was wow this is a lot of records yeah

took me all day to get through one

it's a lot there it could be cut down to

12 easily Wayne Wayne sounded much

better than I thought he would

production is yeah to me but Wayne

sounds good Wayne sounds alright it's

just too much music way too much music

could have cut it down there wasn't a

whole lot of solo so I could like

gravitate to

is him rapping a lot it's a lot rapping

I didn't hear ya but about its ominous

this podcast this is the hardened record

this is my favorite on there yeah it's

just a standout his record is hard this

sounds like some that will be on the

drum this is hardened off off the little

Wayne album

yeah I love the zone yeah that that was

my favorite level off the one listen I

think Wayne now because Wayne sounds

fine is rapping sounds fine it doesn't

sound like he's washed or shouldn't be

rapping I think this is the first time

in Wayne's career he needs someone in

the studio with him you've ever heard I

think he needs to be produced now yeah

at least executive producer of some sort

he needs to have another person in there

structuring what he's trying to do

taking his thoughts and telling them I

this may not be it let's put it this way

because his whole career from my

understanding I've never been in a

studio with him from what I've heard and

seen Wayne gets in there and does

everything damn near by himself that's

why he's such a genius I think now he's

at the point in his career we need

someone in there needs to really not be

a genius no you can just at some point

yeah like you just need how long is the

career been sometimes you need some

change yeah and I think getting in with

somebody to really put the project

together I don't think if you're in

there with someone they're saying let's

let's put out 24 of these I just don't

oh really and I think he sounds fine

it's not a knock to him he personally

sounds just like Wayne on this just

thinking needs someone in there with

what label is this our released under

it's a good question I don't know scroll

up it should be up at the top I have a

young money Republic polka I haven't

heard the entire album I've only heard

probably half of it no I just wanted to

say that oh because I would like to hear

him and maybe fresh to love me too me

too for sure yeah but if I'm waning and

I'm we in the studio with my whoever you

have in there to help me or produce me

and they say yo you should put out 13

and I say no I want to put out 20 for it

then what somebody trusts someone

someone that he wants to work with yeah

you know I'm this is all hypothetical

Joe that's just just me hearing all 24

tracks had me thinking alright if he got

in there with a man II fresher so many

trusts someone whose ear he knows isn't

gonna [ __ ] his [ __ ] up but what if this

is exactly cuz I think wanted to do I'm

sure

oh yeah I'm sure it is I don't think

Wayne's ever doing anything that Wayne

doesn't want to do that's why we love

Wayne I think that these artists put out

so many uh so many tracks because they

know that people create their own

playlists now

I think that they're just giving people

a bunch of Records in human pull to

their own playlist yes yes nobody's

gonna see you playing this entire album

from for me it's hard to even do that

talks it's too much to weed through yeah

like I think that's what these artists

are doing they're hoping that people

grab six or seven eight records from a

20 track project and just playlist it I

think the big thing took a game that's a

crystal ball I want to know when forty

year olds listen to music

after they drop their kids off we talked

about oh well your net for Tia neither

is mall I can see yeah are you sure Joe

it's been forty for about seven years as

you though I'm dumb about the other 40

year old healthier like I think you

listen to music you gonna work working

out at the gym from where it's really

segmented now right kinda why won't we

admit it nobody ever hear anybody say

that and I think that's that's why we

like let's gotta listen to what the

young people were saying cuz the other

one was the music even young people

create now on playlist though everybody

has is a playlist like you have a

players we work out we home chilling you

know dinner

you put a project out and how many years

yeah not that long ago although there

was a lot of old song so that was

certainly a lot of it was 2018 a little

quiz when the court of five came and I

like to quarter five also too long

very much so I think the car to five

felt a bit a little bit more produced as

an album than than this record there's

more songs that were songs yeah yeah

yeah this is a lot of just rapping but

again I didn't go in this with

expectations of high like Wayne is only

focusing on this and his life right now

and this is Wayne can't wait to put this

out I think I think Wayne wanted to put

music out and Wayne put music out it

felt like a mixtape a little bit to me

hardened record that Joe just played was

by for my favorite iron that [ __ ] as

well I heard a few records on there that

sound like alright I'm gonna say it like

they could go its way you can never

count Wayne oh yeah and Wayne sounds

great

he's the architect of the sound that his

pop

No so it's not he's their Lord and

Savior yeah yeah I'm not really gonna

judge this project that I've half

halfway heard because it just came out

um but it really is good to hear from

Wayne for sure always and with with the

recent uh Kobe passing like I just

appreciate some people differently today

like and Wayne as plain as one of those

people for me I'm with you a hundred

percent on it

absolutely yeah I'm gonna live with it

for the weekend is Josie uh did yoga the

chance to see him on our drink champs I

saw I saw some clips I didn't get a

chance to watch the full thing before we

get in into that I'll just ask it is it

not odd to anyone that we haven't had a

Wayne Drake song since whatever that

song was no it's a little odd no no it's

not weird to me at all either well why

not uh I just don't think they're both

in the space in their career where

they're living in studios with a bunch

of artists and they're all in the same

cities I think they're kind of both

living their lives

so each other cool you can have a blast

doing that words in my mouth I just

don't think that well that's you're

playing it safe thing not just do I

think they're been in two separate parts

of the world I don't think they want to

create music via email created with I

don't know what Louis whistles on this

out okay I mean like do any of his

superstar super Nikki your Drake is what

on Empire I don't find it weird

I don't either okay I think it's a

little weird but I don't think there's a

deeper darker yeah I mean I'm not I'm

either I would like to hear but it does

loose as he is with the verses and as

much as they love one another and

respect one another and and the

relationship I'm sure it's still intact

just like to know why it's it's curious

because they certainly could end up in

the same place pretty easily yeah and I

mean might be their last record that

they did together what was that uh

believe me know had even one after that

that was probably their biggest one

their last big single together

but that couldn't believe on what

project I think Wayne's that was that

was on I'm a Martian I'm a Martian album

the rock album no wasn't a rock one is

the Martian one 2017 that makes it more

weird by the way I think that was an

email record that was an email email

record but that makes them well weird

alright so we have heard you with uh

Nicki but it doesn't matter I don't want

to make a thing out I was just asking if

on the clips I saw he looks comfortable

and if you've seen any Wayne interview

ever he has no interest being there you

ever so the fact that Wayne looks so

comfortable in this this interview

speaks highly of affinity and Noorie on

this so yeah I'm gonna check out the

whole thing I just I'm in look at its

time yet look at it look at his skin it

looks good

I hope he's not really doing coding and

adderall's together or whatever he was

coherent he sounded a weary and to know

many of these these artists that that's

just a comfortable environment for them

I gave it a breeze through it sounds

all reactions to albums that I breezed

through it's not there but yo God he

came out heard it was great Russ came

out I saw a lot of good reactions from

people that I've never seen speak highly

of Russ okay

so that's what I took from it guys so

it's a little too poppy for my personal

taste but it's quality music so Russ is

pop here's a little I've never really

got that for a little bit well he argue

for sure he's singing a lot on this
