was great this weekend I went by Kings Plaza and stood in front of the co toys of rust and just reminisce for like 3

to my childhood and I just sat there for three hours and just sted that could be a charge really you case in the joint

watched the first um cuz it was it was two nights Saturday and Sunday um they played two episodes Saturday night and

then two episodes Sunday night an hour each or two hours each an hour each okay so that's so it's four hours in total

yeah that's not bad M I couldn't watch the second night it sounded intense to the point where I didn't want to watch

it and I've had family members that went through some dementia [ __ ] yeah they were much older than her like I that's

traumatic for me I'm not watching this [ __ ] this [ __ ] was bad no my girl told my girl bad my girl hit me she said yo

did you see the Wy Willams thing did are y'all going to talk about the Wendy Williams thing I'm like of course we're

gonna talk about it excuse me Joe is a friend of Wendy you know what I'm

saying like Joe is admiring Wendy you know she helped him on his his journey

whatever the case maybe we we touched on it my girl said yo it's a lot my girl said yo dog I couldn't stop crying I've

seen all four parts she said yo she's like yo I couldn't stop crying so I watched it I and then I spoke to ice and

Ice was like yo it's tough yeah like I could see how your girl would be crying you know what I'm saying so I cut it on

I watched the first episode um the first episode 's name is

I'm not a crier mhm that's the name of the episode and it basically like within 3 minutes she's cing she's cried she

cried the entire episode right so um I

gotta we talked about how maybe this was an attention Ploy of some sort it's not

no not at all it's not like the very first scene when they cut the camera on

um they show her from waist down m I'm not lying to you my [ __ ] her leg is the

size of your arm she I'm not joking her leg is the size of your arm and then um

part of her elment um spoiler to anybody listening her feet she she's got

lymphadema but she's always been very vocal about having it but I guess it's it's yeah it's different there's no cure

for it and it's getting progressively worse and it's it's a very visual um you

know ailment and it's jarring to see in person or to see up close um I watch all

four parts um and it was having sat with Wendy

numerous times over the course of my career I've been interviewed by Wendy at least no I mean three times I let me

tell you something I was terrified the first time I went to set to sit up on Wendy's show I was so [ __ ] scared

like mouth dry like sweating because she was just she was and yeah she was larger

than life um but she was she was dope she really was like all my experiences

with her were really really great um and the last time that I saw her was um in

2021 actually um so it's kind of around

the time yeah it's not that long ago it's not that long ago where they I think they start filming her in 2022 if

I'm not mistaken I think I read I read an interview with producers and directors 2019 so yeah so what what

begins to happen is because the filmmakers you know Annie is the parent company of Lifetime they've started they

spoke out to The Hollywood Reporter as a result of this you know the overwhelming criticism as to why did you people film

her like how could you do this you are complicit um in the exploitation of Wendy and they basically said this was

posed as a comeback story for her we didn't know what the reality was and

that's the thing about dementia and Alzheimer's and any kind of cognitive decline is it's not immediate it's not

immediate upfront you know what I mean it starts with like you know behavior that you kind of can't pinpoint you

don't understand you kind of make excuses for it or you know find reasons to explain it away and stuff like that

and then when it starts to become like you know consistent behavior and whatever the case like erratic uh

Behavior aggressive then it becomes undeniable but also if you're if you're not a professional if you're not a

medical professional you can't necessarily diagnose it cool yeah I want

I'm I'm not rolling with none of that they say me either like cuz one of the the other quote was we didn't know she had dementia we didn't know anything

about this diagnosis had we known we wouldn't have had a camera rolling they didn't know anything until her son said something so MH and like I said I only

saw the first two parts I saw the first two I saw enough in there to know that something to the point where the producers was like okay we need to stop

we need to get out let's just stop this something's not right you were clear enough to see I don't care how we POS it

as a comeback story there's something else going on here and so now that you're getting so much negative press

