robo-dog yeah that's associated okay it's rough okay I don't want this lightning No mm-hmm no I didn't want it before you

  • 3:24

started yeah how's that going though I mean it's it's easier as you know the

  • 3:30

day is going as it gets he's not drinking water is the toughest part for me so yeah I can't work can't eat or drink

  • 3:36

anything from sunup to sundown so after what's our 8:05 today okay oh

  • 3:42

    [ __ ] I've been doing it all

  • 3:57

yeah [ __ ] matter will be to the ninth up so do you wake up at like 5:00 in the

  • 4:02

morning and just like a bad [ __ ] and go back to bed up until 5:00 and won't anyone else oh yeah I just eat you know

  • 4:08

you know what awful roar are you asking me out what I was feeling and uh joking

  • 4:13

about the playoffs I did come up with an interesting question that I wanted to ask y'all in in uh in in creative land

  • 4:22

and in the world of arts like dancing rapping singing drawing what else is

  • 4:32

there [ __ ] I don't know but there's a few of them which one do you think would

  • 4:38

help you the most in a time of heartbreak music to do or just to be

  • 4:44

around to do by you if you were this if you were a singer if you were a rapper

  • 4:51

like which one of these would make you deal with the heartbreak the best oh maybe rapping rap yeah you go really

  • 4:58

get your [ __ ] off yeah when you rap drawing your drawing I can't draw so

  • 5:04

painting yeah painting is a good one if you're um somebody that has hobbies like

  • 5:09

you're into like building things like cars yeah I'm saying yeah that [ __ ] like everything that keeps your mind busy

  • 5:15

I was a troubled in the crib like damn and if like dancers was all [ __ ] up I

  • 5:21

wonder what they do at home alone they just get up and start just dancing around the [ __ ] feel you got it bad by

  • 5:26

oh that was it that would do it dance in the rain and it's been raining yeah there you go oh don't let me go to Dyckman

  • 5:39

we got to get this thing right y'all

  • 5:46

something see right there where would you wear with your gentlemen why you laughing at

  • 5:52

me gonna be dead we would you gentlemen like to begin one on this fine fine day here Maul was trying to explain

  • 5:57

something to us and we lost him in the sentence and said just save it for the air Oh told my flat the lad does it

  • 6:03

again right Roz was arrested on a some type of money I don't want to say

  • 6:09

laundering but money Funland funny mom funny was the money of thumb was funny with him it was like some fun as you

  • 6:18

share that isn't a word on process 95 yeah for process came in with Brock it

  • 6:26

was a group that was doing some type of investing somewhere and Barack's name was involved I don't know no prob up

  • 6:33

with something superstar Vlad posted the

  • 6:39

episode when prize was on his show talking about that exact thing hmm

  • 6:45

skin but to do yeah Brock like improv said on the show you know how do you

  • 6:51

even know about that and they last about he was like well [ __ ] I wanted I want to

  • 6:56

nod at his public information I'm looking at this [ __ ] like it's not public if only Vlad knows I didn't know

  • 7:01

that like he said that [ __ ] and it he went on to talk about it he did the feds right and now he's arrested

  • 7:07

for that and I just thought it was crazy that Vlad actually repost it why do you think it's crazy in the land of the the

  • 7:14

clout chase I'm not saying that that's what he was doing cuz that's just what he does that type of [ __ ] that's just [ __ ] [ __ ] but it was like you shouldn't

  • 7:21

be shot today I wasn't shocked but it was just like oh that's another good question anymore like when y'all shocked

  • 7:28

anymore today it will goes on very ready I'm shocked do the right thing right

  • 7:34

there yeah that's what I'm saying like there's something going on yeah like when people have integrity surprising

  • 7:42

yes like good like damn for really this is good still like

  • 7:47

skeptical when you say like yeah like one of the good cuz you expecting the [ __ ] to come any minute and it's

  • 7:52

like when the boss she don't come really oldest stand-up dude like okay yeah so that's what I'm that's what I'm shocked

  • 7:58

now when when people do the right thing there's we all just run around living on the defense yeah if it's not believing

  • 8:03

in that's the world we live in now man you got to be on defense but when did it become their way the internet we are

  • 8:10

gonna start this podcast on but uh I think the internet that has it that's a big part that there's a lot of false

  • 8:15

information out there yeah yeah are things being done for false reasons and things have been done for false reasons

  • 8:21

for years I think this is more magnified because the world is so much it's closing it now with Internet and social

  • 8:27

media like we can talk to people in London Africa any time of the day so I think now you have more access to people

  • 8:33

which means you have more access to people in their [ __ ] yeah used to just be able to see the wild [ __ ] like on your block or neighborhood yeah now I

  • 8:40

can wake up at 8 a.m. and watch all the [ __ ] [ __ ] that happened over the night exactly yeah and I get mad at that

  • 8:46

because it's like damn I wake up and see all the all the [ __ ] from strangers and these days I don't even know all the

  • 8:53

[ __ ] going on my friends lives yeah everybody's just holding their [ __ ] yeah don't care about the strangers are

  • 9:00

[ __ ] won't get as many views so you don't see it you know what you know

  • 9:10

that's his that's his business model mm-hmm so it's not it's not shocking and

  • 9:16

when people are consistent in their business model good for them you just got to know what business people are

  • 9:22

into Yeah right like just agree looking at it but I don't know why you can't in

  • 9:29

the business of knocking anybody that's trying to make a living out here and

  • 9:34

everybody some people for how they get a living out here I don't do you can't you definitely kid

  • 9:40

I got a problem with that oh no no no I'm talking about making a

  • 9:46

living oh it's heaven that's all about that yeah making a living I'm not gonna

  • 9:51

do that because everybody gets a turn everybody gets a turn true so horse butt

  • 9:57

and his upbringing that has him maneuvering that way I wouldn't never click I don't know if lad never met him

  • 10:03

you know I'm just saying I thought that that was while to post that boy right after Roz was arrested for exactly what

  • 10:10

he was talking about on his show that to me that's just a quick piece [ __ ] and I don't actually blame Vlad for the

  • 10:16

processing because prize is an adult that would know better in those situations and an adult that has been locked up before I get mad when flag

  • 10:23

goes after these kids that don't know any better and all they want to do is get on and have a moment and he takes

  • 10:28

advantage of that oh like hip-hop I agree glads no I'm not saying flat is the only

  • 10:33

one out here - Wow [ __ ] he's one of them any so I don't get mad at him for that the Prophet that process an adult he

  • 10:39

should know better well let's let's state here let's talk about the sting operation that was rolling loud

  • 10:48

certainly looks at what Erickson was there coincidence Erickson you were

  • 10:57

there I'm glad you made it back safely word while I was hearing all these

  • 11:03

stories develop I couldn't figure out why anybody would ever want to attend this and then and then more than what to

  • 11:11

beef it rollin loud is not Wow but whenever you have people in one city and

  • 11:17

a city that really because I I'm sorry Miami outside of the beach and the strip

  • 11:23

there really isn't there's nothing so everybody is right there with each other if you have issues with each other

  • 11:29

you're gonna is not something out of ten you're gonna bump into each other at a restaurant at a club so it's not I don't

  • 11:35

want to say rolling loud because I'm people that was at the actual rolling loud festival the shows were great

  • 11:42

people had a good time it's all the [ __ ] outside of that where the bull [ __ ] happen I don't even inside and for me

  • 11:50

personally that was way too overwhelming every video in picture I saw I said wow that looks like a place I do not want to

  • 11:56

be in right now festival poppy is saying that's not how

  • 12:02

Oh big festivals are rolling loud is holding specific to the lineup they choose in the demographic they go after

  • 12:08

as far as age it's a little different Wilder and a little more nuts younger

  • 12:14

artists Wilder artists artists that have made their way through non-traditional

  • 12:19

routes mm-hmm okay no there's definitely a place for it and it's why it's so

  • 12:25

successful me personally I just would lose my mind there that's too overwhelming for me but in that start

  • 12:32

chief keef on there and I was really happy though because I feel like he's not on enough the festival list cuz he

  • 12:37

has so many great festival type records but you know I think that Chief Keef should be given some type of a Dirk

  • 12:45

Nowitzki tour or like a Wayne appreciation tour Chief Keef needs some type of appreciation appreciation moment

  • 12:52

compensation for him changing the sound to what a lot is going on right now which we talked about on here yes Wayne

  • 12:59

Chief Keef two people that I put really high now music and Kanye so how the sound isn't know it just didn't look

  • 13:06

comfortable more and again again I'm not that festival dude I did see and read

  • 13:13

from a lot of people that there were a lot of great performances and people had a great time but that type of energy so

  • 13:19

what what all went down let's talk about it Kodak black was arrested right yeah that was the first thing I saw and he was arrested because he put the wrong

  • 13:27

[ __ ] on a gun a gun application firearms application that's what it was okay

  • 13:35

that's confusing to me a little bit yeah they say it's basically ten years for that I saw that yeah well you know we

  • 13:42

can ever pay see but that's when we can never pay attention to when they stay but they're facing because I don't think that they'd be trying to get I don't

  • 13:48

think they're trying to get Kodak with in year four whatever you put one of the papers it's like a lawsuit whether it's a high number yeah do you think they're

  • 13:55

they're targeting like what are you doing what are you doing I don't I don't get it I want to know what the lie was I

  • 14:04

guess yeah I didn't see any details really my prior record I don't know if I

  • 14:10

don't know laws cuz I know Florida laws are a lot more lenient but if you have a prior record I don't know if you can

  • 14:15

legally registered man okay okay got it

  • 14:21

got it yeah totally understood why don't people just have armed

  • 14:26

security died over city there well I want we gonna get into that too because

  • 14:32

watching that watching all that rolling loud [ __ ] that's what I thought I said damn the cost of being a rapper to just

  • 14:38

move to just move and travel and we can get into that more because we know uh we

  • 14:43

know a whole bunch of rappers who you know you're supposed to look the part before you're actually making the part

  • 14:49

so it becomes expensive to you know everybody the label ain't giving you security some artists don't have enough

  • 14:56

money to roll around with that type of securing this [ __ ] shift complex wouldn't pay for the security for me and

  • 15:02

act and nadeska at wannabe t [ __ ] it was four hundred five hundred dollars but we

  • 15:08

on the show talking [ __ ] every [ __ ] day like security and people's safety don't really be our concern until

  • 15:16

something happens like I told them it complex when we were having that debate fam it takes a half a second for fight

  • 15:23

to break out ya know no time it's something that you have to be prepared for well my thing is as an artist if I'm

  • 15:30

the type of person that I have these ongoing cases and I can't be around certain things at some point you have to

  • 15:37

take control of the situation and you have to say look I'm not going back to jail I'm under these restrictions and

  • 15:42

these laws okay I do want to protect myself so therefore I have to have armed security I'm not know I wonder my home

  • 15:48

always carrying the weapons I'm not carrying the weapons don't bring that [ __ ] around me because if they jump on

  • 15:53

his bus I'll pull his car or whatever I'm the one that's going to prison and I would like to know when he filled out

  • 15:58

this gun application because Kodak black has been in police custody quite a bit

  • 16:04

recently yes so now you're telling me we got to wait until Roland loud to snatch

  • 16:10

him up and again I do understand and that's how the authorities work sometimes they wait till everybody's in a centralized fight all y'all rap is

  • 16:16

gonna be over there we'll pull up my only experience getting arrested was that that Best Buy show and I'll tell

  • 16:23

you promoters nuts cut you open it this part because they off though I know promoters sometimes unwillingly which i

  • 16:33

think is what happened in this Best Buy thing that's why was gonna cut you off promoters unwillingly sometimes give their acts up to the police and don't

  • 16:39

even realize it because you have to get it cleared with a venue when you say alright have a artist popping up or an

  • 16:45

artist on a headline a lot of venues don't like rappers and you have to clear with them and so what the venue does

  • 16:50

anytime they have an artist they have to check in with the precinct again I don't know if they do is with rock acts but they do hip-hop acts they have to

  • 16:57

contact the police precinct there and say hey this is the person this is their government name they're coming to my establishment tonight so sometimes

  • 17:03

promoting this look an artist yeah put them up and not even know it Rory's absolutely right that is how I

