    all right go no no

  • 0:06

    [Music] now what is this

  • 0:16

    [Music]

  • 0:28

very different you know that it's not yeah it's extremely different conversations you having about [ __ ] you

  • 0:34

said you wouldn't have them conversations 10 years ago you know that five years ago why are you

  • 0:39

ten this [ __ ] has changed man [ __ ] is different are you having conversations about uh

  • 0:46

things you say yeah absolutely i have been having them too yeah

  • 0:51

absolutely and i mean i ain't feeling the greatest about them about having the conversations i don't

  • 0:57

like them i know it depends on what i like the conversations about the conversations yeah yeah yeah i don't

  • 1:05

    it's tough it's not that it's you know what it is i i feel like a lot of this [ __ ]

  • 1:13

that we talk about and a lot of the [ __ ] that happens is all just uh it's nothing new

  • 1:20

i just think that we hear it and see it more frequently now because of social

  • 1:26

media phones cameras that's your other line but no i do like i don't think any of this [ __ ] is is is really like when we

  • 1:32

see wow [ __ ] going on people getting kilter i feel like this [ __ ] been happening it's just that you wasn't a way for you

  • 1:38

to see it like we wouldn't know what was going on in chicago in the early 90s like we

  • 1:44

wouldn't see it we wouldn't know we wouldn't see it like when we saw uh boys in the hood

  • 1:49

that was like our or not even boys in the hood um i forgot the name of the other movie but that was like our depiction of what la

  • 1:56

was like we didn't know because he wasn't there if you're from new york it was like you weren't in l.a you didn't know so these movies kind of gave you that

  • 2:02

feeling like damn that's how i go down to l.a that's what we going on now you can open your phone and actually see real time

  • 2:08

    [ __ ] that happened [ __ ] that's going on [ __ ] that somebody said now [ __ ] is beefing on actual records like the music people are

  • 2:15

using the music as ways to retaliate and beef now so it's like now

  • 2:21

things are just it's just we just receive [ __ ] quicker and more frequently than we would of years ago

  • 2:26

because of technology and it makes you know our phones everybody is in the palm like we could click on anybody's

  • 2:32

instagram and just see what they got going on whereas before we didn't you know you you had to know you had to know somebody

  • 2:38

you had to actually be around that person like a lot of the things that these kids do when they're on the internet just doing [ __ ] to go viral

  • 2:44

we used to do some of that [ __ ] growing up like we would throw eggs at people just walking shopping on

  • 2:50

halloween like we would jump people well no we weren't trying to go viral

  • 2:56

because we didn't know what that was we was just being young mischievous kids just knew what it was that's the q 93 and i'm gonna hit it with an egg

  • 3:03

right right right but right now but now because you can record it and post it to

  • 3:08

social media it might go viral because now people are like oh that's what they doing over there they bugging out like

  • 3:14

to us it was just a moment of fun and then we go back to our our building like i told the story about how we jumped the

  • 3:19

chinese delivery guy when we ordered like 200 worth of chinese food like i said the

  • 3:25

irony in that is we weren't starving my mom cooked dinner every night but we was just young on the block and

  • 3:31

just wanted to that was just our form of just apologize i don't know i don't know the

  • 3:36

guy if he was listening right now we were young we were young and he's probably a listener yeah we were young and dumb i think he's

  • 3:42

listening right now but somebody related to him listen but what would you say to him we apologized man

  • 3:47

back then you know we knew we don't sound matter man that was stupid we were sorry yeah

  • 3:53

we were younger yeah yeah right but now [ __ ] like that would go over you alive

  • 4:01

it wasn't nothing like that so you don't think there's any difference in kids behavior of just wanting to have fun

  • 4:06

and trying to go viral well now it's like i said now is because i think there's a huge difference don't ask a

  • 4:11

serious question yet would you turn would you turn yourself in if you found out that you know you would gw yourself for

  • 4:18

the child yeah you gotta catch me i'm never making it easy for the law

  • 4:24

well i i don't think there's any statue of limitations on jumping the chinese guy i think you just admitted to a crime rory trying to get you jammed up that's

  • 4:29

what they do rory ben wanted you off yeah that's what they do they're trying to get you just get this thug off the streets

  • 4:36

he's stealing chicken wings [Music] but yeah man now this go viral [ __ ] is just you know people just trying to out

  • 4:42

stupid each other how are you going to go viral what are you going to do i'm not going to do nothing i decided myself to go viral no hell no [ __ ] outta

  • 4:49

here i don't try to go viral you got to put 20 000 uh to you to your phone to your face it's a

  • 4:55

good idea never yeah it's solid maybe doing this [ __ ] challenges the dances no you should create a challenge what

  • 5:03

would your challenge be though the sleep the sleeping and money challenge just throw 50 grand on the bed and swim

  • 5:08

right the cool challenge oh who could swim in 50 grand just just run around the city and go yo that's

  • 5:13

crazy and then run run away that's the challenge for you that's crazy why he's doing that just anyone like you

  • 5:19

just see anything in this yo that's crazy and then you run away small challenge would be mad long what wasn't that rough 50 not dollars either i brought

  • 5:25

some dough with me challenge bet 50 no i'm not doing that nothing to

  • 5:31

go viral maybe hopefully by the end of the podcast maybe we should put out like a challenge we should do a challenge yeah no

  • 5:37

how much of this reggie i could get rid of yeah yeah play us all man

  • 5:45

  • 7:26

last week because they was like joe's real excited about new music and all he said for the last six months

  • 7:31

was that nobody cares about new music the world doesn't care about new music let me let me straighten this out for

  • 7:37

you [ __ ] idiots because i speak in context a lot my point was there's a lot to cut

  • 7:44

through now and if you're trying to put new music out so you see a lot of people just doing

  • 7:50

promo [ __ ] cloud chasing trying to go viral fake little packages surrounding the

  • 7:55

single that don't work bundles just a bunch of [ __ ] but i'm hearing some music that's

  • 8:01

starting to cut through i don't know hey all right they're not feeling me

  • 12:29

  • 12:53

a lot yeah it's been a lot of reading and [ __ ] don't really talk too much so

  • 12:58

yeah everything is about the same that million that million and change

  • 13:04

every week all while switching platforms stop playing with us how are you guys

  • 13:12

  • 13:24

yeah and i don't mind talking about the weather usually i say we have listeners outside of new york but i think the whole world is frozen right now that's a

  • 13:30

good point definitely sixty percent it's it froze over at

  • 13:35

yeah absolutely that's just some wild [ __ ] going on out there that was a mistake by the way yeah we

  • 13:42

could throw a gunshot for texas on that while you're doing the texas i mean it's a open carry state

  • 13:47

they have their guns which they enjoy they're a little cold right now but you know shout out shout out to texas prayers to you guys

  • 13:53

yeah for real i i shared some stuff on my my platform and how you can help but yeah i feel really bad for them with

  • 14:00

the the way the politicians are acting towards their plight as well as that's got to be rough

  • 14:05

cancun we pay for your [ __ ] salary we elected you into office and you're saying go [ __ ] yourself and

  • 14:12

are you new here well true and then politicians yeah yeah politicians every time

  • 14:31

nearest and dear forward thinking uh digital forecaster uh head of equity some [ __ ]

  • 14:38

i like your sweater today oh thank you rory it's nice it looks warm is that cashmere no it's not but it does it does feel

  • 14:44

good is it wool no no i don't know what it is but it's not wool and it's not cashmere okay

  • 14:49

so you got a t-shirt that's nasty sauce at least you got a beater on it you

  • 14:56

ain't got no t-shirt on under that that's nasty so so i'm just letting you know right now if you ain't got no t-shirt on

  • 15:02

today a wife beater that's nasty wait what nasty you go bareback with the no i i

  • 15:09

wear a white beater under my sweaters a whole t-shirt yeah i'm not a teenager you're supposed to wish i'm an adult i'm

  • 15:14

supposed to wish not because you don't want that well if it's wool or something then it's like itching on your shoulders and [ __ ] trust me on this one you're supposed to

  • 15:20

wear it you still wear a t-shirt under your polo too you're supposed to wear a t-shirt underneath your sweater and you are kind of supposed to wear one

  • 15:26

another polo too for what it's worth yeah all right guys that's all but it is

  • 15:32

a good sweater though it is a good sweater riveting content gotta help with the sauce man

  • 15:37

uh save on put on our twitter let's do a poll do you wear a wife beater or a t-shirt under your sweater

  • 15:43

polo and we can't we have to stop saying wife beaters that is true they killed us about that what's the

  • 15:48

proper term tank top tank top okay a shirt i've never seen it

  • 15:54

    i'm not sure i've never seen a shirt isn't it a shirt a shirt i've i've never said a shirt a day in my

  • 16:01

life they shouldn't start now it's confusing that terminology is confusing i got some real good guys here with me

  • 16:06

today rory is here parks is here erab is here maul is here savannah's here

  • 16:11

and uh alex is here gentlemen how are you doing how you feeling great because the uh greatest app in the world just uh it's got our back

  • 16:18

brought to you by powered by empowered by enabled by tolerated by sponsored by

  • 16:25

none other than our favorite app cash app uh so what's up y'all the goat i've been getting a lot of use with the cash app

  • 16:31

it's it's fun playing playing with the the bitcoins and the in the stocks

  • 16:42

i feel like i'm getting the game that i should have been getting into a long time ago 2021 my barber finally is taking cash up

  • 16:50

nice but having to go to the atm for 20 [ __ ] years finally i can chose the barbershop

  • 16:57

without cash peasantry it's great i don't keep cash on me more it kind of sucks

  • 17:02

the barber the barber cash thing is a kind of a nostalgic thing though like i think most barbers still

  • 17:07

appreciate cash i judge any barber who still is taking cash judging on what

  • 17:12

sounds like a good way to get out of taxes to me yeah i'm sure

  • 17:19

and there are a lot of people that are not carrying cash at all now i know i used to think dudes was weirdos

  • 17:25

when they said that like i used to think that too yeah i used to think that something

  • 17:30

but now that i'm a little too more educated i understand why i think you should always keep cash on you i agree with you

  • 17:36

it just doesn't come up as much anymore why do you think that uh same way we was in the airport and we

  • 17:43

were all in the store and the computers and everything went down and you had food in your hand and couldn't get nothing because you didn't have cash

  • 17:48

i was the only one in the store that had cash so at that moment i was king of the store how'd that make you feel like did you

  • 17:54

announce that you were king of the store absolutely i stood right at the register said ma'am do you need something did you grab a crown from the burger king next

  • 18:00

door no i just i just i was just sitting there counting the same three hundred dollars like what's up i mean yeah he knows what yeah exactly

  • 18:07

see he's gonna compute his crap point on us everybody's gonna be sitting there like this he was the lone shark of hudson news

  • 18:13

come on i held hussein news down for seven minutes what do you want me to do i was the king of hudson news for seven minutes

  • 18:19

that's a news for you i mean yeah that is funny so you're not supposed to carry cash because

  • 18:25

one you spend it a lot faster when you have it like you can't keep track of exactly

  • 18:30

what you spent it on and the older you get they say you're supposed to just keep track of it all i'm the complete opposite with

  • 18:37

that if i have a lot of cash in my pocket i don't spend it the way i would with my card because i could feel it in my pocket i agree

  • 18:43

when it gets a little lower but you're not grabbing a receipt for everything that you purchase well i'm not regardless that's true i'm

  • 18:49

not regardless yeah but at least when it's digital somewhere you have a receipt somewhere

  • 18:54

so all of your purchases can be tracked true well i'm only taking the time to explain

  • 19:00

this because i used to laugh at people for not carrying cash me too and i was ignorant and the more i

  • 19:06

learned i was like okay at least i understand why people aren't carrying cash like right now i'm coming to grips with

  • 19:13

uh not having money in your bank account like all the people that i meet with

  • 19:19

money they don't have it just sitting so they could see it because they feel better when they could see it i was one of

  • 19:25

those people i was one of those people for a long time i'm just getting over that like all right it's there you just can't see it

  • 19:31

it exists just now it shouldn't sit there well when you start really making your money

  • 19:36

work your money doesn't sit in your account right so i had to get over that feeling once i made that transition sitting

  • 19:43

there doing nothing nothing at all yeah it's nasty no they give you interest they give you a penny every month

  • 19:50

this world's gonna be [ __ ] when when we all it's coming what's going on and i started doing some

  • 19:55

math over the weekend about just how long i could stay alive if i changed some habits i might could see 20 60.

  • 20:04

how would you be in 26 30 nights from now yeah i think you can see all right and if we talk about 2060 and

  • 20:11

what i think the world will look like then i might be around to see some change

  • 20:17

hopefully 2016. yeah fam if nothing changed in 2016 i'm just going out like

  • 20:22

grandma was like all right y'all peace take care take care of your brothers

  • 20:29

hey grandma was like hey y'all take care each other

  • 20:34

yo i was on the couch so sad grandma was leaving she was in the bed chilling

  • 20:41

ready to go boy that was admirable yeah she seen a lot yeah yeah too much ready

  • 20:47

to leave um how y'all doing rest in peace grandma by the way uh rest in peace granddaddy

  • 20:52

while i'm at it rest in peace to anybody out there who may have lost somebody that they love shout out to anybody who's fighting

  • 20:58

depression i know times are hard right now uh uh addiction and alcohol uh problems

  • 21:04

with one of my friends been hospitalized a couple times uh due to drinking during cobin so that's [ __ ] scary [ __ ]

  • 21:10

yeah yeah shout out shout out to y'all again shout out to uh to everybody in

  • 21:16

texas yeah what a week what a week we'll get into it uh and rest in peace to

  • 21:24

  • 21:29

maybe a little later than that what happened what year 93 93 okay 93 prince marky d

  • 23:13

shorty swing my way it's crazy to see how much music has changed and how much it hasn't mm-hmm right yeah that could rock now

  • 23:21

that'd be it yeah yeah that formula is still relevant

  • 23:26

today oh man we don't know the cause of death right cod no no

  • 23:31

i don't think so now that's every pod that we've done since 2021 has started there's been a

  • 23:37

death uh yeah yeah i mean well

  • 23:43

just death every day so you know that's how it happens i'd like there to

  • 23:49

stop being so many notable deaths right yes there are deaths every day well that's what happens you know

  • 23:55

that's part of 52 years old yeah that's that's really young i didn't even know that prince markdy was only 52.

