the funny thing about that is sometimes I'd be liking the [ __ ] up belly button that's your thing like if it's [ __ ] up
- 0:10
the right way I don't mind the [ __ ] up belly it'd be when the nipples are
- 0:15
cross-eyed that's when I'm like come on you could have paid the extra 1,500 to
- 0:20
get the nipples to face maples yeah oh you went straight to the Mountain Dew rack if you get surgery in my body
- 0:38
shaming you or my surgery shaming you it's her body okay I just want to know
- 0:45
that I was starting with praise for the [ __ ] the belly buttons and I was just
- 0:50
trying to figure out what I was going to so I'm starting with praise because a lot a lot of times the chicks are more self-conscious about their belly button
- 0:57
and I am okay like every band X should
- 1:02
not be up to your ribs just weird right next I'm high net [ __ ] man I love you baby self-conscious about balance women
- 1:19
as narcissistic as y'all say I am I gotta get more into my talk some [ __ ] bag I don't ever feel like I don't

- 2:32
that nobody wants to told him I just copped 12 new one nice I've never seen this dream ones so that's one of the
- 2:37
twelve the hunter green the hunter green is my favorite yeah when she comes in hunter green I'm a cop I know hunter green looks good with like
- 2:44
redheads can't wear yellow orange we can't wear anything bright like I have a very limited earth color tone that I could get hunter green though that's
- 2:51
your bag oh good you know I'm doing someone I've hunted group oh I should go to color what's the color that they'd be
- 2:57
like wow you look good in this ski mask

they're white socks more they're Gucci Oh tell anyone there they look like
- 3:28
Egyptian cotton cotton you throwing the Gucci and the first socks that were on
- 3:34
the top I feel a little bumpy because
- 3:42
usually I only wear the Gucci socks with the Gucci sneakers I don't like to mix brands like that that was raised like Ross you know these young kids whether
- 3:49
you deed his pants through the Jordans I would that's not my Erin ah I like to match all the brands I feel like you called me out it's Rory wearing Gucci
- 3:56
socks a change more subtle subtle change so your answer is yes parks
- 4:03
let's change okay Joe anything that's not gross you can't see we thought I'm
- 4:11
not mad at the Gucci silky gay man pulled his whole sweat pant leg he did a
- 4:16

