songs like if there was a freestyle a clue freestyle that you had would it still
- 24:58
have muscle memory no that's why I think this isn't saying like you can always
- 25:04
think of a record you perform at times of course muscle memory kick in them but if it's some [ __ ] that you did one off
- 25:09
real quick this was one time I mean again with some of them records that he was performing it I thought to myself I
- 25:15
would judge you if you don't know the words it is he skipped a beat in Alor I
- 25:20
would have looked at him totally different oh I don't count alors oh yeah yeah no lore he's performed Oh plenty of Tom's well like the records I
- 25:27
wanted to hear but even if she's somehow someway I don't think he's ever performed that he should know that one
- 25:33
but still if he's if we go by one take hold he spit it once in his life he's never hold up Rory I never believed one
- 25:40
take hold when he said it no I've seen
- 25:48
him spit a verse without stopping but not saying that he doesn't he that he doesn't know I've definitely seen him
- 25:56
spit 30 to 40 bucks
- 26:04
okay but even even if you hope the negative came and made punch in seem wack right whatever that one take hold
- 26:14
and I'm gonna write it down one noms
- 26:20
lane even if it is just one night that you spit that how many times you punched in I still think that's amazing give us
- 26:28
give us some more to setlist for the people who were unable to attend there's a lot of songs right that's 20 some songs yeah I can run through a quick
- 26:34
some people hey don't you know come and get me oh my he did comment way stuff some of these stuff he took off my list
- 26:43
100% because he said sure enough these songs and on my list come and get me what knowing if am I almost lost my mom
- 26:49
come and get me Kenny boy ain't have a fedora an epidural but man you can't
- 26:55
look nuts in there but everybody was like that that's why more whatever you heard what's happening about mice like I
- 27:01
can't be mad I can't be mad at anybody being in that building a reciting [ __ ] word for word mm-hmm like being fanned
- 27:08
out fam I was in the back upstairs with my eyes closed look with my head in the
- 27:13
sky rapping words put a cup in my hand chillin having a blast I wasn't even looking out I couldn't see the stage and
- 27:20
I didn't want to see the stage yeah well me and man Biggs was talking Saturday night and you know it's always it's
- 27:25
always fun to hear him talk about it because he was there from the beginning he's still in awe of a lot of [ __ ] that Jay does and he was saying he was like
- 27:33
you know it's crazy because you don't he doesn't get to be a fan like Biggs is never really a fan and that was like one
- 27:39
of the first nights where he was like in the crowd and he just wanted to experience it with the with the crowd
- 27:44
and he said he was like yo hope is he's our Frank Sinatra like whatever Saul was
- 27:50
he'll be 50 years old in December right and he's he still as sharp as he is he still as innovative as he is he's
- 27:57
bought the culture 2530 years with him and his audience is now grown and they
- 28:03
have kids and they probably have grandkids and he's still the top dog like you know we talk about Jay loud on
- 28:09
his podcast but it's plays I mean I'll cut you up I think I think it was me and you six years ago we was having a
- 28:15
conversation about Jay being the first 50 year old rapper to drop album and people want to hear my people hear him
- 28:22
rap absolutely so now here we are he's about to be 50 and it still it still
- 28:27
feels like he's 30 watts and doing it in the correct way cuz hip hop's so young
- 28:32
this is really the first rapper and no disrespect to other older rappers that we've seen age so gracefully and give us
- 28:39
a blueprint no pun on how to age and rap because I've seen how the rock and roll artists how they age right they're just
- 28:45
gonna do a world tour and they'll put out six Greatest Hits records and then maybe slip one in mm-hmm we've never
- 28:51
seen hip hop age let me jump in before y'all listen to Rory and get [ __ ] y'all
- 28:56
don't all have to watch home and do it that way there are a million other great
- 29:02
older rappers that you could watch and emulate and add some [ __ ] to that's why
- 29:08
that's not what I was saying at all no no no you weren't I didn't want other people misconstrue some [ __ ] no no of course not um yeah
- 29:16
that setlist he smoked I was up there having a [ __ ] blast he didn't skip a beat on the words and
- 29:23
then you brought out cam and Jim all my Jesus Mary and Joseph yeah showing growth you know like we'd
- 29:30
be grown we grown now all that [ __ ] is that specifically felt great for New
- 29:36
York because I felt like that was the last one left new hotter with our older beefs was cam and Jay and oh god I love
- 29:44
the fact that he finally addressed a 92 break [ __ ] everybody could I'm so glad
- 29:50
that was like typical Jase [ __ ] like letting us know that he pays attention to the internet memes
- 29:56
going on I hear you're talking like an a Yaqui shut up like this said what happened was only a thousand dollars off
- 30:02
east that I lost its 92,000 that wasn't [ __ ] shut the [ __ ] up now well some of us that's a lot of yeah well understand
- 30:09
a lot of people was like that means he lost a million dollars like no it wasn't it wasn't like that I like the fact that
- 30:15
he addresses things oh my god and the way he does it and even the NIP [ __ ] that was but that was beautiful I mean just you know his
- 30:22
way of paying homage to nip and we know was just dope yeah just wanted to quickly get in the rest of the before we
- 30:27
got in the NIP [ __ ] okay that caused some controversy I wasn't sure if there was anything else on the setlist I thought the Nasia Rorion proven with
- 30:34
the segways because that caused a stir of the Naja which I think they have this
- 30:53
wrong I don't think it was just success world is yours dead prez they have dead press - we definitely spit that present
- 30:58
one in there and I feel like I thought that was me spin that [ __ ] in there I
- 31:05
was killing it that nice back in fourth [ __ ] with a band mmm was insane like the
- 31:11
fact that you got that cue every time for those transitions as a full band was nuts and Biggs telling me some he robbed
- 31:18
did he spit nas's verses and nos BJ's verses or nothing was not a put he would
- 31:24
spit dead prez on if I remember correctly world is yours okay and he would spit got it world is yours on
- 31:30
temper about it kind of kept going back and forth so I can't say they did the full thing on there it was great the band just kept switching back and forth
- 31:36
got it okay yeah that's what it was I'm sure he'll I was looking for there was a
- 31:42
lot of cameras a lot of big cameras up on that balcony I can't assume that this is not gonna be
- 31:47
something on subjects at this point your homecoming for two Massey you ain't got
- 31:56
to give me 260 I'll take the 40 no coming in on the back end with some [ __ ]
- 32:02
once give me 45 I'd be doing once I saw
- 32:11
it wasn't on title it's like a live stream like the first one I was awfully saving this foot I didn't cover the club
- 32:19
that night nobody was on the couch with Beyonce it over you're lucky why them
- 32:26
who was in there that was going to have the jokes that I was gonna have but but Rory Rory was there he was where I was
- 32:33
standing was absolutely necessary it was like super tight super pacts no I didn't say I just said who in there was gonna
- 32:40
have the type of jokes that I would have had in that predicament on me stupid ask me want to be in a car taking some Z's I
- 32:54
was a lovely evening we had we had a really good time I was I was trying to
- 33:00
be in the cut as much as possible it wasn't possible with it you were you in cut like a band-aid Rory you want to
- 33:06
tell us about the stir of controversy that was out there if I may first of all
- 33:20
I always want to zoom in over all right
- 33:26
so I have the free stuff on the zoom okay it's cool that's nasty like that
- 33:31
y'all never one is zoom in on Rory all right let's listen to the
- 33:37
controversy [Music] [Applause]
- 33:45
but he will do it playing eminent domain have your people moving that's a small
- 33:51
glimpse into what if she was doing anybody still confused as to what he was doing he was trapped they read - Oh
- 33:59
Tommy neutrons if you live by blacks they depress the asset and take the property back it's a ruthless but a genius plan and
- 34:07
family so now we fighting over scraps crabs in the bamboo book crabs don't
- 34:13
belong in the Bower where they do it something that told you that when the
- 34:20
barrel we gonna act like we can't even be sticking out the barrel we stand on each other's back brother this on top as
- 34:27
long as they stay attached they can pull everybody out I was doing just that I thought they
- 34:32
were magnificent stay close 100 million dollars on your schedule lay low tell your team to be on point in the places
- 34:39
that they go I never TV it killed in the place that he park
- 34:44
the power with you cause I got like the runoff on the club so of course my
- 34:49
brother that ain't lid that's the beach to it in BMI she was playing the plug and had a plan sometimes we thought he
- 34:57
made in 2002 joint that ain't no money but that'd be point so those 92 bricks was only 90 mm most
- 35:05
your mouth it ain't nothing for y'all to stop Wow inside the study we were
- 35:11
chasing out those not tasted money biggest chasing holes we find that funny I pull up in the roads that hole gonna
- 35:18
love me it's true but I don't want no ho I wonder one somebody else's ideas or
- 35:24
bad words true I've been going to sleep hoping it visit me that young King had a lot of tools to
- 35:30
split with me and we gotta leave the hood physically we gotta be that [ __ ]
- 35:38
somewhere [Music]
- 35:46
at least mentally I'm not no admittance crazy he smoked up yeah I like it
- 35:54
what was the controversial cause decry but he's well dude of course they are for this whole segment parts the
- 36:00
controversy on Twitter was from what I saw and correct me if I'm wrong him
- 36:05
using the word gentrify and we should gentrify our own hoods which led me to
- 36:11
believe that some people don't know the definition of gentrified no no don't finish the controversy first don't get into defense mode well what was the rest
- 36:19
of the controversy well it was that an association to his part in the Barclays
- 36:27
center and the displacement and disenfranchisement of however many
- 36:35
families black families so what people were saying was great that you get on
- 36:42
stage now and you're gonna albums now and it's black black black black black like black but that wasn't the case when
- 36:48
you were down with uh whatever developmental investment team that was doing on the Barclays now that's that's
- 36:55
that's how I understood it any yeah and I mean while I'm not not a Brooklyn native I certainly saw the changes when
- 37:02
Barclays went under construction around that entire neighborhood change but in
- 37:09
this I'm not making excuses just that whole section of Brooklyn closest to the water and then started just moving east
- 37:15
you know I do see their point there and hold being you know very instrumental in
- 37:20
getting that building up and what it is that neighborhood so yeah I can see their side they're saw instrumental was he in doing it um I think we hold a lot
- 37:29
more credit for the Brooklyn Nets then is on paper yeah there's no disrespect to hope but
- 37:34
didn't he like a fraction of a percent three percent of some [ __ ] no it was a fraction of one or something crazy I
- 37:41
thought well he stole that's but that's the other part of the argument that I didn't really understand and I just
- 37:46
assumed that was too stupid to get it but that that that percentage that that
- 37:52
he owned isn't enough to yeah it sounds like he was having a celebrity face was a face but that's
- 37:59
part of their beef right is that you were used as the face to displace X
- 38:05
amount of black families I'm not from Brooklyn I don't know what was going on down there I don't know what was
- 38:12
happening what I do know because something similar is occurring in Jersey
- 38:18
City at the moment and has been for a little bit quite some time is that a lot
- 38:23
of these houses during during during this whatever you want to call it gentrification they knock on your door
- 38:30
and they offer you a lot more than your house is worth yeah and then you're left
- 38:36
with a decision to make right so I don't know how much of that was occurring down there cuz I don't know how many houses
- 38:42
were there in the first place they tell me they they say in print it was a light
- 38:48
a little used light rail yeah but also Joe outside of people just knocking on
- 38:53
your door to buy your property they would they would go to a lot of landlords and people that owned the
- 38:59
actual buildings and they would pay them off in turn kicking out the people that had been there for years paying rent so
- 39:06
you're putting people out in the street and it wasn't their decision because whoever owned the building said yeah I'll take that bread even though these
- 39:12
people have been living here for generations they've been paying rent for 80 years in this building and they was
- 39:17
kicking them out so it's a little further than just okay I get it like you just sold now you kicking people out
- 39:22
that have been there forever but they just been renting and it wasn't a choice now they only asked right but isn't that
- 39:28
what gentrification is yeah yeah it's part of it yeah a major part a major part of verification is so the part I
- 39:36
get lost in is when black people act like white people owned gentrification
- 39:42
when black people act like white people owned gentrification what do you mean they haven't they other weekend
- 39:48
gentrified I don't think we can no shall we well again because we don't really own much
- 39:55
