- 1:17
deshawn watson right now yeah i'll say that i had a pretty good you know good weekend i was chilling
- 1:23
all right i'm faxed up so we went you know got some food out in in the real world tried to go to a bar but they closed at 11 so that didn't work out you
- 1:29

- 1:36

- 1:42
morning first of all we are powered by empowered by brought to you by sponsored by
- 1:47
tolerated by none other than our favorite app in the world cash app salute to the god jury know the vibes
- 1:53
the news this morning said that crime and i have a blast watching the
- 1:58
news and sometimes things are funny that shouldn't be funny the news says this is never funny yeah
- 2:04
i think it's funny sometimes depressing [ __ ] in the world or really funny but this morning they
- 2:10
said that crime this week is up considerably
- 2:17
really from the same time last year you don't say i laughed for at least 25
- 2:24
minutes in my room i did why would that be the news is just funny how they frame
- 2:30
things that's a stupid statistic well that's what they said okay uh then they
- 2:35
said that vaccinations are now allowed in new york for people that are 30-plus
- 2:41
uh so that's cool let me hit a round of applause for tax energy so that's 30 yards parks is big vac synergy
- 2:47
ice you can't wait to get vacs two days ish where do you stand on this back stuff okay
- 2:54
did you get covered at all i did you did okay you might not need it so you got
- 2:59
wait so let's dig into this here so you got kovit and you're still against the vax can you
- 3:04
please speak into the microphone sir yeah i am against the facts i'm against
- 3:09
the facts you're asking why yeah just give it to me uh it's too new
- 3:15
it's one of those it's nowhere near um tried and tested
- 3:23
well you think this is the beta version it's out okay yeah like again we rushed to get a vaccine
- 3:29
for something that was killing a whole bunch of people so i understand the urgency however i'm not being a guinea pig
- 3:37
and that's literally what they skipped they skipped the monkey trials they skipped the guinea pig trials and jumped
- 3:42
straight to people i'm cool i'll pass but what if they didn't skip
- 3:48
those what if they did try it on animals no they said that they did not i get what i get what is saying they
- 3:54
said that they i do understand that he said they haven't had time to change but you believe what affects us oh sure
- 3:59
you believe what they say in the public when i when i went to get one of my more recent colby tests the person
- 4:05
administering it i mean a person say this but they basically told me yo man some of the
- 4:11
trials for the vax they've been running it on blah blah blah blah blah and them has been falling off it's been
- 4:18
nasty [ __ ] so they got some more a little bit more ways to go so i mean i say that to say they
- 4:23
tested it somewhere right yeah no they have volunteers like they were paying people to come
- 4:28
right hundreds of thousands of people pretty sure they were they were they were paying people to do it yeah again brazil my [ __ ] was dropping like
- 4:35
flies norway my focus was dropping like flies i'm cool so again the normal vaccine from what
- 4:41
i've read and what i've heard the normal vaccine takes about four years to develop
- 4:47
we did it in nine months well it's because the technology for the vaccine was already there it had to be tweaked
- 4:52
for this particular strain of coronavirus oh wow you think yeah i kind of do
- 5:00
so watch this so now also in that glad that you brought up the strains of coronavirus now it's
- 5:08
17 new strains yeah ninety-nine very nice popping up which means that the the vaccine isn't even as
- 5:15
the efficacy rate of the vaccine is it's [ __ ] let me ask you one question um what's
- 5:20
your stance on the flu shot i never took a flu shot in my life polio vaccine
- 5:25
what a michael paul said i'm asking have you been vaccinated for polio i think we all have we all have
- 5:33
measles chicken pox we all have so then what is your argument what's your argument there then for
- 5:38
taking some of the other vaccinations and being so against this one that's my first argument and again my very first stance was this one is not
- 5:44
tried and true this one has not been tested by others here's my second my second point to you
- 5:50
is and it's awesome that you know americans believe that free thought
- 5:57
is a thing corey and i have had these conversations a bunch as far as vaccination where it's like okay
- 6:03
uh are you taking the backs he says [ __ ] no i say [ __ ] no a week later a report comes out that
- 6:09
says hey you can't get your passport updated unless you are vaccinated you
- 6:15
can't get your license renewed unless you are vaccinated you can't fly places unless you are vaccinated just that fast free thought
- 6:22
disappeared i agree just that fast it's uh maybe i'll do it if you're leveraging
- 6:28
those things against me you as someone who travels often what do you do when they say unless you are
- 6:33
vaccinated you are stricken to america and america only
- 6:39
one serious question now on the record i'm from the hood man we circumvent
- 6:44
things i'm just
- 6:50
yo how much that cost i'm dead i'm serious
- 6:55
that's my stance until they show you are almost i'm 45 years old
- 7:04
you're a beautiful guy you're not going to be that guy and cory's almost 50 years old too and
- 7:10
he definitely faked the vaccination test to go to the nick game
- 7:22
[Laughter] but look where we've gotten into it and i trust this i didn't expect to open up
- 7:36
[Music] [Applause]
- 7:42
unfortunately we put people have come to a place where we have to now think outside the box to circumvent some
- 7:49
[ __ ] that the government is trying to force us to do for our own rights and freedoms [ __ ]
- 7:54
what are you making for shut up i can't go to the nick game unless i get vaccinated
- 8:00
what the [ __ ] yes yeah you sound stupid wait so much but think about it kids
- 8:05
can't go to school if they're not boxing that's not true that's not true and
- 8:11
that's not would you vaccinate your son would you vaccinate your daughter would you vaccinate your daughter yes no i was totally against vaccinating
- 8:17
my daughter my baby already got shots i was totally we just got a last round february 17th i
- 8:23
was totally against uh vaccinating my son of any sort and i didn't want to have the argument
- 8:29
with his mom exactly so i fold it yeah but she never came to me to try to discuss my views on it
- 8:36
nor did she ever take the time to try to understand my views on that and i'm not sure that culturally
- 8:42
she would even understood some of my views on it i mean if you found on why though why
- 8:48
are you so gung-ho for the covet vaccine but you are against vaccinating lex
- 8:54
same rules apply not true for me by all means i've had covet okay
- 9:02
so i've gone to bed and felt like okay this might be it
- 9:07
damn [ __ ] ain't in order for this to be i thought i had another few more
- 9:13
not like this yo once the finality hits that's what i was just telling y'all
- 9:18
hey we could all say yo we gonna die one day we're gonna die but when you get to the day it's like
- 9:24
damn did i do this life thing the way it was supposed to be done so i've had those stuff let me get into it
- 9:30
okay i've never had the flu and felt that way i've never had
- 9:36
polio and felt that way wingworm whatever the things that are that you get hopefully i've never had those things knock on wood cool
- 9:43
but covid yes so it puts my belief system at an interesting point which is my
- 9:50
parents and i've talked to corey about this my parents i want them to rush out and get that covet test they're at the age where i'm not going
- 9:56
to play like that you mean vaccine i mean yeah not covered i'm sorry the vaccine they're at the age where i'm not going to play like that
- 10:02
at my age i might still play like that but if you're telling me i can't fly i can't go to the next game i can't do all
- 10:09
of that cool i won't my son my youngest born is young enough for me to apply all of
- 10:16
the natural immune system stuff to in the event that i didn't trust
- 10:21
anything about the government or vaccines which at my core belief system exists
- 10:28
i'm and so just how fast do you see how i have a different point of view
- 10:33
for all the people that i love my oldest son i would want him to get it i got to tell you this all the seamoss in the
- 10:39
world ain't going to stop that polio no or that measles you know that's what i was saying like now you should eat
- 10:45
healthy and do all that [ __ ] and take all them supplements but certain [ __ ] ain't gonna cut it listen when i talk to my cousins aren't gonna kill you
- 10:52
when i speak to my cousin who is a doctor children when i speak to my cousin who is a doctor and he reminds me that
- 10:59
i have had covet and have almost i think music i felt my dad has had covet felt like he
- 11:05
was almost out of here my cousin's position is how could you argue against modern medicine
- 11:13
i have a i have an answer for that answer and then let's move on to something fun all right cool when people sell
- 11:20
pharmaceuticals right the pharmaceutical rep comes in tells the doctor whatever they tell them right i'm
- 11:27
listening the doctor that is now basically a carrier of information
- 11:34
tells you what the pharmaceutical rep told them i'm listening so what stops
- 11:42
let me backtrack i'm sorry let me give you an example johnson and johnson for years has been saying
- 11:47
x y and z right now we now find that products that johnson and johnson tell us we're selling cancer this is my
- 11:54
point tell us this is my point right so johnson johnson has been pushing products for years that doctors didn't
- 11:59
mind pushing [ __ ] the johnson and johnson we grew up in an era where milk does a body good
- 12:06
and that's wrong it was pushed our whole entire existence milk does a body good by the government by the fda by
- 12:12
everybody that we are supposed to trust you're right milk is [ __ ] for you and we all know that now
- 12:18
again we've also been raised on soul food they won't tell us really how bad that is this is true so
- 12:23
my thing but but soul food is your grandmother soul food is not the government soul food is not the fda
- 12:29
that [ __ ] says you i love it but it's bad for you says you i mean i don't know where the idea of
- 12:35
chitlins came from
- 12:51
intestines of animals because that's all we're privy to then that is the government i'm arguing
- 12:56
that ain't my grandma no that's not the government that's not the the government is
- 13:01
i get it i get it yeah i get it i get your idea i get what you say come on i get what he said you said if all we're privy to is chitlins from a slave master
- 13:09
once they cut the pig his intestines are laying on the ground we picked them up seasoned them cooked them and ate them yeah with that
- 13:16
hold on let me tell you a story i don't know if this was you i was talking to was this somebody me and corey was
- 13:21
talking to i don't remember who this person was that was telling this story this is regurgitated but i'll give it to you archer it might have been you but it
- 13:27
can't be you if you have this dance anyway somebody from down south dave family great grandma or somebody went to the
- 13:35
supermarket to uh back in the day they used to put the the uh pigs on the line and you had to
- 13:43
pick the pig okay right do you remember who told the story you had to pick the pig it wasn't me but all right i'm listening
- 13:49
they had the pigs on the line and you had to pick the pig back in the day to pick what you wanted right and then
- 13:55
they would go and chop it up or do whatever they had to do and when they would do this they would take this they would take the
- 14:02
inside and it was this long rod that they would throw to the side every time
- 14:07
and the guy's great grandma said yo man what you doing with that and they said we're throwing it to the
- 14:14
side this is such and such it's a waste it's blah blah blah and the guy's great
- 14:19
grandma said no give it to me give it to me and now check the price of oxtail today
- 14:25
true so that's what i'm saying here do you follow how that is relative
- 14:32
here at all but i don't see how that makes your sense that the government was responsible for black
- 14:42
people so much and that is government
- 14:47
restricted that's not from anywhere else that's them taking the farms from us i
- 14:53
agree but that's them changing the farming laws on factory laws on us it's done feeding the
- 15:00
dirt different listen somebody told me when i went to mercedes i would they was taking a long time on my car i went out to smoke a
- 15:06
cigarette i came back he said if i i used to work in virginia if i showed you how a cigarette was made
- 15:13
you'd never smoke it again i said tell me more he said i was running farmland all we do is all they did is take
- 15:18
all of the intestines and [ __ ] that nobody wants from the inside of the animal and soil it up and roll it up
- 15:27
and i said oh my god oh my god oh wow wait a minute wait wait wait wait
- 15:32
a second buddy so you smoking some wild [ __ ] we all are smoking some wild [ __ ] there's a reason why and we 24 minutes
- 15:39
there's a reason why there's no cigarette commercials but again this is my overall
- 15:44
point at one point in time the fda approved it so what stops
- 15:51
the fbi and the cia all that other [ __ ] so why are you telling me about what they approve hey i cut them [ __ ] to
- 15:56
check and they'll approve something you're right so now what the [ __ ] stops in 20 years the same way they saying
- 16:02
milk does a body good 20 years ago and they telling us to go get covet stamped what stops in 20 years [ __ ] saying you
- 16:08
know what we [ __ ] up if you took the covet 19 vaccine you could be entitled to a huge lump sum of
- 16:14
money what stops that if i don't trust these bastards all right then nothing stuff so yeah it
- 16:21
might happen that's my reservation for not taking it she's gonna be dead shut up wait what
- 16:27
the [ __ ] is he talking about no again you don't get to have that reservation watch you i'm 45 nick you got a
- 16:33
max 50 years left okay what's your point i understand i said 20
- 16:39
years bastard i didn't say 50.
