  • 5:24

had light eyes and curly hair. Were you trying to talk to other [ __ ] girls? Cuz a lot of light-skinned [ __ ] did

"Oh, look at the baby." When I was in middle school, crack hadn't hit yet.

  • 5:58

Oh, got you. So, light-skinned was still the [ __ ] [ __ ] Till the darkkinned [ __ ] with the missing tooth start

  • 7:08

girl, not my man, but if I if a [ __ ] I was cordial with his, his girl looked good. I tried to talk to her. We tried things. We had to learn the hard way.

  • 7:14

Did you upgrow that? Like was that something you just like stop doing? You have to outgrow cuz you learn. You

  • 7:19

get embarrassed. You get pressed outside. He bring the girl and what he tried to do. Like I went through a lot.

  • 7:25

Huh? Cuz I was brave. I was

  • 7:31

what he did. I was braver than you. You did it on a sneak. I didn't do it. You did it on You did it. You did it on the uh What's the [ __ ]

  • 7:37

proposal with like we've seen Joe do the head ass proposal. In fact,

  • 17:14

that's true. That's kind of his style. And it's perfect. You share with the the people who really would be a part of the

  • 17:19

family. That [ __ ] would be fly. It would be. I think it' be amazing. I hope he does it. Hope he does it in a private. And And if he doesn't do it now, she'll

  • 17:25

  • 17:50

You know what I mean? The I do want to take my time to just acknowledge the growth of Joe Buddton, you know what I

  • 17:56

mean? Um, a lot of times, like I said, we talk [ __ ] We highlight negativity

  • 18:04

even when he go through whatever his incident, you know, we up here and we laugh about it, but we got to highlight how great he's doing, how he's taking

  • 18:10

his family, you know, how he broke generational curses, how he's setting up generational wealth, how this man has

  • 18:17

done this when he was counted out by many. And that [ __ ] is motivational, man. After I saw that, I mean, people ask me and people think that we got it.

  • 18:23

But after I saw it, it just it made me want to go home and just put a plan together. Like, I got to get to it. You

  • 18:28

know what I mean? Because he worked for that, you know? Regardless of what I contributed to that, like he worked for that. It was his idea, his vision that

  • 18:37

came together and I just played a part. I'm just a I'm just a spoke in the wheel. You know what I'm saying? So,

  • 18:42

you're a big spoke though, y'all. Huh? You're a big spoke. You like the fork.

  • 18:47

All you got to do like you like the

  • 18:52

[ __ ] in the middle the heavy [ __ ] highlight touch me please highlight he uh employs people that he

  • 18:59

really loves and [ __ ] with that's that's that to me is the most important part a lot of people but question to that because a lot of

  • 19:04

people don't like to hire people that they [ __ ] with because it's a double-edged sword it can be

  • 19:09

    it's scary I don't I it's it's like giving somebody a job or a place to stay you a hero when

  • 19:16

you bring them in and you're a monster when it's time to go. That's true. And so it's easier to just not do it.

  • 19:21

That's my experience. I'll do it, but I even when I do it, I'm like, I'm I I have to accept that doing this means

  • 19:26

this relationship is never going to be the same at some point potentially. 90 Yeah. And I have exceptions like the person who runs

  • 19:31

Uncle Bobby's that's one of my best friends in the world. It's great. And we we had those conversations you at the right time.

  • 19:37

But 90 99% of time my experience it don't work. Different. Yeah. I don't like I don't like that because

  • 19:42

um with that it be an expectation that you supposed to let certain [ __ ] slide because of relationship.

  • 19:48

Yes. That's why I kind of stay away from any type of business with family.

  • 19:54

I've been surrounded by my whole life. My sister ran two restaurants. Me and my sibling, my other sister worked for her.

  • 19:59

So it's And it worked out. Yeah, it did. We It was Rocky Patches for sure. For sure. It It was tough. Go

  • 20:07

ahead. you. I think the same issue still apply. Like

  • 20:12

I'm [ __ ] with you. But I I saw Tyler Perry said that he had he he had to fire all his family. Yeah. Perry said that some [ __ ] Yeah.

  • 20:19

Uh he had to fire all his family and and and someone else asked him for a million dollars and you had to cut him off.

  • 20:24

My main thing is that what's the difference between what Joe was doing, what others doing? Did he

  • 20:30

just luck up, right? Did he just get lucky by hiring his friends? Did he know who to hire? No, he knew who to hire.

  • 20:35

I think he knew who to hire. No, he we we seen him go through the moments cuz of the past cast. So he the friend that

  • 20:41

was the friendship there. It started and it didn't pan out. And you would think at that point you would kind of be like, "All right, I'm steing away from that

  • 20:47

concept." But he didn't still double down and it worked out. So yeah, I don't think people should get scared of that.

  • 20:54

It's just I don't think so either. I was about I'm making jokes, but I think that we need to dispel that dispel that myth also.