- 6:31
don't throw don't do this to me in this time underneath the no gang welcome to
- 6:39
episode 324 of the Joe Budden podcast I'm your humble gracious grateful highly favored a narcissistic host Joe button
- 6:46
here with a few of my nearest and dearest friends Maul is here oh and I challenge that by the way at that narcissism schooler know I looked it up
- 6:55
and it's when you have a narcissistic and it's it's when you have an overvalued view of yourself like a god
- 7:02
complex now I'm really guys so I was about to
- 7:08
ask you what about that definition did you not agree with until you said you were actually God yo you interview wale
- 7:19
and Big Sean back-to-back and this is how you feel I'm God body we need to have a serious talk I'm God body roar I
- 7:26
get it you talked to someone on a red camera yo shout out on Spotify
- 7:37
listenership our YouTube viewer ship shoutout to our first and last time listeners shout out told you clickbait
- 7:42
[ __ ] to got hear from a meme or some [ __ ] and if you take [ __ ] personal this podcast is not for you hit the door no
- 7:48
it still is no it's not it's not that's what the problem about a definition of narcissistic said treatment can help but
- 7:55
can't be cured can get you herpes that's
- 8:05
big facts I myself I'm a selfish narcissist we use ours most narcissus
- 8:11
selfish steward aggressive selfless selfless narcissus no because I know we
- 8:18
here for the jokes and I know that we can probably make a good case that I am indeed a narcissist I can also make a
- 8:24
case that I am for everyone else before I am myself we're in the room
- 8:37
oh you want everybody to win he was mad as [ __ ] Elliott had that Drake interview
- 8:53
[Laughter]
- 9:03
my brother just called me this morning he told me that he got party his [ __ ] publishing deal I'm sorry I was like how
- 9:10
did I not know tit wait hold on your brother stole party's publishing no he got him his publishing to a warship so
- 9:15
he took it oh so y'all know me too he
- 9:21
thought I knew that he was like I listen see how talking apart I'm powder and you never mentioned it I was like [ __ ] I didn't know that you may have the road
- 9:27
in the party mobile no mobile share he
- 9:36
was in the / group moving the party buses was a thing I was gonna say out my
- 9:42
brother just got on one in Newark it's a
- 9:49
mobile STD yeah that's the word yeah Shawn sold to a girl and they keep hitting potholes yeah [ __ ] all over the
- 9:57
place how you break the touch barrier oh [ __ ] it's fine when all the fine girls
- 10:04
is Trey Songz video pulled off on the party bus and we hooted off on our bikes
- 10:11
you guys have changed who was on the handlebars exactly on the pegs try to
- 10:19
park them just behind the tree so he wouldn't see how we pulled up you know I
- 10:25
can just picture Joe like a man [ __ ] in [ __ ] hide our
- 10:33
scooty bikes oh damn they get you around
- 10:38
we have changed we have indeed changed how's everybody feeling man how y'all doing rough week y'all are real dough by
- 10:44
the way for taking those little scooty bikes off South Beach you only real if you take that all the way through Miami
- 10:50
cross bridges and all that about five years ago I saw ice on 95 on one of them
- 10:56
shits true story no we was all the same
- 11:02
place and we was like yeah we're gonna take an uber he's like no I got this bike wheel a bicycle we laugh now that
- 11:08
you know the [ __ ] on the highway pedaling is crazy I've seen people take a mean dive on
- 11:15
them little scooty bikes yeah I get snatched like a bit when you trying to be Highway man would have hidden bleep like break his leg on that [ __ ] I don't
- 11:22
know that much about bleeps life okay tell me though no I think that's why the oblique and from what I heard the bleak
- 11:28
and beans album never happened because he broke his leg in Miami and had to record in Miami on one of those bikes no
- 11:34
you drop it to you right new record the bike in a cast now I think that's what I
- 11:45
heard why that album never happened cuz he was supposed to go back to New York to do that album and ended up doing a solo album in Miami cuz he couldn't
- 11:51
leave all right well you got better I've seen him at the brunch I'll still take a
- 11:58
beans and leak out old head ass um what's up y'all chillin it's been a busy
- 12:06
week man you were there yeah what happened last year well parks are talking about it the
- 12:12
actual work week yeah but yep book is busy these guys I'm glad you
- 12:18
could fit a mall and I in your schedule you too yeah we'll get out of your way
- 12:23
in a minute yeah you got a a pull-up with currency tonight like we can end this now laughing it a pull-up currency
- 12:39
I'm gonna feel silly we'll do it at the Bourbon restaurant in 46th Street no
- 12:44
just just trying to make it feel like you at home bro make yourself at home
- 12:53
mm-hmm George doesn't make people feel at home when he's old no he doesn't I can't believe them all try to argue I
- 12:58
don't want better for others than I do myself I'm not giving the list name one
- 13:10
Lex Trey yeah
- 13:16
any who's all right fine list it's cool parks has been chillin that's right
- 13:22
malls been chillin what more can I say come on Ellen no I see cuz the song been
- 13:27
a long week I was gonna call more when I when I got the news that pop died but then I I don't want to make it like
- 13:33
mushy so I didn't call okay what made you immediately think of more because
- 13:40
more put me on a possible okay oh that's right yeah yeah that was the first one ever prop smoke was from Mall yeah so I
- 13:48
thought of mall yeah yeah that makes sense I hate that waking up to that was very very unfortunate man I
- 13:55
really I really broke my heart man so young man you got I think I got an odd nephews older than pops
- 14:00
mmm you know I mean so it's like to me that's all I could think about was like damn like you know you look at the you
- 14:07
know the music to the music you see the videos the cause the jury and all that it's like but underneath all of that is
- 14:13
a 20 year old kid and it's just unfortunate that we I think we've become numb to this type of [ __ ] honestly like
- 14:19
I'm seeing the way people are talking right after it happened it's like nobody even really you know I mean like really
- 14:25
gives a [ __ ] it's like kind of business as usual almost and I said man because
- 14:30
it's a twenty year old kid he had his whole life ahead of him I think he had a lot of talent I think he was very unique
- 14:38
you know the sound that he was a making popular it was very important I hope
- 14:44
that that someone else another artist comes and picks up and keeps pushing that sound because I think that is a
- 14:50
a very good sound for the next generation to kind of you know make relevant and make popular but it's just
- 14:56
unfortunate man it's very unfortunate it I really broke my heart to read that he was killed like that and you know
- 15:02
prayers and condolences to the family but the very heartbreaking even you know it's again will will be here again
- 15:09
unfortunately and that's done fortunate part about it is that this isn't gonna be the last time and something has to
- 15:16
change I don't know speaking on platforms is gonna do it I think we need more actionable items I think we need a
- 15:22
lot of the people that we look up to and um there are in these positions to
- 15:28
really really make effective changes really like seriously affected because
- 15:33
this is this is bad this is this is getting really really to a point of very
- 15:38
depressing you don't know who to trust you don't want to go outside you know you know you almost don't want to be
- 15:45
recognizable anymore you know I'm saying because you just you just never know everybody's so accessible these days and
- 15:51
information is so accessible you think here's a kid that's from you know a tough neighborhood in Canarsie you out
- 15:57
in Hollywood Hills nice weather nice house pool you know you thinking that you away from the danger zone and
- 16:03
something like this happens so is it's just unfortunate man and we need to we need to really do something about it as a as a community as an an as a culture
- 16:10
couldn't agree more couldn't agree more gentlemen ya know a per usual mall kills these things and I
- 16:17
typically don't have anything to say after cuz he's so good at this yeah I guess outside of that I kind of wish you
- 16:26
Instagram investigators would give it a [ __ ] rest and shut the [ __ ] up for a
- 16:31
change yeah I felt really bad for his friend I don't know if you saw his Instagram comments the moment it
- 16:38
happened all they were saying was you set up your friend you got your friend killed you killed your friend like I
- 16:44
thought it was Nast like can y'all just shut the [ __ ] up for a second right yo you changed your caption you set him up
- 16:50
like shut the [ __ ] up trying to [ __ ] solve a case a minute afterwards from
- 16:55
your keyboard shut up yeah like I felt really bad for his crew outside of the
- 17:01
obvious that they had to deal with that [ __ ] too yeah mm-hmm yeah oh
- 17:09
Safa is fans sad for just all the people that he was able to touch in his short
- 17:16
time here sad for the music industry this is a loss on all of us yeah
- 17:23
especially in New York I feel like he was revolutionising a new sound which is
- 17:28
not something that New York has been a part of in a long time yeah and I've said it wasn't borrowed from other you know areas UK Chicago
- 17:35
drill stuff but of course but between him and everyone in Brooklyn it felt
- 17:41
like New York had some energy some real energy again yeah and when working with
- 17:48
other regions too to see the day he passed yo I got five records done with
- 17:53
quavo today like [ __ ] yeah and it for me
- 18:00
it for me it's not lost on me that the New York artists continue to find themselves in this position or if not
- 18:07
this position just a position to take them away from us from Stax I mean out
- 18:16
stacked to chinks shmurda rowdy takashi even yeah you still have
- 18:25
to throw it Kashi's some degree yeah like i don't know what we can do but I
- 18:31
mean it hits me more it's me more because all of these people that I'm
- 18:37
naming were young kids in New York like stack [ __ ] me up a little more cuz I
- 18:43
had you know that was my guy guy and we talked every day so I knew where he was
- 18:49
trying to take it yeah like he wasn't playing and when you see this error here
- 18:55
the era of hip hop that when it hurts more because I believe that this is the
- 19:00
exact era stack would have thrived in Zosia when you see some of these other kids like when you see chinks right as
- 19:07
he gets to pop in have that happen murder like all of these it's like right
- 19:13
when it right when we get in there so just as a grave effect on me man and
- 19:20
unfortunately I do agree with Whitmore like it started it's it's it's happened so much
- 19:25
not that I'm desensitized to it because they all affect me they all affect me
- 19:31
like like I lost a distant family member but yeah it did kind of feel like the
- 19:39
temperature out there was was I want to
- 19:44
pick my word words right here didn't seem heavy as long as I expected
- 19:52
it to mmm you know desensitized way business as
- 19:57
usual and I used that to say that people were like [ __ ] this happened again in
- 20:03
Conor was like alright well we got to pick it back up we've been through this now without what I will ask y'all and I
- 20:13
don't like defective teams he had that video of him change myself every needs
- 20:24
to see that yeah like I just don't understand certain [ __ ] man like you don't need to put [ __ ] like that like that he has a family as a mother like
- 20:31
you you don't need to put these images out for people to click on your website
- 20:37
and that's where deep thinking just just plagues me because the Warner owns TMZ
- 20:44
right yeah warner owns TMZ so it's like
- 20:56
no just just just the thought that that video will come up and his family I see
- 21:01
that you would think that somebody that's in the music business the still roars great quote we'll just have a
- 21:08
little more care for things in the music business but I mean every time this
- 21:16
happens I gotta come in here Ian are you [ __ ] kidding me
- 21:23
every time this [ __ ] happens we gotta come in here and say we don't like how
- 21:29
we don't like the style the approach used by for lack of a better term them
- 21:38
like why do they I don't like I don't like them breaking this [ __ ] I don't and I might be stuck on them on a moot point
- 21:43
oh no oh just told me that but I don't like it it's nasty and alright let's even go with you breaking it and
- 21:51
families were notified and all that and they'll say we have a job to do we gotta do this let's shoot them some bail there
- 21:58
why are you posting a video of him being resuscitated and CPR happening in the
- 22:03
back of an ambulance what on earth does that have to do with anything or like you break it and and all I'm thinking is
- 22:09
his mother lives in New York she has to go to LA you know along that [ __ ] flight is you know long is to sit on a
- 22:16
plane with a dead loved one let alone your son on the other side and you're posting a [ __ ] video of him CPR and
- 22:24
an ambulance the [ __ ] is wrong with you everything don't have to be news or we
- 22:30
don't have to be privy to everything know everything isn't content I don't want to make TMZ to focus here even
- 22:37
though you're right back to what I was trying to say earlier do you think the do you think the the what did I just say
- 22:49
the [ __ ] on the heaviness left quickly is that what I said something
- 22:55
that felt that way I want to avoid speech I want to be sensitive to this you know you know it's still a thing of
- 23:01
this is not distort their stories familiar we've seen this before we've seen this plenty of times like you said
- 23:06
is so it's almost normalized and people you know for a minute well you know people to pay respects and you know
- 23:12
everybody will talk about it but then it's like thirty minutes later you know it's back to posting memes and and not
- 23:18
saying that people have to be mourning all day and be depressed and that's not what I'm saying but it's just like you
- 23:24
you look at it becomes a feeling like nobody really cares like you start to
- 23:30
get that feeling like people don't really care you know I mean like people want to seem like they care and they
- 23:35
might care for a moment but it's just like out your life life goes forward as it as it always will but
- 23:41
it's like you know through tragedy and stuff like this it has to be a point where we stop and we say you know we
- 23:48
have to do some this has to stop this has to end and it's like growing up you know I've I lived through the park and
- 23:54
the big thing like I was a youngin but even then it was like for me it was like damn like they're dead and now it's like
- 24:03
these young dudes now is they're dying so whether it's from drugs or violence or you know getting locked up for a
- 24:09
bunch of years it's like this [ __ ] is almost like a part of the routine now to me that's a major [ __ ] problem
- 24:17
because you have literally the world in your hands now you have access to so much you can be doing so much you can be
- 24:23
putting your art out into the world and create and you have so many opportunities like you know it shouldn't
- 24:28
be we shouldn't still be fighting the same battles of you know staying out of prison and not being killed by each
- 24:35
other like it does it just doesn't make any sense to me um what do you guys think about the
- 24:41
details that have been released and again nothing is confirmed and they're still being released and the
- 24:47
investigation is still under way but the rumored reports of him having a party in
- 24:54
the hours before their alleged report so they're actually being witnesses present
- 25:00
when this took place I've read some that said that the actual call came in from
- 25:06
New York yeah um what do you think about any of this well I mean I saw a lot of
- 25:13
people and I had conversation with my friends about that being odd like why did the report come from New York and
- 25:19
this was just my theory thinking that maybe somebody was on FaceTime with a chick or somebody back home and the home
- 25:25
invasion happened and maybe their phone dropped or maybe noise happened and that person immediately called the cops so a
- 25:32
lot of weird conspiracy [ __ ] about that and I was like no I think I think someone was probably just on the phone and the [ __ ] happened and the phone was
- 25:40
still on the hook and they called was like all right something is wrong over there I'm calling the police yeah so I don't think that that was some
- 25:48
New York conspirator see that other people are running with at the time well we don't know yeah but
- 25:58
I think that would make more sense to me rather than I mean it's always you
- 26:04
people always have theories and conspiracies and sometimes it's just as simple as you know people knew that this
- 26:11
dude was in this house it was money and it was jury in there and you know again
- 26:16
it's a lot of it's a lot of hate it's a lot of envy out here and people want what you have and if they feel like they
- 26:21
can catch you slipping at 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning with your guard down you know they'll try it and it's sometimes we got to
- 26:27
remove the conspirators as simple as we hate each other and we will always bring
- 26:32
home and bring pain to each other like if it just it's that simple sometimes it's no conspiracies it's like we got to
- 26:40
remove all the trying to put together all these conspiracies about [ __ ] that's as simple as yo these dudes notice this
- 26:47
kid has money he has jury and they wanted it period I did read one article
- 26:53
from billboard which is somebody legitimate publication again it's still
- 26:58
not that many details are known but they said it was not entirely motivated by
- 27:04
robbery it may have played a part in it again it's still early to you know
- 27:09
judging but yeah there were reports that you know pop being the only one that was
- 27:15
shot and killed and the assailant went out the front door with nothing but of course we don't know anything grew up in
- 27:21
a botched robbery and at that point the robber couldn't grab anything I just got to get out of here so again we don't
- 27:27
know I hope more is more as found out for this situation but it was video
- 27:34
release though of the for the outside the outside the surveillance footage
- 27:41
yeah yeah
- 27:49
yeah man it's all disturbing it is all pretty disturbing do you got a more what
- 27:56
are your thoughts on on all of all the talks of the address being leaked I mean
- 28:02
again you know - could that be you know part of it it's not impossible but again
- 28:10
man and what we do know is you know this the situation is too familiar is becoming to you know redundant is
- 28:17
playing over and over and it's like this [ __ ] is just unfortunate man it's unfortunate this kid had a lot of
- 28:23
promise he had a lot of lot of things in the works for him and you know and the
- 28:28
split second is this so void and that's not fortunate part it's platta great
- 28:34
album yeah was well on his way was well
- 28:39
again on in a short amount of time that that we were allowed to enjoy him like
- 28:47
I'm seeing all the pictures and all the artists and and all that or a porn the love from people and and you know in for
- 28:54
time I just sit there seen it and I say wow this is only an X amount of time he
- 28:59
was able to touch this many people yeah and and change the energy in the city
- 29:09
that invented this genre that's a tough thing to do I'd said uh I know it was
- 29:16
last month there are a couple episodes ago that I was really excited for for Bobby and rowdy to come back into the
- 29:23
scene of Brooklyn music right now mmm because there was so much positive [ __ ] it was a sound they could kill
- 29:29
they'd have a bunch of great artists around them like we could really make this some unity [ __ ] and not to say that
- 29:36
that that's not the case now but this dampers it a bit I don't know if it's the greatest environment to come back to
- 29:42
just tough blow yeah prayers to uh his
- 29:48
family press his friends yeah um its manager Rico just just that whole whole camp
- 29:54
over there Steven Victor mm-hmm push just just everybody over there yeah man
- 30:04
anybody who was who was privileged enough to to meet pop I didn't have the
- 30:10
pleasure I was looking forward to it
- 30:17
I'll at least try to find a little bit of joy and you know before he before he
- 30:22
transitioned he was able to tarnish it up a little bit do you remember uh in
- 30:28
the summer time we went to gde mm-hmm and push-push was one of the headliners and Moe I think it maybe just
- 30:34
played it like a couple weeks before and push brought him out and like the Craig
- 30:41
went different in the crowd he started me and was like what is this I was like that's the [ __ ] more played yeah crowd
- 30:51
and feel that and that that record was still very early and that whole Coney
- 30:57
Island amphitheater whatever that [ __ ] is called turn different the moment
- 31:03
those first three seconds came yeah my happy pop got to turn it up man before
- 31:09
he transitioned I am rest in peace to pop prayers condolences love to his
- 31:16
family friends and fans this won't be easy but we'll get through it together I know the whole Brooklyn this morning I
- 31:26
know the hip hop is morning and I know your label was morning your peers
- 31:33
you
- 31:50

