at home we are trained professionals who do not have your best interests at heart

  • 0:24

or our own now enjoy the show tell them what we're about to argue

  • 0:30

about you just gave Corey a recap come on let me walk the dog for you we're outside

  • 0:36

so we are as a team we're trying to make a conscious effort to curse less say the

  • 0:41

b word last the N word last as a collective all cursing yep right so Joel

  • 0:47

talks about how his cousin is riding with his wife and his mom and we just

  • 0:52

throwing f-bombs we just letting it go and it's embarrassing right so he says

  • 0:58

why be embarrassed no it is I'd be embarrassed I know we have an older demo we do and it don't really hit you till

  • 1:05

you be in the street is what I was explaining to these brothers like you be outside and somebody's Aunt great on

  • 1:11

great aunt yeah like somebody older come like yo my daughter put me on anybody should be playing in front of the room

  • 1:17

I'd be like oh word yikes or or like Thanksgiving I got a my aunt 94. so

  • 1:22

she's sitting at the table yo where can I listen to your show Auntie don't even worry about it you know you good don't

  • 1:27

worry about it y'all [ __ ] Jamaicans live she's not Jamaican that's the black side the chitlins

  • 1:36

no so so I'm like oh but they old anyway and they like they like y'all gray hairs

  • 1:43

I said so I said Joe you know you got gray hair too right no I wasn't saying I

  • 1:49

wasn't saying that uh they old and they like you over here I was saying whatever later yeah I want to be mindful of this

  • 1:55

now because like our pod is we attract that I said you dudes is all gray-haired

  • 2:01

in the face looking old and stupid in the face

  • 2:15

there's a time where everybody's privilege has to pop out and I got some privilege so you were saying so so I

  • 2:21

don't know you know you got gray hairs too right I'm gonna speed it up fool says yeah but mine don't count I'm a

  • 2:27

rapper no I used to rap I get a pass what that's rapper privilege facts I would like to hear the uh

  • 2:33

yo dog stop you got to get your Kardashian Shapiro

  • 2:39

Johnny cop what you woke him up I want to hear you defend this I don't

  • 2:45

make I need y'all to explain why I'm wrong maybe teach me what do you mean defend this so if he's a teacher he's an

  • 2:52

engineer but you're a rapper let me ask you this you could be great let me ask you this and this is what yes

  • 2:59

what are y'all missing what are y'all missing about they are certain exceptions that are made for people that

  • 3:07

have been famous or have notoriety for x amount of years

  • 3:12

this comes in here every other pod and says yo uh he highlights when those perks jump

  • 3:19

out for me versus him because I'm famous that's true so my thing is why do he think that that is not widespread or

  • 3:26

don't apply to great hearers a lot of people have this you know how certain songs give you a photo of photographic

  • 3:33

memory of where you were when you heard it yes yes that same thing applies somewhat for celebrityism I agree

  • 3:42

like Emmanuel Lewis is still Emmanuel Lewis in my head 30 years I don't know how old he is I don't know what he

  • 3:48

looked like today because it's just embedded in my head so that's what I mean when I say my grades hit different

  • 3:53

because I rapped because they caught me at every phase they caught me when I

  • 3:59

shaved Village it off they called me when I looked 19. I probably never looked 19. but they just I don't think

  • 4:05

their image that's uh cemented in their head of me is gray hair Joe now for you gentlemen

  • 4:13

y'all have just been discovered by mass by the masses

  • 4:19

their introduction is to the greatest to you that boy good is

  • 4:24

older mature wiser-ish with great they don't know you not many people have seen us arguing

  • 4:31

about rent in New York in 2008 on YouTube where your eyes was popping a

  • 4:37

little more out your face skin was looking a little more young vibrant so fresh and so clean ice was

  • 4:44

always just a Twitter handle they never really he never really put his face up there so this is people's

  • 4:50

entry oh stop it ice this is people's introduction so that's my only difference with that I closed my

  • 4:56

argument you think people still picture you with like chin strap and for the most part okay

  • 5:01

for the most part that's what you think for the most so let me ask you this do you think your rap career

  • 5:09

is what you're known more for by the masses than the pot I think they still call him a rapper they don't know

  • 5:16

the notoriety the what the worldwide notoriety much more from the Pod exactly

  • 5:22

which is ta-da you know [ __ ] gray is great yeah that's

  • 5:29

awesome we all growing older [ __ ] the gray is

  • 5:35

here I don't really see it that's it that's cool

  • 5:45

that you wasn't wearing before yeah not many see but even in that most people

  • 5:51

don't know how podcasters make money so when girls used to let me say used to

  • 5:57

or when girls see me that I can talk and explore that when girls see me today

  • 6:05

and come around maybe because I'm cute or funny I could spot the shock in them for me having like this type of stuff

  • 6:13

the car and just all it I see the shock what I would agree with that come on to

  • 6:20

that level no no no cause come on I know you hate to be on my side

  • 6:26

or something no the level of the I think they think

  • 6:32

that you're getting money but they don't think you're getting Maybach money don't think you're getting two and three thousand dollars shirt

  • 6:38

money they only Reserve that for the athletes even most rappers don't I mean we know

  • 6:44

but most rappers don't have money like that you get what I'm saying so you got on a three thousand dollar shirt they

  • 6:50

like oh damn or the bag oh he doing it like that oh I know it was that you get

  • 6:55

what I'm saying so I agree with them like I could see a BMW or Ben's money I don't know about Maybach money

  • 7:01

you know what I'm saying it's just a difference I would agree with you three thousand dollar glasses [ __ ] like that

  • 7:07

they're like oh that's a different type of bread so I would agree with that there

  • 7:13

all right all right we've successfully backed them up off you Joe you was in the corner they had you they had weapons

  • 7:21

not the sharp knives guns like we was back in foxes again

  • 7:27

[ __ ] tried to kill me in foxes all right uh how am I feeling how am I feeling how

  • 7:34

am I feeling oh now I got to tell you about yourself I

  • 7:41

tell you about yourself now I'm sorry stank get to that point in the argument where

  • 7:47

you got to tell your girl some hard truths that's a lot of hate yeah it is that's a lot of hate

  • 7:54

uh definitely sometimes come on your hips

  • 8:00

on your heads I don't got to do that you've never never I hate when you do

  • 8:05

that never hate it yeah I'm done I'm done with it I'm done with you today

  • 8:10

you know it's just never done very normal man things Joe I was raised by different types of

  • 8:17

[ __ ] a lot of different types of [ __ ] so it shocks me that you resort to some of

  • 8:24

these things but what I'm saying don't really have a whole lot to do with upbringing I guess

  • 8:29

because we come from some of the same places okay but when you intro women into the

  • 8:35

equation and emotions as a man you learn some things about yourself that's what I'm talking about

  • 8:41

in fact so I agree with that yes I've had an image of how I would act when my

  • 8:48

partner left with the guy with more money how that happened how it played out

  • 8:54

I mean it didn't match the image that I had about it that's all I'm saying never happened and in hindsight I was saying

  • 9:02

yes I believe you I was Aiden I called you about it [ __ ] now you called him too oh yeah

  • 9:11

it's cool bro [Music] Life's A different kind of hate right

  • 9:17

now but that's why I don't like doing pause with people to know me like because some things shouldn't make it to

  • 9:22

a pot I'm ashamed of that you should be I'm ashamed of that but I think that yeah you get a pass though I think that

  • 9:29

you need that yeah no you get a pass because I'll fight you today I'll fight one of y'all this is my opinion yo when

  • 9:36

you're in love the rules don't apply that's when that's when you get your head off I never just I've been

  • 9:42

heartbroken but I've never like lost my girl to the [ __ ] that was had more bread whatever you lost her too I just

  • 9:48

lost my girl because I was doing dumb [ __ ] yo you never you never know and I'm gonna trigger some people out there you

  • 9:54

never know how big of a goof your girl is until y'all break up for a couple weeks yeah you don't even know how to

  • 10:00

break it yeah y'all know how to do it right yeah don't get goofy off the rip or how goofy you'll be until you be

  • 10:07

heartbroken so now I look like I'm hating but I really love your goofy ass trying to protect you from that book man

  • 10:14

trying to protect her is hate yeah you gotta let her do it yeah but because

  • 10:20

they'd be lying they'd be lying to us they'd be lying to themselves why was I calling that man

  • 10:26

he picked up and spoke to me too we used to kick it a little bit we used to kick it a little bit yo I can

  • 10:34

see how you got her the guy he's intelligent yes the smart guy sounds like I'm talking to you he's a smart guy

  • 10:42

you smoke out we broke down with that we broke it down we unpacked that thing oh he was a rat though

  • 10:48

damn he was he was a rat that's how he bagged it like on some snitchy [ __ ]

  • 10:54

um let's see I don't respect that yeah that's corny

  • 11:12

yo my whole career [ __ ] were snitching men

  • 11:17

[ __ ] was hating yeah that's that's because they was like I got more of this than him I got more than that that's

  • 11:22

your man you hang around some rats why at the distance myself I hang around

  • 11:28

here that's why I had to distance myself that's what you did now you got the hanging you got the hanging it was a

  • 11:33

wild crowd for a couple years that's it Feb you you I don't do that

  • 11:39

listen we got bigger fish to fry we do but oh let me hit drops yeah I didn't intro this thing I didn't do anything

  • 11:44

because I love you guys how does this [ __ ] start [Music]

  • 11:52

    [Laughter] Ed [Music]

  • 11:59

    um all right 482 582 5 yes 482 so it's dark

  • 12:09

times that's what these grades came from 482 and 400 yeah oh my God the later

  • 12:15

fourth I'll be laughing at y'all welcome episode 99 here you just wait you just

  • 12:22

keep it up speed bump coming yeah uh welcome to episode 582 yeah 582 the Joe

  • 12:28

Budden podcast I'm your host Joe Budden uh and [ __ ] is here uh it's just here I see Corey's here Parks here Erickson

  • 12:36

is here our our remote people are here [ __ ] is here shots again oh man

  • 12:43

and everyone here is important trust me I know that around tax time

  • 12:49

tell me why or not everyone here is needed and important to

  • 12:58

the functioning of this Operation God Jesus come on what you going through

  • 13:04

talk to me nothing Parks come on tell us for those that

  • 13:10

don't know Parks went to his high his wife's high school that's right he was her plus one I was we unpacked that on a

  • 13:18

later patreon episode we did and that's why I was dressed up last week yeah that's why Parks was dressed up around

  • 13:24

my evil twin ah they was on you fam you should have came in here you might never have to do that a little more often some

  • 13:29

of the Patronis tried to hate and they said that we was hating and we're not really friends because he ain't look right in the boots and the tux y'all

  • 13:35

[ __ ] just don't have sauce he actually liked it yeah I like things

  • 13:40

with character yeah yeah that looked like him it did yeah yeah but now I need

  • 13:45

to we need Deets okay it was uh it was it was exactly as I

  • 13:51

thought it would be I was awkwardly sitting in the corner most of the time I was surprised by the demographics why

  • 13:58

she went to a Christian School I didn't really factor that in but there was like a lot of different groups of people there which led to a

  • 14:05

fairly segregated party for the most part until everyone got drunk and then it turned the [ __ ] up uh but it was

  • 14:10

pretty fun man I mean the DJ was a little blend happy that can throw off my vibe a little bit

  • 14:16

listen to this guy you know bad experience this week too I had a bad

  • 14:22

experience too but get your shoes like he put like in the club over candy shop bro you're doing too much you're doing