  • 21:00

But when you hire family, sometimes they feel like they're obligated. When you when you hire regular [ __ ] they feel obligated sometimes to it. It

  • 21:06

it depends. Yeah. Like after people sit, let's just say hypothetically you had

  • 21:12

somebody working for you for a couple years. They start to build up some level of entitlement. Yes.

  • 21:17

Like I've been here since it started. I feel like I'm entitled or I deserving of X, Y, and Z. They don't have to

  • 21:23

necessarily be family or friends with you. You get what I'm saying? I just friends come in with it a lot though.

  • 21:28

Maybe. I just think we need the person you talking about, excuse me, they built that up. Sometimes friends automatically

  • 21:34

look at the relationship like it it it gains them some type of privilege. But see, I don't think that's friendship.

  • 21:39

I just think I think communication solves all that. I think effective communication solves all.

  • 21:44

Aside from friendship, if you naturally just have a respect for the person that you're dealing with, you like if you hire me to do something

  • 21:50

or you link me up with someone, I'm going in there also thinking I'm representing you for even putting me in that position. So, I want to do the best

  • 21:57

job possible. that speaks to you. But that that's why it all boils down to just your natural individual and

  • 22:02

character. That's really it's character character thing. And I think it's easier when you're partnering with people. Like I

  • 22:07

would love to partner with friends. Me too. All the time. Sometimes it's harder when you're when you're hooking by with the job.

  • 22:13

Almost every family member I've hired has not almost every half the family members I've hired have stolen money.

  • 22:19

Oh dear. You mean like large amounts? Oh wow. And they say what do you do? Nothing. You got it. That's what they say.

  • 22:24

That's why they really be like, "Yo, you got it." They still my cash or access to your account. Uh, one person took 50,000.

  • 22:33

Wow. Damn. Oh, no. Wow. What' you do? What did I do?

  • 22:38

Sued. I didn't. That's the thing. Like, what can you do? I I eventually got the money back, but I had to

  • 22:44

I mean, eight years later doing it, I had to do it. I had to I had to take it back. Oh, you're lucky.

  • 22:49

Yeah. Very Yeah, you're lucky. Very lucky. I had you take it back. But the the the way to get money back from

  • 22:54

when when hood people steal money is honestly put it put a civil injunction on them and like meaning like no cuz

  • 23:01

everybody gets a case. No, I know. You know what I'm saying? For the audit cuz what happens is [ __ ] get cases.

  • 23:07

Everybody get a bus accident or slip and fall and they they have before they get their money they have to pay you out. Yeah. Like Yeah. Cuz they'll do a

  • 23:13

surgery whatever they got on them. Yeah. So that's how you get your money back. Or you wait until about May.

  • 23:19

    [ __ ] going to go file on April 15th, right? [ __ ] But they don't usually got

  • 23:25

They not filing on April 15th. Oh, you're right. So you put January about January 1st January 14th

  • 23:32

and then Yeah. Who? Wham. That's true. They won't get that. But yeah, the person was actually dropping doing bank drops for me.

  • 23:38

Oh wow. You dropped one somewhere else. Yeah. And I got them I had Right. Drop it in their account. Yeah. And I and I gave it I had them do

  • 23:44

it precisely so I wouldn't get I was like this is the one person I you know not the one one of the people I could trust to do it.

  • 23:50

But it was it was a cousin and uh my cousin ended up uh Yeah. Wow. I don't know. I don't know.

  • 23:56

What was the story? Wait, hold on. Wait. What did he tell you? Did how did he tell he lost the money? Did he tell you lost the money? Did he tell you take Did

  • 24:02

he admit to taking the money? First they they lied. Then I pul It was cash drops. So it was like it seemed like uh something that you could uh it

  • 24:08

something that was harder to track. But I tracked it eventually realized it cuz it it was it was enough money that and

  • 24:15

it was over time. It was over like periods of time. It was like every month they were taking like it was like they taking maybe like 200 a week

  • 24:21

800 500 300. So I would have noticed I I ain't got money to not to miss 50,000 but it was over a period of time.

  • 24:27

Yeah. And over like two years like wait a minute all this money's been missing. What the [ __ ] Eventually I found out they had some drug issues and some other things. I had

  • 24:34

to What can you do? You got to you got to lit. But it was hard. I was devastated and we ain't been the same since. And it made

  • 24:39

it harder for me. And that was kind of the last time I've ever hired anybody like that from familywise, which is probably not

  • 24:45

fair to other family, but you just got to be what it is. I'm not ready to do that. Protect yourself now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Nobody else is going to do that.

  • 24:50

That's a violation. It's hard to get I think I think one of the more important things in hiring friends or family to maybe close this out is to

  • 24:56

hire people that are actually good at what they do as opposed to like

  • 25:02

just, hey, I'm looking out for you. Hire them because they're your family. Hire professionals, you know what I mean, that happen to be related or

  • 25:08

friends. No, I think that's a bet. Yo, did y'all see the list? Which list?