well we don't really have capital and we don't really we can't go into a Jewish
- 40:01
neighborhood and buy up property yeah cuz I can speak for we can't go to Bensonhurst and buy a property
- 40:07
specifically like when the EM that's gonna lead me to what black people spend their capital on but I
- 40:12
totally disagree with you that we don't have capital actually I think if you look it up that we probably have quite
- 40:18
quite a bit of capital you should look that up well I think sighs I think it's denied housing maybe not in comparison to some of my other
- 40:26
groups right but are you saying that black people are unable to gentrify for
- 40:31
those reasons that you just named well well gentrified because because then you didn't you do it what I'm saying I know
- 40:37
gentrified to me means that we go into a community and start buying up everything that's not our community and I don't
- 40:45
think that enough of us have capital no you're saying that's not our community but [ __ ] a lot of us don't own the [ __ ]
- 40:51
in our community which is why so mad when somebody comes and buys up the property so it don't have to be
- 40:57
necessarily in another community we could buy up a [ __ ] where we are and that's what that verse is but that wouldn't be fine I don't think that
- 41:07
gentrification is the process and renovating and improving a house or district that's it so that it conforms
- 41:13
to a middle-class taste it's raising the property value that's all it's not a
- 41:22
white specific thing even though the system may be set up with a lot of advantages to white people but black
- 41:29
people have have always had to fight against everything in the universe so that's nothing new for me and that is
- 41:35
what he's saying in the verse and I think a lot of that buying property is dealing with the bank's real estate and
- 41:42
you know it I don't know I think it would be harder for black people as a whole to go ball everything is harder
- 41:47
for black worse that's what I'm saying it's so for us to gentrify is a lot tougher than what 100 percent skewed
- 41:54
lately 100% that no no argument for me hmm but doable yes and possible yes
- 42:01
maybe for a small percentile of people yes but very much so absolutely as he
- 42:08
speaks to what nipsey was doing in his hometown and that's Jays hometown
- 42:14
Brooklyn but again I'm not from there so I can't really speak to the essence of how Brooklyn natives feel about that
- 42:20
move but can y'all y'all speaks y'all speak to that you all speak to how y'all feel about J's verse now
- 42:28
versus his role and whatever happened with the investment group in Brooklyn
- 42:34
and Barclays I think whoa do you feel like it's related oh do you feel like maybe hole was on that realized some
- 42:41
things abandoned ship and you know it's now telling us about the lessons he's
- 42:46
learned yeah I'm sure he's only getting a point oh one percent of the profit he probably looked back at it now say damn
- 42:51
and I mean in a story of OJ toe it is only a little tiny line but him saying I
- 42:57
could have bought a property in Dumbo for six million now that should has worth whatever I think hold like everyone else from that environment and
- 43:04
neighborhood had to learn she had to know what the [ __ ] was going on during it so yeah he may have made a mistake on
- 43:09
his way with the Barclays Center if how much influence he had with that but yeah you can come back on your mistakes I
- 43:15
think he I think that that bought the Brooklyn Nets thing I think he saw it as an opportunity to do something positive
- 43:21
for the neighborhood of Brooklyn but didn't factor in that it was gonna affect some of the people that had lived
- 43:27
yeah so many years and you know affect them in a negative way like they wouldn't have to move they couldn't
- 43:32
afford yeah they were at anymore so I think he kind of didn't want to be a part of that and so he kind of backed
- 43:38
out of it um and a lot of it too was probably just because I think they didn't they change ownership
- 43:43
I think the Nets move do they did yes it changes it was really a new group that came in that he wasn't a part of that is
- 43:49
true you know I mean so I mean his business [ __ ] that we've not pretty privy to but I mean a lot of it was
- 43:55
business but I do think a lot of it too was he saw that the community as a whole was kind of like now we're not feeling
- 44:01
this like that you know I mean and he's all he's um he's a man of the people so I think that definitely played a part in it yeah I think so and I mean back back
- 44:10
to what you were saying Joe as far as the the capital conversation and things
- 44:15
of that nature it was tough to begin with just I'm thinking just from immigrant status from my family coming
- 44:23
in immigrants from Europe were able to buy up all the property in New York City from rip like the Irish the Italians
- 44:30
Germans etc etc we were able to buy all the property in Brooklyn in Queens in
- 44:35
the borough and it stayed that way so Wow black people moved into all these
- 44:40
neighborhoods white people still owned it they just didn't live there so that's where this gentrification thing it's
- 44:46
still white people in white people doing it it's they're just talking with each other and they're kicking the black people out in the process who have been
- 44:53
in that neighborhood for over a hundred years and have the culture of that neighborhood and made it what it is so Wow yeah I see what you're saying
- 45:00
with the capital part it is still white people in white people just talking to each other and buying that [ __ ] up like
- 45:05
it's the white person that lived in Long Island that their great-great grandfather lived in Greenpoint Brooklyn and they just own that building now it's
- 45:13
like I've been I been trying to get rid of this [ __ ] thank God give me that a million dollars kick everyone out of that [ __ ] so wow I see
- 45:20
what you're saying with the capital and I do agree there it's different because it is still white people dealing with
- 45:26
white people you can't play both sides of the fence you can't agree with what I'm saying and say it's white people do
- 45:32
you know I see now because the property value is so insane now that it don't
- 45:37
matter your race that's a lot of [ __ ] money to try to now buy it up I know I tend to think people get distracted by
- 45:44
race often at times because this country moves on money and race yes but yeah money is important too if it's a white
- 45:50
person without no money they got a name for that too my trash yeah and I will
- 45:56
say this there's a lot of poor white people out there yeah one 100% so I mean
- 46:01
Dan ain't racism no and we ain't give you all that name I'm only speaking I
- 46:07
can only speak for what I know that people care for your well and in with our history this country's history can't
- 46:13
call white but isn't it isn't a lot of like gentrification isn't it based on like I think like people have to vote on
- 46:19
like approve of certain things like yeah that's part of a project zoning and stuff like that I feel like there's so
- 46:26
much red tape that still is it still is racism I'm not hopeless I'm really I'll say
- 46:34
ya'll say on that way yes yes there's all the red tape right in the world to
- 46:40
get through yes Rory white people are still running [ __ ] in the majority of
- 46:45
places I think that but all of that still comes back to we still are able to gentrify oh I'm not
- 46:53
saying we're not able to I'm just saying that I know that they would make it very difficult which is like nothing that's
- 47:00
life for a black person they may not everything nicely that's all I was just
- 47:06
reading up I was just reading about how [ __ ] up Ice Ice Cube is trying it was
- 47:11
trying to buy some television network him and Will Smith and snoop and and somebody else some money I mean this is
- 47:22
still America but that's all I'm saying is that it's very difficult for us to gentrify because it but that's like
- 47:29
telling me the sky is blue everything is difficult for us I was speaking more to
- 47:35
the property value that's been risen net when we bought property it was not what New York City is now so it was cheaper
- 47:41
and well we'll sell it for less money because we bought it for pennies so for black people to buy back the
- 47:48
community now with the property value in let's go with Brooklyn cuz that's what we're talking about it's triple what it was and on top of
- 47:56
that there is racism and it is black people so America is not gonna want to go with it it's [ __ ] nuts how much
- 48:03
you'd have to pay to buy back the neighborhood now [ __ ] insane property
- 48:08
I have this is unreasonable and new you ain't [ __ ] property tax thankfully
- 48:14
the way to hundreds and thousands of millions and billions and trillions is
- 48:21
in your phone this is not the old guard anymore where we were just forced to
- 48:30
operate in the confines that the government provided that's not what's
- 48:36
happening and if you just look out in the world you know I talk a lot I've been talking a lot about tech versus the
- 48:42
government and this is why they are gonna try to find some order in it mm-hmm and at some point listen is it's not at
- 48:50
all that everyone no mistake a few a few months years ago hey we should charge for the internet they keep they keep
- 48:56
trying to we should charge for whatever [ __ ] out here they're gonna keep trying
- 49:02
to come up with something to stop you [ __ ] out there from getting your phone they're just doing whatever you
- 49:07
want to do this is not free will out here yeah this is a [ __ ] dictatorship I agree
- 49:14
but yeah we can get in our phone Nick in the [ __ ] high school dropout you think
- 49:20
they want me making some money no you can't stop it you can't stop it
- 49:25
nobody I've listened blackballed let's meet so I mean y'all know my story
- 49:30
yeah guess what you can't stop it no more right I mean again on did you think
- 49:36
gangbanger nip is the [ __ ] that they wanted with some money to even be able to have investors and your word means something to go get with some [ __ ]
- 49:42
with some money it ain't even about us having money now [ __ ] could go get with some [ __ ] with money guess what
- 49:47
everybody has money now not everybody but yes I know what you're saying of
- 49:53
course not everybody but when you don't have money you make the mistake of
- 49:58
thinking you just need some money when you get some money you realize oh anybody got money it ain't really about
- 50:05
the money it got to be something else too yeah it's definitely a lot more yeah a lot more than just money
- 50:10
oh that was relationships are very important that was that was a that was off on a tangent Oh a good one but
- 50:17
there's a way let me just say that there's a way the person is I was just trying to explain what the climate is
- 50:24
but let's go 2019 that's all I was running place of course there's a way let's give them I'm not trying to be
- 50:29
that negative all for some hope then let's sound unless the sound like I like that joke let's sound like we offering
- 50:35
some hope hey we very aware of where we are in the conditions and what's going on in the
- 50:41
climate we know we have a podcast so I was trying to give what is it and what what it is right now a great way of
- 50:49
accomplishing that is together you know I mean like if we come together like if
- 50:55
we come together there's nothing we can't do but that's the difficult part is getting people to come together on
- 51:01
one Accord and say okay we're gonna build back up our own communities we're gonna we're gonna spend money in our own
- 51:08
communities we're not gonna outsource and go to these different neighborhoods and spend they're like no we're gonna support your
- 51:14
business I'm gonna go to the block and support his business and people that look like me and then we're gonna build
- 51:19
up our buildings we're gonna keep our buildings looking a certain way our streets our neighborhoods like if we do
- 51:24
it together I mean there's nothing we can't do but that's the hardest part of all of this is getting together on one page
- 51:30
you know man and and that's why we you have examples of people that are doing it like a nip or like hole that are
- 51:36
doing things it's like you got to look at that and say okay I may not have the money and you know the relations in the
- 51:41
capital that jay-z has but I can do my part in my community I can support my
- 51:47
community you are absolutely right well that's why you know it goes unsaid here but for me it's very important that this
- 51:54
podcast has two black dudes and two white dudes like we don't speak about it
- 52:00
often but it's important that all sides are represented it's important in all
- 52:06
the different types of conversations we're having like it's important and even the fact that we're [ __ ] friends
- 52:12
that we kick it the way that we kick it and it's important in all that shit's just displayed for me anyway like I like
- 52:18
I posted a picture I posted a picture of myself and Ian on my Instagram and one of the fans said wow how could
- 52:26
Joe have all the views that he has and have a white partner or white manager or
- 52:31
something like that and it's like huh
- 52:36
like what does that mean well that's what I was saying what does that mean
- 52:42
listen do you got if you if you saying that to me you got me all the way [ __ ] up and you need to maybe listen to a few
- 52:48
podcasts or see where I stand in terms of white people and black yeah you know hey white people I don't hate white
- 52:55
people actually if you want to have a real conversation with me I think it's all a distraction and Russians got the
- 53:00
whole Russians got the whole country just pimping it out I mean I mean that's Joe's brain your [ __ ] Russians just
- 53:07
the economy you know the wealthy versus the non wealthy it's world domination
- 53:13
parks I said it a few weeks ago and I'm sticking to it goddamn it um but yeah that was often a challenging
- 53:20
