good I feel real good don't try the flex we was trying to figure out what you did this weekend uh try to figure out mall dude [ __ ] and somehow he deflected it

  • 3:17

to me I knew my G oh my life is boring there until it's not and when isn't that

  • 3:25

boring boy am I not dr1 it's to life but even that we think is fun is not to eat

  • 3:33

at saddle ranch four times in the Mondrian four other times I didn't leave the same area at all that's swag no just

  • 3:40

controlling your own schedule like staying in that tight clothes bar that close with a radius dangerous how you

  • 3:46

met now I feel you I feel your sunset is dangerous and I'm the only weird New

  • 3:52

Yorker that walks up and down Sunset well people drive by I do it so - [ __ ] is wrong with this guy Rory's nickname in LA would be sunset in

  • 4:08

LA you could be sunset yeah a little swag in LA yeah I see why people in LA don't

  • 4:13

walk don't say go and kick them down sure

  • 4:19

that's what is that what do they want I see why people in LA don't walk though well it's not really a walk it's not

  • 4:25

built for that yeah it's like if I need to go to this store right across the street from where I'm standing highway walls like ten blocks down to the

  • 4:32

nearest crosswalk to the street like I'm not doing that yeah that's crazy would you be up in the hills anyway so right

  • 4:39

I do but given us a motivation yeah different look different different outlets that leaves me to one of my

  • 4:45

all-time classic stories that I'll never share about just having a contact context clue your way to finding out

  • 4:51

you're dating an escort you had to content oh yeah I remember that I went

  • 4:57

to work you uncover the case I got to it

  • 5:04

way too much CSI oh please not apply that to real life what I never but he

  • 5:09

was right he solved the case okay

  • 5:15

there was no way around telling you for da [ __ ] to Joe her lawyer I did confide

  • 5:20

in you right yo yeah I remember exactly when this and Johnny I confided in Rory and Johnny I even tried to like support

  • 5:30

when you found a few clues and I was like nah man you know she might just be working like you know she could have

  • 5:41

business in Houston I don't know yeah on a more mature podcast this conversation

  • 5:46

would lead me into out when you Truelove the money you don't care about it [ __ ]

  • 5:54

this conversation would leave me - okay I'm not speaking about ever desperately in that room this would never lead to

  • 6:02

you not caring about a girl be an escort no that's not what I'm saying oh I agree with you that's not what I'm saying you said your girl being escort no I

  • 6:09

said when you truly love someone it'll make you disregard who they have slept with even if they're an escort

  • 6:16

    know

  • 6:22

in a more mature room I would segue from this to that and y'all okay no no no I

  • 6:29

don't know how much but you can never get to she was an escort but I don't care you know an active one no no yeah

  • 6:37

yeah no we're not doing it and we're not starting here I'll save all you feels good I told I told these dudes before

  • 6:44

the podcast started that sooner or later I'm gonna divide this end of the year coming up so I'll tell you you gentlemen

  • 6:49

I would like us I say this every year y'all and we never do it because we're just lazy pieces of [ __ ] but the same

  • 6:55

way they do the awards at the end of the year and basketball I would like us to

  • 7:00

do that in music so I would like us to see who the best new Act is us figure it out are on our list not like the little

  • 7:06

billboard [ __ ] we follow this most grannies are so reliable no you're right I wants to go see stuff see what do us a

  • 7:13

Most Improved okay I like it like [ __ ] like that but I don't want to

  • 7:19

blurt that out like we'll think of some come up with yeah let's pick some [ __ ] oh good I don't want to start there either

  • 7:25

Oh she'll talk Spotify listenership our YouTube viewer ship shoutouts our first

  • 7:30

and last time listeners I would like to dedicate this episode to all of the

  • 7:35

podcasters I probably have done that before but over the weekend I had like a proud moment of just recognizing what

  • 7:44

the landscape looks like in 2020 the word landscape should die but until then [ __ ] along with the

  • 7:53

climate I was looking at the current climate of the landscape the terrain if

  • 7:58

you will a lot of podcasts in their peak principality like what we want to play

  • 8:03

precipices nuts Rory's turn principality oh yeah peak principality all right no

  • 8:10

man that's your word something I'm not alike not alike it what I just told you

  • 8:17

    put I did but I'll get another one [ __ ]

  • 8:40

sunset oh I want to hear is verse now good one

  • 8:46

sunset sunset sunset Oh lovely set it on someone before the

  • 8:53

Sun go around broad daylight was fun say

  • 8:59

you never know when sunset might set it on stop telling you and if it's daylight

  • 9:06

savings pushes top back like the clock

  • 9:13

    [Laughter]

  • 9:20

and don't let me get the features in daylight play right I might be safe with some daylight oh you know sunset gonna freak

  • 9:28

it with that he's called Sun for sure

  • 9:33

    [Music]

  • 9:41

cuz I shine like one order in the pond

  • 9:51

ordering apart hi uh what was that what is it starting with was I just saying oh all you

  • 9:57

podcasters man I was looking around and this it's a lot of y'all and we don't

  • 10:02

often celebrate each other because we're everyone feels like everyone is their

  • 10:07

own like they're everybody's competition I don't feel that way like I supported a lot of y'all I just know my platform is

  • 10:13

huge and you [ __ ] got to pay me to promote y'all but today Black Friday

  • 10:18

today no I'm just I'm just saying because we've been engulfed in it for so many years we talk behind the scenes we

  • 10:25

don't you're so busy working that you very really take time to acknowledge the

  • 10:32

work that's being done not just by you but by your peers as well so while we

  • 10:38

are here yeah it felt good to see Starr brim DC McFly who else everybody has a

  • 10:45

podcast so I mean it don't really matter but it's a lot of them and it's still

  • 10:51

earlier yeah that feels good there's a couple that are doing real well it feels good to know that you are

  • 10:56

going to to your respective field and the glass ceiling is pretty high the

  • 11:04

trajectory of it that is a good feeling a feeling of hope in the workplace so

  • 11:09

that made me feel good over the weekend so I wanted to shout out all of the podcasters cuz you'll never get it again

  • 11:15

from me well unless you pay save on 300 others right then you're done you need it for save on Green Man vol 2 so [ __ ]

  • 11:25

it alright gentlemen would you like to start we'll start early 16 minutes in I made a

  • 11:30

sauce today what's good what we doing alright more was that a camp ball with Anna's car test cars you were you did

  • 11:39

you did you did the car test with Elliott you got your car test outfit on

  • 11:46

when around ain't gotta albumin nothing that's how ill mole is right right just maxing and relaxing why are you looking

  • 11:53

so good man good is an outfit color coordination that's what I mean Letta accents yeah man game this when

  • 12:01

you give them up when you give them someone our manhood II right yeah I seen a chick on my flight had a st. John's uh

  • 12:07

who do you know sitting there like fast I don't even got that yet you put words on the arm of the hoodie then you saying

  • 12:13

something right come on 17 minutes in

  • 12:21

we're still early let's go all right good I told you how to do a start I like to start better can't flog nah yeah the

  • 12:28

[ __ ] is that first of all shut up okay Hey all right now I do know what it is I'm joking around one of the biggest

  • 12:35

festivals camp vlog nor took place real nice lineup a whole bunch of names I

  • 12:40

won't get into oh [ __ ] look on under Kevin Willis man someone Walker yeah night club internacional real good

  • 12:46

gold links to launch yg Bronk Hampton tired of creator juice world her dance these guys oiler look at most work when

  • 12:55

most def is the small text that's crazy then Billy done successfully yeah you've got that you've got quite the lineup

  • 13:01

here so congratulations to Tyler for throwing yet again an amazing event now of the the performance that seemed to

  • 13:08

shake everything was when apparently really stirred up when apparently the

  • 13:14

boy went out there surprise guest was the question works he was yes and what a

  • 13:20

question mark right Wow yeah I got the biggest artists in the entire world all right so now this podcast has come to a

  • 13:26

disagreement there I didn't know that we had but that's why I love us cuz it's just a bunch of different takes and

  • 13:32

malls take is interesting to me here Drake appeared to be booed right right

  • 13:40

certain area I don't think I won't say the majority of the crowd was bullying him but he heard enough to alter his set

  • 13:47

and cut it short yeah and gracefully exit stage left mmm sure professional yes to which the

  • 13:56

internet went ablaze I didn't think it was that big of a deal

  • 14:02

I well well why don't you think cuz you said that to Julian I didn't think it was that big of a deal anymore uh cuz I

  • 14:10

know that crowd to some degree and I could see that crowd booing a Drake no

  • 14:16

you can't see that crowd any crowd is your fan crowd is a different type of

  • 14:22

chrome that we know but what I'm saying you know that then but but still I don't

  • 14:27

I wouldn't think that arguably the biggest artists in music would get booed off of any stage i watch honestly

  • 14:35

because he's the biggest artist in music arguably yeah but still if you find a corner in the world that he necessarily

  • 14:42

in the corner corner of the world at nice property but the people with the

  • 14:48

people that consume it yeah but I know this specific crowd mm-hmm I could see I

  • 14:55

could oh wait and even deeper than that didn't Drake have like a seemingly underlying tension with somebody in this

  • 15:03

crew was it Frank and one point I'm like making things up you know don't I depend

  • 15:09

of rumored Frank thing a long time ago or even him and Tyler I don't know am i freestyling my memory is bad but I don't

  • 15:15

know I don't recall I think Tyler's probably said something about every artist in early in his career that may have rubbed

  • 15:21

someone the wrong way I'm sure I don't think it's that serious well even if we

  • 15:27

wait and wait a whole are going to rub me please because we would need to fact check that I'm not gonna put [ __ ] in

  • 15:33

the air does not exist but hypothetically if that occurred and it thank you I knew I wasn't crazy him I

  • 15:41

knew I was not crazy it was a bar yeah but that's kind of my point here and

  • 15:47

let's commend these two these two grown adult men for behaving like grown adult

  • 15:53

men and squashing and moving forward and reconciling whatever the [ __ ] happened who knows I won't speak on it but this

  • 15:59

has been a topic this year in hip-hop really specifically amongst female rat MCS but the fans carrying on a certain

  • 16:06

disdain for an artist yes that's that's what my thing is well yeah but no I

  • 16:11

don't think what this has to do with I think I think this was just an isolated group that just decided they wanted to see they

  • 16:18

thought that the question mark was Frank Ocean that's what I thought the surprise performer would be apparently there was

  • 16:24

a lot of [ __ ] ready in the Internet in general that suggested that he was going

  • 16:29

to be the one yeah I'm sure that crowd and those sources also part of the crew

  • 16:36

yeah the part of the camp right so when it wasn't Frank they were disappointed there is a Frank hi oh there he is

  • 16:43

figurative and I'd say it was within a few tribes wait has the culture can't

  • 16:48

come up with a word for when things are bigger than the hive because hive is like the biggest Oh like it's be I've

  • 16:54

it's the Navy like you don't get a hive if you're not yeah deep yeah Frank's

  • 17:00

hive is deep there's a lot of them mmm so more we just named three reasons why you could paint a scenario very rare but

  • 17:09

still it's a scenario in which the biggest artists in the world can get booed from a stage yeah but I

  • 17:15

don't think Oh have we ever seen that before let me think I would have to I can't

  • 17:21

answer that off I mean festivals are kind of their highest you know we haven't seen this this influx of

  • 17:26

festivals where it's so many different groups of people in the same place for specific artists I was gonna say to you

  • 17:34

know maybe the answer's no no no because Allah because a lot of times especially with hip-hop where hip-hop wasn't like

  • 17:41

fully in the festival world the way it is now you were go people were going to show us four artists they wanted to see

  • 17:46

so yeah yeah you're gonna see them boo unless the artist was awful show and in

  • 17:53

this specific case you know this is a one of those things that change with the times because today Tyler can just hit

  • 18:03

Drake and say yo can you come through and do me a solid and perform and Drake is gonna come you have these

  • 18:09

multi-million dollar brands that are just gonna drop everything and show up because one of their peers asked them to

  • 18:14

do it mm-hmm I can't I don't know about when that might have started in in

  • 18:20

hip-hop to where we would have gotten a chance to see I guess yeah every big artist in the world

  • 18:26

more if you at talk to them I'm sure they have a story about being booed I have never heard one about being booed

  • 18:31

in the peak of your career so if you're asking me that I haven't heard it but I

  • 18:37

think the timing is different and now without like significant backstory yeah I mean it was kind of all the things you

  • 18:45

bind you think this affects uh or Brie at all no I don't I don't think it affects I

  • 18:50

mean what do you mean affect him like personally no and it went on on any level I think he affect impact all

  • 18:56

personally I think it personally bothered he said it was humbling yes I'm sure yeah that's personally affecting them it

  • 19:02

affects you uh especially when you're at the height of your career you're as big of an artist as as Drake is to give

  • 19:09

bootiful the stage it's it's humbling it's a it's an ego check it lets you

  • 19:14

know that it's possible to not be accepted on certain stages it's new its

  • 19:20

new terms y'all cause y'all call it humbling I call it a fastball dead it

  • 19:27

straight over the plate and I'm gonna revert back to my same point I made about that can be humbling yes if you

  • 19:35

can't catch ups but it's never about the event it's about what you do with it

  • 19:41

that's just my motto in life yeah because life just happens life happens on life's terms not yours and you as it

  • 19:49

as as a person have to be prepared for that so yes it could be humbling mm-hmm

  • 19:55

the fastball over the plate to me comes when you you give these huge mega stars

  • 20:04

back to my Nikki point with that whole cardi [ __ ] from years ago I said on everybody struggle I'll say it again here when you give these huge mega stars

  • 20:11

these small windows in which they could hit that vulnerable button and play that

  • 20:19

sympathy card into the biggest thing you've ever seen in your life hmm depending on how Drake wanted to

  • 20:28

spend this any peach she's putting a little bit with the each roll sheet rolled cute afterward y'all got a

