i feel like i ain't potted in about a year yeah for real i used to

  • 0:07

say i ain't like this whole damn every couple days we write back i miss this [ __ ]

  • 0:12

that's what happens then every couple days [ __ ] is important i don't really understand i do understand why because potting

  • 0:19

costs but pond once a week do kind of feel like

  • 0:24

i don't like that it don't it don't it feel like cheating yeah feel like cheating

  • 0:31

i'm gonna pause once a week i'm gonna give myself a

  • 0:37

friday off [Music] i'm telling you my thought process in my

  • 0:42

head because that could happen but y'all used to play everybody right yeah a million million moves feels like forever

  • 0:48

a long time ago a really long time ago a really long time how long the pods used to be

  • 0:53

same [ __ ] they've always been kind of long yeah this [ __ ] had to be like three four hours the only people

  • 0:58

but they've always been we've hit four actually we have hit four before but that's when you know you pardon me

  • 1:05

oh my god a four-hour pod is late and that's and that's where you get tricky in your pod career because all

  • 1:12

potters no potter starts out saying i got three hours in the tuck for him nobody starts out santa

  • 1:18

everybody starts out with i got an hour two hours got 90.

  • 1:24

then when money came in they got even shorter i got 30 minutes 45 minutes for

  • 1:30

a 10 episode order of a season i'm gonna do one season a year when money came and it got real tricky

  • 1:36

so we what the hell are you even part about for 30 minutes when money came on topic on topic one topic when money came in

  • 1:42

that's when we did two a week that's when we remember that that's when i started spotify wanted us to do two a

  • 1:49

week in a moment of transparency i was scared to death i was scared to death about

  • 1:55

that that was one of them fork in the road moments like you could say no because you put a lot

  • 2:01

of stress on the team on the audience on you banking on a lot to go right doing that twice a week like you could

  • 2:08

fizzle out now you got to stay hot double the hotness stress

  • 2:13

yeah but we did it and it worked and they still didn't give us a bonus

  • 2:20

you want to talk about stress and pressure me and ish coming in knowing

  • 2:25

what the pod has been having to keep up from two people that's not potting at

  • 2:31

all to twice a week that was pressure yeah that's hard to jump into phil that's a like

  • 2:36

    salute yeah i don't i don't a lot of people fans included don't really realize that [ __ ] was pressure

  • 2:42

especially the way i got the phone call i didn't even know he wanted me to buy it

  • 2:48

no i got a i got a different respect for it i used to just think it was shooting the [ __ ] yeah no which in technicality

  • 2:54

    it is just shooting a [ __ ] it's barbershop talking it's different no it's not after i don't even call it

  • 2:59

no it is initially right if you had to just come up here once or twice it's really shooting the [ __ ] right now when

  • 3:05

you got to come here twice a week you got and you doing patreon [ __ ] right two three times a week yeah

  • 3:12

you gotta keep coming up with fresh topics fresh relevant [ __ ] to entertain the masses that [ __ ] is different and

  • 3:19

you gotta be funny that's nice you gotta be [ __ ] talking [ __ ] you know it's not just a lot of talking

  • 3:24

period original thought no it's a lot of original yeah it's not shooting [ __ ] so again if you had to come up here once or

  • 3:30

twice it's shooting [ __ ] right right if you got to come up here on a twice a week basis and then when you factor in

  • 3:37

    patreon four or five times a week that [ __ ] ain't shooting the [ __ ] no more

  • 3:42

no [ __ ] has been shot and you have to have something to say right i know like because everybody now is just talking

  • 3:49

into a microphone like you have to have everyone has to find their way of disrupting and when you look out there

  • 3:56

that's what's happening people are choosing different methods to go about that we just be working [ __ ]

  • 4:03

we work yeah the other good thing is we all like to talk to each other anyway

  • 4:09

yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah with the cameras off we can sit in here and talk should we do it two weeks hours we do we'll get here and before we start

  • 4:16

we don't sat and talk four hours actually conversations be funnier and better off mic a lot of them and some of the great part about y'all being kind of

  • 4:23

novice novices is y'all keep a hot take in the talk

  • 4:28

y'all keep something in the talk that i know the person y'all talking about is listening

  • 4:34

i know that they listen faithfully and i know how their uh emotional uh palette works

  • 4:42

and y'all [ __ ] be nah i hated him forever yeah he been trashed nah i

  • 4:47

always tell people he's trash like no i don't see and i'd be like ew

  • 5:03

because i know a couple of you entertain there's way more people that don't you right but the people that i speak about

  • 5:08

they know how i give it up and they cool with it they know i'm gonna i'm gonna raise it if it's fire and i'm gonna

  • 5:13

trash it if it's trash back to my lazy rent park's wedding set this off oh yeah

  • 5:20

sorry y'all start with the clap that was the start no no we're just gonna not acapella like soul to soul right now

  • 5:26

like so we got mad music coming sound effects gunshots

  • 5:32

arrow smith everything it's mad [ __ ] coming it's hill but we starting out

  • 5:39

acapella for my god parks wedding set it off i'm up now i'm awake i was in my what's the word lumber

  • 5:47

    slumber not lumber lumber is

  • 5:52

oh okay yeah i was in my slumbers hibernating i was asleep i was in the house

  • 6:00

actually corey set it off corey set it off i gotta i'm giving

  • 6:05

everybody they proper respect today it didn't start with parks

  • 6:10

cory had a wedding to go to before parks's wedding i was watching him run around like a

  • 6:17

madman laughing at him we gonna tell the truth today because

  • 6:22

before your wedding everybody you invited to your wedding hates your wedding

  • 6:29

true i'm just telling you something facts we really love the person that we're going for but when we get the pillow

  • 6:36

talking and just behind the person's back somebody wants to go to your [ __ ]

  • 6:42

wedding give me the book somebody wants to go i was sitting there like this [ __ ] [ __ ] wasn't even thinking about parks as well

  • 6:50

i was [ __ ] really pondering our [ __ ] friendship right checking the weather like oh it's gonna

  • 6:56

    rain [Applause]

  • 7:05

oh [ __ ] i got sick i cannot go i cannot go right but i'm watching doofy ass cory

  • 7:11

run around and he running around with extra vigor like

  • 7:17

he was in that bmw for 13 hour shifts going to different time spots custom

  • 7:23

spot big and tall suit spot this spot i went with him one day

  • 7:28

i was done in five minutes oh y'all ain't got this all right not corey trying [ __ ] on

  • 7:35

[ __ ] learning about his leg size he didn't even he don't even know about his body

  • 7:40

but anyway cory get to the wedding look like a [ __ ]

  • 7:46

yeah he did just say what it looked like i don't know i wasn't here i don't know nobody that was there i'm not affiliated with nobody i never texted on them [ __ ] or

  • 7:53

    nothing it looked like

  • 7:58

    oh he talked about twitter

  • 8:04

it was men my age and up all doing really well for themselves

  • 8:11

look like they made it out of a dark place together with a stash of

  • 8:17

something from back then it looks like they all know where that stash is

  • 8:24

everybody good and they came together to celebrate that and this [ __ ] happened to be getting married too

  • 8:31

and i know all of this without talking to cory about it at all because they went to the wedding and

  • 8:37

    then all the [ __ ] that i follow that's like that

  • 8:43

dave was posting i was like oh [ __ ] you're dead too oh use it oh you know him i know what you're always going to

  • 8:48

do wait a minute you friends with him i'm glad i met you after him like you know

  • 8:54

you start doing all of that right so i'm like oh corey had a blast at the [ __ ] drug dealer gala whatever the [ __ ] they

  • 8:59

had i'm like oh nah that's it now

  • 9:05

all i needed to see parks my man got a wedding coming up next week

  • 9:11

    i'm up now [ __ ] i know i'm calling me some drug deal [ __ ]

  • 9:17

let me start calling around going to the stores and the spots and trying to get my look together

  • 9:23

i'm beefing with chicks while i'm going alone today i'm i'm it's on now it's on now

  • 9:30

i end up just pulling some [ __ ] up close you look good though yeah i said you look good everybody look nice no man

  • 9:36

yeah no no what no listen but anyway everybody look good we're gonna get into every part of this wedding but my point

  • 9:42

is full deep dive yeah full sorry i got 90 minutes two hours of this might be the longest spot ever sorry i'm here to do it um but my

  • 9:50

point is show up to parks wedding it's the best wedding in the world

  • 9:58

straight up why was this the best wedding in the world like i heard i heard is amazing he did

  • 10:05

it none of her no no no no that's literally what i heard no i love it let me introduce you he did it

  • 10:11

that was it yo three three words yo that's all we can say yo now parks did that listen

  • 10:18

he did it he did it i slept i'm coming clean i'm not these other

  • 10:25

dudes i heard some key words before the wedding that got me to worrying and then

  • 10:32

you know what happened parks to be honest you look too cool you was too cool all before the wedding

  • 10:38

yes that played a part in how i felt about yeah the wedding super cool like why he ain't nervous why you don't have

  • 10:45

goose bumps like everything was still perfect between him and his girl i never

  • 10:50

believed none of that [ __ ] every time i asked you i never saw you i was like yo anything yet

  • 10:57

nah good nah he was cool as a fan cool as a fan and and that made me like

  • 11:04

then it was in elmira i don't know where elmira is i don't know where elmira is shout out to all

  • 11:10

the people that's in bliss all the people that got to call a lady shout out to the lady i call the ladies think we

  • 11:16

gonna be good we gonna be good you called the lady this episode is dedicated to love

  • 11:24

we on some love [ __ ] this episode my man did it big valley big parks

  • 11:30

that's the [ __ ] vibe today i'm in celebration my guy did it my guy is

  • 11:36

married round of a [ __ ] claws i am extremely happy for this brother i

  • 11:41

am so proud of him i cried i cried the whole next day

  • 11:47

    [ __ ] i cried nah [ __ ] they thought this is the thing

  • 11:58

i'm just coming out i'm coming down confessing man i'm just getting right to it [Laughter] [Music]

  • 12:05

this park this park what's that this is [Music]

  • 12:18

this is the mistake i made parks and i think people make this mistake a

  • 12:24

lot in in life and your wedding really put that in the in

  • 12:29

the mirror for me right when people are like fixtures in your life like parks is a fixture in my life

  • 12:34

when people are fixtures in your life sometimes you might only see them

  • 12:41

in the as the fixture that they are in your life which is great if that person is

  • 12:48

important to you and you are important to me thank you so and the fixture that you are has always

  • 12:54

been like a really important picture it's a [ __ ] engineer like what are you talking about you're going to see me

  • 13:00

when i'm down you can see me with a [ __ ] up you see when i'm in the studio she's going to it's a brotherhood there and the rapper engineer relationship

  • 13:06

that we don't explore enough right but moving on from that

  • 13:12

at parks's wedding that was able to go away from me

  • 13:18

whatever i knew him know him as our relationship i went in there as a

  • 13:24

complete stranger to the parks the other side

  • 13:30

uh chronology right so i get there

  • 13:36

and parks is a [ __ ] cool white guy is cooling when he's drunk just cool and some people might think

  • 13:41

that he's just cool because he'd be with [ __ ] no no no no no no he's just cool but anyway i

  • 13:49

get there and parks is one of the first people i see looks cool as a fan i'm confused

  • 13:55

i'm like wait wait am i off here a tackle hey man what you doing out here

  • 14:03

yeah he said nah bro that's her gotta hide i'm chilling

  • 14:09

bam parks was just like he was a [ __ ] man wow whoa

  • 14:14

let her stress i'm with my friend fam i pull up parks is standing with a

  • 14:21

couple of his peoples like he was a guest at the wedding like he's like us yeah man hollow just put it in the cup

  • 14:33

looking down on us like haha we were celebrating it was like a beautiful [ __ ] moment he was chilling out cool

  • 14:40

right but this is the joe experience at the park's wedding not about him right now

  • 14:46

i'm watching all the people now parks people's their own time is elmira's now mind you i had a beautiful drive up

  • 14:53

it's nice did you go through the poconos and all that i did i think i did yes i think i did that's right

  • 14:59

whatever route we went through i was awake though it was beautiful and nice scenic

  • 15:04

peaceful and i'm a car ride dude i'm a road trip dude i had a little bag this was a vibe put

  • 15:10

the music on and that was the end of that but we got there right parks is out there it's [ __ ] beautiful in my

  • 15:15

experience i'm seeing all these white people all these white people everybody's cool cool white people but as the night

  • 15:22

progressed i get to profiling the people

  • 15:28

that's not true i'm profound to people i'm in the wedding

  • 15:37

would you want me to lie no

  • 15:44

profound the people at the wedding you got to do it at the wedding hey if i'm seeing two younger white guys that look like they

  • 15:51

was in music at one point oh those are the guy that parks was in a band with at some point in his life i could guess

  • 15:57

that i could just guess and see hey the one dude over there that i thought might have been a little crazy i was like oh

  • 16:03

okay that's the childhood crazy friend i know that i know that i know this person everybody has this person yeah so it was

  • 16:10

good to to see familiarity in

  • 16:15

our chronolog what chronology chronologies that's what i'm trying to say it was

  • 16:20

good to see and that's what hip-hop does so now i'm emotional because this [ __ ] white boy has the

  • 16:26

same story and i'm seeing it on full display at a wedding oh look at this [ __ ]

  • 16:33

[ __ ] outfit oh yeah you was the third best rapper in the crew [ __ ] i could

  • 16:38

tell i'm in there having a blast in my head right but at some point as the

  • 16:43

night is going on as the night is going on before the wedding after the wedding now get into my [ __ ] stories but it's not about that it's about the stories i

  • 16:49

was getting it's about the stories i was getting it kept coming up to me

  • 16:55

thanking me like i did something i ain't do nothing but it was the humility it was that same humility that

  • 17:03

exists in you and they was all just gracious

  • 17:08

to the two of them [ __ ] i was trying to run away from they was following me all around super

  • 17:13

cool guys shout out to them we smoked a cigarette together but as i was running away i was cornered by this white girl

  • 17:19

she had me trapped blocked away in front of me i said [ __ ]

  • 17:24

i tried to escape she said joe hi

  • 17:30

i'm such and such i don't know any of your music i don't know any hip-hop music

  • 17:37

i don't know anything about your life at all and i'm gay i only want to dick from you

  • 17:44

but i listen to the podcast and you help me and i can't help but imagine

  • 17:51

how many people you and parks and the rest of the guys and everybody up there helps people

  • 17:57

throughout the world like me this little white girl from elmira who's in the

  • 18:03

lgbtq community that's not too familiar with you but i listen to you and something resonates i listen to

  • 18:09

y'all and though yes a group of guys she gives me that whole spiel thug tears i'm

  • 18:15

    like that word nah nah

  • 18:20

guess i see what you're saying hey that was a heat that was it was sweating a little bit

  • 18:25

she did that [ __ ] why did she do that don't do that man

  • 18:32

now i'm crying right in front of the dudes i was trying to escape but i'm crying and it was a lot of those

  • 18:39

conversations there right and i'm looking at people look at you with their respect and their

  • 18:45

admiration and they're all just so extremely happy for you and this is before we even get to the fact that

  • 18:50

everyone thinks you actually found the partner that's perfect for you we ain't even get to that yet like this is amazing to me watching this [ __ ] in full

  • 18:57

effect at this [ __ ] wedding that i thought i didn't want to go to but now i don't want to leave so now we got a problem that's hard

  • 19:04

now we got a problem not leaving this [ __ ] at one point these spanish chicks are going to start talking to [ __ ] in here

  • 19:11

hey at some point this music is gonna come on if she's drinks he's gonna get thrown that patron gonna kick it guess

  • 19:17

what buddy i ain't the only one enjoying these little meatballs at some

  • 19:22

point get full feeling good and sure enough that is what happened but i mean

  • 19:29

just to be able to see i don't wanna i don't wanna get too much i don't even wanna cry here but to be able to see