  • 17:10

got locked up in that Best Buy Theater thing I at the time had no idea that you could even do that right and you

  • 17:17

wouldn't think that it's a rapper you think that if a spot books you then they would want you to perform they want you

  • 17:23

to bring in it the revenue you don't think they're cooperating with the police I was and that was a speeding ticket it was like something stupid like

  • 17:30

that and you made me miss the entire show but back to a word that keeps

  • 17:35

coming up here more on ownership back then I had no idea that and you wouldn't

  • 17:40

you wouldn't think about that who owns what venue plays the plays a big part in

  • 17:47

that as well like if the venue's are part of a chain and elimination owns a lot of venues

  • 17:53

yeah man there's different there's different monopolies and you can't crack

  • 17:58

it so yeah when one thing is you again as an artist you know when you have real

  • 18:03

street [ __ ] going on and real issues out there you said you said that you said that last week

  • 18:08

we know you said people know the people who are in real [ __ ] and I'm still on the list of I don't well I don't know

  • 18:15

well the artist knows got it the person like when you're the artist and you have real street issues going on in real beef

  • 18:21

you know when you have to move around with protection and my thing is this there's no better way to be comfortable

  • 18:27

knowing that I'm not gonna get arrested I'm not gonna violate any any probation laws when you have higher security and

  • 18:35

they're there there aren't license to license a so now you ain't got you removed that issue so if the cops pull

  • 18:40

his van over I'm not a violation of anything right like to me that's when you could really have fun and be

  • 18:46

loosened like you know John when you finally got your license you you just I'm comfortably now you different behind

  • 18:51

it's a whole different drive when you have your life say so when you have all your [ __ ] together legally and you know

  • 18:57

that I'm not in no violence I stop short stop short with a Cosmo you just know

  • 19:06

it's just conflict I being comfortable in black privilege listen I'm Liz I'm

  • 19:27

not violating any laws I'm good I just understand other fingers making all this money and don't want to be comfortable

  • 19:33

don't let that piece of mind because especially hold on not to cut you off orbital cut you off because moral when

  • 19:40

you when you are I guess when you're embroiled in that type of beef like you're saying your number one priority is safety it's not really freedom of

  • 19:49

mind or comfort so you feel like I know I've spoken a few dudes where they felt like fan what am i armed security for

  • 19:56

security got a family security got a wife security got a mom dad I'm supposed to trust security to jump in front of

  • 20:02

some [ __ ] if it pop off instead of me or one of my [ __ ] I grew up with like I've heard that before as well it's a fair point yeah but my thing is when you

  • 20:09

have hired security arms coud they are trained right like they are trained to

  • 20:14

money took on she was spending on security others let you know how much money he was don't think people know how

  • 20:20

much it costs hey kid when you're making a lot of money on is priceless man no I

  • 20:26

agree with you but I don't think it matters at a certain point even at what those leaked tapes that was whatever was

  • 20:33

going on with the CAHSEE and whoever the leaked tapes that came out even the people that was allegedly targeting him with saying fam for us to not catch him

  • 20:40

he would have to roll around with that type of security every single day and his money is not that long it's going to

  • 20:46

run out yeah it's a fact nobody's money is long enough to do that daily no I

  • 20:52

mean when you have again when you have certain real beefs and real issues in the streets like that [ __ ] does like we

  • 20:59

talk beef is expensive depending on the type of beef here and that [ __ ] is very expensive well mr.

  • 21:06

squash it what's up les squashes yes that's what you want I'll squash it aggressively what's up Nikki you won't

  • 21:12

walk around the corners watch it

  • 21:17

literally your job most of your job is telling people where you are right that's true that's your job yeah I'll tell you to squash it after

  • 21:24

I'll tell you I aim to one right yo fam I promise you we should squash it you

  • 21:31

don't have to go there for real no I understand man my heart was heavy just

  • 21:37

reading some of that [ __ ] MBA young boy somebody did you shoot at him yes a good

  • 21:46

nut whoa yeah girl got hit yes one of the trunk or something I don't know if it's a girl or his girl but a girl was

  • 21:52

hit I think a kid got hit too and I read

  • 21:59

a story that set up that his security tracked down the gunman and killed him but then I read another story that said

  • 22:05

that wasn't the gunman that was kid that he killed yeah it was a bystander so

  • 22:13

yeah and if all of that is true it's chaotic they're gonna they're gonna dead

  • 22:20

it's chaotic very very hard to move around in Miami a rolling loud next year

  • 22:26

Florida's literally pull you over every block everybody get out they're gonna

  • 22:31

search these cars search these vehicles now yeah I can't move nobody comfortable but I don't want it to get like it was

  • 22:37

and what every year that was where it's like all of the hip-hop events when the hip-hop police and [ __ ] was popping

  • 22:43

where's like okay the awards now are in Atlanta we got to see what's goin on no

  • 22:48

awards in LA move got to see what's goin on like fam we already don't have that many events

  • 22:55

    y'all gonna start [ __ ] up their festivals yeah and that's that's that's where [ __ ] get they most money I mean

  • 23:01

we didn't even get into that part yet if the festival's pay you the most it has artists we gotta get it on the

  • 23:07

road unfortunately from the bottom of the barrel like why would why don't we [ __ ] up our own plate that's just

  • 23:14

in our culture we [ __ ] up ourselves another rapper was killed out there

  • 23:20

yeah wrestling P star AAA be hella bans he was killed on my hair from Chicago

  • 23:27

for years all's he was he on the bill was it was just a guest her so yeah man

  • 23:35

I pray for my rap brothers out there man again man it's like what you know we

  • 23:43

love to where's that the energy we had and togetherness we had when when it

  • 23:49

passed you see how fast like we go away from that like it's you know I mean and that's why when people was like oh you

  • 23:54

think things have changed or not I hate to be honest and I hate to sound like you know person that don't have faith and oh but I honestly don't I don't see

  • 24:01

it I've seen this movie a thousand times like it's like we lose one and we come

  • 24:07

together for two weeks and you know your body's on a positive vibe and you know even the artist for a while there was no

  • 24:12

a lot of people communicating a lot of people squash I think think that still happen to know yeah it's a hard hard

  • 24:19

kicking it still so maybe some of the older ones but I mean I think there are

  • 24:24

a lot of artists that are just a little more cognizant I still think the energy feels feels different out there since nipsey's passing and I don't attribute

  • 24:30

any of this [ __ ] to how the community is reacting from that I don't

  • 24:37

I don't know I'm not saying this I'm just saying like we we go right back into negative [ __ ] we get right back

  • 24:44

into negative mode when we're around each other you know I'm saying especially in all its in it and I only

  • 24:50

see it in the hip-hop culture when we have these festivals where we have these toys when we have these shows when we

  • 24:56

have these these video shoots it's like only in our culture do things pop off and somebody is killed and somebody is

  • 25:02

and it's like yo what the [ __ ] is going on yeah absolutely right more but I don't think I don't think that while

  • 25:10

you're right there's a lot of people living that that way and they just take it what comes with that life there are a whole lot of people that are

  • 25:17

not trying to live that way and you just go outside and something happened listen it was a bystander they

  • 25:23

got killed a kid got hit I look like a bad driving like

  • 25:28

accidents don't happen because I'm a bad driver this is ledee happening because there are bad drivers on the road yeah

  • 25:34

but if my thing is with this situation if this gunman doesn't let off an

  • 25:39

assault rifle in front of the Trump Hotel broad daylight middle today like

  • 25:44

none of these things happen it's a domino effect what's a domino effect because they wanted to be one because it's big business and death so we can't

  • 25:51

ban guns and address the [ __ ] gun laws in any that [ __ ] because we need us to keep killing us mm-hmm we need us to

  • 25:57

keep killing all right we can all we need to complain so much so much though I agree I don't understand this big big

  • 26:03

business with the gun [ __ ] gun laws and all that but we can also be smaller than good else they're recognized we can also

  • 26:10

recognize that it's a it's a business that they're playing Prison is a business the gun the gun law is a

  • 26:16

business biggest business we don't have to we don't have to play into that because that's not our business and that's my problem that don't benefit us

  • 26:23

so why are we playing into that business when it's not our business that's all I'm saying I agree yeah well so

  • 26:44

    you

  • 27:56

I would say happy Zion Bay but I don't know what's going to lunch us yet couple minutes we'll see I don't know what's

  • 28:02

going on out there yet and after my sports rent a few weeks ago we know yes finally I'm putting me first

  • 28:23

    [Laughter]

  • 28:33

    [Music]

  • 28:44

    [Music]

  • 28:54

  • 30:23

can either go really well but you probably won't or you'll just be sitting

  • 30:29

there soaking and you're feeling staring at your friends not doing a thing yeah

  • 30:35

now you need to certain people around let it get you out of that yes true balls gotta be there yeah last little

  • 30:42

  • 30:53

  • 30:59

Poconos trip it was so glad we all got food poisoning - oh man everybody did

  • 31:05

  • 31:33

  • 31:39

  • 31:48

came in with a hibachi get up and none of us flinched why didn't it was maybe

  • 31:56

  • 34:01

great I'm different about working out like actually in the I used to be a

  • 34:08

whole workout guy from the whole life but the gym is just different getting out of the house too is important for me yeah first year with the trainer today

  • 34:15

    no work invite me man

  • 34:21

I want to do something anything man I've

  • 34:30

realized how to shape our voice but I'm gonna feel tomorrow drive for all these

  • 34:40

[ __ ] tour dates and it's either McDonald's or 7-eleven as the only options that we have I got to do

  • 34:45

something yeah see I gotta go to the gym because the same joy people get from actually going to gym and working out I get that same

  • 34:52

joy from going up to dude why don't you don't this machine City awarded oof it's

  • 36:32

  • 36:55

  • 37:01

what happened the rider dies man that's all I was thinking through the whole thing well now somebody 3d Ted Bundy

  • 37:19

with Ted Bundy we have a field day with these holes these new lows Ted Bundy

  • 37:25

Instagram do buy kill Joe thinks they

  • 37:46

  • 38:06

    yeah laid off though it's a real [ __ ] don't tell y'all yo yo yo y'all this was

  • 38:17

happening before you get on we got two

  • 38:27

minutes to the dress no something was

  • 38:32

going on when Emily started making verses I like I enough no they're not

  • 38:38

giving us stock one Emmer is not the [ __ ] y'all Rapids will blow some [ __ ] up mm-hmm and

  • 38:45

every time I see it I'm forced to think that man we just don't know how much power and control we have but that's

  • 38:53

another topic for another time what else what else would you gentlemen like to talk about shout out to everybody who attended Rowling loud

  • 38:58

shout out to everybody who made it out safely shout out to everybody who will be there next year yeah I certainly

  • 39:04

don't want to deter anybody but I do want people to be safe at all times especially when you're attending these

  • 39:09

types of events in the summertime it's gonna get hot it's gonna get crazy good music loud music vices drinks drugs

  • 39:16

women just be responsible all the good fun [ __ ] yeah all the great things in

  • 39:22

life loud music drugs and women yeah it's [ __ ] up yeah it's [ __ ] up what else

  • 39:28

is happening on janae and Shawn tricked me you were tricked you they tricked me told you how do you feel what do you

  • 39:33

feel hurt no film betrayed no that's

  • 39:41

older did you pace around the crib I'm

  • 39:47

not I'm not fooled often but they tricked me mmm no big trick

  • 39:53

Big Sean said to you on the phone yeah we found oh please I keep telling people

  • 40:01

    [Music]

  • 40:08

    [ __ ] to tell you like we'd be going through it I don't really hear that from duty not the real [ __ ] real [ __ ] I

  • 40:15

tell you okay so are we to believe that and we're not staying on this too long but so you don't think that janae was

  • 40:21

shooting at Shawn on their last [ __ ] she said she all right so everybody stop so that's a yes from y'all so now my

  • 40:27

question y'all is can they reconcile and be friends and be cool and be everything

  • 40:33

that Shawn said they were and still like beef and records oh yeah they can they

  • 40:38

got like janae said that was a moment she recorded that a while ago there's more moments yeah want to hear that we

  • 40:45

saw the most recent moment but we part two is coming to that album - yeah they were together I go back and forth what I

