heart or our own enjoy the show some serious business today I'm going to play with these

  • 0:30

[ __ ] understanding how how you feel

  • 0:35

in the face of other voices without second guessing yourself is probably the single most

  • 0:44

important um thing to practice as an artist or skill set to develop as

  • 0:51

an artist is to know how you feel and own your feelings

  • 0:56

and and the key to that is not I know so I know what's right for you it doesn't

  • 1:01

work that way it's just I know from me and the reason I chose to be an artist

  • 1:07

is to demonstrate this is how I see it if I'm if I'm undermining my taste for

  • 1:17

some commercial idea or uh it defeats the whole purpose of doing this this is

  • 1:23

not that's not what this process is about this process is

  • 1:28

I'm doing me and I'm showing you who I am and you can like it or not but either

  • 1:34

way this is still how I see it microphone

  • 1:44

let me get the drops out the way I'm here to get to it boy I was waiting all week to come in here and talk bad about

  • 1:51

  • 2:33

Button here with a few of my nearest and dearest brother flip is here issues here ice is here Parks is here Posey of

  • 2:40

course here Junior's here Erickson is in the back uh everybody's good I'm assuming yeah thank God Parks made it

  • 2:46

back in one piece from L.A I did I did that time uh shout out to one piece yes

  • 2:52

yes on my anime I'm pretty good I see all they keep out there we all got a new

  • 2:59

respect for flip he got a cartoon tattooed on them yeah I know I feel you I feel y'all though freeze Library how

  • 3:05

y'all doing y'all good great great great great great let's dive right into it man and shout out to the fans shout out to

  • 3:11

the fans thank y'all y'all been riding the uh first and last time listeners the day ones and the last days we appreciate

  • 3:18

y'all man now boy did I have fun well we should start with Parks yeah we have to I had a pretty good time Sparks was at

  • 3:24

the Grammys we're starting with Grammys if you do not want to hear about the Grammys fast forward because it's

  • 3:30

probably for you this is Grammy pod time it is it is I'm hyped to talk about it me too me too all right parts give it to

  • 3:37

us uh I had a lot of fun man I did but I completely understand why you said uh you would never go to the Grammys again

  • 3:46

I mean if I would I guess long story short unless you are Taylor Swift or her

  • 3:52

or one of those people that is sitting here that little lizzo table Yeah if you're one of the table joints you

  • 3:58

probably have a blast everybody else I might rather watch that on TV got it because I don't know if y'all ever been

  • 4:04

to like a filming of an award show or anything like it before but it's kind of people I've ever been nominated for

  • 4:09

something like that but I'm not sure if you ever because I've been to uh award shows as a guest too

  • 4:16

like I said audience and it's not very much fun it's a production at the end of the day like yeah you know stop for TV

  • 4:22

breaks and uh there's no alcohol there's no food the only water they have is Dasani they was eating at the table oh

  • 4:29

exactly that's my point so you're just up there for six hours more when you include the

  • 4:36

travel time and all that [ __ ] with nothing well you got to see Bad Bunny perform I

  • 4:42

did I did but March watching Bad Boy yeah or something my bad bunny is performing

  • 4:49

like sitting there just sober like neat yeah it's kind of that part is kind of

  • 4:56

lame so I I understand why you would never want to go again and I don't know that I would unless it was in a better

  • 5:04

position yeah exactly got you okay but it was a lot of fun the red carpet was dope the little parties were fun I was

  • 5:10

gonna ask you did you do anything all right uh uh we did but they were very good shout out to the uh I forgot the

  • 5:16

gentleman's name it took a picture of us he's a friend of the show um but it was hectic it was hectic down there but it's cool being like you know

  • 5:22

the rock is pushing you to get through you know I mean you turn around Chuck D's right behind you like that [ __ ] is dope but the rest of it you know

  • 5:30

about the parties so you did the party you hit some parties we tried to go to the roots Jam but it was hectic and chaotic and they weren't really letting

  • 5:37

anybody in okay um so we went tonight to wonder did a party with battle cat that was phenomenal okay I thought she was super

  • 5:43

dope shout out to e Jones who was hosting it that was a lot of fun okay that was a lot of fun Steve Stout's

  • 5:49

event I saw the pictures looked pretty good too the uh independent Independence oh yeah that was I think that was the

  • 5:55

day before I got there that looked like it would have been dope though yeah that looked pretty cool uh but looked like I

  • 6:00

expected it to look Madness Mayhem yeah traffic congestion we stayed close by so

  • 6:06

we got to avoid some of that a plus list A-list a minus list

  • 6:11

and then the rest of them the Grammys see I was talking to a few

  • 6:17

people and they was like oh man you see the Grammys you know you're watching on Instagram from home people that have never been they're like yo man look like

  • 6:23

they let anybody anybody was over there the Blac Chyna was dead such and such was there that's disrespectful like that

  • 6:29

well yeah yes it is but the thing about the Grammys once you get there you'll very

  • 6:36

quickly learn your level of celebrity sure sure got it everybody can go

  • 6:41

because if you just in L.A for the spillover into the hotel lobby it's

  • 6:47

worth it for a networking opportunity or meeting some people are seeing some

  • 6:52

people all of that's worth it the parties the women but when you gotta go when it's event

  • 6:59

time Sunday I didn't see a lot of people watching Saturday Sunday morning when

  • 7:04

people was up getting ready getting dressed up as you don't know now

  • 7:09

who wants to start I'm so excited the actual show itself yeah let's talk about the show itself let's talk about the

  • 7:16

show let's talk about the show opens up with Bad Bunny of course he's the biggest celebrity in the business so of

  • 7:22

course he wants to come in and leave immediately yep I'm coming to do my set and go now he stays here he came back

  • 7:29

though oh he came back what time is that Eric what time you need me back I'll be back I'll be back

  • 7:35

for that yeah I love him I loved him over he killed it yeah he killed that's the energy I needed sitting in my living

  • 7:41

room I needed to swirl in dresses I needed all that Copacabana [ __ ] going on I did

  • 7:46

not mad at it I was cracking up at um when Trevor Noah

  • 7:52

uh first started you know you tell a couple jokes whatever to the crowd and he was saying Adele he got some

  • 7:58

information about a couple of the people that was there so he was saying Adele is a huge fan of the rock well he called

  • 8:05

him Dwayne Johnson they've never met and he's a fair to her I'm sitting there like hey dog

  • 8:10

don't bring the rock to meet my girl and I'm sitting right here next to her what you was gonna do

  • 8:16

did you see Rich Paul's face yeah yeah now you can beat up Trevor Noah that was one of my favorite this opened

  • 8:23

great yo I was like it's open right I'm with my girl I was like that's violation me and Trevor Noah got to talk after so

  • 8:29

at some point they planned that but of course I don't think Rich Paul why anyone talk

  • 8:36

to the Rock because the rock what'd he do The Rock was standing directly behind Rich Paul like that happened yeah he

  • 8:42

walked over there so that's why I think it was playing it was it was playing but we saying that rich people

  • 8:48

we don't care if it was planned don't bring him over here to meet my girl not

  • 8:53

this diesel beautiful man with uh with the the Hawaiian chest plate tattoo and

  • 9:00

a nude low riding tank top underneath his tuxedo I know a low ride is Friday Rising nude

  • 9:09

tank top under a tuxedo Blazer is what he had on no that girl that guy can stay over there and you got

  • 9:16

to announce it yo she's she's been a fan of his and and he's never met her she's never met him but I was just

  • 9:21

appreciative that they showed uh somebody straight at this point in the broadcast oh snap

  • 9:27

yeah I was very thankful that that early on they happened to find somebody out

  • 9:34

there just anybody that was still straight it was definitely um it was the panties it was

  • 9:42

    some other Andes too [Laughter]

  • 9:47

oh it was the panda Grammys man for sure dogs this was the all-inclusive Awards yeah

  • 9:55

    for everybody

  • 10:05

we lost I thought we was closest a little bit they killing us

  • 10:13

but hey look at that pinch they are you know I was coming in here to tell y'all just how bad the straights are losing so

  • 10:20

anyway but we'll get to that we'll get to it it's over though [ __ ] is deep they got the capital they

  • 10:29

clearly got the Grammy board yeah yeah I don't think you could have got on stage without showing your lgbtq Plus card

  • 10:45

so anyway the rock comes out cool Beyonce wins the first award but she's not there of course why would she be

  • 10:51

there yeah why would I be there so early I'm chilling yeah I showed up on time for the game

  • 10:57

I'm me I'm doing what I gotta do I'll be here when I get here but the Grammys

  • 11:03

really wanted us to know that Beyonce was coming as they should have cool they say she's coming dream gets up there

  • 11:09

with my man my man he's somebody so I wish I could

  • 11:16

say his dad I don't know his name right now but dream is such a gentleman he says you know go ahead and you go ahead

  • 11:22

and give a couple words but this is for Beyonce now so we're gonna get out of here why'd he do that no I was in my

  • 11:28

living room having a blast that [ __ ] honked up the mic to say everything you know and I got a uncle back home that

  • 11:34

helped me out to get here good looking man shout out to he was just hogging that all of my time that was awesome

  • 11:40

they finally got him out of there cool listen I'm here to unpack it off let me

  • 11:46

go to my notes let me go to my notes I got notes let me go to my notes taking notes there here we go Grammy notes you

  • 11:54

know [ __ ] The Rock Says pardon me Rich Paul yeah all right that's my first up see my notes I think might be in order

  • 12:01

Beyonce's speech when she wasn't there with this [ __ ] okay yeah here's my other note Willie Nelson won but was

  • 12:09

home because he's 209 years old yo why is Willie Nelson

  • 12:14

hey y'all got to stop this Monopoly y'all got going the same guy could be the guy for 90

  • 12:21

years yo Willie Nelson's him man Willie Nelson was home he wasn't thinking about the Grammys at all but he ain't him no

  • 12:28

more no he's still here oh man oh this next sentence I wrote Oh I was feeling

  • 12:33

controversial this night but I'm here to say it okay

  • 12:41

Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson should be done singing now

  • 12:48

well Stevie Wonder What am I the only one that caught it no way yeah did y'all

  • 12:53

catch you to know that's what I want to know depending on what you're about to say his mouth wasn't moving stop it all right Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson

  • 13:03

have to just stop they've been doing it for a hundred

  • 13:09

years why are you white people with the Grammys still asking our old great

  • 13:14

blacks to perform at 100 years old Stevie has somebody holding them up at the piano and and stopped letting Stevie

  • 13:22

get up and walk over to the next oh my God oh my God and what was that instrument

  • 13:27

it was like a Beat it's not visually what you think it is

  • 13:34

he was killing but when you're just watching him it was that the little guitar

  • 13:43

yeah it was like what he's on the NPC he was Arab he definitely wasn't that no no

  • 13:49

no no no then smoking come out like he could sing Smokey it's over for him to Me Stevie

  • 13:56

sounded all right yo smoking it sounded what are you thinking I'm happy to stop singing all right

  • 14:02

smoking they have to just go be Legends I'm sorry respectfully I'm not trying to be funny Smokey couldn't sing because

  • 14:08

his face couldn't move hey y'all see what y'all want today look

  • 14:14

do we all watch the same [ __ ] we did he ironed that face and put it on right before he walked on stage

  • 14:24

one of them two should have been hiring an escort to go suck wanye's dick from

  • 14:30

Boys to Men because if it wasn't for his little kids on the side turning up and doing the Running Man and every tick

  • 14:36

tock dance in the world for 30 minutes straight we would have been talking about Stevie and Smokey a little more and money got busy with the guitar

  • 14:42

um Chris Stapleton Chris Stapleton went up there finally

  • 14:47

somebody with a pulse and a voice and a voice I was so happy to see this white

  • 14:53

man doing Stevie's Greatest Hits but Chris stapleton's no joke

  • 14:58

before he said a word I was like oh thank God thank you please sing this

  • 15:03

song foreign no I didn't think that oh I

  • 15:11

wholeheartedly knew for certainly that Stevie Wonder My Favorite second

  • 15:17

favorite artist in this world it's time to stop I'm telling you this time it was

  • 15:23

a moment when the music was playing and you heard Stevie singing and his mouth wasn't moving at all you know how I knew

  • 15:29

it was bad I'm watching hoarding I'm watching with Imani oh they announced it they said Stevie Wonder coming up next

  • 15:36

Armani was the biggest Stevie Wonder defense oh [ __ ] yo steamy really has this type

  • 15:41

of thing I'm gonna say that man what's wrong with you get out of here if anybody can say this and then Stevie

  • 15:47

came out and I said oh [ __ ] you oh you're right it's bad Juan Yay Kid Save

  • 15:55

the Day a little dancing ass kids now you have four kids that look like you

  • 16:01

and do what you do like you did it oh this is the part where I tried to go up and get a drink only to find out that

  • 16:06

they only have Dasani water that's the only option you have so you have no option

  • 16:11

I feel like you've have you not heard me come to the party

  • 16:16

I ain't believe you of going out to the hallway thinking that they got a hot dog stand and

  • 16:23

there's no food in sight zero stand at the Grammys

  • 16:28

why would you have all of these A-list Mega celebrities here and not have any food they ain't have roses

  • 16:41

it was coked up they wouldn't think about no food you're hungry they have

  • 16:47

    food at them tables

  • 16:55

no no stop because you going about this wrong

  • 17:00

there were A-list celebrities not seated at the table this is the Grammys so they got every A-list celebrity in the world

  • 17:06

here the only people at the tables are the people that are involved in the production with the show correct yeah

  • 17:14

and the camera people that we have to uh put focus on and the fans wait off the

  • 17:23

    fans

  • 17:30

that was terrible yo but they couldn't find one straight fan even bro and every

  • 17:37

fan looked like they you knew exactly who they were gonna be a fan of like it was like that's that's not racist what is that

