  • 5:00

something but listen do you know that I hate them for doing it I'm here my energy came in here in 10 it's just I

  • 5:06

think it's a little hate relationship love

ah don't do that stop stop it's fool yo I bought the big gun with me today so

  • 5:45

I'm cool yeah I'm ready to play today too come on let's have a good time let me find some inspiration here oh I got

  • 5:51

asked to give a speech at Bill Gates's Summit the slot that they had given me was between Bill Gates and Warren

  • 5:57

Buffett and it was the only speech that anyone was giving it was a summit of Fortune 100 CEO so you can imagine who

  • 6:03

was in the room and I remember them saying you know this is a really hard speaking slot rashma because most people are really intimidated because Bill and

  • 6:10

Warren are sitting in the front row and it can be a little scary and I remember as I was sitting there in the backstage

  • 6:15

they had given me 10 minutes to speak I remember thinking man I wish they gave me 12 because I really had some more

  • 6:22

stuff to say and then I remember thinking how when I used to be that girl and I

  • 6:27

remember thinking yeah it's because I've been in every single power of a room I've met every single CEO every president every prime minister and when

  • 6:33

I meet them I'm like you you run what circles around and I realized that it's

  • 6:42

never been about whether we're qualified whether we're prepared whether we're ready that we've really never really

  • 6:47

dissected all of the undeserved unearned privilege that so many people have and

  • 6:53

that we have literally bought and been fed basically this propaganda that we're not good enough that we're not smart

  • 7:00

enough that we don't belong and the real resistance in this moment saying no more

  • 7:05

I'm not reading those books I'm not taking those courses I'm not taking that class I'm not buying into that [ __ ]

  • 7:12

you you are the sun in the room I appreciate that yes you are the sun in the room yeah oh you traveling

  • 17:29

  • 17:36

uh you do look nice all of y'all look nice am I feeling good feeling great man feeling great good good we can start

  • 17:41

anywhere y'all want to start or anywhere y'all want do the music yeah let's do it

  • 17:46

    what came out um

  • 17:52

oh yeah come on let's do it I'm ready I'm ready I did that I got myself yeah me pushed it back two weeks why

  • 17:59

    I don't know why it's always simple clearance that's

  • 18:05

right well yeah he did drop the single I like angel I love it I love it I love it love it

  • 18:11

paints him in a new light you know I mean Derek is you know we can see he's trying to make the transition

  • 18:16

hey yo young boy you the homie but the interview you should he should have went that direction where Dirk is going

  • 18:22

instead of that interview where he's talking kind of creepy like Batman in the background but I like where Dirk is going I like it a lot listen to it like

  • 18:29

16 times yeah I ran it back quite a few times uh cold all right I don't need my dirt Cape yet okay no no not yet all

  • 18:36

right cold did go crazy he did what Dirk did on the record too I like the hook with

  • 18:41

the kids I like just as a great positive song the pop producer yeah Dr Luke this

  • 18:47

this might well I'm gonna say Mike this should work I think it's gonna work yeah right I would be surprised if it didn't

  • 18:53

work now I'm going to the black ball if they went out and spent the money on the Dr Luke beat they're gonna make it work

  • 18:59

transitioning watching it in real time is something that always have people eyes glued to the screen you know I mean

  • 19:06

we see him in one way a lot of times even though you say he's gonna not gonna do what he ends up slipping some opting

  • 19:11

in there but now taking this direction I think it's great shout out the dirt and it's great for the album is called

  • 19:16

Almost healed and for this to be your first single this kind of tells you hey look I'm working on myself I'm trying to

  • 19:22

get over there this is where I'm at now yeah salute um a lot of fans were let down because we

  • 19:29

assumed an album was coming this is what he told us stupid

  • 19:35

asses I say so they shouldn't have said I say so but

  • 19:40

I'm just waiting on the right spot to jump in and I know why you say that but

  • 19:46

I'm saying from a Fan's perspective if everything he's did let up and said hey look you know Hit album title I'll

  • 19:52

give you this if you give me a hundred thousand comments Etc et cetera the first sign of of malarkey that is not

  • 19:59

about the first sign of Milwaukee Dr Luke and J Cole single come out and just be with the album

  • 20:04

way before this way before any of this I was coming in here saying

  • 20:10

that don't seem strange an artist of this magnitude to come off of what he

  • 20:16

came off and have this quiet of a job drop I don't something's wrong something it don't make sense and now it makes sense you was teasing a

  • 20:23

fake day if he teased it because I'm not going to do the research but y'all teased the fake date to get [ __ ] off

  • 20:28

your back you see a [ __ ] trolling but you had this J Cole Dr Luke I know I can

  • 20:34

be what I want to be met with the mayor you doing uh now this feels like

  • 20:41

dirt like Dirk's last album was hard there's no reason creatively it's sold

  • 20:47

one financially there's no reason nowhere for him to have a quiet drop didn't make sense this makes sense video

  • 20:56

out give me two weeks for this record to stream up it's cold on it he tore me

  • 21:01

apart I'm admitting that that guy that guy over there is going to keep giving

  • 21:07

me marketing from all of them people this very very good move all I got to do

  • 21:12

now is DM Takashi I gotta just put a few other little things in place and he seems lined up to

  • 21:20

to hit his 80 000. he see one more Mark he seems lined up to be the from that

  • 21:26

stat you read the first rap number one probably so that's what this looks like

  • 21:32

well nobody else drunk I'm just saying I went in there at 12 30 on my iTunes

  • 21:37

store and y'all know sometimes they should show me [ __ ] sometimes it don't so I screen record it just to make sure and I didn't see no he quiet a lot of

  • 21:45

alternative rock it's a quiet quiet it's been a quiet year

  • 21:51

extremely it's about to heat up I hope so [ __ ] it's about to eat up listen

  • 21:56

either it's about to heat up or we're in for a much more serious conversation around the fall as to why it slowed down

  • 22:04

the way it is but was it back in the days Joe wasn't around this time they dropped records to for the summer for

  • 22:10

the summer usually get it yeah wanted it to heat up in the summer okay

  • 22:17

it should have been out in

  • 22:25

when it's the big big artist they'll drop this [ __ ] right after the Grammys there'll be a single we'll come right

  • 22:31

after the Grammys we've had that happen quite a few or debuted my album is in your phone after the gram something but

  • 22:36

now that's your mark though that now this record gets to live and we dropping the album late spring or going right

  • 22:43

into summer got it okay now it's you know with everything being so short you know I could announce it

  • 22:48

today and drop it tomorrow type [ __ ] so you don't really get that no more but that don't still don't work you still need to roll

  • 22:54

Shield you just we just saw it with Jack like you can't just drop cold and expect to do what it's supposed to do unless

  • 23:00

you're Beyonce Drake super duper duper yes no they can do that but like some

  • 23:05

medium not play all the way super duper Star not to stay on that but I think with Jack because this album wasn't what

  • 23:12

he normally does this is like a mixtape he treated it like a mix yeah this is like a mixture yeah you know there's no

  • 23:18

single on here I make these songs with the catchy this there's none of that on this album so this is a rap project see

  • 23:24

but I don't care I want to know I want to know how that counts contractually toward his project I mean toward his

  • 23:30

contract I want to know if that counts as half an album uh

  • 23:40

and I know everybody loves the Dirk and cold record with the kids now here comes some hate

  • 23:47

all right get my head out yet I'm after him don't try to set me up to hey pause

  • 23:54

lightweight little microwave a little microwave and just an observation

  • 24:01

Dirk got him he got a you got to get more comfortable rapping positive right

  • 24:08

[ __ ] [ __ ] don't even know how to do it what to say he didn't know how to play

  • 24:14

with the kids Cole had to come in hey kids listen to me yeah that's hilarious it

  • 24:23

was only cold with the coloring books and the lunch boxes that [ __ ] he was confused for a second

  • 24:29

then the birds came on after the kids stopped he started getting in his I want to change but I can't it's like oh [ __ ]

  • 24:35

    let me leave this alone no I [ __ ] with that I [ __ ] with the

  • 24:41

imagery I [ __ ] with all of it I [ __ ] what I do I love everything about this single yeah my only thing is it's weird

  • 24:46

for me as a huge dirt fan seeing him do a lot of this roll out stuff like I

  • 24:51

remember when Dirk tweeted maybe a month or two months ago or something about

  • 24:57

hey I can make you push your album back how long paper it looks like somebody

  • 25:02

made you push your album back whether it's true or not I know you think this was never the date never

  • 25:07

but I'm going off what you gave us told album dropping dude said oh yeah I'm dropping the same

  • 25:14

day too now you push back two weeks well what if that was a strategy strategy what if he

  • 25:19

was aware of when I say in a domain you got the number one what if he was aware when the young boy was dropping it what

  • 25:25

if that was all a strategy because some people are strategic like that okay two things one I don't I think young boy really decided I'm gonna drop he does

  • 25:32

that like because when you have this much of music and that type of relationship nobody's making you don't

  • 25:37

think nobody make the decision that he doesn't

  • 25:42

because they know he's gonna do his numbers without it so he think his is on the Fly

  • 25:49

I definitely think he's got it a lot okay now the one part where I think this could backfire I think he'll drop again

  • 25:58

it's not I don't put it past young boys oh okay that's the date we'll see you then too

  • 26:03

you got to think this is early may this is his either third or fourth project this year

  • 26:10

that he's dropped when you sitting at home with a studio

  • 26:16

in the crib or a house arrest for two and a half three years all you doing is making music it's nothing for me to go

  • 26:21

grab another 10 records 15 records cool all right back let me go grab these package it up here come another album

  • 26:28

I want to go head up with you you can't run from me and I saw Dirk's caption when he put the uh I had a single drop

  • 26:34

he said aha almost like I tricked you I don't know if this is the right person you can pull that trick off on

  • 26:41

[ __ ] if this single works like it probably should work and maybe if there's another single behind it before

  • 26:46

the album drops another single in two weeks maybe dog Dirk looked like he is

  • 26:52

in alignment with the machine he looks good up that whole youngest kid appears

  • 26:58

to be moving on his own yeah that's what it looks like I don't know but you can you can say that based off

  • 27:04

the video based off you can see when that's what it says the machine working would you say that I saw

  • 27:11

the video I said okay he had somebody come to his cribbon I'll tell you one thing though how much how much how much positive dirt I need

  • 27:17

on this album with two who are we asking the room that that's enough for me

  • 27:27

    two [ __ ] a hypocrite stop sure [ __ ] are so phony no no no it's all

  • 27:32

Hypocrites it's true it's [ __ ] up so Drake can do a whole melodically but but

  • 27:37

but Dirk can't do it well no I like I like when Drake got on that b side and

  • 27:42

started hopping on these [ __ ] asses too yeah but then he do a whole album then you like did you like a whole album with him straight yes one of the albums

  • 27:50

was that I like Malarkey and Hip-Hop got it I also think that you guys are your

  • 27:57

own Brands and businesses and should be able to separate real life from your

  • 28:02

business the album's called I almost healed right that means

  • 28:07

a little bit of [ __ ] in there yeah I need some [ __ ] a little scab under the bed a little bit Yeah because I'm

  • 28:15

not putting it on to go commit a crime but I mean I would like my adrenaline that could fly a little bit a little bit

  • 28:21

I noticed that's the main difference with me and some of the younger [ __ ] that's outside now is what we listen to

  • 28:26

to start our debt but who has put on a positive song like that and then went back to doing crazy

  • 28:32

[ __ ] isn't it like back to back positivity or be a positive and then some type of r

  • 28:38

b [ __ ] like if we think of people that have done it um I don't think it's like you can't go

  • 28:44

positive then go back straight into crazy I don't know what you told me yeah you good yeah and sometimes

  • 28:51

if you try to go positive and it don't work for you because everybody that's been fans and

  • 28:56

you've been look listening to this the fact you end up saying all right let me go back to what works

  • 29:03

listen shout out to Dirk I can't wait did anybody hit a young boy I'm just getting ready to say I listen to the

  • 29:08

young boy album and this [ __ ] ain't bad it's I know it's not a lot of people's uh critique about him is like his voice

  • 29:16

his voice with the heavy auto tune with the yelling on a lot of tracks makes for a hard listen if you're not like a young

  • 29:22

boy fan project ain't bad I was kind of shocked I thought it was

  • 29:28

going to be a bunch of throwaways that he just paced together but I know that the tracks that I've seen everybody talking about because he got a [ __ ] the