- 16:44
next next stop hey man i think anybody who doesn't want to get the vaccine cool man do what you want to do with your body
- 16:50
all right that's how i feel no i i i am getting my [ __ ] because my point is saying that his life is different my
- 16:55
point in saying that was and i could be wrong this could be applicable to you but the next generation is always privy
- 17:01
to more information than we want like listen when the microwave first came out i remember having a blast
- 17:07
when we could afford to get a microwave it was awesome it wasn't until 25 years after the fact that they said
- 17:12
oh this is how that food's getting hot in there and i was like oh come on come on like that's [ __ ] up now you want me to not use the microwave
- 17:19
standard parks didn't have a microwave for mad years listen chicken wings i was broke chinese joint
- 17:24
i'm there it wasn't until 25 years later but it was like yo man what's happening to cats
- 17:32
what the [ __ ] forget it come on let's move on let's move on [Laughter]
- 17:40
hey that's what they said that's what they said that's what they said and know what's
- 17:46
funny about that look how the whole room laughed because that's funny you can't get a chicken wing from a cat
- 17:53
but if somebody tells you at 15 or 16 years old that they're killing cats in back of the
- 17:58
chinese food and putting it in your shrimp fried rice you will do more investigating
- 18:06
right now i'm gonna be honest in your further investigation you would see
- 18:13
whatever it is oh good chickens blah blah blah i just watched the doc on netflix the other day
- 18:19
that i shouldn't have been watching when i was bored it was about the sea oh it was about it was about to see i
- 18:25
heard this nice great so informative boy you feel bad when you see what they're doing to the sharks when you see what they're doing to the
- 18:31
whales cutting the fins hong kong blah blah blah blah blah blah like it's [ __ ] up out there but that's what it is i agree
- 18:39
they're showing you hey they're showing you in hong kong them going to the spots where they're selling the shark fins and
- 18:44
they're following the chain of [ __ ] they like camera cut camera no no record
- 18:51
camera yeah they had to go to the spy shop shut up [ __ ] you stop telling me what i
- 18:56
can and cancel god damn it just bleep it out sitting there all [ __ ] uncomfortable with you
- 19:02
and rory enough of this listen they had to go to the spy shop and get a special camera
- 19:08
so they could film what was actually happening like some little secret [ __ ] yeah okay so i say that to say yeah it's
- 19:14
funny you can't get a chicken wing out of cats but if you but when you see something that makes you and listen
- 19:21
i gotta be honest come on let's talk about some fun [ __ ] let's talk about there's some function on your screen right there
- 19:28
[Laughter] [Music] you [ __ ] gotta stay out of elevators
- 19:33
man oh [ __ ] all right i don't know what i don't know
- 19:40
what to say this is breaking news yeah this is breaking news this story is all over the
- 19:45
place i know a few of the people involved i'll try to speak about it respectfully of course no pun intended
- 19:51
seems to be a lot of aftermath from the sweetie appearance on the respectfully justin show on
- 19:57
revolt with justin the boy that seems to have spawned a breakup between
- 20:03
quavo and sweetie which seems to have birthed them both giving their respective sides
- 20:09
of things and in that we're getting conversations leaked and we're getting footage
- 20:15
now leaked of an altercation between cuevo and sweetie inside of an elevator i haven't seen
- 20:21
this footage i haven't seen it if there's something domestic that happened here i apologize
- 20:27
i haven't seen it to speak on it i don't know what's inbounds or out of bounds yet but that
- 20:32
is what is going on this looks bad there are rumors swirling that
- 20:38
there was an altercation in atlanta between justin the boy and either migos or amigos affiliates
- 20:46
i would use this time as a salacious moment to call justin the boy myself to find out
- 20:53
but that wouldn't tell me anything i did reach out to justin the boy to say hey
- 20:58
are you good he said yes sir that didn't tell me
- 21:05
anything what are you supposed to say no they didn't tell me anything they put foot to
- 21:11
ask that told me that he was good on the way here ice shows me a video of quavious posting something that said
- 21:19
sometimes things have to get straightened out a little straightening a little straightening is all it was
- 21:25
yeah but this elevator scene don't look like a good straightener i don't think it was about that's
- 21:40
but straighten is what he said i think that's cryptic but i understand what he's saying and where he's going with
- 21:46
that i get it i'm not now react how do we feel about this
- 21:52
well which part cause there's a lot of [ __ ] going on how do you feel about any of what's going on what what did
- 21:58
justin laboy do that was worth straightening i agree with that i don't know i'm asking him i
- 22:03
don't know he might have been curly and needed his ass straightened out i don't know i'm saying what justin laboy's show that
- 22:09
sweetie featured on with her ex allegedly right but why is that you got things a little saucy why
- 22:15
does that mean you got beat up just in the boy though why don't you see because you and all right you in a relationship
- 22:21
let's do it let's do it why don't you yeah you go to your fiance and say yo i don't want you to do
- 22:28
this show with your ex she wants to do it okay that's an
- 22:35
argument in the house of course correct indeed so what do you mean i don't understand why you beat him just a little boy
- 22:43
okay so she did the show unless there was something that happened behind the scenes so let's talk about you did you did the
- 22:48
show and now you know that i am her significant other
- 22:54
and what if i feel like you're lying in questioning might have been misleading
- 22:59
inappropriately disrespectful you was playing you was joining up with me
- 23:05
wait cool that's how i felt there then she left the show was over rumors of our breakup went out you've
- 23:12
been getting saucy on your instagram about our breakup my role
- 23:17
in it you're posting the meme
- 23:27
he has a show so he should be doing a press run yeah he has a brand new show that's a hit okay but what was he talking about the
- 23:34
show has done half a million a million both times out the show was a smash was he was he talking crazy about quavo
- 23:40
during any of that well who are you asking he just said he's just making a bunch of memes
- 23:48
if you asking questions then the answer is yes in my song only human there was a dude
- 23:55
in the third verse running around with something some old work of mine he was getting extra with it
- 24:00
i wanted to do something to him now because i wanted her he was just real extra with it this was real extra if
- 24:07
you're a man and you've been in this spot i don't see how you don't understand his position i get it no no no again i didn't know
- 24:13
what had transpired well now that you know where do you stand again if he was talking slick he needed some
- 24:19
straightened out if you were making a joke out of my situation my breakup my et cetera et
- 24:24
cetera and you are being disrespectful you handle what comes along with that even even before that you you sit near
- 24:30
your line a question you know that's my girl you know you know yeah uh how can i say this it's
- 24:38
do's and don'ts it's dudes and dogs and dogs then when you cross that line then you handle you have to deal with
- 24:43
that but my stance on that is let's just say hypothetically i've always had this
- 24:49
dance if i catch my girl coming out the hotel with the dude
- 24:54
i don't know the dude okay i'm not fighting the dude that's right that's actually i promise you i
- 25:08
wait timeout you have fought the dude i've never thought you had been in this
- 25:15
exact situation and nothing happened to the dude not one thing i looked at the next one he said why
- 25:22
didn't that he didn't want no problems but what if he was with him so that's a [ __ ] contradiction what are you talking about
- 25:28
that's the dude and fighting the dude is different no no listen no that's not true the only difference is the dudes let me
- 25:34
hear it let me hear it let me hear it i catch my if i catch my girl coming up if you was there and i was there you
- 25:40
weren't there but if i catch my girl coming you asked me to pull up it wasn't to talk to her
- 25:45
hey you asked me to pull up come up with this you asked me to pull up and it wasn't just me together wait wait wait wait wait no no
- 25:53
i'm not gonna let you lie let him
- 26:02
speak to him all right so watch this if i catch my girl yes coming out of hotel with a dude
- 26:08
i don't have a problem with the dude if i don't know him now if i know you that's a situation if i don't know you you have not done
- 26:14
anything disrespectful to me at all can i just ask you one question on that dude you might not know him he knows you he
- 26:22
knows
- 26:36
chick yo i have been with ish throughout this guy's nuts let me talk can i talk
- 26:42
no you can't lie let me know all right let's let me lie let me finish the story let me let's answer my question though
- 26:47
answer my question no no i don't have a problem with that can i talk
- 27:05
my stance i know what it is if i pop in the [ __ ] girl i know she got a man if you get caught
- 27:11
cheating by your man that's on you all right are you crazy let me ask you another question ish you since you said
- 27:16
everyone has popped somebody's good hey you know he
- 27:25
yes you have in my life absolutely i have when else will be i didn't expect us to really get this far into this topic we
- 27:32
just totally derailed ish let me talk for two seconds you have had this argument because
- 27:38
you've spoken to me about this argument and i have felt the same so i've had this argument in my life as well
- 27:45
when a girl that we've been intimate with starts [ __ ] with a new dude and now the new dude knows
- 27:51
our identity and they keep his secret from us that's an issue that's a safety issue
- 27:59
indeed and we because we real [ __ ] we say something to the girl yo man
- 28:06
what the [ __ ] are you doing over there if i'm in a club and your dude comes out and he knows my face
- 28:12
and i don't know his face what took place
- 28:19
all right so watch this what he's speaking on happened to me i wasn't even [ __ ] the girl this is a i hadn't seen
- 28:26
the girl over literally years old work huh i hadn't seen her like i hadn't placed my eyes on
- 28:31
her in years i don't even know what her dude looks like i'm gonna do you one worse than whatever he is saying right
- 28:37
the [ __ ] comes up i don't even know who you are the [ __ ] put his hand out i'm going to shake the [ __ ] here
- 28:43
like oh what up dog like you know [ __ ] know your face from being in the spot i'm thinking he's one of them i don't
- 28:48
know but story that it's just telling that may be a separate time maybe
- 28:53
no you were there that time in my version you went up to go to the bathroom yeah you were doing was
- 29:00
going to take a piss yes dude came up to me after after my ass came up to you after me and
- 29:07
him got into our little rift right they pulled me in the room he then goes up to joe and says yo can i
- 29:13
talk to you outside joe says no no you can't talk to me outside
- 29:20
not knowing what the [ __ ] are you doing you're the [ __ ] my man is piping your girl guess what i don't speak to my man
- 29:25
about the girls he pipe i don't even really talk to this [ __ ] outside of strip club night what you want me to say not and if you
- 29:32
touch me again i'm gonna do something to you and it's not for him
- 29:37
it's not for my man why i'm here to look at ass so you understand that point of view the
- 29:44
dude's point of view no i don't mind too god damn it i don't understand his stance all right
- 29:50
i totally disagree with his stance so back to this you disagree with me you you disagree with the amigos no i
- 29:56
don't kick him no i don't disagree if justin laboy stepped out of pocket and said some [ __ ] he wasn't supposed to say you would
- 30:02
did some [ __ ] he wasn't supposed to do or try to ridicule these [ __ ] in a time of breakup he deserved merry christmas
- 30:10
[Laughter]
- 30:19
i didn't see the i don't follow justin
- 30:28
exactly now if you just beat him up because your girl came on the show talking about [ __ ] she used to [ __ ] or whatever the case may be
- 30:34
and you approach him with that no handle that with your chick what if what if what if he did handle
- 30:39
that with his chick and i want to kick your ass too just because i'm still tight again if these [ __ ] did not dis justin
- 30:46
la boy did not disrespect these dudes you tight on your own hey you ever been in love before yes
- 30:54
okay the real love too yeah yeah the real yeah the one where you looking yourself in the mirror like what the [ __ ] are you doing
- 30:59
that one okay brian mcknight sitting in the dark by yourself
- 31:06
some of our women audience while we're on the topic want to know if you're if you have a significant
- 31:12
other one and two if you do can she fight yes i've seen that been a question no they really want to
- 31:18
know they asked me that and i'm like yo i know if his girl can fight
- 31:23
i can't speak to that maybe you can't i don't know you don't have to answer that question that's i mean this is from the people
- 31:30
they wanted
- 31:35
i'm supposed to answer if my girl can fight well really what they want to know are you
- 31:41
faithful and cancer now i won't tell them i don't i don't
- 31:47
even know i don't know i don't even know yeah i don't know if any of my friends are faithful i don't know if they're good men i don't
- 31:53
know any of those things just christ no because people be thinking because you see me with somebody that i know
- 31:59
about them i can't vouch for like these dudes i don't know what y'all do fifth's all
- 32:05
around me everyone pleading the fifth today i like it vice versa with that too joe what you
- 32:13
know as your friend we catch a lot of hell for [ __ ] you do that's a big fact and it's like oh you're always trying to tell me that's
- 32:18
what that's what was the good topic that i don't know if i should save that away y'all trying to tell me i changed with money
- 32:25
yeah earlier yeah we said that you absolutely changed that's where we're going right now yeah you have
- 32:31
admitted just right with money when let's let's go into that a difference
- 32:36
oh man yeah let's see yeah yeah we can save that yeah back on that
- 32:58
that's awesome i mean you wouldn't release that video yeah verbage is gonna look bad when that that that uh elevator footage makes its
- 33:04
rounds when a real one a noted real one did some straight gave them some accuracy
- 33:10
quarry yeah you don't get points that gets in the act right they not
- 33:16
gonna get on public tv and say yeah i got straightened out yeah but wait a minute but even with what
- 33:21
cory is saying what i like about the amigos is they'll scrap
- 33:27
you gotta respect that you'll scrap thank god they spared me
- 33:32
thank god joe was speared the fisticuffs mary mary fist muscles yo i just says because
- 33:39
they got up ready they're ready to take them cufflinks so it wasn't certain it was the versace blouses they because of that they let
- 33:46
you slide they ain't gonna i got it i thank god about the some of the passes i've got thank you quavious
- 33:51
and take off that was my guys though i like that
- 33:58
it was like ass that day that they spared me i had an award show my little white shirt on you kidding me with our
- 34:04
200 security there yeah the [ __ ] we was going to do i could have took him i could i could have took ourselves
- 34:10
remember that was the first time a lot of people saw it wasn't going to help me wasn't going to help me i didn't
- 34:15
see me getting pummeled no they got you thank god i've been pummeled before though but now the [ __ ] with some star belts on
- 34:22
if you get no [ __ ] [ __ ] ready to tighten you right all the time
- 34:28
now there's another one that popped though that was the straightness look at that aggressive with it too that was the straightening yeah yeah you was gonna
- 34:35
get right straightened out they spared me thank the lord what else what else is happening that that needs
- 34:40
our opinion nothing really needs our opinion no not this don't take don't take me to this yeah
- 34:46
here uh deshawn watson i want to get to it look it looked bad i don't know it looked bad i don't see
- 34:53
what looks bad this it's that doesn't look like when it was like two i thought all right that's
- 34:59
just i don't care if it wasn't someone [ __ ]
- 35:04
desean watson has been touted for how pristine his image was how good he was etcetera
- 35:10
etcetera the second he's demanding a [ __ ] trade still next 19 still [ __ ] still still a
- 35:17
[ __ ] that's all i take it's gonna be 29 in a minute oh yeah yo the one girl the the the report that
- 35:24
i saw the girl said basically this guy right hey and that's what's funny he's going
- 35:30
to disrupt the pod then go build a house and not have nothing to do with the pod and i got to sit here and deal with
- 35:35
somebody's opinions no i'm giving let me speak get the [ __ ] off if he did something
- 35:41
inappropriate right that is proven he needs to be punished for it of course right what i saw was a whole bunch of
- 35:48
innuendo like the one girl says yo she was giving him a massage right he got erect
- 35:54
and started pumping in the air yeah you you can't do that you get a charge for that yes yeah
- 36:01
yeah no you don't yes you do you can't even hold the air you are a monster
- 36:10
you already need
- 36:25
drawers on and some sweats you cannot arrest joe now with that said it if i get just if
- 36:32
i'm sitting here we pardon i just sit up and start gyrating my in the air with no music playing on
- 36:43
in this in this report he was pumping the air and busted for that alone i didn't know what's that
- 36:50
okay what's that doing he just busted off
- 36:55
there you go i'm sorry i'm not right joe's been to a massage park i want sponsors and ads
- 37:04
at some point you have to play the advertising game
- 37:10
these takes are not getting in there there's a war shows coming this [ __ ] we
- 37:17
need hit on baby now oh my god you're doing too much [ __ ] pardon novices you can't come away and
- 37:25
just beat what happened when you bring up someone here brother be honest about your opinion damn this [ __ ] said yo
- 37:30
the pie is going to go on he's going to be off building the house
- 37:36
yo all right you've been to a massage parlor i have ice have you yes i have parks have your
- 37:43
horse say vaughn have you and i and updated masseuse
- 38:12
yeah i know that they didn't uh encounter a bunch of creepy activity all the [ __ ] time i'm sure now if i'm siding with parks
- 38:20
which on half of this i am i know women that have gone to massage parlors and
- 38:26
been sexually abused and assaulted and they live with that i'm sure that's
- 38:32
a regular thing i'm sure now i'm sure that [ __ ] comes up a lot so when the desean watson stuff
- 38:37
comes up granted no one is saying that those things happened where you forced
- 38:43
yourself on someone right i don't have there has been a couple accusations that he tried to force them to
- 38:48
uh perform oral sex or whatever okay first enforce them association push
- 38:55
their head down some [ __ ] like that i guess yeah allegedly i don't you know this is all i'm just
- 39:00
yeah i get it after 90 minutes watson asked to extend his session for another
- 39:05
please speak into the microphone she continued to work only his quads and her thoughts oh this
- 39:10
is what i read now this is the young lady let me let me brief the audience this is a young lady that is right
- 39:16
hold up hold up hold up oh you can't we're blocking all of you i'm out here that's [ __ ] crazy ish let me talk for
- 39:23
a minute let me talk a minute the young lady that's given this that's giving this testimony
- 39:28
on sports illustrated is not a part of the lawsuit
- 39:34
she is not suing as of today and sports illustrated has gone out of
- 39:40
their way an attempt to corroborate vet her story
- 39:45
and validify it they even document such as they go on
- 39:52
quick question she says hold on how did they find her if she's not a part of the lawsuit like did she reach out to them or like
- 40:00
how does according to what's illustrated they've been in touch with her before any of this deshaun watson stuff even broke
- 40:06