  • 25:14

Complex complex list. Oh, more congratulations.

  • 25:21

Well, y'all [ __ ] went from one to two to three. But I'm playing. They broke. Shout out to my man. I'm playing game.

  • 25:27

We don't read the whole list. There's 50 of them, but the number one uh hip-hop uh was influencer or or what's what's

  • 25:34

the exact name of the list? The the I want to say power players or something. Power player. That's the word. Thank you. Number one on the list was uh

  • 25:42

salut salute to him. He was number three last year. Hell of a year. Yeah. This year number two was academics.

  • 25:48

Salute salute again. No, it's hip-hop. Hip-hop media. Hip-hop media power player, right?

  • 25:54

Yeah. Hip-hop media ranking. Yes. Yeah. Hip-hop media ranking. So number one is was again was constant then then

  • 26:00

academics then Joe. Absolutely. which to me is is is a good

  • 26:06

place to be for. And forgive me, I don't know this uh I'm not as familiar. Plaque plaque boy Max.

  • 26:13

I just didn't know he'd be number four. I didn't realize it was that crazy. I mean, he had a lot of big big moments this year for sure.

  • 26:19

Streaming world. He Yeah. And number five was Charlamax. Want to do the top five and five with Charlemagne. Joe and Charlamagne have

  • 26:25

dropped. And in in the article, what they were saying is a lot of the hip-hop media is moving to streaming so much. like podcasting used to be the cutting

  • 26:30

edge and now it's kind of like almost considered old what we do is almost not just streaming is getting younger

  • 26:36

just in seem like the people who are now at the top just have a younger demographic younger the younger audience the younger

  • 26:42

audience their attention span is is they're watching longer ours is shorter that's very surprising how the older

  • 26:48

people it got shorter and the younger people got their attention span got longer the watch time is longer for the

  • 26:53

younger people they'll sit there and watch for about four or five hours straight and it that I trying to find out what

  • 27:01

was the change. I mean, I know when I was younger, the younger kids with the YouTube, even before that, they kind of grew up into watching [ __ ]

  • 27:08

for a long time, for Yeah. Like I we used to joke about kids not playing with toys no more. Why?

  • 27:13

Because they sit and watch other kids on YouTube for hours playing with toys. Do you think it's because kind of conditioned watching other

  • 27:18

people now? Do you think it's because we got to hustle? That's a good point. Do you think it's because we got to hustle and pay bills and so many things that go on

  • 27:25

to do? We got to No. What you think is you saying no? you you like you agree with that. I think we conflate a bunch of things.

  • 27:31

No disrespect to nobody on the list cuz that's they all are deserving of the list. I think we conflated young and

  • 27:37

black with hip-hop, right? I I don't really watch the content so I

  • 27:44

might be out of pocket. But is that some of the streamers just streaming? They not necessarily streaming and it's

  • 27:50

hip-hop based. They just streaming whatever is on their mind for the day. So I mean they not talking about hip-hop

  • 27:59

thous% had big moments with they seem like hip-hop to me.

  • 28:05

Come on. What's interesting is to your point though Kasanad didn't know who Wall was. Cool. But Kasanad also had

  • 28:12

also I'm not I'm just saying that so when you start talking about people that are just totally engulfed in hip-hop

  • 28:18

sometime and again it's not a slight. M I'm just saying yo these people have fans that are fans of theirs. They could

  • 28:25

be talking about whatever the [ __ ] they talking about and people just going to be tuned in to them being funny, acting

  • 28:31

crazy, doing whatever they doing. I I think those comments though, and I know it's not a slight, but it's where

  • 28:38

it caused the disconnect, right? Because I think Elliot Wilson at that time, shout out to him, was on the same side

  • 28:44

as far as like hip-hop media, but you have the same side as what I said. Yeah. You you you you have to watch it

  • 28:49

to understand that there's a shift in the program and Kasanad is one of the leaders of the shift. Absolutely.

  • 28:54

There's a shift in people are and we have to we I guess we can blame the hip-hop acts that are not no longer

  • 29:00

sitting down with hip-hop journalists and going to them because it's getting faster attraction. You seeing the

  • 29:07

numbers increase in your sales. You seeing the numbers increase on your pages so influential. Yeah. So that's going to them. So that

  • 29:13

in turn makes them a part of hip-hop media. You know what I mean? It's not just that. You saying Kai

  • 29:18

You saying Kai didn't recognize Wle. Cool. And that's no slight to nobody.

  • 29:23

That was also at the BET Awards where he was which is a hip-hop thing which is where he was one of the he streamed the

  • 29:30

entire awards on his platform. So it's like I might not recognize I might might not be deeply ingrained in hip-hop to know

  • 29:36

everybody. No shout to W. Y'all know that's my bro. W hasn't been the most relevant either.