  • 29:35

industry part two where he's dissing you know Drake and yachty basically anybody who's

  • 29:41

been cool with with named this Drake he ain't that crazy

  • 29:53

facetimed me and said he [ __ ] with Dirk yeah [ __ ] Ain't that crazy now but um

  • 30:02

they'll knock the records for me on there like there's a Minnesota yeah I honestly be caring for

  • 30:08

the super aggressive like young when young boy gets into his pain bag

  • 30:13

that's that's where his music stands out for me okay why he don't have a strip club

  • 30:19

    I mean I'm about to say I'm stupid for a minute but I don't care all the popular [ __ ] the young boys like the [ __ ] I

  • 30:27

know of Kodak you got a bunch of them oh he get on his pain [ __ ] but boy they do old Kodak set in the strip club and get

  • 30:33

lit all of the young [ __ ] have that because look where Kodak from though but all of them

  • 30:40

all of the young ones have that it seemed like young boy don't even

  • 30:45

try to Target none of that outside [ __ ] and I don't know so if I'm wrong please

  • 30:51

in the comments let me know those records to look forward but I I never hear them

  • 30:56

I don't know any any records that'll go up and it sounds like I'm hating on album release date so let me shut up uh

  • 31:02

y'all go check out NBA young boy's album as well riches op name of the project like I said the album is hard like I'm

  • 31:08

not mad so the positive positivity shit's out the window of a young boy it's safe to say and this is the album

  • 31:15

he was working on when he said I'm being positive no no it was the last one I'm gonna try this at home no yes he said he

  • 31:22

put three albums out yeah don't try this at home the 33 songs on it I ain't got time

  • 31:30

    position listen speaking of negativity

  • 31:36

a few days ago ice hit me on the tax he said yo what you waiting on Anita

  • 31:42

Baker all right hit me up on the text of what you waiting on

  • 31:48

Ice hit me and said uh that Anita Baker is at the Prudential uh performing yeah

  • 31:55

oh he was in there then no just how could how could that creep up on us and we not know we're not being huge Anita

  • 32:01

Baker fans right so he said that I gave him a darn [ __ ] and that was the end oh

  • 32:09

you even try to go but no no no it was happening it was happening all this traffic oh [ __ ] and I saw the

  • 32:15

dude outside with Anita Baker t-shirt I was like oh and that was the end of that conversation for me

  • 32:21

but it wasn't later on Babyface himself

  • 32:28

goes on Instagram and posts huge apology to anyone who came out

  • 32:34

tonight to see me do you have it are you looking for it yeah and I've got it oh yeah read the police okay

  • 32:39

um in that beautiful sultry voice yo who was that lady that I was talking on the intro

  • 32:46

oh yeah I wanted to know that

  • 32:54

that's it's bad okay so Babyface said I am truly sorry

  • 32:59

to my fans who have been waiting for us to hit the stage this evening at the Prudential Center I was asked not to

  • 33:04

perform an order to give Miss Baker her space and time to perform her show in its entirety my band and I are extremely

  • 33:10

saddened that we didn't get to perform for y'all tonight and then a bunch of people ended up in

  • 33:16

the comments that's odd for the people that don't understand was he built

  • 33:21

slow down that's something you say to like mcconnin

  • 33:27

hey your dog stay home we got this one yeah that's something you say to smiles

  • 33:33

and southstar no disrespect oh my God

  • 33:38

you don't tell baby face no matter how late you running yo dog we good we got

  • 33:47

we got this we don't need those you could send your whole band and every backup singer's home to Babyface

  • 33:55

the man responsible for everything at least gotta be 13 30 of r b they were

  • 34:04

hot yeah no I was hot a little bit but I wanted to investigate right okay so then

  • 34:09

come to find out Babyface was later added to this day he was never originally on this day okay which says

  • 34:17

to me or we had a hard time selling tickets and I say this respectfully of course because I me and my entire family huge

  • 34:24

Anita Baker please please don't misconstrue what I'm saying all right so you may have had a hard time selling

  • 34:29

tickets Prudential it's big yeah yeah I thought it was going to the pack so you add Babyface

  • 34:35

and I imagine you see a boost but if you do that you cannot pull him

  • 34:41

off no matter what forget about his iconic status you can't do that to the people that per you cannot I don't care

  • 34:47

what happened backstage pay the overages pay the over overage fees they're

  • 34:53

expensive but Pam but you trying to pocket coin you're not going to do that so clearly

  • 35:00

if you piss off baby face you piss off

  • 35:05

91 of every song stress that has ever graced the mic they got in the comments and toy need a big ass up respectfully

  • 35:12

yeah artists yes Deborah Cox um Tony Braxton Stephanie Mills Stephanie Mills

  • 35:20

you name it yeah they didn't the goat yeah they didn't leave blame at her face yeah they were you deserve better kind

  • 35:29

of comments this is they all yeah they all was talking like and again this is speculative hey we know about that [ __ ]

  • 35:35

yeah they were talking about that for years yeah so now

  • 35:42

got to play Devil's Advocate sorry we have to be a responsible podcast so

  • 35:51

for you guys I sat home and tried to put myself in Anita Baker's Shoes did any of

  • 35:57

you guys try to do that no I didn't I didn't do that this way she tweeted she tweeted what did she say she tweeted

  • 36:04

out 65 years old happy trending played our 120th sold out concert

  • 36:12

through Tech issues to our amazing fans God is good hashtag Anita Baker

  • 36:18

and it's a picture of her smiling she pulled the oldest ass she got an oldest

  • 36:24

the original flim flama when I put myself in Anita Baker's Shoes I it took

  • 36:30

me back to what 87 and 89 his fairy tales and all of that mm-hmm

  • 36:38

whatever he is those ones Babyface was on fire

  • 36:44

Babyface was in in records the Paula Abdul [ __ ] you name it whoever Darren

  • 36:51

white anybody who needed a hit yeah anybody got one from Babyface Eric

  • 36:57

Clapton you should Eric Clapton except Tony Braxton John B get your little

  • 37:03

white ass over here he was bugging except Anita Baker

  • 37:10

no I mean you know we older but for years they've been saying she was hard to work but when Luther Vandross was

  • 37:16

Luther vandro I understand they had a tour and she told that [ __ ] you also just as many albums as you

  • 37:24

so they did they had to do alternate dates where he was the headliner she was the headliner he was the salute the

  • 37:30

    [ __ ] in the 80s

  • 37:44

we just had this talk when Chaka Khan said whatever she said about the Mary redo and while the internet was tearing

  • 37:50

shark up because she didn't have to say that you noticed some of the legends from back then they just talk they just

  • 37:56

talk spicy they do so they are very spicy I could see Anita Baker if there's somebody that can do it I don't think

  • 38:04

she can I don't think she should anyway the reasoning behind her doing it I

  • 38:09

think was a bad thing like I ain't even always Anita Baker concert going on either in Newark which is crazy yes

  • 38:16

which means somebody didn't Market something the right way but yo she was mad late and so because she was mad late

  • 38:23

she canceled his set so that she can get her own that's what her whole set out yeah oh no they was like yo yo I'm

  • 38:30

sitting in here I'm mad as hell Anita Baker acting like Laura Hill they was going crazy and and um on Instagram he

  • 38:38

play Rapture I mean they were hot blood they came out for this one and then can

  • 38:44

you let me produce mine I'm sorry he started playing anything

  • 38:50

you take requests I'm gonna chill because today

  • 38:55

and no you played the wrong one yeah yeah I played Melissa since you Canadian

  • 39:01

I played no one in this world because that includes you babyface

  • 39:08

when I say that I want to perform my show sitting next to for a second well

  • 39:13

did you did you have a producer-friendly reason for playing The Rapture oh

  • 39:21

y'all talk while I try to was Babyface gonna be the opener hey that's crazy

  • 39:29

like yo if you know you know let's because I think she came like over an hour late you should have just let face go do what he did yeah

  • 39:41

she probably realized you got a lot of earthquakes too she's like uh I wanted to be in my way the crowd won't leave no

  • 39:48

I'm not sure cannot cannot cannot hit the stage before Anita Baker I'm not I'm not

  • 39:54

saying that look this is what I'm saying based on any malfunction that is going on instead of having your fan sit there

  • 40:02

for an hour and a half I get it yeah yo Joe let me ask you this and you just

  • 40:09

talked about the fans so instead of him having him come on at all yo he didn't

  • 40:15

come on at all you would rather him go nope at all or first remember what

  • 40:20

happened when two people no I'm telling you that I don't think that was ever an option you don't think he would have

  • 40:26

done it at all I don't think so but even if he would she wouldn't want if I'm going by how

  • 40:32

Babyface was talking to Teddy Riley in his face I remember we was together I remember didn't know like hey little man

  • 40:39

and if you did that to Teddy Riley then the [ __ ] you do it to Anita Baker I disagree I think too wait wait I think

  • 40:46

it's a baby face Anita Baker yeah I don't think how do you think the

  • 40:52

conversation even went adding him she saved his ass go ahead but just from

  • 40:59

what you're saying how do you think that the conversation even went adding him to the bill like what was the expectation

  • 41:05

given to him like in terms of like his set and stuff like that what do you think Supreme

  • 41:11

for Anita Baker's concert we are going to roll up the baby face yo yo you saved

  • 41:16

my [ __ ] you didn't call Brownstone with you you didn't call Jade or 702 you

  • 41:23

called Babyface who was probably on FaceTime with LA Reid when he was like what are you how do you think it goes we

  • 41:30

are in agreement on that I'm not taking nothing away from him what I'm saying is for your fans and for you not to get the

  • 41:36

negative feedback that she got I would have tried to make an adjustment to have him go on I'm saying that for the fans

  • 41:43

is a lie and a myth 80 percent of the time I believe absolutely true I believe that's true

  • 41:48

true especially when it comes to these touring venues and dates and performances it's ego time sure I'm out

  • 41:54

here to get my ego fed I'm out here to feel that raw from the crowd when they sing my [ __ ] word for

  • 42:01

word I don't need nobody in front of me with all the slaps and don't come after me with all get out

  • 42:07

[ __ ] you guys would you think she would bring it like she'll bring him out mid set let him do a little bit and then she'd come back

  • 42:13

and finish up no because they have different bands and that was kind of like you got you got to remember right

  • 42:19

with these r b people with these egos last time I R B [ __ ] she had to stay with somebody we saw what happened he

  • 42:25

saw something in the garden and [ __ ] like that he made him yeah

  • 42:33

that was not the last time that you all right no I'm just saying but somebody can you explain explain to him I'm sorry

  • 42:39

yeah you write those things I'm saying that people the r b Stars these r b with

  • 42:45

earthquakes have egos Anita Baker's probably one of them I would agree and a

  • 42:51

situation that I was saying I was comparing it to was when Jay and R Kelly was on tour we saw what happened when

  • 42:56

Jay did better than R Kelly the Antics that he started to do that's what I'm

  • 43:02

saying so Anita Baker I'm saying that if Babyface would have went before her he would have tore that [ __ ] down he would

  • 43:08

have had everybody satisfied [ __ ] probably all right we done you wouldn't want to hear that [ __ ] Anita talking about but she probably didn't want to do

  • 43:13

it she pulled the oldest flim flame in the book you run that risk if you have somebody like baby face go off you do not disagree you run the risk of having

  • 43:18

your entire audience you come in an hour and a half late you run the risk of [ __ ] leaving anyway not necessarily I'm not putting the tardy

  • 43:24

tag because I don't really know why do [ __ ] really leave though she said actually she said and we still don't

  • 43:29

know if she said but technical issues um could be could be

  • 43:36

the car ran out of gas I am going to need the Prudential Center to tweet something and let us know you know

  • 43:42

please they got their entire purse they're

  • 43:48

perfectly fine that's what I'm saying too even even if Babyface went first and ripped it down it was only one date

  • 43:54

y'all go back to the regularly schedule one of your biggest dates if not your biggest still going back to the

  • 44:00

regularly scheduled program the rest of the tour yeah what happened from now you get a negative stamp based on the rest

  • 44:05

of the tour nothing nothing happens she's not gonna lose ticket sales what happens from here are people gonna are

  • 44:11

they gonna rally against him that's not necessarily true if you had to go get Babyface to help you sell tickets now