- 32:20

- 32:38

- 32:46

- 32:54
frisk frisk they won't sit up Rosenberg

- 33:31

- 34:34

- 36:03

- 36:23
one that was saying that [ __ ] I don't listen man no nobody's [ __ ] joke yeah do everything to say here cuz
- 36:29
who gives a [ __ ] like I mean alright we don't we didn't mean any I laughs my response wouldn't really be to
- 36:35
her cuz she can feel that way and I get it it's more of her fans making up the things that we were joking about that I
- 36:40
was like I shut up we were making fun of a suicide attempt we were not true at all uh I know we all
- 36:49
don't share the same vernacular but when I said she tore her mom up I meant that she really got deep into
- 36:54
how her mother abused her and it was a very beautiful song she tore up I know
- 37:00
we don't all speak the same way but meaning man what a great way to express
- 37:05
how you were raised and how your mother did you wrong and you die you don't blonde cook but no
- 37:13
I'm only only speaking to those two things because that was the only thing I particularly care about went through a
- 37:29
breakup we have to joke saying like that's it yeah no understandable now get it yeah totally understandable okay I just don't
- 37:37
want her to think that we were trying to you know make fun of oh no she did her mental health and nothing like that wasn't the case yeah as well not even
- 37:43
close but through everything feeling going through phones and [ __ ] feel better yeah help she feels better yeah that's
- 37:49
it great song great record you're dying again I'm blonde what else
- 38:03
do you all want to get to man weekend to music since we're on that bet path last
- 38:08
time we got into music oh no we're doing we're doing the d-wade ricarose lyrical breakdown [ __ ] that I missed it I don't
- 38:15
see we had some bars I don't want no way to blow at me he got like a 32 on it [ __ ] will you talk about nothing you want to
- 38:33
taste I do it was Big Boss he's excited to get it taste I kind of don't
- 38:44
appreciate your unprogressive homophobic jokes during a time when we're talking
- 38:51
about Dwayne Wade and what he's going through with his family at the moment it's good so I appreciate if y'all would just I don't know just away away no
- 39:01
parks you gonna want to get blocked so anyway going another morning so tell my listen this was going on at home boy you
- 39:12
was up watching a [ __ ] kid what is it keke and Kenan Kenan Kenan and Strahan
- 39:20