for whatever the reason be well she said i think she said that she uh is a massage therapist for pro athletes kinda as a career
- 40:13
i guess her [ __ ] okay she is a massage therapist she has her own uh she has she runs her
- 40:19
own business has her own massage uh parlor in houston the name of that parlor and her name
- 40:26
have been withheld for anonymity purposes of course she goes on to say that
- 40:31
she has a contract with a third-party masseuse that the masseuse will send people over
- 40:37
to her she does the massage they take the cut blah blah blah you've seen this movie before
- 40:42
uh she said it's it's typical that she finds out who these people are 15 minutes 15 minutes before the massage
- 40:49
that's totally normal sound about right she said deshaun watson came with rules such as he needs to be
- 40:56
brought up through her back door one and two instead of the standard sheet he preferred a towel according to her
- 41:03
and sports illustrated that's the same testimony of many of the victims is that he didn't want the sheep you
- 41:09
know the sheet that they give us he wanted a towel now as soon as i read that i imagine cause i've been there
- 41:15
a towel in there listen your dick gets hard besides that's your dick guitar you know
- 41:21
that's dead nothing there's nothing wrong with your dick getting hard there is something wrong when you invite the person to touch it
- 41:28
move it work around it speak to it that's not what you're there for i imagine that if your dick is hard and
- 41:34
you don't have to have a bath a bath sheet like if you're dealing with a towel
- 41:40
right it's not much wiggle room your dick will be exposed at some point i imagine that so this i see where this
- 41:48
could get really creepy or could get gray i told you so now he's laying on his back as is her testimony
- 41:54
at some point he removes the towel says it's itching him and he's asking her to work around
- 42:01
his penis bare this is not like anything she's used to she continues uh because who [ __ ]
- 42:08
knows when you're in that spot yeah yeah and i now you have many women that are making the claim of you get in
- 42:15
the massage parlor and start going crazy you can't go crazy in the massage party
- 42:22
it's also kind of weird that he's had like however many 19 different masseuses
- 42:27
at this point that's kind of excessive the same chicken that's kind of weird look no this same chick said that
- 42:32
he he hit her up again right and he totally forgot yeah she said that he had seen her
- 42:39
before two more times after that this had transpired with her he totally forgot yeah so they said
- 42:44
that he either gets a shitload of massages and that's his thing well that's a pretty normal thing i
- 42:50
would imagine for a pro athlete but she said that basically she had to send him a a a clip
- 42:56
of a conversation that they had to remind him that he had seen her before and then she said he just stopped
- 43:02
hitting the rope see that's weird yeah that's very weird that sounds like having [ __ ] she knows something different
- 43:07
[ __ ] [ __ ] so i'm gonna highlight somebody else yeah it's possible yeah if all of this is true
- 43:15
and at this point i'm going to assume that it is because i believe women but
- 43:21
if all of this is true my issue is not only with desean watson and his behavior but it's with all of the people that
- 43:28
were complicit in suppressing this yeah that's what i was saying because if this existed then it existed and some
- 43:33
people knew and when he's tried to buck the system we pull we unleash the fouls
- 43:38
and that's what i that's that's what i think and i have an issue that's the organization involved that's what i said that's the org to me
- 43:44
this is the organization i agree while when we love you we'll protect you we're going to protect you in a second that you want to break
- 43:51
exactly we got to remind you who that is true oh you think you can beat
- 43:56
the system let me show you something all that [ __ ] we held on you yes now we throw away which would make the organization in my mind
- 44:03
maybe not equally nasty but nasty in in their own right if not more yeah i'd say more not more
- 44:11
why should i say more same because oh go ahead good i'm sorry it's the same thing as when um you find out when they kill joe
- 44:17
paterno knowing about him exactly look or like police brutality right and so um there'll be instances
- 44:25
like it was one in bloomfield where uh these cops snatched this kid out of a car they beat him up
- 44:31
and they lied on the report saying that he tried to grab their gun that he punched one of them et cetera et cetera they had two
- 44:37
pieces of footage it was two cars right for like a year and some change the boy was about to do a seven
- 44:42
seven with a five or seven with a three like he was about to go to jail wow right a reporter snooped and snooped and
- 44:48
snoop found the original footage from one of the other car cat cams right and brought it
- 44:54
forward in my opinion what if that's the base the life for life uh episode on no the chief of police all of them need
- 45:01
to be fired i'm not caught up right all of them need to be fired in my opinion not just the cops i agree with
- 45:06
that i'm conducted the act everybody that played a role in it it went to eternal affairs twice
- 45:12
internal affairs twice they don't do [ __ ] and they they exonerated the cops
- 45:18
so when it finally hit the fan everybody involved needs to go to jail
- 45:23
while we're here let me ask you guys then i got a point on that well go ahead before i why why i say the organization you know
- 45:30
if they were doing that cover-up [ __ ] should be held responsible and probably even worse
- 45:36
than him because you might not get to 19 people if they step in
- 45:41
as soon as they find out fair that's my point like sure i still
- 45:51
they conduct an investigation rather than this is our star we're going to hide this you could you just protected 18 other
- 45:57
people right or however many other people instead you hide it you allow him to keep doing it yeah
- 46:03
that's where that's that's a bigger problem not nastier if the people covering it up make it possible for the crime to be committed
- 46:10
so you said what is that a question no it's a statement it's it's not nastier you said it's nastier
- 46:16
the person committing the crime i think the person that's committing the crime i'm still the nastiest person in in the equation and i agree with ice
- 46:24
if the person that's covering up yeah i think there is enabling right the person to communicate they can
- 46:31
stop that yeah and then like see that the attic attic is going to addict no matter what
- 46:37
you try to do if they're not ready to submit and they haven't hit their rock bottom and attic is going to attic the end of
- 46:42
that now the person that is enabling that person
- 46:48
yeah i don't i'm not i'm not the moral police but yeah i agree with me it's just two ways of looking at it i think
- 46:55
that the you know main guy but carry on yeah um while we're here what do you stand on cuomo
- 47:00
and just real quick i have not kept up with that story what regards with you uh cuomo same thing as deshaun
- 47:07
watson oh
- 47:17
true or not he has to step down true or not he has to step down it don't even matter and that and that's that that's
- 47:23
unfortunate now again if even in desean's instance i want to be clear and saying
- 47:29
if he did violate somebody in any given time he deserves to be held accountable
- 47:35
for that of course and punished yeah right um however
- 47:41
we've seen this fold out a bunch of different times right um same thing with cuomo he was
- 47:46
the last year they were talking about running president yeah
- 47:56
right and so now all of a sudden you might have crossed the wrong [ __ ] right and now cool whatever dirt
- 48:04
if either one of these gentlemen are guilty of rusty's heathens get them off of the street and remove them from yeah from position the plenty of times
- 48:12
i've gone in the masseuse parlor horny you can't just gyrate your hips in the air and jerk your dick and come on
- 48:18
your stomach and expect the person to work on you i'm sorry you're a weirdo yeah you are awesome i'm not disagreeing with you
- 48:23
because they have places where you were going that's cool
- 48:28
that's the nutty part this is the nutsy part you could just literally go higher a masseuse that
- 48:36
gets mixed with that easy to find with that bag yeah yeah you can just ask bad monkeys
- 48:46
you're going to somebody's you can find a [ __ ] that will
- 48:51
come massage every part of you that's what that's what shorty is saying in this interview she's like hey
- 48:56
i'm damaged doing this job for the rest of life now like mentally yeah yeah i've never been
- 49:04
in that spot and reading it as a man i'm like he didn't he didn't rape you didn't do now what spot you've never been in and then she goes on to say
- 49:11
i've never been in a situation where dude just threw his towel tobe invited me to his dick i'm
- 49:18
professional i do athletes i've been here and i've never gone through this before some of the women that i know that have been sexually abused in that same
- 49:25
situation their experience going to a spa now for the rest of life is different
- 49:30
i can imagine yeah it ain't as simple as hey we're on vacation it's three o'clock good enough nah
- 49:38
let me dig into this who is it who's there i'm fighting cases it gets nuts it gets nuts um
- 49:46
yeah man yeah man yeah it's not he had pre-cum on his stomach
- 49:52
yeah yeah yeah you can't do that you can't do that and listen i'm the pre-cum king
- 49:57
you cannot do that around someone that doesn't take a break
- 50:04
we don't need to know that much what makes you i thought i'll just assume that was the king of
- 50:09
the priest oh you think i crown myself you don't think you don't think the ladies say damn this just two minutes
- 50:15
let's take a break look the ladies over there like damn this [ __ ]
- 50:24
that's that's not something
- 50:32
all right so during the commercial break somehow we got back to justin the boy
- 50:37
and sweetie and all of that stuff we do have other [ __ ] to get to off of
- 50:42
this but what were we just saying i was just saying that i still agree with him getting some act right
- 50:49
i'm with it yeah that's all i didn't know that uh he didn't know the boy was the co-host
- 50:55
yeah and they was talking saucy they can't get to homeboy oh he's good
- 51:00
too no they can't get the home all right listen let's let's move on right yeah to some other drama
- 51:08
i'll present you gentlemen with the situation you tell me how you would respond let's do it all right we are at fujiano
- 51:17
huh versus trey songz okay i can't give you too much background on fujiano
- 51:22
because i'm 40 years old but fujiano is uh rene rucci
- 51:28
renee rucci's boyfriend rene rucci is a female rapper
- 51:34
uh affiliated with qc her boyfriend's fujiano i'm not certain who he is let me just let you know
- 51:41
fujiano is assigned to gucci's uh so i see entertainment oh he's a rapper yeah he's a rapper okay
- 51:50
like the feature artist on the new uh was it 1017 records or yeah so
- 51:57
that helps me a bit because i mean i don't know much about him but he's a very well-dressed gentleman
- 52:02
i'll give you a little bit more about him just so you know the type of person he is give it to me uh fujiano got arrested for
- 52:10
i forget what to try i think was a shootout or something he was involved in i could be wrong on that part but as
- 52:16
soon as he made bond he burnt the ankle bracelet off
- 52:22
this is all true went on the run and continued flicking it up for the
- 52:27
ground the entire time so just a little background on the type of person a [ __ ] that don't give a [ __ ]
- 52:34
okay well ice just answered so many questions for me because i remember seeing him because i like how
- 52:41
he dresses well-dressed guy then he went away to jail and i wasn't certain why he went
- 52:46
away to jail but okay good to know now and now
- 52:51
trey songz has insta-snapped a picture of his girlfriend no words i didn't see a
- 52:58
caption of his own girlfriend fuji's girlfriend fujiano's girlfriend
- 53:04
he didn't put any um caption he just put a beautiful picture of her she's a beautiful woman
- 53:10
she is a beautiful woman uh and that caused fujiano to threaten trey
- 53:15
songz from the jail phone yeah and say yo when i see you what's up i'm beating your ass i'm [ __ ] you up
- 53:22
i'm [ __ ] your security up from the jail phone from the jail phone a little bit more info
- 53:30
that's what he said yep trade songs then replied with ha imagine like you would if you're a
- 53:35
man imagine that picture that dude's just funny yeah get out your feelings ain't no money in there all the things that the trade song
- 53:42
would say so here i am to ask you gentlemen i'll start with parks
- 53:47
true somebody put your fiance in their insta story no caption she's just a beautiful woman
- 53:54
she is they admire they they admire her and adore that and recognize that as well your response to that is what someone i
- 54:02
don't know an artist yeah that you do not know that has never met you or your fiance
- 54:07
uh hmm i'm not sure how it act honestly i'm not
- 54:13
sure i'll talk to you here oh wait you're not done give it to me i would probably uh say say hello in the dm
- 54:21
in some type of way what's up you would say hi to the guy i would say
- 54:29
yeah i love this what's up just letting you know i'm around yeah i'm around right right what's going on to the guy
- 54:36
from jail
- 54:43
[Music] that's my girl she's fine thank you i
- 54:48
appreciate you like her too all right i see where you're going with that all right ish
- 54:54
i'm not saying the thing he put a picture up of my girl that my girl probably
- 54:59
posted on a social media platform herself i'm i'm within that he didn't he didn't
- 55:06
he don't have my girl in his house on his couch today exactly and again back to our
- 55:12
original point what if your girl likes him if she went on that couch she went on there on her own accord
- 55:17
and my beef is with her and not with him exactly yeah right no if she likes you my beef is with you too
- 55:24
i don't have a beef with you if she's still my girl you call your girl when the jail call and she got his music playing
- 55:37
it's a different situation from if someone finds rem who has a pretty uh discreet uh
- 55:43
public profile that's different from someone who has a massive instagram following
- 55:48
in that situation you kind of got to just you got to know it come with it posts the pictures of yourself correct
- 55:54
right she's in the entertainment industry correct in some form or fashion yeah
- 56:00
that's going to happen it's gonna turn right you can't fight every dude to think you're girl
- 56:05
yeah that's what that's my thing that's my own now again girl is fine she's fine she's pretty girl so again you have he
- 56:10
just posted her you got to be a little bit yeah but security
- 56:24
if you know she's my girl and you put her in your insta story you low-key being disrespectful all
- 56:29
right high key and i'm locked up no it's high key it's high kicking drake's girl thought that drake would never be as big as trey
- 56:35
songz boy was she wrong look i'm just saying what he's saying we
- 56:41
know because you got to be in the top one percent to come come off the fight on that end hey
- 56:48
you were wrong i'm bigger than him yeah ah oh everybody don't get that off nah
- 56:55
that's true but again when dre songs like tahiri that was the end of he was dead [ __ ]
- 57:03
[Laughter] but you're asking me something that you
- 57:08
was doing no i'm asking what was the i'm asking you why you asking me something you were there for the listeners don't know the listeners
- 57:14
do know the first day of memory
- 57:19
i forgot that was the end no what happened okay he lives up to his title
- 57:26
[Music] trey rob i don't know what you're all laughing about
- 57:32
what are you doing asking you did he steal your girl i've been in bounce with men where i lost about
- 57:38
so that do you think you haven't man
- 57:45
nobody ever
- 58:05
no that's not true moving right i mean you've been blessed you've been
- 58:11
blessed but even in that situation that we were making jokes about it but when
- 58:16
trey put the picture up i knew that i was with somebody that wanted to [ __ ] that [ __ ]
- 58:29
what did i say just let you know i'm around that wasn't no no you're wrong you did you're wrong that wasn't for him
- 58:37
that wasn't for her that was for a different girl uh there
- 58:42
was a different girl he said something and i said i'm around you're right that was a different girl i remember you're right
- 58:48
yeah it was now and i'll just be shooting at all your [ __ ]
- 58:55
cause you're just goldblum hey joe gotta see trey man oh no no i know
- 59:02
what are no i don't we just had a whole talk oh now look y'all on the other side of
- 59:07
it now i got it say that if a guy comes in multiple
- 59:14
girls of yours then there's then what no they just have multiple the same things
- 59:20
that's not weird it's weird my type is his type yeah what is one that's weird i i don't see that as well trace type is
- 59:26
your title i know some of the men who have the same type that i uh that i had true and you run
- 59:31
into each other okay and you celebrate and you know you run into each other you know the celebrities that's into the girls that
- 59:37
you into you know finding some [ __ ] that like a girl that maybe you are public with or something like that
- 59:43
that there's no such thing as what you're saying okay damn that's no there's not maybe for you that's a luxury
- 59:48
but when you're famous what did you say i said if he finds some girl that maybe you're not putting on front street and it's going to that too he puts all
- 59:56
his girls on frustration that's not true stop that stop that now let's let's have an intelligent conversation that's not what you do
- 1:00:02
let's talk about this okay hear that you know that i have dealt with women
- 1:00:07
that have not been on front street publicly when you're seen with that person
- 1:00:13
out and you're a famous figure you are going through the same exact thing that you go through on social
- 1:00:19
media with the famous people yeah i mean i went through this same thing with the dope boys on the block
- 1:00:26
with you don't have to necessarily put them on front street if somebody finds out that and i have women now that haven't been
- 1:00:32
on front street not many people know our affiliation but a few people do
- 1:00:37
from however they saw me at catch steak whatever it is and now they follow that woman
- 1:00:44
dm that woman find that woman go out of their way to find that woman i don't have to tell this to you rappers have found your girl and your girl's not
- 1:00:51
on front street that's true so then why do you have this position that that's what i'm confused people will find your girl yeah no that's true
- 1:00:57
they will period one person right you've had fine women [ __ ] have come and found them
- 1:01:04
listen joe my point joe is if someone is targeting multiple of your women and
- 1:01:09
then they find the girls that are not on front street then it feels a little weird to me and what i'm telling you is
- 1:01:16
that in the event that you weren't in this beautiful blissful engagement and you went on a run where you bumped
- 1:01:23
into ten rims physically not of course who she is for sure somebody that also likes that style
- 1:01:31
woman you're gonna bump into them on you on your journey that's all i'm saying
- 1:01:36
especially if you're understanding listen yes hey listen this is gonna sound bad in my humble opinion
- 1:01:43
i think that i have had the pleasure of being intimate with some really attractive women
- 1:01:48
why does that sound bad because that's true yeah i believe that to be true public
- 1:01:54
knowledge when i bump into other men who want to consistently sleep with the women that i
- 1:02:01
sleep with yes i think it's weird when i get into me but when i get out of me
- 1:02:07
they're fine the women are fine you should want to [ __ ] them
- 1:02:12
you shouldn't have all the respect for me to say oh that's joe's piece that's joel's work joe been
- 1:02:19
there i'm not i don't i don't think that much have meant to think that that's how they're moving out here
- 1:02:25
i have friends that i think have been some of my some of my work i have family members that have
- 1:02:31
beat some of my work behind my back you might have been there for that too you [ __ ]
- 1:02:38
i didn't pop [ __ ] michael played you michael ball boy [ __ ]
- 1:02:44
[ __ ] boy i mean
- 1:02:50