  • 24:02

super young they were their kids you know when they when they blew up yeah like legit teenagers

  • 24:08

and they were one of the first big rap groups like for real for real like superstars absolutely before i knew really what hip

  • 24:14

hop was and rap was in the 80s i was a kid kid i knew who the fat boys was right you know what i'm saying

  • 24:20

like they were on tv shows cartoons yeah everything no they were they were superstars yeah for sure absolute superstars

  • 24:26

multiple movies multiple guest appearances and movies one of my favorite movies growing up

  • 24:32

disorderly that was one of my favorites hell yeah yeah i mean but yeah prince

  • 24:37

monkey d man rest in peace uh rush limbaugh passed as well

  • 24:42

i don't have much to say about that one but he did pass and it's my job to let you know who passed yeah uh this is also the one year

  • 24:48

anniversary of pop smoke's death i hate calling those anniversaries yeah um there needs to be another term

  • 24:56

for that death adversary or something it just shouldn't be anniversary uh yeah i that year flew by even with

  • 25:03

everything that happened but i can't believe it's been a year is it me or like are there people out

  • 25:10

that sound like pop smoke of course it's not just me right um yeah he definitely um he he left a

  • 25:19

imprint in a style and a sound i think he and again inspiration he

  • 25:25

inspired a sound for sure that is uh and that happened before he passed yeah

  • 25:30

people were imitating him prior to that and some say he you know he was inspired his sound was

  • 25:35

inspired by you know other music genres as well so yeah no the uk stuff mm-hmm for sure but i mean he

  • 25:43

definitely added add to the design to do something new yeah right he made it very brooklyn as

  • 25:48

did fabio and the rest of the brooklyn drill scene but pop had that

  • 25:54

complete different tone in his voice though i'm not so familiar with that young man

  • 25:59

you just showed in the screen but it does sound like pop smoke a little bit i don't know if that's on purpose or

  • 26:04

what when people do that in hip-hop i never know how to take it i never know if it's on purpose or not

  • 26:10

quick rock ski from uh fat boys is still left by the way the third member got it yeah like i

  • 26:16

never know like when gravy came out i didn't know if that was just his voice or if he was doing that on purpose

  • 26:22

was that great no gorilla black uh just happened i was gonna ask greg i mean he

  • 26:28

played biggie but i don't think he sounded like biggie when he really rapped there's a certain tone and a certain

  • 26:34

just voice a texture that reminds you about the yeah yeah although that

  • 26:41

i don't think that's stuck like at first i felt like he sounded like yeah but the more you listen they don't sound like the more you

  • 26:47

listen to sean you're like okay no yeah they don't sound like uh action with ghostface mm-hmm wes with

  • 26:52

ghostface mm-hmm but then you talk is that done no because those it's just subconscious

  • 26:59

subconsciously like it's not done i don't think these artists are trying to sound like anybody oh no i mean first of all you sound how you

  • 27:06

sound to some degree right and then it's just a matter of what you do with the sound you know what

  • 27:11

i'm saying because then some people end up sounding lyrically or whatever similar to the other person that they may or not may

  • 27:18

not sound like and that's probably subconscious like this is how this record is supposed to sound right because

  • 27:24

subconsciously that's how biggie or pop smoke or ghost face sounded yeah i don't think they're hopefully not

  • 27:30

intentionally setting out to sound like them i realized um i realized that other

  • 27:38

people sound like pop smoke i was at a kickback and i had to ask what a mistake

  • 27:43

i had to offer the kickback and i got lazy so i stopped paying attention and like all the sleepy jams came on and it was

  • 27:50

like girls there so that that wasn't a move that can go bad yeah so i just did what any guy would do

  • 27:56

in the situation i just disconnected i didn't keep the tunes going or nothing i just stopped the music out grace yeah

  • 28:02

sometimes you gotta do that and then and then the next person to grab the aux she was a girl and she was younger she was 27

  • 28:07

and she went right to drill i said why didn't i think of that yeah whoa changed the whole vibe once

  • 28:12

fabio came over yeah that [ __ ] works no no yeah those girls like the drill but then you you could have been the i

  • 28:18

don't know they shake ass to it yeah of course that's what it's meant for i'm sitting here trying to play victoria monet and

  • 28:24

[ __ ] you gonna try to make it romantic romantic and then one romantic romantic

  • 28:30

i be thinking they still want some romance they want to get drilled yeah they want to get drilled

  • 28:35

but i'm scared to go down that that lane when i have the auxiliary because i know drill on a surface level i know i

  • 28:41

know all the dope [ __ ] that the rest of the city knows yeah but then i'll be your guest that no drill i know women that get and

  • 28:48

they bag on your leg oh you're just gonna play that favio hit record right we've been listening to this eight months ago and now you that guy

  • 28:55

playing the hits right that's nasty we're the old guys yeah yeah i know what the kids like

  • 29:01

i know i'm the old guy now with this drill [ __ ] i'm very surfaced yeah very surface she took

  • 29:09

    that awesome final movie

  • 29:16

    [Laughter] [Music]

  • 29:27

i went to get some ones they could start making it rain in his living room yeah rest in peace pop smoke always uh

  • 29:35

so where do you want to begin let's begin with rap lyrics hip hop hippity the hip hop the heavy the heavy to the

  • 29:40

hip hip pop i wanted to chime in on this whole meek mill

  • 29:47

kobe lyric thing and i wanted to side with the people for those of you that don't know what

  • 29:52

we're talking about a song was released was this a baby's a little baby record i think it was just

  • 29:57

a snippet right a little baby snippet came out featuring meek and meek wrapped a punch

  • 30:05

line that said uh what is it where is it this [ __ ] i'm [ __ ] always telling me that she love

  • 30:11

me but she ain't never showed me yeah and if i ever lack i'm going out with my

  • 30:16

chopper it'd be another kobe and all the blogs picked this up and they said it was really

  • 30:22

insensitive distasteful uh just all around bad and they tore his

  • 30:28

ass up for a little bit in which he replied man y'all soft those weren't his exact words oh here

  • 30:34

are his exact words um somebody promo a narrative and y'all follow it y'all internet antics cannot

  • 30:41

stop me [ __ ] like zombieland or something lol they're paying to influence y'all now

  • 30:46

it's almost like mind control wake up okay i mean he's not wrong he's not wrong

  • 30:54

in his statements i do think that the line was probably a little bit insensitive but um he's not wrong in that

  • 31:01

you know his analysis is correct but not in this instance

  • 31:07

okay that was it's an unnecessary bar the bar wasn't dope enough where you had to talk about it this soon

  • 31:13

and i'm not being soft i'm just i'm reading the room of just the time right now yeah it's not

  • 31:19

being so if it was a crazy like real bar where it was like all right i get it the metaphor was way too far

  • 31:26

it's it's not a great bar and it's unnecessary uh i'm with you on that that the bar wasn't

  • 31:31

it didn't hit like it wasn't like a wow and i'm not saying anything sometimes it's not a trash bar but it's

  • 31:38

just it's unnecessary unnecessary this is a trash bar i wouldn't say it's a trash bar only because i'm not saying the punchline

  • 31:43

hear me out real quick before you explain i'm not saying that the punch line is all the way trash okay i'm saying the

  • 31:49

bars are trash meaning bar one and bar two have all okay zero

  • 31:56

you didn't that's what i'm getting right unnecessary you didn't even need to say no listen maybe if bar one was different leading

  • 32:01

into your kobe punch i may feel different well but barr won no no no no my [ __ ] is never

  • 32:08

limited i didn't hear it i didn't hear the record i don't know how he led into that ball i don't know how part parks you had the snippet

  • 32:14

but what i'm speaking to is the fact that people are you're saying this is hip-hop and it's it's it's a metaphor it's

  • 32:21

    hip-hop it's i understand i'm i'm listening that kobe death

  • 32:26

like really like hurt me like to my core just like anybody else that grew up

  • 32:31

watching code was a fan of him you know praised his family prayers to him and everybody else that was you know lives

  • 32:37

were lost in that in that horrific accident but i don't think that this bar

  • 32:43

was a shot or trying to make fun of me i don't know i don't think i don't

  • 32:48

think that you guys want me to play it's all i think that the the snippet is literally only these two bars but up let me let me

  • 32:54

play i don't know if that changes anything but sometimes and i don't think that normal i don't think he was

  • 33:03

no no rewind it play the bar before it all right that's the only part

  • 33:17

we don't know what he said before that and we all know what he's saying coming out of that so i just i don't want to get into that part of it but i do understand the internet

  • 33:24

reacting a certain way to it because if you mention this kobe you mentioning you know the the accident

  • 33:31

and it's been a year we just got past you know the i don't like the anniversary like you do and death but that just happened so i understand it

  • 33:38

but let's keep it in what it is for a second it's hip-hop it's metaphors it's plays

  • 33:44

off of words is it here is it hip-hop today maul it is that the chopper the helicopter

  • 33:50

and the chopper that meek is referring to two totally different things i i understand so it's like you know me it's it's it's

  • 33:55

just a play on word just a play on so you don't think too soon maybe too soon i'm with you on that i'm

  • 34:01

not i'm not against that maybe too lovable a guy i'm not against that either i'm not against that either but we do have to

  • 34:07

remember that he's more so i think meek was doing with that ball is putting it in the sense of

  • 34:12

we lost the legend in that sense and if i'm caught lacking i'm going out with my chopper it will be

  • 34:18

another we will lose we will lose another length i completely so i kind of you know i mean so it's like i'm not i can't i'm

  • 34:24

not i can't kill me for that bar i can't i'm not killing me either i can't i i can't kill him for the bar because

  • 34:31

i've done it too many times right yeah right and it's and you don't mean no malice with it though i don't think me also was

  • 34:36

in a different era of hip-hop true true i don't know if i would be

  • 34:42

able to do some of that today nor nor nor do i know if i would today maybe

  • 34:49

i'm still not gonna knock him for it because you at mc you come from that that's what we do right i mean that's

  • 34:55

our brains are wired to to do that especially people of a certain age because in

  • 35:01

in our age bracket all of us in the room really especially shock value bars was a a thing

  • 35:07

absolutely like that i grew up on shock value bars yeah yeah but it took me mika's also never been the shock and i think he would even say

  • 35:13

he's not the shock value bar nor is he the punchline guy oh what do you mean by that by

  • 35:21

lloyd banks this i'm saying this is this era fabulous joe budden big l but yeah but lord

  • 35:28

vanessa i can't happy birthday to the legend lord

  • 35:33

finesse but meek doesn't see me comes from battle rap so he is a metaphor he is a punchline guy because

  • 35:40

he comes from battle rap in the sense that you're speaking in his music no he don't lean heavily

  • 35:47

he don't lean heavy on punchlines i get that but he he he he he get into that but when you pop out with

  • 35:53

one again i'm not going to kill him for it but when you pop out with one it should hit a certain way i get it and

  • 35:59

more it took me a long time it took me a long time and i maybe still don't have this down pack trust me i'm not the most mature

  • 36:05

guy but it took me a long time to handle things better understanding

  • 36:12

someone else's position and what i mean by that is it's kids involved i would hate to wrap

  • 36:18

this line and one of the kids is a fan of mine

  • 36:23

and now they hear it and now that's how they heard it fab was telling the story one time on in

  • 36:29

an interview and he was like he said a line about solange and then he went to a party and beyonce stepped to

  • 36:34

him like okay like dog come on [ __ ] what are you doing right dad was

  • 36:40

like oh it's a punch it's right exactly yeah but when you thinking like the other person's listening

  • 36:46

you understand partly it might handle how yeah i understand that that's what we know

  • 36:51

i'm on the side i know me it's a sports man we know meek is a kobe fan exactly that's why i'm

  • 36:57

i'm not i'm on the side of too soon you know two you know also maybe a little insensitive i don't i don't ever

  • 37:04

want mcs to have to think about that too though yeah because that's not like i get of course

  • 37:09

beyonce is going to care about her little sister and approach who she has right in association with like come on

  • 37:14

that's my sister but i hope rappers don't have to think that i just think this one and i'm not

  • 37:19

killing me for it shouldn't be canceled i just think it was bad timing like it just it was unnecessary i'm not i'm not bad

  • 37:25

i'm not that i'm not mad let me respond to rory yeah me neither i'm with you but i'm a

  • 37:31

fan i'm not a rapper so this is a selfish fan point right i'm with you and again i'm asking questions to be

  • 37:37

educated i haven't put an album out in five years huh hip-hop today they just

  • 37:43

drove that girl mulatto through the mud for her name yeah like i'm just asking hip-hop today

  • 37:50

maybe you do have to do some more thinking than we're used to and you know what i'll tell you though and i don't think this is which is why i

  • 37:55

would fail i don't know i would get canceled was bigger because of it

  • 38:00

because it started her career yeah she to the next level that took her to the

  • 38:06

next level well from where she was she gave her she had records and people [ __ ] with her that

  • 38:12

put her that put eyes on her and because she made good music it helped because she got all that

  • 38:17

attention and also had a good cat i understand what he's saying i guess i do but she doesn't think she's had really with her name change yet has she

  • 38:24

and she had she's really put out yeah that's what i'm saying that's why i

  • 38:29

don't know if it's taken rory is just saying that it helped her create like new

  • 38:35

listenerships like new more people are paying attention to yeah big lotto i call it big lotto

  • 38:41

i like that name i just think that's flying for a girl but i mean that doesn't like the name big lotto

  • 38:48

a very talented artist so that helps when you get that attention and you have the talent to back it up

  • 38:54

yeah that doesn't always work with everyone when they get that quick attention on the timeline for two

  • 38:59

days and then it's just like whatever let me go find the next thing that's going to make me get attention right but again me i i get it

  • 39:07

but i just think it was bad timing see i don't like the bar but i like his stance on it like just

  • 39:14

standing in his ground for sure [ __ ] this and he did put out a post uh saying rest

  • 39:21

in p honoring kobe bryant kobe and gigi bryant uh their signature on the hat saying rest in peace on the dream chaser's hat

  • 39:27

so he did do that listen i'm not meek did not have any malice behind yeah i'm not like i said i don't

  • 39:32

i don't know meek on a super personal level but i'm more than positive he did not mean any mouths of disrespect

  • 39:38

to kobe his family any of the other victims any of their families i don't meek didn't he didn't intend any

  • 39:44

disrespect and this single's still not out right but you can be disrespectful so

  • 39:49

unintentionally absolutely so some of this all might be a little bit of marketing by the way and that's my other thing too right like