but a good change like I said yeah we do what do y'all want to go from there old something in the water
- 53:25
real festival ferrell festival I'm so mad that I didn't know I was about to say I'm we should've went yeah yeah I
- 53:31
didn't see why wouldn't a wall do
- 53:38
nothing we [ __ ] up we definitely should do the rain down or something MANET was out there 40,000 strong come
- 53:46
on festival poppy it's crazy huh [ __ ] Festival excusable yo cuz lo hit me was
- 53:51
like yo just send me everyone's names I was like he forgot my name names you
- 53:57
could look at my alley to the merchants where the flooded sinner
- 54:03
yeah that's craziness so cuz you ain't want to go we couldn't go I think y'all wanted to go
- 54:09
that's a deep in donger you're gonna ask us yeah I would have wanted like split the hotel good whatever no for the
- 54:16
fellas no a double double for the weekend of us get a king no we might not
- 54:27
be out of fun then that's the flip side of that everything but what's in Norfolk family knows that everything was taken
- 54:35
bro thing could have put us up that man
- 54:40
know - Oh Missy you could hit miss him sure she has poverty yeah not son know
- 54:46
we got a studio over there we gotta slow roll or yeah we would have had some words day for a few different options
- 54:51
places to stay that [ __ ] looked amazing down to Pharrell set list down to guess
- 54:58
listen man I'm tight he's got mad for old friends Sofia how the [ __ ] does he
- 55:07
top this next year well you know how you gonna top that you can't say that's what
- 55:13
I said whole flew to Virginia push was in Virginia Chris Brown was in with
- 55:19
Chris Brown boy Trey Songz out mm-hmm well I feel about Trey
- 55:25
yes we do I'm surprised you that's what I'm surprised I'm surprised that Trey didn't have anything to do with that uh
- 55:31
how long was it set you first of all you're nasty I'm surprised
- 55:40
that trading has something to do with that before Chris Brown brought him out being a Virginia native that was that
- 55:48
was a little shocking that Chris had to bring him out I mean I don't think I kind of know why festival papi let me help you out
- 55:53
help me out when you get a significant list like the way they had you do want
- 55:59
to add in surprises so while he may have been booked and paid when they put out that flyer it was like alright let's
- 56:04
just keep that in the Tuck we want to keep things in the total surprise they tricked me Ricky Trey everything there's
- 56:13
nothing like all right why I came here I knew that was gonna be there I saw it on the stage and I left well there's nothing then she was like well got to pull my phone out no one knows trades
- 56:20

- 56:27
deserves you [ __ ] right Awards a young lady brought up something to me overlooking mall killing the segways you said Awards
- 56:36
why hasn't uh why hasn't BT given Stevie Wonder Lifetime award yet but he
- 56:43
performs that everybody else's life school wonder is 4343 you forty-three
- 56:50
the same age as Stevie look forty to do look what he looks and what he is a
- 56:57
student Sam forty do we do I'm just saying Steve a new addition got a Lifetime Achievement Award Vincent is a
- 57:04
move well how do they gonna give Stevie one if Steve we got a thing at Ariel [ __ ] but this is what I'm saying
- 57:09
he's Stevie Wonder's not a cover artist no he's one of the greatest writers since someone suggests he was a cover
- 57:15
art Steve you guys nobody leaves for somebody else's Lifetime award it's like no he's not a cover artist like this is
- 57:22
Stevie [ __ ] Wonder devious hung at about ninety funerals and this is what I'm trying to tell you
- 57:27
so why does Beatty keep ignoring it new editions should not have a Lifetime Achievement Award before Stevie Wonder
- 57:33
especially it would day and even new edition Johnnie
- 57:41
we've devolved the old edition yeah how much soup in the war before Stevie
- 57:46
Wonder like that's insane demands new or dis an old edition Johnny you got the newer this in somewhere 68 43 come on
- 57:59
only 69 0:43 to 68 like you like what
- 58:07
Joan I know that forward that's Seymour but I'm just a farmer 43 words I'm 65 up
- 58:12
yes 68 gifts TV one is flowers BT bringing my money don't no no no he does
- 58:21
need one but I understand why he ain't got one yet why new hey I work to do
- 58:27
keep singing Stevie Wonder got work to do I'm never gonna calm down
- 58:33
don't donut don't [ __ ] me up you know I'm not saying what I'm saying is they
- 58:38
try to wait until it seemed like you in
- 59:04
the face at one point come on I get it better have Stevie Stevie do more
- 59:10
push-ups than all us right right now come on Joe I can't see it but just
- 59:18
sounding slow or can I see
- 59:25
[Music] come on Oh whoo Oh daddy told me
- 59:31
somebody told me it was my trip Brandon that is man proof online nothing is not
- 59:52
hard to make accurate seen accurate before yeah exactly
- 59:58
why does DV know what accurate is not in
- 1:00:06
lo topa carry no me silly our last road wheels on tour we stopped two of them
- 1:00:12
7-elevens yeah y'all sleep in the car and a couple [ __ ] who got out I got
- 1:00:18
out of the van and it was a dude that was blind I was walking up to the door yet still but I mean I'll admit it since
- 1:00:35
I'm in a safe space house watching TV that's what the stink is for jokes I
- 1:00:41
want to see how much silver ice machine
- 1:01:01
was outside before this girl
- 1:01:08
open the door slam blind dudes yeah absolutely
- 1:01:15
y'all never just thank God that you can see that's a horse in here yes
- 1:01:20
absolutely I do that often me too we take it for granted but it's definitely
- 1:01:26
like yo this people I like I see a lot of things on TV sometime but I'm like people lose limbs that had all their
- 1:01:33
limbs at one point I'm like y'all I don't I don't even know if I will be able to make that see when I [ __ ] up when I get ear
- 1:01:40
infection can't hear at my right ear for a day much deaf dramatizing what we're
- 1:01:47
saying right abscess when you can hear out of one ear like that wax buildup that's it happened to be on the
- 1:01:53
slaughter elves - I had to leave and find one of them what's the new fancy [ __ ] not the hospital but the cool one
- 1:01:59
the urgent care yeah yeah yeah had to find a little urgent care right if he drops it now man my ear was filthy oh
- 1:02:06
yeah yeah trying to perform like that I'm sure glad to hear affection this
- 1:02:12
winter shows brutal yeah I don't know how much your hearing has to do with like every ounce and like everything in
- 1:02:19
life that's one of my worst fears like
- 1:02:24
when some go wrong like finding out that like something up here is connected to
- 1:02:31
like something down there like [ __ ] is
- 1:02:40
important absolutely ah speaking of I don't know if we was done speaking of whatever we're speaking Oh some of the
- 1:02:46
words did anyone else see the pictures of Chad to go from any Rd in how miserable he was not being in the studio
- 1:02:52
outside in front of people anyway do
- 1:03:07
y'all follow push it to you on integrating events sometimes did we'd
- 1:03:18
see how what yeah I'll put your tea mr. broom yes did you see uh Chad getting the rightfully so honored at his high school
- 1:03:25
they had a band out there and they were handing them to award no Chad looks so miserable why am i outside get away from
- 1:03:32
me there's a reason why I made furrow do everything in the public so I could sit here in Jam he looks so mad that he had
- 1:03:39
to be outside the entire zone it's funny he looked miserable was like my dog let me just go in the studio and be as
- 1:03:44
amazing as I am d-mac d-mac he called me last week my cousin Dean Megan sold me was odd
- 1:03:50
raining Chad that was Moser random [ __ ] what he's like yeah I'm training him now
- 1:03:55
I had him in the gym like the last two days and I was like I didn't know whit Chad Hugo wasn't as he had to go outside
- 1:04:00
and then my cousin called him something yeah I'm training them like made about a billion dollars and said [ __ ] that I'm
- 1:04:06
seeing those so it's like why am I out here Chad hasn't been outside in 15 years god bless him and that's why that's why
- 1:04:15
I would love to know you made the soundtracks to our lives and said I
- 1:04:21
don't think they have I don't think they have a way to keep us alive longer than they're telling us of course I read a
- 1:04:28
study that said when you die your heart stops but your brain it your brain still
- 1:04:33
works like a few like a couple of minutes and so like they saying that people that are pronounced dead they can
- 1:04:40
actually hear that they're being pronounced dead that was a scary [ __ ] in the world that me to notice [ __ ] up your brain could still function while
- 1:04:45
your heart has stopped and you hear a doctor and telling my yeah he's gone he's password like what that's [ __ ] up
- 1:04:53
that's [ __ ] insane I hate to share this but I do often think about stuff like that what you're
- 1:05:00
naming so I often think about like in the case of a sudden death knock on wood
- 1:05:06
love that what would my last thought be like and you don't really have a choice
- 1:05:12
over it so what have you mad it like your last thought like I'm sure I think we're all just [ __ ] up your last
- 1:05:18
thought before you go yeah and now that I know doctors are saying that that's
- 1:05:24
what happens like your heart stops before your brain dumbass me is gonna
- 1:05:30
try and leave you a clue or something trying to be cryptic I'm just saying I
- 1:05:37
would think something try to whisper out [Laughter]
- 1:05:47
I don't your body is key you buy I would be thinking I'm killing the hand a Joe
- 1:05:53
just died leave us nothing no no scratches no the
- 1:05:58
Fidelco clues no footprints a what
- 1:06:06
you'll never get a sound boys speaking
- 1:06:12
of weird [ __ ] happen by the way I don't think in the grasp of things your last thought is really gonna mean that much
- 1:06:18
to you when you're on the other side like I have mad thoughts now too deep cool no more about it yeah I'm with you
- 1:06:24
no I don't think it's gonna mean as much as you think it's gonna mean to you no well no it's not because it's just my
- 1:06:30
luck mine's gonna be about a gyro or something yeah great let's are you craving gyros
- 1:06:38
is my last thought from Earth in my head always pictured me like just saying I
- 1:06:43
love you to someone that was holding me and they're all I was caring about me it's not a fear you have to go alone
- 1:06:49
hell yeah yeah low no no come on be vulnerable come on I don't really thought about to
- 1:06:56
be on alone is that has to be terrible
- 1:07:02
see someone for a million years or have I just like everyone left went to the store and I'd [ __ ] died that one
- 1:07:10
right there everyone went to the store now you want a board trying to mix something yep I'm only asking because
- 1:07:19
they always they always promote the life alert chains and [ __ ] the older people not really man [ __ ] y'all get me a life
- 1:07:27
alert or you kill your life
- 1:07:40
in hell yeah what are y'all better get over here it's real ford focus outside when you
- 1:07:53
think about real [ __ ] like man you got to say oh I'm not joking yeah getting a life alert chain is hilarious
- 1:07:59
I thought about that don't like do shooting at me and and me grab my phone to tweet yo all y'all caught now one
- 1:08:05
telling me to locate my phone I'm serious I think it's easier to just
- 1:08:11
press like [ __ ] off I can get a whole
- 1:08:20
tweet off before you get 9-1-1 and finish their questionnaire exactly a
- 1:08:30
bullet in my [ __ ] eyes so give me what happens in 7:00 p.m. no but I think
- 1:08:38
they're doing that just to keep they do that to give you a calm and to keep alert they get your location the moment
- 1:08:44
I feel calm alerts in in the tweet our year [ __ ] go not Twitter they gonna play it was just a joke that's why you
- 1:08:50
got to say I'm serious when you say I'm serious I'm serious go
- 1:08:57
out [ __ ] I laugh at you like a [ __ ] awesome-- you means a pump it up
- 1:09:52
[Applause]
- 1:10:01
[Laughter]
- 1:10:23
one take y'all the [ __ ] talkin [ __ ] do y'all want to get into good verse Cass
- 1:10:29
Cass or Cassie you awesome or yes I did
- 1:10:34
so I told you that was gonna happen [Music]
- 1:10:40
we are good yeah tell us when we said
- 1:10:46
the same thing oh well yeah well no but I didn't come on in and give it up like I thought was gonna happen because I try
- 1:10:52
to have some respect and you know Cass is from the change you want to be
- 1:10:57
rappelling season so you want to be nice but behind the scenes tell you we got a
- 1:11:05
love for the hustler I do it and the problem he's both they battled each other well both of them [ __ ] is dead
- 1:11:11
today that's what I'm get a winner on between the the problem in the hustler
- 1:11:16
was worried no the slop routers of the hustler and who won that's how different of the time
- 1:11:26
we're in because when he did that it was hard it works
- 1:11:32
cassadee versus berry yes right wait my
- 1:11:40
LTI versus tips on my own I don't make
- 1:11:51
it sound like I'm clean I knew that well it sounded like you were clamoring yeah because I was I was but I still love
- 1:11:58
cats let her play Cassidy sleeper to make up for it I listen I knew this joy can't fade me with Nas and Kwan Yew
- 1:12:04
y'all know how I feel about good see that's how deep I go my Cassidy bang I still told you I don't think I don't
- 1:12:09
think Goods ever clearly you say the hollow [ __ ] I don't think Goods has ever really lost the battle personally he
- 1:12:15
lose that clear-cut way it was like he got maybe couple rounds but I don't think he ever lost him I'll tell you
- 1:12:21
what you battle he did not lose no he didn't lose that like I said that was I don't know why Cassidy took that because
- 1:12:27
Goods has been preparing for that battle for years hmm he could he might have been able to do that battle for
- 1:12:32
something no but what I'm saying is he's
- 1:12:38