  • 20:35

presidency here now yeah and taking a little jab to that it was a bunch of young kids in

  • 20:41

that crowd took a little jab he had Tyler come come to his aid I'm not saying he had but Tyler came there's a

  • 20:48

daunting challenge though on his own oh yeah just a real [ __ ] it's just real [ __ ] [ __ ] Tyler did that so depending

  • 20:55

on how he spends this because this industry is all about spinning things I think he could be could not that he

  • 21:02

needs it but he could use the spin on victimization there's there's huge value

  • 21:09

in the victimization now well yeah I mean if that kind of was the response from the internet was like alright those

  • 21:15

kids like y'all watch y'all playing with somebody who I can assure you has been locked in a studio on in his off time

  • 21:23

    with a winter smoker hmm I don't know that I haven't spoken anybody I don't

  • 21:30

have any fat no for sure but now I get to leave the concert and have a whole new view of my winter batch

  • 21:39

hmm now instead of that girl smash I was going with I might just change a couple

  • 21:47

bars and go to some victimless I don't sleep one on the boy the boy is the king

  • 21:52

of the vague record fake record oh yeah this is again this is just say it's just

  • 21:58

uh you know it's just a gut check I mean you know he Drake got caught with a butt

  • 22:05

overhand right this stung though but you know it happens I don't remember it ever happening

  • 22:10

it's when artists in their prime like this as big of artists Drake is a look

  • 22:15

at our generation yeah not without

  • 22:21

something significant happening and we're like where you get arrested for some wild [ __ ] all right you know how that go yeah that story

  • 22:27

goes with people just fall out of love what you like oh you did some wild [ __ ] we don't [ __ ] with you no more I also just think this day and age that

  • 22:34

trolling [ __ ] is just welcomed way more freely than it used to be yeah like this

  • 22:40

is funny to them if we start booing as a group and even Tyler st. in the mob mentality [ __ ] yeah I think a few people

  • 22:45

started and everyone's like yeah that'll be funny let's do that well yes we're in that era where a generous welcomed it's

  • 22:52

like that's the the fun thing to do well speaking of that point the Rory just made let me ask

  • 22:57

you gentlemen this what do you all fall on I spent my money so I can boo take that think that's dumb

  • 23:05

no I I think it's fair for a reasonable system Amateur Night

  • 23:10

oh you booing let somebody just so you

  • 23:19

can't boo somebody that has I think it's [ __ ] up you to move the artist and when you probably intend to be booing

  • 23:25

like the people that pick Drake and sometimes booing is just fun yeah but

  • 23:30

it's not gonna have to be an indictment against it's just like whatever but

  • 23:38

we're gonna have a conversation like for you to buy a ticket and go to a festival just to boo the biggest artists um you

  • 23:44

wait wait wait time out time out time out who the [ __ ] are you to say just to me I bought a hot dog I saw some sites

  • 23:51

about 12 girls she met me here okay it's like and I wanna boom now is that a bad

  • 23:59

point I'm sorry no it's kind of to my point of what I say able to go to the Gucci but you

  • 24:06

should be able to boo you can't take away freedom up oh yeah no but I get it

  • 24:12

up show I'm so far I've never bought one of the most successful people in their profession whatever I paid to go see

  • 24:18

I've never booth oh like I'm like more I could leave say lived with you and for

  • 24:25

at least five of those years every morning you woke up you went straight to booing Floyd Mayweather I've never paid

  • 24:32

to see Floyd I've never went to a fight and budem you never bought a fight no that's what I'm

  • 24:38

saying I wouldn't go to a Floyd fight and stand ringside as you start born but

  • 24:50

oh well [ __ ] if that's your stance then let me just come clean with this the beginning of the storylines interview

  • 24:57

I'm dying to hear about that oh he's sharing information again small no I

  • 25:05

don't like how are STDs STD oh look if they've been it what happy

  • 25:11

so my chair wait nah I want to know them yeah you know how give it up to

  • 25:22

everything you question that's about you really said no so long I bring this up

  • 25:36

ingest I've broken up joking I'm brung it up joking burnable but what I'm serious wait parks mix the audio I did

  • 25:43

write do you mix the Thresher Frank talk about Charlemagne ever y'all apart parks

  • 25:52

amazed by eyes at me as you I was in the

  • 25:59

room I cannot believe boxer made why you

  • 26:10

still told my meme park the me no snitch listen no no way let me talk please yeah I can try to talk for 10 minutes

  • 26:18

this is why this is funny more okay oh no you shot me [ __ ] the game are you

  • 26:27

normally the artist should be able to just joke around and you take haha

  • 26:32

that'd be the end of it normally but because y'all I'm a [ __ ] the game up with his shenanigans

  • 26:38

now when Tori started coming for mall after all the years of listening to mall [ __ ] on Tori and Tori's view from his

  • 26:49

did he says that [ __ ] mall hates me there's nothing I can do I think he got

  • 26:56

me mixed up with ice again he's done this before he thinks I'm ice no I think I remember

  • 27:02

the original one he said you had glasses or so was the original one and he was

  • 27:08

    wrong way I was sitting on Tori I was a better artist I shouldn't be [ __ ] but wait I said

  • 27:17

that I said I shot more my shot my guy some bill I said yeah I think mall shits on you only in relation to where you

  • 27:24

stand vs. Bryson he said no I'm not even talk about that any time my name comes up oh sorry

  • 27:31

    early in his career I wasn't [ __ ] telling everybody about this [ __ ] how am I now [ __ ] on you because I think

  • 27:36

    Bryson is a better over artists and there's a classic album you know that's not [ __ ] on you I still [ __ ] with

  • 27:42

Tori well he was like straight face joking when he said I got to see more man I got a punch mall on his face he

  • 27:48

said he got to punch me in my face yeah he said I got a snuff from all when I seen and I said well there will be no

  • 27:53

    physicality if I'm present

  • 27:58

not president yeah I'm not Joe Amane you think I'm Joe Maine Mouse me no punch

  • 28:12

him I didn't take I didn't take gonna be serious at all but it's funny it's just funny that you have to mention it because it could cause yeah cause

  • 28:19

something turmoil in the cruise control

  • 28:29

dome it was like at the beginning I thought it was like while they're getting my passion let's release just

  • 28:36

that audio in the pod we respond but why does Tori feel like I'm waiting at my talk [ __ ] about Tori you have to tell me

  • 28:42

how can I be honest with you I don't remember outside of the price of are you are you in the like yeah but we're gonna

  • 28:53

later talk about not that this has anything to do with Tori but just artists glasses and what some artists

  • 29:02

see through there never hear a compliment they only hear big someone up

  • 29:08

for 300 episodes and it just be that one slight that you say that's the only people I know that artists are very

  • 29:13

sensitive there's a such thing artists glass I understand for sure but Tori is

  • 29:18

completely wrong and thinking that I [ __ ] on anymore I don't like him I have a problem but outside that was it

  • 29:24

was a it was a really good interview it was great it was it a great great great and I would love to talk to him at some

  • 29:29

point I'm sure you well I'm sure we'll do the part so but I didn't mean to get

  • 29:36

into anything toward that was just like guilty conscience that was right no flag

  • 29:42

on you lucky no flow of conversation okay swells can you get it it's the king

  • 29:48

of the case it's all right Tory Drake I'll see the

  • 29:54

yeah I know I just I'm sorry y'all gonna say I'm diggin but I just didn't see it

  • 30:00

as the biggest of deals not any they're the biggest recording artists that we

  • 30:05

have got booed for a couple of minutes because he handled this let me tell you

  • 30:10

that and when I looked at it I said and that's that right there that this showmanship that's moxie

  • 30:17

yeah this is something that we're witnessing here that is not present in

  • 30:22

many like there was even Jules and beat him being booed take that from someone

  • 30:28

who has been booed like to speak to even drop the bar if y'all want to keep going

  • 30:35

cuz I'll keep going right to say that smoothly and you not really hear what's

  • 30:41

being said and then actually do it and thank you my name is Drake I'll see you

  • 30:47

later it was very simple but as a performer I said wow man yeah the guys

  • 30:52

good guys the guys good and every time you see him that level of moxie that cachet is present like but I'm talking

  • 31:00

about outside of like if you look past him as an artist rapper singer all of

  • 31:06

that [ __ ] like we needed to get that at ESPN Award yeah that was magic yeah he

  • 31:13

knows handled some when he did Saturday Night Live you will be hard pressed to

  • 31:18

name me 20 people that did it better over the span of the decade you know

  • 31:23

he's definitely a great actor and he's a funny dude yeah when he fell out the

  • 31:28

wheelchair I mean well I saw it later

  • 31:35

but Superman fit so I didn't take it as that you know but I it's not a great

  • 31:41

look at what you just like it's if we saw Brianna get booed off the stage we this is all I'm saying

  • 31:47

I don't say getting booed off the stage Oh Chris Brown yeah like it's crazy would you like wait they booed him off

  • 31:53

the stage like the foot but Cole Kendrick yeah this certain the rest of

  • 31:59

    y'all can get booed I think that's the [ __ ] heathen

  • 32:06

artwork yeah but you know whatever yo yo yo listen man [ __ ] buit Rihanna but you

  • 32:15

know I might you might not be able to do that why how do you know it's Rihanna or beyoncé beyoncé just follow me in theory

  • 32:22

it's Rihanna and it's Beyonce they're they're cemented so why would you did

  • 32:27

they they excellent so we'll get ejected I'm saying is somebody who's not so

  • 32:32

cemented in their excellence Drake is cemented let me I'm not talking about Drake oh I thought he could be I know

  • 32:41

that's surprising he should be boo but what I'm saying is if you have this amazing artist that maybe not isn't it's

  • 32:47

not on the level of Drake and really and beyond so but right underneath where they're just amazing musically and you go to a show and they're just not good

  • 32:53

at one of that same level I'm not I

  • 32:59

could see someone huge being booed if your show isn't that great yeah I could

  • 33:06

see that this is totally unexpected I'm not speaking on this but yeah yeah could

  • 33:12

    somebody will get mood for definitely bad shows [ __ ] up saying some [ __ ] up [ __ ] is show there's a million

  • 33:18

reasons for someone to get booed when they go on stage but yeah I don't think that that was but that would this goes back to what I was saying last week

  • 33:23

about master No Limit for the reunion show getting booed in st. Louis I didn't even understand what he was going

  • 33:29

someone hit me I forgot what they said exactly but they said that they were lay in certain people that show up and a

  • 33:35

bunch of [ __ ] I guess it was deeper than just them coming out and got booed off so it wasn't like that apparently in Tyler's defense I'm not

  • 33:41

booing feeling aways Tyler you he was

  • 33:46

trying get loose to hotline bling he said that was the next song I felt them

  • 33:53

hmm at a festival you want to outline blue so for you so you can watch the goose in text somebody feel no ways like

  • 33:59

off a pill yeah I think it just comes down to the totally understandable now I

  • 34:09

think listen I think the world knows now that that's just a different ground yeah if you

  • 34:16

didn't know you should know it now all right I'm not spending any more time on Drake and Tyler shout out to both of

  • 34:22

them where do y'all want to go next from here actually I think it's amazing that we just deep dive only this part the

  • 34:29

boobs didn't need to be explained now we broke down the kings you see a correlation layers of the boobs the

  • 34:37

layers come on those layers rap genius whoo now let's keep this on performances

  • 34:44

and dive right in the summer Walker I have the clipping the most about save the clip the most the interesting case

  • 34:52

of miss summer Walker yeah I say interesting because I have been watching

  • 34:58

this developed for weeks mom Steven [ __ ] years really yeah I've

  • 35:05

been watching more intuitively in recent months and we've been to summer Walker's

  • 35:14

show in New York that was her first show in New York it was sold out willing right yeah no bow room okay oh we almost

  • 35:22

got it shakin at the summer Walker show yeah never want to go out with any of

  • 35:31

    you I don't care I don't care oh I don't

  • 35:36

want to fight it this summer one I want to find it an army concert no summer

  • 35:42

Walker I was seeing the whispers the whispers from different fans that have attended the show if you've ever

  • 35:50

attended a show or if not attended if you've ever performed at a show or done a show one of the first things you do

  • 35:55

when you get off of the stage is see what people are saying about the show a lot of artists have like a 20 minute gap

  • 36:02

in their car ride to the hotel where they just which retweet all of the great things from the show

  • 36:08

it's normally around 2:30 a.m. I think it's really cute when you see it happening I don't act like we haven't

  • 36:13

done it with our lives I only speak from experience I'm

  • 36:20

ever comparing I'm always identifying I recognize it because we did it

  • 36:25

yeah we didn't do it again and didn't do it well let me say that because I've always hated promo which is why this

  • 36:31

summer Walker topic that we have broached a lot with different artists

  • 36:37

partynextdoor being one of them Bryson tiller being what two of them there's a bunch of the new wave that suffers from

  • 36:44

some of the things that summer Walker is speaking about so uh-oh our Lenox just went to it yeah yeah same time so social

  • 36:52

anxiety social awkwardness just being overwhelmed with the choke quits with

  • 37:01

people yeah yeah that's and it's I can I can identify yeah it's one of the

  • 37:09

reasons that I have a hard time in clubs now y'all laugh at me you're laughing I

  • 37:14

agree with you when I want equality I walk in a club and I find the nearest

  • 37:20

empty corner empty somewhere Rory don't invite me nowhere without having an

  • 37:26

empty space somewhere just a way it's a good friend from things I really appreciate that about you honestly so

  • 37:33

it's only interesting here because summer Walker is an artist and as a

  • 37:41

consumer do you really give a [ __ ] about any of that if you are coming to a show

  • 37:47

as a consumer to see your favorite act and this is where and I can't I can't

  • 37:54

speak to it because I haven't seen her recent show on tour but I've seen a lot of people saying they started killing

  • 38:00

her for the meet-and-greet which made me want to come in here and ask you gentlemen what would you expect

