it's weird to me cuz to me it's just like kickin it with your friends I guess I never looked at it from a larger

perspective you did someone through that often like many things you don't look at if it goes like uh to me it feels like a

big like an inside joke amongst a bunch of people like meeting everybody on the

road it's like everybody like knows they follow the show so it's a bunch of inside things that people bring up and

I'm like I forgot we even talked about that it must be cool to be in the crowd you don't say with a bunch of people that are in on the inside joke exactly

yeah all kind of talk the same right like I said it does seem like one big

family gathering of sorts like everybody kind of laughed at the same [ __ ] you

know what time it is and no one is coming they're making friends with each other and [ __ ] yeah right cool it's nice

dope ah Atlanta was great let's super I'm ready to go yeah I am listen I'm

phony yeah I'm ready bust a move give me the work it's nice down there it's really really nice but why I don't know

why I always act surprised like I said I feel like I say that every time I leave in Lana but Atlanta keeps changing to me

yeah in what ways well it was different

last decade in terms of just how it felt and what was going on and then the scene

took over and and that was a little different and now it's just every time you go back it's like a different

business is different people different transplants like it really feels like

almost like LA when you go there because you're going there for something different every time it kind of can take a different identity when you go I feel

like that about Italy yeah it's kind of like a central hub now where as you could live in Atlanta but you'd still

have to do a lot of business in New York in LA just because of how things were set up I feel like you just live in Atlanta now you don't need to leave to

get your [ __ ] off yeah this film there like you can just stay in Atlanta yeah music everything greats

just that - that's important organ for me anyway yesterday you [ __ ] write on them are

you kidding me I thought that was a good job I didn't realize Miami was the time yeah I had spied no idea oh yeah Miami has an

amazing gyro tyrosine I got the name of the place would maybe I would think but

hitting the crew doesn't I really want to do this with us we're still a little

hurt over it oh it was the one everyone's a lot of harbor okay I'm harboring and then wait the last

night after the show y'all to fake me go told me to go to it and I was no well

actually I told y'all last week more was gonna go get with rugs y'all never

listen to me when I'm telling y'all exactly what - no way I wouldn't buy the spot but he got here I left by the time I got there but I saw I saw him the

first night I went out to bump into each other that uh at a law at the strip club so Joe was right yeah shout out the rugs

uh what happened this is one of those one of those seven podcasts in nine days

yeah where somebody's gonna just have to tell me about what's going on in the world hey I'm ready to stab we might be the

is tough yeah short podcast like know about guys I say that every time we go

out on the road but I do recognize the importance to get out on the road and whatever it is that solutely yeah that's

important no absolutely no complaints at all because listeners not gonna show they don't give a [ __ ] no give us give

us our episode we don't give two [ __ ] about Tampa Bay tonight yeah that hasn't changed

amongst consumers like in rap I used to feel like they just don't give a [ __ ] about you or your well-being as long as

they get their [ __ ] yes that's kind of frost over to podcasting they really didn't care no yeah your partner live

but give us our [ __ ] Saturday what we wasn't here in Atlanta three hours of

sleep at night and getting right back in a van or a plane but come on obviously and that's the other thing I try to

refrain from coming on here and ever sounding like we are complaining about anything but god damn some of these days

along yeah what would I do that somebody just tweeted it must be stressful just talking to your friends yeah yeah

exactly what do I want to talk about what's happening tell me fill me and even though you guys have been with me our

brother Jesse Williams is no one he's worth and we need to stand with this

King mmm he's going through a rough divorce where she is receiving $200,000

a month is what she wants and for all her legal fees which I think was over $300,000 to be paid for

Jesse replied with nah mmm yes King you know I think we need

some applause familiar Jessie was the cause for the novel but wait he said not a what exactly 200 grand a month in

alimony they don't have children do they I don't know but this is this is yeah this isn't a child we don't touch

you toward a grand a month and then for all her legal fees because it's been going on forever so our legal fees are

insane mm-hmm all because she just happened to be there in the beginning back to the prenup argument man it's a tricky one