  • 17:44

that's something it's something it's correct you didn't have to know they didn't have

  • 17:51

to say you know I'm uh uh the first guard Harry Styles biggest fan you're a fan of like Harry Styles whose

  • 17:58

    name is Gary

  • 18:15

this is my favorite Grammys by far wait wait we're getting back to the fans yeah I loved when they the performers the

  • 18:23

whoever was introducing the performers this is my favorite [ __ ] [ __ ] come out talking about uh

  • 18:30

he used to be a bodyguard for me he was a bouncer

  • 18:36

we all knew he could say

  • 18:42

oh dude I can't remember his name don't have a country singer that was the funniest story in the world he said he

  • 18:48

used to bounce for me and high school 30 years ago I'm home saying who the [ __ ]

  • 18:54

is that word where did they find your dusty ass oh they wrote him a joke too

  • 19:02

uh uh thank God he was bad at bodyguarding or we would have never seen

  • 19:07

him like this Joe what's wrong he's probably never seen a fake ID in his life that Garnet

  • 19:14

of chuckle that was terrible when the audience laughs I said are you hungry as

  • 19:19

hell oh they got they also hungry the Applause all right back to the fans not a

  • 19:27

straight fan in sight certainly not a straight black dude fan

  • 19:33

but damn cool I thought this was a genius idea no it wasn't I thought it was it was terrible it was a podcast it

  • 19:41

was terrible back to my point about me just being sick of seeing people Implement podcast

  • 19:46

they put a podcast at every break of the Grammys but I like it this show was like

  • 19:52

six hours long you could have cut out that 30 minutes of [ __ ] content because that was terrible

  • 19:57

the fans why why your album why is your person that [ __ ] was terrible those wasn't none of the fans that I'd be

  • 20:03

seeing asking for pictures and autographs and ah your man Kendrick both the lady a minivan that was fly oh no

  • 20:10

[ __ ] the Grammys the Grammys bought that girl a mini gram

  • 20:16

of minivan three days ago words no they told us

  • 20:22

she didn't get it they just told him man no that was yeah let me get back to my

  • 20:28

nose stupid yo uh let's see the fan uh it's disgusting and or should be add

  • 20:35

Smoky to that list thank God for one of your kids

  • 20:40

oh the Sam Smith transgender speech

  • 20:46

okay how about to get up in trouble but it

  • 20:51

    has to be said

  • 21:05

he keep me out the shot put your phone down ride with me

  • 21:13

yo dead ass though if there's anybody with the movement it's me

  • 21:19

point to me I'm with the movement and good that underrepresented groups are

  • 21:25

getting the far the runway in the Forefront to the stage right now you better believe I'm clapping for that all

  • 21:30

day long all day long but it's not a butt

  • 21:37

with that I've noticed it's just remixed butt

  • 21:44

along with that I see I got the names

  • 21:51

no stop being silly y'all cause y'all making it sound like I'm saying some hateful and I'm not

  • 21:57

along with that I've noticed that there's a few key phrases that are said

  • 22:03

at these types of all-inclusive events phrases when they be like

  • 22:08

yo uh for so long I've struggled with myself

  • 22:14

today I'm comfortable with myself uh it's important to be true to self

  • 22:21

so I'm gonna tell y'all anybody that they want to go ain't comfortable with this so at all I'm

  • 22:28

    looking at y'all's next I'm checking you all out I don't I don't can't tell no more

  • 22:34

    I don't know

  • 22:39

you [ __ ] me up I don't where you going with this I'm saying a lot of them got on stage to say that

  • 22:45

and I'm checking them out what you mean check it out I don't know no more I don't know who is who I don't know who

  • 22:52

identifies as what okay I don't know none of that I'm stupid

  • 22:59

and you can't assume because that's a hate car I'm dead ass get so Sam Smith people

  • 23:06

first of all let me tell y'all I thought Sam Smith was gone I thought we got rid of him I thought he did stay with me and then

  • 23:13

the dude left that [ __ ] I thought he was sad and depressed and old somewhere but now he's back louder than ever yeah

  • 23:22

everybody in my living room said hey it's a video it's Sam I can't say what they said

  • 23:28

they said something to the effector and Sam Smith gotten gayer

  • 23:34

okay y'all got to tell me if that's possible I don't know no I did so Sam Smith

  • 23:40

apparently has a transgender person on his song that the people in my house didn't know

  • 23:46

was a transgender and she didn't look like a transgender there's no way to know but anyway she did a long speech

  • 23:53

introducing to Sam Smith like a long one

  • 23:58

    I just I'm I'm a fan of the music

  • 24:15

oh [ __ ] yo you can't even talk we can't talk now

  • 24:22

we can't talk we can't yo he was busting a lot of y'all a lot

  • 24:27

of y'all at the grammy no no this is making Panda music yo I'm gonna say it he got Mega news David what

  • 24:35

yo you got my man sweating stop it when I

  • 24:41

would go smoke but I don't smoke no more I haven't smoked today listen these [ __ ] is pandering that's

  • 24:48

my take all of them everybody they all Pander it was the panties I'm not I'm not saying

  • 24:55

that people are not what they say they are that's not what I'm saying don't misconstrue my point

  • 25:00

I'm saying even with that there's a lot of pandering going on in

  • 25:06

these songs and these acts and this branding and this marketing and it's tough because you can't say

  • 25:12

nothing about any of it but when it's just when the Grammys is that it was so in your face

  • 25:19

    it was [ __ ] P Grammy I was stuck p-valley Grammys

  • 25:25

that's what it was and no I don't want everybody in my living room asked yo did Sam Smith get

  • 25:32

gay so listen the red big plastic bag

  • 25:38

looking like you trying to be Missy all the all the all transgender backup

  • 25:43

dancers the transgenders told second verse in a cage on fire flaming a top hat with

  • 25:52

horns devil imagery in the background of the cage

  • 25:59

what are they doing no wonderful no wondering this [ __ ] got me agreeing

  • 26:04

with the Republicans no it ain't done before Lord Isaacs went up there and did all that devil [ __ ]

  • 26:11

but he went up there and did the same I don't see the correlation that's what I'll be saying but they're trying to

  • 26:17

make correlation between the devil and like you know what I'm saying it's almost like a they're doing this Freedom

  • 26:23

Ploy right you don't think so well you got to also look at prior to the performance you have Madonna come out

  • 26:28

and pretty much explain what you were about to see they know listen and she was looking crazy but look today we we

  • 26:36

let's keep it a buck we know controversy edgy all of that [ __ ] is

  • 26:41

what gets the attention going I wish Madonna would sit the [ __ ] down somewhere too I do I do pack it up Madonna they know they

  • 26:50

needed that it gets this moment here it gets at all I've seen countless

  • 26:55

um YouTube videos and and articles about it like yeah this is we want viewership

  • 27:00

we want people talking about this [ __ ] don't you think that they're doing this as a disservice because a lot of times a

  • 27:06

straight Community back in the days we equated that a lot of not we a lot of people equated

  • 27:12

the LGBT with the whole you know devil worship GQ Plus thank you lgbtq plus

  • 27:19

with the whole devil worship in and they going to hell and stuff and look what they're doing not saying are they what are they trying

  • 27:25

to do I don't know I see I see your point but I don't think they subscribe to that you know what I'm saying like Okay if if if if the straight Community

  • 27:32

or the judgmental Community used to be judging them in that way right like that's true they did and they used to

  • 27:38

get a bad rap but I don't think they subscribe to yo we going to hell or it could be you know what I'm saying so why

  • 27:45

would you are they trying to embrace that yeah yeah I'm gonna take control of what y'all been saying all right cool that's what you've been saying about us

  • 27:51

now look got it okay you know what I mean it could be something like that dog it wasn't a good performance how about that I bet it wasn't a good performance

  • 27:58

they had all of the smoke screen [ __ ] going on but Sam Smith can sing no

  • 28:04

question like for real yeah no I know I gotta go do my research cause I have

  • 28:10

to stay with me in that first album I kind of that first album I got I lost touch but I don't hear him sounding like he

  • 28:16

can still sing no all I hear him doing is telling pushing an agenda and that's

  • 28:22

where you get the pantry from yeah yeah it seems like it yo because because the song in song creation with these

  • 28:30

writing camps and these ai's and how y'all coming up with y'all songs now I've spoken about it here before

  • 28:36

I could just hear it it sounds it sounds like the focus of the song is

  • 28:42

not the song but just this message to Pander to these people look here's my

  • 28:47

point the marketing hey even in the song they brought they brought lizzo up to perform and lizzo I learned about a lot

  • 28:53

about during these Grammys apparently really big pop star uh yeah managed by or or assigned to a

  • 29:01

team that the owner used to be a pop star they've had success with other

  • 29:07

previous pop stars she's a pop star no question got it yeah they call her up to perform

  • 29:13

I've heard a few of her slaps because she got a couple big records but I never heard the song she was she did that

  • 29:20

night I never heard that song and without ever hearing that song I knew all the words to the song and could tell you the words to the song that's what I

  • 29:26

mean everything in that song was I used to feel uncomfortable with myself

  • 29:32

if you're struggling out there it was just a song full of catchphrases the whole time if you love I love me do you

  • 29:41

love you here's the thing that I have I guess I would surmise my feelings and all this [ __ ] is that it's a crock of

  • 29:47

[ __ ] I love inclusivity and I think it's important but when they do it in a way that feels forced and contrived it's not

  • 29:53

dope I agree deadly for me bro this is music being made for algorithm in Tick

  • 30:01

Tock all the music today from the people I'm talking about that are trying to be

  • 30:06

Mega stars are not making the goal like the Artistry is second you

  • 30:12

have to play the algorithm game now you got to play The Tick Tock game so yeah that's the music that's going to sound

  • 30:17

like damn what you're saying because that game playing the algorithm game is not specific to the lgbtq plus community

  • 30:24

no but what I'm saying is if I'm marketing it I have to play the algorithm game so that it can be

  • 30:30

marketed to that Community or in your messaging in my yeah because even with the lizzo [ __ ] it wasn't necessarily

  • 30:35

targeted at that Community it was just targeted at the mental health stuff and

  • 30:41

uh you know what I'm saying a lot of that stuff nowadays even though it's important don't get me wrong and I'm not minimalizing that I'm just saying it is

  • 30:48

clickbaity it is clickbaity like yeah it has to be set a certain way for it to

  • 30:53

work yo they using y'all they're using y'all let me say that everybody is using

  • 30:59

everybody I think that you could be down with a community and use the community and

  • 31:05

misuse the community that's true I'm probably the wrong one to say it but I think that could happen uh

  • 31:11

big Pharma is using y'all stupid asses that think y'all standing for something that was my other big takeaway before

  • 31:19

the Republicans told me that fives were sponsored this event see but CBS is CBS and because of my

  • 31:26

experience in advertising and how big of a part advertising plays and the music business let me tell you what I learned

  • 31:34

uh you and your independent signed to my man's in them records you'll get the advertisement from the [ __ ] up the

  • 31:40

street that makes a hat Spotify will get the Samsungs and the

  • 31:47

Googles and and CBS will get the big Pharma which is fine it should go like that

  • 31:55

but I had a big problem with the Grammys showing me everything they showed me

  • 32:00

that night and every commercial being what those commercials was did y'all pay attention to the commercials

  • 32:06

it was all medicine it was mostly HIV really commercials

  • 32:18

um really dog I ain't paying attention yet breast cancer watch the whole Grammys but I ain't paying no attention

  • 32:23

uh there's a couple of mental health shits in there interesting but they do all they show me all of this

  • 32:30

pharmaceutical [ __ ] in the ad and then right right as soon as that's over all y'all get back to partying

  • 32:37

dancing pumping fists gave Freedom writes this that well yeah I'm with that too I'm not with what they're using it

  • 32:43

for um I ain't with that she looked disgusting up there

  • 32:50

and don't nobody know because we just want to Grammy right that'd be my issue we want a Grammy so and we deserve a

  • 32:56

Grammy we turn it up that's right celebratory time don't take our celebration and just use it to [ __ ]

  • 33:04

pitch some [ __ ] same thing I thought when Jill Biden came out there anybody

  • 33:09

see that part I did it can y'all tell me what Joe Biden came out there to talk about what was that little part I didn't

  • 33:15

see that I mean that was the uh the new Award right for the the kid that made the song about um was it Syria or something like that I

  • 33:21

forgot I don't even remember the exact details of it all right it was something like that though that was televised yeah I ain't

  • 33:27

seen that much yeah they was like yeah this is the song of the year she was presenting song of the year or one of

  • 33:33

them big awards at the end but before that she did it was called they did a new word it was I don't remember what

  • 33:38

the the title of the award was special song some some stuff they made it up they made some

  • 33:45

[ __ ] up so Jill Biden goes up there they was like we have the first lady coming out my stupid ass thought Michelle was

  • 33:50

coming out I forgot Jill was like a I forgot they was a thing but it's fine Jill comes out there which

  • 33:57

let me know Khalid wasn't gonna win I thought Kelly was going to win that award once she came out I said no they

  • 34:03

ain't letting him get up there by the Vice President do all his that's not the place she's not the vice president I think the person

  • 34:11

they ain't letting the real hip-hop [ __ ] get too close to the first lady who won that [ __ ] Bonnie Raitt that was weird

  • 34:18

she didn't even she had no idea and it wasn't buddy Rick let's find out who won but um the country lady no what's my

  • 34:24

name right yeah oh it was yeah your body Ray had no idea it was it was

  • 34:29

the the first Grammy in the category of song for social change

  • 34:35

that's the one that you were talking about the panties

  • 34:41

not look so we can get it right no oh well thanks they made that [ __ ] up and we'll never

  • 34:47

see that war again Bonnie Raitt had no idea that she was gonna win that no also uh shout out to LL Cool J L O Cool