  • 39:55

like when you when any record sounds like a marvin gaye sample rory you'll jump uh joke and say oh careful now

  • 40:03

careful that the family's coming to get you we make that joke because we've seen a few instances where

  • 40:08

the family will come and get you right right we see what vanessa bryan is on

  • 40:15

as far as she's not playing you're not playing she's not playing with kobe's name is likeness none of y'all nike who

  • 40:22

the ring all whoever all y'all we know she's not playing right so we can imagine that if she heard it

  • 40:28

maybe she wouldn't take kindly to it oh absolutely so you can be absolutely unintentionally

  • 40:34

yeah just taste absolutely no you can be unintentionally distasteful and if meek saw vanessa bryan and she

  • 40:40

said something to him the way to be honest they said something fab i don't i don't think meek would double down i think he would apologize

  • 40:47

i think absolutely i'm willing i'm willing to go as far as to say when this song comes out this line won't even be

  • 40:53

on it i think meek is that i think meek is that type of guy i think if

  • 40:58

if vanessa bryant or anybody from kobe's family was to reach out or publicly you know express how they felt about

  • 41:05

hearing that i one million percent meek would take that line out and change it and apologize

  • 41:10

like because mika's not i get everything he's going through in the past few weeks he's not the favorite in the room sure i

  • 41:16

understand that but we're not gonna sit and act like meek is just some terrible guy

  • 41:21

like he's not you know what i'm saying and i think that's what unfortunately starts to happen is you know one thing happens something

  • 41:28

    else happens and then i was like oh this guy's a piece of [ __ ] he's an [ __ ] he's insensitive he doesn't give a [ __ ] he doesn't

  • 41:34

that's part of it probably too is that people um with the whole prison reform agenda that he was on rightfully so he

  • 41:40

was going through it i think people thought maybe that you would see a different kind of maturity in the artistry

  • 41:46

maybe or something which is probably unfair it is unfair oh yes he has that for sure for sure that doesn't mean

  • 41:52

he can't also do other [ __ ] right i still want party recommend right right but i think people may be in some in the back of

  • 41:58

their heads feel like he should be doing 444 now or something like that which that's not him that's not him and again we got to stop

  • 42:05

putting people in positions that they're not ready to be in i think that's the bigger conversation

  • 42:11

here like i feel like a lot of the [ __ ] that meek has going on he was kind of pushed into it i don't

  • 42:17

think he naturally grew into a lot of these situations what i'm saying yeah even if he even in

  • 42:23

personal relationships i think things happen in his life he wasn't ready for certain things yet and none of

  • 42:30

us you know all of us that's part of growing and maturing and becoming a man especially if you have all these eyes

  • 42:35

and ears on you it's like any wrong move and you can become the villain right and i think that's what's

  • 42:41

happening to me now like some weird way he's starting to look like he's the villain now and i don't think that's who

  • 42:48

meek is okay i'm not going back to argue i heard the fans uh we do have to close meek at some

  • 42:54

point we real quickly there's a bigger conversation i heard the fans y'all thought i was annoying last week with the meek thing i

  • 43:00

understood i listened back i sounded annoying i apologize you are annoying i agree i agree what was the meek thing

  • 43:05

last week i do want to ask if there any is any hypocrisy in what you're saying because it is kind of what i was saying

  • 43:10

with meek is still going to be meek and granny he was coming out a restaurant from what i understand it wasn't the club i went back and looked you were saying

  • 43:18

meeks shouldn't be nowhere near any club restaurant that takashi 69 can sit outside of you're also you guys are saying that

  • 43:24

meek is still himself and he's not ready for certain roles and he's easing into this type of thing

  • 43:30

kind of what i'm saying with meek is going to go where he's going to want to go meek likes to hang out where the young kids is at because he still makes that

  • 43:37

type of music meek likes to still do what meek likes to do no i understand that

  • 43:43

was there any no i understand you know anything what i said last week and i'm not i'm not being annoying no i wasn't mean i wasn't totally against

  • 43:49

what you said i think we just kind of misunderstood what we were saying i was just saying to the point of

  • 43:55

once meek exited that what was walking out of that parking lot the moment he sees this dude

  • 44:02

he was supposed to immediately run for lack of better i wouldn't say i

  • 44:08

wouldn't say run i would say retreat go back inside tell whoever is in charge of the venue listen clear that out i'm

  • 44:15

not going out there to my car until that dude is gone because you know with that moment or

  • 44:20

that energy you know what they want in that moment you know what he's looking for you can't give them

  • 44:25

that that's all i was trying to say you can't give them that moment because they're they're on a

  • 44:30

he's on a different path than me he's in he's he's in different relationships than meek meek has a different

  • 44:37

responsibility than he had i'm just saying where they're both from and the past they're on that are different they can still cross

  • 44:43

no you absolutely absolutely you all live in the same world that's why the internet is the portal to hell because i agree with both

  • 44:50

you guys uh meek should have ran from that situation and the internet would have killed him and said look at me running

  • 44:55

that's why i said i wouldn't say run but definitely go back inside and be like yo i'm not going out there too like no matter what meek was gonna lose in that

  • 45:00

situation just for walking to his car right how many rapper paths do y'all want to run across today like

  • 45:08

other artists i think they're intertwined to some degree not many i don't want to run across too many rappers regardless

  • 45:15

only because it's just two different type of you know let me not even say artist but entertainer it's a good conversation it's not me

  • 45:20

like that we bumped into that like if i went to pergola i wouldn't mind if slack slack black was there hey black

  • 45:27

oh god who is slack black cool guy slack black cool guy anybody from l b r n l rnv

  • 45:35

lvrn anybody from there summer i'd be cool with all that ah snow brandy and r b maybe i can't

  • 45:41

name too many rappers that when they have per goal i'ma be i don't want to go for real later young rappers yeah look at this look at

  • 45:48

what joe now i wouldn't mind if brandy was that pergola of course yeah i don't think nobody

  • 45:53

would mind hanging out with me i was talking about with joe no but but you know what it is too

  • 45:59

uh it's just the rapper the way the rapper lifestyle the way rappers move around

  • 46:05

the way they you know i mean like it's like you know they're gonna show up with 20 of the homies yeah and you're never mad at that

  • 46:11

because i'm from that i understand what that is like you just rappers move around differently well i think that was an interesting point that joe brought up of

  • 46:18

past show cross with other rappers if you're on a different path i think especially with kovid where

  • 46:24

certain events in certain areas there's only so much money to get in certain areas it doesn't matter if you're on a

  • 46:29

different path you may end up there at completely different type of events but in the same city and you may come across that path

  • 46:36

absolutely that's gonna happen within hip hop i don't care if you're the most conscious rapper on earth absolutely or

  • 46:41

the most i'm about it about it i don't even like to rap i just want to kill people [ __ ] it's gonna sometimes you end up in the

  • 46:46

same room with people you like what the [ __ ] am i doing it's gonna happen absolutely but my thing is

  • 46:52

you you know i'm leaving that room yeah exactly you know when it's like nah i'm saying you can leave i'm just

  • 46:58

suggesting that the room may exist where it does stuff in it oh no it absolutely does you just have to have

  • 47:03

the where though of when to leave i ain't letting rory do that that easy don't say i'm not saying [ __ ] can't leave [ __ ] but um

  • 47:10

no [ __ ] never leave no sometimes people leave that's totally not true not often but

  • 47:15

sometimes they do not often times where people leave they they stick around till the lights cut on

  • 47:21

to the [ __ ] go go outside so you could drive well not anymore but you drive around you wait you sit outside parking lot but nobody ever

  • 47:27

leaves that's how it happens because they ain't leaving but that's what i'm saying the smart ones know when it's time to leave

  • 47:32

i told y'all a few years ago i was in starlets and one of the little shooters from the gang was

  • 47:37

throwing up gang signs to beyonce beyonce starlets no the song was like oh

  • 47:45

young cause i'm ready she started banging yeah

  • 47:56

this time no he let me know more than that he let me know that guns were stashed outside yeah yeah all with his hands yeah

  • 48:03

to beyonce no i'm leaving it's time to go i don't want to stick around sorry but see that's not a good

  • 48:10

that's not a good example because the strip club is the strip club everybody goes to the strip club anywhere where all the rappers frequent

  • 48:16

i don't want to go but you go so starlet says no there's a spot you go to street clubs

  • 48:22

i don't see all the rappers and stars no i see them starlets oozy okay who i want to talk about actually

  • 48:30

one time uzi yeah what do you got for us i'll tell you something i heard okay

  • 48:36

don't attack me for this chatty patty i will not attack you i'm gonna tell you something i heard it's a safe space maybe some exaggeration on it

  • 48:43

okay i overheard someone telling me that

  • 48:48

they've heard some of uzi's project that he's working on okay okay

  • 48:55

right you follow me sure it said it sounds like his version of

  • 49:00

thriller off the wall what does that mean like when people say his version of thriller

  • 49:07

his version of who was well that's what i said i'm not going to tell you i know but you have to say names but were they

  • 49:13

uh 22 no this was a growth no listen this was a grown adult this

  • 49:18

was an adult someone older than me someone who admittedly wasn't so familiar with

  • 49:24

uzi body of work and they did music they didn't work for his labels so when they said that

  • 49:32

i immediately asked myself the same thing park said like what the [ __ ] does that mean do you mean he made the greatest album all time or some [ __ ]

  • 49:39

uh so the person then started to tell me so much vulnerability on whatever uzi is

  • 49:46

working on like he's really getting into his shortcomings

  • 49:51

with women yeah i don't know if being thrown off

  • 49:56

the wall one of them i don't know i don't find either them to be particularly vulnerable they're disco records for the most part but whatever i see

  • 50:03

what you're well what i don't know what was explained to me well maybe

  • 50:08

because of his vulnerability and him expressing whatever he's dealing with going through with women that this was his best body of

  • 50:16

work so far okay okay that that's okay his his thriller and his best album not two

  • 50:23

different things his masterpiece yes his masterpiece i think that's what okay i think that's

  • 50:28

what the person was saying i'm not mad at the person feeling like that maybe that's how they feel about it no no no it's coming out we will know

  • 50:34

i'm not mad at it either i mean i don't think i'm uzi's target audience but i'm not mad at that take either

  • 50:40

this is where it got interesting they then started to tell me about a few

  • 50:46

a-list artists that were just hanging around uzi stopping by the studio dapping them up

  • 50:54

shooting the [ __ ] they call that the stew and they're talking you know that's what they call it sharing ideas oh

  • 51:01

yes listening to unreleased music you play yours i'll play mine

  • 51:06

we'll do a little bit of that lincoln and buildings what they called it a couple years ago yeah

  • 51:11

but let's unpack it today okay what the person was trying to tell me i

  • 51:18

think was that in the next half or many months

  • 51:23

a few [ __ ] that we think got the mojo lost it mm-hmm and they are suck trying to suck

  • 51:30

it out of uzi they're stopping by the stew they're playing best friend

  • 51:36

now that old move hey let me hear what you got text me hey such and such a stuff

  • 51:43

lincoln and building uh yeah but what this person said was that these [ __ ] that stopping by

  • 51:51

lost it ain't no more sauce [ __ ] oh they look now i can't tell you all the names

  • 51:56

okay cause y'all think that i'm a nut how could these people have lost it and

  • 52:03

be sucking oozy juice but what i'll say is i wasn't so shocked when he said it i

  • 52:09

have an idea who it is i can kind of see a few [ __ ] doing that

  • 52:16

you know and i'm not all the way familiar with uzi sauce all i know is when i go and starlet he

  • 52:21

    is staying up [ __ ] that nigga's at the back minding his business throwing a bunch of money [ __ ] with the [ __ ]

  • 52:27

security it's not it's not a scene it's not a lot though i like it to himself i like how you move

  • 52:32

when i see him i like uzi that i like uzi in that sense like he does what he does he pops out when he wants and then

  • 52:38

when he drops music he drops a bomb he streams a whole [ __ ] ton of records he sells a bunch of records and he's

  • 52:44

he's a rock star he performs it's in stadiums like he he's a rockstar i love uzi and he does

  • 52:50

he moves on his own accord he's not trying to be nobody he's he's himself i just didn't like the

  • 52:55

diamond in the forehead thing because i thought it was just a little clout chasey and i don't think he needs clout because he's dope

  • 53:00

without that type of [ __ ] but now like oozy would do that whether he was famous or not another breath

  • 53:07

okay it wouldn't have been a diamond like that but okay yeah what i'm saying if he had the bread which is why i'm not mad at but i'm like

  • 53:13

i don't think he would do it for that it's just doesn't strike me it's just i don't want to talk about his jewelry and it's for you it's just a stretch i

  • 53:19

wanted to tell y'all that people that we didn't expect allegedly are trying to steal some of

  • 53:25

that sauce well you know what they're doing joe they're creating chords in uzi that he's not aware of um

  • 53:32

that that boy preaching i'm serious people create chords subconsciously suck energy out of you

  • 53:38

you just don't know it um but it's good to hear that that's the type of [ __ ] uzi is on again i'm not

  • 53:43

uzi's target audience his last album that i know everyone loves so don't even mind me i'm not even being a hater sounded like more of the same that was

  • 53:49

coming out i felt uzi didn't have to follow the sound that was of the time so i hope that his thriller is

  • 53:58

thrilled yeah but the thing is we'll get the music and we'll be able to talk about it and

  • 54:03

unpack it and dissect it and do whatever but he i mean uzi's talent level is it's incredible yeah he's a he's a super

  • 54:10

talented person so that that doesn't shock me that they feel like this is not his best work but make your own sauce

  • 54:18

the first time artists have done that yeah we should speak about that [ __ ] no but no we don't talk about it enough

  • 54:24

i don't think but there's legendary artists that do that that's why i'm saying we don't talk about it enough but

  • 54:29

but no but you you pull and pull from all we ever say is all all night they got similar styles

  • 54:35

they don't they don't no no we definitely we definitely spoke about [ __ ] being around [ __ ] just trying

  • 54:41

to get hot and trying to get some of that sauce on we we spoke i think during the dreamville [ __ ] i think we had that type of talk

  • 54:47

when everybody's at the studio everybody's yeah we kind of talked about people hanging out at studio sessions acting like they're friends it's like y'all [ __ ]

  • 54:53

really just trying to get hot yo did we get all the music from that yeah i believe so two hours both were