  • 40:51

sitting in the lifeguards they wanted to see in each other from your mystical way we were both drowning

  • 41:00

palm up do what she did with sage my god

  • 41:10

you the sage laid on the beach by a struggle blow torch they look you don't

  • 41:16

save me with a blow I think you getting all the sage out if you crisp it that

  • 41:22

way slightly lady hit the edges it's like I'd be judged that's better mommy

  • 41:28

other [ __ ] I'll be judging with all the futuristic ways of smoking weed like the super big glass bond like Jo it's

  • 41:33

the most natural way to smoke no you're gonna die before those are called crack pipes yeah it's a lot of work

  • 41:40

I like the bong smoking pool to be like a casual I don't like like the wax and all the Nana I'm not dad yeah no no no

  • 41:47

that's your the fun [ __ ] no I'm cool that's why you start tripping so she didn't have you vacuum

  • 41:52

in Assad welcome cool you can vacuum right outside those dirty block I'm

  • 42:03

happy for Sean I'm Matthew Sean engine a I tell you one thing this [ __ ] uh 2199 now I'm better be good better be

  • 42:11

good I better hear some some arguments they better be live argument no I want your live arguments all be alive

  • 42:20

argument let it be album sequencing be the live argument track one the start [Laughter]

  • 42:27

this star interlude just be real text messages yeah gotta go back and forth

  • 42:34

like kissing styles but in an argument drag to going to bed after the start

  • 42:41

yeah and sometimes the fight start in the night you don't even know what to be going to bed that's the worst thing

  • 42:48

finally lay down next to each other for three hours then you want to argue when my head hits the pillow bro so much

  • 43:04

    [Music]

  • 43:09

not talking about this depression with the president oh my god I gave you a

  • 43:40

week depressed and sad and in the house and this ain't on the doctor but I think

  • 43:45

I'm handling this pretty well yeah I'm handling as well so for you to be the friend that says yo drilling a

  • 43:51

well by man up that's it right that's fair yeah we have a kid hollandaise is

  • 44:05

found but going to sleep alone that's

  • 44:13

why I was saying that I missed with Rory saying not because I'm sad and depressed I miss my relations you I'm gonna sleep alone it's just a different sleep it's a

  • 44:20

different man when you are woken up out of that sleep and anyway nobody to blame

  • 44:27

you should walk about to sleep naked man look around the room let me finally get on like the blankets again now for

  • 44:39

sleeves like I'm swimming swim inside know it's do

  • 44:44

and a blanket now you finally party your bed you can even know exist a 100m in the corners are over here to me no

  • 44:52

that's that's not that's not that's not lit I'll be living will be on the roads by myself that's lit seen it sounds like

  • 44:59

this how much snuff Rory because this used to be our bag but he's still got a fiancee tonight no yeah the road and

  • 45:11

some guys yeah I mean when you're on the road and then you go leave it alone and

  • 45:20

it's great alone on the road I do think I'm mad at diggers in a relationship though [ __ ] dog looking up at me like

  • 45:27

    [Laughter]

  • 45:35

defends you don't even follow me to the door I know with clothes it dog it's

  • 45:52

right in the funny [ __ ] you know what while we on this topic and during this time there's been I thought there's so

  • 46:00

many interesting topics to come talk to you all about but I kind of don't because I don't want people to think

  • 46:06

that it's like reflective of what I'm going to is I'm okay I'm trust me I'm okay keep me in your prayers keep her in your prayers I'm great now with that

  • 46:12

said the man's mind when he's deciding on if he should get his girl back okay

  • 46:20

I'm following it's tricky it is uh how

  • 46:27

do you know that for me not some walls

  • 46:33

waiting when seven [ __ ] days I'll tell you that much some more dish so that's what I'm saying fine finally

  • 46:38

finally finally a friend I know it is signed y'all know what

  • 46:44

Jesus did in seven days man deposit wall yeah I'm just sayin

  • 46:50

Rosie Jesus Oh God I don't know delgo Avery they're both they're the same but but no one's a father-son God's own gods

  • 46:57

Melvin they're also the same but no Jesus did some awesome put them on Jesus's something in seven days all

  • 47:04

right they both did some [ __ ] oh yeah all I know is these seven days is a lot more nothing gets accomplished in seven

  • 47:10

days like after Burgos Shh yeah I just gotta

  • 47:15

know what to do ro now tonight a spring here tonight let's just let everybody

  • 47:23

know mall is not our leading shopping

  • 47:40

for single now all right I'm I'm kidding

  • 48:17

about all that the days and trying to get your girl back if you're decided we're still watching oh no we don't have

  • 48:23

to no but I think that what as men because men all act like more I think it's just interesting cuz men normally

  • 48:30

decide that alone right and then whatever route you take you're kind of going about it in covert operation like

  • 48:36

secretive you're not really sharing and then when some [ __ ] got to take the route of doing it publicly and I've done

  • 48:43

that before I've done that before a dangerous slippery slope it's a life I never want to live you be putting your

  • 48:50

whole rep one line oh yeah chick that's [ __ ] a Nick Nick

  • 48:58

so as I'm thinking about all these things I'm just saying for men it's a

  • 49:03

lot to have to juggle yeah but once the ego sets down and you give that to that

  • 49:09

when is that when is that mmm I get it like two or three weeks where you go

  • 49:15

kind of sets off all right so you're not bought so far from more more sort of weak no for your ego not to be not sad

  • 49:22

most an you should've been over this all right no your ego to settle down cuz you

  • 49:27

have all that pain and all that [ __ ] that happens you can like kind of have a clearer mind in two weeks on what I really want to do cuz ego is driven with

  • 49:36

us with a lot of [ __ ] if you give a little bit like you care or don't you haven't clear minds you have to live and

  • 49:45

die on as men with our ego live and die off what you give in that beginning if you don't give a [ __ ] you got a live-in tie for the rest of this post-breakup

  • 49:53

[ __ ] on that hill no only the only reason our laughs is because men will be

  • 49:59

mad and depressed about their girl breaking up with them when we caused the break-up so so [ __ ] are you mad about

  • 50:06

you cause this of course we are thank you more like male beaten I just

  • 50:17

love more of relationship quirks but yeah like you can't be he's not wrong you can't spend more than seven days

  • 50:23

being depressed and mad it's a girl left you if you call Sara Lee know ya can hell no oh okay

  • 50:31

did you say you stupid for that if you caused it with you cause you cause this

  • 50:37

    boy

  • 50:50

listen if you cause your break up and so we're listening you got seven days and then get your [ __ ] together money go

  • 50:57

[ __ ] that you cause that [ __ ] so that's seven days okay so more with with dirty

  • 51:03

not showered oppressed night after that gets your [ __ ] together [ __ ] Joe yourself together okay good

  • 51:09

I'm sure I'm not even I'm not my I'm barely got over 630 germs oh you like it

  • 51:15

yeah you got seven days if you cause it seven days and that's it women too if women cause they're break up you have

  • 51:20

seven days to be depressed and then after day listen you cause I would love for me is

  • 51:26

every day how do those two things correlated okay would you mean work please jump in my love for somebody in

  • 51:31

all my well where was her love when your dick wasn't in your pants the only cause

  • 51:41

    I'm just saying like where was your where was just [ __ ] then when you was doing [ __ ] [ __ ] no I'm I'm

  • 52:04

    so glad [ __ ] what you was [ __ ] wrong relationship hypothetically I can miss

  • 52:11

someone and [ __ ] somebody else thank you you can but you know what you got seven days to beat up no head don't miss your

  • 52:20

friend I'll give you seven dumb missing after that I'm cracking jokes and I get gets the [ __ ] together [ __ ] that I need what seven days tell me

  • 52:27

    what getting your [ __ ] together entails [ __ ] stop being depressed get out of that [ __ ] that's all

  • 52:33

you just went get on the house and it is something get out the house to the most toxic mental health person I've ever all

  • 52:41

is amazing good Wow I just want you to not lead in on the topic why why y'all

  • 52:46

be thinking I'm crazy all the cysts in the world I'd never say Oh bro this but you what why you say you

  • 52:53

don't want me to leave y'all was soaking my dad jump jump in first time I saw if

  • 53:00

I'm not doing for the love of mall can we please have mall be a therapist no just get all that [ __ ] man damn I miss

  • 53:20

my shorty y'all miss my [ __ ] you was out every night [ __ ] gotta stop being

  • 53:32

real makes you a girl if you going out you can but why why you Mets how you miss her cuz you have to forget e that's

  • 53:38

the problem you can't miss your girl if you guys I'm gonna [ __ ] that Monday I'm giving my [ __ ] seven days you got seven days

  • 1:01:56

laugh you laugh everybody laugh and then I think it was me and my guy and parks might have still been there at this

  • 1:02:01

point and it's one bartender she wasn't saying very much but and she wasn't serving drinks that's a B I'm sure she

  • 1:02:09

was there an IG she was had her falling out like the bartender's do and she was just showing her phone or Bart's and her

  • 1:02:15

friends like the bartender's deal and they were going crazy over whatever's happening on the phone and then she came

  • 1:02:20

over and she puts in my face and says no don't say nothing I'm not gonna ever called you and then she put it up and then I was a girl and then she laughed

  • 1:02:27

all the bartender's laugh and then it just kept putting this [ __ ] to people's faces and making them a different gender

  • 1:02:33

and they thought this was a funniest most amazing thought analyzing thing in the universe I think I looked over there

  • 1:02:39

  • 1:03:50

guy I'm telling you I didn't do that

  • 1:03:56

but that's it's just it's spooky out there that's why I only bring it up to

  • 1:04:01

    say it's spooky out there it's weird this [ __ ] works

  • 1:04:07

really works it works it's nastiness they bout to do all types of add all

  • 1:04:12

types of tricks into the catfish game well I'll actually when she did put the phone in your face did you in fact think

  • 1:04:18

    you were a bad [ __ ] for podcast a nice

  • 1:04:24

added them off Rory sneaks in calling me a bad [ __ ] I'm noticing it I mean you

  • 1:04:31

have the baby and now I'm expressive the baby and no I didn't think I look like a

  • 1:04:42

bad [ __ ] I want to shout out take this time and shout out to the LGBTQ

  • 1:04:48

community of fierce they had that they had a their whole big pageant run rich

  • 1:04:54

while runway show over the weekend I know McCampbell was there when he was there everybody was there and it's a big

  • 1:05:01

thing y'all know I'm into that show poles you know my mom is with the chips my mom went with our my brother and it was real good I know y'all don't care

  • 1:05:07

about that but I do want to shout out the LGBT community for putting on an amazing amazing amazing event with just

  • 1:05:12

so many amazing people is it LGI Flo you missed a letter there's a queue yeah LGBTQ yes LGBTQ you're absolutely

  • 1:05:19

right is LGBTQ yeah that's right all right putting the note right order because I listen me I

  • 1:05:25

don't want them issues I don't want them issue the I don't want to argue fight I

  • 1:05:33

don't want to have to block nobody in our defense that's a very long acronym because I don't want any beef either so

  • 1:05:39

here we go let's see fierce fabulous independent educated radicals for

  • 1:05:45

community empowerment a community organization for LGBTQ youth will

  • 1:05:50

celebrate the NYC NYC ballroom community fashion and social justice in a special

  • 1:05:55

tribute for the event American uh who's this Ralph Ralph Rucci will create original pieces for icons of fashion and

  • 1:06:02

the ballroom so it's a bunch of pictures online you can see a lot of people talking about it I just want to lend our support there because it was an amazing

  • 1:06:08

event with that set where are we just watch the blue tank dock yes I did I did

  • 1:06:16

too and I was happy that it was on demand all the episodes I thought I was not to wait yeah well I still I still

  • 1:06:22

haven't seen it yet you gotta watch it you should yeah you see a lot of people like oh that is really really good but

  • 1:06:27

what are they covering everything like ever like they cover management they cover like the ground up basically and

  • 1:06:34

they talk about the original managers and they talk about when Devine and power came involved they talk about

  • 1:06:39

everything like all the way up until essentially now yet I think Devine was probably Devine rize's brother who was

  • 1:06:46

big on their management for the people that don't know I thought he was the most interesting aspect absolutely that entire I was gonna just watch the first