been Goods has been wanting that battle over for years he's been won that battle and I got it yeah under Cassidy wasn't
- 1:12:45
heat and really I got to give it to you man I didn't speak much about the battle
- 1:12:50
leading up to it but Cassidy was doing a really great job and if you're unaware
- 1:12:57
was this a URL card and don't think so they were in Atlanta right yes we don't
- 1:13:05
know [ __ ] they weren't in New York they were in Atlanta and it looked like some
- 1:13:10
great battles on the card it was Cassidy versus goods case shine versus Tay Rock
- 1:13:16
hmm I saw John John versus to work and
- 1:13:22
I'm freestyling in there so if I'm wrong please forgive me but none of those three battles alone it sounds like an
- 1:13:28
impeccable card but I thought Cassidy will get smoked
- 1:13:33
like when he had that bad Oh in the big room against that uh diz and that's what
- 1:13:40
I was saying and the big room I thought Cassidy did a poor job and it's tough for me to say because a lot
- 1:13:47
of people probably feel like I did a poor job too but I thought in the big room Cassidy did a poor job and in the
- 1:13:53
tiny room and helped what an advantage to be able to have a battle twice let me tell you if I would have my battle twice
- 1:13:59
different outcome that second go-around not different outcome a different showing you're more comfortable you know
- 1:14:05
you know the rhymes you've done it the setting all of that type stuff cuz Cassidy the the how battles went back
- 1:14:12
then on wax and what he did against freeway versus what they're doing on
- 1:14:17
stage is today two totally different things yeah and while I do really appreciate any of the rappers who have had a record
- 1:14:26
deal jumping in that arena because not only is it different but boy it adds a real microscope to the genre and I'm
- 1:14:35
always with that I'll say I'll say he held his own in the fact that the crowd was definitely bullying him at some
- 1:14:41
point and he just kept rapping like I was impressed by that like he was giving they were giving him a tough time and he
- 1:14:47
fought through it now I saw a lot of people complaining about the crowd actually let's pause this for a minute
- 1:14:52
and rewind back to our whole b-sides conversation that crowd that crowd was a
- 1:15:00
little off y'all I know the words to allure y'all didn't know the words but
- 1:15:07
you know that it was gonna be oh that's that's the [ __ ] that's poppin I don't leave my house so I don't had to
- 1:15:14
know that if you wasn't one of those
- 1:15:19
first people actually I can say your crowd it was always good in New Yorkers there was yeah but I haven't ever had
- 1:15:25
that severe enough New York shows where people are too cool for school I'm not talking about in New York right the normal New York show but I mean if I buy
- 1:15:32
if there's a boogie show and I'm a huge a boogie fan and it's a bad example but you know what I mean right
- 1:15:38
and a boogie is doing all the joints that he don't normally ever and you could put anybody's name in
- 1:15:43
there right ah I would expect the fans to know some of the words okay but that's the problem I have with if I'm
- 1:15:50
giving you my joints famous I quit to move music to concert and ain't no two words to argue in that mood yet yeah
- 1:15:56
black cloud yeah Cho you guys this isn't a New York crowd this is a fake cool
- 1:16:02
industry crowd they only sold a certain amount every kid get out get the [ __ ]
- 1:16:09
out why I'm out here I agree with you yeah I did see a bunch of office people in there that's that's what it was I
- 1:16:16
have with these you know with shows like this or released online because so many of these you know these new hype beasts
- 1:16:21
they got these BOTS that allows them to purchase things like but I'll even go
- 1:16:29
further with when I went to the 444 show and the only time I pulled my camera out was for I love the dough and I was the
- 1:16:34
only one rapping in Barclays Center we talked about it on here like that's a
- 1:16:40
shame yes you have to think who goes to some of these shows and who has access to these things it's not the direct
- 1:16:45
consumer people that are not cool but is
- 1:16:53
supposed to be cool well then I do agree that they or we or somebody needs to
- 1:16:59
find a new a new way to figure out who should and who shouldn't be there
- 1:17:05
I think Cole is good at that he might be one of the people that's mastered that hmm but I've never been to a Cole show
- 1:17:11
well he does the dial in a dream [ __ ] like he finds a way to just get his fans in that [ __ ] good old mailing lists so
- 1:17:21
I would like to bring up the fans because I saw a lot of people complaining about the fans at that battle yeah I didn't see the battle so I
- 1:17:29
don't know what was going on but I could imagine that plant a huge role when I
- 1:17:34
battle he played a huge role yeah you know just the crowd participation did the crowd was the crowd into its crowd
- 1:17:40
not into it it's a cure free square Oh would you like me to come clean sure not
- 1:17:46
necessarily true I just didn't have my third all the way memorized well so in my head it was the third was an L either
- 1:17:52
way the bullying gave me the out because it was gonna be alright we're gonna forget this verse but what we
- 1:17:58
gonna stop right one another that's top and be paid right but let me
- 1:18:05
not say that because that comes with since I got paid already and you know honestly and me and me and Halle talking
- 1:18:13
that crowd they let a lot of those people in for free like whatever tickets they did not
- 1:18:18
sell they just went outside and grabbed some people off the street hmm weren't necessarily giving a [ __ ] about battling
- 1:18:25
or who was battling anything like that and I knew that so when I went on I could kind of see it hmm I could see it
- 1:18:32
and I could hear it so in my head I would throw I would throw the third round hallo would throw the first went round
- 1:18:38
because we spoke and he already told me fan I got some [ __ ] to get off about what's going on here cuz it some
- 1:18:44
[ __ ] going on so that's why the beginning of his verse it wasn't even about me he ain't even getting to meet him after the first 16:24 something like
- 1:18:52
that hmm actually that was really the only part of the hollows [ __ ] that I liked was that first part no I told everyone to
- 1:18:59
eat a dick stop trying to bulge off battle rap and he was but he was right he was yeah he was right if I wasn't
- 1:19:06
playing corporate puppet at the time I was right with him but I certainly told motive oh yes you're right there's
- 1:19:11
[ __ ] right oh like even with this battle like I'm mad that why hoe I'm
- 1:19:18
hopeful that they find a way to make it more accessible battling some bootlicks I didn't catch
- 1:19:25
it donut form of a streaming service something the way Netflix has they have
- 1:19:32
a real ingrown audience you can get people to pay [ __ ] $10 a month or I can log into the [ __ ] and have an HD
- 1:19:39
version the second that [ __ ] drops it's not that [ __ ] hard I cannot understand why battle rap does not have something in place for that right now
- 1:19:45
yes agreed and I hope that happens cuz like I say I was watching some shitty [ __ ] bootlegs I couldn't catch it at
- 1:19:51
the time so I didn't pay for it I haven't watched cuz I wasn't watching the battle rap is another one of those communities and
- 1:19:57
and open up this Pandora's Box this way but battle rap much like regular rap is
- 1:20:03
another one of those communities where the the infrastructure and the payouts
- 1:20:09
and the exit money all of it needs to probably probably be redressed Hollow was doing a lot of talking about
- 1:20:16
that in our battle [ __ ] I was doing a lot of talking about that and mine in his battle but like in in battle rap you
- 1:20:24
paying me a fee to go and rap right mmm so great I'm taking the fee and I'm
- 1:20:31
going home and I'm writing my three rounds and then I'm coming to your event and I'm performing because that's what
- 1:20:36
you paid for mm-hmm what does that have to do with the visual rights you're streaming it oh
- 1:20:42
[ __ ] yeah nothing yeah that should be a separate that's a totally different fee
- 1:20:47
yeah yeah or or it's to be included in my feet yeah you should be royalties on
- 1:20:53
it certainly well yeah I'm sandy and y'all not giving me royalties and there's no publishing on this right I
- 1:20:59
would like to argue that there's probably tens and millions of dollars just floating around in the atmosphere
- 1:21:11
listen to me I agree with y'all but I think the infrastructure is set up so
- 1:21:16
poorly that there is X amount of dollars floating that no one is claim I would
- 1:21:22
have I would have pretty same way I feel this happening in the podcast industry don't get me started on here hmm
- 1:21:28
I would I would purchase a monthly you know subscription or whatever because I
- 1:21:33
wanted to watch that [ __ ] like in a good quality wedding I'm a casual batter a fan I would pay $10 absolutely to be
- 1:21:39
have access to all the battles that are going in nobody'll see all the yeah and you bring up an excellent don't let them
- 1:21:47
have an excellent artillery with all of these companies fighting for market
- 1:21:52
share it would behoove the battle the the battle entities to come together and
- 1:22:00
charge and make up some type of something where now there's an all-inclusive price yeah - everyone's
- 1:22:07
battle hands and hell let's just go get everything yeah every single battle yeah
- 1:22:13
yeah what 100 % of 0 is 0 yeah yeah and for the og battle people
- 1:22:19
cut them into yeah it doesn't have to be a fee you get a percentage of this [ __ ] the same way when Howe brought all them
- 1:22:25
people on stage it just didn't mark it correctly because it was a bunch of rich people complaining get every single
- 1:22:31
battle rapper that has been around a URL forever to cut in on this they get a percentage of everything y'all y'all
- 1:22:38
have Europe your this whole Marvel Universe MCU type of thing going on and
- 1:22:44
I don't really feel like you're taking advantage of it maybe once a year when you could pay your big names X amount of
- 1:22:50
dollars to come perform and put the video on YouTube y'all are missing out on on so much revenue you so much
- 1:22:57
revenue it almost pains me when I hear battle rappers in the first verse bragging that they got 20 racks for this
- 1:23:04
battle it's a joke it's a joke pains to Joe when I hear that it says that they don't understand understand what's going
- 1:23:10
on and it's [ __ ] up because because if y'all don't and this is the same in
- 1:23:16
music this is the same in music it's [ __ ] up because if the infrastructure and the inner workings of it is never
- 1:23:23
addressed and never realigned then there there will never be enough money to
- 1:23:30
supplement what should be happening kind of goes to gentrification talk to honestly someone coming in gentrified
- 1:23:36
I'll show you well yeah well that's what happens when I see [ __ ] smack hosted
- 1:23:42
by exclusive vodka some Jenny ghost about nobody fam you this you are you you are smack smack DVD 20 years 15
- 1:23:50
years having many years in and that be the thing that my said long time ago in here I judged [ __ ] on men and not
- 1:23:55
their careers in music no more like 20 years 15 years and that's enough for you
- 1:24:02
to now be what's the word I'm looking for I don't know the word I'm looking
- 1:24:09
for but [ __ ] that it don't make sense that we can only see Lux whenever some
- 1:24:14
battle company can afford to give him the 50 60 or 70 grand that he gets and
- 1:24:19
for them is difficult to afford that and put the whole show is the same as when I
- 1:24:24
asked Love & Hip Hop for X amount of dollars and they respond by saying hey but we have a cast of 2001 I gotta do me
- 1:24:34
right I don't give a [ __ ] right hip man holla gotta go do something else can see
- 1:24:39
they got to go do something else Charlie Clips win scene and a have along well you popped up recently but the point is the people that have brought
- 1:24:45
the John were to where it is it's um it's y'all job still I say create
- 1:24:52
through it on it all the time in the [ __ ] laughing me for being in that creator bag it's y'all's job to figure
- 1:24:58
out how to continue to create the ancillary income that's the extra income
- 1:25:03
in the genre yeah shout out the [ __ ] like Arsenal who went and started his own [ __ ] league and you know I'm off
- 1:25:10
on a tangent here and I ain't mean to get too much in the beylin but I do feel like this stuff is nice and larger this because we can never will never have the
- 1:25:18
capital to gentrify if we're not getting the capital in the respective arena that
- 1:25:23
we should get it from yeah oh yeah absolutely absolutely I said on stated
- 1:25:30
culture a little while ago give us the music in the drugs and we'll figure it out I agree give the battle rappers the the correct
- 1:25:35
money that they supposed to get yeah and we'll see a lot more battles versus the
- 1:25:40
good ones two hats day versus real see anybody uh-huh there's a be back [ __ ] out
- 1:25:46
what's the [ __ ] we like to be well they lie to be everybody would be back there'll be a lot more young kids trying
- 1:25:52
to come up and do it if there's a liable career stainable career yes 100%
- 1:25:58
[ __ ] shouldn't have to [ __ ] shouldn't have to create a way to get money in in
- 1:26:03
what they're passionate about and in five years later I have to figure out something else yeah yeah yeah like
- 1:26:09
that's [ __ ] up yeah like there's the marketing leave mmm it's all exhausting
- 1:26:17
it's all exhausting yeah it is all right so I watched my very first episode get
- 1:26:25
12 plus whole of man you right parse I'm doing it wrong I'm doing it wrong we converted a couple throw knees here
- 1:26:32
I did it you guys I did it I did it
- 1:26:39
proud of myself proud are you a throny that name just sounds nice to me I don't
- 1:26:45
