when we pulled up when we pulled up you were sitting outside on the stoop yeah man i've known you a long time i never

pulled up seeing you sitting outside the stoop i was like oh [ __ ] the date is getting closer for my god

these guys outside just having [ __ ] realizations about [ __ ] just thinking about it i was realizing my bagel wasn't

took 40 minutes to get here that's all i was waiting for oh yeah so you still stand like firm in the

marriage decision oh absolutely no code nothing none of that no no no question no question all right this easy decision

it's an easy decision that's dope i figured out i figured out why single

life is tough today i figured it out i'm always interested in this these

um all right where are we starting at where we started how was your weekend i saw you were out being festive

mad dotting around saturday for me nice now

a few things that i learned saturday uh it was angie's annual

barbecue cookout that she does it's normally a big just big function a big party with good vibes uh some

performances normally some spades or something happening so that happened in elizabeth that was an early thing right

okay that was a lot that happened in elizabeth new jersey shout out to elizabeth so i ran over

there thought it around let the streets fill me i saw there was a pool

there was a pool there i saw the pool as well didn't bother to dip my feet inside i don't blame you didn't do it party

pools are nice yeah pool stayed up stayed upstairs you know yeah um but that was really really cool and then

from there i made another little run that we'll get into and that's what we performed at the uh fest uh who

performed dream doll uh french uh capella gray my guys uh

who else who else who else there's a few performances good djs i'm sure good djs good vibes good energy it

was a good day that saturday nice um so i ran around somewhere else after that and then i ran around somewhere

else after that and as i'm thinking about how great the day was i was like yo why was today so great like it felt good to go out with a

destination yeah like a few destinations one and two boy did it feel good to hang out with

people my age that's important i bet it wasn't until i

was in that mix that i was like wait a minute i'm the youngest guy out

i like that nobody's stupid here and if you're stupid like we love you for it yeah we

know we know that you're stupid you're 55 and stupid now so you just appreciate it

yeah yeah we appreciate what come with you yeah yeah and even then you might know how to tone down your [ __ ] like you

gotta control your stupid that was a ice was with me the whole day cause he got to go outside pass from his girl oh nice

man and we'll get into that as well ice was with me the whole day wasn't it boatloads of fun and joy was it just me

no it was if like i haven't been outside in forever me neither and it just felt

good like i don't go out this summer has kind of came and went out no i haven't went out since the summer's over yeah i

saw my first show uh saturday night the first concert i've been to and summer is over 10 years i stopped going out when

my daughter was born straight up anybody that i want to sleep with is getting their kids ready for school

stupid me on the phone yeah when school start again two weeks she said school closure oh yeah yeah it's over it's over

you can't [ __ ] them now what you got to wait till the after

school programs and [ __ ] aftercare yeah yeah you know parents trying to get rid of

the kids oh man look at me having a blast up there i had a lot of fun on saturday it's a little

portable fan a lot of people was outside a lot of people outside i had a mask on

people were like why you got a mask on and you vaccinated guess [ __ ] you [ __ ] just dirty that's why all you [ __ ] is dirty and dingy i've

seen dinged before that's that's why i have my mask on i'm talking [ __ ] today i made a part

no it's it's mass season again oh yeah you know mass back on yeah mask back on no matter what yeah

vaccinated now listen y'all do what y'all want right i'm wearing mine and that's it don't come up to me and tell

me not to wear it cuz i see a lot of little videos going around mind your business i'm on mine that's it

that's it um money power respect the album the whole

album is being played like it just was released yesterday we are the streets was the album being

played like it was just released money power respects the first one that's the one i was talking about all

right so both day albums both of their albums are being played as if they were just released yesterday i

heard the benjamins 300 times on saturday i heard money

power respect more than i've heard it in the last 10 years and people felt good hearing hearing it every time that felt

good to see bro every time it dropped like in the same party [ __ ] crazy

it was like back in blood it was that record um yeah it was live that's though it was

live now the conversation still has not shifted off the locks in general which i i'm here for it's a beautiful

thing i'm still i still i'm still living off of that versus yeah i've seen a lot of people say they watched it mad times