  • 1:06:51

two but the end of the second one Diwali came I was like I mean no they ended that second one with hey it's me Devon I

  • 1:06:57

haven't spoke period ever I'm walking man where's the said I was not allowed to specific yeah and now [ __ ] that oh

  • 1:07:03

well here we go d are ours how do you view RZA differently after seeing that uh no I was kind of hip to what was

  • 1:07:11

happening already this wasn't like news to why did they get into uh some of the alleged be for order yeah the rumored

  • 1:07:17

beat they be a lot of it in who produced this mass appeal that spill yeah and Sasha Jenkins who executive produced it

  • 1:07:24

was it Sasha I think so maybe I could be wrong find out who may I know that please

  • 1:07:29

heavily involved in it shoutout to Sasha and mass appeal Sasha has been doing great things for a really long time yes

  • 1:07:36

master Alex great khans really love the direction that mass appeal has gone in Oh with their content I agree with you

  • 1:07:43

worried but I do feel like this is a recent years thing name like the last three or four years for me yeah cause it

  • 1:07:49

kind of shifted no they got a lot of money from somewhere does what happen yeah well they know they shifted their

  • 1:07:54

direction more and stop chasing the short-lived content that every blog was trying to do all right let's just go

  • 1:08:00

with the longer [ __ ] that before our leash they got a lot of money from that part I think had a lot money to be lit

  • 1:08:06

but anyway I digress yeah I don't but the doc was uh it was dope

  • 1:08:11

really really well yo I mean yeah so when they show the way no not letting you off the hook that easy no you asked

  • 1:08:17

them something you didn't answer oh no a lot of that stuff already

  • 1:08:23

business while I thought that RZA did it like we talked about how the worst business decision he ever made was

  • 1:08:29

releasing her buddy from their contracts like I he didn't he didn't yeah yeah you

  • 1:08:39

let anybody out I know he did prior when ODB was a lot that was ODB's beef

  • 1:08:44

everyone got released in they [ __ ] why am I still on my contract right and where's I just have more plans for ODB

  • 1:08:50

but not Devine was sitting there saying how on earth are you just giving away fifteen million dollars in revenue

  • 1:08:56

it's a good forty there you go you know Riza yeah Devine tomorrow is saying Riza why are we doing this yeah Sasha Jenkins

  • 1:09:07

you peel off from mass appeal from mass appeal yes all right I'm gonna check

  • 1:09:16

this out now you show him a show the one of the reasons I didn't rush to it uh way more you still didn't tell us what

  • 1:09:22

you think about know what I know a lot of that stuff already but how's your perception of the Rizzo change it hasn't

  • 1:09:28

I don't I wouldn't say it changed I gotta have more insight on it now it's

  • 1:09:33

just um it's another story of how business will ruin friendships and how it will help friendships our rural

  • 1:09:40

business honestly and how friendships will that's why I took I don't I don't know friendships ruin business bro they were

  • 1:09:46

sitting there telling Devine that he shouldn't take Commission checks on [ __ ] today he was bringing them that was a little nuts today that's common yeah

  • 1:09:57

deal I want the whole million you shouldn't get 20% yeah but that's not I don't say I wouldn't say that's friendship ruining business I would say

  • 1:10:03

that that's people just not respecting the business yep like if you bringing me business opportunities naturally you

  • 1:10:11

should get some of that right you know I'm saying like but at the same time I wouldn't say that the friendship ruin that I wouldn't that's just people not

  • 1:10:18

knowing how business working not respecting our business work but no but I think of the fact that they grew up together and they were so close they

  • 1:10:24

felt more comfortable in saying these types of things to each other whereas if they it had been a strictly business

  • 1:10:29

relationship they may not have been comfortable saying you know where you getting 20 people at the same time if they were strictly business - I don't

  • 1:10:35

think any of that happens yeah I think the fact that they were also close-knit yes from the same area is how we got

  • 1:10:42

that legendary a group in moment and in music like so everything happens for a reason what I'm saying but I'm not gonna

  • 1:10:48

say friendship ruined the business I'm just saying that friends didn't know and they didn't respect yeah the business

  • 1:10:54

because they were all young yeah Street dudes trying to apply Street mentality to just you know legal make them making

  • 1:11:01

music making money and you know sometimes just get she gets lost and people feel like they want more than

  • 1:11:06

they're getting but they don't really understand the way this business works that's not how it goes all the time you

  • 1:11:12

know and but I mean a lot of that foot is just seeing that [ __ ] was like to see ice cream they had [ __ ] Riza's

  • 1:11:18

apartment they showed us them laying cream word like recording that [ __ ] that

  • 1:11:26

    was the craziest [ __ ] I'm serious a microphone keep reminding that [ __ ] like

  • 1:11:32

yo this is crazy like a lot of people wouldn't understand like exactly how ill that is to see that that's unbelievable

  • 1:11:39

I could not believe they was recording all of this [ __ ] back the word like that's what bugged me out on my own somebody was really walking around

  • 1:11:44

filming all of this [ __ ] or that was playing out so whoever the journalist was that was in there something you

  • 1:11:49

supplied a lot of it looked like anyway yeah interview some MTV Viacom [ __ ]

  • 1:11:55

yeah that's I'm sure they had to reach out to ya but not to double back to the divine thing I did also think it was

  • 1:12:00

interesting once they all became stars and Divine's beef which I kind of got of

  • 1:12:06

saying alright now we're doing this next bootleg project and I got a bust down my management [ __ ] with nine other managers

  • 1:12:12

[ __ ] that yeah I kind of feel them cuz if I'm Wu Tang manager Wu Tang is my

  • 1:12:18

[ __ ] right what'd you do with Method Man it's a cow yeah you get your management [ __ ] over there yeah cuz I'm managing Wu

  • 1:12:25

Tang sorry I guess I kind of got his point there but I thought that was interesting when more people in the group become entities and it's not just

  • 1:12:32

the clan anymore yes that's got to be tough part of some of those conversations where it's like

  • 1:12:39

alright should the group have one manager should the one manager be any of

  • 1:12:46

the group members is manager because that could present a conflict of interests it was in favoritism toward

  • 1:12:52

one act like that was that this was my segue for you to talk about your experience by the way cuz I was curious

  • 1:12:57

to see how it works oh I don't know good no no was it that's complicated I

  • 1:13:03

mean for my outside actually actually since you want to have that come you know and we don't have to was a real big

  • 1:13:10

there was one point around 2011 ish maybe where that was a big topic of

  • 1:13:18

concern in slaughterhouse all of us all of us had different managers all of us

  • 1:13:27

maybe had different value attached to us and all of us had different ideas as of

  • 1:13:35

what should be happening yeah and that made for a [ __ ] baracan speak on it from even just my

  • 1:13:41

position as an engineer it was hectic because each manager and each artist is

  • 1:13:47

asking for different things during a session like you bring up such as such like no he's over here working on this I

  • 1:13:53

can't bring that up so then here comes Joe to say hey I think all of it is a

  • 1:13:59

mess I think we need one manager that has nothing to do with any of us and

  • 1:14:06

that became an issue that's all right conversation which one is what what man no no no listen what do

  • 1:14:14

you always say [ __ ] 10% and nothing is nothing yeah like that's the bottom line and

  • 1:14:21

then for us to fight about if the pie is non-existent like let's go get some money and then let's argue about it yeah

  • 1:14:28

so I was saying yeah let's go get one manager and that made for a whole different level of conferences all right

  • 1:14:34

well who we gonna get I don't like him like [ __ ] like that it's just different when you have to make decisions as a

  • 1:14:41

group and you're not on your own you have to take other people in consideration into account yeah it's

  • 1:14:47

tough yeah and nine nine people word and why young dudes that don't really know

  • 1:14:53

don't know music business all grow up together yeah that's that just sounds like a headache with additional like

  • 1:14:59

that close they're one of the first people with like a major merch clothing [ __ ] they had mad [ __ ] affiliates

  • 1:15:06

like sons a man to kill are there's mad different [ __ ] going on with that business some is that the biggest brand

  • 1:15:12

that we've ever seen in hip-hop most expensive I would say yeah yeah but that's obvious I'm Tomo do you

  • 1:15:18

financially no known it might be yeah

  • 1:15:26

their props worldwide but I don't think it's anything good near wu-tang the longevity yeah the scope worldwide I

  • 1:15:34

mean they had branches in Europe like they had the whole tenure ap-- I mean yes some people could argue that the

  • 1:15:39

brand might be more popular than some of the members yeah you can absolutely you can put that logo up wherever that's

  • 1:15:46

that's not even an argument I don't think it's more popular than most of the members I would say honestly what a bit meth meth would probably the most

  • 1:15:52

recognizable worldwide just cuz everything is done yeah you could still make an argument that that whoo tang emblem is bigger than method I should

  • 1:16:00

have been in a Thundercat logo in the sky yeah I wouldn't even know what who threw the second one would be like who's

  • 1:16:07

next in my RZA no I mean uh-oh ran yeah the hell are gonna disagree

  • 1:16:16

with me in a lot of apartment I still think June is is probably close second worldwide Rockefeller probably idea for

  • 1:16:22

recognizable around the world if we're talking about I mean we speak at our labels and obviously like deaf Jim but

  • 1:16:27

if we're talking my artists I'm gonna tell about clicks yeah like clicks Rockefeller for sure Rough Riders got to

  • 1:16:33

be up there so I think worldwide unit is bigger than Rough Riders and Rockefeller I think do you and the Jillian gene is a

  • 1:16:40

lot further down the list and Rory does yeah notice my don't have g-unit before no limit I don't have g-unit more that's

  • 1:16:48

talking about the United States or the world top of the world

  • 1:16:53

they world washes different it's just it was that is until Juna could sell out

  • 1:17:03

arenas they fields whatever you want to call it around during their run know now

  • 1:17:08

that's not robot not America were selling out no [ __ ] Arena nowhere now

  • 1:17:14

ouf June it [ __ ] up worldwide babe you have them [ __ ] up worldwide muscle about the United States g-unit could

  • 1:17:20

sell out an arena war and a bunch of different [ __ ] countries around the world right now well I don't think so there's no way so good an econ so good

  • 1:17:27

certain acts can just do that around the world they're one of those X it might be just cuz they don't speak to this unit

  • 1:17:34

in Australia right now would sell out med Phi character I can't speak to their global I would agree maybe would Rory a

  • 1:17:40

little more if they were even in communication with each other so they didn't have to add some hypothetical

  • 1:17:47

yeah but what I'm saying is like all these groups some of them non-active and g-unit don't necessarily have to be in

  • 1:17:53

communication with each other but if the world wasn't privy to their beefs and their issues and all this [ __ ] then we

  • 1:17:59

would just have maybe that one view like you have of them from their dominant front but because we've been privy to so

  • 1:18:06

much it's been nothing but beef and fights and turmoil we know we won't ever get that show and their run was fairly

  • 1:18:12

short lease in comparison to like never I wish I'm not comparing them to what everyone with shorter and all other

  • 1:18:18

people we got the name right of course I'm telling you was more recognizable world I think around the world they're

  • 1:18:23

still wearing Juna clothing like you guys have the world SKU a load different they only [ __ ] with

  • 1:18:29

certain X is their way for the job towards the world not kid I can't necessarily tank tops

  • 1:18:35

happening still I can't necessarily agree with that like I've been in Europe on tours hip hop tours for months on you

  • 1:18:42

go to you go to certain countries and they know two rappers 50 cent and Tupac a lot of the overseas stuff is more

  • 1:18:51

wu-tang Gang Starr hello to be fun tribe called will never be broke all that [ __ ] overseas is OD and I want

  • 1:19:00

to shout out to uh wu-tang goes on tour right now you know shot here shout out the wu-tang cream Chuck D De La Soul

  • 1:19:08

shout out to them what an amazing what an amazing run you know I was watching that documentary you know like hell I

  • 1:19:14

was thinking about is when I was in the van with all the [ __ ] that someone's yeah you got a lot of balls in this but

  • 1:19:33

it was laughs it was kind of like yo doesn't this whatever man like it wasn't nothing serious but it was I understand what he liked the way he looked at me