  • 34:55

J should be the president of the hip-hop Union or the hip-hop he should be the president of something he's kind of

  • 35:01

working on with the rock the Bell [ __ ] he's working on um besides the festivals they're putting

  • 35:06

money towards um retirement fund type of things he's involved he's doing he's doing dope [ __ ] yeah uh and shout out to

  • 35:12

the black music Collective I like all the work that they're doing we've spoken about that here before too but boy did I

  • 35:18

laugh at LL coming out to tell us that there's a new award

  • 35:24

by the black music Collective uh and this is called the Dr Dre award boy I stood on my couch clapping and he

  • 35:32

said yeah that's going to Dr Dre [Laughter]

  • 35:40

we can't even help ourselves it was a new Grammy that ain't supposed to go like that though named after Dr Dre

maybe she was a Fly Girl the [ __ ] out of here man I couldn't believe she was up the [ __ ]

  • 44:56

been affle you checked about that like he looked out of place and I love Jennifer he looked like they argued right before yo that [ __ ] looks so

  • 45:03

uncomfortable they just finished arguing yeah

  • 45:09

like puffing but you see the difference because he was telling you could you stop appropriate

  • 45:15

it's not appropriate talk like this word act like you was just acting in the car

  • 45:21

she looked good though we pop she did look good she did she did look good but when did Jennifer Lopez

  • 45:28

  • 45:59

  • 46:05

has Gary Styles come out the closet Ian that's your man did he no no right

  • 46:12

and I and you can't pull them out I learned my lesson don't do it what if he not

  • 46:18

then he's right then he then he's pandering then he's pandering

  • 46:25

did you watch the ones I watched it you lost me I bet I did I bet I did I bet I did if

  • 46:33

you watch the award I thought like after hearing that I thought he was part of the community okay but now to

  • 46:40

hear that that he isn't I think now I would think you would be better

  • 46:47

hey Gary yeah they got us

  • 46:52

no they don't got us stop it man said he called him Gary I

  • 46:59

did say call him y'all know him Miss Harry I call him Gary I also want to tell y'all that Harry

  • 47:05

Styles didn't want to be there and that's why I'm gonna leave him alone he looked like the only person there

  • 47:12

that was depressed Trevor Noah kept trying to include him in jokes he kept trying to tell Trevor

  • 47:18

Noah yo please get the [ __ ] away from me please get the [ __ ] away from me this is your third time over here Mig

  • 47:24

please get the [ __ ] stop playing with me his next sentence was going to be yo stop playing with me my [ __ ] go get the

  • 47:30

[ __ ] off of me dog Harry Styles had on a glittery sequence

  • 47:39

halter top that wasn't a guy's shirt well you can't say that I thought it was

  • 47:45

like no that wasn't the guy sure though I thought it was like a half tucked jacket he had that too no it was a belly

  • 47:51

it was a belly sequence called the top under the jacket I thought that was the cumberbund no not trying to cumberbund

  • 47:56

that was his white skin that was his white skin under there that wasn't a copper bunch

  • 48:03

let me tell you how I know Harry Styles didn't want to be there won the award that he was supposed to be

  • 48:09

there for did the slowest walk ever to the stage shoulders sunk up there

  • 48:15

and didn't have none of y'all other dude dogs go with this [ __ ] he had he really didn't know he was gonna win and said yo

  • 48:22

this is how he said he said people like me don't this don't happen to people this don't happen to people like me

  • 48:28

now all of us at home was saying this is exactly who this happens to plenty of white men have won this award

  • 48:35

but that ain't what he was saying no I don't think it was like a lot of times we we um

  • 48:40

I don't know him or his story but a lot of times these people be from the bottom you know you know what I'm saying I

  • 48:46

think they alluded to him yeah yeah like these people be from the bottom bottom so when you saying like stuff like this

  • 48:52

don't happen to people like me it's like yo my life been so [ __ ] up over these years that I would have never in a

  • 48:57

million years thought that I would be on the stage I could see you get what I'm saying like we think that these white people from England just be living all

  • 49:05

fairy tale live no These [ __ ] be from The Gutter and in England they have the they a lot of people suffer from

  • 49:10

depressed loneliness dog depression it's parts of England we we be in central London no [ __ ] go to Manchester go to

  • 49:16

these other areas in England the [ __ ] be starving and be out there busting their ass so I don't know his story I'm

  • 49:23

just saying that's what I gathered from his speech Harry Styles wanted to go home that's right that's what I gathered from his speech actually

  • 49:31

    [Music]

  • 49:40

all right gotta clap it off a b of course most all-time winningest

  • 49:49

Grammy winner ever Round of Applause yeah I don't think I've ever seen dance on

  • 49:55

the year awarded on the national broadcast well that was part of why like that's how I knew she wasn't winning

  • 50:00

album of the year we got her record tying and record-breaking Awards early as soon as

  • 50:07

they said dance album of the year and they went to Beyonce I thought they were just gonna close the bubble back up and be like all right so the winner is like

  • 50:13

we all knew that was going to Beyonce We Know

  • 50:19

who's the other dude that had the record in what the all that won the most guys

  • 50:24

the conductor or something the Hungarian respect to him I have no idea who that

  • 50:30

was I don't know who he is either but I'm saying he was a Hungarian conductor or some [ __ ] some more dude yo again they did the

  • 50:38

right thing making Beyonce the all-time winningest Grammy person I still think that they Shady

  • 50:43

me too I don't give a [ __ ] I think it was a they shady I think it was this is my opinion from what I got watching it

  • 50:49

this was one of the most um hip Hoppy

  • 50:55

Grammys that I've ever seen I agree it was it was super duper duper um

  • 51:00

intentionally minority so if one of you want to say black whether you want to say the community

  • 51:07

whether you want to you know what I'm saying it was just that like they put an emphasis on that yeah

  • 51:13

in all respects and so you got to kind of commend it at one hand but in the second hand did they do

  • 51:19

it as a ploy yeah we had to get Jay here we had to get Beyonce here we had to get all of these people here to sell the

  • 51:26

Grammys these are the ticket sellers you know what I'm saying like so yeah but they got them there they got them and in

  • 51:32

past years that hasn't been the case so all the people that worked on the Grammys put the Grammys together Jesse

  • 51:39

Collins just sat there and read the credits at the end there was a lot of Heavy Hitters at the end that put that together shout out to y'all for being

  • 51:45

able to get all of those a-listers there yeah there was a lot of negotiating and and them [ __ ] not only were they there

  • 51:51

they were participant they were yeah

  • 51:57

everybody is like filling the day a part of the crowd a part of all the stuff they just wasn't sitting there like this

  • 52:02

you know what I'm saying so that was that was super fly but yeah they did Beyonce wrong give Beyonce the award

  • 52:07

that matters give her one of the important Awards don't just I think she should have got the album of the Year

  • 52:13

award she should have got any award that matters I saw what that album did it

  • 52:19

should have been her Bad Bunny in my opinion herb went in the [ __ ] Electro whatever they was talking about I'm

  • 52:25

gonna tell him I think yeah so that ain't like that I don't like it I don't

  • 52:30

yo let me ask you Drake wasn't nominated for nothing Drake Drake won for uh it wasn't televised he won for uh that's

  • 52:36

melodic that's melodically the future but he didn't he didn't submit any of

  • 52:42

his records like he Drake is beef on the ground yeah has been for a while has been for a while don't submit music

  • 52:47

ain't trying to win no more got enough of them got a Grammy Rack in his house

  • 52:53

he's he's all right um so yeah I won't be honestly to win one of the important Awards I do uh

  • 52:59

let's see here I mean we ain't talking about the Hip Hop 50. oh yeah that was next to my list

  • 53:04

shout out to the roots first of all The Roots the Roots not even that just in general outside of this their whole

  • 53:11

career they do the right [ __ ] you know what I'm saying when it comes to representing hip-hop and these major

  • 53:17

platforms that they have they do it right they do it yeah understated and

  • 53:23

not said enough and they've been themselves facts in that like they're like purists but they ain't modify who

  • 53:29

they were right ever ever that's true yeah and shout out to MC Lyte who I feel belongs in that same in that same thing

  • 53:35

sure I meant to come here a few weeks ago and Shout Out MC light and some unrelated

  • 53:40

news because she was getting a divorce and the blogs ran with her divorce

  • 53:46

stories if they've ever posted anything about MC light before and they tried to kill her ex-husband or her husband right and

  • 53:54

MC light came out which I thought was the classiest thing in the world and wrote like this long speech saying

  • 54:01

basically don't play with him like we're ending on great terms that's a friend we built we've loved y'all don't know him

  • 54:08

y'all don't know who he is don't try to destroy a black man she went on a whole gonna try to destroy a black man speech

  • 54:15

in the middle of a divorce from one that's fine that's fire but back to parks's point LL comes out black thought

  • 54:22

is the first person to come out next boy I love that me chose it love it smoke that uh who everybody came out Rakim looked

  • 54:30

great amazing why does mail email still have muscles

  • 54:36

why does melee male still have all the muscles in the world and at the end of the broadcast started doing a pose off

  • 54:42

he was posing got right in for it and let y'all know yeah I like those yeah I

  • 54:47

like that's funny that's hilarious you should not still be that that strong he is too strong yo dog that was funny

  • 54:55

uh who else who else salt and pepper everybody look great big Jersey Queen Latifah

  • 55:12

was coming back too they surely dude everybody looked nice

  • 55:18

one's coming too yeah equalizer they're doing that all right yeah really Oh I thought she was very

  • 55:25

funny no no it's really coming now you know on hip hop a lot of times some people tend to fall off all of the acts

  • 55:31

that we saw they all look like themselves they look like the legends that they are pounds but they all look

  • 55:36

like themselves like Flavor flavors look good Chuck D look good you did you know what I'm saying like everybody looked

  • 55:42

nice so they must have looked younger I was happy at that every time I saw Buster even in the crowd I'm like is it me I told my girl I said Buster looked

  • 55:48

younger than he normally looked Buster gonna squeeze in the Chris Brown song absolutely he won't let you know he

  • 55:55

    won't let you know I I don't like that Weaver didn't really have a

  • 56:00

and I had this conversation yesterday like it wasn't a we jumped from

  • 56:07

2003 to 2020 23. well you jumping now I'm not done focusing on all these

  • 56:13

earlier groups gotcha some of them it looked like to me did some piecing it up

  • 56:19

yeah right right I want to focus on that for a little bit seeing Run Run DMC up there I was like

  • 56:25

oh [ __ ] they pieced it up great Chuck D and flave up there today look at

  • 56:34

it by piecing it up Jazzy Jeff killed it by the way there was recently The Source tweeted something about the fact they

  • 56:40

didn't know who that was or they didn't know he was a DJ some dumb [ __ ] it was crazy it was like the source the

  • 56:46

magazine The Source tweeted from their officials we didn't know he was a DJ where's Benzino when you need him get

  • 56:53

that right over there what the [ __ ] Kim somebody yeah please don't please I was disappointed that

  • 56:59

uh three three stacks wasn't there with big boy me too a little bit you showed me all these groups

  • 57:05

not surprised at it yeah not surprised with that [ __ ] then the locks came out

  • 57:11

and they just been have been an example of Brotherhood for their whole career so

  • 57:17

that was awesome and that's where I got confused because puff should have came out

  • 57:23

somewhere around the locks coming out puff got to come out May's got to come out to Benjamins Little Kim got to come

  • 57:29

and she's there yeah y'all just to isha's point skipped yeah yeah it went from that the

  • 57:36

little baby request Quest did tweet that a bunch of people had dropped out in the 11th hour or maybe hours before the

  • 57:42

broadcast he alluded to yeah Bridge there somewhere and I do like that LL when he was announcing this

  • 57:48

performance he made sure to get the smoke away from him early hey I think a

  • 57:55

lot of people should have been performing we'll get to that later now let's just focus on these these acts I

  • 58:03

did read originally like it was supposed to be a 23 minute performance and they

  • 58:08

after I guess final scaling it down or whatever it was 14 minutes so I don't

  • 58:14

know who they had that would have taken it from you know a couple people's left out Chris also alluded to there was a lot of uh who all is going to be there

  • 58:21

to you know certain people might not like other people that may have been performing and pulled out for that reason that was that was kind of

  • 58:27

understated in the tweets explaining what happened and I don't think you should have to explain himself at all by the way no got it off that put their

  • 58:34

performance busted performing and Missy coming out directly after him

  • 58:40

I need the verses now I need Busters

  • 58:45

and I never liked that verses but I wasn't big on it either until I saw both

  • 58:52

of them perform together I hate that verse show yo yeah it would have to just

  • 58:57

any videos two of the best performers ever by the way what I'm talking about and it will

  • 59:03

be even more of a show with all of that money discrepancy that they had now you got to get your money back especially if

  • 59:08

they leave now with uh anything puff and JD everything is a show now two cities Arenas it would have to be

  • 59:15

you're not getting that type of star power without maximizing the uh returns I would agree I just with with the

  • 59:23

hip-hop 50 thing I felt like even though I know hip-hop started in New York

  • 59:29

it felt like certain areas got shorted like even though like the South I think

  • 59:35

I think the Monumental ones like having uh Public Enemy amazing I

  • 59:42

think there should have been some type of two-law crew these are the people that took on the fights for hip-hop some

  • 59:47

type of NWA reference should have been there like I'm looking for that Scarface was Dope by the way Scarface was it was

  • 59:53

amazing you know he had a health scare recently so it was amazing even just seeing him walk out and perform real

  • 59:58

[ __ ] um Master P for Independence like the people that really changed

  • 1:00:06

the business of hip-hop yeah the scope T.I and G-Eazy would have been very nice

  • 1:00:11

Ross maybe one of them fill in that Gap though that we were talking about between the locks you could have had a

