I'm your host Joe button sitting across from me is my lovely co-host wow what a kind of Rory lanes yeah that

  • 0:13

reminds me of back in the 90s where or maybe that was jail or you found talk where that's how we would insult man

  • 0:19

yeah look at you gorgeous you gorgeous you're about this year that was so in when you were you lovely when you were

  • 0:26

in Groupon with men you were calling them gorgeous that's cute oh when we back to this again the way back to you

you and your [ __ ] Dateline 20/20 all right so what do we talk what are we talking about here today first of all

  • 0:38

how are you feeling I know you went away to Atlanta for any Palooza I did I was down there for 83 see um it was one of

  • 0:44

the better Atlanta trips we would you were there for a three-c or any clues or so it was like a fake Kenny Palooza if

  • 0:51

you will it was the official after-party for 83 C for the show that Royce was headlining with Rick Ross so yeah we

  • 0:59

brought down half the staff it was it was a small party um the venue was cool a shout out to surf you and I need to

  • 1:06

have a conversation about you bringing 16 goons with you when you told me it was going to be much less so now I'm

  • 1:12

standing at the door like nah he's good too now the guy with the dreads back there yeah and now he's fun

  • 1:17

no go pat him down the guy with the rifle no no he wouldn't he wouldn't know you fine little check him he's got a 9

  • 1:24

shoutout to cert way to go sir son I was sitting there like sir I hate you well I don't hang out with

  • 1:29

[ __ ] third man notes way too many like I can't travel this way I was out I was I walked outside because I seen surf

  • 1:36

out there and Jonathan Mannion was out there and I went to go grab Mannion I said Oh sir if you're here come on how many are you with he said sixteen I

  • 1:43

kinda thought he was joking and then I turned around and saw sick I said old all of them are men he's like nah now we

  • 1:49

got [ __ ] it was it was two women one of which I knew that I went to college with so that didn't count because she

  • 1:54

was already on the list so it's just it was 16 grown men so I have to put two

  • 1:59

quick points here oh one I don't know this information because I'm not hot our

  • 2:05

rapper is still traveling with a large entourage is is that still a thing

  • 2:11

I think surf I don't think it's a rapper thing with some wine oh I'm not really

  • 2:17

talking about sir at the moment I know there are a few people that travel that way having nothing to do with what they're doing uh but do rappers still

  • 2:24

carry onto Rogers of 15 people no right don't be in spots that rappers be it yes

  • 2:29

you do yes you do [ __ ] I don't you do you 100% do name name three off rip go

  • 2:35

Atlanta Miami that was Euston you saw what cities in general I'm talking about

  • 2:42

places that the rappers be rappers be in the United States you were in my Saverio

  • 2:47

no you were in I was saying like venues you do what you were in Miami and New York at day parties

  • 2:54

rappers in Miami go today park or the Clevelander rappers go to honey Palooza

  • 2:59

what are you talking about cuz we invite them so you lose this by default you'd be exactly where the rappers be

  • 3:04

you a night the right when I'm working you invite the rappers and tell them where they should be well I guess I loses anyways cuz I'm gonna firm with a

  • 3:11

rapper yeah what are you talking about it yeah good point

  • 3:16

Jesus Mary and Joseph all right ma'am [ __ ] derailed on what we've even talking about uh but I had some some

  • 3:23

heavy [ __ ] oh no not surf was great I'm just [ __ ] around surf even though that story is true I do love surf to

  • 3:28

death that's why I let all 16 of his friends in I love surf I'm not gonna know about to death he's cool

  • 3:33

well we surf you have no check no choice uh when there's sixteen minute uh but anyways there's got to fart surf

  • 3:42

don't kill me I'm just quiet if this is just a joke um but anyways the next day

  • 3:49

I actually had a whole Saturday in Atlanta I'm just getting myself deeper into this no disrespect to Atlanta it's just not my first destination I'm a New

  • 3:56

Yorker just Atlanta ain't my vibe all the time but I went to a three-c um Redman was

  • 4:03

performing so I immediately ran down there hmm shout out the Redman Redman didn't get

  • 4:08

enough uh didn't get mentioned when he should have when we were doing our top ten lists but we weren't actually doing

  • 4:15

top ten list like we just randomly blurred out conversation and then y'all guys y'all kill us for not if you sit

  • 4:22

and analyze [ __ ] on your computer for three hours and go how could you forget about this Yeah right man definitely deserves to be

  • 4:29

mentioned in that list so we'll shout him out any time there's a there's a red man before I would have ran there too yes so they uh they put red man pretty

  • 4:36

early on the bill so it was maybe like a hundred people in there um which was I

  • 4:42

was a little nervous about and then red man came out and said I rocked the honor a hundred thousand people yesterday I'm

  • 4:48

rocking a hundred people now it's gonna be the exact same energy I saw this when I saw a tribe open up for Kanye and this

  • 4:54

is going to be an old head hip-hopper and it's just different I can appreciate that it's just different when you look

  • 5:00

at people that have been performing for 20 [ __ ] years their breath control

  • 5:05

they hit every syllable like it's like listening to the record no matter what

  • 5:11

the sound system sounds like he brought out Keith Murray say what you will about Keith Murray and his health state I hope

  • 5:17

it's fine didn't miss a [ __ ] lick like he was going off though Tom Eric sermon came

  • 5:23

out did just like music like he rocked a show 400 people that was one of the better shows I've seen in the past ten

  • 5:29

years a damn dread man about three weeks ago he hasn't gotten back to me right man if you're listening to this check

  • 5:35

your DMS on Instagram he then finished the show and red man might be the plug king he killing you a promo man he

  • 5:42

brought out his home girl that had weave shops in Atlanta he brought out his friends plugged all their instagrams it

  • 5:48

was like a whole 15 minutes of an Instagram plucked see him that yeah I can't I can't write man's funny so he

  • 5:56

makes everything funny red man is funny so it's easier to digest when he's read his dope man so good so you can get away

  • 6:03

with so much other's [ __ ] when your dope so then uh they were doing an outcast

  • 6:09

    cuz it's [ __ ] 20 years 2016 19 yeah for 80 aliens mm-hmm

  • 6:15

so of course they did not book Outkast unfortunately but they had a live band to do every record from 80 aliens and

  • 6:22

they had local artists cover it listen big boy big boy Andre couldn't be here tonight but we've got your Mon and Rahim

  • 6:28

from Raider and one who happens to know all of the instrument ohms of their music now that they buy that [ __ ] uh Nappy Roots bring

  • 6:35

out the box and rams navy roots did elevators in its entirety which was really dope and now they killed its

  • 6:41

various live hipster live music can you own your hipster ways hipster about Redman man and his aliens this is

  • 6:49

hipster [ __ ] when you're [ __ ] nineteen telling me about and twenty six same thing when you're 19 you tell me about

  • 6:55

how great the red man said was oh and outcast couldn't be there but it was such a groovy set over some pots and

  • 7:02

pans that the look here's my issue with you old [ __ ] right like that's not your hipster man I don't know why you don't

  • 7:07

own it cuz I'm not listen the hip-hop we're talking about coupled with the

  • 7:14

jean jacket from a few weeks ago succumbing to what you do for a living and n as hobby your hipster is cool well

  • 7:23

what's a hipster you and don't you say that no no you pulled an you protocol a

  • 7:29

good question let me think because this is my issue which you old [ __ ] right am I an old [ __ ] absolute 100% no [ __ ] I

  • 7:35

don't feel like 36 should be an old [ __ ] by the way but whatever if I'm an old [ __ ] it should be by soul by my spirit

  • 7:41

right not buy a know just cuz you're annoyed and angry all the time like old people yeah that speaks to my soul in my

  • 7:49

in my spirit why am I so lady so me all the time but get angry not just you in

  • 7:54

general but the older generation gets angry at all the new music and then when someone my age likes the music from

  • 8:00

their era you don't know [ __ ] about that oh you [ __ ] hipster you just like it cuz it's trendy like just make up your

  • 8:06

minds why do you be angry at both at both ends first of all I've had the 1880 a lian's album before I was 10 years old

  • 8:13

I had to tape I want is hardly morning dreams map I want to only be held

  • 8:18

accountable for the things I say so I'm not I'm not defending on you liking me

  • 8:25

so I'm a hipster because I had like aliens important hey let me be perfectly clear I like music from today how can you not

  • 8:33

like music from today well I do much more than I think there's a I don't know about that even I think that's even

  • 8:40

debatable that you like today's music much more than me and that room there we

  • 8:48

go you have the same disdain for the lower quality music but you are in a position

  • 8:54

where I mean you have to pretend more like a lot of your crafting and what

  • 8:59

y'all do that that brand is centered around but I get it when it works and I

  • 9:05

see it happen you're just sitting in your [ __ ] basement listening to this music when it should be at any Palooza

  • 9:14

ya know I don't know no no that's such it you get oh man I you get such a false

  • 9:23

impression of a song contingent upon where you how you receive it of course so I do agree that some music should not

  • 9:31

be listened to in the basement on your on your Bose speaker everyone in the world will deny it when Rihanna work

  • 9:38

came out they were killing it on Twitter kill they were they are murdered they were every last person will deny they