never told me neither we're just still cool oh man that's the worst it's the game and i think that's the
- 1:02:57
part of the game that trey songz plays it's the game for me again so your girl is fine i miss the studio girl i
- 1:03:02
appreciate your girl what you want to do and i'm respecting that game if she comes to [ __ ] me that wasn't your girl and you better not say nothing
- 1:03:08
to me about it that's true that's his position i get that but at the same time i understand dude's
- 1:03:14
position like yo all right i'm willing to take it like he might be worried about jail
- 1:03:20
obviously he don't give a [ __ ] about that if he's in jail on the jail phone making threats yeah like you're not even telling me on
- 1:03:27
the phone right now like
- 1:03:39
uh prayers for trade prayers for all parties involved that's why i don't [ __ ] [ __ ] girls no
- 1:03:44
more you never know what [ __ ] willing to take it over there [ __ ] nobody's girl that's
- 1:03:50
really real hopefully the three of you have stopped that too man i'm not [ __ ] anybody i'm chilling you
- 1:03:56
stop that good man thank god you used to live reckless too both of
- 1:04:01
y'all actually oh well all right so what's the next time [ __ ] think of them kim or man
- 1:04:08
uh what is the next topic uh lil nas x nike devil worshiper air maxes little nasa x
- 1:04:16
secured a deal with a third-party company to do the devil nike air maxes
- 1:04:21
started gaining some traction and momentum uh nike put out a press release to say they have nothing to do with that
- 1:04:28
uh and if that wasn't enough they then move forward with legal action to sue send a cease and desist
- 1:04:35
we did not authorize the rights to license this sneaker to you or for you to do
- 1:04:40
anything of the sort you have to stop the in between part is that uh everyone lashed out never buying nikes
- 1:04:46
again which prompted nike to yeah squash it made them smack
- 1:04:52
now the other part which is funny to me is this same company released the holy water a jesus shoe
- 1:04:58
where instead of blood it was holy water under the radar no problems and that's what a lot of people
- 1:05:04
are pointing out who doesn't like jesus i get it but a lot of people are pointing that out where okay you allow this well and now you you
- 1:05:12
have a problem with that the seaside dock that i watched on netflix uh learned me to the fact that the same
- 1:05:19
corporations that are defending the shark extinction and the killing of sharks are the same companies that are
- 1:05:25
profiting on the killing of sharks when i watched the eye glass whatever
- 1:05:31
that was whoever that was andrew teaches you something whatever the name of that [ __ ] was they taught me that in an
- 1:05:36
eyeglass business uh the same companies that sell the glasses are the same companies
- 1:05:41
that sell the contact lenses they own them they make them they're going to profit on both sides who cares
- 1:05:48
which way you want to go so that's why that's not so shocking to me what you're saying so they're cool they're gonna make their
- 1:05:53
money regardless i think little nasa is a master troll and absolutely it's working again i still hate the trolls no
- 1:06:00
this is the truth this is this is real life this is this ain't true i hate the word troll because a lot of people misuse it all
- 1:06:06
right let me how can it be trolling if it's trolling then i'm not to believe his tweet the
- 1:06:13
following day that said yo man this backlash is really affecting how i feel
- 1:06:18
uh nah but it's having a heavy effect on my anxiety please stream my record
- 1:06:24
because of course that's what i want you to do but the backlash is bothering me he also tweeted we don't know if that's absolutely not either right he also
- 1:06:30
tweeted i had nine months to plan this roll out you're not going to win bro
- 1:06:35
both can be true to me okay you're not exactly let's just you can have nine months to plan your rollout and be affected as an
- 1:06:43
artist by the backlash of your role you didn't expect the background that's going to be true a lot of times the trolls don't expect the backlash
- 1:06:49
trolling don't tell me that you're not affected in how you feel and if you are that defeats the purpose of the
- 1:06:55
troll when takashi trolls the deaths of many rappers that we love
- 1:07:01
i think that stems from a very real place i think he feels something in his heart which is why he's
- 1:07:08
doing it i don't think he's just doing it to get a reaction no you feel something that's why you're doing it enough of this passive aggression
- 1:07:14
passive aggressive everywhere [ __ ] are feeling you don't think takashi
- 1:07:20
six nine feels anything about about what about what he's trolling on no come on really passed away he
- 1:07:26
wouldn't feel no type of way or he couldn't feel no type of way excuse me if if if he's trolling somebody
- 1:07:31
a rapper can you speak into the microphone please seriously if he's trolling a rapper that he wishes
- 1:07:37
dead right he's the only rappers that are dead as well but i'm just saying if if somebody
- 1:07:42
really died does he have people have an instance where he could
- 1:07:49
feel bad about it like once like once [ __ ] hits the fan
- 1:07:54
like you could wish something right but once it really hits the fan i think that's akash constantly mentions mentions pop smoke
- 1:08:02
and king bond may they both rest in peace it mentions both of their names because secretly
- 1:08:07
he feels away about how loved they are from the people he feels the way that these are two
- 1:08:13
people that allegedly really live their racks i agree with that 100
- 1:08:18
two people that went out the way that they rapped right and he is but they both are
- 1:08:23
beloved i think there is a hatred that exists in him for that not personally toward
- 1:08:29
those people okay i thought you meant he is not uh yeah he is not loved he don't live those raps but he
- 1:08:36
sees how adored those people are so when he says [ __ ] king vaughn [ __ ] pop smoke or when he trolls the
- 1:08:43
death of those two rappers he says a lot like that he says 100 says he says a lot like rest in piss
- 1:08:49
king like he's he's done that you know nipsey passed he went out to class he's he's doing
- 1:08:55
he went outside he went out to uh to o block class he has a security team take him
- 1:09:01
there they stage a shoot where he runs in shoots and gets back in the car now some kids will say that's trolling
- 1:09:09
joe doesn't say that that is coming from a real place you are acting
- 1:09:14
out let's start calling things what they are you're acting out and you're looking for attention based
- 1:09:20
on something that exists inside of you okay so what is trolling then let me ask you that trolling is when you have no emotional investment
- 1:09:26
in either which way of the matter you're saying something just just solely to incite reaction you're
- 1:09:32
not married to whatever the reaction that comes i don't you don't care you're saying something that you don't even care about just to get people riled
- 1:09:39
up that's what i understood trolling to be well this is a troll i've been called a troll and i disagree with that that's why ice has been called
- 1:09:46
control based on my exact definition though about a bunch of [ __ ] that in real life he could care less about
- 1:09:51
mm-hmm okay i think that's one that's my definition that's one specific kind of trolling
- 1:09:57
right right yeah that's what then what's the other one because let's try it here actually feeling something or calling
- 1:10:02
trolling this passive aggressiveness little nausea did all this [ __ ] knowing that it was going to us
- 1:10:10
trolling is defined as creating discord on the internet by starting quarrels or upsetting people by posting inflammatory
- 1:10:16
inflammatory or off-topic messages in an online community basically a social media troll
- 1:10:21
is someone who purposely says something controversial in order to get a rise out of other users by that definition six nine is a
- 1:10:28
troll
- 1:10:38
90 of you [ __ ] are not that savvy that you're using the internet
- 1:10:43
and just bouncing around on different ideas void of emotion on everything that's happening no
- 1:10:48
you're not y'all are feeling things based off your internet consumption you are being conditioned and programmed
- 1:10:55
and the things that you're reading the people you interact with your likes and dislikes it's all being documented it's a big
- 1:11:02
business here and you [ __ ] are [ __ ] idiots to continue to jump up and say when you type something
- 1:11:08
it's trolling trolling for you not for the internet okay are you using the
- 1:11:14
internet or is the internet using you which side of the fence do you stand like that no takashi is not
- 1:11:19
trolling i'm one of the people that believe his baby moms when she start talking about who he is inside
- 1:11:26
yo dude just wants to be loved dude just wants attention and the second
- 1:11:32
you don't give him these things that he never received in life or in his household on his upbringing he
- 1:11:38
acts out and we just fall right for it if you leave him alone he will go away oh yeah
- 1:11:43
that's what she is that's what she says that's what she says i think most trolls are that's most true
- 1:11:48
that that that scarred internally but know that in the end that adds to trolling they do it purposely to get a reaction
- 1:11:56
you just said if you don't respond he's going to go away right they're doing what if i give you the
- 1:12:01
reaction ish you're trolling i give you the reaction my reaction causes emotions in you
- 1:12:08
is it still trolling some level he's trolling got it still say it's trolling okay that's just about that's where
- 1:12:15
the difference is i think all these [ __ ] are soft all these [ __ ] were just trolling [ __ ] that don't know how to deal with your
- 1:12:20
emotions don't know how to communicate don't know how to talk you're comfortable with your abandonment issues
- 1:12:25
you're comfortable with your one parent household you've never seen love never seen marriage never seen all this [ __ ]
- 1:12:30
you just on the internet divulging [ __ ] just running around with your very limited information based
- 1:12:35
refusing to educate yourself refusing to be well versed i'm not just going to call it trolling you [ __ ] are sick
- 1:12:41
do you think you [ __ ] is [ __ ] sickos out here and if you have emotions about some [ __ ] you see on the internet
- 1:12:46
then you need to do real life things to deal with them not just they say i caused the reaction out of
- 1:12:52
you okay true but what you're doing with the reaction in you what you doing with those things so do
- 1:12:57
you think that little nausea is savvy or a troll i think that little nausea is both savvy
- 1:13:04
and a troll i think that takashi is both savvy and a troll okay i almost think you
- 1:13:09
can't but for me without the other for me you got to be able to be compartmentalized if takashi or lil
- 1:13:15
nad's ex said something about something that they didn't care about something that their business didn't waver one way or the other in
- 1:13:23
something that didn't affect them at all their family at all and they just said some [ __ ] and left the phone i do that sometimes
- 1:13:29
i'll say some [ __ ] that i don't care about at all and just leave the phone you [ __ ] argue about it it's not affecting me one way or the other
- 1:13:34
cool if i'm bothered if i'm affected it's not trolling
- 1:13:41
it's an exchange now it's transactional we are trading something for something
- 1:13:48
but i think and that something weighs in well tell me what they get some level of satisfaction that you
- 1:13:55
created this response yep like same thing with cancer culture
- 1:14:00
wait wait wait tell me something i don't want to stay on this either but i agree with ish i agree the trolls get something you
- 1:14:07
created this from nothing and i'm saying the
- 1:14:12
feeling that pre-exists that the feeling that you have that you have
- 1:14:17
to have to want to do to want to do that yeah it stems from a real place it's not just you woke up one
- 1:14:24
day and decided to drop this bomb on the world and well i'll be honest with you i've trolled i have trolled in the past
- 1:14:31
you said you don't like premiere beats that's not a troll no that's his opinion right that's not it see that's where i get pissed off at because
- 1:14:37
an unpopular opinion is not trolling just because i disagree with the masses i'm my own person i don't have to
- 1:14:44
like premiere beats today that's my thing i can change what i like and don't like i don't want to
- 1:14:50
like say no you don't have to like them but i don't see stuff like that i look at us trolling
- 1:14:55
because you don't believe it's possible for somebody to not like no because i think his beats are just giving just using this as an
- 1:15:00
example i think that his beats are not all similar right i think they go all over the place
- 1:15:06
right he could have a beat that sounds one way can have a total beat that sounds a totally different way for you to say i don't like premiere
- 1:15:12
beats i said i like majority of play memories does premiere have a sound a signature sound yes or no
- 1:15:17
of course he does yeah but again he's like that sound okay i can say i don't like
- 1:15:23
the premiere sound meaning i don't like majority of premiere's beats yes he can go i'm gonna like it if premiere slap [ __ ]
- 1:15:30
out and that's not a knock it's i don't like it i feel you i feel today no i agree
- 1:15:36
with that this [ __ ] i've liked i don't like the 90s that i don't like today i don't care for a lot of people 250 year olds tell me about premiere
- 1:15:43
beats and trolling yeah your [ __ ] is 50.
- 1:15:49
all right let's let's be clear got it 30 yeah got it got it got it uh low noise action uh so the lawsuit is
- 1:15:55
happening i'm assuming that these sneakers won't be resold i mean re-upped on this [ __ ] they're gonna be the extra reasons
- 1:16:02
the values of the value and they only did 666 pairs yeah uh yeah they just sold out miley
- 1:16:09
cyrus oh shut up shut up check her out shut up anybody that ever tells me that shut up what unless yeah oh yeah yeah we know we
- 1:16:16
know unless you work in the wherever you know the truth don't tell me that they only made such things that's a marketing that's a
- 1:16:22
marketing of course we know that yeah limited edition means it creates demands
- 1:16:28
yeah but now i want you to know here now but i watched that that ideology go from street wear to high-end
- 1:16:35
wear to now luxury vehicles cars everything yeah
- 1:16:40
on the way here we just talking about the the maybach truck albums the maybach truck limited edition vinyls
- 1:16:46
and and that's some of that because vinyl is expensive
- 1:16:52
to make anything that's rare probably only pressed up a certain amount of those different there the maybach truck though i'm gonna come
- 1:16:58
back to that they are running around saying that it's only this many available for
- 1:17:04
the year so they have a they're raising the sticker price upwards of eighty thousand
- 1:17:09
dollars the base fee is 160 grand this truck is being sold for 260 280 240 and up
- 1:17:18
so now we're dealing with that even in vehicles so i have to have a problem with this
- 1:17:23
fake hey we only made this amount such a shut up
- 1:17:28
go make more no no more as you see the demand is up you see
- 1:17:34
we want it go make more no no but for the party all right but that it but that no
- 1:17:39
ain't gonna make it now be 10x the value not for
- 1:17:49
but that person that wants to say i got one birdman used to do it dog that's been
- 1:17:55
that way yo it's only three bugattis yeah yeah i got some more of it right here would
- 1:18:00
spend 50 grand over ticket price to be the first [ __ ] in the hood with a sl how much you think you're going to pay for the fake vaccination
- 1:18:06
card i don't know i got it though no penny i got it nice penny i got it
- 1:18:12
look you're going to infect the whole human nation because you got it right i'm going to be worried about the
- 1:18:17
official laminated cuomo signature facts i don't know
- 1:18:24
i don't need it so a bunch of people replied to little nonsex and was mad waka flocka was one of them joining
- 1:18:29
lucas was one of them uh and he was like yo
- 1:18:34
main thing is our kids listen to you right our kids love old town road you say that
- 1:18:40
that's not the record you're working right now but our kids love it okay to which little nazix replied yo i'm
- 1:18:45
literally talking about sipping lean and adultery and old town road if you let your kids listen to that
- 1:18:51
that's your choice as two of you guys with kids not parks you'll soon join this club
- 1:18:57
what are you all standing at i agree 100 with with what um what little nazix is saying
- 1:19:03
you have to have some you have to have some type of responsibility yeah yeah you gotta monitor like
- 1:19:08
you can't just let the internet and everything raise your kids you have to know what your kids are watching and listening to
- 1:19:14
to the best of your ability is it i think today in music old town
- 1:19:20
road is catchy no again i was about to say look everybody knows old town so let's hit him up no
- 1:19:26
no not like that no right in today's music and this is why i
- 1:19:31
really don't but not like we're talking about
- 1:19:43
music is more melodies right it's more melodic it's more trendy it's catchy right so
- 1:19:48
you can know a song and love a song and not know one lyric or not know what you're talking about
- 1:19:54
that's my point so that's why i don't really dive into you you know the smashes are our chorus
- 1:20:00
yeah yeah exactly yeah [Music]
- 1:20:12
that's what people know that's all my kids don't care about what you're saying in the verses you need to do i got the horses in my lab village i
- 1:20:20
don't know what nobody knows what he's saying who knows and again i don't know the third person pump it up that's you don't come on the club
- 1:20:26
second verse so come on no more either really yeah but don't do that there was a time when it came out i'm
- 1:20:31
just saying was it what you want punk double clip man i get it but i'm just saying now they give you
- 1:20:36
the hook and but we wouldn't tell them what's got a million songs in the history of music though or
- 1:20:43
blatantly flagrant
- 1:20:53
i just said to my mom only my mom collects the royalty uh statements and checks from this song right and she knows when the mail comes
- 1:21:00
she knows when that check comes it came the other day she sends me a picture and i say man
- 1:21:06
yeah 20 years later i still get a little bum ass piece of chump change from this
- 1:21:12
record uh it's like four thousand five thousand quarter it's not bad but check this out so that
- 1:21:18
that boils down to maybe 20 grand a year some people say that's not much when you get into the splits of the record
- 1:21:25
man what is that record doing right now like i only owned if you get maybe percentage
- 1:21:31
four percent of it was a sample it was mad producers it's only maybe this percentage that's
- 1:21:36
giving me 20 grand j quan better not never say my name i don't know what tipsy is doing today
- 1:21:43
i don't know what mims is doing today my [ __ ] is still 20 years later think about that i was 20
- 1:21:50
years old my kid would be 21 in two years a year and a half when my kid birthday a year and a half
- 1:21:57
a man's in that forget it baby and mim's got to do it that's who had a
- 1:22:03
big song out at the same time he did it or somewhere in the vicinity with those samples listen when j quan
- 1:22:10
put out tipsy the everybody at def jam was looking at me like bomb
- 1:22:16
hey where's your record hey you want me to put you in the studio with the producers of tipsy i said yeah they put
- 1:22:22
me in i ain't come out with no heat no heat well i mean tipsy was just grinding
- 1:22:27
remix hold up man say vaughn wants to get a good laugh you think that's funny that they put me
- 1:22:33
in the studio with the tipsy producers and everybody was sober
- 1:22:43
and paid their price like when it's when a producer grew catch the smash and
- 1:22:49
you want to try to catch that snap paid to 75 grand whatever it was for a dud i didn't put it out nothing
- 1:22:57
happened i wasn't jaequan i didn't have the atlanta accent it just didn't work anyway enough about me and jaquan and mims
- 1:23:06
hotel was hotel tipsy uh well cass battling so you know
- 1:23:13
hotel he'll need that that was a monster that casper was hilarious but we didn't got to talk
- 1:23:20
what else is important that we need to unpack culturally let's see let's see let's see
- 1:23:25
uh uh what is the sexiest ball man ever isn't me
- 1:23:32