- 39:27
more of you saying to do everything you
- 39:33
saw the new Chappelle stand-ups oh that's what everyone's watching put my
- 39:39
tracker on wall yeah get a car no that's why I don't have a car I'm still paying
- 39:47
the 1995 or whatever it is a lot for the iPad you throw a trunk for the track app
- 39:53
who are you tracking exactly does [ __ ]
- 40:13
know exactly winning wait what have we
- 40:21
listening to tracker app he won he did y'all kill yo
- 40:54
wait so times had that stop mister can we rewind this I think where he has ability to of course we can I need this
- 41:01
from the top what are these shenanigans
- 41:07
she broke my you don't have that horn that plays back and forth no the other
- 41:13
one oh my god wait stop they stop this yeah
- 41:27
it's not a single it's the first one out it was I'm meeting some friends this
- 41:36
might be a single note a one that I'm glad I don't might about it I'm glad right back I'm glad like hope
- 41:44
he cleared up the rumors in the verse instead of the media and never known as a singer I'm glad he cleared that up yeah I did think he was a finger you
- 41:57
ain't get the attendre
- 42:02
stop that for a minute do a wait it's not your fashion that's
- 42:10
no that's not why she's checking your pay the bad thing about this no I don't think so y'all know how I feel about Ross it's
- 42:16
one of my favorite rappers but you could tell that Ross wrote a she wrote this look what you guys wrote this react what
- 42:24
what what is this for my angle are you questioning are you questioning Dwayne's
- 42:29
pen yes that's file this is it just doesn't what
- 42:35
is your ticket that's him but what is this though this is oh wait you need more I don't need any more oh yeah I
- 42:42
heard this hmm yo fuel up to jet I like you Rory you
- 42:54
got the Gucci's on this trip too so I wore these mmm turn this off please
- 43:00
oh I don't even see the vid Moll why
- 43:06
didn't Rick Ross change up his flow and cadence for Dwayne Wade clean this out trophy Udonis Haslem on it can we please
- 43:13
go to the outro you don't think Dwayne delivered the lyrics the same way we're
- 43:19
all sort of no no and what is the way we're doing like what's he up to like why he can't just enjoy retirement
- 43:25
this is retirement this is like when you pick up a weird hobby and after you get
- 43:31
laid off this is uncomfortable this is weird this is like it's you know rappers
- 43:38
and ball players have this weird obsession with each other it's just weird like you're not loved roses like
- 44:00
maybe Lutz wrote there this might be a single this is just weird
- 44:11
this is bad I didn't get to the outro Dave you [ __ ] up I was hoping you
- 44:17
wouldn't it's got real from preppie Elsa DK I have it I have more respect for a
- 44:28
dame after hearing this man like every time I rabble cuz I reverse let me scram or more respect for Dean you got to yeah
- 44:36
like this is this is bad this is bad and I love Ross but I never he could have
- 44:42
never got me to believe that Ross we're doing a song with Dwayne Wade why they
- 44:48
collab on a sneaker ok collab wanna sneak and put the sneak out yeah but if
- 44:53
marketing yeah what if they roll out but if the sneak ain't good and stop business don't go venture interview if
- 45:01
you can't do a sneaker you contently do a rap song and I'm not saying that the sneakers bad I haven't seen it I haven't
- 45:06
seen I haven't had seen it that is luxe man Grossberg yeah mellow ball better
- 45:17
catch one the mellow is not 30-plus years old I'm a very played music right
- 45:25
now I was already in kind of a silly mood [Music]
- 45:32
maybe it maybe it's just not for me yeah wait up be for you yeah I thought basketball hip-hop was for me toes
- 45:38
that's the funny thing everything in this MV a champion yeah I
- 45:43
just thought it was 20 rapper bel-air on the NBA championship trophy I should go
- 45:50
and turn green you don't even understand that type of thing right there
- 45:55
you know I mean you don't even understand what this about he's a bel-air boy what do they call it black
- 46:02
bottle boy yeah you black black auto boy from that a boy I'm not any of the boys you're the man's and I'm not a black
- 46:09
bottle boy you're black bottle man and that means you're black bottle Joe I'm
- 46:16
saying no two guys were feeling it I was
- 46:23
I think y'all I ain't don't don't block me now we got to take this up to Def Jam well there Paul did a
- 46:31
little piece of this too late I was gonna say this would be a tough time to
- 46:36
bring it up there when the buildings in dismay changing of the guard yes uh hate
- 46:44
to report that Paul Rosenberg is damned is to step down as Def Jam chairman stop
- 46:50
it CEO I'll be honest with you guys I haven't felt this way since Rockefeller broke up why the Paul Rosenberg era is
- 46:57
no more and I stand here upset tired
- 47:03
emotional the array of classics that
- 47:09
were dropped during this era I think it rivals correctly I think it
- 47:14
no I'm talking about just in the Def Jam lineage not even get there yet if you want to see what Russ and brick did may
- 47:22
have an argument think you surpassed them Lior keV come on come on Rough Riders
- 47:30
Murder Inc like Rockefeller Joe move over
- 47:35
Jesus's King is here we don't report on
- 47:41
[ __ ] we bring some mommy what is didn't laugh yeah Paul Rosenberg who was he
- 47:50
held some position at Def Jam that was important what was president I believe the CEO full-time position of CEO of a
- 48:02
few dollars he was brought on in 2017 to
- 48:07
fix the label and bring it back to its early days of prominence and dominance
- 48:13
take that Walt Frazier that's Paula Frazier yeah no they just let him go and
- 48:24
not let him go but they both agreed mm you sure it was amicable want to save
- 48:33
ons breakups yeah yeah yeah which is a lie and if you off
- 48:41
you've been living under a rock or you're new to this podcast I've been telling you guys since 2018 that of all
- 48:49
was getting fired this year well he outlasted you bud 2020 and and and that
- 48:58
[ __ ] you know I wasn't saying that as a personal indictment to Paul even though I have many he just didn't appear to be
- 49:05
doing a great job he seemed overwhelmed he seemed out of touch
- 49:12
seemed outdated he wasn't garnering results a lot of money going out not
- 49:20
enough money coming in he wasn't mean quotas he didn't seem to do anything but
- 49:26
hire his white friends and that just doesn't make for a successful business
- 49:32
model and if you fail to produce eventually they're gonna get you the
- 49:39
[ __ ] out of there and that's what it appears happens so Rory is Rory is is
- 49:44
being light-hearted about the Paul Rosenberg error if you're if you're listening and you're unable to pick up
- 49:50
on Rory's on sarcasm but it's sarcasm because what exactly happened during
- 49:57
this era we're were the classic albums where were the hits where without we're
- 50:03
them I'm not money forget let's not get to classic with albums all come yet well
- 50:09
there were Kanye West he's on his own
- 50:15
you could you could throw anyone up there Kanye West is putting out Kanye West
- 50:20
projects Zeppo it's Friday dad because
- 50:40
you back on the beat and I'm trying to
- 50:45
tell them that that's it says live but as isn't it yes was a Kanye pickup well
- 51:17
Rory was saying was that anything released uh under good music or Kanye or Stephen Victor or whoever it was they
- 51:25
don't really count towards halls era you could throw any one period up there and people like Justin Bieber and Kanye West
- 51:33
are going to put out quality music on their own I did go speak to 2 Chainz before his
- 51:38
album came out and to 2 Chainz his hole his Holman his whole camp is
- 51:45
they running their own they run these self sufficiency I was just gonna say change there's another one that is doing
- 51:51
this [ __ ] by himself Jadakiss I spoke to win him in fat yeah
- 51:57
when a man fat put that project out he alluded to more the same them having to
- 52:03
do everything themselves well kiss again rock nation management which takes a bulk of everything when your label isn't
- 52:09
doing anything kiss is back again next week with an album yeah I'm looking forward to that
- 52:15
ah and for me that would be scary times to release an album what this doesn't
- 52:20
this probably doesn't count for kiss cuz he's grandfathered in a lot of [ __ ] like yes he's submitted but but to release
- 52:27
the album with your building in Clemente oh yeah in limbo with no president
- 52:33
nobody to call the shots departments I just don't understand why they would wait until now I don't understand why
- 52:38
they hired his [ __ ] ass in the first well I mean well we got let's move away from neck oh I did
- 52:44
why not step down in December yeah when the music industry goes over yeah I just don't understand that
- 52:51
it's like February now you want to step down just a little weird but okay what man not really not really weird to
- 52:57
me when when they act when they act Noah I didn't feel like he had that long over one runway that y'all are
- 53:03
talking about mm-hmm like it didn't seem like he had the option oh no we're gonna
- 53:09
wait and do this not if you step out in February you knew in December you were stepping down yeah oh yeah for sure you
- 53:15
don't make that or whatever once a month like that doesn't happen like that he knew well before December he was
- 53:21
stepping down in January I mean in February he knew I mean either way I'd like to see some new blood in Def Jam
- 53:27
and not just the same musical chairs let's move some other president/ceo to
- 53:33
let's move them from this label to this one and that's gonna garner results now you need some new blood in there some
- 53:39
brand new blood yeah maybe somebody that's not used to the same routine that y'all do with every album take a risk oh
- 53:46
this could be a testament to you know the record labels are dying I mean that's part of it I think yeah well part of part of them dying is
- 53:53
keeping the same old gatekeepers that do the same thing the same way for every album and every artist is different 24
- 54:01
most record labels is absolutely nothing you do it all on your own and it will save you some at this point why do we
- 54:08
say the label why do we why do we always say the labels are dying yeah well because again the way people
- 54:14
consume music the way you purchase music a lot of artists have more information now on business and uh you know if the
- 54:21
labels have a strong hold on the streaming services and they're taking
- 54:28
all of the money from the streaming services and how can they ever die well that's what I was getting that's why we
- 54:34
have to wait for this fight to hurry up and be over between between these guys the catalog Oh some labels alive for oh
- 54:41
absolutely but still there are some artists that want to go more mainstream
- 54:48
esque I'm not talking about numbers or money coming in that labels work out for that there's looks with tonight shows
- 54:54
there's looks with certain festivals there's looks overseas there's looks with streaming like labels do offer
- 55:01
something for certain artists but those artists are the Liz O's of the worlds
- 55:07
like they're not so much the kid that has his laptop and is making something innovative that y'all haven't heard yet
- 55:13
Liz - I was gonna say Atlantica because that
- 55:19
that that's the other that's the other thing that shines brightly on Paul's resume there have been a lot of new acts
- 55:26
to break that's true not most most of the rap music today
- 55:32
Atlantic is making busy they are far for the past five seven years somewhere in
- 55:37
that range Atlantic has been getting busy so what is it about your ineptitude or your your what is it about your
- 55:44
inability to target new talent to
- 55:51
develop new talent and to bring new talent to your building what no
- 55:57
disrespect of what he's accomplished music business but Paul's Paul's resume
- 56:05
and career has been focused on one white pop star that raps really really really
- 56:11
really really well so I don't think he's had to focus on what the climate is when
- 56:17
new artists are doing he's had the luxury of that not mattering you have the biggest artists in the world and you
- 56:23
have to go to his needs well that's and those needs are not of new artists on a label that's why I
- 56:29
asked the question when he got the job why the [ __ ] is he getting the job I mean it sounded like hate at the time
- 56:35
but it's Eminem signing to Def Jam like explain it to me that would emerge then
- 56:44