know if that's what the combs says okay dad they don't know we made that up on this plane they were laughing at me for saying brownie the god he's right got
- 1:26:53
Scottie they didn't I don't know I don't know and Parks is not like you don't act
- 1:26:58
like a real Gotti not a guy so they don't respect nothing he says maybe killing me for Parks take on I like
- 1:27:09
Russell like personally I love Game of Thrones I know but when you talk about
- 1:27:15
it it's very casual it's like yeah it's a hyped I guess about it yeah and when
- 1:27:21
you when you air season it was eight yeah and seventeen point six million
- 1:27:27
people watch I could see how some people would take offense absolutely there's a lot more people coming around to my viewpoint but I'll leave that alone so I
- 1:27:33
was home alone Sunday night I heard all of the ranting and raving
- 1:27:40
[Laughter] I heard weeks and weeks and weeks but
- 1:27:47
this was the one they told me it's the you know and I'll be honest they said it was the longest battle and history of
- 1:27:53
television and film titles and I was like all right cool whatever but then I
- 1:27:59
saw a little tweet with some stats and I don't have them so if I'm incorrect please forgive me but it's said that
- 1:28:04
this scene took 55 days to film or this episode there were 750 plus actors yeah
- 1:28:14
and then I bumped into one of the videos and this is what really got me I bumped into one of the videos of the people in
- 1:28:21
charge of the makeup before Game of Thrones and the masks and just all that
- 1:28:27
type of stuff man did they did they come up oh yeah they're custom design and
- 1:28:33
makeup and washes yeah but they was doing it they was doing some other [ __ ] not not not not
- 1:28:38
too much going on over there and when they got that Gatti's call they just started lots of business so once I saw
- 1:28:46
that alright enough is enough what is this Battle of Winterfell yes
- 1:28:52
you got me there on the name Winterfell so I said [ __ ] I'm doing it I'm home alone I'm not doing [ __ ]
- 1:28:58
I'm gonna watch yeah me too and I'll be honest with you guys this was the first time that I watched the show without
- 1:29:05
ever having watched the the show right in the last season
- 1:29:10
knowing absolutely nothing about anything the character development who's who what's what dragons lions tigers
- 1:29:16
bears oh my so you didn't watch any of the million links that people saying no no no no
- 1:29:21
don't cry didn't know so disclaimer this
- 1:29:27
review is the review of two people cuz malls with me mall never saw it either
- 1:29:33
right and we watched it right correct oh we high beasts this review is of two
- 1:29:39
people who don't know [ __ ] about Game of Thrones right and parks and save on save
- 1:29:45
on get over here cuz you would throw knee come on get close get close dude oh no respect up parks is a real throw knee
- 1:29:51
man but how you don't say one good okay what time does Game of Thrones come on
- 1:29:57
nine o'clock nine a [ __ ] o'clock Eastern Standard Time grab my remote sir did you watch the
- 1:30:04
episode right come on respectable HBO
- 1:30:11
Sunday night show is come on at ten o'clock I thought Game of Thrones came one at ten o'clock so I went to watch it at 10
- 1:30:17
o'clock and realized it ended at 10:25 and then I gave up and turned loose coming right back on at 11:05 yeah and
- 1:30:23
1200 you just hit the button yeah weird strain it don't worry about it work so
- 1:30:29
nine o'clock grab the remote searching for way to be always hmm
- 1:30:36
I know but searching for it I always have to search for these channels thank
- 1:30:43
you I didn't know that I just use that I turn on HBO it's like a long intro so
- 1:30:50
I'm confused they would like a lot of previews yeah they got me hype I said uh to be a little [ __ ] wise and I were
- 1:30:58
you this must be so I'm height I don't know nothing but I'm hype because HBO decides
- 1:31:04
to shove all of the ads in front of Game of Thrones so I went to the new TV Guide
- 1:31:09
which is Twitter the timeline and I saw everybody else beefing about the long intro said alright I got the right
- 1:31:15
channel show comes on it was dark and that was my first question is this show
- 1:31:22
normally that dark no this is do they probably show guard with the dark this dark it's kind of hard to see why yeah
- 1:31:30
it was tough they'd turn the lights off and [ __ ] so it was so tough that at first my first reaction was why am I
- 1:31:36
watching this [ __ ] this is trash right and then I said well wait a minute you don't know [ __ ]
- 1:31:42
you don't know [ __ ] you never seen [ __ ] you don't know why it's dark you don't know nothing so let's continue to watch this as the guy who doesn't know things
- 1:31:48
good so once I got in that bag I was cool they started with a spell you can
- 1:32:00
tell me why but everyone raise your sure
- 1:32:24
did y'all know what she was and um no no there wasn't a language that was introduced earlier something new all
- 1:32:30
right well when she finished the spell you weren't excited about a spell more no not yet that's not where I am if I
- 1:32:35
show gonna start with a spell see Megan's never told me that y'all told me dragons and weird [ __ ] there's Belles
- 1:32:42
and witches family she said a spell and
- 1:32:47
all of the wards lit up they needed that dark it's dark out but I was very
- 1:32:54
appreciative of that because I could see now no one and number two that was fly it look great that was just fly
- 1:33:01
cinematography or whatever you yeah that looked good so then alright he parks and
- 1:33:07
save on who it's a bunch of different groups the
- 1:33:14
first group was now tell me about them
- 1:33:33
reading the timeline I was able to pick up I did not watch the program [ __ ]
- 1:34:12
came back and he looked at home you like and I was like okay this might be some
- 1:34:19
dope shits about that now now that was that was the White Walkers so they were going against you the white no parks the
- 1:34:31
White Walkers the way walkers are the
- 1:34:37
the generals I thought they would call
- 1:34:42
just the whites ton dead it is spelled from White three hid some what I've read
- 1:34:49
and again I don't know [ __ ] is there they were the White Walkers yeah but it don't matter now rack he's got doubt
- 1:34:54
track II don't say [ __ ] has to be quickly and what it didn't seem like much of a fight and then I was on the
- 1:35:00
edge of my bed yeah oh [ __ ] yeah they came back and told the homies that didn't seem so tough I didn't know who
- 1:35:08
leader tough - but listen see and that's what y'all gonna help me yeah I don't know how tough any of these groups are
- 1:35:15
supposed to be they're all tough but the doomsday was against wasn't foreplay they weren't dude's
- 1:35:21
wealth they were dudes I guess what the toughest of the tough yeah so the Dothraki who went out first
- 1:35:27
who had the delight yeah super tough and it dudes behind them was super tough as
- 1:35:33
well everyone's like the wildlings are also super tough that now Rockies are not a large army no not as long you
- 1:35:40
gotta suck that's important [ __ ] you gotta give me that so why would they thin the the can say while with the
- 1:35:46
horses and the swords they do some [ __ ] came right back though yeah quick
- 1:35:58
quick um and then it was on from there and then I was rooting for them I gotta
- 1:36:04
be honest so what were you thinking save on as a educated brony at that point it's like
- 1:36:11
[ __ ] up I didn't expect them to get the ass handed like like that they brought the whole winner yeah for the
- 1:36:18
light in the fire to go out that quick without any sense of any type of hope I'm like oh [ __ ] it's going down how
- 1:36:24
many tell me how many years they have built up to this particular fight since episode 1 of season 1 yeah are you
- 1:36:30
serious sir is coming the first name of the first episode ok so which opens up with White Walkers killing Wow the
- 1:36:36
people at the world won season 1 okay so with that so with that said though more
- 1:36:43
than that ever as a throny who's been dedicated and who's been invested do you or do you feel like what you saw was was
- 1:36:50
sufficient for that big of a lead up and build up cuz I'm gonna get into how I feel about our night King and Jon Snow
- 1:36:56
it wasn't it wasn't and how are your expectations for the night King yeah like do you feel like they rushed this
- 1:37:03
because it was the last season and they had to tie up some of the loose ends um yeah for sure absolutely yeah I think
- 1:37:09
absolutely I think they just didn't do the night King Justice as far as like combat usual like they had the scare
- 1:37:15
tactics they had all that [ __ ] what she's done throughout the entire show right when it was time to like alright
- 1:37:21
we want to see this like they've been building up the bat this battle like the main battles for the throne obviously
- 1:37:26
Game of Thrones but this battle has been like the secondary but sort of primary war
- 1:37:32
yeah the whole time it's like the underlining storyline but they're but they've never shown how powerful the
- 1:37:38
night King and supposed to be oh yeah so then why wouldn't it that's why it's confusing and that's why maybe I'm
- 1:37:45
inclined to roll with parks on and don't kill me throwing me something gonna kill you bad writing but I'm not gonna call it bad writing cuz this is the last
- 1:37:51
season so you got a clothing yeah I gotta see how it ends before I'm not only that you just got to close up seven
- 1:37:57
seasons of storylines yes so I'm not so mad at that me and Maul feel the same
- 1:38:04
way about Jon Snow don't kill us people keep telling me that Jon Snow is tough
- 1:38:11
and I I don't know I've never seen it here's it didn't look Jon Snow didn't
- 1:38:26
look tough to me looked up to you Morgan I think it's [ __ ] now I get it he did they killed him he died it came back
- 1:38:31
safe some other day I got guy read all that did a little research I got know
- 1:38:38
who some people are fam just going on from what I saw Jon Snow running he's
- 1:38:44
you mouth behind the night king and then I can hear I'm a mallow am like fam
- 1:38:50
night King is about to hear you he's gonna turn around and then you're gonna be in trouble and sure enough you turned around
- 1:38:55
yes that's you've [ __ ] snapped his fingers and now here go my dad homies
- 1:39:01
yeah all of them yes deal with them why would people call a night king [ __ ] in that instance see I ain't seeing all the
- 1:39:08
John's Jon Snow's because I have the
- 1:39:17
power to raise the dead yes I would I would fam as soon as I saw him do that I said damn I would love to
- 1:39:24
power to raise the dead
- 1:39:29
damn you're running by mad bodies I just saw a black some on Netflix and and the
- 1:39:35
dead people they was with it first of all he fell off the dragon he's like save the day cuz I took down
- 1:39:51
the dead drag my first time ever driving bumper cars I knew what I was doing
- 1:40:03
fighting the dead dragon airspace there above the clouds I knock a driver John's
- 1:40:09
no bullets or doubt making man far away
- 1:40:15
[Laughter]
- 1:40:23
he should have been dead at that moment when all them dead dudes rose out then that's when it didn't tell me that some
- 1:40:34
of these people could survive fire like somebody people have special powers tonight first yeah just a night well no
- 1:40:40
that's not true you walk through the fire when holder when they attacked the the tunnels he walked through fire then
- 1:40:46
so this is not the first time but dragon fires you thought would be different yes
- 1:40:52
yes not only that he was looking at the Dragons smiling yeah after the fire he
- 1:40:57
was like come on Finn I think I came all this way to like let you kill me yeah
- 1:41:04
the dragon fire like the Dragons is like the x-factor in the whole [ __ ] good anybody who has a dragon is supposed to
- 1:41:09
be like you can't [ __ ] with us yes so to see that yeah well especially because the dragon glass which is I think
- 1:41:15
created from dragons blowing yep smoke or bullying fire on rocks or whatever is what kills yep whatever falls pause
- 1:41:22
everything is what kills the White Walkers instantly that's what makes them shatter so you thought that the dragon
- 1:41:27
fire straight from the dragon would do some do something nah fam it didn't it didn't like smoke like making turn
- 1:41:35
around ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha like smoke
- 1:41:41
I smoked that wasn't nothing crazy but I still felt like he should have been tougher tonight King I think a lot of
- 1:41:48
people felt that way across the board yeah I think so that was only does this [ __ ] was raising the dead and all them like like we've never seen him go
- 1:41:58
hand-to-hand combat with anybody mmm I mean uh no yeah so he always sits
- 1:42:05
in the back and snaps his fingers and such oh so he's a delegator yeah delegate stew beef I hang a lot at scene
- 1:42:12
um that's and I'm pretty sure was early when shorty was trapped wherever
- 1:42:18
wherever that was with all of them dead people oh yeah library yeah all right
- 1:42:24
fan the heroes the Sham arias she know I
- 1:42:30
could tell soon when she bumped into the female zombie she put that [ __ ] hatch in her throat although she's not the [ __ ] ya know we gotta have them now are
- 1:42:37
you are is a piece are is obese yeah absolutely John snows begin to lash it
- 1:42:44
off like that Jon Snow inky none of that fan Jon Snow let Arya come and do everything see waitress little sister
- 1:42:51
Jon Snow the winter is coming girls getting high tomorrow he ill his little sister did it pop Oh God
- 1:42:57
turns out his cold let the hook rock for are you
- 1:43:07
this is your plane as far EO is a hero a
- 1:43:15
little weird for an oz record but I will
- 1:43:21
never understand why now it's got killed for their song I won't know it was all Naz is like a template commercial [ __ ] I
- 1:43:28
was never mad at this one yeah yeah pull the downbeat in the polar dawn time that wasn't that yo you know what hey hey all
- 1:43:36