don't try to flip it and say oh this was just like the shorty walked in the room

spoiler alert for anybody who hasn't seen it um they went in there it was supposed to been filming her the day that she was doing the uh giveaway of

her of of or selling off her her stuff and they went in there and she was like completely knocked out mouth wide open

there like yo we don't know yo we got to call somebody get somebody up here we don't know if if she was even still with

us at the moment MH all right my [ __ ] and then y' aired that yeah that's my

thing y'all saw this right and aired it yeah y'all literally and again I I when

we spoke before I told y'all I understood some people stance on not giving her grace and I that's not this

not this I feel like this is exploitation cut after watching this man

it just made me more mad at everyone else and I'll tell you why um we've watched you know like I said they start

a film in 2019 we watch the dementia uh become aggressive right we

watch it in real time we watch her slowly start to deteriorate um and it was unfortunate

yes I feel like they was exploiting Wendy and I feel like that the people that were out there talking about that

[ __ ] and saying this Karma it pissed me off even more you know we watching this [ __ ] that Karma has nothing to do with

that we try to mix Karma and life you can't avoid being hit by a car right if it's just time to go it's your time to

go you can't avoid certain things happening like if if if somebody get hit by a car that lived a positive life was

that Karma like we Tred to convolute the two a lot like mix the two and I don't like that so I was mad and I was hurt

behind it and on top of that I understand because like I said

everything needs to be it doesn't need to be filmed but today in the society that we're living in everything is

filmed I get it they signed up for it cool um it made me have more questions

about the family and how she didn't want to be around her family but she did and

and made me mad at her manager a little bit I don't know how people feel about him but I was a little mad at him a lot

of people when I've seen all for parts and a lot of people after watching the entire thing just you know what we saw

was just people out of their depth you know in terms of like understanding what they're really actually dealing with and

they're oh here's the thing also a lot of people have

for lack of a better word their livelihood relies on her and in that way

that in itself is a kind of parasitic relationship and it's imbalanced and so

when you're thinking there's no way that you're going to be thinking about you know you're going to be thinking

completely altruistic and it's all about her health and shut everything down because at the end of the day your

bottom line will be affected if she longer works Age and what this also was

I don't know I feel like a lot of things were happening all at the same time the family wanted this to be an indictment on the guardianship um and wanted to

kind of like highlight um you know a broken system in terms of

conservatorship and guardianship and that sort of thing we don't hear from the Guardians we see like a lot of black

screens and texts kind of explaining you know this that and the other but something has to happen in order for the

courts to step in that's the reality something has to happen and so I think that it would have behooved the guardian

you know to have had some kind of you know participation in this for them to

kind of understand because then it was just left up to the family to just explain how much they feel that they've

been kind of that Wendy's been T being taken advantage of or not looked after her best interests aren't being lo you

know taken into account and that sort of thing but at the end of the day it was

it was horrifying to watch like one of the most one of the one of the scenes that really where like I was crying was

when Black China came to sorry Angela um came to see her and it was I saw the

clip though that's the clip that we talked about the other day I saw that clip but it was like it was just it it

was it was it was breathtaking in her in terms of how sad it was and how strong

Angela was and how you could just read on her face just like it was a lot it

was a lot I'll just say that so um I'm sure we'll talk a little bit more about it when Joe gets back because I wanted

to piggy back on what you said about um the manager I don't know the

gentleman um a lot of what he was doing was like uh pacifying her you know what I'm

saying and every scene he has some fly [ __ ] on I peep that every scene he has Jew I don't care yeah he is every scene

he has some fly [ __ ] on and uh it was a it was a point in the movie when they

went back home to perfect n boy like she went to her whole house where she grew uph asbery Park Asberry Park I'm sorry

and uh he she's sitting on the steps and she was getting mad love what you can tell was she really is addicted to the