  • 19:35

the role that you played in everyone's life from elmira that was at your

  • 19:40

wedding from parents to sisters to nieces to it's like like i was even

  • 19:45

crying in like my little brother's 13. like they coming up that age i think it's not my birthday now hey dad we're

  • 19:51

gonna get over birthday gift like we're there in the family yeah so when your

  • 19:57

family is like hey i'm parks nice but you're grown like you understand like hold up parks ain't just mixing records

  • 20:04

dog whoa huh and then the same things i'm going

  • 20:09

through like now you kind of going through so at the end of the night i'm doing all of this observing and i'ma shut up because i want to hear from you

  • 20:14

at some point even though you should not even talk you should be free to just [ __ ] rub your knees today surprise you even here

  • 20:22

but anyway uh damn what was i just about to say you said the end of the night he was observing everything and correlation to

  • 20:28

your own life oh end of the night well no not the night but toward the end

  • 20:34

of my stay parks come sit down with me it's one of the older white guys we just chilling

  • 20:40

premiums we don't get this point itself it's a blast in here i ain't even get into why this was such a blast but it's just a blast so far

  • 20:46

and parks are down and we just get to talking and we just just get to having to talk about

  • 20:52

    elmira and [ __ ] going on in elmira just other [ __ ]

  • 20:57

not even the music [ __ ] hey this is what this is what real estate is out here this is what is going on out here this was and

  • 21:04

yeah like i might want to do something out here he said that [ __ ] no he said that [ __ ]

  • 21:12

you're not feeling me yet yeah he said it cool

  • 21:18

but he said it and what i heard was like something i never heard i heard

  • 21:24

something like i heard that i can do it that's what i heard

  • 21:31

in real time at a wedding and then i said

  • 21:38

this [ __ ] do it [Laughter] oh [ __ ] he could why couldn't he you can he

  • 21:46

couldn't do it and then i just spent the rest of night thanking god i'm looking up i'm looking at in i'm

  • 21:51

looking at ice i'm looking at rem rem's friends the spanish dope boy [ __ ] that wanted to say something but

  • 21:57

wanted to let me know they might [ __ ] me up if something went wrong i've been there

  • 22:03

i've been there before dude loosen up [ __ ] take that [ __ ] tie off before i come over here drinking champagne

  • 22:10

    but everybody was

  • 22:25

and this is why it's important i'm you you're talking to a guy that has walked out of weddings

  • 22:30

we let me make myself clear i'll walk out your wedding if it's trash

  • 22:37

i'm not staying keep the sea bass

  • 22:42

you [ __ ] give me the pre-fixed menu no no i'm leaving i'm i'm leaving yo your

  • 22:48

dj ain't really the littest i'm leaving yo your crowd is whack i'm leaving yo your bartender's wack i'm leaving

  • 22:55

there's a lot that could go wrong parks hit this [ __ ] out of the park she had a big wedding that was intimate

  • 23:01

right 200 plus he had a big wedding that was into that's tough from the rip in a big

  • 23:07

venue it was very spacious three or four different spots we didn't even talk about the thing they were

  • 23:12

great come on man yeah come on you did that top of the hill looking over the whole

  • 23:18

city when me and corey got in the car to head to the wedding the wedding party that was downstairs to go to another

  • 23:25

wedding they wanted to come to our wedding they wanted to get in with us

  • 23:30

they said that set it off too they let me know y'all see trash oh wait you're wearing that's what y'all

  • 23:36

help move my guy up the street i said so how far is the wedding he said three minutes

  • 23:43

say less i won't even play a song we get there he's got a big wedding but it's intimate

  • 23:49

cool it's got a photo booth set up right there the venue is beautiful it's on the mountain i'm looking at jesus he's looking back at me i'm like oh [ __ ] god

  • 23:56

might be a woman what's going on like it's a lot going on up there [ __ ] is taking pictures the table is just

  • 24:01

beautiful nobody's sitting at him see that's the thing about a white wedding see [ __ ] i have people sitting down

  • 24:06

[ __ ] up the little the little showing is that we [ __ ] samia's wedding up we sat down

  • 24:12

i'm telling you from experience all that [ __ ] was beautiful the friends was beautiful parents was cool parks was

  • 24:19

cool rim is cool dj's cool food is cool everything is cool man this is about work that's your worst wedding the first

  • 24:25

song was cool aerosmith are you trying to make me cry in here again let's get to it then boo hoo boo hoo

  • 24:30

the dance was great i told parks i even like both of the best man speeches i like the

  • 24:38

i like the order of the speeches the first best man got up there and said i was born with parks he's born together

  • 24:44

that's my brother that's the end four or six days apart know what i heard i heard him say y'all don't have to say

  • 24:50

nothing else salute you got it dawg and then he left

  • 24:56

and then brian gets up there and starts talking out yeah when parks got to new york it was lit

  • 25:02

it's like up it's covered birth

  • 25:07

new york yeah past present so now i'm stuck thinking about how this dude is tall white dude from elmira could have

  • 25:15

gotten to new york and lost yeah and failed and fell flat on your

  • 25:22

[ __ ] face like most people do we see him come to new york and do it we see him go to la and do it we see [ __ ]

  • 25:27

think they ready for prime time and get to the big city and it ain't quite that you're not really him yet

  • 25:33

right got me to how i felt about parks when i met him i hated parks

  • 25:38

wasn't the best engineer for me but learned from a dude that was ill

  • 25:45

he got ill then the clientele got ill and maybe the money didn't get ill yet

  • 25:51

but who i'm working with got iller and iller and now i got my own artist and that got iller and iller oh [ __ ] the pod

  • 25:57

worked out i'm on a mic here we iller and iller and now everything's ill

  • 26:04

dope it's a beautiful thing it's beautiful when it's true it's beautiful when that's really the

  • 26:11

essence of it like social media been around i got the alert the other day felt like

  • 26:18

a piece of [ __ ] told me i've been on instagram like 10 years now some [ __ ] or almost 10 years like cool all right

  • 26:23

twitter i knew i was there from the start but whenever when i was an instagram grandfather that was helpless

  • 26:30

but my point is it's been there long enough many of us have we've been there when it was weird to meet women there

  • 26:37

yeah we've been there for follow trains titty tuesdays we was there when all of

  • 26:43

us was ignorant and stupid a lot of y'all try to act like y'all wasn't there for that part

  • 26:50

    i think did you a lot of y'all made friends lost friends [ __ ] went to jail [ __ ] killed [ __ ]

  • 26:58

[ __ ] scamped in a 10-year sample size we we've all watched each other is what

  • 27:03

i'm saying that's what i'm saying we've watched each other so to watch

  • 27:09

that movie and it be from somebody that you was there with and that you love and that you care

  • 27:14

about and that you respect and that you know respects the craft and the culture and just everything has has added

  • 27:21

respect and just value to all of this different [ __ ] that i've inserted them into

  • 27:28

like you've been inserted like you've been inserted like you've been inserted like everybody in video village has kind

  • 27:34

of been inserted at some way one or the other eric's saying no you still be working all this time later

  • 27:39

he's still trying to leave [Laughter] see all that [ __ ] we had to do for him back there make it pretty

  • 27:46

split the screen give his own little space yeah the truth

  • 27:55

but i'm just saying that that's what i was stuck with at this wedding i spoke to parks parents

  • 28:00

more of the same everybody i spoke to they're more of the same like what else could be said now i'm looking

  • 28:06

for a wedding somebody need a wedding to god somebody better get a wedding popping now i'm the wedding hopper

  • 28:13

that did it why was lord finesse and that was full circle for me by the

  • 28:19

way lord finesse the person that kind of taught me how to rap his name is dutch

  • 28:24

that's lucky's brother uh and lucky is darian's brother darion was murdered i

  • 28:30

rapped about it and blood on the wall and dutch i might have never rounded about but i love you rest in peace dutch

  • 28:35

favorite rapper was lord finesse okay so of course my intro to music is

  • 28:40

[ __ ] digging in the creation lord finesse that's why it's funny that ian and preem and [ __ ] [ __ ] and this and his and parks and that was his it's all

  • 28:47

funny like do that so that's what i was sitting there with

  • 28:52

at the table eating the meatballs when laura finesse was getting ready to dj but it was a scary moment for me because

  • 28:59

i love lord finesse and i know that's fan and prim is here maybe this is a fam higher

  • 29:06

maybe about to get up there and [ __ ] big l me to death no sir no sir

  • 29:12

buddy he's small musicians bro bro no i'm stupid and they oh i was stupid i'm

  • 29:18

stupid no no no i'm stupid me too i didn't expect that i wasn't ready for that

  • 29:24

    but all them

  • 29:34

look we were still inside i didn't know because laura finesse to me was just always one of the greatest rappers right i didn't expect it i didn't put him i

  • 29:40

never never said dee knight was one of the greatest rappers ever right i never said that fam we still inside eating and

  • 29:45

he's set just starting right the three of us we just no no you yo yo

  • 29:50

    wait wait wait hold up

  • 30:00

he's killing it off the rip yeah it wasn't a warm up all right let me try no he came out the gate no i looked to the

  • 30:06

side i thought the opener was on show oh [ __ ] the opening about the whip finesse but this opener is making it hard for

  • 30:13

finesse but that was finesse no opener i got this it don't matter nobody's gonna dance well i got this and he smoked it

  • 30:20

he smoked it i'm gonna make y'all get up no and it that that's what happens and they got in and they got out there

  • 30:26

they gotta know they're not gonna say they went down to applause for the job that lord finesse did the job that dj camille did yeah premium

  • 30:33

started getting on the mic and doing yeah the emcee and i don't think i ever saw that

  • 30:38

that was crazy that was ill he was killing it though yeah he was he brought a different energy automatically i mean

  • 30:44

the music was already killing but then you get up there talking [ __ ] and it was you you seen vanessa dj

  • 30:50

before yeah yeah i'm sure parks has yeah but this is my thing with preem even and maybe i'm just a over analyzing virgo

  • 30:57

i know preem to be print so my entire life prim has been pretty

  • 31:03

he's been great my brain is already structured to say

  • 31:09

this person is great at everything got it and primus and hip-hop

  • 31:16

so preeminent when i'm hearing you on illmatic okay i get it i'm hearing you i'm ready to die i get it i'm hearing

  • 31:23

you in all my favorite albums so i get that side of you and

  • 31:28

that's where i know you to be great here i saw preem

  • 31:34

be a 50 year old man that off the turntables

  • 31:41

and off of a beat machine watch how i controlled this

  • 31:46

to people who have no idea who i am probably like they don't know my greatness that was the ill part that was

  • 31:52

the ill part like he made he left an impression 70 year olds while preem was rocking

  • 31:59

smelling toasting he went over to him danced with him yeah he

  • 32:05

his suit was sweating at one point this was a different function

  • 32:11

no he really controlled that crowd i hope i'm saying this to the i never give a [ __ ] if y'all understand but i hope

  • 32:17

i'm painting so that you just understand but if you've been to a wedding like a good one with like one of your good good

  • 32:22

people you should have made these these note these realizations had these

  • 32:27

feelings come up that it was deep for me it was d for me it really had me sitting there questioning my [ __ ] failed

  • 32:33

relationship history like wow wow nah that'll do it that'll do a good wedding

  • 32:39

a good with two people like that seem like yo they just super duper happy oh you'll be looking at yourself like i'm a

  • 32:45

    [ __ ] nut ball i'm a failure i'm a piece of [ __ ] best couple

  • 32:51

40 something year old loser all right it's not you what do you mean us you

  • 32:56

well on your way to marriage i said we all sit at i don't like it i'm gonna try to ruin that one

  • 33:03

you can't no now you can't everybody else could go get married have fun

  • 33:09

you never that it's us out here not before you us out here forever not before you oh forever [ __ ] oh it's just

  • 33:16

happening forever for life bad boys for life

  • 33:27

when the check was right they made him a martin make up so fast oh man i was still stuck on give it to

  • 33:34

him right after the time serving now pronounce you husband and wife what drops over the speakers

  • 33:45

hold up hold up no he didn't yeah yeah i'm not even gonna say it you found it a monster

  • 33:52

yeah we didn't do no traditional weddings we nothing traditional first of all what did you walk down to although moment of truth the just the

  • 33:58

violins though from gangstar's moment of truth that you see she had uh yeah i loved it uh she found like a bad bunny

  • 34:04

cover that someone did on a violin so she wanted to do that for her [ __ ] so i was like what am i doing i was like oh

  • 34:09

did he do a gangster one i was like [ __ ] i just use a sample that's pretty for the instrumental fair

  • 34:14

looped it up so now they at the altar okay

  • 34:20

now pronounce you husband and wife you may kiss the bride they kiss throw their hands up and you're here

  • 34:29

i kid you not yo [Music] joe am i lying

  • 34:34

not at all no it was the most hip-hop [ __ ] i ever saw in my life

  • 34:40

bam we all just stared at each other froze me joe e that's funny son hurry my girl

  • 34:47

we looked at each other like no they didn't oh that's funny no they didn't no listen-ish it's him it came on yeah no that's

  • 34:53

really him that's him it came on i tried to hate i've tried to find some

  • 34:59

hate by the time kanye was in heaven i said

  • 35:05

oh [ __ ] parks money is right oh [ __ ] i said oh whoa oh oh wait parker oh he's

  • 35:12

not done no he's not finished

  • 35:25

[Music] in the grass with the whole city below you looking up and that comes over i

  • 35:31

thought we was the dru we was the drug dealer i thought i thought we was ozark it was just different drug dealers

  • 35:39

was a wire he was the ozark boys fresh

  • 35:47

    [Music]

  • 35:57

so now we get ready to leave give it to him serve him up i'll go over to the parks and room you know congratulate him

  • 36:02

again i said all right look man it's about 10 30 11 o'clock i guess i said yeah we can get out of here i'm

  • 36:08

gonna go back to the room take a nap take this three-hour drive back what does park say nah never that

  • 36:15

we got the crib around the corner we're not the after party is at the crib after the show fam

  • 36:21

i'm i'm like yo it's 11 o'clock what do you mean afterwards early that's the start time we got all the liquor we got

  • 36:27

food all right it's looking like this his wife is spanish he's a cool yeah

  • 36:33

i didn't put two and two together at the moment drunk white with spanishes

  • 36:38

    this is

  • 36:53

the hotel is three minutes away from from the thing he set it up love love [ __ ] he put it by the rim if any of us

  • 37:00

could get some ass oh yeah it was right there we could it was right there there was another way the hotel three minutes

  • 37:05

away the crib three minutes away so it ain't even like you drunk and you gotta make no you gotta make sure hey we

  • 37:11

had the bus i know you hit the bus and they had the bus say yo the bus is gonna shuttle you back and forth all night wherever you wanna go oh my god we

  • 37:17

talking about money right you spend some spanking a couple dollars a little something something else left pocket it

  • 37:22

wasn't crazy though that's the beautiful thing about it it was elmira yeah yeah it was still crazy

  • 37:30

no doubt but it wasn't but but see how my result from fans are three hour

  • 37:35

i'm out if i could get the deal three hours this way i'm i'm i'm there

  • 37:41

i know what some people up here are dealing with that booked weddings and yeah and now the coverage and the

  • 37:46

waiting list and the back order and i know what's going on so if you could drive that way if it's close enough for

  • 37:51

your people to get to uh that wasn't true it still felt like we was away and it's the airport there so people like finesse

  • 37:58

flew in like certain people flew in like you could wear rochester no elmore there's an airport

  • 38:06

    [Laughter]

  • 38:14

nah that [ __ ] was different bro if i was there with a girl i would have had a different that would have been a different experience that was that was a

  • 38:19

lot of fun that would have been set up the way it was supposed to be but listen that was that was terrific i didn't leave the after party till

  • 38:26

about three in the morning and they were still rocking oh yeah he was up till six at this point in the pod i'm certain

