  • 5:30

different time over there when they get up they gonna let me know when they get up

  • 5:37

and they did it it was cursing about characters bro but i only listen i have all the respect

  • 5:44

in the world for the bts fans because outside of y'all that took the opportunity to start calling me a [ __ ]

  • 5:50

man holy [ __ ] the rest of y'all were so polite in your grievance with me and

  • 5:56

for that round applause man for that round of applause all it takes is a music take to bring

  • 6:02

    the [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] house

  • 6:07

yes there's hateful people in the world and i understand the way it came out listen i apologize i i'll be the first

  • 6:15

to admit to my ignorance i didn't know the k in front of k-pop was for korea

  • 6:20

how would i know that yeah i get how you would they don't ever say korean pop they just call it k-pop they call it k-pop how do i know what the k

  • 6:27

stands for i didn't know that either i think that i ain't even trying to be funny i know that but i do want to apologize to the

  • 6:33

people that only saw that clip for my ignorance because that's what that's what they're gonna do

  • 6:38

you understand it there uh y'all was teaching me words to call me a xenophobe i had no idea what that

  • 6:44

was i had to look it up sorry you knew what that was

  • 6:50

hello you yeah of course i do of course

  • 6:55

of course are you waiting to tell us he's worldwide every time is he in the guinness

  • 7:03

    [Laughter]

  • 7:10

oh man and somebody said when we're going to teach how to whistle [Laughter]

  • 7:17

i said your whistle is trash i would never say that about him because i can't whistle for nothing that was one

  • 7:22

of the things i failed at trying to do when i was just younger sarcastic whistle i'm not out here trying to be

  • 7:28

[ __ ] but you could if you wanted to let him know you can get a good whistle off if you want it oh my god that sounds horrible dislike

  • 7:34

or prejudice uh against people from other countries oh my god i don't think that what you said was that yeah

  • 7:41

at all you know they just find the worst [ __ ] they never what happened to just my bad you know i made a mistake i didn't know

  • 7:47

that they just always go right to the worst possible thing you could be right a xenophobe

  • 7:55

my bad don't exist no more though like i didn't know my fault i wasn't trying to intent don't matter yeah today fan most

  • 8:02

of that [ __ ] was ingested and fun anyway no it's a podcast around that part too

  • 8:08

well that's what we're doing but we can't all right come on y'all know we quick to say

  • 8:13

you can't somebody can take it how they want that is true so yeah it wasn't just but

  • 8:19

that's why somebody might not take it in jess yeah that's true i agree that's all

  • 8:26

i p i come in peace today to the army to the bts legion of man you gotta give

  • 8:33

him some dynamite or something then that's what you got i gotta give him something right yeah you gotta give him something

  • 8:39

that's that's your piece offering yeah my sleeper today there you go there you go there you go

  • 8:45

i'll give him a burst or something now because it was some of the fans that was like trying to show me some slaps

  • 8:51

like jonah they worked their way up from and this is where they come from i know you just don't know about

  • 8:56

checking out and i'm telling you what championships i love those fans yes the fans are just like

  • 9:02

a fan a real fan i want to teach i love you you might have missed it here are some

  • 9:08

reasons why i think you might enjoy this person too right i love those kind of fans as i love the gatekeeping fans yeah

  • 9:14

yeah they're the worst i want my favorite artists to get

  • 9:19

popular and more recognition but i don't want anybody new anytime someone new comes in i have to remind you that you

  • 9:26

    wasn't there from day one that's nastiest [ __ ] that's a contradiction it's fan privilege though

  • 9:31

it's privilege and everything it's fan privilege [ __ ] stupid to me you like doing that too you used to be that guy no i was

  • 9:37

instruct you yo yeah but go back and listen to this no he says he's been good at that yeah you like this story check it out he

  • 9:43

was doing this this this and this go check this out too i'm quick to tell you that i'm not a gatekeeper more fans the better i want

  • 9:49

my favorites to be popular so yeah i want you to get more fans i agree with that

  • 9:55

also while we're on the subject of apologies i want to send a big apology to dawn in the south carolina gamecocks

  • 10:02

a round of applause for what you accomplished uh and while i was still on my saint

  • 10:08

peter's high i said shout out to the south carolina

  • 10:13

peacocks how do you i think we were all in the same house yeah yeah i didn't even it's a jersey thing

  • 10:18

we didn't mean anything about that yeah apologies no no disrespect are bad indeed i know a lot of uh former former

  • 10:25

cox too man they'd be upset with me for missing that one yeah i know they've taken the uh i'll allow a second for us to be

  • 10:31

immature yeah yeah yeah i'm not letting them get that all yeah thank you you don't have to pause me i'm bi

  • 10:37

no i was pausing myself yeah yeah oh please don't unpause

  • 10:43

    what

  • 10:51

gerard carmichael stepped all over your [ __ ] yeah no i ain't like that neither he took my shirt made it a little

  • 10:56

saucier yeah all right man whatever uh shout out to dawn in uh south carolina gamecocks are bad congrats yes

  • 11:04

congratulations welcome well deserved uh where would you gentlemen like to begin today

  • 11:10

anywhere you want the world is you you want guys's start with music or you want to start with some funnies or you want to start

  • 11:16

with uh saturday some golf analysis perhaps saturday oh listen not even

  • 11:21

analysis we we walk in and the masters is on right and i've been paying attention to this because they've been

  • 11:26

dying for tiger woods to be present at the masters do we have to change that word too like the bedroom

  • 11:32

what the masters like the bedrooms

  • 11:38

in augusta georgia oh oh y'all cooking now he was trying to start

  • 11:44

with some places well no we don't have to do nothing

  • 11:50

about this they're going to change the name of the master since now he's black but they don't let him be black

  • 12:00

that was tiger with that stupid you know i don't know how i feel that was him right yeah that was dumb

  • 12:06

yeah but we say the same thing like with that 10 billion in front of your face oh [ __ ]

  • 12:12

what you want me to be that [ __ ] just slow me out for a slow house project they know what the [ __ ] would be going

  • 12:18

on yeah nike pulled them to them no you [ __ ] you [ __ ] me

  • 12:24

the [ __ ] are you talking about yo [ __ ] always like to have morals on these podcasts like oh man that's oh

  • 12:30

that's ridiculous nobody ever said yo i would do that

  • 12:36

you know i'm not doing number 50. i'm not going

  • 12:42

against my core they gave you 500 million no not 500. nah i think you bought five yeah [ __ ]

  • 12:49

you all don't know me i don't know my goals y'all don't know the value i attached we all got goals but okay but mine i'm not going against my moral

  • 12:56

compass for 500 m's i think my talent can get me that i think my thinking can give me that i agree with that now if

  • 13:02

you talk talking but it's a little shortcut though though you know what i mean yeah but but that's where integrity comes from fam if you took a shortcut to

  • 13:08

your 500 m's then then the rebuild for bill will be in your in your sights

  • 13:15

the alternate route is a long one i don't know but it ultimately gets you to the same place and the people that

  • 13:21

choose the shortcut people like me we judge them a little bit you might say you're judging me

  • 13:27

black i'm a jersey city orion

  • 13:34

what's your number though we've lot on me what's yours parks what's yours ice what's yours to say mike's on this part

  • 13:40

enough for that black just said i'm not no no no no no no no no tell me what they don't do that's what he did i know that's what he did but his number was 10

  • 13:47

billion in front of nike and he said i just don't know which way i am like that's what he did i'm saying whatever's

  • 13:52

in your heart okay whatever that is because that you know different morals have different price points i think you

  • 13:57

know what i'm saying like which world will be some of the morals

  • 14:11

you had mad numbers for mine yo i said it in fun you bum ass [ __ ] but i was answering for real

  • 14:18

that was that's why i wouldn't take the 500m i'm answering for real to say i'm not black no there's no i'm

  • 14:25

not no we can't do it i'm not black

  • 14:31

all right you're not black 500 five zero zero zero zero zero zero zero

  • 14:39

zero zero [ __ ] black white what is black black is a color you don't

  • 14:44

    identify i don't even identify i don't i'm gray i am i'm i'm i don't identify as a color it's disgusting i'm green

  • 14:52

i'm green actually you should be ashamed it's okay wow i'll be ashamed

  • 15:02

what if she didn't forgive you 500 m's you can't speak to your family no more for the rest of life parents included

  • 15:07

500 mls they might not want to speak to me no more [ __ ] imma be doing 500 m's up i'm

  • 15:14

setting the whole ancestry back they're gonna be like we gotta get him

  • 15:20

out of here this [ __ ] is bad for they they're not gonna want me to be black they're gonna try to put me off on somebody else parks how much to hand in

  • 15:27

your whiteness to never be white again oh that's expensive

  • 15:35

seeing that's the problem with our country that's the problem

  • 15:51

what was my point in bringing up tiger woods oh so tiger woods we walk in he's one of the masters right

  • 15:57

round of applause for tiger applause for tiger being on the masters playing well play well yeah

  • 16:03

yeah there's only a couple strokes down pause if required

  • 16:09

you know he did he did well but i have this article that explains where's this article at

  • 16:16

that explains the tiger is not wearing nikes on his feet uh uh-oh

  • 16:22

    give me the suspense music

  • 16:30

sue tiger stripes off woods is a long time sponsored athlete of nike his shoes this

  • 16:36

week at augusta national have been noticeably different however wood's laced up in an

  • 16:41

all-black foot joy packard model shoe rather than his usual nike swoosh when

  • 16:47

taking the course was it a mistake is there controversy brewing blah blah blah blah blah blah not exactly whoops

  • 16:53

about his shoe choice ahead of the masters and kept his answer brief he said and i quote i have very limited

  • 16:59

mobility now with the rods and plates and screws that are in my leg i needed something different something that

  • 17:04

allowed me to be more stable and that's what i've gone to woods added that he and nike are working

  • 17:10

on a new design and expect something to be completed soon as soon as they purchase lovejoy um

  • 17:17

nike's been fantastic over the years of providing me with equipment and we have worked we've been working on trying to

  • 17:22

find something to allow me to do this and swing again we're still going to continue doing it and hopefully we'll have something soon

  • 17:29

so the [ __ ] version of that is tiger woods went to nike said yo dawg whatever

  • 17:35

the [ __ ] y'all been putting on my feet i know we have a deal in place but i am unable to perform in that and if you all

  • 17:42

can't come up with something quick enough then guess what none of us have a choice here i gotta wear the foot joys

  • 17:48

so i'm wearing foot joys now i have a working theory that nike accepted that from tiger because

  • 17:54

what choice did you have applicable because yeah

  • 18:00

what choice do you have if tiger woods is saying i can't perform in your [ __ ] yeah well

  • 18:05

you got a few choices you can call the production company that's videotaping the masters and say hey

  • 18:13

don't you dare you don't you [ __ ] dare show those foot joys on tiger woods

  • 18:18

feet until we come up with a proper replacement or until we buy the company

  • 18:23

so now we're only seeing tiger foot from the back the front they only show the side when

  • 18:29

it's like about 40 50 feet away you see a little german the sweater is loud and clear though the swoosh

  • 18:36

but look fair whoever came up with that tiger woods logo for that amazing fam it's timeless yeah that [ __ ] is amazing

  • 18:43

any time he pop up with that tw you want to hack dude you know what it is yeah you know what time it is they had a countdown on the screen for

  • 18:49

when he takes his first swing he walked out there and bent down entire shoes and the

  • 18:56

camera jumped up fast as hell like no no we won't get that shot crazy they ain't show tiger woods tying

  • 19:02

his shoe they showed him crashing crashing into a tree and they won't show him tying his shoes

  • 19:10

i know the masters was in bad shape because when i was watching it was a split screen tiger on the top and some

  • 19:15

[ __ ] named amen on the bottom they was praying to god for viewership

  • 19:23

i have never heard of you'll find out who amen is [Laughter]

  • 19:30

amen corner i bet it is a place amen corner

  • 19:37

they was in the corner with some amens all right yeah it sure worked well it's wrong this time it was in the corner

  • 19:42

eight minutes i've been there before with my buddies when we try to scrape up some money for nick

  • 19:47

for nickelback how much money your mom's got on the couch 98 yeah i know i got about 93 over

  • 19:54

here all right man they was praying yo you stupid hey they was praying hey the

  • 20:01

grammys uh the grammy's numbers came back too um mighty low

  • 20:07

mighty low little duval they could have paid somebody to smack somebody mighty low you know it's hip-hop

  • 20:14

and hip-hop we could fabricate some [ __ ] better than hollywood probably if we try hard enough now they're saying they uh they're

  • 20:20

banning will smith from the oscars for 10 years 10 years best ratings they probably had

  • 20:25

10 plus years what a way to say thank you were most coverage most pressed most

  • 20:32

did they really reap the benefits though i'm sh yeah probably i don't know you know i don't know how that should work

  • 20:38

oh before we continue we're going on tour yes we are soon april 28th yeah so april 28th we're

  • 20:46

in houston may 1st we're in dallas may 28th we are in l.a

  • 20:51

and may 29th we in oakland shout out to y'all can't wait to see y'all joebunpodcasttour.com

  • 20:57

ticketmaster wherever you get the good stuff from that's where it will be let me let me ask y'all you know if you

  • 21:04

will smith after i've already resigned uh-huh and then y'all come out and say coming to the table she's going to be at the red

  • 21:10

table would you say she has been instrumental in you and i redefining our relationship

  • 21:18

i would say don't just start filming me without asking nah that's dead ass words if you confess that's that ass help us

  • 21:25

again please i'm still dealing with this don't [Music]

  • 21:31

would you say that she helped us heal the hurt still answer my question my

  • 21:37

social media presence is my bread and butter okay so you can't just use me for social media and not you know don't just

  • 21:45

start bro i'm standing in my house don't just start rolling no please watch again a stare

  • 21:52

at the red table because she's helped us a lot can't you tell

  • 21:58

he's at my house 10 years is a lot for a little smackity smack do you care

  • 22:05

if you will smith huh do you care hell no no okay that was my question i was going well

  • 22:15

he cares because of what is attached to it i believe the rumors about certain film houses

  • 22:21

not wanting to work with him anymore like i believe the rumors about netflix

  • 22:26

slowing down production sony slowing down production of some of his films and i think that's a direct correlation to

  • 22:33

the academy's uh view listen with some of these groups we know you get perks we know you get

  • 22:39

relationships we know you get and that's with all of them so if you're not if the academy is not [ __ ] with you then

  • 22:45

there are some production homes that probably are not [ __ ] with you

  • 22:50

too and that's the downside of that if we just talk about the oscars yeah and academy events then of course will smith

  • 22:56

this is gonna come home with my family but if this is gonna affect my livelihood as we just heard him say my

  • 23:01

social media presence is my bread and butter like i'm trying to protect it and we saw him slap

  • 23:06

somebody i ain't thinking about that i mean that's a good point i um remember when king richard first came

  • 23:12

out my stance was joey looks nothing like him he doesn't sound like him he's not

  • 23:17

the best at doing voices and accents but the draw is he's will smith

  • 23:22

so if that's going to tamper with potentially those same movie houses coming to get him because he is will

  • 23:28

smith and if we might not i don't know the ramifications behind him being banned i don't know if his performances