  • 14:28

too much like that those are damn near the same song like emotionally in a club Vibe you don't have to blend them it's

  • 14:33

cool yeah but it was Jersey [ __ ] I know that's y'all [ __ ] over here like everything went into the Jersey house

  • 14:39

beat at some point you know what I'm saying about watch your mouth yeah

  • 14:45

    oh [ __ ] don't say it okay like that well when I'm in Jersey I expect that [ __ ] to

  • 14:50

    a degree but why I gotta be that [ __ ] though yeah I don't like it because that's that [ __ ] though boy yeah I mean you're good

  • 14:58

you're good so on a scale of one to ten if you had to rate your wife's

  • 15:03

job of ingratiating you to oh she did great she was mad at me

  • 15:09

though because I didn't want to be ingratiated that much I was perfectly fine sitting in the corner texting my dad like I know I know she brought you

  • 15:17

there to start my [ __ ] I know but I was tired over there we worked all day you want your husband to look you don't want to wall up in your face my husband over

  • 15:23

there chilling nah because one of y'all act up in here no it depends on what she wants yeah you

  • 15:30

know what I'm saying like if she wants you to be chilled and you'll be chilling she wants you to be a lot of time to do that but then the party went on there

  • 15:35

was an after party thing and I turned up a little bit more had a little more fun so well no the the music really like

  • 15:41

people neglect how much the music can impact your time absolutely if you are

  • 15:47

not feeling the vibe it subconsciously will have you sitting in a corner texting on your phone throw everything

  • 15:52

off yeah yeah the DJ downstairs was turning up he was playing that [ __ ] so down there I was having a little more fun I'm running around talking to

  • 15:58

everybody a little more that's why I can't do the white strip clubs it'd be the music

  • 16:04

that was that why yeah that he you come on buddy

  • 16:16

sometimes you just don't realize it's a door we get it yeah it's stupid I go in

  • 16:22

the strip club Friday night Friday night is Friday night because Saturday they

  • 16:29

might play some [ __ ] Nelly Furtado or some Spanish [ __ ] it might get more Spanish music on

  • 16:35

Saturday night so you go on Friday night Friday night walk in and they playing songs that

  • 16:44

they've never played before on a Friday night and midnight gonna get out my life

  • 16:51

I've been helping me just it's not the scene for whatever they're doing I think there was a whole this is a strip club

  • 16:57

yes one that I frequent is it with the gangsters and the gang members yo was it

  • 17:03

was it the normal DJ or was it somebody else well that matters 20 to Thursday so

  • 17:08

it could have been 35 minutes into my night as I'm questioning the DJ and the hype man now there's someone on the mic

  • 17:15

that's trying to Hype these bad song selections the bartender

  • 17:20

pulls me close and says oh can you believe the DJ

  • 17:27

I said what do you mean that's not our regular DJ I said tell me more said yeah there's been an issue with the

  • 17:33

regular DJ so at the last minute they had to bring in a guy from Connecticut I said

  • 17:38

well the guy from Connecticut saw him and the hype man are from Connecticut

  • 17:44

Friday night in the Bronx where the gangsters and the gang members are and

  • 17:50

10 minutes after me and her at that conversation guess what came on you you guessed it oh

  • 17:59

and that was my first time seeing that come on in a place where

  • 18:07

some people will object to this and I was one of them but there were a

  • 18:12

couple of a mob of people rushed the DJ booth

  • 18:17

it almost got bad is what I'm saying to you I was I was amazed at how everybody

  • 18:23

acted just in unison when this record came on he's gonna play that there important to know your surroundings when

  • 18:29

you're running around playing these records right that's true many a DJ have gotten beaten up for playing the wrong

  • 18:34

record at the wrong spot yeah very Vital Information for you guys out there and we don't condone that

  • 18:40

we don't condone that I'm gonna happen I'm about safety and peace like NBA young boy is I like that I like all that

  • 18:47

safety and peace from people that are yeah yeah I like that um well who knows the parks yeah it was

  • 18:54

fun let's glue those to parks for his uh we made the most of it all right she went to school in Paterson right

  • 19:00

yeah yeah I'm definitely not going to my Christian High School reunion so he left

  • 19:06

that part out before I don't know man uh I don't know but

  • 19:11

yeah I don't know if the Bitties is gonna be over there

  • 19:17

you just don't know never seen um Benedictine Academy boys in the hood yes [ __ ] said

  • 19:24

the Catholic school girls is the biggest hoochies

  • 19:30

New Jersey Catholic schools yes it was up up upstairs

  • 19:37

that's what you wanted whoa bus stop they had the skirt rolled up all all the

  • 19:43

way yeah any girl that ever went to St Mary's is yeah you wanted them [Music]

  • 19:49

that was the one in Jersey City St Mary's mother Seton Benedictine but we just looked at them we just called them

  • 19:55

going to schools with the uniforms I know they was uniforms Mary saying one of them right

  • 20:01

they just made you wear uniform Maris wasn't

  • 20:06

marriage cousin used to go down I don't know oh man Maris in the Hall of Fame buddy

  • 20:12

especially if you hoop because they had the skirts that we about to say I'm nasty now

  • 20:18

no they had they had uh uniforms and colors that was uh representative of the

  • 20:25

year you went so you could spot with a freshman freshman y'all couldn't wear the blue

  • 20:30

joints ugly that was nice so you knew a boy this was many years I can't do math but

  • 20:38

a long time ago you know where to shoot Mary's ask about me in Memphis

  • 20:47

the Jersey up there I was gonna say and rest in peace to my

  • 20:53

uh my marriage guy Keith McMurray he died in our childhood that's my man uh I was gonna save this for later but since

  • 21:00

you walking me right into it with my marriage Jersey being in the Hall of Fame thing so this is the bad part about

  • 21:06

doing so many drugs and pills throughout life your memory can get a little foggy

  • 21:12

so their bits and pieces of life that I remember and I don't remember

  • 21:18

but I bumped into a I bumped into an interview from a gentleman named Kurt Smalls

  • 21:26

I know y'all don't know who that is but I went to high school with curse marks

  • 21:31

Kurt Smalls was the star basketball player that [ __ ] was not he was a different type of nice you couldn't tell

  • 21:38

me he wasn't interested in peace coach uh Gil Reynolds rest in peace coach Gill not too much on Gil but anyway so I bump

  • 21:45

into his interview and he starts talking about me

  • 21:52

I think I could set a pick yo was that the dude that was in your class that sat a couple seats or

  • 21:58

something no this is in high school okay see now Parks Parks made me mad

  • 22:04

you're I played basketball with you you set a good pick can I play it for you those are here

  • 22:09

this guy pure Hustle but you're at Laurinburg with one of

  • 22:15

hip-hop's most recognizable Personalities in Joe button right yeah

  • 22:21

Kurt was right like top 50 in the country like he was that interview and I'm reading it I had to kick back twice

  • 22:29

and I'm like Joe Budden played for Lauren Burke first of all I didn't even know Jeff button

  • 22:35

played ball yeah yeah Joey man that that was my guy on he he didn't play that much but

  • 22:43

um you know he was very athletic um I think he was at the school for disciplinary reasons

  • 22:49

um because you know Laurinburg was a place that if you if you did if you did some things like the judge will order

  • 22:55

you to you know go there and finish up so Joe um was there with us um clink like we we clicked up right

  • 23:02

away you know he from Jersey so the New York guys we stuck together so um really athletic like um here we go

  • 23:10

his skill level wasn't on where we was at but he was good enough to make the 10

  • 23:15

for 11 spot and um he got one of the best games of his life against Oak Hill

  • 23:21

Academy a triple double in that game

  • 23:40

I got you buddy I kind of expected that reaction from you

  • 23:48

    oh man [Music]

  • 23:54

[Laughter] my check one two one two one oh man

  • 24:27

yeah yo do I have anybody who will support me with something good they let me get ten

  • 24:34

thousand I'm gonna leave them in the game man let them get ten thousand damn you about mellow's age too that might have been against mellow

  • 24:51

Joe you are five nine I'm not five I don't think I'm gonna stop bringing

  • 24:56

    good news to y'all

  • 25:03

yeah I'm going to find it I can't just like Wilt game right yeah my man said he had

  • 25:09

    50. see my man said he had 50. no that's why I had to triple double yeah he's feeding him pause cause I'mma

  • 25:16

always get rebounds and I could score a couple layups but when I tell you that this man killed Oak Hill I'm talking

  • 25:24

about from anywhere this before step we saw Steph Curry so this was unbelievable to see he didn't play I used to just try

  • 25:30

to play him one-on-one in the gym 11-1 hacking twelve one get off me getting better he was he was NBA College

  • 25:38

he was College ready what's his name Chris Smalls all right

  • 25:43

no he's he was he was him all right but that's the I would never get a triple double if somebody's not scoring like

  • 25:49

that anybody who passed it to but listen Park's eyes probably can't get a day and

  • 25:54

make their high school basketball team yeah I mean I skipped them Trails I made

  • 25:59

the team when the athletes was there I wasn't even here for that I went to work I wasn't even here for that I'm here for duffing [ __ ] out with some [ __ ] I'm

  • 26:06

not I wasn't here for that I'm here cause I was a menace you're the enforcer no no not at all these are people that

  • 26:13

[ __ ] that school was prep schools be nice that'd be nice nice Gill Reynolds Bernard King went there like they

  • 26:20

sending people to to scholarship time these people take this for real ain't got time for my little [ __ ] I tried

  • 26:26

to foul a couple of them big six eleven [ __ ] when I had beef with one of them he was like oh my God why am I on this

  • 26:32

team it was a five nine Oakley yo and me and you can fight

  • 26:41

good are you all right anyway

  • 26:48

so that's all y'all have to say about my triple double on Oak Hill holy [ __ ] I

  • 26:53

just want to see this yeah I just want to see this game what do I have to bring bring it to

  • 27:00

the table I mean we heard it happens a box score oh man

  • 27:07

my last question for y'all is that hate yeah no

  • 27:12

yeah I mean ice is this hate for me it's

  • 27:17

curiosity it's hate for me for sure okay I'm hating is this hate let's hate okay that's it all right bro yeah the

  • 27:24

basketball legend bigging up his his uh 10th man I forgot all about that you

  • 27:30

gotta look out for your man's like how much stock I put on that

  • 27:36

    [Music]

  • 27:42

all right so come on let's come on let's let's get in the potting that is hilarious let's get in the pardon who's

  • 27:47

who's leading who's leading the break somebody lead a break I grabbed the Board Outlet pass immediately

  • 27:52

I'm not trying to bring the ball up Outlet pass I said Outlet the goal is to score here is anybody running is anybody

  • 27:59

running towards the other hoop what's my man name it's hard to get it I can never get a triple double with you

  • 28:06

Kirk Smalls yo yo yo watch your mouth I wasn't disrespecting all right flirt it's cool yo you can't do that you can't

  • 28:13

just make up names for people all right Outlet pass all right we want to start with the

  • 28:19

heavy news of course yeah of course so um

  • 28:24

    we lost a friend um

  • 28:29

sometimes bad news comes too close to your door yeah it comes too close to your doorstep this [ __ ] happens every

  • 28:36

single day but sometimes the mail is addressed to your circle yeah and man

  • 28:41

see let's I'm sorry guys because you was talking no no that's cool it's cool when ice called me

  • 28:47

was that Saturday morning early Saturday morning part it just dropped right

  • 28:53

I don't talk to ice at that time that's my point so that already looked funny on the