  • 1:00:16

TI you could have had Fab you could have had somebody that was relevant I don't want y'all to do that because I'm sure

  • 1:00:21

they've tried them what I really think is there should be a hip-hop 50 show done I think that one is

  • 1:00:30

coming that like done the correct way like an entire show with all aspects of hip-hop get a group of DJs and have a DJ

  • 1:00:37

set get some you know get the break dancing like really give up your graffiti everything get some battles

  • 1:00:42

happening a real hip hop show to really educate people on where it

  • 1:00:48

started and where we are now I told you I love hip-hop Museum [ __ ] I went to the other day that [ __ ] was all right bro Exposition it was um it was on Fifth

  • 1:00:56

Avenue Fifth Avenue 21st 20. it's like an exhibit yeah yeah she was high but um no I think they did their best with what

  • 1:01:03

they said the performance was eight minutes yeah can y'all stop hopping around no I'm talking about the time

  • 1:01:10

so 14 plus that yeah that's 23 minutes right I mean 22 minutes right there so

  • 1:01:16

to add more acts it really would have ate well I told them they did a great job putting all the hip-hop people that

  • 1:01:22

I wanted to see in like the second half of the show yeah because it certainly

  • 1:01:28

kept me at my TV on like that was the point it worked it worked because they know they didn't work if they don't normally work on me but I wasn't doing

  • 1:01:35

nothing else on this Sunday but I thought this award show was going to be over by 11. me too I picked back up I'm

  • 1:01:41

like wait a minute I'm I went on Google to just see who won uh album of the year and I'm like it don't show it yet I know

  • 1:01:49

this [ __ ] ain't still on we turned the TV back on I'm like oh this is still going like so yeah I get what you're saying in

  • 1:01:55

front of in terms of time y'all bring out a little baby I won't argue it um

  • 1:02:01

    Global real I'm arguing I don't give a [ __ ] what y'all say I'm arguing it I didn't she should have been it

  • 1:02:07

I get I'd too soon she killed it I loved it I love her love

  • 1:02:14

it I love it I love this song I love the movement yes I support it not right now

  • 1:02:21

little baby I totally understand and I'm with showing the evolution of hip-hop I

  • 1:02:27

wasn't mad at Uzi coming out like show where started to where it is not with the young lady that is four

  • 1:02:34

months into this five months into this now granted she does have a project out

  • 1:02:41

which would be one of my things that participation she has an

  • 1:02:47

album out who else she got a song that's hot you want you want you want to also be any any girl but the girl that just

  • 1:02:53

got here four months ago so I'm asking you who else any girl Lotto all right let's name it I'm saying any girl you're

  • 1:02:58

not listening to me lotto and Lotto Cardi's there any girl they're not cardi

  • 1:03:03

that's what I'm saying all right I get it never mulatto okay I know all the reasons why they

  • 1:03:09

that's why I don't want to do that part about who could have there's reasons why people didn't do it and wasn't there I

  • 1:03:15

get that yeah I don't want to sound like a hater don't put the girl that just got there five months ago

  • 1:03:21

it probably it also could have been another uh Hey so and so didn't want to do it back I understand that too but you showed me

  • 1:03:28

all these Legends who only got to do two to four bars of their greatest song If

  • 1:03:34

this young lady is not there right now then maybe I can get a little more to protect your neck maybe I can get a

  • 1:03:41

little more of one of the earlier classics that was me that was not my thought

  • 1:03:47

watching it I don't disagree by the way but I I also understand I get it yeah I get it I

  • 1:03:53

understand what they're up against love seeing uh and we're trying to cater to everybody pasta news come out for

  • 1:03:58

daylight that was fire yeah that was great that was fire they got their first single on uh off of two people are up

  • 1:04:03

now two yeah three feet high and Rising on streaming yeah every other commercial was aptitude

  • 1:04:11

and now they get a commercial out of me like I had to write it down to make sure what the [ __ ] with this but yeah it's

  • 1:04:17

HIV medicine um that's really creepy how they do that I don't like it it's a little weird

  • 1:04:23

and I mean I guess then I have here oh now the fans are on stage for the album of the Year award

  • 1:04:30

they brought the fans on stage for album of the year like come on yo come on this

  • 1:04:35

is everything it's Panda City there was still somehow a worse piece of content

  • 1:04:41

on the Grammys aside from the fans is that skit thing they did were the it was

  • 1:04:47

the head of the Grammy board or whatever and he had all these headlines the the music may be prescribed for something

  • 1:04:53

something at the end of it was like none of those headlines are real but oh yeah I was so tired the whole crowd was like

  • 1:04:59

I'll get the [ __ ] out of here like everyone was tight in the crowd like get this [ __ ] off we've been here for six

  • 1:05:04

hours you're dragging this they had they they did an entire break for the rest in

  • 1:05:10

peace segment uh this was the first time I remember it being a whole break it was a lot of

  • 1:05:18

people that was a lot I forgot to cover I'm like damn a lot of rappers singers uh bass players black people white

  • 1:05:26

people every a lot of people died and every time they do that I'd be like yo I forgot about a few of these people

  • 1:05:32

today that passed I love the new touch of the different people performing it's

  • 1:05:38

a during I like that you think that's going to keep going I hope not because I hope that all these

  • 1:05:44

people don't die like that right yeah yeah I hope that don't yeah quavo man I

  • 1:05:50

don't know how you stood up there and did that mean word meaning I don't know how you stood up there and did that being near at the scene that being your

  • 1:05:59

brother that being your group mate that you made history with I don't know how you did that sometimes I see some of you

  • 1:06:06

hip-hop dudes exhibit a strength that I would be afraid to have to carry and

  • 1:06:11

that was one of those moments for me especially to at the end when he held the chain up and walked toward the

  • 1:06:17

center of the stage I was [ __ ] up in my living room over where I was just opened up in the audience and we'll get

  • 1:06:23

to uh the backstage the backstage ship between him and offset because I don't know

  • 1:06:30

whose side I'm on in that well you might as well just tell me whose side we're on in that since we're

  • 1:06:36

here now I'm on offset side too I think I'm on offset side

  • 1:06:42

he should be there put it aside right this second yeah personal opinion yeah put it aside just

  • 1:06:48

right right now just for a second speculative of course but if I'm quavo

  • 1:06:53

and I really do have a beef with offset and I have a real beef with offsets and

  • 1:06:59

I know that we lost our brother but I still have a beef with you and this is my tribute song that I made and I wrote

  • 1:07:06

and you're not in it you tribute him on your time

  • 1:07:13

and my thing is I I see do we really know what the underlying Beast is over

  • 1:07:18

that's that's really what it is we don't know see but I don't think there's no beef strong enough to we don't know that

  • 1:07:23

for you I know I know I know that we don't know we're going to

  • 1:07:28

speculations that we heard but we don't you know what I'm saying so that's my thing like that

  • 1:07:34

because if it's what we heard over some girl [ __ ] of course we're gonna be like get past it your man just passed away

  • 1:07:39

yeah brother that's the first thing we gonna say being where we from I don't know about that if I loved her am I and

  • 1:07:45

you [ __ ] her no come on you can stick to the side while I go into my tribute not when somebody died like that no I

  • 1:07:51

agree with you that's like saying you never go to the funeral because you're going to see the person there you know what I'm saying there's people to do that I know and it's ridiculous yeah I

  • 1:07:58

wouldn't do it over that and we don't know what else transpired like I can understand what I'm saying it could have

  • 1:08:05

been other things and like you just don't know sure but if that was the main point for 30 seconds I feel like you can

  • 1:08:10

put it aside yeah personal opinion we'll rest in peace to take off and

  • 1:08:16

everyone else everybody else uh every time they show DJ twitch imma cry yeah

  • 1:08:22

it was it was nice yes organized yeah I was gonna um there was

  • 1:08:29

a you know it always happens every year people get upset as to who was left off but I do think gangstable should have

  • 1:08:36

been up there I'd like to see her up there too nothing yeah

  • 1:08:41

somebody dropped a ball with obey never been up there

  • 1:09:03

um your thoughts on the r b album of the year in the Meltdown

  • 1:09:08

it was a meltdown Chris Brown Chris Brown oh oh I also have here that's why they

  • 1:09:15

cancel Chris Brown after watching the Grammys I totally understood what happened with that other performance in

  • 1:09:21

Chris Brown there's no way they letting Chris Brown win or touch a stage with

  • 1:09:27

this new and their new initiatives their new agendas and their new advertisers

  • 1:09:32

they can't Paramount owns all of that [ __ ]

  • 1:09:38

different Awards same Awards Paramount owned it all so if Paramount is doing

  • 1:09:43

some big Pharma [ __ ] and they're getting it's like ESPN reporting on the Cowboys

  • 1:09:49

but supposedly at the last Awards it wasn't about him

  • 1:09:55

we'll tell you Michael allegedly that's lies we'll tell you whatever

  • 1:10:01

Chris Chris Brown I'm glad he pieced it up with Robert Glasper let me say that I

  • 1:10:06

was going to text Chris Brown and say yo you would really love Robert Glasper like if you just did some research on it

  • 1:10:13

the joke the jokes I saw were amazing like they were funny yeah they got off um but I love that Chris apologized to

  • 1:10:20

Robert glasberg I researched you yeah and I [ __ ] with you

  • 1:10:25

I knew you would [ __ ] with him I saw people getting mad that he posted that and I'm like no that's showing yo I

  • 1:10:31

[ __ ] up and I'm taking accountability and it's my attempt to correct I like that they never show us they always want

  • 1:10:37

to show us when somebody is wowing yeah they never want to show us when somebody is saying yo my bad I bugged out a

  • 1:10:42

little [ __ ] good I like that and again I'm glad they pieced it up because all of us would

  • 1:10:48

really love a Chris Brown and Robert Glasper song you know it would make sense you know what's funny is because

  • 1:10:53

you know the internet going internet they went and found a picture that Robert Glasper was at Chris Brown's 18th

  • 1:11:00

birthday party at the 40 40 in New York these [ __ ] is different it was like oh

  • 1:11:06

    this is different Detectives

  • 1:11:12

come on nah I just I just think that people need to have more um maturity

  • 1:11:18

like and again it's my people's butt you got to have more maturity than that you're supposed to research the [ __ ]

  • 1:11:24

before you took to the internet no I go no that's emotion at that point at that moment you're grown it's the same thing

  • 1:11:30

puff did it don't go like that the [ __ ] who did it I'm just saying some people get I don't know 90 times and and say

  • 1:11:35

some [ __ ] and then us we never go research the dude and when we say it

  • 1:11:41

we always saying it about somebody where the fans are gonna come back like yo you don't know that's such

  • 1:11:46

I remember I was in the studios and uh uh not Baseline d d

  • 1:11:52

ude doing a little computer over there I was trying to give me a Jadakiss verse I tell a story all the time I couldn't get one for years man I'm on Twitter I've

  • 1:11:59

seen two chains featuring Jadakiss I said wait what who

  • 1:12:05

    James

  • 1:12:14

I did that a bunch of times I've done that so many times with people it's all wrong it's all wrong and I was an adult

  • 1:12:21

every time it's emotional hate and that was somebody every time it was a real [ __ ] that I was saying it about if

  • 1:12:27

you're a hater call him Joe Budden [ __ ] that was so appropriate yeah anyway uh

  • 1:12:37

yeah I look forward to a Chris Brown uh Robert Glasper record at some point what

  • 1:12:42

else do I have here on Monday I think that's all my notes oh I have here uh I miss toxic masculinity yeah I do y'all

  • 1:12:50

got to bring we got to negotiate we got to bring back a little bit of toxic [ __ ] who we talk to yo

  • 1:12:58

don't worry the baby not coming foreign we're not bringing him to the

  • 1:13:05

president's board meeting yo we need a little bit of toxic masculinity back not

  • 1:13:10

a lot collaborate good luck what you mean

  • 1:13:15

elaborate good luck that's what I'm saying David Kendrick up there dressed like the negative that works at uh

  • 1:13:21

Office Depot and I love Kendrick look like he was going on the interview yeah I love

  • 1:13:26

Kendra he had a well-deserved win last last note I had album of the year that's right that's right I was talking all

  • 1:13:33

right we'll see who's still around a decade from now oh well you know how many Year Fam I'm just saying this quote

  • 1:13:39

still stands true no it don't damn a lot of [ __ ] that was still around in that class ain't here yes still them three

  • 1:13:46

put a name on them bullets I'm sick of that who ain't here Big Sean's not here

  • 1:13:51

that took a lot of balls for you to say look at you what you Big Sean just had a baby I don't care that Dad of the Year

  • 1:13:57

doing it to another dad all right so another dad my last my last um note on

  • 1:14:04

the Grammys was watching that hip-hop 50 tribute with your 29 year old girlfriend is hilarious

  • 1:14:11

because it was you know who's that there's a lot of that in the crowd too like what the [ __ ] they said that about

  • 1:14:17

big boy I was like wow that's tight you're not gonna lie to you

  • 1:14:24

bro yeah actually that was one get me out of

  • 1:14:30

here that's the thing about them yeah I know who the hell Jazzy Jazzy J was

  • 1:14:37

that was funny I mean Grandmaster Flash oh yes

  • 1:14:43

this big muscle guy no who's this with the Gucci jacket that's where I came he is highly healthy him yeah he said

  • 1:14:52

yeah I want to shout out old for that for for for his breath control throughout his entire

  • 1:14:59

career especially later in his career uh still on display at that table sitting

  • 1:15:05

there doing that entire verse seated that's why I sat down [ __ ] huh yeah that's why seated makes that very

  • 1:15:11

difficult to do and staying in this worse moving around I'm

  • 1:15:18

gonna sit right here I thought at some point he would stand up and move around and get in the [ __ ] but he did not