200 grand a month is a low point don't worry about the bad four million dollars

ten is 2.4 million dollars a year and and you cover my legal fees and they got

three other grants what lawyers you got

some good ones at the end up at 200 grand that's insane is it yes and I know people are tired of

me tape playing the devil's advocate I was walking I saw the chicks on the timeline trying to add up all the money

he made per year it's like that's nothing to him so you know course 200

grand a month to raise no kids man oh that's insensitive for men to say we

raise children - that is for men to say they don't cost $20,000 to raise nobody

system my mom's definitely didn't need 200 grand a month to raise us and I'm right look look what what the argument I

hear I hear in regards to that is lifestyle change so you can't you can't

have any type of dramatic lifestyle change so if you were living one type of way with the wife and the kids then you

have to kind of be in the same ballpark even in separation listen life changes

so it we say they not going to the prom all day but wha why anyway they going to

the project's I can make so many shows based around more like lifestyle change

okay so they may not be living in a tent bedroom mansion but if they live in a

nice condo somewhere in in LA is that a lifestyle change they know move it did

not move it to the projects that's the lifestyle change going from my house to the projects they both are lifestyle

changes is just different lifestyles you're changing once we're divorced sans

the kids why would you deserve that lifestyle like you're not part of my lifestyle what's she doing wah wah wah

and Rory and Parks because because I don't want us to get caught up in I think I think how men feel about this

it's kind of cliche no they like this too I've spoken to women about this matter and they but and they agree that women

should because women are in fact just having kids with men with money just so they don't have to work that was the

case here I'm just saying women have that conversation even when that is the

case you can't ever say that you can't bring it up why cuz it's something you can't prove you can't what there might

be a text away you can prove that women just having babies with you can just for

the more we can prove that well I mean that's a proven fact that's not

something that we're speculating like there we can look around the industry I'm agreeing what I'm saying is in in

court that's not an argument that's what that's what I'm saying look it's not a valid what happens to any because of

that because of that we're arguing the court law yeah because of that exact thing somebody's lawyers there what ways

for how many is when men weren't making a honey grand a year now that was sudden because a man makes 2 million a year he

should have to pay 200 grand in child support a month well we didn't even get to child school year we aren't alimony I think yeah well whatever I got these

facts wrong I'm sure I'm sure but yeah I don't know if that that includes child support or not but I'm sure it does

bottom line the child support laws need to change they absolutely will take take

take del let's no further than that thought changing - I think that a lot of

the ideas is fun but I know I have a lot

of friends that are professional athletes and I see what they go through with their baby mothers and and their child's parents like with it it's like

yo it's crazy like you're paying what a month $1,000 a month what kid I think

that just needs to be some more accountability and I think you need to turn in actual books of where all that money went yeah because I could be

giving a woman 200 grand and my kid could be seeing five hundred dollars of that from all the [ __ ] I know I think

there needs to be proof of where all that money goes so you can justify to me why you need 200 grand to raise a kid

that is spending half the time go you already just come up to 200 grand and think who's for alimony so y'all are

arguing different things you can't no let's just use that number I'm saying all right God cuz there I'm sure there's

plenty of people in the way that ends and let me tell you in some instances that that does happen like the judge

depending on your case and the inner workings of it will say you have to show

where this money's being spent or put money in different buckets I know when I was going through this my first

challenge mom came into court and said hey my kid wants to attend karate XYZ blah see blah blah and my response was

the same thing or you said like all right I'm down for that of course but I need to know that the karate money is

for karate I need to know that the after-school program money is for you know me Absolut happen some time and

Trey didn't stick with the karate come through a chop some bricks no no my

court documents even in karate seems like oh five when you fall with alimony

then let's switch from child support cuz alimony I'm on the side of please explain this this to me I agree with

both so I mean that's why I'm trying to shut up in this conversation because I do agree with both now and I think y'all

do - y'all just have an issue with the number you agree with what you agreed

if you if you are married to someone for having amount of time and y'all separate

that well no I do think the amount of time makes a difference and a difference

in what how much money you should get yeah well if you married for a year and she's getting two hundred racks a month

like that's great like my lifestyle has got to maintain his lifestyle for a year you're an adult go get your own [ __ ]

job now putting somebody's pressure on

the women to go out there and make a living you are never going to the to the mailbox every first and 15 I'm totally

with money for the kid but we are not together anymore why the [ __ ] do I owe you any money because y'all were married

were all right we're no longer married I know go get your own [ __ ] bank

account because you were once married we have to account for all things that occurred for during said marriage cuz I

think what you're saying is right two parts and I don't know I've never gone through this but they don't just start with all your earnings mmm

like I think it's a case-by-case thing and sayvon won't look [ __ ] up over there so I think it's a case-by-case thing

where nothing you read about that yeah I think yeah no it's definitely

case-by-case every case varies as far as how much you have to pay and things like that but again the general laws on child

support need to need to change they do I think it's a lot of old laws in place

that you know things change things have changed in the world who he is how how much money people are making how many

people are having kids how many people getting divorced like all of these things changed like the percentages the

rates of divorce and kids and all that has changes so therefore the laws have to change a thing