  • 28:59

phone so you pick up now ice sounding on ice like

  • 29:04

and he gave me the horrible news that Jose has passed rest in peace the whole vein ho we love you or you know it

  • 29:13

uh this is Friday morning I'm not reading anything but I think

  • 29:19

they said somewhere around 2 A.M it don't matter he had a heart attack and we lost somebody extremely close to

  • 29:25

each of us go ahead um did they put down did they put the cars out yeah yeah okay I was trying to

  • 29:32

make sure everybody wasn't okay yeah but I mean toxicology is not bad but they said he had a heart attack okay

  • 29:38

and that was the weekend for me

  • 29:45

yeah my Saturday I was [ __ ] okay like I got the call actually I got it Friday but

  • 29:52

    I just sat there like I'm I still haven't processed yeah I still haven't

  • 29:59

fully processed like I keep looking at the phone expecting bro to hit me like we speak every you know we had

  • 30:06

professional business but this is a friend of mine for over 15 years um

  • 30:12

important to so many up-and-coming artists established

  • 30:18

established artists but the fun part of that was we got to watch him in real time work his way up to where he was yes

  • 30:25

so you start with Troy Ave you end with Lloyd Banks

  • 30:31

he worked cams last year um he was active extremely he was

  • 30:37

extremely active uh extremely supportive too yeah definitely yeah definitely like

  • 30:43

mad above above and beyond like supportive isn't even a good enough word yeah that's true everything that I ever

  • 30:49

did he was always right there supporting me wrote me on and we did not have a professional relationship that's who he

  • 30:55

was and that was the story and that's the story of hovan yeah you didn't have to be making like in business with him

  • 31:01

you could just hit him with some with a question he's right there he's right there he would hit you before you had

  • 31:06

the question that's true like you didn't even have to be like yo hoe I need your help with this he would just see I see

  • 31:13

what you're doing you know what I mean like every page Tree on [ __ ] hit my phone yo you smoked it yo you did this

  • 31:18

or you did that just yeah just support on a different level it was just a different level and uh

  • 31:25

sending me bottles of champagne every time I dropped the project like and he was a person that

  • 31:31

a lot of time people be afraid to like introduce you to like or to plug you with their people facts they'll they'll

  • 31:37

keep that that's right because they want to make money off of that like yeah I'll I'll middleman it but I need yeah covet

  • 31:43

was never like that never if he's if you needed something and he knew somebody that could get it done yo let me put you

  • 31:49

on a line with this person right here he'll just he'll just text message you with everybody all the parties involved

  • 31:54

when I got married last year we needed hair and makeup and he plugged us with his wife it didn't end up working out

  • 32:00

shout out to Kim we love you this is little [ __ ] like that like that

  • 32:05

has nothing to do with nothing you know what I'm saying like that's true like it's not there's so many people it's not

  • 32:10

like that today in this industry [ __ ] you don't find many just genuinely good

  • 32:16

people like one I spent all Saturday just talking to different people we were just having like our

  • 32:22

whole vein stories no no we've been on the phone y'all remember this this just I'm bugging out I remember he had me in

  • 32:29

Brownsville Brooklyn at 3 30 in the morning

  • 32:38

yeah no no chains out but um you just don't get

  • 32:45

like like there's no smut on his name zero that's rare just a dream man it's just a

  • 32:52

good dude and the sad part is how young he was like I thought he was our age you

  • 32:57

know what I'm saying he's 34 years old though oh wow I didn't know he was that young either I didn't know he was that young I thought he was my age

  • 33:04

like that I didn't know he was that young until the news broke that's crazy dog and so even when I was talking to

  • 33:10

Corey like the thing when you you when you lose these young

  • 33:15

great people like Colvin could have been Lucian you

  • 33:20

know what I mean like he could have been on a beat Craig or Julie that level in

  • 33:25

his business you know it could have been no I'm just saying 34 dog imagine where he was at 55.

  • 33:31

imagine where he would have been at 50. I say that about all our young people

  • 33:36

and I say it all the time but yeah like dogs that's what we were watching like we saw it it was crazy bro like his

  • 33:42

relationship Equity that he had and just the knowledge of this particular business that is so hard to learn and

  • 33:48

grasp yeah he was on his way and that's what you know what I'm saying and willing to share it that's it he's

  • 33:54

teaching courses he's he's doing a he's active online you know he just got um he

  • 33:59

just won an award two weeks ago a week or two ago for something like it just was crazy y'all like just featured in

  • 34:06

billboard cover or something like that all that [ __ ] yeah so shout out to his

  • 34:12

wife shout out to his children his family the people that he worked with

  • 34:17

his loved ones their loved ones that was just and and his fans the people that

  • 34:22

were just a fan of who he was uh couldn't happen to a better person

  • 34:29

and that's what stopped some of my crime I I caught myself I was crying because it just comes out of you

  • 34:36

and then I'm going down memory lane in my hovane mental Rolodex

  • 34:41

and that just started laughing and wiping the tears because it's like all I remember is like great stories of

  • 34:48

hovane for me or even when I tried to get it spicy like damn you down you you down with them [ __ ] you cool with them

  • 34:55

[ __ ] I ain't cool with over there but then you gotta process and be like Well everybody's cooling homemade you can't

  • 35:02

be mad at somebody that knows how to play neutral be cool but you'll be cool over here Jose would pop up

  • 35:09

just in the places you'd least expect to see hovane because he was there in support of always

  • 35:16

yeah I'm here supporting Wale I'm here supporting like God damn when do you rest

  • 35:23

so when I learned he was even uh married I was like God damn you move around like

  • 35:28

so many rare that you find people that are passionate about managing others word

  • 35:34

yeah usually they're trying to use that as a springboard in a weird sneaky kind of

  • 35:40

    way or

  • 35:46

a lot of managers want to be Stars themselves and he was a star by himself without trying to be a star like or if

  • 35:54

you're a star manager you've just got this roster of clients that this is just what you do you're making a lot of money

  • 35:59

and you don't pay attention to a lot of them too like there's that part whole Bane was Hands-On passionate about

  • 36:06

    managing and helping and bettering others it's a skill it's a that's a

  • 36:11

dying skill set and one that should be appreciated right but he kicked my ass half the time like yo you we need to do

  • 36:18

this no we doing this now yo this like and I'm looking at it like I know on the list of artists or people

  • 36:24

that he's managing at the bottom I'm down here somewhere right yet every two days

  • 36:30

sometimes that yo man yo yo yo dude yo go do that you know I got the deal

  • 36:38

over here for you with this let's go get this like um you ain't post nothing in six months man

  • 36:45

all right I got you yo no that was sad and I just spoke to him when he was at

  • 36:52

this is he was that there's a shout out to dizza when I did his part

  • 36:57

uh one of the things that that gave me Comfort was and this is why I'd be so adamant

  • 37:04

about having a trusted Circle and and people that you trust in times where you need

  • 37:13

additional thinking right I always tell a story about uh when my granddad was dying going to get the coffin and I

  • 37:20

didn't want to go but my mom said you should probably go right Lloyd Banks release album release dinner

  • 37:28

was another one of those moments for me where I'm not going to go to this not because

  • 37:33

I don't respect Lloyd Banks that's my man 100 Grand nothing but none but love for him but this is a private

  • 37:39

family he got his kids with him you know you want to give people their space

  • 37:46

but I went because jovane said we want you to come

  • 37:51

um and I just trusted him enough to say all right well if y'all want me

  • 37:57

to come then I'ma come Elliot was there and like I said it was a beautiful beautiful event and I was there a little early

  • 38:04

so it's me and hovane at the bar and of course we're just cracking on each other's clothes you're getting money out

  • 38:10

all of that flying flying Superfly I ordered something from the barn and he

  • 38:15

ordered something from the bar and we just stood there and we had a toast hmm just to life and

  • 38:22

our successes and our families and music just for listen life

  • 38:28

expectancy in this business is about the thing it got down to four months now yeah I mean it's short so when you got

  • 38:35

your brother that you just seen start from the bottom and we hear now you celebrate that [ __ ] so we had a toast

  • 38:41

and I stayed for another 30 and got out of there but boy was I just appreciative

  • 38:46

and happy and humbled that we got to have that toast mm-hmm

  • 38:52

yeah that was important that was important for me yeah who we are is how we will be

  • 38:58

remembered and jovane and not just whole vein uh

  • 39:06

Jazz fly like we've lost we've lost some people that have just been really close to home over the last

  • 39:15

few years and I tried to Spirit a podcast of these things but there's been

  • 39:20

plenty of death just circulating between family friends some of my older buddies

  • 39:26

Health complications hospitals just it gets real that's real it gets real I

  • 39:33

mean I say I say the little tag at the end of the part but I very much live by it life is a series of moments

  • 39:39

and then they pass you never know when it's your last time seeing somebody

  • 39:45

    [Music] um that's true

  • 39:51

you know we'd be beefing over stupid [ __ ] dumb [ __ ] right I don't really keeping in contact because you take for

  • 39:57

granted like this person's gonna be here tomorrow that's that's what I got that's what I got for you guys I I

  • 40:05

my God is strong I thought I was coming in here to deliver a difficult message and to

  • 40:12

have a really tough pod I even probably saw myself crying through this right

  • 40:19

but I'm not as sad today as I was over the weekend

  • 40:24

like I'm here to celebrate and give back to someone whose life was

  • 40:30

spent giving it to us and others like there's not a reason to be sad if

  • 40:35

every impression left in every footprint traveled is just love well wishes positivity

  • 40:45

positive impact teaching helping pouring into

  • 40:51

I mean you said that you don't have that energy here but energy don't die like that that's true true so it's still

  • 40:58

present so if you really want to honor somebody you can learn from them and kind of

  • 41:03

implement some of that in your lifestyle I didn't I didn't think I would be doing hovane any justice to come in here and

  • 41:11

be sad for y'all because personally speaking I've never seen him sad

  • 41:19

that's a good one that's me I've never seen it

  • 41:25

always just happy upbeat with a joke a smile a wise crack we lost the real one

  • 41:31

yo that was all I could say Saturday all I could say was we lost the real one

  • 41:38

it was so bad I was tempted I almost got like these goofy [ __ ] and posted a text up

  • 41:43

um it was bad like that deer had to stop myself yeah all right I can relate

  • 41:51

cause if you ever gave if if there's ever a time to post a text Hoven and text everybody with some positive [ __ ]

  • 41:58

now you didn't hit me in times well get this on a [ __ ] go ahead I can't even talk to you right now you're too

  • 42:04

positive for me oh man we love you yo or yeah man we love you

  • 42:11

thank you gonna miss you and just wow

  • 42:17

and just wow Kim if you need anything from us we're around the stories say that this happened

  • 42:23

around 2 30 and whatever the time was for Friday night Thanksgiving I even hated on that a little bit like you so

  • 42:30

loved that you get to go with love

  • 42:36

think about it I'm a big a big proponent of that how you live is how you go

  • 42:43

to go in that setting just loved and careful that's a [ __ ] gift man it's a

  • 42:49

gift we love you obey oh I got you I got you guys yeah you I

  • 42:56

got you I'm a little late with it I know I know I Know Dan I'm still a little late but

  • 43:03

I'm a little off here we go I'm still messing it up Jesus oh my God

  • 43:08

what happened to verified come on man you're gonna pay the eight

  • 43:14

    dollars here we go

  • 43:19

vane had open invite here sometimes he just popped up facts

  • 43:25

and even then man he always came in and take a picture and I hate taking pictures but it's whole what are you