  • 1:15:24

billion in the morning he left after Rawson and Wayne Cali I don't like the

  • 1:15:30

fact Kelly got on his knees when Ross is performing I didn't like that

  • 1:15:35

God did I like it I thought it was like too much get up [ __ ]

  • 1:15:41

well you got to find something to do when it's your song and you're not on the song You Ain't a rapper and you know

  • 1:15:46

yeah on your knees it's the dark it's La it's content

  • 1:15:55

okay all right all right guys came out there with some wings

  • 1:16:03

way to doused itself in manure for the Grammys that [ __ ] would have just rubbed [ __ ] and flour all over his body

  • 1:16:11

smelled up the situation then they would have done anything for the Grammys if

  • 1:16:17

you like it if you like yourself on fire just for the Queens yeah and I'm gonna

  • 1:16:23

get at you I'm gonna violate you cause you got these all these people tattooed on you but webbing it is not tattooed on you

  • 1:16:35

yes he did stop trying to steal you still with the one piece [ __ ] said and you try to get

  • 1:16:41

good with them you beat me yeah yeah but I know who's deep I don't try to keep

  • 1:16:46

the [ __ ] too deep but I know they're not diss them though WWF

  • 1:17:10

you know how to move uh

  • 1:17:16

but yeah I think the whole performance was great what a way to close um uh what a verse

  • 1:17:22

still everything everything about that was dope I'm glad he did the whole verse I

  • 1:17:27

didn't think he was going to but they smoked that man I just Round of Applause for all parties involved like I said him

  • 1:17:34

sitting at that table next to those people made that verse come to life come a lot Come A Little More Alive for me

  • 1:17:40

still not the greatest whole verse by any stretch of the imagination which you still know but powerful verse at this

  • 1:17:46

juncture his career shout though shout to be honest what a faith Jay just looks like

  • 1:17:52

Unstoppable that now when I look at this even when Beyonce told him no he just

  • 1:17:59

everything is Swaggy but you're gonna suit yourself

  • 1:18:05

I gotta ask y'all last thing about the greatest oh where's post Malone

  • 1:18:11

that's a good question what do you mean I'm just where should he be that's what Grammy's you would

  • 1:18:16

think yeah you would think he is a Grammy act he had an album last year yeah that last album

  • 1:18:23

he was nominated for something too I think it was just it was just weird like a person of of his

  • 1:18:30

yeah you know what it's just weird let me I'm gonna say this and I'm gonna shut up before I get myself in any more

  • 1:18:36

trouble this is what it seemed like the Grammys do with the nominees now like they figure out who they want to win and then

  • 1:18:42

put a bunch of people that shouldn't beat that person that's what all the categories seem like

  • 1:18:48

to me now there was very few uh it's like two Awards like two or three competitive Awards you kind of knew the

  • 1:18:55

rest of them you're not saying it's a good point yeah yeah this is weird and just shout out to

  • 1:19:02

everybody involved with the Grammys yo I want to shout out Tori man rapper touring a journalist Tori he helped me

  • 1:19:07

out he's like the president of the New York wing or something like that he helped me navigate all that [ __ ] and without him I'd have been [ __ ] lost

  • 1:19:13

because they don't care about anybody unless you're Taylor Swift you look like Taylor Swift yeah

  • 1:19:24

that's valid Taylor Port Swift stop hating your sister oh look at Taylor Port Swift you told like her too that's

  • 1:19:31

true yeah yeah that's a little sister and you see him

  • 1:19:36

[Music] this little singing catalog to me all

  • 1:19:45

    right all right all right

  • 1:19:52

  • 1:22:42

they they put a bad signal with an art piece with me in it I didn't know what was going on you know the fans know how

  • 1:22:48

to get you up started yeah I got cursed out I got cursed out by you they don't know I got cursed out by you by not

  • 1:22:54

being Grammy ready we had a good conversation so you saw the Grammy I said no you said she started Grandma

  • 1:23:00

I was already pissed off I had to go look at [ __ ] no I was already pissed off then I saw a bat signal go up [ __ ] so

  • 1:23:07

    my [ __ ] can't fight you know I don't know I never heard of these [ __ ] I don't like that's cool I respect I don't

  • 1:23:13

like the confusion though I mean [ __ ] you know there's no confusion I can't beat none of y'all up because I have too

  • 1:23:20

much money and I understand that you would take me to court I don't care what you say on Twitter [ __ ] you would be

  • 1:23:27

the first one to the island and I gained nothing from beating you up and I have no reason to beat you up I don't even have no problem

  • 1:23:33

nobody you gotta let people talk you gotta let people talk let people talk man you gotta let people talk all right

  • 1:23:39

you better than me I don't even come on here and just shed a light to [ __ ] [ __ ] eating me it's anime season now

  • 1:23:45

[ __ ] get the light that they got and they flash like don't go but so far they can't see past that tree so they have

  • 1:23:51

the flash my flashlight it's like oh [ __ ] it's a whole street of this hope

  • 1:23:57

so they got flashlight in the daytime yeah leave them [ __ ] in my respect that that [ __ ] has been trying to ride

  • 1:24:03

off the coattails of black women for the last 12 years and it's still failing and I want to let people fail y'all [ __ ]

  • 1:24:10

that's failing The Jig Is up in 2023 will y'all just say something about Joe and I throw some [ __ ] out there to help

  • 1:24:17

you all not fail Y'all Gonna fail on your own account cause your [ __ ] failures and I'm not going to help you

  • 1:24:23

I don't like the confusion you know it ain't no confusion shout out to you know the the people the

  • 1:24:30

homies and I just like when people try to put things in your windows out there to cause confusion it's wrong it's not

  • 1:24:35

right especially when somebody's currently going through something I think all you podcasters is soft and I don't think none of y'all can fight I

  • 1:24:41

say what I said now do something about it okay all right what else we got

  • 1:24:49

you're done I mean I mean my man free free you know freeze your eye freeze I'm cool well man

  • 1:24:57

it's me and this has something we want to fight about what was it was just now you always want to fight it was two seconds it was a

  • 1:25:03

good thing ego oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah cause at the Grammys this is the thing about watching

  • 1:25:09

the Grammys and we're done talking about watching the red carpet but watching the red carpet watching the Grammys I see

  • 1:25:14

all of you [ __ ] flunkies that are dying for attention I'm starving it's a lot of y'all dying for attention out

  • 1:25:19

there and unfortunately for me I know all of the signs to notice when somebody is starving for attention or when

  • 1:25:26

somebody don't want to be bothered that part too but that part don't matter because when people are starving for

  • 1:25:32

attention they don't even care that the other person don't want to be bothered they just care about their photo op they

  • 1:25:38

picture or whatever the [ __ ] story they can tell but it's a mess y'all look nasty being there you saw it firsthand and it was it

  • 1:25:45

was nasty but then at the same time you saw all the real just uh genuine

  • 1:25:50

um exchanges of respect the real what you love which I love to see that we love you seeing Chuck D and iced tea and

  • 1:25:56

[ __ ] come to Benny I ran into Benny shout out to Benny you know people just coming up yo love what you're doing

  • 1:26:01

respect keep it moving oh on a quick topic you mentioned Benny uh what project do you think will be better

  • 1:26:08

Benny and hit boy or Pusha and drama

  • 1:26:13

I don't think it's to compare either those I knew you was going to say that well hit boys go to production drama's

  • 1:26:19

not producing I don't care that's what I'm just saying this it's it's about to answer the question drama is one of the

  • 1:26:25

best Executives that music has so his ear being there period along with hit boy's ear being their period I don't

  • 1:26:31

care about what he's doing their ears with those two rappers what project you expect to like more I'm gonna like push

  • 1:26:38

this project more got it okay can we move on yes uh do you oh wait we was talking about

  • 1:26:44

something oh I'm sorry no no you were talking about ego you guys are you know I said that so we we were having a

  • 1:26:50

little mini conversation off camera and I said that um off camera wow you brought it here

  • 1:26:56

again no being being where I'm from and being how I was raised you just don't do that

  • 1:27:03

like my ego and do what you just don't run up to a [ __ ] you don't know and be like hey hey Mr J I'm a big fan and

  • 1:27:10

    again y'all know I'm a fan of Jay-Z I don't hide that but if I saw Jay-Z and I've been in rooms with Jay-Z I'm not

  • 1:27:16

running over to him to get no picture or to get no handshake or to get no acknowledgment because you understand

  • 1:27:21

that he's still if it happens organically it happens organically like somebody's like yo this my man ish yo he

  • 1:27:27

here fan of your [ __ ] I'm like I appreciate what you're doing you know what I'm saying I'm not gonna run over there and be on no [ __ ] Fanboy girl

  • 1:27:34

[ __ ] what about the people that's where our argument is what about the people that don't if they say you don't get what's the saying about the shots if you

  • 1:27:40

don't take it you're missing you miss every shot you don't take yeah what about those that that live by that room I had no points them shots look stupid

  • 1:27:46

to me okay and you get very little return to me from those shots

  • 1:27:54

other people may get a lot of return from it yeah it got depend on what you

  • 1:27:59

what you want your return to be and they just want that picture with that person and they get it

  • 1:28:05

and they got exactly what they wanted yo dog well that's the on that's the uh uh especially today that's the running joke

  • 1:28:11

with Jason Lee is that [ __ ] uh he keep chasing behind all celebrities Rihanna and cardi and and there's online

  • 1:28:19

they have put all the videos together of celebrities running away from Jason Lee Jason I'm not trying to be funny you on

  • 1:28:26

the internet you see this [ __ ] uh but that's the running joke there even that being a joke for me is like nah you're

  • 1:28:33

not gonna have footage of me running behind it but all of these people do it everybody's attention started everybody's trying to monetize a moment

  • 1:28:39

have a moment collect a moment to share I get that but you say the reason that people don't do it is

  • 1:28:45

because of ego no I said my ego is is is too big or and you said it's

  • 1:28:51

not ego but I'm not even saying ego in a negative life I'm saying don't have to always be ego it could be respecting

  • 1:28:57

someone's face or respecting my own dignity so that I

  • 1:29:02

don't run over there and looking like a Dodo and set yourself up for failure there's a lot of times when you're in a room with these celebrities and they

  • 1:29:08

acknowledge that you respect their space they'll say what up to you if it's a small and that's the organisms they'll

  • 1:29:15

do that but a lot of people become overzealous and excited and want to get that moment yeah and a lot of times they

  • 1:29:20

shoot themselves in the foot hey look man let's keep it a buck and in the world we living in today perception is

  • 1:29:25

everything people are running around running to get a bunch of pictures with everybody to make themselves look a little bit more important so that they could

  • 1:29:31

probably turn that into something else over here with a lot of people are doing that right I've been making a business

  • 1:29:37

yeah he's right that's wrong I agree but is it wrong if it if because yes

  • 1:29:44

if you're asking me yeah flip I'm just asking the room yeah you said because you said that's wrong it is wrong it's

  • 1:29:51

wrong because a lot of backlash has happened a lot of times when they when they capture those moments they have somebody sneaking and recording and now

  • 1:29:57

the person when the footage comes to them they are pinpointing who brought that [ __ ] in there who a lot of people

  • 1:30:03

    I said a lot of [ __ ] happen from that yeah who is this [ __ ] yeah I seen a lot of [ __ ] I learned my lesson at a young

  • 1:30:08

age at 16 from webbing them like [ __ ] we don't do that don't play if I bring you in here shut up stay in the corner

  • 1:30:14

and I see my stand in the corner Nas will look around acknowledge oh what's up oh and they're laughing they'll break

  • 1:30:21

down that they're bad the barrier they'll break down their barrier but if you I see the [ __ ] have a [ __ ] in the

  • 1:30:27

corner go say with up to 50. and you'll record this and I seen fifth

  • 1:30:32

get mad about it find out who did it and all that and none of them [ __ ] was invited again I seen both when we went

  • 1:30:37

to Connecticut I seen both sides of that is it Cloud chasing

  • 1:30:44

Roddy Fox he talked he talks about the fox yeah he's talking about a whole different um aspect I'm talking about

  • 1:30:51

from my personal aspect I'm not talking about the ramifications from you know that I'm talking about fam me as a man I

  • 1:30:59

don't want to be running over to nobody calling it dick riding is it eagle or is

  • 1:31:04

it respecting the space we're both work hard it could be I have both I get what issues neither

  • 1:31:14

so I get where I come from and I get that this is not the landscape

  • 1:31:19

today and that's why I played that clip in the front of the Pod of uh Rick Rubin

  • 1:31:24

talking art or the artist wasn't really trying

  • 1:31:30

to be seen or known like the practices in the music business

  • 1:31:35

are backward S I think the money is different that's what makes it

  • 1:31:41

we're not gonna do that let's focus on what we're saying we had the art dudes come here and tell us about what some of

  • 1:31:47

this art is going for we just heard Eddie Murphy say with the original Good Times photo goes for we've been in the

  • 1:31:52

art now so I ain't gonna say that the money is so different and in art we buying these little shits with little

  • 1:31:59

cards say hey I ain't put 20 of them they ain't but 30 of these and art when you're dealing with real art the

  • 1:32:06

exclusive the exclusivity raises the value watch World hey they put three of these watches ten of these watches hold

  • 1:32:12

up stay right there look let me just ain't a lot of people got a bunch of a lot of regular people have a picture

  • 1:32:18

with hope right so now if you are in a vicinity and you go get that picture that there is

  • 1:32:24

    exclusivity there

  • 1:32:31

let me reply to that the artists in that situation is who

  • 1:32:36

in this situation and that's one you just named and the fan is running up to hold

  • 1:32:41

I'm talking about the fan as the artist them trying to create something them trying to create a brand or show people

  • 1:32:46

that I'm important well you can create art with anything you don't need to you don't need hope to create that I'm just

  • 1:32:52

using him as an example of exclusivity I know but he's one of the best artists of our time back to my original Point