  • 1:19:39

like actually it's funny that you mentioned that not to tie this back in

  • 1:19:45

our rolling loud conversation earlier but that conflict of interest exists to

  • 1:19:50

when you're dealing with the Booker's of some of these festivals and they want

  • 1:19:55

you and they want them they don't care about what friction exists they don't

  • 1:20:00

care about what's happened before they don't care about what might happen they're just looking out for their bottom line and we want the two groups

  • 1:20:06

that will be helpful and then you get there and now you got to watch what is backstage you got a move and it's

  • 1:20:12

somebody's job they should have people on these uh on these at these events

  • 1:20:18

that a part of the staff that know okay this artist and this artist have an issue on one issue that's let's have

  • 1:20:24

them in the venue at different times you know me and let's not have them performing so close to each other there's definitely not have their

  • 1:20:31

trailers so close to each other all right or have they man's in the same car yeah like you got it that was my fault

  • 1:20:37

that was my fault but yeah she was just funny though I'm actually glad that God is just doing that that dark man yes

  • 1:20:44

jack is is super underrated in who he is and will tank okay finally like mr. powers even you God talking about his

  • 1:20:50

son getting shot and all that [ __ ] like that sure everything was they touched everyone's individual careers and

  • 1:20:56

personality and upbringing yeah what um what did y'all think about finally really getting into that whole

  • 1:21:03

auctioning off the album and that that whole thing I learned a lot in there uh I kind of suspected what so boy's name

  • 1:21:11

and sorry Michael silver inks when they duped everyone into saying it was his

  • 1:21:16

album or compilation yeah that's some foul [ __ ] yeah the business [ __ ] before with the RZA whole thing I can get to a

  • 1:21:23

degree I can see how that messiness what happened I thought that entire thing was foul that was no but I thought that was

  • 1:21:29

rambling that was one thing that I learned about RZA that I Connor was like

  • 1:21:34

I was Shady that entire I wasn't feeling that but it was dope to see them expresso was this

  • 1:21:40

info so this was but it was dope to see like how mental say y'all thought of

  • 1:21:46

some [ __ ] and like rize's sitting right they they all sit in the movie theater together yeah so it's like you

  • 1:21:51

kind of see rize's reaction to what they saying he didn't really say much he just was kind of looking at a buddy he knew was [ __ ] though yeah but it's like

  • 1:21:56

come on that was [ __ ] up you know I mean like it was I'm sure they had their arguments and could laugh about it now when they had ghost by himself and a

  • 1:22:03

little confession are that [ __ ] one time was trash but I understand I mean I

  • 1:22:10

think it was shady and an artistic level it was trash but the whole thing with

  • 1:22:15

Brazil and my other contracts is I still retain the wu-tang brand the name yes

  • 1:22:21

yes but Johnny good it was Leo recording

  • 1:22:26

these verses thinking I wonder if RZA was knowing that this was gonna be yeah

  • 1:22:35

that's what my problem was he could have stopped it even if you didn't know this was silver rings was doing he was trying

  • 1:22:40

to put together take these verses that they was giving them like whatever whatever and they trying to put it on a two million dollar album right it's like

  • 1:22:46

even if you didn't know you have the powder like you buggin out like you're not doing that right and when he he

  • 1:22:52

obviously he didn't and that's why I kind of looked that was a little funny like I said

  • 1:22:57

that's actually why whales understand why he did it because he was interested

  • 1:23:02

in projecting the wu-tang name more which that project with all his controversy did do okay cool paid homies

  • 1:23:10

I'm part of everything you paid us that's a wu-tang you're pitching this for two million dollars as a wu-tang

  • 1:23:16

album not as a RZA album right that's not going up for 2 million hey don't know where's the album right now

  • 1:23:21

cool yeah I want to do that up paid homies angry oh man I have to watch I have to see what's happening dude hey

  • 1:23:27

Tony says yo yo yo cuz like when he acts deck who got paid he was like exactly like who got paid mmm I know I didn't

  • 1:23:33

mmm yeah that's the question that's a common question we need answers to who got paid someone that hey who someone

  • 1:23:41

has no reason risen we know got me oh I

  • 1:23:47

got it was it yeah we know got paid yeah I'm gonna check the ODB [ __ ] was incredible - yeah heartbreaking also yeah but also just

  • 1:23:56

avid reflect on on ODB do a hip-hop fan a hip hop head hip hop you know just

  • 1:24:04

reason why Mira knows yeah like you just you have to even if you don't if you don't know anything about hip hop start

  • 1:24:10

with that documentary yeah you could start with Wu Tang I was I'm always big on like if when people ask that question how would you introduce someone hip-hop

  • 1:24:16

I usually start with tribe but you could start would say yeah yeah that's fine

  • 1:24:22

you know when [ __ ] is depress on you

  • 1:24:28

[ __ ] is depressed they just find other words that round with D like the present you over some why why you felt like

  • 1:24:35

hitting more wow that's a hey [ __ ] is he talking about over you they

  • 1:24:45

want to know what [ __ ] laugh break up

  • 1:24:55

give [ __ ] [ __ ] up you know not to rewind back to uh rollin loud but I real

  • 1:25:01

will I will for two seconds Josh Jackson forward for the sons was arrested at the

  • 1:25:08

rollin loud festival for trying to access VIP too many times without a pass

  • 1:25:15

I don't know if he was trying to get back there with Kodak black or whatever he was handcuffed police escorted him

  • 1:25:22

away the sons immediately released a report saying that he was being shopped

  • 1:25:27

bring this up to say don't john-john jacks Josh Johnson look

  • 1:25:33

exactly like the guy that would be trying to sneak into VIP without a pass honestly come on let's hold less sneaking any but

  • 1:25:40

let's play profile profile look he looks

  • 1:25:46

exactly like the guy he looks like a swindler who we don't want in VIP who

  • 1:25:52

keeps trying to get in here his Devin Booker with you know you have to turn

  • 1:25:59

around you know the funny [ __ ] is he I think that he had a pass but lost it

  • 1:26:06

and said it was a way you can't move around because they don't keep giving you problems to get back in that you

  • 1:26:11

lost your pass tried to move Earl yeah he kept moving going to get somebody bringing them in going to get somebody

  • 1:26:16

from outside bring in a minute you know you know how that should go guy and it's like you're him you don't even have that NBA [ __ ] we get it right but it's like

  • 1:26:23

fam is a million people here we need wheeler it's [ __ ] four point seven points you can't get in VIP oh yeah no

  • 1:26:32

you trying to sneak anywhere so you can be six eight long ass orbs

  • 1:26:39

you have to go let's keep it on MBA dudes doing stupid [ __ ] porzingis went

  • 1:26:45

to his home town got the brakes beat off him his face was bloody he was outside

  • 1:26:51

acting like he was causing a commotion clearly after the fight so you told

  • 1:26:56

Lafayette was foreplay play I didn't I thing is if you see breeze how did

  • 1:27:04

that's when I saw his face I was like how toes other dude II jump and hit him well joke to parks about being able to

  • 1:27:11

punch up but how do you hit a 7 foot 3 guy in the face um trip over than to hit

  • 1:27:16

him in the face I'm thinking that if you were in a bar you could throw something to stool he bothers legs to look the sturdiest they

  • 1:27:23

don't yeah and you got to remember this is young he's still a young kid like not

  • 1:27:29

a kid a young make up think of you under 25 and you get into a bar brawl that can

  • 1:27:35

take your feet up it's like you're not you not used even though you're athlete you're not used to that like type of like energy of being into like a fight

  • 1:27:42

in the club at 25 that's really you're not really well porzingis is a Hooley patootie yeah he's out and about a lot

  • 1:27:50

he does be in the streets so he probably tried to t try to bag my girlfriend of a

  • 1:27:58

Knicks fan so my giving bow-bow we wasn't here for that we will even [ __ ] with you like that no more and yet more pow pow

  • 1:28:05

it's my kima pow pow with a Budweiser to the face we're donk exhale view then was

  • 1:28:16

Luca Luca was home thought it was [ __ ] up I do hope that our porzingis as well all of these all of these are attacks

  • 1:28:24

that I just keep saying whether it be on the news whether it be on the internet I just hope everybody's okay man and keep

  • 1:28:30

UI ass out the [ __ ] bar if you a maverick yeah Mavericks can't be the

  • 1:28:40

Mavericks contract no what is the

  • 1:28:46

Maverick Moore's me lumion you're definitely not a maverick

  • 1:28:53

it's not a maverick the hard-nosed maverick did you said me isn't maverick

  • 1:29:01

like like uh-uh I look it up for you more you'd have to guess like a cool I got it right now I don't think it's anything cool it is

  • 1:29:07

something cool when it's me it's fine I'll help you guys out constant kings

  • 1:29:14

maverick a lone dissenter as an intellectual and artist or politician who takes an independent stand apart

  • 1:29:20

from his or her associates me thank you zoom in front so why a horse is a little

  • 1:29:26

go let's see here where's my round of applause there it is someone called you

  • 1:29:34

    that the headline pursuing rebellious

  • 1:29:40

even potentially disruptive policies or ideas a motherless calf because I'll

  • 1:29:51

fight you sue because he gave us all the cause I can't breathe you want to give

  • 1:30:03

us the cool to cure you want to give me

  • 1:30:09

seven and unbranded give us all that [ __ ] to car

  • 1:30:21

let's see what else do we have here what else is important what else is important uh uh uh Khalid [ __ ] that we haven't

  • 1:30:29

heard a word about but it's coming this Friday I see people getting hype about this cardi record that we briefly spoke

  • 1:30:35

upon spoke about last week we also spoke about that nipsey record last week but

  • 1:30:40

here we are again talk about it one more time because we haven't heard anything and Friday is almost here with that said

  • 1:30:46

I wanted to ask y'all does this silence build anticipation at all for any of

  • 1:30:51

this [ __ ] for Khalid it does because we're used to him putting out three singles before an album it is loud

  • 1:30:57

yeah and talking about this is the greatest song of all time can I be honest none of that [ __ ]

  • 1:31:03

works for me anymore I don't care about the the tricks the bells and the whistles that comes with a rollout the market in I don't that does nothing for

  • 1:31:09

me say in the end of the day I'm gonna listen to the music and the music is either good or he's not gonna tell you

  • 1:31:14

what it is like I don't care about you know like you know some artists he drop at midnight unexpectedly right and

  • 1:31:20

people like oh [ __ ] it drop this and it's like okay but how does it sound right like I don't care about how it was

  • 1:31:26

given to us how does the product sound and a lot of people you know they they'll do all of these things around

  • 1:31:33

and not so much Khaled but they'll do all these things around their release in the album and instead of third they'll

  • 1:31:38

spend all this money in this [ __ ] but in an album be trash and it's like oh they only care about it because sometimes it

  • 1:31:44

gives me a clue or a hit as to what I can expect or at least I like to think so in my mind so like Alex put al-mal we

  • 1:31:51

ever heard anything calvinism Khaled is a blockbuster act so we're all anticipating this but so when I read him

  • 1:31:59

featuring cardi under these circumstances it frightens me and blank

  • 1:32:06

by the way Khaled times cardi times underscore underscore underscore underscore watch daddy not telling you

  • 1:32:13

who's on out the third is you never know who the third could be J Balvin parks it

  • 1:32:22

might be no J Pufnstuf face new below no

  • 1:32:28

Jason Derulo pop up on my elmo screams losing star thing available boozie boozie it's not okay has he ever been

  • 1:32:42

featured on a Kaela record this is whomped I'll tell you know sold here it is I swear to God if it's a future and

  • 1:32:48

we lose my [ __ ] but what I'm saying is like look if it's a new artist blink-blink like what if it's like

  • 1:32:54

Selena or some people like that whatever it's Beyonce who you blanket out though

  • 1:32:59

exact I've cardi right there yeah well you believe us a new artist called blink blink they could be fired

  • 1:33:06

underscore underscore it's like you started that new started that trend some choice okay what if it's more now your

  • 1:33:12

father yeah she's opening up with me and now you're finally here come on that in the

  • 1:33:19

topics but then when I'm right y'all

  • 1:33:39

want to me I'm right now waiting for blanks new [ __ ] the Khaled featuring cardi featuring blank feature reading it