  • 38:06

from a meet and greet from you're from one of the artists that you [ __ ] with what do you expect and I

  • 38:11

guess we've and we've done meet and greet got a lot of major gifts give some backstory on on what she was saying though with her being greets she was

  • 38:18

saying that she has a hog everybody because the transference of energy so energy she doesn't want to hug every

  • 38:24

single person doesn't know what you're going through she doesn't know what you're gonna transfer to her so she says hello and thank you which is a spaced

  • 38:30

out and hippie as it is I don't think that you should expect hug necessarily I don't think you expect

  • 38:36

a hug from any person on planet earth now stop now stop right there I will not allow you all to do that to fans who

  • 38:44

said it's a meet and greet not hugging me saying well who said that the fenced

  • 38:51

and I'm targeting in on the word expect who the [ __ ] said they expect uh-huh

  • 38:58

don't interrupt me y'all have done meet-and-greets with me and a bunch of times I didn't feel like doing that

  • 39:05

[ __ ] meet and greet citizens because because of where I was in life not the

  • 39:10

same as all of us because you all have a certain crew that's dear to see y'all and I have a certain fruit is there to

  • 39:17

see me I've done me degrees for a long time it's a large amount of people that come out and support yeah right so when

  • 39:24

Joe it in the move boy it can come off wrong but you're great no I gotta give you that I've seen you do mean grits for

  • 39:30

ten years now you know what I mean you do Nick even when you're in a bad news like this is gonna go bad but then

  • 39:36

you're giving hugs and that's kind of where I want to take this for y'all just just for a different perspective not

  • 39:41

that these fans expect a hug right because to be true truth be told the

  • 39:47

fans never know what to expect that the mean greet never they don't know what's happening sometimes they like can we say

  • 39:53

hi yeah most of the time most of some

  • 39:59

fans are awkward right so summer Walker fan come up to summer now the Joe Budden

  • 40:06

fans made the Joe Biden meet-and-greet very easy because it was so intimate and personal they experienced the music well

  • 40:12

you can't be a dick to [ __ ] that's in that same it was a lot of mental health struggles with love that was our thing

  • 40:18

if I'm a summer Walker fan and her music connects with me it's not that I'm

  • 40:23

expecting a hug it's I'm here to meet summer Walker run period right if my

  • 40:30

experience in doing that is just not a pleasurable one oh yeah may highlight

  • 40:37

the fact that I didn't get a hug no I'm not gonna it was a lot more highlighted

  • 40:42

than just that and for someone to be an energy person you have to be aware of the energy

  • 40:49

you're giving off for sure this is and this is like this is a great conversation because this really goes into like technology and music like it's

  • 40:57

a lot of that because because she is the right to do to do this absolutely but in a certain point in time like that wasn't

  • 41:03

really an option you know I'm saying going back to the argument that we often have getting on back in the day versus getting on now you couldn't get on

  • 41:09

unless you went and met people mmm you don't say now you can get poppin and be a complete social introvert like I

  • 41:17

can't look at people talk to people not true now let's add some cash oh well I

  • 41:23

was gonna say just quickly I don't want to take away from her point of what you're saying she isn't saying she's

  • 41:28

being a dick to any of them or not giving them a good experience she's saying we spread love we laugh we talk

  • 41:33

about all that [ __ ] we talk about my music compliments all that [ __ ] you are saying not a hug you are not the

  • 41:40

determiner of what a good experience is at the meeting Greece that's true all

  • 41:46

right well I'm gonna say determinate the

  • 41:53

mean greet was dope the [ __ ] they do yeah they do wait he wasn't dope because you don't

  • 41:59

want to [ __ ] take the shirt that you have more off your back and get one and they could say that wasn't a general

  • 42:04

good obviously the general public would say that fan is bug this may be a really I think the fans are bugging from one

  • 42:11

can I saw athletes no in this podcast please yeah mall this might be a really

  • 42:16

bad example of this book when we were having that whole sex abuser conversation or whatever conversation

  • 42:24

that was when I said one person coming forward is one thing forty people coming

  • 42:31

forward is another and I bring that same example here I mean we're not talking about what one fan said mm-hmm and we

  • 42:38

would never have a conversation about what one fan said or what two three four five or six fans said this is only a

  • 42:45

conversation because this conversation traveled with the tour we wouldn't do we

  • 42:51

wouldn't say this we know the obligation and the rules of meaning reuleaux savvy with this hey you say yeah hello you

  • 42:57

take your picture you take your time snap someone want to talk you give it here if you can if not there's a lot of people

  • 43:03

to get to let me add the capitalism point to this because some of the fans don't know every summer Walker show

  • 43:10

i'veseen has been sold out you're not to be the guy with the clicker counting things right they're not small rooms at

  • 43:17

all middle let's guess the room size what do you want to give her three five thousand oh yeah three to five thousand

  • 43:24

people the no twos 20250 beats one let's say between 2:00 and 5:00 somewhere somewhere five and five definitely

  • 43:31

Morton's if you get net and people connect with you on an energy level you

  • 43:39

probably have over a hundred meat groups at every show I'm sure and that could also be a conversation to be had is they

  • 43:46

the people that are handling the meet-and-greet stuff putting too much on her because like I've been in situations

  • 43:52

where the it was a ride there was no one

  • 43:58

keeping an eye on what people were allowed to do I'll organize yeah yeah people do whatever they want and a lot of times

  • 44:04

it's written in the meet and greet package what you get right a poster a picture it's adapt whatever you want to

  • 44:10

call it and you move on a lot of people come to us on tour and be like wow we actually get to like talk to you most

  • 44:16

meet and greets I think it's awkward when when they just stand there quietly and then take a picture and walk away

  • 44:21

I feel like Dan million get your money's worth speaking of money's worth back to my capitalism point what I'm saying is

  • 44:26

at each show these meet and greets are adding an extra five digits in in income

  • 44:32

yes yeah it's a significant so now that puts you at the crossroads as someone

  • 44:38

with social anxiety and it's maybe not it's maybe not you because you're not handling your business it puts your

  • 44:44

handlers at a crossroads because some of your handlers it is their job to protect

  • 44:50

your best interests so what is your best interest in that moment is it the extra

  • 44:57

five digits on the end goal on the back end because I got to tell you [ __ ] that looks sexy when it comes right

  • 45:05

you're always just telling me how great that tour money was which is why we'll be a Baltimore and inside

  • 45:15

your cat sometime in the summer I forgot the date already let me tell you something a December 19th we're in New York

  • 45:22

December 7th and 8th we're in Baltimore and Philadelphia and buddy boy I tell

  • 45:27

you the meet and greets are [ __ ] superb yes mall will be hugging every

  • 45:32

lady home boy enters into the main mall is gonna tell y'all that's crazy come on no giving it up at the mall girl

  • 45:52

I mean Emma Rory gonna give you his signature he stole from home if you

  • 45:58

gotta worry sing that you look at it man that's too cool it's a glycogen no but that's corny you stole it from somewhere

  • 46:04

you shouldn't have a cool signature if you just are signed signatures I watched it why did you signature cool because you have to sign things in life Joe not

  • 46:11

just our posters signing things in an autograph is varied are very different you know I let him do that know which

  • 46:17

his autograph looks cool I'll tell you what's really what sunset was born I've

  • 46:25

signed everything minutes ago yeah yeah it's true it's true which is bad because they have my real signature that I saw

  • 46:31

him with like money and [ __ ] so it's probably not a good idea I sign things that way it's just the only way - I'm

  • 46:37

[ __ ] after the meet and greet debacle fans fans took to their socials

  • 46:45

    [Laughter]

  • 46:55

yeah fans took to their socials and said

  • 47:00

listen [ __ ] the mean greet I never get to meet the show was just bad oh she's

  • 47:08

not gonna pull her I've never seen her laugh she said they said well first came she was in LA and I paid attention to

  • 47:14

this because of that whole LA gate that she went through when she was dissing the bones damn before I go any further

  • 47:20

let me just say I [ __ ] with summer and I enjoy her I think she's got a great album I y'all a focal summer you seen

  • 47:26

her I have seen her live but because it had la shoot that she went through I was watching this so she brought out some

  • 47:31

friends she brought out re she brought out uh sure she brought out whoever she brought out and people started killing

  • 47:37

this uh sure in summer performance there's the lazy a sack of [ __ ] they have seen and then when I saw the video

  • 47:43

I was like okay I could see how maybe somebody else could say that I wasn't there so whatever and more comment started coming out saying she just up

  • 47:49

cuz she sat down for half the set which mind you that's a huge part of some X

  • 47:55

yes especially in arm be and her hurts

  • 48:01

up but arm be is not super choreographed type music right but let me also say if you don't [ __ ] with that vibe I could

  • 48:09

see how its interpreted as laziness that's unfair I can't well the second

  • 48:14

well the second criticism was like fans you checking your phone a lot during the

  • 48:21

show oh [ __ ] phone why are you checking your phone on a chair during the show

  • 48:27

and the third criticism which was my biggest criticism at this New York show

  • 48:33

but it's your first show in New York and I'm old and washed and disconnected so I

  • 48:39

won't say anything but the third criticism was [ __ ] did I pay to come see you sing or did I pay

  • 48:47

for you to hear me sing there's an art to putting the mic to the crowd right I

  • 48:55

remember the first time I saw it it was jay-z at a Summer Jam where he just put

  • 49:00

the microphone on the floor and Summer Jam did the verse it was powerful since

  • 49:07

    then it's been [ __ ] up it's been [ __ ] it's been different since then

  • 49:14

yeah so at the show did we went to I love summer Walker music did she check

  • 49:19

her so guess what I'm not there with us with a sexy soft lady next to me I'm here with y'all and you had a sexy Soph

  • 49:27

lady with you you did sin with sin came to the show with us

  • 49:33

and I'm not calling you I'm clearing

  • 49:42

that up because I'm not saying I think the lady is sexiest so I'm just saying you had a female I'm just saying that's

  • 49:51

    all I'm saying

  • 50:04

save all don't do that but still add y'all with me with my

  • 50:13

ex-fiance I had y'all with me yes and the first thing I said was y'all I came in because I'm such a huge fan of your

  • 50:18

music and I want to eat you sing the songs you're sitting in the chair that bothers me because they told me my whole

  • 50:23

career not signature but it's arm beat so it's different it's that much different yeah I don't want to know representative chair that that's odd I

  • 50:30

didn't want to see I'll be honest with you I don't want to see an R&B X in this year for the author though she changed

  • 50:37

her stage to change this yeah well she change the cheer-mom before you could

  • 50:53

also mean it comes down you cannot fool me with cosmetics and what I mean is Hey

  • 50:58

oh you've we've all been fooled with a

  • 51:06

performer cannot fool me with the amazing smoke machines background

  • 51:12

dancers and live band I may acknowledge the drummer killing [ __ ] for about five

  • 51:17

minutes and then I'm back to looking at you I'm here for you so when she when

  • 51:24

she kept putting that mic to the crowd the crowd sung every two minutes song

  • 51:29

this is before the great album with longer songs yes so imagine how I felt

  • 51:35

as a consumer but I didn't say nothing because it's supposed to be that way right I am very familiar with summer

  • 51:42

walkers history I [ __ ] with our people they pull with her from wherever they pulled her

  • 51:48

from and she was just dope as hell wish she was at like it's like singing in the shower like y'all [ __ ] got grave

  • 51:56

misconceptions about celebrities they're just people still true so they pulled

  • 52:03

someone walking from wherever they pull it from she's got amazing songs now they got to put her in there come out with album you got to learn how to before you

  • 52:08

gotta learn how to look you gotta learning this man [ __ ] all that as a new artist but you got to learn how to do it

  • 52:14

like they always highlight the old daily news article that what's killing Beyonce for not being like Ashanti you got to

  • 52:23

learn how to do it you have to learn how to do it so I can't knock an artist

  • 52:28

especially today when we beef about the lack of artist development in the industry I can't knock the artist for

  • 52:34

succeeding early in their career and figuring it out on the go when [ __ ]

  • 52:40

ask Joe free advice yo what's that new I got a podcast show what shad do I got an album you what stuff do I got this like y'all know what I say I say start stop

  • 52:49

stop wasting your [ __ ] time asking me what you should do make I don't even know you or your interests hmm I don't

  • 52:55

know nothing about you I don't know what you can afford what you can't afford your talent level where you been who you know I don't know [ __ ] but I know that

  • 53:01

if you start if you just start and you're committed enough you'll figure it

  • 53:07

out on the go you you'll have no choice the the luxury of having a choice is

  • 53:14

gone when you start so summer Walker started she got with an amazing team the music was amazing from the RIP and

  • 53:21

she had to learn the music business now and that can be overwhelming for somebody who was just in Atlanta

  • 53:28

shooting the [ __ ] with a stripper friends especially learning the music business and there's a lot to it like

  • 53:34

performing she had to learn how to perform and learn the music business and learn the interview game and all the

  • 53:40

different [ __ ] that goes with it and not not just performing on stage how to maintain offstage in between shows is

  • 53:47

just as important and imma make a point right now there's gonna sound like the stupidest point in the world but I'm a

  • 53:53

genius so I don't say things that are stupid a lot it just sounds stupid

  • 54:00

do not underestimate a woman in love

  • 54:10

period okay I'm saying that because I have seen it firsthand in the industry

  • 54:17

when our favorite artists fall in love ya know they don't want to do the show

  • 54:24

know a woman in love go kick up yeah I

  • 54:32

can name some examples of that but will respect anonymity but yeah summer is in

  • 54:38

a relationship great album socially awkward anxiety mental has little types

  • 54:44

of [ __ ] going on maze you know what I'm gonna go I am NOT gonna hang or crucify

  • 54:50

new acts for how they decide to new act cuz I'm not a new [ __ ] act I don't

  • 54:58

think that it's the most unheard-of thing for a female artist especially to not be touched during me and greed so

  • 55:04

    yeah I don't think that's it I think that's a terrible thing I don't probably female artist yang greets I