  • 1:32:58

artists don't want to be seen to her to Isis HOV is not trying to jump in all of these pictures he ain't trying to be

  • 1:33:04

seen correct Isis Point yes exactly ice is saying Hove is not ever trying to be

  • 1:33:10

seen he on a yo I'm staying over here and everybody knows that cool now all of a sudden magically Joe Blow Pops up with

  • 1:33:17

a picture with Hove puts it on his Instagram that runs he's getting some [ __ ] off of that like

  • 1:33:24

he might go we've seen holes so you are a nobody

  • 1:33:36

that guy is not the artist to me in in his story he was that's why I didn't say nothing but that guide is just running

  • 1:33:42

around trying to take a picture of a bunch of people is not an artist an artist can create art out of just anything and whatever Hove ain't trying

  • 1:33:50

to be seen with none of you [ __ ] because he is artists he treats views and respects values art a certain way

  • 1:33:56

and even the celebrities that get a picture of hope you can't put it out like a real artist you got to get

  • 1:34:03

permission right you got to get approvals yes these people that's running around claiming and I'm not

  • 1:34:10

claiming content creators to be artists I'm talking about artists okay yes the two can be

  • 1:34:17

that's what we've done yes but I'm talking about artists artists don't be running around trying to just put their

  • 1:34:23

name and all the [ __ ] in the world [ __ ] might try to climb the Eiffel Tower and tag up up there and if you find it you find it this dope as Illness but all of

  • 1:34:30

this these [ __ ] that's running around claiming art can't name 20 artists that's not musicians you know why

  • 1:34:35

because the artist wasn't running around trying to plaster their [ __ ] name on everything to be seen this [ __ ] that

  • 1:34:40

they perpetuating is not the art World fundamentals and the real

  • 1:34:46

art world is bougie and would never allow that negative over there these [ __ ] is different bro again we

  • 1:34:53

we we got all but but to our argument which we agree on now it could be ego but it could be other things like when I

  • 1:34:59

watched the red carpet thing I don't want to go there because my anxiety people talking to me I don't want to

  • 1:35:05

talk to people I don't know what to say to all of you a lot of friends a lot of friends that show it's great for sure in

  • 1:35:12

high places yo I was watching this [ __ ] saying to myself yo if I was one of them

  • 1:35:18

dudes I would call the Grammys get the press pass all of us would go up there set up cameras and now we talking to

  • 1:35:24

everybody we're in the mix and people that love to mix would have loved to do that I'm never doing that I'm never

  • 1:35:31

doing that they've tried this right all the time summer jam this awards that award yo come up here just sit here and

  • 1:35:37

talk to a whole bunch of artists no the BET Awards had all you [ __ ] bum ass podcasters come out there and just sit

  • 1:35:43

with everybody in the world and put it all over your [ __ ] YouTube Pages for what didn't know who those people was

  • 1:35:49

serious because there's a business in the [ __ ] I'm not doing it you [ __ ] look nasty and disgusting on that red carpet doing that [ __ ] yeah I'm just not

  • 1:35:55

I'm just now I'm done I'm just into my ramp what up so there's a lot of people um vlogging they have said that you um in

  • 1:36:03

Norway um not the guy that was on my but they do you have any apologies let me get my shirt off please and I

  • 1:36:10

want to ask you guys this question as well even though this is our brother um do you feel like saying that you want

  • 1:36:16

people to fail the effect that your voice have and how much people that it seems to affect

  • 1:36:22

on the internet and the YouTube streets whether it's the dirty YouTube streets or the clean one if you put Joe Budden

  • 1:36:27

that comes up a lot over 50 videos of podcasters known and not known

  • 1:36:33

expression how hurt they are that you good hold on that you and Nori would say

  • 1:36:39

something like that do you feel better yo how can I add her to y'all panning on me how can I add her to my very truthful

  • 1:36:46

statement not only did I say what I say but I stand in and I'm dead serious I

  • 1:36:52

like watching most of you [ __ ] fail let's take it off Joe now statistics show that most of you are failing from

  • 1:36:58

2018 up until now uh podcast creation is down over half more than half from 2018

  • 1:37:06

to now that's not Joe making this up y'all [ __ ] are failing I like it as

  • 1:37:12

somebody that has dedicated his life to podcasting and I'm not leaving no time soon I like when all of y'all jump in

  • 1:37:18

the race bump your head a few times and run away because it ain't no money in it I don't feel guilt about it take your bum ass somewhere else and figure it out

  • 1:37:24

I'm here now to address what you saying Nori sat there and sent some shots at

  • 1:37:31

seemingly uh loudspeaker Network in combat Jack he didn't name names

  • 1:37:36

he said tax but he didn't name names anybody didn't know Joe know the respect

  • 1:37:42

I have a combat Jack of course me too he put me on his pocket you'll never you

  • 1:37:47

will never hear me utter one bad word about combat Japanese rest in peace

  • 1:37:54

truthfully that's what Nori was trying to do and I

  • 1:38:00

still don't know that because I'm not taking the internet's word for anything but if I thought that he was doing that I'd have stopped him in his tracks I

  • 1:38:06

know you would have I didn't know that neither but everybody got their own beef so whatever Nori was shooting at

  • 1:38:11

anonymously I didn't know I'm shooting gun shooting let me just say I'm not coming in here to explain nothing to you

  • 1:38:17

    [ __ ] that don't know [ __ ] about [ __ ] combat Jack rest in peace I love you you

  • 1:38:22

already know the people that know me know anybody don't suck my dick what can I just say this um comment and your

  • 1:38:28

balls in the gooch combat Jack you know was influenced influential to get me in the engine room but I got kicked out the

  • 1:38:34

first day of my podcast because I had a woman perform oral sex on my first episode and I got kicked out but he

  • 1:38:41

helped me he said yo you know what that was that little Hardware stirring stuff you got going on it won't work here

  • 1:38:47

because they do Nickelodeon and stuff in this room but he guided me somewhere else to go I've always had respect I do

  • 1:38:53

the black and white pictures because of him you know I mean so rest in peace so I didn't know that but I felt like they

  • 1:38:59

were trying to involve Joe in it and then using what he said

  • 1:39:06

    yeah well I do I do that's my expertise this is where I shine that [ __ ] don't

  • 1:39:12

shot me do you guys find it wrong that Joe said he you know

  • 1:39:18

um he's happy that people failed do you think that I'm gonna take it a step further I think a lot of people like watching people fail they just don't

  • 1:39:24

want to admit it I think a lot of people if it's something I think it's wrong though free

  • 1:39:30

do you think we're just saying a lot of people is affected by it a lot go look put up Joe but a lot of people like I can't believe this [ __ ] he's gonna be

  • 1:39:36

influential and I kind of like okay I see what you said let me come back for two seconds is anybody successful saying

  • 1:39:41

    it

  • 1:39:47

saying it failure what's up bad even trying to succeed over a decade it's not

  • 1:39:54

nice bro popping up with celebrity all types of failures not working what do you want me to say

  • 1:40:00

come on some rapper said to me this is like it's like uh real

  • 1:40:06

hip-hop conversation almost you know what I mean more people that are like really put their heart and soul into this [ __ ] and have succeeded in doing so

  • 1:40:13

or have failed and figured out different routes but they don't they're not the happiest

  • 1:40:18

with any Tom Dick and Harry grabbing a microphone and jumping in saying a bunch of dumb [ __ ] and trying to get on but

  • 1:40:23

how does it feel when you're going into a field and one of the forefathers in that field the podfather is saying that

  • 1:40:30

even though you guys came here I'm happy that you guys are failing a lot of people have signed up to Z Sounds to get

  • 1:40:36

a monthly payment to get these equipment a lot of people have done a lot of things and possibly went into debt debt

  • 1:40:42

trying these things and if they fail they want Joe to give more of an encouragement instead of saying yo I

  • 1:40:49

want you [ __ ] to fail I'm happy you [ __ ] fail it's it's a slap in their face and it could be a slap in the

  • 1:40:54

podcast World faces well to some to me I don't give a [ __ ]

  • 1:41:02

what's your question my question is do you feel like do you personally feel that Joe was wrong for

  • 1:41:08

saying that to the people that putting that message out do I personally think he was wrong being who

  • 1:41:13

    he is that's no that's who that [ __ ] is okay

  • 1:41:19

I see how it could be perceived it's wrong you asked me what I feel though yeah I see how it could be perceived as

  • 1:41:24

wrong that's how he feels yeah like his his personal opinion is his personal opinion so you can't judge somebody's

  • 1:41:30

personal opinion if I was a up and coming podcaster um would I feel like Joe saying he

  • 1:41:36

wanted me to fail is wrong if I didn't know him personally yeah I would take it as a shot it's like somebody in um an

  • 1:41:42

old school rapper saying they wish all right don't change my narrative don't say my narrative but there's nobody out

  • 1:41:47

there that I want to fail I don't go home and say I hope such and such fails such and such feel I don't I don't no I

  • 1:41:55

don't say that at all but when you [ __ ] start failing it's fun to watch do you see how on the podcast you guys

  • 1:42:02

especially you and you guys come together and preach the We are the world and uplift blacks yeah that's what I was

  • 1:42:08

going I got it okay because I was about to go to that I was about to say yo if I'm a new podcaster and I hit some bumps

  • 1:42:14

in the roads and I'm failing I don't think nobody should um be happy about somebody else's failure that's my

  • 1:42:20

potential opinion I mean that's my personal opinion I do think though that I didn't even take from that what you

  • 1:42:26

were saying I didn't either I thought you was talking about specific people let me ask you a question you've been in the house in a

  • 1:42:33

construction business like that's you for a couple years you're passionate in that I mean so if a [ __ ] off the street

  • 1:42:40

saw you getting money at this point not knowing what you've been through over the years to get to this point but saw

  • 1:42:47

you know some money in construction Jump Right In to kind of get a quick to hit a quick lick basically

  • 1:42:52

and it ain't working out for him would you well no you probably wouldn't but could you see someone feeling like

  • 1:42:59

hey yeah [ __ ] cause your heart wasn't in this you came in here for a quick lick yeah I don't want you you should you should fail in there more than half

  • 1:43:06

of the podcasters are are not in it because their heart is in it I don't feel bad it's the art it's the

  • 1:43:12

art versus the the I don't feel bad let's talk about it [ __ ] go back to

  • 1:43:18

radio huh [ __ ] radio you're asking me my opinion everybody um sorry ish do I think that got a

  • 1:43:24

little hype I don't think all doctors want to be doctors I don't think all doctors have an innate

  • 1:43:30

want to help people or help people that's a problem I don't think you know I think a lot of doctors go into

  • 1:43:35

medicine because it's lucrative financially and if they could do something else they would right so

  • 1:43:43

money is a motivator for everybody in the world no question so I me personally I'm just not rooting for nobody to fail

  • 1:43:51

those doctors who really went into this because they want to be able to help people and save lives they genuinely

  • 1:43:57

don't respect those who ain't really here for the right reasons quote unquote

  • 1:44:03

it's not a respect there because you just you'll let a [ __ ] die you you're just here to get your baby get

  • 1:44:08

your bag so the respect I have for you ain't the same I'm here to really help people with save people

  • 1:44:14

my heart and this is a passionate for me so those who are passionate about anything genuinely don't respect those

  • 1:44:20

who just coming in here for a quick look but how about this podcasting anywhere we as a people we tend to when something

  • 1:44:26

new comes a lot of people try to come in and storm and yeah if somebody [ __ ] up

  • 1:44:31

the business right so this could be a situation where we just we want you [ __ ] to go and that's it we want you

  • 1:44:37

    [ __ ] to go

  • 1:44:49

drinking whiskey and ride saying this will be the day that I'll die

  • 1:44:55

all right anything about um but don't know New Edition heartbreaks

  • 1:45:01

well it makes sense with this tattoo yeah you're right you keep hitting me I'm sorry yep I'm far to steer and the

  • 1:45:09

thing about failing is you got to figure out how not to true true if you really love this [ __ ] you're

  • 1:45:15

gonna figure it out yes if you don't have to or or hey look I told you we're

  • 1:45:20

about to have no guilt for the people are you gonna quit have not done so yeah I had a podcast and it was like no I'm

  • 1:45:26

cool yeah the [ __ ] he keeps talking about I'm shocked he's still going you should you should have been quick

  • 1:45:33

that's a long time feeling stop you're the only one in Charlemagne little flackies that didn't make it

  • 1:45:40

    [Laughter]

  • 1:45:45

that's my guy too but you start talking hey knock up and get bucked up yeah that's my energy now that's my

  • 1:45:52

little man behave yourself man behave yourself that was that's that was beyond no

  • 1:45:59

coattail [ __ ] could talk to me man I'm done I'm done with that this year do you know who you are none of you

  • 1:46:06

[ __ ] could talk to me don't play with me not him don't play with me this year none of you [ __ ] go tell [ __ ] I'm done I said what I said I said what I said

  • 1:46:13

that's what I said respect [ __ ] now what else we got

  • 1:46:20

uh uh let's see let's see let's see I'm not touching this uh Aaliyah R Kelly

  • 1:46:25

alleged daughter thing right now she don't look like Aaliyah R Kelly R Kelly's cousin R Kelly's nephew R

  • 1:46:30

Kelly's Uncle nobody else relatives she don't look like none of them but I'ma leave it alone because she

  • 1:46:36

might have some issues I don't know no let's see we got uh that interview all

  • 1:46:42

right let me get my opinion out the way so so y'all can get a clear Runway hey I'm not talking about it and y'all know

  • 1:46:49

what I think about it we don't yes they do okay the people I'm

  • 1:46:54

talking to know what I think about it that's all I got to say about you that's it

  • 1:46:59

I feel like as meteorologists you know a word that I've coined um not Media or meteorologist I feel

  • 1:47:07

like it's our duties to provide content a lot of people are mad at million dollar