  • 55:00

great that's it well i mean a lot of records came from that ended up on

  • 55:05

albums a double disc and a bunch of records that ended up going that was a lot harder they put out a lot of music wait

  • 55:12

give me one more time two albums what two albums the two dreamville uh compilations yeah the deluxe was a whole

  • 55:18

new album yeah it's like 14 other records i forgot about that no we got a lot of music from that we got a bunch of records that weren't on the dreamville

  • 55:24

joint that were just on artists yeah i'm sure so that's a great village that came out was from there i'm sure everyone that was there got a record

  • 55:31

that they took for them let me not sit nobody

  • 55:39

i don't know how to speak to people what that's what they're saying who would say such a thing people are saying speak to people yeah

  • 55:47

people are saying no you know how to speak i think that sometimes you just jump out there and say certain things that's like

  • 55:53

okay that was a little too much but you know how to speak to you because you're well spoken you know how to speak to

  • 55:58

people no that's not what they mean you just don't have a filter sometimes and how to speak to certain people i get it

  • 56:04

you know i i know this dude better than anybody trust me

  • 56:10

he knows he knows how to he knows how to speak to people it's just that sometimes it's

  • 56:16

just like you know me though it's just a little too aggressive sometimes what's your name

  • 56:21

    [Music]

  • 56:26

most way know me more that's the wrong impression of joe

  • 56:32

i know what impressions should he have what impression what impression you think i have of you

  • 56:39

it's all wrong what impression do you think i have of

  • 56:44

    you you think i [ __ ] girls i didn't [ __ ] i know you did facts look at the first

  • 56:50

impression you picked the facts i know you did that's not true i know you did prove it i can't want to

  • 56:56

record you [ __ ] favi movie exactly wrong impression yeah you got the right

  • 57:01

impression i don't know how to speak to people you think i was maybe the i said you know 175th best rapper

  • 57:09

i said you don't know how to speak to people like you just have a lot of false impressions about me and because and because you've known me for so long

  • 57:15

when you speak people take your word as bond and it's not blind it's creed but joe people

  • 57:21

we have the proof in the world to look at proof in the world see you one of those people you think

  • 57:26

that if you don't do nothing anymore that that's not who you are that's still a part of you still something you did something you said it's just that you

  • 57:32

don't act like that anymore that's all but you you're the type of guy you're like oh no i don't do that no more you just did it

  • 57:37

two weeks ago no i think that my past is immortalized so much that

  • 57:44

uh it acts as my present sometimes like the joe button fits like oh look at these fists look at this

  • 57:51

just get crazy yo i was a legend all right i couldn't

  • 57:56

dress but all that but my my bad outfits are immortalized today still

  • 58:02

yeah but you switch but you still can't dress and you you you take ownership of that you say that

  • 58:08

you say you're not just that stressor so what are we talking about so so that was just looking at that looking at

  • 58:13

renee rucci's guy today it's like who's that guy can dress a little bit who's renee ruchi

  • 58:18

i don't know who that is i don't watch all the shows rapper she's a rapper oh i don't know what that

  • 58:24

is either she's a rapper from south carolina spoke about her on the show before i think she's down with uh cute seeing them okay okay shout out to

  • 58:32

her huh i'm not familiar with her and her man that can dress yeah when you don't do something good as a man you

  • 58:37

notice when other men do it good like i make fun of your little outfits but they're cute little outfits like whatever this

  • 58:43

fatigue [ __ ] you got on is cute little outfits cute little jasmine little number together yeah

  • 58:51

i see what you did yeah you do that better than me i don't go to the closet and yeah i mean i don't do that it's okay renee ruchi's

  • 58:58

man knows that dress a little bit biggs i really like the way your brother dresses your brother's on your brother's on my

  • 59:04

best dressed men's list yeah i said uh sugar ray is on there [ __ ] laughed at

  • 59:10

me like there's a few men i think dude they know how to dress sugar ray not sugar sugar oh okay okay

  • 59:16

    yeah that's just

  • 59:21

a list i have right now no do you have it written down like is this something you add on to no but you know certainly

  • 59:26

you know certainly no [ __ ] of course i do yeah so why are you trying to make fun of me right now because i like to make money

  • 59:44

don't do that to say well he'll do that he's chilling as a bad dresser i gotta highlight other bad dresses you know what

  • 59:50

but you're still in your sauce my work lay mine too [ __ ] yeah this is my workplace yo but you know

  • 59:56

  • 1:00:23

friends don't bring your ugly friends and ugly girls are usually super cool so

  • 1:00:28

yeah they can be cool behind the velvet room okay okay i got it they got a step they got to come back and then they they

  • 1:00:33

  • 1:00:58

  • 1:01:09

for a minute yeah yeah why what happened stay ready yeah really already i mean here then i had to

  • 1:01:16

go to the supermarket but no no but if they're ready no when i say they're ready definitely not ready i already

  • 1:01:22

looked at the oven it's ready you gotta look through the glass in the oven the funniest part ain't even the ready part is when it doesn't happen and

  • 1:01:28

they all leave and then all your friends look at you like those are the ones that that was ready yeah and then you sit in there like nah

  • 1:01:34

y'all is whack no but no but you have to know you learned early that your taste and other men's taste is different

  • 1:01:39

for sure that's true like i have a cousin that's like yo it's like eight [ __ ] in his crazy eye you pull up you be like yo

  • 1:01:46

  • 1:01:52

  • 1:01:59

going home i'm not ready i'm going all right that's ready just means they're willing to [ __ ] now doesn't mean i want to do it the chicks are just

today okay music is back finally some [ __ ] is making something that's gonna cut through some of this noise out there and

  • 1:21:24

it's a lot of noise speaking of noise i hate to admit when maul is right who's i write about cuomo piece of [ __ ] i'm not going to go

  • 1:21:32

that far piece of [ __ ] but he killed some of your grandparents no he he did i'm telling you fudge the

  • 1:21:39

numbers yeah i don't i'm we don't got to go back into that because you know people are sensitive about politics we [ __ ] some of the numbers at the old

  • 1:21:46

folks home but we knew that right well i did we had to know that i knew it too but when i was digging them up but i

  • 1:21:51

mean you know the politicians just fudging the numbers piece of [ __ ] any double down on it

  • 1:21:59

they died who cares don't do that matter how they don't do that don't do that that's what he said he didn't say that what do you say

  • 1:22:04

not that nobody cares that they died he said who cares how they died they died

  • 1:22:09

i didn't hear him say that okay new york governor oh scream new york governor andrew cuomo

  • 1:22:16

said that nursing homes never needed to accept covet positive patients from hospitals in the state due to a

  • 1:22:22

shortage of hospital beds during a press call wednesday finger lakes news radio asked cuomo about his

  • 1:22:28

administration's advisory in late march requiring that nursing homes accept

  • 1:22:33

the red mission of patients from hospitals even if they were positive for colvin 19.

  • 1:22:39

the governor's office has repeatedly said the advisory was based on federal guidance which prohibited discrimination

  • 1:22:45

based on a coronavirus diagnosed diagnosis the state's department of health told cnn residents were admitted

  • 1:22:53

to nursing homes during that time not as an overflow facility but because that's where they live

  • 1:23:00

cuomo said that the advisory was a precaution if hospitals became overwhelmed

  • 1:23:06

calling it an anticipatory rule which he said didn't happen i'll read this little last part

  • 1:23:13

we never needed nursing home beds because we always had hospital beds

  • 1:23:19

exactly like all of this [ __ ] is [ __ ] i love you and your brother but you didn't have hospital beds they're all

  • 1:23:24

full of [ __ ] my dad was in the hospital dying from cobia and y'all was trying to kick him out every hour y'all didn't have hospital beds just ready it's

  • 1:23:31

it's all both promote finger lake news so it just never happened in new york where we needed to say a nursing uh

  • 1:23:36

where we needed to say to a nursing home we need you to take this person even though they're cold with positive it

  • 1:23:41

never happened i don't believe that for one second of course it happens a good friend of mine is a is a manager

  • 1:23:48

of a nursing home and that's exactly what was happening he manages a nursing home and this was back in april may he was telling me this

  • 1:23:54

like why are they sending all of these co-positive patients to nursing homes when older

  • 1:24:00

people are more susceptible to getting infected it didn't make any sense back then you know

  • 1:24:08

politics yeah politics man it's just just the government that we live under they all follow

  • 1:24:15

you know their own rules and their own you know whatever the [ __ ] they want to

  • 1:24:21

do but you speak about it people think you're this or you're that i don't get involved in all that [ __ ] it was just fun talking about trump but

  • 1:24:26

it's over more uh more newsy news that people in the new york area should at least be aware of uh

  • 1:24:31

mta tolls uh are being increased april first again

  • 1:24:38

heavens every year madam what's what's mta throgs neck verrazano all the new york

  • 1:24:43

[ __ ] right everything yeah yeah well literally everything has to do with publishing yeah transit yeah it's going from like six

  • 1:24:50

dollars to eleven dollars if you're not easy pass really wait hold on they've added a total of the bridge on the bqe

  • 1:24:56

yep what yeah man uh yeah it's what yeah yeah you know

  • 1:25:02

what yeah means yeah mazda man yes yes i got a question y'all i asked a question y'all said yes

  • 1:25:08

yeah yeah man lock your windows close your doors biggie smalls that's what's going on out

  • 1:25:15

there just want to throw that out there so you know uh what else is going on that people need to be aware of going on i want to

  • 1:25:21

talk about houston a little bit i mean not houston but texas period and what's going on out there with uh ted cruz

  • 1:25:26

trying to go to cancun um because his daughters wanted to get away and get a little get a little bit of sun for the weekend

  • 1:25:32

cancun cruise uh in the midst of millions of people being

  • 1:25:38

without electricity uh power water heat heat

  • 1:25:44

that's when he decided to get up and go to cancun now listen i won't i don't want to go to cancun many of black

  • 1:25:50

twitter did i mean just not right now just now is a little black

  • 1:25:55

twitter wasn't responsible for a state yes right probably not that wasn't bad for ted

  • 1:26:02

cruz to do that and if you were gonna do that why didn't he take a pj why is he in the airport why is he in the airport where people

  • 1:26:08

could see him and take a picture and say yo that's ted cruz they also kill politicians when they do the pga thing

  • 1:26:14

i think supposed to be he's supposed to be one of the people yeah i think people forget that politicians are humans and they're going to do [ __ ] up

  • 1:26:21

[ __ ] just like humans do listen man to tom yeah nah nah

  • 1:26:26

republican democrat thing that's a human thing the people the people who voted you in what does that mean it means that they

  • 1:26:33

would like to see you stand in turmoil with them or be the elected official to try to help

  • 1:26:41

troubleshoot some of this turmoil how many how many elected officials have ever

  • 1:26:46

done what the people have asked or thought that they were going to do how many have actually ever done it

  • 1:26:51

uh i can't say because i'm not politics man i'm only speaking on in the middle i

  • 1:26:58

know what people want in the middle of such a crisis absolutely i know what people want no you can't get up and go

  • 1:27:04

i agree can come i agree in the middle i agree this type of crisis i agree but this is what politicians do you think

  • 1:27:10

they're going to sit there and weather the storm with the people that doesn't that doesn't happen that doesn't happen well at least

  • 1:27:20

at least do it somewhere in the state or like vacation oklahoma like just go somewhere around the area

  • 1:27:26

no they're gonna take your money and they're gonna go to the [ __ ] tulum and [ __ ] drink coconut rum until they

  • 1:27:31

pass out somebody tweeted and this was a tweet of the week for me i said so nobody he said so nobody

  • 1:27:37

notices that ted cruz and his family tried to cross the border he tried to cross the border to provide

  • 1:27:43

a better life for him his family yeah yeah that's funny this one was

  • 1:27:49

crazy i don't know if they who is this uh mayor of colorado oh no this was nuts yes this this was the one before we even got

  • 1:27:56

on ted cruz duke said let let me

  • 1:28:01

  • 1:28:08

have a minute but you shouldn't have let me get my [ __ ] off he said and i'm gonna read this from tim

  • 1:28:13

  • 1:28:42

owes you nothing i'm sick and tired of people looking for a damn handout you know if you don't have electricity

  • 1:28:49

electricity bill if you don't have electricity you step your bum ass up and come up

  • 1:28:54

with a game plan to keep your family warm and safe if you have no water you deal with out and think outside of the box to survive

  • 1:29:01

and supply water to your family i'm going to repeat this is somebody to make water i'm going to repeat that make water

  • 1:29:07

procure your own water if you have no water you deal without

  • 1:29:13

and think outside of the box to survive and supply water to your family yo

  • 1:29:19

there's snow there snow is water go grab that didn't think of it like that rory i'm saying if you're sitting

  • 1:29:24

at home in the cold because you have no power and are sitting there waiting for someone to come rescue you because you're lazy

  • 1:29:30

because you're lazy is direct result of your raising only the strong will survive and the

  • 1:29:35

weak will perish folks god has given us the tools to support ourselves in times like this

  • 1:29:41

this is sadly a product of socialist government where they feed people to believe that the few will work

  • 1:29:46

and others will become dependent for handouts and pay you for times like this you you realize

  • 1:29:54

a mayor is talking about socialist government forget it never mind i get it forget it forget it stop taking my taxes

  • 1:30:02

paid off my taxes mr socialist yes am i sorry that you have been dealing without electricity and water yes

  • 1:30:09

but i'll be damned if i'm going to provide anyone that is capable of uh provide for anyone that is capable

  • 1:30:14

of doing it themselves we have lost sight of those in need is this real and though yeah it's real

  • 1:30:21

indeed and those that take advantage of the system and mesh them in one group bottom line quit crying and

  • 1:30:28

looking for a handout get off your ass and take care of your own

  • 1:30:34

family this is an elected official they better go burn his house down

  • 1:30:39

that hit send yep who is paying on this who is paid by the people he's talking

  • 1:30:44

about that people went out and voted for go vote [ __ ] out of here now i'm gonna

  • 1:30:49

come clean when certain parts of texas were open

  • 1:30:56

still like atlanta's open still and the mayor over there is saying yo

  • 1:31:02

all-star is here but atlanta's closed don't come yeah yeah yeah the mayor over there been saying yo yo yo we need to do something

  • 1:31:09

different for a little while the elected officials don't really care about us right right she's been saying that for a while