  • 1:33:47

not hearing any music knowing that car he has been in cardis a megastar now her sound is a bit more

  • 1:33:54

polished especially on the futures you know Cal it tends to go for more of a bigger sounding record especially when

  • 1:34:00

he gets with the mega stars so for me just reading that without hearing

  • 1:34:06

anything I disappoint Smee a little bit but if it's Nikki but she says she don't

  • 1:34:11

want her name next to cardi it's not Nikki oh good but it could be talked to

  • 1:34:18

Kaiser I think I what is Nikki in this ties guys guys guys guys guys it's me

  • 1:34:27

Joe you got you guys awesome I wonder if he's gonna drop this on this cardi

  • 1:34:33

record and this nipsey record at the same time whenever he does decide to drop records on one if he's gonna give

  • 1:34:38

them two welcome home comes from I know but I'm telling my videos visuals just

  • 1:34:43

whatever they put money by maybe you'll do a two-for-one I heard there might be some sort of dock coming with it but I don't know if that's no I think he

  • 1:34:49

announced it I think it's a title duck oh yes oh well now yeah sorry nari already announced okay yeah he's doing a

  • 1:34:56

title duck yeah they'll be documentary on tidal just on the album or like his whole [ __ ] I think it I think it's the gallon

  • 1:35:02

runaround with puffs for a year and you gonna give it the title my father homeboys

  • 1:35:08

friends you know that is not tomato

  • 1:35:33

tomahto by the way me but I see Spotify gig I'm gonna talk about other that's

  • 1:35:40

exciting good good luck [ __ ] podcast

  • 1:35:47

doc 30 confessionals on tour and ain't

  • 1:36:00

seen a [ __ ] frame this true it's true so we gonna tour this weekend we are in Chicago and Detroit I'm pretty excited

  • 1:36:09

about it that Chicago shot and a Detroit show should be should be pretty lit pretty much sky was great mark for us

  • 1:36:14

Detroit is one of my favorite sleeper cities yeah Detroit's man for always loving choices yeah and I think we're hitting Chicago in peak productivity

  • 1:36:31

[Music] popular we peak popularity our product

  • 1:36:47

manager popularity what is our product

  • 1:36:54

it is us Mike I guess is us yeah no that's what Brian thing's gonna learn him what else is here to talk about it

  • 1:37:02

anything else happening do you guys to familiarize yourself with that up making a stallion interview where she was uh

  • 1:37:08

being interviewed by the radio host and that just looks funny anytime new rappers that are kind of popping are at

  • 1:37:15

a radio station that were unfamiliar with like would a do we don't really know on a set we don't really know cool anyway uh dudes

  • 1:37:22

start asking questions about her mom her mom as most of us should know recently passed away shorts extremely touchy

  • 1:37:28

subject and she appeared to handle herself well homeboy came back he apologized said he

  • 1:37:34

researched Fowler's and must have missed that and he would never intentionally be malicious that way oh did y'all see

  • 1:37:41

anything yes I saw so I did about did you care familiar with it like you said

  • 1:37:47

I cared but I can only because we we often say here so many times why do artists continue to go to radio why do

  • 1:37:54

artists do interviews why are we incentivized to do them we have our own platform we don't need to necessarily do

  • 1:38:01

that and then as a new act you know you're sold on the hope you're sold on

  • 1:38:07

your trying to get run of raise awareness attorney good loving the small city I'm sure exactly what [ __ ] oh and I

  • 1:38:15

researched and missed it going on Instagram yeah it's like two thumb Scrolls down if that we're you beautiful

  • 1:38:22

message about her mother on her Instagram oh well it might have been a poor researcher because that's the other thing sometimes these radio leak would have

  • 1:38:28

research they not go into your page they're not going to your Instagram they going to some [ __ ] on Google looking

  • 1:38:34

at the first three things that pop up telling somebody write it on a paper and that's what we're gonna talk about well you're not fit to be on the radio if

  • 1:38:41

you're doing that for one of the most popular new acts that everyone is hanging on every word this woman is

  • 1:38:47

saying you shouldn't be on the radio not feminist Rory stay with you guys listen

  • 1:38:55

man uh and I agree I agree I think she handed it well I'm not I'm not so sure I would have handled it that well but

  • 1:39:01

interview is just need to do a better job of whatever it is that you're doing yeah especially on the subject is touchy

  • 1:39:08

as a parent death yeah that's something you should know about artists rest in

  • 1:39:14

peace or minimal or if you don't know it's totally okay to not bring this up

  • 1:39:19

it's okay to not ask this question what was this exact question oh don't get me started to question and it was something

  • 1:39:26

silly I was a radio II question something like does it feel good I

  • 1:39:32

your mom traveled with you Elijah was bought by your side she's in the studio with you has a feel having having a mom

  • 1:39:37

that's so involved when in your career and it was one of those yeah what are you trying to get me to do sit here and

  • 1:39:43

cry on the radio stations right Jesus yeah I wouldn't want to play like that salute aah mega stallion how she handled

  • 1:39:50

that for sure rest in peace legacy must appease her mother Oh 100% rested be good to see new acts she could really rap yeah the real

  • 1:39:58

deal yeah I've been listening to her meg London lady lund I'm listening to her

  • 1:40:05

all we know a couple joints she put out no like it's a lie every week you gonna give us a lady letter we know she said

  • 1:40:13

it seven punk-ass no I have not uh-huh but it's not as a lot I like the fact that it's a lot of women that are

  • 1:40:18

getting back to lyrics t-ara wack freestyle came out today another one lyrics I like that I like

  • 1:40:28

one when we can really rap it's like the ratchet [ __ ] is cool you know I mean the twerk [ __ ] is cool but it's like let me

  • 1:40:34

hear something like that's gonna like stick to me to you or substance lady yeah hell yeah absolutely

  • 1:40:40

non feminists joke I'm leaving this pocket see what's going on and I don't

  • 1:40:47

like it I mean the [ __ ] out of here what else is here what else what else do we have what else is important besides a

  • 1:40:54

Knicks heartbreak are you Neverland there's more you see seven days seven

  • 1:41:04

days in the draft will actually come the thing about it is the Knicks are in a

  • 1:41:11

you can't get any worse than y'all are it's impossible this is the rebuild this

  • 1:41:18

is expecting a happy night when it comes to third third which is the best pick

  • 1:47:18

that we've got in a long time so RJ Barrett welcome glad laughs you hope you

  • 1:47:23

could do something Opie or as good as they said you were in the beginning in a college season I don't really want to

  • 1:47:29

stay up and watch our pelicans game because I'll be honest with y'all I don't I think New Orleans trades that

  • 1:47:34

picked up I don't think so coz homeboy odd that the GM they brought in on the good one I forgot his name right now but

  • 1:47:40

Griffin Griffin Griffin Griffin was like yeah I know he was trying to trade a B but relax I'm not just doing that well

  • 1:47:52

ATS the same out since the lottery and said he still wants to be traded so so

  • 1:47:57

you think that will happen even though they haven't he doesn't want to be there doulas city whoa I was gonna say well

  • 1:48:03

I'm not focusing on best I cannot wait for word in New Orleans please trade all

  • 1:48:09

podcast go pelicans I do want to get trade it down well you don't know

  • 1:48:16

podcast Kabbalah cable company I think he's got a beat in yeah good

  • 1:48:23

y'all yeah that was a day yesterday that's funny alright so we don't care we don't care

  • 1:48:30

about the I he's not coming New York I don't know if he's not coming in New York man I still be gonna trade that

  • 1:48:35

fish what are the next trading for that pig I would trade that big the next I

  • 1:48:40

would say what are the next trading - that's Orleans - three just to really swap it another three in

  • 1:48:46

some pieces yes I don't think that'll happen because I just don't think Griffin is with all of that but I can see it I think the Knicks in a great

  • 1:48:53

spot period and that's why I wasn't so I wasn't gonna be so invested in the giraffe Zion as a transcendent player

  • 1:48:59

but the Knicks have more cat money than anybody in the league I like some of the young talent I'm not I'm not getting all

  • 1:49:06

caught up in that I don't expect the next to win anything for at least another 10 years doing it the Kawai shot

  • 1:49:16

the kawatche shot so what do y'all rank it is it the best shot you've ever seen in your entire life

  • 1:49:21

nobody's up there it's the most dispensable shot words and B that's some

  • 1:49:32

sick [ __ ] well Simmons kind of chilled out once he didn't get them in the trap yeah I just

  • 1:49:41

don't know why I just don't know why Jimmy Butler wasn't gardening Jimmy

  • 1:49:46

Butler says let's do a pretty good job or let me as far as win that game he was

  • 1:49:51

playing some pretty good defense off he had 40 he was on I just think for that

  • 1:49:58

last play I think you have to put your best on-ball defender on them yeah and Jimmy Butler should have he should have I

  • 1:50:04

don't I don't understand why Jimmy Butler was guarding Carol iris oh so closely I don't care about Larry's my

  • 1:50:11

point I just watch yourself do anything

  • 1:50:18

Jimmy Butler should have been guarding I mean but that was it him it doesn't matter who was God that was just a tough fair shot yeah that was that was cool

  • 1:50:25

that's definitely one of the biggest shots I've seen yeah y'all gonna be mad when we get to Chicago and I bring up the pizza to be

  • 1:50:31

now when the mom is happily no so they just start beating on you like a drum

  • 1:50:37

now I'm just my girl listen I love Chicago pizza I was the guy that said

  • 1:50:43

[ __ ] you parks I was the lone person

  • 1:50:49

here saying guys I love school I love Chicago I just don't like help each

  • 1:50:54

other dish pizza in New York but they

  • 1:50:59

don't have well of course that a regulated slice yeah no way are we not doing this anyone that just goes and gets a slice of deep dish is a

  • 1:51:06

psychopath I don't even think they sell slices though Steve Harvey has been a real 800 Sicilian right isn't that isn't

  • 1:51:13

that what you can get a fin anything on

  • 1:51:19

it they're trying to get us in shape or no forever like when they weren't

  • 1:51:25

like I said Chicago has great deep-dish pizza but regular slice and a wife I'd

  • 1:51:31

love to eat this pizza last week we need to talk about what we're going public that's true we didn't which which only

  • 1:51:36

was the thing because it was kind of tough to get it over for a second when he was doing that old strike thing

  • 1:51:42

before they know I usually live in Hills no New York in New York they would there

  • 1:51:47

with all goober drivers we're going on strike we're not picking out because we're not being paid correctly and y'all

  • 1:51:54

about to go pull the weight X amount of dollars and we don't make [ __ ] so the cab drivers are protesting uber and then

  • 1:52:00

the Travers are over this Iron Horse it

  • 1:52:07

is oh we're protesting MTA we can't go nowhere man you scared

  • 1:52:14

see cyb all just see that Beyonce made like 300 million off over Cohen public Beyonce did yeah she took she did a gig

  • 1:52:21

for them in like 2012 and instead of the Six Million she took stock cuz we're smart that's great so you know like I

  • 1:52:30

would have felt like I felt like they would have been win public yeah yes

  • 1:52:35

they're simply late in their success to go public whatever old uber drivers get

  • 1:52:40

paid who do y'all got in these final zone the Bucks bucks worth how many I have the Bucks winning how many games

  • 1:52:47

you got the Bucks be in Toronto mm-hmm I think about picking Bucks in six buttons

  • 1:52:52

I don't think of Toronto as the outside shooting to beat Milwaukee I don't think Toronto has the the bench

  • 1:53:00

like the the whole players the role players to beat Milwaukee

  • 1:53:05

I don't think Toronto even believes that they can be Milwaukee I think if Kauai didn't carry them

  • 1:53:12

through the last series we would add a whole different outcome I think the Bucks everyone just said is well I think

  • 1:53:18

they're gonna be tomorrow I think the Bucks beat of three ball in the regular season with me they're gonna be trying to I mean know that I mean

  • 1:53:23

while they're gonna beat the Bucks okay I think Hawaii like I said to begin to

  • 1:53:28

play off so we're gonna see exactly how good he's a man yeah he's a man he's and I can't wait to watch him I don't think

  • 1:53:36

George I don't think George Hill has the a great series it like he did against Boston against Toronto I don't think