prince williams is the sexiest bald man alive according to white people and the rock
- 1:23:39
is ranked like number nine on here that told mike tyson and jason that told
- 1:23:44
me the fact that white people think jason stadium is sexy as funny to me but white people sexy is different from
- 1:23:50
black people sexy jason statum come on man jason statham the third sexiest bald man
- 1:23:58
in the world no with the rock number nine who's sexy to you wait pooh there's a little list all
- 1:24:04

- 1:24:25
uh six is floyd mayweather who grows hair wears his hair i don't even understand his placement here
- 1:24:31
john travolta who i've never even seen even though he was bald he got plugs he's got bad plugs remember
- 1:24:37
he's now o.j he's now he's pissed he's got to go i'm sexier than him uh bruce willis bald he's our icon he
- 1:24:44
should be there the rocket number nine vin diesel number ten i've been in tyrese's yard with vin
- 1:24:49

- 1:24:57
that's mr worldwide let me tell you let me tell you who joe let me tell you
- 1:25:03
joe's sexier then jason statham pitbull
- 1:25:08
john travolta all of them are way richer than me i'm not texting anybody
- 1:25:14
on this list that's what it comes down to because that's what it comes down to
- 1:25:19
excuse me excuse me wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait excuse me yeah what did you say that's what comes
- 1:25:42
it's not if you all say so the list says so like it's right there
- 1:25:48
the rock has more money than jason statham or i mean michael jordan
- 1:25:55
jordan has more money than mike tyson this entire list has more money than me i reckon
- 1:26:01
i recant any argument that i had to make uh here we go peloton
- 1:26:07
and versus unveil a partnership peloton all right let's just let's just
- 1:26:13
read this this is coming from variety of course i love variety there's no question that the versus musical battles
- 1:26:19
shut up here we go peloton versus announced today is an equally savvy matchup one that
- 1:26:26
sees the versus battles and uh powering users of peloton's popular fitness regimen
- 1:26:32
according to the announcement the partnership is like nothing that peloton has ever done before of course
- 1:26:38
y'all always need to see hip-hop work first before you indulge uh and will come to life during
- 1:26:44
peloton's motivational classes taught by its best-in-class instructors available via the peloton bike
- 1:26:51
tread or app which offers a 30 day free trial to new members
- 1:26:56
timberland says i don't care what he says swiss beats agrees i knew that who cares
- 1:27:04
head of music gwen bethel concurs some g probably said the same [ __ ] as them i don't need to read it i don't need to
- 1:27:10
read any of this now with that said how do you gentlemen feel about versus branching out and this is what i
- 1:27:16
mean before you speak versus had to deal with apple correct
- 1:27:23
that deal concluded and seemingly a day or two after they announced their triller deal
- 1:27:31
not even a month after that deal we have a peloton announcement
- 1:27:36
we've already seen a versus nfl announcement we are seeing verses
- 1:27:42
branch out in many different arenas many different areas and they've sold it
- 1:27:52
if i remember correctly yes they've sold to church and then they went on the border so they
- 1:27:57
so they are participating in their asset they've sold it and they're branching out business-wise and putting it
- 1:28:03
everywhere they could put it i think it's really good business that's why i think it's really good business
- 1:28:09
what's the dislike here super dope yeah valentine's big business
- 1:28:14
i don't want to come off as the hater you're right no i hate all right get the hate off don't hate what hate at
- 1:28:20
home okay no no no no no no if i wanted to hate my [ __ ] i just don't get it maybe it's not for me to get what what
- 1:28:26
is fat [ __ ] you ain't got no peloton you're right okay so what is versus peloton like they're going to put
- 1:28:32
the versus matches i'm reading here it says brandy versus monica run with rebecca kennedy on 329 or 7pm there you
- 1:28:40
go we saw the brandy versus monaco right yeah but you ain't never run to it but you've never seen it on the peloton bike
- 1:28:46
yeah but the peloton bike has internet correct you have one right i have one yeah but
- 1:28:52
there's like an instructor class it's an instructor in front of you and they're running music and at the
- 1:28:58
same time he's gonna play the music in the background of the back i don't know structured but they're gonna play whatever they're battling with all right
- 1:29:04
congrats to them man anytime i see brothers making moves and making money i'm gonna come grasp them even though i look like they holding versus out
- 1:29:11
what are they supposed to do i just congratulated them get your money yeah but answer this question what should they do if it's
- 1:29:18
there hey it's their business they sold it and now
- 1:29:23
they're conducting business is taking it to anot another plateau a salute oh okay i'm not
- 1:29:30
hating i'm hating sounds a little happy yeah you are it says
- 1:29:36
it sounds a little listen if they were to secure if they
- 1:29:42
would if they were to secure a deal if you want to get on a united flight in
- 1:29:47
first class and on the tv along with joe i'm broke i don't do first class but go ahead though
- 1:29:53
if you continue to fill in this seat you will not be here [Laughter] now at that point if you want to leave
- 1:29:59
the money you can that will be a consciousness i like money but you will not be broke if you sit here
- 1:30:05
just a little longer listen to this if if if on the first class [ __ ] where they sell
- 1:30:11
when they start show you tv movies if versus is there that means triller or someone broke
- 1:30:19
broke it's broke broker yeah that is good and they put it there and if i'm
- 1:30:24
swiss or timbaland or triller i would want to do that and if i could do that in 10 different
- 1:30:30
places to 10x not just for me but for the company we invest in
- 1:30:35
and for all the artists that have stake in this that's true i needed a little bit more i think
- 1:30:41
they're killing this [ __ ] that's yeah that is very smart if you put it that way that was a good one well if you want to sell plain [ __ ] that
- 1:30:47
was kind of only if you want to sell like some people like ice is saying maybe you don't want to sell so you're not whoring it out
- 1:30:52
i'm keeping it let me just limit it i'm keeping it that's what joe says hey i'm not selling the podcast nowhere i'm holding this you want to license it
- 1:30:58
let's talk but i'm not selling this anywhere i'm not whoring it out i'm guarding this
- 1:31:03
they're taking this wherever makes sense for them and they're already rich they're already
- 1:31:09
rich in the process they're making their people a lot of money yeah yeah it's true there's no way for me to hate on this i
- 1:31:19
and i see the versus series pop up there and i can watch some [ __ ] while i'm on my treadmill or whatever that's that's ill you can hear premier and
- 1:31:25
rizzo beats that's all go at it i throw that whole bike i want you to do i have a relationship with dj premier
- 1:31:31
i like premiere beats he's trolling the troll the trolls i like them too brian listens to our pod
- 1:31:38
no i like andy likes ice how about saying it's cool look at that you should
- 1:31:45
i can't help it if i don't want to hear it today that's all but no if i that you like prime
- 1:31:55
next question next question okay
- 1:32:03
listen we are back from a brief commercial break and this guy
- 1:32:10
man
- 1:32:18
were you guys arguing about joe's driving ability he think he could drive no no we weren't why did jersey people get so competitive with driving because
- 1:32:24
that's what we do new yorkers can't drive you already know you all ain't your girls don't even have cars don't drive or license no why y'all
- 1:32:31
think it's a nascar race why do you think we have to speak to you about it as a train as a train user
- 1:32:37
you're a train guy right
- 1:32:42
driving a year ago that's not true two years ago years ago i don't know how long it was
- 1:32:48
no no no no i drove way more than it
- 1:32:59
upstate new york this is the problem with podcasting i grew up in upstate new york we drove a lot the problem with
- 1:33:04
podcasting is everybody is not qualified to speak on
- 1:33:09
the things that they speak on i've heard more 40 years old i'm 37 same [ __ ]
- 1:33:16
telling us about his upbringing in buffalo somewhere and we talking about driving in new york city
- 1:33:23
as an adult with a car finding parking fighting witnesses over the parking lot
- 1:33:31
not paying the toll that's the driving what are you talking about
- 1:33:37
that because you've had the luxury of i'll take the train like most new yorkers i've had a car so
- 1:33:42
they answer your questions but to answer your question that's why new jersey people feel like that because it's driver's privilege right we
- 1:33:49
don't get to train but we don't get none of that we could the path we also have [ __ ] to fill up
- 1:33:55
our gas when we pull up right in two degree weather because we got a room
- 1:34:10
right now the rest of the world is hearing us sorry sorry yeah i
- 1:34:23
get out to buy a snickers with some gas hey hey y'all get a little i'm not while
- 1:34:29
i'm here i might as well get some [ __ ] on that topic let me ask you a question cause somebody asked me and i laughed
- 1:34:35
do you tip the gas [Laughter]
- 1:34:40
do i tip them what i give them some good information that
- 1:34:46
could stick with them throughout life do you tip the great tip i know people
- 1:34:51
that now you are you know people that you won't be doing any service no i do know people that do they're out of town all right
- 1:34:56
let me shoot one back do you tip the valet guy yeah yeah you got to so what that looks like it's a foul i'm
- 1:35:02
tipping about that at the gas station let me tell you how bad i am at the gas station when i get
- 1:35:09
to the gas station i give them my card i say give it right back don't hold it just go ahead and put it
- 1:35:15
in and give it back i'm going in the store you guys just gonna hold my [ __ ] card
- 1:35:21
i've got in times where i got out that's that new york shirt i've got out and gave him the card at the pump let
- 1:35:27
him put gear all right then i'll go get back in the car and you still got to pump the gas so i do that well not that why though
- 1:35:35
no no no get out the car because i get gas in the hood i know how it goes how would it go they swipe your
- 1:35:41
information you're from earth from irvington new jersey
- 1:35:46
you are from east orange even worse yeah don't say something that's bad you're from my bad place in the world [ __ ] you know why
- 1:35:53
no i don't know
- 1:36:02
give it right back i go in the store i get my little coffee my chips and stuff
- 1:36:14
i get up to the desk i bring my little [ __ ] up the machine come up start talking to me
- 1:36:19
yo you want to thank the troops [ __ ] no i don't want to thank the troops and i want my changes
- 1:36:24
hey yo you got some money for the cancer and [ __ ] no i don't have money but none of these [ __ ] they got no joy
- 1:36:30
right there yeah
- 1:36:39
our money ain't going to the [ __ ] troops into cancer research i've been here 40 years there's no cure for cancer
- 1:36:45
but it's a vaccine for a [ __ ] cove in six months
- 1:37:04
okay as long as my card is real you don't come around me with your little scamming east orange tricks
- 1:37:11
don't come around me with just kidding [ __ ] spreading spreading covet all over the earth with
- 1:37:17
his fake cards building houses building covet houses
- 1:37:25
yeah yeah i'm cool i'm cool on him what is what is this breaking news i am
- 1:37:31
steve harvey will be hosting verses this sunday with eisley brothers and earth wind and fire i'm with that i like that i like it i
- 1:37:37
love that will laurie be there no
- 1:37:42
why do you want to be y'all on her dick i don't like her
- 1:37:57
don't put me into it i want to address your [ __ ] she's not your type well further she's a baby so i'm not
- 1:38:04
going to try to like her since when how old is she
- 1:38:10
[ __ ] you moving around first [ __ ] erickson all of a sudden it's fidgety
- 1:38:17
how old is laura harvey she's jones it is lori harvey
- 1:38:24
someone just said that still don't answer me i know hey joel 24. my type is the thick chicks in the
- 1:38:29

- 1:38:34

- 1:38:41
24. she 20 joe i'm not you got a lot of little family little
- 1:38:46

- 1:38:52
sorry i know it ruins the joke it steps on things it's not fun okay joe's not [ __ ] nothing that's 24
- 1:38:58
today okay i got to leave it i got to say okay what you're going to say
- 1:39:04
you can't say no i could show you the 25 year old that i might [ __ ] then you would understand she don't look
- 1:39:10
like lori harvey that's the difference if i found someone that was 25 that i would be interested
- 1:39:19
he's going to kill this yeah he's going to kill this this is his land right here he's going to be good here chicks in
- 1:39:25
your [ __ ] 30s that i can't mold you better get one you better get one
- 1:39:32
all right so we're here now all right we're here no no no no no no no no no no we're here now we're here now
- 1:39:38
nope it's but this is my question because you're
- 1:39:43
not even allowed to say this publicly so recant that from the record flag it edit it cancel me do what you must
- 1:39:50
we're not flagging and editing but cancel me if you must this is my question
- 1:39:55
how come women are able to say that they like a man that they are able to mold
- 1:40:01
but if a man says that then it's an issue well one i know why men can't say that
- 1:40:07
but why can women say it i don't even see women saying that no more they're saying opposite no women are saying the opposite women
- 1:40:13
are now saying we're not molding [ __ ] no more i don't know i ain't dating on potential i'm not yeah i'm not i'm not dealing
- 1:40:18
with these childish ass [ __ ] no more find you somebody who got a [ __ ] together nobody doing and i don't have to i don't have to raise you them i know
- 1:40:24
not your mother i mean they say that but then you see the [ __ ] they date well women lie women also say they're not
- 1:40:30
[ __ ] with broke [ __ ] and you know so we know [ __ ] myth
- 1:40:48
none of nor am i nor am i all the chick's mad over my valentine's
- 1:40:53
day all right all right [ __ ] that's what i'll be trying to tell chicks hey by the time dude made the decision to
- 1:41:00
like publicly show something he is committed to deading you right
- 1:41:06
he don't care if you find out he don't give a [ __ ] about your opinions on the matter your thoughts oh it was foul
- 1:41:12
shady oh i didn't know i just spoke to him no no no i don't think that's their stance
- 1:41:18
though that's our stance i think their stance is yo we're we was together seven years and you ain't never
- 1:41:23
dropping rolls on the ground for me [ __ ] you not her now go sit in a closet alone
- 1:41:41
in a week hey it didn't take long hey clearly i'm not
- 1:41:46
against dropping that for something you might need to figure out what it is about you what happened that you shouldn't get
- 1:41:52
that from me there we go that is true it's in a reflection but they don't look at that that's not that is that our
- 1:41:58
fault is that our problem
- 1:42:04
any time we say some [ __ ] we can get in trouble for them we play rory and i'm drunk
- 1:42:15
that's the thing about podcasting man some of this stuff that's why i don't like it we talk about over monopoly you can't just say right here
- 1:42:22
you know how many people listen to this [ __ ] a lot who would disagree though
- 1:42:40
here with us friday for whatever the reason be i'm gonna miss him i'm gonna miss him uh listen cte
- 1:42:46

- 1:42:57
please play the snippet and then ice can tell me what's going on the the united states of america
- 1:43:04
any street [ __ ] lost all respect for that man that [ __ ] day he lost all his street
- 1:43:11
credibility that day due to the fact that i don't give a [ __ ] when a [ __ ] lose they like man ain't no
- 1:43:18
ain't no piecing up my [ __ ] never be peace money never ever
- 1:43:24
okay uh like i said kinky b is the cte co-founder along with jeezy
- 1:43:31
okay um i don't believe it was also his old manager from like when he first started years
- 1:43:36
ago and i disagree with this statement i mean if i'm jeezy i don't really give a who
- 1:43:44
cares i'm i'm not a street [ __ ] no more i'm not that's where you [ __ ] up at once
- 1:43:50
you make that transition you're worrying about what the streets do you can't play both sides you can't have
- 1:43:56
you can't be a street [ __ ] and not be a street [ __ ] you have to pick and that's where a lot of people get themselves tied up
- 1:44:02
at worrying about the streets you are a corporate person now i'm with ice on this you are a corporate
- 1:44:08
business there's a lot of people depending on jeezy there's a lot of people that he's feeding i disagree
- 1:44:14
worrying about the streets will cause all that to fall let me hear this he doesn't have to engage in street [ __ ]
- 1:44:22
right but the moral compass that was instilled in you the values the
- 1:44:29
the principles the morals that you learned living that life they follow you throughout the course of your life
- 1:44:35
like for example if if you were raised to say snitching or ratting is whack you don't
- 1:44:42
get 20 million dollars 50 million 100 million dollars and then say nah ratting is cool
- 1:44:48
again your principles and your moral code and ethics why not why don't you i'm asking because again
- 1:44:55
to you your views can change right yeah no no you can change you can change you can change
- 1:45:05
right but your principles or your moral ethics don't change it's like you're
- 1:45:10
trying not to talk in the mic he pushed away before he said i'm not going to use the mic
- 1:45:29
you your morals or your or your principles shouldn't necessarily change yeah you talk you don't do nothing else
- 1:45:35
but talk you just talk predicated on me whoa look at that you sound great
- 1:45:41
yo your morals or your ethics or your values shouldn't necessarily change because um of a money situation like in
- 1:45:50
this instance he didn't lose money by not doing his verses
- 1:45:55
under these circles i'm talking about just this he didn't lose money by not doing his verses so again if you were i could make the
- 1:46:02
case that he did make it then i want to hear that he dropped an album that night jesus ice cold in the streets
- 1:46:10
and i'm the biggest jeezy fan on the planet you are jeezy is 100 ice cold in the
- 1:46:15
streets it musically i like that album i love that i bought that out i was actually and i'm not sure i would have known that
- 1:46:20
album dropped if not for that my point not doing so it wasn't sincere he did it for a rollout
- 1:46:26
everything's a rollout i've been saying this forever everything's a rollout well what's wrong with that nothing but if i could use a rollout
- 1:46:33
make a positive out of it i don't see why it's a saying we can't hear corey what do you what
- 1:46:38
what all right it's a rollout go he sees i'm dropping the album yeah i'm i'm saying so
- 1:46:44
him using this draw him dropping this album as a rollout we might not have known this album was coming out has he
- 1:46:50
not done his verses so yeah he could have lost money not doing these verses okay i understood that he could have that
- 1:46:56
he could have taken another route to release his album he released a bunch of other albums and nothing happened and nothing
- 1:47:03
happened nothing's been happening so what do i do i'm gonna go get the the one thing that you never thought you'd
- 1:47:10
see in this lifetime he's a troll that's not a troll there's real feeling behind it what do
- 1:47:15
you know see what you know there's real feeling behind it you said that that don't stop it from being a troll even if there is real feeling behind it
- 1:47:22
no i'm saying the feeling but prior to that would you i agree with your point i said yo he could have
- 1:47:27
rolled this album out another way but he didn't rolled out the last three albums and nothing happened all right
- 1:47:34
this is a business decision on both their parts not just jeezy be clear i'm not this is a business decision about gucci mane you talking
- 1:47:41
about a comment made by his boys that both used to rip his ex boy because that they both managed to rip
- 1:47:47
and run the streets together right so again whatever you did in the streets it's behind him cool god bless
- 1:47:54
fortunately he made it out of a situation that many don't make it out of right but again the same morals and
- 1:48:00