  • 38:31

that the listeners are saying yo dog joe and ice shut the [ __ ] up if the groom is right there

  • 38:38

no i like hearing from y'all you know what i'm saying i've been recapping it all weekend it's fun hearing it from y'all

  • 38:43

it's more fun here well yeah my my experience i i enjoyed all your people i enjoyed all the stories

  • 38:49

i enjoyed just all of my thoughts that day and honestly that it really just kicked off

  • 38:55

my weekend like the day before that i went to toy's little shindig she's going away so she has some people over i mean

  • 39:01

a little going away parties outdoors so that was pretty cool we celebrated her uh saw a lot of people that i didn't see

  • 39:08

in a long time got to your wedding celebrated you and rem celebrated love [ __ ] got in the car was listening to

  • 39:14

the music it just was um steady by and then it was raining all forever yeah

  • 39:19

it was raining hard rain with your nutty [ __ ]

  • 39:25

god talks to me this [ __ ] god talks to me corey who how do

  • 39:30

you think the planets got here the mexico who you think

  • 39:35

because how does he how did the atheists think the star who made who made a star

  • 39:41

like i just have really simple questions for these atheist [ __ ] they believe in the big bang

  • 39:46

what big bang made us what star blew up it was just an explosion out of nowhere who made the explosion

  • 39:53

who made the things that made something all goes back to something all right going back to this way you know

  • 39:59

where was we at in the wedding oh man i was just i'm just i'm blown away yeah i was blowing i'm pushing it away and now

  • 40:05

i need to be at another wedding someone has to get married someone has

  • 40:10

to find love and do it right spend the money do what you got to do set the vibe set the vibe you see what shorty said

  • 40:17

like she doesn't want that type of she don't want a big wedding and then joe's like nah [ __ ] yeah you gotta have one i gotta talk to you now he wants to talk

  • 40:22

to her to change her mind you know because he wants another wedding to go it's a lot of work doing a big wedding i'm not going to lie but it was totally

  • 40:27

worth it she don't know it was totally wrong i'm glad she don't want it i think i'm getting cool enough with your girl to be like an influential force in the

  • 40:33

relationship that's my that's my favorite yo that's not your favorite [ __ ] no like

  • 40:39

when you can say something and it might i mean it might it might sway something look at this [ __ ] yo i don't know man

  • 40:47

your girl is flying this won't bring his girl around yeah this guy's listen somebody got to get married

  • 40:52

his first we first started learning how to make beats yeah yeah yeah joe what should have came out the party see the

  • 41:05

studio up there and all that [ __ ] yeah yeah but you know what's funny about that i'm glad you said that when i got

  • 41:11

home i said to myself i'm mad i didn't stay to see the attic because i wanted to see it yeah but i

  • 41:18

had so much fun in elmira i bet you i'll go back to that attic

  • 41:23

i could see that happening oh no that drive fam family parks would just say you're having something tomorrow i'm out

  • 41:30

i mean we might make it some annual [ __ ] that won't be that but

  • 41:35

    because truthfully too if i'm oh [ __ ] i guess toy's right i'm a little boozy now

  • 41:42

i'm a little bougie a little bit no and if i'm not i like the boujee hotel i got to find a bougier oh no

  • 41:49

there's fly airbnb's but all the uh wedding parties had to be in them shits and [ __ ] see that's all yeah

  • 41:55

if i have a flyer something i may stay my hotel i could smell the water in the carpet okay

  • 42:02

every time i walked out my room to do something a black guy from the other wedding party saw my room and saw me

  • 42:10

like my experience yeah the airbnb at the uh the bridesmaid stadium was fly

  • 42:15

fly super nice look like a luxury new york apartment yeah i know the girls had a blast yeah

  • 42:21

yeah who didn't have a blast i was going to say everybody there had to be people yo

  • 42:26

the way you are describing it like i was at the crib

  • 42:34

even even the people from the venue was coming up to me the next couple days like i've never seen that many different

  • 42:39

types of people and not had no types of issues everyone was polite cool no one gave us a hard time fam i was when we

  • 42:45

was at the house i'm seeing like i guess childhood friends and [ __ ] that was coming up mad

  • 42:51

late just coming to the crib oh yeah cool as hell like just or some regular [ __ ] like i'm just coming here to kick

  • 42:56

it with you i i wasn't there but i'm here for this just being cool everybody was cool it

  • 43:27

like 17 of you [ __ ] well they all know parks

  • 43:32

ain't but thirty thousand people that parks is the man no he the man no [ __ ] you know how it is when

  • 43:37

you're from the small town and then you go to the big city and make it and then come back and visit and then you do some flash [ __ ] at home

  • 43:44

like it ain't like he just came back like the place where the wet and what they was explaining to me that big reef yeah it's like they light it up at

  • 43:50

christmas time and the whole city looks up at it it's like y'all version of rockefeller center yes yeah i guess it would be this hell

  • 43:57

fam they renamed it to parks parks

  • 44:03

davis was like what was that music i was playing last night that [ __ ] sounded great these are like people that live in the hill in the country and [ __ ] yeah

  • 44:10

they don't know there's a little baseball field like two miles away they said they could hear it all the way down there hell ah that [ __ ] was there oh man

  • 44:17

hey you're bummed you're still rapping with your money here come give me some

  • 44:43

money to play poker you're bummed you know just [ __ ] like that shut up granddad uh

  • 44:49

so now it's like i look up sometimes be like you see it

  • 44:55

you see it you see it you see it you see it no you get you get that you get that

  • 45:01

joy and yo i seen um i seen oh but the point of me bringing

  • 45:06

it up was to say the fact that for parks to be able to be celebrated in the now

  • 45:11

by all of his rights they get to see it they don't have to imagine nothing

  • 45:17

they get to see it like for me and then i'll get off of this mushy stuff i don't want to make nobody cry i hit a pod today i told you

  • 45:22

i feel like i've been a while um my brain i just been stuck at home with my own thoughts and i don't think that's fear of me

  • 45:27

like i have to tell y'all some of the stuff i've been thinking um but yeah back to being that that age group in uh

  • 45:35

like when you your turn in the escalator is going up the family tree right granddad left you up son's getting older

  • 45:42

kids right so so you get that moment when like i watched my mom take care of her mom on the way out

  • 45:48

like show up like show up soldier style stuff that [ __ ] hospice could be there i'm there 24 7. her network of people

  • 45:54

showing up holding that down watch my dad do the same thing with my granddad

  • 45:59

then why am i bringing this up right now all right why don't you start talking about how uh

  • 46:05

your family oh wait wait the the family tree the family tree uh the escalator the escalator right so you watch those

  • 46:11

things and you hope to only be strong enough to emulate it

  • 46:18

right because they held it down like you hope to be at a place in life where you can be that

  • 46:24

person when it's your turn yes so maybe when that starts to come a little earlier

  • 46:30

it could get spooky if you follow me like do you follow what i'm saying one thousand percent yeah yes

  • 46:36

i watched my dad kick in for his dad i'm sure he was doing it the whole time but

  • 46:41

toward the end i really saw it kicking the overdrive like did it like oh [ __ ] this is real [ __ ]

  • 46:48

like can i do that can i drop will i be at a point in life where i'll be able to drop everything in

  • 46:53

my life because you'll want to do that of course of course but will you be able to they just did it i think you would of course but now but

  • 47:01

now look park sits down at the end of the wedding says yo i i could envision this in elmira

  • 47:07

and that's can happen in like the foreseeable future for parents and like that time has come like i'm doing [ __ ]

  • 47:14

for my mom we fighting over [ __ ] toilets to buy and all types so you know what's going on over there but it's like i'm there i never envisioned

  • 47:21

that right like i bought my dad a car two years ago like for his brother never envisioned like your time it's your turn

  • 47:28

you're going up buddy it's your time so while that's beautiful and it should be celebrated it can be scary i want to

  • 47:35

highlight that for you that was super scary that's the scariest part of life right now

  • 47:40

like i'm looking at parks parks is married yeah word [ __ ] we oh

  • 47:46

no no you know you're not feeling no i'm just saying but that's a progressive wedding right and i didn't see rim too much

  • 47:52

nor did i want to really speak to rim too much like on wedding day like

  • 47:58

do you think i'm trying to stay out yeah dude she was the opposite though because i i we spoke to him a lot

  • 48:04

i know you all know her dick she was really

  • 48:10

cool yeah yeah like she but that's your job though like you got to make everybody feel comfortable

  • 48:16

and show your ground around and she she changed she was like yo this is my third fit she just kept running around saying

  • 48:22

yo i'm a whole ass wife now i was like yo well that's what i was getting into the

  • 48:28

one little interaction i had when i was going to the meatballs again for like the

  • 48:46

[ __ ] so i see rim and i looked and i don't know what to say to a girl

  • 48:52

    just got married you [ __ ] blitz you're happy you're in love i'm a piece of [ __ ] alone

  • 48:57

i say hey how is it how you feel

  • 49:03

that's what i could muster up and she said dawg i'm a whole ass wife

  • 49:10

she was so chill my whole life i was like yo you gotta you're right

  • 49:19

that's it that's all the women be wanting yo that small [ __ ] all it it's small but

  • 49:25

    it's it encapsulates a lot a lot around that it's weighted that's weighted yo i'm a whole wife it's

  • 49:30

weighted to the women community man rim told me to change my change your name

  • 49:35

which i did i sent you to you she's like yo save him under rim's husband oh i got to

  • 49:40

do too now your name and my phone is rim's husband now you know it's like she's like send it to him mr rem

  • 49:47

that's it now sorry that's it it has to be this way but you know who's that you know cool one other person yo

  • 52:00

nah he was actually kind of smooth he was on his photographer bag he was taking it serious because i felt i felt

  • 52:06

the way like i've done that for too many exes where the relationship didn't work

  • 52:12

for me to not do it at my man's wedding let me go hide in the bush bend down get

mad when i came into work today and i was in a beautiful mood but i came into work today i've seen parks i dapp it up

  • 54:09

with him uh and then i see save on bothering parks about things

  • 54:15

like i know that it's a work day we're in parks his crib he's the engineer so normally you have to talk to parks about things i know you've done that for three

  • 54:21

four years however long you've worked there you've been here for a while too it's like family i have to remember that part

  • 54:27

[ __ ] this [ __ ] creep in and stick around for four or five years sometimes you just gotta recognize the

  • 54:32

    time that's the passage like oh [ __ ] this nigga's a man now nigga's 30 something

  • 54:39

but anyway he bothering parks about [ __ ] say yo dawg smack the [ __ ] out of you

  • 54:45

what are you doing joking to say vaughn clan out there he got a hive even see [ __ ] be right you

  • 54:50

get a hype hey hey leave parks alone save vaughn

  • 54:56

  • 55:02

fiji get to the door move after my wedding

  • 55:08

i'm gonna talk about the water yo the same way you plant the wedding yeah i see it's important to plan the week

  • 55:15

after the wedding too now we got a plan we didn't do a great job with that well we got

  • 55:24

i didn't want you to either because i didn't want to talk about your wedding without you yeah it wouldn't have been this i could probably facetime resume i was

  • 55:29

like i don't want to do that i want to not hear what y'all saying you know what i mean

  • 55:35

    [Music]

  • 55:42

like over his head that's just the uh alcohol from the past week still hovering

  • 55:55

what you gonna do different on your wedding day like you're gonna give them a different look like a different something caesar some tape of the

  • 56:00

science again even more extra taper a wedding day taper no you're gonna die to graze in your beard

  • 56:06

anything no you're not even at that point in the relationship right where you think about that stuff just chilling bro just me

  • 56:13

oh you're at that point super cool no

  • 56:18

yo so what do you think if bob got married in puerto rico

  • 56:25

would you be mad at mom at that point you know you'd be a boyfriend you gotta ask without asking you're not there yet

  • 56:31

oh man hey yo fam could you roll over roll off of me all right go ahead we're going we're gonna cheers

  • 56:38

it up one time for parks man take it up one time man parks and rooms

  • 56:45

[Applause] great weekend thanks everybody who

  • 56:51

helped out and came and um shout out to a man is that he looked out

  • 56:57

    [Applause]

  • 57:10

know no but he was there for the struggle so he could do it he could talk dope no [ __ ] you stepped in the money you

  • 57:16

can't keep saying it you came that [ __ ] came in when it was

  • 57:21

    you stepped into a tax problem [ __ ]

  • 57:36

i have been in this position long enough that i know the head cracker when it come now

  • 57:42

i'm cool with the head crack now because the head crack coming means that you're doing something right in america

  • 57:48

now you don't like the system and the infrastructure that america has set up because you learn to scam every step of

  • 57:54

the way but you get it all right so when when you've been known to look for your little

  • 58:01

loopholes and scam your way through it no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no listen to what

  • 58:08

i'm saying i know what you're saying go ahead i'm gonna let you finish because i'm gonna step on that [ __ ] like a like a

  • 58:13

i don't even step on roaches i love it just hear me hear me out i'm talking about real life when

  • 58:19

i love when i'm [Music] where the roaches could come from the

  • 58:25

hole like wait why do you all have a tunnel mad ways to get in my kitchen i'm leaving

  • 58:31

listen i didn't kill all of them i left that's what i'm saying

  • 58:38

every spring the ants just line up and dance in the house it's like all right i'm out go ahead ice

  • 58:43

well you're used to looking forward to tax season because you know oh you're getting your little refunds

  • 58:50

you know all that's coming but then you start to learn what's about to happen hey pally welcome

  • 58:56

yeah it's like oh wait wait wait what you mean oh that little earned income credit ain't

  • 59:03

working none of that [ __ ] nothing a little eica working no more pally

  • 59:09

oh that's funny yeah i didn't know that is what i mean that's what i was trying to say you used to looking forward to taxi you

  • 59:15

know i can claim this and i could ah we up we lit no we're not lit

  • 59:23

wait till i get my taxes well and that's why i like ice coming to that realization right because and we're

  • 59:29

moving on from this ish capitalist capitalist you can't even spell capitalism i didn't even say

  • 59:35

nothing about anything capitalism that's dope my man played but listen this is why i'm glad you're

  • 59:40

saying that ice because your your story for me i was gonna step on it and say you don't start your story

  • 59:47

don't start there it starts at no i'm happy no i am kind of content no no no i'm fine in life see with them

  • 59:54

no no no no no no no no my life is perfectly fine look everything in my life is set up the

  • 1:00:01

way i want it to be i guess if i never make another dollar then i'm gonna be now let me push back real quick i was

  • 1:00:08

    wrong that's a hell of a pushback

  • 1:00:27

all right cheers i don't have nothing else to say to you but i'll talk to some of the other people one of the comments one of the problems

  • 1:00:34

one of the problems with the whole uh capitalist versus the non-capitalists right and i'm

  • 1:00:40

using the word capitalist loosely of course but the people on the money side the money and the ice i'm happy and i'm

  • 1:00:46

content versus now i got to get out of here and get it the common misconception is some of the people on the content side

  • 1:00:52

look at the people that's chasing the bag and think that you're chasing a bag to be happy

  • 1:01:00

they think that oh you're a little too obsessed or concerned with the bag you're missing something

  • 1:01:07

inside and while that might be true most times sometimes while that might be true

  • 1:01:12

a lot of the times i'm never saying that it's true a lot of times but the times where it's not there's

  • 1:01:18

some people that just learned oh when you get money they take it

  • 1:01:26

when you get money you don't have enough money you need more and saying yes

  • 1:01:33

yes and we'll always need more yeah and that's the problem with that's the that's the crap

  • 1:01:40

so the [ __ ] that was on the side of now i'm happy i'm cool y'all's getting money at the end of the tax return y'all was toasting throwing it up it was crab

  • 1:01:50

legs got the receipts those crab legs was for our business

  • 1:01:56

[ __ ] amongst that corporate somebody hey uh but anyway yeah so i'm off for that