i don't think i ever seen that before yeah [ __ ] said they on a third or fourth watch i want to come in here and just tell the truth about what i really

i mean when is it okay you're not allowed to leave and still what was that what was the example i

brought up i mean if she cheated i suppose that would be a valid reason no that wouldn't be a valid reason if

you're a real negative especially especially if you've cheated if you're a real number you're never going to catch your cheating that's true that's also

true women are good at that [ __ ] no and if you really you're ignoring your girl

that's that's the excuse i don't know what you do on a day to day

i'm following your steps um yeah ice was allowed outside with me and that was a surprise that was like a pleasant spring

we went out all day that came from all day long like sun up to sunday shorty told me

she listened to cause she listens to everything so she was like one of them um patreon episode she was like yo

kind of bothered me a little bit i didn't realize you're under this like you be this stressed out

like i get it you look out for me you look out for the baby look out for your family you work all the time like i i get it so

yeah go out and then she also surprised me she booked me a whole spa day

tomorrow she was like yo listen when you get off it's set up go straight there don't even go home

i took care of everything wow and i was a queen yeah like i got out of the pause please give me give us some claps

give me some collabs and that right there is the problem

day with ice was great for me you were people watching ice i realized yes

like man ice was together all day but we wasn't together all that okay

you know i don't like this narrative because every time we go to these funk i don't leave my house if it ain't the

strip club if we take strip clubs off the planet i don't go nowhere you don't go away right so the one time i step out

it was super i'm mixing yeah but i'd be trying to stand in the corner

i'm gonna give you the truth there was this big ass industrial fan [ __ ] right like to keep all keep the

whole balcony area cool joe went and stood damn near behind the fan you don't know how i'm gonna do anytime

but but energy i attract people they just come over to me even the mary

angie picture that i was cropped out of when they were taking that picture i went to hide behind a fan

and angie said no just one pikmin i mean you and me just one just one just one and i got in there sorry fine and i

looked stupid in the pic then they cropped me out of the pic i was laughing stock of the internet but it was like

i'm not here to take pictures no you definitely well i'm here to be mixie it was even a couple of times i've seen

people ask you for a picture you put the mask back on yeah i was just happy to be out i was just happy to be outside right

but by the time we got to that next function which was beautiful uh uh private private little after get-together pool party [ __ ] right this

is one of the homies the family or something like that of of somebody else but but yeah it was a beautiful beautiful home real good vibe so so this

is why ice is funny see then this one like don't call me up echelon again

we pull up it's beautiful out there mad cars mad people but people that look

like about things yeah people it wasn't people look busy active

right into whatever they're doing that's why i love new york because in most people in new york if you just watch them on the street they're busy doing

whatever they're doing they ain't looking around that's what it was we get in there beautiful blue pool

beautiful blue pool gorgeous beautiful [ __ ] what you i don't even know what you call them shits the [ __ ] lawn the

cabanas the cabanas they had a bunch of bananas and why do cabanas just add sexiness to anything i told joe i said

yo then they tried to take a page out of your book i was like but they ain't got no fire

they haven't fired oh no no no joe said you see all of this there's going to be some fire fighters coming he's like

there's some fire this is my bag

i know the [ __ ] text me like yo i said yo i was looking up there he said ain't nothing really crazy

there's no fire 45 minutes later i've seen belly dancers yeah i don't know whether i didn't know the belly dancers

was coming in it came out the house we was like yo there's belly dancers bam it wasn't my function i'm just saying it was three billion

the dj when we walked in was a violinist

so he was playing your favorite rap instrumental

and killing it to me the music and the words it was a dude or that girl it was a dude it was a dude it was a dude and was

killing it yeah uh a bunch of songs a bunch of songs

bunch of people around this beautiful ambiance beautiful women it's a few celebrities just a nice nice pace here

and ice goes to the bar he gets his little glass of whatever he gets walks back over to monkey my upper

echelon as he calls it sexually it's rose you know puts his pinky up and says

wow i love this violinist

you're from newark sir see but i don't do that to my friends so i just looked at him and said isn't he marvelous

and did a little toast to the glasses isn't he never seen here that was it's remarkable some of the