  • 44:17

you just shot that [ __ ] around that bridge he's still on the rest of it it's a possibility fan you think people we don't know all of the logistics yeah

  • 44:24

Logistics with regards to her tour her shows but let's just say hypothetically you went and got Babyface and he's on

  • 44:30

the next three or four dates that might have burnt that bridge Maybe

  • 44:35

does anyone know if he was added to more dates or was it just this one because if it was just this one Anita Baker is a

  • 44:42

legacy act you don't give a [ __ ] about anything if you want to see Anita Baker you're going to see [ __ ] anything

  • 44:48

true that's why you let Babyface go on first

  • 44:54

like that's not her choice who choice is it then Babyface he ain't doing that

  • 44:59

choice that's his choice baby faces Choice I'm sorry no no that's true I don't even

  • 45:06

have to do this you called me no I'm not going on I'm not opening now

  • 45:16

new Janelle Monae new Janelle Monae This Record is called lipstick lover let's go

  • 45:22

man I feel very misogynistic right now I do too whatever

  • 45:27

did you see the video I want to start off by saying is there a better marketing tool ever in the history of

  • 45:33

humanity better than some titties better no no titties are the best marketing

  • 45:40

it's true I thought I was watching BET uncut on steroids I said what I thought

  • 45:47

it was Tip Drill part seven that's important in the world only she can do it let's let Melissa lead us out with

  • 45:53

Elegance before we turn into brutes and monsters

  • 45:59

    and I I I'm gonna be a brutalizer titties

  • 46:06

like her body is it's gorgeous

  • 46:13

like I didn't even know who it was I just saw the image and I didn't think it was her but I was just like

  • 46:20

um Janelle Monae let me tell you you never really you never well let me speak with myself you never really tricked me

  • 46:27

I seen something up under there that's why it was frustrating watching

  • 46:32

you all these years because it's like oh I'm about to sound like a pig that sounds crazy are you going down this

  • 46:37

Direction talking about the baggy tuxedos it's like when Erykah Badu did it can

  • 46:43

you right at some point at some point someone on your team will

  • 46:50

urge you to try to appeal to a man I know that that's not your thing and I

  • 46:58

know about the I know about the symbolism of the suits I know I know about it

  • 47:03

I know about it but you're an artist and she's been making fire music by the

  • 47:08

way yes yes unfortunately it'd be hidden music is

  • 47:14

only a small part of music yeah that part this you're walking out that

  • 47:20

water made the whole other part come up they're gonna dig up her whole catalog I see what you did there she made a few

  • 47:27

parts come out right them just was sitting I zoomed in she looks great she looks great and it looks like she had a

  • 47:33

blast making that video she's out there with some friends but let's get back to the solo shot enough of those group

  • 47:40

picks hey when the one Baddie is out with her [Music]

  • 47:46

so we we letting him go down this Lane yes he's telling me what I'm saying that Janelle Monae is beautiful I'm saying

  • 47:53

that true all men appreciate the move love the video and I love the cohesiveness between the song the video

  • 48:00

and whatever marketing plan they came up with to promote I'm saying that it worked I'm saying it worked did a good

  • 48:07

job she was trending I bought it immediately like it worked I bought it because I'm a perv

  • 48:14

now don't come back and put that [ __ ] suit on don't come back dressed like Stephen A Smith it's too late now

  • 48:22

not the very next video let this album please leave that [ __ ] alone throw it in I look forward to uh she got the album

  • 48:28

drop in June 9th cops I love the timing called the age of pleasure oh she wow oh yeah she got a

  • 48:36

thing for [ __ ] with money oh she is wilding out there now she started off giving you the bisexual Vibe

  • 48:44

I wish I wish I wish that she was in some mess so I knew some of the business like did you go do it again did she

  • 48:50

could go through a breakup why is she just was this strictly a business decision what I got tired of making fire and not

  • 48:56

enough people paying attention to it as an artist that has to get sick yeah that's true she's been making Fires for

  • 49:02

a decade looking in the bathroom mirror looking like that every time you shower it's

  • 49:08

like all right enough of these hoes man she on Bad Boy puff said let me show you what you do oh my Lord shout out to

  • 49:14

Janelle Monae man yeah bad boy

  • 49:21

    where's bad boy Indy

  • 49:28

that complexion boy so she's on Bad Boy while puff is on low

  • 49:40

also speaking of puff y'all got me in trouble or whoever edits those damn Joe

  • 49:45

Budden podcast Clips got me in trouble what I was talking about smoking on the

  • 49:53

JD pack in the presence of my friends and to my New York audience that's who I

  • 49:58

was trying to appeal to once y'all put it on Instagram people from Atlanta see

  • 50:04

it I.E Jermaine Dupri Clips it right up puts it on his page and says oh

  • 50:12

Atlanta this is how they feel please note

  • 50:18

that this is how Joe Button feels about us [Music]

  • 50:25

    dog I [ __ ] my pants I [ __ ] right in my pants

  • 50:32

down they [ __ ] right in my pants now all them [ __ ] are up now so they're talking

  • 50:38

respectfully like you're gonna learn you gonna learn and you better not invest fast

  • 50:45

but just so we're clear I did have Jermaine Dupree uh winning the r b

  • 50:50

verses mm-hmm I said that you did I have Jermaine

  • 50:57

Dupri winning the army yes even though they haven't announced two verses which is the only reason I didn't leave the

  • 51:02

comment under there they haven't announced two verses so it might not be I might be speaking in my ass but if there's two I have Jermaine Dupri

  • 51:07

winning the uh r b one in a tight fight and I have him getting blown out of the

  • 51:13

gym in the rap one I agree and that's respectfully because I don't know if I agree with that I want to be

  • 51:19

clear I I have all the respect in the world for those guys down there

  • 51:25

you don't agree what he's gonna get he's gonna get smoked in a rapship but that the r b [ __ ] is going

  • 51:31

to be a long film like that's a 12 round fight you're probably gonna lose

  • 51:37

we'll see it's my life and share my world and uh

  • 51:43

Forever My Lady versus Mariah and confessions but puff

  • 51:48

got the little summer rains in the little you know what I mean he got some little yeah

  • 51:56

20 rounds I'm not disagreeing JD is JD Michael Jackson Michael Jackson

  • 52:04

like what are you doing they shook you up Atlanta they shook you up I turned

  • 52:10

them right now they shook it on the very same thing the last podcast I'm just saying the way you said it now you said a little different you said it

  • 52:16

differently and now you're more walking so this sounds like we heard you as your man we heard you hold on wait stop ask your man let me know flip full back imma

  • 52:23

fall back and let this slide I don't feel like falling back but I'm gonna do it because you've been holding me down just tell me just give me the look

  • 52:37

walking going JD salute you're gonna win the r b joint

  • 52:46

what else we got yeah [Laughter]

  • 52:54

he don't give a [ __ ] too he'll move on right I don't give him one bit all right

  • 52:59

yo some funny [ __ ] um so some fans purchased a bunch of Frank

  • 53:05

Ocean uh leaked records purchase yeah so what happens is all right so they got

  • 53:12

these like message boards Discord servers Etc and they have what's called a group buy so let's say I got some

  • 53:18

unreleased [ __ ] I I got it from an engineer whatever the case may be I'll put up in there yo for 2500 y'all can

  • 53:24

have this record okay a song I've seen it for a song depending on like that's

  • 53:29

how these leaks come out so what will happen is a bunch of people will get together like

  • 53:35

it'll be a Groupon so you'll put in you'll put in as long as once that number's hit it's a Kickstarter yeah for bootleg yeah

  • 53:43

okay so once that number's hit that person gets paid and whoever organized

  • 53:48

it they get the song now sometimes people keep it other times they just release it this is how a lot of the

  • 53:53

leaks come out gotcha now people have you know been able to monetize it like yeah we before it used to be just get

  • 54:00

somebody music go upload it online now they're like no we're getting paid for it so what happened a bunch of Frank Ocean records were

  • 54:07

leaked over the past couple weeks or months or so and I think the person got upwards of fifteen thousand dollars

  • 54:13

so and then came out and then came out and said hey yo those are all AI tracks oh [ __ ] they wasn't real

  • 54:22

so they'd be so you'd be so thirsty to get the music from certain artists I

  • 54:27

hear Frank that when his name hits those servers they're like oh yeah we'll buy it we'll

  • 54:33

buy it but then what happened because that sounds like a crime the way you just described it well it is a crime but it's a couple different crimes I think

  • 54:38

it's a bunch of different crimes but unfortunately a lot of times those Groupons are paid through Bitcoin

  • 54:43

[Music] um and and so so high track it and hot

  • 54:49

track 221.88 and go get your money back like what the [ __ ] are you talking about yeah you don't know who this person is

  • 54:55

they ain't got the real profile names they Anonymous they created some [ __ ] 17 transfers

  • 55:03

to get the bread yeah you know thank you all for the Vivid description of how

  • 55:08

these criminal surprises I know this has been a thing for a minute now like [ __ ] the the Dr Dre and Kendrick Lamar um the

  • 55:16

Beats commercial that was just a little snippet the full track somebody just purchased it and put it out like it's

  • 55:21

    been reference tracks y'all new kids are stupid oh [ __ ] what's smart [ __ ] no I think oh

  • 55:29

no I'm talking about the guy on the other side of it you dodo heads when the guy used to come

  • 55:36

in the barbershop selling the VCR we plugged it in

  • 55:41

in fact hey you don't leave stay right there hey give me that tape

  • 56:00

hey the [ __ ] used to come in the barbershop with the DVDs what we do is black open it up yeah

  • 56:05

Hold On Pop That in right there pop that in that's when the barbershop started getting DVD players right on in fact

  • 56:12

yeah I don't feel bad for these guys I don't I don't feel bad this [ __ ] was hilarious to me I'm about to try and

  • 56:17

sell them some [ __ ] too oh I've been trying yeah I'm home trying to concoct something I'm I'm um Breaking Bad with

  • 56:25

the music you gotta Pump It Up remix so moving on let's do about yourself

  • 56:31

some dated [ __ ] that I don't even own look at you they'll pay for it you better get sued by you I'm trying to get

  • 56:37

    some new [ __ ] by me [ __ ] by Universal that's it it's still hot that's a new record that's the

  • 56:44

playoff little movie bag still go ahead and try to do something bump it up they want y'all ass they don't play by me

  • 56:53

I play about me now that E1 Joe

  • 57:01

they don't give a [ __ ] everybody they never loved me they're not paying nobody

  • 57:07

no one yeah for real um what else what else what else what else ice spices on Billboard the cover of

  • 57:14

billboard I spice says she owns everything her publishing she has creative control all her [ __ ] she owns

  • 57:20

her Masters she owned everything she'll all five songs yeah that's what I was saying why is this like yeah

  • 57:26

I mean absolute but I I [ __ ] with her but she's only got a couple songs out like

  • 57:32

what's that unheard of who else is supposed to own that you

  • 57:38

know you just started yesterday yeah how could I lose if I already run like over there

  • 57:48

call this SpongeBob [ __ ] the SpongeBob beat no I'm not stop the SpongeBob

  • 57:56

the SpongeBob beat man the second single bro stop man not bad not bad I'm young boys having fun with her

  • 58:03

what the [ __ ] are you doing that here yo

  • 58:08

all right can you I like her little afro

  • 58:14

yeah you're right man we like it you like it I love it you don't like her I

  • 58:20

do I do very nice [Music] College Hill on BET uh plus put out a

  • 58:25

clip of Jocelyn Hernandez and Amber Rose fight and in the clip both of them is grabbing each other's hair to get the

  • 58:32

advantage of the other person but Amber's balls so in the comments

  • 58:37

it was just like right right girl wrong plan

  • 58:43

they start going crazy they had a fight they're like but but Amber ball what is

  • 58:49

you grabbing on oh I left boy out sweetie has a new show coming out or um

  • 58:54

yeah it's College Hill but it's like the celebrity edition so all these things Ray J's in it Joslin Amber Rose

  • 59:02

um I wonder if that's the season they wanted me in what was it last season I don't know

  • 59:08

they couldn't do that in front of me I'd had to break it up yeah I'm sorry I had to break it up they asked you to be a

  • 59:14

part of that I guess why you questioning my man like you're not here no I'm not doing that no they asked me too oh

  • 59:27

you'll be [ __ ] on [ __ ] and nicely stop no it would have been hilarious because they didn't they don't tell you