  • 29:41

These are younger kids that are covering what matters in their world. It's still hip-hop, just their world of hip-hop.

  • 29:47

Let me add to what you're saying. Even when you say that comment, Kai don't know why. Cool. And for us, that means

  • 29:53

something. We've had plenty of moments up here where we've spoken to not knowing who the new guys are. Just look

  • 29:59

like the old the freshman list every time they come out. It's not fair. And at the end of the day, hip hop to also be spoken to

  • 30:06

being a young man sport. It's kind of although we just talked about how that's changing, but changing agree with you.

  • 30:12

It's unfair to go ahead and give him slight. I ain't give him a slight. I'm saying I agree with that too. You got it.

  • 30:17

And I'll tell you another thing. W wouldn't have been offended if they didn't matter so much. That's true too. You know what I mean? Like if if didn't

  • 30:23

know who he was, he wouldn't give a [ __ ] right? But it's like he But here's the other thing to me. I was thinking if if something were if something

  • 30:29

happened to hip hop right now, if there was a beef and I needed to know about it or if there was a issue academics.

  • 30:34

Yeah. I like where would I go? I'd go to academics. That's actually probably I'll probably look there. Go. So that that makes sense

  • 30:40

to me why he's on that spot to me. I expected him to be number one, but me too. But I would also look if I was looking

  • 30:46

for a big interview, I'd be looking at just on hip-hop, I I would say that that's I would probably look at K in that too.

  • 30:52

Um, so to me, those two in the top, no. What would you look to him for for hip-hop

  • 30:58

moments? Like again, he's he sits again he sits down with with um hip-hop acts,

  • 31:04

but it's not I don't look for him for the in-depth interview. That's fair. I'm not looking for you to Yeah. Joe

  • 31:10

interviewing somebody ain't the same as as as Aasa not interviewing them. There's no shots to to him. Yeah.

  • 31:15

It's just they do things differently. I'm not gonna I'm not expecting to I'm If I watch a Kai stream with whatever

  • 31:22

celebrity I'm damn expecting comedy out of this. Yes. Right. That's a better way to put it. I I meant like more of an

  • 31:28

engagement. You're right. Interview not an interview. You're 100% right. Is hip-hop solely just being based down to music for y'all when y'all speak

  • 31:33

about this? Cuz if we just take hip-hop hip-hop at that point is it's not. And that's a good point. as big as

  • 31:39

Kaisen of a year he's had as far as visibility popping up at everything that he could possibly pop up at. I think

  • 31:45

he's amazing for the hip-hop media world entirely. Like I don't think it matters if he's super hardcore hip-hop

  • 31:52

music analysis. I think that him taking the platform to that level is worthy of him being number one here without a

  • 31:58

doubt. As a young black man, I'm in awe of what he has accomplished in the last

  • 32:03

two or three years has been I see him on every Sprint commercial or whatever it is. T-Mobile. Yeah, he has deodorant. He got deodorant in

  • 32:10

Target. Love it. Right. I love it. I um [ __ ] we He got deodorant in Target, my [ __ ] Like that's some

  • 32:16

The only thing I would say is I feel like we getting punished a little bit for consistency. For consistency and for being broader

  • 32:23

than just hip-hop. So cuz a whole lot of hip-hop happens up here. A whole lot of interviews happen up here.

  • 32:28

It's just we also get rock. We also get the mayor. Yeah. It's just them. Like if you

  • 32:34

And that's fine though. Yeah. Yeah. It's cool. So to see I look at it the other way. I see all of that

  • 32:39

and to still fall at three, right? It's fire. Yeah. Do you think if the uh New York Times

  • 32:45

article and the leak and all that stuff comes out earlier, the ranking would have changed? No, cuz they they referenced that.

  • 32:50

No. Okay. They referenced all of that, but I don't know if they referenced They might have added the added in

  • 32:56

there. I don't think it changes. It's hard. It's hard to pass act in in hip-hop journal hip-hop. Accents on that stream.

  • 33:04

act as one, not for two, three, he be on there for six, seven hours consistently.

  • 33:09

He gets all the information that nobody does. Yeah. Like he is a monster.

  • 33:15

And not just that, A will go live right now. Mhm. Something happened, I don't have to wait until when drop. Y'all drop when? Okay.

  • 33:22

No, he we he's going to cover it in real time. Something happened, he going to post. Yo, I'm live now

  • 33:28

and they're going to run over there like he's the news. I know it's breaking news. I'll tell you one thing though, that 20 million

  • 33:34

and the leak and all that stuff is changing other coverage that this show gets and other ways that people talk about Joe. I've been seeing that

  • 33:40

everywhere like people asking different questions, people are showing up more. People calling me more, you know what I mean?