toast with angie and mary oh no i said

you don't like violence that might be hard with a vibe you know like classy beautiful he was playing

like ice was in there putting on his best little that [ __ ] was doing it man but that's

the last i seen him cause then when the hood [ __ ] start coming in he went over there to [ __ ] with the hood [ __ ] and then those

in there see my hood [ __ ] coming my jersey city [ __ ] came in there oh yeah now we're good yeah i fans walk by them [ __ ]

was doing one might and he said they they was in the studio like drawing a blank and then they went

talking about phil collins heat of the night in the air i mean in the air tonight my bad and that was like the

inspiration for one mic and he said how they just got to it was just crazy yeah

chucky thompson who played everything self-taught uh

just a part of so many different classics i didn't even bother to find out how he passed it wasn't important to me no no

no it wasn't important to me how old was he 53 years old 53 years old

super young super young great loss for the entire music community

prayers thoughts condolences to his fans family and friends of course

was just great to see so many so many legends and and greats pay their respect

and honor honor the right way honor chucky the way he was supposed to be honored

uh for his homegoing uh and that's that that's that on that man chucky thompson

rest in peace we love you thank you thank you thank you that's the biggest thing yes a thank you

yeah like wow that's what quest was saying he was saying he was coming off his first album

uh he didn't do great he wasn't feeling great about himself and and chucky was having all the success in the world

reached out to him to program some drums on a record and he was blown away that he even knew who quest love was and he

said that biggie [ __ ] told me everything about the roots album cuts and you know just just

i always say you never know who's listening like you can make music for a certain

demo but that don't mean that those are the only people that are listening that's right like for biggie to just ring off mad album cuts from the roots

and introduce like that that funneling of energy from the first album too which was not

a big success you know yeah rest in peace rest in peace chuckie thompson this leads me to this leads me to uh

something that i've been meaning to talk about for a few weeks here uh social media disappearances

when when you when you disappear from social media all together

every like everyone like completely going from dark delete pages or just stop posting content both okay both

deleting pages uh no longer posting content not a tweet not a picture

not a not a gamer tag like there are so many different ways uh

via the internet to keep up with people right like that's one of the great things about the internet is that it could just act as a big group text

yeah yeah like people that you don't speak to every day you kind of know that they're all right you can check on them

at your own free will and just know that they're doing well but sometimes and and for me i realized

how important all that phone social media stuff was when uh uh a star this

stolen phone thing when the new york court told me that a stolen phone is grand larceny

because of all the important information that's in the phone right really yes

it's it's too much now people are storing their credit cards all that [ __ ] everything everything is on the phone so

it's a it's a real charge now no matter what the you could have paid 800 700 for your

phone and that was grand larceny it had to be over a thousand dollars but it didn't matter that it wasn't because it was too important right and that was a

few years ago that was at the early the beginning of the decade so your phone and social media and all that stuff became really important uh a few times

where i stood before a judge uh the prosecutor was going to social media he was pulling up tweets and just things

that's what really drove it home to me how important that stuff was right and then you have shows like this is us

and then you have shows like a million little things where on on a million little things season one episode one

is the white guy at work doing work his secretary steps out for a

second comes back and he jumps over the balcony and kills herself

and the person that he was calling his best friend the black guy he didn't answer the phone because he was in the

middle of trying to kill himself swallowing pills his wife didn't know that led to a whole string of events

right so now let's circle this back to social media disappearing acts what do they mean

for me they're triggering for women they just assume you got pregnant

for men and women they mean two different things yeah if you're not a celebrity where you do

the whole i'm deleting [ __ ] and i can put it back up in 30 days my instagram page is back i'm laying low for him and

all of that roll out gimmick [ __ ] when you're like a real person dealing with real things

and you just go away completely am i the only one that pays that type of

stuff any mind is that like but i'm not a big social media dude so i wouldn't that's not you yeah because you're from

a generation where it's just different [ __ ] your age and maneuver that way but today you know we say all the time

you put everything on social media you put what you eat where you go your friends how you feeling what you're listening to what you're watching

everything everything everything so when you go away it's like your journal completely