  • 9:44

were doing it they were murdering it and I said y'all listening to this in your cubicle with your [ __ ] white iPhone headphones on not a tad a party with a

  • 9:52

drink and a [ __ ] well what happens is a lot of times the sheep rush to judgment

  • 9:58

well and then when the there's no surprise there yeah they rush they rush to judgment on something and then

  • 10:04

because they're sheep when the consensus is they're wrong they follow that so now

  • 10:09

you look stupid because you just wavered from your original point we're off on a tangent because we were talking about

  • 10:15

any Palooza yeah and your disdain for hipsters oh you never answer what hips I never what boy wait wait wait wait wait

  • 10:22

wait I do I have a disdain Pfister's yeah your tone of voice when you bring

  • 10:27

it up it is always in a negative way but that's that really my tone of voice cuz you're a noise I also look at

  • 10:34

everything coming photo spinners pointed that out to me actually that I'm just and and she's helped me to realize that

  • 10:39

I'm just grumpy I sound and come off grumpy all the time even when nothing is wrong I'm around you often you're not

  • 10:45

happy unless you're complaining yeah but I'd be fine I really be fine though nothing really be wrong sorry so I'm

  • 10:51

glad you had a great time in Atlanta which our undercover friends which your dad down-low buddies let me not sound like

  • 10:58

being were the one that was just saying you were in a boy's home calling them gorgeous and now I have download for I

  • 11:04

love gay people I'm always on the record with loving gay people by the way in

  • 11:10

what capacity I love them I love every gay people are the most honest people

  • 11:15

are the ones that have the ones that are in the closet they're the most [ __ ]

  • 11:21

they just saw are so proud of their culture and who they are I love gay people gay people great they're a lot

  • 11:26

more honest than [ __ ] the piece of [ __ ] straight people that I know are you still in contact with the ones from the boys home you know what worth

  • 11:33

I saw the movie sleepers so I'm not even having this conversation with you see you too young even get that [ __ ]

  • 11:38

amazing sleepers [ __ ] well I'm sure I'm sure I have it on VHS have hipster seen sleepers I would know I'm not a

  • 11:47

minister all right come on all right let me ask you a question what is Apes tur let's do that and get off of this

  • 11:52

because this was not in our in our plans to talk about right it wasn't what what what is a hipster well I don't like I

  • 12:01

have a bad opinion of hipsters because my first introduction to them was like

  • 12:06

people moving in to Williamsburg into Brooklyn and just ruining [ __ ] and they

  • 12:13

just have this to say that they're above and cooler than things because they think they know about things that other people don't know about and then when

  • 12:19

people find out about those things they're no longer cool to that point I think that that's the only issue that I

  • 12:26

have with hip the term hipsters hipsters make it appear as though they are they

  • 12:37

run hip hop they're all the debt exists in hip hop yeah well in the words of I want to say was Jerry Seinfeld if they

  • 12:44

were really hipsters there wouldn't be any hmm let me think about that for a

  • 12:50

minute say that again if they were really hipsters there wouldn't be any that's

  • 12:57

pretty because there's a [ __ ] ton of hit airs that that's pretty that's pretty awesome yeah I agree with that but

  • 13:03

that's I love Seinfield alright so off of you and your [ __ ] Atlanta weekend oh did you do this weekend none

  • 13:10

absolutely nothing I wrote rhymes that's what I did because I have I have a treat plant I have something special that I'm

  • 13:17

trying to put together oh I've seen you know one let me know on my own before my album drops oh it's gonna be nice

  • 13:24

tell us about no I don't want it I don't want to ruin the surprise no don't Jack thriller me I got I watched that on the way here I got other

  • 13:30

ways why why not Jack really did some I I liked I liked

  • 13:35

Jack thriller oh yeah you are a friend of mine I saw it on my timeline I had time to kill on the train naturally I

  • 13:41

    watched it Jack thriller a while ago did some [ __ ] [ __ ] I don't remember what the [ __ ] [ __ ] was I think he saw an

  • 13:49

interview that I did and he felt away about it and then he went on to bash me in interviews so when I called him and I

  • 13:57

checked him about that probably no no yeah private interview this is a while ago when I this was that maybe one of

  • 14:03

the summer madnesses or one of those smack URL events I saw him and I

  • 14:09

immediately checked him about it and he apologized so that's why when that 2

  • 14:14

Chainz and Jack thriller [ __ ] popped off it wasn't so shocking to me because I had my own experience and [ __ ] [ __ ] from

  • 14:22

Jack thriller um so that was my first time doing an interview with him since

  • 14:28

um and it was cool it's cool my thing about interviewers they all ask the same exact [ __ ] so then my brain can't help

  • 14:35

but think why you didn't do your due diligence and you did such a lackluster job yeah but say a job and I know you

  • 14:43

and I know that makes sense to you and probably a lot of other people but I know and I know it's tough when I read

  • 14:50

yourself but like to everyone universe like everyone else in the world

  • 14:56

sometimes you have to put on your [ __ ] happy face and push something for a bigger picture no you don't why

  • 15:03

why do you have to put forth a happy face when you're not happy to sell

  • 15:09

something in business yeah I think we all do I'm not saying it's right or wrong but at some point you're like what that

  • 15:15

makes I think we all do it yeah I know I don't for what everybody [ __ ] does how can you account for what everybody

  • 15:22

think we all do it you know that I can't account for all six billion people on the planet there's no

  • 15:28

what the [ __ ] are you speaking for them for but are you not selling something now are you trying to sell solution yes

  • 15:36

you're trying to oh yeah we're going with you within business unfortunately perception is one of the larger things

  • 15:43

and when you're selling something to a consumer you want to make them feel good about it and when you walk into an

  • 15:49

interview and you come off as a [ __ ] dick which I'm not saying you're or did or did not but no you're right about all

  • 15:57

it is I'm a bad sale don't know I know I'm well aware of that and I know it I

  • 16:03

know it's very hard for you to pretend to be somebody else but I'm looking at this like yeah but he's he's independent

  • 16:09

now he's depending on himself sometimes you can't just sit there and be like yeah no even if the questions are

  • 16:16

[ __ ] [ __ ] because I'm not even quite sure if I can repeat three questions Jack Tyler gave in that

  • 16:22

interview but at the same time you still fight again you still have to put your head up a facade I can't no he said he

  • 16:28

said uh he set up I spoke to the rest of the guys in slaughterhouse so I got

  • 16:34

their answer now let me hear from you have you guys broken up well in his defense that was one of the that was one

  • 16:40

of the questions to my point here the rest of slaughterhouse is better at that than you are so you might get a real

  • 16:47

answer I'm not alluding to anything here by the way none following you you might get a real answer out of Joe Budden you

  • 16:53

may get a political answer out of Royce cuz Royce is just really good at that and Anatomy really is all ready but to

  • 17:00

my voice does not come off as someone fake or pretending to be something he's not he's just knows how to walk into an

  • 17:06

interview and be like this is the answer to your question even though his brain Royce is a much better actor than I yeah

  • 17:12

bracelet a me much I don't much better actor than I'm is what you're not yes he

  • 17:17

[ __ ] he is pretending are you kidding me you know how many people worry sits in front of and conducts himself in that

  • 17:22

professional manner that he [ __ ] ate their professional manner you're selling something in business you're independent

  • 17:28

dog I'm not rolling you you right you're right and I still am not rolling with that again I don't pretend well I don't

  • 17:35

pretend well so if this is the nine interview of answering the same exact questions that I have answered for 15

  • 17:42

years I get that everyone did not see this over the course of 15 years but how

  • 17:48

do you expect someone to react and respond now professional when there's a great interview is the same it's the

  • 17:54

same as when you're doing the show you the energy you get is the energy that you get I'm not speaking about check

  • 18:00

thrillers behavior at all I'm speaking Jess you are though just to you but you are though you are speaking about

  • 18:05

jackdrury with behavior and you now know just like you said in 15 years you've

  • 18:10

done a million interviews with the same questions that's true you know exactly what I hate again - I hate them I hate

  • 18:17

every last one of them so then don't do if I could only if I could only so don't don't it I tell in that every [ __ ] so

  • 18:24

on it so you're pretending this cuz you're walking into that room when you don't want to be their home whatever yeah yeah yeah there's now you're still

  • 18:30

pretending it's still if you're putting on a facade for a little bit we all leave there's our do with it you didn't

  • 18:36

want to be in that room but she was in that room you're original that's not a facade that's yes it is way being

  • 18:42

somewhere that you don't want to be as a facade even what shade home that's not true that's not true that's not true that's

  • 18:47

not true no it's not a facade speaks to your action it speaks to the actions it take action to get into a room what are

  • 18:58

you trolling right now troubling I don't think it takes an egg I'm trying to get you to walk out of this puck as - I'm

  • 19:04

not walking out this pocket oh yeah that was the other thing he said he said I leave during confrontation I didn't

  • 19:10

agree with that uh-oh did finally some you didn't agree yeah anyway although he

  • 19:15

asked me what features on the app I want to tell you I want to tell you I've seen you act this is why this is funny

  • 19:21

this is Dona and I'm not Santa cheering Greg wait I'm just trying to bring another point as someone who cares and

  • 19:26

who's part of this rollout with you yeah but I said 25 minutes ago you were correct in what you're saying you're