  • 55:10

don't think you're touching Beyonce or Rihanna at their meeting group I don't think they do nothing yeah you know what I mean though I'm not

  • 55:15

sure that the average summer Walker fan is so familiar with what should and shouldn't happen at immersive course I

  • 55:22

think you are talking about a savvy or consumer that I think parks is just

  • 55:27

because it to the rumor set already right that day in force maybe they're not

  • 55:33

being enforced at her shows but and a lot of shows when it's a female singer rapper what are you gonna call it

  • 55:38

you're not touching her I mean I do respect the fact that she is talking about us a social anxiety and addressing

  • 55:45

her fans like you know listen if she's not comfortable being around you know people and being on the road and you

  • 55:51

know then listen it is what it is she makes great music show girl if I had ever advice I would say you can you can

  • 55:58

get through it and grow into it if you want to do it if you don't want to do it so you don't fans can be so [ __ ] hypocritical in so many places which I

  • 56:05

guess they're buying the music so you can have an opinion but if you connect to me so much with within my lyrics and

  • 56:10

what I'm going through with my life don't get mad when it may affect yours too don't connect to my music so much

  • 56:17

and then you listen to what I'm saying and then I act that same way and say yo I can't do these shows anymore yeah I'm

  • 56:24

a mess right now and I leave me alone another thing she should probably do what our camp should

  • 56:29

never do is not being on social media so much learn stuff I think that I think

  • 56:35

that would help laughing I think somewhere she she she strikes me as the type of woman that sits back and

  • 56:42

literally reads every idea this is actually like a broader social thing 25

  • 56:49

20 definitely early twenties I think someone that age doesn't know what it's like to not music otherwise and I just

  • 56:58

wrote something in from the introvert bag here so parks is point about age but

  • 57:03

on the introvert tip I totally disagree with them all and what as an introvert I

  • 57:09

loved and still do love the fact that but you got to bring yourself to win it

  • 57:14

intermission twenty hundred you got to bring yourself to win the internet first popped the idea that you can be home and

  • 57:21

be social and be social is the best thing in the world for someone with

  • 57:27

social anxiety and with certain introverts now when I have to go out I

  • 57:33

don't have that same feeling it's the different it's a different vibe yeah now

  • 57:39

when you add to that are reoccurring conversations of how how social media

  • 57:46

impacts new artists and how artists use it it's back to that crossroads I said

  • 57:52

that she's at yet again well it's not across little to you because the social media is nobody around you could do you can do that it's a safe place there but

  • 57:59

once I have to get out in the universe yeah I kind of I stand with her to an

  • 58:07

extent I do I understand I understand what's happening and let me not say when she canceled the tour dates I didn't

  • 58:13

think it was a lie I like I believe you I believe that this is serious enough for you to dead all of

  • 58:21

this I don't believe that the show was called and said we're not taking you anymore all of the normal lives I don't believe

  • 58:28

the only reason this could be is yeah what I'm saying is true I don't [ __ ]

  • 58:34

with this [ __ ] this is now a bad look on my career and less dead there so I could just get back to the music to Rory's point earlier the

  • 58:40

same thing that our real enix expressed it's a few weeks ago right she tweeted I'm not doing those shows [ __ ] you

  • 58:46

    [ __ ] I hate y'all I mean a [ __ ] war I followed her so she said it well I

  • 58:52

watched her whole breakdown on live two and she certainly wasn't lying would it are you say that was that stemmed from

  • 58:59

though uh she just felt I actually appreciated the honesty of saying I didn't realize

  • 59:04

it took this much work to be an artist I thought that was flat like I thought that was dope that she says she keeps it

  • 59:10

of being like that's why I follow it because most of us don't know the words yeah I'm long would be known this is

  • 59:17

gonna break me if I keep going at this path I need to find out a new way to make my music and give it to my fans

  • 59:23

without doing the path I'm on now yeah cuz it just won't work for me yeah and I respect it I think someone should just

  • 59:29

do like maybe spot shows like one show here one shown unfortunately for her the

  • 59:36

music she makes is too great so it will continue to grow her audience better like start going out like a hoodie on or

  • 59:42

something so people don't recognize her and doing like [ __ ] open mics or something like that just to get used to being in front of people whether it's a

  • 59:47

small level or not I don't know if she's too famous to do that but you could dad to mean grease that's it I think that's

  • 59:52

the first time they're demean groups but you know she went from probably doing no shows to doing shows of 5,000 campus

  • 1:00:00

that's a pretty seat she had a quick out for a while does like I'm always saying

  • 1:00:06

that you now things happen so fast for artists that they look up and they be like yo I just wanted to make music and

  • 1:00:13

just like be home and play it loud in my house if I didn't wanna have to go state to state and perform in front of 3,000

  • 1:00:19

people and I think I argue about always in that fight was cool but it's easy it's it's more difficult to sustain it

  • 1:00:24

and this is another notch in that argument you know thing is I think this is gonna work for it I think this is

  • 1:00:31

gonna like now when she decides to do a show it's gonna sell out immediately because they come like we don't know

  • 1:00:36

when she'll be ready to come out and perform again so I mean most of all you're talking about her career and not

  • 1:00:44

her mental health no but that's what I was getting to next but the important part is if she is paying attention to

  • 1:00:50

her mental health and she does understand that you know she's putting that first so I do respect her and I

  • 1:00:55

salute oh man you know what let me just tell the entertainers out there at least the ones that need to hear this don't be afraid to let your handlers

  • 1:01:04

know what comes first or this is too much yeah yeah that's why I said uh and I'll

  • 1:01:12

salute to summer Walker as well hopefully she feels amazing if she doesn't feel better soon well I'm glad

  • 1:01:18

she's getting the major markets for the remaining dates not to say that the B markets aren't great but remaining

  • 1:01:25

humble brands want those Chicago Boston Philly New York I'd like to deliver a

  • 1:01:30

whole of the B markets as well all right to NYC Atlanta yeah and I'm getting that money

  • 1:01:36

on issues done right before Christmas would you look at that all right what's

  • 1:01:45

up what's up we were yeah where we at with it moving right along moving right along listen there was this

  • 1:01:54

a case of mendeecees having his cake and eating it too because when he wasn't with Yandy was he with Erica when he

  • 1:02:01

wasn't with Erica would he be back with Yandy because if both women carried to turn the pregnancy's would have some

  • 1:02:09

    overlap

  • 1:02:21

what movie mall what movie mall I feel like I asked is just 40 podcasts ago

  • 1:02:27

    what movie

  • 1:02:32

yeah what is this this was right around uh I think it's this tack to you know I

  • 1:02:40

have five was an auto movie movies I cut

  • 1:02:49

school to buy the high five album I don't know if I said that earlier but if I give you all the list of albums that I

  • 1:02:54

cut school to purchase y'all would be amazed like the store wouldn't be able

  • 1:03:00

let's just think about why we get certain [ __ ] like stores over one school got out what was the album that made you

  • 1:03:05

cut school for good oh god what now that was dust the street

  • 1:03:13

I had no idea what a girl was at 16 well 1000% at 14 and I was still confused up

  • 1:03:21

until 17 about what a girl was yes I know about what I should do with them

  • 1:03:27

yeah I'll stay what you still do even I lost 14 I still wasn't dope you 39 is

  • 1:03:32

still confused about what you should do it but I think there's a whole show about to come for the same way still

  • 1:03:37

    it's still confusion

  • 1:03:49

no job I just don't want that old thing back and if so which one

  • 1:03:57

what am i listening to what's happening right then do loving it right go do that

  • 1:04:02

me and parks don't want that old thing back and if so which one parks is in

  • 1:04:18

production board alright let's talk about the high five to shoot the nation

  • 1:04:24

yes the high five heard around the world

  • 1:04:32

what was the welcome one more good one of y'all have to leave this is I don't I

  • 1:04:40

don't don't start with your on your

  • 1:04:48

soldiers every day every day like whenever I do I didn't post anything and

  • 1:04:55

ever I got a bunch of like [ __ ] going on I'm like what happened say no so happen

  • 1:05:01

I see y'all get your man your managers while in y'all what's about to be lit yo

  • 1:05:07

is everything good alright what's going on and I click on one of the videos man and I just see you

  • 1:05:13

know the dad had just floating around it

  • 1:05:26

was just a lot of the poor shoes is so no you had a lot of sneakers no I'm

  • 1:05:31

happy to sneak as a bat yeah that's good but it's just you know I just I just had to turn the volume up and see what my

  • 1:05:37

man's was doing and lo and behold don't low and behold I was old holding I

  • 1:05:44

wasn't low involving and we were low bowling for sure and you just got a lot of [ __ ] going on man

  • 1:05:51

and you have hobby your ex's like haha it was such a nasty high-five cuz you

  • 1:05:57

know what's crazy you know she'd even say nothing funny either like wow yeah he was laughing sergeant

  • 1:06:02

is to go yeah like it's like yo know how ex-girlfriend bought me for a minute yo

  • 1:06:09

all summer long we've been together

  • 1:06:16

come right over summer wolf it's not you do I see how you did that yo and that's probably not the right bar

  • 1:06:23

to play after we're saying you're high-fiving your ex and you're telling us you guys have been together all summer I was just singing a song that's

  • 1:06:30

cool so they put out this [ __ ] they snuck out this little teaser for Love & Hip Hop zero idea that this was coming as I

  • 1:06:41

was at the roof Tris bar and they dropped this teaser and lo and behold

  • 1:06:48

complete ease I know I don't like the

  • 1:06:57

way you insane argue you're sitting indian-style on a fountain she's perched up like a gargoyle on top of a control

  • 1:07:04

board in a studio not for nothing jello from the Neal to the fountain to the studio Joe is always

  • 1:07:10

sitting below the woman yeah you can down get another [ __ ] that's body language that's because they just always

  • 1:07:15

just you know oh you had the hot you had

  • 1:07:22

to hand out for the high G like you kind of he connected a little bit too it was like a little you put it out there he

  • 1:07:28

was like this I cannot wait I cannot wait to hear what they was laughing I'm a so buy exactly what they was laughing at if the high fire was warranted right

  • 1:07:35

there hey well you know it wasn't though it was you remember the piece of shop

  • 1:07:42

[Laughter] the piece of sh I get the laugh like

  • 1:07:48

    pepperoni no no y'all are [ __ ] stupid I do

  • 1:07:56

y'all ignorant hit laughs it was now audience I came in here today and

  • 1:08:01

unbeknownst unban I know you was but no no I wasn't but no but now it's not his

  • 1:08:06

whole season I wasn't but November those definitely appears on the screen but no

  • 1:08:14

unbeknownst to me all of the fellas Park all the fellas being parks were in mall yeah just started calling me nasty blue

  • 1:08:23

sky now I may be nasty but I don't feel like I should be giving heat for this I

  • 1:08:30

should be getting for this all right so as my friends what we do this what why why do I give me for this I didn't say a

  • 1:08:36

word trailer we've had for the season second trailer the first one was Christian whoever codifies old school

  • 1:08:43

it's the trailer we care about true no doubt this is the trailer that's gonna get people to tune it because it's just

  • 1:08:49

it just looks like Joe is just up to some shenanigans which you probably know I think the male hate in this country

  • 1:08:56

mall need I remind you fellow male mmm-hmm I didn't even say a word this

  • 1:09:03

[ __ ] the sounds off Y goes from Dean

  • 1:09:08

already headed it it goes we marry me so you can't escape your past no you didn't

  • 1:09:17

say you said that's alive got that off

  • 1:09:23

said come to my city in high five it's

  • 1:09:31

insane I'm not the one to play with thank you for the play-by-play there I'm gonna watch I don't know about suited

  • 1:09:37

but I will definitely watching this season I'm trying to get the early release you know delete the creep Marxism as

  • 1:09:48

your wife worker they got plastic shot glasses on zombies fridge washing shot

  • 1:09:57

glass why do we having people over have you wanted to [Music]

  • 1:10:03

nobody I am in ER in like a year see look look I look I do when I'm not pod

  • 1:10:10

you had it right weekend without your friends this is fresh off a comment you shouldn'ta laid turtleneck was up there

  • 1:10:21

well finally a compliment on my turtleneck or acknowledgement to my attorney I thought I was killing nice it was up to like Joel for you to sit there

  • 1:10:30

isn't that like considered body language couldn't be taken as you really don't two little smug yeah like you really

  • 1:10:36

don't care about what's being said if so I've never heard that no cuz I'm pretty sure that's in one just like sexy and

  • 1:10:52

she probably want to smack me when I'm around

  • 1:10:58

he called her songs crazy anyway [ __ ] mall and all of these

  • 1:11:05

things she wants inspection at me okay we got that should be assumed okay but what I'm saying is there a clip came

  • 1:11:12

out where Joe button did not say much of a word that's true i high-five someone

  • 1:11:19

and the streets heated up yeah you out here at least have some vanity things

  • 1:11:25

and cop to it being a nasty - things became unmanageable in the text well you

  • 1:11:31

just gotta let it rock like just sit the phone to the side now phone to tell you

  • 1:11:40

oh it's sizzling yeah too hot to use yeah yeah it's one of those uh this is

  • 1:11:47

my deep dive what did you want this is a respectable thing is y'all lasted I was just trying to make Joseph proposes here

  • 1:11:57

mister proposed himself yeah even if we hold on inside what [ __ ] gonna do when

  • 1:12:04

I hit him with the Reaper Pole momona are you in the need of a finale

  • 1:12:09

today I'll be saving the day don't do that regroup oh yeah what's up

  • 1:12:17

got a couple rigs laying around there yeah we got we got a live show yeah I

  • 1:12:22

got a lot between Rory's nephew and his uncle I'm a sick of Rory with these drops Rory just come in with new drugs

  • 1:12:29

that Parks is Rory's uncle just you know morphing back and if so which one

  • 1:12:35

by the way that was the copy on the Twitter of lovin it so let's stop let's

  • 1:12:41

stop right there and let me use a lot of my platform responsibly mmm because this is a trigger for me your access um and