  • 33:45

For sure. Like, have y'all experienced that too this week? Yes. Yeah. Somebody asked me to borrow money.

  • 33:50

I told them I got no That's Joe. I name. Yeah. No, for real. I I had I had to I

  • 33:57

had to make a public service announcement to say that Joe got 20 million, not flip, [ __ ] I ain't get 20

  • 34:03

million. Don't ask me. People ask me for new contracts. He actually I'm like, "Yo, y'all crazy." Oh, your your actual employees started

  • 34:09

asking for money. Yeah. Like, "Yo, can we have a conversation about some money?" I'm like, in my head I'm like, "Nigga, no.

  • 34:14

No, nothing changed. When something changed then?" Yeah. Um, you know,

  • 34:19

did your workers ask for more money, too? See, maybe extra water break, something

  • 34:25

Christmas off, summer time. Can we get some Yo, who called you? Somebody Anybody call you?

  • 34:32

Yo, dog. All of our phones have been lit up since the whole weekend. Yeah. Yeah. Her name is in the news.

  • 34:37

I will say it was very hard to find the actual physical newspaper. Yeah. I walked to like seven different shops. I finally got was the last one. I was

  • 34:44

like, "All right, it's a little wrinkled up and shit." But they have they got you have the actual paper. Yeah. Yeah. I went and purchased the

  • 34:49

actual paper for sure. You got in the hut. You're supposed to huts in man. You didn't. No. No. I should have

  • 34:55

I should have I got in there. I threw it away. You see what you fishing it?

  • 35:01

Hold it. I went to saw the billboard, too. I didn't see the billboard yet. I was We We were shooting, so I didn't go to for that, but we were there and we

  • 35:07

shot. It looks amazing. Yo, it's Which one? There's a few. There's two of them. Yeah. Yeah. There's one at uh 40. Is it 42nd?

  • 35:14

47th. There's one on 42nd. I think there's one on 47th. I was We were at the one at 42nd. And it's like cuz it's really up high and it

  • 35:20

says like you know the vertical one vertical joint on your own with and it's coming up every 40 seconds.

  • 35:25

That vertical one is fire. Yeah, that's the one that we saw. That's amazing. Yo, that [ __ ] is different, bro. That [ __ ] sit right there where the

  • 35:31

ball drop right that's that's the billboard right now. When the ball drops, it's

  • 35:37

    right on Joe's face. I'm sorry. I couldn't resist.

  • 35:42

Listen. Listen, that's good that you went there. That's good that you went there to support. It was filming. Um, that's great. Um, in

  • 35:49

closing for me, I just hip-hop is hip-hop and it's growing every day and

  • 35:54

we just should support it. Shout out to everybody that's that's that's leading. That's a fact. You know, that's on the front line. Um,

  • 36:00

shout out to us for putting the work in and you know, it's always next year. Let's see if we get back to number one

  • 36:06

next year. For sure. That's it. Salute to everyone on the list. Smile, [ __ ] Salute to everybody.

  • 36:11

Yeah. Smile when I talk to you, [ __ ] Smile. Yeah, exactly. This guy's nuts.

  • 36:17

Where would you like to start, my brother? We start after we started already. We did it. Say we go. I mean, they they

  • 36:23

are they are attacking people, black people that says, "Rest in peace to Hulk Hogan."

  • 36:28

Yeah. [ __ ] it. Oh, you just went Oh, you just went straight to it, right? They are attacking people. I saw

  • 36:33

YouTubers go live and apologize for saying rest in peace to Hulk Hogan. Um,

  • 36:40

I'm kind of conflicted because Well, that was your man. No, listen.

  • 36:47

That's right. You are into the wrestling thing. I'm into wrestling. Hulk Hogan was an

  • 36:52

icon before he said all that racist nonsense that he sp that he spewed disgusting comments. Um, but the man

  • 37:01

passed away so I didn't wish death on him. He was a part of my childhood at

  • 37:07

one point. You know, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, I watch. I'm a wrestling fan. That's when you started learning how to rip your shirt off.

  • 37:12

Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Um top I I do I do understand for those of you

  • 37:18

who don't know H how Kogan has passed away. Rest in peace. Rest in peace also. 71 years old.

  • 37:23

71 years old he passed away and um cardiac arrest. Yeah. Um sorry.

