- 4:20
be Mike Joe is here he might tell me Mike Joe is here now you guys can fight over the egg now let's get right into
- 4:31
most trusty looks that before you only time is the empty aux cord around to what you won't let the fight happen take
- 4:41
take control you have to take charge we've had malls trust issues on our list here for seven weeks well no no it
- 4:48
wasn't my trust issues it was your theory on how much trust issues could have no it's how do you deal with
- 4:57
because all y'all and relationships so no no issues by suppressing them hate to
- 5:15
have trustees and tell me what I have never been in a religion with me I'm not
- 5:32
doing this today no we're not doing [ __ ]
- 5:37
is you talk about now you want to tell people you like them [ __ ]
- 5:43
I have you figured out yeah just met me we was on one day that's my trust issues hey mom I may
- 5:52
have trust issues what I'm saying is I don't allow them to leak out into new relationships I handle those on my own
- 5:58
and as they arise I address them i express myself I communicate though that
- 6:03
it's not an issue that sounds like a good tinder profile but what really happens yeah I suppress them to myself
- 6:09
right 72 I then okay what really happens
- 6:14
goes a strip club since you're asking is I project them oh whoa a Napoleon drink most men would
- 6:19
trust issues like they try to be controlling like they try to [ __ ] always be around and make sure they have
- 6:25
something hangover [ __ ] I do the opposite I some because of my trust issues I step further back and watch you
- 6:31
and wait until you do something really stupid so I can confirm everything that I already thought before I met you I can
- 6:37
relate that you can do the same Rijeka relates that I give them all the space and freedom to operate as they would in
- 6:44
their own free will I just saw that I can know how you operate on your own free will that is a great strategy but
- 6:51
the birth of it stress issues yeah that's how I handle it I like when we show me who they are the guy do whatever
- 6:59
it is you would do if I wasn't around I want to see your show me well for someone we don't like that because they
- 7:04
that could be taking is you're not that interested in them absolutely that that's the conflict like you you're too
- 7:09
nonchalant they don't know and it's just like what you mean like I just I wanted to know who you all want to learn you show me that I can't trust you but
- 7:17
sometimes when we don't like going through that phase they feel like you know you should just jump into it trust in them if they say what does the woman
- 7:22
have to do to show you that you can trust her what does she have to do yeah you said show me this it's not one
- 7:29
particular thing I think Trust is something that's gained over just time in actions and you know communication
- 7:35
like you said and just knowing where y'all stand with each other I think that's how it's observing what what the
- 7:40
result of her you know going out and doing her own thing with her own people and no no no no no which I my trust
- 7:46
issues I am both of you gentlemen just said just brought an examples they had
- 7:52
to do with someone else but we carry our trust issues not like if mall is not dating women because he has trust as you
- 7:59
stand in don't matter what somebody else is doing but what do we do about our own trust issues that's what I'm asking but
- 8:05
I think that doing the distancing thing kind of is a part of that it's a part of
- 8:11
that process of dealing with your trust issues because hopefully things will turn out well I agree yeah but if you if
- 8:20
you step too far back jump in what they
- 8:26
had to say if you step too far back and I don't want to say test the person but at least
- 8:31
have some real-life experience with them how are you gonna answer those questions just letting them do whatever the [ __ ]
- 8:36
they want to do and me just I go ahead that's not really putting them in a situation where Trust would be given or
- 8:43
taken from no I think you misunderstood not letting them just do whatever they want you give somebody space and you
- 8:50
observe and you know I mean you just learn more about a person because sometimes where you move them in and
- 8:56
observe oh that's probably the best place to learn all that too but you know
- 9:01
sometimes you have to let people give people that space because you don't want to put that pressure of you know
- 9:07
somebody feeling like they're on the interview yeah and they have to you know when you're on the interview it's like you know you don't put your best foot
- 9:13
forward and that's not really who you are during the interview like when you go get a job that's you didn't they're performing well man you have never done
- 9:19
interview we've just had one for interviews if I'm here but we have to start letting audience know I've had
- 9:24
regular jobs before you don't want room yeah I worked at three I worked at the
- 9:30
hospital okay I worked at on worked at the hospital I work for uh convenient
- 9:37
those only popped up I was able to stock with a stock boy at a weight loss in downtown ok you know some of you that
- 9:45
was it you know the probably still but that the hospital was probably my only
- 9:50
real job I had to like interview Human Resources and all that like I had to go sit down like and sit in front of
- 9:55
somebody and really an interview for a job but yeah that wasn't me in there like the juice for the first week once I
- 10:01
got the job patty who what did you tell them your your weakness was my weakness trusting I said my weakness was a No
- 10:09
you work you just work too hard I care too much no my weakness was on the orders wrong
- 10:15
with you that's a question no I just
- 10:24
trust an operative I know what girls always gives you that when you ask them
- 10:30
their flaw what does that even mean I
- 10:39
get attached I slash your tires I
- 10:45
smother and then blame it on you that's not a real answer those are my favorite
- 10:51
[ __ ] that saying the most toxic [ __ ] in the world and don't even help I don't know how to forgive no no this won't
- 11:08
work your brother stole I never allow anyone to do me wrong but that's not your
- 11:13
choice are you talking about I'm telling you now I'm spiteful and I'm out okay
- 11:21
thanks for telling me girly psycho [ __ ] I'm spiteful sometimes I get physical
- 11:28
okay glad you're honest
- 11:35
yeah Dayton is nasty don't move it's tough dating know it's tough
- 11:40
anything right now no you can't really get baked right now oh no no not right now that's a date Oh can you really
- 11:49
don't know I've heard people facetiming and ordering the same dish at the same time that's how do you like doing that
- 11:57
in the restaurant you don't know course now you got a little self you get in
- 12:02
that I'm getting some differently every time you want to try guys talk about the veal on on FaceTime
- 12:08
that's nasty but I guess that's the new way there's no way I trying to meet and get to know somebody or you could just
- 12:15
say [ __ ] invite him to your crib FaceTime is actually I think FaceTime doesn't get the appreciation that deserves
- 12:20
I was trying to talk about this idea
- 13:24
again I see again our we know we are so
- 13:53
for every time you say is it the type of guy you think I am I'm gonna say the type of God think you are so you go first how come you always target only me in
- 14:00
these instances only we're talking let's
- 14:06
do it why wouldn't you say that you always be quiet like girls kids they can [ __ ] him I just said he's though when
- 14:11
you gonna come see me I know that's Gerard's let me think now who Molly's in parks and I had a life before this where
- 14:17
we would [ __ ] off absolutely I was a little more primitive back there yeah
- 14:22
made by l.b BM was crazy you see could
- 14:27
just [ __ ] open away messages hell yeah so much spicy no way message absolutely
- 14:32
I was sure he was mad at you oh my god no not those socks come take always
- 14:48
socks but not his favorite ones oh you know the baggy ankle socks go to work
- 15:01
yeah actually yeah I think that'll be a reoccurring theme this podcast type of [ __ ] you I will get back to ok alright
- 15:08
so where do we begin happy belated birthday Brianna Taylor
- 15:13
let's do that round of applause applause
- 15:19
in the world Jesus temporary down some happy belated birthday Brianna Taylor gone but not
- 15:25
forgotten we love you and we miss you Queen thank you thank you also while we into that I think they are
- 15:34
they reopen that case what I read yes they did that will not be enough we need
- 15:42
charges and convictions yep I've read a lot of stories about one of those cops
- 15:47
involved in that one he's another racist piece of [ __ ] shocker their plot twists not a sexual
- 15:53
assault sir I think I read too yeah yeah yeah that's his back sexual assault bag nasty [ __ ]
- 16:01
but yeah happy belated birthday to Brianna Taylor I want to start there um sign the petitions donate if you can
- 16:08
there are a lot of resources out there to do so the fight is not over
- 16:14
absolutely not I do like you know certain things are happening certain things are moving but
- 16:21
um baby steps yeah I'm just I'm just I just again organized plan I think that's the
- 16:29
things that we need to start really focusing on a unified yeah because obviously I don't think you can
- 16:36
realistically we can't be in the streets protesting everyday right but so how do
- 16:42
we move from this phase but to keep the fight going
- 16:47
I mean and I think it starts with us I think we have to start number one investing more into each other in our
- 16:53
community yeah especially financially I think that's a another step that we need to take is just in investing more money
- 17:00
into our own neighborhoods and it's our own know people and pushing people encouraging people you know I think
- 17:07
that's the next step that we need to take the financial aspect building businesses and working more with each
- 17:13
other I think yeah I think just bring there's a lot of different factions kind of fighting for the same thing we need
- 17:19
to stay together and stay focused absolutely I agree totally agree I think
- 17:27
no we need more for you could you wipe that's fair that's fair no I think
- 17:34
awareness has certainly been helping more than it ever has before this case
- 17:40
being reopened I think there's a lot to do with awareness and Sherin [ __ ] and actually doing the work
- 17:45
so the more this is shared the better results have been at least for this week that I've noticed so I hope that
- 17:51
continues carry on yeah thanks Ruby the moment you walked in the
- 17:59
door today and you stared at me and started talking I see what Joe's on today he knows once he's gonna attack me
- 18:05
all day everybody not just worry now what attack move I'm thinking still it's
- 18:12
coming don't worry all right all right man come on let's get right into the real [ __ ] man last week llll gave it to
- 18:20

- 18:25

- 18:35
thought the king was gonna be quiet I did I did I got nothing from him
- 18:44
indicating he was good this was coming I've seen this guy biscuits yeah I've
- 18:51
seen him [ __ ] climb houses be spider-man I've seen him act mmm I've seen him I've seen him party I've seen
- 18:57