  • 1:12:48

this is your storyline see why you can't see why you can't do you see why you can't be vulnerable with your friend

  • 1:12:56

I get it go I said the word trigger I specifically said this triggers mean just make jokes about me correct yeah

  • 1:13:02

but I will continue if you now we often get a bad rap of being misogynistic on

  • 1:13:07

this podcast we are I don't think I am I don't think I am either I think that's another word that people

  • 1:13:16

don't know what it means your massage

  • 1:13:22

therapist no buck is a massage there yes I am I am NOT a massage therapist let me

  • 1:13:29

see let's look this up mm-hmm right to the point so strongly prejudiced against

  • 1:13:35

women That's not me I don't got prejudice I don't believe that and and women well yeah you got a

  • 1:13:50

look at them but I'm not strongly prejudiced against them I need them what's precious mean work

  • 1:13:55

Freddie this preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience quite the contrary buddy

  • 1:14:04

experience over here I'm speaking from the heart ah but listen on my love and hip-hop

  • 1:14:10

deep dive that's kind of my point two points let me make them really quickly stack bundles rest in peace boy I understand now why you have a hard time

  • 1:14:16

reading comments point one boy do I hate Fame it is the worst

  • 1:14:25

thing in the world some of these kids today are looking for it I'm here to tell you it's ass

  • 1:14:32

I'm with summer they put out this [ __ ] clip and somehow in a clip we're

  • 1:14:41

all I'm doing is high-fiving and talking to people that I have a recipe before

  • 1:15:21

you got the jobs good well no biggest bail tenure the

  • 1:15:27

conditions under which land or buildings are held or occupy was definitely

  • 1:15:34

linking a building with oh I'm gonna start I'm the first lincoln and builder yeah no I don't think I am either but

  • 1:15:41

anyway listen to this all I did was high-five and Joe started getting trashed I started reading all types of

  • 1:15:48

horrible things on my name know which I owned up for I take full accountability and responsibility for all the horrible

  • 1:15:54

things look at that hat yo look Joe's too old for the games that he plays on

  • 1:16:00

teams teams sin Tesla here E I'm team us we worried about them weren't there were

  • 1:16:08

you know it's just motor spambots yeah oh my god she's going back to him

  • 1:16:14

Mona BOTS verse the Russian baths I love that she left him and had the mental

  • 1:16:19

wherewithal to know that he wasn't ready to be in a commission to [ __ ] up shut up

  • 1:16:25

this is a good one he's too old to be acting like a dog i high-fived some

  • 1:16:31

woman dogs high-five now they put the paw biscuit so this is what angers me about

  • 1:16:38

men and maybe this is where I may be a misogynist together have to look at it if I have to take a look at myself

  • 1:16:44

traffic designers need a logo guys still

  • 1:16:50

fall for that family I do need a graphic design master class

  • 1:16:57

don't have gonna make your logo anyway

  • 1:17:12

oh yeah own it and when the stories get twisted around when the comments like really good for me

  • 1:17:17

yeah I listen to the pot every day Joe went on there and City beat the [ __ ] out of a whoa no we would not let you talk

  • 1:17:26

about beating the [ __ ] out of somebody whose vodka I'm telling you some of the horrible things that I read about my name and my beliefs yes

  • 1:17:33

but the main bully was uh oh you don't want him nah she don't want him she don't let him see that why I'm not

  • 1:17:39

anything none of them what if she don't want him she not ready a piece you know same thing huh yeah I'm reading this stuff

  • 1:17:56

number one but that's not my biggest break my biggest gripe is hey anyone want to ask me how I feel about things

  • 1:18:03

oh man you signed up for a reality show so you have a ball oh that was the point

  • 1:18:09

I was making before we got off on this misogynistic tangent my point was if you

  • 1:18:14

really respect women if you really really in truly respect women you'll sit Indian style on a fountain if you really

  • 1:18:21

really really really worth her life you really respect woman with the lesson here y'all with calling my mom to ask

  • 1:18:26

her what she thinks about y'all call him it was autistic but if you really really really respect women there will come a

  • 1:18:33

time where the women will drag your name through the depths of the mud of on the

  • 1:18:42

planet Earth and you won't say a word

  • 1:18:47

true very true somebody stop me when I'm incorrect you got its land you won't let

  • 1:18:54

me finish my point and you will not say a [ __ ] word back this is when this is when the word narratives started being

  • 1:19:00

used in the culture which I think you started you started the narrative of

  • 1:19:05

narrative yeah where he might have a point there forgive me man flowers anyway what will

  • 1:19:17

happen is because you love respect woman you will not say a word to defend your name and likeness and because you're

  • 1:19:23

young and stupid you'll throw some stupid [ __ ] in there to do to really jumble things up and if you're silent

  • 1:19:28

long enough it'll just get that matter it just it just continues yeah and that

  • 1:19:37

just is you now thought I told you that we won't stop ya know that they'll hold

  • 1:19:43

you down for ten summers so then the one time where you'd finally say you know what I've had enough

  • 1:19:49

I am triggered and you say something you're now a commenter toxic you are a

  • 1:19:58

toxic commenter and unbeknownst to me the worst thing you could be in the

  • 1:20:06

internet age of cool kids and cool 40 year olds is a commenter no comment you

  • 1:20:15

cloud chasin first of all you can't why you can't why are you thinking things and writing them in the comment section

  • 1:20:24

you had a bit of a commenter moment this weekend as well I don't scream man I don't know if you

  • 1:20:30

have that cued up already you don't say queued up we don't need

  • 1:20:40

all of my blog highlights or just oh I have a theory about that on Sundays I

  • 1:20:45

think I think that just like the police the blogs have a quota to meet I think on Sundays is your relaxed day where

  • 1:20:51

you're just filling in the blanks of your quota you're taken yeah you're taking [ __ ] that you wouldn't ever post in the money to them who's messy Oh

  • 1:20:57

Joe's messy yeah I just go right Joe and give him some Joe sauce on a Sunday I mean the say that the paid room

  • 1:21:03

has been giving Joe sauce like for Joe

  • 1:21:08

held it down for like he has six Sunday down for like six Sundays damn

  • 1:21:17

yeah Isley man getting killed out the industries and all I did was high five that's all I have to say listen man okay

  • 1:21:23

  • 1:21:31

beautiful yes AG I hate that [ __ ] log I did try to speak to you yes thank you

  • 1:42:45

but chicks be taken he tried to talk to me with a lot of dramatics if I said a

  • 1:42:51

couple words you just to check the temperature real quick see see if I could catch some rhythm so yeah it's not

  • 1:42:56

me trying to talk no no my stats down with Rory on this one because yeah it is

  • 1:43:02

trying to talk but I think our interpretation of it is very different from women's women yes you're right in

  • 1:43:09

that now we need to tell them what it means for men because it don't mean we're trying to talk to you if I say hey

  • 1:43:16

if I say how it a pretty woman I tried to talk to it I with it yeah you don't

  • 1:43:22

just say hi to women sometimes yeah up some other pretty ones you don't say hi to women that make that you may not deem

  • 1:43:28

pretty yeah I'm not so - but you're saying the same word you trying to get

  • 1:43:55

high you smell like hi hi

  • 1:44:02

damn I was about to say sir I'm sick of the he tried to talk to me chick I'm

  • 1:44:09

over her oh what women how what we're women feel that and this is well Maybach Oh what you know they were what Derek Derek

  • 1:44:17

Jackson is he had a great sidebar I did tried to talk to me probably means he just wanted to smash talking was a means

  • 1:44:24

to the end and he's not your child's uncle so yeah Derek Jack's killed that

  • 1:44:30

one man are trying to talk to you what

  • 1:44:36

is that boy can you get your phone off the [ __ ] microphone please the men

  • 1:44:41

will try to talk to you but they're only trying to talk to you to see if they want to talk to you yeah and that's not

  • 1:44:48

acknowledged enough by women that's all I'll say there and I'll move forward so no one accuses me of being misogynistic

  • 1:44:54

ok fair enough and know what else I thought of with this what air fizeau is

  • 1:45:02

is I've been I've been there man you have some people some people in this

  • 1:45:09

case being meek who will get there the majority of their respect from men and

  • 1:45:14

woman alike and you move that way then you have some men who are just doing this which is

  • 1:45:22

what air fizeau is doing which is nah I'm in this and I'm riding [ __ ]

  • 1:45:29

    everybody [ __ ] the world [ __ ] me [ __ ] anybody who thinks I shouldn't [ __ ] my

  • 1:45:34

bandmates child's mom because it's fire and I'm doing that he's doubling down

  • 1:45:42

Rizzo is doubling down or there's like there's nothing wrong with this and that's why people need to go back to

  • 1:45:49

    getting the [ __ ] smacked out oh yeah I don't understand if a Mario wasn't too

  • 1:45:54

busy dancing around first of all I do need Ana Mari on project let me say that and that's all I'll say I won't waste

  • 1:46:00

your time with starting ana Mari on Project petition but Ana Mari on project

  • 1:46:07

while all this [ __ ] feel Mariana is either really through it April and has

  • 1:46:12

been through with her or he as the greatest poker face in history no he's dancing in his kitchen he chillin

  • 1:46:18

yeah we saw this where's janae in all of this Mario's birthday thanks Avon he ain't

  • 1:46:25

dancing he practice and wipe the blood off his shoes when we start to [ __ ] out uh no you don't do that no he just

  • 1:46:32

wiping blood off your shoes look there's other shins - yeah Annie stealing Joseph

  • 1:46:39

at my party big-ass speaker and your kitchens how you step over the body see

  • 1:46:50

YouTube mega fight that happened no YouTube where's Jake Paul and some other

  • 1:46:57

big youtuber it was in a ring you're a different world brother yeah you're in

  • 1:47:02

the YouTube streets okay oh so tell us I don't know much about it

  • 1:47:09

because I was confused cuz I don't know that YouTube audience and I saw a real ring with like real audience with real

  • 1:47:15

celebrities and real boxing gloves and a youtuber deathmatch yeah 11 million

  • 1:47:23

views these guys got ksi versus Logan Paul wait can they boxed yes they box

  • 1:47:35

their YouTube is that fight these things in like a second you [ __ ] seriously for

  • 1:47:42

real they are youtubers that fought what do you want me to say am I dreaming please can you play doubt myself ok so

  • 1:47:53

wait so this so they're youtubers so what are they doing you guys are great but they used to fight no they like sit

  • 1:47:59

around do they do what we do but now they're fighting boy it may built like

  • 1:48:04

this these things look like fighting and that's why I was a little confused so

  • 1:48:10

why you yelling at me I'm yelling at you because I didn't have a [ __ ] next to me telling me hey these are two youtubers

  • 1:48:16

fighting but I've been screaming that to you yeah 20 minutes you to be a youtuber and used to be a

  • 1:48:25

boxer to toe up take it they just [ __ ] to let they used to fight you - oh no

  • 1:48:33

they they definitely ain't used to fight you know they can't fight but they're in shape they're in great shape what do

  • 1:48:39

they do what are you doing you - I don't know but you know you think it's probably chocolate-covered roaches have

  • 1:48:47

you ever tried why is there so many people in the crowd because they're they're huge pause these are people

  • 1:48:55

would like huge fan bases with a great idea that they did it who pulled it off

  • 1:49:04

just saying passing you can't just bash

  • 1:49:11

this this is like this Liz you say this [ __ ] yeah you say like this is casual

  • 1:49:20

wow it's a great idea if everybody's really small over my bogey yes yeah

  • 1:49:28

that's a smaller one it's a ring yeah no and no it's an audience look at where they at

  • 1:49:33

look how many people were there they brung in a large crowd - [ __ ] this has 11 this almost 12 million views here

  • 1:49:39

Mall in two days that's nice okay Wow

  • 1:49:45

good for them yeah I'll congratulate everybody and involve with and they're at the fourth round already you know tiring rounds

  • 1:49:51

aren't boxing to me this is to me this is I don't know how long these rounds all but either way it's tiring to me

  • 1:49:56

this is probably part of the evolution of some of these some of this she was

  • 1:50:02

employed doing with UFC and you know just a hybrid say we're all got to fight us apply five reviews time to cut out

  • 1:50:11

red meat next level congratulations to

  • 1:50:19

them and I know this is taking it to the next level box oh it looks like that the

  • 1:50:25

rounds are only a minute but still that's exhausting that's tiring as [ __ ] to be $20,000

  • 1:50:32

six rounds two minutes you got to be in shape yeah that's true that's no crazy [ __ ] and you

  • 1:50:38

should know how to fight which they don't really but that's fine they can't fight but there was a rumor that came

  • 1:50:46

out that said that was staged no when did that rumor come out yes there was

  • 1:50:52

something that came out I don't know through that personal interview or a sticky interview or an interview with

  • 1:50:57

somebody I was familiar with what what happened and they said the plan was that

  • 1:51:02

the plan was for sticky to get beat up by this white boy early I don't remember

  • 1:51:09

the source so don't quote me I'm not a news podcast on a person everybody no sticky fingers don't beat the [ __ ]

  • 1:51:15

out that dude and and love the Fredro Starr but he lies in interviews so is

  • 1:51:21

there one of these types of fights that you guys would like to see between two people um oh well no that's what the

  • 1:51:26

whole we're ideas for gonna go far yeah we'll need add just pull your little

  • 1:51:32

phone out Walter give me long it's a snap a real thing Montoya be good fight

  • 1:51:42

what else is going on we didn't really touch on Chris Carter getting fired from Fox last week but there's no much to

  • 1:51:49

touch on because Fox came out and delivered a statement that said we fired Chris Carter and that was the end of it

  • 1:51:54

so that's all I got that's not on that yeah that's that on that let's see what

  • 1:52:00

else do I have one of this here we go to bit to bit to bit to bit I'm gonna give

  • 1:52:07

you something that explains a lot I'm reading that too bit from the show power one of Tommy's Gold's the