  • 37:29

Yo, you was an [ __ ] Oh, you wrote something about it. He was online just

  • 37:34

I I didn't go in on it, but All right. Let me let me be a professional first. Yes. Hulk Hogan died yesterday at the age of 71 of cardiac arrest. He was a

  • 37:41

legend. He was the the face of wrestling, professional wrestling. He

  • 37:46

was the person who really made pro wrestling turn. Yes. You know, from mainstream into the main

  • 37:54

when he beats the Iron Chic, I'm sorry, when he beats Iron Chic in 1984 for the championship. That was a

  • 38:01

that was one of the biggest moments in America. And again, we talked about Malcolm Jamar Warner earlier this week. Yes, sir. And we were saying that there are few

  • 38:06

things bigger than the Cosby Show. If there was one and certainly some on par, it was it was the WWF and it was Hulk

  • 38:14

Hogan. Hulk Hogan was the biggest thing. And I mean when he beat Andre the Giant Wrestlemania

  • 38:20

Wrestlemania 3 about 35 million people watching that at that time. I mean that's crazy for for a

  • 38:27

single event. Um it's crazy now for a single event but back then but but Hulk Hogan was the face of patriotism. He's the face of

  • 38:32

America. He's the face of the WWF. I I grew up you know I know you read it about the same age. you know, say your, you know, say your parents eat your

  • 38:38

vitamins. He had the cartoons. He had all the things. I mean, he had records. He had records. He did records and he

  • 38:44

had the movies. He's terrible, but terrible. Terrible music, too, but it's fine. Oh, the music was probably even worse. Um, but he was part of a movement, you

  • 38:51

know, and we could get into the depth of it, but he he was a unique he was an American original there. I mean, there

  • 38:57

just aren't many people like Hulk Hogan, and so I get why people love him. Got it. And if he had died in 1994

  • 39:05

or maybe even 20 thou 2004, we probably would be the White House would be like at half mass right now. I mean, we would

  • 39:11

be marching in the streets. Sometimes living a long time is hard. Yeah. Cuz you have to live life and people

  • 39:17

find out who you are and you become something else for me. The is Hulk Hogan. For me, there's two issues. There's a lot of issues with Hulk Hogan. He was garbage

  • 39:23

in lots of ways. But hell of an obituary.

  • 39:28

That was the professional part. Now I'm pivoting. I will acknowledge the pivot. Okay. End scene now.

  • 39:34

Oh [ __ ] Hulk Hogan. I mean garbage. He was he was human garbage. I mean

  • 39:40

first of all yo this man just died. Yo it's just so the hypocritical part of

  • 39:45

this is nuts to me. Tell me tell me why. Tell me why. Because we crucify other [ __ ]

  • 39:50

when somebody dies and they like damn is now the time for that. Depends on who it is. No it depends on the person that's doing

  • 39:56

the crucifying. Oh maybe. I don't know. Let me ask you. I mean, think about it like this. If Donald Trump dies tomorrow, you saying I

  • 40:03

can't talk [ __ ] I'm not saying nobody do. I'm Listen, I don't dictate what anybody do. I'm just saying I'm I watch people on one side be

  • 40:09

like, "Damn, this person just passed. It's [ __ ] up to [ __ ] on them right now like that." And then on the other hand,

  • 40:15

if it's somebody that you don't like, then I watch people like, "Oh, it's okay cuz we don't the masses don't like this

  • 40:20

person." That's interesting. That's all I I think that's right. But and you come up here and say, "Yo, I'm a hypocrite." I I just said the

  • 40:26

hypocritical part. I say we all No, no, no. I say we all are hypocrites. I just admit it. We are. I'm one.

  • 40:32

    That's what I say and I stand in that. [ __ ] You don't think it's a little tasteless? It's very tasteless. I wouldn't.

  • 40:37

I think it depends on who it is. Listen to this. I wouldn't do that. I would keep my opinions to myself. I'm

  • 40:43

not going to knock him for doing I'm not I want to know his reason cuz he's about to go cuz you're saying I know about the

  • 40:49

when you say he's a bad person. He's a piece of [ __ ] I know about the racial rant. I know about that. Disgusting.

  • 40:55

And the [ __ ] about his uh son's that. and the busting and the

  • 41:00

woman beating and I mean we going he he's got I mean I'm just saying like how long do I got to wait

  • 41:06

I wait for no I mean I wait 48 hours to tell you any [ __ ] but like at some point like but why or why have to say it?

  • 41:14

Um because if we don't say it then people will create a story about him that's not true

  • 41:19

and reinforce that story and that's harmful to me. It's that's it depends on who it is. Like we all ain't [ __ ] We

  • 41:24

all got [ __ ] in our skeletons. We all got [ __ ] up [ __ ] Myself included. Maybe especially me, right? So when I die, I expect there'll be a lot of good

  • 41:31

[ __ ] said and somebody's going to be like, "Yeah, but he wasn't [ __ ] on this thing." And they got a right to say that. You know what I'm saying? Now, I

  • 41:37

don't think that we should be at people's funeral screaming from the cheap seats like, "Fuck that guy." Right? I I think we should give people time and space.