  • 59:33

who's in the cast like you had no idea well okay maybe you um

  • 59:41

who all gonna be there I only knew about Ray J that's all I knew that's all I knew

  • 59:47

what's up I don't know if I could do that show you could what's the point of it well I agree with that college

  • 59:53

education what was enticing to me is you do get some real type of degree or something no they've been going back to school yeah so you really do get it yeah

  • 59:59

it's real real college I don't think you actually do the college work though do you it's not looking like it from the

  • 1:00:05

clips but who knows what do I know cheers let me shut up they tearing me up on

  • 1:00:12

  • 1:00:24

so they fought for real well we have to watch the episode okay they definitely fought Jocelyn said she

  • 1:00:31

won and nobody refuted it that's normally when you know

  • 1:00:36

but yes we'll try to grab your hair and they miss that's when the uppercut's supposed to come out your pocket

  • 1:00:41

listen both of them got hands so you girl don't say like yo they McCann

  • 1:00:47

and she's five foot nine Maybe 10. that's not a walk in the park for no

  • 1:00:54

girl got it Amber is not one of them she is not a shrinking violet she's Amber Rose yeah

  • 1:01:02

I'll let that Rose Part fool you

  • 1:01:13

yeah give me that part that's a fight I want to see should I pay for the rematch you talking about you would have broke

  • 1:01:19

it up he would have had to I know what as a man what are you supposed to do oh

  • 1:01:26

that's the good breakup he would have heard about it after yeah you sat there and watched it please do not be please

  • 1:01:36

when it comes to his people we got to be careful it's breaking that [ __ ] up like oh

  • 1:01:46

you're moving alive make a little Mark

  • 1:01:51

Tanner somebody cool yeah we ain't even talk about really the Dirk 69 fight

  • 1:01:58

is it gonna happen no come on okay I mean it seems ridiculous

  • 1:02:05

no what's it to talk about who's gonna pay them 50 million dollars to fight anyways

  • 1:02:10

where does the where did they come from Dirk I told you all the way that we use the word Millions when it got to the

  • 1:02:16

hood it's been a mess it's a different million we

  • 1:02:22

have misused it ain't nothing to talk about

  • 1:02:28

like you said it came from dirt he did this is all right yeah

  • 1:02:34

I'm not used to seeing this from him I'm gonna say it sorry I'm not used to it it

  • 1:02:40

looks weird to me it looks funny to me I hope the album or maybe this is his way of saying the album ain't gonna be what

  • 1:02:46

you think it's gonna be would you be Eskimo brothers with six nine knowingly like

  • 1:02:53

    pass

  • 1:03:05

    Mel I think I I think I need to get a proper

  • 1:03:11

definition on Eskimo brothers because people have slept with the same people y'all [ __ ] the same girl okay so I

  • 1:03:16

thought Eskimo brothers nope oh my God tell us

  • 1:03:27

guys know right away without me even doing it for the audience please tell us they

  • 1:03:32

don't know I don't know either sharing look at her yes whatever you're doing right now

  • 1:03:41

no I know I thought the Eskimo brothers meant same girl same time

  • 1:03:47

you and front door him in back door oh you kinky kinky that's what I thought

  • 1:03:52

Eskimo brothers men that's DP I believe [Laughter]

  • 1:04:00

    oh yeah that's DP I believe that's y'all wearing

  • 1:04:07

a train on her I am I mean you still qualify

  • 1:04:14

    [Laughter]

  • 1:04:30

can I can I ask you a question yes what one white shoe one black shoe okay

  • 1:04:36

did you notice that I don't look at him I'ma tell you this

  • 1:04:43

not feeling well but I will let it off on you pause

  • 1:04:49

if you if you you have three shots today that was one not even a half yeah just

  • 1:04:54

just to be sure excuse me pause again please move carefully you're my friend

  • 1:05:01

let's leave me alone called you this weekend this week you [ __ ] on me

  • 1:05:07

he didn't call me too much it's over now thank you when I call you

  • 1:05:13

a kid yeah I called him he said I was gonna call you to see if he was good they can

  • 1:05:19

what that's crazy why would you even say that to me the holy [ __ ] I was just about to

  • 1:05:26

call you this evening I'm so bad at Small Talk a [ __ ]

  • 1:05:34

I was just about to see if you were feeling better I forgot that something

  • 1:05:40

just like a good human does

  • 1:06:03

what's up yo oh man what is everyone doing for

  • 1:06:09

Mother's Day respectfully spending money huh spending money you

  • 1:06:16

say it's all speak up you said spin I don't hear what he's saying I'm spending money

  • 1:06:23

the same but why don't you do that every year on Mother's Day

  • 1:06:28

oh yeah oh yeah yeah I say okay yes yes can you say no I can't

  • 1:06:37

you know they'd be listening they'd be listening to him we got him again go find a smooth way to say give me a

  • 1:06:43

something but wait I'm about to argue for him you can't vastly switch me up on year

  • 1:06:51

    one no Mother's Day couch

  • 1:07:04

you know because it's that Mother's Day right yeah and then you smooth it out as

  • 1:07:10

they go yes that one though oh and you was on this

  • 1:07:15

type of time but now you're on this type of time this one ain't so bad though Mother's Day ain't

  • 1:07:21

one of the real expensive ones right what Hey Joe I'm asking yes it might be

  • 1:07:27

V1 oh y'all really it's more expensive than your birthday or Christmas especially

  • 1:07:48

for me I don't really do Christmas like that you get what I'm saying but for your mother it's your mother so your

  • 1:07:54

mother is her and then for the the mother of your kids they bought your kid or kids into the world so you kind of

  • 1:08:00

appreciate that you know what I'm saying so definitely do but why is it to be celebrated more than I think that's to

  • 1:08:06

be celebrated more than Christmas especially that first Mother's Day I'm telling you bro it's more expensive

  • 1:08:12

because fam what she went through to bring your kid into the world I'm trying to explain something yeah all

  • 1:08:18

of those things all of that [ __ ] comes into it you say first mother the first child no I'm talking about yeah

  • 1:08:24

y'all listen to me talk to me follow my hand can y'all find a way to answer my

  • 1:08:31

question I understand why it's important and sentimental I'm talking about once

  • 1:08:36

we get to all right I'm turning up how does it get expensive the word expensive a dinner no nice well

  • 1:08:44

no you get if you decide right then you do like how bad how far do you go with Mother's Day gifts

  • 1:08:51

however far you would that's that's a little trip a trip is relevant here Hillary expenses

  • 1:09:01

maybe I have been looking at Mother's Day differently possibly well how do you how do you

  • 1:09:06

spend Mother's Day like what do you do for your mom and your boyfriend's mom

  • 1:09:12

well yeah like uh my mom for Mother's day is going to spend it with her

  • 1:09:17

sisters like they have a dinner plan to honor their mom I suggested that we honor her at

  • 1:09:24

breakfast and I bought my mom some the Venus flowers like I bought her some [ __ ] but

  • 1:09:30

    it's not like a couple of trip car my girl [ __ ] I sent over a little I

  • 1:09:36

can't say right now because she listening but it wasn't crazy it ain't like when the birthday roll up or

  • 1:09:42

Christmas roll up or just summertime roll up everybody everything wait hold on summertime

  • 1:09:48

what yes summertime is all right no I'm just saying everybody definition

  • 1:09:54

of crazy is different so let's just say hypothetically you spent 10. to to the average [ __ ] ten

  • 1:10:02

thousand dollars is no but I ain't really talking about that I'm talking about for you like it's jewelry A Mother's Day gift yes yes it could be

  • 1:10:09

yeah yeah yeah but for you is it me I know what it could be yeah yeah it could be it is for me this year for my mom

  • 1:10:14

she's retiring this week actually so congratulations congratulations and it's Mother's Day so yeah and you up up

  • 1:10:22

Triple Threat oh you yeah don't leave that apartment one up for each thing yes

  • 1:10:28

a lot it's a lot it's a lot for one weekend but yeah but it balances because his

  • 1:10:33

wife don't they don't they're not yeah balances um

  • 1:10:39

listen let's move on because I don't want my mom or girl to really hear what

  • 1:10:44

y'all think about the holidays now y'all y'all turning up yeah y'all the only

  • 1:10:50

y'all giving out no bright ideas hey y'all conduct Mother's Day how y'all do it I'll conduct it the way I do it

  • 1:10:57

one day I one day I think it might have been two years ago it I didn't do what I was supposed to do

  • 1:11:04

for Mother's Day and boy did that have a lingering effect

  • 1:11:19

you got to show up through your own emotions and however you may feel about

  • 1:11:25

things you still have a responsibility to show up like yeah you get your kids something to give them all you do that hey if you

  • 1:11:32

dating a girl with some kids and you just sees your [ __ ] bust ass the whole year go send a little card or you got to do something you gotta do

  • 1:11:38

something I learned that that took a lot um not even just the Mother's Day part but like my mom's had to tell me

  • 1:11:44

getting gifts from the kid for people yeah I wasn't doing that [ __ ] they were like yo you got to get a gift from her

  • 1:11:50

for this person and that person I'm like oh oh that should add up quick too dog that's

  • 1:11:58

when I was I went card shopping apartment I'm like [ __ ] I went card shopping the other night

  • 1:12:04

and I and like for me when I go card shopping I really read the cards I don't just pick up any card I try to get a

  • 1:12:10

card that says some [ __ ] that I would say yo I can't even feed into that [ __ ] did you say no core because somehow

  • 1:12:16

people text me and hit and send me well wishes on Father's Day now like I think

  • 1:12:21

they've made a concentrated effort well what concerted that too

  • 1:12:28

they're concentrated too and they made that effort yo dog I bought four cars four cards cars 33 dollars my [ __ ]

  • 1:12:35

four cards yeah yeah I'm like damn [ __ ] what happened to the

  • 1:12:41

99 Cents that message don't hit the same no more

  • 1:12:47

oh you've really been there all year thanks yeah yeah I was like damn four cards 33 dollars they've been expensive

  • 1:12:54

all right then baby mama baby mama mother four to four yes my math is bad who's

  • 1:13:04

the fourth it's your mom two baby mamas and your girl but if your girl is your baby mama what

  • 1:13:11

are you talking about what kind of Canadian map you're doing no she talk about you you talk about me and he's not

  • 1:13:18

talking about him um oh him yeah y'all stop counting my cards [ __ ]

  • 1:13:23

[ __ ] out of here this [ __ ] here different wait what was

  • 1:13:30

your account for me oh the four yeah

  • 1:13:36

like yeah no who are the four stars we're not playing you know pinochle we

  • 1:13:44

good over here you know what I'm saying we all right okay uh speaking of Mother's Day and kids uh y'all want to

  • 1:13:50

cover this Brian McKnight Brian McKnight has responded Brian McKnight has responded to all of

  • 1:13:56

the rumors circulating about his namesake his children the abandonment yeah here's his response

  • 1:14:04

Brian McKnight here there's been a lot of discussions about how I talk about my

  • 1:14:11

family attention to the internet trolls but now

  • 1:14:18

my family is being harassed online and accosted in public apparently because some people can't handle seeing my

  • 1:14:25

happily ever after coming after me is one thing but the moment you come after my wife and our

  • 1:14:31

children it's another story because even more important to me than defending my name is defending and protecting them

  • 1:14:40

I want to address some of these recent discussions as a child good night there was a very simple reason why I post

  • 1:14:46

about some of my children on social media and not others and not them other [ __ ] children that I do not currently

  • 1:14:52

have relationships with think about them instead I post about the children with

  • 1:14:59

whom I do have relationships with whom I am proud of all right listen these clips

  • 1:15:04

are scattered brained all over the place so I'm just gonna play them as we got them you don't live in the past he said

  • 1:15:12

I am so proud of the man I am today the husband I am to my wife Leilani and the

  • 1:15:18

father I am to our children I'm so proud of our love our family our

  • 1:15:24

life so I will without apology continue to shout about it as loud as I can

  • 1:15:30

if you can't help or handle seeing happiness and love then I respectfully

  • 1:15:35

ask you why are you even on my page maybe you should ask yourself that too

  • 1:15:42

another thing a lot of people have been talking about is the lawsuit my adult daughter Brianna brought against me a

  • 1:15:48

few years ago there's been a lot of misinformation about the case that a lot of people who