  • 1:47:13

worth the game right but they're not mad at Connie Chung they're not mad at Barbara Walters

  • 1:47:20

they're not mad at all these um big anchors that were able to interview

  • 1:47:26

the mass murderers serial killers and get their story out there you're not mad

  • 1:47:32

at them no no why are they mad at uh wow this is different this is different though this is why is it different because it's close to the community I'm

  • 1:47:38

gonna tell you why it's different I'm gonna tell you why it's different particularly for this podcast why it's different because we had Adam 22 on here

  • 1:47:45

and we got on him for perpetuating [ __ ] between people for them

  • 1:47:51

I love wallow I don't really know too much about Gilly I don't watch podcasts but I follow

  • 1:47:57

wallow on Instagram everything I see positive I love the message he's sending to the youth I love what he stands for

  • 1:48:04

for them to have Jay Prince on there issuing threats

  • 1:48:13

to offset and put that out is is literally doing the same thing

  • 1:48:20

that we complain about I just don't I don't like it it was it was it was just bad taste he's gonna

  • 1:48:26

give me the talk I'm not trying to get you to talk you said you said what you had to say about it this is just solely my take on it this is only me I don't

  • 1:48:33

like comparing Jillian wallow up to Adam 22. I'm comparing that situation to that

  • 1:48:39

situation to what to the situation we talked to Adam about I hate to put my cape on right now

  • 1:48:44

but you can't kinda and I thought about this you can't kind of do that

  • 1:48:50

    them [ __ ] calls Gillian wallow okay who them [ __ ]

  • 1:48:55

dumb [ __ ] call Gillian they called Gillian wallow okay for them to come down to Houston

  • 1:49:02

and do that interview okay it's also not the first or second time that they have called Gillian wallow

  • 1:49:08

Gillian wallow or at least one of them seem to have a strong relationship there

  • 1:49:13

one and two both Gillian wallow or at least one of them will jump into the

  • 1:49:21

    street [ __ ] even if it's to mediated they're not

  • 1:49:27

bystanders watching that's true to instigate that's true that that just run

  • 1:49:32

away from the scene and they're not involved anymore Julian wallow being there that's true it's no different than

  • 1:49:37

Gillian wallow being able around the real [ __ ] at the uh Javonte fight that's true it's no different to me I

  • 1:49:43

agree I'm okay but I'm saying now your point can stand but yeah because in comparison one or two I wasn't agreeing

  • 1:49:51

with it I agree with him now because I agree with Adam it's not a party I'm not saying that you will disappear and he

  • 1:49:57

can't yes whatever they have to face and they know

  • 1:50:04

that and they they stepping in it yeah I'm with you there I just I'm just

  • 1:50:09

saying you don't like the three part I I didn't like putting that out I don't like I don't like

  • 1:50:14

with that huge platform airing that threat so I've watched Inside Edition interview

  • 1:50:22

a lot of serial killers did we feel the same way they interviewed Jeffrey Dahmer the interview

  • 1:50:29

and they said slick [ __ ] on they said the white people no disrespect said slick [ __ ] on there Show No Remorse to

  • 1:50:37

the families that could have hurt the families and the generations after I'm gonna answer so now because we're black

  • 1:50:43

hold on hold on it's not a black white thing for me are we pick are we picking to choosing you want to answer me again if I want you to come yeah

  • 1:50:50

so that's my thing I'm not I'm not taking a side I just want to address what you saying okay Inside Edition

  • 1:50:56

you're gonna address that yes okay what I'm saying is this us as black people we have to stop

  • 1:51:03

justifying our actions based off the actions of white people I don't give a [ __ ] what they do I'm not going to say

  • 1:51:08

yo when the white man do it it's cool so we could do it too [ __ ] them I don't care what they do my moral rules is my

  • 1:51:14

morals I don't give a [ __ ] if a black person do it a Chinese person do it an Australian person do it if I look at it

  • 1:51:19

it's wrong it's wrong I'm not gonna say yo it's cool for me to do because those other people did it and we do that too

  • 1:51:24

much I don't give a [ __ ] about them an inside edition oh who gives a [ __ ] about that but we want the equal we want equal

  • 1:51:30

I don't want nothing oh bro I'm talking about what I stand on is right and wrong if somebody else did it and it's wrong I

  • 1:51:37

don't say yo they did it and it was cool so now imma go do it but we say that because we don't ridicule the others

  • 1:51:43

that's doing it where we from we quick to ridicule our own their meteorologists they're doing their job no again I'm

  • 1:51:51

just talking to the people that was that were mad at them yeah I wasn't taking a stand if the prince want to go up there and talk they just getting the outlet

  • 1:51:57

and talk true go ahead you have an outlet to talk because everybody else let everybody else flip we sit here

  • 1:52:02

we've had people we'll sit here and you've been present for one where we sat here and then stopped and said yo we're

  • 1:52:09

not putting that up we we keep but his you have that you have that

  • 1:52:14

luxury his reservation is different from others you just because you decide to do

  • 1:52:19

it that doesn't mean it applies to everyone else it's a job at the end of the day this is a job to to interview

  • 1:52:26

and put out the message that what's it called an interviewee who's the person that's being interviewed yes wants to

  • 1:52:33

put out it's okay I'll give you a platform to talk ahead this is still your platform at the end of the day it's

  • 1:52:39

still you you still have final control over what goes out on your platform that's exactly what I'm quiet about it

  • 1:52:44

so everybody gets to run their platform how they want to run it so like I don't again I don't want nobody to take this

  • 1:52:49

the wrong way like I'm shooting at them because I'm not I just disagree with that part of it I'm cool hey if the

  • 1:52:55

prince family want to get on there and get their [ __ ] off like like I said they've called a couple times to try to

  • 1:53:00

get the interview it's clear they wanted to go there for the interview so this is where we want to get our

  • 1:53:06

message out we got something we want to say let's put it out cool it's not like they were hyping them

  • 1:53:11

neither they just let them talk yeah talk I'm I just I understand because that

  • 1:53:17

then you see offset had to respond to that I understand now what was the first thing you said we got to get John Gotti

  • 1:53:23

now that's the part I was sick about and you want to talk about something that made me sick because I'm not talking about that interview or Gillian wall or

  • 1:53:29

everybody run your shower you want to run it none of my business but for offset to have to leave the

  • 1:53:34

Grammys where his wife had 70 outfit changes all look spectacular she did where he just

  • 1:53:41

had to fight with his brother member and brother that he changed music history with backstage

  • 1:53:48

for that for him to have to leave that event and this be the very first thing that he has to address on social media

  • 1:53:56

is sick to me I get that he had to do it

  • 1:54:01

but that being the focus after you just left this star-studded event where you're celebrated that that just just

  • 1:54:07

seemed like seemed a little backwards because all the [ __ ] that be beefing

  • 1:54:12

and having something to say is rich yo bigger than that yo dog I'm still might be in morning because my brother's

  • 1:54:19

dead damn and on top of that the brother that I wasn't speaking to at the time of his passing and we were going through

  • 1:54:24

whatever we were going through so I'm still mentally and emotionally [ __ ] up and now add on to that that the whole

  • 1:54:30

situation at the Grammy's little argument whatever you want to call it with him occurred because of a tribute to our

  • 1:54:39

brother that I couldn't be a part of so I mean I'm not even in the right space right now deal with any of this he was

  • 1:54:45

breathe you could tell like he just a lot going on with him that's what I'm saying like I just I I just don't like it that's all I don't like I do I don't

  • 1:54:52

like him I don't like it and I'm only everybody else like you like Joe said everybody can run it how they want we

  • 1:54:59

come in here we just speak on things a lot of people watch that interview I don't like it it did of course a million

  • 1:55:05

    views all right over everything

  • 1:55:11

Coe VOE views true yo what the [ __ ] no that's really I

  • 1:55:19

don't do letters stop trying to remix [ __ ] bro it is beautiful it's views of everything

  • 1:55:24

I'm not here to judge anybody yeah again

  • 1:55:31

    I'm not that's your [ __ ] I just didn't like that part there's a lot of people in like it it

  • 1:55:37

was you know um you the the main focus of that was checking

  • 1:55:43

in and we were talking about the whole checking in thing I don't know what the main focus is because I didn't okay I watched I watched it but I'm telling you

  • 1:55:49

so we're not going to go into their interview about checking in but I want to know what do you feel because you was defining checking into me and then we

  • 1:55:55

stopped and said we're going to say I didn't Define it I asked you if you attempted to no I asked you if you knew what it what where it originated from

  • 1:56:02

and you were about to attempt to find it Joe I was looking for a definition from you oh so you were baiting me into into

  • 1:56:09

Define it no because when people have the check-in conversation everybody's understanding of what checking in means

  • 1:56:14

is different even a phrase is can you tell me what yours is please

  • 1:56:20

what way I think the origin of it is from here the next step what does checking into you mean

  • 1:56:26

uh it means exactly what it says it means checking in with

  • 1:56:33

whatever group persons click conglomerate that may be

  • 1:56:38

right you know what this is how I explain it it's state taxes

  • 1:56:43

that's what it is checking in estate taxes I don't live in L.A

  • 1:56:49

but I've done work in LA and at the end of the year

  • 1:56:54

La sends a note to my house that tells me how much money I order because

  • 1:57:00

I worked in LA that's the government the street people that are powerful

  • 1:57:06

enough to control movement in their Town I.E big you trick trick whoever these

  • 1:57:13

names are right when trick tricks say I don't like how y'all are treating

  • 1:57:19

Detroit so now you can no longer get money in the city of Detroit unless you check in

  • 1:57:25

it's not saying I'm I'm tougher and will kill everybody that don't they come to Detroit and don't check in but it's

  • 1:57:33

capital and fine it's the capital and finance thing all of y'all artists come to these cities and take take take and

  • 1:57:39

make money all year long without giving back so to avoid the streets getting it

  • 1:57:44

from you how they want to get it from you I'll fix all that but there's a feat

  • 1:57:50

attached that's how I view it I don't think that there's a whole bunch of people on the list that can even

  • 1:57:56

control things the way that the check-in people should be able to control things I think it's gotten a little loose

  • 1:58:02

loosey-goosey today I think a lot of ego and machismo and other things are

  • 1:58:07

involved today but at the bare root of it it's just a get money in the town thing

  • 1:58:13

because they're not you know the whole checking thing they're not telling Taylor Swift to check in right I was

  • 1:58:18

    just about to touch myself

  • 1:58:24

stop let's address these things so there's no confusion Taylor Swift is also not getting money in the town the

  • 1:58:31

way that the rappers are getting money into town she's getting more she's not getting it in the way that the rappers

  • 1:58:37

are getting it in the channel explain yeah please Taylor Swift is doing corporate events yeah she's doing

  • 1:58:43

corporate [ __ ] she's doing in the rappers are landing in your airport rappers are in your Club in your strip

  • 1:58:51

club to promote in your Webster yeah we're moving rappers have to move Taylor Swift is not doing that so I think

  • 1:58:57

that's a false parallel okay so if she every Entertainer is getting money in every town but it's how you getting your money

  • 1:59:03

the Bloods encrypts to my knowledge can't affect Taylor Swift's corporate Dollar in any town they certainly can

  • 1:59:09

affect the rest of you [ __ ] so what is your what do you mean I'm just saying it's [ __ ] [ __ ] though but

  • 1:59:17

I mean you can name it what you want we want to have an understanding of where it comes from I mean I've been around I

  • 1:59:23

respect it a little bit I do I do enough for nothing I mean if you want to take it there I'm pretty sure that Frank Sinatra and the people that were doing

  • 1:59:29

business with like Mafia people back oh you had to check in yeah I'm saying that's good Parks that's true

  • 1:59:35

    I'm pretty sure they call a [ __ ] [ __ ] I'm not looking at it in all the shows I

  • 1:59:40

watch where it ain't no [ __ ] the same thing is going on hey you can't come get money over here without talking to somebody what's going on that's true

  • 1:59:46

Vegas it did happen you're right illegal money you're right Parks illegal money come get illegal money over here you

  • 1:59:52

can't come hustle on this block without a without a pass you can't come come over here and set up your gambling ring

  • 1:59:58

without a pass you can't come over here and set your prostitution [ __ ] up without a pass these are legal tax

  • 2:00:04

paying citizens that are coming through a venue I don't give a [ __ ] let's say you go to Chicago right and I'm putting

  • 2:00:11

money in to strip people pockets in Chicago unpacking the club for the promoter in Chicago everybody is making

  • 2:00:16

money as well as myself it's just not you coming over here taking I don't like the analogy that you said when [ __ ] is

  • 2:00:22

taken no we doing business so if I promoter books me to go to Philly and do

  • 2:00:27

a show in Philly I made that promoter some money I made whomever had their hands in that pot some money so for me

  • 2:00:33

to have to go but that's not the city what is it that's not the city it's not the city but whatever the promoters in

  • 2:00:39

that respective City are making money if I go to a store don't even be from this city We're Not Gonna Keep moving I'm just

  • 2:00:46

saying the city of Philly whatever up any City that we we go to

  • 2:00:52

all right so have a problem with the promoter if the promoter is not from that City and they come in and they taking money

  • 2:00:58

from that particular City have a problem with the promoter don't deter the artist that is coming to the city to to bring

  • 2:01:04

some Joy to the city I disagree with that we can stay on the problem is

  • 2:01:10

because it's not have a problem with a promoter like I'm not saying that this side has a problem with anybody you said

  • 2:01:18

to promote check insides don't have a problem with nobody they do have a problem not in my story so let me finish

  • 2:01:23

okay cool artist a comes to Connecticut

  • 2:01:30

every other week to get money this Connecticut artists that don't

  • 2:01:37

perform in Connecticut the way that artist a performs in Connecticut it's out of town promoters