i got people that i don't speak to but i feel like if they want to know how i'm doing i make it easy to find out yeah

agreed true so when people disappear from social media i'm not talking about celebrities

but when just normal people disappear it could mean

a bunch of things yeah it could it could mean like yeah but i go to one place i go to one place first and you know what

joe i go to one place first go ahead it would also depend on

how active said person was on social media too but if it's a person like if ish disappeared on social media right

now i'm already there so you wouldn't know you wouldn't really you know if i disappear completely on

social media people are gonna think so right like yo you all right like i've had that happen

i haven't tweeted in two weeks and i'll get a text yo fam just i ain't seeing you on the timeline you good

i'll get a dm that'll yo like it'll notify me yo you good just checking yeah but if i reach out to you in that dark

period cause i felt like that let me go dark for a minute it's too much on online let me just chill out a little bit but if somebody yeah recently but if

somebody reaches out i'll let them know i'm alive yeah like i realize i've i've taken an avenue away

of support or a way for people to check on me but when let's say you disappear and then i reach

out now you don't you don't say nothing that should that's kind of an alarm yeah maybe and

maybe and maybe everything about what i'm saying right now was selfish because it's still thinking about me

yeah it's still thick it's still yesterday yes or no yes and no no but it's true because you could still be

thinking about that person like yeah no especially if you might know someone

that maybe has some depression issues or something like that at the end of the summer parks and i'm

certain that there's a stat somewhere to back this up everybody has depression issues yeah because

it's a thing at the end of summer sunday depression yeah they spike they go up

really yeah i thought around the holidays well that's two that too that too i thought around the house yeah

the holidays in the summer holidays for sure for sure both of those things exist so what i'm saying now we had in the

summer i assume people to be going through things see i look forward to the fall

like the fall is my favorite season me too so i can't wait for this hot [ __ ] to be over jazz fly may she rest in peace

when when when she transitioned nobody knew a word nobody knew nothing

that that [ __ ] just shocked the industry

for me i wasn't i'm like huh you left with all of those thoughts

like damn could i have done more could i have reached out what could i have but when people are ready to go

they out they just go i had a friend of mine a friend of mine

uh uh purposely transitioned recently i don't

even say suicide i don't use that term a friend of mine purposely transitioned

maybe a month ago two months ago i didn't tell nobody wasn't for me to say that's one of those private types of you

know but when it happens the the people closest feel like

well [ __ ] i might have missed something i feel like [ __ ] yeah yeah i might you take it you take it hard on yourself like that

maybe i could have done something such and such did reach out to me saying they was going through something

but i didn't pay it much mind it wasn't like serious to me

and then everybody going through their own [ __ ]

right like when you start having kids and work and mortgages and and bills and you just

running dog it's times where i forget to call my mom

you know what i'm saying there's times where i'll be like oh [ __ ] i speak to my mother in a couple days like what the [ __ ] are you doing you know what i'm

saying so stuff like that um life takes over yeah i don't play like that no i got to talk to my mom every single

day this morning shane answered the phone and i blew that blew that [ __ ] she's at a funeral yeah no and i felt that way it's like oh i'm

sorry but no i need to we need to start the day this way no again so again life oftentimes takes over right and so

because you don't really know what somebody's going through

it's not that you're minimalizing them it's just like yo life is kicking my ass and i'm gonna get to them when i get to

them and you forget well that's what i was making earlier about y'all about y'all going

that's me and then you just summed me up like literally i'm dealing with a lot more yeah i just this morning on my way to your

house i was like damn i spoke to my grandmother in like three days that's not me

so i talked to her the way up but but i'm highlighting this stuff because like i said earlier he had to

come on here talking to podcast for his his queen to say oh [ __ ] man he's making some good points he might need a break

he might need some help he might need blah blah blah blah because life i keep talking about how i'm envious of y'all

because y'all come shoot the [ __ ] and then go home to unload or or have somebody that could download off you

like that's that's needed [ __ ] is just going home and getting in bed and turning on netflix and they

so i went to for me right when i see especially with girls right when girls disappear

eight times out of ten is a dude involved like because a lot of times when girls get relationships or pregnancy