  • 23:34

are still eligible for an award he just might not be able to show up i don't think they are even if they are

  • 23:41

i mean if they are they're not going to be you know what i'm saying that's what i'm saying so that'll make me stay away and the other problem with that is the

  • 23:47

roles that will smith is accustomed to playing which are triumphant yeah stories of glory uh just stories of

  • 23:54

black excellence like that's where we normally see will smith and today having that guy smack

  • 24:02

the [ __ ] out of somebody at the oscars now we have to look at your viable replacement it's off brand i say all the

  • 24:07

time on here hey when you be arrogant when you walk in and put your dick on the table when you just start getting on

  • 24:13

your [ __ ] that's cool there's nothing wrong with that but you have to know

  • 24:18

who your replacements are as well and i think today i think they probably were rolling out i

  • 24:25

am legend to have will smith introduce michael b jordan as the guy this is the guy that we're giving these roles to

  • 24:31

sure now so you got [ __ ] down here where there's viable options it's only really

  • 24:36

one in my opinion for certain roles cause like will smith does the

  • 24:43

handsome you talking about all right you're right you talking about

  • 24:49

you talking about actors yeah and i'm talking about the business

  • 24:54

of actors acting wise yeah it ain't but it ain't a long list

  • 25:01

of people that can do what will smith has done in these roles i agree but i also think he got some of those roles

  • 25:07

because of his standing with the academy oh i would if and if you don't have that non-threat and now michael b jordan does

  • 25:13

i don't know because i'm not an acting world right but or don cheadle does or the other black actor does whoever they

  • 25:19

go and unearth then now we're in a bad spot and hopefully this doesn't affect his

  • 25:24

social media business uh i hope will is all right 10 years a long time and you've been playing that clip i don't

  • 25:29

know if you want to jump into it but and playing that clip i saw it and i sent it to everybody yeah

  • 25:35

dog he looks broken in the clip he looks broken like i've heard oh i'm sorry he wasn't in the

  • 25:42

best of spirits he said what he said his wife dismissed him like oh here we go with the [ __ ] foolishness

  • 25:49

whatever [ __ ] like that clip further cements for me i don't want to see him on red table i do not i know i'm will

  • 25:54

smithed out i know a lot of us are will smith everyone's had a take we've seen it we've heard it it's been overdone but i

  • 26:00

sympathize with couple things i heard about that particular clip is one it's old it was an old problem i thought it

  • 26:07

was like a deep picture it would need to be old for build up to

  • 26:13

happen no but the other the other part of that take was it was it was like uh satire they were making fun of

  • 26:21

this to promote her whatever guess they were having on the red tape

  • 26:26

truth and every joke not just that he he didn't get to him get the joke

  • 26:32

no listen if they was fake listen a joke a joke ain't a joke if we never get serious

  • 26:38

now he ain't looked like he was joking if we never get serious listen we've seen the the conclusion of the

  • 26:44

movie so so now you start looking at little pieces it might even if it was a

  • 26:50

joke have been a joke but it certainly helped lead to something you know i agree with that

  • 26:56

that's all uh new music let's get to music let's do it come on fabio album dropped joe come on let's get to it okay

  • 27:02

bobby album drop did you listen to it i heard something parked did you hear i did i did did you hear i listened to the

  • 27:07

entire project this is the uh most polished sounding trap drill drilled brooklyn drill [ __ ]

  • 27:14

i've ever heard in my life that's a that's a compliment shots mike dean who makes it in all the passengers

  • 27:19

i tried not to i wanted to come in here last part i told joe and say that i was nervous for this

  • 27:25

album just off the track list and i try to never do that but when i saw 17 records

  • 27:31

and 14 of them had features i got nervous i don't know what to expect that's a lot

  • 27:38

of outside of not just you on the project so i went in

  • 27:44

not knowing what to expect i it was cool

  • 27:50

it wasn't i was highly anticipating this album i think just seeing the tracklist kind of threw me back a little bit

  • 27:56

but in listening it was cool i'm it's it's it's not something i'm going

  • 28:02

to be running back to a lot there's maybe three records that i that stuck out to me

  • 28:08

but for the most part i was kind of good on this project really i liked it i mean you know this isn't my preferred genre

  • 28:14

as it is yours um but i appreciate the attempt to to make it something more um digestible i do

  • 28:22

well that's what y'all that's what ish that he wanted from fabio now and that and that's what puts me right at this

  • 28:27

crossroad hmm because i understood exactly where ish was coming from when he said that

  • 28:35

but i was like yo the [ __ ] that want to hear this that's what we want to hear and then he comes out and he

  • 28:40

answers ish's concern and i have a problem with that

  • 28:46

you felt it was too far left nothing sound nothing sounded left to me

  • 28:53

it didn't sound like he was uncomfortable it didn't sound like he went too far away from

  • 29:01

his comfortable normal pocket everything had the same bop and feel for the most part yeah everything just cleaner just

  • 29:07

cleaner everything that he's on it's like it's tailored to him even a feature record i was brought it up when we

  • 29:14

talked about the city girls record if you listen to any record that fabio's on the the kanye records anything

  • 29:20

the beat before he raps in the beat while he's rapping are two different beats like it's it's tailored for him to ride

  • 29:27

that beat so i don't think he's ever going to feel uncomfortable on anything because they

  • 29:33

actually tailor the beat for him for him to grow i think that that will need to change

  • 29:41

i think i think that by his sophomore album that should stop where the beat is

  • 29:47

catered to his rhyme scheme i'm with you 100 because then some of

  • 29:54

the records on here that were supposed to sound and feel different then you can actually explore them

  • 30:00

sounding and feeling different but it's just tough to accomplish that when it's the same

  • 30:06

cadence every the cadence on every damn name all the songs is the same everything all the ones that i heard and

  • 30:11

they are extremely clean and polished uh all of the features did make sense to

  • 30:17

me i listened to the whole album yeah me too the features made sense to me so i wasn't mad at those either

  • 30:22

but my favorite records are the ones where he's the solo record hamlet yeah yeah uh

  • 30:29

let me find the track list my favorite [ __ ] was feel my struggle was my favorite one

  • 30:34

love feel my struggle i like change on me a lot i like world watching i like the intro a

  • 30:40

lot uh i like all the records that were released prior to so that's the single magic city yeah i wasn't mad at through

  • 30:47

the fire it's a good album i'm not even mad at hello

  • 30:52

also when i was listening to this lot of samples this album sounds expensive i've

  • 30:58

noticed too that that's kind of becoming a thing not even necessarily samples like in the traditional sense if they took

  • 31:03

some old [ __ ] and flipped it a lot of like pop hip-hop records from the

  • 31:08

early 2000s to 2010 are being reinterpreted a lot lately

  • 31:14

from people that i've heard the same thing though i'm not sure what part it was maybe like a week or two ago

  • 31:19

ice was saying that um basically we're puffing them doing in the late 90s yeah early 2000s with all

  • 31:26

the dope hits that we knew of in the 80s that's what they're doing today so now it's just 20 years later they're going

  • 31:32

to get all the old hits and basically re recycling i guess the hard thing for me to like

  • 31:38

uh cope with that is that it was flipping like some rock [ __ ] or some pop [ __ ] and making a hip hop and now it's

  • 31:43

flipping hip hop and hip hop which is fine it's just harder but it just hits it you know i get it i get it but i

  • 31:49

think like i was saying before berg really kind of started that for this generation he did he ran back but

  • 31:56

instead of going to the let me call it i think it was more him he did it in

  • 32:01

more records i guess at that time um very made it pop yeah he did

  • 32:07

and he ran and grabbed the the hits that from from the late 90s early 2000s and

  • 32:14

put them out again yeah so it's interest but at the same time it's introducing the younger crowd to

  • 32:21

those records they never heard that [ __ ] true they was kids true story so there's a lot of samples on this on this album

  • 32:27

this is an expensive album for sure and my down bottom record that i've been waiting on the dragon flip

  • 32:34

is not on there i'm going to assume it's either going to be on the deluxe

  • 32:39

or there was a problem clearing that sample yeah because i don't hear a record on here

  • 32:45

that would have made me not include the down bottom flip on this album i don't hear that

  • 32:50

i waited months for that yeah you've been talking about that record i don't understand i went looking for the snippet and couldn't find it and that's

  • 32:56

    and that's why i don't like getting [ __ ] but that's the problem with these [ __ ] man that that

  • 33:02

that let you in the studio session early play the unfinished record now i'm waiting for that you were guilty

  • 33:09

of that though i never did that there was a couple of directions i have never not put the record out there was a

  • 33:15

couple of you didn't but it's fun what well yeah okay there's a bunch actually that's a bunch it's fine

  • 33:21

but i started that wave though so that's the difference i started a lot of [ __ ] these [ __ ] it is wow all right

  • 33:26

because we used to fight like everyone fought me stop playing records on you stream what are you doing

  • 33:32

everybody for me [ __ ] record executives and ours presidents

  • 33:38

what are you what are your friends i really wanted that down bottom flip though

  • 33:44

i'm not mad at this album but what i realized is and i meant to get into this last week but we did a lot of part in

  • 33:49

last week so i might have been tired a little bit i'm glad i got these shades on i need cool i need cool blockers

  • 33:56

for the spring and the summer i underestimated the record industry and

  • 34:01

if we knew that a lot of good music was coming this summer and that people been laying low because of the pandemic and

  • 34:07

so forth and so on the record industry has a lot of releases coming that don't mean that every release is fire

  • 34:14

some of these marketing plans are fire true 5 he got me yo

  • 34:21

and i won't say that because you can hear that they put a lot of time energy and money and backing behind this

  • 34:26

project but it's cool and i'm not looking for cool

  • 34:32

i'm looking for heat you [ __ ] been sitting up i'm not looking for cool this is cool this is

  • 34:38

cool but i'm not mad at him it's his debut he'll get better he'll evolve

  • 34:43

uh and this is a good debut but last week

  • 34:51

that was cool push that was a cool push and hold record too

  • 34:56

yeah it was it was cool there's a lot of cool that's coming you know what too with the

  • 35:02

push i hate to be the guy man folk uh vocals should be up a little bit i thought they did that on purpose yeah

  • 35:09

maybe but i don't want to work that hard to hear what he's saying

  • 35:14

i need cool blockers to block out what's cool and

  • 35:19

the marketing i think the marketing of [ __ ] is getting even more savvy yeah it is it is a

  • 35:26

little more like all across the board not even with just music like they're getting real slick with how they they are they everything viralize things you

  • 35:32

know what i'm saying i just saw that the uh what was that morbius movie yeah yeah

  • 35:38

yeah the director of the movie they asked him an interview about the trailer because the trailer had spider-man in the

  • 35:43

background and he was like dawg i just direct the movie they do what they want with the

  • 35:49

when they get to trailer time you ask them about why they have spider-man in my trailer

  • 35:56

don't bother me with this yeah they're good for that but i'm sitting there saying you know why they put spiderman trailers

  • 36:02

like a smart marketing and then i'm like yo we gotta get tricks we gotta get

  • 36:07

we just gotta be careful yeah as consumers with we also thought that with

  • 36:13

with fabio's um which i think is a solid album by the way that kanye would be more involved i don't think that he was as involved at least from reading the

  • 36:19

initial credits you know sometimes they add [ __ ] on later but for me it did sound like he was involved

  • 36:24

and that might have been another issue of mine yeah that that was my that's my takeaway he was involved that's probably why it

  • 36:30

sounds so clean and mike dean but i'll never i'll never say a bad word about mike he's a [ __ ]

  • 36:35

genius um but i don't know if i want to hear five of these so clean you might have to add

  • 36:41

some dirt some grime to it valid i agree valid that's what that's kind of a trademark

  • 36:48

of the genre you know a subgenre or whatever but this goes to you saying before that favi might be the one to try

  • 36:55

to progress the genre he is that's why i'm going to allow him the space to experience exactly

  • 37:00

because all of this goes with that it can't stay the same but i got donda and donda's album of the year well

  • 37:09

like i hold donda in high regard as a music as a musical piece so

  • 37:16

it's tough it's tough the bar is high for me yo it is that's why i like seeing cole

  • 37:22

would be uh bruh j cole's gonna just crack it off he's the best rapper rapper right now

  • 37:29

he wrapped in british which i know that was english he wrapped in british and that shit's on fire it did i hate

  • 37:36

j cole is on the list of guys that i did he's off you can't critique him anymore

  • 37:41

he can't do anything and and even though you can work y'all let him get away with some of them outfits though that's crazy

  • 37:46

i don't care about what he wants yeah i want to hear the music we let [ __ ]

  • 37:52

get away with fly outfits and trash music but i'm just saying cole is doing different [ __ ] yo i like it i like it

  • 37:58

this [ __ ] was crazy when i heard that i like to praise it you know i'm with you that he's beyond critique but i like to praise it when you see it like

  • 38:05

he's he's we had him at 1a1b last time he's he's won one of one right now

  • 38:11

he's one of one yeah he's one royce had an interesting little argument about cole he's saying that kohl's coal space

  • 38:20

coal space that he's in as an executive should remove him out of kendrick drake

  • 38:26

comparison because that's what officially makes him number one that he's flourished in an area where the

  • 38:31

other two have not mad i may argue against that uh i'm i'm not bad i'm not mad at that i

  • 38:39

don't make him number one but i won't argue against it i'm not he's number one to me because he's number one but that on top of it is yeah that's amazing

  • 38:46

everybody don't want to do that true i will no longer split hairs between cole

  • 38:52

drake and kendrick they all to me are number one they all have proven time and time again why they

  • 38:58

are number one even in today's oversaturated crowded ass market crowded with [ __ ] that ain't rappers

  • 39:05

everybody just picking it it's like podcasting everybody just picking up hey welcome to episode 1

  • 39:12

hot dogs and parking beans they could shut up what are you talking about like it's like one of those so i'm done i'm

  • 39:17

done with that shout out to cole cole like crazy yeah he did i want to give props for props too he's one he's number one right now to me undisputed champion

  • 39:24

for now definitely went crazy different flow accents and still made the [ __ ] fire like that's that's and you say you

  • 39:31

    hate like british rap yeah i dislike i don't know i don't hear yeah i don't i dislike it's not your

  • 39:37

[ __ ] no but you like this i like this he didn't do it the whole verse like he jumped in and out with it yeah

  • 39:44

i like beer too man be as dope i think that when they give us german murder mysteries that they should invest more

  • 39:50

time energy and money into voice sync and the actors and the mounds as they

  • 39:56

move that's what i think so but but if if the mouth is in one it'll never be

  • 40:01

perfect yeah yeah it'll never be perfectly in in sync okay but i thought squid game did an amazing job with that

  • 40:08

money heist i think did an amazing job with that you can get it close enough to where

  • 40:13

you look like you watching the same [ __ ] not like the old 80s uh

  • 40:18

right right like we're in 2022 we can't get this no closer i like subtitles so i do it that way

  • 40:24

yeah yeah i don't know i watch subtitles and everything now i don't know everything yeah me too subtitle [ __ ] in english are you watching snowfall with

  • 40:30

subtitles does that mean we're old world could be okay that's the goal yeah

  • 40:36

get it out that's the goal i want to get old yeah um that's all i got for fabio's album man i