food that is true that is tres motto like it has the the world has changed

the world like that doesn't even make sense yeah well the laws are updated much

somewhere by laws and in turn far the child support listen as somebody's gone

through that that ring even if it turns out in a best-case scenario I still think it's unfortunate

it's unfortunate anytime you have to get the law involved to make some type of

love your family matters absolutely I think because some family is the law and

we don't need to have this talk here probably just don't have the best interest in know but I mean that's kind

of always been we've had the marriage talk on here and while I am getting married I still have a big issue with

bringing the government in to my love life well it's on a diet so it's a it's

a it's an agreement it's a business agreement you have to sign a document when you get married you have to get it

notarized like that's a deal that's a conjure yeah it's a deal so as soon as you do that like the government

is involved like well how do y'all feel about that because maybe that plays a part like I said how y'all feel about

what all is that a lot of these laws need to change it needs to change we're

still living by the same laws of people that we're here it's almost 100 and 200 years ago can you get married without

getting married legally like with dope see I'm the law and wit parks pick my

needs to invent a way because you have to go to even if you do a small ceremony you're going to the city hall okay

justice apiece whatever they call it these are all government buildings these are you know like there has to be

somebody there that sits in a position in law or you know with with with with

government or city officials like there has to be a witness you have to get

papers us a contract certified and notarized and all of this actually the way we are leading to it is how our men

incentivized to marry and I'm not saying

that it's a breadwinner because sometimes the woman is the person that

potentially could be paying alimony as we've seen with like the mary j blige a couple other cases by the way we mean

we joked about that and I will thing I don't agree with that either I don't think Mary should have to pay him all that money like this isn't just

a gender specific thing with me I just don't think people should be giving up money to someone they're no longer with right when y'all don't share a child the

relationship is over no that's wrong that's wrong I think if you don't have a

child well we're do y'all fall on like and I mean I wasn't gonna ever talk about this

year because it's not a type of podcast but since this talk is here where do y'all fall on what's happening with Wendy and her husband like they said old

a deal was done where she had to give him like ten million dollars for that for the settlement for his name to get

off of you know I guess that's what I'm saying when you involved for for such a long amount of time it's a long period

of time your some of your it's y'all have business together well I think that

case is a bit different because wild marriage is a business we may not share an axe well you brought up Mary

yeah and that was a Wednesday and that was a business what I'm saying is

there's a long there's a long list of the women who fell in love and then

handed the keys over to the guy that they fell in love with so at the end of that there would be some other things to

discuss outside of just love god forbid if something would have happened between hose and B I assume there to be a lot of

business that that would need to be discussed I'm sure before marriage there was a lot of business to be discussed in

it I'm sure but then again that not every marriage has that capacity where

they're literally doing business together not just filing on their taxes that they have a partner that's gonna be wild to

have like your wife's manager contact your manager that would that would be

funny that's crazy where's love in any of this it's in the music most expensive thing on earth

that's craziness and I'm not even talking about [ __ ] of monetary value it'll cost you you're paying one way the

other both ways always love is by

love is alright let's let's stay on Beyonce off for a second with all this

Taylor Swift [ __ ] I know Rory's passionate about it and wants to go on it ran fans just go ahead and livid the

entire tour I can't even perform Taylor Swift went was at Billboard Awards she led the Billboard Awards and had a

strikingly similar set to Beyonce's homecoming one with the band was

striking Rory Buridan audiobooks were

was like a group of people meets you saw you saw those budget conversations on the homecoming documentaries like nah

she's 90% yeah way so that was that was

standing that she didn't she didn't bite Beyonce she probably did I mean it's

just even if she didn't I think once that documentary came out she should have made some it was a bad call like

she should just make some immediate changes like odd now we gotta scrap this like he even if she wasn't they're gonna

they're gonna perceive it that way the public is gonna perceive she had to know this was gonna happen you know I mean like it's like I did it

on purpose so he would talk about her in the podcast man now and I'm done talkin podcasts I'm done talking about was just

about to interrupt an air show if we got like some [ __ ] news stop [ __ ] pepto pink bands any [ __ ] news this happened

during the week I don't really want to open up would Wendy Williams and then Taylor switching um

what else is important outside of Taylor Swift and all this other [ __ ] that I'm going to talk about the music that

came out is there anything that could make me feel hardcore again don't do it

dance without a project we'll just em just it just a my I get a chance to listen because I'm gonna run around so much I listen to it was oh I was gonna

say my review for Wednesday yeah what do you think first listen it was dope I mean it's what you want from Stas was

it for you sir Morris not much different reducer no Courtney Idol and any cool features JT kisses on their knee no man

like me no man when I was talking when I did to pull up with kiss he made it sound like it was

gonna be a lot of lock [ __ ] this year maybe not a lot locks together in Lock separately so I look forward today yeah

there and I saw it and I was happy about it but I haven't seen any talk about the album I haven't seen any real promo for

the album so the net got me to thinking well how do you promo an album today outside of making the announcement