girls they just shut out like i'll curse my female friends out like yo fam

[ __ ] is your problem because they'll hit you when a relationship is over and be like whatever homie you're like fam don't do

that like we sincerely friends we not [ __ ] highlight a [ __ ] like yo you good how's your daughter how's your

family like that sincere friendship even if you got a man you should still check in on the [ __ ] that you really are

friends with right so i'll attribute it to that when it comes to my female friends like most times they get a dude

dudes be kind of insecure they go under the radar police but with men

i i check all my [ __ ] you know what i'm saying like i'll just shoot yo what up [ __ ] you good everything all right but

like i speak to you in a couple weeks like i routinely check on my friends and i think that i'm open enough that if

some [ __ ] is really troubling you you could let me know well there's the other side there's the other side like

money bag yo has a lyric and he says i tell everybody i'm good cause what you gonna do if i'm not

that's exactly what i was about to say and that's like like meaning yo it's not true a lot before a lot of like you just

said ish people are dealing with life that's to keep trucking mentality yeah it's like yo my my issue ain't gonna

stop the next man i gotta keep going i agree i got people depending that's how i feel right like we don't have a choice

but to be good keep it moving even if you're not good you gotta you don't have a choice but to be good and and everybody's not

as strong as you and real quick some [ __ ] need advice some [ __ ] need a release some [ __ ] need to get that

whatever they carrying off their chest on to another person but the key is is somebody that

may be able to help you in any way whether it just be some words of encouragement a lot of times that's what i'm

especially today men especially people just want to know your business

no yeah true so it's like if you're dealing with something and you go you know event or whatever the case may be they

ain't really listening to help you listen and as soon as they hang up the phone they're about to call it exactly so a lot of people become more reserved

and you keep more [ __ ] inside and again with men we've been taught as men that any

vulnerability is a weakness that's right right just how to raise their kids my [ __ ] like if a little boy falls on the

ground he scratches his knee little girl falls on the ground and scratches their knee they get two totally different

treatments the little boys told yo get up boy you better not cry take it like a man yep so we

now after you 30 years of hearing take it like a man you start playing sports when you're young you better not show no

weakness no vulnerability playing sports it's funny bernie mac's daughter was just doing an interview saying talking about his heart style of parenting but

just because he was parenting back names yeah and she was telling this story that was real

uncomfortable to hear today about her going to school she was young um grade school and getting in uh

was her and the point she was uh trying to make was for me the point she was trying to make

media is very healthy i think there's no value in this [ __ ] really it's healthy it's healthy it's healthy

healthy if it's healthy true if it's not healthy then it's not healthy like

your body is your body right so some things about your body will never change like conditioning and the things that it

needs if you don't drink water for a certain amount of time some [ __ ] is gonna happen yeah uh for addicts the

second that you get off of whatever you are now is withdrawal time your body was used to and going through it now with

cigarettes right you quit the cigarettes [ __ ] your lungs and your body gotta learn this new way we gotta get all this

cough to flame all of this it's your body is bodying yeah why did i bring this up social media social media yeah

if we're used to waking up social media from dusk to dawn it is an addiction

point too oh it is because it is and it's designed to be that way yeah at another time we'll talk about who

designed the internet that's like a deep dive conversation well social media particularly yeah

but yeah if you're unification if you're used to it then you don't even you can't even picture your life without it

like your body might not your body mind soul spirit might not function the same without it just like with anything else

see the only time i really get breaks from this [ __ ] or back in the day was when i lost my phone like the universe

had to force me into realizing how peaceful it was yeah when i lost the phone that panic left

not a panicky feel no no and that [ __ ] felt good for something to not have that type of control

over you yeah let me that's why we're gonna kick the cigarettes because that's con after you eat you gotta rush over no no

no no no we don't need something to have control over you like that sunday i'm going to find what i'm wearing to your

wedding oh you went outside you could walk sunday yes you couldn't walk for half a saturday i went out i took pictures in my phone so

you want to see the so i'm talking about we're serious we're serious still man all right fine

all right we're being serious they don't like when i joke through serious time so i'm stuck and i just be trying to balance it go ahead i know okay but i