  • 1:02:02

listen we got a lot to get to we have a lot to do you got to fill me in because i wasn't paying no mind to nothing

  • 1:02:08

how did you look at my phone for [ __ ] six straight days you said new music came out i wouldn't

  • 1:02:13

know well how's this in the lord finesse mashup come together with some [ __ ] that sounded crazy

  • 1:02:19

well while you had an epic phenomenal event happening the music world also had an epic

  • 1:02:26

phenomenal event happening i got to it a little late we've been waiting a long time

  • 1:02:33

and finally lick a shot thank god we finally got the silk sonic album

  • 1:02:42

they dropped it on friday unbeknownst to the fans

  • 1:02:48

they didn't say a word they didn't have a single

  • 1:02:54

    silk sonic just dropped

  • 1:02:59

only one problem it's january 2023 or whatever they say

  • 1:03:04

no no it wasn't silk screen ah that's what he talking about i know what

  • 1:03:10

he meant oh i see what you're doing i see what you're doing

  • 1:03:16

it wasn't silk sonic so who was it then joe what's up but it was silky what's up

  • 1:03:21

i'm here to talk to him today let's talk let's get to it so who dropped it wasn't silk sonic silk sonic

  • 1:03:28

cotton give me something that ain't silky but

  • 1:03:34

it's still kind of casual oh cashmere cashmere

  • 1:03:40

silky cashmere something dropped some dropped some dropped

  • 1:03:46

and when i played it i said oh [ __ ] silky sonic dropped

  • 1:03:52

now a big part of that i was heading to park's wedding and for me this album ended with a song

  • 1:03:58

called wedding cake and it's a pretty fly wedding song if you're playing a [ __ ] head off of

  • 1:04:04

your wife at some point like if you really plan on really going crazy it's not one of them lovey-dovey jessie

  • 1:04:11

powell baby this ain't that this is a ty dolla sign

  • 1:04:17

and divisions version of i'm gonna [ __ ] you like a wedding cake or whatever they you know they doing something stupid

  • 1:04:22

like that i'll play it for you but i'm listening to this project and i'll get i'll get away from my silk sonic joke i listen to

  • 1:04:29

the whole thing front to back top to bottom i like it it grew on me as i continued to listen to it they had a lot of songs where i felt like i needed to

  • 1:04:35

make up with some women in my life um and by the time i got to the end i said

  • 1:04:40

wait a minute man division who they don't ever get the biggest push

  • 1:04:46

from labels they don't both albums i think phenomenal

  • 1:04:51

but they are never really good to push they need the budget they need the looks the vids they need the awards show you

  • 1:04:57

know all the things that r b people need yeah ty dollar

  • 1:05:02

he's more of a mystery man

  • 1:05:09

because he's gotten some of the looks like he does edm

  • 1:05:15

he's been on the calvin harris joints he's been on the slow tiana taylor

  • 1:05:20

joints he's been with the rappers he's been with the singers he's been on everything

  • 1:05:26

and his last album what album that starts with la uh and that album was great phenomenal but we're still waiting

  • 1:05:33

for his moment and that's where it's weird with him because he's had all the moments but we're still waiting for his

  • 1:05:41

solo isolated moment of i'm here and i'm that dude even though we all know it can he do

  • 1:05:47

that i think so ty dolla listen you can eat hot sauce alone

  • 1:05:53

no what i mean by that is and i think he even tapped into that with that last album by naming it featuring ty dolla

  • 1:05:59

sign yeah i think he continues to play on that because it's what's been fruitful for him but if ty dollar sign

  • 1:06:05

got the support from a label that bruno mars got

  • 1:06:13

it could look different he got to give us bruno mars music

  • 1:06:18

i can argue that his bag is crazy i don't think i need to give you bruno mars music for you to give me bruno mars

  • 1:06:24

attention i'm just saying he's had you look at the album

  • 1:06:29

your girl not you of course it's a girl out there giving her man the same attention even though the last [ __ ] [ __ ] her a lot better

  • 1:06:36

you don't need to give the same you don't need to give the uh have the same thing to receive the same

  • 1:06:43

thing is all i'm saying i'm not comparing the musically but

  • 1:06:48

from a label style if you're a label though gets the attention that and and he gets attention so and i didn't hear that

  • 1:06:54

if you got the attention that her got but again look at the names you mentioned and look what they doing he

  • 1:07:00

not doing that do you think he can't i i don't know and that's where

  • 1:07:06

and that's why that's where we'll stop that one because you either fall on the side of you think he can't or you think

  • 1:07:11

he can but this is not about that maybe the label don't think he can maybe i don't know actually i'm gonna see one of

  • 1:07:17

them tomorrow i'll ask about it but uh these two got together and dropped this project

  • 1:07:23

and it all sounds great and it forced me to wonder what their project would look like if

  • 1:07:29

they got a third of the attention or budget or marketing

  • 1:07:35

or audience or plays or playlists that silk sonic get this is like the

  • 1:07:41

hood silk sonic this is our ghetto this is our ghetto silk sonic remember i kept coming in and

  • 1:07:47

saying silk sonic just sounds so clean and pristine this sounds dirty clean

  • 1:07:54

okay and if you're asking me to just come up with

  • 1:08:00

a hot take and none of you did none of you did

  • 1:08:05

is it me or was division trying to interlude battle ty dolla sign

  • 1:08:13

just listen to it on your own time and think about it if you know what i mean i don't play on them songs you know

  • 1:08:20

a little interlude that should be a song you wish it was a little longer you don't play on those and neither do division

  • 1:08:25

i want to know who's in charge of this track list because who the [ __ ] would put two in or lose back to back anyway this is a real

  • 1:08:31

cohesive project but why the hell are you gonna lose back to back like that at eight and nine time

  • 1:08:38

division they sound like they go together and division you cheated

  • 1:08:44

you cheated dawg yo nobody else gonna tell you

  • 1:08:49

i'm gonna tell you i heard what you did you took all that [ __ ] over from [ __ ] drake's house

  • 1:08:56

you took it you watched 40 all that [ __ ] that they do on they album all that [ __ ] that you

  • 1:09:02

do on the drake album that you don't be doing on yours to that extent you did it

  • 1:09:07

over here this is that dog and you know it why you did it at the

  • 1:09:12

time i should call him i ain't gonna call him but i want to know why division did that

  • 1:09:18

cause ty smoked this interlude i'm gonna play now i'm not gonna play him because then nah i'm not gonna play

  • 1:09:24

him you are a nut man i'm telling you something about song creation hold up i mean i've never

  • 1:09:29

created a song you would know so i'll take your word on this you repeat the catchphrase of the [ __ ]

  • 1:09:34

and now you [ __ ] stacked it you brought the choir and you stacked this [ __ ] up you dropped the beat out you

  • 1:09:40

know what you did [ __ ] he know what he did people that never did this they might not know

  • 1:09:46

this is beef he have did this inside out sound like that great project silk sonic it's on you

  • 1:09:52

still waiting i'm waiting god damn it james ain't gonna skate your way out of this january january 2022

  • 1:09:58

they put the date out the bar is high for them i hate to keep putting pressure on those guys i love them i love but that's why the

  • 1:10:05

bar is high and i don't want them to forget that the bar is high because they dumb they've been them dudes for a long time and we all love them so who's going

  • 1:10:11

to come say yo the bar is hot no the bar is higher the bar the bar is hot clearly the album isn't done yet so

  • 1:10:17

correct we were all way wrong with that no we wouldn't i came in here and told y'all to have one there well no but when

  • 1:10:22

we first heard in you know until the last couple weeks we said if these two got together that was been

  • 1:10:27

done yeah oh yeah we were wrong there yeah yeah skate told me that yeah you did say that you said um if

  • 1:10:34

that's the single this album's not done yet so listen shout out to division shout out to ty dolla sign that album is

  • 1:10:40

incredible shout out to y'all right so then we move right along

  • 1:10:47

scissors sneaking me see she's sneaking music out on through soundcloud ah she's doing

  • 1:10:54

that everything she's doing she's doing that thing yeah you know the thing they do yeah it is the thing that

  • 1:10:59

the greats do they got the secret soundcloud they give you a record that sounds like it's the best record they

  • 1:11:04

ever made and that's a throwaway like they knew it wasn't from like her official soundcloud it was like a burner

  • 1:11:09

account this was a hidden secret sound cloud right there i

  • 1:11:14

would place her soundcloud because she has it linked in her instagram bike it's

  • 1:11:19

hers but i'm not telling you i'm not promoting it i'm just if you catch it you catch it here it's one of

  • 1:11:26

those is it still there they take it down no it's still there it's still there it's still there uh i could play some of it but i'm i'm

  • 1:11:33

afraid i don't know i don't want them to yeah no no but that is what but when people do this on soundcloud that's what

  • 1:11:39

they do it for i'm just telling you so you understand the uh the math the science fiction they do it

  • 1:11:44

for what soundcloud is the place where whatever is not going on my album whatever i'm

  • 1:11:51

not clearing because they can come for you now but just not on soundcloud today

  • 1:11:57

okay there's no monetization all the jaques freestyles over lma [ __ ] can live

  • 1:12:02

on soundcloud the label can't call and say take this off of soundcloud fam there's a chris

  • 1:12:08

brown league page that i'm sure is him or someone there and it's like 60 records and they just keep uploading

  • 1:12:14

yeah so you have this yes but it's only soundcloud that's the only place that you can do it without facing the

  • 1:12:19

repercussions from the labels remember the instagram they cutting me off for playing music right the labels have it relegate uh regulated it's a monopoly

  • 1:12:26

it's over for that so this is the only place you can do that but you rip the songs you put on your itunes and that's that but these songs

  • 1:12:31

sound great they're leading me to believe that scissors close like i said

  • 1:12:38

i was wrong in early august but scissors close and everything that we hear

  • 1:12:44

sounds super amazing and i'm and i want to celebrate people taking their time with albums right because when it sounds

  • 1:12:49

like you took your time it's incredible which leads me to

  • 1:12:55

cleo soul i know a lot of y'all don't know about cleo so we talked about it earlier

  • 1:13:01

let me tell you what cleo so let me tell you what what i normally do

  • 1:13:08

uh i went and bought all her [ __ ] that quick hell yeah that just sounded

  • 1:13:13

incredible nah it sounded good um sounded dope just no no it's not for you

  • 1:13:18

really he's slowly changing that's crazy i don't see how you could

  • 1:13:24

not like wait that sounds the girl is way cooler than him

  • 1:13:30

you probably have been missing the signs that i've been giving shout out to your girl man she said [ __ ] i'm inspired from

  • 1:13:36

this podcast i've gotta ask this girl if she'll come

  • 1:13:41

she'll come and be the [ __ ] seat we gotta shift to trade him out she's

  • 1:13:46

awesome his girl um but what am i saying what am i saying what am i saying what i'm saying one more time oh when we do cleo soul cause nobody ever heard of

  • 1:13:53

cleo so when i'm in the house i just do this randomly i just put it on

  • 1:13:59

it has never ever ever failed this is on that old project i was telling you about

  • 1:14:04

and you just let it rock and by the time this gets to minute two or whatever i'll speed it up the beat rocks girls that

  • 1:14:11

really could [ __ ] love when they beat rocks and the sexy in the front let me break this down for you this beat is rocking in the front it sound like shade

  • 1:14:18

was there when it was being produced they go to strings those strings come in hey the girls that can really [ __ ] they

  • 1:14:24

they're getting ready to [ __ ] said little bongos

  • 1:14:29

they know something is coming this is tutelage i'm not lying to y'all out there yo see that's why the music business is crazy

  • 1:14:37

like for i've heard three songs she should be somebody's household name hell yeah you

  • 1:14:43

get what i'm saying like that that would discourage why the music business is tough that would discourage me it's a tough game i almost feel like

  • 1:14:50

i be getting premonitions sometimes like i'd be feeling like i [ __ ] got like powers like i could see something before

  • 1:14:56

it happened before that because i don't be knowing what album's dropping no more i knew that the toddler and them [ __ ]

  • 1:15:01

were dropping cool but then friday got here no around wednesday got here and i said damn you

  • 1:15:08

know i've really been thinking about cleo so like why she won't drop again and then she dropped like a secret album

  • 1:15:14

cool a lot of pressure because your first effort was amazing and then she's pregnant on the cover

  • 1:15:20

and she's one of them artists that you know she like really writes her life and stuff so

  • 1:15:25

now i'm thinking all right she bout to beat me down with like love and motherly [ __ ] she's not pregnant

  • 1:15:32

    oh no it's a baby it's a baby's baby's a baby it's a baby i know i was getting a baby from somewhere but listen i'm here to celebrate this

  • 1:15:38

amazing woman because she just keeps putting out really cohesive albums [Music]

  • 1:15:46

this is only 12 songs it's an hour and 10 minutes long but some of the songs are seven minutes

  • 1:15:53

and they change two and three times the music keeps changing that's real

  • 1:15:58

musician that's real yeah you don't get that no more yeah no no no no no don't get that this

  • 1:16:04

is not today you could tell it you could tell when people take their time with the food

  • 1:16:11

like you have to be hungry waiting on somebody to cook you like that it shouldn't open a long time they'd be like relax

  • 1:16:16

let me do what i'm doing this is the best r b music i've heard bam yo it's incredible yeah 15 years i don't

  • 1:16:22

know what the last yeah like this it's incredible like norah jones slash shy day slash crazy i'm spending time on her

  • 1:16:30

because her name is not mentioned with the people that they should be mentioning that's what i just said and they're not

  • 1:16:37

tying her boots so far no they're not it's a lot of them where the marketing is working and look they had a couple

  • 1:16:44

joints and they're pretty and they're cute and they got a nice feature but for the songstresses that's just out there

  • 1:16:50

dolo holding it down effort after effort this is my bag right like this [ __ ] sounds crazy it's proper use of

  • 1:16:56

instruments it's probably all that's acquired her voice is an instrument i don't know who produced what the writing

  • 1:17:01

the words but this is exactly what happened on her last album now i think the name was inflow let me

  • 1:17:07

double check that yes this is the thing oh yeah inflow is the producer's name what's his name

  • 1:17:13

inflow of this yeah uh both her albums see even that you could tell that you

  • 1:17:20

locked in with somebody on the sound man somebody that knows it's a whole ass band like they got everyone's [ __ ]

  • 1:17:25

listed you know what i'm saying like it's guitarist that is

  • 1:17:34

that's beautiful i don't know how old cleo's soul is i don't know if you listen to us cleo so

  • 1:17:40

we gotta talk to you man you snuck out that [ __ ] uh when i'm in your arms

  • 1:17:45

roses 31 your whole last project i ain't seen an interview i ain't seen a

  • 1:17:52

tiny desk i ain't seen a the colors performance you know when they do it i haven't seen

  • 1:17:58

anything and this is a travesty in music word some see that violin player that was

  • 1:18:04

just doing all that yeah something is adorably i heard three songs and said yo fam this is a problem in music and

  • 1:18:11

that's why i don't like depending on she's not she doesn't have access to them looks like her label is something

  • 1:18:16

that she man all you need is the people no but she's on my body that's somebody's job at some bigger label

  • 1:18:23

management company whatever the case may be that's somebody's job is to find her yeah okay and [ __ ] uh let me under a

  • 1:18:29

rock in south dakota somewhere and bring her to the masses or the [ __ ] up part watch her be right in brooklyn

  • 1:18:36

yeah yeah chopped cheese or something she was like all right wait a minute she's from london

  • 1:18:41

uh they'll play they're going crazy over there

  • 1:18:48

yo my understanding of london it's

  • 1:18:54

no i was watching i was up watching somebody because a lot of people it's holiday now so and then holiday up it's

  • 1:19:00

holiday so people are doing the trips they go to the london spain italy the big greece whatever they're doing right

  • 1:19:05

names from spain so i'm seeing a i've been seeing spain i've seen since you said yeah