Limelight and the life that that's where she gets her value and her love from so

whatever she had going on behind closed doors I don't think it was necessarily fulfilling she got the love from the

people the Wendy the wi the how you doing all of that that it made you feel like you was loved and you was a part of

something so there was a point where she went back to um Asberry Park and uh

everybody was coming up to her truck like shaking her hand I just want to hug you I just want to touch you and she sat on the steps and was like yo I got to

get back on TV wow like it didn't matter that my health is [ __ ] up it didn't matter that my life was [ __ ] up none

of that stuff matter you know what matter that I got to get on TV any any photo op she stopped She would be in the

middle of a rant telling somebody off cursing him out somebody like yo can we get a picture like come here like I'm

cursing ice out right and then somebody pull up a camera now I'm hugging ice like that's what she was on so it that

was a little crazy too to see like yo regardless of how much money she had the only thing that she really seemingly was

was focused on was my son and the Limelight yeah fame fame was think I

think it was her her brother or something that spoke and he said like she told him before she got her start

that that's where she was going her father her father said that and um I think it was her father her brother it was a brother and then there was there

was a scene in a restaurant where they walked in and she didn't like the seat because the seat was her back was facing

people and she's like no I need to sit here so I can be seen like it just spoke to the level of addiction to the fame I

think I think that you know in closing yeah you know uh I think that the lady not the lady I think that

Wendy um had a team around her that was in over their heads um I don't think

like Mel said I don't think they were they're not psychiatrist psychologist but they were but even how he was speaking to her and it's just certain

things heating her yeah definitely he was he was definitely plating her to an extent though to an extent to an extent

because there was times where he like in that same restaurant scene he walked up and talked to the wa yo listen do not

give her Al alcohol make her something that could look like that but no alcohol at all you walk in the house you see she

done drank half a bottle you took all right well okay cool we're not going to throw it I'm just going to go put it to keep it cold you know I'm I'm telling

you what you need to hear but I'm really doing something that that's a form of cating yeah do you do you I'm going to

ask you a question Ma and I'm going to ask the room do you feel like an approach like that when you're dealing

with an alcoholic or an addict do you feel like an aggressive aggressive approach is necessary well that's here's

the here's the thing is like it's all these things are happening at the same time so you know alcohol itself is a

neurotoxin it's literally a brain toxin it's poison for your brain so somebody who's having you know who's showing

signs of cognitive decline or what we now know is dementia and

Aphasia that is literally the worst thing that she could be doing it's literally eating her brain you know what

I mean and like any if there's any healthy parts that's not helping you know the problem is that Wendy also

expressed how much she likes to drink it's not even just about alcoholism where it's an addiction to drinking it's

she actually likes to drink she likes the taste she has preferences and so and

this is also a form of you know self-medicating and self- soothing that has been a part of her life for an

extremely long time so these are this is such an uphill battle for people who are

so out of their depth to deal with that that's what we were watching we were

watching an 18 car derailment like train wreck right in front of us that was what I found to be so jarring and so shocking

about the whole thing is that is that this is also the progression over the course of like a year and a half almost

two years years because if you remember in the first episode she's she's saying yeah I'm being forced to go see these

doctors you know the only doctor I need is a thyroid doctor but now they're making me see a neurologist and a

psychiatrist which are brain doctors and this is before way before the diagnosis

comes out and so when you see that this is what she's have what she's being forced to deal with it's because

somebody stepped in a court stepped in and assessed you are not you know you you don't have your all all your

faculties and you need to be assessed by a medical team correct and like when she left and was down there with her son and

him M the courts asked you know do you want him here no I I need to be away from him so they listen to that as okay

these are the people that are possibly not doing right by you if you're trying to get away from them when really the

sun didn't want you didn't want the sun around because the sun wouldn't allow alcohol around yeah so when so to the

just looking at the courts view from the outside looking in okay this person is saying I need to be away from my family

we can't trust the family with something we do need to put somebody in here to protect her yeah but then when when it comes to dementia and and um Alzheimer's

your answers change day to day hour to hour you know what I mean like you might not even remember that you even said

that I'm going to retract my statement to the manager that's a hard task that they are um put with because I agree

with that it's a couple things one yeah they not professionals but professionals don't love the person professionals are

only speaking from a totally objective stance these are people that love this lady M so yeah you can't just be totally