  • 1:53:42

Kyle Lowry does I don't think Ibaka shows up I really only have faith in

  • 1:53:48

Kauai and other dude whose other display ciancia

  • 1:53:54

have a great series last last series but I do expect them to show up this series

  • 1:54:00

last yeah I like oh I like Toronto on six but I think bucks in seven although

  • 1:54:05

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Toronto in seven I got Milwaukee in six I have Golden State in six Billy Boat

  • 1:54:12

those are my picks the kids for them I got Golden State and five damn I can see y'all respect then I'll respect it

  • 1:54:18

but I just don't think Portland has another you got it got it got it got it

  • 1:54:24

cold states gonna play a good team ball I think Denver would have been a tough a matchup for Golden State yeah I'm jumping all this Milwaukee be

  • 1:54:35

honest is tough man I just don't I think that in the Conference Finals ooh yeah

  • 1:54:40

but I don't think a lot of those like George Hill played amazing against Boston I would know at the start point

  • 1:54:47

guard at one point know he can play but I just don't think it's gonna translate into this series and I think ciacco I

  • 1:54:54

think Kawhi think I think Lowry having a good series

  • 1:54:59

against um eric bledsoe eric lesser looked like Michael Jordan

  • 1:55:06

last series oh yeah hopefully they can put a stop to that one yeah but these

  • 1:55:11

are the matchups I wanted to see yeah Batman's in the West I would have rather swords in the east

  • 1:55:16

I would rather seen Dan Flavin build a Portland but I wanted to watch Denver and going today yeah I like to joke a

  • 1:55:22

man I like him too he's good he's tough and they're gonna be something to watch for a long time yes I worry right now

  • 1:55:28

and I was watching that that Denver game I just opened my phone and one of those

  • 1:55:34

sports guys decided to tweet that the Knicks picked clean Anthony early 70s

  • 1:55:40

before all the Joker was picked I'm not

  • 1:55:47

gonna say because I don't want to do it but we gonna do segments that's funny I

  • 1:55:54

want to say for sure we have that the I

  • 1:56:14

just wanna make quick mention that Steve Harvey is being relinquished of his duties relief he's being relieved of his

  • 1:56:23

so he's being fired well that's what I thought nice way to I thought they were letting him go from his MBC show and

  • 1:56:31

they had the white lady filling right but then I saw that he was being relieved of like quite a few shows so it

  • 1:56:38

was a bunch which said to me oh he must have pissed somebody off somewhere because they're not just getting rid of

  • 1:56:43

his show they're getting would have cried out quite a few shows and I'm waiting to see if they're gonna remove

  • 1:56:48

him from family feud yeah because that'll be that'll be kind of crazy and

  • 1:56:55

I watched this as a content creator steve is one of those guys I made a lot of money had a lot of success so I pay

  • 1:57:01

attention to it boy get him that I would that's held every summer no I would

  • 1:57:07

think health reasons or like a scandal that part you would think scandal right

  • 1:57:12

yeah I mean it just sounds funny yeah just sounds funny something to keep our

  • 1:57:18

eye on ah what else what else is happening out there that we need to keep an eye on for a few weeks now one to

  • 1:57:27

come in here and speak to you guys about a plethora of things related to data

  • 1:57:33

gate that would be this Apple lawsuit that's going on about them being sued

  • 1:57:39

last week I wanted to talk to you about a video that was circulating about Facebook's co-founder saying that

  • 1:57:45

Facebook needs to be broken up did y'all watch the video did y'all see that video you know I read a couple articles about

  • 1:57:52

it um what else what else what else Disney purchasing Hulu is in which yeah

  • 1:58:01

yeah laughed at me however many weeks months years ago was when Disney was

  • 1:58:06

announced in that Oh streaming [ __ ] I said they're gonna have to knock someone out or by someone but they already owned

  • 1:58:12

a part of Lou there's no way they were gonna get in the streaming game and not be owning someone that was not Netflix

  • 1:58:19

or Hulu right no but I think they'd be out the room no but I think they think even back then they said they was gonna

  • 1:58:25

purchase one that uh not when they announced the streaming [ __ ] I thought

  • 1:58:31

that was the plan because I said I'm gonna commit they're not gonna compete Disney's not competing know by what

  • 1:58:44

matters none is she that the [ __ ] is all related to me I kind of I kind of been at UH we've been on we can talk about

  • 1:58:51

this Disney [ __ ] for a while just when they started pulling this [ __ ] from all over the place but now that they have purchased Hulu I call that a monopoly it

  • 1:59:01

seems like uh I call that a monopoly it seems like and monopoly is an important

  • 1:59:08

word because monopoly is the word that Spotify users when they talk about what

  • 1:59:14

Apple has been trying to do with them in terms of you know their services there's the store the the updating sister

  • 1:59:21

everything all services that apple offers Apple has said I mean Spotify said that they are

  • 1:59:27

trying to monopolize things and make business harder and make make for a world where there are no competitors and

  • 1:59:32

a while ago I said to parks is that an argument like I was confused I didn't

  • 1:59:40

know that you having a super successful business and then using it to your advantage to kill the competitors was

  • 1:59:46

like a thing but then I saw the Apple lawsuit where somebody where Apple is

  • 1:59:54

accusing someone else of the very same thing hmm and I'm not kind of I'm pulling all these articles up we'll

  • 2:00:00

probably do we do it Saturday I do want to get into this because I do believe it to be important I was going somewhere

  • 2:00:09

with this oh I was gonna ask y'all if y'all saw if y'all saw to tie into this

  • 2:00:14

a little bit that that twitter twitter bug report that was going around no all

  • 2:00:21

right so let me read it to you because I have one here and all it is this is such a deeper darker criminal link but it's

  • 2:00:28

the end of the podcast we won't get into it now Twitter sent this out to a few people that it impacted it looks like this this

  • 2:00:35

yes it reads as a bug impacting your privacy is what it says we're reaching

  • 2:00:41

out to tell you about a recent issue that we have resolved where we inadvertently collected some iOS

  • 2:00:46

location data we then shared this inadvertently collected location data in

  • 2:00:52

a form that had been fudged so that it was no more precise than a 5 km area

  • 2:00:59

with one of our partners as part of an advertising process known as real-time

  • 2:01:04

bidding we've confirmed with our partner that the location data has not been

  • 2:01:10

retained that it is it only existed in their systems for a short time and was

  • 2:01:16

then deleted as part of their normal process we did not share things like your Twitter handle or other unique

  • 2:01:21

account IDs and we've taken steps to ensure it can't happen again that is a

  • 2:01:28

so they got a [ __ ] message that what they did was they just got a peek at the

  • 2:01:35

play didn't called the time out all of these all of all of these companies are selling our data

  • 2:01:43

without our knowledge yeah and that's what the Facebook co-founder dude that's what his point

  • 2:01:48

was in the video his point was Facebook has become a monopoly and you cannot

  • 2:01:55

allow a monopoly to have so much power especially when they're retaining all of

  • 2:02:01

your information sometimes without you even knowing about it right because when you have one company become one company

  • 2:02:07

become so powerful there is no way for you to trust that your information is

  • 2:02:13

kept sacred right so what he was suggesting was that Facebook be broken

  • 2:02:19

up he was suggesting that the government get involved which they are involved because they thought trying to figure

  • 2:02:24

out the monopoly as well and happened life or want that information yeah 100% right so he suggested that the

  • 2:02:31

government get involved and read Facebook of Instagram and whatsapp yeah

  • 2:02:38

it's it's very loose if I break up to the major Holdings outside of Facebook itself so that they have competition

  • 2:02:45

right nothing seems fair you asked it

  • 2:02:51

yeah oh yes enough it's creepy

  • 2:02:57

I'm creeped I'm not scared creeped up but I don't try to put too much

  • 2:03:03

information on the Internet personally especially you like location check in the hog you down yeah yeah go eat clear

  • 2:03:11

skip the line no they got your eyes already how Dania finger prints whatever you

  • 2:03:16

look at your phone I'm getting arrested they got my fingerprints for sure well they got your eyes from UFO just by

  • 2:03:22

looking at my phone yeah I don't like the what you talking to me right put

  • 2:03:27

that out there so like your energy right now the way you do this message from

  • 2:03:41

Twitter all of these places that just have our information I don't know I

  • 2:03:47

don't know it's just scary to wonder is happening with it that's gonna lead

  • 2:03:52

me into a streaming rant that we don't have time for right now but like I was telling you parks I think I'm close to

  • 2:03:58

cracking this thing okay rich Esther dear - min - many years I've come on here and said what is a stream worth

  • 2:04:04

they're not really telling us because it's worth so much right I think I think the exact opposite today you think it's

  • 2:04:12

not worth much I don't think it's worth for anything at all that's not true definitely not true not worth anything

  • 2:04:19

tell me it's probably worse it's probably worth less than what you thought it was tell me more um I think

  • 2:04:25

the data that they get from the streams is what the value is the stream itself is maybe worth nothing but you just said

  • 2:04:32

the same exact thing I said no I said you did you said the stream is the

  • 2:04:38

shooting yeah I started this with I think a stream is worth nothing okay and

  • 2:04:43

you disagreed I do disagree because the data you don't disagree we're saying the

  • 2:04:48

same thing okay yeah just in different ways what if the stream is solely put

  • 2:04:54

there for this confusion what if this dream is put there so basically this

  • 2:05:01

room is just music ah yes just as a deterrent got you just as something to

  • 2:05:08

get people to focus on so you're not actually aware of what's happening yeah

  • 2:05:15

yeah it's a distraction of to break up all this a miniscule part of the pie of

  • 2:05:21

the people that are bringing your consumer to where they're giving their data so telling us that the stream is

  • 2:05:28

everything so is hot naked girls on Instagram what the same it's the same pic you know I'm saying like the the

  • 2:05:35

free posting of hot chicks on Instagram is just a way for them to mine data mmm

  • 2:05:41

it's the same gate of free posting like a chicken put up a picture of her in a bikini on Instagram for free and we can

  • 2:05:48

all follow her and like it that's the same thing as a stream essentially yeah

  • 2:05:55

ya know the way that say what report is is just what the artist is by putting

  • 2:06:01

their single up there right it's the same way a chick with ten million followers putting herself half-naked up

  • 2:06:07

there Wow you maybe bring in different consumers you're still bringing in consumers that have data that you can then take right so it's just a different

  • 2:06:14

type of product that you're giving right that's all it is you know I get it yeah

  • 2:06:20

the stream is the stream is the same way Walmart pays the greeter in the front that waves like no the stream is the

  • 2:06:27

same way this was trying to tell Joe a long time ago the stream is a lost leader it's the same way walmart sells

  • 2:06:34

microwaves for $20 even though they probably cost them more than $20 because

  • 2:06:39

it just brings people in because they can get a microwave for $20 and now you're in the store and you're gonna buy some other [ __ ] it has a higher profit

  • 2:06:44

margin mm-hmm it's a loss leader yeah then it can be a loss leader in music I don't think that's trying to make sense

  • 2:06:50

period is a loss leader oh definitely is I think certain artists are how is

  • 2:06:55

streaming a loss leave for Netflix for Netflix it's not aa no I think maybe you

  • 2:07:01

you may overpay for a niche audience that you don't have already where you may lose some money would say you want

  • 2:07:07

to produce a special for a million dollars that's not worth a million dollars but we're getting a whole niche category of people that we don't usually

  • 2:07:14

have and they may stay and check out the rest of Netflix and click some other things because they may have but there's no judging judging by our data that's

  • 2:07:22

people from streaming to streaming it's streaming yeah but it's the same way you're bringing someone into a Walmart

  • 2:07:27

they might they're getting a microwave but they're also in Walmart yeah you're not making money off your special break

  • 2:07:32

you're making money off getting subscribed and judging by data I know this small group will definitely come to

  • 2:07:38

Netflix for this but I with my data I know they also like this category they also like this category and now they're

  • 2:07:44

here all right I'm rolling with you I'm rolling with you so let's say all those streaming is lost leader and I don't know that I don't think all of it is but

  • 2:07:50

you know any successful business has lost leaders yeah because what can one what cuz what kind of artists do with