  • 43:30

gonna do but I took it you take it yeah glad that we have those pictures

  • 43:37

I always go to the kids I always go to the kids [Music] we know how many kids hope ain't that

  • 43:44

two two oh Claire huh Brook and clear

  • 43:49

oh and it goes without saying but let me say it if the family needs anything somebody hit me

  • 43:55

if there's anything that I can do please do not hesitate

  • 44:01

    to let me know

  • 44:06

also gotta say rest in peace to Irene Karen Don new Kirk we also lost yes yes indeed Legends definitely I will alert

  • 44:14

the audience I will get to the bottom of mine and issu's relationship at some point

  • 44:21

but he has spent the next hour and change searching the records for this

  • 44:28

mythical it's why are we like this doing that

  • 44:34

this brother type of there's something that's something there not not even

  • 44:39

close you're looking for the box score no he went to go this guy he was confused for the dude because Joe said it was

  • 44:46

nice so most New York [ __ ] that's nice I heard of them you know what I'm saying like I've been around basketball a long

  • 44:51

time so I never heard of Kurt small so I was just going to see if he was super nice like Joe said okay but come back

  • 44:58

with your discovery of whatever you found come on give me not just and I you know a lot of the prep schools I was

  • 45:03

familiar with too like MCI back in my day like Oak Hill has a long run but

  • 45:09

like back in my day it was like MCI um Spartanburg in South Carolina they

  • 45:15

were known for just putting out quality basketball players so Laurinburg was something that I had never heard of but

  • 45:21

it seems like data [ __ ] like they have a track record they're in the tops of sending kids to the high D1 schools that

  • 45:28

go on achieve greater things and you're sitting right next to a guy who plays in that very team yeah

  • 45:33

against Oak Hill how many games you played in that season I ain't playing no burn so that was it

  • 45:40

    so you averages

  • 45:46

[Music] [Applause] I don't think that's how it works yo so

  • 45:54

of course ish looked to step on my moment I did not and he brings up Gilly now I I I just say I don't even call

  • 46:02

Gilly you almost made me call him Gillian smoke your boot show Gillian shape he's in shape like he is actively

  • 46:09

out here in shape and he's showing off every moment that's the part I got to get to the bottom of Gilly who you don't

  • 46:16

really have a relationship with you just come out straight with the big UPS big

  • 46:22

upset I said I got a terrible doubling gun I see I'm a friend nah I see Gilly

  • 46:29

out here you know I'm in a war with me pull it up Gilly is five foot five and weighs 70

  • 46:36

pounds and here cook your goose and I don't know that what are we talking about a game of what like five on five

  • 46:42

full court I won't be in that game I'm not running up and down no now you talking about a big three style where

  • 46:49

it's just half court I don't come from that school he would be clotheslined on the floor before he

  • 46:55

cooked myself that's what you'll have to do you'll have to hack them but that's what I do it's not definitely it's not

  • 47:00

that's what that's what I do it's not that's what I would have to do that is what I do shoot

  • 47:05

you never really all right it's all right bro that Shooter's shoes my man I'm not even you know what I'm saying we

  • 47:11

I know most people are used to only seeing a clothesline in the painting

  • 47:21

you ain't about to get on fire my favorite part of basketball games today is when the whistle blow and [ __ ] try

  • 47:27

to get that extra shot in and somebody jumping somebody get that [ __ ] out of here you're not gonna about to get hot on my watch same thing that's it but

  • 47:34

it's cool I got it no that's smart yeah yeah hey we can pack that hey is hate

  • 47:40

  • 52:56

this guy's stupid yo nah but them shits get busy

  • 53:01

it's a little scary though why it's less scary it is definitely less scary than a

  • 53:08

microwave but [ __ ] that you could cook in 30 minutes that [ __ ] Cooks in seven minutes it's a little scary

  • 53:14

hey man eight minutes is is usually to go whatever I put in there I'm putting on eight minutes

  • 53:20

I might spray it with a little bit of Pam sure I'd use a olive oil olive oil okay

  • 53:44

    easy yeah it's a no-brainer [ __ ] look that's a no-brainer

  • 53:55

it's like a running joke now in a relationship that what that you can't hang up that you don't know I'm gonna

  • 54:00

get in trouble even saying this [ __ ] because you don't know how to hang up

  • 54:06

you see that's my mom that's my mother yeah my mother right to the hang up part all right babe love you kiss your face I

  • 54:13

stink and right before somebody hang up here she go but real quick let me tell you do you

  • 54:19

know my best friend is trying to buy this house up the street and Candy came and said we were so close that's my mom

  • 54:27

did you just miss our whole hang up Segway my mother my mom I've been multiple times in the front all right

  • 54:33

Mom all right I'm gonna talk to you later okay well moms don't care there was a Geico commercial about that that was funny

  • 54:41

a commercial where the person was fighting everything in the world juggling everything and his mom no no he

  • 54:46

was doing a Neo he had to yeah chasing him he was shooting he was called yeah yeah that's funny

  • 54:52

yeah that is hilarious but um because Mom don't care like you said Mom's okay what you're doing like Mama I

  • 54:59

answer the phone hey what's up and she just go oh that's another good question how old was y'all when you started to

  • 55:04

shed some of that that's those my parents [ __ ] started to come into your own a little bit what you mean yeah what

  • 55:10

you mean beliefs I'm asking when you give your parents just a little bit of pushback about something that you wouldn't have normally gave a little

  • 55:16

    push back on

  • 55:25

I was young I mean like when you were an adult not when you were a kid she's saying

  • 55:31

[ __ ] my parents no you're an adult and you like my mother religious bro my mother's the other kind of church is the

  • 55:37

normal yeah yeah so young I was already inquisitive 14 15 I'm like yo but if

  • 55:43

your mom is like it was only Adam and Eve how are you straight so far from the Lord's life

  • 55:49

    experience environment

  • 55:54

yo but now you're like yo if it was Adam and Eve they had two sons so what that mean Eve Pop under the sons

  • 56:01

no I I started asking questions early yeah that's about the question though

  • 56:07

I did ask some questions early too but like hey what's up with this cross I did have some questions stupid yo

  • 56:15

what's wrong with you and I never really liked the answers I got back here at all not enough to continue to go on Sunday

  • 56:22

    morning just believe

  • 56:34

sometimes that algorithm get the algorithm in that was sometimes huh that was the 50s 60 whatever that

  • 56:42

was they was getting them thought that was 21. take this shot right

  • 56:49

you good fam it's cool you don't make that the same as the religious you do

  • 56:54

you I recognize the scam but related for me

  • 57:04

religion is really based on faith most religions because a lot of the stuff you can't physically see is not tangible we

  • 57:12

really don't know what the outcomes are going to be they say if you live this certain way then this should be your

  • 57:18

outcome the job wasn't big they forced us over there this [ __ ] based on fear

  • 57:33

that's it Sky daddy gonna get you it's kind of Debbie yeah what did you just

  • 57:38

say Corey yeah Daddy gonna get you if you don't do this

  • 57:45

that I almost called this dude did you just call God Sky Daddy

  • 57:51

condescendingly I might ask no that's just what it is if you don't see [ __ ] that had their dad played different

  • 57:59

[ __ ] that had a dad y'all jokes be different Sky Daddy

  • 58:06

condescendingly too I can get real technical because who said that's the sky I told y'all all right reality come on

  • 58:13

what else we got what make the stallion just hit Forbes 30 under 30. stupid yo

  • 58:21

okay okay let's go that's good news yeah that's good news yeah she got the cover

  • 58:29

um yeah I only laughed and they're gonna say I made I'm not hating that's great I

  • 58:34

only laugh because that was announced the day that they were picking the jury the jury for the trial of course

  • 58:42

um so I was like so if that was Monday that they was picking the jury and the GQ [ __ ] came

  • 58:48

out I mean the fortune came out Monday I'm laughing in my head saying all right so she wasn't 30 under 30. Sunday

  • 58:57

just yesterday that this wasn't true is this breaking news or is this a

  • 59:02

coincidence her team is excellent amazing excellent I mean yo this game is

  • 59:08

ran by the lawyers and the Publishers I'm not talking about Meg no more don't think I'm sending shots I'm not I'm not talking about no more in general I'm

  • 59:14

doing my period yeah the lawyers and the publicist yo well you just saw uh Vlad blamed the publicist for the sweetie not

  • 59:22

showing up sweetie called me Joe Alicia and gave Vlad the most beautiful apology in the world I hate it here I hate

  • 59:27

hip-hop I hate hip-hop what nothing you hate it too I do yeah I

  • 59:35

    don't like this shirt it's a bunch of [ __ ] I'm over it I can't steal nobody I know we're not supposed to say that I can't still nobody you you can't

  • 59:42

still steal somebody no I know he can't yeah cause I'm gonna get sued that's [ __ ] up right because it's

  • 59:49

crowded that's messed up that imma get suicide that's what I'm talking I know that because one of my good friend my good

  • 59:56

Spades buddies we had spade game the other day right just playing some cards

  • 1:00:01

the gambling aspect is different now but like you said cash out uh you won't

  • 1:00:06

trick me no don't trick me into doing it that guy's good he's too rich shorts

  • 1:00:13

shorts Your Shorts no I was sure it was 25 of men oh 25

  • 1:00:19

minutes no no no that was an argument for me back in the day okay I didn't want to

  • 1:00:26

sit there and play we lock in we do 10 hours yeah

  • 1:00:31

get busy so come on put some meat in the game like let's make all the games matter so 25 no 100 a man that was let's

  • 1:00:39

do it and then whoever's down at the end you let him get their bet back so he was doing 25 50 again cool

  • 1:00:47

but just the feel of it the the jokes and the laughs well you know we talk

  • 1:00:52

about places that men can talk and feel safe at the barbershop the Spades table is in that I get that bum ass Keith tell

  • 1:00:59

me about the Jets and Mike White he got a he Mike Whiting people I bet he did oh

  • 1:01:04

my these Jet fans they hype about that hey Mike White but Mike White he bowled up he went crazy he balled out last year

  • 1:01:11

against the Bengals 400 yards like Mike White can play they got a problem until

  • 1:01:17

the next week that's the only thing that happened with Mike White last year

  • 1:01:22

well they're gonna give home boys but anyway so at the spade game we lost we lost one of our Vital members Justin

  • 1:01:30

was a CEO at Rikers and he moved to

  • 1:01:36

Vegas and I caught myself I said well Dad why did it I said

  • 1:01:43

oh well who the [ __ ] want to keep going to Rikers if I could go to Vegas and be a

  • 1:01:49

    sheriff [Music]

  • 1:02:06

    [Music]

  • 1:02:15

yo people whatever you do make sure they don't ask

  • 1:02:21

them who he with because he might not know how to respond then 40 40 of them jump on him

  • 1:02:27

now you got one pretty green eye now you Eric sir

  • 1:02:33

[Music] what's wrong with your man yo this guy's

  • 1:02:40

a fool man that wasn't even a good example nevermind I thought about something else

  • 1:02:45

yeah yeah you know why hip-hop is phony I made Houston's [ __ ] slash his eye out

  • 1:02:50

nobody ever said nothing else about it

  • 1:03:00

well you know Houston is Houston that I know that Houston uh I think Houston's name

  • 1:03:07

was Houston okay oh really yeah I didn't know that I didn't know I think so and I only know that because that