right like when he was in his commercial now a time out Kyle polo is nice this is going on for entirely too long and I
- 1:43:43
don't really ever get in my defende NOS bag but this has been easily like 25
- 1:43:49
bring up for a while and I gotta say all
- 1:43:54
of those commercial ships are fire knives everyone puts fire no not yo
- 1:44:04
weirdo nos fans killed it but what you watch you won't know what I was doing wait hold on outside but god damn it
- 1:44:17
well who she while he was out he was over I was outside no you were mm it was
- 1:44:23
and I was great was that maybe one thousand one point I was outside BAM
- 1:44:31
I don't know what y'all kill nods about for that song hey you owe me I stood quiet for years and watched y'all trash
- 1:44:37
it you owe me as fire [ __ ] out of you you owe me is one of the best singles released back then to me [ __ ] when you
- 1:44:45
owe me and Redman the goodness was the little blend in the thong song
- 1:44:56
pick some shitty beats before but I don't think he's the worst beat picker no hit the way people make knives out to
- 1:45:02
be this United here's the worst beats ever making them for these commercial joints all of the singles I've really
- 1:45:10
really like you know what it is to is like looking back on that like I wouldn't listen to Nostradamus not too
- 1:45:15
long ago it's like this wasn't as bad as people made it out to be I made it out to be at the time you don't say it like some of that [ __ ] was
- 1:45:20
I the game grease little on that [ __ ] dave was the Nostradamus is the only one there 10 good songs at home
- 1:45:26
I'm not talking my damn oh you talk about the song yeah that's almost not in I don't think that was the only one
- 1:45:45
record was was was playing with that sound and yeah they were that was like a
- 1:45:51
genius that was like a really better but that's what they was calling it so yeah that was hard
- 1:45:56
[ __ ] y'all it's a classic break beat it is hip-hop that's the funny [ __ ] about it like oh wait that was replying to
- 1:46:19
work what's wrong with that ball telephone one boy what when I think of that what you think about what you think that yeah what you think of that what
- 1:46:25
you think yeah DJ Rory bringing it back
- 1:46:30
see go ahead and with you owe me damn I
- 1:46:35
don't know I don't think anybody hated this record mall sorry get skillful that's not really you owe me is
- 1:46:42
recognized started that that narrative you owe me so do gee Wally cuz hope says
- 1:46:49
show do you face and all that a hero a blooper to [ __ ] you get this
- 1:47:06
transition okay they were playing hero far are you right yeah alright so let's get back into Jon Snow flah flah flah
- 1:47:12
Jon Snow [ __ ] mean I don't know how to commit suicide by yelling at the dragon you gonna try to stab the dragon
- 1:47:18
but you just stood up he yelled I wanted to know when he was trying to give it to the dragon but where was people getting
- 1:47:24
Dragon Knight skeletal somebody tell me
- 1:47:30
where the people - that the Dragons readily available readily like we look
- 1:47:37
at the dragon store gave birth to them she's her family the Targaryen are
- 1:47:46
historically birth dragons so she is untouched by fire in the way that dragons are born is by you take their
- 1:47:53
eggs into the fire and then they are hatched and she does not get burned because she's of this someone it his
- 1:47:58
bloodline so she took the eggs that she got is some sort of present when she married Dothraki mm-hmm in the first
- 1:48:04
season and took them into the fire and gave birth the Dragons who was that and so the one dragon got killed by the
- 1:48:11
night king with a spear that's the only ill thing that you saw that has actually ever done I saw that happens I mean it's
- 1:48:16
I've been bracing the dead no the other real shape but to the Lakers today he revived the little dragon and now had a
- 1:48:22
dragon or a dead dragon yeah gotcha I felt like I just wanted the night king to be tougher me too I think we all do
- 1:48:29
he went out a little I wanted Jon Snow to be tougher yeah well I didn't know - I didn't know - Jon Snow were supposed
- 1:48:36
to be tough know yourself you know I know everybody told me his last effort
- 1:48:42
wasn't hit me hit me the Dragon Ray gone or whatever went up there and did you know they played their part they took
- 1:48:48
down the undead dragon I saw a lot of people complaining that none of the main characters died and I thought that was
- 1:48:54
interesting coming from Game of Thrones fans yeah well that's been a thing I know but did y'all become reliant on that that's
- 1:49:00
part of my argument about the writing but I'm not see because that's one of the reasons I never really got into it -
- 1:49:07
killing every time somebody tried to explain it to me all I could say was yo don't get attached to everybody that
- 1:49:12
is like oh okay but I mean what's the story I need a little more than alright you kill the main character got it they
- 1:49:19
killed main character I was a change writers I believe two seasons ago since six so season seven is season eight the
- 1:49:26
last two I have right here well it's dude it was based on a book so the first six ever succeeds
- 1:49:32
I think it might be less than that I think it might be five before whatever whatever it is they started freestyling because the guy hasn't finished the
- 1:49:38
trilogy of books or whatever it is more than three I think actually but leave a freestyle in the last couple seasons essentially the books were unwritten so
- 1:49:45
they um so what are they gonna do if the books are ever written he said that he's gonna kind of mimic what happened on the
- 1:49:52
show I think oh really yeah okay yeah you go from the movie to
- 1:49:58
the book nobody wants to watch the movie
- 1:50:04
and then well I guess I can't wait till the book comes out well I mean if that's what gets you poppin I guess that's what
- 1:50:09
you do I kept seeing mention of this I don't know what Cersei sir-sir sees is
- 1:50:15
the yeah she's the Queen sort of by default I guess her she married the king
- 1:50:22
she gave birth to children that were from her brother so they're not actually blood heirs but they are being treated
- 1:50:28
as blood aricept but now they're all dead so she is essentially taking the role as Queen yeah
- 1:50:34
but she's on Arya's list oh yeah yeah because she's sleeping out Circe's that
- 1:50:46
she's crazy man's nurse he was supposed to send her army to this battle yeah she
- 1:50:52
was supposed to send people to help the Star Wars she phony yeah yeah but she never sent her people she kept her
- 1:50:57
people in case the Starks won so now the real battle begins for me at the throne and that's why I wasn't so mad at people
- 1:51:05
saying not enough people died because granted they may have led up to this Winterfell [ __ ] for eight seasons but
- 1:51:13
I'm sure they have more story to tell yes there's a lot more episodes and I
- 1:51:18
believe that all over an hour for the last yeah they're a buck 30 yeah I believe so there's only six episodes
- 1:51:24
this season they say they spent fifteen million dollars on that one episode I'm sure just when when I read that I was
- 1:51:31
like well why are they taking this show off the air it's so profitable they're gonna do a prequel yeah got it oh it's
- 1:51:38
not lost financially for them got it so I am gonna continue to watch and I gotta go back on one occasion and
- 1:51:46
I am gonna go back it's more than just dragons and it's a lot of [ __ ] like there's a true story line so it can get
- 1:51:52
a little dry at times I'll warn you but it's it's it's worth watching definitely love this [ __ ] yeah I think Joe but it's
- 1:52:00
a lot of lofty language and [ __ ] I'm not sure if you're into that it's a little it's a little tough to watch there's two subs the first two seasons I'll watch
- 1:52:06
the subtitles just to help me navigate through it and a lot of people do that so after like the first two when you
- 1:52:12
know who's talking about who you might be able to get rid of it but that will be my advice to anybody who hasn't
- 1:52:17
watched it yeah Brian get through like the first two seasons with some time don't be afraid to like wiki some [ __ ]
- 1:52:22
because sometimes all the lofty languages and names of families it's important but it can get lost I had to
- 1:52:28
do that what peaky blinders I had to watch that what's up yeah watching that
- 1:52:34
game of thrones show got me to thinking of how many of those epic TV finales
- 1:52:41
i've been alive to actually witness mm-hmm Breaking Bad obvious liking
- 1:52:46
Breaking Bad Breaking Bad came one with FX yes no AMC AMC are we sure I don't
- 1:52:54
what I'm sure about that yeah sure what was a loud and wrong about um The
- 1:53:02
Sopranos yeah that was HBO right yeah yes it was oh shoot they were shooting
- 1:53:10
many Saints in Newark by my building the other day it's not a prequel to The Sopranos oh really yeah David chase about a Tony Soprano
- 1:53:17
father Chris's father oh [ __ ] no you gotta make me care good okay I know why
- 1:53:29
do we attach some [ __ ] oh yeah [ __ ] come on Reno's Seinfeld was a vision final episode
- 1:53:36
Seinfeld was huge felt like friends was used but I didn't care I didn't care about friends at that
- 1:53:41
point Seinfeld man Martin hurt me yeah yeah Martin Martin yeah but they didn't
- 1:53:48
care they were they was the AMC Martin Gina no more there was yet it was an ally for Martin
- 1:53:54
asking uh well it was the last episode he moved he moved out to LA for new job no I know the last they make a Seinfeld
- 1:54:04
that whole last season like that because that was the turbulent Fresh Prince is a big deal was a big sign remember that
- 1:54:11
ending fresh breath was big yeah yeah I feel like it's still a super big one
- 1:54:18
that I'm missing I mean the wire it was big but I feel like they didn't do like a wild ceremony for that
- 1:54:25
I don't remember anyway but I usually to the wire so okay I mean I watch it in real time and I don't remember them
- 1:54:30
really doing a big thing around it which is like all right well it's over yeah power was well coming back but I won't
- 1:54:37
be back over now I will do yeah I can't keep up with all the the the 50 beefs
- 1:54:43
but wouldn't it be for what to do from power probably even some [ __ ] 50 B for
- 1:54:49
what anybody yeah we wake up and decide who you want to be for there's a man and
- 1:54:56
a bear are we gonna act how we act we can easily get out the barrel if we stand on each other's backs
- 1:55:02
you don't even think about that before did they notice how you first of all bill is tweeted that oh [ __ ] like 2010
- 1:55:10
hold still and Bill Schuette we what do
- 1:55:18
you want crabs in a barrel but grabs
- 1:55:25
don't belong in the barrel ain't never told you that he didn't say that like that was the
- 1:55:39
dope that was the dope rapper that was the [ __ ] greatest rapper in the world trick where they [ __ ] drag the line
- 1:55:45
to make the stupid people get were they not supposed to get dragged to punch that's right the punch crabs in a barrel
- 1:55:54
but oh yeah bro when you pause in the butt we've been going with this crabs don't
- 1:56:00
belong in the barrel ain't never told you we can easily get out the barrel ooh
- 1:56:13
stand on each other's backs yeah that's a good point so kill us for
- 1:56:41
this ocean yeah but I shouldn't be a test today y'all be Dickey yo G what you do we need
- 1:56:47
to destroy Bradley like oh I'm gonna live Phil I was proud bro you're proud I
- 1:56:53
don't know why I get proud hearing that well it came on it the besides show one
- 1:56:59
end to the pump no free stuff Husker point fam oh really likes that a little
- 1:57:04
pump it up freestyle come on give it up I don't wanna burst your bubble but he
- 1:57:09
asked guru at the end to play whatever don't tell him and Guru knew you was there and played you say what you say
- 1:57:26
but on my little list that I said none of that [ __ ] on my list guess what was
- 1:57:32
on their list you can help it up for yourself pump it up with low lol
- 1:57:40
little lol no with it with the shrug emoji and I sent home emojis and you
- 1:57:47
know what other thumb throwing see that's why I don't need to take the way
- 1:57:54
blueprint to t-shirt and button or button I don't understand why bluebirds who wasn't on that [ __ ] cuz Naz was
- 1:58:01
coming on stage now we're gonna skip you just a first verse Sam wait no please the first thing
- 1:58:08
that's fear that that whole verses is you know both verses is bad they both yeah I guess so but what I'm saying is I
- 1:58:14
don't think that's right that because y'all pieced it up we can't get a song
- 1:58:20
but I do understand it yes respect it makes all the sense in the world it's
- 1:58:25
not like the more you want to hear but if you doing a b-side on the record
- 1:58:47
right there with the flutes not play
- 1:58:52
just holding flutes and your imaginary shirts on you know photography pictures
- 1:59:03
turning to the symphony Larry's like Sunday service always gotta go to can't
- 1:59:11
y'all see that he's fake the rap version a TD jakes prophesizing on your CDs but
- 1:59:21
not to be able to come back from that alone makes him a legend any other rap would that would have buried them that
- 1:59:27
diverse fair that over this nas appreciation [ __ ] podcast we're doing
- 1:59:35
they say we [ __ ] on nas and that's not true like you can't say that we've we from New York and have New York by ether
- 1:59:44
that's knowing people don't bring that up on our big up not I hate nas personal here because I don't
- 1:59:51
like ether doesn't mean I don't even do
- 2:01:20
nothing but be out of breath first four bars are there we all know cuz the first
- 2:01:27
four bars after he was like oh great
- 2:01:33
hole thanks for taking my beat I'm back again oh no no 22 that's a muscle memory a
- 2:01:39
muscle memory pain no I didn't work out didn't perform that one and I supposed to be absorbed myself Joe wasn't you I
- 2:01:50
mean Jay was addressing everybody in
- 2:02:17
just goofier don't mean that he nights no you killed understand that don't mrs.