  • 19:32

correct hey let me say that again I'm trying to get you to be a little nicer that's all how be more of a team player how tell me

  • 19:39

how tell me how to pretend to be nice to think about the bigger larger picture

  • 19:45

not to quote Lux but the larger picture here is you are trying to sell albums

  • 19:50

I know I know every a rapper way I don't get what it's about the music no no you're not man you're just about math

  • 19:58

you're trying to sell records yes I'm following you here so when

  • 20:03

someone sees this person they don't know because when you're doing these inner I don't know how to pretend to be nice Rory no I'm telling you you need to I'm

  • 20:10

telling you that the product that y'all see in the interviews is me pretending to be nice it's like what you are what

  • 20:17

are you Jesus Christ that's pretending to be nice that is the attempting to be nice I [ __ ] am intro and speak to

  • 20:24

these [ __ ] Nimrods not calling Jack thriller Nimrod but I'm just saying just lay him Jack thriller is I've seen him

  • 20:34

outside of being on an interview he's a smart guy he kind of plays to the Dumber

  • 20:39

Unicare it's a character I like it's a really intelligent guy when he's not around a camera most people are and

  • 20:49

inside they are someone entirely different when a cameras on well yeah

  • 20:54

there's a vain kind of a free-flowing conversation huh I'm into it we haven't gotten any to talk points yes we went on

  • 21:01

[ __ ] hips in mind can you hear me this mic yes I got you in microphone here microphones do they amplify I can't

  • 21:07

hear my headphones and what headboards do is make you hear that and I can't hear that so look at that listen what

  • 21:13

happened okay sassy cos Jack droid kicked you out the [ __ ] interview no no no I'm not sassy because of that

  • 21:19

kicked out of it shut the [ __ ] up I'm still rolling still rolling with it at the tacks narrative [ __ ] listen so so

  • 21:24

let me so all right so let's address what's happened during the week what's happened during the week is okay I'm

  • 21:30

gonna say this first I'm gonna say this first right because I'm not harping on

  • 21:35

this because I'm not allowed to harp on Drake anymore but Drake did the whole rant one from stage in Toronto right

  • 21:42

    where he was super [ __ ] tough [ __ ] you [ __ ] oh yes I [ __ ] kill oh you [ __ ] nobody about myself - biggest kid

  • 21:49

    - nothin cuz I'm the boy right and I saw it and I said why is he doing that what is he doing that but I mean cool

  • 21:56

you the best wife in the world you [ __ ] the biggest guy go ahead and do it right threatt not even three days

  • 22:02

later does God agree with me and he's praises pickled now

  • 22:07

jumping up and down and got a cancel two three tour dates I thought that was funny I know I'm not allowed to talk or

  • 22:14

laugh anything Drake but that was funny that he was super tough and then God said what are you doing now your ankles

  • 22:20

broke and she got a cancel tour is but that's my warped sense of humor I'm not

  • 22:27

as hard on its Drake the DeRose of performers it's not like wait that

  • 22:34

little louder how many rappers you know period that have either tour their ACO or hairline

  • 22:40

fracture their ankle period in their whole careers he's done both in like a

  • 22:45

new person which a hey to all the ovo fans and I think we've all lost on this

  • 22:50

podcast I am going to chalk that up to being an active performer away time I don't think they should stretch though a

  • 22:56

trainer Opio fans I don't think that's fair that we lost y'all I don't think

  • 23:02

that's fair that ain't like badass before yeah but that's because we were here team Drake we're still teams were

  • 23:08

that they are how come that's so hard to get for people cuz you're angry and interviews alright whatever

  • 23:15

I'm offer you on to Drake's friend no because this is where I'm concerned a bit I didn't watch much of the Giants

  • 23:22

game right and ladies don't be alarmed because you heard a sports team we're not gonna keep this as a sports

  • 23:29

conversation well the Giants have O'Dell however Odell Beckham jr. now right I watch the

  • 23:37

Giants lose that [ __ ] game this past week I watched Eli attempt to force and

  • 23:44

shove that ball in pockets that did not exist and after the game Odell Beckham

  • 23:52

is doing a [ __ ] interview laughing and joking and talking about him and an

  • 23:58

imaginary fight with the [ __ ] net from the game before last week he told

  • 24:04

us the moment he said are you've I'm with Hopkins are hitting me are you serious like are you this much of a

  • 24:10

[ __ ] idiot does he have a touchdown yet this year yeah I ain't seeing no dancing meme so I'm gonna assume no

  • 24:18

I don't think here's a touchdown the ship so I want to ask in all of Odell's greatness because he is great

  • 24:24

phenomenal he seems to be a lot more about the name on the back of the jersey

  • 24:30

and that seems to be it seems to be becoming a detriment to the team and

  • 24:37

it's painfully obvious when you start doing an interview after a loss your

  • 24:42

third [ __ ] loss in a row by the way about fighting of the net punching you

  • 24:49

in the face after you hit it out of frustration because you can't control your [ __ ] emotions every [ __ ]

  • 24:54

Sunday and my often is or do I am I just a Giants fan that's like because I'm a

  • 25:01

Giants fan I feel this way you're certainly getting your talk radio on with the he cares more about the name on

  • 25:06

his back than the squad but I hate when people say yeah yeah no you were very only because this is my team you were

  • 25:12

very much the guy that's never played football before in his life look a bullet and a half wait for what before in my life by the way

  • 25:17

I'm just cuz I didn't come to your little hipster Nike games the jaw head in the park we've some more hipster [ __ ]

  • 25:24

that you did by the way preferred the term influencer you Nike football side

  • 25:30

he was amazing it was out fight over that and I for this Nike football society nature of [ __ ] hipster killer

  • 25:38

mister killer first of all hipsters have guns they're just vintage guns because this is my

  • 25:45

team Rory I sound this way because I think of the other top wide receivers in

  • 25:50

football Julio Jones I don't even know if Julio Jones has a voice that's bowling right now yes they are shout

  • 25:58

care I don't know what happened between last year and this year but they're rockin yeah well that was a bad you the

  • 26:04

year before that they were great yeah yeah there's an inner barrier and it

  • 26:09

lost a lot a lot of never I never lost /fe in the foot okay but listen have you ever heard Julio Jones say a word me

  • 26:16

neither me neither Calvin Johnson really heard him talk I know he's retired Wow but I really heard

  • 26:22

it was all you're like the white wall a talk radio guy Dez Bryant we've heard

  • 26:28

talk but that's because that's the only Alice look what happens when you move to the suburbs this is crazy I've always lived

  • 26:35

in the suburbs yeah a Jason what are you talking about I'm so not good I don't pretend to be

  • 26:41

hood by the way if any of y'all out there listening thought that I pretended to be hood no actually the opposite when

  • 26:46

you drop out of school you got to pretend to be smart pretend to be hood but listen I've never heard any of the

  • 26:52

other top wide receivers in the league say a [ __ ] word so we just got a client doesn't say work whoa I said he's

  • 26:59

in Dallas and that's the homie we've heard him talk but when he speaks he's speaking passionately about football

  • 27:04

Chad Johnson speak to Teo speak well you did Randy taking me back to the 90s dawg that's not the 90s well still I want to

  • 27:11

say that you taking me back to the nineties dawg you're such a hipster always bringing the 90s back yeah they

  • 27:19

spoke but I meant all about today I'm trying out currently today and uh [ __ ] up DeAndre Hopkins never heard a

  • 27:25

word I've never heard him talk well they're allowed to speak AJ Green and I've never heard say a word I think

  • 27:32

you're upset about I'm showing 'king about no I'm showing you the behaviors for now Dez Bryant is in you said in

  • 27:39

Dallas Odell is in New York media is crazy in New York you don't have a [ __ ] camera in his face every five

  • 27:45

seconds that's much more than any other I was a wide receiver in a different I would love to hear my young third year

  • 27:52

first round top star receiver after a heartbreaking loss your third loss I'm

  • 27:59

not a growing you there I'm saying by comparing answers about the loss and not

  • 28:04

spend your time in front of a microphone discussing an imaginary fight that you had last week and a loss with the net

  • 28:12

that hit you back when you hit it that's what I'm saying as a Giants fan that's what I'm saying so we'll go from me

  • 28:19

being a Giants fan let me get all my frustrations out well this one is on a positive note to me being a Knick fan

  • 28:24

you can see how all how life is you see why I'm grumpy this is what I look up a

  • 28:29

Giants fan I'm a Knicks fan uh Derrick Rose's trial yes has been underway

  • 28:36

me being the avid Knick fan that I am have been keeping up with every single

  • 28:41

detail of it all and I don't want to come off it's insensitive guy but this is gonna

  • 28:47

get thrown out I think it is too of course this is going down no Larry podcast today I mean

  • 28:55

I think it running to a civil suit or rip you one could assume this was money

  • 29:00

this was not a crime I wish mall was here because mall did say all of this the entire way he got and mall is one of

  • 29:08

my MBA living room insiders you gotta have some living room insiders yeah well all couldn't be here Todd

  • 29:15

today by the way his mother's birthday yeah so he's doing some fly show Joe didn't text and say you're fired and