  • 1:52:15

light-skinned one yes the one that always wants to get into a beef with the one that got a beef with Lala Tom you

  • 1:52:20

know until my two bit two is rumored to be dating none other then that's right

  • 1:52:27

so you say it's a shooter Courtney Kent the writer and creator co-creator of

  • 1:52:35

power that should clear up so much for you guys this season if you have ever

  • 1:52:43

seen a two-bit right over there you have had to wonder

  • 1:52:51

why the final [ __ ] did he get this gig somebody so all you [ __ ] got a cousin

  • 1:52:57

that could do that dead roll better than that so this is a rumor somebody right sweetie whatever his real name is - bit - that's

  • 1:53:05

it - bit really doesn't get enough credit for how bad of a different when

  • 1:53:16

you turn it off yeah [ __ ] different it's it's all your brain a little bit shout

  • 1:53:24

out to - with me come on you you've gotten a job maybe you should've got you

  • 1:53:30

[ __ ] it throw absolu come on you've done it and I spent my entire tenure at Sears in the bathroom yeah come on I

  • 1:53:36

understand I slept in the American Eagle fitting rooms in Newport mall hmm

  • 1:53:42

or did Newport Mall sleep on you the King know we'll never know they didn't

  • 1:53:49

trust the process they didn't know what they had no why are the simplest sayings

  • 1:53:57

here like really funny head of the

  • 1:54:05

podcast game with American Eagle no no

  • 1:54:11

no bridge is where we don't even like talking to people know when he's at

  • 1:54:18

    American Eagle that's when son I can't

  • 1:54:40

wait to see you next Tuesday flyer posted by Loki special appearance by

  • 1:54:46

  • 1:54:55

    [Laughter]

  • 1:55:04

in the background moderate thing that's true piece and star moderator a key

  • 1:55:10

piece of sunset making his moderator debut change Goodwin has one I'm gonna

  • 1:55:20

get it in the sunset side yeah you're may never bussing are you [ __ ] yeah

  • 1:55:26

what's a college I popped up at trade

  • 1:55:31

school after our phone call here oh so you post that yeah oh you didn't see this video what you didn't see was

  • 1:55:36

his roommate was getting a little action when I arrived bless your phone you got a no wait I've

  • 1:55:42

never been to college notes no god bless

  • 1:55:55

my mom with my roommate my mom did the same thing didn't walk in but heard it and hit me because I wasn't there yet

  • 1:56:02

and was like I think someone's having sex in your room I was like I will just just walk up meat you know that happens

  • 1:56:13

joke that I'm not saying another that's a sex book won't happen is Joe Budden

  • 1:56:20

standing in the freshman dorm hallway while you gather the belongings of this

  • 1:56:25

    young earlier

  • 1:56:36

    [Music]

  • 1:56:54

floozy oh man anyway so after my kid now will we out

  • 1:57:00

here you know no ma'am I got to start like a wash [ __ ] disconnected from

  • 1:57:06

everything podcast because I want to talk about when you're trying to talk to your kid about something that you deem

  • 1:57:11

important that you only know it's important because you've lived life like you John talk to your kid about the importance of cleaning a room like

  • 1:57:19

waking up in a clean room yes that's like the importance of why your parents were telling you to do chores in the house like still I kind of

  • 1:57:26

prepare you for this [ __ ] now yes man well you didn't respect none of the chores like it was a reason for it

  • 1:57:31

yeah learn how to clean the bathroom yeah oh man where as a man you got to

  • 1:57:36

learn how to clean a bath you're gonna be deaf hell yeah you I need that one she's coming over

  • 1:57:42

when we clean the bathroom strike well that was my horrible app idea somehow someone would trick you to tell you that

  • 1:57:48

a girl was on the way to your crib and you would clean your crib way faster mmm to try to kill the procrastination yeah

  • 1:57:53

like this app would trick you from contact you had in your phone they yell em on the way and then you just start

  • 1:57:59

getting busy I'll tell you that's that that to me in my mind is my equivalent of Duncan from the foul line over a

  • 1:58:06

crowd of defenders like when you clean your room in preparation for something and it arrives when y'all walk in the

  • 1:58:19

room y'all walked in there you just finish cleaning [ __ ] all morning yes Karp's you smell it carpet but if

  • 1:58:26

you're a veteran you'll start with light in the candle so at least the smells she

  • 1:58:33

    did

  • 1:58:48

the fetal position and cry if nothing else does I don't even like these sheets

  • 1:58:55

well some of the reasons they didn't come know that Debbie - [ __ ] cuz they don't try to get complex with it

  • 1:59:01

uh-uh the number one for me always was if she was leaving the spot on my friend

  • 1:59:07

drunk while and I gotta take care of her [ __ ] that was always the one that you know the late nights my like we give a

  • 1:59:13

[ __ ] about the friends at all yeah like I mean I'm gonna go back to when I was younger because that's probably that's

  • 1:59:18

probably back when it's tough with that today now maybe silly I watched a little

  • 1:59:25

brother sister day parents was at home yeah [ __ ] like that yes that was a common as women get old

  • 1:59:32

you don't hear that I can't make it anymore like wait well no good nati just leave the kid at home alone come on with

  • 1:59:47

all this mommy the years one day we've had them comes easy - all right all

  • 1:59:53

right what else do we got what's going on what's going on I think it's time Joe you have to give Jay's flowers

  • 2:00:00

I think this I think this podcast pain you focus the diplo i think this podcast

  • 2:00:06

is giving a whole no but in regards to

  • 2:00:14

this yeah we were kind of rough on him on this platform I know yeah well Joe I was but

  • 2:00:23

rightfully so I thought no you weren't right I was Inquisitor reacted off with 20 second clip that's not true no I did not

  • 2:00:30

don't do that the whole interview wasn't available you don't pay don't pay me like that the only conference the interview was nasty I'm know I'm an avid

  • 2:00:36

old guy that thought it was nasty it was okay well you say it was nasty two weeks after that all we got was them

  • 2:00:46

some program making black men cut their dreads and that was nasty and we found

  • 2:00:51

out that that program was associated with whatever which is connected - whatever lender get into that but two

  • 2:00:58

weeks later I came to you behind the scenes and said what I don't know okay I

  • 2:01:03

said to you ahaha and you dead AHA what I said you can't you can't

  • 2:01:11

trick me this quietness is whole yeah I

  • 2:01:16

said I don't think it's a mistake that the the black kids get we're getting a

  • 2:01:21

dress cut and then there was a blanket and then it was silence and to me that

  • 2:01:28

was whole recognizing a mistake after he started something and fixing it without

  • 2:01:36

anybody knowing a word I said that to you behind the scenes because of the utmost respect that we have for home and

  • 2:01:42

all of his ventures but now that we're here but you are correct

  • 2:01:48

Colin Kaepernick now has a private workout set up for NFL execs and scouts

  • 2:01:57

what that says to me is the black ball

  • 2:02:02

is lifted because it's it's never about the job interview actually me and my mom

  • 2:02:10

were just talking about that I want to congratulate my older brother veer on on

  • 2:02:16

he went through some rigorous testing to be a longshoreman I don't know what a

  • 2:02:23

longshoreman is I don't know what it does look it's I don't really I know all of the longshoremen are really excited

  • 2:02:31

to be longshoremen look like so it's a thing it's a great paying job it's like

  • 2:02:38

a lawyer thing I learned something but my brother got that job so I want to congratulate him cuz it's the best job

  • 2:02:45

he's ever gotten and he worked his ass off and he took the test or whatever still him then why did I bring this up I

  • 2:02:51

had a point that I was making I went from we're talking my cat oh yeah and I was talking to my mom about it

  • 2:02:57

and what I was explaining to her was that the testing I was saying it was a

  • 2:03:04

lot of testing he must test very well and she said what testing he did an interview and I say it's a test they interview is a test for

  • 2:03:12

sure everybody that comes to the interview you can do the job 80% of you

  • 2:03:17

can do the job it's about who they select because their criteria is much

  • 2:03:22

wider than their alarming you that it is right it's not just about doing the job

  • 2:03:28

yeah it's not just about that it's about the person that you are it's about the things that you exhibit in that

  • 2:03:35

face-to-face exchange right and I'm saying this is someone someone who hasn't had many jobs but that is true so

  • 2:03:42

testing testing testing why did I bring up testing in the fact that with this camp with oh so he's about testing

  • 2:03:48

testing testing so the scouts and execs are there this is framed as they're there to see

  • 2:03:55

if he can throw a football peak in but we know he can throw a football yeah we

  • 2:04:00

don't need that so this is saying we are now allowing NFL scouts and execs to

  • 2:04:06

look at you in a light that we previously would not allow you to be looked at in doors and opportunities are

  • 2:04:14

being opened for you now miraculously out of the clear blue sky after years and years and years more contrary to

  • 2:04:22

what you saying to me the very first thing I thought was oh you can't trick me whole this is you yeah I recognize

  • 2:04:32

that what a gene what a brilliant move to go quiet he's done this for years and

  • 2:04:39

years and years that's why I recognized it but and I'm not saying I'm right I haven't spoken him I'm spelling anybody but if you just

  • 2:04:46

been a fan of somebody for a long time you know that style and this appears to be stylistic both yeah that's what I'll

  • 2:04:54

say there so he has influence now being in these offices with the NFL and this

  • 2:05:01

makes a whole lot of sense considering some of the remarks that were coming from Collins camp when all that whole

  • 2:05:08

[ __ ] was announced about you know the discrepancies about hey yeah

  • 2:05:15

definitely not great you know that whole after that and you don't know well I know hmm somebody most team spoke to

  • 2:05:23

somebody from your team after that of course I would say that but I won't you

  • 2:05:29

can because you built the city but more

  • 2:05:36

I don't have anything to say here if I was rough on hold I think rightfully so because I have to have to have an

  • 2:05:43

objective unbiased opinion here I don't I don't think that that should alter how

  • 2:05:49

I how my feelings are toward old document it for years and years and years aside from when I was spending my

  • 2:05:56

life dissing off and still loved him during that time I don't believe you

  • 2:06:02

dissed people that you don't love I think love and hate are directly related okay their fair point um what do you all

  • 2:06:09

feel about this I love it I'm super happy for Colin Kapernick got to Anessa sealed the deal I don't know he's been

  • 2:06:18

following a bro on Twitter but I think that's really what did it shoutout to e bro he might have seals the deal

  • 2:06:23

but whoever got the deal seal congratulations you know hoping it's a

  • 2:06:28

do it's a my talk about seal the deal I hope he gets the deal if he does not get it if he does not get it if he does not

  • 2:06:35

get it do not take for granted the moment in black history that is happening I had that conversation over

  • 2:06:42

the weekend as well when me and my all of my living room coaches that came to visit highlighted

  • 2:06:47

the amount of black quarterbacks that exist in the league the best - I would

  • 2:06:53

say Lee gray whose body and [ __ ] really

  • 2:06:58

Russell will this did well he's saying people that's killing [ __ ] Russell Wilson yeah DeSean Shawn Hopkins

  • 2:07:08

    I'm sorry that's wrong Watson Patrick [ __ ] our job Lamar Jackson's [ __ ]

  • 2:07:15

I'm counting teddy bridgewater in here because he's getting 20 mil a year the next year and he's gonna start somewhere

  • 2:07:21

next year yeah you know they're done I'm counting Teddy Bridgewater and there there's another one that I'm forgetting

  • 2:07:27

that's pretty good as oh boy far as what quarterback just black cool yeah damn good is the one I'm

  • 2:07:33

forgetting dak is the one I'm forgetting that's six black quarterbacks dominating

  • 2:07:39

Lamar Jackson's the best football player in football now to sports podcast I want

  • 2:07:44

to argue against it okay I think you can make the case for us you can make the case for Patrick mahomes

  • 2:07:50

just by what you see like yeah well I'm Patrick Spencer most injured but what but look at that

  • 2:07:56

but but look at that what does that say who cares who cares right who cares who's the best there's five to six

  • 2:08:04

dominant black quarterbacks in this league where I don't have to get into

  • 2:08:11

what we believe this lead to stand for most of the time yeah right so you know

  • 2:08:17

for me you know I look at sports as a reflection of society I look at Wall Street as a reflection of society I look

  • 2:08:23

at the president has a reflection of society some things and I know that sounds nuts but it's a high school dropout gotta get you in for where you

  • 2:08:29

get it this is reflective of some things I don't think that this Collin news on

  • 2:08:35

the cusp of all of these dominant black quarterbacks when they ran that triple

  • 2:08:40

play option on the Ravens with Lamar Jackson and Robert Griffin and Mark Ingram yeah it doesn't have any other

  • 2:08:47

phone some GM somewhere had to say you know what where's-where's calling yeah

  • 2:08:54

oh [ __ ] kala Murray's having a good rookie year too that's true no he's having incredible guy caelum Eric I'll

  • 2:08:59

take you through it at reception till like yesterday yeah I think it was he had one you set the record for most

  • 2:09:05

completions with an interception of belief it was the rowdy and [ __ ] with not the greatest squad a terrible squad

  • 2:09:12

really not terrible listen man cannibal Colin Kaepernick his talent like I told y'all watch the one game it was the the

  • 2:09:20

Patriots against the Jets and I told y'all that quarterback my Jets might have been one of the worst quarterbacks I've ever seen yeah yeah told me I was

  • 2:09:26

wrong you're wrong but I know he ain't better than Colin Kaepernick he might be he's not I don't think he is enough no

  • 2:09:32

we haven't seen Colin Kaepernick throw in a game in four years Colin Kaepernick can throw better than that kid I assume

  • 2:09:39

that to be the case the therapist would say this is not fair based notice of fact base we've seen colin kaepernick throw football not in

  • 2:09:45

recent years that kid was throwing the same interception every time look I'm

  • 2:09:50

now here to argue about Sam don't I'm just saying if he has a place in the NFL

  • 2:09:56

Connor congratulations to Colin Kaepernick it's the opportunity that you've been waiting for let's go to