100% aggressive this is somebody that you love and somebody that you watched you know what I mean that that might

have been good to you 10 years ago you might have been out on your ass like when you hear the DJ dude talking like

your dog she I became her DJ it was at a point in time he said well I was the only person that was coming to her house

to check on her so um I'mma shoot them some bell and saying that I can't it got

to be a give and take I got to pacify you a little bit but I got to be rough over here a little bit you get what I'm saying so I I I definitely agree with

that um it's a really touchy thing to handle and I don't think professionals I think needs to be a joint effort it does

I don't think it could just be professionals cuz again professionals don't have um an emotional attachment to you you

get what I'm saying they don't have an emotional attachment to you they just doing their job and so um you I think it needs to be a combination of the two it

was really hard to watch I didn't even get all four episodes the two episodes for me were really really hard to watch

and think that um lifetime needs to be a shame for putting that I Ain like that cop out I ain't going to hold you I'm

with you I'm with you and I only got the two episodes so that's my that's my stance yeah well that everybody was

talking about it online it was it was a trending it was trending a trending topic for like all weekend and it was

just prayers to everyone invol we love you like Jo say love you Legend prayer

to everybody involved and hopefully am am right

lifetime you know they take accountability running it up I know I'm just saying we on their ass though how

I'm just saying they got view they got their views exactly okay like it's it's it's too late like yo you signed

whatever you signed and A&E owns all the rights they don't give a [ __ ] how you look in the public they don't have to be

um empathetic to your situation or compassionate it's all about green for them it ain't necessarily about anything

else closing thought what's what's really interesting is the fact that the guardianship wanted you know like filed

the lawsuit against a and lifetime um to prevent this from coming out you know

what I'm saying so it's really interesting that they were the ones that filed the lawsuit rather than the family

I think that's a good thing yeah I think I think that's a guardianship doing a job again we're acting in her best

interest no I know but that but a lot if you get to the second part um you know the last episode especially

the Wendy's sister um speaks a lot about how the guardianship just really like

why didn't they allow us to be a part of you know or take care of her you know be

assigned her Guardians you know why did it have to be an outside party basically it's like a a legal representative we we

can close it but they did speak on that I think it was the first episode where they said if there's infighting going on

and we don't know what's going on with the family we can't just allow one or a couple of yall y'all ain't on the same

her son spent like 100,000 on the party on UB or something like that that was what alerted the banks to contact like

you know for for this whole process to even get started you know and so her son ended up with had power of attorney but

you know he's like he's a young he's a young boy you know well not boy he's a young man now he's like 21 years old but

I mean he's been her little prince forever he's never had to show any level of restraint in terms of spending you

know like it talks about how much rent she was paying from her for her for him it was like $880,000 a year and then the

Uber Eats and blah blah blah so it's just like assigning somebody power of attorney does not necessarily mean

they're going to know exactly what to do you I mean if you're 20 years old you could be 25 you could be 30 I've seen

people get inherit inheritances I'm sorry when somebody passes away and they run through that money in two or 3 years

you don't have really fiscal responsibility when your parents have been rich and just gave you the the leeway to buy whatever you want you get

what I'm saying so I'm not really mad at the conservatorship yeah the worst the I think that the the takeaway here final

thought takeaway here is when you think about yourself and you think about um

plans that you want to make for your future and including your family in it you have to take into account levels of

responsibility people who really understand what it is that you're asking of them what power of attorney actually

means so that you don't end up in like a mess like this you know so pray up man

pray upay up absolutely um what did Kanye do I see Kanye on the board what

really clear to you guys what's happening with Adidas it's not only are they putting out fake colorways that are