- 19:36

- 19:44

- 19:49

- 19:58

- 21:04
his man Gio passed me to sharpie somebody passed in the Sharpie keep he
- 21:10
might add a few sharpies wrote everyone's name on his body spelt incorrectly definitely spelled incorrect
- 21:16
that's difficult to do like writing backwards no he has a team for sure the
- 21:21
squad helped him so why is his goatee crooked with no further ado barbers in
- 21:27
the quarantine or it's off keel I give to you the speech that will change the
- 21:36
world racism is over by Monday you heard a Martin Luther King and now here at this
- 21:44
game they say a black man was killed but destroying these buildings has to stop
- 21:51
destroying these buildings is the least of your worries an innocent black man should never be killed by a cop this exact you you
- 22:00

- 24:59

- 25:07
people just connected them and that's how it is now oh you have to give me the back story of what ok we'll connect them here I don't
- 25:15
know much about him comedian that black people don't really like Oh gotcha yeah real story now I've never met this
- 25:28
young man I see he's pretty active he's pretty successful out there I follow him I enjoy his comedy uh and I do think
- 25:36
it's important now for people to utilize their platforms left with out sharpies
- 25:43
yeah this thing got attacked by Sharpie
- 25:50
only back look I get it you know he has a huge platform I
- 25:56
respect this if we weren't in such a
- 26:05
serious time I was gonna go take a sharpie and write all over myself and and do this you have to wait more I'm
- 26:13
glad you did naw crudely put them over the tattoos yeah this is just the same
- 26:20
it just this ain't it so this is very cheesy but I do have respect him for
- 26:26
using his platform that thing is going over your head let me rewind now you're
- 26:36
doing the wall and this quit to do the wall and dance savage on tick tock hmm

- 27:29

- 27:38
like absol me too we all love that absol
- 27:49
11:48 the morning we know we don't know but it's important to know is it yeah yeah I gotta know if you be high and his
- 27:56
thinking is a little I hear third doors without you yeah this guy went over your head to go through absol says and I
- 28:07
quote they killed Floyd in May weather
- 28:13
coincidence probably conspiracy maybe spread the
- 28:20
good word fight the good fight protect your neck love y'all
- 28:26
he's got a point there's any any signed it there of yours Joe know this was AB -
- 28:36

- 28:49
whether you can follow him it's definitely yeah so and stay up to date on his on his thoughts and what's
- 28:56
happening in his world wait what do you want me to stay up to date what he might
- 29:03

- 30:19

- 30:25

- 30:32

- 30:38
morning go you go I just saw that Jordan the Jordan Brand
- 30:44

- 31:10
I'm riding against whoever Eve getting the jokes at the moment that's big the
- 31:17
highlight because people do you know over the years they said that Michael Jordan doesn't do enough and you know that's hard that it's always good I mean
- 31:25
some people ain't donate nothing honey million is it the Scottie oh why don't
- 31:32
be a Scottie Scottie has made bread yeah don't hate a thing - Scottie why look at that future come through he
- 31:39

- 31:52
Mike laughs Mike had left early you like been gone for years and future is
- 31:58

- 32:05
support social justice anti-racist initiatives round of applause without it I think um cheated as well I think I saw
- 32:13

