  • 1:24

looked fluffy and it just didn't look masculine no no no no what i'm gonna do with that which i'll get the ones from the ocean that look a little more

  • 1:30

masculine though they're like kind of like tan looking shits

  • 1:36

my [ __ ] is purple right got a nice lavender soap to go with it too

  • 1:41

yeah either the lavender or the cucumber melon oh yeah you stole that from women too

  • 1:48

i might have stolen a lot from women now that i think about that women have good soaps good soaps good lotions out there yeah

  • 1:54

you know women taught you how to love on yourself properly yeah cause dudes we didn't give a [ __ ] about none of that

  • 1:59

yeah as long as we wash it all right we cool my girl put me onto a nice body scrub can't get enough of it okay you

  • 2:22

hotels they got like the real deep big shits so you're just standing up your whole life that's right bathing that's right

  • 2:28

shower like a good bath man you drop that epsom salt in there yeah i yeah soak

  • 2:34

i'd be mad when i was apartment shopping and all i have is bathtubs like i can't even use it you might as well just give me a shower stall and i'll have more

  • 2:40

space to do some other [ __ ] with see that's why i can't get money for real for real because i would do like real creative [ __ ] in a house from the ground

  • 2:47

up like i would make i just put a bath in the living room well thug had a pool in the living room

  • 2:53

like an actual pool in the middle of the liverpool just one of them nice little baths like in the

  • 2:58

master bedroom just like but right beside the bed like with a different platform with a watercolor that would be

  • 3:04

beautiful with like a garden i might even seen that recently somewhere but let me not get into my decorative bag

  • 5:24

you're missing right babe differently that's good i'm happy for you uh ice how about you um i'm good now

  • 5:31

like i went through a funk i was in a funk for the last probably week really what happened i have no idea

  • 5:37

real talk like i just been in a bad mood i've been spazzing snapping on people snapping at work snapping on my girl

  • 5:42

overworked no i don't know like that's why when he said that mercury retrograde [ __ ] i said i believe it now uh that's the only

  • 5:48

thing i could chalk it up to because nothing's changed i just been in a bad mood the only time that happens to me is when i'm just i'm doing too much and i

  • 5:54

feel like no one's helping me or something like that which is frequently i have taken the time

  • 6:02

well i can't really say that i've i've tried to take the time to really sit my

  • 6:08

ass down as of late now even though i have been out boy i've really been trying to just well

  • 6:14

you were on a run you were going out like like a 23 year old for a minute there for real yeah but you know what i don't

  • 6:22

i never view it like like that i don't like in new york when you go out

  • 6:27

it's different from going out in other places so every night when you hear me say i'm at a bar up the street or i'm at

  • 6:34

the hookah spot or i'm at the day brunch yeah to the rest of the country that

  • 6:39

sounds like you out tearing it up but out here no that could put you in bed by 10 p.m still or not you could stay until

  • 6:46

    4. true see i i don't do that me either see no matter how wild the night is i'm

  • 6:52

not staying outside till 4am i think maybe that's some old dude [ __ ] no after about 2 a.m there's nothing good

  • 6:57

happening yeah what am i waiting i just want to be home like i've been out with you a couple of times and it got about 2

  • 7:03

30 i'm like dog i just want to go home yeah like fam this this is past my bed time i don't care how much fun i'm

  • 7:09

having i need to be home but after 2am that's when people start fighting for no reason people start drunkenly falling

  • 7:15

into you and spilling [ __ ] on you that's when you sleep with women that you had no business sleeping

  • 7:21

all your mistakes happen yeah yeah and just why not be home in bed i have a new appreciation for that in my in my 40s i

  • 7:27

do okay i got that too and i'm not in my 40s so it looks like i've been out but i kind of been home i kind of been in bed

  • 7:34

just catching up on rest sleep trying to uh trying to combat some of that stuff that ice is talking about now

  • 7:41

right like when the seasons change i am cognizant of what that can do to your mood damn maybe that's it the

  • 7:47

season changed that that is a thing well i believe it to be a thing i didn't fact check this that could definitely be a

  • 7:53

thing it doesn't happen to me in the fall if you're going from summer bright hot outside wind less a lot of activity

  • 8:01

back to now fall school starting kids gone some people are dealing with having to send their

  • 8:07

kid that's been in the house their whole life away to college yeah that's a struggle i'm talking to some of

  • 8:12

my parent friends that really enjoy their kids it's like oh [ __ ] what am i going to do with myself now i got to send my kid to college so it's dad you

  • 8:19

in the house you're gloomy everybody's work situation is not all the way together yet who knows they cut off

  • 8:24

unemployment yeah they cut off unemployment i went to the mall let me tell you empty

  • 8:29

quiet let me tell you it's different it looks different i'm not one to just assume that that's

  • 8:36

why it looks different but this was a weekday i don't remember too many weekdays i was going on the

  • 8:42

weekdays they all was packed mall was packed they're blind you know it's a little empty now feel it

  • 8:48

feels a little different and on top of that like what you said kids going back to school which could play in to

  • 8:53

people's moves and [ __ ] is traffic yeah like i leave i leave my crib at 7

  • 8:59

30 in the morning bro used to take me eight minutes to get to work 30 now yeah 30. and i'm i'm pissed by

  • 9:07

time i walk like all of that just adds up yeah well traffic is back it is big

  • 9:12

time it's really back really bad the last few sundays i've been trying to just make a quick

  • 9:17

run to the city three or four miles away it's been taking like 40 45 minutes

  • 9:23

going to the bottega store is not that important oh wait a minute fashionista joe back at it listen i'm seeing a lot

  • 9:30

of you rappers in botega now out the blue no that's not happening stop it stop it

  • 9:37

stop it i'll let it slide with the mirror hat stop it stop it i'm i'm you i'm not saying that

  • 9:44

because i'm not that self-centered and narcissistic like they say

  • 9:50

but boy am i seeing a lot of rappers in bottega the same way it was joe and the mary

  • 9:56

hats joe and the greg lauren all the [ __ ] that they laughed at me about and then it just magically popped up for the

  • 10:02

rest of the look at two chains yo look at two chains and this is a botanical shape wow bottega turtleneck

  • 10:10

botega shorts and the bottega boots they don't know much about high-end fashion so when i see you wearing it i just

  • 10:15

assume that other people are probably wearing it too no see that's the opposite joe it's the opposite though yeah

  • 10:21

like that's one thing he don't do that i don't do that like you don't see him in dior from head to toe because that's

  • 10:26

what they've been wearing all that fendi monitors [ __ ] all of that i try to stay away from all that [ __ ] that these

  • 10:31

rappers be doing i ain't seen nobody last time i heard botega tony yayo mentioned it on on i think you love me

  • 10:38

parks they laughed me i had like greg lauren sweats on at the uh at our push interview yeah i remember those were

  • 10:43

funky so i could see why people asked about them yeah they're weird but i normally look for a weird piece all this bottega [ __ ]

  • 10:50

is weird about saying the botanical [ __ ] all this [ __ ] is weird these [ __ ] look at this boot man i'm just

  • 10:56

telling y'all i notice it that's all i'm saying make your little internet jokes i like them probably

  • 11:02

helps my brand in some form or fashion but it's nuts yo gotti another one

  • 11:07

congratulations you know congratulations to yo gotti man what a man

  • 11:13

yo gotti needs some type of award that hasn't been given to him yet well i brought him up because he another

  • 11:18

one i'm seeing running around in all this botega but he he uh owns he owns some of a

  • 11:25

soccer team oh [ __ ] dc united there was a video he posted a video of him walking in the field

  • 11:32

uh back back to the camera looked great smelled like money through the video

  • 11:38

your god he's been having an amazing year well an amazing few years yeah i was a great roster well everyone signed

  • 11:44

him right yeah yes yeah everybody i like assigned to him yeah all the rappers i like are assigned to

  • 11:49

you guys fighting soccer teams even if it's a us soccer it's still that's a big deal that franchise is worth 750 million oh

  • 11:56

[ __ ] so yeah and i just think we need more examples

  • 12:01

of this like we kept seeing the rappers that just post all the money on instagram uh

  • 12:07

nas seemed to take us by storm when we found out he had all these different ipos and i think more people

  • 12:14

have gotten into that and are starting to promote it again i said on you know not too long

  • 12:19

ago rick ross posted his 20 investments that was awesome now we got yo gotti doing it just it's just

  • 12:25

good to see us it's good to see that type of maturity happening in hip-hop alongside whatever the young youngster's

  • 12:31

doing yeah i remember a couple years back um about five years or so chamillionaire

  • 12:38

was front row at the finals game so people was like yo them tickets is

  • 12:44

like 75 grand how's chameleon there sitting there he ain't had a record in

  • 12:49

forever then you find out he's been up there in silicon valley investing heavily oh no [ __ ] like same like nah

  • 12:55

it's like you find out oh [ __ ] he got all his money you don't hear about it but then you hear you realize yo these

  • 13:01

dudes are smart they are investing where they need to invest and they're seeing the returns that's a smart way to do it

  • 13:07

man there's some hustlers out there for real i say all the time man yo i watch yo gotti i'm a fan of yo gotti and i say

  • 13:13

yo gotti is who everybody know jesus my favorite rapper yeah i say yo gotti is who i always

  • 13:19

envisioned my favorite rapper being like i thought jeezy would be right here with that roster like he was on his way

  • 13:25

i'm just saying with that like being that exact to have the roster underneath you with all the hot artists

  • 13:30

to have all the business deals in place like i i just and back to being quiet maybe he is and we just don't know

  • 13:37

yeah but we know everybody don't have that that eye in ear though right

  • 13:43

it could be that like i remember when jeezy was trying to get that uh cte [ __ ] going and and a lot of the knock at the

  • 13:49

time was damn geezy might not have the ear yeah to spot the talent

  • 13:55

or the infrastructure to get the talent going they were saying a lot of that but he had a lot of people for a while

  • 14:00

didn't he i mean he had but the artist the artists he had were never

  • 14:06

it okay you know no shots to any of them but blood raw um

  • 14:12

slick pull up these all they just never were it everybody yo god he touches takes off

  • 14:17

he's like gucci when i put my arm around you you take off interesting like they just have this

  • 14:25

is that about to be the new the new old new line in hip-hop put my arm around you oh my god that's what happens oh my

  • 14:32

god like some people can see appearance some people can see it they can be like yo i see something in you that i can

  • 14:39

take to the next level i'm gonna sign you instead of you and it work and when your track record

  • 14:45

keep working it's like damn you see something and that that's a talent being able to

  • 14:50

spot that in other people i agree i agree i don't want to leave i don't want to leave this and talk about drake

  • 14:55

especially since i said i'm not talking about drake anymore but as soon as we left is it 2023 but it's no not yet oh

  • 15:01

my god shut up parker but as soon as we left him and cole are on stage that was as

  • 15:06

soon as we stopped the last part and on drake's exit he stops the music he gives this long

  • 15:12

beautiful soliloquy to cold talking about how he's the best and how many people feel he's at the top of that list

  • 15:17

and whatever whatever he said it was beautiful the crowd [ __ ] cheered fans hit me like hey man good thing you

  • 15:24

didn't go out all the way out there with that take you had because look what just happened between drake and cole on stage

  • 15:31

hey man and i didn't say nothing yo how much longer do i think i have to part

  • 15:38

like how much longer can i come in let's just not say what i'm thinking i gotta take this burning me up inside i'm gonna

  • 15:44

be a [ __ ] then come on no you gotta say it well no not necessarily about this but yeah just too

  • 15:54

how do y'all how do y'all feel about that here we go there we go i said that cole's number two let me get out of here

  • 15:59

let me get out of here i said cause i could get it for you joe get it off you joe i think he he sees

  • 16:05

something like yo it's it's better being friends with these dudes i don't have to i can i can dead

  • 16:12

the competition as cole or drake as drake okay as drake i can i can do all of this publicly and