- 2:02:22
Brown hate that's prime na z prime na say that is what makes them nice that goofy and the big words and understand
- 2:02:30
all that [ __ ] is one is exactly why he's they have his classes and all I know is telling people to ask Columbine rhyme it
- 2:02:58
right now you freakin misogynist yeah that's not easy where are you taking
- 2:03:03
that with that's one of our favorite
- 2:03:30
home records you play that at least twice on the spike is I love that we did
- 2:03:35
come and get me hang a lot that was enough for me yeah that what that was I
- 2:03:41
removed all man I'm deke alright awful awful for the fifth time
- 2:03:48
we're the office waiters of Teitelbaum
- 2:03:53
Oliver would have be on side a little bit marks want to be on Amazon ooh Amazon means tall no all right so
- 2:04:27
let's talk about white people and measles we brought him back thank you
- 2:04:34
Coachella which I'll do for throwback Thursday now go get a whole [ __ ]
- 2:04:39
plague Coachella it's all columns all
- 2:04:50
the way before scared of needles slow can y'all give some bad no I didn't get
- 2:04:57
his immunizations because they feel like yeah whatever
- 2:05:03
uh-huh let me forget that corrected you
- 2:05:16
would you were saying anyway so because people stopped getting immunizations immunizations it's hard to say for some
- 2:05:22
reason immunization immunizations measles has made its way back and now it's here there's outbreak in New York
- 2:05:28
no it's happening there's 700 cases of measles but who said it at the news come
- 2:05:35
on you know a lot well farrotto jaw was something in the water y'all [ __ ] wouldn't listen I said it was amusing
- 2:05:42
water Danny had about the measles yeah Chad knew what was really happening behind
- 2:05:47
the scenes exactly you saw his face the measles face Chris and Trey was together as though saying that means polio is coming
- 2:05:54
next Holyoke making his way back we might have to get shots again I'm going to get
- 2:06:00
REM Eunice's Isis the measles I even his white people wing worms now why
- 2:06:07
people get mandarin worms musil's like my mom like she was such filth when i got real quick come on you
- 2:06:19
was outside Sydney rubbing cream in my [ __ ] head you are a horrible mom
- 2:06:40
snake measles are bad we know this
- 2:06:46
because Parks is telling us that the new said it yes and if the news is saying it
- 2:06:52
then it must be true that's true I'm still waiting on y'all to tell me what where's anthrax where
- 2:06:58
did it go I left no no because they not a government back
- 2:07:04
in the bottle or the bushes the same
- 2:07:09
everyone's looking at George Bush like look at them smiling Michelle Obama was
- 2:07:17
a great guy okay so bad well no no when you got [ __ ] anyone orange I just
- 2:07:26
think there's mad [ __ ] that they just come up with out the blue to make us go and you've done to us like these [ __ ]
- 2:07:33
yeah it's a good point fam I'm not getting measles at almost 40 sorry Artie
- 2:07:42
and Myka please call me [ __ ] if I get the measles I was a month yeah like if everyone copies acquired the measles
- 2:07:48
coach oh yeah coach I'll give you the herp alert need the measles alert that's why they canceled the Woodstock [ __ ]
- 2:07:54
this week uses measles they knew measles would be crazy running up I saw stuff to cancel it man Woodstock Wayne I was kind
- 2:08:00
of excited about it but that's my hometown bus routes I won't Woodstock 50 was canceled because looking at whatever
- 2:08:07
plans they had detailed organizers did not believe that they had enough time or
- 2:08:14
money to put on a capable show they said that they were concerned that it wasn't enough space to hold 100,000
- 2:08:21
people but they hold a hundred thousand people regularly for NASCAR so that's with like cars driving really fast
- 2:08:27
everywhere I'm just glad they didn't I would finish it I would get my face no space and time and money just for what
- 2:08:35
they had laid out it just didn't seem doable and they referenced the fiery festival and if that's a reference then
- 2:08:43
back out over there man there's there's places to stay I just watched Castle
- 2:08:51
stay right there the Lakeman yeah thanks for everyone can staple up
- 2:09:00
they could easily get out to Barrow if they stay on each other's bad blood boy
- 2:09:06
cram go in the ocean they did a festival was I don't know if you knew I knew they
- 2:09:12
need a festival once to that same venue in the 60s retro Woodstock they had 600,000 people there they can fit a
- 2:09:18
hundred thousand there maybe I yeah but LSD and Molly are different that's a
- 2:09:23
good point I don't know what got pills yeah rolling with that crowd up there
- 2:09:28
strong on opioids talking about [ __ ] that's that's happened before I want to
- 2:09:35
go back to one of our segments with a boogie when we've read guys trying to get their girls back and we were rating
- 2:09:41
them mmm I would like you guys to revisit your rating on a boogie because I did see 10 hours ago he got his family
- 2:09:48
back applause give me a round of applause please yeah we gave his apology of about I
- 2:09:53
think I made it gave me [Applause] this is seven sound you get your family
- 2:09:59
back you automatically get back to the 10-point oh if it worked across the board that's Wallace that makes it a 40
- 2:10:06
from art from our judge board we're dreamers that want to applaud a bogey forgetting his family background that's
- 2:10:13
great salute it worked
- 2:10:18
salute salute to that guy yeah that's off yeah sometimes you gotta do the IG
- 2:10:24
caption oh do you guys care about our meek Meeks judge still on the [ __ ]
- 2:10:30
ignoring the request for him to go to Toronto to watch the playoffs um yeah I
- 2:10:36
mean we I'm sick of this judge judges yeah there's just being an [ __ ] at this point he's a yeah oh is it he or
- 2:10:42
she she she's saying all this Eamon little bit the boys the members Oh got
- 2:10:51
it all the way down filly in Savannah is
- 2:11:01
that the same judge on the Capitol thing was removing that Judge oh no she's a
- 2:11:11
[ __ ] and which is [ __ ] up cuz I would like to see our meek on the other side Drake on one side and them arguing and
- 2:11:18
doing a little reading yes I bring some
- 2:11:25
energy yeah and I would have loved to see Meeks face when it was getting smacked in Game one yeah that's always great Drake legs look
- 2:11:32
like the saddest puppy dog when they steam getting smacked you'll be looking like this confident guy know who does
- 2:11:39
when it blown out all the confidence is
- 2:11:49
a front I would like to hear that meek and poison pencil get shot at the phone
- 2:11:56
I'm cool whereas malls man who Sean yeah guy shot show Michelle DeSean [ __ ] bonded over
- 2:12:03
some Joe jokes [Laughter] Shawn Stockman all right what else is
- 2:12:12
really important since y'all don't care to me can't get into Toronto to watch playoff game or sad about that well why
- 2:12:17
didn't reg do his connections like he says in the verse goes Drake hang get nobody in in Toronto like he keep saying
- 2:12:23
he's definitely got it called Laura I don't know what their whole yeah right normal attend or a
- 2:12:29
senator I don't know how the whole Canadian you know you know I go both and
- 2:12:35
I'm going to Instagram I make no money don't mind me guys all right oh let's see meek denied entry for the
- 2:12:43
playoffs I want to read y'all this [ __ ] uh I want to read y'all this Walmart flick stuff because everybody is
- 2:12:50
trying to get into the TV streaming game business company thingamajig uh I also
- 2:13:00
read the did Russo brothers I think that's their name on that in game was the last Marvel movie that they were
- 2:13:05
gonna do hmm really you read it as well sumon yeah
- 2:13:11
yeah interesting okay Walmart planning to launch original TV
- 2:13:16
shows on Vudu starting with mr. mom reboot now the Walmart owned service is
- 2:13:23
planning to launch family-friendly television shows as a way to become a competitor in the ever-growing Street
- 2:13:28
streaming TV market these include a reboot of the 1983 comedy mr. mom
- 2:13:33
debuting as early as June 2019 a science-fiction show and a police
- 2:13:39
procedural drama similar to CSI the difference is that Walmart will not
- 2:13:45
require a monthly subscription to access these shows but will instead generate
- 2:13:50
money through new quote new advertising technology this is described as quote
- 2:13:57
shoppable content data great day negate
- 2:14:02
100% yeah this is described as quote shoppable content with television shows
- 2:14:08
that can directly lead to customers buying products online and it says in
- 2:14:13
quotes not only will viewers see ads they will have the option to buy products seen in shows such as paper
- 2:14:18
towels or soft drinks so they have new advertisement technology there's an FBI
- 2:14:27
guy in the phone guys they just want to start market into specific home it's all [ __ ]
- 2:14:32
everyone getting a streaming platform it's basically now it's just TV put in a different way yes different channel like
- 2:14:38
have you noticed that all the streaming platforms are kind of getting watered down as far as the quality of content I
- 2:14:44
have I mean what have you watched on fire saying I'll be honest with you it's been
- 2:14:52
a struggle to find something good on Netflix yeah yeah I didn't like Highwaymen would he
- 2:14:57
have them yeah I was a movie yeah hey watch it he wasn't feeling it no no not
- 2:15:04
a highwayman I will watch I wanna watch that actually from that lane of my bed naked
- 2:15:09
how can a see what the highway men are doing humans can't sleep I can't sleep
- 2:15:34
with clothes on but I can lay into bed and watch TV with clothes but when it sound asleep I'm but ass you'll never get like you'll
- 2:15:40
never get like the balls wedgie
- 2:16:00
[Laughter]
- 2:16:27
please do with me I like when you wash them a few times it's tighter like ooh I got thighs I got the super long yeah but
- 2:16:38
when you lean into you know we laughing
- 2:17:23
but I think it's funny there that's it boy wedgie all y'all do all right no no
- 2:17:38
it wasn't we was on a Segway King we're
- 2:17:46
talking about Walmart flicks what what are y'all what do y'all think about them jumping and jumping in this game room is
- 2:17:53
there enough room for them in this game skin saturated breath to a specific part
- 2:18:01
of the country I don't even subscribe to the Amazon when I heard there's good content I'll be on three I have Amazon I have
- 2:18:06
everything I max Amazon Netflix Hulu Spotify Apple I
- 2:18:14
don't have Tribble so I still have HBO [ __ ] CBS Showtime stars I have to
- 2:18:21
wait to a subscription I'm not doing no not money part I'm certainly not going rushing to run to the Walmart Vudu yeah
- 2:18:28
I'm cool I'm cool with family-friendly content I'm cursed [ __ ] I'm cool and
- 2:18:34
all that I just thought it was interesting that seeing this is why and we won't talk about this now probably
- 2:18:40
talk about on the road on tour something I thought it was interesting that they said no we're not charging for any of
- 2:18:45
this we're gonna spy on you we're also we're only going to sell you microwaves
- 2:18:51
use this new advertisement technology which you know speaks to the point I be
- 2:18:56
making these a lot of these companies and you know they just under they undervalue they they they use the ad
- 2:19:05
[ __ ] as a smokescreen is what I'm saying yeah I feel like yeah they use the ad [ __ ] as a smokescreen and they're
- 2:19:12
getting a they getting money in so many other different ways and for Walmart to just come out and say no we're not even
- 2:19:17
charging you this is how valuable the ad [ __ ] is to us that not have it I'm
- 2:19:23
making whole production producing whole TV shows just to give you an ad I
- 2:19:29
thought that was interesting Spotify hit 100 million paid users give
- 2:19:36
us a round of applause a round of applause for Spotify we hear Gang Gang Gang
- 2:19:43
this platform crab don't belong in the
- 2:19:53
barrel they never told you that you guys just keep scaring each other's back huh
- 2:19:58
if we scan each other's back we could pull each other out the barrel
- 2:20:04