values that were instilled in you and embedded in you they should still be who you are all right i'm all
- 1:48:06
also say about this particular situation here something that a lot of people have been
- 1:48:11
hinting at but no one ever just came out and said we don't know for sure
- 1:48:18
that was his man's and i'm not trying to disrespect anybody we don't know that this is an artist on my label i make a
- 1:48:25
statement saying yo i got ten thousand dollars for this dude's chain and he go try to get it i didn't send
- 1:48:30
you but out of respect for you i'm not going to address that which is why jesus never said a word about this so
- 1:48:37
how do you know or not we don't know we don't know we don't know i'm not sure that jesus was ever trying to win the streets battle and
- 1:48:43
taking his verses against gucci man at all i think he was well aware that that's a battle he would
- 1:48:48
lose right the battle of the streets he's lost the streets already prior to this even if he would have won that
- 1:48:54
when bmf was out and when his classics was out cool but today
- 1:49:00
no this was a legacy battle on jeezy's behalf playing all of those commercials yeah right it's not about
- 1:49:07
who's the street is who's the toughest and for this jeezy but for his man to
- 1:49:12
say that x-men that we fell out with that matters bro it doesn't matter no no it doesn't i agree no no
- 1:49:19
that does matter but again for one street [ __ ] to another street [ __ ] to say yo you basically are are are
- 1:49:28
uh a fraud no you're just basically um sellout would you hurt yourself throwing
- 1:49:34
everything that you learned in your upbringing away for a rollout
- 1:49:40
see but that's on the surface let me let me let me let me add in i i i don't agree with the stance just
- 1:49:46
on my take on forgiveness as a whole like forgiveness is something that you do so
- 1:49:52
that you don't have to live with something it's not something you necessar that's necessarily for the other person
- 1:49:57
indeed so this gentleman kinky b kinky b's take is somebody died there's
- 1:50:03
no forgiveness well joe's take is and this is none of my business that's exactly the time
- 1:50:09
that forgiveness should occur life has been lost there might be survivors guilt like i
- 1:50:16
don't know what's going on there but joe's higher power is a forgiving
- 1:50:21
higher power and i know it takes a lot of maturity to get into that instance where an action you cause caused the life of death and
- 1:50:28
it's still time to forgive or somebody killed someone that is close to you and that you love so it's time to forgive that's a lot to ask for
- 1:50:34
somewhere right you're right that's a lot but look now granted you're more entitled to feel that way
- 1:50:40
and that's not wrong but do i do it publicly in a versus situation
- 1:50:45
i don't think this was the first time that these gentlemen have spoken to each other been around each other
- 1:50:50
i know for a they ran into each other at a restaurant prior to this and they spoke on the phone price they would have had to
- 1:50:55
you can't just publicly pop up with all this going on this was they had to talk at some point i agree
- 1:51:01
so i don't know kill jeezy for doing it i'm not going to be wrong i didn't kill him i'm just
- 1:51:06
saying my man what's his name kinky b has from from his street perspective
- 1:51:14
he he has some valid points but if i'm jeezy not and i'm not trying to [ __ ] on the
- 1:51:20
streets please i'm still you know everybody in the streets that watch this i'm not [ __ ] on y'all if
- 1:51:26
i'm jeezy do i give a [ __ ] what the streets think right now yes no no you don't no that's not true
- 1:51:47
the contradiction of i don't give a [ __ ] about the streets anymore means that why would you plan this for your rollout
- 1:51:53
what street about this his whole content and his music is street music so if he ain't gonna listen to his
- 1:51:59
current album he's not talking street [ __ ] in the album that's the point yeah i'm not that jeezy that i used to
- 1:52:04
be he could show up and play my old songs yeah i s like i said he said it i could show up
- 1:52:10
old songs and not subscribe to that old way of thinking today i agree these are old classics this is
- 1:52:16
what the people wanted no no no no i'm taking i well this is where i i'm gonna
- 1:52:22
bow out because i didn't hear his new album right so if his new album is the typical jeezy [ __ ] that he's been
- 1:52:28
it's not it's not it's it's not it's grown it's mature right that that's where i'm going [ __ ]
- 1:52:34
i'm married jail's death this is what it brings you y'all used to live this but now i'm living this he tried to make his version
- 1:52:40
of 444. cool okay without the okay so but it was so simple it was i feel you
- 1:52:46
again if he was still talking the same old [ __ ] look at the album cover with the beret
- 1:52:51
yeah and he got killed for that panther jeez like he got killed this is the candy with the spokes
- 1:52:57
i feel them i'm just saying that uh if if he was talking that same old [ __ ] then
- 1:53:04
you got demi lovato but i think and that record actually went i was very shocked that's one of my
- 1:53:09
favorites on that album yeah i did not expect that at all i was like oh [ __ ] this is hard but yeah
- 1:53:15
on this podcast we don't need a demi lovato breakdown i didn't believe you're letting everyone know that you're talking about your
- 1:53:21
shock for it i was shocked you do that on your we love demi lovato podcast um all right so uh we have we
- 1:53:29
have a guest upstairs uh should we bring our guests down to be to get acclimated for a quick second
- 1:53:36
bring them down man we'll keep talking uh the tina turner dock the tina turner dock on where was that
- 1:53:44
that i saw the hbo max also nice that was on hbo the tina turner dock
- 1:53:50
i didn't see it i heard it was like a five-part doc that has the option to be rolled into all one
- 1:53:56
i saw it as one long film piece uh i like that by the way let me let me
- 1:54:02
tell you guys steve what's going on man how you feeling man you are a rich [ __ ]
- 1:54:08
you are a rich [ __ ] man come sit right by me man right right way i like you to be come
- 1:54:15
here sit down here with your [ __ ] what the hell is this some rich bag
- 1:54:34
it's got some weight to it this is a nice bag you [ __ ] rich piece of [ __ ] let's see oh yeah see see come on man
- 1:54:45
what are you saying what is this no no i want you to tell the people they can't see
- 1:54:52
can you talk into the mic the chateau town raw child oh six just to real light
- 1:54:59
then we hit the age real quick we can put the ace on ice right now let's get
- 1:55:08
i don't know if you guys cigars in there whatever you guys want to do
- 1:55:26
[Applause]
- 1:55:36
[Laughter] ladies and gentlemen steve stout is here
- 1:55:42
to join us let me hit the round of applause one more time he brought me a really beautiful rich
- 1:55:48
[ __ ] looking bag uh filled with some what's this some some rothschilds
- 1:55:54
that's a rich name some ace cigars this is beautiful man you know what this
- 1:56:01
reminds me of no let me tell you what this reminds me of
- 1:56:06
no i was in miami by happenstance right by happenstance i was in miami
- 1:56:15
i was chasing my dick looking for something to do for the night of course that's what you do in miami
- 1:56:20
yeah yeah yeah yeah i wound up with a really good friend of mine
- 1:56:26
and she told me to run over to this spot because steve was over there and steve is my guy
- 1:56:31
so i ran over to the spot and it was mixie it was white girls partying techno music
- 1:56:38
that was spanish that's what the rich [ __ ] say they call the white girl spanish that's not even true it was white girls
- 1:56:45
listen there was white girls partying they were like billionaires there was
- 1:56:51
billionaires everywhere right like it was a lot going on and i tapped steve stout and i said
- 1:56:58
yo man this is a movie and he was drunk and he just didn't
- 1:57:04
whatever have fun man and then 10 minutes later a white guy with an accent came in the
- 1:57:11
club and he was carrying something kind of like steve with the book bag
- 1:57:16
i'm gonna tell this story i don't care if you get [ __ ] trouble and he was like yo man steve said yo
- 1:57:22
this gentleman just put him on a first class trip from london
- 1:57:28
because he's got this black diamond that i was searching for for years and he found it for me anywhere in the
- 1:57:35
world this is xxx amount of dollars but he got it for me and he brought it here look at this beautiful piece oh i'm
- 1:57:41
sorry and he pulled this thing out in the club and it was a beautiful piece of jewelry
- 1:57:48
whatever this was a diamond and at that point i knew oh yeah that's right it was the um
- 1:57:54
oh it's just so hot whatever that was it was a beautiful piece it was a
- 1:58:00
beautiful diamond it was it was a beautiful black diamond it was the star of africa it's a lapel
- 1:58:06
pin um that's big money talk
- 1:58:11
these are these are real things i mean
- 1:58:16
yo these are save on these are real things right i'm gonna use that line one day by the
- 1:58:21
way steve steve how are you doing man this is a long time coming with us getting you on the phone i'm happy to be here
- 1:58:28
i'm happy today i wanted to come here i've been asking to come here for a minute man you're in the welfare chair yeah i didn't know that's that's because
- 1:58:34
you're registered i'm sure you've directed something at some point no no home movies
- 1:58:46
sure a lot of those in miami the home movies they've been going on for years got it yeah you probably are one of the
- 1:58:52
inventors of those home movies that's not true no probably don't try to go down you've been in a long time
- 1:58:58
that's why it's glad i'm glad to have you here because your name is part of so many legendary stories and hip-hop and even
- 1:59:05
if you don't know those things because you're young today you have united masters right you're in plenty of pictures with na
- 1:59:11
sipping wine saying that y'all are better than us like you got a lot of [ __ ] going on so when we see it
- 1:59:17
for me what you symbolize is one of the guys that came in under the
- 1:59:23
old the old regime the old set of rules maybe learnt from the old set of rules
- 1:59:30
and then had to adapt however many years later when you realize much like this
- 1:59:36
generation okay a lot of that stuff that we learned and the way that we did things we could probably do it differently and
- 1:59:42
do it a little better what do you say today yeah it was probably two it was probably two or three transitions
- 1:59:48
from the time i got into business i got in in um
- 1:59:53
90 i really but [ __ ] i got in the business in 92 9192 with kid and play the first thing i
- 1:59:59
did that was steve stout doing something was i did the theme music um for the martin lawrence
- 2:00:09
so i found a producer this kid named steve kitt and i knew martin he was kidding play
- 2:00:15
he's asleep on the couch he was want to come up you know and you know when he got the show he
- 2:00:21
he you know he gave me the opportunity and i had my producer steve did the the theme music and that
- 2:00:26
was really the first thing that got me going and managing produces um and i got my you know got my
- 2:00:32
confidence that i could figure it out and it went from that to to to nas and then nas to will smith and then will
- 2:00:38
smith to track masters with track masters and nods was the same time okay uh both 95 and then um
- 2:00:46
mary and will smith and then enrique and glaciers and then it just started going
- 2:00:51
on and on and on
- 2:01:07
the thing that was crazy and it's a very important part of of being an entrepreneur and really just
- 2:01:13
knowing yourself was when i left the music business in 1999 when i departed i felt like i could do
- 2:01:19
more for the music business outside of the music business and i went into advertising and people thought
- 2:01:25
that was crazy because i was running into scope and it was big and we had just did eight mile and it was just all these things
- 2:01:32
but i knew if i went into the advertising business nobody was there that i could make something happen and
- 2:01:37
i'm i'm into that kind of thing i'm into like if there's no footsteps then let me just go do it let me go lay those things down
- 2:01:43
and i'll do the work and when i got to advertising i mean the first big thing that i did
- 2:01:50
but i knew people would love it and it was just my gut instance was the allen ivis and jadakiss commercial
- 2:01:55
and i was just like man are you kidding me like i know i could do this and i know people are gonna love this
- 2:02:01
[ __ ] and uh they were playing the commercial on the radio
- 2:02:06
um and it was just like i was like oh we could do that and then that led to oh let's then let's do the let's do the
- 2:02:12
s carters let's do sneakers let's take it one step further and we did the s carters the g units the
- 2:02:18
ice creams with pharrell and you know we it was a became a thing in 2003
- 2:02:23
2004 and then i'm loving it and it just with mcdonald's and it really
- 2:02:28
has gone on and on and then it went back to music and with united masters so
- 2:02:34
basically you're one of the original brand ambassadors of this thing no i'm the guy who did it
- 2:02:41
i'm the guy there is no other person when you talk about hip-hop being in advertising and treating it
- 2:02:48
like the treating the artists like brands and taking that around the world there is no other person
- 2:02:54
there's not a second person to name so you consciously did it you knew it
- 2:03:00
was lacking from white i knew it i got a glimpse of it
- 2:03:05
i got a glimpse of it when we did men in black and the album sold 10 million copies and the glasses sold more than the album
- 2:03:12
and nobody even talked about it because in the music business the issue was we made so much money
- 2:03:18
because consumers you guys were kids we were selling you guys an album for sixteen dollars in which
- 2:03:24
you only really like one song yeah he's probably your age
- 2:03:39
but yeah you buy the one up you buy the album the margin on that is huge right because
- 2:03:46
you know it's only one song you're making so much money you're not even thinking about all of the other ancillary businesses
- 2:03:53
that you are not making money off of like i mean all the money that was made up for ringtones that record companies
- 2:03:58
didn't own the ringtone business they was just giving the money away so um i just i'm not i'm not one to get into
- 2:04:06
that like you know i learned from my dad like my dad grew up like a merchant marine mechanic like it don't
- 2:04:13
make a difference man no matter what the job is you got to do the job like it's that job just because we're making so much money and entertainment
- 2:04:19
doesn't mean you work less because you make more money put the same effort in as a plumber as a mechanic as somebody else
- 2:04:25
we ain't got [ __ ] and that's what i did and so when i left i'm like i'm gonna figure this thing out
- 2:04:30
because what i didn't want to see anymore was like you watch fruit loop commercials and then you got like somebody doing fake
- 2:04:36
rap in the background and all that stupid [ __ ] and you're looking at it like this this ain't even real
- 2:04:41
let's put the real dudes in so i'm like i'm gonna be the guy to figure out how to get the real dudes in it
- 2:04:47
and i just chipped away at it and got it done what side of the fence were you on when
- 2:04:52
super ugly drop which side of the defense was that on i
- 2:04:59
was never an important question i understand you fly but can i get some alcohol i mean
- 2:05:18
on don't do that again neither i didn't like i didn't like i didn't like how we was represented
- 2:05:24
just now they shouldn't have to ask for the wine right you can't bring the wine
- 2:05:31
come on man show me
- 2:05:37
there's certain things we got to clean up around here hey we got a washer and dryer together
- 2:05:46
get out of here you got to get
- 2:05:51
and you come from the humble beginnings of hip-hop i don't want to ask you about where you fountain has that but it was it was a
- 2:05:57
wash and dryer around it was a washing dryer come on man steve we come from humble
- 2:06:03
beginnings at this podcast we do and our old spot was a lot smaller than this
- 2:06:09
and did you and we just made magic out of a really small spot so we got to this
- 2:06:14
new spot right after the spotify deal all that [ __ ] that imploded we got here
- 2:06:20
uh and we had a minor mine some minor issues with our co-hosts
- 2:06:25
our normal co-host of however many years and ish and ice are doing me the solid
- 2:06:31
of filling in wow whatever internal issues get handled
- 2:06:37
so they're not normal podcasters they're hip-hop lovers i hate podcasts actually but they're not
- 2:06:44
[Laughter]
- 2:06:54
it's a favor one but the typical conversation is normal barbershop [ __ ] yeah you know
- 2:07:00
what i mean like that we discussed so that we cover is normal stuff that we talk about on a day-to-day basis just shooting a [ __ ] in the house
- 2:07:07
playing cards meaning [ __ ] gonna come through with the uh the rock right now yeah yeah
- 2:07:15
yeah so it's actually good so that's where we landed it's fantastic what are you talking about my bad i thought you were one of the
- 2:07:21
personal guests to have here thank you yeah of course man come with gifts
- 2:07:26
no personality one of those little party kids that's a nice big person that has a full package
- 2:07:33
and the bag specific for liquor and cigars that was fancy that that was a nice bag though that was
- 2:07:38
a nice bit alligator that was nice steve what what's happening with united masters what's going on with united
- 2:07:44
masters what's going on is we got we just passed a million artists united on our platform
- 2:07:50
all independent uh
- 2:07:59
[Applause]
- 2:08:07
i use distrokid why are you better than district well wait before you answer that attack
- 2:08:14
that's a good question that's a good question for people who are not familiar for people who are not familiar
- 2:08:19
can you at least can you give them some what it like if i've never heard of united artists yeah can you tell me you know you said
- 2:08:25
expelled expound expel i'm double checking
- 2:08:31
rich bastard united masses is distribution if you
- 2:08:36
want to uh distribute music and get it on the dsps apple
- 2:08:42
spotify uh amazon music diesel and others you go through united masters rather
- 2:08:48
than signing a record deal you can go through united masses go through your phone get the music uploaded
- 2:08:54
on the dsps and then start to earn money on your your songs so so an artist can't do that
- 2:08:59
themselves like an artist can't you just can't go to apple
- 2:09:07
you have to go through a service to do that like okay right you have to go through uh an incubator service and a
- 2:09:12
distributor we happen to be uh the best at it so you answer your question about distrokid
- 2:09:18
or any anyway whatever they all do one side of what their
- 2:09:24
business do is is very similar they do distribution but we have an agency built inside a united
- 2:09:30
masses called translation okay and this agency represents the biggest brands 18t
- 2:09:36
state farm the nba espn um the knicks and
- 2:09:43
as an example and what we have on one side is artists a million artists and i always
- 2:09:48
look at artists as creating cultural currency uh they always create trends we have
- 2:09:53
that on one side and on the other side we have brands and this creates a marketplace where they can work together and they work
- 2:09:59
together and we coordinate that all within our offices okay so um having those level of brand
- 2:10:05
opportunities is much much more unique than what those other services they don't do much they don't
- 2:10:10
they just put you out there that's your problem because you're over there that's true
- 2:10:17
[Laughter] you know you can't say that to people no
- 2:10:22
you can't you can't say that to me are you supposed to ask me a very
- 2:10:46
but now your position like you just said the parks that's your problem you're over there mm-hmm i would assume i want you over
- 2:10:52
here i want to get all the others i would assume that your position creates enemies
- 2:10:58
with with distribution i'm just showing everybody the fact that
- 2:11:05
you definitely put me in a wine glass and it says chrissette michelle the artist on it
- 2:11:29
look what you did to the game i was just honoring your legacy you know don't the position you sit in doesn't it
- 2:11:35
put you at odds with some of the distributors and labels like labels hate you right
- 2:11:43
well the labels i'm sure don't like opposition well they hate you well well the labels