  • 41:43

That's kind of what you're doing, right? It's kind of what people are doing right now. It's different. I give you example. Ronald Reagan destroyed he he put crack

  • 41:51

into this country. He I mean, we could go down a list of things make Ronald Reagan awful, right? Mhm. Mhm. When he dies, I don't got to pretend

  • 41:57

that he didn't do those things. You don't You You don't You don't got to say nothing. You can say nothing. True. And if it's

  • 42:04

    the average person who ain't [ __ ] I don't say nothing. I got a neighbor who ain't [ __ ] I ain't going past his funeral. I ain't I ain't I ain't

  • 42:10

tweeting about him. Like Jim wasn't [ __ ] Jim never Jim never cut his lawn. You know what I mean? Like [ __ ] you

  • 42:15

know what I mean? Like I might be like, "Fuck Jim, but I'm not go to the funeral. I ain't going to say nothing." But like when you do public work and

  • 42:20

public harm and it's like these ain't secrets, you know? I I knew Hulk Hogan, right? So I seen Excuse me.

  • 42:26

Yeah, I knew Hulk Hogan. Yeah, I mean what do you mean you knew Hulk Hogan? Mark Lamont Hill [ __ ]

  • 42:32

[ __ ] you talking about? Yeah, I knew I I got to know Hulk Hogan a bit. And to be honest, he was very nice to me. Oh, okay.

  • 42:38

He was super nice to me. I've interviewed him multiple times. I hate that. But you know him. I found out he wasn't

  • 42:44

[ __ ] I didn't The first time I interviewed him, he was great. Second time I interviewed him and uh what was his name? Uh Mouth of the South.

  • 42:49

Jimmy Hart. Jimmy Hart. And super night. He arm wrestled my daughter, you know what I mean? They had

  • 42:55

a whole match. He did a drop for. I was like, "Yo, this is the coolest [ __ ] alive." Right. Then like the next day, literally the

  • 43:01

next No, that day cuz I was with him when I was with Hulk Hogan when the Gawker thing happened. Mhm. When he when we found out that he had

  • 43:07

sex with his best friend's wife. Well, well, that that

  • 43:12

Billy Joel did and I do love for the longest time. Okay, fair enough. Billy Billy off.

  • 43:17

I want to strike that one for the record. We don't know the G. Wait, hold on. Let's scratch that

  • 43:23

[ __ ] record. Let's scratch that one from the record. I agree. But I'm just saying so I heard Oh, good. Huh? What's the other dude?

  • 43:28

What? Uh Sam, I just Yeah.

  • 43:34

    Again, people [ __ ] someone's wife. It's like Yeah. I'm just saying that was I was That wasn't why I don't [ __ ] with Hulk

  • 43:40

Hogan. Okay, but hold on real quick. He was nice to you. He was He was nice to arm wrestle his daughter.

  • 43:46

Yes. Super cool. But you can't like arm wrestle my daughter and be like, "I don't want Brooke to date a [ __ ] True. Unless

  • 43:52

    it's one of 8 foot tall [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] I'm racist. But let me say [ __ ] [ __ ] Those those

  • 43:57

are quotes by the way. I'm not like joking. That's literally what he say word for word. Hey, you know what's so crazy real quick? You and Mel, you guys take that

  • 44:05

stance a lot where it's like you have a rapport or relationship with somebody and because they do something that

  • 44:11

and I think that's disgusting what he did. You guys will go out there and and and speak against them.

  • 44:17

But it's not cuz my relationship with him. every he's never if anything it could be the opposite. He's been great.

  • 44:22

No, and that's what I mean. Like still ain't like like if I have a relationship with somebody

  • 44:28

and they do something publicly that's disgusting, I'm shutting the [ __ ] up. Me? Yeah. I'm not going to go I don't believe in

  • 44:34

kicking their back and I just don't believe in a relationship. If it's my friend, Hulk Hogan wasn't his friend.

  • 44:39

We had a professional thing where I interviewed you. You wasn't my man and I got to down hold it down for my man.

  • 44:45

Us New York [ __ ] still believe in that, bro. If you sit high if you sit high on morals, right? You sit high on

  • 44:50

having some I'm just okay not just I'm not saying you if you are someone of high morale, someone who would like to

  • 44:58

uh be at a higher standard than others. I think the worst thing you can do is wait for the person that you dislike to

  • 45:04

    die and the moment they die and [ __ ] on them. I've been [ __ ] on them for years. That's why I agree. That's why I [ __ ] on them

  • 45:10

for years. I think if you wait for them to die, that's [ __ ] up. I've been [ __ ] on Hulk Hogan for a solid eight years. Every chance I get. That's why we

  • 45:16

    don't That's why you don't [ __ ] with me no more cuz I I stopped. I couldn't support you. And I arm wrestled your daughter. You're

  • 45:21

thinking like I could explain what happened. I'm like, "No, you can't explain to me what happened." Like you called you said you don't [ __ ] with

  • 45:27

[ __ ] right? And not like I'm with you. You know, it's not just that. Hulk Hogan used to he broke down. He he basically

  • 45:33

tore up the WCW. I know it's not as big as calling me the n-word, but he he was the respons responsible for the tearing