  • 1:19:12

there's a lot of space well when i was asking y'all we just not cultured enough to know but i was asking y'all and i did

  • 1:19:18

receive the answer is holiday that's why i didn't know yeah but so that's why

  • 1:19:23

we're seeing all this and i'm seeing a lot more london than i'm used to in london in the night time and it's beautiful you know london is beautiful

  • 1:19:29

but it looked more like like a dubai london now now you land in dubai and could just

  • 1:19:35

feel the money that's oh that's present no london i don't know i don't know i never landed in dubai until london got a lot well you

  • 1:19:42

know how when you walk in certain bayonne delis they feel like more money than some of the other one like a cats

  • 1:19:53

i gotta make it to london man i gotta get back out there and touch the city yeah yeah yeah you know you know i'm

  • 1:20:00

sorry look at that pastrami well yes when you land in dubai you buy

  • 1:20:07

it look like like future vegas yeah it looked like vegas in 2050 well we in 2020 it just looked like a future

  • 1:20:14

but uh cleo so i would love to speak to you i'm going to dm you i'm like i'm normally weird about stuff

  • 1:20:20

like that but i'm going to dm this young lady because enough is enough that's just this album's phenomenal that [ __ ] is something different if you don't have

  • 1:20:26

it stream it buy it like i said just be seeing her like that's her own [ __ ] no i'm

  • 1:20:35

yeah yeah like the whole band just live in one big ass something that's just something yeah yo

  • 1:20:41

when people do the see when people do the seven minute song um

  • 1:20:46

and then start switching [ __ ] up changing you're not doing it for the

  • 1:20:51

the music you know what i'm saying like you don't have a cut off like these drum [ __ ]

  • 1:20:56

just got in a bag that everybody's just moving that [ __ ] sound live like i was just jamming it was like you know let's keep on yeah like all right

  • 1:21:03

let me let me ask you a question because i hear y'all saying she should be getting more looks and stuff and for what i just read about her she signed to

  • 1:21:10

her own label okay that's fire though which is very fire

  • 1:21:15

i'm listening it's gonna support an argument that the labels have like you need us to get there

  • 1:21:21

because you putting out this fire nobody's getting it you're not getting any looks stop right there

  • 1:21:27

stop right there her man from london might be that she might be the [ __ ] in london the word there changes the whole

  • 1:21:32

sentence and i keep having that talk with like the up and coming artists all of you artists out there have to

  • 1:21:38

start being real intentional with what you want cause y'all out here just saying really vague [ __ ] and there's too

  • 1:21:44

many avenues it's too much money it's too much [ __ ] to do so you like how do i get in the door [ __ ] what door

  • 1:21:50

what door do you want to be where are you trying to be make your own what so when you say well i said that because he

  • 1:21:55

said she should be a household name that's why i asked ish that question he's like she's making such good music she should be in household now but

  • 1:22:02

that's stop right there and ish has a point that he was gonna make but i want to

  • 1:22:07

stop the microwave brain people because they hear savvy people like y'all start

  • 1:22:13

having this talk and that's where we start making the mistake of judging artists that's on their first

  • 1:22:19

second album then nowhere near where they're gonna land correct like you gotta let [ __ ] figure it out so if she

  • 1:22:26

has a point and he gonna make it but who's to say that she won't be the we never saw i never saw adele doing what

  • 1:22:32

adele did when she did it like i don't think none of us over here did maybe over there they was like all she got to

  • 1:22:38

do is hit the states all she got to do is hit the states yo there's so many artists today cause now i be in the car

  • 1:22:44

grooving to a lot of [ __ ] that's not from america i used to [ __ ] with the craig davis [ __ ] back in the day and

  • 1:22:50

when he hit america with that fillmen and all of that that [ __ ] was already [ __ ] michael jackson over there you

  • 1:22:56

get what i'm saying like he was already that dude three four albums in but before he ever touched ground here

  • 1:23:02

then he came here and left one little album one little album and actually unless i'm giving it i'm giving

  • 1:23:10

i'm giving my order of albums and music to y'all wrong i bought ty dolla in them

  • 1:23:16

scroll down a few more albums and clicked on some [ __ ] just clicked on it

  • 1:23:23

right i never heard of these people but it was grooving right so as it was grooving

  • 1:23:28

when i hit the little sample thing i said i want to hear more right and when i went to hear more

  • 1:23:35

who did they have dear you [ __ ] guessed it wifey

  • 1:23:40

wifey music wifey was there brandy popping up places

  • 1:23:47

so [ __ ] [ __ ] you know i'm buying it you know i'm buying it let me ask you let me see what

  • 1:23:53

the [ __ ] all right go ahead give it to me cause you said you were scrolling so what makes you click that you've never

  • 1:23:59

heard of them like what what stood out was it the cover was it a name like cover

  • 1:24:05

the name uh i check the category of music it is

  • 1:24:10

i look at the time length like i look at your presentation cause there's an artist out there listening that wants to

  • 1:24:15

know yeah how do i get on the radar well what's your name let's start with what's your name by the time i had to get a

  • 1:24:21

record deal i was in front of a record contract and i didn't have a name so i said oh i'm joe budd i couldn't be mouse i didn't

  • 1:24:28

want to be known as mouse i can't record his mouse in the street [ __ ] i was with hated mouse i was trying to explain it to him they had [ __ ] weapons

  • 1:24:36

[ __ ] mouse is out here all right you got it uh and joe button so name is first and if you if you think about that

  • 1:24:43

a lot of the kids today they're creative with the name yeah yeah they picked that up

  • 1:24:48

they got that that's why i don't know right away that's why that lil was so popular yeah because they saw other

  • 1:24:54

little [ __ ] lil wayne probably really successful and today that group of kids they get into

  • 1:25:01

the hair they get into the colors how they how they're stressed they they do it

  • 1:25:07

but back to them after we get to uh your name i'm looking at your artwork album artwork extremely important still yeah i

  • 1:25:13

i credit the new kids and kanye and a few other people y'all changed that game griselda salute

  • 1:25:20

to y'all some of y'all just take it way more serious than i ever did it wasn't until all love lost that [ __ ] rory

  • 1:25:27

found the artist and all right let's do art piece and i love that cover and as a result for part of it i love that album

  • 1:25:34

like the cover led to the album it led to it it was important so to cover i'm looking at two black girls i'm clicking this and then i see

  • 1:25:41

brandy nice purchase oh yeah see now yeah i'm i'm buying this and then i learned oh [ __ ] they're not

  • 1:25:47

from here all right i just asked because there's people that would want to know no that's a good that's a great point yeah that's a good thing that was a

  • 1:25:52

great question great question is very important like as someone who's been buying records for a long time like i'm

  • 1:25:58

buying the fire album cover mm-hmm i don't even need to know necessarily what's on it like that's something i look for artwork is so important too

  • 1:26:05

that i actually changed your artwork y'all know i don't like it i don't want to see this

  • 1:26:10

right and while they're getting all educational let me get silly for a little bit

  • 1:26:16

everybody's getting bbl's out there everybody has ass they all get in the

  • 1:26:22

same [ __ ] shape right a lot of you dudes is getting fooled because it's like doofy chicks they're

  • 1:26:28

not used to being fine so they only look fine in the picture the second they move or start talking or gotta make a walk in

  • 1:26:35

a straight line or something it's dupe city walking it's over right you pause this for a minute yeah anytime

  • 1:26:42

they gotta make like an action you took them to eat they gotta cut the steak yeah they're never gonna eat with

  • 1:26:47

    me they're never going anywhere

  • 1:26:52

you might have invented this no matter what the popularity of the bbl oh [ __ ] you were early on the bbl's man

  • 1:27:01

you're right just giving credit where it's dude right look at this i don't talk about that story and i think he was with me

  • 1:27:08

you were with me i knew that was coming no why he be laughing like he wasn't with me yo we were you was always you

  • 1:27:14

always wish yes you remember too uh yo that's not physically possible let's

  • 1:27:21

get her on let's get here over here that's your that's your mentality like oh that's not physically possible i like

  • 1:27:27

her i know but in 2008

  • 1:27:34

right seeing that is different that's true yeah yeah when i was ensues early a few

  • 1:27:40

to get money chicks ensues they beat all y'all to it yeah yeah they beat all of

  • 1:27:46

y'all to it and got the work done so i was confused when i bagged my first chick that got her ass done i just

  • 1:27:52

thought our ass was fat and then we had sex and it wasn't it wasn't asking the way it was supposed to act it was the early version of this

  • 1:27:59

or the cheaper version it's the beta and i'm asking i'm back there to the beta

  • 1:28:04

i am yeah i'm back there [ __ ] the beta version ain't no rippling i'm smacking it got a

  • 1:28:12

different sound now i'm confused back there a little deep sound we gotta tap it hey yo should it sound like a

  • 1:28:18

spalding i got it hey yo you from mars i gotta lean over [ __ ] hey

  • 1:28:24

is it me or is something different back [ __ ]

  • 1:28:29

and that's when they was lying no [Music] oh well let me get out and come and get out

  • 1:28:35

of this [ __ ] she from bayonne yeah but so yeah you're not you're not wrong you're not wrong

  • 1:28:41

but i'm a part of that but listen so i'm here with a solution

  • 1:28:47

because everybody got a bbl and they all got the same ass and some of them is doofy and some of them is not you know how to separate the two

  • 1:28:54

you got to turn reggae on reggae afro beach got a [ __ ] haitian

  • 1:29:00

you see who could do like this yeah yeah you know the parties you know the real the parties the basement party the wall

  • 1:29:06

parties those parties you are they they did it right they like hey

  • 1:29:12

even our girls that don't got no ass they shake it busy yeah they're gonna get busy in there yeah yeah yeah yeah

  • 1:29:18

t-wat savage apparently she's already a big deal in nigeria she's like the deal see but that's why this is one of my

  • 1:29:25

favorite times in music if you don't focus on the things that you hate in music you find some of the things you

  • 1:29:30

    love i i see a lot of there's been a lot of cross-country crossover action and i

  • 1:29:36

like that here that would make sense why nas and brendy and them are on the album too

  • 1:29:42

yeah because the bigger artists they travel i'm gonna tell you so you you touched down in ghana somewhere and

  • 1:29:48

you hearing this dope ass sound you're like who was that yeah you know what i'm saying you you might even seek them out

  • 1:29:53

and if they're big out there exactly you know it's like all right yeah let's see what's going on but this is where it's beautiful if you're a music lover like

  • 1:30:00

if there's marketing on this i missed it i'm not in nigeria exactly so i don't know i'm only relying on the sound of

  • 1:30:08

the music and it's good music over here see this music is good music is universal wherever it is yeah but for a long time

  • 1:30:14

america was stubborn i was just american americans have

  • 1:30:22

i think so to an extent we still feel like if it don't blow over here

  • 1:30:28

we don't really care like it takes it takes up artists like this to blow up over here

  • 1:30:34

even like with reggae and [ __ ] it's artists that are huge and reggae we might not never see them or they oh

  • 1:30:40

they'll make a little bit of commercial success here but they popping in london correct they popping in europe they pop

  • 1:30:46

into other places i think what you what you're addressing ice is a little different from what i'm

  • 1:30:52

addressing and you're right new you america has always been stubborn that way

  • 1:30:57

some of some of a lot of america is like i ain't really accepting it if it didn't

  • 1:31:02

pop here that was why uh wayne and dipset was such a big deal back then right but i think your take is

  • 1:31:11

while true some of some a lot of america didn't have a choice like it was forced and

  • 1:31:17

forced on you and i think that's been taking place for a decade drake kicked that door open i hate to always bring

  • 1:31:23

things back to him but he changed a lot like y'all had to deal with the fact that he was from canada we didn't like

  • 1:31:29

it we didn't like it he was from canada he was jewish he was acting he was cute your girl liked them and all he kept

  • 1:31:35

saying was yo when my album drops your girl is going to buy it and your brother we had to deal with that and once he

  • 1:31:41

kicked in the door here comes the weekend here comes party

  • 1:31:46

here comes division here comes sabrina claudio here comes and i know all of them

  • 1:31:52

because i listen to all of them it's it's a lot more here comes uh damn what's the [ __ ] girl that i love

  • 1:31:59

oh snow here comes snow here comes there's plenty of them uh aseon's not from over

  • 1:32:06

here like there's mad in them it's been all decades of them running the show

  • 1:32:12

and the stubborn and the stubborn americans have had to say oh yeah

  • 1:32:17

that's that's oh wow oh y'all did it it's here like that's the best essence

  • 1:32:23

song of the summer whiz kid song was on his album in october when that came out

  • 1:32:28

here comes stubborn america gotta wait till the summer i won't enjoy it till i can go outside and make a shout out you

  • 1:32:33

can go back further than that i know justin bieber the beeps is a lot

  • 1:32:45

london rappers like it's been a thing so even this now like and i think the internet changed a

  • 1:32:50

lot of that too that did it the internet changed a lot of it because before you were hearing what was almost local or

  • 1:32:57

maybe regional the internet changed with the world right here for the consumer

  • 1:33:02

yeah that's what i'm talking about yeah yeah but i'm talking about the music business as a whole and when you do that

  • 1:33:07

you got to deal with the consumers and you got to deal with the people that's controlling it the people that's controlling it when napster and all that

  • 1:33:13

[ __ ] that the question started to be okay how do we not only gain control but

  • 1:33:20

increase market share like and they wouldn't tell us in america like we wouldn't know in america that

  • 1:33:26

four years ago or six years ago spotify's whole purpose was india

  • 1:33:31

let's tackle india in 2021 because if we get india then we have this population

  • 1:33:39

that into the streaming [ __ ] nobody when you're looking at numbers numbers is numbers we don't see people we don't see companies we don't see countries just

  • 1:33:45

numbers them numbers don't say what's happening in america the numbers don't say what's happening over here unless you hit advanced and you get to the

  • 1:33:51

searching but numbers is numbers that was the big fight with the labels for a long time

  • 1:33:56

hey dawg what's my international numbers what did i sell over there why y'all

  • 1:34:03

y'all sending me over here to talk to [ __ ] tim westwood every every album drop the fans love me

  • 1:34:09

over here hey what i'm doing over here hey london ain't even the only other market right oh there's more markets to

  • 1:34:15

sell to when they love us there see if we don't know that if we don't have the information if we can't look and say oh

  • 1:34:21

[ __ ] joe budden has a hundred thousand people in africa that keep asking to see me

  • 1:34:26

that probably means i could do 10 shows with 2 000 people if i get three percent

  • 1:34:32

of those people whenever we got the information the power's in our hands so yeah on a consumer standpoint oh we got

  • 1:34:38

the internet so i'm i'm privy but on the other side it was oh no we need all the markets here america's not enough

  • 1:34:44

america america's not enough but if we if we're all fighting for it then we need more we got to be the dominant

  • 1:34:49

people hey the history app the history channel app this is how america was birthed we got to get over there first

  • 1:34:56

and we have to populate and we have to build sure and that's what they do everywhere that's that's anytime there's

  • 1:35:01

some china's doing now anytime there's some new undiscovered i know and i think they won't tell us how much china

  • 1:35:07

kicking some ass no it's not that they won't tell us china won't tell us no no we can't even

  • 1:35:12

see what china's china tell us no not the [ __ ] you talking about

  • 1:35:18

they fail i'm not fam what it's time to revisit some of that trump [ __ ] yo let's go oh no hey you need to

  • 1:35:25

talk to me revisit the loonie all right

  • 1:35:31

all right coleman ain't coming from [ __ ] jerry city oh my god i don't know where it came

  • 1:35:36

from i know america had a loonie up there that was acting looney so i wrote off

  • 1:35:42

everything he said is looney and he was up there saying [ __ ] that america anyone said hey china china and i was like damn