- 2:11:48
are starting to do things like buy independent record companies now because they realize they just bought awol
- 2:11:54
um sony did they realize that they got to start this is the future right the fastest growing segment in the
- 2:12:00
music business are independent artists so they didn't like me in the beginning but
- 2:12:06
they're actually starting to buy those companies you now steve okay well that means that that may have
- 2:12:12
something to do with just me there we go okay all right but outside of that part of it um [Music]
- 2:12:18
i i think that the industry is morphing and changing it's no different joe speaking of not liking people the way
- 2:12:25
people feel about you yeah because you still not
- 2:12:33
this week life why would and why would they like joe well because joe decided that he didn't
- 2:12:39
want to sign a deal and do the status quo that he wanted to be independent and control his future these are the values
- 2:12:45
that i've been speaking about for years this is actually what connected us because i wasn't really a fan of joe as
- 2:12:51
a rapper or anything of that matter but as joe morphed into
- 2:12:56
his new role can i tell you guys all the executives say that about joe the rapper yeah i wasn't into joe the rapper but as he
- 2:13:02
takes what he says and what he's talking about is crazy and as soon as we met we were meeting up
- 2:13:08
in harlem we met a few times and was just talking i was like what he's gonna do and where
- 2:13:13
his heart is at is going to be part of tomorrow and it was exactly what i want to do at united masses and the fact that
- 2:13:19
he just did the deal with patreon it's going to [ __ ] things up because now you have the next wave of creators
- 2:13:25
saying i could do that too with the deal that i announced uh
- 2:13:31
recently uh with apple being an investor in united masses what makes this important is now what
- 2:13:38
what i'm saying and what they're saying is it's an option to go independent like if you go
- 2:13:43
to a major label that's one option but just because you go independent doesn't mean you have you don't have the
- 2:13:49
same opportunities prior you think if you go independent you're definitely going to get jerked on the opportunities
- 2:13:55
you're not going to get a shot to get this work yeah but now what we're saying is what my goal is to not say you know [ __ ]
- 2:14:02
the record companies but it's just one option you can go take an advance and sign your rights away right or you
- 2:14:08
can control your rights right come to united masses and get similar opportunities gotcha that's the goal got you right and
- 2:14:15
i think that's what joe you you know you're building what you're doing now and
- 2:14:20
like you want people to say you could sign this company or that company or you can be independent own your
- 2:14:27
rights it may take longer to make the money but you own yourself in perpetuity and there's value to that absolutely
- 2:14:34
that's where i think that's what joe thinks all the value is but my stance today steve
- 2:14:39
is i can't convince people of that anymore like i can't twist people's arm to know where
- 2:14:45
the value is uh to tell them how they should go about their business but the [ __ ] that you just named is the
- 2:14:52
[ __ ] that i've been on it's the [ __ ] i'll continue to be on and that's just i'm not wavering on some
- 2:14:58
of that like that's where i come from i've did the majors i've done the independent
- 2:15:04
i see where i like i see where i'm happy i see where i land and some of those ideologies are present in podcasting as
- 2:15:11
well do you know some people if you're not really talented
- 2:15:16
and you don't believe that you're gonna make it oh it might be the right idea to just
- 2:15:23
take the bag because you you you don't believe in yourself that might be the better
- 2:15:28
financial decision sure but if you're committed to your craft and you believe in yourself and you work hard and you work hard for
- 2:15:35
sure yeah it makes no sense to take your money what is there the question
- 2:15:40
if that's the case there's a lot of people that believe in themselves and have talent it's the work hard part that separates i
- 2:15:46
think in my my opinion the people that make it long-term but i'll tell you this right now
- 2:15:51
but i i don't care if you have a record deal or you have a podcast deal if you are not using your
- 2:15:58
social tools and you are not working hard at marketing yourself it ain't gonna work anyway you can have
- 2:16:04
a record deal if you're not using your social media in a way to engage your audience you're not going to get [ __ ] done same thing with
- 2:16:10
podcasts and everything else so the bets on you own no matter what yeah you working hard is batteries
- 2:16:16
included now this ain't back in the days where you just show up and somebody just put makeup on you and
- 2:16:21
slap a outfit on you and be like go on mtv and get it done right no
- 2:16:27
you gotta work you gotta do the work anyway yeah that exists in the major label system for sure speaking of
- 2:16:33
speaking of doing the work i'll share with you a private conversation that i shouldn't share publicly is it private
- 2:16:38
not between you and i but i had this conversation with someone else in confidence and i'll share pieces of it with you
- 2:16:43
thank you just to see you respond in real time no problem i was talking to a friend of mine and they were telling me that there was a
- 2:16:49
zoom call recently it was a very important zoom call what i'm learning as somebody who's
- 2:16:55
trying to get as much money as y'all is y'all have secrets y'all
- 2:17:15
yeah yeah you've been doing it in a long time so listen so they were telling me we got a zoom call and it was a zoom call like for some
- 2:17:21
important matter that broke you shouldn't be involved in right and it was you let's make up some names
- 2:17:27
yeah yeah yeah yeah oh some important figures yeah and y'all were supposed to speak about
- 2:17:33
new york issues yeah it's very did this ring a bell yet
- 2:17:38
from the first time the first word you said the person the person that was telling me the story laughed
- 2:17:45
because it's you let's say hove and puff speaking about very important new york
- 2:17:51
issues yeah but you looked wealthy in miami by a
- 2:17:57
beachfront yeah hove looked wealthy by a beachfront that wasn't new york and puff looked
- 2:18:03
wealthy by a beachfront that was in new york and the person had to say yo dogs you [ __ ] gotta go change
- 2:18:12
you have to change you can't fight for these new york policies and all this important [ __ ]
- 2:18:18
with all that just like that's true well
- 2:18:25
part of it is true the part that's true was that we actually do care about new york city
- 2:18:32
and we did have a conversation about new york and you know what's how is new york going to return post covet
- 2:18:39
um and that really matters that's what we got on this call and we we we taped this for for that reason now if
- 2:18:45
you look at that and you go well look what he has on look what he has on and they don't look like they care there's
- 2:18:50
no other reason to do it like i can't not be who i am i came from
- 2:18:56
queens i went to five colleges i didn't graduate and you know the whole story it's
- 2:19:01
documented what i did it's not like um i just got to the the in front the beach with the thing
- 2:19:08
right i love new york city new york city and every dirty piece of [ __ ] version of
- 2:19:13
it has helped me get to where i am and what i don't want is for new york to [ __ ] around and turn into detroit
- 2:19:20
because you know people start to leave and it ends up getting [ __ ] up and it it's a concerning it's very
- 2:19:26
concerning to puff it's very concerning to jade it's very concerning to nas it's concerned to a lot whether
- 2:19:31
you live in new york or not um new york city concerning the people that don't live in new york because new york there's something about
- 2:19:38
new york that you take with you no matter where you go you got it new york pride you take it where no matter where you go man and
- 2:19:45
you don't ever want that to go nowhere that's why so do you think that that new
- 2:19:50
entrepreneurs right that bump into their first bit of money
- 2:19:55
should stay in new york no it's not about staying in new york no no that's a separate point i'm asking
- 2:20:01
i'm asking do you and when you when you talk about the state of new york and the future of new york do you see
- 2:20:06
new young black entrepreneurs staying in new york with their new
- 2:20:12
wealth listen because that's the problem that's the conversation i'm having with a lot of people this is my problem
- 2:20:17
if new york thinks that the solution out of this is just raising the taxes
- 2:20:23
ridiculously and making it so that you have to pay 70 of your money
- 2:20:28
to live in new york and get shitty services
- 2:20:33
um then no they shouldn't be in new york if new york is gonna cost so much to live in it
- 2:20:39
and what you get back out of it doesn't return no you shouldn't live in new york okay why
- 2:20:44
is that new it's always been there no no they're raising money outside of the tax issue
- 2:20:49
it's always been cramped it's always been expensive expensive as [ __ ] mm-hmm it could begin
- 2:20:57
for your dollar hasn't ever really been a thing no new york is living off of new york or
- 2:21:04
i'm just listen i i i disagree with you i disagree with you because it's expensive but rich with opportunity
- 2:21:10
i agree yeah so when you saw that's that so is it the metropolitan area then you
- 2:21:17
mean because you can haul that new jersey very very specific
- 2:21:22
no no i'm saying that i'm from jersey
- 2:21:38
but it's right there like oh it's ten minutes no but i'm just saying it's new jersey though i can get cricket
- 2:21:44
but i can get to new york faster than new yorkers exactly explain that i can walk
- 2:21:50
i can walk i can walk to new york i can walk
- 2:21:58
i can walk to new york city and be there faster than the person in queens trying to get to manhattan that's what i mean
- 2:22:03
oh you can get to existence yeah that's all i'm saying that's that was my question like yo are you are
- 2:22:09
you speaking from the tri-state area when you say new york yeah is rich
- 2:22:14
with opportunity i'm saying that new york city is rich with opportunity full stop gotcha i
- 2:22:19
agree all right it is and all of the the places that are in close proximity to it
- 2:22:24
all benefit from that from that if we lose that it's [ __ ] up yeah that's all i'm
- 2:22:30
saying and if they raise taxes to the point where all of these companies leave it turns those
- 2:22:36
opportunities and then all of a sudden new jersey's not new jersey anymore because new jersey is great because it's proximity to new
- 2:22:42
york yeah but if new jersey has proximity to detroit cleveland then you become cleveland yeah all right
- 2:22:51
i agree um can i tell you my favorite steve stout story over the past two
- 2:22:56
years that's not personal between us i was sitting home
- 2:23:02
yeah this is yo you're the man you've caused me so much joy that you don't know about i was sitting home watching first take
- 2:23:10
[Laughter] and you popped up that's my
- 2:23:18
man steve yeah and i'm a knicks man yeah so i want to hear what he got to say
- 2:23:25
you know this isn't it and you went down there talking a whole bunch of [ __ ] you shouldn't have said and then they snatch your ass off of
- 2:23:32
that screen and never let you talk again for the knicks and i said see can't i have no hip-hop
- 2:23:37
[ __ ] up there talking real talk about no team yeah that was one of my favorite moments
- 2:23:43
because you was up there kicking it like we can get well it was very uh it was hot on that
- 2:23:50
set in this guy first of all i think steven a is
- 2:23:56
fantastic he's [ __ ] great he's fantastic and underpaid and from queens he's the man
- 2:24:02
yeah um and huge inspiration you know i enjoy doing the marketing for
- 2:24:08
the knicks i love the knicks i mean i grew up in new york i love the knicks i think it's smart for them to have you yeah i told you that before um but uh
- 2:24:16
and you see what's happening this season it's amazing where they're playing playing hard man be even more amazing if they drafted
- 2:24:22
tyler hansborough eve whatever his name is i'm secretary leon and west have done an amazing job
- 2:24:28
[ __ ] they're killing coach tibbs the whole thing is just ridiculous it's great it's cooking it's
- 2:24:33
clicking when and when fans come back forget it it's gonna be great the garden's gonna feel magical so we're not gonna see you
- 2:24:38
at the barclays like that's i saw you i bumped into you the barclays that was d-wade's last game oh yeah that was a that was a great
- 2:24:45
d-wave's last game yeah it was a great night real good night yeah um so no more
- 2:24:50
barclays for you nah my neck so i'm running with the next i'm not going to
- 2:24:58
yeah we're in the next place yeah um what else do i need to ask steve about so much [ __ ] to get into with you
- 2:25:04
oh is there any no stuff i need to know from steve um
- 2:25:16
independence is ruining my life you know what's going on all of this stuff that i stand for is ruining my [ __ ] life why
- 2:25:22
because as i attempt to to and this is too much real talk now as i attempt to build a business or be an
- 2:25:28
entrepreneur or stand by some of my some of my codes and morals that i live by
- 2:25:34
it is causing an issue with people that i may have grown up with
- 2:25:41
let's say that there we go it's like when i got a record deal some of the people that i was doing
- 2:25:47
breaking and interrings with and robbing gas stations with they maybe didn't understand the move i'm serious there was like
- 2:25:55
white white stuff i'm serious they they didn't get you i didn't get yours so now here we go right and let's not
- 2:26:02
even get to now a few years ago there were some people in my life that was like yo man you doing all right so i
- 2:26:08
should be doing all right and i'm and i tried to explain taxes to them in that moment
- 2:26:14
that's a bad idea it's a bad conversation to have steve when you're talking about somebody you grew up with
- 2:26:19
well they're like we used to rob gas stations why are you talking about taxes we shared cupcakes together we have we've done everything together
- 2:26:26
and you telling me about taxes right now so i mean at every step of the way there's been like a huge
- 2:26:32
lesson for me to learn right and i learned from guys like you whole puff the people that if andre
- 2:26:37
harrell rest in peace my god like the people that yeah we don't even need to get there but the people that yeah i mean y'all and when you try to
- 2:26:45
implement some of that stuff today you're dealing with like internet kids and just like it's just a different time
- 2:26:51
it's different than y'all doing in the 90s and doing it today that's never changed uh uh joe there's
- 2:26:58
always going to be a survivor's remorse there was that was the show lebron and maverick carter did
- 2:27:03
survivors remorse a guy who made it and it was all of the reaper all all of the unintended effects of making
- 2:27:10
it uh family look i just read this last night man can you believe uh uh uh kobe's
- 2:27:17
mother-in-law his wife's vanessa's mom is suing the estate she's suing her daughter
- 2:27:22
mm-hmm yeah look at that watching the kids yeah i mean these are real real things
- 2:27:29
that you can't even you know once money gets involved unfortunately all bets are off you don't
- 2:27:35
know who your friends are until there's money or women involved i know but i'm asking you how
- 2:27:41
you deal with that um you probably give it because you love
- 2:27:47
somebody you give them you give them the benefit of the doubt but then it becomes a thing where you get you you can't move
- 2:27:54
i mean you you be you have no options you're back against the wall either you're going to stay still and stuck in
- 2:28:00
the moment or you're going to figure out yeah we got it we got to cut ties we got to move on man when you
- 2:28:05
when you have a relationship with somebody and every single time y'all talk everything is like you remember the time
- 2:28:11
when we remember the time when we it's time to go right right you ain't got no conversation
- 2:28:18
you ain't got no new words man looking back you need some new words damn it that hurts what's your favorite michelle
- 2:28:24
hey he's absolutely right though no no no i
- 2:28:30
understand the denzel movie when he's like yo what you gonna do your success took a shot at you
- 2:28:35
what you gonna do be unsuccessful you can't be stagnant because everybody can't grow with you you gotta grow and that's gonna mean
- 2:28:43
letting some people fall by the wayside it's hard that you grew up and you don't want to feel like a sellout you're like everybody you [ __ ]
- 2:28:49
it on you feel like a hypocrite and you know what joe you're focused on what you're doing this craft you got one
- 2:28:56
shot to get this right and change your family's fortunes forever right and you got to finish this job and
- 2:29:02
you got to finish it off and if anybody gets in the way of that they're going to have to deal with it and see you later man and this is what
- 2:29:08
it is that's how i feel but it hurts it definitely processes that is how i feel the process is man it hurts the process that's it
- 2:29:17
i mean that's it the real ones the real ones understand man i got you know my i have family members who
- 2:29:22
really go okay they didn't understand for a while and then it turns over time they're like oh [ __ ] now i understand
- 2:29:29
really what you're doing there's a couple things that happen and they go oh it could be things in their life that
- 2:29:35
get them more mature or they see you ascending to a place where people are like oh [ __ ]
- 2:29:41
you're related to steve style and they go he really wasn't [ __ ] around 15 years
- 2:29:47
ago when he said this that in the third my mom used to be mad at me a lot because i'm like
- 2:29:52
why don't you know go to more family events go to this and i'm like no i got to go
- 2:29:58
to not see nas and that like that was more important than the family and it made me feel bad about
- 2:30:03
that and now they understand right and imagine if i didn't do it and didn't
- 2:30:08
have a chance for them ever to understand i just lost the opportunity opportunities aren't waiting for you joe
- 2:30:14
let me ask you though do you think they're more open to understanding it because now mommy doesn't have a mortgage i think
- 2:30:21
you know what i'm saying like well i think look at the money part of it well once you see it working yeah
- 2:30:26
once you say i think what you want to get a little bit i think once they see it working it doesn't necessarily have to work if
- 2:30:32
it has to work for them that's a different selfish [ __ ] but then they get but then
- 2:30:38
i'm just saying if it's crystal clear to them not because you paid for their mortgage but because they see that you're
- 2:30:44
succeeding yeah yeah i'm just saying it doesn't have to be clear only if it's into their benefit they if
- 2:30:49
they love you like my mom understood what was going on before i bought her house
- 2:30:55
like she knew what was going on your mother's way more insightful than most well i'm saying that because
- 2:31:02
even your our parents my parents are i won't say their age but they're older my mother's inside what are you talking about
- 2:31:07
i don't know i don't know your mother i'm just saying i'm not taking a shot
- 2:31:19
it's always the most light-skinned
- 2:31:25
[Music] [ __ ]
- 2:31:36
christopher williams
- 2:31:42
oh my god the light skin [ __ ] for the fact
- 2:31:48
that's funny you still work with the track masters tone tone is my best friend man yeah
- 2:31:53
don't work with them anymore uh underrated oh underrated oh you i can't
- 2:32:00
underappreciate it under appreciation no yeah well i definitely want them to get that verses off with them
- 2:32:06
sexy thing i wanted to get their verses off with um that's what you do you want to see me that's what you're
- 2:32:11
doing hold up hold up for me
- 2:32:17
mike check yeah i mean hey this is the remix by the way this is that that's never this is the remix some of y'all don't
- 2:32:24
know they sold remixes separately back then it was almost a different story come on man there's you
- 2:32:30
know a little bit about this right yeah you 47 [ __ ] [ __ ] yeah let's get the bread then steve was
- 2:32:36
working in hip-hop with his job you were old [ __ ] i i'm not that old but yeah i started she's 92
- 2:32:44
yeah 22 how old were you when i was younger 22. oh really yeah i started when i was 21.