  • 1:31:15

over there now when these states are open maybe it's joe the weirdo

  • 1:31:20

but that's the first second and third thing i'm thinking i ain't just thinking let me run the turkey leg hut because it's open let me

  • 1:31:26

turn up hookah let me run in atlanta copper i'm not thinking none of that i'm thinking yo the officials don't give a [ __ ] over

  • 1:31:32

here so what's going to happen when crisis really hits and here we are yep and you see [ __ ]

  • 1:31:40

like what tim boyd is saying you see that truthfully ted cruz did see that true feelings you see how they

  • 1:31:45

really feel boy i feel bad that uh severe

  • 1:31:51

temperatures turn parts of the south up like this yeah yeah well they're not built for it yeah i

  • 1:31:57

i'll admit i used to be the person that used to laugh at like atlanta when they'd get an inch of snow and the whole city would shut

  • 1:32:02

down how do i drive i i was ignorant of me those cities aren't prepared for this type of [ __ ] at all

  • 1:32:08

so it affects them much differently than would ever affect us yeah they're just not prepared i mean

  • 1:32:13

that was different because people's lives weren't necessarily in in jeopardy really effectively when it was an inch of snow that's

  • 1:32:19

that's funny people this is much driving it's much different because people's houses are getting destroyed and they don't have heat

  • 1:32:24

and water and people are dying people are dying yeah over here this isn't this isn't

  • 1:32:29

jokey joke time no listen sure they do i was trying to get them they cancelled all flights uh houston like it was bad yeah i got uh

  • 1:32:37

not outside having people in houston people that were there visiting have been there for like 10 days they can't get out yeah they were stuck in houston

  • 1:32:44

and still and still i know some women that are making it out there for their dick appointment man i got i got a round of applause hey hold

  • 1:32:51

up i said round of applause dude they're doing the due diligence i

  • 1:32:58

don't know what type whoa that's scary that's scary uh-oh

  • 1:33:04

that was scary about a round of applause for the climate change deniers well i don't know was that ted cruz

  • 1:33:10

tweet from 2016 real yeah because i never want to say people know how to photoshop ted cruz had tweeted allegedly

  • 1:33:16

i don't know if it was true it was on twitter so i'm not going to fact check it um ted cruz said i believe in global warming when texas freezes over

  • 1:33:26

then he went to cancun hey i have to rethink this global warming thing and go

  • 1:33:31

to mexico do you guys care about uh do you guys

  • 1:33:37

care about uh charlemagne versus la keith no what happened they beefing wasn't that a really really

  • 1:33:43

old thing did it did it reunite uh re-ignite the breakfast club interviewed

  • 1:33:52

um la keith for the movie matt lakeif daniel okay okay they interviewed daniel

  • 1:33:59

and apparently charlemagne asked him a question about lake's character in the film but it was

  • 1:34:05

like a shady question uh how do i say his last name

  • 1:34:13

daniel kaluya the lead uh the lead and uh fred hampton yeah fred hampton um

  • 1:34:19

so he asked him a question about lake's role in the movie and i guess it was some some spice to it i'm not sure because i

  • 1:34:26

didn't know there was uh initially an issue between la keith and

  • 1:34:31

i was bringing this charlemagne to ask y'all what that was i think and again not gonna fact check if i remember

  • 1:34:36

correctly it started when lakeith wrapped on the breakfast club and charlemagne was like that was trash

  • 1:34:44

i think that's how it started and then they went back and forth on a bunch of different things since then but yeah this has been something that

  • 1:34:50

why is that a beef people are don't tell me you're trapped trash you're an actor you're a rapper with my

  • 1:34:56

fake bars i believe that's how it started yeah that's not the first time charlotte

  • 1:35:01

replied to the daniel interview that he saw and said this is whole [ __ ]

  • 1:35:08

stop it get off my dick blah blah blah blah blah well what did they be from about again i

  • 1:35:14

mean i know y'all just broke it down but i still don't know where you're listening i don't know but i still i still don't get it though i don't know and i'm not

  • 1:35:20

gonna say they're beef and i'm not familiar with the situation i just know the keith replied and said get off my dick this whole [ __ ] yeah

  • 1:35:27

well i couldn't do that i didn't know enough about the exchange just uh i was shocked that's all shawn names me

  • 1:35:35

and what do you think of the keepsake i don't know i don't know i'm not here to judge his freestyle yeah he's an actor

  • 1:35:40

he's not a phenomenal job phenomenal job he did in the movie huh he played snoop yeah so he's an

  • 1:35:47

actor he's a rapper now yeah yeah he did a good job though real good job in judas in the messiah

  • 1:35:52

speaking of uh atlanta donald glover just had a big deal with amazon guy's own channel i guess on there i

  • 1:35:58

don't know how channels work within the amazon ecosystem but that's a big deal congratulations to donald

  • 1:36:04

glover i think that was a eight figure deal that's what they say yeah super big man shout out to him

  • 1:36:10

congratulations he was one of the most congratulations to amazon as well as well he's one of the most

  • 1:36:15

one of the most talented people is his brother involved in this at all screaming can you bring up donald

  • 1:36:20

glover's brother's name he's the one that writes and directs a lot of atlanta all right he's really really really done no

  • 1:36:25

we don't know about his brother okay well just look at credits check the credits

  • 1:36:31

it's not people have talked about his brother a million times uh stephen glover yeah he's i wasn't hit

  • 1:36:36

oh steven steve by the way by the way remember remember this in like three episodes

  • 1:36:43

from now i know joe is gonna bring up oh my do you guys know about stephen glover he's such a good writer how come we've

  • 1:36:50

never talked about this i've never seen atlanta oh that's humorous now yeah you're definitely missing out never seen that

  • 1:36:55

was incredible no i thought we talked about it you was following it not at once good show binge that you should start

  • 1:37:02

scene and start it tonight euphoria

  • 1:37:12

he watched the lady and the dale that she was trash that [ __ ] was

  • 1:37:18

terrible that [ __ ] was trash you watched all of

  • 1:37:24

it yeah i didn't like that [ __ ] at all you know what not the story the story is interesting i

  • 1:37:31

didn't like the cartoon type [ __ ] they was doing it i just didn't like that like i was like fam i don't want to watch a documentary

  • 1:37:36

and it's showing like the cartoony [ __ ] like don't give me a doc give me a dollar i'll have done that before i don't like that big doctor i don't i

  • 1:37:42

don't like yeah i don't necessarily mind that i don't know i don't know what was that there was another doctor that was good anyway yeah

  • 1:37:48

i'm not a big fan of when doc's do that the story was interesting though like that uh she got that off that was

  • 1:37:55

interesting yeah that was that was like yeah you can watch that no the story was like this

  • 1:38:01

[ __ ] you know that the story was interesting i just didn't i didn't she could have been a young boy

  • 1:38:07

i yeah i didn't think the doc was put together brought her into the fold come on man you could have initiated her nah what's the young boy initiation look

  • 1:38:14

like the what how do you bring the young boys

  • 1:38:19

into the into the crew what do you make them do well one they have to be young they also have to talk about into that at all

  • 1:38:26

i don't bring young boys into a crew touch one of mine with everything you love i will destroy

  • 1:38:33

everything you touch i slay the game [ __ ] it's a really bad pocket impression yeah you did a better

  • 1:38:38

    pocket a little bit last words you a [ __ ]

  • 1:38:44

[ __ ] why you lie now you gotta watch your back now watch your front here we come gun shots

  • 1:38:52

now you stuck [ __ ] the i don't see how pockets not [ __ ] top three i don't know what time that became a weird internet

  • 1:38:58

troll that was the rap game [ __ ] that was the remote never understood don't believe me within

  • 1:39:04

me i don't feel that you guys don't rap

  • 1:39:10

today enemies no more no yeah but yeah they do but but the reason why a lot of people don't have poc [ __ ] enemies ain't tough then

  • 1:39:18

they're pocket real so yeah i'm saying they're doing that fox enemies were tougher than their enemies i don't know about all that

  • 1:39:25

no now we just got the feds that's the enemies of hip-hop now

  • 1:39:31

all this music is about a specific op and then they kill each other so uh yeah i'm not gonna say that but

  • 1:39:37

anyways biggie doc oh when is this one coming march 1st i believe it's the date so

  • 1:39:45

this was one i will admit and no one else will admit when i saw the headline wanted to kill it because i've been on this podcast saying

  • 1:39:51

i don't need any more big or poc documentaries we've got them we've got them all [Music]

  • 1:39:57

the trailer look like it may have some things we footage fam uh every other year or every

  • 1:40:04

year i don't feel like there's been a good pack doctor well the the one that was there was good the one that was in theaters tupac

  • 1:40:10

resurrection i thought it wasn't really a dock the one the one that's on tv that was like who killed biggie and park

  • 1:40:15

i wasn't mad at that one okay uh that wasn't fx what was that on a lot of people didn't like the poc

  • 1:40:21

movie why do i have the hiccups like i'm sorry i thought that's what uh i don't think i like the pocket movie no

  • 1:40:26

no i'm not talking about all eyes on me the movie like years and years tupac resurrection was a documentary s

  • 1:40:32

[ __ ] that was in actual i went to the movie theater to see it yeah i know just about two backwards right yeah i like that but i just feel like they've kind

  • 1:40:38

of oversaturated it and there's always been these random ones but this does look like with this mom involved and footage that none of us have seen

  • 1:40:44

this this looks like it'll be actually really dope so i do take back my hate when i initially saw the headline of like all

  • 1:40:50

right we're gonna milk this even more no they better give me a new biggie fact

  • 1:40:55

if there's if there's real if i don't get a new family i like i like his mom involved because i've always felt like they do all these

  • 1:41:01

weird cheap docks and little side joints and i'm like all right y'all just going to eat off the family like his mom is in this seizes in this

  • 1:41:08

like you know what i would like to see if from what people tell this from this doc i would love to see

  • 1:41:14

them not tie in the whole biggie tupac thing i would like to just see that angle let

  • 1:41:21

me just let's just yeah but tell us about big from growing up i don't know if you can tell either one of their stories in full

  • 1:41:29

without mentioning the other honestly no but but but because we got those docs already and those stories and those

  • 1:41:36

you know they always tie them together i would like for them to just keep it strictly big

  • 1:41:41

for this like let's teach us tell us things about him in high school and tell us things in elementary school on

  • 1:41:47

the block if he played you know different sports with some of his teammates in little league like that we never heard from like

  • 1:41:52

things like that like let's focus on the drama yeah not the drama

  • 1:41:58

yeah like exactly and that's how i feel like it's still so much a big that we don't know about that i think that i hope that they

  • 1:42:04

highlight more on this on this documentary this just looks like so much home footage that's what i liked about the

  • 1:42:09

trailer it's not just another thing like did you know that tupac and biggie were friends before all this

  • 1:42:15

like i don't need another one of those docs yeah i don't yeah but i feel you yeah i'd like to dive

  • 1:42:20

more into the big part of everything rather than the big and pop yeah i don't know what they exploit every single time

  • 1:42:27

um but this is on what netflix right yep yeah all right well look looking forward i'll watch

  • 1:42:32

regardless i say all that to say that any time there's a big dock i will watch you have to you may have to big old park

  • 1:42:39

you have to watch the stories no i'm into it um i don't think i'm watching this you

  • 1:42:47

gonna watch it and i'm the hipster no joe's gonna watch it i'm a hipster because i'm not

  • 1:42:54

watching i've heard stories from people that spoke to big when he was at the club

  • 1:43:00

right before he died i've heard from his mom i've heard from

  • 1:43:05

puff i've heard from people that were at the fight i've heard from people that were

  • 1:43:13

i've heard i just i've heard from everybody if i don't get a new fact then i have to work on how i say

  • 1:43:20

things people think i don't care

  • 1:43:27

but i don't but this seems but but this does seem like this is strictly about him before he became

  • 1:43:33

biggie yeah with the amount of homes

  • 1:43:38

i've heard from kim i've heard from faith in the last however many years

  • 1:43:47

i mean dear i say it we've got it all or have we

  • 1:43:53

well and that's what y'all will watch this and tell me if we have it absolutely we've gotten all the music

  • 1:43:58

the major music moments that's what we've got yeah so if that is

  • 1:44:04

this again then i'm going to be disappointed but if this is some cooler [ __ ] like really

  • 1:44:09

in the big's life and more personality than how that had to do yeah because everyone has said bigger the greatest personality ever

  • 1:44:15

like i'm i'm down to watch it and give it a chance listen to

  • 1:44:20

only release two albums and still be considered one of the best rappers in the world

  • 1:44:26

by mostly everybody it's a real difficult feat i don't take that for granted at all

  • 1:44:32

like the amount of skill that you have to show in two albums if you want to say three that's fine with

  • 1:44:38

life after desperate death being a double disc but the skills you have to show to be

  • 1:44:44

regarded that way in such a brief amount of time it's just different yeah it's crazy

  • 1:44:49

as far as voice delivery cadence storytelling club records album cuts classic albums

  • 1:44:55

like it's just a lot that he hit great greatest flow walls and i feel like if they keep if they keep

  • 1:45:02

i don't know i understand he's such a prominent figure man but at some point do you let it rest don't

  • 1:45:09

kill me hip-hop i'm just asking um i understand your question yeah yeah i understand what you mean uh

  • 1:45:15

but i i think that it's important because we still get documentaries about bob marley

  • 1:45:20

we still get documentaries about you know a lot of figures that passed before we were born you're right

  • 1:45:26

maybe i'm selfishly speaking because i was there and i have all these yeah yeah yeah there's a lot of people that

  • 1:45:32

don't know haven't seen didn't get the facts weren't alive yeah that's like 21 year olds

  • 1:45:38

the people that are turning 21 they were born in 2000 now right yeah so like when they did the

  • 1:45:44

movie notorious i was like yeah i think it's a little too early i was young but i was still there i know

  • 1:45:49

everything when i watched this movie so yeah i think we should wait a little bit on this with this doc i think the

  • 1:45:55

timing makes more sense with the amount of kids that literally have no idea but that name

  • 1:46:01

biggie when they hear it in other rap songs i need a 50 cent dog that's the dock i need i need i need the

  • 1:46:08

real 50 doc not don't give me the vh1 behind the music

  • 1:46:13

doc i need the doc doc yeah i don't want to see the get rich or die trying movie [ __ ] i need to watch you for life

  • 1:46:21

excuse me you've been watching before that i have not it's really good this season i saw the first three episodes but i'm