  • 16:19

be your friend okay how do y'all think cole felt about it

  • 16:24

[Laughter] oh you felt like you felt it was i have not inserted my thoughts

  • 16:31

okay let me interpret what i feel like you're implicating that's not fair because i'm working on

  • 16:37

how to nicely do this podcasting so i shouldn't use the word sunning i'm

  • 16:43

well is that a word that's coming to your brain i mean i can see how someone might interpret it that way but i don't think that was the case well i didn't

  • 16:49

ask you that i said how do you think that cole felt about this gracious and that's cold and cold seems like the

  • 16:55

    coolest guy in the [ __ ] world you're good he's good

  • 17:01

you think coal is tight yeah i don't think so i don't think it was tight yeah but maybe you don't have many days left

  • 17:08

as a podcaster either like yo there's too many podcasters out there getting by not telling y'all nothing i'm

  • 17:14

one of them now i must change that today i'm gonna give it to y'all um nah no i'm not

  • 17:21

all right paul seems like the nicest guy in the world look i can see how someone else erickson

  • 17:28

you should be zooming in on somebody's face you maybe you can't get park space don't

  • 17:34

give me you could get this i'm just laughing i know but say something i'm about to tell you all right tell millions of

  • 17:41

people yeah millions of people i i cole ain't rolling with that

  • 17:48

cole's not rolling a lot of giggling y'all getting tickled cole's not cold ain't rolling with this

  • 17:54

like i see what you doing and i will no [ __ ] outta here yeah yeah yeah we cool

  • 18:00

okay okay don't get it [ __ ] up okay it's still competition yeah i'm the i'm i'm out here to be the best

  • 18:07

and i don't know why better than you nobody in hip-hop will tell the truth anymore not even the rappers not even

  • 18:13

the parts all this [ __ ] is cool ha ha yeah my man you know yeah i will tear your ass up [ __ ]

  • 18:18

and you know it look at look at parks i think they could both could be true

  • 18:25

i think that the level of competition is different than how we were raised in in life in [ __ ] general i think that

  • 18:31

people are competitive but also nice now i don't think they're competitive well i don't think both of them are competitive

  • 18:38

towards each other i think drake is like let me just be cool with all these [ __ ] cole on the other hand is not thinking

  • 18:44

the same way i made this record to let you know what's up wait who saw what was up so nobody sees drake must talk one

  • 18:51

hand massage and cole and cole squinching his face up go look happy look no that's what i'm

  • 18:57

saying he's not feeling i'm asking y'all i don't know these are my two guys i know they're gonna tear me up i'm

  • 19:02

telling you this is my two guys hey we're moving on soon they got too many rolling they got too many fans i don't

  • 19:08

want no smoke but call wasn't rolling look clark parks won't even look at his own tv i'm gonna

  • 19:14

tell you guys i'm gonna tell you what this is this is drake saying your fam don't don't don't make no more records please this is drake don't move my [ __ ]

  • 19:20

walking out on stage saying oh look at your little cute burning basket hoop

  • 19:25

oh he lit up a little hoop okay what what i want to give him it

  • 19:31

also could be drake saying but wait till i give you the [ __ ] that i was really planning on dropping but i didn't drop because i don't want to drop it right now

  • 19:37

and don't take the mic at my show when i got 30 000 people having me people there and just started going off about how i'm

  • 19:43

the greatest if you don't believe it like don't do that just to get my fans riled up because he's a showman and you

  • 19:49

know they believe it and he don't oh man all right i didn't have this written

  • 19:55

down so we could move from it yeah we could move but uh let's move right along mosey look the happiest moses

  • 20:01

that's my take and i'm leaving it at that moment through the tank

  • 20:06

i'm chilling all right come on we all want to start with them i don't know what you got you have the

  • 20:12

list we went over it but you have it listen i'm off the dome with mine i'm off the dome with mine are we going

  • 20:17

serious so we oh what are we doing r kelly serious okay i'm just going through them man

  • 20:22

is she ain't here for me to uh poke and make argue about things you know how are you just gonna get right to it and try

  • 20:29

to see what's going on r kelly found guilty everything took him nine hours they got him out of here sentencing it

  • 20:34

soon took him nine hours and 30 years and well yeah that part yeah sentencing

  • 20:40

is may 4th 2022 and they're saying he could spend the rest of his life in prison

  • 20:46

how do you gentlemen feel i i didn't get to read a lot of analysis but i saw that they were promoting and

  • 20:52

highlighting that it was like a racketeering charge yeah racketeering yes

  • 20:58

i don't i don't know [ __ ] can you inform me of why this is the case bracketeering

  • 21:03

they said he was the head of a criminal enterprise that was funneling women

  • 21:10

or doing things to women okay and he was the head which would make it i wonder why

  • 21:16

all right he just had so many other charges that it's i wonder if that's like an easier

  • 21:22

charge to pay no no he guilty on all those too uh okay okay he was guilty on all the charges and now

  • 21:28

he has other cases oh he's still got more [ __ ] to face now you gotta go back to illinois for more cases uh this was just new york oh he's

  • 21:36

the federal charge in new york he's not gonna see no daylight no listen uh as park stated earlier

  • 21:43

kind of known about this for quite some time now i don't know if there's much of a deep dive here that hasn't already been done

  • 21:52

but are we throwing the guy's whole catalog away really uh i don't want to hear that [ __ ] yeah

  • 21:57

it's been thrown away to me actually yeah that [ __ ] makes me uncomfortable to listen to yeah you know i don't mean to

  • 22:02

be safe or anything it just does it makes me uncomfortable listening to that [ __ ] i know i know they say that wrong i know

  • 22:08

they say the whole separate the art from the artist thing but in his case a lot of the art

  • 22:13

it was talking talking about you know [ __ ] that was happening yeah so there was no separation and it's just

  • 22:19

hard for me to listen to any of it now honestly i don't play any r kelly i don't have him on any of my devices

  • 22:27

i don't even play the features featuring him i'm just don't listen i'm just gonna play the other side of the seesaw for

  • 22:32

sake of it okay not all the way because i don't support it right but ice what is the difference between

  • 22:38

this and some of the gangster rap that we listen to

  • 22:44

i i it's just this [ __ ] is taking advantage of little kids man like

  • 22:51

    i'm sorry i i guess i'm a hypocrite i pick and choose what battle i i i take

  • 22:57

i think i've been saying for the longest that we are all hypocrites and people been fighting me on that but it is the

  • 23:02

truth every single person in this [ __ ] planet is a hypocrite yes but the main thing is just acknowledging that it's

  • 23:09

okay yeah because we all have things we feel this way about and then things we may turn our head about the other way

  • 23:15

and we also change our opinions correct so if what i've thought then i might not

  • 23:20

think now and listen there might be a time i doubt it in 20 years where you can throw on the remix to ignition and i

  • 23:26

won't be skeeved out but i take it a step further in terms of hypocrite being a hypocrite

  • 23:32

when the r kelly tape dropped years ago yeah that tape was played everywhere yeah every barber shop in

  • 23:38

america yeah not even thinking there's something wrong with what we were watching right dudes was yo you seen our kelly tape yo

  • 23:45

look at this [ __ ] yo he has his face all in there like he pissing on the chick like that was the talk i remember i remember too not sitting there saying yo

  • 23:52

we shouldn't even be look like this is disgusting yeah i mean granted at the time i was

  • 23:58

probably not i'm that old either the barbers were the barbers weren't that old no that's what i'm saying people

  • 24:03

were watching and sharing this tape like it was the new whole freestyle yeah

  • 24:09

and then you start to realize yo and i damn like i look back like damn we was really

  • 24:16

watching and and like picking up this tape yeah i don't know

  • 24:22

well i say big enough as in like yo you seen it yo yo like that right but as you grow and you just realize certain [ __ ]

  • 24:29

just wasn't right yeah don't mean i didn't partake back then watching and

  • 24:34

talking about it right but the same thing like i can't listen to this dude's music i can't i can't

  • 24:40

i just can't it just makes me uncomfortable yeah for real and i got a daughter um

  • 24:45

that weighs in too a lot of times how things affect personally like i have a daughter so it just weighs in a little bit heavier

  • 24:52

on me mm-hmm something involving little kids or young kids particularly young women

  • 24:58

i i don't know if if i didn't would things look the same i don't know but i i only can address it

  • 25:04

the way i am now and i got a daughter this [ __ ] is disgusting it has been disgusting his team around

  • 25:11

him enabled it they've all been disgusted i think they all should be on trial i was just about to ask if they had

  • 25:17

any of the other people because racketeering implies some type of organized crime type of situation correct so why

  • 25:23

why are not his accomplices being i agree unless they i guess they probably will

  • 25:28

look that up but i do i do think that there were a few other people under investigation and a lot of them uh cooperated yeah okay dude i remember how

  • 25:36

they built this case the uh the docs that they had about this the one dude's saying how he he forged

  • 25:43

documents to get him to marry a liar the other dude's saying how he would go to the high school and pick girls up and

  • 25:49

say i want to meet rob of course no young girl is going to turn that down so there's no percentage of

  • 25:54

the pie for y'all that says well he is a victim as well

  • 26:00

i don't see him as a victim well he allegedly was a victim of uh was i forgot who they said blessed him as a

  • 26:07

child or whatever maybe so yeah he might be a victim but that doesn't excuse i don't see him of course

  • 26:12

not here is what i'm saying yeah yeah he could have been a victim of something in his personal life younger but i don't see

  • 26:18

that it's that it's sad certainly but it doesn't i i can't yeah oh it's cool i can put on oh

  • 26:25

because you did because that happened to you now you did this i can't say that i'll never listen to another r kelly song again i can't say that that's what

  • 26:31

i said you know maybe i can maybe say that with time it will be less uncomfortable for me but i certainly won't look to throw it on

  • 26:39

while the opposite sex is present no because it would put me in that mind of

  • 26:44

all the horrific things that he did but if i'm alone

  • 26:49

i maybe could listen to your body's calling me even if even if it's just to hear

  • 26:55

hear the from then to now for him and you know the crazy like it is still probably the second or third greatest

  • 27:02

catalog ever he's ever i've even been at bars in in clubs and

  • 27:09

parties and [ __ ] where it came on and i was like i'm going outside or something like it's answer that for me same you know what i'm saying i don't want to

  • 27:14

hear it out i don't want to hear it around women yeah but while i'm alone i

  • 27:20

get it i don't know i just don't know but i haven't done it so please don't please don't kill me but just but to say

  • 27:26

that i'm not [ __ ] i was somewhere the other day and somebody was talking about throw tp2 on and i was like no

  • 27:32

no please don't while i'm here i was like you gonna front on what tp2 did it's like of course not no i would

  • 27:38

never i was outside right when tp2 dropped i know what happened and i know what that what the women that were

  • 27:44

sleeping with me were doing when that album came out they was schooling my little young ass and i don't think that people should

  • 27:50

support him but i'm not gonna kill nobody if they want to listen to it still i just know i just don't want to

  • 27:55

hear it personally here's the other side where i say today where i say being a hypocrite

  • 28:00

i won't listen to none of his music but he wrote for other artists

  • 28:06

i'll listen to that you see what i'm saying just hearing his voice hearing him but then it's like okay so now you're picking and choosing

  • 28:11

yeah i am and there's a lot of people like that like yo cancel everything r kelly when you do

  • 28:17

you know his catalog to make that statement i mean it's because a lot of the songs that you still will listen to

  • 28:23

came from him what do y'all think about fat fat joe and ja rule's decision to not play any r kelly records

  • 28:30

because every time someone played one of the verses like i remember when isaac brothers and that that what you saw on all the

  • 28:36

commentaries like yo they really went here wow our kelly records there's been a couple people that played some r kelly

  • 28:41

records i also saw a lot of people championing float on when it came on

  • 28:47

that was just a great story that's [ __ ] up because that was a moment for ron isley yeah