- 32:49
more money right at the end of the day Oh goodness gracious um well that was just
- 32:56
reading some [ __ ] uh who's donating yeah oh no no that wasn't [ __ ] that was what the
- 33:02
[ __ ] was about to get into no no we did absol stop trying to have us go back in on our black brethren look at you at
- 33:10
a time like now you think they haven't time for that tree no drew brees come on
- 33:17
give it to me in cape town cape town football and Rory I still don't know what Rory is defending drew brees mall
- 33:24
is defending trina I have no idea which Mina did you know Trina has a radio show
- 33:30
with Trick Daddy 99 Jamz mm-hmm and they were having a conversation during some of the protests and Trina is
- 33:40
words can we find Trina's words all y'all want me to talk and look for it at the same time Trina
- 33:45
um Trina had some disparaging remarks about some of the protesters and not the
- 33:50
protesters but the people that were looting and rioting I guess a friend of her store got all messed up so she felt
- 33:56
away um Trina also has family that has passed due to black-on-black violence is
- 34:02
what came out in that speech from me she sounded hurt and let me qualify I like Trina a lot I do I do she's
- 34:10
always been super sweet any time I've ever met her any time I've ever seen her um you don't really hear her name and a
- 34:17
whole bunch of [ __ ] outside of whatever kya says um but she seems to just really
- 34:23
mine her business and trick is my family and I'm repping for Miami Florida you knew her no time of this this was the
- 34:28
first time I guess because more rappers are getting radio shows and having mics put in their face to talk and not make
- 34:36
music that we get to hear just more how artists feel and during her speech she just sounded real hurt to me sounded
- 34:43
real hurt I won't pretend to know about what but she said some things that offended the black community she
- 34:51
referred to the protesters not the protesters but looters and rioters as animals so we thought and she went on to
- 35:00
say that what did she say dad glad he's dead they need to make the curve
- 35:07
at 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. that's how I feel she said the curfew from miami-dade County is currently in place from 9 p.m.
- 35:14
to 6 a.m. keep everybody off the streets these animals off the streets acting like they escaped from a zoo locked them up at
- 35:20
5:00 p.m. so the streets can be nice and clean protests in Miami like in many cities across the u.s. have been largely
- 35:26
peaceful that's not her quote anymore that's the thick of it that's the thick of what she said people
- 35:33
didn't respond to it too well naturally they took offense to all of that animals
- 35:39
off the streets talk when referencing black people understood she came back
- 35:47
the next day and apologized along with I won't say cleaning it up but she
- 35:54
elaborated or clarification did her point clarify I apologize sincerely to
- 36:05
everybody I offended on what I think I spoke passionately about how I felt
- 36:12
about people destroying our community here in Miami Florida at the a County
- 36:17
deputy city that yes I was speaking about the community I'm not trying to take away anything from anybody that has
- 36:23
been harassed or bully or views or anything from the police that's never where I was coming from or any type of
- 36:31
ill intention whatsoever and I can see where that was insensitive so I apologize for that also because in no
- 36:37
form was that what I meant so I take full responsibility because it was a mistake he came off wrong I did say the
- 36:44
right thing so I understand what people are in a tecmo or feeling that way but I
- 36:49
would never ever say my people black people our people are animals that's not
- 36:55
true though um I don't know Trina
- 37:01
personally let me say that so I can't say we're her heart lie I do choose to
- 37:09
believe that she spoke in a moment of anger and frustration I do choose to believe that she spoke
- 37:16
originally not the apology that she spoke from hurt and just I'm not gonna make an
- 37:27
excuse because it was extremely insensitive and it boy did it sound away it sounded really bad and self-hate is a
- 37:35
real thing so yeah we stood at attention when we heard one of ours refer to us as
- 37:40
animals and I gotta say it's really shocking that so many people are having
- 37:47
a hard time regice registering that if your first priority is the stores that
- 37:53
are being looted and vandalized and not the black man who lost his life then
- 37:59
that's where I issue is that's how you come off insensitive Trina that's how
- 38:04
you come off insensitive drew brees that's how that's how you come off just a tad bit tone-deaf if you are more
- 38:12
angry at the rioting and the looting then you are over the loss of human life
- 38:18
then that is where our issue line did the job did y'all have any feedback on
- 38:24
on the Trina [ __ ] what she said backlash I don't know Trina either but you know just I'm just somebody that listens I
- 38:31
try to listen when people speak and not just react to you know the reaction of
- 38:37
the room you know whenever we speak about the situations and somebody says
- 38:42
things like thugs and animals you know that's not I don't take that to mean they're talking about black people I
- 38:49
think they take that to me you know whoever is out here destroying properties people's businesses homes you
- 38:55
know she just wasn't happy with that that doesn't mean that she was talking about black people that we're doing that
- 39:00
or you know what because it's not just African Americans it's not just black people that's out here looting protesting rioting whatever we've seen
- 39:08
white people doing it we've seen you know multi multiple races doing it so I think that people just you know
- 39:14
sometimes because it is a sensitive time and you do jump to just automatically assume she's speaking of black people or
- 39:19
they're talking about black people I'm not one of those people when somebody says thugs I don't think they're just referring to black people I don't I'm
- 39:26
not one of those guys like and we do know thugs are is not just race specific you know mean like we've
- 39:33
seen the you see so you know a lot of the times when people say things depends who's saying it it doesn't
- 39:41
matter who's that we all felt no we all know I'm talking about words and their
- 39:47
meanings the word thug is not race specific yes not gender specific the
- 39:53
word shouldn't be animal is not race specific shouldn't be or gender specific right so what I'm saying is we told my
- 40:01
just patrina said I'm just reacting to what Trina said I don't think that she was referring to you know her black
- 40:07
people that are upset I think she was referring to the small groups of people who are just out here tearing up
- 40:13
properties tearing up people's cars businesses whatever they're tearing it up she's saying she just doesn't like
- 40:19
that by definition word because that's the wrong that's wrong what if Rory said by definition I want
- 40:25
to correct like what my definition no it's not very specific but certain people that use it are using it in a
- 40:32
race specific way got it that's what I'm saying I'm just I'm just speaking on I'm speaking on Trina don't know I know I
- 40:38
don't know I know yes I'm just saying a lot of other people use the word thug and animal and they're talking about a
- 40:44
specific race yeah okay that may be and that may be in this case I'm just speaking of what Trina said I'm
- 40:49
responding to with Joe's animal did she say suck I mean I know she she said animals he said right so you know people
- 40:54
because it is a sensitive time so people are you know they're quick to jump on it
- 40:59
and think that oh she's talking about her own people like that and you know sometimes you got to just listen to what
- 41:05
somebody's saying and to me when somebody says animals I'm not just thinking race specific because I've seen
- 41:12
you know Latinos tear a property and loot and all that I've seen white people
- 41:17
do what I've seen so it's like I'm not just jumping to race but again I may be the only person in the room that's
- 41:24
listening in that way because I'm I'm and this time is very important that we
- 41:30
think you know I mean people are in so in foot folder full of rage right now and want to react and want to just lash
- 41:36
out is but it's old and I understand that rightfully so but it is also important that we think and we listen to
- 41:42
each other in a time like this because things could get misconstrued things can spawn out of control like you know the whole thing with the
- 41:48
the with the Dyckman situation that could have gone a whole nother way quickly moreover under oil topics
- 41:54
no related coming right out just relate I'm disabled people you know because
- 42:00
they came at us oh yeah because you know we're from New York we visit Dyckman we frequent Dyken whatever the area but
- 42:06
it's like we have to just think and listen and just assess the situation before we react and that's all I'm saying with the train of thing I don't
- 42:12
think she was attacking I mean from what I know about Trina she loves black people she's she's a black woman you
- 42:17
know I mean she's lost family and friends to violence in Miami so she she
- 42:23
has a system also where self Akins them from um maybe again I don't know Trina
- 42:30
well I'm not screening I'm right what we're thinking about this situation so I understand that that's where self a can
- 42:36
come from I greet you on that but I'm just saying that in the time when you use them together right so when you say animals and you
- 42:42
know you're not specific and you go into how it was black people that kill your
- 42:48
family and the death it's a death what is the difference the tone of it uh in totality in totality and and that and
- 42:55
that's where I think the problem is with what she said is that it was all a collective of what she said but I'm just
- 43:01
speaking specifically to the animal part of it I don't that's not race I don't
- 43:07
think your Gina's don't think that Trina's malicious I don't think she was saying that either but I mean to your point of saying we we've seen every
- 43:13
single race loot and riot when they do it and media covers it the word animal
- 43:19
is reported differently yeah it's it's crazy kids lost a game and it's white
- 43:24
kids at University of Michigan mhm like people are very specific in the words that they use that's why animal
- 43:30
and thug mmm can be triggers to people because oh no I people use those words I get to avoid
- 43:35
other words absolutely but I'm speaking specifically to Tremont is she's that type of woman yeah but I don't know
- 43:41
personally but I just don't she doesn't come across to me as that type of a woman that would be talking about black
- 43:46
people with animals I don't think that it's important to use your words carefully during these times to her you
- 43:52
know to her and people that speak use your words carefully
- 43:58
absolutely it's also important not to alienate allies and would be allies by
- 44:04
attacking before you I agree that we need unity absolution take this made a lot absolutely start alienating people
- 44:10
that are really for the same cause as you right are just channeling it in a different way or miss speaking listen in
- 44:19
today's times a lot of people going miss speak like everybody has a platform that most of us are not used to having none
- 44:26
of us have a audience that we're not used to speaking to and we're in a time that we've never been in before us hmm
- 44:32
so it's new it's old it's difficult but it's new and it's tough listen I said
- 44:39
last week on here protect your energy combat all that [ __ ] because yeah man it's really difficult now like it's
- 44:46
everywhere it's everywhere you look everywhere you turn every clip really horrific clips out there yeah both video
- 44:53
and audio let me say oh sure I'm from the school of filter all that [ __ ] I try
- 44:59
not to look at any of it but this week for some reason I did and they're all
- 45:06
bad let's see where do we start I saw people standing in front of their
- 45:13
homes just reporting on the National Guard coming in town and the National Guard's shooting at them while they're
- 45:18
on their property yep it's nasty yep I've seen the police in Buffalo yeah
- 45:26
that was really hard to watch with a 75 year old man yeah I was head lead and push them one cop tried to help other
- 45:32
cop push that cop away from helping yeah well he was pushing I think that cop was saying get out of here I'm assuming they
- 45:39
uh I guess they suspended the two gentlemen that did the pushing and now 57 police officers have walked out in
- 45:46
defense of the officers getting system you know the original report was that he tripped and fell correct deuces yeah get
- 45:53
the [ __ ] out of here greater this 5070 y'all it didn't help a 75 year old man right on our soil then by Oh from what
- 46:04
the reports say witnesses and you see this gentleman having one of their helmets in his hand it appeared that he
- 46:09
was trying to give back a helmet to them he has one of their riot helmets in his
- 46:14
hand and he's trying to talk to the two officers who then both push him down yeah completely unnecessary
- 46:20
I read a story from one of the medics on one of the scenes of a protest where
- 46:26
where they shot a gentleman in his head with a rubber bullet which are extremely
- 46:31
dangerous by the way and there being a bullet it's coated in a thin coat of
- 46:37
right there it's apparently intended to be shot at the ground to ricochet up at people's legs to you know stunned them
- 46:43
or meanwhile they're fired shot directly shooting people in the head with rubber bullets head brains are bleeding um but
- 46:52
they shot this young man in the head protestors were trying to bring him to some type of safety or some aid and then
- 46:59
the cops began shooting at the people that were bringing him to aid and one of those people being one of the aides on
- 47:06
the scene who knew all of the sign language and the codes and had the rubber band or whatever let them know
- 47:13
hey I'm working the scene right and they shot at them as well this whole thing
- 47:18
about trapping people on bridges is disgusting yeah that's happened a lot in New York the audio of saying just run
- 47:25
them over yeah oh wait don't put that on the air yeah the audio of that the audio
- 47:30
in Chicago when the cop was like hey I got gang members are shooting at each
- 47:35
other and it was like let him do it that audio was pretty disturbing um I
- 47:42
