salary is paid by taxpayer dollars derek

shavin who was supposed to be there to

protect and serve

derek chavin who passed all types of

tests exams and protocol

to get this job in the first place only

to

enact his [ __ ] rage and horror

that we all had to watch derek charvin

who

put his knee on somebody's neck for

over nine minutes derek charvin who

wants his

charge changed

just in case we were unclear on who

derek charvin is well i just wanna

because you you referred to him as a

murderer yeah i was gonna say let's call

him what he

let's call him what he is violent yeah

racist

murderer cowardly

punk yeah i got a lot of other words

no yeah it's some other [ __ ] we could

hit him with the pawn yeah

he's all that was the clean version of

what i wanted to call him i don't i

don't think that he would have been

so manly without his gun or his

trying to uh

introduce legislation that basically

disallows

teachers in the education system from

talking about racial issues and

things of that nature yeah bro in texas

they passed this like 10 years ago

they passed a law where they took the

word slavery out of all the textbooks

it's called indentured servitude they

took the word slavery

out of the textbooks indentured

services servitude and voluntary

servitude voluntaries

i bet yeah so again just imagine if you

did that

over a course of 50 years the word

slavery now

gets erased from united states history

if all the textbooks in all the states

followed suit just imagine

sometimes you get caught so caught up

with living life that you forget about

things that bring you joy and happiness

you forget about the little things

and i went down to the park and it was

empty

and it was totally empty nobody was

happy i went and sat right on the

bleacher

and sure enough four guys came

for spanish guys with all the equipment

on had

multiple balls they look like they

traveled they played organized ball

but i was sizing them up they was on the

side chilling all right cool then four

more dudes came

and then they all played a four on four

and didn't even acknowledge my existence

on the side

they ain't asking me if i was playing yo

you want nog

another 10 minutes

i lost all my friends what else you

gonna do but go to the park and make

some other kid across the bleacher yo yo

uh where he basically said yo uh that

was a teammate of mine

uh clearly i heard his feelings and i'm

man enough to acknowledge when i made a

mistake and say that wasn't my intention

i'm not here to tear down black men

demonize black men or add to anybody's

pain

so i apologize even if he continues

i'm apologizing and that's the end of it

for stephen jackson because that's

commendable

uh that was followed by an apology from

charlemagne and i have that here i'll

you know kwame and his family how many

people were impacted by those things i

was speaking on i mean that's

that's generational okay i caused pain

and unintentionally

heal

and i can't take back those words but i

can't apologize you know i think

talking

and i am a part of that culture let me

there's a lot of people that's trying to

do the gig but don't really know what

comes with the gig

and in that there are a lot of companies

that want to do business with people

that get the gig

but they don't really get the gig i'm

following

part of the gig is sharing your opinion

articulating your thoughts and taking

the heat that comes with that

sometimes the participants in this media

game

it can get heavy charlemagne lost an hbo

deal

academics was [ __ ] fired suspended or

some [ __ ] for saying something about

whatever he went through i won't even

repeat it

i remember that i've gone through my

[ __ ] if you're in this media game you go

through some [ __ ] but that spotify rant

why that moment was heavy for me