  • 28:53

yes r kelly played a huge part in it because he wrote it he developed a yeah but

  • 28:59

um it just it's it's tricky i was outside for that that was important remember well actually you've been you

  • 29:05

have worked on our kelly produce record right how does that feel i'm playing my [ __ ] the [ __ ] is y'all

  • 29:10

talking about well because it's half your [ __ ] i'm playing it just because he wrote the

  • 29:16

record but you're right i know but i'm just curious the mentality that's got to be conflicting like damn i'm not that

  • 29:22

right i'm playing clubbing sorry sorry buddy but i'm with ice if

  • 29:29

it's not his voice i'm kind of right like i blast uh aaliyah back and forth

  • 29:34

a million times that's that's my song right aaliyah back and forth and i don't think about you don't think arkham i

  • 29:40

don't think of that right but he did write it and he was monumental in it but i mean he wrote for

  • 29:46

everyone a lot of people got to throw some of their favorite songs correct that's that was my point and there's [ __ ] that people don't even know he

  • 29:52

produced all the way out the window and say i'm

  • 29:57

never listening to anything r kelly that had to do with him ever again there's a lot of music you're gonna miss then look

  • 30:02

at the moments you're taking away like we got to take away all the moments that

  • 30:09

come along with the fiesta remix fam everything you think about think about that the guilty verdict made me

  • 30:15

face made me face this like i this conversation has been had um every different way i really wish what

  • 30:20

could happen is they could figure out a way to uh divert his income from

  • 30:26

this [ __ ] into victory he wasn't making anything off of this anyway uh

  • 30:32

like that's that was his whole thing yo i'm bankrupt anyway i'm not he wasn't making any money off of uh off of his he

  • 30:38

was making some type of money off that show i'm not sure i mean he's probably getting shitty splits but he was making some money off that he had

  • 30:45

no records but we don't know the contract that's true but to say he wasn't making any money off his

  • 30:51

i don't believe that for a second he was getting paid well yeah i guess maybe well he's

  • 30:56

bankrupt and they say that his music catalog is now worth negative 3 million

  • 31:03

damn i don't know how that could possibly be no but out of my wheelhouse

  • 31:08

uh i could see it being worth nothing but negative implying that means you oh you owe

  • 31:14

i don't i don't know maybe i guess i don't see how that's possible though negative two million dollars what he's worth that's his worth uh oh that's his

  • 31:21

worth his worth well i can see that because he's got legal fees out the [ __ ] ass well did he sell his catalog

  • 31:26

i don't know we should investigate this let's see what's going on with our kelly's catalog and is there still value in it because

  • 31:33

i'm i'm certain that there's plenty of people out there that feel like y'all like i'm not going to play this right

  • 31:38

but somebody out there is going to take a chance uh on buying that catalog right and again not for nothing he still has

  • 31:44

fans if they made the the money the proceeds from this [ __ ] go to a good

  • 31:49

place then we might be able to play at least the [ __ ] that he wasn't on vocally and feel okay about it

  • 31:56

yeah i didn't even feel good about it when you said that yeah won't like i keep thinking what would happen if some of my favorite r b acts were to even

  • 32:02

redo some of these records how would i feel and i'm not i'm not sure i'm not sure i don't i don't know

  • 32:08

the answer they wouldn't even do it like right now it's they just staying away from them completely yeah like you see here

  • 32:15

someone he r kelly is trying to sell his publishing rights but no one will buy them and a potential buyer said we

  • 32:20

wouldn't go near it with a 10-foot pole yeah but it only takes one yeah yeah and it only takes enough for that [ __ ] to

  • 32:26

drop to being worthless for someone to say yeah i'll buy it for [ __ ] yeah i'll take pennies yeah i'll take it

  • 32:32

yeah no i mean you see like and again like i said he still has fans at the same time like there were people outside

  • 32:38

the courthouse after the guilty verdict hooked up bluetooth speakers started blasting his music and we're chanting

  • 32:44

that we got you back r kelly free r kelly all of that like he still has a fan base it might not be as big as it

  • 32:51

once was he still has a fan base though everyone hasn't turned their back on they said his attorney said that the

  • 32:57

guilty verdict was a surprise to him

  • 33:02

he must not have seen the video he must not not have seen none of the r kelly doc yeah

  • 33:07

yeah i knew god i knew then he must not have been paying close attention to anything r kelly

  • 33:14

related these past 20 years 25 years yeah

  • 33:19

yeah this is just and you know he's going to appeal we'll keep you we'll keep you posted with what's happening here people are probably are kellyed out

  • 33:25

prayers up to all the victims man yes i mean most important yes yes prayers to the victims

  • 33:33

and prayers to the kelly family yeah

  • 33:39

oh no i'm just talking about for whatever sick stuff is being kept kept in the family

  • 33:47

like we don't know that they're all sickos so i mean that's you know i don't know that's tricky

  • 33:54

it don't take but for so many sickos to be in the family for the entire family to need prayer oh no doubt that's what

  • 33:59

i'm saying yeah i don't i don't know i'm agreeing with the prayer of the family but all of all them stories that the brother told yeah up there when i was

  • 34:05

locked up right yeah and if he didn't say nothing you could just kind of look yeah and see oh

  • 34:11

yes there's something going on here yeah there was there was a lot going on there and it's been for a long time

  • 34:16

yeah so prayers to the victim prayers to the victims in the kelly family

  • 34:22

she's trying to have some compassion it's a real sad story it is really really sad story uh we'll keep you posted with

  • 34:28

uh the book that they throw at arkell you know a big one that's coming his way oh yeah um

  • 34:34

andrea andrea martin didn't like to wake up i didn't like waking up to that news i saw it last

  • 35:31

swvs you're the one all of those are my favorite songs she was incredible man she was incredible

  • 35:38

she was one of the first people i worked with uh d the old dnd she was doing her songwriting session

  • 35:43

with charles and that was like the first time i ever was in like a real songwriting session too and i was like this this [ __ ] is

  • 35:50

incredible it's happening and this isn't even for her this is for her to shop to someone else like what are you talking about

  • 35:55

she was definitely uh one of the more fun sessions i've been a part of uh for

  • 36:01

those that don't know she was the vocalist on making a murder and she was a character man

  • 36:08

she was a character in that session that was toward the end of my career so i was kind of like i wasn't with all the funny

  • 36:14

[ __ ] in the studio yeah like just come and do this [ __ ] and go but she was such a ball of life

  • 36:20

like she was really getting in my head about the verse and the lyrics and like really trying i'm like trying to really

  • 36:25

make a song out of this thing i just want to diss this [ __ ] and go

  • 36:31

oh but she was just excited she was excited like she was a part of the beef yeah but she just really made herself a

  • 36:37

part of the session we had a blast we had a blast in there she was a lot of fun to work with man i'm thankful to

  • 36:43

have worked with her a bunch of times and she was always fun charismatic awesome and then just absolutely

  • 36:49

incredible with the pen and melody and vocally like her demos it wasn't some [ __ ] like she could sing sing

  • 36:55

sing no i know ian's got kind of he's got he's got this club song of hers that he

  • 37:00

plays often that i love he won't give it to me yeah it's a great great great record hopefully the public

  • 37:05

could get a chance to hear it sometime soon rest in peace andrew we love you uh we miss you we celebrate you

  • 37:12

thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you for your contributions um there are no there are no details on

  • 37:20

on her death but good yeah just keep it like that yeah everything

  • 37:26

everything ain't for for everybody else yeah not at all yeah i totally i definitely agree with that

  • 37:31

all right i have to be put out on display and it doesn't matter nope she's not here rest in peace we thank

  • 37:38

her for everything and then the family can keep the details to themselves if they want all right where do we want to go i'm not

  • 37:45

even looking at the list i'm just going do we want to do miguel's

  • 37:50

divorce breakup split do we want to do our

  • 37:56

one year anniversary of being independent from spotify oh is that is that today not today but it's september

  • 38:02

it's september we left last september we have officially been on our own

  • 38:08

independent for a year and boy what a year boy what a year

  • 38:14

it has been yeah so that hit me over the weekend and i took a moment to reflect on it uh

  • 38:20

i was proud i was yeah proud of us proud of y'all uh proud of myself just as i sat and

  • 38:27

thought about where podcasting sits where it was where it's going

  • 38:33

one of those mushy moments in my head but yeah deservedly so of all the podcasts out there not too many that

  • 38:40

can do it like this that and that stand independent see that's the important part i'm not

  • 38:46

gonna just celebrate that music and not celebrate the importance of it in podcasting especially if you understand

  • 38:52

it so to be gone for a year and really look at the year and all that

  • 38:58

you've gone through in the year all of the hurdles all of the pit stops all the people that have come and go all

  • 39:05

the business the checks that have come and go the company is just the month off you took from youtube it's

  • 39:11

been a year yeah it has been a year so it has it sure i'm gonna hit round they

  • 39:16

hit the button hit the round of applause i deserve that [ __ ] for just seeing something sticking to it

  • 39:24

and being able to stand firm in that and living with the results and i'm proud of where we land a year later

  • 39:29

uh so i'm happy about that also it got me to thinking you know what the hell going on in

  • 39:35

spotify see that just sounds like i'm being nosy but i'm not i feel like it has been a little quiet

  • 39:41

right see huh that could be one of two things

  • 39:47

they gearing up they're gearing up or they're coasting i mean it's just my job as a podcaster

  • 39:53

to think about these things i know the fans because of uh my previous relationship with spotify yeah why are

  • 39:58

you talking about that [ __ ] but they're still responsible for like a really large part of podcasting yeah absolutely

  • 40:04

so you kind of they're big in our uh ascension so

  • 40:10

they helped in our ascension no they did yeah no no they definitely definitely definitely did

  • 40:16

i don't know what they're doing and i don't want to i don't want to get to speculating but there's something going on out there

  • 40:22

yeah i would imagine there's something going on out there i got too much juice when it's too quiet yeah

  • 40:28

when it's too quiet it just seems like you know you don't give one dude 100 million dollars and then give somebody else 60

  • 40:34

million dollars for it to be this quiet i'll tell you what though i'm noticing

  • 40:39

because i see even spotify is doing it now with the podcast subscriptions everybody's offering a way for

  • 40:47

if you have any type of following you can get paid from it

  • 40:52

like and when you realize that you start to really see why you're seeing the things that you're

  • 40:57

seeing from people from influencers taste makers from podcasters yeah you see it

  • 41:03

you get it it's brand building it's like yo if i can build this see before it was just

  • 41:09

you would build the brand and then you would hope somebody would come to you and

  • 41:14

you know let you sell mattresses yeah yeah i'll get you to sell this or you know i'll give you a couple pennies for

  • 41:19

you to post it you know you can turn some money off of it that way right but then what started to happen was you

  • 41:24

could build the brand and just sell your whatever you built your brand on directly to your fans right

  • 41:31

well in between that was building the brand and then selling it to a spotify or a different company for them to do what they pleased with what

  • 41:37

they do yeah now it's like you you get to keep your your brand

  • 41:43

and you can charge them directly right so i like it but i said like i said everybody twitter's been quiet too

  • 41:50

twitter's doing it twitter's doing the same thing there's a lot of quiet in the tech and you just gotta be able

  • 41:55

to get something from quiet twitter's been quiet and i know they offer that monetization program too if

  • 42:02

you make some of your tweets private they'll pay you perfect is that happening it's it started it's um it's now called super follows i believe it is

  • 42:09

and you can you can charge a premium i remember them talking about it

  • 42:15

but i don't think i've seen it it's out yeah and then the other thing they do now is ticketed spaces so you know they

  • 42:20

have the the spaces thing in there yeah well now you can sell tickets oh no [ __ ] it'll be a private space and only people

  • 42:27

that purchase tickets can enter the space spotify rolled out some some form of tipping system i don't

  • 42:34

think it lasted too long but they rolled something out too apple did their subscription thing i