it's like oh yeah I give me a job - yeah take it yeah but how much life do you
- 56:50
have if you just yo you claim to fame is just one phenomenal artist you did a
- 56:58
great job I think they gave I think to
- 57:06
some people they gave Paul a lot of credit on shady and if you look at
- 57:12
Shady's roster throughout the years it's been the ones that have popped have been the self-sufficient artists that 50 is
- 57:19
did DJ an em hell v absolutely but did the shady label system after get rich or
- 57:25
die trying' help 50 cent no 50 was 50 was yes 50 did that he was 50 so I think
- 57:33
maybe those people in those offices gave Paul that credit I'm just trying to think how that hiring would happen well
- 57:39
it's a celebrity hire to some degree so I understand why they hired him that's
- 57:45
not getting it done these days same reason we have I always go back to fam
- 57:51
Dan is the job that dj khaled begged for and deserved he was in there he belonged
- 57:59
to you he had proven his ear and he wanted it that job was a mess it's been
- 58:06
a mess forever and Khalid wanted the mess like he wanted to inherit that
- 58:13
problem and get it right and my man it was a joke they left remember our combo when I was
- 58:21
comparing Def Jam and the Knicks of like what's cool now it used to be cool it's not cool now you can say what you say if
- 58:29
Khalid is cool or not but anytime Khalid attaches himself to something whether it be rock nation epic we the best MMG Cash
- 58:37
Money snapchat it moves it becomes cool and he promotes that [ __ ] and puts it
- 58:45
forward with every last thing that he does he could be taking a [ __ ] yo epic this [ __ ] is epic like he attaches
- 58:52
everything to it if you're trying to rebrand a label and Khaled [ __ ] with the younger kids he always has he's a
- 59:01
gatekeeper for new music and putting people on that may not get that opportunity or that look that they would
- 59:07
get from another label so why not put Khalid in that position and he can hear what a record is yeah he can hear what a
- 59:14
record is you can debate whether you can create one on his own or not I think he can't but yeah he definitely can like
- 59:20
when Hall was the president at Def Jam I remember him visiting sessions every
- 59:26
now and then it wasn't a normal routine but every now and then he would visit
- 59:31
the session and as an artist in the session it felt good to know that the president could do this too like if your
- 59:39
ear was off or you were in a place of doubt you could lean on president's ear cuz it's proven and he
- 59:45
kind of knows what he's doing and I could see them believing the same thing for Paul with his track record of 50 and
- 59:52
M I would just beg the exact opposite by his track record of 50 and em you know
- 59:59
Emmett has always been different from what the rest of us have to do yeah a
- 1:00:04
different different formula yeah so and fifties formula is unmatched on how he
- 1:00:12
broke as an artist so what is 50 what the hell is all of that experience and
- 1:00:17
information that Paul has what what who does it behoove when Paul comes to the
- 1:00:23
Davies session if that's happening I don't know if that's happening well it's
- 1:00:29
not happening now but when Paul what session is Paul going to who is Jeremy
- 1:00:34
what are you doing there but delegating and just hiring your [ __ ] friends then you don't even have sense enough to
- 1:00:40
hire somebody black yeah that's not even me
- 1:00:45
That's not me on on on the race war thing that's me saying hey in black
- 1:00:51
culture it would make sense that I mean
- 1:00:57
hey and and I'm gonna get my all my white buddies right after them but you
- 1:01:03
have to be trying to do something to get the [ __ ] job done and and it's it's
- 1:01:09
sad in sadly ironic that we're having this conversation about Def Jam and how they move cuz Steven Victor being put in
- 1:01:16
that place look what Steven brought him right away pop smoke look look look who knows
- 1:01:22
what's going on yeah Paul has got the nerve to be at the [ __ ] the bowling and bottles event first of all
- 1:01:31
and drink bottles so you know your whole label is failing I know cuz I'm kickin
- 1:01:41
it away yo with somebody later man its new up there guy hey man give the chance like [ __ ] ain't selling confidence
- 1:01:47
what are you doing talking about bout to get this pair
- 1:01:54
it's gonna bowling I don't know could be left when we got there that's funny
- 1:02:02
clear it out when I arrived we know you come with the bowling you fell off I'm
- 1:02:10
not serious with any physical activity outside of fighting and only fighting because well I mean we have to users if
- 1:02:15
you get out of light it's not like it no but it's not on/off button if it starts
- 1:02:22
off button for bowling yes all the physical [ __ ] I mean off imagine they're
- 1:02:28
not being an off button for bowling like you just got a bowl you are what you
- 1:02:37
think about no it's just it started Oh
- 1:02:44
Joe will not stop bowling Joe we got a pod who do they bring two more frames
- 1:02:50
two more frames they bring in who do they bring in like do you see the turn and I'm not harping on this I'm leaving
- 1:02:57
this because I don't want people to take my criticism as personal DePaul because there's been things personal in the past
- 1:03:04
look how Capital change well we keep seeing them next yeah when ETOP you got
- 1:03:10
over here look at look with even with a who you people uh Robert she go wish our
- 1:03:15
gala boom rock nation Bob she was she was at Atlantic though she went from Atlantic tomorrow I'm just saying
- 1:03:22
they're people in the music business that are saying you know what mmm you up
- 1:03:29
elevate you killed it dear like why the [ __ ] we're sad like that isn't like look no
- 1:03:38
further than shaft somebody who has been in that building since whatever year
- 1:03:44
2000 1 2 3 or no cookies to [ __ ] with them years whose body it all along
- 1:03:51
everywhere you put them with every artist they pop off yep why is it set like who in that building
- 1:03:59
Steve borrows don't know who'll up there [ __ ] I like that's all I'm saying
- 1:04:04
like even a few all changes like that could turn around your entire your entire label like once
- 1:04:11
you kill left what would they about to do a beer even the Sycamores of the world I think belong in those positions
- 1:04:17
absolutely sick one but that thing might be in that position but not at Def Jam
- 1:04:22
that's my point the biggest s that really get to it they've got in a position in other
- 1:04:28
buildings and the building is profiting the artists are profiting I mean Davies
- 1:04:33
is acting I can see two chains is going to get some other little [ __ ] he's
- 1:04:39
starting a whole new thing people are venturing off and just trying other [ __ ]
- 1:04:45
now because nobody in the Def Jam building is like can is really sis being
- 1:04:51
sustained by the building mm 20 years later so I ask you this question does
- 1:04:58
Def Jam just become a legacy label know they bring somebody in there who who
- 1:05:03
fixes the legacy legacy I mean let's just focus on our catalog and promoting
- 1:05:10
our catalog and celebrating that's whether that be their anniversaries or just promoting this week one of the best
- 1:05:16
that's what got them in this issue I think no I think you bring in somebody that was a major figure in building the
- 1:05:21
legacy at Def Jam you can't just don't think you bring in outdated thinking and that's what a lot
- 1:05:27
of these companies do they bring in the the bigwig from the person that was a bigwig over there and another bigwig
- 1:05:33
company who got fired from over there or some [ __ ] to come be a bigwig over here
- 1:05:39
I never understand the logic in that happen and even the ones that would work in that case like you think Lee ores
- 1:05:45
thinking about running a label right now yes but no I'm saying in he's
- 1:05:54
forward-thinking and where it's going I'm saying him doubling backs like oh yeah Def Jam would be a good idea for me
- 1:05:59
no I'm doing YouTube that's my point that I'm saying yes u2 is building something over there I get what you
- 1:06:04
meant by that but yeah the people that would make the most sense to do that are so forward-thinking going I'm not going back to Def Jam
- 1:06:10
I'm in this stream and [ __ ] with YouTube yeah I don't know I don't know what they should do
- 1:06:19
but they should do something they should bring in somebody I don't and I don't have any idea who that person might be
- 1:06:24
um Big Sean is still over here all right yeah we're good yeah what let you touch
- 1:06:30
this show now listen man I'm trying to
- 1:06:36
make a joke shake [ __ ] up man throw Kanye West Big Sean is CEO of deaf Jim shake some [ __ ]
- 1:06:42
up no you can't do that now I can see it though do it you wouldn't do it now he
- 1:06:48
wouldn't do it now you wanna do it now six months ago he would have done it kind of Kanye gonna say by God living his crew I'll do it if
- 1:06:56
Def Jam moves into my house the actual building like move the building from Midtown it's a while and put it in my home see
- 1:07:04
but even that I'll have to sleep in your key even that idea I don't want to get far far far off of our conversation but
- 1:07:12
even that idea that we're joking around about I'm kind of not by the way okay
- 1:07:18
it's not a bad idea I'm kind of not you just say that it's not okay whether we think it's a good
- 1:07:24
idea whether we think he would do it or not what I'm saying is does he make like a billion dollars here making shoes it's
- 1:07:29
not doing this I think he makes a lot more than that yeah but he needs he needs like he needs a Bartles Steve
- 1:07:36
Bartle chaperone there but yay could run a six months ago I think yay before he
- 1:07:41
got into his Jesus back my point run away my point that I'm trying to make is Kanye West has been in that system since
- 1:07:50
2003 Oh technically one at some point he
- 1:08:00
would have been the perfect person for this he is the only person probably keeping the lights on really
- 1:08:05
consistently be where it's always is always I know before that um I mean
- 1:08:14
either way he's still keeping the lights on no and it baffles me that while y'all
- 1:08:20
were trying to put Kanye West music videos on the side of apart brick apartment buildings in Harlem that none
- 1:08:27
of y'all said hmm let's go further in these talks let's advance let's advance this
- 1:08:32
conversation Kanye because no I think Anya is way too big to do it now I think
- 1:08:38
he was way too big to do it six months ago I think he's way too busy I think he's way too a lot of [ __ ] but at some point
- 1:08:45
in his timeline this would have been perfect and he would have grabbed it immediately I don't know who else exists
- 1:08:51
that could do this I can see him doing just to uh sell back his masters to himself yeah really shakes in it well he I mean
- 1:08:59
Universal would have to sign off on that he can't do that but he'll try it'll be it'll be a great
- 1:09:07
story that we they're not selling calling you with his master's back but oh god no no no wait and where do you
- 1:09:14
stand on that one more what Kanye get his master's back yeah from the evil and
- 1:09:20
all from the evil empire uh it'll be a fight it'll probably cost Kanye a lot of
- 1:09:27
money but um you don't feel like the evil empires you just say yo man we made a lot of money from your [ __ ] already
- 1:09:32
yeah yo yeah why don't you give us a couple these is the most profitable with
- 1:09:40
the Sagra fees ever really tough to sleep at night with this thing you know
- 1:09:47
I've held graduation long enough for his
- 1:09:53
catalogs that's a problem that would be a problem
- 1:10:02
oh good knife you break down samples I don't know Kanye's publishing to him may
- 1:10:08
not be as lucrative I'm sure yes as you may think it is it's a lot of people a
- 1:10:13
lot of cooks in that kitchen yeah it is another hardest that might be good for you something figure it out you know
- 1:10:20
what will get his job too y'all gonna think I'm crazy chill button I would never take this job Fat Joe take on this [ __ ] face no
- 1:10:26
your direction and you're not far from fair Jill mm-hmm actually I mean I might put him on my on
- 1:10:33
my team but I'm thinking Ross he's better with Def Jam South I think they
- 1:10:39
use wasn't he a president of some division of I'm glad he was I believe I mean
- 1:10:45
I don't know I don't know anyway I would agree with you
- 1:10:51
I would put put the proper people next to him the numbers people in the budget books people to people that know the business and I would let him be the
- 1:11:00