  • 1:35:47

    man that's [ __ ] up but wait a minute but

  • 1:35:52

the more you get to digging now anyway we're not talking about the vaccine right now nah but we just in in

  • 1:35:58

life and uh you brought up spotify spotify is not an american-based company

  • 1:36:04

right so they already in tune with international markets to them america is an international market right you get

  • 1:36:10

them saying so they already know it's [ __ ] moving waves over here we don't know that because we're so

  • 1:36:15

arrogant yo right we're so stubborn like when you go to [ __ ] monaco when you go to [ __ ] all the other con they

  • 1:36:22

make us look like peons right but on tv we the [ __ ] everybody else starving or tv weedy [ __ ] to us here because it's

  • 1:36:29

    american tv right yeah it's propaganda it's the same [ __ ] it's the same [ __ ] how i've heard i

  • 1:36:35

don't know how true this is we're shown pictures of [ __ ] going on overseas that's not really happening

  • 1:36:41

that way exactly yeah they said so we'll think one way and it don't necessarily be it will push

  • 1:36:47

our political agenda and they said you know even with the most recent [ __ ] that's been going on yeah people posting

  • 1:36:53

[ __ ] from people from over there i don't know what y'all looking at we straight yeah it's not what you

  • 1:36:58

allegedly yeah we straight but um back to the financial piece

  • 1:37:03

excuse me um even back in the day right when we was little used to be seeing the ethiopians

  • 1:37:09

and with the big stomachs and the flies on their face right yo mad people from ethiopia never experienced that

  • 1:37:16

we thought them [ __ ] was over there starving [ __ ] over there with 30 30-foot ceilings in the house no

  • 1:37:21

no i was very young and said well who's taping

  • 1:37:28

like why are you asking me in my living something room there and it's a [ __ ]

  • 1:37:35

with a camera just taping a kid with flies yo what are you doing but no i'm doing it that's what they were showing

  • 1:37:41

us so we got this depiction like i had that same thought when they show us rescue dog i mean the dogs when they do

  • 1:37:46

the shelters i don't know yeah this cat is dying and i'm like well pick it up

  • 1:37:52

[ __ ] it take him to some cat litter [ __ ] you're telling me for the tv and you paid two and you paid for this

  • 1:37:57

commercial you're exploiting that glitter and you're exploiting the cat that's dying [ __ ] be getting money overseas we just haven't tapped into the

  • 1:38:04

markets so again nas is nas you know what i'm saying naz is international big

  • 1:38:09

businessman he probably got mad investments in africa you going to africa these [ __ ] popping over there

  • 1:38:16

so now yo where they at let me let me let me seek them out and get a joint with them right you know what i'm saying

  • 1:38:21

and they're probably already a fan of nazis right so the two just make a marriage i forget which um

  • 1:38:30

no no real international [ __ ] i remember there were acts that could not sell

  • 1:38:35

i i don't want to call them legacy acts but acts from the 90s rap artists that could

  • 1:38:41

not book a show in america america making millions of dollars overseas killing overseas delta funky homo

  • 1:38:47

sapiens [ __ ] killing [ __ ] overseas try to book a show in in your country

  • 1:38:53

you can't sell 100 tickets right yeah so yeah it's much bigger than this over there

  • 1:38:58

you or i let you say delta funky you almost hate me no he was making mad bread [Music]

  • 1:39:06

that's hieroglyphics let us do the music you can't do that you can't do that no

  • 1:39:13

more it's the statute of limitations

  • 1:39:18

they thinking you calling homo something they don't they don't even know what you're saying

  • 1:39:24

you've got to get yo you never pumped it up over there i

  • 1:39:30

pumped it up every week it was to pump it up that's why i've been in trouble i made a couple million over here and pump it up

  • 1:39:37

yeah didn't go my rate wasn't like

  • 1:39:42

all right what about dale now come on let's move on let's move on it ain't time to slow down heavyweight

  • 1:39:48

wars it's star wars yeah yeah sure it's star wars time heavyweight wars

  • 1:39:55

joe's been waiting i've been home because we took a part

  • 1:40:00

off all of y'all were partying and i watched listening

  • 1:40:06

    all of you all the trash you're all trash y'all didn't say [ __ ] i

  • 1:40:11

left it there by the rim for weeks nobody said nothing

  • 1:40:16

so i've been home all this time saying wait this nigga's acting like this he's

  • 1:40:22

leaking drake's address while a gospel album is coming connie should be arrested man

  • 1:40:31

they stupid though nobody asked themselves this

  • 1:40:38

let's start this from the top tippity tippity tippity tippity tippity top cole wasn't scared of none of y'all at

  • 1:40:44

all at all uh none of y'all at all he knew y'all was coming he knew y'all been working he knew y'all was beefing he

  • 1:40:50

    didn't [ __ ] care i don't care [ __ ] y'all i'm out of here he didn't care and and wait got one of the best tapes of

  • 1:40:57

the year wait still and ain't doing none of this [ __ ] [ __ ] nothing all right you don't even see your date i gave you a

  • 1:41:03

date and dropped the album i haven't seen or heard of them since and disappeared but no no that ain't

  • 1:41:08

no well yeah but in my story cole was home bored see that's the part

  • 1:41:14

y'all be missing these super titan mc [ __ ] be home bored m was home bored

  • 1:41:19

and signed slaughterhouse to [ __ ] around hey you [ __ ] come rap over here i

  • 1:41:25

ain't doing [ __ ] get my juices flowing right so cole was home called every

  • 1:41:32

rapper you know said yo we in atlanta this weekend come true

  • 1:41:38

they all came yeah everybody they all wrapped he put an album out

  • 1:41:43

and i knew that he was in there taking everyone's super powers because that's what happens when you that great you

  • 1:41:49

can't help it i'm great if you [ __ ] do something great around me i'ma make it greater and he came out no he didn't come out he

  • 1:41:55

wouldn't join the basketball team he joined the basketball team

  • 1:42:02

he put a sneaker out and he came back

  • 1:42:07

then he came back then he did something else i think they hung his jersey up somewhere he did something else wild he did something

  • 1:42:13

well it probably happened in north carolina too but right you got to start with him he didn't care i told y'all he

  • 1:42:18

didn't care and y'all be trying to act like y'all don't see that he didn't care he didn't give two [ __ ] about none of you [ __ ] he got it out the way and

  • 1:42:23

it's still hard still one of the best albums of the year now fall back and wait fall back and wait i didn't have

  • 1:42:29

kanye inserting himself into this mix i only had cole kendrick and drake

  • 1:42:36

but that's poor of me because kanye is in there i just thought he was out

  • 1:42:41

busy but when you're of that magnitude and [ __ ] rocky at home and you get a divorce

  • 1:42:48

and the money's making money and i move and i move to wisconsin i'm looking for the piece it's quiet that [ __ ] wouldn't

  • 1:42:53

call slaughterhouse he called benny called royce called the locks he called everybody he could call

  • 1:42:59

to get out here and now he's got something insert kanye in the race

  • 1:43:05

fine i wish we could find the old clip for the first year this pod's second year this part and me [ __ ] telling maul

  • 1:43:12

hey these guys don't like each other man they hate each other he said no they got a song together and i said all right we'll talk about later

  • 1:43:19

kanye comes out and we think he found jesus he found the lord

  • 1:43:25

he's doing arenas he made the album the album sounds better than the last few albums

  • 1:43:30

and then people start calling my phone saying hey dawg why do you think kanye

  • 1:43:35

it keeps doing these live stadium listening parties and not putting his album out and then i got to stare at the

  • 1:43:42

    phone and say money

  • 1:43:47

don't bother me about this if i had an album that i could just pop up in a city and

  • 1:43:53

generate over a million dollars in less than two hours i'm gonna do it a few times

  • 1:43:58

i'm not rushing to put this out i wouldn't be shocked if you pop up in [ __ ] boston next week all y'all come listen to this

  • 1:44:06

it's money it's all money and so money and so on the thing is i know it's all money it's all money it's for

  • 1:44:12

nothing else but it's beautiful art fam we just talked about hookah beautiful idiom tour beautiful art right

  • 1:44:19

he's low keys running a stadium tour of live art right of of something that's not out like you said live art

  • 1:44:26

there's a con there's a concept there's a theater floating around on the internet that says hey is kanye's album

  • 1:44:32

out already and we don't know it is he debuting or finally tackling his idea of live art that he tried to do with uh

  • 1:44:40

pablo uh life of pablo is has he mastered his growing album where we just get to watch it and

  • 1:44:46

hear it grow and be developed and we can go and we can see it but it ain't out

  • 1:44:51

and it'll never be out and i won't dismiss it because in the nft world and all of this [ __ ] artists

  • 1:44:58

are about to start artising on y'all are last year that last year last decade we was all

  • 1:45:05

crying together saying the music is being devalued and we didn't know where it was going and where could it go we've

  • 1:45:10

seen eight track we've seen see tape cd streaming streaming has to be the end right it's never the [ __ ] end

  • 1:45:16

it's never the end it's never the end so if he did that would you blame him no

  • 1:45:22

i might not hell no i don't i might not blame him in that same theory that's

  • 1:45:28

floating around they're saying that the first one he was in all red because he was in hell

  • 1:45:34

and now and the fire was on the screen yeah uh and then he was in black which is uh

  • 1:45:40

purgatory and he ascended and then in the next one he'll be in white and it's heaven you know kanye is into all that

  • 1:45:46

all that so all of that's cool

  • 1:45:52

when the artistic see and i figured kanye out now can't trick me no more dog i'm sick like you i got you [ __ ] i'm

  • 1:45:59

sick i got you that [ __ ] brain is weird i got his ass

  • 1:46:05

cause you can't really tell you can't tell with him but i think artistic genius

  • 1:46:14

when that's happening it's him absolutely

  • 1:46:19

at his truest form when he doing [ __ ] that we've never seen before

  • 1:46:25

musically and visually i agree with that i think he's really him

  • 1:46:31

it's him but the market and all others i don't get off until i start seeing

  • 1:46:36

things that's off and when i say off i don't mean nuts or off-center i mean things that are not

  • 1:46:43

aligned with that artistic genius prime example don't debate me on it i'm giving you my opinion it's my podcast i'm here

  • 1:46:49

to do it when kanye called the locks after versus to come do the song

  • 1:46:55

that scared me why you said it because it's not him it's not the artistic thing that you've

  • 1:47:00

been on somebody might have influenced you to do that because i came in here after the verses and said the lock's been the locks yeah

  • 1:47:07

well and you are don't don't well me i don't care what nobody else thinks i'm not saying what nobody'll think i'll give you some more information give it

  • 1:47:13

to me styles has worked on this album already i know for a fact prior to that i don't care for other

  • 1:47:21

[ __ ] on the album i don't i'm just saying so he has worked with i don't care now they're back after versus on a

  • 1:47:28

private jet vocals on a j electronica song where i don't even want to hear jay electronica

  • 1:47:34

and i'm telling you what i thought

  • 1:47:39

off you said it that day or very on if you're talking about changing the way that we deliver music

  • 1:47:46

it's a live music experience it's growing and growing music

  • 1:47:51

i understand i understand exactly what you're saying well if we isolate that yeah but i ain't done okay

  • 1:47:58

i think that's brilliant if that's what you're doing cool let's add more now it's living

  • 1:48:03

yeah which is the genius part that's the genie part i think this is happening but let's keep it going let's but let's keep it going

  • 1:48:09

it's like podcasting in music but that's fire it's fire alone

  • 1:48:17

but here are a list of things that happened before that and after justin lavoie was kanye west

  • 1:48:23

spokesperson i'm going to repeat it for you i know justin laboy

  • 1:48:29

was kanye west spokesperson i believe kanye west to have saved adidas

  • 1:48:35

okay yes yeah whatever they saying about him and gap i believe it

  • 1:48:41

whatever he did for def jam and universal i believe it what he did for music i

  • 1:48:47

believe it he's the same guy that debuted videos on the sides of buildings across the

  • 1:48:54

country you can't trick me you don't have that type of brain to

  • 1:49:00

even think of something like that he ran on stage and took taylor swift [ __ ] from her

  • 1:49:06

yeah she did yeah he did he he told michael myers shut the [ __ ] up and diss the

  • 1:49:12

president i'm all i'm saying all i'm saying is

  • 1:49:17

justin laboy was speaking for this person yeah and i came in here and told you i

  • 1:49:23

would have thought about it i didn't expound because my brain is weird [ __ ] don't really agree with me

  • 1:49:28

or anything but that was really that don't align with

  • 1:49:34

the artistic genius that don't it don't for me for me i'm not debating it think what you want right

  • 1:49:40

let's keep going then consequence popped up and said

  • 1:49:46

we're looking for drake and i said holy i came in here and said it again

  • 1:49:51

i came in here and said up up up up you're going to get baobao

  • 1:49:56

you're gonna get papaw leave him alone right but that was worrisome to me because he

  • 1:50:03

ain't doing that on his own khan ain't tweeting that on his own he got support in that he's not just gonna

  • 1:50:08

run out he got support in that that was kanye we're using adjusting the boy we're using consequence

  • 1:50:14

wait kanye is looking for drake off the justin the boy it didn't make sense it didn't make sense

  • 1:50:21

    then cons tweeted again

  • 1:50:26

joe was worried i only ain't really worried because i heard some part of the album it all sounds great

  • 1:50:33

but the actions the actions tell me some main right but then karen civil tweeted

  • 1:50:41

hey they friends and karen's an insider so karen say it

  • 1:50:48

i'm inclined to believe it but even when she said that i said

  • 1:50:54

i don't believe it because what happens with two people that's that big that one time maybe in

  • 1:50:59

beat each other and hated each other or admired each other or respected each other we could beef and then get

  • 1:51:05

together and play nice but i'm still trying to crack your muffin so even if they piece it up

  • 1:51:11

even if there is a song coming i don't know maybe even if that competition between them two will

  • 1:51:18

never cease to exist it's going to be there no matter what

  • 1:51:24

right yeah sure and now we have an address leak

  • 1:51:30

wait you jumped oh sorry because before we got the address leak we got the verse

  • 1:51:37

that's what prompted the address league the the verse on uh trippy red's record see i don't see and then this way i'ma

  • 1:51:43

shut up because they're gonna say i got my ovo k point i don't care about that verse

  • 1:51:49

you were but i'm black before giving you timeline you was looking for me before this oh okay this is the timeline but

  • 1:51:54

i'm not highlighting this because i'm not highlighting drake's part in my head drake has been chilling

  • 1:52:01

the one time the petty scorpio [ __ ] is chilling the only other person that could [ __ ] with him while he's chilling

  • 1:52:07

in this type of manner big brother type manner pop right back out and get to [ __ ] with duke

  • 1:52:13

let me tell you about drake's year the heart went away in his head

  • 1:52:19

it's gone he got to grow back in he said it yeah kovit he said that he broke his leg

  • 1:52:24

he said that [ __ ] was wheelchairing around the house

  • 1:52:29

is that was supposed to be out in december it's not life and health happened correct

  • 1:52:36

and now i'm a my whole team is scientists is a big project we've been telling y'all for years here that when they let people outside the labels are

  • 1:52:43

going to release the big projects so i'm sure they made ain't no dog you're back get out of here

  • 1:52:48

he'd been trying to give it gave us eps projects and leaks shot a video and marcy [ __ ] went to marcy

  • 1:52:54

this has been his year and the first time the biggest artists in the world pop out that i admired and love

  • 1:53:02

    he right at me

  • 1:53:07

so here comes drake on trippy red he say it yo my [ __ ] is setting stone

  • 1:53:14

that's it there's nothing more to say it's not a diss no no no no it's not disrespectful

  • 1:53:19

to the fans the same thing all the greats have done they've taken the real time events they see what you're saying they come back a hole popped on the

  • 1:53:25

record set you're calling me a camel but i'm through you know you know what he said we see what you're saying is what he's saying right

  • 1:53:32

all drake said was i'm too big of an artist it's not as simple as you trying to and