  • 29:25

then never address it that you know people made me out to sound like such a

  • 29:30

[ __ ] ball cuz you are should be making total sense in my head that is not what happened by the way that's 1000% but

  • 29:37

Wade say that one more time so I can make sure it's not what happened you texted a person and said they were fired and then never spoke about it again yes

  • 29:45

that is well what do you say after you're fired you're fired

  • 29:53

I'm not go sit down and let me pour you some coffee and tell you why it's like

  • 29:59

am i is your friend you Ansel and just write down it's so [ __ ] business

  • 30:05

never [ __ ] personal and [ __ ] Marissa's use you should be saying [ __ ] rich because you stole our sleeper pick this is our super segment

  • 30:12

and ran it over there with mall and the girl whose name I don't know the other more oh is that why we brought more on

  • 30:19

well I'm now seeing your plot here I didn't even see it no more in front of my face goodness gracious Wow um hopefully that Derrick Rose stuff

  • 30:26

can get squared away but in the interim Brandon Jennings is bawling sorry ladies but you got to know that around fall in

  • 30:33

winter we gotta talk sports for a minute Brandon Jennings doesn't look injured at all and I'm excited about that he was

  • 30:38

scoring and passing he looks great I was really excited but it's pregame so I've

  • 30:45

gone down this rabbit hole before with the Knicks well no no I'm not I'm a battered wife when it comes to this team

  • 30:51

I always run back when I shouldn't why not and I'm not gonna quickly go back just because the Knicks are telling me

  • 30:57

they gonna be I tissue they gonna change they brought some more people in mix are like the girl yeah no

  • 31:03

I've been down this before plenty of times you love this you love going back

  • 31:09

I lied no I love the abuse listen I'm not talking about the Knicks overall

  • 31:16

chances and they're the shot at stuck their shot at success I have them at I have them at 46 games

  • 31:23

that's about where I am that's my prediction but I've been saying that Derrick Rose and Brandon Jennings are

  • 31:28

going to go down before all-star break and looking at Brandon Jenny and she thinks looking at him it was it's I know

  • 31:35

it's preseason but it's good to see him move like that shoutout to Brandon Jennings who always wanted to be a Knick anyway so wait a

  • 31:41

minute I'm out now so I do I still get flack I know I foresee so much [ __ ]

  • 31:47

[ __ ] you know how much flack I got for the blog TV interview ball mistake

  • 31:52

interview that I did with Brandon Jennings after that drafted step up I never saw it

  • 31:57

Stefan Perry went to [ __ ] huh the Warriors when he should have went to the Knicks and the Knicks picked the bum

  • 32:02

whoever he picked well we picked on he remembers name at this point you can't pronounce it you know something he'll

  • 32:08

Jordan Hill we picked him oh I thought he takes it Eastern no we pick we pick Jordan Hill and then right after that

  • 32:14

Brandon Jennings went now my man so we were talking but I was on blogtv who had

  • 32:20

recently started recording everything that you blogged so they recorded me

  • 32:25

with him one speakerphone basically saying how the Knicks should have picked them and now he's gonna [ __ ] on them

  • 32:31

for not picking him and he got a lot you know I did get in trouble for that

  • 32:36

because he was now a member of the Milwaukee Bucks yeah and I'm gonna go

  • 32:41

[ __ ] on the neck why are you saying what team should have picked you where you wanted to play I suppose

  • 32:46

oh I didn't get that part that he you know he said a lot I wanted to play in New York that's home on terrain Kelly oh

  • 32:53

they need a guard I don't know why didn't he pick a guard he picking up how forward uh Raymond Felton is a bomb like

  • 32:59

he was talking like [ __ ] you're talking like he was talking to his [ __ ] so you the feds that's what you are yeah

  • 33:05

yes yes yes yeah sorry man okay now I

  • 33:11

see why put the S at the end so now you make sense now so shut the [ __ ] up so now he's on the Knicks oh yeah you make good jokes sometimes but

  • 33:18

but I don't know something about what happens afterwards throws it off so it's not really funny really is your timing

  • 33:26

is that no my timings for your timing you're just sensitive and you mask it it's okay

  • 33:31

moving on no we're not am i sensitive and I'm asking Rory huh would you stop

  • 33:38

oh I see what's happening I see what's happening it's only me and you ear mall is going we haven't done one of these in

  • 33:44

a long time you have it right the people have been telling you side with me too much the nails just [ __ ] on joke I am I

  • 33:49

don't mask it well no you're not [ __ ] you're very insensitive which was my

  • 33:55

point this whole podcast get a little bit more sensitive when you're not gonna listen I say I say right you're right

  • 34:01

you're right I mean I do need to attempt that this is the first album where I'm actually concerned about math this is

  • 34:09

the only the only album that that uh that is that way because this is my

  • 34:15

first time being truly independent oh we were supposed to talk about upthat's we were told my bird the word flop oh you

  • 34:21

heard of a nation for all over the place but yes let's go segue because unfortunately rape seems to be a topic

  • 34:28

of concern with three different areas with Derrick Rose with Nate Parker and

  • 34:33

his movie Birth of a Nation and Donald Trump so Nate Parker Nate Parker give us

  • 34:40

backstory here uh cuz I didn't I didn't even know this information until you told me yeah we've actually been meaning

  • 34:46

to speak about this on the podcast but for some reason we always forget or talk about other [ __ ] um Nate Parker was in

  • 34:52

college him and his roommate who was also a writer on Birth of a Nation got into I guess he would call it an

  • 34:59

incident with a woman she was very intoxicated and both of them had some form of sex with her I actually read

  • 35:07

through the whole phone conversation which was recorded I would imagine and it's a little weird I'll be honest with

  • 35:14

you and you know uh with my bitterness and chip on my shoulder usually I'm not

  • 35:20

the quickest person to start to run to the feminist side but it was a low it

  • 35:25

was low weird the woman was definitely with Nate and was only around him and wanted to be

  • 35:31

with him she got pretty intoxicated and was not with the shits

  • 35:36

the next morning mmm and it seemed genuine in the phone conversation

  • 35:43

because she seemed very uneasy and concerned on what happened very much

  • 35:48

different in the Derrick Rose much fine item item might I add which is why they're all getting tied together I saw

  • 35:54

a woman I'm not going to say because I know her tweet Kobe did it Derrick Rose

  • 35:59

did it Nate Parker did it how do you know that and why are you tweeting that

  • 36:05

see my thing is certain allegations are so serious there's no it there's really

  • 36:10

not much information on this Derrick Rose [ __ ] at all and I'm not saying I'm not siding with anyone here I'm making that clear but I just wait for

  • 36:16

information to come out before I run to a [ __ ] side know I've seen a p-- website and I'm with the rules on this

  • 36:22

one now that I've heard all the information well we have we information we can't say on here no no that's not

  • 36:28

true I this the trial is happening now so the information is coming out Derrick

  • 36:33

Rose has been on the stand for the last two days which he shouldn't be on any stage they put the they put listen they

  • 36:39

put the girl on the stand she cried cried cried okay great we got that from you they put Derrick Rose on the stand

  • 36:44

it sounds like the judges fed up with the prosecutor they're talking about he might declare mistrial listen did they

  • 36:51

the prosecution withheld three text messages that help the defense's case

  • 36:57

the girl didn't found two two years after the fact she continued sleeping with Derrick Rose and his buddies to uh

  • 37:04

for two years after feds just it's just a lot of holes there and let me tell you something chicks gotta start on in my

  • 37:09

bed work and she's gonna start on in their [ __ ] trains and I know that

  • 37:14

sounds wild here but you have long in the deep water and I agree with you okay

  • 37:22

abilene good so let me preface this because I don't want to be very very clear is what I don't want to offend

  • 37:27

anyone here what I'm saying is this just so I'm clear and concise trains are

  • 37:33

happening very much though they are it's especially with MCS and

  • 37:40

athletes consensual trains yes consensual consensual trains so what I'm

  • 37:49

saying is if you're having a consensual train ran because people are into whatever they're into on that [ __ ] own

  • 37:57

it don't don't use it as collateral or leverage to then try to jam a [ __ ] up

  • 38:02

because in the Derrick Rose case and I wasn't there so I don't know what occurred but when you don't found till

  • 38:08

two years after you continue screwing him and his friends and then you ask for money and you're told no and now is the

  • 38:13

issue I have an issue with that even in relationships do you think that deserves jail time what yes yes I agree yes yes

  • 38:22

yes as someone who has been through this and to anyone who thinks were being insensitive here women that accused men

  • 38:28

of rape and women that are rape these are two totally different conversations we sympathize 1,000% with women that get

  • 38:34

raped I think that's disgusting continue yeah let me please say they want to make sure that's clear and yeah yeah and any

  • 38:40

time a woman claimed screams rape I don't immediately think she's lying cuz I think women do we all think that

  • 38:45

which angry love you they think we're all pieces of [ __ ] that think every woman is or every woman's

  • 38:50

line i watch way too much channel ID to ever think that that's not true but in a

  • 38:57

lot of people's cases where we are not raping women but are listen and mida measurable you get accused of it in my

  • 39:04

domestic abuse case Rory the young lady was able to foul and then the next day

  • 39:13

feel like she didn't want to be bothered with it at all yeah so you were angry you felt away you