was like we've been saying man there's they're filming it now and we're seeing it now
- 47:47
and the shocking part about all of this is I mean this can't really be about how
- 47:53
much about race is this is how much is this about race if our white allies are
- 48:00
being treated like they are black because they stand with us yeah there's
- 48:05
a whole lot of different fronts at this point it's it's a race thing it's a people versus police thing in
- 48:12
a political thing there there's a million fronts it's capitalism versus the working-class I think yeah yeah I
- 48:20
think most importantly it is the the people versus the police system it's the system of the police departments across
- 48:26
the country I think that's what people are protesting against so it's not you
- 48:31
know it it's it's past just me and a color thing now because we do have you
- 48:36
know a bunch of races that are in arms with the black community fighting this
- 48:42
cause because they understand that is wrong so then now I think the police are looking at it like well the people are
- 48:47
unified now so now it becomes the people versus the police you know it's
- 48:53
unfortunate man you know man is this it just show but again it's it's not surprising I mean for us you know we
- 48:59
growing up we've dealt with police all our lives it's just beautiful to see that people are united people are
- 49:05
standing together well that's what I want to get into Moll did we pay this this week right we paid we bought those rubber bullets
- 49:12
so you shoot us with exact we bought that tear gas - you're gassing us with right it's unacceptable New York State
- 49:18
just suspended habeas corpus meaning you don't have to go in front of a judge
- 49:23
within 24 hours you can be detained indefinitely without seeing a judge
- 49:29
which is extremely [ __ ] up extremely [ __ ] up it was bad when that was
- 49:34
already in place people trying to see a judge yeah as an excuse to do it because
- 49:41
they don't have people in physical places to see the judge they have to do it be a video or remotely or whatever so
- 49:48
the thing is before all that it started before the George Floyd protests and all that is jailing stuff they were already
- 49:54
having a problem with jail right right so how do they even have the capacity to arrest however 600 700 people a night like
- 50:02
we're y'all putting these people I don't even have the manpower to do this you can't pull on this place you can't pull spades and play spades
- 50:08
all right I'm an amazing Spade player so that's just a fact you can't do both you got to pick one these [ __ ] want to
- 50:15
pull up the bridges shoot at the protesters as they trap them on a bridge lock everybody up like what are y'all
- 50:21
doing in append emic right in a pandemic independent
- 50:27
or it's about them gassing immigrants and ice detention centers which is also pretty horrific people having allergic
- 50:33
reactions to whatever they're using to detoxify or whatever the facilities it
- 50:40
there's a lot of [ __ ] up [ __ ] happening here yeah I saw a story about
- 50:45
the neighbor in DC they let everybody in his house during the protest that was awesome yeah yeah I teared up well that was great
- 50:51
that was a protest bunch of strangers a fight not so much a protest at that point whatever the DC police did I want
- 50:59
to say there was tear gas I'm bald with that as well I'm sure they seem to be using chemical agents yeah liberally
- 51:04
they had to find a place safely to go because everything else is blocked off well while we are celebrating the
- 51:15
birthday of Brianna Taylor and celebrating them reopening that case and
- 51:20
before we get to some of the signs that are encouraging because there are
- 51:26
encouraging signs this week I don't want you to think that it there's horror everywhere all 50 states have protested
- 51:33
first time in American history we'll get to that in a second countries as well worldwide this is the biggest protester
- 51:40
saying has ever occurred yeah I want to get to some of the signs of hope
- 51:45
after I shed out some of the other people that we still need justice for remember Joshua Brown yes
- 51:53
homeboy that took the stand hmm and they say what did they say the drug dealers killed him if you just go through all
- 51:59
these stories and get what the white people told us happened this is both them jeans man our men our man both you
- 52:07
know rest in peace both of them who else do we have wait a minute wait a minute wait
- 52:13
a minute no you need the trans man that was murdered by police shout out to all
- 52:18
our trans listeners man rough timing rough time out there had been a rough time out there for y'all but I'm with
- 52:25
y'all absolutely Kendrick Johnson the case in val/val
- 52:32
Valdosta Georgia that was the high school kid did they save committed suicide because he took his sneaker off
- 52:38
in the gym and put in the middle of a mat and somehow he just rolled himself into a mat and died
- 52:44
and his organs were and when they told us yeah that's what they told us they have footage of two white dudes walking
- 52:51
in the gym and out the gym still ruled it's a suicide it's nasty a lot came out about that
- 52:57
case which we made briefly touched on it last month or maybe we spoke off mic about that about the cover-up on that
- 53:04
one and the person that they have an interest and who his father was and their connections with the police and
- 53:09
getting rid of the tapes from that gym that case is insane
- 53:15
I don't remember was falling the words sayin it's fought his father's company
- 53:24
did here you gotta be kidding me and his father had something to do with the local police in that town that case is
- 53:31
just as insane as we thought it was when they said he killed himself inside put me on record all of the cases
- 53:38
are insane I'm at over Sandra Bland's u-turn yeah yeah I wrote a like all it
- 53:43
is is nuts I read a thing in MPR they said since January 1st 2015 twelve hundred and fifty two black
- 53:50
people have been shot and killed by police and that doesn't include those who have died in police custody or killed using other methods
- 53:57
that's a nasty step that's insane Tom Lahore sport young lady who went to
- 54:04
that adult sleepover with seven white woman and three white men and was found dead and beaten the next morning not a
- 54:09
peep about it who else do I read
- 54:16
something online about a la venta Johnson I believe I'm pronouncing the
- 54:21
version Johnson yeah correctly the woman that the United States Army said killed herself in her tent 2005 in 2005 had a
- 54:30
broken nose black I lose teeth burns from a corrosive chemical on her genitals to cover up evidence of rape
- 54:36
and a gunshot wound and he said it was suicide all of these stories are insane
- 54:43
so I can't I can't feel I can't shout-out Brianna Taylor and not shout
- 54:49
out some of these other people I hope I hope that we get justice for them all same let me say we will get justice for
- 54:55
them all now weird to maybe go from that to some of the signs of encouragement
- 55:01
last week I came in here and I've not told you Moll I said that it's just dawning on me that in my life and both
- 55:07
of my son's lives this won't be fixed and then I left and I wasn't sure if I
- 55:15
felt that way anymore just with some of the like parks at 18 countries standing
- 55:21
with us in protests Australia protest in [ __ ] London protest in [ __ ] in
- 55:27
Arras New Zealand protesting all 50 states protesting I was grateful for the
- 55:34
drew be the drew brees mishap and [ __ ] up cuz that's New Orleans that you [ __ ] up in and you're in a locker
- 55:41
room full of black people and I don't drew brees much like Trina kill me if you want I don't believe that to be
- 55:48
racist I believe it to be a mistake and it's a mistake that white people will
- 55:55
make because white people some of them don't know they don't know yeah some of them don't know it's okay and I would
- 56:00
their focus is on them so - drew brees his experience a selfish one is to stare
- 56:07
at the flag and only think about his two grandparents right that have fought in the war and came back to an amazing
- 56:14
country for them to be embraced in I was really so any when I first so he's
- 56:20
thinking I was very selfish still it but I drew brees I still in pretty view and don't get it twisted drew brees has done
- 56:25
a lot in the city of new all in New Orleans he's not remember Katrina not yeah he's done a lot like I remember
- 56:31
that's why I'm like yo this man alive who's with felon felon family's on their record okay and getting them jobs like
- 56:37
he's done a lot I've been mad at white quarterback since the Kaepernick situation though cuz I feel if Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady or
- 56:44
any of these white quarterbacks would have took it Annie you're taking a stand at the time Jerry Rogers after the fact
- 56:50
did mm-hmm so I salute him for that but if they'd done something at the time and I said there's never been in that podcast the whole conversation would've
- 56:56
been completely different yeah for sure completely different and these are all gentlemen who rely on black people to protect them at the line
- 57:02
and receivers to go out and catch the ball and make rising plays running backs everything like how do you rely on black
- 57:08
people for your career and your your praise and won't stand up first thing I thought when I read there that lock the
- 57:15
go throw the ball to your granddad it's a tasty meal nobody wanna see that [ __ ]
- 57:23
and I looked at his offensive line and if they don't protect them well drew
- 57:29
brees quickly listen man drew brees and Trina some of the best cyclists in the
- 57:34
world immediate backpedal an immediate immediate backpedal rightfully so very
- 57:42
next day I appreciate that one apology but two apologies from Drew Brees for the first one was asked that was your
- 57:48
publicist we can tell when your publicist is doing it yeah pictures from your publicist I know cuz Ian sends me a
- 57:53
bunch of corny pictures just like that every day to post I don't the black and white hand in front of the blue sky this
- 58:01
is gross come on No two of the most smooth is hands you ever seen they couldn't posted some hand models fam
- 58:07
don't go get a hand model during racial tension conversations please drew brees please please oh yeah so this was real
- 58:13
nasty I won't even read it but by the way this also back to read the room and
- 58:19
who you should hire there needs to be more black publicists this is disgust this picture is insane that's a very
- 58:25
good poetry like this is a white publicist that's completely tone-deaf even though their job is to be the
- 58:30
opposite and try to guide you through the public yeah it's such a great you found its expanding you found a Getty
- 58:38
image of a white this is like a comedy sketch right that someone would do that
- 58:44
maybe a car - sarcastically joke on people that do this [ __ ] yeah like you put a white hand in a black hand baking
- 58:52
together behind a blue sky I will say that I hope that he learned something and grows from this and hopefully
- 59:00
educates and spreads a positive message from what he's learned out of it I will say that gonna take a couple 15-yard
- 59:07
penalty but it's still [ __ ] you're absolutely right parks I'm so so sick of hearing it but I hope he grows and
- 59:13
learns from it because even that's why privilege you're right yeah you're absolutely right we got a good
- 59:19
shot and died and I'm not trying to press the room no I absolutely understand these [ __ ] get the [ __ ]
- 59:24
to learn from some [ __ ] [ __ ] I posted a quote on IG the other day that George
- 59:31
who gave him up I was reposting I didn't give it up someone else gave it up and I thought it was a really good quote but
- 59:36
you stole that uh yeah I guess reposting a stealing let's do I mean there's credit at the bottom though should you
- 59:46
say was hard my audience is so much more massive than yours that I'm gonna give it to them yes from you yes that
- 59:55
learning about racism is a privilege as opposed to experiencing it yeah yeah
- 1:00:00
which very much would be the case here like damn yeah I guess I didn't realize that black people fought for the country
- 1:00:06
in World War two and came back to discrimination instead of heroes [ __ ] all right maybe that flag isn't the same
- 1:00:12
when I stare at it we've also seen so many veterans and soldiers stand up for
- 1:00:19
cap that I feel like it's not very weak excuse to say hey my grandpa fought in the war when there's plenty of veterans
- 1:00:25
that say no this is why we fought in the war mm-hm the whole point so you couldn't heal correct yeah I think that
- 1:00:31
was his absolute stupid [ __ ] point but a point it's a stupid point that your
- 1:00:36
grandparents for you about your [ __ ] granddad who gives a [ __ ] with your
- 1:00:42
granddad no it didn't in response grace like with your granddad well I'm about to say the same thing Whoopi said the
- 1:00:48
same thing with your Sherman said the same thing with any black person who said if your granddad fought next to
- 1:00:53
some black [ __ ] who came back home and couldn't vote that's the end like
- 1:00:59
this conversation is not about what your granddad did right right and when did cap kneel well you're 26 so four years
- 1:01:08
ago okay the fact that we're still saying hey no one's taking away what
- 1:01:15
people did for this country at war cap is kneeling for how black people are
- 1:01:20
treated by the police right the fact that that's still lost in this
- 1:01:25
conversation two football players at this point you're just yeah the quarterback
- 1:01:32
just say no way no way it's just saying no way bus good call McCracken and nose
- 1:01:38
and say it's a flip to the football players it's in there you expected them
- 1:01:46
to all right I get it I get I get where you going well I wasn't going it Rory made me do it that's why she that's why
- 1:01:53
she I wasn't doing it Rory knew where I was going and safe kill him dude I did
- 1:01:58
it bring King Thomas a king bed Frankie
- 1:02:04
back bring King back back [Music] [Laughter] so yeah drew brees listen I was shocked
- 1:02:11
I was I was shocked by happy that all the football players found a real eloquent way to let drew brees know that
- 1:02:16
they were peeved in him yeah like I'm glad they all didn't curse him out I was happy and read curse them out because that's just who I believe that read to
- 1:02:22
be Shannon Sharpe adopted an aunt - yeah yeah yeah Shannon Sharpe she'd be up for
- 1:02:29
a contract renegotiation soon he should get all the good all to him he'll get it welcome Jakes Jenkins also had a couple