  • 2:01:44

coming it's not the town ain't eating from this and that's none of checking people's business

  • 2:01:50

what check-in people are saying is hey the streets see that and the streets are going to take care of that

  • 2:01:55

now if you want to avoid that holla at us and we can assist them I'm

  • 2:02:03

not saying that those people have a problem with artists a man it's extortion a friendly experience I don't

  • 2:02:09

think it's a story a lot of them hold on you just said the streets want

  • 2:02:16

to take care of that and if you don't want to get taken care of friendly extortions it's not also always a a financial

  • 2:02:24

exchange that has to happen it's just a gill totally different I've seen them to

  • 2:02:30

what parts are saying something totally different then that's cool yo I'm over here yo you touched down in my

  • 2:02:37

city right it's wild out here I got the city on smash or even if I

  • 2:02:43

don't have the city on Smash I'm respected in this respective City cool

  • 2:02:48

if I put one of my peoples with you you floating you understand what I'm saying so cool I

  • 2:02:55

might need a favor when I come to your city or I might have a little artist that I need to put on your [ __ ] when you say your dog you come into my city you

  • 2:03:02

gonna perform you need to give me a financial payment that is extortion it is no different than the mafia [ __ ]

  • 2:03:08

that had this block and they went up and they collected money from Mr Johnson and then they collected money from Ms

  • 2:03:13

Johnson and they collect to keep you safe and and they beat up all the [ __ ] that's extortion yeah it's what the

  • 2:03:20

mafia [ __ ] have been doing for years yo you have a flower shop you got a book you got a butcher shop you got a

  • 2:03:26

cleaners I'm taking money from every single person City trying to get money so I mean I respect his opinion on this

  • 2:03:32

but I couldn't disagree more with y'all friendly extortions it is what you say What's your opinion hey I'm not telling

  • 2:03:37

you all the name it's something different name it whatever you want but if you want to keep coming to this city

  • 2:03:42

to cost the door with those chains and working and [ __ ] these girls

  • 2:03:49

these clubs you got to pay y'all could call it I'm not fighting

  • 2:03:57

two [ __ ] that you love and respect yes right yes I've been with them and we have traveled somewhere and they have

  • 2:04:04

went to go have me real [ __ ] meetings I don't think nobody was extorting weapon did he no that that's that's

  • 2:04:09

different and you know nobody was extraordinating different that's different but there was real [ __ ] meeting but they don't have to be had

  • 2:04:16

but it don't always end up in a financial transaction well that's when you don't have to respect that a weapon

  • 2:04:21

or web or an idiot if there's no respect I didn't grow up but you I don't know you I don't know none of them I don't

  • 2:04:28

really care about your well-being but you're gonna pay all right he's good for these three days to DC yeah yeah

  • 2:04:33

you know a lot of them what's the definition of extortion it's a transaction which is what protect you or

  • 2:04:40

extortion is what I say when I was getting robbed hey Robbie I handed it to him

  • 2:04:45

there is no way stop there's no extortion here I understand

  • 2:04:59

[Music] yeah nobody told me that no wait wait

  • 2:05:04

don't look at me [ __ ] don't deviate them all right look at both of y'all it's the same [ __ ] oh man United States

  • 2:05:10

ain't that ill you can't do that don't joke all right let me make this [ __ ] no no I don't want

  • 2:05:16

him to look apart I want him to stay at me you didn't have to convince me that the town was foul you didn't coerce me

  • 2:05:23

into nothing my understanding is [ __ ] is Twisted out here I want to move the way I normally move

  • 2:05:30

sure I'm paying if you could stop that true true how is that that person

  • 2:05:36

extorting me I want you to stop it

  • 2:05:46

the practice of obtaining something especially money through force or threats

  • 2:05:52

that's don't apply to what I just said that's right it don't have to be a

  • 2:05:57

verbal threat the threat Also may not be coming from the person that you're a lot of those guys are setting up the robberies sometimes

  • 2:06:04

it's a game plan you're setting up the robbery though you're not doing it setting up the robbery what we I'm

  • 2:06:10

agreeing with you oh yo what do you mean it's an implied threat yes if you do not

  • 2:06:16

check in some bad [ __ ] they know everything have a long night no you you're on your own hey if you don't

  • 2:06:22

check on you on your own right and when they set it up that's not the case for everybody number

  • 2:06:28

one you would have to assume if you're talking to some [ __ ] that could Dead all situations in the town then you

  • 2:06:35

talking to some [ __ ] that can start a situation in the town we agree with you

  • 2:06:47

whether you agree with it whether you accept it that's what it's just like when certain artists if I'm talking to

  • 2:06:53

somebody and I know that they could get [ __ ] lit out here I know that on my own how is that them extorting me to me it's

  • 2:07:00

Black Market Insurance not extortion with parks

  • 2:07:06

it is you see you've seen a lot of times what

  • 2:07:12

has happened to the [ __ ] that don't have that black market Insurance that's a fact so is it even worth it

  • 2:07:30

[Music] nobody's threatening me nobody is is applying Force I'm saying yo if you're

  • 2:07:37

not here I know when I walk outside it's on but that has happened to me in every

  • 2:07:43

city across America Hey Joe [ __ ] up no [ __ ] you shut up

  • 2:07:52

this ain't one city we talk about it's not two or three cities everywhere it's everywhere yeah it's everywhere it ain't

  • 2:07:59

    like it's just the [ __ ] saying yeah dog and you calling a [ __ ] [ __ ] I think the

  • 2:08:04

[ __ ] got it from somewhere but that's the talk for somewhere else some more [ __ ]

  • 2:08:10

[ __ ] all right it was some Italian are you saying goodbye to us or do you have something to add so you went and asked

  • 2:08:18

why don't the bigger artist right the white artists have any type of extortion that's going on can you come to Park's

  • 2:08:23

microphone please if you're gonna be long-winded I didn't say that but yeah

  • 2:08:32

listen what I'm addressing is that um you guys are talking about this being

  • 2:08:37

a black thing A hip-hop thing but it's not true actually where it comes from is live Nations where they're extorting the

  • 2:08:44

biggest artists in the world put your tickets up for sale at a certain price then they have Bots going cleaning up

  • 2:08:50

the tickets and then reselling them at 100x you don't get your ass out that door

  • 2:08:56

we're talking about somebody being let us continue

  • 2:09:03

and get out of here we're talking about people being threatened by bodily harm to get money even though that's true

  • 2:09:11

he's having a different argument Ian's point is there's extortion happening all

  • 2:09:16

around the industry in different absolutely that's what it is argument absolutely and I agree with that we're talking about this yeah

  • 2:09:25

like shirts you might get blood and that's what

  • 2:09:30

insurance was that's what extortion was yo this is your insurance Miss Johnson that owns this question you're paying

  • 2:09:36

your insurance to nobody I'm sure

  • 2:09:41

hold on but if you don't pay your insurance something's gonna happen to you for me exactly the same person that

  • 2:09:48

you're paying exactly I'm gonna make sure that if you don't pay Razzle Dazzle that's what it's called

  • 2:09:54

we're having this conversation right and we're not talking about I want to

  • 2:10:00

talk about the people that go to City to City making the money and don't check it at all oh we see 50.

  • 2:10:07

I want to talk about them people I'm not talking about 50 because 50 is from a from a certain cloth yeah so what does that mean though what does that mean

  • 2:10:13

from a southern Club close he's not checking in so what does that mean he's from us so automatically because he's he's real he's respected two things he's

  • 2:10:21

respected okay it's two things one oh there we go

  • 2:10:26

50 might have certain relationships with some bro [ __ ] but also when I come out of town

  • 2:10:31

if y'all want to carry it this way I might be prepared to go that way yeah so now you gotta weigh your options when

  • 2:10:38

you come press the right [ __ ] you gotta weigh your options that's why I don't want to talk about 50 he's an anomaly got it okay I'd never talk about 50

  • 2:10:44

because he's an anomaly correct none of that should apply I'm talking about of me I'm talking about a 21 Savage I'm

  • 2:10:52

talking about some of the men that I'm not saying 21 Savage is not like that but in speaking to him I know how he

  • 2:10:58

moves when he travels City to city which is I'm low the same thing I do I'm not checking in

  • 2:11:03

with nobody not because I'm super tough but I don't get but so much money in early cities number one I don't get it

  • 2:11:09

in the same ways I used to get it to the Taylor Swift point and I'm alone or with

  • 2:11:15

my two or three people and I'm moving nobody know I'm here if you catch me you caught me can I can I respond to you

  • 2:11:21

with something we were in Chicago remember the phone call I made in Chicago because I remember a joke you

  • 2:11:27

made about how the person's name was saved in my phone he was like damn you trying to get indicted call

  • 2:11:33

Yo Dogs coming to your hood just sometimes a check-in is literally just you know my

  • 2:11:39

little dogs I'm gonna be around that's it hit my man dude I do that sometimes yeah

  • 2:11:45

that's what I said check all checking it is what you doing I'm gonna take you to lunch [ __ ] I ain't see you in a minute

  • 2:11:51

so thanks but listen we did the show in Chicago or Juliet or something like that

  • 2:11:56

we were leaving we stopped at a uh some little Chicken Shack or something my

  • 2:12:01

phone rang Yo Dogs y'all such and such and such yeah yo leave a body there we left

  • 2:12:09

but that's what the that is a little bit right there that's the check-in y'all don't even know yo yo come on be out of

  • 2:12:15

here dude called me Yo Dogs y'all at such and such now you saying we were

  • 2:12:20

moving low how many of us was it seven moving low but yeah

  • 2:12:27

but I might not have been that but it wasn't moving around

  • 2:12:32

in that conversation like when you're moving a certain way like you can make those calls and do that like I'm I'm not

  • 2:12:40

in this conversation that we haven't like I'm just arguing it but now see the the and also Joe

  • 2:12:47

the artist that we're talking about in these conversations tend to want to be Street they want to be in certain spots

  • 2:12:54

I'm going to the locals like yo I think it was uh

  • 2:12:59

I think it was Dirk who said something like Meek wanted me to take him to old block

  • 2:13:04

and he was like dog I don't even go to old block like that like certain artists and that's again

  • 2:13:10

please don't take that the wrong way but certain artists have this tie to the trenches to the streets to the to the

  • 2:13:15

bottom where when I go there I want to go to these spots I remember out when I was managing the

  • 2:13:21

person that you made the joke about we were also in Chicago and somebody on Twitter I took a picture outside the

  • 2:13:27

hotel just we was downtown and he's like nah yo come to the South side though that's the real Chicago I said no

  • 2:13:34

what am I going down there when I was young my man used to tell me some [ __ ] and he was like yo like because you know in our

  • 2:13:40

neighborhoods everybody go to everybody blocks so you might be from Queen Street from Jersey City we from Newark right and my man used to be like yo I don't

  • 2:13:46

stand on nobody else's block like with some illegal [ __ ] is going on I might stop through and say hi but I'm

  • 2:13:53

not hanging out talking to nobody you know somebody might have a stash in that Fender right there somebody might have

  • 2:13:59

some a bag that you think is a bag and it's 50 Clips in that bag you know what I'm saying so when you go to other

  • 2:14:05

[ __ ] neighborhoods I think that um you gotta move accordingly so I'm not mad at the check-in in that respect but

  • 2:14:13

the other check-in I'm not mad at either one let me say that I'm not mad at either one if you gotta move and you gotta pay a tax that's like security

  • 2:14:19

yeah but call me what it is though but it is still extortional yeah I mean I go to tax

  • 2:14:32

but I would a lot of times like shout out to Trav you know when Trav when we

  • 2:14:37

go to Jamaica we would like to go into the Gully we like to go into the neighborhood and it shows something it leaves a uh what does it leave to the

  • 2:14:44

people it makes the people feel good so you may go out there and give some money to the people and just show love the

  • 2:14:49

artists or the [ __ ] that's bring you there they're not requiring that but it's just an understanding like [ __ ]

  • 2:14:54

you in the hood because if we leave you you can get cut or tropical you can have a problem

  • 2:15:00

[Music] those lonely roads so you go out there and it's love they show you a lot of

  • 2:15:05

love they feed you so that's different kind of the same thing oh yeah I'm

  • 2:15:11

trying to see where you're going it's the same exact thing but but one day and I don't think that that's extortion one

  • 2:15:17

is not they're not jewelry what if the other one is not obligatory either and you keep trying to make it that and I

  • 2:15:23

keep responding saying it's voluntary it's voluntarily being done it's not obligatory but they're setting and and

  • 2:15:30

let's say I submit to what you're saying if it is obligatory certain places and that part it can be a secret or not

  • 2:15:37

established but it don't have to be obligatory let me take but let me say this in closing

  • 2:15:43

yeah I just want to say this though I do agree with everybody you have to call it what it is

  • 2:15:49

um and like I said the islands and stuff it is different but it's the same what's the same so ding dong bring me around or

  • 2:15:55

or I come to Jersey and meet you you bring me around and I'm able to but you're not

  • 2:16:01

gonna try me a man but I'm able to get around somewhere I bark on [ __ ] for even bringing me around somewhere that I

  • 2:16:07

think is one of them don't play with me like that and that's what I have a little more respect some

  • 2:16:13

other artists literally want to be around here but those are the ones that

  • 2:16:18

have to check in y'all [ __ ] have a blast that's what you're talking to me that's the other reason I was never to check and do because I know my mouth I

  • 2:16:26

piss people off by accident I would end up pissing off the [ __ ] I paid to keep [ __ ] off me it's true

  • 2:16:33

it will kill me by mistake yeah I offend people without knowing I'm offending

  • 2:16:39

them okay I know you're better with how I say things we'll talk about that another time like I look at what I'm

  • 2:16:44

doing like and then they shoot me see gotta be careful that's what nitty told me yes you are nitty said that you're

  • 2:16:50