  • 39:19

took action and then the next day you were able to wipe your hands of it well it didn't really occur and now the next

  • 39:25

two years I have to prove this to somebody well the court system is a sign there's no repercussion there's no

  • 39:32

recourse there's no action taken upon women who recklessly try to jam men up I

  • 39:38

know that comes off as insensitive to some people but there needs to be some type of the same way women have all

  • 39:45

these [ __ ] support groups we need men's support groups we do I've been saying that since [ __ ] been allowed

  • 39:50

to get into club for free before one and it was hey I've been saying it why did not lie

  • 39:55

why the night is not too long why is there not a [ __ ] night in the club hey I don't care about your little ayo is it

  • 40:07

working there I'm just saying tonight we're all going to that night well me neither

  • 40:12

yikes why would I want to go to that night I guess that answered that question but still all these [ __ ] years it should

  • 40:19

have been a night where [ __ ] didn't pay to get in the club all right we go to the club and [ __ ] take our hats

  • 40:24

off every [ __ ] night [ __ ] you but could you about you guy who gets to tell the guys that we can't wear hats and

  • 40:31

tell him to take her weave off there could be some [ __ ] under there too yeah and somebody needs to take my wig

  • 40:37

off for men's rights is what I think but I get it I'm a [ __ ] nutcase all right

  • 40:42

we could you imagine though if they brought that to Congress that women would have to do jail time for accusing

  • 40:48

men of rape it's perjury so I don't see why it's not pursued my little sensitive

  • 40:56

moment I had to walk into high school as a freshman in high in high school at 14 15 years old and be called a rapist

  • 41:04

yo death as I lost my virginity this is how I entered into [ __ ] sexuality

  • 41:10

this is the first thing I had you know what's funny and I'm 26 now and you hear

  • 41:17

my misogynist from here if I would've had a [ __ ] hotline I could have been hard nice guy this is what's funny so

  • 41:23

I've been watching home the family which there's only one season four they didn't

  • 41:28

they weren't real no talking season we know like it's three episodes yeah we know they cancel

  • 41:34

the family have I been talking to reanalyze three episodes on that three up yes I've been talking about three

  • 41:39

episodes yes we know it was canceled we understand to the [ __ ] up Rory but my point is this is why it was weird

  • 41:45

watching the family because it had a lot to do with uh sexual predators and one

  • 41:53

of the characters on there that's probably one of the reasons the show was canceled they kind of made you feel bad

  • 41:59

for one of the characters who happen to be a sexual predator but only because he took a piss in a park oh yeah

  • 42:07

school zone so now you're a sexual predator boy his life was jammed up

  • 42:12

after that uh the gentleman the football player in high school that got accused and then uh recorded the girl like you

  • 42:19

after he got out of jail recorded her saying that uh it was a lie and now it's

  • 42:25

suing her for a large amount of money cuz I think he had end up paying some money for that [ __ ] yeah yeah all of

  • 42:31

that is that's jail time I just did [ __ ] six years for your lie and now

  • 42:36

you're just good everything's fine Oh at least you out of jail right money doesn't make that okay with me like III

  • 42:42

you know I watch a lot of these crime suspense stories because I'm a sick twisted [ __ ] but when somebody is

  • 42:48

wrongfully accused and then they get out and then they're awarded X amount of dollars for each year they spent that

  • 42:55

    didn't you can't replace time like I can't imagine absolute Street [ __ ] I

  • 43:01

do I do when they when they brush off not it's just a three or five yeah I go

  • 43:08

sit for five real quick and be good haha wait wait what did you just say I'm

  • 43:15

gonna go sit for five really quick and be good no I don't understand I got I

  • 43:21

slew screenings yeah I mean all I mean all of that train of train of thought I

  • 43:26

don't want to do an hour in general pop I've done overnighters and I'm left off

  • 43:34

a my child support keep go to jail that's my trains been around let me tell

  • 43:43

you something a oh this is horrible to but paying child support and this no now we're really just having a free-flowing

  • 43:49

conversation here but paying Hopi Bank child support if you're not enjoying this man are bad paying child support

  • 43:54

and taking care of your kid and taking care of your kids uh mom

  • 43:59

it's expensive and you have to do always we spoke about this sense you have to do all three let's just get in full men

  • 44:05

mode here I think [ __ ] the receipts invoices all that [ __ ] need to come from child support where did you spend this

  • 44:10

money yeah date and the judge tells you to give receipts if you ever hand your

  • 44:17

child or your child's mother a dollar the judge expect to to have a receipt for that away from child support but not a receipt that's

  • 44:23

ready yeah that's not even realistic like that was always one thing to the judge like really I'm gonna give my kid a hundred

  • 44:31

dollars and then ask him for a receipt or go get a receipt or go write down every time I get my [ __ ] kid some

  • 44:37

money you know how do you sound you have kids yeah that's a tough thing say to your kid how'd you feel about the debate

  • 44:42

uh it's it's hard to watch we it was the

  • 44:48

same consensus I had to last up we're watching the season finale of America

  • 44:55

yeah we are oh I really don't want to vote for either these folks yell it's very

  • 45:02

important that if you are not registered to vote please register to vote contradiction to me I know I know I know

  • 45:10

it presents wait wait wait I know it presents quite the conundrum and and you

  • 45:15

have to be of mature mind to even understand what I'm saying but you were

  • 45:21

one you have to register to vote well I think the deadline is October 18th if you are not registered please do so

  • 45:28

please do so um shout out the Nipsey Hussle to who I saw started a

  • 45:34

registration drive on Crenshaw I love Nipsey Hussle by the way if she's

  • 45:40

great he doesn't get as a as a rapper as an artist as a person probably more so than

  • 45:46

the other two absolutely he is a really good guy and I don't say that like him and I are [ __ ] bestest buddies I

  • 45:53

think there's a mutual respect but he's just a great guy from from what I see he he's great yeah he maintains the right

  • 45:59

amount of low [ __ ] when he but he still curates his base this isn't a plug it's

  • 46:06

just it happens cuz it makes sense here that when he came to any Palooza in LA I was there that's why I'm saying it makes sense cuz

  • 46:12

we're talk about him though 3 was here he pulled up in a car with one person his girlfriend walked in did a song real

  • 46:19

quick said hide everyone chilled smoked and then left didn't come with a thousand people just awesome nipsey's

  • 46:27

awesome AMC Eliminator it literally is nice and interviews too he's much nicer than I

  • 46:33

let me tell you when I see artists that are much nicer than myself I'm envious of it but I believe it

  • 46:40

Joelle is like that Joelle can turn it [ __ ] on and hate you not want to be

  • 46:48

there not want to do it not want to answer it the Mack wilds another one just so Joelle at suite 36 I wonder if

  • 46:54

he really didn't like me shout out to Joe well I saw the video for the no pant the no panty premiere Oh with him in a

  • 47:02

bodega bans where to me Joella I got a lot of rain ghosts from that like

  • 47:08

Spanish rain goes I don't know if they did that on purpose I didn't I didn't see it I'll send you a picture because I

  • 47:13

screenshot but not so well and a yellow robe oh come on man

  • 47:18

where you are set out to me you are set out to make me yeah is getting nuts I don't know what it is what happened this

  • 47:25

week in Atlanta what you to shake I'm just some dude boy now innit you came

  • 47:32

back from the glamour you trying to make me gay we're talking about rape this is yeah we're happening man where's mall

  • 47:37

where's Marissa Marissa's not walking through that door all right well let's

  • 47:43

get back on track to end the birth of a nation thing that they're not seeing it

  • 47:49

because of this Nate Parker case and of course I just said that I I how much it was kind of rapey his conversations with

  • 47:54

that girl okay but again it's probably not my place to say but I think that movie is much bigger than that

  • 48:00

individuals case and what you think of him I have yet to see the movie I would like

  • 48:08

to see the movie I'm apprehensive on seeing the movie cuz I don't know I

  • 48:14

always feel away about movies that I know are gonna make me feel away in real life yeah like when I'm gonna walk out

  • 48:21

the theater Fruitvale station tough one to watch I felt away I'm gonna movie though

  • 48:27

leaving that theater and I don't even think the movie was that phenomenal

  • 48:32

phenomenal I just think because it was real and we now got to see the course of this man's day and what we felt

  • 48:39

yeah I think they grasp even with the low-budget feel if you will I think that grasped it even more

  • 48:46

yeah you're Fruitvale station was a tough one for me arm Malcolm X was a

  • 48:53

tough one for me there's another one that was really a really tough pill to swallow that came out recently um but I

  • 49:00

don't remember because my short-term memory is really bad but I have yet to see a birth of a nation I am going to see it you're saying that the people are

  • 49:07

saying that this movie is a flop somehow is a flop how much money did this movie generate from what I read they've

  • 49:12

already recouped all the money so I'm not quite sure your definition of a flop but I wouldn't call that a flop if in

  • 49:20

less than a week I have all the money then yeah yeah that's it into it yet again here we are blaming 50 [ __ ]

  • 49:26

cent 50 this is all 50 Cent's fault that you imbeciles do not know the direct

  • 49:33

meaning of flop so let's talk about it and I take that back I shouldn't call anybody I shouldn't I shouldn't begin