  • 1:03:14

[ __ ] was shooting up the charts when I was trying to get a record [Laughter]

  • 1:03:19

Uncle Sam is one of my favorite one-hit wonders too anyway

  • 1:03:25

I don't ever want to see you again early one morning while you were asleep

  • 1:03:33

you know so that [ __ ] always try to show off his thing in the building you know you're nice

  • 1:03:50

    [Laughter]

  • 1:03:57

uh come on what else is important uh Balenciaga is suing the production company that they hired to do the ad for

  • 1:04:04

25 million dollars and put out some statements saying they're very sorry and how could something like this happen and

  • 1:04:10

people need to do better than us and it won't happen again and it won't happen again yeah no I'm gonna get y'all I'm

  • 1:04:15

gonna give you 25 now but contrary to what y'all always coming here and kick I do think that they will feel the effect

  • 1:04:21

of that I think so I think so okay no no no I definitely think so okay yeah like no she's saying sometimes y'all go too

  • 1:04:27

far over the line yeah that's true this country [ __ ] with dogs and children yeah

  • 1:04:32

you can't do that to no kids because what type of sick brain are you to put the paperwork underneath that's the

  • 1:04:38

    other [ __ ] come on that's the [ __ ] that was inexcusable right like somebody's

  • 1:04:44

Balenciaga someone somebody had to prove it yeah words oh that went through it somebody had a bunch of yeah a bunch of

  • 1:04:49

people saw that and said okay yeah this is it that's the only part where I saw it before they even saw it the idea a

  • 1:04:55

bunch of people yeah the little outline the production yeah Marco whatever this is again I'm I'm

  • 1:05:02

still on the other side where I just don't think I already saw Kim Kim K jump out defend them like Defender

  • 1:05:10

    Balenciaga

  • 1:05:15

and while you do that I'm gonna find another little clippity clip to play up would you look at that there it is ready

  • 1:05:22

right on the go bop bop confused leading blacks with black leaders

  • 1:05:30

let me tell you why you don't do that one of the reasons you don't confuse them black leaders are chosen by you

  • 1:05:38

they're chosen by the people they're going to leave they're tell us about us but let me tell you about the leading

  • 1:05:44

blacks the leading blacks are chosen by the media leading blacks

  • 1:05:52

leading blacks are chosen by ABC all broadcasting caucasians

  • 1:05:58

leading blacks in the hospital chosen by NBC nothing broadcasting

  • 1:06:09

about CBS the Caucasian broadcasting system

  • 1:06:15

[Applause] when you allow leaders to be chosen by

  • 1:06:20

the media that's owned by the corporations when you get ready to change your lives but carefully watch

  • 1:06:26

and see what the leading blacks are doing because that's when the leading blacks sneak into the door to the corporations and they will tell the

  • 1:06:32

corporation so we know how to go and put them down we know how to get you some real affirmative action Negroes

  • 1:06:41

at the end of the day the leading blacks need the corporations and the leading blacks have gotten paid while we have

  • 1:06:48

gotten played [Applause] all right bars yeah get them bars right

  • 1:06:55

here something light light work that's what Kim said I'm gonna give it to us leading another leading black

  • 1:07:02

I've been I've been quiet for the past few days Kim K it's both unfortunately not

  • 1:07:09

because not because I haven't been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns but because I

  • 1:07:15

wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand how to understand for myself how this could have happened

  • 1:07:21

as a mother of four I've been shaken by the disturbing images the safety of children must be held with the highest

  • 1:07:26

regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society period

  • 1:07:32

I appreciate balenciaga's removal of the campaigns and apology and speaking with them I believe they understand the

  • 1:07:37

seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures measures for this to never happen again as for my future with Balenciaga I'm

  • 1:07:44

currently revaluing my reevaluating my relationship with the brand and word caught them up a little bit shut up

  • 1:07:51

those bees thank you go ahead now I'm alone

  • 1:07:58

um currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand basing it off of their willingness to accept accountability for something that should

  • 1:08:04

have never happened to begin with and the actions I'm expecting to see them take to protect children

  • 1:08:09

oh Shane rock with them you see based on them accepting the uh accountability

  • 1:08:15

they tell the truth about what he just read man come on what you mean what I don't think she

  • 1:08:21

rock with them okay I'm not what do you think you agree wish no he's saying that

  • 1:08:26

she I'm saying rock with him I accept the apology like that sounds she shot a little bit

  • 1:08:32

based on what they I think she's saying yo based on how y'all move in the future I might consider

  • 1:08:38

still powerful she's setting herself up she's setting herself up to come back and say yo y'all I vetted it out and

  • 1:08:43

it's good I apologize I apologize and we'll continue my business with them and she threw in all of that publicist

  • 1:08:51

jargon mother before to hate children deeply rooted we got you dog yeah I get

  • 1:08:56

it we got you if you're not gonna come back and tell us what you about to do differently than save all of this like I

  • 1:09:01

know what this is could be I don't think that's what I looked at I don't think she's about to debt or whatever business with them I

  • 1:09:08

don't but I I don't think how she worded it like I'm shooting y'all know she definitely bring back the women that

  • 1:09:15

supported their husband in some views

  • 1:09:21

I'm quiet up now yeah yeah why I can't just say something and my

  • 1:09:27

wife just support that for a little bit why you got Why You Gotta Wait doing some other [ __ ] going on to speak out

  • 1:09:32

    against some [ __ ] huh [ __ ] I've been in the fight for his life [ __ ] fighting for

  • 1:09:39

he woke up and not going to say yeah yeah yeah Joe he didn't even wake up

  • 1:09:45

if it doesn't apply Let it Fly yeah like if it don't apply Let it Fly yeah

  • 1:09:51

grab me and my family through the media for months no I'm not saying she should have done that with hers oh I'm just saying bring

  • 1:09:57

back the women that will oh okay I thought you were saying hurt get away

  • 1:10:03

from that [ __ ] driving you crazy yeah that's the boy that word even

  • 1:10:10

though it was a little fake article I don't know if it was fake but it was a little article that you gentlemen chose to ignore that said Tom Brady's wife

  • 1:10:15

bought a house across the street oh I didn't see that I saw it I didn't see that one that's dope dope huh it's

  • 1:10:22

cool when they do it it's cool when they do it we came in

  • 1:10:27

here and hadn't had 90 thing pieces when Kanye bought out across the street we did we did come on I was right there

  • 1:10:36

yeah and we we think piecing yeah it's a little different why because this

  • 1:10:41

nigga's been saying you know you just said she is stalking him that's why he's losing the

  • 1:10:47

Panthers for our children oh yeah

  • 1:10:56

oh y'all one of them y'all one of them why no Isis they eat this original dad

  • 1:11:02

yo you can't remote ground Daddy I know Isis I know yo you can't remotely compare the two things

  • 1:11:09

yes it was for the kids but it was also for her now stay there you nasty ass I

  • 1:11:14

would love to speak no fam yeah was ragging on her man ragging on her

  • 1:11:21

bragging on her family you ain't heard Giselle say a peep about Tom Brady that's you defending uh her and Jerry

  • 1:11:27

Jones again look at the narratives not you defended Kim and Jerry Jones again but with

  • 1:11:34

visions when it came to us see it was on us this week boy

  • 1:11:41

even threw me in a little bit of that yo and then and then I got to be solid I'm so solid and the internet never say it I

  • 1:11:47

ain't saying now that was my man I just stood there and got shot at I always take the shots with my dude I

  • 1:11:55

ain't gonna defend Jerry though no but it don't matter uh my man defended him so

  • 1:12:00

I'm down I ain't the Venom just shot him Bell hey whether you pay the bill or the bail

  • 1:12:07

bondsman the [ __ ] got out of jail hey whatever you did

  • 1:12:12

he was free and then the internet would have really tore y'all but then Stephen A got out

  • 1:12:18

there if actually that's a great question what do you guys think about what Stephen had

  • 1:12:24

    to say about the matter

  • 1:12:34

get out of that one get out get out of here

  • 1:12:43

let me ask you oh never mind never mind it's your man what do you think that is

  • 1:12:48

my man no I know you think it was warranted do you want to keep making 12 million

  • 1:12:54

dollars a week if you got to answer tough questions we

  • 1:12:59

got to answer tough questions you do that's the part the internet

  • 1:13:04

always leads why didn't you go to work and take a stand

  • 1:13:41

no Charles had a whole bunch of Sports Illustrated covers and [ __ ] like that no but they got him because he said some

  • 1:13:47

wild [ __ ] about uh uh you know all this Kyrie all just all of that mm-hmm

  • 1:13:53

but they kept a foul they kept the foul they had the sports illustrator cover 92

  • 1:13:59

    94. shackles chains breaking free from the

  • 1:14:05

chains and the shackles and the and the shack dressed up with dresses on yeah

  • 1:14:13

don't do that big Jersey thank you we didn't say nothing about

  • 1:14:18

your nephew when he had a hard game don't do that

  • 1:14:28

but anyway yeah that's what it is they go back oh yeah

  • 1:14:35

the internet love giving you this you moment yeah have a blast boy I just

  • 1:14:40

started 200 million dollar 10-year contract yeah that's me and this is me too

  • 1:14:47

it gets tough it gets tough trying to be solid

  • 1:14:52

and not be Uncle Tom it is tough why can't the two be um

  • 1:15:03

no you're raising a good question but it's still funny why can't

  • 1:15:09

let me I'm trying to yeah I'm gonna try to engage with it like I'm I'm serious

  • 1:15:14

you can't do both you don't think no and still be an employee I haven't seen it done successfully I

  • 1:15:21

guess if I try to think about it like I think of OJ I think a tiger I think of Michael Jordan I just think that's the

  • 1:15:27

way to do both shut up I'm just trying to stay out of that you just got shut up or I think or are you gonna kill me for

  • 1:15:33

this I do think that LeBron tries he tries but even that don't come on

  • 1:15:42

sir but the public knows it you can tell it yeah you know no who really beatbox no do it but he not really so he

  • 1:15:49

    self-employed Denzel does it Denzel don't give a [ __ ] he'll say

  • 1:15:55

whatever he want to say but he's self-employed so he's not really you know what I'm saying is he's self-employed he's selfish well I'm sure

  • 1:16:01

he's probably uh for these companies I know I'm saying in a manner of speaking he don't have a boss that he ought to

  • 1:16:07

report to you know what I'm saying but you still he don't looking for gigs but he don't talk like when he give you something he'd

  • 1:16:13

give you the Jewel and you don't hear from him for the next here but until he says don't be on the popular side of the

  • 1:16:20

establishment oh come on let's talk about your man who your man Will Smith

  • 1:16:26

what we'll do everything shave stepped into the shave room how so though

  • 1:16:33

I've been philosophical like I didn't really he's promoting his

  • 1:16:38

emancipation movie so he's on a run he's popping up just sitting with a bunch of different people one of those stops was

  • 1:16:44

the shade room that's where I got my good chuckle from that was funny

  • 1:16:50

but he did an interview with him yeah I love watching people expand they got

  • 1:16:57

trade room investigative Series yeah people going crazy out here but anyway yeah Will Smith went on there to explain

  • 1:17:03

how this ain't really like your normal slave movie I I would never know and anyone a couple

  • 1:17:09

other places and was like yeah now that slap wasn't my best self then he went a couple of other places

  • 1:17:14

and was like I could see if you kind of don't want to watch the movie but I think you should do it don't want to hurt my team with my yeah my actions my

  • 1:17:21

actions to hurt my team and I ain't gonna hold you ask somebody that constantly is searching for movies