  • 40:42

will go back to my favorite songs on this album but i was hype the music industry got me on this one i

  • 40:48

was hyped for too many months for what i received that's not that's not emotional

  • 40:53

intelligence that's not emotional intelligence for me they're crazy i never want to do that i never want to do that again

  • 41:01

you will i don't do it because there's just artists that you might like and you want to see when so you kind of see but

  • 41:06

yourself up see if you like the difference between me as a consumer i want him to win of course no i'm just saying but but for me i normally block

  • 41:14

out all industry attempts to flood my mind with something that i

  • 41:20

didn't organically love so the artists that i champion i typically champion them because

  • 41:26

i bet i bet that every time out the park however they do it it's coming like that

  • 41:32

chris her snow people don't really deviate there's more names i could think of but just off

  • 41:38

the top like lucky day like the [ __ ] i champion when they come i'mma get what i like from them they bet they they bat a

  • 41:45

thousand or close to it favi's a new act so the label got [ __ ] to do it's business and play right now

  • 41:52

so even if he wanted to go in there and give him all hard no crazy [ __ ] that couldn't happen it's too much riding on

  • 41:58

him as a young man i understand that but boy did they trick me they got me

  • 42:03

i'll admit it crazy [ __ ] about his album is one of my favorite records i would have never thought i liked and

  • 42:10

one of my favorites on the album is the record with queen nigel and corley ray the hard the record is hard i was like this

  • 42:17

[ __ ] it's fire shout out to beyonce for clearing that sample you know it told me to go clean it up a little bit yeah yeah

  • 42:23

go ahead clean up that record you bugging but i'm clear for you i'ma clear

  • 42:31

but yeah you could you could just see what bobby that he's being steered in a a bigger direction they're developing

  • 42:37

him which is hard to knock it's hard enough that's a good thing no i won't i won't knock it

  • 42:43

it's hard to knock that is them wanted it's just got it it's hard to find that balance

  • 42:48

that's one of the knocks right that they don't develop they don't develop artists anymore that's why the knock wasn't the knock used we don't develop

  • 42:56

he he's a high value act yeah he's a priority so they're going to take the time and handle him with care

  • 43:03

when we were talking about labels getting rid of artist development it was the artist that

  • 43:09

maybe didn't know what was going on and didn't have it to get the mentality was there

  • 43:15

we need some help in getting to this level of potential they took artist development away for the from those

  • 43:21

people and that's where it hurts the [ __ ] that was gonna be a start some some of the stars we're gonna make it regardless

  • 43:26

like well they don't matter now here's a sign here make this make this this feature that song i'll make it

  • 43:32

the labels now look at it as yo go develop yourself i'm coming in that we coming in we'll catch you after you get out yeah we'll

  • 43:38

catch you there or we'll invest a little bit and let you you know damn you got it we are developing you from day one

  • 43:44

labels have the easiest job in the world yo sign you you make the music and maybe two weeks or three or four weeks before

  • 43:51

your album drive will say something about it mm-hmm we'll put you where you need like if you're not investing in

  • 43:56

[ __ ] they're not really spending on nothing no more no make your own you're gonna go make the video put it on vivo

  • 44:03

uh the songs they're looking at streams now so we ain't about to spend all crazy money probably have your own team

  • 44:09

already producers engineers yeah that's how you got hot to get on the labels right now we don't have to store these

  • 44:15

albums and and records somewhere we have real story reels we have to start really store reels just put it out hit send

  • 44:23

mm-hmm you you do that we'll go do the deal deals with the dsps and everybody else to make sure that you don't you

  • 44:30

    want a playlist you're too crazy we'll take 85

  • 44:35

that's it we'll put you on a tour and we'll take money from that too and there's a line

  • 44:40

around the block in every city of people waiting to do it yeah can't knock them that's what i want

  • 44:46

what can i say what other music came out a little baby's back oh no

  • 44:51

little baby said i've had enough i heard all the talk y'all been playing

  • 44:57

so without warning without anything i'm gonna give you a two pack

  • 45:02

    i look at one i didn't see two nope there's two records oh [ __ ] right on and in a minute i got in a minute i didn't

  • 45:07

see right on my bad and let me tell you

  • 45:13

if this is what he doing y'all might need to shift some [ __ ] around this summer

  • 45:19

because he's not playing huh i didn't even see the other one yes [ __ ] he came right out yeah yeah i

  • 45:25

didn't even know he was dropping me either i had what i knew was dropping already yeah

  • 45:30

and then something said yo go check the hip hop new releases and i saw a little

  • 45:35

baby record and i'm like whoa he dropped something okay then i clicked and there was another one

  • 45:42

she didn't go to the page i just saw on the little list i said let me grab that and i didn't i didn't follow up because usually with a two pack that kind of put

  • 45:48

them in this well it wasn't it wasn't like a ep two singles right one here one here

  • 45:55

and yeah and y'all talking too much yeah no you can just get right to it

  • 46:02

as soon as i heard the sample

  • 46:16

he don't seem like he's letting go of the chokehold no no anytime soon might be a little tighter i think he's made it

  • 46:23

clear that this is his decade and the scariest part is he sounds like he's getting better yeah it's right out my

  • 46:29

mouth to put this out as half of a two pack just a bro

  • 46:35

instagram post yo i just dropped two this wasn't like a yo we got the new single drop in friday no this is nothing

  • 46:42

here it's his decades y'all cuz i've been hearing the talk i know we keep hearing people say it i

  • 46:49

know it's not really a hot take but he's getting better yes

  • 46:55

of that crop of you know guys he's he's he's him and savage

  • 47:01

my favorite in that age group you could kind of hear it in this song

  • 47:08

like he's starting to come into it like yo i'm him i'm gonna just chill out i'm just you can hear his confidence i'm

  • 47:13

distancing myself from the rest of the game and when you do [ __ ] like that

  • 47:20

i need equity to sign the deal heard what he said

  • 47:25

letting you know where his mind is mine right money right changing ready for war

  • 47:30

i'm young i got all the talent in the world this [ __ ] is clearly mine we was just having this talk about uh

  • 47:37

    oh uh deebo

  • 47:44

oh yeah yeah yeah you got two quarterbacks locked up jimmy

  • 47:49

g and a little young boy i just showed the whole world what i could do clearly we all we all know i'm

  • 47:54

on a rookie deal but i don't care about that because there's too many receivers getting paid right now my usage rate is through the roof yeah i'm sitting down

  • 48:01

i'm unfollowing you i'm sitting down pay up and go talk to my agent i want to play here but i did what i have to do

  • 48:09

your turn yup i've showed you already which is what he keeps saying in this record little baby

  • 48:17

no stick up is coming stick up is coming you have no idea somebody

  • 48:23

he let him know i'm him i know i'm him i delivered though so i don't even look at it like a

  • 48:30

sticker you know what i'm saying like yo dawg just give me what i'm worth it's not a stick up because

  • 48:35

whatever he get he's still worth more yeah that's what i'm saying so give me what i'm worth y'all you don't really lose in there

  • 48:41

whatever you give him you're coming up you're going to make more mm-hmm you're losing that if you don't want to because the stock on this is up

  • 48:47

oh don't do it on him yeah on him his ear what else came out i didn't i feel like

  • 48:54

i'm preaching to the cause right now is it my turn you know it came okay yeah come on

  • 48:59

    [ __ ] give it to us estg42 huh

  • 49:04

last real one still you know it came dude do you know i did i've been playing this nonstop first song is ice talk they was talking

  • 49:11

to me i did it for you man i thought you know people hit me like yo you got a skit on there or something i

  • 49:16

might as well that would have been funny nah that would have been done you're talking see now you got to get the beat man do a remix

  • 49:24

i'm gonna get the beat yeah i throw a little something on it nah let him live chill don't do it to him don't hurt him let him live a little

  • 49:31

just let it go oh okay that's cool i'm not going crazy all right but um so we talk about

  • 49:36

getting what you expect from from a project right oh they're gonna do that

  • 49:42

and they did that they're gonna do that no no they record after record they did that

  • 49:49

this project is exactly what i know a lot of y'all this is not your lane whatever you want to call it

  • 49:55

for those of us who are fans of estg and or 42 doug

  • 50:00

you love this they delivered right out the gate from record one

  • 50:06

the singles which were um free to shine this was first everybody shoot us two and then right before the

  • 50:12

album dropped they dropped uh uh thump [ __ ] okay

  • 50:18

all in their bag this is i'm not stepping out my bag i'm

  • 50:23

giving it to you exactly what you expect from me estg don't seem to know where other bags are he's staying his no he's

  • 50:29

letting you know this is my bag dog too he's staying his bag i haven't heard this yet but yo what a [ __ ] blessing

  • 50:35

it is when your bag is the one that works yeah like and that's why the

  • 50:41

    memphis [ __ ] him money bag like when these [ __ ] start getting their [ __ ] it just is they [ __ ] that keeps working

  • 50:48

and when they're working in a system that caters to that this is the sound right now you know what i'm saying like

  • 50:54

your label the people you're working with allow you to just yeah yeah the other thing i liked about

  • 50:59

this is once i saw again track listing this wasn't flooded with features from

  • 51:05

the big names so this told me they're going to get to do them on here

  • 51:10

like they just get to cook or or it was like some organic [ __ ] where they was in there together as opposed to mailing out

  • 51:16

all the records waiting for blah blah blah to lay they [ __ ] yeah like like this of course they're

  • 51:22

calling it a mixtape you know how it goes with all of that but this is just them i mean you got

  • 51:28

their homies on there a lot of acts that i've never even heard of

  • 51:34

this is what i wanted i've been playing this project since probably 8 30 a.m thursday

  • 51:41

non-stop you think this body of music is conducive to you being the best dad you could be

  • 51:46

my daughter was in school so yeah quite a lot of time yeah

  • 51:51

like the record spin is the yeah this is spin the block it's stupid

  • 51:56

spinner's gonna be my sleeper just circle to school now we're just doing something oh yeah yeah

  • 52:01

    don't even don't even stop

  • 52:06

that's an interesting topic that i every week i say i want to talk about but i never do what's that picking your kid up

  • 52:12

from school oh that's just the best if it is it's the best for me i love it it's the

  • 52:18

best for me too but you could be getting a lot of nothing for someone else here i understand how

  • 52:23

it could be a difficult time for somebody else one two man some good looking moms out there

  • 52:28

right now for real you you did you did just on the strength for the love of your kid

  • 52:33

and wow look at her look at them hey hold up teachers don't be too bad either

  • 52:40

teachers well the teacher almost had to check a few times teacher's different hey dad right here hey

  • 52:46

no no i'm digging no it's me no no come on let him out to school

  • 52:52

when the teacher oh it's dad today yo dawg yo you better [ __ ] watch yourself

  • 52:59

oh look it's dead here yo stop stop stop you're feeding the narrative that's hundreds of years old

  • 53:05

don't do that oh wow what a shocker there is dad no no no no no

  • 53:11

some of the kids come out crying get to see how other parents handle them this is a lot to look at when you pick

  • 53:16

your kid up i'm sure it's a a prime people-watching experience yeah it is yes yes

  • 53:22

yeah it is it's fun for me i enjoy the [ __ ] out of it i walk in my baby come running arms

  • 53:28

out screaming dada there's nothing but moms out there good luck see how that would be good

  • 53:34

    look like this

  • 53:39

hit him with that parent teacher conferences it's another one you know

  • 53:46

[ __ ] yo they still do parents teacher conferences yes

  • 53:52

oh yes oh no no we're not together we just yeah yeah this one is crazy

  • 53:59

this sticker is nice no that's what you're all on your parent yeah yeah teacher yeah miss john yeah

  • 54:06

yeah no mother couldn't make it

  • 54:17

y'all would sleep with a teacher at your kids school honest question it does sound like a dangerous territory to run into potentially

  • 54:23

can't do that y'all not my child's teacher but maybe a teacher at the school yeah no you know your kid has to see

  • 54:30

different teachers each year you will still do it

  • 54:36

not even athletics coach or something joe she gets spun around too

  • 54:41

what's wrong with you joe yo i be trying to introduce [ __ ] that's

  • 54:47

    like i think it's compelling and y'all

  • 54:59

all right all right so let's progress the conversation i shouldn't do that wow this wilson want

  • 55:07

joe don't even be miss wilson no more should be jackie and some young [ __ ]

  • 55:14

teach about 26 25 nice night we was kids

  • 55:31

    martin luther king boulevard

  • 55:44

    all right all right

  • 55:59

that's one of them art teachers on the gram them paintings be different

  • 56:07

i'm trying all right fam but all right yo yo you know what do you know why yo it's just hilarious you know why because

  • 56:14

every [ __ ] has dated the [ __ ] earthy artist chicks and some of them was trash but you just

  • 56:20

had to encourage her through the painting because she was fine with the [ __ ] you're killing that

  • 56:26

[ __ ] yo abstract i see what you was going for right there and i see your artistic

  • 56:31

vision yeah yeah yeah you really bringing it out right there i see it yeah this [ __ ] was terrible

  • 56:37

[ __ ] just be throwing anything on the canvas i'm gonna just put a dub in here cause i

  • 56:43

owe them last week surf be cursing we all opened last week all right moving on moving on what uh uh

  • 56:48

sid drop i don't know if you all was done with y'all hip hop uh vince vince drop vince yes drop vance i really like

  • 56:55

the album it's the first vince album that was kind of like

  • 57:00

not like experimental sounding i guess i don't know a lot of this stuff was like kind of distorted 808 it felt like he was trying to do festival [ __ ] the last

  • 57:06

like two or three or four projects this one's kind of more on the nose you know what i'm saying which and it's it's

  • 57:12

phenomenal it's really good a lot of songs that could play around women songs for women

  • 57:18

that matters it does ben's gonna start kicking ass when he stop rapping i'm telling you he is gonna go crazy on you [ __ ] when

  • 57:25

he stop rapping i like his raps though so keep wrapping vince i mean you know i mean like do the other [ __ ] too but

  • 57:31

yeah don't stop look how casually people tell you to do things but i'm saying if you don't know let me

  • 57:36

just skip that because that's a nice little topic there as an aunt as an onlooker you casually

  • 57:42

it's easy to say what somebody else should be doing how hard some of that [ __ ] is gonna keep rapping pursue a tv career

  • 57:49

pursue a broadcasting career some of these [ __ ] take care of my feet like you [ __ ]

  • 57:56

will be asking [ __ ] it ain't but 24 hours in a day so someone said

  • 58:01

oh man hypothetically yeah someone said that and we rolled right up caesar

  • 58:06

one one of them [ __ ] just said yo 24 that's it right there

  • 58:13

the things we just rolled with yo yo that's kind of wild when you think about it though

  • 58:18

they just told y'all yo that's it right there 24. and somehow it's still a bunch of tardy

  • 58:24

unpunctual [ __ ] in the world i'm about i'm abiding by a time metric

  • 58:30

that nobody else is that somebody just made up and nobody really abides by i hate [ __ ] that's not punctual anyway

  • 58:36

uh shout out to vince shout out to the show my brother i love you i have very proud i haven't heard your project yet

  • 58:42

you and i have spoken about it i support everything you're doing you already know what it is with me before