  • 49:38

name-calling because people don't know something that's wrong arm flop but

  • 49:43

injustice is all fifties fault no this is 50s fault 100 percent 50 is the

  • 49:49

reason that fans have no idea what flop means so in business if this gentleman

  • 49:55

Nate Parker spent and I'm just throwing figures out here if he spent ten million

  • 50:00

dollars I'm sure was much more than ten million I know but I mean why not him into just enjoy the budget ten million

  • 50:07

were spent this is what I read there and 15 million was made that's not a flop no

  • 50:14

that's not a flop so I'm always you know um the music business was always reliant

  • 50:21

upon fans not being very savvy and then fans began to get more and more and more

  • 50:28

knowledgeable and then the music business had to find new ways to trick you because technology helped you so

  • 50:34

much right so I was always confused when fans would start calling things a flop

  • 50:39

without having enough information to determine that like we never know how much these labels or artists are

  • 50:46

spending um every artist is spending a different amount so Europe every artists

  • 50:54

objective is different like Kanye is going to Hawaii he's going to fly everybody to Hawaii

  • 51:00

in Hawaii if you want to come work on the ship you got to come to Hawaii it's like this wild [ __ ] or you guys going to

  • 51:07

London him in jail or locking in they think everyone is on the same playing field if you're a rapper you are

  • 51:13

compared to every last rapper no matter what the deal is today so with the beans with the beans [ __ ] going on right now

  • 51:20

right we have yet to touch on that at all with the beans [ __ ] going on right now I saw somebody tweet you know this is when

  • 51:27

beans anti-gay remarks were floating around and somebody tweeted if he keeps that up he's only going to sell 18,000

  • 51:35

his first week and I immediately thought if beanie sigel sells 18,000 records in

  • 51:41

his first week if he's independent he's doing jumping jacks that's amazing numbers beanie sigel is

  • 51:47

jumping up and down happy as a [ __ ] if him and that's what I learned from that

  • 51:52

is also in a doobie MA clear he wasn't he never said he had he said he had a project coming out but he didn't give a

  • 51:58

date and you just say you got music coming so I wouldn't let anyone expect a beans album to come right now

  • 52:03

a beans album is coming now I'm not right now no I'm not gonna jump out

  • 52:10

there and see right now but a beans album is coming on at Charlemagne and it was handling beans business right now and I'm asking son this is a shot that

  • 52:18

anyway I wanted to interview on the interview and the Hat that he was wearing I don't want to [ __ ] it up but I

  • 52:24

think it was a BM T or I'm [ __ ] it up around but there's a group of people

  • 52:31

that have invested in being Segal he did a deal and I want to make it clear that my point here is saying I'm not doubting

  • 52:37

anyone in his corner but to put an album out independently is extremely difficult if being in Segal wherever where's the

  • 52:45

artist to be very much involved in putting that album out when beans has

  • 52:51

been very much used to a structure like Def Jam in Rockefeller it beans has put

  • 53:00

out independent album before I stand corrected but I'm going off an artist that is used

  • 53:05

to saying I'll be doing the creative [ __ ] I'll be delivering amazing music you guys package it and put it out let

  • 53:12

me know where I need to be how did we feel about well no that's not what I want to ask if beans were to put out an

  • 53:18

independent project six months from now what do we envision it selling remember

  • 53:24

we used to try to guess the numbers when the album's came out why'd we stop doing it because enough albums didn't come out I see that in Kevin Liles office and

  • 53:30

went all the time I don't know if that happened on this podcast were you one all the time we weren't we weren't keeping track I won I won meek did you

  • 53:38

yeah and it was brought up on The Breakfast Club that's besides the point oh come on give me how many records odd beanie would sell beans would sell

  • 53:45

independently a first week or in total both let's do free we always the prize

  • 53:52

to do first week uh I get beans twelve I think if beans were to sell twelve

  • 53:58

thousand somebody would be happy somewhere I I said I don't think he would spend I think a lot of beans

  • 54:03

consumers have gotten somewhat wind of what's going on but are not sitting at

  • 54:09

their house waiting for a Breakfast Club interview to come on so beans being independent and not

  • 54:14

having that machine behind him to get to the consumers that typically by a beans album is very tough this was my problem

  • 54:20

with the two beans dis records I have refused to listen to any of them I listen to them both beans is still a

  • 54:28

phenomenal MC that'll never change still to this day the voice alteration does

  • 54:36

that's what does affect a lot I can't and I know that makes me a bad fan I'm sure his lyrics are there I just they

  • 54:43

are I can't listen the flow is there everything is there still except like

  • 54:48

where his voice like but cuz beans his voice was such a great delivery that it's just so hard to hear they were and

  • 54:54

I know it's from unfortunate circumstances which and I would like him to get a mix down on both of those diss

  • 54:59

records because they don't those beats that he picked brought me back to Rockefeller last decade especially the

  • 55:06

second one even it even made us accept his voice on the second one will me anyway let me speak for myself even even

  • 55:12

to the mixes that goes back to being an independent artist used to a structure he now has to be responsible for getting

  • 55:19

his things mixed he's not passing it off to A&R I went a lot of years in my career without mixing music yeah I

  • 55:26

remember think that was your Sam no at that point would the mixtapes that was kind of everyone sound during that mix day bear yeah I kind of wanted the

  • 55:33

music to feel like a old cassette if g-unit [ __ ] mixed any of those

  • 55:40

records they wouldn't have sounded as good no and then you know is fine let me tell you what's funny about that so I went out with all DJ's were stealing

  • 55:46

debts you think that dat's were mixed I went all these years without mixing right and a lot of fans complained about

  • 55:53

the lack of mixing and in omou music for I mixed the entire project and people complained that it was too polished they

  • 56:01

claimed it was too clean listen ma'am people got by some to complain about especially [ __ ] Joe Budden Vince um

  • 56:08

let's see what else Charlamagne with the beans thing how do you feel about that what that entire

  • 56:13

interview what did you listen to the entire yeah watched it I watched the entire thing as well I think with uh I

  • 56:19

mean I totally understand from Breakfast Club perspective that's clickable having beans back on but I think taxes really

  • 56:26

clickable I think tax no I that's why I get why that Mon but I think tax did such a phenomenal job with that beans

  • 56:32

interview I didn't need that and I think Charlemagne asking those questions which

  • 56:38

may have not been asked on taxes podcast weren't necessary Xiaomi was doing his

  • 56:43

job but I totally disagree I'm not I'm not mad at Charlemagne a little but it was kind of like berating him at some

  • 56:49

point and it was just it was kind of like the Dame [ __ ] just more aggressive know that it I got a totally different

  • 56:56

interpretation from watching that on a tax podcast which was an amazing podcast it was great shout-out to tax um my only

  • 57:05

issue was tax may not be the best interviewer so he really did himself in

  • 57:10

the podcast a great justice by not interviewing him by just letting him I think tak saying anything which would

  • 57:17

made it so phenomenal I agree I'm not to tax it just cuz beans had so much to say let him talk I think that's a good interviewer in

  • 57:23

that instance I'm agree let someone speak so in that part I think he attack static Rachel I'm agreeing and now that

  • 57:29

that interview was mainstream and widespread because it was that was the best podcast of the [ __ ] week

  • 57:35

probably one of the best podcast of the year we last week um now let's hear

  • 57:41

someone counter some of these points let's hear someone with a different with a different way of

  • 57:47

thinking ask some questions do you think Charlemagne asked them in the right way though I listen to what Charlemagne had

  • 57:54

to say about the tax podcast on his podcast brilliant idiots I didn't hear that because I I mean I had to hear that

  • 58:02

because I had to see if your stance was exactly the same and it was his stance

  • 58:07

was exactly the same he had the same points the same questions and he asked

  • 58:12

them with the gentleman sitting in the room I thought he handled himself extremely well I never get the people that that say someone was Punk'd because

  • 58:20

the other person sounded more aggressive I don't ever understand that I didn't

  • 58:25

initial those people that think the louder you say your point the more valid it makes yeah yawa idiots if I'm trying

  • 58:31

to be nicer I shouldn't say that but y'all are not y'all unsmurfy arla main

  • 58:40

was firm in his position he repeated a few questions that that's what I'm that

  • 58:47

it was almost like badgering at the end and because he had already answered those questions but at that I like the

  • 58:55

fact that you can tell that Charlemagne and beans had some rapport beans was

  • 59:00

beams Charlemagne with Charlemagne I just will never get anytime somebody says that somebody was Punk because

  • 59:06

someone else or aggressive I don't think it is [ __ ] not at all it was great so I enjoyed him asking the questions that he had you

  • 59:12

know what I enjoyed which no one spoke about is Envy [ __ ] just trying to

  • 59:17

come up with questions on the fly okay now timeout a timeout wait a minute

  • 59:22

wait no one mention that Envy just sitting there like uh so what's up with beans what's the future with beans and

  • 59:30

are you doing an album I can't just sit in there let me try to come up with [ __ ] let me use my podcast to hear my

  • 59:36

personal grievances really quickly um watching that interview back to a point

  • 59:41

I made a few podcasts ago do we not see how Envy is not that a mic on The Breakfast Club well I say by definition

  • 59:48

he's a mic he intros everyone he does the segment's to commercial he intro that beans interview and after his