  • 1:17:27

and shows that [ __ ] ain't pop up pop off of the movies part it didn't jump out

  • 1:17:34

it's easy to scroll right past it it didn't make you want Apple TV right yeah

  • 1:17:40

yeah it didn't do it didn't do and can I just say all right round of

  • 1:17:45

applause to Apple TV I personally think that y'all are going absolutely crazy

  • 1:17:51

with the shows yeah from surface to Sea

  • 1:17:56

    to Severance which I have yet to finish that's not [ __ ] I'm not done [ __ ] the morning I'm not done I hear a lot of

  • 1:18:03

this for a couple weeks a Feeling this ain't one of them you could you could browse your phone and watch

  • 1:19:36

  • 1:19:42

everybody people keep popping up and it's important to recognize who these people are in the story but they kidnap some girl they shouldn't

  • 1:19:49

kidnapped for political reasons and she's a scientist and her brothers that that dude in the Navy SEAL and her

  • 1:19:57

have a show it's tough to tell people just to come in and tell people how I was right here we go this one is for ice

  • 1:23:26

all right let me hear it MCU direct whoever that is I don't know

  • 1:24:21

it's a weird way of saying you was right Joe oh okay you were correct Justice there

  • 1:24:27

because you wanted to hear it that one time and this is why I'm Gonna Change friend group soon

  • 1:24:45

no honestly for real I'm gonna tell you the truth right now that one time that we was in the escape room

  • 1:24:51

and the whole room was stumped over a compass you got us out of there

  • 1:24:58

and the whole room paused and said thank you yo Without You In This Moment

  • 1:25:05

we would have been lost just reciprocity yo it's not just Lauren

  • 1:25:11

Hill that needs it thank you y'all moving right along thank you bro moving right along Meek and Ross

  • 1:25:17

on stage like your first and the 15th thank you bro I appreciate that

  • 1:25:23

I appreciate that bro you better stop publicly

  • 1:25:30

what happened you keep trying to be part of the year you keep trying to walk the

  • 1:25:35

line you better shut up about your little business come on Meek and Ross Meek and Ross hit

  • 1:25:42

the stage yeah Meek had a um a 10-year anniversary concert for uh uh Dreams and

  • 1:25:48

Nightmares album Round of Applause for me all the Heavy Hitters out but yeah Meek

  • 1:25:54

and Ross on stage together was it was a big deal looking beautiful where was the show Philly Philly of

  • 1:26:01

course okay Philadelphia that's dope that's what I said and what the internet

  • 1:26:08

say I don't know what they said I don't know what I said either I I was just like you know I laughed wasn't sure if

  • 1:26:14

it was dope or not yeah I don't we knew for for a minute we've been

  • 1:26:19

hearing Rumblings of tension we haven't seen them together nobody about to take us out of here

  • 1:26:24

Tanner clip this I just found this is what ice thinks

  • 1:26:29

about the meek and Ross reunion make it spicy too like the podcast dudes oh man oh make it spicy like them other podcast

  • 1:26:36

dudes be doing so I just found a little humor in it because the way I found out that this even

  • 1:26:42

happened was I saw Ross post on Instagram and he tagged he his caption was Maybach

  • 1:26:48

Music Meek hasn't screamed Maybach Music in

  • 1:26:54

years so I took this as you know because Meek is honest I'm independent I'm doing

  • 1:27:00

everything this way I kind of took this as a Ross way of saying hey dogs I see what you're doing

  • 1:27:05

but you still made back music over here buddy that sounds like that that sounds like

  • 1:27:12

the opinion of somebody that be taking [ __ ] Off Albums I didn't take Nick off anything though I said [ __ ] I'm

  • 1:27:19

definitely taking [ __ ] off sometimes [ __ ] need to be taken off though I'm just doing the work that the

  • 1:27:24

engineer should do but in this case were you happy about

  • 1:27:29

    the reunion um

  • 1:27:34

I am happy about the ryoka I would say I just think it was a little extra motive in there

  • 1:27:41

I was hating I'll be honest here on this part I was hating a little bit why

  • 1:27:49

because about if you caught a record or a run about

  • 1:27:55

six or seven years after I came out I'm tight you could go for like the next

  • 1:28:02

you could do the [ __ ] you could do this if you cut any motion

  • 1:28:07

from 2010 and on and not

  • 1:28:12

01020304 they're still country for you these kids are racing history I just

  • 1:28:17

seen a meme going around of all the tick tock kids laughing at the

  • 1:28:23

2012-2013 era of mustard Kid Ink fat win all of those on they were laughing oh

  • 1:28:29

the fetty WAP arrows hey wait a minute you kids wait a minute

  • 1:28:35

yeah yeah that ageism is a thing in hip-hop it is ageism is a real thing in hip-hop

  • 1:28:43

it is if the kids wasn't out you got to remember these kids right and we do this kind of simple math all the

  • 1:28:50

time we talk about the generation gap you're four years older than me right that if you six seven that's six in six

  • 1:28:56

seven years there's a whole new crop of [ __ ] on the internet with new opinions beliefs fears ideologies and they vocal

  • 1:29:02

about them yeah hey y'all I think Eminem was a plant wait huh wait wait a minute you kids

  • 1:29:11

well they just learn a new word to run into the ground that happens well I know they also never heard of raucous records

  • 1:29:17

They never heard of that battle scene they never heard it they admit they wasn't there so if you just here and

  • 1:29:22

you've got 20 years of your little knowledge these little [ __ ] is quick to tell you they appear I think that's such and such that's Smokey Robinson

  • 1:29:30

    [Laughter]

  • 1:29:39

that's Paul McCartney you guys sir sir sir sir

  • 1:29:45

play with something safe anyway that but that's what ageism is a

  • 1:29:50

thing in hip-hop it is look that's where you kind of get mad it's like yo dog if you play basketball like my my nephews

  • 1:29:56

they watch them [ __ ] be watching Rod Strickland they be watching Stockton they watching

  • 1:30:06

    this yeah

  • 1:30:24

you know what's funny that only matters because it was okay and who said it yeah that that that that

  • 1:30:32

holds the weight what if it was just a regular person that was dead yeah okay yeah whatever

  • 1:30:39

he's just saying that because [ __ ] said yo he had a triple double I can't make like 50.

  • 1:30:44

    I gave somebody 50. in a lifetime

  • 1:30:50

No I gave Oak Hill 50. no they could do that a lot of times a lot of time I was

  • 1:30:55

promoted that game with Kurt Smalls that's some frustration coach Gill never seen nothing like that yo yeah 50. from

  • 1:31:03

them little time now just keep you keep doing that yo dog just I'm just I'm in the corner but that's one of them

  • 1:31:09

feelings as a man that you just vote for me anyway that's one that I would love to be able to embellish in bro like the

  • 1:31:16

guy who went out there and scored 50. no matter what you say about Brandon Jennings he went out there and scored 50

  • 1:31:22

in the books no matter what the experts say about Jamal Crawford he put 50 up on every team on all of y'all like when you

  • 1:31:29

could do that like that's a stat oh stat and that's different I'd have made a

  • 1:31:34

bunch of your great stumble you know that [ __ ] jamalia come down yeah over there Jamal Crawford is

  • 1:31:41

different different yeah he's different he's different different different and you and and another one that's been

  • 1:31:47

running from the Joe Budden 101. Jamal Crawford Jamal Crawford hello

  • 1:31:55

Jamal Crawford I don't know if you've seen the old kill footage

  • 1:32:02

running for me for about over 10 years now I would call it but I ain't gonna do it

  • 1:32:09

yeah you know that [ __ ] talk slick no he talks I know he talks yeah we're like

  • 1:32:15

leave that one alone it was like 2013 and I was like you ain't tough [ __ ] he's like who has the most clutch uh

  • 1:32:22

    shots ever behind Kobe Bryant

  • 1:32:29

when [ __ ] pull out them type of stats on themselves you leave them alone Sam any [ __ ] that could come in an NBA gym

  • 1:32:35

and get 40 on any given night

  • 1:32:56

all right uh Drake bought Cali toilets

  • 1:33:02

like four of them I will hit the round of applause though I will hit the round of applause and

  • 1:33:08

say some [ __ ] it was gold it wasn't gold it was the fancy Joyce though they

  • 1:33:14

was the fan smart smart smart toilet from a certain brand I don't remember right now they cost like nine thousand

  • 1:33:19

he sent like four or five of them eight of them something crazy like that as much as I wanted to clown this action

  • 1:33:33

this was that times something else and to send nine of them I thought that that

  • 1:33:38

was a real adult gift that was a real adult gift listen to Somebody it took some thought send a

  • 1:33:45

homeowner a fancy [ __ ] toilet he sent a bunch but I mean that's watching he just bought a new crib or

  • 1:33:50

something it was like a housewarming game yeah I just been here no but I've been to your house oh you got eight bathrooms and I don't

  • 1:33:57

really like pissing in there I don't like when I go pissing there I want to feel like home when I'm in your home but

  • 1:34:02

he did you know he sent some sassy messages that's his thing that's that's a nice gift that's a nice stunt that's some dope [ __ ] yeah it's a nice stunt I

  • 1:34:09

was like hey when you started saying I was ready today I wanted to hate on you that's a nice that's that's how you start I couldn't hate on it I'm not even

  • 1:34:14

gonna tell you that I don't like your tallest I'm just gonna send you some new ones surprise Amazon pull-ups

  • 1:34:21

  • 1:34:32

what made them they do not give me too much money

  • 1:34:37

I think if you if you would have had like that Kanye

  • 1:34:43

    money oh man Barack Obama

  • 1:34:54

a little wee bit you would have went crazy Phil you could probably hit the Kanye money

  • 1:35:00

now that ain't his money no more

  • 1:35:19

you know even though that's the door man but still no uh yeah sir y'all run from

  • 1:35:25

  • 1:38:11

it is and I personally shower this is why I'm against men staying out of women's business

  • 1:38:21

and that's my business too should start smelling a little weird in the room a little weird that ain't me ma

  • 1:38:26

that wasn't me yeah no I'm tapping you on your back shoulder right where your baby daddy's name is tatted hey hey

  • 1:38:33

  • 1:39:12

DeShaun Watson's coming back against the Houston Texans oh yeah they they had that plan from the rip and they're bringing the accusers to watch the game

  • 1:39:18

from the box he gonna ball out you're lying ten ten accusers the lawyer bought a box or whatever

  • 1:39:26

that's and nobody has a problem with that that is that is a definitely a problem and I'm Gonna Keep it a buck if

  • 1:39:31

a [ __ ] really sexually yeah yeah cause you're a little your white privilege

  • 1:39:36

your white privilege makes that face smoother than mine you're doing the same thing I'm doing

  • 1:39:43

no stop y'all do it please because I'm gonna kill this I'm gonna get this game

  • 1:39:48

  • 1:40:07

want to laugh one of my people's just joking what happened to her last week right dog if some man did something to

  • 1:40:14

you inappropriately the last thing you should want to do is to be present at the 50-yard game watching him [ __ ]

  • 1:40:19

throw touchdowns is that true yeah before I even get into

  • 1:40:27

this is this true this that's how foul this sounds yeah this is true that he's definitely playing against Houston right yes yes all right I'm starting them

  • 1:40:36

but yeah dog like if some man from TMZ it's from TMZ oh no it's true now

  • 1:40:44

  • 1:40:49

  • 1:41:15

let the lawyer to play you like that you lawyers are crazy I ain't even blaming a lawyer no yeah but they got they gotta