  • 58:47

we leave hip-hop too uh rowdy dropped a single rowdy versus rebel and he told us about it shout out

  • 58:53

to rowdy is this one of the ones that he may or may not have no this wasn't no he was playing heating here oh yes he was

  • 58:59

playing heating but he sent me that heat i was driving and you still haven't sent it to me my bad don't worry about it

  • 59:06

i was out on a saturday night was like hey oh can't can't play this and sav yo there's

  • 59:13

a few of you music exec dudes y'all be sending me do like a private soundcloud link cause

  • 59:20

y'all know i'm a fan yo joe check this [ __ ] out and i check it out i send you some feedback then a week later i go to

  • 59:25

listen to it and the link is gone yo next time

  • 59:30

i try not to do that but i'll be trying to have faith in the relationship no you're leaving here so i won't leak i

  • 59:36

know i know what that is though like he's trying to they're they're probably making some changes to this [ __ ] and then not even no no no no and i don't

  • 59:42

want it to leak leave that link up there

  • 59:49

link sometimes to send [ __ ] around like if i make a change i'm gonna delete the whole [ __ ] and put the new [ __ ] up now

  • 59:54

the link is dead i mean the new [ __ ] uploaded

  • 1:00:04

this is me i got you man you're right there's nothing private on the internet

  • 1:00:11

that's all i'm gonna say about that but no this rowdy versus rebel wrecker i love it because it's a duality song

  • 1:00:17

i liked him i i i didn't he kind of explained it a little bit but when i heard the song where he's saying

  • 1:00:22

you know rowdy is the the rapper uh-huh that's that's

  • 1:00:28

he got the money he's up you know and rebel is [ __ ] you really don't want to see him i'm gonna rob the [ __ ] out yeah yeah

  • 1:00:35

yeah yeah yeah step over he was so happy to meet rowdy rebel he was really cool man

  • 1:00:40

he was real cool he was great he he was great just some of these yeah i like when they come in here and have fun yeah

  • 1:00:46

yeah i love that but yeah shout out to rowdy put this uh this record here and i hope i'm

  • 1:00:51

definitely looking forward to that record that's the singles or whatever he was playing here yeah

  • 1:00:56

she he got some [ __ ] on the way all i think is one good newspaper clipping to make my respect for you go

  • 1:01:03

all away he wore the same outfit yup you got it i

  • 1:01:08

don't even care if it's fake i don't care that is such an ill story that i'm

  • 1:01:14

rolling with that that's a whole movie right now you got it dog for life uh that is impressive yo but uh how how is

  • 1:01:21

it though great yeah i love the uh

  • 1:01:27

the [ __ ] we play with uh yeah yeah i listened to like a little bit of it but it was uh it was it was not my vibe

  • 1:01:33

at nine o'clock in the morning today i had to i had to get something this is a great that est is so great

  • 1:01:41

fabio personally but you know what i mean gunplay drop the table with gunplay a little bit i listen to that some [ __ ] on

  • 1:01:46

there i might play one as a sleeper in fact i thought about that yeah you got something joe no i'm just making

  • 1:01:52

sure i'm just making sure that butcher's getting oh a little bit oh no when did this drop oh i'm just late

  • 1:01:59

on this well corey wreck nah this flora fan album

  • 1:02:05

uh by fana hughes this is great but this was my sleeper today before i had to pay homage to bts

  • 1:02:13

you played one a couple weeks ago i was gonna play a different one but the whole album is crazy you played one like a couple weeks that's your vibe

  • 1:02:19

too yeah y'all duking it out over yeah yeah yeah yes y'all are we're not yeah

  • 1:02:25

we're not so kind of up a little bit tell you the truth i know and that's the problem with consumer [ __ ] today like

  • 1:02:32

the guy that's been doing it for seven eight nine ten years here comes some new new baddie who walks

  • 1:02:38

in with a nice outfit you're like oh the best ever they got one good season we ignore mike

  • 1:02:44

yeah but because when you have one good scene been a year yeah but he wasn't and you know running [ __ ]

  • 1:02:50

and y'all got uh uh convenient amnesia that's not even the term i'm looking for but uh you remember how he started

  • 1:02:58

and then he was improved and now he's gone

  • 1:03:05

[Music] i said you can pull it up when it happened it just did

  • 1:03:11

show me when it's happened in real life this is put him in his most improved little box where you go first and then

  • 1:03:17

you know right but before you get to mvp uh first team

  • 1:03:22

all in yeah i mean like let's just slow it down a little bit y'all too fast to give out genius

  • 1:03:29

and [ __ ] goat and yo the kids gotta hold the goat and forgot every animal

  • 1:03:38

we quick to give it out oh goat [ __ ] you are 18.

  • 1:03:44

some some love and respect on that one too you gotta say go gomez

  • 1:03:50

greatest of my little bitty little bitty ass time i've been on earth you talking about i think this is 19

  • 1:03:56

it's about goat greatest at all all the time better than the dinosaurs even

  • 1:04:05

anyway i got you stupid yo um sid's album uh broken hearts club

  • 1:04:12

i don't know what's happening with the internet but sid is there does it hold you over

  • 1:04:18

yeah no this is great it's great r b is great for me yo it's totally i'm i'm not

  • 1:04:24

i'm not displeased i wonder why that is like rnb doesn't really seem to like disappoint

  • 1:04:31

you know what i'm saying like the anticipation maybe isn't as high i don't i don't you know what i mean like you know what that's a that's a great

  • 1:04:37

question i think i know why though i'll take a shot at it too and i'm sure it's nuance if i'm sure i think that the

  • 1:04:44

tendencies in rap fans versus r b fans

  • 1:04:50

are totally different and i think i had this same talk a million years ago when sean

  • 1:04:56

paul came out sean paul came out after having a million hits out and did 30 000 records and the whole industry at the

  • 1:05:02

time was super hey what the [ __ ] well at least some of us were and other people were saying

  • 1:05:08

just don't worry about it word because he did what he needed watch watch what happens that album will do 30 000 for

  • 1:05:15

the next 97 weeks in a row and hip hop won't and sure enough that's what the hell

  • 1:05:22

them songs start picking up yeah and then r b we had the same talk with her

  • 1:05:28

her came out yeah 30 000. yup i haven't checked but i'm sure she's fine

  • 1:05:33

yeah in hip-hop though i think the rap fans fickle it's a it's

  • 1:05:39

a little tougher to introduce a new act and you get and you get the fan to ride

  • 1:05:45

with that new act versus r b where the r b lovers are searching

  • 1:05:50

constantly right for new fresh dopes amazing r b you know when i get in the

  • 1:05:57

shower and whatever little playlist i had on goes off it starts playing it just starts playing music that is

  • 1:06:03

similar to that [ __ ] to that i know that does that in all categories but i think that the r b lovers respond differently

  • 1:06:12

i rush and go buy all them shits i don't know that in hip hop the fans are doing that and no you were saying oh

  • 1:06:18

no he had a feeling i think you got some two on this yeah good i think the talent is different so i think that when you listen in the hip

  • 1:06:24

hop the words are more of the skill yeah when you're listening to r b the singing

  • 1:06:31

the musicianship even though it's musicianship loved and hip-hop too i think that the sound and the mood that

  • 1:06:38

you get from r b when a r b song come on it catch me right when a rap song come on the beat could

  • 1:06:44

catch you but if the lyrics is ass as a again that's the older thing with

  • 1:06:49

you because a lot of these [ __ ] today the beating the hook is is fired and the song is firing but they don't know what

  • 1:06:54

they're saying in today's hip hop a lot of the beats and hooks sound alike too which is why a lot of the songs are

  • 1:07:00

received the same way now my take on that is in hip-hop it is it's harder to find a to break a

  • 1:07:06

new act and have the fans ride with you all away hip-hop is more follow the leader

  • 1:07:12

so if the right people like you then they're going to follow you over there

  • 1:07:17

and then the second they jump off onto something else you were never hot especially if all of y'all sound alike

  • 1:07:22

you were like i see what happened with the greats damn near i've seen people killing nelly jar eminem fifty like

  • 1:07:28

these [ __ ] have sold diamond like that's just too long well to that point because you're right

  • 1:07:34

i think marketing is different when it comes to on give me the last

  • 1:07:39

uh clout chasey or gimmicky thing that an r b act did to let you know that their album was coming i can't really

  • 1:07:45

    think about it i don't even know outside of august and the entanglement i can't think of one yeah i can't the r b [ __ ]

  • 1:07:52

gotta really rely on their voice and their music to cut

  • 1:08:08

because hip-hop is more lucrative than r b at the moment so the labels and

  • 1:08:14

all of them are willing to dump more money in here to get the [ __ ] going so they could cash out and it's that's why it's more smoking

  • 1:08:20

mirrors over here whereas in r b it's talent you might be right you gotta put some good music out i think everybody's

  • 1:08:26

like in the music people everybody's right the feeling that i get when i hear a certain r b i don't get from hip-hop

  • 1:08:32

it's very very seldom like i'm talking about just in a organic way when the [ __ ] come on

  • 1:08:38

i feel something right what's the chick uh pardon me not chick but the young lady from england cleo soul

  • 1:08:44

dog when i first heard that [ __ ] i was just like yo this is something that's different yeah

  • 1:08:49

yeah the feeling that you get when you hear certain music

  • 1:08:55

it just speaks for itself though i don't got to know you i don't know your back history i don't know how many [ __ ] you

  • 1:09:00

shot i don't know who you getting no head to i just feel away when your [ __ ] comes on it should be like that hip hop a few

  • 1:09:07

weeks ago or whatever that was on this pod i like yours we were having a hip-hop talk and i was like yo

  • 1:09:14

i have just i said we and then i said i have outgrown a lot of this [ __ ] in hip-hop i've outgrown a lot right we did

  • 1:09:20

that part and a few days later i saw a tweet i wish i could remember

  • 1:09:25

the young lady's name because it was poignant but it was attacking what i had said and

  • 1:09:31

i'm not angry at what you said but it was something along the lines of i don't care who you are

  • 1:09:38

rapper producer dj whoever if you can say that you have outgrown

  • 1:09:45

hip-hop you were never really in love with hip-hop and she

  • 1:09:50

doubled she she just wrote about that and it was an interesting conversation online i think she was only saying that

  • 1:09:55

because i had said it because who else comes out and says i have outgrown a lot of [ __ ] and hit by ain't just that's not a common conversation that you hear i

  • 1:10:02

don't anyway i i actually agree with her sentiment i think that the difference is in i don't want to speak for you but

  • 1:10:09

maybe you mean the [ __ ] around hip-hop i think that we know what we i think that when you hear something dope

  • 1:10:14

you still go yo that [ __ ] is dope yeah you can never fall out of love with hip-hop if you're in it like if you love

  • 1:10:20

it for real i agree with that part but what some of us call hip-hop is the business or the mainstream hip-hop

  • 1:10:27

that's being fed to us yeah and so and that side of the business

  • 1:10:32

you just can't get me with anymore i don't even care about the business i care about the music right but i care

  • 1:10:38

about how i feel when your song comes on right and yeah but it can't but you don't know that you care about the

  • 1:10:44

business because some of that [ __ ] that's in front of your face it only gets there because of business that's what i was trying to say i could

  • 1:10:49

believe that the business is controlling the music in hip-hop so you're just my god versus the music controlling exactly

  • 1:10:56

the business i'm gonna always champion the latter instead of the former the the the song ice played as a sleeper the kid

  • 1:11:02

from philly yeah that [ __ ] hit and i was like whoa cause he got mad at me for that i said whoa

  • 1:11:08

the hip-hop [ __ ] that i played two weeks ago that boy can rap right so i think that

  • 1:11:15

the music is just going to hit you yo it just got to be a feeling i don't give a [ __ ] who the labels is pushing if i don't like you i don't like you but what

  • 1:11:21

we're saying is is in hip-hop particularly you don't get a chance to hear you don't hear the labels behind you i'm sorry it's not going to get on

  • 1:11:27

the playlist it's not going to get an algorithm you're not going to hear it because that that dude uh ryan blaze from from toronto

  • 1:11:33

it's a lot of that it's a lot of zoom a lot but it'll never cross your radar because it's designed that way hip-hop

  • 1:11:41

is too lucrative it's too much money in there so they're going to control that a little bit tighter than they are with

  • 1:11:46

other genres that's valid no that's my guess i guess yeah they making millions and dollars

  • 1:11:55

not to this extent not until it becomes like more the popular popular rbs once you get to pop

  • 1:12:00

yeah once you get to that pop level yeah r b no but the playlist and uh because again like joe said yo i could be listening to

  • 1:12:06

some [ __ ] and the second it goes off they'll play some other [ __ ] and i'll be like whoa

  • 1:12:12

whoa whoa whoa who the [ __ ] is that you know what i'm saying then i'm looking like who was that yeah because the sound got me right

  • 1:12:19

right so i guess if you listen to certain genres of hip-hop it the the playlist people don't push that i don't

  • 1:12:26

know i'm just asking out of curiosity no no you got to be affiliated with

  • 1:12:31

people really honestly in these playlists and in this algorithm all that [ __ ] is controlled by

  • 1:12:37

them just like heavy rotation in in radio yeah some of these ads make sure we'll have

  • 1:12:42

the song pop up in the algorithm three hours after the song that you liked went off

  • 1:12:48

that don't really help we're not gonna let this rock for three hours all of us some people are right sure or

  • 1:12:53

hey make that come on right when they finish right after they [ __ ] go off put this on like if i come listen to what

  • 1:12:58

you're calling uh her right like if i'm in my house and i might [ __ ] with alexa

  • 1:13:04

yeah that her chris brown comes on the first song and that's where blockchain is first and

  • 1:13:10

that's where blockchain is really going to change [ __ ] this decade i wonder when it's already started but it

  • 1:13:16

is almost because hershey get paid for that uh

  • 1:13:22

if the her song went off and now nine times out of ten the next

  • 1:13:27

song that comes on is this artist then her needs to get something from

  • 1:13:33

that because i know that sounds for posture no it doesn't no don't you're somewhat responsible i get it you said it about the drink i say it all john you

  • 1:13:39

said it about the drake [ __ ] one time i think 21 was saying we don't understand how valuable drake is until you start to

  • 1:13:45

get um around the playlist people and all that other [ __ ] yeah you said something like that about the drake [ __ ]

  • 1:13:50

and i understand it at first but now i understand what you think you said that about the you know spotify podcast

  • 1:13:56

i said it was just it's applicable everywhere listen uh nick cannon was vocal i think on one of these shows or

  • 1:14:02

maybe it was a private conversation i don't remember but looking at it they do it on tv all the time

  • 1:14:07

right after love and hip hop they put black ink yep why because this is our hat chances are

  • 1:14:13

you're going to like this after the award show they did it with this is us they put this is us on after the super bowl let's listen they know what they're

  • 1:14:19

doing here what is this here oh this is the tweet yes churches la porsche you found the tweet

  • 1:14:25

this was a popular tweet sure it's not that popular well i saw it cersei la porsche i like that name if

  • 1:14:32

you can grow out of hip-hop you're not and never wear hip-hop at all period i don't care if you are were a rapper

  • 1:14:38

producer label owner whatever she's absolutely right she's absolutely right i agree