  • 1:46:26

not caught up it's been good for life is good i like i like for life you know what i did watch

  • 1:46:32

parks i watched that uh britney spears though oh yeah real good i watched it as well really really really really good on hulu

  • 1:46:38

yeah on new york times britney spears doc that conservatory [ __ ] is interesting

  • 1:46:44

yeah it really is i threw the whole documentary i would like for britney spears to have her rights back

  • 1:46:50

me too especially if you're if you're ready willing and able to work the way

  • 1:46:56

that the doc showcased her working then you don't need someone to make decisions on your behalf

  • 1:47:02

it's really really really unfortunate really unfortunate story in that britney spears doc and they're right

  • 1:47:08

like a lot of how we view britney spears like what the media was doing back then

  • 1:47:16

and the story they were telling what the justin crimea river the dancer kid like just how she went from

  • 1:47:25

wherever that little town kent was that kent mississippi yeah whatever louisiana yeah whatever one of them

  • 1:47:31

whatever she did from that little town man that is horrible that is really horrible

  • 1:47:38

and for her to get to the end spoiler alert and be like yo i'm not even mad at the conservatory

  • 1:47:43

i just don't want my dad to run it yeah do what you got to do but homeboy he don't mean no good

  • 1:47:51

so many musicians with that story man remember not too long ago i i was talking about jojo and that

  • 1:47:56

youtube doc i watched with her and just her situation and it's just so many tragic musician uh

  • 1:48:02

stories about musicians that sign bad deals or make all the money in the world and have to watch out for

  • 1:48:08

family members that's what i was thinking watching i was like damn man falling should i talk about my career

  • 1:48:16

like imagine if it went the best it could have gone like imagine the things i would have had

  • 1:48:22

to watch out for in that instance like i don't want to look at my mom shady

  • 1:48:27

right not that i am no or would but i'm just saying an example fam i gotta look at my

  • 1:48:33

dad like tiger with the tiger woods doc like just imagine it it's nasty

  • 1:48:41

yeah what she went through with the little umbrella scene when she when she [ __ ] up the reporters the reporters like she was in her car in

  • 1:48:48

her right to do that i felt i felt i felt that too yeah i don't think that's crazy dog get the [ __ ] out of my face

  • 1:48:53

i didn't like her trot back to the car like that wasn't that wasn't the best criminal look

  • 1:49:00

like you could have did that a little bit that was the protocol that just had a moment and it's like oh

  • 1:49:05

god i gotta get back to the car now that was that truck but if i'm there to pick up my kids

  • 1:49:11

my kids dad has custody he's ignoring me won't answer he's painting me to be a

  • 1:49:16

villain a bad guy yeah i'm [ __ ] somebody's car up with the umbrella when paparazzi uh

  • 1:49:23

uh paparazzi shows up and their reaction how could she do it not understanding it was hilarious why she

  • 1:49:30

was angry if you haven't seen the britney spears doc on hulu uh and it's called framing

  • 1:49:35

britney spears before you try to search it like i did all the 10 million

  • 1:49:41

britney spears docs new york times is really really really good there's also misleading says episode six

  • 1:49:46

so you think oh [ __ ] it did i miss the other five but no it's just one episode in a bigger uh project or whatever i googled after

  • 1:49:53

to make sure i was looking at the right one and i will say i take back all my hate of documentaries where i say

  • 1:49:59

hey this could have been shorter they dragged this too long with too many episodes because my biggest gripe about this

  • 1:50:05

britney dock was that it was too short and they rushed through certain parts that i think could have been full

  • 1:50:10

episodes that was my only gripe so i thought it was two hours of fire it was only an hour and some change

  • 1:50:16

you know hour and 50 minutes hour and 12 really of what the [ __ ] that i watch

  • 1:50:22

i must have stayed on for the oops i did it again [ __ ] but no i felt like there was so much

  • 1:50:28

stuff with her childhood and then getting into her career that could have been episodes yeah and then the entire

  • 1:50:33

thing wither pops the entire kevin fetterline the entire meltdown like each one of those could have been episodes to me so i

  • 1:50:40

i i'm wrong people that create documentaries i enjoyed seeing i enjoyed seeing how they broke her like

  • 1:50:46

i enjoyed them showing how she was singing uh oops i did it again or whatever her first

  • 1:50:52

record was give me baby one more time at the demo yeah i remember when that was a thing i remember when that was a thing yeah

  • 1:50:57

that wasn't me too but i forgot yeah and watching it that was impressive man

  • 1:51:05

she yeah targeting the college kids and blah blah blah blah blah that's why i hated j cole for a little bit

  • 1:51:11

i hated people that targeted college kids i just felt like it was a guy that went to college targeting his audience what did

  • 1:51:19

take your time and step on my amazing point that i'm making rory with your opinion on something yes joe's

  • 1:51:25

opinion is when the rappers say hey college four years when meg did uh what the [ __ ] she

  • 1:51:30

did hey fall girl school girl i think all last corny that's joe's opinion

  • 1:51:36

if you love that then you speak to it don't step step on my opinion i'm saying the hold on so you don't

  • 1:51:43

think the person that is living that life who the people he's speaking to he should market to i said i hate it any

  • 1:51:49

time a rapper does it that's okay would you mind when they market to other people i hate it i hate when a rapper does it that didn't go to

  • 1:51:55

college i ate a period that's me but what do you mean would say

  • 1:52:00

    i don't like it

  • 1:52:08

if a rapper that uh comes from poverty and raps about a certain lifestyle within that inner city

  • 1:52:16

markets to the people that really feel his music and will grow with him you think that's

  • 1:52:21

okay i don't really view that as marketing so what's the difference between cole

  • 1:52:27

going after the people he was on campus with it's marketing why

  • 1:52:34

you're going after those people because those are the people that spend money and you're looking to share a relatable experience so they

  • 1:52:41

can do so college kids have a large school income yeah i don't know what we're talking about

  • 1:52:46

okay a bunch of rappers you guys got it a bunch of rappers are not college kids have mad money to spend on

  • 1:52:52

jayco he did a dollar in a dream tour because that's all they could afford and it worked it was a dollar and it

  • 1:52:58

worked so they spent mad money on them right it all worked i didn't check i didn't

  • 1:53:04

check the financial records you just you know i bought the most music i ever bought in my life while i was in college

  • 1:53:21

no that's how you operate this i don't operate and tell me what's dumb about what i'm saying because what sounds dumb about i hate when

  • 1:53:29

people market to college you're saying because that because he marketed to the people that

  • 1:53:35

were his demographics no i didn't know you said that i didn't say that my statement was very quick

  • 1:53:41

i hate anybody that markets to college you then asked me some follow-up questions cole went to college is that

  • 1:53:47

not i don't care we went i don't care i hate when any rapper then i'm not gonna have this

  • 1:53:54

is a weird this is a stupid conversation why i have a problem i'm asking marketing to college students yo if you don't think [ __ ] it up was

  • 1:54:00

marketed to college students it was you were out of your [ __ ] it wasn't it wasn't of course

  • 1:54:05

it wasn't it wasn't i'm sure how was it it was a party record now you sound dumb

  • 1:54:13

if you're every party record is and it was a college party right no it was not rory what are you talking about you

  • 1:54:20

sound like a [ __ ] idiot you know when the rappers are marketing the college kids kanye did college drop out he put a book

  • 1:54:25

bag on everywhere he went you knew he was talking to college j cole every [ __ ] verse was about

  • 1:54:34

college why do you why are you my joe's opinion i'm not saying this is

  • 1:54:40

fact yes you are all right well you just said let's move on man i'm not doing this for rory you do this every podcast

  • 1:54:46

i'm telling you my opinion now you're telling me my opinion is stupid and i'm saying this fact i'm not saying it's fat i'm saying it's

  • 1:54:51

my opinion and i hate when it happens any time it happens not just when your dreamville buddies do it

  • 1:54:57

i hate when anybody does it i'm asking why i thought i said that earlier and you

  • 1:55:02

said colleges don't have any money to spend on music that's what you said to me if you

  • 1:55:08

were just going i've been in marketing meetings at labels where things were specifically geared

  • 1:55:15

around targeting college kids why do you think that is

  • 1:55:22

uh because it's an age demographic because it works that deals with because parties and regular

  • 1:55:28

real life [ __ ] all right that's the music that cole made all right that's your opinion in my opinion not only does it work

  • 1:55:33

but college is where those memorable relatable times and where the song sticks out in your memory for the rest

  • 1:55:39

of your life and then you have a relatable identifiable why would you hate when you stated cause i hate it so you hate when people

  • 1:55:46

try to make memories and make money more can you say something please i was just letting you can you say something can you please say something this [ __ ]

  • 1:55:52

does this every podcast i'm not being annoying this time i know i'm not i was just letting y'all have y'all

  • 1:55:58

fight but i think y'all both are saying rory's trying to ask why do you not like that and i mean like if it works why would

  • 1:56:04

you not like that and if it's anyone and if the guy actually went to college i'm saying it's a genuine experience i think you're i think what rory's

  • 1:56:10

missing what joe is saying is joe is just saying like why do y'all just target that audience

  • 1:56:15

even if you did go to college but why are you just targeting that audience you should be targeting a broader audience

  • 1:56:22

done that and proven that he did that oh after for sure after his career took off he and even off the first album well you

  • 1:56:28

know i do too i thought but i did understand the correlation and how it tied in and it made sense

  • 1:56:36

so far gone could have only been marketed to college students absolutely if you want to go that route that's true but it wasn't and that's why

  • 1:56:43

i said y'all both were kind of but it wasn't saying similar [ __ ] then don't tell me i sound stupid for having

  • 1:56:49

an opinion so far gone it wasn't marketed to college no it wasn't it was i don't think it was no it wasn't

  • 1:56:55

neither was pump it up i don't think it was marketed to college no the college the college people run with

  • 1:57:00

it and very take off absolutely very different but i don't think it was marketed to college i don't think so

  • 1:57:05

the end but college kids love that completely disagree that it was marketed that's so far i was

  • 1:57:10

in college when it happened it was marketed to me i saw all the marketing how was it marketed to you he only did

  • 1:57:17

college dates in between it it's not true okay that's not true no doubt i don't remember

  • 1:57:22

    you

  • 1:57:29

how was it marketed to college he was f he was doing college shows he did a whole college run in the in the middle of so far best i ever had

  • 1:57:35

he even hit the radio so that meant that it was only marketed to college he didn't do nothing else that was what he focused on

  • 1:57:40

okay he didn't do other things he did not only do colleges so that was natural but cole did the same thing though he didn't just go to

  • 1:57:47

colleges he went to a bunch of different things it's the same thing and wrapped about be consistent

  • 1:57:54

there's nothing wrong with marketing to college but i'm just putting that out there i'm trying to figure out in my opinion oh no no no i asked why

  • 1:58:00

you said you're just what you're trying to figure out you don't have to figure out my opinion it's my opinion you don't have to hold it i don't like

  • 1:58:07

when [ __ ] market to college okay that didn't cut and nothing was so

  • 1:58:12

far gone was about college not a line in it not one bar

  • 1:58:18

well count it tell me it's what's the name oh no it's uh it's a baby am i everything you know is that one so

  • 1:58:23

far going yes talks about campus life though this is the entire college record that's that's ecology

  • 1:58:29

    record college

  • 1:58:37

the best i ever had was marketed to colleges i'm finished i didn't know that's not what i'm saying i'm saying it's a

  • 1:58:42

college e i'm not saying it wasn't marketed elsewhere but it was 1 000 focused on colleges it has it has that

  • 1:58:48

same kind of like this girl you know i mean like in even the video was like there was a

  • 1:58:53

    basketball team and a gym like that's college [ __ ] so i get it i understand but i don't

  • 1:58:58

think it was it wasn't just market it's a college i think you had a broader point of joe

  • 1:59:05

and i wasn't the annoying one on this one some simple questions actually drake has a cardigan on that's college

  • 1:59:10

fam this whole thing everything about drake from so far gone was college this is college [ __ ] they took matt now

  • 1:59:17

where's their marketing plans was this marketed just to college absolutely not no of course not and neither was jacob that was my point

  • 1:59:23

neither was j cole right did they focus on college for sure

  • 1:59:29

what else you got and if you take one or two verses from coal that have to do with college does not

  • 1:59:34

mean it's not just one or two i'm saying off the first journey

  • 1:59:40

    9 10 11 12 13 14 and 15 verses about college from j cole every chance

  • 1:59:47

he got i went to college what the [ __ ] is rory tallmadge because he went to college i know you're

  • 1:59:53

a college kid you you have strong ties to this conversation talk about the first house nothing going so far gone is about college i don't get it

  • 2:00:00

kanye put this snake in the card again the [ __ ] are you talking about a single hand you're the best girl i ever had

  • 2:00:07

i wasn't in college and guess what was happening i was saying it what's the second the best hey no i'm the best girl i

  • 2:00:14

wasn't marketing she's the best girl i ever had it wasn't marketing i said that to 80 girls you know and didn't step foot on a college campus at

  • 2:00:21

all what the [ __ ] is he taught i hate that he does that every week i don't do it everywhere you do it every week where

  • 2:00:26

you just take something real stupid and want to argue it no i i was asked you simple questions i'm not the one that's being annoying

  • 2:00:32

right now rick ross did a tiny desk and somebody read it and somebody ruined it

  • 2:00:37

was that the react college's first two singles on jacob's first time will work out and can't get enough by trey songz

  • 2:00:43

in college as i mentioned once but that's that's it it's cool listen i i listen there's nothing wrong

  • 2:00:49

with being martial he was going off singles so that was your point nothing wrong with using your point let's just put that out there i don't i don't care about any of your

  • 2:00:54

hip-hop opinions about that there's nothing wrong with being marketed to college let's just end it like that tiny does

  • 2:01:01

y'all end it like that joe hates when people market to college

  • 2:01:07

i don't care okay dude no rick ross tiny desk yeah you saw it i did who loved it not

  • 2:01:14

me look at arrogant tate killing [ __ ]

  • 2:01:44

in the matrix elijah blake a little major yeah i like elijah blake i like him too which is why i didn't

  • 2:01:50

understand i didn't watch this so i don't know if he was bugging out he just he just did it he was back up singing for

  • 2:01:55

college i'm not watching this did ross go to co college

  • 2:02:01

c.o college you can't spell college without ceos so never thought of it with that one ain't