  • 1:15:55

don't know what happened acting like they do I think it is important to clear up some

  • 1:16:00

of that misinformation in 2020 my biological daughter Brianna sued me

  • 1:16:06

for defamation and I don't live in the past

  • 1:16:11

yeah breach of contract next one I posted it if someone said that I did something I

  • 1:16:18

    didn't do and I want a case proving that I didn't I demand a public apology I

  • 1:16:23

demand an acknowledgment of wrongdoing and you all made me Skip One no it was

  • 1:16:28

playing over and then I went to the next one of that life insurance policy was three hundred thousand dollars with eighteen

  • 1:16:35

thousand dollars worth of Interest I made up no stories

  • 1:16:43

you can do what you will with that information and deciding who you think won the case internet finally

  • 1:16:49

I want to address the abandonment issue for the last time those kids and I have had a long history

  • 1:16:55

of conflicts those kids and resolutions but there was a time we were truly a

  • 1:17:02

successfully blended family Julia Jack BJ Nico and Brianna our home was filled

  • 1:17:10

with love and acceptance so much so that the kids were all following each other siblings contrary to the picture that's

  • 1:17:16

been painted online Christmases birthdays thanksgivings friendsgivings all spent together even

  • 1:17:24

standing up for me is my best man in our wedding along with their brother Jack which I posted to pick up here

  • 1:17:30

cappuccino shoulder thereafter the same conflict over money arose again

  • 1:17:36

we parted ways and the next thing I knew there were two posts from Brian and

  • 1:17:42

Brianna in 2019 telling the world a completely different name

  • 1:17:49

I never abandoned anyone our estrangement was Mutual but those posts

  • 1:17:55

made any roads towards reconciliation and acknowledging them a dead issue

  • 1:18:00

and I changed my will shut up [ __ ] he changed his will though

  • 1:18:09

that is my new way to fight the kids I told y'all

  • 1:18:16

oh yeah cross their name out ladies and gentlemen now that you've heard

  • 1:18:22

does your opinion change what is your feedback my opinion does not change at all no he did a lot this was a lot

  • 1:18:28

    that's a lot he don't [ __ ] with them kids at all that's it he don't [ __ ] with them that's it

  • 1:18:36

    I don't think there's much here it's it's giving the second wife and speculation I don't

  • 1:18:44

know nothing but they invited us into the [ __ ] conversation but it's giving that the second wife

  • 1:18:51

I don't know maybe ultimatum of disowned that first family if you want to get with me no no male no hell I don't get

  • 1:18:58

that at all he just said they could they had Christmases in the holidays as the two combined families before so and then

  • 1:19:06

what happened them for whatever reason they went estranged but that don't necessarily point the blame to the

  • 1:19:12

second wife oh I'm not taking a blame off of him whatsoever at all

  • 1:19:18

does he look like a [ __ ] that except ultimatums look what he's doing now

  • 1:19:24

he doesn't give ultimatum misbehavior to me I don't know what these two are talking

  • 1:19:30

about oh yeah but I just think that some people's families that don't work out it's a lot of people that don't [ __ ]

  • 1:19:36

with they they parent Joe and and when you rich and you successful that that might manifest in the media more than

  • 1:19:43

other people that you know what I mean like Regular Joe Schmo people there's mad people that don't [ __ ] with their parents got that part that's very common

  • 1:19:49

in America I'm talk how do we feel when the parent don't [ __ ] with the kids it's a little weird

  • 1:19:57

is there a reason in the world that you could think of to make somebody not [ __ ]

  • 1:20:02

with their kids see the part that gets me about this it's not even that he don't [ __ ] with the kids it just seemed like he's going out of his way to show

  • 1:20:09

that I don't that's that's something that's the part where it gets like you could not [ __ ] with them and just not [ __ ] with them but you're going like

  • 1:20:16

that post he had oh I became a girl dad with you [ __ ] you got a grown daughter so you did not become a girl dad with

  • 1:20:22

her and even if you did no even if you felt that you don't you don't have to say like yeah that's the part that you're renaming your new son Brian Jr is

  • 1:20:29

corny like you doing this video he said he has absolutely no regret about naming his new son Brian as that is the child

  • 1:20:36

that he wants to carry on the McKnight Legacy he said it out of his mouth I can continue to play this for you if you

  • 1:20:41

like he said well that might not be that let me pull it back okay let him finish the knitting one our

  • 1:20:48

estrangement was Mutual even if these words you're using our estrangement is mutual he is oh he is done with you

  • 1:20:54

don't [ __ ] with him yeah and I changed my will the next day

  • 1:21:01

I've spent the last 30 plus years building a recognized respectable name

  • 1:21:06

and ironically there are still people out there who are trying to smear my name

  • 1:21:11

while still carrying it hoping to use it for their own benefit

  • 1:21:17

s for naming my infant son Brian I want

  • 1:21:22

him and the world to know that he is the one who is my True Legacy

  • 1:21:27

so I'll be over here continuing to love and protect my wife and our children as we continue

  • 1:21:33

to love our life [Music] that's crazy yeah that's still does some

  • 1:21:42

anyone what can we say anything I just anything I think I think he's just talking how

  • 1:21:48

from his he feels yeah I really think he's talking from his heart I don't think he's doing no pandering I don't think he's doing no clickbaity [ __ ] I

  • 1:21:54

think yeah nothing like that sounds like a panda clickbaity [ __ ] I don't think he know I

  • 1:22:00

think he like yo I'ma tell you what it is and y'all gonna accept it or not but that's what it is Melissa I'm so shocked

  • 1:22:06

at your take the I would have thought the opposite I would have thought that his new family

  • 1:22:12

or new wife urged him to respond yeah and handle this my kids are receiving

  • 1:22:17

death threats yes I'm getting so spoke to a certain way you look a certain way like do something no you're pulling the

  • 1:22:25

race card no I kind of feel like it's

  • 1:22:31

that paints a picture of like more like some Damsel in Distress thing situation I don't think so

  • 1:22:37

well wait a second and all right look it wouldn't be a damsel

  • 1:22:43

industry so that you don't classify that as a Damsel in Distress so there's rumors that

  • 1:22:51

his marriage to her his relationship with her started while he was still married

  • 1:22:57

so yeah and so like there's it takes a lot to get a man to not only

  • 1:23:05

end his marriage with another woman but to marry you that that's very that is a

  • 1:23:11

very rare occurrence okay it just it doesn't happen as frequently most men are just content with keeping their

  • 1:23:17

their wife and just cheating that going through the whole process of a divorce and some and stuff like that

  • 1:23:24

just in the way in which I kind of hate how you just painted men most men are

  • 1:23:30

cool with just keeping their marriage and cheating I hate are you that sounds disgusting

  • 1:23:35

no but what I I didn't mean it's cheaper to keep them for a reason thank you I didn't say that all I didn't say most

  • 1:23:41

are all men cheat that's not what I'm saying I'm saying that men that cheat will be content with cheating hold keeping it's cheaper to keep her and

  • 1:23:48

they'll just cheat on their wife rather than getting a full-on divorce to marry the mistress that's very rare that

  • 1:23:55

doesn't happen a lot so that just kind of is like indicative of

  • 1:24:00

a certain type of Personality inside in a woman that is very

  • 1:24:05

um what's the word like maybe a little strong-willed

  • 1:24:12

you know what I mean I think that the way he's even speaking he's speaking so

  • 1:24:19

performatively you know is he speaking like so it's almost like he's reading you know it's almost script-like you

  • 1:24:27

know what I mean and I have a feeling that this is not his script this is just I don't know

  • 1:24:35

intuition Instinct I could be [ __ ] wrong I don't know I don't know these people this is just my assessment of it

  • 1:24:42

but I also having no children cannot conceptualize what could happen to make

  • 1:24:49

you say [ __ ] those kids I want nothing to do with them this is my family you're written out of the will

  • 1:24:56

disowned suck a dick like I I can't understand that I mean but again I don't have children now before I was on that

  • 1:25:05

side if you let's play it out the way you said it relationship with this woman started

  • 1:25:10

while married to moms see the kids fill it away I could see

  • 1:25:16

the kids not accepting that family I could see the kids not accepting them kids and you the line understand is drawing

  • 1:25:23

so you like if you don't [ __ ] with them you don't [ __ ] with me I could see where that could create that hole he just spoke to something totally contrary to

  • 1:25:29

never I mean we did hypothetical that y'all saying he said yo we collectively

  • 1:25:34

as two families had holidays and events together they were even calling each

  • 1:25:41

other siblings families when he said that yeah they were calling each other siblings so at

  • 1:25:48

some point they had accepted and acknowledged the other thing if it's true as their own if it's true if that's

  • 1:25:54

true right so go ahead my thing to to what Mel is saying

  • 1:26:00

foreign have you ever personal question have you

  • 1:26:06

ever given me the wrong way you ever dealt with a dude that was in a relationship yeah

  • 1:26:11

so in dealing with somebody in a relationship that person could be totally miserable in that relationship

  • 1:26:18

the new man or the new woman that you are dating could show you something that you've never seen in a significant other

  • 1:26:24

before to where you fall in love with them you're in a miserable situation here you leave that situation alone to

  • 1:26:31

go pursue the situation that brings you real joy and happiness I totally understand you but but the way you just

  • 1:26:37

painted it was like yo that never really happened I I said it was extremely rare

  • 1:26:42

that that happened the marriage point or the person being with the side chick

  • 1:26:47

we know a lot of people I think what happens is most people don't have enough money to leave their situation

  • 1:26:54

okay Dave Rich so what we see in Hollywood people leave JLo I'll be like

  • 1:27:00

all right we are this [ __ ] we out they have enough money to wear circumstances don't hold them in

  • 1:27:06

a relationship that may in fact be true but there is a

  • 1:27:13

whole swath of men in perfect perfect place since you want

  • 1:27:20

to talk about Fame and and and wealth and stuff like that in Hollywood that hold on that keep the first wife but

  • 1:27:26

they are philanderers they are they are like rampant cheater in love I might be

  • 1:27:32

[ __ ] you on the side and that's what you are a [ __ ] on let me finish man you you just might be a [ __ ] on the side

  • 1:27:38

that don't mean I fell in love with you I think the pussy's good we have fun we have time together a lot of time

  • 1:27:43

together is cool but I don't want to be in a relationship with you yeah no no no

  • 1:27:50

am I saying something back out no I'm waiting here what you say there's like

  • 1:27:57

    I can't put anybody's [ __ ] business you know that's what it is that's what it is I but I've literally seen an

  • 1:28:04

example of somebody who is of high net worth extremely and he's still married

  • 1:28:10

to whomever yes but he has a mistress I believe and he's had her

  • 1:28:17

forever and everybody knows he is in love with her that's a possibility so

  • 1:28:23

when a man cheats you you have no idea what he's going if he's just [ __ ] or if he actually fell in love with the

  • 1:28:28

girl like that's just like you know [ __ ] semantics that are related to

  • 1:28:33

like the individual situation but not when the guy changes his Instagram bio and announces publicly to anyone who has

  • 1:28:40

ears I have nothing to do with that lady I have a new family this is my new

  • 1:28:46

wife this is who represents me like that I don't hear what that is so exactly so him saying they were at once a blended

  • 1:28:52

family and then all of a sudden the his entire first family he has nothing to do with what the [ __ ] could have happened

  • 1:28:59

where collectively they all that he falls out with all of them and then just

  • 1:29:10

unless you're not taking his word for it then that's different yeah well that that's where you go wrong

  • 1:29:16

if you make an assumption no I'm just I'm literally saying that

  • 1:29:21

this is his version this is his narrative and that's all that we've pretty much been getting in it you know

  • 1:29:28

when it other than the fact that the lawsuit was filed and you know what the paperwork actually says you know we're

  • 1:29:34

just getting his narrative I mean he just [ __ ] just gave us a whole monologue you know what I mean rightfully so but it's all his

  • 1:29:42

version of the story as to what's transpired we don't really know any

  • 1:29:47

other version I mean and it's just like it's all speculation just because we got [ __ ]

  • 1:29:52

involved in the group chat I agree um in in more lawsuits

  • 1:30:00

and more lawsuits [ __ ] prize yo it'd be hard to defend the Jersey sometimes

  • 1:30:07

it'd be hard yeah Kyrie Irving for definition why

  • 1:30:19

informant and they are calling him in federal informant so you're in turn defaming his character and some along