brand ambassador influencer curator taste maker ANR everything hmm I
- 1:11:06
wouldn't make I would make him MMG Def Jam cuz he's done it already well I'm sure he has a bad taste because
- 1:11:14
Def Jam fumbled that MMG he was still signed at Def Jam as a solo artist in
- 1:11:19
Atlantic scooped up MMG when Ross went to Def Jam first it was like I'm trying to this label I got Meek I got wale I
- 1:11:27
got oh yeah I got a drop don't play like I got it they're all here I got until
- 1:11:34
they drop somebody balls I'm done I'm done I have nothing to say listen man of course I wish Paul Rosenberg none but
- 1:11:39
the best Paul Rosenberg will be just fine yeah I mean duh yeah that's my
- 1:11:47
issue the executives are always fine it's the artists whose careers being
- 1:11:53
limbo while your bum ass is present [ __ ] up my tie my lifeline here yeah
- 1:11:58
and now I don't know what and now I don't know what I'm going to do now I have to plan my career coming off a flop
- 1:12:04
coming off a record that didn't work coming off of a label that's not supporting me coming off or trying to do
- 1:12:09
some [ __ ] without the finances coming off with [ __ ] being outdated telling me I got to only have a prominent
- 1:12:15
feature to be able to get a song played or I can't even get the video done if I won't have [ __ ] Justin Bieber or somebody I'm like who knows what's being
- 1:12:21
said mm-hmm but when the top is [ __ ] up all is all is in play all is in play
- 1:12:29
yeah you were not wrong go over there
- 1:12:34
and call [ __ ] top and try to get Kendrick over there or from a drop-off
- 1:12:40
from a job try to get the whole titi de over there makes isn't want to sing more try to get three more albums out it's
- 1:12:48
it's I mean it's all Universal at the end of the day that's why why I asked that question of saying shouldn't Def
- 1:12:53
Jam just be legacy Interscope s-- doing cool Islands in a rebuilding phase
- 1:12:58
like I don't know if universe was looking at Def Jam like yo this is a priority we got to build this back we
- 1:13:04
have a great back catalog and that's we're not suffering that's why that's why I called Big Sean a superstar this
- 1:13:10
face not because I think that right this second he's the biggest superstar in the
- 1:13:16
world but for him to have accomplished what he's accomplished and what I deemed
- 1:13:21
to be the most [ __ ] up building in the music business like I do believe that
- 1:13:26
universe would just looks at the FG I'm like a tax write-off now everybody over here anybody this high ain't being
- 1:13:33
funneled through over there yeah oh I wasn't still profitable but you're a
- 1:13:39
Sutra said they haven't been there back catalogue continuing that's all my dad yeah that's all about that back
- 1:13:45
catalogue stuff I'm talking about your current roster and your output and our quarterly quotas that we have to meet in
- 1:13:51
Sean Sean should have a chip on his shoulder with Def Jam hell yeah oh listen I'll get really interesting I
- 1:13:58
was there when finally came it was was coming out they were not checking for Big Sean at all he did like two weeks
- 1:14:05
before his album came out he did something in front of the bake store or some [ __ ] downtown and he flooded the
- 1:14:12
block and all the execs up there were like wait this gets put in an album out
- 1:14:18
in two weeks and everyone's like yeah Kanye was not on Marvin Gaye in Chardonnay yet got a
- 1:14:24
scramble to get that together wait we have to put money behind this kid Sean's like yo I've been here for two years and
- 1:14:29
no one's paying attention to me I put out the finally famous three mixtape that was crazy online yeah I don't care about online even though it's 2011
- 1:14:36
I go to the bait store and the whole block is flooded and now you guys care about my album that's coming out in two [ __ ] weeks that's crazy [ __ ] y'all I
- 1:14:43
will give me a Ross Sean won't say that cuz he's a nice guy a roster of artists that people care about and want to hear
- 1:14:50
from and are invested in some new blood I would rejuvenate the farm system I would get somebody that people care
- 1:14:56
about at the head so that people care about every little thing we do same way rock nation does I will mate Teyana
- 1:15:02
Taylor shoot every video that comes out of this building every last one I like I would just start doing cool [ __ ] and Def
- 1:15:09
Jam ain't done nothing cool in a long long time yeah the next man yeah yeah
- 1:15:21
deaf jaemin's and Nick's alright what else we got on this beautiful weekend speaking of Paul Royce's album came out
- 1:15:27
hey you not cool to me yeah they're not
- 1:15:32
tough to me you're not the measuring stick of which Street [ __ ] listen - yes races album came out did year I did
- 1:15:41
did everyone here here in its entirety how did Allison entirety but I listened to a fair amount of it I liked it it's
- 1:15:51
different it's a it's a it's a rap album it's rat it's rat no skimming that I did
- 1:16:00
I'm most impressed being that he produces album and so that's what I'll do yeah everyone knows Royce can rap his
- 1:16:07
ass off that's fine I am I going into this I had the same thing
- 1:16:13
let's hear this production like up-tempo bass and drum beats your first couple
- 1:16:19
beats good my thing were I have to give Royce a lot of credit as a new beat
- 1:16:24
maker even seasoned beat makers only have a few drum patterns they loop [ __ ] the exact same way they have the
- 1:16:30
specific sound they don't experiment every beat on here sounds different and that's really tough for a new producer
- 1:16:37
like I have to to get I don't wear hats but hats off oh good you didn't have
- 1:16:43
hands no they got it they my closet though I don't wear hats and sweat inside like you guys ate haunted on the
- 1:16:49
socks come on man they were 200 you're wearing Gucci sneakers though $200 on Sox's so those
- 1:16:57
are 850 I know how much those are but could you have them not that color Republican Rory Bloomberg Bloomberg Rory
- 1:17:06
I thought he did a great job yeah I like
- 1:17:16
the Royce project I thought it was a good way to come off Booker Ryan of getting super personal different part of
- 1:17:23
the brain here for Royce new perspective from him I enjoyed it yeah can't wait to
- 1:17:29
get into what he was saying on there kind of skim through it the production he's saying quite a bit yeah it's gonna
- 1:17:36
take a couple listen no doubt you're gonna need to grab onto your seat for this nobody was in
- 1:17:43
back he was getting a lot of [ __ ] off I like this Royce though this voice is
- 1:17:48
more seems like he's more aware he's more vocal if that makes sense like I
- 1:17:55
think he's uh being more personal letting people into his mind a little more emotional this is emotional project
- 1:18:04
a lot of things he's saying that you can tell the things that he uh has been thinking or feeling for a while and I'm
- 1:18:11
again I'm just impressed that he produced like he's actually making beats like to me that was just like like I had
- 1:18:17
to ask my oh you did every beat I did every beat okay that's very impressive very impressive it's a good project I'm
- 1:18:24
happy for you yeah happy for Rory's if you have not heard it check out the new album the algorri in your phone right this very
- 1:18:31
second allegory what I say I don't know every said that out loud or rhythms to
- 1:18:38
sit down you said the allergies Oh check out the algorithms check out Royce's and
- 1:18:44
sinuses that type of year uh what else
- 1:18:52
what other new music came out mariana put a song out with the woman t-pain the
- 1:18:58
one with t-pain yes I pass me too not for me I waited up all night for it
- 1:19:03
darling he should've went to sleep yeah
- 1:19:08
kiss and push without something and in unput so I I try to find it and then I
- 1:19:14
had to go on YouTube to find it okay they put it out and then put it back yeah yep well it's good because the song
- 1:19:21
was called a hunting season where they were talking about metaphorically hunting for wack rappers and killing
- 1:19:28
them oh it is this will push that hunting season was a request that ice picked Jay rest rest in peace then asked
- 1:19:35
who the album is named after it push o always had always had and in life yeah
- 1:19:43
sorry hunting season was a request that I speak Jay always had and in light of his
- 1:19:48
death man kiss made an incredible song with that being said the whole concept of hunting season and the hypothetical
- 1:19:55
ideas of killing rappers isn't settling isn't sitting well with me while mourning the recent death of pop smoke
- 1:20:01
rest in peace pop and condolences to his family have respected yeah so they
- 1:20:06
pulled it off of our streaming sites and what a respectable move yeah for sure yeah me too
- 1:20:14
yeah gotta respect yeah you can't if you can't respect that your perspective is wack yeah you gotta get your perspective
- 1:20:20
check though Bush did have a line at the end which is
- 1:20:27
off that topic of saying a thousand fiends verse a billion streams we're
- 1:20:33
even and I started thinking a thousand fiends is way more profitable than a
- 1:20:39
billion stream let's do the label yeah or the DSP then I'm taking a billion stream have fun with your fiends okay
- 1:20:47
thousand fiends last fiends what other
- 1:20:53
new music was there NB a young boy put out something didn't go didn't get a chance put your sling you guys know
- 1:20:59
what's out there Thanks trippy red put out something I did see that this was always my vision
- 1:21:07
for Oregon the podcast to update us on when tribute rare drops well I am red and I trip so I didn't know the NB a
- 1:21:15
young boy was the most uh you know watching that was crazy
- 1:21:21
we need somebody told me that I didn't I would have never guessed that he was the most watched artist on YouTube mm-hmm your fears yeah that's crazy okay I'll
- 1:21:31
check it out mo okay uh El Camino and 38 special something slight yeah you know I
- 1:21:42
think yeah I think I mixed that how you think you mix the whole project you know
- 1:21:47
you ever thought you put album oh no you gotta just think you might have mixed at home selling my mix yeah you're that
- 1:21:56
snare that hit that way yeah that sound like me good job parks he's not here yet
- 1:22:01
thanks I'm sure you did well shots special kameena Griselda fired the booth freestyle mall give it to us shout out
- 1:22:18
to Rick hi shout out to Benny car way Wes that's not Charlie clue no all right
- 1:22:25
and Joe's defense when I first saw the clip the clip I said oh I don't think Charlie up there he's nice though he is
- 1:22:41
nice he um he performed the [ __ ] you hosted yeah yeah no he's nice he's what I was waiting for his verse and then the
- 1:22:48
video ended yeah yes I hate when y'all act like y'all not as she goes that did not do that this is not here for him to
- 1:22:56
get off right here know the original title he was in the title yeah he were soda plus like so maybe
- 1:23:01
there's a version where he is gonna get off yeah I would like to come out yeah cuz he's nice I would like to hear it is
- 1:23:07
this yeah anyways other freestyles before they spaz on this yeah I'm just
- 1:23:15
happy that this this these type of bars and this type of content is is being respected and you know with all the
- 1:23:22
other [ __ ] that's so popular now it's like grimy bars of violence yeah it's like he's getting you know it's getting
- 1:23:27
respected and they've been doing this is just that now is their time that people are really paying attention and
- 1:23:33
you know appreciating it so just don't know somehow this morning I love this
- 1:23:41
podcast somehow this morning I was picturing licensed come off on look what
- 1:23:47
you picture in the morning I'm thinking more like on SportsCenter I'm going on first take during some of the stupid
- 1:23:53
topics and just seeing how the talk break would play out because on you know
- 1:23:58
they ask the questions on there for the dialogue to flow you know they don't thank you all right who do you think's
- 1:24:04
won an MVP is it Greek freak or LeBron and Seymour just like nothing LeBrons
- 1:24:10
gonna get that yeah so so why do you think I'm just happy that this [ __ ] I
- 1:24:17
mean the hard [ __ ] is out there every week all right well then what else can
- 1:24:23
we say about surprise I don't want to say out there I'll try to find a way to
- 1:24:29
further his conversations I always give myself in a jam without do it okay Jim does this yes Rory a jam does this video
- 1:24:39
and I don't want Brazell to beef or attention or friction I'm just trying to fir that his talk
- 1:24:47