I mean I think well in this particular case she probably lost a little bit of steam by kind of falling back for a

little bit well like you'd like if you fall back that's what happens yeah yes in a label dispute

that's what happens yeah and they kind of left it open-ended there weren't really much answers because for a while

I was wondering what Tim was doing with it and then I found out later that they had split when she put out that EP and

there was nothing Timlin related and you were introduced to us as that and then we never got an answer as to what

happened right so it's kind of been an incomplete story so it's hard to promote when people have way more questions than

just what the music is right now was a good point I was talking to uh B

Smith after he performed it on our live podcast and you know I was I wasn't too

familiar with his story but he has a story kind of similar with some struggle and yes I'm labeled Rama and having a

bounce back I'd be feeling bad it's always like the super super talented kids that end up in all this type of

label drama yeah I was there for some of the beasts Misha that's actually how we met when he was at Motown I produced a

video for him and we met him play to some music I could so he could like actually sing

but they kept trying to put him in like this corny popcorn type records that

like I could tell when we shot the video how bored he was with the music and they

were super the label was too hands-on with him like every little thing like they wouldn't even let us all go out

after the shoot they didn't want him to go anywhere like it was terrifying there's a woman so when he kind of took

his time I went back and these two new records popped up I immediately went down to see where he was signed to and

when I saw RCA I was like all right thank [ __ ] god he got away from that label I think we're probably round the

same age I would say 2829 let me not say that though yeah no he

can't be 25 he could sing sing I worked with him once a PI five years ago I

don't know if he was still with Motown or what right I wasn't around that time but he was doing fairly poppy kind of

stuff hey Otto to his stuff I didn't realize that he could sing sing exactly seems to stay in the pocket that he's in now he could say he has some really good

records right now he needs to stay in that he was great with like the crowd in action stuff - no put on a show his

records now actually have substance and contents who like the record that we did back then was called snapback and it was

just like they ripped some old doodoo [ __ ] yeah don't want to hear snapback

the hook was just like snap it was like [Music]

back out over time and they got the mood God nobody will be do they own their own

head and Jill button snapback record and you'll wear snapbacks thanks always there for this song with the Bell oh my

god you're serious a hat yes an arm B song about a snap now you see what we

would like that sounds crazy you know and I could see how miserable he was through the whole thing so I was like I

think this guy got off label and can make music that he likes usually usually it is the more talented people when you

ask like why is it seem like it's always the talented people that get [ __ ] up it's because they just want to like make music like the people that are good

marketers business people know what they're doing going in right you know I'm saying creatives are just like yo I

just want to sing like rappers wanna right right exactly exactly yeah they

were trying to Chris Brown him like the early Chris Brown [ __ ] like running like give me that no they yeah they were

trying to do him because he could dance analyze [ __ ] so yeah you know you got rhythm yeah how do those type of

creative control beefs happen and I wonder how often they're still happening now we don't talk about that enough like

and probably people don't Saul about it because they can't spot it but when you're at a label and they want you to

make music one type of way and you make music Oh different type of way and now you're gonna come together somehow to

find a happy medium and some that you'll promote that I feel comfortable making still well we see certain artists like

Ozzy he was I think the most recent big artist that was kind of dealing with that no but he didn't no no no I don't

think that was a creative control they wasn't trying to tell him what type of music to make it was still some

controlled oh I don't think that it happens as much maybe on the label level now since the label does it in general seem

to want to be involved with music like labels just want you to already have [ __ ] Rocking and then they just put it

out so it probably happens I don't like a production I can't wait the music

industry is really owned by even our data even Tiana and you did it whatever

I think she has some differences as far as create create creative that she yes

breasts oh yeah when you learned about yeah when you create things one way and then it released a different way I've

always told artists that are newly signed to more majors the the best way

to figure out how what your label thinks of you when you first signed to them is ask them for a photo shoot

mmm-hmm and let them do it right let me see what you think I should dress like

what my background is what this is gonna look like cuz I need to know what you think of me before I even start anything

why is it that is really good why is it only in our culture like artists they

they take they take but we want to create and change it like I don't think Picasso went through would well there's

some Rapids I was gonna say I'm not sure that it doesn't happen in country or rock it may happen we I'm just maybe not

hip to it you know I'm saying yeah I think probably will rock with certain genres I wanna speak too much to it cuz

that's not really my wheelhouse but like I'm sure they try to make someone more emo or something to that degree like I

think like with Green Day when they started out more of the punk [ __ ] and then went to emo pop doesn't sure there was a label behind that yeah in country