  • 1:41:22

okay they gotta agree to do that Parts can a lawyer make me go stand in front of somebody that did some sexual

  • 1:41:27

misconduct to me [ __ ] you talking about that's at the 50-yard line but if he's like saying

  • 1:41:33

that this might be good for your legal situation or something like that I don't know I don't know yo I know this is and they settled

  • 1:41:41

already didn't they come on fam I know this is Val because you sound like some Olivia from Lauren Law and Order would

  • 1:41:47

do Olivia break all the laws to get the case done Nah when they especially when

  • 1:41:52

it comes because you know she got on the show yeah she go all out

  • 1:41:57

I doubt if she's gonna have the victims at the 50 yards that's what she does yo yeah yeah Olivia might do that oh he's

  • 1:42:03

gonna make him do throw an interception I've seen her I hope he don't I've seen Olivia fake kid on the show to get some

  • 1:42:09

money in jail Olivia Gonna Get You Olivia

  • 1:42:15

it don't be enough on Olivia oh but I bet I had a whole good spot why CPS never mind it's fine it's fine please

  • 1:42:21

come on what else is important uh Elon Musk says that uh Apple doesn't want to

  • 1:42:27

advertise with Twitter because they must be against free speech who wants to tell Elon I'm a little tired of Elon man yeah

  • 1:42:35

yeah I see how he gets come on and he also said that um he posted some [ __ ]

  • 1:42:40

showing like the top 20 or so um the biggest donors to the Democratic

  • 1:42:47

party and they was just all like huge huge huge corporations and he was like yo this don't seem biased to y'all and

  • 1:42:53

it was like yo fam you don't say that when I'm sure that the Republicans all the same [ __ ] that was

  • 1:42:59

my thing he's annoying he's annoying he's annoying and if you and if you're Mr free speech and everything being even

  • 1:43:05

like I said my most other side of that too right don't just post one song you're hanging about

  • 1:43:11

huh hang in a box wait High School uh college no no none of it he was the nerdy [ __ ] that was just out here smart

  • 1:43:17

as hell I ain't got no girls when the money got him the girls your man yay

  • 1:43:24

well thank you for that unpacking thank you for who was [ __ ] in high school

  • 1:43:32

when they got a couple dollars like you can definitely tell you disagree

  • 1:43:38

no I don't think chicks were running around dying to [ __ ] somebody named Elon in high school that strikes me as odd in

  • 1:43:45

the first place I thought I should have been getting more [ __ ] in high school too

  • 1:44:08

    I'm asking people there yeah

  • 1:44:15

yes that was hey-ish I wanted to talk about the Soul Train Awards I didn't

  • 1:44:21

even know that happened because every performance at the Soul Train Awards was magnificent and they were performances that you

  • 1:44:28

wouldn't typically see at the major award shows these performances didn't

  • 1:44:34

look like they were dictated by record sales uh star power selling ads the secret

  • 1:44:42

cards we didn't even know the wars happened yeah that's crazy yeah well because it costs money to let you all

  • 1:44:48

know that the awards are happening but that's what I said you said it wasn't dictated by selling ads I'm like you can tell they wasn't doing that but uh let

  • 1:44:54

me see if I could find this here because I was blown away I didn't know they were happening either I only caught wind

  • 1:45:00

because the performances were that amazing let's see where are they y'all talk while which performances did you

  • 1:45:06

see let's see here when were they okay I think it was Sunday I guess

  • 1:45:12

[Music] Shante Moore hmm we just started last part with Chante

  • 1:45:18

Moore good to see that Shante Moore still sounds like this Shante Moore is not someone you would

  • 1:45:24

typically see perform at a big award show right Coco Jones

  • 1:45:30

oh okay one of my new favorites one of my new favorites Coco Jones

  • 1:45:36

but what I'm saying performed I mean these people are highlighted with a

  • 1:45:41

light shined on their performance attention paid to it right Jay holiday

  • 1:45:47

listen to Jay holiday still sounding good who knows that he still sounds good I

  • 1:45:53

wouldn't know that I was happy to see Jay holiday it's good to be 50 years old with a

  • 1:45:59

classic record with a smash what bed could come on at any time because and you're going to respect it

  • 1:46:06

uh Ari Linux Ari is probably another one that should perform at more

  • 1:46:11

bigger bigger award shows hey yeah with bands and choirs and

  • 1:46:20

tank and Jay Valentine did slowly highlighted nice little colorful tuxes

  • 1:46:26

they have on oh no that's when I go deep that part right

  • 1:46:32

there you gotta yo anytime you [ __ ] you match the lyrics of the song Hey extra bonus points

  • 1:46:40

uh what else what else what else come on sir listen to the people I'm naming though

  • 1:46:47

yeah musicians some guy named q a new guy that his

  • 1:46:53

voice seems phenomenal I know Q uh and money long stole the show with

  • 1:46:58

like a whole um Tyler perryish performance that acted out the record like

  • 1:47:06

I thought more attention should it be should have been paid to the performances where was his aired

  • 1:47:12

this was Saturday or Sunday but what channel though I'm saying or does that feel too Addy I just want to go find it

  • 1:47:17

and watch the replay I didn't know about it I forgot I actually did forget I didn't even hear about it either

  • 1:47:23

timeline I don't know what channel but I think the social Awards is still on like regular TV or BT

  • 1:47:29

I'ma find it I'm gonna find I want to watch one either way it would behoove

  • 1:47:34

you to see the performances because everybody showed out that [ __ ] sounds amazing I wish more award shows were based on

  • 1:47:41

the Merit of the artists and the art you know like that whole little letter to Grammy guy I put out about this is based

  • 1:47:47

on the art yeah if it's true the performances would be indicative of that such as the Soul

  • 1:47:54

Train award so I want to shout out everybody behind that on the flip side to that BT yeah BT on a flip side you

  • 1:48:00

said you wish more war shows did it you know we didn't even a lot of people like you said

  • 1:48:07

yeah so it's like we here to make money yeah we might want to focus in on the

  • 1:48:14

art only might not be what makes us money we need to come online it's a little hard to

  • 1:48:20

follow along between the two [ __ ] ain't easy Super Bowl I don't give a [ __ ] who win we just selling ads yo and that's the

  • 1:48:26

business side we want a good game but if we don't we want these teams Giants Cowboys most viewed regular season

  • 1:48:32

football game in the history of the NFL 45 million 42 million the other day

  • 1:48:39

yeah yeah okay to put that in perspective the Super Bowl I think only gets 100 Mil 110 mil something around

  • 1:48:45

here oh wow and it was a regular season regular season game Thanksgiving games with us down three offensive linemen and

  • 1:48:52

two sisters we just keep throwing that one out there yeah it got me zero points I can't even look at this no more now I

  • 1:48:58

gotta [ __ ] look at the commanders on my back I can't even talk to this no more I took

  • 1:49:05

him to commanders I'm glad you know that's cool I'm a realist

  • 1:49:11

depending on the day I'm a realist I wish that you would be a real depend on the day I'm always a realist and the

  • 1:49:17

realest double entender double entender don't even ask me how what else is super important out there speaking of the

  • 1:49:23

commanders did you guys see the uh the thing the Sean Taylor uh statue celebration situation that got everybody

  • 1:49:29

in the testing he's trying to piss us off it's disgusting you trying to piss himself that's disgusting somebody somebody

  • 1:49:37

reporter yeah Dan Snyder put up a quote-unquote

  • 1:49:42

thing honor and Sean Taylor you remember Sean Taylor rest in peace um hell of a player it

  • 1:49:48

ended up being like some makeshift mannequin [ __ ] it wasn't like a real yeah it was like America it was

  • 1:49:54

basically some [ __ ] he with the cheapest everybody went he's a multi-motional no I'm saying he went to

  • 1:50:00

yeah I rebooted everybody was up in arms about it like as they should be respectful as they should be don't don't honor me if you're gonna do some

  • 1:50:06

[ __ ] leave me alone see that was my take on Chris Brown and amas

  • 1:50:11

I don't even call my phone if you're just about to turn it into a mess and he they that's just picking up

  • 1:50:18

traction too like I think they about to make that [ __ ] on the next award show whoever it

  • 1:50:24

is if it's the Grammys I'd steal it yeah come on over here and do that oh I would 100 yeah I steal it but yeah

  • 1:50:32

so I wouldn't be surprised to see that tribute pop up somewhere yeah the Grammys have been losing clout with the blacks anyway I'll definitely make it up

  • 1:50:38

right here come on over here and celebrate Michael and yourself because that [ __ ] is fine yeah yeah

  • 1:50:46

I don't see that happening but I would love to see it the Grammys in them they playing a

  • 1:50:52

different type of business game yeah we need to win this black business but I get that but it's a lot of people that

  • 1:51:00

are going to be pissed off with that as well they don't want backlash they want to keep it as lowest in in less waves

  • 1:51:06

and ripples as possible I don't see it happen I would love you know I would love it but

  • 1:51:14

no that's your man but but let's see I'm about to see it

  • 1:51:21

true I don't care how many Christmas lights they put on new shoes I'm good somebody walked in the executive meeting

  • 1:51:27

at Balenciaga with Christmas lights and they put them in the bags and shoes and everything else ain't gonna get me buddy

  • 1:51:33

no Siri Bob that [ __ ] could blink up all at once Little Bees nope oh I need to

  • 1:51:39

sell my shirt it's just cost too much do like my son throw him an incinerator

  • 1:51:45

when the last time you've been buying incinerator shout out to mice when the last time you've been buying incinerator

  • 1:51:52

I never know they still had incentives poor people [ __ ] right

  • 1:51:59

you're not walking me off the ledge my [ __ ] I'm good maybe trying to get somebody I'm asking them a question I

  • 1:52:05

don't know all right forget it then oh man there's four people [ __ ] I just want

  • 1:52:10

to say you guys have been really enjoyable for me this part I don't know why that is but man you're gonna get

  • 1:52:16

triple double high so everything that's yeah that's what it is I just can't believe y'all hated on that

  • 1:52:23

yo why wouldn't we because y'all are friends that's why we hate it

  • 1:52:28

that's backwards in the male community in the black community we got to reverse that that's all right all right part of

  • 1:52:36

the show part of the show okay we have Ryan

  • 1:52:42

Shelton hey wyan says okay feeling a little triggered my bad

  • 1:52:51

hi guys okay so I'm watching I Believe episode 581 and y'all just spoke about what is

  • 1:52:57

okay for your woman to wear around the house ish referred to uh it's referred to

  • 1:53:02

monitoring what his woman could and would wear as to not entice his homeboys based on her body type and I had to

  • 1:53:08

pause to write this in a previous relationship a dude policed what I could wear because of my

  • 1:53:14

curvaceous and thick body that policing best word I can think to describe it right now around the house

  • 1:53:21

seemed understandable especially considering when his homeboys was over like an issues example

  • 1:53:26

unfortunately I love the plot twist that type of governing of my wardrobe turned

  • 1:53:33

wild when at a family function he decided that my Garb was inappropriate mind you we were surrounded by his

  • 1:53:40

family a party for his gay uncles that shade which was a luau and his sister

  • 1:53:46

dressed me he ended up getting loud and eventually picking me up to attempt to stuff me in his car saying how he was

  • 1:53:52

taking me home we all seen that guy in the party yeah

  • 1:54:00

the wolves are you carrying your girl out over the shoulders

  • 1:54:07

his brother had to check him hard it caused the rift between them for a while my question for ish and any of you Gents