- 1:02:36
videos that were they're pretty awesome but he accepted his apology no drew
- 1:02:42
brees did apply the three apologies actually the locker room the first fake published this one and the one on video
- 1:02:47
I'm that manager Bruce I'm not yeah I'm not it was a moment you gotta feel it from his point of view his
- 1:02:54
perspective which was selfish a little bit so you know you got to understand that but again over the years if you've
- 1:02:59
just been following drew Brees and things that he's done in the community of New Orleans it's hard to sit here and
- 1:03:05
try to convince me he's not Kevin Spacey's racist [ __ ] yeah very disappointing though yeah it is it's
- 1:03:11
extremely displayed I don't think I don't I don't walk away from this thinking that Drew Brees is racist I don't think that I'm sorry
- 1:03:19
disappointing but it did it's disappointing but I just yeah I just don't I don't I don't fit I give you net
- 1:03:25
black then you're not ever really gonna get that fight which is why which is why
- 1:03:31
a lot of times with athletes white athletes say things I don't get so worked up because I know you're just
- 1:03:37
never gonna understand it by stoners and how you you interact with black people you work with black people these are
- 1:03:43
your brothers on didn't team me you wear the same colors you know what I'm saying for four decades he's been playing football for
- 1:03:49
20 years all right and it's been at 70% whatever black league for the entire time how do you
- 1:03:54
not have some understanding I'm more so upset that he still didn't understand well they're lined in football they may
- 1:04:02
be aligned in their Brotherhood they may be aligned in their passions I don't think so often it comes up where
- 1:04:08
hey what side of the Trump fence are you on like I don't know how often that comes up sure with them on out often
- 1:04:15
they hang like it just depends on where people have certain [ __ ] on their list
- 1:04:21
like you could be fly with someone and something that y'all vehemently disagree about just never come up it could be
- 1:04:28
very possible very co-worker sq I mean I mean even though it's a more violent
- 1:04:34
game where you kind of need that connection a bit more than you would in an office but they may have very well
- 1:04:40
may have that co-worker we just talked about the playbook and then we keep pushing I'm not gonna kill let me tell
- 1:04:46
you I'm not gonna kill drew Brees because of what I believe about him mmm and I'm not gonna kill the Saints or
- 1:04:53
that locker room because Malcolm Jenkins along with Michael Thomas everybody did
- 1:04:59
what they had to do immediately they were proactive they didn't wait and wait to the season started right and wait
- 1:05:04
till coach called they got right to it I knew Mike Thomas sensitive ass we're gonna get to it because he [ __ ] tweet
- 1:05:10
about everything and good good but it's different from it's different from Tom
- 1:05:16
Brady been running around mag in everything for years his team don't say a [ __ ] word in well patron I don't
- 1:05:24
think are allowed to say anything in that [ __ ] organization but that's another conversation period certainly
- 1:05:29
not about Trump because they're their buddies crafty they had a lot to say on an or an end as doc but we won't get
- 1:05:36
into that fair enough I won't again did you guys see the Barack address yeah watch it did
- 1:05:43
you see his opener powerful opening
- 1:05:50
is a powerful opening from the opener when I watched it was just shocking that Obama had opener that's a good good one
- 1:05:57
man openers are under Brady need a good opener that's a fact do we know he was a good opener he was
- 1:06:02
whoever he was he was great I didn't remember his name so I don't have it check your local news station I hate the
- 1:06:10
news news but it was good good good to hear from them good to see them good to
- 1:06:17
see the opener it's good to hear from somebody who's that like F sits right oh
- 1:06:23
man listen my forum or someone that can speak directly to the issue because they've experienced it that's okay
- 1:06:30
like that's another thing that's a constantly heard white people on TV tell
- 1:06:35
black people how they should feel about something they've never experienced or someone who can just speak to the issue
- 1:06:41
yes yeah yeah like I don't care if you've experienced it or not can you speak to it can you lead us
- 1:06:47
through this so that was good that was good to hear from rock good to see him that's all I had with that yeah this is
- 1:06:54
just good to see them good to hear from um more come on how long you want to avoid this daikon conversation get your
- 1:06:59
cape on good cape on there um that's not appointed I don't think it's a cape situation I just again you know we got
- 1:07:06
it it's important that we we don't be so quick to react because you got another
- 1:07:12
thing that people need to realize too is caping there are a lot of people are gonna throw false narratives around a
- 1:07:18
lot right now they're gonna try to take the attention away from what the objective is here they're gonna try to
- 1:07:23
you know direct the energy into other areas so you got to be careful of things like that to this situation tell the
- 1:07:31
people what the situation was yeah tell them what Dyckman is they were pretty
- 1:07:36
big on to tell them what Dyckman did well they know because they let us know that they know but anyway Dyckman is the
- 1:07:42
area in Manhattan it's a large Latin community and a few days ago some uh I
- 1:07:51
think some black teenagers or young men were walking through the area which is not a you know nada it's a normal thing
- 1:07:59
for black people to be indictment but uh they were walking in a the video shows that they were obviously
- 1:08:05
chased or they're always home to kill 20 and you just had to say that yeah this
- 1:08:10
is happen don't do that don't they what normal for black people to be indictment it is people made it seem
- 1:08:17
like it was me we have a big audience that knows nothing don't even know what mic minutes exactly so I'm just some give some background on what documents
- 1:08:24
yeah so yes nothing out of the norm for black people to be walking around
- 1:08:29
Manhattan because that's all right no
- 1:08:38
black people be up there video came out there was normal it was a normal day I don't know what the day before that they
- 1:08:44
rant the day before that I'll get a backstory they've ransacked for them in the Bronx which was a large Spanish
- 1:08:50
group of kids as well now the Dyckman community had heard through the
- 1:08:56
internets that the next stop was daikin again false narratives after Fordham
- 1:09:01
they were coming and Eichmann to do the damn thing now that's confusing to me because Fordham is a bunch of shopping
- 1:09:08
stores mouths long of just stores to steal from yeah with glass windows again
- 1:09:15
full and furniture false narratives being put on that little store will you [ __ ] go and get your bed from that
- 1:09:21
store is done I saw the video the
- 1:09:28
diamonds on the headboard you know the one the glass in table knows what they
- 1:09:36
were in there broke all those hit beds yeah broke all the in tables the glass you knew he was gonna be when he walked in
- 1:09:42
there you ain't broke law that [ __ ] up so the next day they was saying they were gonna go to document so don't
- 1:09:48
natives Dyckman got together the community of Dyckman homegrown community some of the community a lot of the
- 1:09:54
community got together and they had a meeting with some of the cops up there and a lot of the cops that they I'm not gonna let [ __ ] just kill the cops up
- 1:10:00
either they let me use the phone when I was locked up on Dyckman they let me use my cell phone they
- 1:10:05
handcuffed me to the are they handcuffed me to a desk and chair and let me look
- 1:10:11
at things they didn't put me in the zone uh we had a show in holding sells only at the show no this is when I
- 1:10:16
had to turn myself in for false allegations okay and I did that and they were nice they were kind they expedited
- 1:10:22
me downtown I was happy that that you know it was the cop that was cool a little bit but they had a meeting with
- 1:10:30
the Dyckman cops and they were prepared as a community for looters and rioters to come by here at night and a video
- 1:10:38
surfaced of a mob of [ __ ] from Dyckman
- 1:10:44
chasing out what seemed to be just a group of black kids who weren't looting
- 1:10:49
weren't rioting weren't doing anything and boy did that cause a mess on the internet boy did that put a bunch of you
- 1:10:56
and my mentions again false now right they I was home some of the things that
- 1:11:02
land y'all and my mentions are so confusing to me but you'll be in Declan I am NOT the president of Dyckman mayor
- 1:11:08
I am NOT the mayor of Dyckman I am NOT represent governor of Dyckman mascot I'm
- 1:11:15
not the mascot of Dyckman remember the [ __ ] y'all not a dyke men you Frank
- 1:11:23
winner I'm not an investor Alterman not
- 1:11:40
the alderman of nothing this is my issue with this podcast when I try to get serious y'all bring all the jokes to me
- 1:11:47
and more brought Beyonce to Dyckman that's a fact it's a more brought
- 1:11:56
everybody to Dyckman listen man I grew up and more all grew up in Dyke night no not in Dyckman I grew up in the Bronx
- 1:12:02
all the malls X's are from Dyke meadow they're not well you can't anybody from Dyckman it's small oh no
- 1:12:11
I'm not bad like I can go to like I don't know anymore no I know just not that my phone was ringing odd then I but
- 1:12:17
again this was do you need me to accompany you no I'm safe you know it anyways this again this was something that uh you
- 1:12:23
know just too again just running with things before I really know what's going on I have a
- 1:12:29
bunch of friends I have family indictment in the Bronx and one thing I can say is that you know a lot of the
- 1:12:37
Latin community loves and identifies with black and black culture so you know
- 1:12:42
the narrative that Dominicans don't like black people of Puerto Ricans don't like black people that's a false narrative
- 1:12:49
that the internet just ride around with us overnight it's a false narrative I grew up with I was actually in my on my
- 1:12:55
block I was actually only one of two black guys on the block all of my
- 1:13:00
friends that I grew up in red were raised with with Dominican and Puerto Rican and I can tell you from firsthand
- 1:13:05
experience their families accepted me like I was one that is to this day I can go back to the block and all of the
- 1:13:12
older people out there they know me they love me that don't mean that this was not racist America Velen I'm not saying
- 1:13:18
there aren't and they're racist everybody so what racism is everywhere but I'm just saying that the narrative
- 1:13:23
that this was like how all Dominicans on Dyckman fit was I told Eichmann his races and that's not true but this video
- 1:13:30
was disturbing it was the sermon I'm not saying it's not no it was painted well of this this
- 1:13:36
is the Tao old Spanish people indictment fill about black people that was false that's all I'm saying
- 1:13:41
because it's not true that was it that was a very no that cannot be true although that's and as though I'm saying
- 1:13:47
it was all it was a small group that you know saw some some black kids and for
- 1:13:53
whatever reason they felt like oh they might be here to cause trouble because we don't know them cool fine if that's how y'all feel cool but don't paint the
- 1:13:59
narrow gate oh it's not okay but don't say that don't don't paint the narrative what I'm saying don't paint the
- 1:14:04
narrative that Dominicans or Puerto Ricans that's a sweet you don't like that like that's that is not true and I
- 1:14:12
can tell you that firsthand it's very false that's gonna it's very community and Dyckman from my experience
- 1:14:18
and and when I say my experience I'm not speaking on the racist Dominicans or racist Puerto Ricans or just who do
- 1:14:26
exist they do because they they do exist but that's not my experience right and
- 1:14:35
just because I've never experienced it I'm not saying doesn't happen it's not true to our some races everybody this races people from
- 1:14:42
all over the world but what I'm saying is I don't I want to squash the narrative that was painted from this one
- 1:14:47
isolated incident that too many cans of Puerto Ricans indictment don't like good and I'll say they did their best to
- 1:14:53
squash that that narrative did that of video painted as well quickly well what
- 1:14:59
exactly happened in the video you guys haven't said exactly what happened well uh people from the black community that
- 1:15:06
obviously knew the young gentlemen that were chased out of their day went uptown they have them I the original video well
- 1:15:11
both both the original video and then the original video video you could see a group of black a group of black people
- 1:15:18
without how many men and woman there were being asked asked to leave by a mob
- 1:15:25
of Dominicans what photo because I don't know what everybody was but blank yeah
- 1:15:31
everybody was black but it was a mob asking this small group to leave even
- 1:15:37
though they were not they didn't appear to be looting they didn't appear to be rioting now when that video was
- 1:15:43
circulating and they was killing up there you know the first thing I did say to myself was what if they didn't touch
- 1:15:49
him no they didn't because we would have had that video yeah if they did that yeah so they didn't touch him and the
- 1:15:56
next day apparently these gentlemen came back with a few more people you know and they squashed it mm-hmm they had a peace
- 1:16:03
treaty they talked about the misunderstanding they filmed a video with the gentlemen arm then the Dyckman
- 1:16:09
[ __ ] shot a video without the gentleman just saying yo don't let none of that [ __ ] that they was talking about an
- 1:16:15
internet get to your head we love black people wear black we identified and then nothing like that is happening over here
- 1:16:21
and I will say when I visit the blocks that I visit over there that shall remain anonymous it's family
- 1:16:27
I don't know now one of them [ __ ] mmm not a one but it's a I think I'm smoking
- 1:16:33
about this on this podcast even before just on my dad's old block in the Bronx
- 1:16:38
[ __ ] the block that blocks I go to indictment where community is
- 1:16:43
responsible for community and I like that mmm I like that part community policing is is extremely important
- 1:16:50
absolutely I think really important and I do like that part with the exception of targeting any any