  • 2:10:02

Miami from the videos that we saw you've been staring for this for quite some time so congratulate College taxes on

  • 2:10:09

  • 2:10:17

  • 2:10:23

step is him to get a job cap is young yeah especially I have three years of

  • 2:10:29

you know abuse football abuse on your body right yeah that's very young and he was extremely talented and still is I'm

  • 2:10:35

sure and he's a capo man put him one of beers right now let's go yeah I'm

  • 2:10:42

alright what else is happening uh oh well on hole [ __ ] I mean hole made the

  • 2:10:48

smart decision and followed my guy bills overs only following bills on if you're

  • 2:10:54

only gonna follow someone those to me is the greatest tweeter of all time so I think it's only right that hole only

  • 2:11:00

follows bills even if holy for like eight hours yeah

  • 2:11:05

shout out to bills goes over the king of that you probably a few hours and gives you right out of here was it weren't you

  • 2:11:10

the last one that he did I don't know if I was the last one but it happened to me before actually yeah you guys kind of

  • 2:11:18

are that he's a really good tweeter he's a great Twitter I think I would go as far to say he's the greatest tweeter

  • 2:11:24

Walter yeah job the bills yeah alright what else is important in the universe wanna talk about me using for a change

  • 2:11:29

no no he is known followed bills but a couple hours he was fall who's following

  • 2:11:35

my guys exactly you want to talk about music Davis album came out Jack we album

  • 2:11:44

came out what an album by jock wheeze I haven't I haven't heard the Davis album yet I'm seeing rave reviews about it I'm

  • 2:11:52

seeing a lot of people say really good things about that Dave east album this real solid the jock wheeze album is great great it's great it's great

  • 2:12:03

I wouldn't say great bode you say okay that's great like 18 19 joints on it so

  • 2:12:17

you had to walk away like in nine of them and that's great how does someone walk they're good songs

  • 2:12:22

oh that's do that's the one that record is the one his Tory record is the one that fact or fiction record is the one

  • 2:12:29

that need need you whatever that was less than one I don't want to give you the definition of one foot I'm not

  • 2:12:44

Webster but he's got a few one Chris

  • 2:12:51

Brown got a record coming it's gonna be crazy heard that don't tell me about it don't

  • 2:13:00

tell me or our audience about it because Chris Brown put out 42 songs and two

  • 2:13:06

weeks later put out the deluxe of the 42 songs from the Warren just summer walking just fill out her album which is

  • 2:13:11

truly amazing and then told everybody that suck her dick she's not feeling well and I'm going she's going home so

  • 2:13:16

when she was gonna release Musa when you tell me that two of my favorite people that record music have a song to me it's

  • 2:13:23

like watching the coming attraction in the movie and they don't never give the date of the great movie that you waiting to see come out oh no that's just coming

  • 2:13:29

like probably in the next two weeks oh what really Lucy yeah I do not

  • 2:13:35

believe that they reported a record and they're gonna Lucy this he was there

  • 2:13:41

I'll take it I'll you know what will my man want to know me son of Carmen's

  • 2:13:47

alright I understand I was happy for job Queens because for

  • 2:13:52

somebody that go through all of that king of R&B [ __ ] that he went through and then actually deliver an album like

  • 2:13:58

the best body of work that they probably have delivered because I do think this is his best body of work that he's

  • 2:14:04

delivered this far um he smoked that like so when you just live up to the pressure and the expectations

  • 2:14:10

yeah I'm proud of junkies man good album good album chicks tape comes out this Friday I already told y'all what's going on in

  • 2:14:17

there he smoked that he smoked that to smithereens all of it samples to features both y'all

  • 2:14:22

just in the student here yet fighting it in here yet or they are real knows fine

  • 2:14:28

but it's all you know like sixty and I do Vermeer it wasn't you that put me on

  • 2:14:34

a jinx tape ironically enough it was Trey was not it was me know he was

  • 2:14:41

playing some heat off the part two and I was like who was that and he said it's Tory Lanez and I said oh I never [ __ ]

  • 2:14:47

would do I never heard not know that was me you want a credit of everything that's you can be no you put me on a

  • 2:14:55

janae IA co that's another one I'll put you on a Frank Ocean maybe Franco no ain't no maybe Nova K for you you played

  • 2:15:02

that soup for three days straight I'll put you on a cocaine and rapped on it oh you wrote all this yeah I'm saying I'll

  • 2:15:08

put your cookies I did put me on a coke okay no no he just sold it to you so he

  • 2:15:17

did that's another one man I Love & Hip Hop clip one out and everybody man out

  • 2:15:25

Tyrion with that crackhead ass [ __ ] my [ __ ] was on - he had to free herself from him I'm giving you your flowers we

  • 2:15:36

got to talk about how many rappers have admitted to being on dust that just gets swept under the rug no pun intended

  • 2:15:41

oh I'm one of them so no we everyone talks about you'd be known dust Oh everybody else gets it off right yes

  • 2:15:47

except for my day favorites yo [ __ ] steal all Joe waves this [ __ ] beans wrapped on a classic I was wiling

  • 2:15:54

off embalming fluid like that was like we was Snoop has talked about it Matt

  • 2:16:01

Scarface's talked about it many times so many rappers have been always losing the entire route

  • 2:16:08

    anyways continue on my short-term

  • 2:16:14

memories bad was it on dust was it boy I wasn't home on this no we're all putting you on a cocaine oh

  • 2:16:22

and everyone saying to hear he wants to crack head back you said that that's

  • 2:16:28

what I was outside amid never being able to express their feelings men F men will

  • 2:16:35

never get credit for an ex wanting them back oh no we don't and that's why

  • 2:16:42

surprise that we don't get any cuz that's what my confusion that's what this is why this is why I'm surprised

  • 2:16:47

and confused if you acknowledge how toxic and how much of a piece of [ __ ] a man is like I'm telling other woman

  • 2:16:53

conglomerate that's into whatever woman say so we're woman empowerment we're rolling with that she's a woman I feel

  • 2:16:59

her cuz I'm a woman I feel that pain I know that story I know that struggle if you're acknowledging out toxic and how much of a piece of [ __ ] a man is so

  • 2:17:05

that's why woman left when she decides to try to come back if that's happening why don't get reversed all the bad [ __ ]

  • 2:17:13

we said about the man you trying to make sense right now and that is my beef

  • 2:17:22

trying to put logic to show in this clip where I'm just high-fiving and it looks like I'm trying to work things out

  • 2:17:28

between yeah that's how it's taken you shouldn't be around her in such Aryans Peter shouldn't say why you take it like

  • 2:17:34

oh they still hot on just [ __ ] though you might be I know some real [ __ ]

  • 2:17:39

look at it like that but ain't no women go look at it like that fine alright enough about me

  • 2:17:45

Instagram is about to hide likes for some of us users here's what to expect

  • 2:17:50

yes that is what the article says on CNN business is by now why don't women think

  • 2:17:58

you can't have chemistry with someone that you were with

  • 2:18:03

[Music] anyways you were saying with the likes

  • 2:18:08

no no we here now we in the street they go to school bus got standing now

  • 2:18:17

it's not that you can't have chemistry you shouldn't with the next you can't

  • 2:18:22

acknowledge that it's there you can't like yeah you can't oh no that makes sense yeah you can't oh I'm saying

  • 2:18:28

but to expect that someone wouldn't have chemistry is someone that they were with and executing a high five I'm gonna just

  • 2:18:37

call coordination by the way what you'll have much but I don't so that was coming you've had you high

  • 2:18:45

five before yeah y'all are [ __ ] and my high five

  • 2:18:52

record is going why not Oh about slaves to jail um what do we think about

  • 2:19:01

Instagram hiding the likes Nicki Minaj sounded off on this issue hold she said uh she said this is some [ __ ] she

  • 2:19:09

likes tests I agree that's that's her thing I agree with every word she said

  • 2:19:16

every word we kind yes she does like stats but that's not the rant didn't

  • 2:19:22

seem like it was founded upon her like like of stats it sounded like she's just very weird

  • 2:19:28

what's going on which is Instagram sooner or later was going to find a way

  • 2:19:34

to make money okay and for too long

  • 2:19:39

Instagram watched influencers and tastemakers make bags off and bat now

  • 2:19:46

being a brand ambassador sponsorships integration so forth and so on okay

  • 2:19:52

which we talked about on this podcast a bunch of times and a bunch of people have I don't think that's the reason why

  • 2:20:00

this is happening the fact of the matter is that is the exact reason it's that matter entirely I love to you dear I think what's

  • 2:20:08

happening is that people are posting less on the timelines so there's less [ __ ] for them to be active with as far

  • 2:20:14

as sponsorships and [ __ ] like that because people are cognizant of likes and comments and perception I think we

  • 2:20:26

keep keep on saying I think that the ever-growing population of Instagram all

  • 2:20:32

of them at once are just timely with posts anybody that has big big

  • 2:20:38

followings go to their page they have eight pictures ten pictures nine pictures they don't Instagram wasn't like that but not only that no I

  • 2:20:45

don't know that to be true do it look at it I think I think but they do that for traffic purposes and

  • 2:20:50

traffic purposes will still exist so you wait wait wait y'all don't believe that algorithms on

  • 2:20:56

Instagram are being altered by Instagram yeah of course how can you believe that and what parts of thing because you

  • 2:21:03

still see [ __ ] posted from somebody from three days ago like right now if you open your phone yeah right so I think

  • 2:21:09

what parks is saying is because people don't post because of that like people don't really post because they know that

  • 2:21:15

yo it's gonna show up people with major following on Monday people will still

  • 2:21:22

see this on their timeline on traffic purposes wouldn't matter at that point

  • 2:21:29

if you take it away the traffic doesn't change you're still gonna post at the same time you would post no my point is that

  • 2:21:35

people with big followings are posting less I'm saying traffic won't matter at that point and if you have a big

  • 2:21:41

following you should you're really cognizant - is this gonna be effective for my brand rather than what it looks

  • 2:21:46

like let's not spend too much time on it parks is entitled to his opinion

  • 2:21:52

Instagram is altering how you receive things they they themselves are altering

  • 2:21:59

algorithms maybe based on the frequency in which people post that part of what

  • 2:22:05

Parks is saying is true so if you post like me two pictures a week guess what

  • 2:22:11

killing [ __ ] your Instagram following will not grow the same way that mine's has not grown wrong I've been I've had

  • 2:22:18

1.6 million followers for three years now light stunts it's not really a stunt

  • 2:22:24

[ __ ] I don't post really but anyway because Instagram recognizes that the

  • 2:22:30

way that they choose to spread my algorithm or my pictures is at a very

  • 2:22:35

low frequency that part of what parks are saying is true

  • 2:22:40

that kind of doesn't respond to why Instagram is showing you things from

  • 2:22:47

three and four days ago and to why they would want to hide the likes and smother

  • 2:22:53

engagement and make all of the brand's go through them they make them be the

  • 2:22:59

middleman yeah that's what sponsorships well we know what I mean I think a big

  • 2:23:05

part of them hiding the likes is due to the fact that some people you know they feel like and then they got the nerve to

  • 2:23:12

think that they think they to think that they can piss on us and tell us it's raining by saying we're doing this for

  • 2:23:19

    mental health that's [ __ ] I never said that [ __ ] yeah people

  • 2:23:29

absolutely walk around fooling some table saying is true yes the license

  • 2:23:39

[ __ ] affects people's mental help kids that's not why they are doing this if

  • 2:23:46

all big business and capitalism have never relied on merit it doesn't go that

  • 2:23:54

go that way it's so easy it's a rare thing cuz brands are just going directly

  • 2:23:59

to quote-unquote influencers and not getting Instagram involved which is trying to grow their ad space so when

  • 2:24:05

you cut out the insights that's how influencers quote-unquote are making their money they're showing these brands I have this much traffic when I

  • 2:24:12

post something so if you get rid of insights and you get rid of the actual like you can see this is the question

  • 2:24:17

they're gonna get rid of people with public you know whatever well that was an x-point ages that was my next point do we or is it going to keep the

  • 2:24:23

insights even though I can't see my likes will I get my insights yes yeah you will

  • 2:24:29

know what I'll say is so what so what

  • 2:24:35

that means nothing I've seen a few people say that I saw I saw a few comments or say this change is nothing

  • 2:24:42

because you still have access to your analytics the public the viewing public does not hey guess what dick

  • 2:24:51

if the viewing public can't see the analytics and only I can't that means

  • 2:24:56

for someone else to see it I have to show it to them so now you're relying on

  • 2:25:02

some lesser-known tastemakers maybe or some popular ones to have to show to

  • 2:25:09

pitch their analytics to you to brands rather than brands being interested in

  • 2:25:15

you clicking to see how interested in you they can be and then reaching out to you that is the dumbest thing I've ever

  • 2:25:22

heard in the [ __ ] world I'm not that stupid to think that that's what y'all are doing it's not an equivalent it's

  • 2:25:28

not a it's not a uh a safety net you can see your analytics so your business

  • 2:25:33

won't be affected hey don't be afraid did this in Canada months ago nothing has changed [ __ ] I'm in Astoria no

  • 2:25:43

it'll certainly be affected but I mean if if you have those relationships already with brands yeah all right you

  • 2:25:48

may be able to still cook with it and be like all right what it is that was the other stupid thing they said to me Joe

  • 2:25:54

you can't expect regular people to care about these celebrity problems hey [ __ ]

  • 2:26:01

I'm talking to regular people Joe is

  • 2:26:07

never talking for the celebrity celebrities well this isn't so much

  • 2:26:13

celebrity it is the people that the people and drive off Instagram Dapitan I'm speaking for the people that work

  • 2:26:21

from home in a basement and because you're brilliant you're able to become a millionaire faster than your parents