  • 1:14:45

i agree with you but you definitely can grow out of the gimmicks the [ __ ]

  • 1:14:50

the uh being fooled by marketing promotion or

  • 1:14:56

talentless artists because today there's a lot of artists

  • 1:15:01

    that ain't artists man it's just machine it's machine [ __ ] yep it's

  • 1:15:06

like [ __ ] self-checkout this is i'm not getting into it you said self-checkout

  • 1:15:13

yeah elaborate what what are you talking about i mean machine generated i mean no

  • 1:15:19

human around to give a human pulse to things you ever uh you ever

  • 1:15:25

call call a credit card company or any company and you a hotel anywhere and you want to get a human on the phone but

  • 1:15:31

it's like an automated series that you have to get through 90 million questions you keep trying to press zero

  • 1:15:37

or say operator representative representative now we need a few more questions before we can put you through to a human

  • 1:15:43

and you're like yo you're not understanding my human reaction to some some things you just are a [ __ ]

  • 1:15:49

computer yeah that's what i mean it's not it's not music you can feel it's just

  • 1:15:55

music that's made computers only and it sounds like it

  • 1:16:02

that's exactly what it is too it's made computers only it's it's the algorithm scene we're not even looking we need to

  • 1:16:07

make is the sound yeah you know how crazy it is we don't even need you humans to like it

  • 1:16:13

as long as some other robots like it and we can show those numbers then we out of here

  • 1:16:19

so i mean it's not that music is not for us and and i have the unfortunate uh

  • 1:16:27

uh the totally unfortunate ear of being able to pick up on on some of that stuff

  • 1:16:35

and normally that critique is it's too clean you can just tell when music is made yeah it's too perfect a certain way

  • 1:16:42

music is not art is not meant to be perfect not at all it's meant to be imperfect that's what beauty lies

  • 1:16:49

yeah um but moving on we're done with uh music shout out to sid so happy that she came

  • 1:16:55

back yeah so happy that she came back actually around the part um

  • 1:17:01

are we done with music i think that's all i had yeah i don't think anything else in my bag i didn't have anything else in uh

  • 1:17:08

music either what else was there i can't believe the yankees but i'm not gonna get the

  • 1:17:14

sport uh katanji brown round of applause absolutely yes give her another one katanji brown round

  • 1:17:21

    of applause she did it it's done after having to sit through all that [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ]

  • 1:17:28

dog the questions they was asking about this country is just scary

  • 1:17:34

scary scary like an understatement that fam she's been has a marvelous

  • 1:17:39

legal education she has a vast practical experience something i think is a real

  • 1:17:44

plus i will vote no i can say definitively that i like her i think she's a good person but i cannot support

  • 1:17:51

her she seems like a wonderful human being she comes with some impressive qualifications academically and

  • 1:17:56

professionally i will vote no and indeed she has a very impressive resume i am

  • 1:18:01

certainly going to vote no i mean she's the realization of an american dream so

  • 1:18:07

uh i will not be supporting her nomination i enjoyed the opportunity to meet her family they obviously are and

  • 1:18:13

should be proud of her achievements i can't support her nomination very gifted uh

  • 1:18:18

that's the one that she's heard fought hard to be where she's at in life i'll vote no i'm the first first time

  • 1:18:24

i've ever voted against any supreme court nominee no the one that hurt me the most was the one i was like um

  • 1:18:31

she's the epitome of what the american dream should be but i'm a vote no that one hurt me the most because i'm

  • 1:18:38

playing the game and in playing the game my family got to meet you my family got to meet this person that

  • 1:18:45

hate me and i hate but this is the politics of it and then you get to get up there and say what a marvelous family

  • 1:18:52

marvel and a pleasure man wow she's amazing y'all did an amazing job there's no way in god's green earth i can support her that is nuts

  • 1:18:59

that's disgusting we need a third party no fam she's been no the third party helped us i know we needed more actor it

  • 1:19:05

was two independents the two independents voted yay for her and then what's dude named rand paul

  • 1:19:10

rand paul was stuck in the bathroom they're taking the boat he won't even come out it's like a slap in the face

  • 1:19:16

some of these shits yeah they ain't like this is just a difference i mean it is if you

  • 1:19:22

see it there's a whole another group of people that says well he had to really use the bathroom i know

  • 1:19:27

i'm saying that no no no i know i know yo it's nuts like i looked at the

  • 1:19:32

numbers and the numbers um two republicans voted yay

  • 1:19:37

only two and two independents and the score was on 53-47

  • 1:19:44

fam she's the most qualified supreme court candidate ever

  • 1:19:51

across the board so this th this this would be my i might potentially vote for something we don't

  • 1:19:56

like give a [ __ ] i know this would be my point my point being the game of thrones yo this is not about the people about

  • 1:20:02

how we got to be qualified to even get no this is not about the people qualification ain't enough no but yo th

  • 1:20:08

this is not about the american people at this point y'all just y'all just playing politics yeah you know what i'm saying

  • 1:20:13

so parties gang wars [ __ ] is yes that's exactly what it is judge katanji brown jackson

  • 1:20:19

was confirmed thursday to become the 116th supreme court justice here are key

  • 1:20:24

things to know about how today's vote unfolded well we know how it unfolded jackson was confirmed by voter 53 uh yes

  • 1:20:31

47 days three gop senators we don't need two oh it's three republicans i thought it was two

  • 1:20:38

congratulations to her uh and this is extremely important

  • 1:20:44

extremely important and it was just great to see uh my mom text me as it was happening

  • 1:20:49

hey history's being made right now like i always love when the older people yeah

  • 1:20:54

they'd be happy a lot of them never thought they'd ever see fam they come from a time they come from this is like

  • 1:20:59

us seeing cars fly or some [ __ ] like you never even imagined it they come from a time fan where you're

  • 1:21:06

just imagining when you had to get up somebody said you'll get up you mean get up [ __ ] yo biting by

  • 1:21:12

biting so cute man this clip was going around the internet uh they were celebrating the anniversary of obamacare

  • 1:21:18

um so buying invited obama through to the white house

  • 1:21:26

everybody comes storming obama that [ __ ] looked like the backup quarterback that won the super bowl

  • 1:21:33

like the fourth string quarterback he was looking like y'all i why isn't anyone speaking to me kamala smiling now

  • 1:21:42

[Applause] this obama biden clip remind me of leah

  • 1:21:48

uh leo dicaprio and jeff bezos we never found out the backstory on that

  • 1:21:53

too do any of y'all think that y'all could keep y'all y'alls slide

  • 1:22:01

that night in the event that leo was there in that suit smelling good smelling like some [ __ ] you can't buy in

  • 1:22:07

nordstrom's here slick to the side he hugged your girl a little a little a

  • 1:22:13

little tighter than the introduction hug the game the game man cologne left on her dress the game is the game

  • 1:22:20

i've been i've been beat by lesser men than him she going fellas [ __ ]

  • 1:22:30

i got like 16 dollars in the pocket are you good they're good that's a fun part talk about the lesser

  • 1:22:36

    minute one

  • 1:22:50

why can't i ever win oh man that was funny yeah i can't wait

  • 1:22:55

so he turned around though like y'all i'll give him love yeah it's like they [ __ ] it but you're not gonna love

  • 1:23:02

    obama walking man that's crazy

  • 1:23:12

put their arms up like what the [ __ ] yo it's funny dog that's crazy you know what's funny i think about this type of

  • 1:23:18

[ __ ] in my mind because it'd be funny a lot but it's funny when you think of like the men that are at the like i'd be

  • 1:23:23

joking about the rock and what if your girl liked the rock but those are surface names like when you

  • 1:23:29

start digging deep in this category it's way funnier like what if albert pools like there's some names out there that

  • 1:23:35

you ain't they ain't really at the tip of your mind but but you should kind of did you know that she's going up please

  • 1:23:41

no no she's going oh please oh she's getting out of here he's moving

  • 1:23:47

wherever he's at no it's a couple she's going to make a girl move to his city

  • 1:23:52

and he got enough bread she changed her number that ain't your girl [ __ ] [ __ ] you talking about you can't even reach her you share that girl

  • 1:23:59

no she's not yours you lost that girl you don't share her yeah now you have to

  • 1:24:04

tell the war stories about when you used to deal with her that's crazy you gotta tell your friends

  • 1:24:23

like hey i just was walking around like hey i take them today come on everybody

  • 1:24:29

no no some of you [ __ ] is lucky ai wasn't in your division i kept bumping in

  • 1:24:37

some of y'all never seen them so i kept seeing them with 100 chains on freshly done cornrows

  • 1:24:44

freshly done when jerseys was in he had all the hot jerseys hey y'all that's that [ __ ] yeah no doubt like you take

  • 1:24:50

that hey if i didn't think he was that [ __ ] you learned me that south beach weekend what's your name keisha karen kim oh

  • 1:24:55

come on ollie yeah oh yeah all three of your personalities come on that [ __ ] and they leave it and they coming yeah

  • 1:25:01

that [ __ ] was different and then you can't be mad at it no the game is the game is the game

  • 1:25:07

that's when you just got to go back and uh do some more push-ups and get your money right you work on the crossover

  • 1:25:12

that's when you gotta get on your level get on your level get on your level

  • 1:25:18

it always take another [ __ ] to show you what level you're supposed to be on you're feeling yourself

  • 1:25:24

man look at the baby go ahead you just feel romantic that night man

  • 1:25:30

intoxicated that night that's that's the killer right there yeah i know tequila that's yeah that's

  • 1:25:36

definitely tequila hey fam did you did you see the the dude the the other dude

  • 1:25:42

his his his baby mom's brother oh you got his hair like you listening to the podcast

  • 1:25:49

he listened to the podcast we told him to cut his hair and he cut it you told her [ __ ] you need to be

  • 1:25:54

getting the one with the seat anyone got it i got it too i just went and got it too and they [ __ ] dread dreaded dread rolled me

  • 1:26:02

down the boat about down al nine try to roll

  • 1:26:08

it was a strike [ __ ] hit all the pins nah i would be mad too the baby can't get some sugar

  • 1:26:14

man yeah all right the baby gonna go ahead and give him some charge that's what he wants that's what you're gonna get my [ __ ]

  • 1:26:20

  • 1:26:25

nah right after the show on tequila i need some sugar man all right you know the mood he was in we

  • 1:26:31

just didn't know it was a uh charge ain't nothing but cameras in

  • 1:26:37

front of them yo it's [ __ ] up the hood chicks learned about lawsuits man it's over that's like when they learned about

  • 1:26:42

chanel yo the hood chicks is like wait a minute

  • 1:26:49

now i think that's a loss when they found out about mykonos you

  • 1:26:55

don't even want to go though you're like yeah that was it oh no no they found out

  • 1:27:00

about it yeah my nose tulum lawsuits and chanel

  • 1:27:07

oh man oh yeah yo he looks hilarious man he that's the king love definitely he

  • 1:27:13

[ __ ] up he's out of his eyes he's [ __ ] up you know what you know why this went

  • 1:27:18

wrong outside of her not want to do it of course this is in comedic fashion

  • 1:27:24

typically as a man who feels he is irresistible

  • 1:27:30

and this moment never happened between me and the woman the man's normally taller so the stare down the gaze and

  • 1:27:36

the lean in to get the kiss there's more time allowed this nigga's eye to eye

  • 1:28:23

me and my booboos love each other to death but ain't no kissing that's right the baby that's right god damn it

  • 1:28:31

he don't know yo i can't say anything about him i've never been the guy to lean in for the kiss when i didn't know

  • 1:28:37

that she would kiss me i've never done it it's a different type of courage yeah i've done it sometimes i'm very rare

  • 1:28:43

though and i tell girls like yo throw the cheek at you nah somebody just be like nah [ __ ]

  • 1:28:50

you're like you just feel this big but it's happened a couple times i ain't gonna hold you

  • 1:29:07

signal you know how hard that is to just daringly lean in for the kids i i have to highlight it you just do

  • 1:29:14

that to that stuff see that's why i don't do it just asking for consent today i don't do it because

  • 1:29:19

if i'm doing it it's the moment it's not you so i'm gonna give you the most passionate kiss in the world saturday

  • 1:29:26

night at whatever time it is and you're gonna want that same kiss the rest of the week and i ain't gonna hold you nah

  • 1:29:31

it's not no and then you're gonna wait a couple of months today yeah they catch me like yeah

  • 1:29:40

    [Music]

  • 1:29:47

extremely wet when you used to kiss me and then you stacked so now it's like

  • 1:29:53

is that it so yo girls are such suckers for the the

  • 1:30:00

kiss during sex and the talk during sex now now that i know that i'm just saying flagrant [ __ ] during the sex

  • 1:30:06

i'm saying anything they they like the flavors they start making these noises today

  • 1:30:13

like you hear them just melt i'm like damn that was a lie you melted off the line

  • 1:30:19

yeah the [ __ ] you think you do now now you know why we're encouraged to lie

  • 1:30:24

i didn't want the truth when i seen how you melted over the line now i got it i got

  • 1:30:29

asking a question that's a very good question look at the response to lie getting you want the

  • 1:30:35

truth yo the truth just got me heartache and arguments and

  • 1:30:40

no i'm gonna get these lives off especially all in comedic fashion with that

  • 1:30:46

they put that grip on with the law i'm gonna keep lying baby go you're the grace they be known i'm lying

  • 1:30:53

for you you like these lies you like the lies that little vice grip

  • 1:30:58

you had on told me something told me something i don't want a lot of you they'll take

  • 1:31:03

the lies when your dick is good that's why you got to get the girls to have small friend groups because it just be big friend groups that get them to know

  • 1:31:09

that you lying and like act on it it's toxic

  • 1:31:14

    oh you

  • 1:31:32

uh coy lee ray says benzino's threatening her mom because coy said he went broke during an interview this is

  • 1:31:38

super interesting to me uh also very triggering to me yeah it's touchy deep conversation to be had

  • 1:31:45

here i don't know if i'm trying to get that deep uh but coyly ray says

  • 1:31:50

build a [ __ ] bridge and get over it oh bottom uh my dad is texting my mom threatening her and me because i said we

  • 1:31:57

went broke on the breakfast club on the day of my album release i hate to bring this [ __ ] to social media but my father

  • 1:32:02

needs help sorry if i offended you say well you you shouldn't bring it to social media i don't

  • 1:32:08

i know we referenced a lotto talk a lot at what point do they learn that some things shouldn't be on social media but

  • 1:32:15

let me finish reading y'all thinking i hate to bring social reading media but my father needs help sorry if i offended

  • 1:32:20

you in the breakfast club but don't uh but don't treat me or my mom because you hate to admit that we went broke after

  • 1:32:27

the source build a [ __ ] bridge and get over it that's why i don't even like mentioning his name that's why i never mention his name coming into this

  • 1:32:33

industry because he can't get over his past and don't even realize how much he is damaging when he does this stuff end

  • 1:32:39

quote that's heavy it is that's really heavy it's heavy

  • 1:32:45

uh she's young uh she's admitted that her and her dad

  • 1:32:50

are in the relationship building process right now that can get tricky

  • 1:32:55

with boundaries and both people learning how to treat each other and love each other right

  • 1:33:01

    so i understand that um

  • 1:33:07

this is interesting to me i'm on her side by the way i'm on her side in this i read benzino's