  • 1:30:26

the lines of stopping his interfering with his money is what he was saying ah

  • 1:30:32

no the government interfere with you the government that sees that money yeah

  • 1:30:38

when the government stopped that They seized I gotta go through these two riches exactly some of that back that's

  • 1:30:44

what that's about you got to sue the site that put that out there yeah

  • 1:30:52

his part about Kyrie was because of

  • 1:30:57

Kyrie's tweets and his part about 50 is 50 had the picture up and said I never [ __ ] with

  • 1:31:03

this dude or he was a rat I never [ __ ] with him so that's where he would sue he wouldn't sue the site in that sense he

  • 1:31:10

was 250. they got some information from the site same way you when you post something we watch this with some other

  • 1:31:17

lawsuits with celebrities you post something that happens like they coming after you

  • 1:31:22

hey yo prize you're not gonna Sue Instagram thank you hey your prize thank

  • 1:31:27

you that's such a dumb ass down here

  • 1:31:34

all charges yeah really yeah he's getting like what 20 years

  • 1:31:41

hopefully not okay he's looking at potentially there you go yeah

  • 1:32:06

I ain't said nothing I'm just saying big Jersey you got it

  • 1:32:11

bro shout surprise man get well soon

  • 1:32:16

get well it's rough out there man no he's sick right now

  • 1:32:23

you can imagine [ __ ] sick all right well ah man I'm all tired of these

  • 1:32:28

topics but in other you know you know I am this is your [ __ ] no no it's not my

  • 1:32:33

[ __ ] I'm on the other side of this but um in other potential informant I guess I don't know how you want to classify it

  • 1:32:39

don't shoot me um apparently some paperwork surfaced involving P from uh quality control

  • 1:32:48

apparently someone had and this is just what I read off the paperwork I don't know

  • 1:32:54

someone had shot at him and had killed his brother brother

  • 1:33:00

and when questioned he gave a statement say who person was when he described

  • 1:33:06

them and everything so now this this has come out a lot of people are oh he's a rat he's a rat he's a rat which brings

  • 1:33:13

us back to the the age-old question exactly where does it bring us back to

  • 1:33:19

what's the question what it what is snitching essentially P responds to this

  • 1:33:24

he says I see that 300 million got them all uh got all them hate Nast [ __ ] mad

  • 1:33:29

back home anybody know me know my character our culture is so [ __ ] up it's sad y'all

  • 1:33:36

are living this imaginary Street dream I'm changing lives and changing my family curse I don't got no love for

  • 1:33:43

[ __ ] that try to kill me or mine I ain't in the streets never wanted to be I played the hand I was dealt and made

  • 1:33:50

something out of it y'all bum ass [ __ ] should do the same stop glorifying dumb [ __ ] rest in peace

  • 1:33:57

to my dog Q an innocent man with five kids who lost his life to a bum ass [ __ ] who didn't value his own I am a

  • 1:34:04

goat don't ever confuse me with a rat now take that fraudulent incident report

  • 1:34:09

and stick it up y'all ass I love my freedom so stop playing with it

  • 1:34:16

thoughts well he says it's fraudulent so that says that he's saying it's fraudulent my

  • 1:34:24

take was even if it wasn't fraudulent I don't see the beef you know my take

  • 1:34:30

so much it's a great flip you the resident

  • 1:34:36

[ __ ] Street [ __ ] interpreter so help me out Don Diva this out for me yeah yeah word

  • 1:34:42

I'm not gonna do all that floor is yours I feel like um in certain situations people

  • 1:34:50

if somebody killed your brother [ __ ] don't force me to talk

  • 1:34:56

yeah somebody killed your brother you're doing Street Justice or are you are you gonna I'm handling it the way that I was

  • 1:35:01

taught to handle it which is somebody killed my brother I'm up 300 million I'm getting them killed

  • 1:35:08

whatever why not 300 million at the time if somebody handles kills my brother I'm up a million dollars I'm getting them killed yes I am why do you think we know

  • 1:35:15

it's not true yes I am I don't believe Antoine listen if somebody kills my brother and I know who you are I'm going

  • 1:35:21

to I'm going to try my best to get you hurt off the Earth [ __ ]

sandbox like what are we talking about here these are some people really live by this cream everybody don't like some

  • 1:35:34

people don't use the streets to I'm not saying that's true that's why I was talking to y'all let's not saying I'm not saying

  • 1:35:39

Antoine I'm just saying like something dude shoots at me and hits my brother and I'm up a couple million dollars or

  • 1:35:47

whatever the case may be and I have the ability to get them killed I'm getting them killed are you not worried about it

  • 1:35:52

coming back to you yeah you would you worry but this this is the thing right

  • 1:35:59

where he is in his life I totally understand everything that he said he read it like yo I'm up I'm value my

  • 1:36:05

freedom I'm not putting my freedom in Jeopardy at 300 million I bust my ass and worked hard to get here I get it I

  • 1:36:13

don't know when this incident occurred do you know when I was trying to find out how long ago I don't know okay so I

  • 1:36:19

don't know if it happened a long time ago I don't know if it happened recently hopefully it didn't happen recently I don't think of that because the date on

  • 1:36:26

here says that looks like a two I mean 2010 yeah oh [ __ ] ten okay so oh so 13

  • 1:36:35

years ago if he made a report 13 years ago and you identified the individual

  • 1:36:41

I mean everybody is different this this is what I'm gonna say it's no right or wrong and the answer it just depends on

  • 1:36:46

the person that's assessing the data so if you lived in the streets and that's the thing they have a code and a Justice

  • 1:36:52

that goes with that life if you are civilian and you somebody breaking in your house and you call the cops it's

  • 1:36:58

okay it's not it's not wrong to do that he's just saying based on what some of these people portray and some of the uh

  • 1:37:05

quote-unquote ethics and moral rules that they run with there's a way to deal with it you're saying I agree with you

  • 1:37:11

that there is no right or wrong answer you feel how you feel you handle how you handle it right in the real world mm-hmm

  • 1:37:19

I disagree in the music business if you have a plan to further

  • 1:37:24

your life business and your peers and your

  • 1:37:29

friends and your if that's your plan you have none you're rubbing two rocks together but you got Big Dreams and

  • 1:37:34

plans no you paying to have somebody off don't

  • 1:37:40

run concurrent with those plans but but we know we know a lot of people how'd

  • 1:37:46

you start off your start matters your start is

  • 1:37:51

important so you saying that yo I don't have two rocks to rub together are you not just a civilian dude that work at a

  • 1:37:58

job and you don't have nothing together and you get this music business off the ground no you started this music this is

  • 1:38:03

predicated on Street [ __ ] and so and getting to where you are today you still were operating one foot in and one foot

  • 1:38:10

out no see I I totally I I disagree with that I don't know him so I'm not speaking about him I'm not even talking

  • 1:38:15

about demons what I'm saying is if you started a company and you started a company uh Street [ __ ] off Street [ __ ]

  • 1:38:21

it could be a [ __ ] a real estate company it don't matter it don't got to be a music business and that's the day your street [ __ ] is retired it's what

  • 1:38:27

I'm saying it's not no it's not people wanna yes it is people want to use the culture using the street money to fund

  • 1:38:33

the new adventure but the new Venture if you want to progress in advance you can

  • 1:38:38

no longer participate in the streets exactly

  • 1:38:47

ghost also didn't have a single and was shooting videos ghost was living his life we know a bunch of we you you talk

  • 1:38:55

about a bunch of these artists who are half in the street and have not there's a lot of [ __ ] still it's a whole bunch of you you bring this up a lot I know

  • 1:39:01

that's why but they doubled I'm doubling down in the second that them [ __ ] start trying to be musicians and

  • 1:39:08

entrepreneurs and label execs their street history is to its end you go in

  • 1:39:14

to surround yourself then give me the if I'm wrong then tell me the men who are examples I don't want to say no by name

  • 1:39:20

but I could why not because I don't I don't know edit them people I can tell you this until music sustains your

  • 1:39:28

livelihood that's when you leave the street [ __ ] alone and you know from starting off in

  • 1:39:34

the music business it takes a minute before it could pay all your bills and take care of your family and your friends y'all are wrong if I signed a

  • 1:39:40

record deal tomorrow as a street [ __ ] day three if I'm dope if I'm dope that's

  • 1:39:47

important if I'm dope the label is going to pay my rent the label is going to move me out of that [ __ ] neighborhood

  • 1:39:54

where all my friends in the trouble is the label is going to try their best to protect them but if I you're talking to

  • 1:39:59

us I don't know what y'all want me to say I'm talking from experience and I asked

  • 1:40:05

y'all for actual names of the people that support your argument if y'all are unable to do that but you're speaking for the five percent there's a lot of

  • 1:40:11

[ __ ] that get deals and still go back outside and participate in the streets and stop saying I don't know everybody everybody's not mature like a lot of

  • 1:40:18

    these young rappers [ __ ] like a lot of these young Rappers that's why they're getting a lot of [ __ ]

  • 1:40:24

a lot of these Street they had mixtapes running around New York City no he was not y'all

  • 1:40:32

are just talking out your ass no he was not there was no more boo when wankster

  • 1:40:37

was out that was over she wasn't on God he had a [ __ ] seven eight year run

  • 1:40:44

before wankster drop all right [Music]

  • 1:40:50

when you are in your house making music and no one is into you and it's just you

  • 1:40:55

yes you could be in the street you could do whatever the [ __ ] you want to do that's not but then you have in The

  • 1:41:01

Wrong conversation I'm talking about when you are a professional musician now I'm talking about when your money and

  • 1:41:06

your livelihood comes from music so let's have the same conversation I'm not talking about dumb [ __ ] it's many

  • 1:41:12

[ __ ] in the street trying to do music that's a fact there's nothing to argue there I'm talking about once you now are

  • 1:41:17

a musician full-time it's not the majority of musicians a lot a lot don't become

  • 1:41:23

musicians full-time there you go then give me the examples of those people musicians

  • 1:41:31

you're asking for the examples of who became musicians full-time or who didn't give me the half half time Crooks give

  • 1:41:38

me the part-time Crooks dog we just we would

  • 1:41:43

film Young Thug is in jail right now on a RICO and he was a exec with artists

  • 1:41:49

under him ton of money that was a great everything everything is my point

  • 1:41:54

out it's over and it's over what are you talking it's over for him

  • 1:42:00

yes because he didn't leave the streets you got it y'all got it y'all got it

  • 1:42:06

come on what do you mean that's what he said he's saying once you become a full-time musician let's move on come on it's okay let's move on next let's move

  • 1:42:13

on what else we got what else we got I don't yeah yeah I got on here was he a full-time was he a full-time musician

  • 1:42:20

and while he was putting hits out hits as in what they claim he was doing

  • 1:42:26

in the Streets of Atlanta was he a full-time musician while he was doing that can you answer my question I don't think so no from what I heard yes

  • 1:42:33

you can no you can't be cannot be is my entire argument and that's what I kept saying not many become full-time

  • 1:42:39

musicians that's what I said you said give me the examples so I'm giving you an example of one who did not become a

  • 1:42:44

full-time musician get you tell me who did become full-time musicians

  • 1:42:49

man of them who you told me the name who I named one uh Jay

  • 1:42:56

-z let's start there it's an anomaly okay 50 Cent Snoop at a certain all of these all it

  • 1:43:04

is great at a certain points no doubt Jay-Z was

  • 1:43:10

no longer in Marcy Projects on a murder charge while he was hot yes

  • 1:43:17

Jay-Z was on tour Jay-Z was on moving around doing shows and got locked murder

  • 1:43:24

charge is not my argument here you can get a murder charge by protecting yourself you could protect yourself while you're a musician

  • 1:43:31

okay I got it all right tomatoes him I got you hey yeah it's different everybody

  • 1:43:37

do that there's a lot of [ __ ] outside that do get deals that become full-time musicians but that cannot leave the

  • 1:43:43

street alone that's what I'm saying another thing we talking

  • 1:43:48

artists versus exact and artist versus exact is a whole different uh thing too

  • 1:43:53

as an artist yeah the label gonna take care of you the label gonna put you somewhere to live in your example and

  • 1:43:59

you're bringing all them [ __ ] if you are an exec do they get budgets

  • 1:44:04

to to perform I don't know I'm asking you know exactly is not performing what do

  • 1:44:10

you mean that's my point so now if you want to understand what you're saying I'm about to explain I'm gonna wrap it up if you are an exec and you got