  • 59:55

forward intro alright y'all Breakfast Club Charlemagne was right there the

  • 1:00:01

rest of the way with horse which is an a Mike and totally outside of that MV I

  • 1:00:06

put that [ __ ] Styles freestyle out up my freestyle featuring featuring Styles

  • 1:00:12

raging the Machine October 21st make sure you go get that help me celebrate my independence

  • 1:00:17

um and every gonna retweeted talking about yo styles killed that verse on that freestyle like I mean he did okay

  • 1:00:28

look at me that way yeah you did styles didn't kill yes he did he did

  • 1:00:38

part of why I called him styles is great you can you can never say styles killed

  • 1:00:45

it and be wrong he's in a phenomenal MC that's not what I'm speaking about just

  • 1:00:50

playing devil's advocate really Envy like really well and Al's killed it in

  • 1:00:58

really defense Styles did kill it what's

  • 1:01:05

our next was what's our next talk point Rihanna's [ __ ] Travis Scott now I

  • 1:01:11

just follow our instagram I know I'm not about oh my gosh I am I am hey I pillow

  • 1:01:21

talk with my girl man we want me to do we talk about [ __ ] girls like talking about that [ __ ] and

  • 1:01:27

you have to be able to [ __ ] listen and sound like you want to hear it when your girl is talking to you about stupid

  • 1:01:33

internet how many people just real I'm not saying that sin did that because I definitely brought it up Turk but anyway

  • 1:01:38

she's pillow talking with you yeah yeah great great looking Jenny credit how

  • 1:01:44

many people does Rihanna follow how to [ __ ] time in a [ __ ] and I don't [ __ ] know what so people are sitting in her

  • 1:01:50

follow [ __ ] and refreshing it and seeing who's not there anymore she's only the biggest star of the generation

  • 1:01:56

oh she also came out during a Beyonce said I thought that way Beyonce brought her up uh if I read that correctly now

  • 1:02:04

you're now you're scaring me from saying it so I'm a debater Beyonce brought out

  • 1:02:09

young MA and a bogey this she at metlife get out of town Oh Queen do we know that

  • 1:02:16

she loves the young American yeah we know she loves that record hey boogie yo

  • 1:02:21

can you just stop hating on a boogie with the hood ohm like he's dope just accept it wait a minute I don't know I

  • 1:02:28

don't know I don't know you're only my friend and tell me what's dope that the young people like and it's greatly for

  • 1:02:34

it so yeah cuz you're [ __ ] dead on - no but it's fine all right you had some t-pain talk you want to talk about

  • 1:02:40

that's my talk points right now since we're organized now no no no let me see t-pain right I was listening to a record

  • 1:02:46

on the record that mall actually played for the sleeper pick Drizzy featuring on two Canadian record amazing record right

  • 1:02:54

I was living in his record last night with Santa nasha nashe hi singer - hi

  • 1:02:59

babe um and somebody said why I love this

  • 1:03:04

record and then I immediately ark hearken back heart back to UM when I was

  • 1:03:13

putting out I was trying to put a record out my last album was it all of Lawson no logos one of the loves lost and I was

  • 1:03:19

trying to get t-pain on record and remember when when e one was telling me they wanted Asher ET pain wasn't really

  • 1:03:26

hot so why would I do that and at the time I think t-pain wanted 25,000 for a

  • 1:03:31

verse and a hook which I'm such a huge t-pain fan I would have no problem

  • 1:03:38

paying t-pain 25,000 for verse and a hook even if I named it might have the record in my iTunes oh the record that

  • 1:03:46

we want anymore yeah all about say the t-pain same something why does why isn't that out whoa wait a second here now the

  • 1:03:53

record we one of them work yes oh no don't play because I'm still sending that record to him i text another day and said it's on my bucket list to work

  • 1:03:59

    with you so whatever [ __ ] I I can see how [ __ ] don't really vocal me look at

  • 1:04:04

the text I Senecas wanting to work um well it's [ __ ] he also lied to us about

  • 1:04:10

how pop and Dwayne waste a bowling party was sound just oh my god yeah what alive

  • 1:04:16

what a lot but when deep when 21 told me that that too Payne wasn't hot I was confused by it so

  • 1:04:24

I asked a shinsen Ashton Ashton sin as I could TP never not be hot like it's cold

  • 1:04:31

ever really cold for t-pain and the first thing that they said was not

  • 1:04:38

really because t-pain basically reinvented as an entire style of music I agree with that yeah couple that with

  • 1:04:46

the fact that you have to have hood classics and hips to be in that category

  • 1:04:53

and be in contention for the never being a cold category and t-pain has both I

  • 1:05:00

can't and I know that t-pain is not current on radio right this second and I

  • 1:05:07

know the younger people may not be blasting t-pain and their vehicles right this second but you can do an entire

  • 1:05:15

t-pain set in the club I'll take my Tupac in the club argument that I have with Moore and my pool gathering a few

  • 1:05:22

weeks ago you can do an entire t-pain set and the club is going to rock for quite some time I don't think you're

  • 1:05:27

going to disagree with that you know my love for TK so of t-pain and and and oh

  • 1:05:33

and they also said when I was having this conversation is that t-pain is very much like dream in which they both can

  • 1:05:39

put out a bunch of records that we don't really give a [ __ ] about but we give a [ __ ] about them yeah we don't have to

  • 1:05:47

check for every single underground dream or our t-pain release Rory I agree with

  • 1:05:54

your tweet about 1990 77 being a very underrated project and Christina Milian not getting credit she deserves for

  • 1:06:00

inspiring that amazing dream project even though I do think dreams last album is true - by the EP I listen to now you

  • 1:06:09

put an album out live in Mesilla he play yeah you did it was it wasn't a lot of people knew about it not a lot of people

  • 1:06:14

knew I'm just such a big dream founders and do it was trash I hate everything right well look at God when I was in Atlanta I was at a hookah spot and I ran

  • 1:06:21

into boo boo for the people that don't know is a cons brother and I mentioned

  • 1:06:26

that when I got back to our table and a young woman said what the [ __ ] is a con

  • 1:06:31

doing was funny I just said that last night not in the way you would have said it

  • 1:06:37

though as in like he's not relevant type [ __ ] and it had me thinking that there's

  • 1:06:44

certain artists like a Juna can do that and Akon can do that tour around the world and make five

  • 1:06:50

million dollars in six months if yo so let me right now so let me tell the idiot fans out there when you have a

  • 1:06:56

record slash records or a body of work that you can perform for the rest of

  • 1:07:02

your life you're never really irrelevant you're not really irrelevant and I was

  • 1:07:09

trying to think of artists in urban commentary music that have more money

  • 1:07:15

than icon did you say commentary I made mispronounce that I'm like wow oh my god

  • 1:07:21

ill Jill John well you're not on a commentary it's to see that's why worries my friend who hit between all

  • 1:07:28

the cold slang I'm incompetent that's what that yeah you would have to hear the very first time that I heard the

  • 1:07:33

term say less yeah you ever tell you that story no but let me finish my buddy

  • 1:07:39

convict right here go ahead uh I was saying with with the artist that Akon is responsible for why does it [ __ ]

  • 1:07:46

convict music get the credit all these other crews get uh number one it doesn't

  • 1:07:53

sound was cool you got a con off rip obviously t-pain he pain right now you Lady gaga man she

  • 1:08:01

never raped convict even though she was coming yet she didn't wrap it but ok let's let's give you Gaga t-pain Akon

  • 1:08:08

French Montana don't lie French Montana Red Cafe what

  • 1:08:14

unknown no I'm not yeah dear up convict come on he was convict music Jeremiah was on convict

  • 1:08:21

bench rep convict for what I feel like was a few months he wrapped it

  • 1:08:28

Jeremiah's on Votto was on it knock it off for a lot of people have been on

  • 1:08:33

comput yeah you know it's funny that trying rate you bring us up you you not knowing what's a less means cuz your

  • 1:08:39

oldest [ __ ] oh wait I was about to go into something else but find the stayed here for a minute so [ __ ] I was having a text from the search

  • 1:08:47

why do you know all of this music music connoisseur what can I say

  • 1:08:53

wait I'm a hipster what can I say oh my god alright so say let's how we won't get into stateless [ __ ] i'll be--i'll

  • 1:08:59

told me what [ __ ] sale s me I had no idea what a man I thought it meant say less like say less okay what does mean

  • 1:09:05

sale yeah in in context whatever arm I had another point to get to what were

  • 1:09:11

you just talking about all this oh so one day on his podcast funny you bring that convict [ __ ] up one day I wanted to

  • 1:09:16

talk about some of the greatest cruise and hip hop that never existed can I get

  • 1:09:23

one example the Commission okay arm whatever that name was of ja Rule ex and

  • 1:09:32

hope because that picture was floating around the internet they were supposed to release an album Klee was but if

  • 1:09:38

since you're older correct me if I'm wrong it was supposed to be Murder Inc and then Murder Inc it never happened

  • 1:09:44

and became Murder Inc that is what happened yeah with the Freestyle over the dum-dum you know the [ __ ] I thought

  • 1:09:50

there was the source cover Excel cover what it was I said yeah Inc in the front before Murder Inc was a thing I ain't gonna lie of job rule DMX and