  • 2:02:06

  • 2:02:13

blake yeah i love when we get on our joe malone [ __ ] man

  • 2:02:18

that's when joe and more win yeah i get it yeah i didn't like uh great cologne and

  • 2:02:24

candles yeah i didn't like elijah blake's uh renditions but will you want arrogant

  • 2:02:29

tay to do your braids one day you wanna sit between his legs no sit in the chair like i do now

  • 2:02:34

just asking okay the chair is not available and it's only the steps in front of the building throw it out he's gonna put the chair

  • 2:02:40

man low like by his waist throw it out you're gonna go fro y'all could go

  • 2:02:45

  • 2:02:50

chair button y'all just put your head right back i don't even know i'm feeding this dog [ __ ] can we talk about ross

  • 2:02:58

after he's done he spins the chair before you look in the mirror yeah he's spinning all by his dick wait why'd

  • 2:03:04

you take it there because that's what's happening you know spin them all around

  • 2:03:11

how you like how you like see somehow they trying to pull me into the [ __ ] i just want to talk about roles on npr

  • 2:03:16

  • 2:04:06

  • 2:04:49

the last time i asked a celebrity for a picture like i was really young it might have been something like john starks or somebody

  • 2:04:56

doof you might have been like john i would ask i would ask him for something can you say can you pull a girl from your phone that thinks you're a goof i don't think no

  • 2:05:04

girl thinks i'm a goofy can you call somebody so i can ask them if they think i'm a goofer yeah does anybody gonna laugh at you but who lets

  • 2:05:09

  • 2:05:32

i do too he's great and can sing he just sounded like [ __ ] in the tiny desk and he was going inside he was

  • 2:05:37

excited god you've been excited before mall don't do that no you're getting excited don't do that

  • 2:05:43

definitely but when you're when you're a singer you get a little pitchy when you get excited yeah but you can't you can't

  • 2:05:48

come on man and these weren't even he it wasn't even like you necessarily needed to know how to

  • 2:05:55

sing like amazingly for a lot of these records well bmf for starters does not need

  • 2:06:00

    harmonization

  • 2:06:09

he was just doing too much he was they think i'm big meech yeah that was too much no it was too

  • 2:06:14

much it was it was just too much it was too much yeah i didn't gotta cut his eyebrow trying to wild out

  • 2:06:21

i like a logic blade i don't care what y'all saying i don't care no no we all do no i don't know he can sing but it's like

  • 2:06:28

that was just this wasn't one of his best outings do you like his pants uh listen if he sounded good my friend

  • 2:06:34

stepped in front of ross the whole time i would be like all right cool but he was on the back like go back to where the mic stand for the background

  • 2:06:40

singing joint is and i don't like the daisy duke with the sweatshirt just ain't my daisy duke with the sweats

  • 2:06:45

i don't like the combo it's jeans it's just different material they just go it's just it's jeans for daisy duke and then it's sweats i never

  • 2:06:52

did that with the levi's before oh i didn't even peep let me see oh this [ __ ] it's uh

  • 2:07:00

like meg meg would kill that outfit meg would body there i like the logic meg would fill those

  • 2:07:10

  • 2:07:22

    my college computer

  • 2:07:28

[Laughter] oh look fat [ __ ] giving it up on the

  • 2:07:34

side see he was chilling no he was chosen

  • 2:07:41

    [Laughter]

  • 2:07:53

are anytime they analyze the argument joe lost so that's true no no i mean any time the

  • 2:07:58

analyzation of us hating each other which is true but i don't hate you you're my [ __ ] guy i don't care what they say let's see

  • 2:08:05

  • 2:08:36

i i opened up the podcast with a a little tune away i'm on the on the podcast yeah yeah

  • 2:08:44

what art is what artists should look to do when they drop something

  • 2:08:55

because you're my guy and because i love you and because you've made such amazing records for the last decade

  • 2:09:01

i opened up the pod with a little just a phase right so don't say nothing hell up

  • 2:09:13

that's the line i called you about right there i hear love calling but i'm just so far

  • 2:09:19

away can you tell me how you came up with that line as a cheater

  • 2:09:24

    [Laughter] wait wait

  • 2:09:44

while he was cheating he didn't answer oh my god the record why

  • 2:09:51

why why um the record doesn't mean i was cheating it just means that i was far away from

  • 2:09:56

being able to receive the love that she was providing

  • 2:10:01

    [Laughter] [Music]

  • 2:10:11

just a phase so what does that mean just tell me what that means real quick before i let you go at what point is a

  • 2:10:17

lifetime not a phase respect respectfully i'm not even going

  • 2:10:24

to answer this and dignify it with any type of real answer just anyone who knows me knows that

  • 2:10:30

knows that i am not of that that's man that's true me and i all know you

  • 2:10:35

    that's right man [ __ ] know yours that's real that's

  • 2:10:48

have put myself into a very uh uh bad space at some point in time by

  • 2:10:54

    making learning

  • 2:11:06

    get closer [Music]

  • 2:11:19

all right all right all right so let me get it off you for a minute i'll ask you this did you think that i was going to get married either of the times i was

  • 2:11:25

engaged no no i heard a love call

  • 2:11:33

it was it was it was bonus it was close it was just

  • 2:11:41

i thought you would get married before me at least johnny's getting been gays and he's actually getting married he got a discount on the wedding

  • 2:11:47

pandemic we also haven't seen or heard from him it's still it's still

  • 2:11:57

let me say this it's still very possible for me because on your podcast which is heard

  • 2:12:04

by millions i want to say i'm going to work on fixing my past

  • 2:12:09

relationship this was like when they used to call into the radio station to get that girl back yeah listen listen when you when you're

  • 2:12:16

trying to fix it you got to do what you got to do but if it don't work then i'm cool but either way i'm gonna

  • 2:12:21

i'm gonna put the work in to fix my [ __ ] that's that's a part of my life i like that a lot hey we're more

  • 2:12:27

  • 2:14:39

no money caught one with this he did pisses me off when like really talented

  • 2:14:45

artists catch one creatively in the studio should be a bop and now you need all other tools to let

  • 2:14:52

people know that you caught one like i feel like amanda's going through that too much for me to not call him for

  • 2:14:58

me to not play this like he's had too many songs in the last decade that i've loved not because i work with him and know him

  • 2:15:03

    hold up hey

  • 2:15:09

you have to stop cheating to love her properly you're not afraid it's not it's not fear all right just

  • 2:15:16

should not fear the fear of connection i don't know

  • 2:15:25

    [Laughter]

  • 2:15:34

wait hold on listen always trying to change the ways nigga's

  • 2:15:40

i hate you shout out to armani great record just a phase out right now on your phone check it out uh where was we at man

  • 2:15:53

  • 2:16:00

oh no i killed i killed i went crazy i thought maybe you gave her the deluxe

  • 2:16:06

the deluxe what valentine's day photo songs yeah monday you gave her i know i killed it because she started

  • 2:16:12

touching me like she used to when she liked me started laughing at the jokes like she liked you oh you know when the touch get

  • 2:16:19

different started rubbing you a little bit more it was different it was it was like back in the day i didn't say nothing neither i just let

  • 2:16:26

it rot you just trembled but uh

  • 2:16:31

my heart started beating fast no what i'm saying so real quick story

  • 2:16:38

she got me this louis vuitton card holder i don't carry cash so a card holder makes sense

  • 2:16:44

i get that but here's the here's the gag

  • 2:16:50

i love my wallet the one that you have already this is my favorite wallet i've ever had

  • 2:16:56

in my whole life she was like y'all got you this cause your wallet is trash

  • 2:17:02

your [ __ ] look like the qvc [ __ ] like she just was going yeah that little button you pressed when

  • 2:17:07

we bout to buy something where your car do like that she hates it that [ __ ] is ass [ __ ] you like a broke bomb so here's some cool louis [ __ ] that

  • 2:17:15

like i'm not throwing this away i'm i'll be keeping it here sorry i didn't tell her that yeah

  • 2:17:21

yeah but qvc is not a diss to me like qvc has some [ __ ] i think the q stands for quality i started telling her

  • 2:17:27

like i think that's what it stands for quality control quality yo you ain't like the new tech on this like the cards flipped look

  • 2:17:34

at your techie bag she wasn't feeling like poop scammers about to get you you better tuck she wasn't feeling that oh yeah

  • 2:17:44

yeah the [ __ ] out of here but anyway all right what else we got to talk about let's see let's see some other things

  • 2:17:49

let's see let's see you got something uh the rock is running for president i'm sorry

  • 2:17:54

hello didn't you guys say that off mike i was saying that if dwayne johnson decides to run for presidency he will

  • 2:18:01

win oh okay i want to apologize to rory about what has that ever happened

  • 2:18:08

good maybe music can take tyrese

  • 2:18:16

maybe maybe maybe maybe once we start getting around 17

  • 2:18:23

    16. music has been doing this for a long time yeah and i think i maybe took some of

  • 2:18:29

that in in icon iconic spots

  • 2:18:36

like music has been an active artist early consistently for a while i said that that would be giving you time he's

  • 2:18:42

dropped once then he dropped it again four years later gave you some city dropped again four years later

  • 2:18:48

he did that kind of thing you know what i mean so music might be able to edge some of these people out in the later

  • 2:18:53

rounds i didn't we didn't even mention genuine's name i don't know how i feel about it i do me

  • 2:18:59

i'm not putting music in brian mcknight in the same sentence that i'm not doing but tyrese and uh who else did i say joe

  • 2:19:06

maybe i don't think so but going to 20 music is tougher than i

  • 2:19:12

gave than i sounded on the last spot so i want to apologize to rory for that apologize to music not to me no i'm not

  • 2:19:19

i'm going to see you more than i see i apologize to you and music because i [ __ ] with music shout out to

  • 2:19:25

philadelphia and uh [ __ ] just uh just the front of the point no matter when it comes on

  • 2:19:32

    no

  • 2:19:37

we should do a music versus joe i still don't know if music beats joe let's do it tonight i'm not doing it tonight but i don't have anywhere to go

  • 2:19:44

or anything why don't you have things to do at night when you go home

  • 2:19:50

i'm not looking at you joe stop looking at him so 2 21. we got a headache

  • 2:19:57

that yeah oh [ __ ] oh oh we're misrepresenting him

  • 2:20:05

not me people that i care about that have had enough love to love yeah and this podcast i had

  • 2:20:10

enough of the people that had enough money yeah how about that yeah me too joe oh the [ __ ]

  • 2:20:16

out of here he had enough of me we're just handling this entire section

  • 2:20:23

this nigga's crazy we don't got none of that no more down here hey ram throw the air

  • 2:20:29

it out here [ __ ] you die slow my folfo makes y'all your kids don't bro

  • 2:20:34

look what you stuck on into it you just got a while out um now what else is important all-star

  • 2:20:39

day not all-star weekend all-star day yes

  • 2:20:46

meaning that the skills challenge will be played prior to the all-star game and the dunk contest and three-point

  • 2:20:52

competition will uh air at halftime

  • 2:20:59

right of the all-star of the all-star game

  • 2:21:04

react it's stupid and it should not be happening and this

  • 2:21:10

is just a force they're forcing this to happen a lot of the

  • 2:21:15

superstars in the league don't want to participate i'm stealing that one i'll bring you a different flavor next week um oh

  • 2:21:22

that's a good one i have 50 of them in my house i'll bring i don't have that smell yeah this is

  • 2:21:28

this is just a force this is a force they're forcing it

  • 2:21:33

that sounds good you don't that's why it was sprayed that's why i was pretty yeah

  • 2:21:38

that is a good one though uh of course it's a force but nba is a business they want to make

  • 2:21:45

money and i'm not mad at them trying to do it all in one day i am this is not what all-star weekend

  • 2:21:52

is this is but it's not all-star weekend exactly awesome and this is not what life is our weekend you gotta adapt

  • 2:21:57

if we can do it in one day and it's good if it's bad then i take back everything i said listen atlanta has never has hasn't

  • 2:22:04

closed down during the entire year no it's gonna be a weekend i've seen 25 flights so i mean it's you know and it's a reason that the

  • 2:22:10

nba is doing it there like you know it's come on it's funny that the nba has to be more

  • 2:22:16

publicly responsible than the city of atlanta the nba is not even they're not they're

  • 2:22:22

not even being publicly responsible like i have seen so many flyers of every rapper you could think of for that whole

  • 2:22:27

weekend but the nba has to give off the perception that they care let's just do this real quick they're not doing they're not being

  • 2:22:33

publicly responsible it's a reason it's in atlanta it's the reason nba is doing this in

  • 2:22:38

atlanta who's who's in uh the dunk contest atlanta's open i don't particularly care about the skills challenge i never did so why is

  • 2:22:43

it the rest of the country i like the skills challenge you like to see people dribble oh my god he passed it through the thing

  • 2:22:51

yes so so yeah and atlanta's pointing the donkeys yeah that's that's right but the rest of the country isn't dane

  • 2:22:58

lewin first gotta uh say wants to do a three-point contest first contestant announced

  • 2:23:04

oh again now they're scared now the rest of them scared will you ask steve novak huh come through dane was the first one

  • 2:23:12

to say he wants to do a three-point contest he's doing it he's in it he's the first contestant announced

  • 2:23:17

now the rest i'm shook scared to speak so they speak because they're scared i don't think [ __ ] want to do this

  • 2:23:23

[ __ ] at halftime yeah say something come on fan what is this that [ __ ] is stupid

  • 2:23:28

that [ __ ] is stupid okay it's stupid okay i mean they didn't ask me the

  • 2:23:33

three-point contest but i'm a little nervous now that dame is doing it i probably wouldn't go against him in a three

  • 2:23:40

and dame is another one that deserves mvp recognition for sure he's not even starting right no

  • 2:23:47

but who is he going to start over fair lebron

  • 2:23:55

come on he's not stopping lebron he'll beat it though nikolai balkoff that's what i said

  • 2:24:01

placement get him out of here you never like jokic i don't dislike him

  • 2:24:08

he became busy he said he was soft i still think he's off how joe that don't even make sense

  • 2:24:14

because kevin garnett had to punch him in his face and he won't do nothing that's why kevin garnett won't punch him in this way no he wouldn't yes he would no he

  • 2:24:19

wouldn't that nickel eyeball who was kevin garnett ever punched in the face well you don't know a nice exactly somebody in his face adam saylor