  • 1:44:17

artists and you're a street person tell me how you as an exec now leave the

  • 1:44:22

streets alone and still get hot as an exec and got a label and all that other [ __ ] if the if the the source of your

  • 1:44:28

funds comes from the streets until you go sign the Cash Money Universal 35 million dollar deal until

  • 1:44:35

you do certain [ __ ] you funding your whole entire operation with Street money

  • 1:44:41

so you have one foot in the streets and one foot in the studio until you get that check

  • 1:44:47

that's the point I'm talking about that y'all keep refuting that is the point I'm talking about I'm not talking about anything that you had to do to get to

  • 1:44:54

that point I'm talking about your behavior once you got to that point that's what I'm talking about yeah I

  • 1:45:01

know you left it alone no I don't know what you're saying if that's what you're saying once you get the check I've been saying that from the beginning you

  • 1:45:08

cannot steal second base and keep your foot on first if you are actively trying

  • 1:45:13

to be a full-time exec or musician there is no way for you to be successful in

  • 1:45:21

your street [ __ ] and successful in music and if I'm wrong then I'll wait for the example

  • 1:45:28

yeah I don't get what y'all be talking about you know a whole bunch of people like this I don't I I want us to be very

  • 1:45:33

clear on the [ __ ] that we start arguing out here these [ __ ] are out here trying to do both

  • 1:45:39

because somebody made them believe they can do both and they're throwing away a

  • 1:45:45

real legit legal opportunity at some [ __ ] for what because you want to go shoot at a [ __ ] okay because you want

  • 1:45:52

to deal a pack or cause you win a game or because you're tough maybe it makes sense

  • 1:45:58

not to me not to none of the street [ __ ] I know they was dying to buy a

  • 1:46:03

barber shop or a laundromat or find an artist or clean some [ __ ] up so we don't have to live like this no more it's only

  • 1:46:10

in stupid ass hip hop do we keep incentivizing people to live like this

  • 1:46:15

it's aggravating to listen to so you so now you see a [ __ ] that's 500 M's up he

  • 1:46:22

did it in a short span 10 [ __ ] years that ain't that ain't a long time to get

  • 1:46:27

    500 M's and he's saying y'all I'm not a street [ __ ] I ain't with none of that I'm changing my family curse I'm changing

  • 1:46:33

this I'm not with the I'm not with none of that somebody shot at my brother I ran after him I shot at him and yeah I described him to the police he's saying

  • 1:46:39

it and here comes stupid ass hip hop or your snitch yeah all right maybe he is yeah maybe he

  • 1:46:47

is when people use the culture to what they want to use it to their advantage until it's no longer advantages and

  • 1:46:52

advantageous or as long as they can't take advantage of it no longer or it doesn't work into their favor I hate

  • 1:46:58

when [ __ ] do that you have to get if you're going to do that it's ways to do it and do it properly you know what I'm saying when they use the culture when

  • 1:47:04

all the [ __ ] rap about killing gun guns and all the [ __ ] in the street that was in the label and all this [ __ ] was going on [ __ ] at dice games and

  • 1:47:09

all that [ __ ] all that [ __ ] funded certain things right and then now when

  • 1:47:15

paperwork come out yo make no mistake hold on now that paper when paperwork come out no now that paperwork came out

  • 1:47:21

and it's a different stance on certain things oh no I'm not and which is cool

  • 1:47:26

you can live your life but you'll you are subjected to ridicule yeah I think as you grow you you put away childish

  • 1:47:33

things right a quote in the Bible which is cool it's a fact I'm not I'm not disrespecting that I'm saying that

  • 1:47:40

um we kind of move the goal post in this conversation but in starting that if you were in the

  • 1:47:47

streets and that was the source of your funds then during that time you came along what went with how you was getting

  • 1:47:52

your funds I'm not saying that he can't think that

  • 1:47:58

he think this [ __ ] this is what comes with it that's it this is what's going to come with it you can't knock the

  • 1:48:03

whole coach this is where we come from but what they're going to do about it now that's that's kind of what I took from what they gonna do about it okay

  • 1:48:09

well I don't know whoever they uh anybody with a problem anybody who got a problem with that he's up 300 M's

  • 1:48:15

hopefully he you know he invests his money properly and you know no stay up yeah and also would you care

  • 1:48:20

that that's all he's saying yo whatever y'all talking about I mean you can't if

  • 1:48:25

the [ __ ] if you're pissed but I doubt his peers is even thinking like that so no

  • 1:48:31

when you have 300 million dollars your peer group is very different changed

  • 1:48:36

it's definitely changed so all the [ __ ] down here that are talking about the street [ __ ] yeah I've seen all

  • 1:48:43

right your parent group changes at 300 million it changes but that's these [ __ ] These [ __ ] be happy calling p

  • 1:48:50

calling them a snitch Master P is not calling calling a snitch babies not doing it [ __ ] uh Pharrell's not doing

  • 1:48:57

it Snoop nobody Coach K ain't doing it the Glenn is not doing it who do y'all think is

  • 1:49:04

picking up the phone to call this very successful businessman a snitch

  • 1:49:10

what so you don't think that he still has

  • 1:49:17

friends that live by or people or say puffy will have some [ __ ] from the

  • 1:49:23

house that live by any Street codes you don't think you just think they just all the street [ __ ] is no longer can come around and stuff like that because you

  • 1:49:29

know like that's like a street [ __ ] come here with me yo and I think that I'm actually a question and I'm trying

  • 1:49:35

to answer it so you know what I'm gonna ask already so answer thank you okay I think that the street [ __ ] at that

  • 1:49:42

level live by a different code than the ones that we keep referring to got it okay

  • 1:49:48

I've seen Street [ __ ] go into different buildings with their mans and say how they feel to other [ __ ] I've

  • 1:49:54

seen it so you still are subjected to ridicule in person do they have 300 million dollars

  • 1:50:00

no but the 300 million dollars the millionaire is affected because nobody about the millionaire we're not talking about millionaires we talk about I want

  • 1:50:06

to hear about no millionaire the person that's being accused will be affected if my man came in here and told him you're a rat I don't care about that part

  • 1:50:13

that's what I'm talking about what I'm saying to you is do they have 300

  • 1:50:18

million dollars no what I started this podcast with about Alby Al what parks

  • 1:50:24

and Ice started talking about with Dirk and that record with J Cole and the kids is changes and discipline got it

  • 1:50:31

maturity and evolution and numb [ __ ] that everybody was

  • 1:50:37

scared of at some point start to learn that it costs money for people to be

  • 1:50:42

afraid of me it costs money when I go bust my gun and let [ __ ] know broad

  • 1:50:47

daylight I I I get it in don't play with me blah blah blah blah blah you are losing money

  • 1:50:53

so you either gonna devote yourself to that or you're not pee for Mad long now I

  • 1:50:59

sound like I'm caping has devoted himself God I agree to music I agree he lucked up found a group yes his business

  • 1:51:08

found an investor found a group that would go on to change [ __ ] music we don't put enough stock in what some of

  • 1:51:13

the men have accomplished that we'd be talking about it's not easy or who the

  • 1:51:19

    [ __ ] are you keyboard Warrior [ __ ] in the living room the same snitch and I'm not saying y'all are wrong I'm a [ __ ]

  • 1:51:25

civilian but who what now what you gonna do now you know the part that really you know the part that really really get me

  • 1:51:30

about that [ __ ] though them same keyboard Warriors put them in his shoes

  • 1:51:35

put them in this y'all calling them a snitch the reports say he ran after the [ __ ] and shot at them too they're not

  • 1:51:44

okay listen dog I digress hey what you want I'm a civilian I have no I have no horse in the race saying I have no horse

  • 1:51:50

in the race don't shoot at me shout out to Pete if somebody killed my brother and I have a description I'm going to give that

  • 1:51:56

description to the police for that plan to run concurrent with whatever I'm doing yeah y'all better find them before me

  • 1:52:03

that's my favorite line when they come up in the miniseries find them before I do yeah

  • 1:52:10

    now fun vibes

  • 1:52:15

anything fun so let's see who's going to tell me about um they're asking Omari

  • 1:52:21

Hardwick to reprise the roller ghost oh nah I like this story

  • 1:52:29

huh it's gonna be ghost ghost no Slow Down slow down ain't no roll coming back oh ghost has done it an

  • 1:52:36

interview where and I have it here where he's saying I was underpaid

  • 1:52:43

y'all know I've been waiting for the ghost team well maybe y'all don't know he's been saying it for a minute I've been waiting for the ghost team for a

  • 1:52:49

while so there's a few of them but yeah he said he was underpaid he said he

  • 1:52:56

was making a hundred and fifty thousand dollars per episode for power

  • 1:53:02

and he said when he went back to try to you know day I said and that was how it was the

  • 1:53:11

end of it but when they when they came back to negotiate and he sent his return they didn't you know here to just be the

  • 1:53:19

perfect thing they were they asked me before to come back they asked me in the last year and a half to come out when I

  • 1:53:24

was off of this when I was in Boston reading this script I was in Boston saying okay then this

  • 1:53:33

and then then this went to stars and then they didn't come back giving me what I wanted under than this

  • 1:53:40

so if they gave me then this if they give me you know what I mean yeah if you pay me my number then I'll

  • 1:53:47

come back to work yeah you know they're right that but you didn't pay me my number and a lot of times we get tricked with

  • 1:53:53

what we're making right he made a hundred and fifty thousand dollars a week that sounds like a big number I've

  • 1:54:00

had Network jobs where I made 50 Grand per episode and that sounds like a lot

  • 1:54:07

but if there's a cap on the episode and then you take a vacation here you did 10 episodes 10 times 1.5 it's I mean uh a

  • 1:54:15

buck 50 is what I heard that I heard that's not much money I heard that before he was but he said um

  • 1:54:21

he he dressed it up he tiptoed a little bit he was like um but when he started

  • 1:54:26

he he was broke but he said he had to borrow 20 grand for 50 Cent or some [ __ ] like I heard the whole interview a nice

  • 1:54:33

part of the interview so he was like but you know as you moving along and like you saying in the beginning that's a lot

  • 1:54:38

so you're gonna take that but as you move along we got the how to show on TV you seeing where I potentially should be

  • 1:54:45

making X but they only paying me why because I'm getting still paid at the ground level now I want some more bread

  • 1:54:51

and they don't be really really like soprano sex and they said they all went through that you know they wasn't paying

  • 1:54:58

Tony Soprano HBO wasn't trying to pay Tony Soprano them [ __ ] had the hottest show on TV they did but then they paid

  • 1:55:04

them they did pay him then they paid every last one and they took a long time to pay him I don't know I'd have to

  • 1:55:09

Google it very long but I remember but they paid in in this instance they never

  • 1:55:14

paid them and Powell went on for Five Seasons business I'm not well maybe more yeah it might have been five or six I'm

  • 1:55:21

not I'm not faulting 50 for that I believe 50 every year he got on the internet and said yo stars is [ __ ]

  • 1:55:27

with me I hate them [ __ ] I believed him so the same problem that Amari is experiencing I believe 50 was experienced I believe that no I ain't

  • 1:55:33

    blame 50. you

  • 1:55:43

as an actor you're incentivized um by the fact that your performance and

  • 1:55:48

the ratings you know I mean like that's the incentive for the contract to get be renegotiated every single season I agree

  • 1:55:55

it would shock me if it's season six he was making a hundred and fifty thousand

  • 1:56:00

dollars an episode that would be shocking to me that because that's a very low number

  • 1:56:08

in terms of in terms of like the popularity of the show the ratings I

  • 1:56:13

mean they'll learn about this entertainment [ __ ] no I know I feel like not to make erases but I feel like

  • 1:56:20

that's why people are looking at numbers back there and we see your offer you're asking for more than the 1.5 million you

  • 1:56:27

make a season you're our lead let's say now you want just make up number three four four four and you deserve four yeah

  • 1:56:34

what a job you've done but I do have a plan b c and d and in those plans I have the little kid

  • 1:56:41

who only wants two hundred thousand I have like it's the numbers it's numbers back there hey I loved you I wish we

  • 1:56:48

could work with you but no do I think it's [ __ ] up yes because they do it to black people all time yeah

  • 1:56:54

do it all the time they bring it back that [ __ ] gonna go now I wonder if he should have bailed