  • 1:53:39

you know it because you was that big of an artist too you know that this is set in stone

  • 1:53:44

i can't move it even if i wanted to move it and play with you we clear and sample we got this guy the

  • 1:53:50

label need me here we need this month to show like this like it's not about you kanye kanye knows that but he making it

  • 1:53:56

look like there's some type of i got some type of

  • 1:54:01

thing going on i don't need a theory i've seen this movie the same movie from universal these [ __ ] are on the same

  • 1:54:07

label yeah i said that i said they really want to hear it they can't trick me we know who the real

  • 1:54:12

winner is they was going to win anyway they're trying to win more right right it's american greed

  • 1:54:18

they was going to win it's kanye and course right it's american greed they want to win more hey when 50 and kanye

  • 1:54:23

was dropping i was like oh they both gonna win that it wasn't enough for him needed more gotta finish one of them

  • 1:54:31

if i take what karen said as as some truth she's wrong but just

  • 1:54:36

just this is my theory you gave me you gave you gave your thoughts like i said i have two theories on this

  • 1:54:41

one is i don't know if y'all remember rockefeller movie death of a dynasty we do okay

  • 1:54:48

the movie pitted them against each other the entire movie all for them to kind of like joint drop

  • 1:54:54

and was like haha we pulled the wool over all your eyes we really cool go out and cop all that [ __ ]

  • 1:54:59

that's theory one like this is a wrestling fans call it a work where we pretending

  • 1:55:05

there's something here it's not we cool this is just to gear everybody up get all y'all something to talk about so we

  • 1:55:12

can come out theory two is kanye really does want to want a

  • 1:55:20

showdown again a yeah a showdown with drake

  • 1:55:27

and i go i trace it back to that line he made on uh on the record on the ep he dropped he

  • 1:55:33

says uh this one um numero uno hot one hundo it didn't come with a

  • 1:55:38

bundle uh-huh so it's like if kanye's jigging the system with the bundle [ __ ] i showed you i told

  • 1:55:44

you about before i'm running up the numbers right i'm you know i could kind of get a little head on

  • 1:55:51

them or you're gonna now we drop together and i can i can all you're gonna do is make me push you back

  • 1:55:56

cause i'm gonna get mad you playing with me a certain way and i can't play back but if you make me mad enough i'ma add

  • 1:56:04

songs see you know check my credit score my last two albums

  • 1:56:09

i've added some songs that whole double disc [ __ ] was probably done in the last week he said that the whole [ __ ] was i'm

  • 1:56:15

on your head you dead my eyes bad bloodshed like yeah it was talking to you the whole album so if you make me mad enough i'm gonna add some music see

  • 1:56:22

that smile and i'm gonna push this back and you go stand on your own get out there in the street cause when i come

  • 1:56:28

i'm coming i'm coming and my focus is not you see that's the other thing where

  • 1:56:33

i kind of it got to be more to this because kanye this is the same [ __ ] that had you tripping when he just sent you a

  • 1:56:40

purple emoji in a dm you was out here on the ledge and that ice there is stuff that we

  • 1:56:46

don't know about this beef this is something else how are you looking for him though is

  • 1:56:51

what i'm saying how are you looking for him huh how are you looking for the one that had you

  • 1:56:58

you was bugged you thought sickle mode yo sane is on the right he's talking about like you were losing your mind my

  • 1:57:03

wife unfollowed me followed you you talking about see chris jenner beep

  • 1:57:10

twice in our way bam stop you live up the street my mansion overlook your

  • 1:57:15

match you talking about my pool i see your security out there damn i ain't even got security that's around my

  • 1:57:21

house 24 7. like what i'm saying is our brains won't even come to think of the types of beef that these two have gotten

  • 1:57:26

into you hear what he's saying yay's pool is nice mine's just bigger is all i'm saying what type of petty scorpio

  • 1:57:32

[ __ ] like what do you what are you talking about but you know what he's talking about yo i keep seeing y'all at that pool down there it's cool

  • 1:57:40

it ain't enough but we're getting going i'm going like listen drake's address is

  • 1:57:46

out it's been out like you could google it you can find it the dude's house is a monument out there you probably can't

  • 1:57:52

miss it right but it's not about that the dude that mixed my first single

  • 1:57:59

is putting out my address i know y'all can find it it's out it's the fact that he's doing it

  • 1:58:08

kanye west that's ain't cool it's not even that it's not cool it's like dude

  • 1:58:13

you are you look thirsty at this point that's how you left yeah it looks nuts to me it looks corny and he looks nuts

  • 1:58:20

it's like you're begging for my attention yeah and i know this is like the x that you ghosted you cut out you

  • 1:58:27

don't say nothing and she's just doing whatever she could do to get you to acknowledge her yeah but

  • 1:58:33

this is why i'm at it this this is where i get mad at yeah i'm not mad at him but back to what i just said about tiwa

  • 1:58:38

savage we just relied on the music kanye the music is there now right it

  • 1:58:44

ain't like before where you might have needed to do some of them things you got it now

  • 1:58:50

why now to get it more like um he's looking at me a little bit

  • 1:58:58

some [ __ ] be a little mental yo no no no i and don't let me get even

  • 1:59:03

deeper here because i'm scatterbrained come on this is just that frank ocean [ __ ] happened

  • 1:59:10

apple couldn't do the [ __ ] no more and i think that affected drake drake was the one drake was the apple guy put

  • 1:59:17

my [ __ ] out over here we got a radio station over here and that stopped right and i ain't talk to nobody

  • 1:59:23

and that stopped and now kanye is working in conjunction with apple for these streams

  • 1:59:30

i think that there's numbers that somebody's looking at that probably has something to do with some of these

  • 1:59:36

pushbacks some of them hey the more you do this you see apple was the first people they put out that sign the next

  • 1:59:41

day oh [ __ ] this is the stream wanting anything ever streamed before on apple really i doubt it i don't believe you i

  • 1:59:47

don't believe you sorry apple don't shadow man me i love y'all y'all notified but i don't believe

  • 1:59:52

that for a [ __ ] second it's a marketing statement to me that's how i took when you make

  • 1:59:59

that type of marketing statement you are invested differently there you

  • 2:00:04

go you invested it differently now you're talking so now is this kanye burst drake only

  • 2:00:11

um okay and drake just left there not just left but i'm not saying i'm just going to get the questions no

  • 2:00:18

you're right though i'm asking him i'm here to please move he's moved drake has moved from apple he

  • 2:00:23

got the radio station over at serious or whatever serious yeah you got

  • 2:00:30

now you're over here now so now we align with the next person

  • 2:00:35

you know you know the real enemy you know the real short way you know the real short-winded way to say everything

  • 2:00:41

that i just said that petty ass scorpio laughed that he did

  • 2:00:47

they played drake but drake dropped the [ __ ] i mean uh kanye dropped the address drake tapes himself

  • 2:00:53

laughing no but it wasn't just a laugh that's not true that was not just the last super villain that was the laugh like

  • 2:01:01

you mother you you're gonna make me and when i do it i don't want to hear

  • 2:01:06

[ __ ] see this is this is all right wait wait wait wait and i'm all for this hold up ain't no music more people ain't no

  • 2:01:12

gossip one more piece about gossip process it i don't i just don't understand from whether it be yay

  • 2:01:18

his camp whoever okay when the whole push of [ __ ] happened we knew who drake didn't give a [ __ ]

  • 2:01:25

about pusha t like that he was just in kanye yeah kanye then

  • 2:01:31

i don't want him to do it allegedly reached out to somebody to squash it and all of this like why are

  • 2:01:38

you picking with him this is what i just don't understand you're still of all the people of all

  • 2:01:43

the people you know what you didn't want him to say you know it

  • 2:01:49

there was something there that you felt he could have said that would have rocked you to the core so you had to hurry up and

  • 2:01:56

yo don't ask me i think there's a lot that could be said i think it is too that

  • 2:02:01

ain't being said but it been hinted around yes same but that ain't i ain't my place to

  • 2:02:07

say either so i'm not saying but i do think it's a lot of that my i'm going back to what you're saying

  • 2:02:13

nothing something [ __ ] on here no no who no no

  • 2:02:25

why do you pick with him do not bark up that tree that tree will fall on you well to kanye to kanye

  • 2:02:33

because rap these this mega star [ __ ] for me is still scissors paper rock like

  • 2:02:38

styles make fights i think that kanye inspired drake but kanye's a weird drake now so if drake

  • 2:02:45

won about bao i think it would be an effective pal pal i don't think drake is afraid of kanye i don't think so i think

  • 2:02:51

all of them know that cole just didn't give a [ __ ] about any of them and now the boogeyman is here that's

  • 2:02:57

true there's only one boogie man that's true candy man

  • 2:03:03

yeah see i just got quiet yeah

  • 2:03:08

candy man is here see they playing they slap boxing right there

  • 2:03:16

    [Music]

  • 2:03:21

it's a stone cold killer on the loose yeah that been quiet

  • 2:03:27

for years and it's his final album

  • 2:03:32

    on a very monumental imprint in hip-hop they've done everything right this entire time [ __ ] down with a [ __ ]

  • 2:03:39

uh windows 3.1 [ __ ] folder emojis he don't play he's not he's not the player with some

  • 2:03:45

text in it yeah he's not for play play and that's why i need for kanye to move

  • 2:03:51

out of the way because you're lying you lying

  • 2:03:56

it's not you and drake it's not it's kendrick drake and i'm tired of people jumping in

  • 2:04:04

and stopping us from getting kendrick drake for a [ __ ] decade

  • 2:04:11

it always gives one of them out every time drake looked like he getting ready kendrick want to go win the

  • 2:04:17

pulitzer surprise or something [ __ ] no i can't rap no more no no no i can't rap your turn i'm an

  • 2:04:22

author [Laughter] drake get ready to beef kendra go induct himself in like the rap hall of fame or

  • 2:04:28

some [ __ ] no no on my time on my time about crafting masterpieces

  • 2:04:33

yeah and then when kendrick come out he like don't really try to acknowledge drake only he come out and diss everybody he's just letting all y'all

  • 2:04:40

know because he don't care right so i'm looking for that it's kendrick drake

  • 2:04:47

kanye move justin the boy move consequence move again

  • 2:04:53

you guys have to stop drop the album make the money you do over 300 i'm

  • 2:04:59

guessing and it's a really good album and then go be the artistic genius sell the gap

  • 2:05:04

jackets do all that weed you love you back you know we forgiven we ain't thinking nothing about none of that maggot [ __ ] give us throne like this is

  • 2:05:11

what i love now if you're looking close at the music people you can see what they about to do

  • 2:05:17

the next three four five years you can shape it out now if you want to yeah

  • 2:05:22

throne is coming at some point go give us all that [ __ ] but this boy right here though yeah

  • 2:05:29

that's a lot to deal with he not coming to play with you here hey cole here every word

  • 2:05:35

memorized it he memorized yeah yeah he memorized it he said oh he's doing that flow now

  • 2:05:41

watch those features wait till i write [ __ ] neon electricity you know some weird

  • 2:05:47

    names kendrick let's [ __ ] [ __ ] i don't know what when he's coming but i know he's inserting himself

  • 2:05:54

i was a year early on that i knew they was coming he's inserting himself in this and drake you better look at him

  • 2:06:00

don't you look the other way i don't care what pusha t do i don't care what y'all kanye do and i don't care what justin lavoie say to you

  • 2:06:06

when kendrick come out and say what could kendrick posse gonna diss a lover boy

  • 2:06:12

no he's gonna you're going just a lovely boy it's gonna be something it's going to be interwoven

  • 2:06:18

the only boy is when i was in the gang the crips raised me and they shot me it was like oh [ __ ]

  • 2:06:23

oh no he a different lover boy yo kendrick i'm waiting words and the

  • 2:06:30

[ __ ] about kendrick coming as the boogeyman is scissors coming too

  • 2:06:38

they have their two acts coming with heat yeah we haven't heard

  • 2:06:43

j-rock or a school boy in a while so well rock just dropped a couple years i'm he's not supposed to be this one

  • 2:06:48

said a couple years ago no but i'm saying you know how when you last time you heard the absolute album

  • 2:06:54

it's been a while too that's what i'm saying they move like that you get an album you disappear for three years four years and then the next one's up like

  • 2:07:00

that's just that's how they've been moving let me read this kendrick lamar note cause some of y'all don't trust me i

  • 2:07:06

don't believe what i'm saying i'm gonna prove it to you oh yeah no it's he talking all through here though kendrick

  • 2:07:11

says i spend most of my

  • 2:07:19

yo you stupid yo you stop there

  • 2:07:26

like any time that the bad guy is bad enough he always start with like the beginning of time like this

  • 2:07:32

that where he started the demonizing of [ __ ] like look i spent most of my days

  • 2:07:37

we ain't heard from him in six years i spent most of my days with fleeting

  • 2:07:43

thoughts i could leave about this podcast right now i could walk out i could walk out this podcast is over

  • 2:07:49

kendrick lamar has been spending his days with fleeting thoughts i know what fleeting means but i'll

  • 2:07:54

continue to read writing listening and collecting old beach cruisers the morning rides uh keep me on the hill of

  • 2:08:00

silence writing listening period yeah yeah

  • 2:08:06

let's get in period period and collecting cars he's just trying to throw us off there we don't care about

  • 2:08:11

it no no we i quickly i know what he meant by the morning rides keep me on a hill so

  • 2:08:16

he's talking to he's saying now no he's talking come on see i see this i know what that's like

  • 2:08:22

listen cause i always say something he says i go months without a phone

  • 2:08:28

come on monster killer mode yup i killed it yo hold on

  • 2:08:34

kill em all take it to sports lebron getting his zero dark dirty right

  • 2:08:41

that's what we talking about i go months without a phone i'm off the grid i'm gonna do you worse than that when lebron say that he go

  • 2:08:48

face the same opponent for a seven game series kendrick is saying yo i haven't touched my phone in nine

  • 2:08:54

    months but last time i did i heard your [ __ ] song and i saw you doing [ __ ]

  • 2:08:59

and that's the last memory i have look love loss and grief have disturbed my

  • 2:09:06

comfort zone hmm i was comfortable but y'all [ __ ] got on my nerves

  • 2:09:15

but the glimmers of god speak through my music and family

  • 2:09:20

the clippers of god i ain't even know god had glimmers

  • 2:09:26

you know listen to a kendrick album come on man while the world around me evolves i

  • 2:09:32

reflect on what matters most the life in which my words will land next

  • 2:09:38

oh this helps me crazy i don't hear what he's saying not some

  • 2:09:44

poetic [ __ ] he has a headache his head is pounding right now if i'm

  • 2:09:49

thinking he better go take the whole bottle ibuprofen uh

  • 2:09:54

as i produce my final tde album i feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years

  • 2:10:01

the struggles the success and most importantly the brotherhood may the most high continue to use top

  • 2:10:06

dog as a vessel for candid creators as i continue to pursue my life's calling there's beauty and completion and always

  • 2:10:14

faith in the unknown thank you for keeping me in your thoughts i've prayed for you all

  • 2:10:20

see you soon enough now i don't know about y'all period i take cu soon enough

  • 2:10:26

as a threat that's threat level red right there all of that was a threat

  • 2:10:31

even him praying for us yeah i pray for you all why are you praying for me to be safe [ __ ] i'm safe

  • 2:10:39

don't tell me to be safe yo that wasn't that was i'll open up the

  • 2:10:44

floor candy man's coming yeah ladies and gentlemen gentlemen listen this is me putting you all on

  • 2:10:49

notice that's all it is yo i seen it i heard it

  • 2:10:55

i'm on the way and i'll read this from punch as well uh punch says it's funny when things change

  • 2:11:00

because most of the time we automatically assume it's something negative especially in this business

  • 2:11:05

it's rarely seen as growth growth is a great thing and it's essential for life life happens in stages and life happens