  • 1:09:57

hole would it became a group that would have been like the the Hall of Fame

  • 1:10:03

class of Garnett Duncan and Kobe that would have been better than Commission yeah mmm don't to know Charli Baltimore

  • 1:10:11

whole big Charli Baltimore Foxy Brown none that Foxy Brown that was Charlie

  • 1:10:17

    Ball Charli Baltimore I feel like somebody's missing from net they're gonna go whatever I don't I don't [ __ ] I

  • 1:10:23

don't remember right now on enough who's cam and I don't remember who told to be a Ned but I noted the crew was supposed

  • 1:10:28

to be ill foxy might have been I don't know well she was out looking right at the group the firm she was in that one I

  • 1:10:34

know what do we count the firm with Cormega yeah because that never came to fruition outside of that album which people

  • 1:10:41

deemed a flop I really enjoyed that album I don't know why is that a flop why is what cuz it didn't sell what a

  • 1:10:48

group of that magnitude was considered there's two things that I found out weren't a flop was when Dre got on

  • 1:10:55

forgot about Dre and said the firm flopped and I was like I didn't know ferm flop and then when I got on a

  • 1:11:01

Twitter and everyone hated tribes last level few things I never knew existed you're in the age group where you would

  • 1:11:08

miss that yeah people do it that the firm flopped and I'm came out a while ago and and yeah people thought the drive last night was bad

  • 1:11:14

I like tribe less oh damn and I was just kidding you just consequence of bias

  • 1:11:19

that's why no I don't think I don't think it was it was our trash at an amazing point that I was about to get to

  • 1:11:26

from all of this and now I don't really remember what it was Jesus my memory is

  • 1:11:32

bad oh whatever this has been all over the place this is

  • 1:11:38

either gonna be an amazing pocket is great wealth or [ __ ] horrible I love this I love the fact that we have hopped

  • 1:11:43

all over everywhere I love it it's pretty good I'm into it what else do we what what out what else occurred it's

  • 1:11:51

been it's been kind of a slow week yeah the only thing I think we left out my talking points was a trunk Trump being a

  • 1:11:59

rapist too I think that was it I'm 60 grand away from recoupment that's up so

  • 1:12:08

we gotta sell your home here so I'll tell us why we should buy so I have to yeah I hate that question that might be

  • 1:12:15

one of the worst uestions an interviewer could ever ask me that's that's like when a girl asked you why are you single

  • 1:12:21

and you're secretly a sociopath in your head and you're like I don't think you want to know that it's it's about why

  • 1:12:28

are you single it's you have no idea I should be vision

  • 1:12:35

yeah this is anytime you and I get in a room by ourselves it ends up teetering the line of could

  • 1:12:42

be offensive to someone and I don't want to be that way because one of the most politically correct conversations we've

  • 1:12:47

ever had in the last week I have followed quite a few feminists on our Twitter they be going hey look what a be

  • 1:12:55

going hard I don't have the capacity to do it no I do it I do it I don't know why I do it but I do it I used to defend

  • 1:13:01

it and of course I attack feminists all the time I used to defend when people be like you tweet too much this and that be

  • 1:13:07

like the [ __ ] isn't my hand feminists do you have a job who can tweet that much

  • 1:13:12

yeah I don't really understand I don't really understand that one either I never understood I used to know I used

  • 1:13:17

to defend them and I shoulda hit you know you can work and tweet the other day the feminist be going off the other

  • 1:13:23

day I thought because so many people say it's just Twitter or that used to be it's never know it's not just Twitter

  • 1:13:30

I've never ever ever thought it was so the other day and in my very euphoric

  • 1:13:36

state I wondered well as I was scrolling my timeline I wondered a lot of us would

  • 1:13:42

what would a lot of us be doing without Twitter Twitter is very [ __ ] helpful

  • 1:13:48

and of course I say that from the viewpoint of an independent artist but I

  • 1:13:54

see so many people driving in their business from Twitter so without it if

  • 1:14:02

it were to just disappear tomorrow Twitter change music I think even more I think streaming happened because of

  • 1:14:09

Twitter and I know that's a weird thing to say but I think it's put artists to consumer way more than Facebook or

  • 1:14:15

Instagram or any other social platform could because you update your Twitter so often Facebook you don't do that as much

  • 1:14:20

so you're living and dying by what's being refreshed there and I think that instant gratuity there I think I'm using

  • 1:14:28

another wrong word gratification thank you instant gratification I think happens

  • 1:14:33

with streaming and having your entire music world of one click advanced how

  • 1:14:40

consumers became and I think that's why independent and why labels are dying right now is because [ __ ] I can open my

  • 1:14:46

phone or to say hey here's a record click Spotify link that's a great you

  • 1:14:52

know speaking of I would like to invite any major label recording artist to come

  • 1:14:58

on this podcast and tell me how you get paid no really I would really like to

  • 1:15:05

know that I'm having a hard time understanding and this is just me and my brain I know I'm a little off sometimes

  • 1:15:10

I'm having a hard time understanding why people are so quick to relinquish their rights today with technology being the

  • 1:15:18

way that it is and with labels taking all that they're taking and offering what they're offering how are you

  • 1:15:24

getting paid get it aid from the same ways if not less then me I am a pendant X I haven't

  • 1:15:35

been in the Def Jam office in a long time but I see their signing people ie Dave East which I thought was great but

  • 1:15:41

in the same instance they have to change the deals like the way Kevin and Lee or did the 360 deal when the music industry

  • 1:15:48

was changing a bit like there has to be a new structure of signing somebody I'm gonna I wouldn't know any more because

  • 1:15:53

I'm not involved in that world and I'm going for now with my with my publishing agreement which was signed in the year

  • 1:16:01

2011 will publishing I mean [ __ ] in between between mp3s and now streaming

  • 1:16:07

you can't imagine publishing is even remotely close to what it used to be well no I would say it is one but I

  • 1:16:14

think in 2001 there's got to be publishing to a miniscule of a click now

  • 1:16:21

not buying an album in 2001 publishers totally ignored independent acts and the

  • 1:16:27

game has shifted in a way where you can't there's plenty of revenue to be collected from being an independent act

  • 1:16:35

so you've had to modify the publishing agreements so I'm currently going through that right this second um but

  • 1:16:43

yeah I just don't see it maybe my views are a bit skewed here um because of my

  • 1:16:48

stance and where I stand my stance and where I stand which is the same exact thing go just we're doing great with

  • 1:16:54

words to the his [ __ ] Elizabeth Cho button my stance and where I stand

  • 1:17:01

[ __ ] smart idiot where's checked early when you need him I didn't say that right away you know

  • 1:17:11

what else happened this week no it's been a slow week it's been a very slow week really I think we kind of covered a

  • 1:17:16

shitload I'd asked Pat where we were with time but I have no Fay pad where are we with time Pat we laying on the

  • 1:17:22

floor [ __ ] I know what type of yoga [ __ ] path is doing it's not a way to go Pat Jesus

  • 1:17:30

power some change and that's about right I still feel like I'm missing something how in 18 if I'll feel whenever my words

  • 1:17:38

and my math are wrong every time we leave this park ten minutes after we go Isaac damn it the hell didn't I touch on that all

  • 1:17:45

right we'll have Pat pause it walk out now I'm not doing every good on the

  • 1:17:50

album raging machine out October 21st I have to do that here because I feel like this is the only place where you can get

  • 1:17:57

Joe button uncensored and like really actually being himself and not having to deal with [ __ ] in certain words I

  • 1:18:03

thought you were always yourself when he walks in interviews I am but I'm guarded of course because I'm answering the same exact quote is that a facade rage in a

  • 1:18:11

machine album October 21st I'm going to continue to promote that even if Arab

  • 1:18:17

does not listen man Abram hasn't tweeted in like five years so Oh count a

  • 1:18:23

rabbit's contributed way more than I could ever ask him to so Arab can continue to do whatever the [ __ ] Arab

  • 1:18:30

wants to do rage and machine the Shannons Arab next week next weekend my album is Janis horns I will try to

  • 1:18:38

convince him to do a listening session next week me warn you guys now my [ __ ] ain't how do you even classify this

  • 1:18:45

album not emo I'm so excited it's not romantic it's not either of those things

  • 1:18:52

so it's either gonna be really really really good or really really really bad no bias at all it it's a great album I'm

  • 1:18:58

just like harm you cannot wait to just see score music your [ __ ] isn't your

  • 1:19:05

fans just go nuts at you it's phenomenal rapping that's well why would my fans be going that to me cuz it's not suicide

  • 1:19:11

like the first yeah the fans expressing no love loss slit your wrists I'm seeing I'm seeing a few of those people out

  • 1:19:17

there the people that are like I saw somebody too tight I think Lucy tweeted bum shitty tweet I don't know Joe put

  • 1:19:24

out all of los and made me hate everybody and then when it fell in love

damned hard oh it's a hard out it's a good listen it's the most concise listen

  • 1:19:52

I've ever put out I know I'm him but [ __ ] all that cuz all I've lost was mad long-winded with mad bars and

  • 1:19:57

nobody gave a [ __ ] nobody cared nobody care did they not care I ain't selling [ __ ] records or nothing here oh I

  • 1:20:04

  • 1:20:28