  • 1:57:01

when it was tougher to kill him out of the story

  • 1:57:07

that's why I think what happens is he tried to dress leverage I think [ __ ] be loyal to a certain extent

  • 1:57:14

and so you won't necessarily want to just be like yo [ __ ] y'all I'm playing Hardball wow I'm Fish Grease hot y'all

  • 1:57:21

gotta renegotiate me you think that somebody gonna do right by you maybe at the end of the three years you know what

  • 1:57:26

I'm saying or at the end of the term and they may not and so now they start making potential changes so that if we

  • 1:57:33

don't work out with him he's gone yeah we gotta out yeah you get what I'm saying like that's what yeah but I think all entertainers should now adopt what

  • 1:57:39

the athletes are doing which is mid contract in the middle of this contract right now when y'all need me most nah

  • 1:57:47

I'll stay home charge me I'll pay it because it's expensive but it's worth it I think I think entertainers need to

  • 1:57:53

start doing the same thing using their status as Leverage

  • 1:58:03

no continuity of the story where they are that's the position where where they

  • 1:58:08

are [ __ ] me and I'm so great and I'm so big you must do what I say it's where they are it's tough to tough to write me

  • 1:58:15

out when they're uh in season three when the building's on fire and ghosts and 50 is like all right now this

  • 1:58:21

conversational hey Lamar Jackson perfect y'all but the whole team around

  • 1:58:26

me I think I think um you I'm not disagreeing with you I just think that in in the entertainment business is new

  • 1:58:32

to me as we all know I'm just thinking that um a lot of times from what I've heard and especially in the motion picture

  • 1:58:39

business they'll blackball you though like you do some [ __ ] like that they label you hard to work with you won't

  • 1:58:44

work again you know what I'm saying like they'll do some [ __ ] like that to where all right you you did that though all right cool

  • 1:58:51

stay there we'll see we'll see we'll see what your numbers fall I mean we'll see where your next job come from Well yeah

  • 1:58:57

if I try to pull my black ball move with Lucian or Jimmy iveen then those people

  • 1:59:03

    can put a mask they could step on some [ __ ] if I'm just [ __ ] over [ __ ] Joe

  • 1:59:09

Shmo from up the street the industry may not look at that the same way Joe Schmo don't have that power doing that with

  • 1:59:14

stars please yes I would handle stars star Stars just got I'm the reason you got

  • 1:59:20

popping see that's the thing these shows that we be talking about and these people be going to platforms that have

  • 1:59:27

very little going on and then they build them up we build them up build them up build them up and then when they get

  • 1:59:32

built up you start talking to us like [ __ ] but no that's it's too common it's too common it's too common but starting

  • 1:59:38

sometimes at the beginning though you know you'd be so eager to get on you're not thinking like that you're just glad

  • 1:59:43

that you have this opportunity I don't think people look and again I think that should a future I don't think

  • 1:59:48

that you think people gonna do right by you like we came up together like they were businesses

  • 1:59:55

we knew it I mean there was nothing there to make us go

  • 2:00:00

exactly right and then when [ __ ] was looking forward to that music every Sunday Big Rich Town yeah so once we up

  • 2:00:08

now you thinking that yo we Rose together we're gonna get a couple dollars y'all gonna see my value because everybody see my value right and then

  • 2:00:15

they say nah we see a value but we got other options we got other options yeah

  • 2:00:21

listen man shout out to ghosts I wish we could have got another one what

  • 2:00:27

and the way the snowfall ended it really has made Power snowfall a real conversation

  • 2:00:32

huh with the way the snowfall ended on such a high and such a great glorious note

  • 2:00:40

it doesn't make it so uh egregious when someone tries to compare snowfall and power power power ghost power

  • 2:00:48

    snowfall and Power yes

  • 2:00:56

wait hold on wait what which one you think better he's saying snow

  • 2:01:01

he's saying power doesn't even belong in the same conversation

  • 2:01:07

not even the first couple of seasons of power the first couple Seasons

  • 2:01:14

had a [ __ ] season with tigers and lions one one and I really like that season and even in that there was still

  • 2:01:20

good episodes on that season we did I definitely did I'm not mad at what you're all saying I

  • 2:01:27

may even agree I'm just not ready to dismiss the people that have that they killed Angela [ __ ] it used to be a

  • 2:01:34

debate that guy laughed at but I don't think it gets laughed at no more

  • 2:01:40

who killed the Tommy all right baby I'm stupid what really makes it a conversation is you got people that feel

  • 2:01:45

like flip and you got people that feel like y'all which validates the argument y'all think Snowfall by far I never saw

  • 2:01:52

    snowfall though I'm so phony

  • 2:02:00

yeah it's hatred that's my man watch your mouth

  • 2:02:09

um yo let's do it stop hurry up going off what

  • 2:02:15

else what else what else what else uh Rihanna and ASAP Melissa was really happy to come in here and tell us about their baby's name apparently they named

  • 2:02:23

him Rizza podcasters say apparently for anything no they named him no no you got to say apparently because just in case

  • 2:02:29

yeah I just I I don't I don't want any [ __ ] smoke no no man smoking no you did want some smoke before the part

  • 2:02:34

started but you backed off it um

  • 2:02:50

um yeah so they named him after after Rizza

  • 2:03:03

no no trust me this is nothing to do with you guys has everything to do so

  • 2:03:09

[ __ ] preservation no it doesn't no yeah you give me a little hand little hand a little hint h i okay she said uh

  • 2:03:17

I didn't say anything I didn't say nothing all right somebody said did you happen to him I didn't say I happen to

  • 2:03:23

see an eclipse on no no performance I saw a couple cleaners

  • 2:03:30

I asked him what he thought about her wardrobe do you think about wardrobe now what I

  • 2:03:36

thought about the show move them right along we just talked about the show and yeah

  • 2:03:43

stuff well just know whatever she had to say about the show when she was finished I said you sure you sure they made a

  • 2:03:53

whole show called swarm about what happens apparently she dissed it okay

  • 2:04:00

Beyonce what apparently there was a little shot she took at swarm

  • 2:04:06

oh okay she like that [ __ ] meaning like my fans aren't like that

  • 2:04:12

yeah they're fans my fans aren't crazy and you're kind of using my [ __ ] without paying me Beyonce tour projected to be

  • 2:04:20

the highest highest grossing Tour Ever 17 million dollars

  • 2:04:26

anywhere 2.1 Bill she's hurt me tickets

  • 2:04:32

mm-hmm Beyonce what is there to live for when

  • 2:04:37

you got that type of power Legacy said Blue Ivy rumia sir

  • 2:04:44

having your name on the buildings that last for 100 years streets and Roads and [ __ ] yeah

  • 2:04:51

God bless you but hold listen y'all playing that [ __ ] whole National Bank let me tell you that let me tell you

  • 2:04:58

about that Sean Carter boy casinos right yeah but yes but how he has been leading

  • 2:05:06

up leading up and setting himself up politically outside of that Roger

  • 2:05:12

Goodell football [ __ ] outside of his endorsement of Eric Adams his Obama

  • 2:05:18

endorsement he has been setting himself up just for so when I picked up the

  • 2:05:24

paper and saw Jay-Z wants to bring uh Caesar's Palace

  • 2:05:29

square and the crazy for the four floors in this building they showed a picture I

  • 2:05:36

know what that's going to be like hitting the elevator he says Jay-Z's partnership they're used to use them

  • 2:05:43

right with Caesars is petitioning to

  • 2:05:48

bring this to Times Square they expect to gross this amount over this year the

  • 2:05:54

amount of years they're gonna donate this amount of money to the Broadway plays he playing Big Time ball

  • 2:06:06

  • 2:06:40

safe you drive by Times Square now it's [ __ ] dancing and the skateboarder come throw mud on your car hey

  • 2:06:47

this is why they got them them [ __ ] robots I'm just saying they focused on

  • 2:06:52

music whole whole catalog I sound real different when you listen to it now period with the things he's doing it

  • 2:06:59

sounds nuts that [ __ ] sounds I had one percent of a team over here I

  • 2:07:06

tried it this stupid ass hip hop like you see that you saw the transition yeah like you saw it gradually with

  • 2:07:13

whole transition May hold great was he told you about it before it all happened that's what made me talk about

  • 2:07:19

Scooby-Doo freestyle when this happens I want you

  • 2:07:25

to go back and look to this as a prophecy and that's what makes us really misogynistic this was our Beyonce time

  • 2:07:35

to be what she was joking

  • 2:08:02

    [Laughter]

  • 2:08:07

okay so are you guys going to the Beyonce concert when she when it gets here I don't think I got enough money

  • 2:08:13

  • 2:08:19

that would be a nice show to go to when Hove had his b-sides concert that

  • 2:08:25

was the first time I hit him and asked for tickets because that was important but I don't think I would have asked for

  • 2:08:30

    to craft says it's blunt

  • 2:20:47

okay which animal would be the most dangerous if you made it human-sized for

  • 2:20:55

example a shark would have to shrink to human size a lion would stay the same size or

  • 2:21:01

smaller and an ant would become six feet tall it's blunt again I was gonna say

  • 2:21:16

or some [ __ ] you think a human-sized spider would be the the most dangerous that's pretty bad

  • 2:21:23

too a venomous one yeah yeah you're right get over here

  • 2:21:31

those ants are dangerous if they were big oh man yeah

little bit of class I'm saying going out because I do believe the series to be done but I'm hopeful I'm hopeful and I'm

  • 2:23:36

still rooting for my guys but listen this playoffs I'm not gonna lie to you the TV schedule let me tell

  • 2:23:43

you what the TV schedule is game six for the Knicks is tonight if

  • 2:23:48

they win let's force a game seven to be played Sunday wait Sunday yes every other day now game

  • 2:23:56

one of the Eastern Conference Finals is Tuesday game two is Thursday game three is

  • 2:24:05

Saturday game four is Monday there is no three-day break

  • 2:24:10

or two day break between these games so I asked what me and you was talking over

  • 2:24:15

there and you talking about how Philly looked it's a problem for me that the TV

  • 2:24:21

schedule is like this the injuries we don't this is not this is not this is but they got to do what they got to do

  • 2:24:26

it's a business hopefully Miami has the same problem with their players

  • 2:24:34

and we could force the game seven but if not I do hope that they change the TV schedule next next year or just put more

  • 2:24:40

consideration to the to the players and their bodies think about that the product you're putting on the Friday night game and then the Sunday game be

  • 2:24:48

Sunday one o'clock so that ain't even a full you know what I'm saying 48 hours of rush you right back at it that's what

  • 2:24:55

    I'm looking at foreign

  • 2:25:03

I don't want to fly from Miami to New York uh with one day practice play I'm

  • 2:25:10

not just I'm just saying imagine worse you know what I'm saying like imagine if like uh Golden State Lakers it's both in

  • 2:25:16

California right you know what I'm saying so it's not that long of a flight dog imagine if it was like a Midwest

  • 2:25:22

team in the east coast Chicago Miami Denver Phoenix yes

  • 2:25:31

yes talk to me about how you feel about each of your teams

  • 2:25:38

I think the Sixers should have been I mean I get what you said about TV schedule and all of that hopefully going

  • 2:25:43

into game seven it'll be a little different because we do get two days but um they were supposed to win that game he was supposed to win the game

  • 2:25:49

like they fall all the way back twice twice defense was down 16 twice couldn't

  • 2:25:57

make a bucket couldn't go to this that last Christopher three three minutes or so just I I literally watched him

  • 2:26:03

beating heart and quit want to play Christopher club and it was it was once once uh once Tatum

  • 2:26:09

called well no once he once he hit that second three in a row it was like they just gave up oh he's hot now

  • 2:26:15

    [ __ ] it like y'all had it yeah I had it I don't think going into a hostel

  • 2:26:21

Boston for game seven you asking a lot you asking him to win the third game

  • 2:26:28

in Boston could happen but it could I'm just uh yeah it could I don't like I don't close

  • 2:26:36

yeah I think the Knicks could win in seven but am I hopeful about that I'm

  • 2:26:41

not man we'll see like Miami's a jump shooting team hopefully this TV schedule

  • 2:26:46

wears on those legs and they can't get all the way up pause to get the shot up we'll see either way

  • 2:26:53

I'm watching that game win or lose I'm really happy with uh the team's

  • 2:26:58