get in the car and i realize oh [ __ ] i left my phone yo that was like the freest i've ever

felt and it was only for like two hours but not having to

check a message check it just nothing no yeah nothing like no accident if you need me if it's

an emergency i'm with sure he'd call her no it's like my family you know everybody call her not for nothing

that's what i really love about the [ __ ] watch is that you can't do [ __ ] on it but someone could still call you or text you so you can still remain in

the context i have this i don't even have the cellular plan i took it off i mean i have the watch but i don't i don't pay for it for the

cellular plan i like having this because i'd be leaving my phone upstairs or in the [ __ ] other basement or whatever

and just go about my day i'll be here and i'll check it in six eight hours yeah see what's going on any

other thing but if there's an emergency i'm here and and the other thing um about going dark social media

and addiction i'm so addicted to opening twitter on my phone

that when i do those times when i take those breaks i have to actually delete the app because my finger

on the unlock goes right there and then now i catch myself open i put another app in this place just to like trick my

brain right but that's crazy yeah it's it's it's learned it's like automatic behavior i swipe up and then i tap right

there where where the tweet logics app usually is it was designed that way yeah yo that's crazy

no no i mean the social media [ __ ] is this it's literally an addiction like yo dawg

you'll grab your phone and check social media before you pray when you wake up like cold still in your eyes where you

gonna watch it wake up thirsty as hell let's go for your phone first literally go for your phone four in the morning five in the

morning you gotta go pee you'll be looking at your phone that's nuts fam yeah

i've started uh turning my phone off at the end of the night just well i have mine on the audio i

know you wanna i live in the other room turn it off i have the automatic um like i have my bedtime and everything

yeah so at 10 15 every night it shuts everything off yeah so even if my phone you text me

whatever call me i'm not my phone's not lighting up so it's at least that much because i

sleep in the dark right so at least i don't have that lighting up just distracting you all

night yeah i don't know who needs to hear this but i love you

comfortable with kicking it with you're important because that's the other thing i realized like

when some of the people you used to speak into pull the disappearing act you don't even have the surrounding

phone numbers to make sure they're okay i don't have your girl's number your mom's number your dad your cousin

step aside cause i'm more of a distraction to what's going on like the world needs to get back i don't want to

inappropriate comments let's stop right there if there if the powers that be are at

play here then we'll save that for another time on this topic of accountability if he did that

then yeah it's time to resign you can't just continue to move up in the ranks if this is how you're behaving

yourself none of us will know but clearly here they say they conducted an independent investigation

unfortunately i'm familiar with those a little bit and you get findings from them mm-hmm

and what they found is there's a pattern or enough that a case can be what's

going on enough that a case can be proven now if that's what happened yeah you're

a hindrance and a distraction to whatever the main objective and goal is and it's time to step down and when you

see your brother you see [ __ ] his brother on tv looking stressed out they're attacking him now

so you got to step down cuomo gotta go and ish is right it was cuomo for president

and this is the result of it but the same thing with tori [ __ ] at the top of the year was territory on live it was he was

i was shocked to see him on cnn with the breaking news during the breaking news conference

and my heart goes out to the the victims in this case my heart goes out to the women don't do it no

what i was shocked at still didn't cop to it like that that

part kind of got me why was he supposed to cop to it

though you got him saying like i don't want to discredit anybody's story i don't want to sound um so accusation is

enough i mean and that's the taboo conversation that's the elephant in the room right none of us was there we don't know we don't have facts we don't we

can't everybody's just speculating unless you you know have knowledge or intel right but other than that the accusation is

enough you can't tell somebody how they feel it's enough to detract uh

opportunities employers uh network it's just enough it's nasty no man wants that on them at all indeed

and you never ever ever escape it like this is going to follow him till he dies of course and my thing is i want to be very

i want to be clear sensitive and careful to not let

to keep this in his proper perspective because we're men right so we're juggling we're

juggling a few things one of them and i'm trying here

and argue that somebody i care for you and the ultimate aliyah will become accessible on october 8th

september 10th and what the elia album the self title one is september 10th what the thought process is to stagger them like that