- 1:16:57
ethnic group right that seems to be just strolling by right yeah outside of that
- 1:17:04
yeah but I'm glad they did that I'm glad they did that I'm glad they got to the bottom of this this is one of the things
- 1:17:09
that weighed heavy on my brain this week I won't lie to y'all yeah about a lot of y'all it's like well it only weighed heavy because I know exactly you know I
- 1:17:17
frequent these places yes so I know how this could have turned out like this
- 1:17:22
could have turn into something that would have spilled into the summer very bad and just being out in that area and
- 1:17:27
you know the back-and-forth like it could have got ugly and that in the
- 1:17:32
peace video yeah it could it could have got ugly man and again I and nobody wants any of that
- 1:17:38
no and I some of my best friends in Dominican someone but my best friends are Puerto Rican and like I said I grew up with them it's we all the same trust
- 1:17:45
me they identify with black culture love black culture just as much as we do you know and I think that was the important
- 1:17:51
thing to come out of this was that you know sometimes it takes for stupid [ __ ] or dumb [ __ ] to happen for something
- 1:17:59
positive to happen and I'm just glad that it wasn't something that was you know crazy or violent didn't take place
- 1:18:06
I'm happy that didn't happen I'm happy that dis got squashed I'm happy that people came forth from the community
- 1:18:11
both communities and said listen man we together like don't did it they not gonna put a try to divide us because you
- 1:18:18
know they try to do they try to divide us we all black don't need difference between us and Dominicans is a stop in
- 1:18:24
the islands let's bring it let's let's bring it full circle to some of the
- 1:18:30
positive things because there have been signs of encouragement is what is what I was saying like they have been small
- 1:18:38
signs that maybe give me some some sense of hope that my youngest son can grow up
- 1:18:43
in a different world than I did and one of those signs was all the different
- 1:18:49
communities coming together now naturally when that happens it'll take on the personality of the community so
- 1:18:56
Dyckman this was beautiful when they fixed it absolutely when they got it right um but the [ __ ] the [ __ ] I seen in
- 1:19:03
Philly with the white do running around with bats talking about they were protecting the police and that made me not Philly Pennsylvania because
- 1:19:10
I don't know what part that was so don't don't I'm not checking that was nasty but just the stories I'm reading about
- 1:19:17
this town Vidor veter old or whatever Texas yeah son downtown that is nasty
- 1:19:24
but I do I do think that communities coming together gangs coming together people just people humans coming
- 1:19:31
together is a great sign I knew I think the protesting in 50 states along with how many countries 18 I believe along
- 1:19:38
with 18 other countries that's something that's beautiful yeah my hometown which
- 1:19:44
I've always known to be a police state three prisons there I've talked about on the podcast poor Elmira New York
- 1:19:49
they had a huge black lives matter protest today organized by a young man named Amar'e green so I want to shout
- 1:19:54
him out I thought it was in Queens bridge there are so many people 30,000 people there's thousands of
- 1:19:59
people out those beautiful peaceful police were supportive so you know
- 1:20:06
that's a positive thing they have they have they have black lives matter painted on the streets of
- 1:20:12
DC and bright yellow along with they've changed one of the signs on a Main
- 1:20:19
Street to black lives matter in DC again small gesture but it shows something it
- 1:20:25
tells something yeah um the drew brees thing with more white people than I can ever remember even
- 1:20:33
attempting to understand what's happening mmm it's a plus yeah the video
- 1:20:38
running around of the little girl explaining to her dad wider racist pieces of [ __ ] even if it was theater
- 1:20:45
mmm it's a sign you know it's a sign of something and I said for a while that I
- 1:20:52
thought this pandemic was preparing us for something greater I thought that the
- 1:20:57
pandemic saying hey everybody sit the [ __ ] down and reflect was preparing us
- 1:21:03
so the combination of the pandemic everybody being home unemployment being
- 1:21:10
through the roof just people's normal being [ __ ] up combined with a seeing
- 1:21:18
and real time black people plead for their lives as they're being murdered I think
- 1:21:24
it's I think it's awoken a a sense of compassion in people that were
- 1:21:32
struggling in that area before that's what I'll say yeah I agree I think it's just funny how we went from you know the
- 1:21:38
social distancing thing and then now to hug that neighbor now it's like we literally like you know arms and hand in
- 1:21:46
hand with complete strangers from different walks of life and different communities all fighting for one cause
- 1:21:52
it just shows you know when the world decides that we want to come together and change something and do something for the better it's possible but it
- 1:21:59
starts with us yeah you know there's still a lot of work to be done but it is like Joe said it is uh steps in the
- 1:22:05
right direction absolutely yeah republic removing the word urban big deal it's a
- 1:22:12
huge deal it is I mean a round of applause follow I've always thought that word that word and the use of culture in
- 1:22:18
sports we know the racial undertones it's nasty that word we know that word is nasty Republic says they will no
- 1:22:26
longer use that word in their departments and they urge other labels to follow suit
- 1:22:31
which I second that I second that notion and I think they would I urge other labels to follow suit as well yeah and
- 1:22:38
not just only the labels the platforms that categorize it that way as well in
- 1:22:44
Virginia they're knocking down the statue of the revered Ely yeah all right I don't know if it's gone but it's
- 1:22:51
planned to be on its way to being gone okay I think I sees a couple of those
- 1:22:56
monuments supposedly with plans to come down awesome I mean how can you how can
- 1:23:01
you attempt to tell us the fabric of America is one way and the people that you celebrate and acknowledge our
- 1:23:06
statute all over the [ __ ] right and named every single building after now move these statues the [ __ ] down I
- 1:23:14
thought that was real big of them in Virginia yeah that's a huge huge deal
- 1:23:19
and the speech that he gave I'm sorry and a speech that aw the speech that the
- 1:23:26
mayor to governor who knows one of them game saying listen we can no longer be defined by our history like if we know
- 1:23:33
that history is wrong and we all do right then when do we stand up and make
- 1:23:39
a change to actually do something about it to update the system like the fact
- 1:23:44
that he used that word update things it's the word we've been using a lot around here big problem in America they
- 1:23:50
won't update update things so people are viewed a certain way I thought that speech was really big and I'm glad
- 1:23:56
they're getting that statute of [ __ ] addy I hope that trend continues look but it's a sign of hope yeah it's a sign
- 1:24:02
of hope and just uh an understanding to that finally people are realizing that
- 1:24:07
just because we've had these buildings and statues name this forever uh yeah I think it's time to take him down in
- 1:24:14
North Carolina they had burnt down during the quote ride and looting last week some major
- 1:24:22
part of a town in North Carolina that was involved with slave trading and was the how could you burn this down it's
- 1:24:28
been a staple in our community forever and it was like yes the point it's time to burn it down this this entire
- 1:24:35
monument here is dedicated to what happened during slave trade so we're not
- 1:24:40
looting we're burning something down that represents the past that you guys keep ignoring or not ignoring burn it
- 1:24:55
down and board it up we're coming to [ __ ] [ __ ] up we met [ __ ] um what other
- 1:25:01
great signs are is going on oh yeah Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti how do you guys feel about this I love it
- 1:25:07
city officials cutting 100 million 150 million dollars from LAPD budget funds
- 1:25:12
to be reinvested in communities of color how what other way is there to feel about this uh well the first the latter
- 1:25:19
part of that headline was not there originally it was a hundred million hundred fifty million is being from LAPD budget yeah I always read it
- 1:25:28
with the last part okay I had read it just cutting LAPD budget was the first time I read it I did later on today read
- 1:25:34
the second part of it the first part just cutting money I don't know if
- 1:25:41
that's gonna solve anything but make police more angry and more prone to
- 1:25:47
target people but that's just a weird thought that I have just defunding them
- 1:25:53
I don't know if that's gonna have and be like well yeah no I get it now I'm not
- 1:25:58
sure that that's I feel like the budget I read somewhere was somewhere in the billions so it's not a huge chunk of
- 1:26:04
that okay that budget but I do think that I'd be funding the police's or demilitarizing the police yeah that
- 1:26:10
needs the structure of how policing exists in America itself needs to be
- 1:26:15
restructured yeah that's more what I'm speaking in rather than let's take money away no let's restructure it let's put
- 1:26:23
the money into how policing is going to work in this country in a positive manner because obviously it comes from a
- 1:26:30
place back to our slavery conversation right how it started right and it's
- 1:26:36
still to some degree structured that way well restructure is something that we
- 1:26:41
need to do in a lot of areas we touched on at the last podcast even as I continue with some of this positivity
- 1:26:46
real positive that for me the football players got together and did their own
- 1:26:51
personal zoom video to send a message to Roger Goodell I've never seen that before from you guys so awesome that now
- 1:26:59
you guys are unified and not only your feelings about the Kaepernick situation but how black people are treated in NFL
- 1:27:06
great now that you're willing to stand up to make some type of change see when you get angry enough or when you feel
- 1:27:13
enough you'll take a stand that you maybe didn't know you had it in you to take before yeah and when you see enough
- 1:27:19
other people doing it it encourages you more you know I'm saying my man okay it
- 1:27:25
just it just goes down it comes down to you just don't want to step out there sometimes alone it's a scary thing to do
- 1:27:31
yeah it's a brave thing to do so so I think that you know again we go back to just saying simply
- 1:27:36
a few more teammates would've just kneeled whipped Cap'n dick right a few more figures in the NFL would have
- 1:27:41
kneeled with them it changes everything absolutely and I think that um I think that this is moving in that direction
- 1:27:46
where people are finally understanding because it's a conversation that people
- 1:27:52
probably avoid it most of their lives sure it's like you know about you know about it but you never spoke about it I
- 1:27:58
don't think Drew Brees ever sat down and spoke with any of his black teammates about some of the issues that they've
- 1:28:04
dealt with growing up some of their friends have dealt with and I think now you know people are having that
- 1:28:10
conversation yeah your hand people talk now and you know it sometimes when you look in the mirror it you know you don't
- 1:28:16
like what you see and I think that's a lot of times with white America tried to avoid it is you know they knew about it but they just kind of didn't want to
- 1:28:23
address it in and talk about it because you'll see that the truth and the truth is ugly and I think that now
- 1:28:30
people are starting to say listen it's like I said black people such a forgiving people this is what we've had
- 1:28:35
endure my ancestors mom my family like we've had and all these things just my grandfather fought in World War two he
- 1:28:40
ever came home can vote had to eat outside couldn't say that account and he you know me so when you start to give people that truth and they take it in
- 1:28:47
it's like damn you know I mean like I didn't really think about it that way because you didn't have to I think I
- 1:28:56
think this is the the part where you have the uncomfortable conversation the awkward moment you get past that and you
- 1:29:02
get to change yeah and Joe to your point with the NFL I love that they can now
- 1:29:08
speak this freely without fear of being blackballed the way Kaepernick was when the whole thing happened right like it's
- 1:29:14
not taboo to be able to speak about it and fear that there'll be some backlash where I'll no longer be employed by the
- 1:29:22
NFL or live out the dream that I've been working on my entire life listen NFL
- 1:29:27
doesn't doesn't go on without some of those players in that video if all those
- 1:29:33
players decided you know what I'm gonna sit down for a while NFL would survive which leads to my very next moment of
- 1:29:40
encouragement and this is one that not too many people are talking about but I like this kid so I've been watching him
- 1:29:45
that Mikey Williams kid mmm consensus number one player in the 2023
- 1:29:52
dress oh my own HBCU fam that's a big pull up his quote please listen
- 1:30:00
sometimes deep now I've been watching him just because this is the swaggy-spunk [ __ ] ever seen play like
- 1:30:07
we saw Sian dunk on every white kid that was available in high school this kid
- 1:30:12
just looked like he just be slow-motion serving dudes and I'm 15 so what you
- 1:30:18
gonna do about it hey I'm not sure how old he is but and some of these young kids a [ __ ] like me
- 1:30:24
can spot that thing mmm yeah that thing you have that thing in you that can
- 1:30:31
either make life really hard or change the whole [ __ ] world hmm and when I read this paragraph from this
- 1:30:39
kid well first of all him saying hey I might go to HBCU he said that about five
- 1:30:44
times this week in different places at different times urging his peers here and listen he's
- 1:30:51
not the first of its kind for me Brandon Jennings is in that boat all these
- 1:30:57
little little dudes that's doing the jeely thing bypassing college they're in that boat Mikey says and I quote this
- 1:31:05
has been a thought for years now listen when you find one of these kids that got that [ __ ] in them yeah like they just
- 1:31:11
gonna say something like look I read this and I was stunned this has been a thought for years this didn't just