yes those cramps going the ocean parks that's a good boy so they're not gonna
- 2:20:09
act naturally in a barrel that's a good boy why nobody thought of that H to the
- 2:20:18
yo take the lid off the pot wants to be ballin some crabs remember where you a
- 2:20:35
[Laughter] big-ass cockroach I wouldn't mind the ground want some crabs we need to have
- 2:20:41
crab night go crab day or somebody pulled down for the dudes always down for crabs dudes dudes would you be for
- 2:20:53
like everyone that's there oh okay wasn't there
- 2:20:59
not just dudes or [ __ ] I don't just refer to them as that they
- 2:21:05
call me this misogynist all right and I
- 2:21:12
was joking of course tonight [ __ ] part me what else do we have Walmart slaves the German streaming game y'all
- 2:21:18
don't give a [ __ ] that's what we got there do y'all care about New Orleans rapper girl putting her 5 year old and a
- 2:21:24
lift to go 5 miles up a street and then a lyft driver drove that kid straight to police police precinct she was a rapper
- 2:21:30
me her name was game over from New Orleans that's ironic yeah the game was
- 2:21:36
over her parents she put her how was the big five 5 go to 5 year old in a lift up
- 2:21:43
the street a few miles in the river wha what Street 5 miles is not up the street
- 2:21:48
is that illegal it should be chef Celine I don't know I don't know if it is oh by the books but it should be what is
- 2:21:54
people you know what's funny I just shout outside lifts I feel bad I put my girl to live ya know that that shout-out
- 2:22:00
to the lyft driver but today I was in I was in the crib and I was like laying down and it was a baby like you know the
- 2:22:05
next apartment he's crying for like I would have I swear to God I was like really close to calling police mmm like
- 2:22:11
cuz I'm like I it was like like screaming crying and this was an infant like this wasn't like a five-four yo
- 2:22:18
this was an infant right and I'm feeling so bad cuz I'm like yo what if that baby's being abused like I don't know but I know it's not that it's not normal
- 2:22:24
for baby to cry for hour and a half straight yeah like there's something wrong with that but then on my damn if I
- 2:22:29
call the police like they're gonna know who called the cops oh hey cuz the police told me what time we'll call the
- 2:22:35
cops on me no but they have caller ID like they have your number your number
- 2:22:41
name pops up in the police database as soon as you call EndNote with the person that they're calling on it's not
- 2:22:46
supposed to tell you that you're the person that's calling on them yeah the police are not supposed to tell you the example but the cop told me who called
- 2:22:53
trust me I inquired a bunch in Edgewater
- 2:22:59
we saw how that one ended what what old boy across the street are you lucky I
- 2:23:07
won't be that guy to ask bro street no Edgewater what happened he called the
- 2:23:15
cops for what again noise everyday dog Nicole died how did I end up in the dudes face I was in the living room oh
- 2:23:22
no I ran outside when I saw you was in his face but Joe was not really though
- 2:23:30
Joe set off two big-ass [ __ ] fireworks on like August 3rd
- 2:23:39
[Music] really well [ __ ] midnight summer day we were on the rooftop something South
- 2:23:48
Carolina three years later from for for July what do you want me to say you knew they would work like three two one goes
- 2:23:55
bad this is small that's my boy no parks industrial fireworks yeah it was you
- 2:24:02
need to be like in the middle of [ __ ] residential area everyone was doing it
- 2:24:20
and nothing goes on in Edgewater so it's a [ __ ] fire goes off they know who it is no but Michel tripping no but I had
- 2:24:27
the name that the neighbor across the street was do they call the cops for every little thing and he was not one of
- 2:24:32
them in bold and white and bold and white dude so he called the cops and come outside indeed to say somebody I
- 2:24:38
think that knock you right out and
- 2:24:50
that's gonna be the end of it you better watch yourself alright so I think this
- 2:24:56
everything did we get some else I think says we forget some not that we good oh we got to go tour tomorrow we gotta go
- 2:25:05
pot on the say-so Oh prayers prayers to Larry King oh yeah cardiac arrest er but
- 2:25:13
he's good heard he's in good spirits but prayers say money's good yeah it's true no way before we get out of here hold up
- 2:25:20
man we this is not a sports podcast and we're getting the sleepers but Parks you
- 2:25:25
don't think you owe me and [ __ ] apology I said best of six I said [ __ ] six oh
- 2:25:33
three games in I'll give you an apology more no I well but no parks ain't really
- 2:25:39
feelin me no I'm not we were on the bus you said books in 706 and said no you
- 2:25:46
said bucks in six I said seven seven and that's fine is none there's no wrong answer there cuz we don't
- 2:25:52
right and then Park said Greek fricos demand and then I said he is demand but
- 2:26:00
Horford and Baines nein that Latin Greek freak come just dunk all over him I said
- 2:26:07
Horford Baynes and Brad Stevens and I got in the moment the chance fans let me be honest parks laughed me out of the
- 2:26:13
van gave me all that you on your phone
- 2:26:22
I was just sitting there sulking hurt like Harris Jalen Brown actually put his nuts in on you know isn't it so now that
- 2:26:29
I'm now that I'm face to face with parks I'm here it was indeed Baines and offert who kept
- 2:26:35
Greek freak from Greek freaking one game no one get one dunk it was only one dunk okay uh I think was
- 2:26:43
III for a horrible horrible performance terrible good he was I'm all adjust Owen
- 2:26:49
part of course he will adjust you I'm only bringing it up because when I said Horford Hawks mission was no way mark
- 2:26:56
yeah he made it seem like there was no way that was Joe you and your sports
- 2:27:01
takes are stupid well there and that's not gonna have no that'd be me Russell
- 2:27:07
still the best playing mbm you're right
- 2:27:12
okay so so so gavel absolutely apologize after Game three if no
- 2:27:18
adjustments if he doesn't buddy just and he's gonna play better but what that guy to do with the fact that Horford and Baynes when he so take it all over them
- 2:27:25
again then you guys apologize to me again so what are we doing I'll just wait we'll save it at Holloway so he they got to do that for a whole
- 2:27:32
series yellow mark all right now anything that was the argument like if
- 2:27:38
he goes on average thirty four and fifteen arrested a series later they didn't do a great job now if the Celtics
- 2:27:44
win yeah it doesn't matter who's winning I've no problem ideologue can actually something why people kill
- 2:27:50
me for that my Russell take when Zack just think about a second when the exact
- 2:27:55
thing that they gave him as what he's been doing the last three years so he was the best in the league
- 2:28:01
when he did it the first year but he's been doing it for the last three years and he's not the best anymore
- 2:28:07
like y'all gave him the MVP award because of him averaging a triple-double VP doesn't mean best in the league I
- 2:28:15
mean didn't see what Joe saying but what does MVP mean it means most it doesn't
- 2:28:23
mean best player in the league the year that he won all him years all these [ __ ] won they gonna say LeBron was the best in the league but they will the
- 2:28:30
same reason I don't listen Mike supposed to have more MVPs Kobe supposed to have more apiece but MVP means something
- 2:28:36
different so it didn't happen Russ average that triple-double was amazing we had never seen it since Oscar Robinson Mike was Mike should have got
- 2:28:43
MVP area I'm with you yeah but Russ did that triple-double [ __ ] we had never seen it we awarded him we all know we've
- 2:28:50
seen it but without Rob I wasn't allowed no I'm saying it happened once before we've never seen nobody do it three
- 2:28:56
years in a row I know but that's the same reason I say that James Harden shouldn't get the MVP this year James
- 2:29:03
scores the ball with the best of anybody in the world who scores the ball this
- 2:29:08
season he had to do it for a longer period of time over a longer stretch but that wasn't new because I've seen James
- 2:29:15
put the ball up at that type of clip the same way I've seen Russ
- 2:29:21
pad the stat sheet all over the place I think people kill you more because you ignore some of the other stuff no III I
- 2:29:29
know that you said okay matters none and that that to me I don't care about when you're when you because to me Russ has
- 2:29:36
to do everything for that team so he's not gonna be very efficient when I have to do something is gonna like somewhere
- 2:29:41
I can't be great at every city every category for my team I'm doing everything that I can and he is here's
- 2:29:48
my thing if you take she's been playing like he had to do everything for that team even when he didn't have to do everything for that team which that's
- 2:29:54
why that's the type of play he is he's just aggressive but he got it he got to lose some of that but it's my thing if
- 2:30:00
you take Russ off of OKC do they make the playoffs no but if you put Russ on
- 2:30:06
hold on Knicks that they hold on you take D do you take if you take James or the Rockets do they make the playoffs no
- 2:30:13
I don't think the Rockets would make the playoffs have changed on one so they had Chris Paul Chris Paul Angelo I'm not two
- 2:30:22
more injuries I'm talking about the season I'm talking everyone is healthy but you just removed these players all for these
- 2:30:27
teams I'm not sure that Chris Paul himself is bringing the Rockets well he was taking the Hornets to the playoffs
- 2:30:34
with no [ __ ] but no one is it sometimes of the horns crew the plows when CP was dead it went they went out I
- 2:30:40
feel a lot of years they went I wouldn't say a lot yeah yeah I'm just you can't
- 2:30:46
tell a difference in his game who's Dave he's a sharing the ball with a ball dominant player named seed on a spurt I
- 2:30:53
mean on in the West the Spurs was seven Clippers Clippers were eighth do I think that the Rockets without as far as went
- 2:31:00
to the playoffs yeah but you think CP couldn't take that rocket team to the playoffs without James Harden do you
- 2:31:07
think okay see you don't want to the playoffs without Russell Westbrook well
- 2:31:12
they wouldn't we don't have a real conversation about Paul George one day I'm not right now but we don't have a
- 2:31:18
real conversation by him one day uh what I will say and I'ma just in this real quick and I meant to get this off and we
- 2:31:23
was talking about meek not being able to tend to play off out there but Kawhi
- 2:31:29
Leonard is a man oh yeah but I said I said we were gonna get that disc oh I did I thought he was going to show
- 2:31:35
people that he's better than we advertised him to be then he's doing this a new battle is another way I don't
- 2:31:41
know if you know that no he gets all the respect in the world for that have you ever played New Balances no nobody has a
- 2:31:51
[ __ ] mutant man telling you he's not he's not human but it's such a difference watching and listen I was
- 2:31:57
[ __ ] on the rows and a half whenever that was but DeRozan is nice probably top what 20 25 in the league it's a real
- 2:32:05
difference when you watching top 20 and top five mm-hmm like that dude is a man
- 2:32:13
like a man man strong you have to play and defend all that jokey jokey [ __ ] and
- 2:32:19
beating them [ __ ] was doing in the first round no it's a whole lot of respect being given out
- 2:32:25
postgame postgame interviews yeah Kauai is one of those players that I've heard other an NBA players talk about like
- 2:32:33
yeah he's the one oh yeah like he's he's different he's
- 2:32:38
different and and he's so that the thing I love about him most is that he you don't know if he's up 30 or down 30 like
- 2:32:46
if you look at him you don't know if like he's winning or he's losing the game like that's what I love about him most he's just steadied the whole season
- 2:32:52
like but he's yeah I think Toronto's in a Danika spot you know me too I think
- 2:32:59
that's everything guys what we got one of us say rest in peace says Staff Sergeant Jeremy plain he was a big fan
- 2:33:05