  • 2:11:13

in stages and this particular stage is almost complete kendrick is a generational artist who

  • 2:11:18

has accomplished so much and has contributed immensely to this thing we call hip-hop yeah let me look a shot

  • 2:11:24

yes he did it's only right for him to continue to evolve and build his own business and

  • 2:11:29

brand how he sees fit in fact we encourage it we want each and every artist we work with at tde to

  • 2:11:36

build and grow and be self-sufficient that's the whole point also please remember that this is family

  • 2:11:42

and will always continue to be so album coming soon lol

  • 2:11:49

interesting lol in parentheses after that beautiful beautiful

  • 2:11:55

speech and they both dropped this at the same time same day kendrick has the science meetings that

  • 2:12:01

drake has too with his team like this is plant his next year's plant it's plant to a tea it's cemented it can't move

  • 2:12:08

well this has been in talks like there's been rumors in mumblings for over a year about this

  • 2:12:14

because kendrick and dave free launched something yeah the website oh yeah the pg yeah and they were like well what is

  • 2:12:19

it is it is it his own company is it his own like what no one knows what it is still we still don't know fully what's

  • 2:12:26

going on right so it's been little rumblings like oh is he leaving tde like is he retiring what's going on

  • 2:12:32

rumblings with kendrick and the tde thing i've also heard rumblings with meek and ross there's a lot of rumblings

  • 2:12:37

that out of respect we just yeah never touch but you hear the rumble you do heroes yeah

  • 2:12:43

oh i'll cut you off no no i'm just saying like he he to your point he has

  • 2:12:49

his plan his next year couple years are set in stone for him what he wants to do

  • 2:12:55

you know and hey look if they say it's all good we got to shut up and applaud that i mean they had a hell of a run man if

  • 2:13:01

kendrick and drake make us wait till 2030 to get whatever the [ __ ] they about to do

  • 2:13:06

like in terms of addressing each other because this has to come i'm telling you something i've been saying a few years they have to address

  • 2:13:14

each other it ain't going to keep being people you think it's gonna really happen why would they do it though because you have

  • 2:13:19

to you have to it's hip-hop you have is not i know i know i know i know i know

  • 2:13:26

the two [ __ ] at the tell me a time and where it hasn't happened where the two dudes at the top don't talk to each

  • 2:13:31

other they have to they have to you can't just keep poetic justice you can't just keep i love bad

  • 2:13:37

[ __ ] on the [ __ ] pro y'all keep bumping into each other like you all avoid each other because you're operating different spaces but y'all

  • 2:13:42

keep bumping into each other artistically because you're all that great you cannot do it that kendrick [ __ ] that control verse i

  • 2:13:48

don't know that he was talking to anybody that was a trick maybe all these other [ __ ] got mad

  • 2:13:55

me included [ __ ] up hey hey i wish he would have just taken yeah i

  • 2:14:01

ain't talking you [ __ ] i don't care nothing about you [ __ ] loser you should have said like if kendrick get on his [ __ ] this is it has

  • 2:14:07

to happen it has to happen

  • 2:14:17

see and this is why i say it has to happen too because the top the top has to look like the personalities at the

  • 2:14:22

top kendrick could play all this koi [ __ ] he want he is an animal yes yeah we know

  • 2:14:27

that a threat to society but in in the personalities of the individuals

  • 2:14:33

drake is petty but drake won't [ __ ] your girlfriend from sixth grade he probably would but kendrick to prove a point to date that

  • 2:14:40

might come from something else i don't know so it's so i'm not going to feed into it you need two

  • 2:14:45

people to tango right now these two people are kind of like this is where the joe budden theory comes

  • 2:14:53

into play y'all are right until now

  • 2:14:59

tdes moving which means they getting there they can't silence me no more down it away

  • 2:15:07

ah no punch no top the mystery that comes with how they run

  • 2:15:14

things the influence the big brother the yo chill the fab the the whole calling

  • 2:15:20

fab to say yo don't go to the studio that part that part has been there and it's

  • 2:15:27

leaving them react you all don't care about that part no it's a possibility but everything is

  • 2:15:33

possible i want you to i'm just saying he might be a different type of [ __ ] street [ __ ] like man i'm not dealing

  • 2:15:39

with that it's a possibility i don't know him i'm just saying it's impossible i spent most of my days with fleeting thoughts

  • 2:15:46

writing listening and collecting old beach cruisers the morning rides keep me on a hill of silence i go monks without a phone love loss and grief have

  • 2:15:52

disturbed my peace you bitch-ass [ __ ] but the glimmers of god keep me from destroying you because i can crush you

  • 2:15:58

with my hands whenever i feel like it it's what he's saying and if tom ain't there to stop it there will be a clash

  • 2:16:05

and i'm shutting up let's move on maybe so let's go maybe yeah we can move on but maybe i i don't

  • 2:16:12

know i think he's evolved to a point where it's nothing against i don't want to see

  • 2:16:19

no drake pusha t nothing stop adding pusha t to group chats that i don't think drake is even

  • 2:16:24

i don't want to see none of that [ __ ] all of the beef that y'all got trying to get round two with a recycled [ __ ] i

  • 2:16:30

don't want to see touring cassidy again it's over sorry nicky carty all of the big ones we got

  • 2:16:36

him they over it's the only one left lupe roy sorry move it

  • 2:16:42

there's one beef remaining and we need it do not rob

  • 2:16:47

us of it and when i say beef i don't mean like violence yeah i know you want to hear the two titans go at it but then

  • 2:16:54

in this climate it might not stop at music no we talk about drake and kendrick no

  • 2:16:59

    no that's gonna that's good that's just that's just that's decision that's just music

  • 2:17:05

all right do i have any more music takes for y'all i don't i've been giving it to you today

  • 2:17:12

i don't you got something let me just check and make sure uh

  • 2:17:17

i'm oh da uh damn lillard i'm i'm not gonna talk about it because i'm coming in here with a whole segment to appreciate dame miller okay okay

  • 2:17:25

damn littler dropped the album adam's great dane little debuted a new sneaker debut dan lillard scored 41

  • 2:17:31

points and at the weber state reunion game like he just been bugging living life like and that's my thing in my 40s

  • 2:17:37

now like i'm looking at the dudes that's living they just living there just having a good

  • 2:17:43

a good time out there oh i do have a music they make 40s and 50s look real good i totally forgot i have a music

  • 2:17:48

tape uh for that boy to be canceled that entire summer jam crowd was rocking

  • 2:17:55

with the baby summer jam yeah we have to talk about it we do have to talk about it who can't but did he not cancel to them

  • 2:18:02

i'm i'm just telling you you get what i'm saying like he not canceled today we knew they weren't taking over america

  • 2:18:08

and and i saw why why tell us he he got hits a lot of he

  • 2:18:15

has records and they look like he loves him out there he came on he had a video just um shouting out hot97 thanking them

  • 2:18:21

for willing to step out while everybody else was canceling them all right and and now that you saw that video

  • 2:18:28

react let's get right to it let's let's let's cut through okay summer jam happened it

  • 2:18:34

was sunday the baby performed it was rain a lot of people performed it looked like a real amazing time hot 97 summer

  • 2:18:41

jam how you all avoid those weather problems every year man kudos to y'all hats off to y'all the stage looked great

  • 2:18:47

uh a lot of old older veteran mc's gracing the stage that made me feel good

  • 2:18:52

but you gotta that gotta feed off of that versus energy so i like that when that energy is out there you gotta

  • 2:18:57

follow an energy that's how it works right and a performance but if you and it will perform

  • 2:19:03

weeks before we were saying that the one place that has not canceled the baby at

  • 2:19:09

a festival is hot 97 summer jam and we chuckled to each other we said

  • 2:19:16

we had a lot of behind the scenes jokes and talks and i'll just give it to you because i'm not here to play games today

  • 2:19:22

what was implied was man can i 97 afford to not let the baby

  • 2:19:29

perform there like the baby's huge i know they're going through some but maybe they're forced to stand by him

  • 2:19:34

that was the undertone and then summer jam happens beautiful

  • 2:19:40

event the baby plays a video piece in the front apologizing yet again

  • 2:19:45

um saying that he had a long talk about hot 97 before they booked them uh

  • 2:19:51

he made himself clear to them they felt confident and they were going to support they were going to move forward

  • 2:19:58

and then he did the show but when he said that i rethought my entire stance i rethought the jokes and

  • 2:20:04

i had a deeper talk with myself and i said hot 97 home hip hop in new york

  • 2:20:12

did we need that and i didn't even know it are they setting the tone it should have yeah that's deep we ain't think about

  • 2:20:18

that not at all we ain't thinking about it not at all and if we're gonna beef about cancel

  • 2:20:24

culture the way we do and the fake power that they swear they have then we gotta acknowledge some of the

  • 2:20:31

people that stand by you in hip-hop see because when you say hip-hop you kind of

  • 2:20:36

gotta stand by some things i know that he's that big to where you know he got the gays he got everybody so

  • 2:20:43

they could just get him the [ __ ] out of here but when you're not that big and you're just in hip-hop

  • 2:20:49

you gotta stand by some things your favorite artist has done something said something horrible lyrics shots [ __ ]

  • 2:20:57

distant from his family use the weapon committed a crime like you sign up for whatever you sign up for

  • 2:21:03

i want to applaud hot 97 for standing by the baby i do because if they don't

  • 2:21:09

who will will i agree the train keeps going well i asked myself that and then i felt

  • 2:21:14

even more proud that it was new york see new york is a melting pot right

  • 2:21:20

new york kind of has to make the statement new york has to say hey fam

  • 2:21:26

you know like i got to preface everything with yo i love the lgbtq community new york don't have to do that

  • 2:21:32

because new york is that new york is new york is this new york new york so you kind of have to be in support of

  • 2:21:40

and hear everybody and when i looked at it like that i'm real glad that they stood by him i'm not condoning what he

  • 2:21:46

said and what he did but we ain't trying to end him

  • 2:21:52

he ain't dead nah especially a young black paws i mean a young black kid we all make mistakes his are just on the

  • 2:21:59

camera and he just came after him and get scrutiny you know what i'm saying like again he didn't know and where he come

  • 2:22:06

from he might not have picked that up and that's kind of why you all like him

  • 2:22:12

because of where he comes from and his story and his road traveled so you don't get to judge the information that he has

  • 2:22:17

or doesn't have when he makes a mistake i mean did he well that's a different story but i'm just saying you have to

  • 2:22:24

you have to appreciate the companies because this ain't even about the baby right now for me it's about hot yeah hot 97 did what the [ __ ] they had

  • 2:22:31

to do i'm sure they might have had a little bit of a sponsor pushback they got push back i'm sure they got all

  • 2:22:36

that and they still stood with them yeah they still rocked out with him that was big i got to point it out because i just

  • 2:22:41

like how i like how they did that fam that's summer jam show it was good i think this who's the headliner i don't

  • 2:22:48

know a boogie oh okay everybody look good the summer jam show

  • 2:22:53

started at about 5 30 it ended at 1.

  • 2:22:58

that don't usually have like that was in the rain in the rain pouring down rain i usually shut it down once it starts raining no yo they got the worst luck

  • 2:23:05

with rain right yeah everybody every year every year every year but ev this year was funny because it's not normally

  • 2:23:10

in august like i've been thinking i think the weather gods have them lined up for june they still caught them on a

  • 2:23:16

random day you know now i got you you're not leaving this ring but they had cardi they had offset they

  • 2:23:23

uh uh bobby schmidt rowdy the rough riders

  • 2:23:28

tribute that's swiss great i mean the rough riders the dmx tribute excuse me he had uh

  • 2:23:35

the locks came out busta fat joe and remy and he said x don't like people performing his songs so they didn't do

  • 2:23:41

any x records they you know play a little bit but not perform the song it was it was a great

  • 2:23:46

tribute man fat joe out mop yeah

  • 2:23:53

it was just good it was it looked it looked and felt like new york i guess that was another reason i was real proud that they handed it like new york cj

  • 2:23:59

brought wutang out oh yeah yeah what's the correlation there staten island oh he's from san diego okay

  • 2:24:06

that's though brought out great ghosts and meth and they went through some records that's dope yeah

  • 2:24:11

it looked like a vet it looked like a nice veteran showing up yeah it's not what i like to see that i mean

  • 2:24:17

get into the stage show back see that's what i was gonna really be performing again and uh we saw it in the verses

  • 2:24:24

young kids sell tickets we saw it in the verses so the locks really know how to perform yo like little things it was

  • 2:24:31

when kim came out and performed she was a little windy jada picks up immediately he's finishing lines for her

  • 2:24:36

you know when wu-tang comes out the mic that meth had i guess that was the third mic

  • 2:24:42

that's like it's very low like the locks peep that they switching mics yeah they were as soon as somebody you

  • 2:24:49

know your mic low in the middle of your verse here take this one like it's just little tricks that you that locks with

  • 2:24:54

the singing [ __ ] whole verses for them like the uh styles p was like yo like

  • 2:24:59

when he was [ __ ] with cam yeah remember him and cam was kicking each other on the chair and all that yeah jada sung his whole verse oh yeah we

  • 2:25:05

didn't even really notice it because that's how fluid [ __ ] move brings out the eisley brothers to perform one of

  • 2:25:11

ex's favorite records right yeah brutal show like high 97 you know

  • 2:25:19

they definitely caught this i'm mad i missed it i got home and i didn't even know it was on i just saw some of my tweets on title

  • 2:25:26

it's like oh [ __ ] it's been like a real complete weekend of learning things about myself and others

  • 2:25:32

through music just watching the i-97 [ __ ] meet came out

  • 2:25:38

he did dreams and nightmares really big song for him of course

  • 2:25:43

i never thought about it before but i think that's a love song

  • 2:25:50

yeah that's definitely your brain working on its own i think it's a love song

  • 2:25:55

listen to the lyrics listen to this this is what i learned about myself

  • 2:26:00

i really like girls that know the words to dreams and nightmares okay you do too i i know and you don't

  • 2:26:07

know it no i know i know i do i'm thinking about all our jersey girls night on strip club nights and i'm thinking about just last time i was in

  • 2:26:13

the strip club and dreams and nightmares came on i looked around at the girls that knew the words

  • 2:26:19

i like them damn dreams and nightmares came on in the after party

  • 2:26:25

and turned that entire house upside down yep when you lock eyes with one of them

  • 2:26:32

as they are rapping they be hyper though they be hyper they get hyper as the song progresses

  • 2:26:39

in the front it's a love song still you look at each other in the club you're both drinking

  • 2:26:44

you both start telling each other about what you prayed i used to pray for times like that we

  • 2:26:49

gonna get back she cheated on you that's what you said

  • 2:26:54

hold up wait a minute [ __ ] you should talk about yours yo you know why it's funny look

  • 2:27:00

you lock eyes with her now you talking about your prayers together

  • 2:27:06

you talking about the grind you all came up together right i'm not gonna drag this out it's funny because meek talks

  • 2:27:12

about parking seven different cars in this song and you locked eyes with her and she's rapping along i double parked

  • 2:27:17

the phantom and you're looking at her and she looked great but you like you know [ __ ] can't park

  • 2:27:24

like she's lying now i thought she double parked

  • 2:27:31

well she didn't do what he did whatever he said in the song he parked like eight different cars can't even fit in the

  • 2:27:36

parking lot that was the first one he parked another car parked on this nigga's grass girl say the same thing about a civic

  • 2:27:57

if you haven't checked out summer jam even it was a title stream of summer jam like check it out man they they did good yeah

  • 2:28:04

  • 2:28:59

that you'll have another party move it over so we move everything to the garage right i move i have no parties we never

  • 2:29:05

go in that garage and a year and a half later the cleaning lady goes down there and says

  • 2:29:11

lotta bugs slotted mosquitoes open a lot of the spilled the weather

  • 2:29:17