- 1:31:17
recently pop up in my head see he letting you know he nuts and he's 15 I thought for years 15 16 and been
- 1:31:24
thinking about this for years what a lot of coaches don't understand
- 1:31:30
is that we don't need them all so crazy thing
- 1:31:37
[Music] [Applause] can you imagine being a sixteen year old
- 1:31:43
number one all-american player instead check this out coach yeah I'm doing you
- 1:31:51
a solid and I'm right and I'm not healing yourself right yeah what a lot of coaches don't
- 1:31:57
understand is that we don't need them we control our own narrative and caps I'm very thankful that God blessed me to be
- 1:32:03
in a position to do that we write our own stories we determine what the next page in life is going to be why does it
- 1:32:10
always have to be the big universities question mark why does it always have to be the be the big names question mark
- 1:32:17
have you ever thought about helping your own people out double question mark we are the reason that these schools have
- 1:32:23
such big names and such good history banker but in the end what we do what do
- 1:32:30
we get out of it what a lot of top-level athletes don't understand is if you're a pro then you're a pro if you're a proton
- 1:32:41
you're pro no matter what college you go to even if you don't go to college if you are a killer then you gonna kill
- 1:32:48
anywhere not enough people speak on things like this and I've been meaning to do so and put some word out but I
- 1:32:55
figured this would be the perfect time to do it see he's been sitting on this yeah that's sick and amazing I'm going
- 1:33:06
to keep it short and simple I just want to let anybody know that I am riding for my people I'm ten toes down stole your
- 1:33:11
quote Marcos behind the black community any way I can help or make a change in
- 1:33:17
the black community best believe I'm going to do just that only God knows what the future holds but when that time
- 1:33:22
does come that I have to narrow my schools down or whatever number it is there will be multiple HBCUs on that
- 1:33:28
list and no they won't just be there for show hit the gun shop for Mike wood
- 1:33:35
and I might be [ __ ] his name up check his name make sure it's Michael Williams lose I just know I like whenever yes
- 1:33:40
yeah just know too many Mike Williams man I was a proud moment I read that yes
- 1:33:46
this is the mind state that changes the world yeah absolutely yeah shout out to
- 1:33:52
Mike Williams shout outs is his family he's obviously a kid that was raised right the right things were instilled in
- 1:33:57
him so that's big and I encourage all I encourage all young young athletes around the world to think like that
- 1:34:03
control your narrative yeah control your narrative paint your story paint your history
- 1:34:09
yeah no sir I come in that guitar boy that kid where this battle is headed
- 1:34:15
next is the workplace yeah yeah that's the big I don't know if people feel it
- 1:34:21
coming oh this happened but it is coming hmm actually it's here it's here already
- 1:34:28
no gap gap you know Gabrielle Union is now suing a family in another suit
- 1:34:34
against NBC so that and that show good there's a young group of music industry
- 1:34:40
professionals that are trying to take the Tuesday blackout thing to the next level to call the industry blackout you
- 1:34:46
can find them on put her in Instagram with that name but they have some pretty good ideas and I would like to see that enacted mmm yeah so yeah I'd love to see
- 1:34:54
you yeah I'd love to see him um what else is happening here Amanda seals
- 1:34:59
amanda seals announces that she will not be rejoining the cast of the real
- 1:35:05
because her soul wasn't at ease and she did not feel that did not feel that she
- 1:35:14
had a much of a voice there she felt like she was being silenced unable to be herself mm she announced that recently on
- 1:35:22
Instagram and I thought it was interesting like she said her contract
- 1:35:28
was up with the real and she didn't renew it how long was she there for not that long right not very long that was a
- 1:35:35
short contract she wasn't there very long well no contract sure she has to
- 1:35:40
thing none especially when you starting none of these companies are running around offering people one-year contract
- 1:35:47
god no that's what I'm asking cuz tonight I would never when she says and that's new that is this year so when she says uh an
- 1:35:56
Amanda don't kill me for talking about business that I don't really know I'm just freestyling but when she says
- 1:36:03
that she decided not to renew that's the only verbiage that confuses me there
- 1:36:10
because normally that choice isn't up to us normally the company has to decide whether to renew you or not and if you
- 1:36:17
don't want to [ __ ] with him then you walk away nor is a six-month contract the norm anywhere you know as soon as a
- 1:36:24
man that got there we could tell that she wouldn't be there long or I can let me speak for myself I could tell that
- 1:36:29
she would not be there in a pool hall like she was going on there being Amanda
- 1:36:34
yeah and it didn't seem like it was a place for her to be herself on that show
- 1:36:41
and that's just from the outside looking in and took her credit daytime talk show
- 1:36:48
fluffy [ __ ] isn't a man to seal all right date Tom [ __ ] is not Amanda are you calling the real big-time Soph you
- 1:36:54
sure yeah I am you don't think they'd see a call the real topic I think all day tom is fluffy [ __ ] as any day tom
- 1:37:01
show is did you [ __ ] over or do you think your fluff Joe Cena Anderson's
- 1:37:14
moving on from ESPN it appears I guess they had some beefs during the miles Garrett situation she sent out some
- 1:37:20
tweets that made them unhappy I don't know if it's related to that why she's moving on but she appears to be moving on she was a big member of the NFL Live
- 1:37:27
Crew a really good reporter and journalist ESPN is either demoted or
- 1:37:34
fired a lot of my favorite black people same I'm not saying that those fires
- 1:37:39
were racially motivated me either cuz I do not know we don't know I'm just saying that a few of my favorite black
- 1:37:46
people have had a tough time over there um I've been seeing companies get killed
- 1:37:52
all week cuz like I said all of these companies are gonna stand stand on a hey doing what we doing for black culture
- 1:37:59
and stand by you and we're in Emma I and we support and would donate money and his employees popping up then relax not so
- 1:38:09
fast there's been a guy killing mass appeal all week oh yeah it's the [ __ ] are you
- 1:38:16
talking about your staff your staff it's 95% white you want higher you want a higher black purse and you find all the black women
- 1:38:22
from there and nods is your front man hmm stop it now I don't know those
- 1:38:28
things to be factual I'm only telling you what I'm reading because I've got nothing but time did you sit home and
- 1:38:35
read that's thing I've seen a few employees say the same thing about fashion over mmm when they put out their little press
- 1:38:41
release thingamajiggy again gap gabrielle did it when NBC put their little thingamajiggy out mmm like it's
- 1:38:49
just a few companies and that that issue that issue is steam rolling this way like again when people get angry sad
- 1:38:57
hurt mad disappointed rageful enough
- 1:39:02
like if you just feel enough you're gonna start taking stands in other areas and some of these companies where black
- 1:39:09
people are having a hard time of excelling or even being hired for that
- 1:39:16
matter right that smoke is coming to your door the NFL will eventually have to do something about this Kaepernick
- 1:39:23
[ __ ] on him because all of the analysts this week have basically been saying damn he was right mm-hmm
- 1:39:29
no it ain't been done it uh-oh what's what are we gonna do next enough protesting what's the next step
- 1:39:35
night ain't been a lot of that mmm it's been oh he's correct all right I'd like to
- 1:39:41
see him get a job again I would like to see all of the companies again I have to say again that participate and profit
- 1:39:48
off of black culture actually give a [ __ ] about black culture y'all stay wanting the rhythm without the blues and
- 1:39:54
that's not how it works hmm well show to Ben Jerry's a lot of us
- 1:39:59
my spirit oh I know I got an award I have an award I have awards to give out today Kanye
- 1:40:05
gets the the miniature award you get some miniature work I'm still a little mad at him from some his past antics but he did that [ __ ] he
- 1:40:11
showed up and he shut up so he hurt us hmm he didn't say a word he donate it and
- 1:40:17
boogied thank you Kanye and he was outside of the protest so many protested
- 1:40:22
mmm in a guy that was dressed like him wouldn't next to a guy that was dressed like him you know I know who Kanye was
- 1:40:31
but out there in the mask thank you for showing up this was in Chicago yay don't
- 1:40:36
think it goes unnoticed we appreciate that [ __ ] mmm um Ben and Jerry man oh
- 1:40:43
thank you no I'm not a Big Ben and Jerry ice cream guy I am but I'm ready you're
- 1:40:49
a hot now I'm bitter Jerry now no ever disrespect me don't ever disrespect my taste bud respect my ice cream taste bud
- 1:40:57
yeah Ben and Jerry got arrested they put out like a 15 page letter about white
- 1:41:05
supremacist behavior it was given up yeah Ben and Jerry donated [ __ ] they
- 1:41:11
cursed out white people they've been going for like two weeks straight Ben and Jerry yeah yeah and then 90 years
- 1:41:19
old apiece well I'm just joking if Ben and Jerry's listening I'm just joking I
- 1:41:25
don't know how old y'all don't kill me don't kill me but yeah man that was
- 1:41:30
awesome I want to I want to give a kudos award to Ben and Jerry
- 1:41:36
yeah and leggo Oh leggo gave it up leggo stood up come on man don't do that now
- 1:41:42
uh you know I was really waiting for Lego Lego Lego did it man is that check
- 1:41:49
this out dumb with the cop toys you'll even see cops right now
- 1:41:55
uh Ben and Jerry are both almost 70 there's a Lego ding may not be true
- 1:42:00
there there's some rumored Lego thing not being true well delete it parks you got the [ __ ] button for the smoke to
- 1:42:10
clear and what did they say it might not be true they didn't they didn't donate money and stop making the cop toys
- 1:42:15
an article here from brick fanatics calm says the LEGO Group confirmed sets have
- 1:42:21
not been removed from sale so whether they donate four million I don't know about that they I don't know
- 1:42:28
what you would you gotta get Lego man
- 1:42:37
alright Lego your kudos award is pending yeah yeah it's pending we will check back with it next week who else gets an
- 1:42:45
award I thought somebody else got in the word now I just had Lego Ben & Jerry's and Kanye they were saying Wendy's was
- 1:42:53
lied on Wendy's came out leo Wendy's in a pot Wendy and Taco Bell Taco Bell we
- 1:42:59
owe him an apology that was wasn't nice it was a group that owns a few Wendy's
- 1:43:05
right that donated to Trump but it was not Wendy's yeah that's important not a
- 1:43:14
lot in me to ban the loaded baked potato I didn't know what to do without a
- 1:43:19
frosty yeah I'll be honest I'm gonna be honest I have got frosty with a loaded baked potato I was kind of like crazy so
- 1:43:27
I'm happy about that shout out to Wendy's we apologize Wendy's and Taco Bell are bad are bad we'll try to do
- 1:43:32
better next time I suppose yeah um it owes all the kudos Awards that I had uh
- 1:43:39
let me see let's see you want to talk about we still haven't mentioned talked about
- 1:43:46
the run Jews album I was gonna say before we got into music it was good hear from Lauren London again I don't if you guys watched her interview with the
- 1:43:52
bread table - oh I've got one more kudos award okay we're you good today we talked about Lauren - Minneapolis
- 1:44:00
Minneapolis wow man I'm dull shitty as a whole you guys listen I told y'all I
- 1:44:05
[ __ ] with that City yeah like I'd like Minneapolis I know I can't speak about the cops I don't live there right but as
- 1:44:12
a city I love them and all week they just been trying to get rid of the cops
- 1:44:18
they said yo we don't want the cop know the last report said yo we don't
- 1:44:24
want the Goss police period we don't want police here yeah right the first one said we are
- 1:44:31
ridding the relationship between whatever the university is there that utilizes them in Minneapolis
- 1:44:37
cops and the cops and now we dead in that yeah like they've just all week been going hard at severing ties with
- 1:44:43
the Minneapolis Police Department and it's very full we're thinking it's very
- 1:44:49
forward thinking I want to shout out to all many in Minneapolis they get a kudos award as well yeah that would be great
- 1:44:56
if they would lead the restructure of policing yeah a great city to start a
- 1:45:03
new program and a great story and a great story yeah and a great great end to a not-so-great story which is George
- 1:45:11
Floyd of course yeah you were saying about Lauren London all right yeah she did um she had the right table talk with
- 1:45:16
Jada pinkett-smith I know the the nipsey clip was the one that was floating around I'm not sure if the full one has
- 1:45:22
been released but I did see the nipsey clip it was just it was just great to hear from Lauren you know naturally she
- 1:45:28
got low cuz she had to grieve and I know she's still grieving but it was really good to hear from her and how nipsey's
- 1:45:34
legacy has still carried on and how many people she runs into and the first thing they always say is how an emcee has
- 1:45:39
changed their life and how much nipsey would appreciate that but all and I was
- 1:45:44
just great to see Lauren and hear her speak through this grieving process I'm
- 1:45:50
not gonna say she's in the best place cuz we all know she's not but it was amazing to hear speak that's all really
- 1:45:58
I'm saying gonna continue to pray for absolutely in her family absolutely yeah
- 1:46:04
I commend her for even owing us an interview at all like to even get up
- 1:46:10
there and talk to anybody I think is amazing so I'm was happy to hear from her me too
- 1:46:17
prayers to Laura London Lauren London the family two kids mm-hmm all of that
- 1:46:24
Prius and Vanessa Bryant yeah friends to anybody out there that has lost somebody
- 1:46:30
this year this year has been rough work but probably just what we need it to be
- 1:46:36
honest with you in a weird way maybe so
- 1:46:42
[ __ ] not even a weird way we needle it hmm I said we needle it yeah I think so
- 1:46:51
Hey oh let me drop a jam when I'm really
- 1:47:00