watching this or listening to this does it sound whenever that as long as fiends
- 1:24:54
smoke crack I'll be on the Block hustling counting my stacks Forex does this sound like listening to this
- 1:25:01
that that uh Wes has had enough has been
- 1:25:09
very vocal about that for about he never hears he only wrapped wind when Benny was was away and I got shot like that so
- 1:25:17
really started to have a movement I was managing that was the visual person you don't have to wrap it but he has been sounding like he's been selling like
- 1:25:24
he's had enough he's been vocal about saying I've had enough of his his
- 1:25:30
product being the hottest [ __ ] out of people maybe not recognizing that I'll
- 1:25:35
know they're recognizing it that's I
- 1:25:42
don't wanna rap he just wants to he want to make sure that the product looks the way supposed to look that's all does it
- 1:25:49
sound like from the verse does it sound like from the verse that Conway has had
- 1:25:55
enough of the Binney the butcher best rapper talks
- 1:26:01
oh absolutely they're competitive but it's never no it's not enough from a
- 1:26:07
mall stop stepping on our stop stepping on our talk if you just know and it did it this is what a talk is you say
- 1:26:15
something but you get my point of view he gives his point of view but you're what I'm saying is you're affiliated so if you come and say I mean competitive
- 1:26:23
but it's not that it steps on us theorize oh you could no it's silly you could still theorize but I'm just saying
- 1:26:28
like it's definitely competition but I never felt like that into it until this oh no it's a definitely was common but
- 1:26:35
that's why that's why that's why - it is that they push each other Conway needed this moment to say hey
- 1:26:40
remember guys I'm the one you loved first you were crazy he went nuts but I
- 1:26:48
think he had enough of it now but I said
- 1:27:06
that months ago like every week I go from Benny being my favorite one to Conway like it but that's the dope [ __ ]
- 1:27:13
about is that they're in the same camp yeah so it's like you're choosing between two dudes that's under the same
- 1:27:20
camp like sorry who's your favorite rapper that week like so that's the dope [ __ ] and it's like what they're saying
- 1:27:26
is be the [ __ ] that they were saying ho Fallon I couldn't believe they was all Fallon saying that you know stage like
- 1:27:31
yeah it was crazy to me yeah you got that off hole couldn't get no more Fallon with that [ __ ] yeah that was
- 1:27:36
thank you for setting it up more whoo who ever said that up y'all got that off how do you guys feel that they did this
- 1:27:42
at those microphones and we just got cursed out by Nicki Minaj microphones
- 1:27:47
it's definitely the same studio didn't have that energy we should win any rapid
- 1:27:53
mall are you gonna need an IV or a bed or something to faint on when the Benny
- 1:27:59
the butcher and drink record drops hmm no you broke voice
- 1:28:08
could never to be continued I could see
- 1:28:25
more dunas outro like that we just get started to be continued somebody tell me
- 1:28:30
how that record goes down what type of drink again we get man's Drake we get in the boy Dre farm asking you to tell me
- 1:28:36
no you know what oh you getting Forester yeah you getting rap but that's the Drake does he uses he doesn't like he
- 1:28:42
said he'll never put out a full rap out he's not doing it but I think he takes opportunities like this to feed that
- 1:28:48
hunger of people wanting to hear straight bars from him yeah so I think he's gonna take this as an opportunity to get into music
- 1:29:42
the butcher is coming how did you leave I wanted more bricks but I wanted more
- 1:29:59
and their boots come in with a girly birth oh no damn boots come in some
- 1:30:07
other girl you know in Toronto see she doesn't she like sells drugs for Moishe
- 1:30:17
on the rust album Benny come on first of
- 1:30:29
all Benny def whatever happens with this record Benny definitely as a bar of taking a chick making her a mule to go
- 1:30:34
from Buffalo to Toronto with the bricks without a question telling the true you
- 1:30:40
made her amused I made a mule you know I do Drizzy's Muse was mom you oh yeah I
- 1:30:48
can't wait for the and we don't know
- 1:30:55
yearning imagine Benny yearning hi
- 1:31:03
what y'all think about that Drake unfinished snippet that came up oh yeah I didn't hear you're putting us on yeah
- 1:31:10
you know you got all the snippets babe we all follow the same people we don't
- 1:31:17
he started he started the record with your you're a vegan but you're going ham
- 1:31:24
oh great wait excuse me screaming wait
- 1:31:29
no what did you just say the first line of the solar sail yeah you're a vegan which are going ham see
- 1:31:36
was great to get that off interview no it sounds great yeah it sounds fine I do
- 1:31:42
I do want here to butcher your oh it's
- 1:31:47
on your mind nasty [ __ ] butchy I would like the other Binney the
- 1:31:56
butcher Drake record me to looking forward to that one and I like Benny's
- 1:32:03
energy of like now I'm just gonna leave it the moment you send my emails it's so I'm streaming I do lead a very we've
- 1:32:09
done already is that I think so too it's weeding like that yeah yeah when Drake
- 1:32:15
is putting the trophies under the comments it's done he's aware of what he
- 1:32:20
did oh yeah yeah feel like he smoked you Benny more called rate come on who went
- 1:32:26
to that one of straight bars no I want a song cuz I don't know what the song
- 1:32:32
sounds like hard to say well I'm gonna I'm only gonna go with Drake cuz if
- 1:32:37
we're talking on a song in his resume this is gonna be Barstow this is of course alright who you think wins if
- 1:32:42
they're saying like I feel great for on their [ __ ] though cuz rank is
- 1:32:49
not gonna Benny record and doing a 16 a rabid example [ __ ] is going on don't really necessarily do like long verses
- 1:32:54
so I feel like if Betty did a 16 then Drake does like a 64 it's gonna be sue Benny not doing a 16 either 32 minimum
- 1:33:02
from Ian Conway knows Benny doesn't do normally do long verses so he truly tricked him to come up here had a
- 1:33:10
hundred and eighty two in the stash about the surgeon brought their young protege made him not wanna rap nobody
- 1:33:17
wanted to rap Cowboys funny man
- 1:33:22
that ball about that shag Brian short [ __ ] is hilarious man crazy was a nose
- 1:33:28
is like now let me just he just know it wasn't alright well how do you know okay
- 1:33:40
so are you suggesting that hole did not get in for the Dwyane Wade I don't know
- 1:33:47
what you told my officer if you're saying his numbers are correct
- 1:33:53
Rory though we don't even be checking to see if
- 1:34:00
Rory's wide and none Joe you've definitely had wires in your sneakers so
- 1:34:05
know what you talking about we don't be talking about whoa we don't
- 1:34:12
meet that you ain't never go to go to visit visit somebody and they tap tap you down to see if you got anything on
- 1:34:17
you I've never liked walking somebody's house like a club public establishment
- 1:34:24
where they don't want any like pop yeah like yeah but if I'm going to somebody's outside by your house well you gotta
- 1:34:33
pack things down that's interesting to me people have patted you down in their house 1,000% cuz she was known for that
- 1:34:41
who patted you down before walking in the house a few people know who you have
- 1:34:48
to see who though I didn't know who they were I don't think he should say who the
- 1:34:53
person was that I was I was a plus one more or a plus seven okay but was a lot
- 1:35:02
of padding now just a party or was just like a chill night nod this was something that I wouldn't even allow them to know some exchanges were present
- 1:35:11
oh but you were okay so this was it there's a business meeting it was it was that oh we work yeah now they're tight
- 1:35:18
over there we must don't know why you had it down cuz we work at Spotify whether we work oh it's the Spotify pat
- 1:35:26
him down yeah okay I got you they tried to see if he had a wire on him to get algorithms you told my wire him up
- 1:35:35
checking for weapons Amal have wires we started with a wire so I know but then I
- 1:35:40
advanced it to asking and I really was looking at mall to see if this ever happened I'm shocked that there happen to you it's some walk into somebody's
- 1:35:46
house no good to go anywhere and somebody assumed that you had a weapon on you and making sure that you don't
- 1:35:52
yeah that's not it that's not a bouncer or security just some random [ __ ] stop
- 1:35:58
patting me down get the [ __ ] out of here [Laughter]
- 1:36:06
if it's like that if we just Pat [ __ ] each other you got something or you [ __ ] if you
- 1:36:11
got it on you there's somebody from some type of like you know real a cop or
- 1:36:18
something you understand but this is something it I got a champion every
- 1:36:36
conversation on power that happened before it happened a pat-down happen what for reason Joe Powerball you gotta
- 1:37:02
have like the cargo pants of mad pockets the ACG boots you gotta look like you're securing the premises like at any time
- 1:37:08
you've ever allegedly gone to purchase weapons they typically will Pat you down to make sure you're not where you don't
- 1:37:14
have a weapon on you too if it's illegal but if you go on like a Walmart or Kmart in the south to buy a shotgun in not bad
- 1:37:20
ya could pick up plates and Kmart into
- 1:37:26
the gun section before you leave or something no nobody got it don't homie
- 1:37:33
behind the register he got it on him believe that he oh yeah walk straight
- 1:37:40
out the store with popsicles in a shotgun for me we go to the Walmart down
- 1:37:48
there and then drive back with you to let your snitch
- 1:37:57
spent a lot of time in South Carolina I would never sign up for that long of a drive no [ __ ] what a call full of work
- 1:38:04
no and I'm the guy that's gonna get everybody caught anyone so my clumsy luck left my Newports in the trunk no
- 1:38:20
freeze frame all right we have this nothing was really important a is on the
- 1:38:26
way are you allowed to comment on that actually over here the wrestling move no after you and Shawn put each other and
- 1:38:35
lovable head locks oh she's doing press
- 1:38:40
so I assume she's she's putting it out mo she got someone coming Ellie gave her
- 1:38:48
the car test yep we didn't see the results yet but it's gonna be fire all
- 1:38:55
Jenna should be fired it'd be need a little therapy Lucy's I have a problem with what I can but I can't say anything
- 1:39:00
about him anymore so I'm not cuz Shawn padded you know she does always put out all good projects though yeah she does
- 1:39:07
look at me biggie now trying to get unblocked that's a fact hey kailani that was Joe he does though
- 1:39:15
yeah so if she's coming Wow - yeah when we
- 1:39:20
first started listening to sailing souls and all of that like she I don't close the decade yeah she hasn't it don't feel like it but you've got about close to a
- 1:39:27
decade and if we count up the mixtape yeah oh she takes a ton so it's Alex you
- 1:39:32
got pump [ __ ] out every other six months I'm looking forward to it did you guys hear the brand-new Eminem interview that
- 1:39:38
just hit the streets I didn't have a change you know all right did you check it out um what's your favorite food um you I don't even know
- 1:39:47
that I like bacon
- 1:39:54
what's your favorite food bacon was that was that the big question that was course I didn't see it there just rapid
- 1:40:00
enough to set up killing Joe already with a set up cuz Joe Ben did the studio
- 1:40:06
with the studio chairs swinging back and forth you created directed this so you don't have any
- 1:40:14
actual commentary I didn't watch I'm
- 1:40:21
scared to speak going because they're gonna say I'm Hayden and I really have eight I mean it did you watch it
- 1:40:27
I saw it yeah no I saw how was it cool the other part that I heard was the rap
- 1:40:32
nerd breaking down Treach lyrics I'm here for the app in here for crook and yeah I am breaking down treacherous
- 1:40:39
that's uh what's your favorite food questions for me well what was his favorite food beats he said no he didn't
- 1:40:47
even giving you metaphors even when he's not rapping no he did not so he said he
- 1:40:53
said ma does he eat beets wait but wait crook thought he was on my beats and
- 1:41:02
then it took Brooke a minute a guy who's like oh I'm not doing this which a today
- 1:41:10
neither am i I didn't see it I'm gonna watch it yeah shut up shout out to crook I think that's everybody man crook
- 1:41:19
unblock me that's a big look for his uh
- 1:41:27