  • 1:33:14

reply which was some along the lines of yo these kids don't

  • 1:33:20

respect the things that came before them and they should know how important it was in paving the way so they could have

  • 1:33:26

the proper uh the chance that they have now something like that

  • 1:33:31

and while that's true i don't get what that had to do with what she was saying i i agree with what he's saying but

  • 1:33:38

what does that have to do with her statements he's saying they both can be true

  • 1:33:43

but i think what you are about to say i can't say what you were about to say but

  • 1:33:49

something would it have hurt for her not to say that on the breakfast club

  • 1:33:55

now i also want to say she said a lot of great amazing things about her dad on the breakfast club

  • 1:34:01

    interview gotcha okay i didn't hear it but so i did i didn't i didn't hear this

  • 1:34:07

part all i heard was the admiration and tip tiptoe in the line and being

  • 1:34:13

respectful and saying no matter where their relationship is all i heard was you know my dad is the greatest man in

  • 1:34:19

the world him and i are getting better and i just want to make him proud but i want to do it on my own it's hard

  • 1:34:25

and it could have been a truthful situation where we might have been going through it for a little while which is not necessarily

  • 1:34:33

you know what i mean like it's it's hard to judge me parents got to get the [ __ ] out of the way if that's what the kid wants of the career i mean yeah

  • 1:34:40

that's the angle that i'm taking here i've heard it from too many famous people's kids

  • 1:34:47

i've heard it from my kid these kids and it's a tough pill to swallow for a parent we work our whole

  • 1:34:53

life to afford a better life for our kids and then our kid comes and says

  • 1:34:58

thanks but i don't give a [ __ ] i need to carve my own way i need to make a name for myself

  • 1:35:04

actually lebron was just talking about that on the shop with brawny he said that brawny came up with the name ronnie

  • 1:35:10

and brony said dad good looking but move it i need to create my own

  • 1:35:15

and that's what coily uh coily ray said in that interview that's what i heard it's sad that benzino feels the need to

  • 1:35:22

impede on that for a second time he did that with exposing the nikki feature that could have been bad that could have

  • 1:35:27

been very that could have ended bad if she don't have that nikki featuring record things are affected greatly yeah

  • 1:35:34

    not only that if if that sours that relationship and then nikki's like yo i don't [ __ ] like i don't want to [ __ ]

  • 1:35:40

with her there's a lot of people that would not get behind her because they don't want to piss nikki off and that could have

  • 1:35:46

had ripples that really crippled her career yeah 100 and benzino respectfully

  • 1:35:52

you had your time i know because i was outside i'm also

  • 1:35:57

one of the people that championed your participation in this thing you can't really unless you already like

  • 1:36:04

you did the source uh the records of the old crew in boston

  • 1:36:09

amen like if you're familiar with benzino boy he's done a lot

  • 1:36:15

but it's her turn now it's her turn now and your story can be whatever you want

  • 1:36:22

it to be post the source post whatever happened nothing and her

  • 1:36:27

success he still will get some glory even in her success yo all marty rso

  • 1:36:32

that's what i was thinking that was the other group yeah yo um

  • 1:36:39

we don't get to tell our kids what their story is if her story and her interpretation is

  • 1:36:45

yo when that sore [ __ ] happened times got rough then it don't matter that you was up

  • 1:36:52

it don't matter that you want people to believe you was up it don't matter how difficult that time

  • 1:36:57

was for you put that to the side it ain't your story now

  • 1:37:02

it's hers and her story is i remember times being a little tough

  • 1:37:07

when that happened you can't get mad at your daughter for sharing that on the radio when her debut

  • 1:37:12

album is dropping that's not your place and it's not my place to tell you how to parent so i won't mind my business i love both of them

  • 1:37:20

i want them to be right it sickens me some of the parent child

  • 1:37:25

stories i see today some of the co-parenting stories i see today but you got to mind your business this one is

  • 1:37:32

sad because as a dad you know what it takes for your 20 year

  • 1:37:37

old to get [ __ ] popping out there i told trey the other day [ __ ] coily ray busting your ass if you don't get your ass out

  • 1:37:45

the [ __ ] got a start pit looking at the other kids

  • 1:37:50

[ __ ] what are you doing driving around you better go bang on something

  • 1:37:55

um but you know how tough it is for your kid to gain that type of traction because you've been there you know all

  • 1:38:02

it entails it's tough she didn't want to step on that or dimnet or bring some dad

  • 1:38:08

previous [ __ ] into this no and she it was extra tough for her because

  • 1:38:14

she did it without using your name yeah intentionally oh i'm but still yeah that that's taking the harder out

  • 1:38:20

true like [ __ ] didn't know that was his daughter until after i didn't i didn't so after she popped i had no idea

  • 1:38:26

so she intended she still had to go find a big purr yeah yeah

  • 1:38:32

still had to do it whether we know that's your dad or not she still had to go and hit the ball out the park which she did man

  • 1:38:39

i hope that they both get better with with their their relationship uh i care about both of them i'll pray

  • 1:38:45

for both of them and this is a unique story because how often do we get to hear from both sides

  • 1:38:52

yes yeah shout out to both of them i hope they work it out oh and benzino says let me

  • 1:38:58

read it so people the problem with the social uh social generation is they have uh no respect or regard but who came

  • 1:39:04

before them and how they laid the blueprint for them to be successful i always revered those who came before me

  • 1:39:10

and i am grateful to the legends of hip hop pursue their dreams and aspirations and idiot i don't know what happened here

  • 1:39:17

was i supposed to read the bottom no all you young people who are in their 20s and successful at rapping chances

  • 1:39:23

are you still will be rapping in your 50s period when the younger generation starts listening more and respect the

  • 1:39:29

older before them dot dot dot dot that's hate

  • 1:39:34

hate you can't do that you cannot hate and while that could be a segway into

  • 1:39:41

hating on your kid or your parents or your significant other i'll skip it

  • 1:39:46

but that's hate you can't say the kids today and still be rapping in their 50s because that's what we did

  • 1:39:52

that's what we did and if you look these kids are doing a lot more than y'all was doing they're getting it's just way more

  • 1:39:58

advertising they're going to show us differently and so that when they're 30

  • 1:40:04

years in it will look nothing like this the [ __ ] athletes from back in the day when you hear them talk now you're

  • 1:40:09

like oh but there was hand checking back then yeah it's changed yeah yeah it's different things

  • 1:40:14

happening shooting from 40 feet with consistency not only that a lot of these young 20 successful rappers today saw

  • 1:40:22

your mistakes now they learn from and they learn they're looking at what we just heard a little baby say if i sign a deal i need equity not only saw

  • 1:40:29

some were affected by correct yeah sure correct it gets deeper they put a report out there rihanna is at a

  • 1:40:36

1.7 bill she's the wealthiest person maybe entertainer ever from barbados but

  • 1:40:43

i think they said she might be the wealthiest person in barbados and she's in her what 30s

  • 1:40:50

yeah fam they're playing this setting she's setting a path for

  • 1:40:56

females coming behind her that kim or lauren or

  • 1:41:02

patty labelle any of them have set for her you get what i'm saying like right so you got to get all [ __ ] they props

  • 1:41:07

but the young people picking up baton and taking it further and the old [ __ ] can't hate on the the younger ones for doing that

  • 1:41:14

because it's a lot of that that happens oh my day we didn't get today well that was your day it's a new day

  • 1:41:20

information is here do y'all want to talk about the weekend sticking up coachella allegedly yeah let's get to

  • 1:41:26

ice do you believe he stuck up coachella i do parks do you believe it i'm sure you tried let me let the listeners know

  • 1:41:32

kanye backed out of coachella it was said he was receiving eight and a half

  • 1:41:37

million dollar payday they announced that they booked the weekend to fill the slot

  • 1:41:44

and then once that eight million dollar headline came out the weekend had a headline come out to say oh no i want

  • 1:41:49

eight million too i'm not doing it and then we had another headline come out after that to say the weekend got

  • 1:41:55

    his 8 million i don't believe it

  • 1:42:00

i don't believe you got whatever kanye was getting i don't believe that now for a second

  • 1:42:06

when when coachella is a week away yeah that's why i think he got it

  • 1:42:13

to fill that spot in that short term with us against the wall and we know the money

  • 1:42:18

was there set to pay out nah that's what you're paying him i want that or i'm backing out too unless you start to scramble all over again then

  • 1:42:25

you can back out or we pay you and you don't back out and i do think they paid him so he

  • 1:42:31

didn't back out i just don't think they paid him what kanye was going to be paid even if it says kanye was going to be

  • 1:42:36

paid 8 million i could [ __ ] he might have asked for more yeah it's possible i wouldn't be shocked if

  • 1:42:42

coachella put that [ __ ] out yeah callie was gonna eat from us because the weekend can get eight

  • 1:42:47

but kanye probably was getting more he wasn't you know [ __ ] eight million put that down there so that dude yeah that's what he'll and if he was getting

  • 1:42:53

8 million in fees then i'm sure kanye's production budget is different from the weekend's production but there is a

  • 1:42:59

difference somewhere in this it ain't the same feat for coachella that is speculative on joe's part but i

  • 1:43:06

know enough to know that and on top of that now the headliner isn't just the weekend it's just the weekend house mafia and the weekend

  • 1:43:13

yeah you didn't get kanye money with split and stop yo stop this is more that weaken you my man but

  • 1:43:19

i don't even know that he put this out but this is smoking mirrors not that it matters to me how

  • 1:43:25

long are they on the stage yeah i'm probably not watching that lineup no way and that lineup swedish house mafia the

  • 1:43:31

weeknd dodger cat joji jamie run the jewels carol g maggie

  • 1:43:37

  • 1:43:44

  • 1:43:52

  • 1:45:20

    yeah [ __ ] is a [ __ ] scam yes i agree with that there goes joe hating

  • 1:45:27

on artists that are more successful than him ah this is just acknowledging something yeah amber mark

  • 1:45:33

  • 1:48:13

last so now they gotta start doing some eccentric [ __ ] but what we're saying is they only have two episodes to do it i

  • 1:48:19

  • 1:48:24

by episode nine on a 10 episode order i expect them to be getting into something by episode no i'm saying something

  • 1:48:30

besides just what i'm saying yeah i'm saying i think in the next episode of the one to come two or three

  • 1:48:36

of the main characters will be dead that's what i'm saying they all could die

  • 1:53:19

grace for real we've been real nice to this episode man the writers or somebody here needs to

touchdowns and a half nine interceptions

  • 1:55:38

that would have been good she's turned it around big time in uh new orleans no we're gonna get y'all baker and dwayne

  • 1:55:43

in the qb room to talk to each other now they got mitch

  • 1:55:50

[Music] it's gonna be so hard to draft a good fantasy team this year yo this is gonna

  • 1:55:55

be nuts yo it's gonna be tough it's upside down it's gonna be low a lot of [ __ ] gonna be like i'm i'm

  • 1:56:01

waiting for august i can't wait what's your man you driving something in the corner you ain't even driving

  • 1:56:06

taylor i auto drafted and won the championship

  • 1:56:11

i human drafted my other draft so what does that say the algorithm the

  • 1:56:17

algorithm's got you dogs maybe those algorithms are right yankees have not signed aaron judge

  • 1:56:25

    why that's that's it i don't have a take i don't have an opinion

  • 1:56:30

    you all know what time it is i don't i don't actually i don't

  • 1:56:35

aaron judge is not signing no extension for 225 million dollars why does everybody know that but the yankees i

  • 1:56:42

don't know why you don't know why what he wants huh yeah why is that

  • 1:56:48

he's street clothes no he's not damn called [ __ ] no he's not hey

  • 1:56:54

he's not street club sheesh he be hurt a lot my [ __ ]

  • 1:57:00

he gets hurt a lot fam i'm putting people how many years for the 225

  • 1:57:06

it's an extension so i don't know but you're not signing an extension if you are him

  • 1:57:12

baseball got that i'm i'm i'm i'm um seven years you would never you seeing too many

  • 1:57:19

people get 350 for 10. now uh for you to take that you're

  • 1:57:24

homegrown you're from the farm system of the yankees you're six eight 270 you're a

  • 1:57:32

home run machine we've never seen nothing like this since before i was born the yankees just don't

  • 1:57:38

get this to fall on their lap and now y'all don't want to give them what y'all supposed to give them

  • 1:57:44

hey he's remarkable 30 minutes in a year what do you think y'all are doing y'all and this is the game marketable this is the game they be trying to play man

  • 1:57:51

no you won't you'll pay him you'll pay him and make 10x on your side

  • 1:57:59

he just want his side just the funny part you're not going to let him go this is yours with the yeah it with the

  • 1:58:05

yankees though they're gonna make that money regardless it's like the knicks we had this conversation off mike last week

  • 1:58:11

some of these owners don't give a [ __ ] if you're if you're a dolan do you really care if the knicks winning ish i

  • 1:58:18

love you get this conversation out of here because all we know of the yankees is championship it's ownership

  • 1:58:25

it's not like james dolan there's a mix where he didn't care the yankees and cat and that cashman um i was touching on

  • 1:58:30

you steinberger you know steinberg he's gonna win [ __ ] he'll he'll sell the brooklyn bridge

  • 1:58:36

that's why this is weird the yankees typically pay they change they pay they overpay everybody

  • 1:58:43

yeah but don't be tired of it when it's your guy don't be tired of it when it's your guy

  • 1:58:49

and when your lineup when you're pitching when everything is set up for you to win you've underachieved you brought the bum ass coach back

  • 1:58:57

[ __ ] coach you don't do it with yours i hate when people do it to theirs yeah i know

  • 1:59:04

there's a joke there cause people feel like i've done it tomorrow but you can't do that to your people yo

  • 1:59:11

and he's gonna get paid yes no question by the yankees yes yes

  • 1:59:18

okay i don't follow the yankees the yankees will fold they're just playing some hardball this is just this is the

  • 1:59:23

first round of negotiations but what was they saying it had to be the deal had to be done by the start of regular season

  • 1:59:29

or something right nick he's getting 30 million a year they were saying it had to be they had a number on friday 105. it's not the money what do you think you

  • 1:59:34

    want 40 35 i think that he

  • 1:59:40

i think athlete minds are the same same way debo samuel zeke all the [ __ ] that hold out i think that aaron judge looks

  • 1:59:47

at those other dudes that are 350 and 400 million and says i'm way better than them and if i ain't i want to be the top

  • 1:59:54

paid guy in the league based off what i can do when i'm present i'm not coming to work for 225 million and somebody

  • 2:00:01

else is getting 350 375 and i'm in the same ballpark no way and i'm on the [ __ ] biggest franchise and and i'm

  • 2:00:07

with the professional sportsman and i'm supermarketable no agent

  • 2:00:14

30 million is like basketball player money i'm the best in a sport with no salary

  • 2:00:20

cap man if y'all don't get this [ __ ] out of here somewhere so they're lowballing them basically

  • 2:00:25

yeah that's a little ball okay call hardball all right pay aaron joe joe they will

  • 2:00:30

and y'all saying do it and do it fast it's a little song and dance i'm confident but do it fast though

  • 2:00:36

do it fast people people feel better yep cool but people feel better at the plate