  • 2:07:55

their streams what do you mean I'm already XYZ sure I have 100 million

  • 2:08:03

streams uh-huh what can I do with it collect your a little bit of money yeah

  • 2:08:09

collect your $25 go buy a whopper in a soda the deuce uh well yeah you're not privy

  • 2:08:16

however their own information of the help however whoever centralizes the the

  • 2:08:22

audience and the consumer with whoever is providing the product right what can

  • 2:08:28

they do with it uh well if you're if you're a major if you're on a major label who has partnerships with these

  • 2:08:33

streaming things you get analytics you'll know exactly where the tour you'll know exactly where your strongest markets are you'll know what type of age

  • 2:08:40

group you should be going towards but that's really only works if you're on a major that has a partnership that will

  • 2:08:45

give you the antimatter that's the gap because none of that the true value is not in any that [ __ ] when you start

  • 2:08:51

talking about a stream and the value chain and all of the things that can be just attached to it and that's kind of

  • 2:08:57

my be from starts on my rolling loud or just some of the bottom feeder [ __ ] yeah you want the artist to now go out and

  • 2:09:02

just get his however he gets his but how how are the people that are getting it

  • 2:09:08

get into it with a stream the same stream what I can do with a stream what

  • 2:09:13

the label can do the stream is not the same thing correct who will do business

  • 2:09:19

with me with a stream and who will do business with Spotify with a stream Apple take anybody from Fang and just

  • 2:09:26

put them there we as individuals don't necessarily have that that that same

  • 2:09:31

leverage that we don't we don't get that at all and that's why podcasting is such a unique place because some of those

  • 2:09:37

parameters and some of those boundaries that exist and that they're trying to implement which stream they just don't

  • 2:09:43

exist here yet there are no rules here yet you can't tell us what this is worth

  • 2:09:50

you can't tell us what a stream is worth it X amount of [ __ ] million and have a

  • 2:09:55

million whatever I'm saying listen to this podcast a week if we're in record terms we go gold twice a week right yeah

  • 2:10:05

more how are you to quantify how are you to actually quantify it and I'm having

  • 2:10:10

this conversation uh the stickler here is I'm of the belief that advertising is

  • 2:10:15

running the entire country the entire the entire country all of you come from

  • 2:10:22

marketing stuff yeah that's not far-fetched at all everything comes down to vert izing which is why we have all

  • 2:10:28

these data conversations because that's who's buying the data so if every China advertised so if everything comes down

  • 2:10:34

to advertising and I'm of the belief that music today is nothing more than an

  • 2:10:40

audience builder for you to find something else to do yeah yeah then

  • 2:10:46

except for the record what is the worth to us to us what is a stream worth are

  • 2:10:55

you saying us as in an artist or us as creators the artists the creators and the artists and the people that are

  • 2:11:02

creating things to be streamed it's really only worth whatever the

  • 2:11:08

centralized place is gonna either a tell us it's worth or give us for it because outside but they're also created on the

  • 2:11:14

fly hmm they're also well not let me not say on the fly but they started out they created that so the people that you're

  • 2:11:21

putting your music going forward they created what a stream was worth there was no law which talks long to me what you're saying so again let's say the

  • 2:11:28

Spotify app music whatever they there wasn't a formula they created it like we

  • 2:11:34

used to know a CD cost $10 it cost us $4 to make let's sell it for $10 there's

  • 2:11:40

that profit margin right we don't know what the formula was to create what the

  • 2:11:45

stream was worth so the power isn't in the creatives hand and that degree it's whoever created this this platform maybe

  • 2:11:51

it's a makeup what it's worth well that's what the fight is that's what the fight that they're having now is you're

  • 2:11:58

absolutely right and what you're saying Apple Spotify whoever they created it the music the labels and the execs they

  • 2:12:06

never forced could have foreseen that the way that everybody consumed music

  • 2:12:11

today would be digitally well it could have if they listened to certain people

  • 2:12:16

no if we all just sort of Prince the world beautifully Chuck DS another one but I'm just saying that's why this [ __ ]

  • 2:12:23

is all in erm angle to me we know we know about the existing light between the DSPs and the music labels right we

  • 2:12:32

know there are only three music labels and we know they're fighting over ownership there's that there's that word

  • 2:12:39

again we music this is how it's it's consumed you can put it on your platform but we are old 70 percent of the profit so now you

  • 2:12:47

got Apple Spotify whoever whoever else trying to figure out how to make things

  • 2:12:53

profitable under these new terms yep but also those terms are just being created

  • 2:13:01

it's not cut by the way it used to be scary part about it is you can't create

  • 2:13:08

them without us a lot of those companies this one included Spotify have not

  • 2:13:13

really turned a big profit for a long time like they're still building it's it's essentially a loss leader you know

  • 2:13:20

what I mean like they're building their [ __ ] they're losing money for a long period of time in order to build

  • 2:13:25

something that is profitable oh yeah because what they say two years ago Netflix was in how many million dollars

  • 2:13:31

a day right like it was still exploding you know by other point you know yeah but I'm still on Netflix I'm not making

  • 2:13:37

money never gonna get day money oh they're data and listen I don't think

  • 2:13:44

that any any great business or business plan I don't think [ __ ] go into it

  • 2:13:50

expecting to return a profit in year 1 2 3 or 4 like you know you can't know you

  • 2:13:55

know what that person thinks like a long game you plan 10 years from now so if

  • 2:14:01

you know all of this and we've been talking and chung-yong if you know yes if you know you're gonna play the long

  • 2:14:06

game if you know that advertising runs the world if you know that those boundaries and parameters that exist in

  • 2:14:13

music do not exist in podcast world I was telling Brandon it's last night if you're a podcaster and you truly

  • 2:14:19

understand the landscape and what's going on and your power that now wouldn't be the time stop you fit you

  • 2:14:25

you would feel like you can change the world because the rules are happening now yeah and they can't tell you anything I

  • 2:14:33

know I just brought up cuz it was Gary and I have a whole bunch of articles here but the articles are full of

  • 2:14:39

information so I don't want to read that at the end of our podcast I do think we should touch on this some more because

  • 2:14:45

there's information this this data gate information war is not going to cease I

  • 2:14:50

assume ago only get more complicated and I'm still to figure out exactly what I has to be

  • 2:14:56

deeper than advertising I'm just gonna obsess over this in the house as I paced back and forth looking out the window

  • 2:15:02

because it just has to more of course it is because that way which is why the government was so upset with Facebook we

  • 2:15:09

want a part of that that's where it really ends up if we want to get in our super conspiracy bag and ends up with

  • 2:15:14

controlling an entire group of people I'll keep the whole country a lot of those movies that's the better way to

  • 2:15:20

control them if you don't know every last bit about every single person walking on earth yeah that a lot of

  • 2:15:27

those movies that we watched when they had people like in zones and areas like I think a lot of that has to do with

  • 2:15:33

them collecting data 1384 mm-hmm all right they're gonna start putting people

  • 2:15:38

here okay this is the stuff your lifestyle you're into things you buy okay you yes that you stream the stream

  • 2:15:45

is confusing us it's us and that's why they have these stream farms to just

  • 2:15:51

duplicate and act like there's a person there it's not the stream that's important it's the person right so

  • 2:15:59

behaviors different yeah I'm joking what I'm serious we would have just stuck to

  • 2:16:05

cash everything we have on differ yeah every last thing on earth would be

  • 2:16:10

different if we would have stuck to cash but that goes back to the banks which I still think controls everything on earth

  • 2:16:17

so it's the banks man the banks go back to streaming yes we should have smoked

  • 2:16:22

some weed before we did this but the banks gold the banks go back to streaming streaming goes back to all the

  • 2:16:27

artists being arrested at rolling loud noises in there

  • 2:16:34

    [Laughter]

  • 2:16:41

all right [ __ ] man let's get out of here listen let's play some sleepers let me go home and cry about [ __ ] Zion

  • 2:16:47

going into pelicans then VAP deal is so much [ __ ] come on out of silver all

  • 2:16:53

right let's see sleeper time today's Wednesday let me tell anybody out there with a kid

  • 2:16:59

man when your kid turns 18 and they get into that hole I got a license I need a car thing it is the most annoying part

  • 2:17:06

of parenting in the world my kid has called me 30 times a day for the past two weeks just inquiring about vehicles

  • 2:17:12

like vehicles as an 18 year old like a fresh 18 year old hey pop there's this

  • 2:17:18

97 out II with two hundred thousand miles that I can get for $700 it's too many miles bro but they don't know I had

  • 2:17:26

already do with two hundred thousand I'm still good with these kid they don't know anything about it's alright you see a car you feel like you can afford it

  • 2:17:32

great and they calls me back pop but the insurance I've never had it they're charging me X amount of fam get the [ __ ]

  • 2:17:39

off of my phone damn train sighs listen I'm not putting no eighteen-year-old

  • 2:17:45

driver under my insurance you know I ain't even got insurance I'm a momager [Laughter]

  • 2:17:50

is ready to crash I remember being 16 17 let me get my license at 29 now I think

  • 2:17:58

we need to race that [ __ ] you should not be 16 year old behind the wheel of a [ __ ] vehicle yeah you shouldn't and

  • 2:18:05

you shouldn't be over 75 behind the wheel that's ageism but I'm with you I'm a

  • 2:18:12

    just 75 you should be getting chauffeured [ __ ] y'all y'all should be

  • 2:18:25

driving see ya shout-out to my kid man super proud of him promise coming up

  • 2:18:30

graduation is coming you [ __ ] got a license you're not getting my car I don't know how you're moving around out

  • 2:18:36

there but super proud of my kid Ernie wraps a little bit too this is good got a little girlfriend see life is late

  • 2:18:44

    more seven days [Music]

  • 2:19:02

my fracture knows this remail yeah what was Craig David Craig David Mazda

  • 2:19:10

seven-day remix remix my fresh knows how you not know seven days I don't know any

  • 2:19:16

era alright let's get the [ __ ] out here man

  • 2:19:22

enough is enough Alabama Senate passes a bill outlawing abortion in most cases abortion in most

  • 2:19:29

cases including rape and incest ah that's beautiful that's beautiful how was that beautiful

  • 2:19:35

I think you misheard that they outlawed or outlaw who did most cases Alabama

  • 2:19:43

Senate passed can I say that I think that the federal law is gonna put a stop to some of this [ __ ] Robby ray that

  • 2:19:49

Atlantis [ __ ] they talk about where you're trying to have control over women's bodies I just don't see that sticking this [ __ ] that you sitting here

  • 2:19:56

talking about we'll see cuz this is the the Conservatives got the Supreme Court now guys that's the scary part of so

  • 2:20:03

many men think that they can make decisions about what a woman does with our body I just understand it and that

  • 2:20:08

that law femme as you know mess man you get you get caught up in that situation

  • 2:20:14

putting that pressure on on people to decide whether they want a baby or don't

  • 2:20:20

want a baby in that short window of time where most people don't even know if they are pregnant to say no to [ __ ]

  • 2:20:27

knows that they are pregnant before six weeks like sometimes yeah I don't get it

  • 2:20:34

either I don't get it either San Francisco one of the places that I I give a lot of credit to just for being

  • 2:20:40

tech-savvy they passed a bill today I want to say that our bans the police

  • 2:20:46

from using the facial technology to find people good that's good

  • 2:20:53

they cited you don't want to trust people with that type of power you could

  • 2:20:59

abuse it the same monopoly [ __ ] we can't trust people with our information type of [ __ ] is what's going

  • 2:21:05

on so I said loot San Francisco for being ahead of the curve always on so

  • 2:21:11

much important tech [ __ ] love the Bay Hill police should not be using our facial recognition yeah love to be

  • 2:21:18

neither should snapchat but whatever that's a topic for another time whereas Rhapsody just dropped our first [ __ ] our

  • 2:21:25

have a love when they just do things at the end of our podcast drop not just a

  • 2:21:33

song okay Felicia featuring buddy I'm looking for nobodies great I just saw a tweet from a

  • 2:21:40

  • 2:21:47

  • 2:21:54

[ __ ] coming I bet he does about Terrence Martin's working on that thing to listen

  • 2:21:59

we gonna hear a lot from people who got [ __ ] coming down at cameras albums out the way yeah that's what I think for me

  • 2:22:12