  • 2:24:29

let's just keep going y'all that was really funny that was hilarious actually i hate adam sandler why was the weekend

  • 2:24:36

in that movie why does the weekend have a super bowl ring

  • 2:24:42

yo that take they killed you for i'm gonna stay with you man that movie is trashed what movie uh

  • 2:24:48

blazing saddles what was it called the game smith gems

  • 2:24:55

that movie was not good it was uh it was it was the most unrealistic [ __ ] in the world it just went like i spent my whole life

  • 2:25:01

trying to get this rock you just hold it down for a weekend though it's cool it just wasn't good the whole premise was bad

  • 2:25:08

it was an entertaining movie but the basic premise of the movie was bad though i felt him when he was a meat packing in front of one oak and shorty went in

  • 2:25:15

with the weekend he's like no maybe she'll come out no she's not coming out bro i'm trying to take my engagement ring

  • 2:25:21

somewhere the one that i still have it's adam sandler so that the diamond can be made

  • 2:25:27

into a cool something for me but i don't trust bringing that diamond anywhere and

  • 2:25:33

getting it back uh i got you because how would i know rory will do it no i got you

  • 2:25:38

you got to just see why don't you just see what but how would i know i i can promise you see what they'll give you for it

  • 2:25:45

i don't want the money for it no but i'm just saying that if you take the diamond and you say listen how much appraise it how much is

  • 2:25:51

this worth how much you want to give me because right now gold i think gold is more now diamonds might you know the market changes in that but

  • 2:25:57

just see what they're willing to give you and then you can see what you can get for it so take a loss on maybe 30 40 grand take

  • 2:26:05

that i don't think you know you're not going to lose 30 40 grand yes that's the problem with that's the problem with getting an engagement ring

  • 2:26:10

and not being engaged like you pick the diamond i picked the diamond so to bring it back

  • 2:26:17

he could take it but he has to wait for somebody else that's going to pick that exact diamond i understand that so

  • 2:26:25

i don't think you lose 30 grand that's why the first i didn't pay that much for the first one because that was some tv [ __ ] i went and got some

  • 2:26:31

oh i wouldn't get my watch but uh this one's a little different what do you want to do with it i've uh

  • 2:26:37

my my family is married into some high-profile jewish people that are in the diamond district in the city

  • 2:26:43

uh that's that's how that's how i got the nominee discount on mine she's probably gonna [ __ ] was worth 20 grand you think i look good with a

  • 2:26:49

stud right here no never mind i take back any connection

  • 2:26:58

right alex you got stuff let me see your shoes right alex

  • 2:27:06

god damn i'm surprised bugs bunny don't attack you with those carrots

  • 2:27:16

    [Laughter]

  • 2:27:24

all right what else do we have to talk about i don't think i have anything i need all right jazz all right it's always a

  • 2:27:31

    jazz isn't it man you know it's a mad jazz i was supposed to [ __ ] didn't

  • 2:27:38

shout out to the jazzers uh let's see let's see ross tiny desk male group dms excuse me

  • 2:27:46

i keep getting them from who males male friend groups bills that you know

  • 2:27:54

no i don't know these dudes they just keep putting me in their group chat dms in the request or in yeah oh yeah no

  • 2:28:01

that happens why i'm not in their friend group nor do i want to read anything that men are saying that happens actually

  • 2:28:07

i want to talk to you i don't want to speak to men about you don't talk to the people no that's

  • 2:28:12

why it's amazing i've never ever wanted to talk to the people that was all a facade

  • 2:28:18

i hate creators oh my god they're the worst special rob every one of them

  • 2:28:26

uh all right so that's it then i don't have nothing y'all i have none it's fine we can go let me see let me just make sure

  • 2:28:31

new currency oh naomi defeats serena we didn't talk about that that's a big deal yeah yeah that i think that i think it's

  • 2:28:38

the the passion of the torch yeah honestly i think that's what it is that matches around late at night weren't

  • 2:28:43

they 3am was it was the first year but what courted crew was watching this oh

  • 2:28:49

you know you know courtney i'm sure you know cordee was there i said cordee crew was watching this one

  • 2:28:54

no i don't that i don't know come on hbc more i don't know i don't know if his crew is watching it

  • 2:29:00

but yeah serena's um arguably the greatest athlete of all time i just think that father tom catches

  • 2:29:07

everybody eventually sure and i think that's where it's at but you know i i like i like the fact that

  • 2:29:15

if serena is going to lose she's going to lose to the next great one i respect that in

  • 2:29:21

sports that's kind of the thing that's true yeah that's how i should go oh sorry what's up shoot me no that's

  • 2:29:27

the next that's the next good thing in sports that's some ass shake look let me show you what i was looking at

  • 2:29:32

another jazz see if room see if i'm gonna [Music]

  • 2:29:58

give me my phone back so annoying

  • 2:30:07

hey you okay you got sleepers or something

  • 2:30:12

i'm great why don't when i'm doing looking at my phone like y'all do every pod for the last seven years why

  • 2:30:17

don't you all discuss something because you're adding maybe i want to look at my phone to find something to discuss too like you guys do for seven years

  • 2:30:25

you're looking at us you can talk like when i'm looking at this rory don't have to look do you like this you're looking at that you don't have to

  • 2:30:30

    play with his

  • 2:30:41

[Music] don't spin the seat around i'll wait for

  • 2:30:48

mine to say something and challenge her with resistance i don't know what the [ __ ] is he talking about

  • 2:30:56

yo that's out of there right yeah yeah we cleaned that

  • 2:31:04

that should sound good all right come on come on what are we doing is that it you got another take uh another cultural critique what's up

  • 2:31:12

    shout out to sereno

  • 2:31:26

yo why men don't aren't allowed the space to say men [ __ ] no more wait who i don't know that's a lick who's coordinated in 98

  • 2:31:34

    when i met a girl with a car and her own crib my [ __ ] high-fived me i didn't

  • 2:31:50

you know that's how you feel about it yeah that's my man's and all but chill yeah i mean jay i see you on clubhouse

  • 2:31:58

and all that i mean i'll be at the australian open are you still on clubhouse it's just a

  • 2:32:05

little weird for me i'm at the u.s open did you see me it's just a little bit of it yeah seven right here

  • 2:32:14

don't you just wear white or something there and i love it i [ __ ] with jay jay o'matty a lot too so i'm just i'm

  • 2:32:19

just joking i'm just joking he's another real cool [ __ ] but he hit a look like this it's just a little weird man

  • 2:32:25

because they kind of look like subjective they look like a little bit idiot i don't know right i don't know subjective yeah

  • 2:32:31

they could be related she just made 40 million dollars subjective she's not subjective if she

  • 2:32:38

how you define headaches she made 40 million dollars that's great in the night it's great

  • 2:32:44

look at him when you he looks pretty happy when a rapper smiles without his lips showing he's excited no

  • 2:33:05

or wrong i know i know i'm safe that might be my little sister that's his wiz

  • 2:33:10

no for sure that's his queen he's there absolutely congratulations i'm real happy for them

  • 2:33:15

yeah i'm happy for him that's great she's she's the next great one and shout out to serena

  • 2:33:21

oh yeah hey serena yeah somehow it feels like this is just how serena should go out

  • 2:33:27

like losing she know that into the phenom that you think she knows that's why she was emotional this frustration that serena has to have

  • 2:33:34

for the young lady that continues to beat her that's what people had to deal with when serena was there right

  • 2:33:40

um absolutely so it makes sense to me no that's that's why i said uh you know she was emotional for a reason she understands what this is

  • 2:33:46

and um you know she knows somebody crazy to beat your idol like that that's how it goes

  • 2:33:54

that's got to be kind of nuts we're both competitive it's my time i'm your idol the highest title numero

  • 2:34:00

uno can you finish it don't debate me ever again don't debate me on here i don't want to

  • 2:34:05

hear your mouth anymore can anybody finish it i'm not a puerto rican but i kick it so that you know where i'm from

  • 2:34:23

why i bought the album okay well i know my older brother let me not do that i'm lying right now

  • 2:34:29

but boy what album i thought shout out to special ed shout outs especially i'm the magnificent with

  • 2:34:35

the sensation come on man hey man if i didn't have some r b [ __ ] to play i'll play special other sleeper maybe next time

  • 2:34:40

    today's friday i don't even feel like a friday it don't

  • 2:34:47

yeah that's i would have been a lot sillier if i had not remembered that listen i'm in there trying to give him

  • 2:34:52

the news yeah ted cruz went away i'm trying to drop wednesday gems on them

  • 2:35:00

houston had some power outages pam everyone's trying to get drunk if you would have just went to college you

  • 2:35:05

would understand what a friday night was like yo oh man think about that

  • 2:35:11

yo how we ain't even touched when the college dropout is getting a divorce come on someone that went to college can

  • 2:35:18

get divorced absolutely not that's crazy i don't even like that they trying to market to the

divorce crowd what do you know i hate when when they do that

  • 2:35:31

not getting the gospel version of back to life anymore

  • 2:35:43

all i kept seeing was gospel versions of bell bib devote records yeah but we saw this that's what you're doing it was kind of hard though when

  • 2:35:49

they were arguing that devil's poison

  • 2:36:01

    [Laughter]

  • 2:36:06

hey it's my poison you are stupid he said that they

  • 2:36:13

actually did that yeah i don't know they should have smells you know that devil's poison

  • 2:36:19

anyway we're not hearing no renditions anymore i'm saying yeah it's quiet for that and i feel for kanye i'm not even gonna make a bunch of jokes

  • 2:36:25

divorce is tough yeah divorce is tough and i do believe that that they were like really really really in love uh

  • 2:36:32

also a divorce at this magnitude with this much business involved it is big business

  • 2:36:37

has to be stressful for for both parties a lot of kids kids involved like especially when

  • 2:36:43

you've been separated for a little while now like this is a lot going on

  • 2:36:49

i want to pray for them both and hope that they're both well cause and yeah yay has seemed to be going

  • 2:36:55

through some mental health issues for some time i don't think the divorce is gonna help that very much so

  • 2:37:01

yeah i know i say prayers for everyone involved as a joke usually i'm dead ass here this divorce is not that's not question

  • 2:37:07

i never think i'd be joking difficult sometimes sometimes i do but i'll be serious he jokes with the edit button yeah but

  • 2:37:14

also uh oh but for the other way to look at it um as louis ck says don't ever

  • 2:37:21

you know sigh when someone gets divorced no good marriage has ever gotten divorced like you should be happy be happy for me

  • 2:37:28

[Music] yeah another way to look at it i don't know i don't know their point of

  • 2:37:33

view but just give it another scrap all them songs you made before the divorce happened every last one of them what's the

  • 2:37:40

breakup help themselves yeah yeah yeah now i need 808's and heartbreak i need the 909 i need

  • 2:37:46

something part two yeah yeah you get the 909 yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah i need to hear it i need to hear it

  • 2:37:52

this one hurts this would hurt

  • 2:37:57

i cried over [ __ ] far less far less than canada

  • 2:38:02

with four kids and an empire yeah oh man yeah appreciable for them

  • 2:38:08

man you're not for real that's that's all i got here i don't have an i have a take i don't have anything funny just prayers to them both uh i don't

  • 2:38:15

think there's anything else that i need to touch pause all-star day mta hanks ross tiny

  • 2:38:22

  • 2:38:28

supposed to be earlier y'all falling off that is true y'all falling off we were supposed to have a blast with this one

  • 2:38:35

we might need to say that because i i can't lie i can't tell a lot i feel away about what a you know brawn

  • 2:38:44

it's cool sometimes you do it first and then someone with money comes in

  • 2:38:49

tell me about it he's biting your [ __ ] tell me about it i can't even speak on

  • 2:38:55

it because [ __ ] just think i hate braun and i really don't let's save it okay because i think this is a funny segment

  • 2:39:01

all right let's do it oh who's gonna a r his project brawn

  • 2:39:10

double cup joe two chains whoo

  • 2:39:21

have you looked into your uh into indigestion

  • 2:39:30

you should it really is probably just like lemonade or something that you drink all the time either way you should

  • 2:39:36

check it out yeah i'm gonna go to the doctor either way this time yeah gotta do a little checkup every now and then yeah

  • 2:39:42

i was a little paranoid to go to the doctor last year with the [ __ ] world ending but listen outside

  • 2:39:47

of the cord cutting [ __ ] i got a whole holistic doctor now doing my diet doing all that [ __ ] still never sent a

  • 2:39:54

core cutter's number oh you know what let me put you on the email right now yeah that'd be nice you know everybody

  • 2:40:00

every time people are dming me about yeah oh no my dms and mentions every [ __ ] day is about

  • 2:40:06

it and let me tell y'all now uh for the people because we didn't really get into that segment for everyone dealing with anxiety depression

  • 2:40:12

uh breakups just bad [ __ ] constipation uh cord cutting doesn't

  • 2:40:18

have anything to do with that you can't get a cord cut and your anxiety will leave or your depression will leave or what you're

  • 2:40:24

going through will leave it's a much deeper thing and it's a journey you have to do on your own i

  • 2:40:30

can't give you the cord lady it just don't work that way repeat the last part

  • 2:40:37

it's for if you're going through something specifically that is you feel is really

  • 2:40:42

bringing you down cutting the cords is not going to end that you're not going to wake up and

  • 2:40:47

feel differently it's a thing we all do subconsciously you create chords with other people

  • 2:40:52

people create chords with you it's not directly affecting your depression or your anxiety

  • 2:40:58

it affects your energy that you deal with every day which again could eventually get there

  • 2:41:03

but that's not that's not going to be a cure for i encourage people to do it but i think because we didn't get into that segment

  • 2:41:09

people took that as i'm cutting chords for major things in my life and it'll do

  • 2:41:15

that way and this is also something you have to kind of go on your own to eventually get to the person that will be right for you

  • 2:41:22

i can't give you the cord lady and she'll be right for you it's a journey that takes some time to get to

  • 2:41:28

okay so yeah i can't just pass that off the way it's a circle thing

  • 2:41:35

okay with within our circle i can do that because it's an energy thing okay i

  • 2:41:41

can't give it to a stranger and it'll work she'll have no idea what to do with you

  • 2:41:48

so yeah also get that checked out from a real doctor yeah

  • 2:41:55

yeah i want to thank rory for that man nah dead ass for real fr on that one

  • 2:42:04

as i'm putting you on email welcome to [ __ ] you will not get me to clown cord