- 1:41:45

- 1:41:52

- 1:42:53

- 1:43:11

- 1:46:21
something to set the mood [ __ ] one of
- 1:46:30

- 1:46:43
me like when word gets round up I don't like how he says [ __ ] I say white it's a
- 1:46:49
very way way to say well Joe I am white I never picked up on that before though but you normally have a cool [ __ ] you
- 1:46:56
know white people with alcohol and their feelings sometimes that extra CK will come out I thought your problem with it
- 1:47:04
in there you honestly not the CK port well that's it cuz it's cuff like you
- 1:47:10

- 1:47:20

- 1:47:25
words do hurt yeah it's true umm what else are we doing what else are we doing our Black History Month tribute that we
- 1:47:32

- 1:47:39

- 1:47:53
Ava Duvernay is an American filmmaker they just wrote
- 1:48:00
a word American in front of everything was nationality American I'm almost
- 1:48:06
positive for nationalities that America broke it you want to talk about african-american one day as far as what
- 1:48:14
what that mean the title Oh own ass see now you trying to have a father Oh God
- 1:48:20
Ava Duvernay is an American filmmaker and film distributor I wasn't gonna read all this
- 1:48:26
but it's um real informative [ __ ] here and in some impressive [ __ ] she won the directing
- 1:48:31
award in the u.s. dramatic competition at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival for
- 1:48:36
her second feature film middle-of-nowhere becoming the first black woman to win the award for uh for
- 1:48:42
her work on selma Duvernay became the first black woman to be nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Director and
- 1:48:49
also the first black female director to have her film nominated for the Academy have her film nominated for the Academy
- 1:48:56
Award for Best Picture in 2017 she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for her film 13th
- 1:49:04
and then this is what this is what's like really impressive today Duvernay is
- 1:49:10
2018 fantasy film A Wrinkle and time had a production and marketing budget
- 1:49:16
between 150 million and 250 million making her the first black woman to
- 1:49:21
direct a live-action film with a budget of that size she's just trusted most of the people
- 1:49:28
that I most of the people that I pick are will be producers executives and
- 1:49:35
people that are just trusted with large sums of money to produce and that just
- 1:49:42
continuously produced and she has done just that so I want to recognize her and say that she is a huge inspiration to me
- 1:49:49
and where I would maybe like to go shout out to ava yes she's from good pick i'ma
- 1:49:56
go with Damon John probably mostly known for the founder of FUBU start at full
- 1:50:02
moon in his mom's crib learned to sew from her they mortgaged the crib to get the capital so beanies and t-shirts on
- 1:50:09
the app so they ended up getting a deal and I from my perspective changed the entire clothing industry period for sure
- 1:50:20
and obviously went on to do a lot more investing and a lot more business in that I know a lot of people know from
- 1:50:26
shark tank too but but Daymond John I think is a great example of starting
- 1:50:31
something from the ground up and changing changing an entire market yeah
- 1:50:40
hungry shout out the Dayman man really horrible monopoly player but cool guy
- 1:50:48
I'm gonna salute Dorothy Dandridge this week she's one of the first successful black women in Hollywood she was the
- 1:50:57
first to be nominated for Best Actress at the Academy Awards and um yeah so one

- 1:51:31

- 1:51:56

- 1:52:49
didn't make that ll is still killing
- 1:53:00
this might be old older tweeted someone just retweeted nothing nothing is dumber to me than when certain hip-hop heads
- 1:53:06
analyzed some silly [ __ ] I said in a song in a serious way if I said some silly [ __ ] on a record it's because I
- 1:53:11
meant it to be silly big la these guys walk into coming to America movie
- 1:53:16
expecting to see training day you're dumb as [ __ ] Peter Rosenberg no it was
- 1:53:23
more than just peed they killed him for that though I think you started no he didn't put big lay in there it's art it
- 1:53:28
kind of rhymed with silly to me first of all that was my line big Joey no Joey
- 1:53:41
big Joey try to rob anything boy when he
- 1:53:48
got no yeah and that was your line though big Joey I'm saying that was my song and I thought that was a good way
- 1:53:53
to start the record and clearly they did - they drop the beat out they did true
- 1:53:59
the producer definitely said yeah I'll drop to beat it right there I want to
- 1:54:05
hear that I went in Def Jam so mad when that record drop I'm like seeing this is why you can't he went in their head
- 1:54:10
sprung how many free throws and at that
- 1:54:20
time I just thought that beat was so crazy I was such a huge Timbaland fan of time he was on fires like you giving
- 1:54:26

- 1:54:34

- 1:54:46
single get out mad some [ __ ] kailani was like so much misinformation spread I was like back checked all your Larry sure
- 1:54:59
why he felt the same way we went to his home so much misinformation was spread
- 1:55:06
[Music]
- 1:55:13

- 1:59:25
disappoint me bug it it disappoint at all I've been at the edge of my bed for all three episodes and I want to give it
- 1:59:32
away but the whole Thomas said this sounds like something the mob would do
- 1:59:38
Here Come episode 2 pretty good sure his last name was Columbo I was like alright mmm
- 1:59:44
saw this coming how the [ __ ] did we not know about this or maybe y'all know about this and I was too young Joe talked about under before no you throw
- 1:59:50
him out the trick oh uh just this whole story yeah go watch it I gotta watch this [ __ ] yeah they've been particularly
- 1:59:56
in taste cuz it's great is it it's really good I didn't think that it was that big of a deal she what Sam they was
- 2:00:04
passing around million dollar tickets like they was party flyers hmm like it was your anniversary
- 2:00:10
here's a mil huh no but then how the winners lives changed afterward and the
- 2:00:17
funniest part for me is just they were sending the winner in there with the winning ticket with the fake winning
- 2:00:24
ticket and any one thing they didn't really what the world yeah they weren't them in random McDonald's just telling
- 2:00:31
them you know how to lie and get the lie off but these are not trained professional enough Liars and these are
- 2:00:36
people that thought they was really winning some [ __ ] so this is just funny to watch is this funny watch real good and man y'all kill me with this episodic
- 2:00:44

- 2:01:24
it's about a bunch of couples well it's a good reality show and people fall in love behind closed doors and then marry
- 2:01:29
people and it's absolutely insane
- 2:01:37
so what else happens to each other from like different rooms yeah so they put up they start off in rooms in the couches
- 2:01:44
and cry and fall in love how long were they in these rooms two days they fall