I don't know I'm ignorant to that but I know a lot of them look and dress similar right so and that is them so

yeah I don't think it has as many subgenres within it word that would get as complicated as it does about I'm

speaking of this subgenres there was a bob costas Ray Charles interview running around and I just want to place some of

it cuz I thought that was interesting in regards to our pop conversation we were having in different genres and I don't

know why I didn't think they'd just go to Ray himself who was there but when

that good about their asking him about some of these consumers outside being clear don't worry be an exception I mean Elvis

was a talented guy well okay how did was

Elvis what Elvis did he caused a lot of the populace if you wanted then usually

when people did probably say you're living white people to stop listen to a lot of music that normally wouldn't have

been listening to million I guess I'm gonna lose at least about a third of my fans right now but to say that Elvis was

was so great and so outstanding like

they say he's the king I got it I got in trouble because one guy asked me this question and I said

the king of what he got mad at me I don't think of Elvis like that because I know too many artists that are looking

farm looking far greater than ever that's how I always feel I don't know it

can be continued but yeah pop in a nutshell right young him and you know

who [ __ ] what Elvis he's ready to go in

no you know where ray he comes from that time and that era he was around yeah and

he knows what the sound was and arkad the real architects and I wrote quote kings of that that sound were so I

understand him feeling like that is like L was like Chuck Berry what about you

know a little Richard and you know these guys that were they were doing that but was inventing it oh yeah that was

probably watched listening to them on the radio so it's like how was he the king of it but I mean you know again I

if Ray Charles are speaking like that I got a mob saluting them that's very cool

absolutely what else is there that we need to get to Instagram trying some

[ __ ] in Canada with the whole no follower no like thing that interface

that they're rolling out that's only Canada trade got it first there they are testing it now in Canada

so you can't send it not who should you can't see your the likes on the picture yeah you can't see likes and

you can't see the follower count America and this was supposed to help and this is supposed to help with social anxiety

and mental health and depression because there are studies that are can't give

you a timeline back in order because that'll that'll [ __ ] with your plan yeah the world is crazy but why do you think

this look grazie because it's like I was having a conversation that lady when we

was talking about uh they were like Sai Baba many conversations you have in LA yeah this is one of them in sitting

around talking my cyberbully and I kept saying you know cyber bullying and I started laughing are you one of those

I'm like that's not real like we got to stop creating these things that really aren't really making them an issue like

cyberbullying is not real like if somebody's talking about you online you can simply block that person or not

going that act like it's that simple like bullying in real life is like I can't avoid

I can't walk 30 blocks down to avoid this one neighborhood because it's a guy on his block that doesn't like me and

every time I come home from school he wants to fight me that's real bullying like if I open my app and people told

mommy and I going my room and start crying that's not just don't go on that app or block the people that are talking

about you I shut up because I feel like everything Mall says it's insensitive that's why y'all shut up too but no one

ever says the world is just too sensitive and we got to stop catering we

got to stop acting like life isn't difficult and it's not hard and that things aren't gonna happen and everybody's not gonna like you like we

got to stop acting like these are real things they're they're gonna always exist but if somebody is talking about you on an app like we shouldn't start

making designing it in a way to where we should like okay let's let's help appease the people that are feeling some

type of way and they're being bullied and they feel like because they don't have a lot of followers and like okay but if they're not they're less than

somebody else I mean that's just stupid let me jump in here okay let's say stupid and let's say you're right if if

statistics are showing that there's a link to mental health and in terms of what

they do on social media wouldn't that still be proactive in trying to do some about it or against it if human lives

are at stake even if it's stupid shouldn't you try to troubleshoot yes

you should try to troubleshoot it but what I'm saying is how much [ __ ] are we gonna start just troubleshooting because

there are people who always obviously have deeper issues than just being quote unquote cyber bullied on an app like

this a deeper issue they're like you're you're you're insecure within your solo you need to not be on any app with the

rest of the billions of people in the world like if you have insecurities like you can't you shouldn't put yourself in

that pool of people who may not be insecure and now that's where I do agree

with mall well there are no tests ran to get online there are no you don't you

just don't know what somebody else is feeling or going through or where they are mentally in their head online but in

the real world yeah they put all types of [ __ ] in front of you to make sure they know that your Ducks are in a row

right that's true like you can't get mad at you can't say oh you know I'm scared

of these movies and I don't want all I'd see violence and then go see it on a source of mega movie don't go to the