  • 42:40

can't really speak too much on that either it's just fun to watch i think see look

  • 42:46

i can't even get into this right now for me like i'm on the outside looking at all of that but i saw to me it seemed

  • 42:52

like once you saw the popularity of patreon and only fans because those are

  • 42:57

the two that you saw everybody pushing to when you saw that all these other companies said oh no no no

  • 43:03

we can do that too we can do it too yeah sell it right here you don't have to go anywhere else

  • 43:10

right you don't build a new fan base with the fan base you built here whatever you wanted to sell them sell it through here so we can take a percentage

  • 43:16

rather than you go do it over there that's why it's interesting because with all of these different platforms seem to

  • 43:22

be uh seemingly incentivizing you to stay independent

  • 43:27

there are more and more people that just will not stay independent well i think a lot of people it just

  • 43:33

comes from not knowing anything about business or the business and it just says hey i put my trust in the company or

  • 43:40

they just get offered a bag and they're like [ __ ] we'll take the bag yeah yeah i make x amount of dollars yeah i

  • 43:47

just take the bag and then i don't have any this covers that or is substantially more than that [ __ ] it i don't worry about it i don't

  • 43:54

have to worry about it yeah not mad at that approach too me neither everybody one thing i've noticed is

  • 44:00

everybody's not meant to be an owner true like everybody can't be owners right you

  • 44:06

gotta have workers it's a lot of it's a lot of work anything i don't mean in this space or

  • 44:11

just anything you can't have everybody be the owner we popularized

  • 44:17

owning your own [ __ ] here a lot we talked about it a lot anyway i think that like some of the popularity of the

  • 44:22

conversation but there's a lot that comes with it and you can attest to it with the year that you've had fam i'll tell you i've had a

  • 44:28

year i hear y'all talk about you know owning your own pot y'all know i started my own podcast yeah a couple years back

  • 44:34

yeah shout out to be a true shout to be sheesh oh i gotta tell you a story about [ __ ] she blocked me

  • 44:39

being b got shaky you'll be beatrice yeah everybody tell me just don't block

  • 44:44

me dude no no no he'd be foul sometimes but go ahead you're telling

  • 44:50

even with that like i didn't know so much came into owning your own podcast yeah fam it was so much [ __ ] that i'm

  • 44:56

responsible for that i had to do that i just did not feel didn't feel like doing didn't have the time to do and didn't

  • 45:02

know it took that much and not only that hey learning what i have to do like you

  • 45:08

you're doing [ __ ] and there's a lot more that you got to do that you don't know that you gotta do i didn't even get that far right i got

  • 45:14

step one and was like damn i gotta worry about all of this right and i'm still well i don't got time for

  • 45:20

this [ __ ] right so i get it and let alone even if you did know what to do where to find the people to do the

  • 45:25

things correct so there's a lot it's a lot that comes with ownership i was a year ahead of my planning i'm no

  • 45:31

i'm typically ahead so that doesn't shock me but when 2021 got here in my head i said

  • 45:38

i'm not playing this year i'm not even playing with the year 2020 held me in the house it was quarantined it was

  • 45:44

covid it was death's pain loss 20 20 uh 20 21 i'm on their ass work

  • 45:51

non-stop watch how much i get done and god had other plans [Music]

  • 45:59

i kind of love when that happens though i do some people respond negatively when god

  • 46:05

shows you a different route or that you on the wrong route or that certain people weren't who you

  • 46:10

believed them to be or that that plan or relationship that you had faith in

  • 46:16

that faith was maybe misplaced or in the wrong spot some people respond really negatively to that i'm the exact

  • 46:22

opposite and i know i'm weird in that but i thank god that he shows me things early

  • 46:29

rather than late like i could have stayed in that bad spot thinking that that was the place to

  • 46:35

be and it could have turned out really really bad so god had a really rude awakening for me

  • 46:40

this year and my all of my plans had to get pushed back and what i thought was going to be a

  • 46:45

year of innovation and pushing boundaries and

  • 46:51

progression and growth and maturity and just the entire gang

  • 46:56

growing it was a year of hurdles

  • 47:02

it was a year of poor interaction it was a year of reflecting on mistakes things we could

  • 47:08

have done better things i could have done better it's been a year of lawyer games man

  • 47:14

man man i'm saying this with my owner hat on

  • 47:20

boy it's been a lot of attorney games being played from

  • 47:25

    people creators podcasters people with

  • 47:30

hidden agendas and motives and sometimes when you get so engulfed into work

  • 47:36

you're the last to know mm-hmm like it usually happens that way

  • 47:42

yeah like when i started my career uh i was asking webbing idiot how how do i know when i'm hot how do i know when

  • 47:47

i'm hot when i'm hot when i'm hot and they said you'll be the last of them works the same for when you cold

  • 47:54

like when you're dealing with when you're dealing with a profession that involves the opinion to so many other people and and just how you're perceived

  • 48:01

and received you'll be the last to know some [ __ ] so this year while it was head down to

  • 48:07

the finish line work work work i just missed some things i missed some things and i was glad that god showed them to

  • 48:13

me and not just me but the guys that were sitting here with me like the result was the same the path

  • 48:20

was just different like today in hindsight i do feel like a lot of the things that happened this

  • 48:25

year especially with the old squad were necessary for everybody to grow

  • 48:32

so yeah that's growth it's just gonna happen differently

  • 48:37

it's not gonna happen pain-free the way you may have envisioned right

  • 48:42

it's not gonna happen comfortably the way that you may have thought

  • 48:49

last friday i was going to come in here and have some fun with that little picture that was circulating but i could tell that nobody nobody was really in

  • 48:55

the mood to really get to the shits last week but boy i'm having fun reading the comments

  • 49:00

under those uh that me and rory picture that's just oh the one from the party or whatever yeah yeah

  • 49:06

and it's hilarious look at this picture i was gonna talk about this on patreon

  • 49:11

but this is just funny but i when i this picture adds to

  • 49:16

you know i see it i see it when i play back playback my year and i'm talking about my year in terms of just trying to

  • 49:23

get other podcasts started trying to develop a network uh trying to act as the conduit between

  • 49:30

    companies and creators like y'all said a lot of [ __ ] comes with that ownership [ __ ]

  • 49:36

and i can't say that i saw it all coming i didn't so i didn't want to take this time to

  • 49:42

thank god thank you god man i know we're not at the end of the year yet but we're close enough to it and we keep

  • 49:48

going through loss and people keep leaving so i don't want to miss a chance to say

  • 49:54

thank you for just the year for me and my family making it through for you guys yeah ice and ish

  • 50:00

with the audible that was called for these guys stepping up for the behind the scenes youtube and just

  • 50:07

all everybody just stepping up everybody having the ability to step up it wasn't easy it wasn't because we

  • 50:13

kept trucking bam it was not easy i mean i know it wasn't easy for y'all

  • 50:18

but there's a side like me and ish i'm sure it was very difficult for y'all night and day yeah like like somebody

  • 50:25

like me i have i'm a very i plan everything out i have my work week

  • 50:31

not work day work week planned out i know what i'm doing i know what time like i have with my family i know what's

  • 50:37

going on and [ __ ] just changed overnight i didn't know it would turn into this i

  • 50:44

found i gotta tell everybody joe tricked me

  • 50:50

they worked it worked but even that even in the time we set in original was

  • 50:56

yo yeah i'm gonna need you to do this for a couple weeks i don't know what's going on but it's couple weeks i just need you

  • 51:01

to hold me down mm-hmm all right cool in my head that's a couple weeks but even in that i smiled thinking about

  • 51:08

even just and i know it's mushy time now it's ain't here so [ __ ] i just talk but even watching y'all's progression in

  • 51:14

what we're doing and and y'all just getting better and just getting in a groove of things like i'm happy about

  • 51:20

that or like i'm i'm i'm proud of that like i had faith in it at the beginning

  • 51:26

but it worked out even better this goes back to what i said about yo gotti because you've said for forever i'm

  • 51:32

talking this this conversation is going back 2015 maybe he's told me you need to be in

  • 51:38

podcasting yeah you just want to waste your time tweeting you said the same thing dash

  • 51:45

yo your argument if you need to be podcasted yeah you and such and such and

  • 51:52

y'all can do this but the ability to see talent in people

  • 51:57

that they might not see and then god bro guys say all right look nobody

  • 52:04

want to listen i got y'all i'ma make it happen anyway

  • 52:09

so that's what i keep hearing like i get the fans telling me again i try not to read comments but i do get a lot of

  • 52:14

tweets of people saying yo i followed you from way back when i thought this was a great fit for you

  • 52:22

right i'm glad you see it now and we see you're getting comfortable with it and

  • 52:27

y'all are getting better every week so i like to hear that like okay we're doing something right like the last

  • 52:33

thing i wanted to do i know what y'all built i know what it took to sit in these seats so the last thing i wanted

  • 52:39

to do was come in here and [ __ ] that up right like i put pressure on myself like oh god i don't want to come in here and you

  • 52:45

know what i'm saying like that it's just a lot yeah for two people that don't have

  • 52:50

media number 10 experience nothing none of that we just walking in off the street

  • 52:55

so it was a lot you all crushed it i have been crushing it hopefully we can continue to crush it

  • 53:01

    man what a [ __ ] stressful year though it's been a year

  • 53:07

it took me this year to realize that i was being looked at as a mark from a lot of people

  • 53:13

i was late to that party i just didn't know when i say a mark

  • 53:19

i mean the friend conversations turned into business conversations

  • 53:26

[Music] like i thought they may have been friend conversations but they were really business talks

  • 53:32

uh the people that would stop by my house in the morning to just spend the morning coffee with me

  • 53:38

they really wanted to run a business idea by me or something to that effect

  • 53:43

it's just been a year that see i'm getting a lot of that now

  • 53:48

even here like people that i'm used to be cool with now when they see me it's

  • 53:55

it's not cool no more it's let me run something past you let me yo let me get you to play this and like

  • 54:01

pam i thought he was cool yeah i got to be that i don't want to sound like we're having a podcaster's pity party hey man

  • 54:06

because that's not what we're doing but i reflect i reflect what a year what are

  • 54:12

you i'm thankful for it and in 2022 and like i told y'all man head down to

  • 54:17

the finish line we'll look look up in about six seven eight months and see where we sit like family two-thirds of the show left

  • 54:24

and we stayed at top pod [Music] i don't know how many other people go

  • 54:30

through that and landing that way that's true now i get out some of you might look at it all right you can

  • 54:36

[ __ ] shut up yeah but boy he's agile

  • 54:42

he land he lands pretty good and i'll be honest with you and i probably shouldn't share this with the

  • 54:47

selfish the selfishness in me right i love the fact

  • 54:53

that now any conversation i have with

  • 54:58

let's say rory it's private i like that

  • 55:04

it's selfish i know and that's the same reason so many fans are man it's like god damn we love that

  • 55:10

    [ __ ] but i'm on your business [ __ ] y'all [ __ ] y'all it's lifetime now it's time for people to do a little more

  • 55:17

evolving maturing and when you're doing that you're doing it in the confines of where you're comfortable at mind your

  • 55:23

business needs to be more mind your business boy it feels good feels good round of applause for your money [ __ ] business

  • 55:31

y'all don't have to know everything bottom line yeah i think you do i do i do

  • 55:38

i do it feels good it feels good um what else do we have i went on like this

  • 55:43

emotionally no it was good sorry sorry you guys oh this is more emotion this is more emotion here miguel

  • 55:50

and his wife uh i never knew how to pronounce her name and i don't want to mess it up yeah i'm

  • 55:56

not gonna say that but they split that sad i know it sounds like we're doing a

  • 56:02

gossip pod but boy i really believed in them i was hurt when this happened

  • 56:09

and i don't think i was the only one uh no details uh their rep put out a statement