- 1:48:36

- 1:48:42
yeah it sounded really really good perfect reduction sounded nuts
- 1:48:58

- 1:50:12
to be part of the much-needed change in this country without black players there
- 1:50:19
would be no National Football League and the protests around the country for emblematic of the centuries of silence
- 1:50:27
inequality and oppression of black players coaches fans and staff we are
- 1:50:35

ballots if you need to even though Trump is trying to suppress New York is wedding budget 23rd is New
- 1:55:43
York I don't know that for a fact but I think vote org is the site that you can kind of get an idea of where you stand
- 1:55:49
but if anything all this has shown us is that voting is very [ __ ] important
- 1:55:55
super June 23rd yeah super important and not to be cliche but we always mention it voting on a local level yeah I'm the
- 1:56:02
mayor's Chiefs of Police the mayor's high appoint the judges mmm all of these
- 1:56:08
happen within our control make sure you make no local voting is the most
- 1:56:13
important thing period yeah I know it's a lot of work to keep track of it so I would implore us and anybody else with a
- 1:56:20
voice to may be safer cycling through some things and make it easier for people to decipher because there's a lot
- 1:56:27
of candidates there's a lot of platforms there's a lot of [ __ ] it's a lot for a lot of people to figure out mm-hmm so I
- 1:56:33