  • 2:00:42

when the plate is full true true yeah they swing that back with a little

  • 2:00:48

more um when they are taken care of you actually say it all the time you're my future i want to be stable i don't know

  • 2:00:53

where i'm going yeah everyone wants something not just sports stability yeah

  • 2:00:59

yeah well you go try that at your job they'll tell your mental health to [ __ ] off yeah true you're my job

  • 2:01:04

you're gonna perform or not in sports um the swing is a little

  • 2:01:10

i'm not happy i'm not the happiest camper today

  • 2:12:22

away yeah black star album coming true let's talk about some real through

  • 2:12:27

luminary which i think is kind of interesting let's say may 3rd uh 24th oh may 24th

  • 2:12:35

first album in 24 years you get ready you're correct i had the numbers okay

  • 2:12:41

coming through luminary which is their uh podcasting platform okay

  • 2:12:48

i'm gonna have that album in my phone the music app black star most dev talib i'ma let y'all

  • 2:12:54

know i'm not getting it through your podcast app but i will have that album and i will be listening to it because i am a fan

  • 2:13:02

yo tell her just put your uh cash app in in the comments and i'll just shoot you the bread yeah i mean

  • 2:13:08

i would i'm not even doing that after you boo like it's not bootleg no balling paying directly

  • 2:13:13

yeah straight to consumer direct that's it gotcha [ __ ] the middleman

  • 2:13:20

got you are we excited about this i'm excited about the albums mad lib produce it's been done for a while i think they

  • 2:13:26

played it for a million people everyone says it's great about how long it's been a couple years they've been

  • 2:13:32

talking oh okay see i thought this was something new fox shut up why because that's what they always do what

  • 2:13:38

you mean everyone's been talking about everyone says i know people personally that i trust their musical opinion you did this with the bus the wrong time i'm

  • 2:13:44

not doing it okay that bus i won back i like that what's up ele2

  • 2:13:51

that wasn't bad that's a good album who said it was bad i'm gonna stop having y'all do that who

  • 2:13:57

said it was bad my statement is about the greatness that they said i didn't who said it was bad okay y'all gonna

  • 2:14:02

stop doing that to me they do it to me too so i understand exactly what you mean you never said that yeah we only talk

  • 2:14:08

about the greatness of it uh if i hear it it'll be because i sent it to me i'm not going to luminary to

  • 2:14:14

hear it but i do uh champion different ways of releasing music yeah especially if you already have a deal here mm-hmm

  • 2:14:21

that is smart you're mad at it try some [ __ ] experiment be creative i like it i like it shout out to black

  • 2:14:27

star and it's got to be exciting for black star fans oh yeah yeah it's got to be beautiful

  • 2:14:32

wait there's some new stuff music it's been 15 years or something since he put something up yeah

  • 2:14:38

yeah it's true and he's one of those ones that and man bad lip albums are pretty

  • 2:14:43

solid historically you know what i mean like he most is one of the ones that you can't lose it

  • 2:14:48

yeah facts so i'm looking forward to hearing yourself me too do y'all want to talk about the white

  • 2:14:54

girl that murdered her black boyfriend um and then released the only fans video

  • 2:14:59

allegedly and now there's footage popping up of her covered in blood and then they pulled up the uh old tweets of

  • 2:15:06

the black boyfriend where he was kind of hating that kind of he was hating on black women saying that he don't date

  • 2:15:12

him and just how they are lower class

  • 2:15:18

but he didn't say that but he had a lot of tweets i'm getting with a white girl my dream girls white girl [ __ ] these black girls

  • 2:15:24

that's what was the premise of the tweets uh and then when those tweets were

  • 2:15:30

resurfaced a lot of people had a lot less compassion for

  • 2:15:35

his brutal murder and i didn't know how to feel about that because i'm a human i said it last part

  • 2:15:43

if there's death i feel tweets though death you know what i'm saying like i don't

  • 2:15:49

want to wish death on someone because i disagree with their life stamps

  • 2:15:55

you say differentiation certainly doesn't tweets personal death on anybody but

  • 2:16:02

life has a twisted sense of irony so if you are sitting around championing

  • 2:16:09

and dissing black women um in favor of white women you can have

  • 2:16:16

your preference don't mean you got [ __ ] on nobody else i agree with your statement so now that you are sitting

  • 2:16:22

around if he did that because i never read the tweets he did that but if he did that

  • 2:16:27

and he and that it's just it's just it's iron it's ironic that your white queen pokes you up

  • 2:16:35

in his sleep oh you sleep i didn't know he was sleeping

  • 2:16:42

from what we know yeah but don't know what's even crazier and we're going to start talking about irony i didn't even

  • 2:16:47

know they had pictures of her bloody until today but she didn't get arrested she didn't get charged she didn't get nothing what

  • 2:16:54

nothing came to the house yeah he did no no handcuffing her nothing that's crazy

  • 2:17:01

new videos showing the bloody aftermath of a domestic disturbance in miami which ended with one man being stabbed to

  • 2:17:06

death and a woman covered in blood in the footage obtained by tmz nobody ever stops to say how tmz got such important

  • 2:17:13

how that is amazing you see the woman in sweatpants and a bra handcuffed and soaked in blood as she sits on the floor of a luxury apartment talking to police

  • 2:17:21

alex do you want to scroll you want to just thanks cops responded sunday to a call about

  • 2:17:26

domestic violence when they got there they said they found a 27 year old man with an apparent knife wound who was rushed to a hospital where he was

  • 2:17:32

pronounced dead uh police say the man i won't pronounce his name uh and the

  • 2:17:38

woman in the video were involved in a physical confrontation that turned deadly i'm looking for what the cops

  • 2:17:44

what happened when they arrested her cops are not released my story the last

  • 2:17:49

story i heard this was yesterday she never got arrested but they put some type of claws on her

  • 2:17:56

they put a claw don't hurt her don't flea type of thing nada don't flee they categorized her as

  • 2:18:04

something that personally provides her with a different treatment than that of

  • 2:18:09

    a usual murder suspect i didn't i didn't hear that part

  • 2:18:16

this is just nuts regardless it's not placed on a psychiatric hold

  • 2:18:21

due to how they labeled her whatever this label is that i'm not remembering as for why courtney wasn't arrested

  • 2:18:27

we're told that she was taken to the police department in question and reportedly threatened to kill herself

  • 2:18:32

and the police department placed her on a psychiatric hold okay so arrest her ass and still take

  • 2:18:37

her to the hospital i'll rest her ass and take her to the psychiatric ward in the jail i don't want to see white women

  • 2:18:44

killing their black boyfriends and i also don't want to see black women

  • 2:18:49

championing the death of a black man can i not want to see either of those absolutely correct because i don't

  • 2:18:54

absolutely i don't want to champion the death of anybody that's not funny

  • 2:19:00

or it's not cool it's not funny and i know the internet don't care the internet just be saying [ __ ] in passing

  • 2:19:06

but people have families mothers fathers brothers kids

  • 2:19:12

i wouldn't even want to see a stranger speak about my loved one that way even if you have a problem with him

  • 2:19:18

and how he chose to live his life you mean you want to have some type of respect for the family i would

  • 2:19:24

think but nobody thinks about those things when we're just typing things on the internet no no not at all nobody

  • 2:19:29

cares about any type of feelings look at julia fox chiming right in it sounds like self-defense thanks julia

  • 2:19:36

thanks a lot wait that's exactly where that sound come from gotta be careful gotta be careful who you give a microphone to

  • 2:19:43

that's sure i'll keep telling y'all we have heard entirely too much from julia fox you need to shut the [ __ ] up i've

  • 2:19:48

never heard this much from her before i heard of her yeah i watched that absolutely i don't

  • 2:19:53

know what i ain't know that was her who the adam sandler movie what movie is that the one i didn't like

  • 2:19:59

huh uncut gems uncut gems yeah

  • 2:20:05

i i i just i'm not a fan of the i know y'all just said it but just the way it's

  • 2:20:11

oh this is what he said oh well then all right cool good for him then i just don't like that part yeah you

  • 2:20:16

know what my problem with cancel culture is like why haven't they found the dark web

  • 2:20:22

yet like it seemed like that's where their powers would be put to real good use it

  • 2:20:27

seemed like they on the regular internet watching just looking to pick up [ __ ] and cancel people like if they just put

  • 2:20:33

their energy together and find the dark web i feel like they'll have a lot of cases to unpack

  • 2:20:39

cancel them there human trafficking rapists selling body parts brains

  • 2:20:45

it's not being seen about to say there's no attention in that no attention there baker acted is the term

  • 2:20:51

and the baker act is a florida law that enables families and loved ones to

  • 2:20:56

provide emergency mental health services and temporary detention for people who are impaired because of their mental

  • 2:21:03

illness and who are unable to determine their needs for treatment the act was named after maxine baker

  • 2:21:09

former miami state representative who sponsored the act in 1972. people who require the use of the baker act have

  • 2:21:15

often lost the power of self-control and they are likely to inflict harm to themselves or others i'm not reading the

  • 2:21:20

rest of this this young lady should have been baker active no this is the this is the the the foundation for the

  • 2:21:27

um temporary insanity play that's it right there they just they digging the foundation

  • 2:21:34

right now about the later brick that's what that is i could already i don't know

  • 2:21:43

and if they find a way for the stand your ground [ __ ] to work when do with sleep i'll be amazed that's the only thing well i have to prove he was asleep

  • 2:21:50

they said it was a domestic violence yes this is a physical they said it was a dispute already and altercation occurred so now if only she and he are in the

  • 2:21:58

house they can trayvon martin this case because nobody is there present to go against her word which leaves a

  • 2:22:04

reasonable doubt and my and she walks for the coroner and a few other people should be able to tell determine if he

  • 2:22:10

was sleeping up yes now i wonder if they'll get into whatever domestic dispute happened the

  • 2:22:16

night before and what it did to her mental state so it don't matter that he went to sleep she's free

  • 2:22:22

yeah unfortunately that's kind of what i see too

  • 2:22:27

they were involved in a physical confrontation that turned deadly free yep florida free

  • 2:22:34

all day and i'm not even making that racy i mean in florida no no it's florida

  • 2:22:40

that's what florida does i was gonna jump in and say i don't know why anybody would move to

  • 2:22:47

florida but i've said every month this year that i'm getting a place in florida

  • 2:22:52

for tax purposes and the other place that gives you some relief is texas texas

  • 2:22:58

look at that right something tells me it's not coinciding

  • 2:23:06

i'm just not smart enough to know why um

  • 2:23:11

i don't know either we can move on there's some reasoning in there yeah i don't know it should it might be i just don't i can't don't seem like

  • 2:23:18

coincidence that's all um uh what else uh we can talk about that

  • 2:23:24

girl uh getting cheated on on patreon uh y'all do part of show

  • 2:23:29

yeah oh yeah let's loved our last one it's been fun it has been and if we could pick somebody else

  • 2:23:34

would have fed it okay hello you good i don't know about mistakes yeah it's not a bad idea

  • 2:23:42

that's what i'd be wanting parks to do instead of trying to sabotage me so his seniority can take over all right let's see all right we got

  • 2:23:49

thomas and thomas says my son's mother whom i've been separated

  • 2:23:56

from for about seven years now got into a serious relationship and now she's switching up her energy towards me as if

  • 2:24:02

i did something wrong we've always maintained great communication a friendship a closeness

  • 2:24:07

that some people don't understand because our relationship ended in divorce but we always been good we have about a

  • 2:24:14

64 we have about 60 40 custody i pay for everything regarding my son and a lot

  • 2:24:20

that isn't for her but this new do comes around and now she's using terms like per our custody

  • 2:24:26

agreement and can we talk via text don't come to the door

  • 2:24:31

so question should i tell her to tell her man to grow up and press her about the unnecessary energy shift our system

  • 2:24:38

or should i just leave it alone and reciprocate this new energy

  • 2:24:44

option one for me option two for me yo

  • 2:24:50

they haven't been together for seven years so he's clearly saying yo she's moved on i've moved on and you're my [ __ ] and we

  • 2:24:57

mad cool and we mad fly and we raised in the sun when you [ __ ] up that dynamic number one

  • 2:25:03

that's gonna [ __ ] up our relationship and the odds are the kids gonna see it

  • 2:25:08

and it's gonna [ __ ] up their coolness like i know mad relationships the baby mother baby father come in get

  • 2:25:15

something to drink they borrow money from each other they tease each other i've dated a girl in college where she

  • 2:25:20

had two sets of parents basically you know i'm saying like her mother moved on her father moved on and everybody would

  • 2:25:26

be at the cookouts and all of that [ __ ] collectively i think that was dope like it [ __ ] me up when i first saw that

  • 2:25:32

um i think that the kid is the beneficiary of your mother's dope new relationship and the new [ __ ] is mad

  • 2:25:39

and secure that is all about the new [ __ ] if she wasn't doing that before 100 that's all about him and i think that's

  • 2:25:46

corny that you would take that stance i'm not [ __ ] your chick we mad fly we have a kid in common my [ __ ] grow the

  • 2:25:52

[ __ ] up ice i agree with everything you said i think that it's the

  • 2:25:58

baby mother's position to say that to him not yours i agree but sometimes you might need to know she might not even notice what she

  • 2:26:05

doing this guy i'm answering his question he texts back and said please tell me this is the jvp

  • 2:26:11

yo this brother needs us you know you lying i i'm dead ass

  • 2:26:17

what's your initial text say i'm just curious is this thomas and he yeah he was ready oh he is he's right look he's

  • 2:26:23

still typing i got clowns just call him bob yeah i'm gonna just call you my name this is his brother needs to get he

  • 2:26:29

needs some help yeah let's hit up uh a little team my [ __ ] t money yeah we can't call them victory

  • 2:26:36

hello yo thomas we here for you dawg

  • 2:26:42

damn even your happiness sounds fraudulent we got you king

  • 2:26:48

thomas this this is a trigger triggering question that you're asking

  • 2:26:53

uh how old are you i'm 35.