  • 56:16

i'm always blown away by relationships with reps but i guess like that's when you're rich enough to have yeah you gotta have it yeah i mean we don't speak

  • 56:21

just talk to our rep after almost two decades together singers miguel and nazinen i'm [ __ ]

  • 56:27

her name up nazin and mandy have called it quits a representative for the couple confirmed i'm not reading what they said to people

  • 56:35

but this is just sad man this gets a big arm from me i love them i followed them both

  • 56:41

and who knows why they're split they're recently married been together forever but only been married for like three years

  • 56:48

that's why i'm just joking i hate joking i hate to be the selfish guy here

  • 56:54

but i'm a music fan oh here we go

  • 57:02

fire i can't be the only one thinking it i've ever i can't be there

  • 57:08

i can't be the only one app salute flames

  • 57:14

gunshot we missed him i missed him i missed

  • 57:21

miguel i missed miguel i already know what i think is about to

  • 57:27

occur and i cannot wait that is not to highlight whatever he's

  • 57:33

going through in this divorce because i'm sure that that's difficult but the music that we're about to receive

  • 57:39

excited amen i am amen i'm glad you said it yeah

  • 57:45

i am that's [ __ ] up right it is yeah i told you we ain't [ __ ] but we all thought it this is gonna be kaleidoscope

  • 57:51

dreams fire i know it i just know it is look at him oh it's gonna be great all right i don't

  • 57:57

have nothing to say about this i don't have nothing to say about this they were together for what 17 years or something yeah 17 years

  • 58:03

long time long time shout out to that that's a [ __ ] that's a hell of a run yeah sometimes

  • 58:08

things run their course man yeah that's all i'm not mad at it not at all you can't be mad at that

  • 58:14

we have a report saying that rihanna says that her album is going to sound completely different than fans think

  • 58:22

it's going to sound it is it's like silence yeah

  • 58:27

    because y'all not hearing [ __ ] [Music]

  • 58:32

she's giving us so many different genres i don't even know what y'all are not getting [ __ ]

  • 58:38

what genre hasn't she given us y'all are not getting [ __ ] gospel that's

  • 58:44

isis take that is isis take that's isis take that's a safe take too no i kind of okay that's a safe take

  • 58:53

oh you guys you guys you guys you guys i gotta tell you what it means you guys if

  • 58:59

it means y'all gonna be disappointed that's what it means i don't think i could be no i i know we

  • 59:05

i'm just telling you when the artist comes out and says oh man yo my album is gonna sound like nothing or or they'll

  • 59:10

say i'm experimenting with a new sound and all of this she's done literally she's wrapped she's done it top record

  • 59:16

she's done acoustic guitars when artists and then the music follows it's a prep

  • 59:22

statement she's done straight r b records she's done edm records what is she going to give us that's different a country album i want to preface

  • 59:30

my next my following statements with rihanna is on my list of people that are

  • 59:38

beyond critique fox i want to make myself clear

  • 59:44

so that there's no confusion rihanna is on a very short list of active

  • 59:50

entertainers that for me they've done too much they've grossed and netted too much

  • 59:57

they're too accomplished too talented too great and too dope and much like my lil wayne argument last week if rihanna

  • 1:00:04

decided to never record a song again she can do that it's solidified with joe

  • 1:00:09

fact it is solidified nothing she could do to change her spot

  • 1:00:15

    of greatness with joe now

  • 1:00:22

boy this is hurting me to say oh here we go it's hurting me to say it but i'm gonna

  • 1:00:27

say it it's a take that's been burning me up inside for weeks

  • 1:00:32

for weeks but i'm afraid of the navy you should be so i never and i'm in the navy we're all

  • 1:00:38

in there and i'm in the navy but i have certain beliefs when it comes

  • 1:00:43

to music that are greater than all the entertainers that occupy the game

  • 1:00:50

much like we just said about miguel mary j me you break up fire might be coming are

  • 1:00:56

you happy much like i said about nikki and meek hey you fall in love

  • 1:01:01

shika look weird [Music] all right

  • 1:01:06

[Music] come on with it i know where you going i'm just going to tell y'all

  • 1:01:14

you think we're getting a 2088 hell no that there have been signs

  • 1:01:20

to me that [ __ ] this album might sound completely

  • 1:01:26

different than we're used to hearing can i ask you a question before you

  • 1:01:32

expand on that i don't even know if i'm going to expand but go ahead did their met gala uh

  • 1:01:39

outfits have anything to do with what you think

  • 1:01:45

is the quilt for you i know rihanna to be the coolest entertainer in the world like she's just

  • 1:01:52

coolest she's the coolest she's hanging out she probably think that we've ever seen the coolest but i know goofball [ __ ] when i see it

  • 1:01:58

too and i know nobody else out there is

  • 1:02:04

gonna say it but i've been seeing some goofball [ __ ]

  • 1:02:10

circulating around rihanna now brianna because that's

  • 1:02:15

impossible for her to be goofy but i watched the fenty party

  • 1:02:21

i got to watch that stuff i watched the fenty party coming new york fashion week you had all the taste makers there i

  • 1:02:26

missed it i didn't i'm gonna watch it you know what i've seen nahs a lot of goofies oh no i didn't

  • 1:02:33

mean to put you a lot of goofies never talking about nas by the way yeah

  • 1:02:38

i didn't mean to put them lots and lots and lots

  • 1:02:44

a goofy in the amazon thing it's on amazon prime i don't know what i don't know nothing about that i don't know where is that i've just seen

  • 1:02:50

pictures footage i know some people that are fenty people um

  • 1:02:57

oh man a lot of goofy [ __ ] in there i'ma say it i'm saying it okay sorry i believe it i

  • 1:03:03

didn't say it bam say what you want i don't i'm not it only caught me because i'm not used to

  • 1:03:08

seeing goofy [ __ ] around rihanna but fine i'll keep it pushing matt

  • 1:03:14

gala outfit time i could just hear the conversation between them two getting drunk just

  • 1:03:20

getting dressed ready for this i can hear it i'm telling you something

  • 1:03:25

but no comment no comment lord knows i ain't the one to ever say

  • 1:03:31

something about these two fly ass [ __ ] and how they dress all right well but but but

  • 1:03:38

look goofy to me they're gonna tear me

  • 1:03:45

but i'm only highlighting this because rihanna has killed this carpet the last six seven years by herself she's been

exactly so now so check this out get this [ __ ] wait

  • 1:03:56

check this out check this out somebody got it so i saw a post

  • 1:04:01

uh somebody saw their met gala outfits and the dude was like yo this looks like a quilt my grandmother

  • 1:04:07

had so he was like i'm almost certain so he went back and looked through some pictures because he found out his

  • 1:04:13

grandmother gave a quilt to a thrift shop in the hood or not in the hood but whatever

  • 1:04:19

it is the quilt oh wait it is the quilt that was a salvo quilt yeah look yes wow

  • 1:04:26

it's his great grandmother's quilt is what dude was wearing at the met gala

  • 1:04:32

he's inspired by macklemore i'm seeing the footage of rihanna going to the bodegas in

  • 1:04:38

harlem with asap on the late night paparazzi there you know taking a picture she's cool she make anything

  • 1:04:44

look cool so that should look cool or

  • 1:04:51

i could just hear that conversation between them i'm telling you rihanna don't want to get out of bed let

  • 1:04:57

me shut up i can't say that they in love i celebrate the love i champion love i'm so happy for them both in love

  • 1:05:03

but when you follow all of that with yo my album is gonna sound completely different than y'all think it's gonna

  • 1:05:09

sound and then i really get to looking i'm scared

  • 1:05:15

i'm scared i don't think we're getting an album anyway as i said we're not getting album i don't think she can make something whack

  • 1:05:20

oh let me be clear in that navy

  • 1:05:26

i don't think that rihanna could do nothing whack but that he hasn't made anything

  • 1:05:31

in anything anything but that don't mean wackness don't want to be in the area of rihanna

  • 1:05:40

i want the sanctity of rihanna to still be protected even asap the sanctity of they love

  • 1:05:46

    protect that [ __ ] get this goofy [ __ ] online

  • 1:05:51

now i know they kill me every time i say something about goofy [ __ ] about people in love but that's what love is supposed

  • 1:05:56

to make you do yeah so i support that that is true but as a music fan i'm not

  • 1:06:02

talking about supporting love as a music fan i'm at the edge of my seat i am i am

  • 1:06:08

and i i do think we're getting album at some point maybe no time soon i don't think we get an album but like i said

  • 1:06:13

any any time i've seen or heard an artist say either i'm experimenting with

  • 1:06:19

something new or this is a new sound or it's gonna sound like nothing i've ever done before it's like they prepping you

  • 1:06:25

to be let down meaning if you go into it thinking anything

  • 1:06:32

you're going to be let down yeah but sometimes it's a it's a i'm doing my uh jesus i'm doing my

  • 1:06:38

    whatever experimental [ __ ] like i said she's done so many different things i don't know i didn't say it that's what

  • 1:06:44

i'm you don't know what you're gonna get with a yay album that's right he don't go out there and tell you hey i'm experimenting with something new

  • 1:06:50

he's staying firm in it yeah he just pop out and let you know this is it and i'm doubling and tripling down on it

  • 1:06:56

i'm talking about the artist that'll come out and say yo i'm doing something a little different this time yo she did that

  • 1:07:02

sound like she giving us she about to give us power a couple records 2088

  • 1:07:08

no don't disrespect like that man don't disrespect who don't disrespect 2088 like that

  • 1:07:18

see what all right all right

  • 1:07:23

let's go oh okay let's go let's move on man let's just go let's just go do you like that [ __ ] like that yes oh my

  • 1:07:28

goodness hell yes i need therapy maybe

  • 1:07:35

    hold up y'all don't like 2088 i i couldn't get it i didn't think about that oh these two

  • 1:07:42

but walking hands holding hands walking down the [ __ ] street

  • 1:07:50

oh my goodness come on say something

  • 1:07:58

[Applause] all right man god got some more topics coming your way

  • 1:08:06

speaking of love jaden will more love more love yo just cancel the whole part

  • 1:08:13

    that's it [ __ ] it uh jayden will

  • 1:08:20

will did an interview with gq about everything yeah that's what i got for you yeah of everything all the intimate

  • 1:08:26

details about his marriage the unconventional ways in which they chose to marry

  • 1:08:32

or maintain their marriage uh what else did he talk about i don't know

  • 1:08:39

there was a lot of i'm trying to just provide i'm trying to not be so grumpy anymore i'm not grumpy like i'd be in a

  • 1:08:44

good mood so y'all get to ask me about things i told y'all two years ago

  • 1:08:50

enough was enough didn't i and everybody that i sat in the room with was like oh joe what do you mean shut the [ __ ] up

  • 1:08:56

you grumpy you crazy crazy and now look yo just go chill out

  • 1:09:03

yeah what is wrong with people just sit down somewhere relax will smith

  • 1:09:10

[Music] i love you we all love will see i'm not dope enough

  • 1:09:16

to say the things about the people that i'd be saying when the fans say that you're right i should shut the [ __ ] up but i can't

  • 1:09:23

because this [ __ ] has been lucrative for me i'm gonna continue talking to you yeah and i was doing is broke too y'all

  • 1:09:29

    wasn't telling me shut up then [ __ ]

  • 1:09:34

why do we have to hear about this that's [ __ ] up to say that a man i always say

  • 1:09:39

that men suppress themselves and they don't share and they can't be vulnerable and then will smith does it and i say

  • 1:09:45

    shut the [ __ ] up it's hypocritical i do understand it's hypocritical

  • 1:09:50

we're all hypocrites what do you suppose anybody gains

  • 1:09:57

from telling the intimate details of your marriage and the fights that you had about birthday parties

  • 1:10:04

who get like i can see like okay okay great if i say this then maybe someone else is going through it they're going

  • 1:10:10

to cancel this pun just cancel the whole thing yeah

  • 1:10:18

it's like their version of like some [ __ ] therapy it's like telling somebody yo