  • 2:26:28

were there stripping you of that ability the monopoly is monopolizing more yeah

  • 2:26:36

no they're taking brands to have to go directly to Instagram to want to advertise something that's all it is which is awesome because US minions down

  • 2:26:43

    here on earth don't know [ __ ] about [ __ ] and they won't tell us [ __ ] about [ __ ] no why because we like [ __ ] pictures

  • 2:26:50

whoa oh I like pictures whoa pictures are awesome guess what if there were any

  • 2:26:57

unification it could work we would see different results like in my

  • 2:27:04

in my ascension in business the ascension only happened because I said no to a bunch of [ __ ] that I probably

  • 2:27:10

shouldn't have said no to I didn't want to say no to at the time but had to view the long the long road instead of the

  • 2:27:16

short row you got to say no to get somewhere I say that to say if there were just one day where everybody

  • 2:27:23

deleted their Instagram don't don't be alarmed the celebrity trick is you can

  • 2:27:31

get it right back in less than 30 days none of your dad has lost you can get it

  • 2:27:36

right back everything your followers don't don't fret if everybody deleted

  • 2:27:43

their Instagram for a day nationwide blackout no more Instagram no more

  • 2:27:48

Facebook to show you the power of the consumer when there is unification what

  • 2:27:55

are you selling then Instagram to who you know run [ __ ] we do well you have to

  • 2:28:05

know that for us to do that take that Adam know that it's fun to do that

  • 2:28:11

    listen I could say good bye to Instagram in a heartbeat I don't give a [ __ ] about pictures I don't give a [ __ ] about

  • 2:28:17

vanity and I've never been the shallowest of men I hate looking at

  • 2:28:23

myself and I hate y'all looking at me [ __ ] pictures right so then we need

  • 2:28:28

somewhere else to go because that's how this world works somebody hit me I think

  • 2:28:34

I might have been in and said hey buddy get tit talk right now that's it about to be over with hey guess what because

  • 2:28:40

I'm old I never got on tick-tock but but because I'm old I've also done know if you're

  • 2:28:47

old enough you've done the wave-riding of oh I can see this app about to die and I could see this next one coming up

  • 2:28:52

any hot ones I never got tick-tock but when Ian said that to me it disturbed me because I'm saying what I'm saying about

  • 2:29:00

Instagram and Facebook's not home by us Ian's hitting me about tick tock guess

  • 2:29:06

what tick tock is the way most people get a record deals and their visibility they guess was owned by us now owned by us I

  • 2:29:13

came in here a few weeks ago and told you our long story about the baby shark [ __ ] and ever came up with that stall he's

  • 2:29:19

probably making X amount of dollars and if y'all at home and y'all trying to come up with a hook for club something else to stop that because the money is

  • 2:29:24

in digital baby [ __ ] I said that too two days later article comes out yesterday Bloomberg article comes out

  • 2:29:30

hey baby shark news mate X amount of dollars guess what Dana the labels daddy

  • 2:29:40

everywhere you [ __ ] turn none of it is us no why no unification true that is

  • 2:29:50

the end of Jaws rent because people think I'm crazy when I rent I just observed a few things I'm passionate

  • 2:29:55

about a few things so I'm disturbed by a few things and man man if we just had like a head of

  • 2:30:02

roundtable or like a head of some type of some type o y'all know what I'm a

  • 2:30:08

union listen I've been having union talks and a pull up for years at least

  • 2:30:13

two years now if there was some way to take control of this we could do so much

  • 2:30:21

[ __ ] if we were aware of our power why do we let people that do not own any of

  • 2:30:27

the cultural real estate come in and dictate the rules in cultural real estate

  • 2:30:32

none of y'all [ __ ] like 360 uh deals some of y'all do but the vast majority

  • 2:30:38

hate 360 deals I bring that up to say I bring that up to say why do we continue

  • 2:30:44

to let them make the rules that are standard for us and we don't get to make

  • 2:30:50

standard rules what y'all think we're not creative enough to think of some I cried on my

  • 2:30:56

shoulder all that Beastie Boys day life stole whatever the [ __ ] it was whoever didn't get paid I cried over that [ __ ]

  • 2:31:03

    that's how invested I am in this [ __ ] who the [ __ ] says that what's today

  • 2:31:09

Wednesday that every artist side from this point on shouldn't fight for 1% of

  • 2:31:17

everything to go to every predecessor before us why we can't do that

  • 2:31:24

[ __ ] no unification you just said it why shouldn't there be a fund

  • 2:31:29

[Music] the [ __ ] NFL players fought for it

  • 2:31:35

the college players fought for it with all that O'Bannon brothers [ __ ] how

  • 2:31:41

come everybody can fight for it but artists when I speak this way and y'all are quiet because I got my passion and

  • 2:31:47

voice on it sounds like I'm mad I'm not mad you just really like likes and you

  • 2:31:54

want to be like a question for you and I

  • 2:32:20

want to drag it too far but I'll plate that was advocate just to further your point on what if I'm someone that

  • 2:32:27

doesn't stand to make any money off this why should I care about the unification

  • 2:32:32

you should tribute if you're someone that doesn't stand I'm just just for

  • 2:32:40

example when you're saying every Wednesday everyone goes dark on their Instagram for a day to show what it

  • 2:32:45

would do let's just say I'm just somebody that I just go to work every day I like

  • 2:32:50

Instagram my posts you're not so sir you're just not sunset it's just come on you know why why do I care about

  • 2:33:00

unifying with it the opportunity okay and just being a part of something that can change many other things the

  • 2:33:07

opportunity and hope that's why most of my speech is geared toward the creators

  • 2:33:12

because creators the ones of y'all that have to go out and work into your into

  • 2:33:17

your pockets and your vision online or until something is aligned like you're

  • 2:33:22

doing it for the opportunity because today the road to being a millionaire is

  • 2:33:29

a lot more fathomable than it was in previous decades for sure and if you're

  • 2:33:35

getting up and going to work every day and not talking back to that the

  • 2:33:40

infamous Damon Dash of Breakfast Club interview but that is how I divide the world the

  • 2:33:46

people that need the comfortability and the stability of working for someone and

  • 2:33:51

the people who don't period oh and the

  • 2:33:57

people that make the to align it all all three relative yeah yeah so I'm speaking

  • 2:34:04

to those people the people that are going to work every day but have a side

  • 2:34:10

hustle a passion or something they're working on at home that they hope in the future will take them to a different

  • 2:34:16

space they don't have to see it right now because if you don't see it you sad you're angry you imagine depressed you

  • 2:34:23

whatever you gone through you may not be down with the unification of the Digital democracy blackout that I'm speaking

  • 2:34:29

about but if you are unfortunately enough for the creators if we start just

  • 2:34:36

recognizing our power we outnumber them we outnumber them one dude ain't coming

  • 2:34:45

up to me and my 10 friends and jumping me it's just not gonna happen

  • 2:34:51

and in end of my rant because this is a mistake rent I didn't mean to be on this

  • 2:34:57

rent but necessary but the optics of what they are doing with the things that

  • 2:35:03

we deem necessary today is nasty and

  • 2:35:08

let's not forget back to that [ __ ] of parks were saying earlier I would

  • 2:35:13

maybe roll this is Facebook we're talking about yeah but I think that they

  • 2:35:18

don't have to say it would I think that they the more that people post on their

  • 2:35:23

[ __ ] to more money they can get from sponsors by putting the eddie bauer ads in the middle of your [ __ ] timeline well part of more of us we're getting

  • 2:35:31

the money we would post it more okay i know they can also monitor how much you're on instagram and still seeing

  • 2:35:38

those ads rather than what you're posting it's you're still just as valuable if you're not posting and looking for ads further than that the

  • 2:35:45

likes today that that they give you are distributed by them okay it's all

  • 2:35:53

controlled it's all an illusion why that illusion is happening I'm not

  • 2:35:58

that bright dr. Joe Rogan I don't know I don't know but it's happening and that's it that's all I got

  • 2:36:04

what else is out what else is super important here you guys smoke that man Thanks so do you buddy

  • 2:36:09

no that was I'm sort of got a job what Oh support me oh come on what else we got

  • 2:36:16

I didn't want to interrupt you was killing it but that can come off is not sport or support no supporting and that

  • 2:36:21

tried to go in like a question even though I was riding with you poor you be right with you Joe we needed um I think

  • 2:36:33

it's kind of sad news time which I don't know if I want to get into was a sad news time all right

  • 2:36:39

I'll cue up outstanding one of y'all will talk about lil Reese uh well a few hours ago since we're recording this on

  • 2:36:45

Tuesday night little Reese was shot in his car which I think was in the suburbs of the outskirts of Chicago shot in his

  • 2:36:52

neck and is in critical condition at the moment they haven't really given much details of it I know he went to a

  • 2:36:58

hospital that couldn't treat his wounds to the degree they needed to be treated he went to another hospital and the last

  • 2:37:05

we got he was in critical condition but again him being in the outskirts you

  • 2:37:10

know to me this looks like it was certainly a setup or people that had been following him you know I don't think this was a random act so pray

  • 2:37:18

prayers for little Reese man for sure prayers for Louise hope he recovers hope he is well yes a horrible horrible story

  • 2:37:26

more sad news write recipes to badass shows from yeah West Coast that one hurt

  • 2:37:33

me to beat you yeah that one hurt me rest in peace to badass how did he die

  • 2:37:40

do we know he died in jail I guess some health complications um we revealed to

  • 2:37:45

my knowledge health complications got it do you want to get into this this Clark Atlanta thing I know I know you've been

  • 2:37:52

following it a little bit more than than I have Alexis Crawford it's not much to

  • 2:37:58

say here on e on these stories that uh that are just sad and disheartening

  • 2:38:06

Alexis Crawford is the college student the Atlanta college student who got into

  • 2:38:11

an altercation with her roommate and was murdered more details came out about that today

  • 2:38:19

which said that what did they say uh that it said that she got in a fight

  • 2:38:25

with her roommate at college a physical altercation and the roommate called her

  • 2:38:32

boyfriend later that night and what it says is the young lady choked her

  • 2:38:37

roommate and the boyfriend disposed of the body and a large green canister the

  • 2:38:43

body was found he choked at her death she didn't show okay

  • 2:38:49

he choked her to death then well what I read earlier still said he disposed of

  • 2:38:55

the body I'm not I'm not sure but the young lady was murdered the body was found

  • 2:39:01

the young this young lady and her boyfriend have been charged what were the charges murder yeah I mean I just

  • 2:39:09

want to me I just want to make sure yeah yeah yeah yeah most always a murder if they didn't say what I'm sayin held

  • 2:39:14

without bond at Fulton County Jail attorneys for Jones and Brantley did not respond ABC News for Collins not the

  • 2:39:20

first altercation between Crawford and Brantley according to police five days before her death Crawford found a police

  • 2:39:27

report against Brantley alleging unwanted kissing and touching touching however you want to chop this up this is

  • 2:39:34

a super sad story there are pictures floating around of this young lady and

  • 2:39:39

her killer or accomplished killer I don't know what you call that yeah but

  • 2:39:45

that's always super sad when you see people in pictures with you the person that ends up murdering them well I mean

  • 2:39:50

the sad thing is as much as a positive environment colleges is painted too and

  • 2:39:56

while in life of course you're always surrounded by people you don't know college you're kind of thrown into

  • 2:40:01

really close quarters with people from a bunch of different walks of life that you know nothing about it's true and

  • 2:40:08

you're forced to be in the same room with a complete stranger and it can be

  • 2:40:14

very unsafe you get to choose your no no no I mean maybe I'm talking over the

  • 2:40:21

college I uh no not really I mean sure if you have

  • 2:40:27

an issue or something you can get moved on yeah which which actually happens very often I'm sure um very often where people just

  • 2:40:33

do not get along and they they switch roommates but no you don't walk in and and it's not like there's some vetting

  • 2:40:40

process where you get to know them over the summer before y'all literally sleep next to each other but it's yeah it's

  • 2:40:47

something that's not really brought up in how unsafe College can be as far as being so close to people that you do not

  • 2:40:53

know mm-hmm but a very sad situation 100% man Prius their family I can't

  • 2:41:00

imagine what you're going through just uh just head on on the board

  • 2:41:18

I got a start just writing down some of my genius ideas from the podcast and

  • 2:41:24

mailing them to myself so that they are copy written a few months ago I said

  • 2:41:31

some [ __ ] to y'all in this podcast everybody laughed me out the room like they normally do a few months later I

  • 2:41:38

see my invention just take Horsham streets damn it's of course it's a

  • 2:41:44

  • 2:41:55

  • 2:42:05

  • 2:42:12

the plane the game ignored Pat Riley called he dubbed um what happened but

  • 2:42:27

you had to crumble and Julius Randle you

  • 2:42:34

just get some [ __ ] gummy worms in a cigarette cellophane you should have an

  • 2:42:39

    idea that doesn't have regular gummy what else I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know if

  • 2:42:45

he knew either yeah I don't know if he knows usually yes medically you don't know listen first of all you gotta

  • 2:42:51

remember he's on NBA team right [ __ ] like to play jokes pranks all types I know I should go so now I this is still

  • 2:42:58

funny to me he had a panic attack on the plane and whatever offer some gummy bears some edibles but if he didn't know

  • 2:43:05

that's not funny now if he just knew it was sitting me a popping them shits and just then it's like oh you idiot listen

  • 2:43:17

  • 2:45:14

Florida State did it I guess a ceremonial type of thing they passed a the right for felons to vote last year I

  • 2:45:23

believe it was but 18 former felons did it like in a courtroom type of setting

  • 2:45:28

with John Legend was there though but is dope John Legend would be did he would be they have in common but there's a lot

  • 2:45:37

of states with varying degrees of felony voting [ __ ] so it's important people shouldn't be allowed to vote after they

  • 2:45:43

you know have a felony get back into society please yeah there's some new

  • 2:45:49

iPhone pictures coming up the fourth camera but yeah they added a fourth cam