- 2:32:51
i started when i was 21 in the record business um as kitten plays road manager first time
- 2:32:57
when i went up to uptown records was the day that magic johnson said he had aids and i watched it
- 2:33:04
in puffy's office it was puffy who i just met andre harrell um my man and we all sat
- 2:33:10
there and well and we watched him he had a press conference many had aged at the thing that and that was like when i had
- 2:33:17
been in the music business like maybe seven months before that i was in 12th grade yeah i didn't know my age i'm chilling
- 2:33:25
i'm gonna tell you something i learned about uh i think about this all the time about um this idea of fame
- 2:33:32
and just completely changing subjects but i used to watch kid and play and they had
- 2:33:40
lost their way as musicians and they were walking around and people
- 2:33:47
would go up to them and ask them for their autograph and every time people were asking for their autograph in their minds
- 2:33:53
it was like oh [ __ ] we popping and you realize that people would ask you for your
- 2:33:59
autograph but they would never buy your [ __ ] they just would ask you for your autograph and it's the
- 2:34:04
same thing now with followers and likes and [ __ ] like they don't give a [ __ ] about you because like all of a sudden you have all these
- 2:34:10
followers you have all these likes and then you drop a song and you try to sell some skincare or some [ __ ]
- 2:34:15
and the [ __ ] don't break out it don't even matter and you're like well i have this many people following me how come they don't care because they really
- 2:34:22
aren't into you like that right there's people who like you and there's people who love you it's
- 2:34:27
funny you say that at united masters are you attempting to target true talent or are you attempting to target musicians
- 2:34:33
that have numbers behind them i am trying to i am first of all we're a platform i'm not targeting anybody everyone it's everyone i'm not targeting
- 2:34:40
anybody if you want to if you want to get your music distributed and you have 20 fans or you have 2
- 2:34:45
million fans man do you think so it's not used to listening actively i'm not soliciting actively no do you take a percentage or is it like a fee
- 2:34:51
basis this choice you could you could pay five dollars a month and keep 100 of your money or you can
- 2:34:56
pay uh uh free up front and you get 90 we get 10. does that
- 2:35:02
does either of those impact uh the licensing part no okay no not at all i'm paying you
- 2:35:08
five dollars a month yeah
- 2:35:18
they got apple invested in the company google invested in the company andreessen howard's invested in the
- 2:35:24
company i'm certainly not [ __ ] around um i got great technology behind
- 2:35:29
the company there's no it's all real you can check it every sideways upside down it's all good
- 2:35:35
and i don't care what anybody says that's dope i took the long route i've been doing this [ __ ] since i was 21 years old i took the [ __ ] long
- 2:35:42
route every single stone i turned over every step of the
- 2:35:48
way what do you think about um just on a general hip-hop question what
- 2:35:55
do you think about all of the rappers and all of the gun charges that are happening currently are you aware if you're not i can tell
- 2:36:01
you i'm very aware like what do you think about that is that uh
- 2:36:06
is that uh targeting targeting are we complicit as a culture in
- 2:36:14
that um is that the new uh
- 2:36:20
concoction for success moving forward like it seems we're targeting less musicians
- 2:36:26
and more people with stories well joe there's a that's that's the the long version of
- 2:36:32
that of that theory is fame and talent always had a relationship
- 2:36:37
always had a great relationship and in the last i'd say 10 years
- 2:36:42
fame has told talent i got you yeah peace peace out [ __ ] will set themselves on fire
- 2:36:50
for fame if you're talented you're not even you've seen it you don't even know what to do no we touched on that earlier yeah fame
- 2:36:56
versus talent man they are whoa they used to be they used to be co-conspirators not at war
- 2:37:02
and famous and people are like i've run in once the public started incentivizing fame
- 2:37:07
talent had to take a l right and talent's taken out right now now there's obviously going to be great
- 2:37:13
talent that is bigger than life but i'm just saying generally speaking you know you watch
- 2:37:18
people who are talented have to do things to be famous because if they can't get the fame part off
- 2:37:24
you know you got to get attention man these kids are putting guns and videos and doing everything that they're doing
- 2:37:30
they get the attention if they can get the song off behind it cool but they know that if they put the guns
- 2:37:35
in the video and do all kind of crazy [ __ ] it will get views yeah notoriety and it's it's it's it's
- 2:37:43
where we are in culture i mean people's you know people want to put tattoos all
- 2:37:48
over their bodies and faces and then [ __ ] like that i mean people like oh [ __ ] who's that a [ __ ]
- 2:37:54
who's stupid with a [ __ ] tattoo well these kids believe you know fame by
- 2:38:00
any means necessary yeah but again whatever i got to do to get it that chan that translates all
- 2:38:05
genres of music that's not a hip-hop thing i think it's it's it's not an old thing no i think it's no it's
- 2:38:11
it's really bad no it's gonna go it goes into it goes into i agree
- 2:38:16
one fake asses at 18 in the whole package yes right this goes it goes into a crazy crazy
- 2:38:22
thing bro women don't even take frontal pictures anymore like there are women that won't take a
- 2:38:28
frontal picture they gotta turn to the side or they gotta look over their shoulder because that's where you get the likes
- 2:38:34
and the notoriety from and they're making more money than oh you know that should show that
- 2:38:39
they're making a shitload of money so how do you knock it definitely making more money yeah yeah so how do you knock it at that
- 2:38:44
point with you man yo chris that michelle got
- 2:38:50
you back you can't target the dj's i'm seeing
- 2:38:56
these girls these girls are making all the money you used to see yo go to this club featuring
- 2:39:02
dj blah blah blah they don't say they changed the girl no the bartenders yeah yeah they became it
- 2:39:07
now
- 2:39:21
yeah i don't know your marital situation i don't know if you're single or not i'm married you know that i don't
- 2:39:26
try to i'm one i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know your marital situation i'm
- 2:39:33
single jaded scarred [ __ ] these [ __ ] i'm looking for love
- 2:39:38
in all the wrong places i'm open to the 39 year old the 26 year old i'm open i'm looking i'm searching
- 2:39:44
you're doing the whole milf program you're right yeah all right
- 2:39:54
i'm a deal if you don't think i'm guilty you don't think i'm giving them guilty vibes i'm not a dad they want to bone huh
- 2:40:00
[Music] i can't tell you hey if my oldest son have a bad night with the condom i'm
- 2:40:06
gonna be something else i'm gonna be a grill i'm gonna be a girl
- 2:40:11
something like that in your social travels though yeah as of
- 2:40:16
late have you seen and i'm gonna try to ask this safely yeah
- 2:40:21
and you can skip it if you need to i will have you seen a change in interaction
- 2:40:29
since the women have come up financially without the men like the women are getting to their own
- 2:40:35
bags they millionaires alone just in your travels have you seen their
- 2:40:41
stance and position change and be executed if we were expressed differently to men
- 2:40:47
who may have felt like they had to one-up financially in years past right that was a safe way to ask them
- 2:40:52
yeah you know what because i see it and you and miami [ __ ] you see it no
- 2:40:58
no i was like yeah but i don't see that interaction where the girl makes more money than the guy
- 2:41:04
and therefore how they communicate in the dialogue happens is different
- 2:41:10
i haven't seen that yet okay not even but i'm sure it's but i just i haven't seen that but not but you're
- 2:41:20
it's going to be hard for him to see it he has friends he goes to a club no i'm not but again at his level that
- 2:41:27
[ __ ] was with like the owner of kmart last time and tony was like yo this [ __ ] almost
- 2:41:33
came out wow he's not a 300 000 a year dude right
- 2:41:39
i mean debatable i don't know what he makes i don't know i don't know if he makes 300 grand all
- 2:41:44
right you just said he's a part of them he looks wealthy to me he's a part of this shirt his nigga's
- 2:41:49
shirt white bottle man you guys look like pink marshmallows i had the pink margela come on man back
- 2:41:56
to what i'm saying right so for to ask steve that question because we were going to address this earlier right
- 2:42:02
to ask steve that question he might be coming from a point of reference that not that many women can pull the
- 2:42:09
card on him i didn't think they pulled it on him he might have been around though but my
- 2:42:16
my circle is doing it exactly so they're not you know what i'm
- 2:42:21
saying she's not pulling the card on my circle
- 2:42:32
put your card back in the deck when it comes to me in my circle
- 2:42:43
did you see did you see the uh this year's grammys at all
- 2:42:48
you got it say less no it's quiet i was i was quiet i've seen some of this show i've seen some of the performances
- 2:42:55
after i didn't watch it live um i wanted to see some of the performances afterwards because
- 2:43:01
of um you know specifically cardi's because it was talked about a lot so i wanted to see that and um uh and
- 2:43:08
little babies performance because i want to see that because people said it was dope what do you think what do you think about uh cardi and meg gyrating
- 2:43:15
on each other on cbs that cbs knows they need to do that got it yep yep that's got it that's
- 2:43:23
power hip-hop yeah cbs knows they need to do that and if cbs don't do that they don't show up
- 2:43:29
and if they don't show up they don't have to show up yeah so this is the problem right so the cbs becomes complicit
- 2:43:36
um and that's the other thing that you know people become more look man back in the days joe remember
- 2:43:42
all these rappers get these deals and then uh you know rick ross says one thing and they drop them from reebok and
- 2:43:48
they drop [ __ ] could say anything right now nobody's dropping anybody nobody's doing [ __ ] really no unless it
- 2:43:55
shows up in the new york times no one's dropping anybody everybody's with everything because they know
- 2:44:01
like the rules of the the the the goal posts are moving right what is
- 2:44:07
too sexy what is to follow what she's doing no she don't know what is too sexy what is
- 2:44:13
too far what isn't you know
- 2:44:18
remedy never used to curse on television then all of a sudden it was like did he just say [ __ ] they said then you waited a little bit [ __ ]
- 2:44:26
did he just say on the nbc
- 2:44:40
when i was coming up watching tv they wouldn't even show two parents in the same bedroom they was doing all kind of they would
- 2:44:46
just show the show they wouldn't even let them cut inside the bedroom like you wouldn't show a couple in bed they would never do
- 2:44:52
that then it just changed over time standards change because you know what if the audience don't want
- 2:44:58
to see it and they check out your job is to keep adding more and more layers to it to make it engaged
- 2:45:05
because if it's not look they're stripping on stage man to make it controversial whatever it takes to get that bag that's
- 2:45:12
true whatever it takes to get that back but again that's kind of what we addressed earlier with regards to
- 2:45:18
um desean as long as that money is coming in houston texans could really give a [ __ ]
- 2:45:24
if he molests 7 000 nuns as long as it don't go public you know what i'm saying they're
- 2:45:30
gonna keep it from going publicly we'll put the ice on it you get what i'm saying and yeah and so now that's a societal thing
- 2:45:37
where the moral compass is skewed along with the money now i'm with you i'm with you the moral
- 2:45:44
conference has become uh look at this [ __ ] i'm a moving target yeah mm-hmm yeah
- 2:45:49
weekly daily man i'm in the advertising business these guys walk around
- 2:45:54
like when you buy media um a company will say i want to buy this
- 2:45:59
many impressions and they spend the money for the impressions and they'll buy it on you know some digital sites digital networks and
- 2:46:08
they just want to reach an audience and a target and a for a number as cheap as possible then
- 2:46:14
all of a sudden you find out that your ad is running before
- 2:46:19
a beheading on youtube you never gave a [ __ ] until it ran in
- 2:46:25
the new york times wrote that story about it now all of a sudden you go we don't want to run any advertising on youtube
- 2:46:31
you didn't give a [ __ ] you didn't even check before what i said this is the this is actually
- 2:46:36
you only care until it becomes public this is what he's saying nobody cares it's when it shows up in
- 2:46:43
the new york times and you could you lose your job and all of a sudden you act like you care
- 2:46:48
and you're stunned by the way that's part of the whole reaction things like oh i had no idea but you didn't give a [ __ ]
- 2:46:55
of course you had no idea you didn't care right you just bought as much media as you can
- 2:47:00
as cheap as possible and whatever on the edge programming look at people ran ads on
- 2:47:06
the grammys and they look what they were doing this time ties into chasing the face but but now if the new york time writes
- 2:47:13
the next day the grammys had sexual content on it it was laying and all of a sudden
- 2:47:18
becomes a problem all the advertisers we're not running anything on the grammys again until we see what the
- 2:47:23
performances are up front that's how it works it shoot first ask questions later
- 2:47:31
yeah that's my issue that's crazy it's my issue though with cbs so so and what's going on with little
- 2:47:36
nasa whoa do you think nike had some
- 2:47:42
you think nike had some wind of what was going on and now they're trying to dissociate themselves from i
- 2:47:47
i don't know if nike had any i think what little nas x did i think little nas x is a is a low-key
- 2:47:55
takashi 6-9 type from a from a marketing perspective and figuring out how to get attention
- 2:48:00
around themselves they both have done really good jobs with that whether you like their music or not
- 2:48:06
um and uh do i think nike had something to do with
- 2:48:11
that no did i think nike know about it no
- 2:48:16
would nike have cared if it didn't get media attention no no no now they got media attention
- 2:48:22
and the devils that satan and all that now they got to deal with it but had it not had that they wouldn't have kid
- 2:48:28
they did it they did a jesus shoe with holy water and no they didn't care it's the same company as soon as you
- 2:48:34
hear the word satan and it's different though yeah this is a whole different story
- 2:48:40
from nike shoe that has blood coming in a standpoint they don't care regardless
- 2:48:46
until the negative press just rolling in let me just tell you what he is out there who i don't know who's making the
- 2:48:51
shoe i'm shocked that you idiots believe that a drop of real blood is going in each pair
- 2:49:06
allegedly it's a drop of i don't care just the fact that you thought
- 2:49:16
we just said earlier that people will set themselves on fire right i mean this is close satan hell
- 2:49:21
fire so this is true he just went for it like okay bro you got it you you
- 2:49:29
why we got to get into satan well i mean what are we talking about man and now he has kirk franklin on the remix dawg he's landing kirk franklin is
- 2:49:36
on the remix the remix of what the devil worship are you sure this is what he said kirk
- 2:49:41
franklin is on a remix so it could be trolling we don't know bro he's lapped
- 2:49:46
we do not know on the video there it is and he got a bbl come on don't start dude
- 2:49:57
didn't get a bbl you need to go do some bbl research i don't know that [ __ ] is sitting i'll take your word yeah i'm gonna take this
- 2:50:03
[ __ ] you got it you got it listen man what can we expect from united mastermind for
- 2:50:08
before you leave um that we're going to really make a difference in the music business we're
- 2:50:14
going to teach the next generation of artists to not sign record deals to own their futures own their rights
- 2:50:21
make the money bet on themselves and really democratize the music business that's
- 2:50:26
what i want to do i i look at all those prince videos where he started talking about owning your rights and write slave on
- 2:50:32
his face and people thought he was eccentric and bugging out and you realize he was just you know a
- 2:50:37
man who had a vision before its time and if i do my job correctly i will
- 2:50:43
definitely encapsulate all of the energy that he stood for as it relates to what the music business
- 2:50:49
should be so that's what you should expect from me two three four yeah there we go
- 2:50:56
how many how many how many artists one million users yeah so they know you know the platform and joe check out me and
- 2:51:03
joe tomorrow tomorrow cause joe's gonna come through
- 2:51:09
[ __ ] because joe is standing for independence joe's about that life joe walked away from a big bag
- 2:51:27
[Music] that's it
- 2:51:45

- 2:52:03

- 2:52:09
years in this business man that was hilarious no that was yeah no
- 2:52:15
he gave me that he gave it up yeah steve is still crazy i think it
- 2:52:21
sounds like money though a [ __ ] sounds like money yeah i don't
- 2:52:27
even know if he knows that but no you know he didn't you know i don't know i don't know what he does
- 2:52:32
but when we hear it yeah yeah we can tell we can tell like when you say yo man
- 2:52:40
can i have a can you offer me a drink hospitality wasn't it yeah yeah yeah that was a real low thing but
- 2:52:47
it told you what was going on when he said when you asked him the question he said my circle doing it so yeah he said no
- 2:52:54
it's not applicable because yeah we don't apply to that yeah my circle they can't shine on us right that says a lot that was cool man
- 2:53:02
i yeah i appreciate steve for stopping by i appreciate every time we talk especially in miami when i know he
- 2:53:08
could be doing something much better you just gotta stay out of that part of miami man he trying to tell you where
- 2:53:14
you need to be in miami you're in the wrong way well steve is part of this steve is part of that group that you know when you have enough money
- 2:53:20
to move somewhere so your money can make money like all the people move to whenever this was
- 2:53:25
austin texas to try to make the new silicon valley yeah now there's a lot of black yeah that's that's happening now there's a lot of black millionaires
- 2:53:31
moving to miami to try to form whatever they're trying to do like steve is part of i have never had that type of money i've
- 2:53:39
never had access to that type of money and to be honest i've nev that type of thinking right yeah that's true like to
- 2:53:44
move somewhere this this year is the first year where i've said yo la is not an option for me
- 2:53:49
to move because it cost me money to move there it doesn't save me money it's not enough to attack save it's right
- 2:53:54
this was the first year i even applied my thinking that way before it was oh [ __ ] man if we up then
- 2:54:00
we go to l.a it's our friends but that's not where it is that's not where those dudes
- 2:54:06
are that's not how they got it right that's not what they like all you got to do is watch what happened before you to see how you
- 2:54:13
want to move and shake i subscribe to that i do uh in large part because of guys like steve puff hope
- 2:54:20
dame percy baby whoever it was before so you pull what
- 2:54:25