  • 1:10:23

everything don't have to be the way you think it is like like traditional marriage doesn't necessarily have to be

  • 1:10:29

that you got to figure out what works for you this is what works for us it might not be the same for you it could

  • 1:10:36

be something totally different but i'm telling you what we went through where we got to and why we are good now

  • 1:10:44

because of this that's what that's what i get from it it's just like they just passing off information

  • 1:10:50

this is a quote from him we have given each other trust and freedom with the belief that everybody has to find their own way and marriage for us can't be

  • 1:10:57

prison and i don't suggest our road for anybody he added but the experience is that the freedoms that we've given one

  • 1:11:03

another and the unconditional support to me is the highest definition of love

  • 1:11:09

[Music] [Applause] all right well no no i feel you on that it seems a

  • 1:11:16

little bit rocky no i smell you there it seems like a lot it seems like a lot

  • 1:11:22

it's like an open relationship essentially did i tell you what it sound like to me sure

  • 1:11:28

this was her plan all right [ __ ] it i'm going along with it it seems like she's been

  • 1:11:34

it will i told you last part this foot down so i got to do

  • 1:11:41

it seems like she's been pulling the strings calling the shots in the relationship ain't august still

  • 1:11:46

running around alive i mean he should be alive

  • 1:11:52

but i mean talk to him not gq sound like he finally watched his red

  • 1:11:58

table interview back i gotta address some of this [ __ ] i'm looking crazy out here in these streets

  • 1:12:04

two years later like he was a little tardy but he was like nah i gotta redirect some of that energy i gotta really explain what was going on

  • 1:12:11

kinky ass [ __ ] i ain't mad at him what i'm not mad at him i'm not mad at will

  • 1:12:17

i love will i'm kinky too so [ __ ] i'm gonna say hey listen whatever work man i i don't think anybody need to know but

  • 1:12:23

if that was your reason for telling me i'm trying to get out of the way of poc birthday

  • 1:12:28

park got a birthday coming that's june yeah he believes he must have found out about our plans for his birthday this year

  • 1:12:44

emancipation of the proclamation oh yeah he was talking about slave movies django he was giving it up

  • 1:12:50

about everything hey man shout outs to will he is this oversharing

  • 1:12:57

oh absolutely yeah will is only 52. that's so young yeah it's too young for

  • 1:13:03

this it's too young for him to come out with this memoir about his marriage and the

  • 1:13:08

undisclosed details of how they was getting down no no but [ __ ] we've seen the august

  • 1:13:14

interview we've seen we know what it we know that's her platform i got to get my

  • 1:13:19

side up so [ __ ] know what it is i gotta get my [ __ ] off i went on her platform

  • 1:13:27

i mean with the red eyes crying memed anybody you could have found a blue table

  • 1:13:32

you could have did your own [ __ ] purple maybe will you have my my support as a man as a husband as a father

  • 1:13:40

like i'm sure he's going through something he needs some support yeah why do you think he's talking to gq

  • 1:13:47

i mean if she throw pocket surprise party this year or august

  • 1:13:54

no august ain't getting no damn party after that after his little shenanigans

  • 1:13:59

she's been playing it cool this whole time she's just been cool or whatever august

  • 1:14:05

no that's the that's the lion that's the lion that's what i love no i'm trying to learn how to love trying to learn how to love better yeah

  • 1:14:11

i mean [ __ ] i only love better i get some compassion from the crowd out there shout out to will shout out to jada i

  • 1:14:17

don't i'm certainly not trying to disrespect anything they got going on but you're not just no of course not but will but i mean at the same time like

  • 1:14:23

you made you made for real with all this monetization

  • 1:14:29

stuff and with all this platform stuff and with all these tricks and cgi and all this [ __ ] y'all

  • 1:14:36

doing nobody seems to have the time to shut the [ __ ] up

  • 1:14:46

kyrie irving well before we get to kyrie new york hospitals

  • 1:14:52

get rid of all nurses and doctors anybody that's not vaccinated this was

  • 1:14:58

uh friday over the weekend that's nuts to me it's not surprising to me

  • 1:15:04

new york's largest hospital system northwell health began sacking staff who refused to get their coronavirus vaccine

  • 1:15:10

shots as governor kathy ho chul refused to yield on her monday deadline for health worker uh

  • 1:15:17

incalations i can't see make it bigger inoculation inoculations ho cool i might be jacking this name up

  • 1:15:24

stuck to her guns as many of as many of the state's major hospital and government employee unions continued

  • 1:15:29

their court battle to get the mandates tossed i know a lot of people that work in this field and

  • 1:15:36

it definitely was a topic of conversation for sure hell yes and it's in the uh schools too there's a lot of

  • 1:15:41

places but though but the hospitals like that's the front line right well yeah that's

  • 1:15:47

why i'm confused at your confusion it seemed like if i had to pick one spot that people should be vaccinated it

  • 1:15:53

would be the hospitals no yeah but you talking about they talk about

  • 1:16:01

80 000 plus losing their jobs like you need these people there

  • 1:16:06

that's the part i'm lost on like you i don't think under no circumstance can you just fire off everybody in the

  • 1:16:12

    hospitals well it's not everybody you're right it's not everybody but like i said 80 000 i believe i don't know the

  • 1:16:19

exact number they said 86. a lot of people i wonder what the percentage is that's a lot though it's a lot of people

  • 1:16:25

for sure how many you need the hospitals like like in a pandemic that's what i'm saying but

  • 1:16:32

if they need more workers they'll run some program or pass some law that says you can use unvaccinated workers for the

  • 1:16:39

next two or three days that's what they did uh last year around around uh when quarantine first started foreign

  • 1:16:53

well no they they have been telling people at least this is how it is in school districts i'm sure it's the same in the hospitals like yo this is coming

  • 1:16:59

this is coming this is hospitals and schools see those are the two places where i would assume

  • 1:17:04

they would implement this yeah military schools we can't play with the kids and they're sending out those shock waves of

  • 1:17:10

of the headlines saying hey it's safe for the kids to take the vaccination kids ages five through eleven like they

  • 1:17:16

said they letting you know what their agenda is yes and you know they was gonna make it to the kids at some point because they forced feeding [ __ ] on

  • 1:17:22

everybody now regardless how you feel about it you have to be aware that to be a part of society at least in

  • 1:17:28

new york starting now yeah yeah that has to happen you have to be vaccinated um

  • 1:17:33

i was out last night with uh berg and a few his people he's supposed to be coming by at some point today

  • 1:17:38

and he was like yo what's going on let's go get something to eat let's turn up for a little bit i was like yeah where do you wanna go he's like well i got my

  • 1:17:43

man with me he's not vaccinated he ain't got no cards so and i'm like well [ __ ] don't talk to me about a turn up then yeah you can't go in new york

  • 1:17:50

we can't move around if you don't have a card so well it's a fake card let me ask you so cause i know you you frequent a

  • 1:17:57

couple new york spots once they pass that you gotta show your frequency every now and then when i get when i get a

  • 1:18:02

minute to myself i'll step out frequently i don't know if i'm frequent no frequent means a lot no frequently

  • 1:18:08

means a lot in any case wait frequent doesn't mean a lot it means

  • 1:18:14

you go there you go yeah but i think it means you go there more than yeah exactly thank you very much but go ahead you visit a couple spots yeah you go i

  • 1:18:21

like that you visit a few be in and out when you board don't spend too much time money today don't give your phone about no dates no

  • 1:18:28

[ __ ] no no dick showing no rubbing touching okay no none of that no none of that well i wanted to ask you

  • 1:18:34

though so like even the turnip spots they make you show your card to walk in the door yes yes

  • 1:18:41

yeah even the dive bars and i'm gonna get a drink if they don't have bouncers a lot of them have bouncer that do it right at the door but if they don't

  • 1:18:48

bartender before they give you a drink let me see your thingy thing and a lot of the strippers and the bartenders are against the vaccination so we're seeing

  • 1:18:54

how that plays out in that field now they got one bartender per bar they don't normally do that uh not so many

  • 1:19:00

patrons in there maybe they come really late like businesses are being affected by this rule it's not just the hospitals

  • 1:19:06

wow i didn't know it was like that in new york i don't i don't you know partake in new york that much sure we was out this

  • 1:19:11

weekend and it was it wasn't that [ __ ] was packed and bars was packed up maybe i fell for

  • 1:19:17

the conditioning i don't really don't want to be around nobody's not vaccinated yeah i don't i mean i've seen

  • 1:19:22

    unless it's an outdoor type of [ __ ] oh i don't even wanna do that yeah i don't i don't want to be around you i don't trust you [ __ ] none of them and it's

  • 1:19:29

crazy because it could be conditioning because they say you can still hit it with you know like why would why

  • 1:19:35

would it bother us if a person is not vaccinated we can all still catch it but

  • 1:19:40

they may die you know no no that's not what i've seen see and that's ignorant i've seen people argue that side but

  • 1:19:46

i've literally seen the opposite i've seen the unvaccinated

  • 1:19:52

carry the [ __ ] to people that are vaccinated and going out of their way to avoid all smoke okay and then they catch

  • 1:20:00

it and because of their pre-existing health they pass now granted yes you unvaccinated you good you got the

  • 1:20:06

antibodies you ain't been affected cool but that don't have nothing to do with your loved ones and and we don't know

  • 1:20:12

what everybody's pre-existing health condition is right it's not like that's written down in people's bios correct so

  • 1:20:18

they just they they saying everybody take this [ __ ] i'm assuming for that

  • 1:20:24

reason because we don't know how us carrying it could affect the next person so that's important for society okay

  • 1:20:30

what i'm saying is a little different give it to me all right so let's use us three for example you got it we're all

  • 1:20:35

vaccinated right well yeah but let's just say for this for what i'm trying to say parks you're not vaccinated okay

  • 1:20:41

joe you and i are so the way it's explained they say they tell you to get the vaccine

  • 1:20:47

so that the symptoms and everything aren't as severe correct

  • 1:20:52

and it lowers your chances of getting less profitability yes of symptoms being severe or getting it all and yeah from

  • 1:20:59

what i'm being told from reading from [ __ ] articles yeah now you can

  • 1:21:05

let's say you're out somewhere else you can still get it even if you're vaccinated yes

  • 1:21:11

so i'm saying is being around an unvaccinated person knowing that i could still get it it's

  • 1:21:17

almost like if you're not vaccinated you're putting yourself at risk i could still pick it up from somewhere else it

  • 1:21:22

won't affect me as bad if my loved ones are vaccinated it don't affect them as bad this is i'm just going off the

  • 1:21:28

information they're giving us but you not being vaccinated if you catch it it could be possibly more

  • 1:21:33

severe for you and fatal for you uh-huh so in that case i would be like hey you

  • 1:21:38

don't want it and me but why for you because because you increased because you increased my probability of catching

  • 1:21:45

it and with my pre-existing symptoms you don't know how that could affect me yes yes i could still catch this on my own

  • 1:21:52

anywhere yes and hopefully but the change my antibodies along with my vaccine and my mask and whatever

  • 1:21:58

precautions i'm taking is enough to get me through i guess my question is are they saying like there's a there's a

  • 1:22:03

deadlier version that you can catch from someone who is unvaccinated or something no is it all the same no they're just

  • 1:22:09

learning in real time they're learning in real time and yeah you get what i'm cause to me

  • 1:22:15

if if that's the case if if i'm vaccinated and i can still catch it

  • 1:22:20

elsewhere or from in here one of you could have picked it up somewhere else and still catch it

  • 1:22:26

but me being vaccinated whether i catch it from a vaccinated or unvaccinated person it all depends on my

  • 1:22:32

pre-existing conditions etc etc right then if you choose not to get vaccinated that's on you

  • 1:22:39

you playing with your life see it's not that simple like and i know people just kind of i'm just trying people try to make it be that simple