  • 2:26:58

yes you want to tell them what where you were going and then and then ice can pick up yeah thomas what's going on um

  • 2:27:05

yes i'll be dm you may you be responding all the time man i [ __ ] with you for that man i appreciate you you don't have a vagina oh he doesn't oh he does reply

  • 2:27:12

oh got it now you guys made it something wrong with this guy

  • 2:27:17

um yo i'm going with option one i think you need to sit down with your baby mother

  • 2:27:22

have a real conversation like yo our relationship for the last seven years has been a-okay

  • 2:27:28

you're gonna allow this new entity to come into our relationship and potentially [ __ ] it up for us and the

  • 2:27:34

kid yeah you know what i'm saying like i think your dude is insecure thomas i need you

  • 2:27:39

to tell the truth though whenever when the last time you hit that thing

  • 2:27:44

don't lie i'm being a thousand honest we separated in 2015 15. we messed around maybe like

  • 2:27:52

twice when is the last no he's on air you want him she's in a relationship what are you

  • 2:27:58

all doing no honestly we we haven't done anything we've been nothing but great friends we've been mad cool we've had we had an

  • 2:28:05

understanding that even though the relationship ended let's keep the love that we shared when

  • 2:28:10

creating this child together so that we can raise a child in the same way in the same manner as if we were

  • 2:28:15

still together that's amazing that's not the child suffering that is a blessing

  • 2:28:20

and we kept that going and with her her mind said she's like you know because we got

  • 2:28:26

married really young so once we got divorced she was like okay i wanna you know we divorced separate you know amicably

  • 2:28:31

but it was like she wanted to live young wild and free so she didn't really get into a relationship right away so like i

  • 2:28:37

explained to her is that you're experiencing things that i experienced already getting a new relationship serious relationship the person doesn't

  • 2:28:43

like how cool we are they put the little you know they'll put roadblocks up i don't like her i don't like the way they're doing this blah blah blah

  • 2:28:49

but now that she's going through it in this later stage we feel the effects of it now but why does why does she have to handle it the

  • 2:28:55

way you did because she's the one the main one champion the idea like hey if you get

  • 2:29:01

with a woman she needs to be mature enough to handle our relationship she needs to be mature enough to understand

  • 2:29:06

    that thomas

  • 2:29:20

why does it not matter you know because she should get back to me the same way because she's still that's a human thing she still don't have to subscribe to

  • 2:29:27

what she's telling you is the right thing and what she's like to happen it's different when you on the other side

  • 2:29:32

it's different co-parenting that's co-parenting i hate when you're on youtube but coming to understanding that we you're suggesting

  • 2:29:38

things that i'm suggesting things and we kind of understanding if you're championing an idea it should apply to

  • 2:29:44

you no don't always work like that yeah you champion the idea that you want to apply to you that don't mean i'm going to stay

  • 2:29:51

in that bowl humans put so much stock in words that don't mean that so here you are now unfortunately this is my opinion

  • 2:29:57

these brothers can share afterward the cult your co part in this

  • 2:30:02

is to work through this that's why i i know you're not going to want to hear that

  • 2:30:07

but who she is while she's with this partner may not be the same as who she is when

  • 2:30:13

she's with the next partner might not be who she is when she was with this other partner and it's your

  • 2:30:19

job as the dad to just work through all of it yep hey if the energy shifted guess what that's

  • 2:30:26

the new energy until it shifts again no no hell no not yes and though

  • 2:30:33

no because if you if you take that idea that means i have to sit back and let her switch up

  • 2:30:38

exactly and i gotta acclimate to every time you change whatever new [ __ ] no no i'm talking about i know

  • 2:30:44

    anybody

  • 2:30:50

if our child is used to seeing us walk up to each other and seeing a certain interaction but now it's not it's not on that they're going to pick up on that

  • 2:30:56

    energy thomas

  • 2:31:27

you pivoted you pivoted yeah that is what's going on he don't have to adjust to that because that means every single

  • 2:31:33

time any new [ __ ] that she meets thomas let me ask you another question how long has she been in this relationship

  • 2:31:39

uh i'm a guest just based off what i don't know he don't know is the answer he says he

  • 2:31:46

don't know he answered but he does not know he's got thomas hold up for a second

  • 2:31:51

he does not know he's guessing and earlier i'm just throwing this and you could talk earlier he said

  • 2:31:57

we divorced and she wasn't in no relationship i went through this he's experiencing a new her

  • 2:32:05

go ahead i'm i'm gonna address two things one yeah he's experiencing a new her

  • 2:32:12

you gave me a set of rules when the shoes were on my feet to follow these [ __ ]

  • 2:32:18

no you're crazy you [ __ ] just crazy like that bro and y'all be giving them the [ __ ] out

  • 2:32:26

what option do you have i got one tell you tell shorty i was about to call out her name pardon me tell her to tell her

  • 2:32:32

dude to grow the [ __ ] up for the betterment of our kids for the government of our child because

  • 2:32:38

so you are putting this man's needs before your kid hey fam guess what you are putting this man's needs in this

  • 2:32:44

man's insecurities before the betterment of your child you're better than i agree you better i know i know you agree but

  • 2:32:49

that's why you're sitting there feeling like that you better find a different route you better find a different approach it sounds like she's serious

  • 2:32:55

about them serious enough to make changes oh no no he dumps on her [ __ ] head and now she tell you

  • 2:33:01

come in and get some juice don't shut up listen

  • 2:33:12

they're putting ideas in your head that are [ __ ] how we've done things for seven [ __ ] years that's true he's alright

  • 2:33:28

thomas you talking to somebody who my kid was calling somebody else daddy against my will i've been through this

  • 2:33:34

90 million times it don't go like you're saying it just don't go like you saying

  • 2:33:40

disagree if you if you've built this foundation for seven years that's true and that's the difference to a straight foundation

  • 2:33:56

you know what happens is because i don't want to fight with you i'ma who's the easiest target who's the easiest to to

  • 2:34:01

remove the [ __ ] baby daddy i can come i don't want to listen to this relationship whatever because i'm

  • 2:34:06

invested in this right now but the baby daddy guess what we can i can [ __ ] that relationship over because thomas has always been consistent guess what even

  • 2:34:13

if the relationship ends i can always come back and switch up on him again he's right he's wrong he's right because

  • 2:34:18

she's treating her she is treating him like he is uh a disposable and so what he's saying

  • 2:34:25

is yo the second that she breaks up with this [ __ ] now you're gonna put your cool let's go play in the sandbox again

  • 2:34:31

so don't get the [ __ ] out of here so don't allow it to do that for the betterment of his kids

  • 2:34:36

you want your child to see if you're two co-parents getting along in a very very very ish is

  • 2:34:45

if she do flip that they break up and she try to cool [ __ ] again you keep to know per agreement

  • 2:34:50

fam what's your worst this is where we are now you're saying something in a literal and theoretical sense you're not going to be

  • 2:34:57

at odds with your baby mother to prove a [ __ ] point i'm not saying get back at her that is what you are saying oh it's

  • 2:35:03

not what i'm you're saying yo you picked this you picked violence so now you ain't wait homeboy no more i'm gonna keep it violent you're not gonna do

  • 2:35:10

witness to the that violence who's saying violence i have no idea what y'all talking about he agreeing i know that's the problem

  • 2:35:18

that's the problem i don't why do i got to switch up because you switch up when you we've made a

  • 2:35:23

and so now my son has to see a different version of me just trying to match your energy no why does your son have to cut

  • 2:35:28

it why does your son have the [ __ ] because his son is accustomed to the mother and the father

  • 2:35:35

getting along having a rapport guess what being cool he asked the question joe says why does

  • 2:35:41

this son have to switch up the son is accustomed for seven years no i said why does he have to switch up i

  • 2:35:47

wouldn't talk about the sunday the lighting is asking a question the lady is forcing him to change the way that they've done not forcing [ __ ]

  • 2:35:58

[Music] let me ask you a question real quick

  • 2:36:04

hold on you don't have a choice but to accept it but my thing is that's all i'm saying he

  • 2:36:09

asked what option should he pick and my option was i think you should tell your baby that wasn't an option yes it was

  • 2:36:16

that wasn't holla at the dude no he didn't say that no no

  • 2:36:27

one second i just want to ask a question how old was the child when y'all divorced

  • 2:36:32

    uh three two two

  • 2:36:49

my son is on autism spectrum right so we have a special dealing with each other that's going to surpass 18 years

  • 2:36:55

of dealing with each other so he picks up on our energy better than anybody on this planet he understands he

  • 2:37:01

understands the routine he understands the rapport he understands all that in a second you come flip this [ __ ] up his

  • 2:37:06

whole everything switches up so she's not she is selfish as hell for trying to switch up on us because it's a

  • 2:37:11

new entity in her life but what i'm saying is all that may be true the child adapted y'all split the child

  • 2:37:17

was used to both parents living in the household t i divorced and there was an adaptation it was true same energy what i'm saying

  • 2:37:25

to you thomas is that there will be plenty of instances where you think one

  • 2:37:30

thing and she she thinks another none of that can change how you show up

  • 2:37:36

to parent your son it can't you have to be the same amazing

  • 2:37:42

dad whether she got a boyfriend she loved got a boyfriend that she might not love hey she's playing the dayton field

  • 2:37:49

it's a few [ __ ] she like she's gonna go through different versions of herself and she should be allowed that space

  • 2:37:54

especially as someone that waited this amount of time dealing with a special needs child to get to her

  • 2:38:01

which is contradicting yourself you're conditioning yourself because a few pounds ago you said that we're all family and we should be able to sit down

  • 2:38:06

and have conversations with our family you don't know stop talking

  • 2:38:13

that joe you y'all that i should be able to come to my baby mom and have a conversation because we're family and that nigga's family too so guess what

  • 2:38:19

since we all family let me tell you about yourselves thomas i said that joe my argument right now is conducive to

  • 2:38:26

him being family i'm not saying to treat him away or get her to look at him away

  • 2:38:31

i'm saying this guy has a fixture he has a place now and you're feeling that you're feeling the effects of that i'm

  • 2:38:37

telling you like family you have to find a way around that i'm saying to change

  • 2:38:43

your approach i'm not going against what i said the guy is there now mm-hmm the guy's there okay thomas guess what i

  • 2:38:50

know when my baby mom just dating somebody she liking when she don't she don't have to say nothing to me what the [ __ ] are you did you not dealing with

  • 2:38:57

something that men don't go through the conversations get shorter maybe we don't go grab a bite to talk about maybe we

  • 2:39:03

talk more about the kid like it feels different you know and men have to deal with that what

  • 2:39:10

which option should he pick one or two that was his question

  • 2:39:16

i went with option number one you should have a conversation with your baby mother and tell her to chill the [ __ ]

  • 2:39:21

out and tell this insecure ass [ __ ] to man up put your [ __ ] corny feelings to the side and worry about my kid

  • 2:39:28

instead of worrying about if i'mma pop your chick that's option one that's option one that's issues option

  • 2:39:33

that i'm thinking joe agrees with option one i just think that you need to change your approach what approach he's asking

  • 2:39:40

what would you come to her and say yo tell that [ __ ] grow the [ __ ] up man up i'm the dad i'm here he [ __ ] up our

  • 2:39:45

group you can't do that he don't gotta say it with that much aggressiveness but if he was family and being treated as such then the new boyfriend of his

  • 2:39:52

family should have some empathy for the for the [ __ ] child's father and he's not family and you're not a fan

  • 2:39:58

i agree with this when he said that back in the old party like i don't that's not family because he can switch and change up at any moment so he can come in like

  • 2:40:03

    a family tonight switch up the whole [ __ ] and bounce that ain't family fam he don't owe you [ __ ] i don't think that

  • 2:40:09

nigga's family he don't owe you [ __ ] family the baby [ __ ] i mean the new dude no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no you're not family you know you're not family

  • 2:40:15

because when when i'm not around i'm pretty sure that you dabbing my son up i'm pretty sure you're hugging them but when i'm around you don't even touch

  • 2:40:20

them you don't even say bye to them that's awesome

  • 2:40:26

no that's an awkward situation what i'm saying is this what i'm saying is that dude don't owe you [ __ ]

  • 2:40:31

be clear he don't owe you a [ __ ] thing in my opinion who owes you something is your kid's

  • 2:40:37

mother correct your kid's mother owes you a certain level of respect and owes you a certain level of grace

  • 2:40:44

so if you and i had a conversation of a rapport before well i'm so loyal

  • 2:40:50

you think they owe you that joe you know we know your definition of owing somebody sometimes it's different

  • 2:40:55

than most they owe you because even if your child is in the best mood that's a mutual two businesses came together to create

  • 2:41:01

another business you owe me you owe me your partner business y'all can use that old word all you want it's plenty of

  • 2:41:07

baby moms running around and have zero respect for the dad i totally agree with that and vice versa and guess what the state says that they owe you a certain

  • 2:41:13

amount of money because you don't want to be out of it you can have the respect now the states the state backed that by saying the dad owes that much money

  • 2:41:19

like you know therapy you can you you get into a situation with somebody oh you got both oh what you guys are both

  • 2:41:25

planning what i'm saying is this the most important thing for you is is to be the best dad you're gonna have

  • 2:41:32

to navigate the circumstances you asked what our opinion was on how you should navigate it i gave you what my opinion

  • 2:41:38

was on how you should navigate the circuit and i agree with you i agree with you i think that i shouldn't have to just sit back and watch you switch up

  • 2:41:45

because if i do it that's a precedent yo you're saying you agree with it joe's saying the same thing but you coming in

  • 2:41:51

wrong you coming in with the you don't lay the groundwork but you don't lay the president

  • 2:41:56

you don't run nothing nothing you you need to humble yourself you have to humble yourself thomas make

  • 2:42:04

sure they're this if you give it to anybody he said he said this is the rules we're gonna

  • 2:42:09

play by so let me ask you this a nigga's word in

  • 2:42:16

the world don't matter they can change their word whenever they feel like it they're right and you got to acclimate to what the [ __ ] they said that's not

  • 2:42:22

gender so i say i'm gonna come here so i could say yo i'm i come here two days a week and i work for the joe

  • 2:42:28

button podcast and whenever the [ __ ] i feel like changing up i don't just gotta show up and you don't have the reason to build be mad about it then you could be

  • 2:42:35

mad you're losing me you can always get mad i know i am i know i am yo when your word says something your word means

  • 2:42:41

something if his baby moms laid down i know his baby mother and in theory and

  • 2:42:46

impracticality your words should mean something should but if they don't now what are you doing

  • 2:42:53

i'm saying he has to navigate and he asks us what's the best way for him to do it and it's not to hit her and say yo

  • 2:42:58

set that [ __ ] straight i'm laying the ground work and you're changing the dynamics arm me and i never who the [ __ ] are you all right cool you can't do that

  • 2:43:04

i'm just naked i'm the [ __ ] who complied to your requested the same thing this is how [ __ ] end up not seeing a kid i don't

  • 2:43:10

know this is how [ __ ] end up not seeing a kid you're right right there this is how it happens because then she'll say all right [ __ ]

  • 2:43:15

it you're right then they say yo hey you know what you caused an extra you're calling me direct

  • 2:43:21

you causing me stress you too many complaints about the hell i'm running [ __ ] over here you're doing it you're worried about over there yeah come on

  • 2:43:27

feet right and i'm not gonna take my kid away because yo good luck bro i'm not saying that

  • 2:43:33

you know and i'm not in my son's life so you can't fight that fight with me so that's why i'm coming to you as family and says hey i see something disrupting

  • 2:43:39

you it could be almost anything and if it's i don't care what it is i'ma still come at you the same way like yo what what is changing you up because at

  • 2:43:46

this time it may be a dude the next thing it could be a friend after that could be drugs no no no you know what could be it could be a dude a new [ __ ]

  • 2:43:52

every nine months and that would be on her as the ex you are divorced you have

  • 2:43:57

no say in how she lives her life all you got to do is continue to be dead

  • 2:44:03

    and you keep coming to her talking about [ __ ] that ain't bad [ __ ]

  • 2:44:08

nah i know i know it's a tough one it's a tough one that's the luck man thomas

  • 2:44:14

we praying for you we hope your situation gets better all the love in the world to your child

  • 2:44:21

and she's a salute to homeboy i know you don't think you're family but you gotta find a way to be amicable somehow mm-hmm

  • 2:44:27

you gotta deal with them all right one love thomas i appreciate you guys any time