  • 1:54:15

what when does the do's and don'ts of what your girl wears become toxic

  • 1:54:21

do y'all ever consider the trust for your girl's decision making when deciding the boundaries of her dress

  • 1:54:29

since she directed this to you I'm going to direct it to you oh actually this is a great question

  • 1:54:35

to ask with a woman around it definitely is and we happen to have a woman around

  • 1:54:41

so I'm going to ask her to join us specifically for this in case ish gets out of line we have issues Kryptonite

  • 1:54:48

the ish killer some of you know her as Melissa Ford others know her as Mel

  • 1:54:56

let's hit the round of applause come on come in Mel come on help us out you should accuse him I'm looking forward

  • 1:55:02

I'm looking for some Applause here we go hey hey come on sit right come on come

  • 1:55:07

on it's a little different from last time you were here get comfy out the basement

  • 1:55:14

yes we're out the basement no shade no no shade on the basement Millions were

  • 1:55:19

made down there yeah we could see everything now I got

  • 1:55:25

dressed for you guys thank you for joining us I love you guys we love you guys I do

  • 1:55:32

and you look great thank you you're welcome I appreciate it I try not to tell women that when they have like 30

  • 1:55:37

years of hearing that I'm like you're cool at that point you know you know how to

  • 1:55:43

judge certain compliments and you judge who they come from and what you believe

  • 1:55:49

the intention behind them is trained assassin she's a trainer I mean don't I look like

  • 1:55:54

a [ __ ] ninja hello a little bit of ninjas and sound like a ninja a little bit and

  • 1:56:01

I'm sure I have the same results as ninjas

  • 1:56:06

silently killing [ __ ] uh thank you for joining us yes I also love your audience

  • 1:56:12

yeah yeah I mean they love you too by the way I I didn't I've been trying to I've been trying to get uh Mel to come

  • 1:56:19

[ __ ] with [ __ ] for a long time let me just say that and let me tell you something La is a

  • 1:56:24

[ __ ] vacuum okay like once you get in there like it just holds you it just keeps you like you're just like swirling

  • 1:56:30

in that [ __ ] airbags you know come to New York I know energy but now the new

  • 1:56:35

    digs

  • 1:56:45

I don't know if it'd just be me having them I'll be in the back like hey [ __ ] is talking about okay that would be

  • 1:56:50

awesome it would be awesome we would love that uh ish

  • 1:56:56

she asked a bunch of different questions um well her final question I'll read it to you again okay

  • 1:57:02

I think the toxicity was already there I don't think the woman's clothes

  • 1:57:07

um makes the guy or his response toxic I think that's an insecurity in the man

  • 1:57:13

already that's my personal opinion um however

  • 1:57:18

there is in my opinion a line that is crossed so when you step outside if

  • 1:57:24

you're in a relationship you represent your partner guy in girl so women oftentimes look at it from a

  • 1:57:31

one-sided thing it's like yo dog if your man got a big dick and he outside every day wearing basketball shorts or gray

  • 1:57:37

sweats you have a problem with that stop acting like you wouldn't have a problem with that you would have a problem with that

  • 1:57:43

have you ever policed your man's wardrobe that [ __ ] tried to leave the house in

  • 1:57:49

Gray sweat no I'm kidding no um no I've never I've never policed what

  • 1:57:56

my man and this is more so about what your partner wears in the house when company comes over see so I said it was

  • 1:58:02

a bunch of different parts yeah but so initially last part we had a conversation where

  • 1:58:08

um I talked about we asked like I forgot what the question was but my thing was yo there was a time when one of my exes

  • 1:58:16

she just aware what we wear at home but regardless of whoever was there she'd

  • 1:58:22

continue you're in your 20s so sometimes women don't feel like that may be inappropriate so I think that's the

  • 1:58:28

guy's job to step in and say hey yo there was one little thing on your list that shook the table for the audience

  • 1:58:34

they looked at it like it was toxic and I don't think so I think so so I said yo if your girl is voluptuous that's first

  • 1:58:39

right because we all dress for our body types right so if your girl is voluptuous and she's walking around with

  • 1:58:44

a halter top on and some spandexes I think that's inappropriate yo go throw on one of my t-shirts some sweatpants

  • 1:58:50

some shorts or something and rock out spandex is what shook the table I mean audience no no it's honestly when you're

  • 1:58:57

walking around with a voluptuous body you're literally walking around with an arsenal of Weaponry I mean like that's

  • 1:59:02

just the reality of the situation and and the truth of it was really evident during one Super Bowl

  • 1:59:08

um I can't remember which one it is I feel like it was like 2007 when Indianapolis was playing Chicago and

  • 1:59:14

they had Elaine Bryant Intimates wear um commercial and they've had Victoria's

  • 1:59:22

Secret you know lingerie commercials all over the TV didn't matter it did Super Bowl Monday whatever the [ __ ] but nobody

  • 1:59:29

said anything these Lane Bryant models and if you know what Lane Bryant is it's for much it's

  • 1:59:36

for curvier women I mean they were just everything the cup runneth over they look they looked so

  • 1:59:44

good and I'm straight as they come but these women looked yummy the Uproar was

  • 1:59:52

unbelievable you'd swear that these women had just walked a catwalk with f

  • 1:59:58

with KKK hoods on or something like that from the Uproar the the how obscene and

  • 2:00:04

inappropriate I was like really full-figured women's bodies are obscene

  • 2:00:09

I was like the Christian crowd needs to just you know fundamentalists need to sit the [ __ ] down okay so but that's the

  • 2:00:16

reality of the situation so for me give me your Twitter in case they disagree with you all right give them your

  • 2:00:22

Twitter handle in case they disagree with you no but so I'm not finished so even in my 20s

  • 2:00:29

I had Optics you know and that's just for me when I was home chill for me

  • 2:00:36

would be sweatpants and I would be extremely cognizant of

  • 2:00:42

who came through the door even though this is my dom style this is where I live and I can make the rules

  • 2:00:49

if my man is there and his friend just came over you know it's different from me being on

  • 2:00:55

a magazine this is front center this is personal I don't want I just for my own

  • 2:01:01

Comfort level I would want to be a little bit more

  • 2:01:06

um discreet because I just and understanding your Weaponry

  • 2:01:11

yeah you know and like people would be will probably be like but you were on the [ __ ] covers of magazines and

  • 2:01:17

you're underwear [ __ ] like what the [ __ ] and I'm just like um that was different it was like it was it was you

  • 2:01:23

know it was a profession yeah exactly what I'm saying exactly and so

  • 2:01:31

at one point like I had like a female roommate and she had a boyfriend and anytime I knew her boyfriend was coming

  • 2:01:36

over it's my apartment where I pay the rent but you better believe I put on sweatpants t-shirt whatever because I I

  • 2:01:45

don't want there to be any I don't want there to be like you know any coloring outside the line I don't want there to

  • 2:01:51

be any you know questions of well your intention now did she respect me in the

  • 2:01:57

same way absolutely not I had a guy come over this [ __ ] was in [ __ ] booty shorts and I was just like does she have

  • 2:02:06

there you go let me tell you something she walked out the room he was just like girls do that alone not even on her best

  • 2:02:13

day and your worst would I I said you don't even have to tell me that I know what I mean this is the fact that she's

  • 2:02:18

doing it just the fact that she did it I was just like I'm in the wrong direction

  • 2:02:24

what are you talking about I mean stranger things have happened but so she

  • 2:02:29

is basically in agreement with me it's a level of decency and

  • 2:02:34

appropriateness and insecurities too yeah but that matters now how do you feel about outside of the house

  • 2:02:40

because that was the second part so it's two parts when you step outside your door you representing your dude so if my

  • 2:02:49

girl is walking outside with fishnets on to church that's a representation of the

  • 2:02:56

man now mind you she can wear whatever she wants to the church says come as you are I know it's don't

  • 2:03:04

okay just don't yeah okay but yo no I'm just saying and again the

  • 2:03:11

hot the flip side is I wouldn't wear something that might either inappropriate

  • 2:03:16

so yeah it depends on the guy too like some guy some [ __ ] don't care some guys really love yes when they when

  • 2:03:23

their girl flexes you know and like she got the body and she puts on like the skin tight [ __ ] and every [ __ ]

  • 2:03:30

wants her he likes to be a voyeur for that [ __ ] and I've definitely dated that

  • 2:03:35

guy where he just stood by the bar and watched the just the chaos ensue but it's a difference and he felt so good

  • 2:03:42

knowing he was going home with me yeah

  • 2:03:47

but also what was the biggest turn on for me was the security that he felt in

  • 2:03:53

himself to literally just sit there at the bar with a smile on his face

  • 2:04:04

I literally dated right after him dated a guy who was wanted to you know just is

  • 2:04:11

there a difference in sexy and raunchy uh yeah absolutely so yeah your girl

  • 2:04:16

being sexy she's just gonna be sexy she could wear some jeans and some stilettos [ __ ] with a Blazer on and shut [ __ ]

  • 2:04:23

down but there's a difference in having all your ass out Heaven you know what I'm saying like it's just a different

  • 2:04:28

thing like give me your Twitter handle in case they want to talk about what you're saying they already know I I so

  • 2:04:35

that's just my personal opinion I think every relationship those two people decide what is appropriate in their

  • 2:04:40

relationship and I I agree that like there's toxicity already present with his desire to want

  • 2:04:48

to police in the first place you know so that's already present basically at the

  • 2:04:53

end of the day when you're in your 20s you know this is the time for you to make all the [ __ ] stupid ass mistakes

  • 2:04:59

you know but it's also the time where you are basically going to be the best version of yourself like you are you're

  • 2:05:06

shiny and glossy and you're stunning and whatever else you should have a lot of fun with that you know I wish that I'd

  • 2:05:12

had more fun with my 20 year old my 20s you know what I mean we definitely got

  • 2:05:18

to talk to you on patreon you're getting too much cap off right now you wish you had more fun huh I was

  • 2:05:25

so reserved I was so reserved

  • 2:05:31

nobody believes me yeah you know we was running around what we were running around the streets of New York who was

  • 2:05:37

Jonah oh okay and then what happened don't put me in it don't put me in it if y'all never saw me

  • 2:05:46

in the running around the streets teach you it was I didn't I know you

  • 2:05:53

didn't yeah I bumped into you at the work functions exactly I did what did

  • 2:06:00

you and I didn't have it so I mean I was

  • 2:06:10

I was so reserved like you know I would I really sucker yo you are so you are a podcast

  • 2:06:18

extraordinaire you are something here that's what I mean to do no I'm gonna let you around holy [ __ ] all right

  • 2:06:27

    [ __ ] [ __ ] yo is this some inside [ __ ] going on no no

  • 2:06:33

nothing in here okay it's fine okay but you are the king

  • 2:06:40

    of podcasts

  • 2:06:51

all types of sheepskins on her

  • 2:06:56

hey put this comforter over here wrap this up no remember when they had like

  • 2:07:02

  • 2:07:08

good times I missed that the girls went crazy with those damn man

  • 2:07:14

that is true it was hard to find them to the show friend of the show Steve Madden

  • 2:07:20

  • 2:07:26

  • 2:08:59

like some cold part of Canada it was an Ugg store I went in there I bought the Uggs that we wear still to this day and

  • 2:09:04

I was the first rapper to wear them Uggs outside in his normal travels you know the ones the slippers with the fur in it

  • 2:09:12