  • 1:22:45

but when it's dad and daughter it's not that simple when it's mother and son it can't be that simple when it's uh two

  • 1:22:50

sisters aging together it can't be that simple when like it can't be that simple with and we know people that have their

  • 1:22:55

moms in nursing homes right now correct so your belief could be your belief but what you're gonna do now i see your mom

  • 1:23:01

you're not gonna hug your mom ever again you're not gonna go in there like everybody is faced with how the decision

  • 1:23:08

affects them but everybody will be affected everybody will be affected i know too many people

  • 1:23:14

that hey we're gonna sit right here in this house i think about fred to god's son all the time because he being

  • 1:23:20

somebody who may have been overweight may have had pre-existing health conditions

  • 1:23:27

i picture him being under his best behavior to try to avoid that [ __ ] right

  • 1:23:32

and he guided and died right rest in peace praised his family his wife his children

  • 1:23:38

but i could i know people that because of how they live they're doing their best

  • 1:23:44

to stay clear of any and anybody but you can't when there are millions of

  • 1:23:50

people running around saying hey well you can still catch it hey me me not having it don't keep you no safer like

  • 1:23:56

nah if i'm fred the gods i don't want to hear that [ __ ] in that case then put me in a bunker

  • 1:24:02

somewhere keep all people away because now it's a matter of life and death i don't want to get too passionate here

  • 1:24:07

because your beliefs are your beliefs consult with your local physician yeah get with your people don't listen to no

  • 1:24:12

podcasts about life and death matters please do what's best for you unfortunately we

  • 1:24:18

keep we keep having to have this conversation because it keeps affecting different areas now we got kyrie irving

  • 1:24:24

saying yo i'm not taking no vaccine uh this earth is how many years old and

  • 1:24:30

it's giving us all the remedies that we need why do i have to do this and now as a result the nets are saying well we

  • 1:24:36

don't know how many games kyrie irving can play well i believe it was uh i think it was andrew wiggins if i'm not

  • 1:24:42

mistaken they already said he can't play uh golden state home games vocals because

  • 1:24:48

they kind of wanted him to play none of the games anyway so i mean not a huge loss there

  • 1:24:55

    that's horrible andrew wiggins i love you i'm sorry man that's [ __ ] up that's [ __ ] up that wasn't right but

  • 1:25:01

you know they've been trying to trade him for a bag of doritos for a little while now but yeah hey philly called up golden

  • 1:25:08

state was like you want ben simmons i was like no nah no keep his ass in philly oh man

  • 1:25:15

i don't know the answer i'm not a [ __ ] doctor i just know that it's gonna be difficult to to move around and

  • 1:25:20

i do feel like in many of the cases i won't say a lot of the cases people

  • 1:25:27

are being anti to be anti i agree with that and there's a real reason for it it's

  • 1:25:33

just not a government said do it right i'm not doing it but i do everything else the government

  • 1:25:38

says but i'm not going to do i got every other vaccine they gave out and i don't know man you can do what you

  • 1:25:44

want with your body but it's going to be difficult to move around that's see and that was my stance

  • 1:25:49

on it's like if i if if it was yo if you have the vaccine you

  • 1:25:54

can't catch it or transmit it we know that then i'm like though everybody needs to get it but if i understand the other

  • 1:26:01

side if somebody says yo whether i got the vaccine or don't got the vaccine you could still catch it

  • 1:26:07

and i choose not to in that case i say you know what you do what you want to do in thoughts and prayers

  • 1:26:12

if i hope it don't get to that point for you but if it does that's the decision you made you live with it

  • 1:26:18

hey the knicks if y'all can get something done with kyrie for unvaccinated kyrie where he could

  • 1:26:24

play in like only the playoffs i'll take it hey they tried they was talking about it ben for kyrie and then katie shut

  • 1:26:30

that down yes he should we just took that though he should have showed it

  • 1:26:37

you can come on over to madison square garden for like three months out the year i'll take it ben would work in uh

  • 1:26:43

in new jersey in brooklyn he would work anywhere where he don't got to shoot the ball um anywhere with a

  • 1:26:48

scorer exactly hey you told sixers yo dawg don't even fly over here yeah that was nice don't even come talk to me my

  • 1:26:54

decision is made players was like yo we're gonna go out there and meet with us and if y'all gonna fly don't bring him b don't [ __ ] with him y'all seeing

  • 1:27:00

how i was this year with him y'all gonna bring him out here to my malibu [ __ ] with my giant maya jump no

  • 1:27:06

no no no all right no stay over there you what's the other [ __ ] name that took took the money uh uh what's

  • 1:27:12

powerful name likes to do life's gonna do oh

  • 1:27:20

round of applause for michael porter jr got the bag there's a few people that were sick this weekend

  • 1:27:28

i was one of them when michael porter jr signed this five-year extension for over two or two

  • 1:27:35

hundred million dollars i was home sick as a knick fan but not as sick as kevin knox

  • 1:27:43

[Music] been a lot of talk on about our dennis schroeder

  • 1:27:49

and all of that money that he turned down but man if i'm the knicks i am sick to

  • 1:27:54

my stomach that michael porter jr was able to float on by down to pick 13 or

  • 1:28:00

13 for 14th to the denver nuggets he's worth every penny of this yeah he

  • 1:28:06

is once he got past those back issues and the injury problems he is worth every penny of this he is for real

  • 1:28:14

and i just have nightmares about what him next to uh rj barrett and julius randle looks like

  • 1:28:21

because he's that instant offense that you need and he don't seem to be scared at the moment he was in denver saying yo

  • 1:28:26

why y'all keep giving jamal murray and yo uh jovich the ball like they're not tall murray and joe i know

  • 1:28:32

but i like that yeah see i like that type of moxie that confidence like yo why are y'all giving it to these i'm i'm

  • 1:28:39

here as a rookie or a second year player man congratulations to michael porter jr

  • 1:28:44

what you think big deal big deal what'd you think about josh gordon coming back again i don't care the chiefs i don't care

  • 1:28:51

yeah i don't care i'll tell you what he's the luckiest probably the luckiest athlete i know he's talented he's the man he's the guy

  • 1:28:58

he's not talented but you don't get that many part of being good as being lucky part of being good is being lucky

  • 1:29:04

they make examples out of josh gordon josh gordon is he's for real uh and

  • 1:29:10

hopefully now he'll be able to smoke his weed in peace that's true some of these players some of these players we've heard a lot from

  • 1:29:16

them about how we uh uh recreational or or medical has helped

  • 1:29:22

them with healing with sleep and i think that's why he's been quoted

  • 1:29:28

i think a lot of people probably don't look at weed as a a criminal thing listen behind closed doors

  • 1:29:35

obviously the laws of the laws in the league's policies of the policies but i'm sure a lot of people are league is

  • 1:29:40

private privately it's privately owned right look man my cousin darnell played offensive line for the steelers show off

  • 1:29:47

    hey shouts [ __ ] he's doing [ __ ] all right are you

  • 1:30:02

no he tried out for the jets and the giants and i think the patriots and then now he's a coach also he's a coach in

  • 1:30:08

texas but he used to tell me yo after every game he was like yo it feels like i was

  • 1:30:15

in a car accident and ejected out of the car like he was like we dr him and his

  • 1:30:20

offensive line at the time he's like yo we drink to just numb it but

  • 1:30:25

yeah i can imagine a lot of athletes especially football players yeah i got it like yo you're colliding with people

  • 1:30:31

non-stop at first sometimes you sorry [ __ ] the next day i bet you can't walk after a football yeah

  • 1:30:38

like when i didn't i never we don't think of that right yes we do i'm sore now from going up and down the stairs in the house

  • 1:30:44

i definitely think about cribs yeah but you really feel like a lazy sack of [ __ ] calling the elevator to get

  • 1:30:49

from one floor to the next i mean i do it i was getting ready to say hold on i do it but i mean i walk in the crib i'm

  • 1:30:55

walking upstairs what are you going on i am weary about it my cleaning ladies i've been stuck in there about five

  • 1:31:00

times oh that's why you don't [ __ ] with it you're gonna get stuck in there i wouldn't want to get this yeah i don't care

  • 1:31:05

i'm i'm fine where's joe i'm gonna go to sleep you see not stuck in an elevator no no give me any reason to sleep

  • 1:31:13

like on without being interrupted wait you tell me because that's what my day is like you don't get to sleep or

  • 1:31:20

chill or my whole day is talking to somebody always it's always some work [ __ ] or some

  • 1:31:25

business [ __ ] or your parents or your kids your significant other or your

  • 1:31:30

whole roster of women you have to talk to people friends friends oh my god i got friends

  • 1:31:37

i ain't spoke to in months but i'm still all my time is occupied talking to people so yeah if i can get locked in my

  • 1:31:42

elevator for a few hours [ __ ] y'all yo joe i need you yo craziest thing that's just occurred yeah i'm i'm in my

  • 1:31:49

elevator it's like stuck when my phone died sometimes i'm like well it's gonna be dead though yeah it's dead now sorry

  • 1:31:54

yeah can't allow it i never my opponents never died oh man you're you're stressed out you know let it die sometimes man

  • 1:32:01

just let it die just the thought of that [ __ ] me up like what my phone did no way or when you lose your phone like a few

  • 1:32:07

days of peace if you don't just rush to get it back on days never you should try

  • 1:32:12

it i don't even know how to lose my phone i don't know how berg think he lost his phone last night

  • 1:32:19

my maybach told my yo let me [ __ ] tear the car apart and find it no it's in there it's in there buddy

  • 1:32:33

  • 1:32:56

but somebody had to say this [ __ ] or maybe not

  • 1:33:02

maybe that's why nobody else said it i'm gonna quit podcasting because i'd be home thinking about this [ __ ] man

  • 1:38:27

with this kid when i was trying to retire y'all don't understand how much how much

  • 1:38:32

that took on the down part no i was quitting i was finished and here he comes yo i got this

  • 1:38:38

    idea 10 minutes 24 24 10 minutes long i'm like sir suck [ __ ]

  • 1:38:45

right surf is family to me i talked to his mom when he go up when he do something

  • 1:38:50

  • 1:38:58

y'all know that some of y'all know right

  • 1:39:04

and boy he's been trash i've told him that yo man you can't even

  • 1:39:10

  • 1:39:15

i skipped the topic no see i hit sir come in there you ain't got your third nope yo i feel like me

  • 1:39:22

and him been going back with this since he battle conceded when he was living with me and you battle rap is gonna have to start paying me to talk about me and

  • 1:39:30

    he's [ __ ] bad what the [ __ ] is up with y'all in a million years the joe budden's

  • 1:39:35

  • 1:39:47

i heard he i already killed him surf has been bad so i haven't been talking about him but when i say bad busy with life

  • 1:39:53

[ __ ] but i know that so when he don't show up with a third it'd be like they could be happy here

  • 1:40:01

i'm shocked to even still rapping and battle rapping and doing all this other type of [ __ ]

  • 1:40:07

cool and john john i'm keeping this on this for a little

  • 1:40:13

bit because there's a grand lesson to be learned here john john who has been great and won

  • 1:40:19

many battles and battled plenty of legendary url dudes has been calling surf out

  • 1:40:26

for years led a lot of y'all to believe that they were of the same pedigree

  • 1:40:33

of the same caliber i ran into john john in atlanta and me and him had a brief

  • 1:40:38

exchange about surf where look i ain't even know it was smoke i was like god damn i ain't know you [ __ ] like disliked

  • 1:40:44

each other and [ __ ] right and then they took the battle here's the battle we waiting to see it i was

  • 1:40:50

waiting to see it i'm like damn surf can't play around on this stage tonight because john john

  • 1:40:56

been waiting a long time he's been calling you out he's been tweeting he's been disrespecting jersey he's expected

  • 1:41:01

to set on neighborhood whatever's going i don't know

  • 1:41:07

but boy did surf set that straight a little bit of straightening yeah

  • 1:41:13

no no no no no no no no no it's a lot of

  • 1:41:24

there's a lesson to be learned here john john

  • 1:41:30

    oh [Applause]

  • 1:41:36

yo boy man why are you cooking like that this was bad

  • 1:41:42

it was bad this was bad none it was bad because john john's second round he came to fight like he has some [ __ ] in there

  • 1:41:48

i ain't here to just [ __ ] on john john he showed up but surf is surf when he surf

  • 1:41:53

and i called surf and surf say that that's been his point his point is yo i don't care how bad i've looked

  • 1:42:01

if you know that i have a 44 inch vert and if i go jump for real

  • 1:42:08

you can't jump higher the end real simple john john can't jump with me

  • 1:42:16

why was that ever a question and when surf shows up like this no you can do with this

  • 1:42:23

there's nothing you can do with this at all

  • 1:42:28

medium rare this was how did you want your meat prepared

  • 1:42:34

you got to watch this again you got to watch this again john john is like six foot five looking

  • 1:42:40

doofy in the face with surf up there talking to all these street gangs so you can't let surf get in that street gang bag

  • 1:42:46

because now what you gonna do serve got to come up here serve got to come up here that's it surf

  • 1:42:52

got to come up here we got to talk about it you gotta listen man leave certain people alone is this is the point

  • 1:43:00

that's the point just leave certain people alone let sleeping dogs lie let people just kill themselves that's

  • 1:43:05

what i used to say when [ __ ] start [ __ ] to be about to play the spurs and start talking [ __ ] it's like fam you

  • 1:43:10

want to give greg popovich some incentive to go in the locker room and get those guys riled up like why

  • 1:43:17

listen you know i always say there's a whole bar for everything right true hope tell you do not bark up that

  • 1:43:22

tree that tree will fall on you john john i don't know why your advisors

  • 1:43:28

ain't forewarning you that wasn't the one you thought you thought you know that was bad that's the

  • 1:43:34

one that wasn't even in jersey in houston yeah that's how you know this is bad they was in houston and he got

  • 1:43:40

cooking like way game yeah brother crowd chanting girls laughing girls laughing anytime i hit a crowd

  • 1:43:46

check 3-0 in the battle anytime a dude gets to sip in his water like that

  • 1:43:52

i know that look man john john we got to talk to you he gave you the business of stuff turn

  • 1:43:59

the hat around look at him surf is all the way in his bag when he do this he's hard to beat

  • 1:44:04

what do you look comfortable up there look at him look at him proud of that guy man i had to hit him

  • 1:44:11

say yo i'm proud of you and i love you man that that's it i try to mind my business but i'm happy for that guy round of applause i made

  • 1:44:17

the round of applause jersey nah he did what he was supposed to do up here

  • 1:44:26

start talking that gang [ __ ] up there on john john john john was up there wearing glasses looking silly in the face

  • 1:44:32

    oh my god

  • 1:44:38

come on let's move over y'all gonna be in trouble yo this podcast is canceled absolutely i'm telling you i'm telling

  • 1:44:44

you what's happening this is over well you get one this is probably my seventh opinion this

  • 1:44:50

part that's getting this oh yeah yeah the earlier ones yeah that's trouble here i was hacked

  • 1:44:56

yo that works that wasn't me i would use that yeah stick by that yo

  • 1:45:01

word all right all right what else we got you want to talk about uh kanye kicking

  • 1:45:08

    chris brown off the song

  • 1:45:15

no talking about it i mean listen chris came out and said all that [ __ ] calling him all types of names up

  • 1:45:22

because he took the verse and said oh you want to leave me on the background so he came out saying all this [ __ ] all

  • 1:45:27

right yeah i'll take that off to take the background off too enjoy no go find god why are these people so

  • 1:45:33

petty man why did but this is some petty [ __ ] but just why are they this petty

  • 1:45:38

i'm not mad a good question i like the version with chris like the original version yeah i got the original i think

  • 1:45:44

that's what i really do yeah i need to put it line them all up and start chopping the pieces that i like

  • 1:45:49

that's what i've been doing yeah taking versions we like from here putting it making our own songs yeah

  • 1:45:55

all right kanye took chris brown off of the new again record and they say drake made some changes to

  • 1:46:01

his album as well offroad yeah minor changes subtle changes and he took casey

  • 1:46:06

off of uh keep my spirit alive and saying the part himself that's just some kanye [ __ ]

  • 1:46:14

i'm not mad man i could have did this better yeah but thanks for giving me the words yeah

  • 1:46:22

here's your pub catch you on the next flip and i'm gonna do it again yeah

  • 1:46:28

this is kanye [ __ ] man yeah he bout to go find some more [ __ ] he could have just done himself

  • 1:46:34

all the features gonna be gone it's about to be a kanye solo album oh no he's about to just keep adding him

  • 1:46:41

i'm keeping the one with all the features go ahead yeah lined up this is a man he's gonna he's gonna do some [ __ ]

  • 1:46:47

that just left field we're just playing this album this weekend in the backyard man that's just

  • 1:46:53

i still love it i played the album in the car ride turned all the way up yeah yeah

  • 1:46:59

still love it yeah every seem like every time i play it my number goes up a little higher yeah where's it sitting

  • 1:47:04

now it's like eight started at six i don't even want to say that because they're gonna kill me what album uh

  • 1:47:11

donda oh come on man donna's up to about eight but again like i told you i've done the same thing with

  • 1:47:18

uh my beautiful dark twisted fantasy i did not like it i hated it i hated it because

  • 1:47:23

half of it was leaks that i already heard already i'm used to the leaves but again same in this instance i've had most of

  • 1:47:30

this album prior to it actually releasing and we saw it in the stadium yeah and i have

  • 1:47:36

every version so version one version two version three i'll go back and listen to them so when i get the final product

  • 1:47:41

it's like i don't really it's all right i like the original first i feel you yup i fall in

  • 1:47:46

love with the conversions of songs and then they sound different on the final version i don't like it as much demo whitis

  • 1:47:52

demarcus is real did anyone see um the raising kanan finale i did yes i did

  • 1:47:59

the bmf i didn't watch the bmf debut um i did watch the raising raisin canaan finale

  • 1:48:05

and my 50's great uh raisin cannon was really i enjoyed

  • 1:48:11

raising cayden uh bmf um yeah they got me i'm in i'm in i'm in period if it's

  • 1:48:17

50 cent you're getting me for at least the first five episodes i saw tweeting someone said that 50 is making a marvel universe

  • 1:48:23

for drug dealers but he said that oh he calls it the power the power universe is that that's what it says

  • 1:48:30

every episode power universe okay power never ends so yeah i'm gonna get branch off and do this and then do this and do

  • 1:48:36

this this is dope but the kanan finale i didn't predict any of that

  • 1:48:42

i like when i can't predict an episode i hate when i can call every step and be right the whole way then i feel like it

  • 1:48:48

was lazy i shouldn't be able to call it all yeah so i didn't think things would work out that way i'm already thinking

  • 1:48:53

about next season what's gonna happen yeah i'm this was a great show

  • 1:48:59

i enjoyed it man as far as the power aside from like season one or two of power this is probably my favorite

  • 1:49:05

power universe yeah i don't i don't the the tariq one

  • 1:49:10

i'm cool on it wasn't terrible but it was it was just for me it was cool acting was really bad in a couple it was

  • 1:49:17

better than the last three seasons of power i disagree with i haven't seen yeah you

  • 1:49:23

don't tariq i haven't seen any of the kanan episodes and i haven't seen bmf as of yet that's

  • 1:49:29

what i'm trying not to talk about i am going to watch bmf uh as well as kanan well you said you were waiting for kanan

  • 1:49:34

to end to watch all of yes so it ended so now you got your 10 you can run those so at least we could talk about yeah bmf

  • 1:49:41

just started so this is one yeah and then he got probably ten episodes of this which will take us into november

  • 1:49:47

yeah and then he has the tariq season two starting in november oh he's on our next pause bro he's on his moana [ __ ]

  • 1:49:53

like literally he's gonna have something on stars every weekend for the entire year because after

  • 1:49:59

so the november's um the the tariq season 2 that's going to run you to about january

  • 1:50:06

where he's going to come in with the next show which is the uh tommy how they're doing tell me when you're doing tommy and it's just as early 2022

  • 1:50:14

now so they might take a week or two it's gonna be good where tommy goes to l.a what happens i'm watching anything 56

  • 1:50:22

he's not playing and i like i like that like just to see him thrive in this world like this and keep a show and that

  • 1:50:29

ain't easy no not at all and for life still exists yeah for life still exists like when he say this green light gang

  • 1:50:35

[ __ ] he is not playing i'm getting these shows green lit i'm getting bags and i'm getting i'm making stars out of people

  • 1:50:40

i'm doing this yeah not mad at it bro yeah that's that's dope as hell and i don't you know a lot of people don't

  • 1:50:46

[ __ ] with 50 for whatever reason so you don't really get it there's a lot of reasons to not [ __ ] with i said whatever yeah they have their reasons yeah but

  • 1:50:53

i'm just saying he this is something that should be praised absolutely because what happens is the emmys don't

  • 1:50:59

give them any any looks you get them saying nobody praises them for this [ __ ] so that's where again where it comes

  • 1:51:05

from us gotta we gotta big up our own this is something to hold up in a high regard right here yeah because he's

  • 1:51:10

killing this [ __ ] he is and has been yeah and has been i think people are just coming around to see it now but

  • 1:51:16

he's been he's been on a run for it it's not no easy [ __ ] like the [ __ ] looks good sounds good like it's not

  • 1:51:21

chunky on any level and i'm hearing little meech did a phenomenal job again i haven't seen it

  • 1:51:26

but i just i love it i already smoked it even if he don't smoke it being able to play the role play the

  • 1:51:33

role mm-hmm you know you know who your dad is was is

  • 1:51:38

is is oh wait wait wait the actor is the actor is michael no [ __ ] yeah i didn't

  • 1:51:44

know that that to me is amazing just just that just i don't care how he does in the role i am getting paid

  • 1:51:51

on a national television show to portray my father who's

  • 1:51:57

his father that's swaggy that's crazy i would have looked at it i would have looked at it yeah different

  • 1:52:04

interest amazing i think there's a lot done back there actually hell yeah well even before when

  • 1:52:11

you made the comment what he said what um uh lomi said on his instagram

  • 1:52:16

about like he doesn't hold any you know you were saying there's no resentment there all of that like pops

  • 1:52:22

gave you elaine even in this yeah that [ __ ] is amazing yo and and even

  • 1:52:29

that like everything all around the board everything about it

  • 1:52:35

this this is this is my version of the american dream yeah it is

  • 1:52:40

i don't have anything else gentlemen i'm i'm cool yeah ish won't hit me back in his

  • 1:52:46

personal matter he skipped some of these topics via text uh we wish we wish him nothing but the

  • 1:52:51

best and hopefully he'll be here shortly no that's got the key to the city of uh queens

  • 1:52:58

    [Applause] [Music]

  • 1:53:08

i like hearing any time i hear artists get key to city just just recognition like outside of

  • 1:53:15

your normal he's been repping and doing a lot for queens for a very long time so this is long overdue

  • 1:53:22

i'm happy to see all this great [ __ ] happening finales yeah or to see him be more visible about it i don't know i

  • 1:53:27

don't know because i assume now's always been great absolutely i guess with some of his investments

  • 1:53:33

panning out and just him being more vocal now like we get to hear on like two nas

  • 1:53:38

albums in like a year year and a half like come on no no no no no no no no no no that magnificent yeah yeah magnitude two

  • 1:53:45

great nas albums yeah back to back and y'all know y'all know how i give it

  • 1:53:50

  • 1:54:03

came out this year trev rich i know he won't be considered in that

class obviously because nas has rap album of the year to me not mad at

  • 1:54:14

  • 1:54:20