  • 45:38

up of the WCW. He was a union buster. He [ __ ] up everybody else's money. I mean, you could I could name 10 things he did. All the domestic multiple

  • 45:45

domestic violence allegations. He was at the he he's be at the MAGA rallies. He was the one dissing Kla Harris this summer and not cuz of her policies. You

  • 45:52

know what I'm saying? Like he there's there's not a lot of good things to say about Hulk Hogan. I ain't getting into

  • 45:57

the steroid [ __ ] I mean like you can [ __ ] Hulk Hogan. Hey, look. I me Hulk Hogan was an

  • 46:05

important part of my childhood. Wrestling all of that [ __ ] It was Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man, all

  • 46:11

of them. Like, this guy is crazy. I'm personally I could I could see both. I could say, yo, this man here

  • 46:18

is a piece of [ __ ] Mhm. I can also acknowledge that this man here was an important part of my

  • 46:24

childhood. And I'm going to say rest in peace to him. How about this? That's just you hate Terry Bowl.

  • 46:29

    I don't I don't I don't I don't That's one way. Oh, yeah. That's a way to look at it, too. It's like I love Cliff Hustable. I hate Bill Cosby.

  • 46:35

Sure. It's the same [ __ ] character. We love the real person even back then wasn't [ __ ]

  • 46:41

It's always a tricky thing, you know. And I think it's okay to say that this person was great at what they did but

  • 46:47

was a [ __ ] in real life. I think I think it's completely I think it's also okay to just not say right

  • 46:52

after somebody or or you just sending your condolence really is not you

  • 46:57

standing by them as like yo you passed you dead at this point. Hopefully you have a better time in the

  • 47:02

afterlife. Everybody stand everybody. Yeah. Yeah. Everybody I don't think it's

  • 47:07

the thing to do to they had they made a flyer. They made a flyer with Hulk Hogan versus Quish Benois and

  • 47:14

the hell in the cell. They made like I'm like disgusting. What the You know what it is too? Pro

  • 47:20

wrestles are uniquely [ __ ] up people in a lot of What the pro I went to YouTube to type to see if that was a match.

  • 47:27

I said that wasn't a match. That [ __ ] for the university. Then I called on y'all went to YouTube.

  • 47:34

must wait. Hulk Hogan and Chris Benw it [ __ ] me up. I said, "Oh, that's some disrespectful [ __ ] that they're

  • 47:40

doing." It is. Condolences to his family at at bare

  • 47:47

minimum. I think we can send condolences to his family. I do agree with you about his family. I'm just joking. I'm just joking.

  • 47:54

I looked up to be like, "Have you talked to Brooke?" I do agree with what with what Mark

  • 48:00

said. you know, we love the character and and just like the I think it's a perfectly fine way to

  • 48:06

with all of these celebrities that we loved and became monsters. Like I think it's okay to be like, I liked R. Kelly

  • 48:13

the musician, but Robert Kelly the human being was a [ __ ] monster and go on down the list, right? Yep.

  • 48:19

And I think that's fine. Is there anybody pass is there anybody who I know you all got your rules, but

  • 48:25

is there anybody who if they died today, you just go to the singing to the rooftop like [ __ ] that guy? No.

  • 48:30

Mm-m. No, I don't believe in that. Even privately. Is there anybody where they die you kind of be like, "Nah,

  • 48:35

no. You [ __ ] Y'all know better people than me. You with me, right?" I'm trying to think of somebody, but I

  • 48:41

don't know if there is. Nah. Yo, you crazy. It ain't a lot of people. It's like three or four.

  • 48:47

Four is a lot. A lot. That's a lot of people, honestly. Who the other three I want to

  • 48:53

It's all people who did awful things to mass amounts of people. I'd have to think through it. Like,

  • 48:58

no, not even Donald. I mean, when Donald Trump got co though, I was rooting for like Holy [ __ ] Let me ask you a question.

  • 49:04

I don't when you Yeah. Or like when that sniper just missed him.

  • 49:09

Mark question. I hire better people. Do you Do you like Whoopy Goldberg? Do I like Whoopy Goldberg? Yes. I like

  • 49:15

Whoopy Goldberg. Whoopy Goldberg stood by Mel Gibson after his No. Ted D. Ted. Oh,

  • 49:21

Mel Gibson. Passion. Passion of Christ. Yes. Oh, yeah. She stood She stood by Mel Gibson. She

  • 49:26

and she said that the guy that you heard is not the guy that I know. I kind of follow her ideology,

  • 49:32

right? Like I'm not going to get on here. I had I had a relationship with this man for years. I'm not going to get

  • 49:37

on here and bash this man because society is bashing him now. And I I'm

  • 49:43

just against that. I'm not against you. But I said the same I said the same thing with to Mel when and I hate to use

  • 49:50

Kanye as an example. I was just saying like damn like did you have a good rapport? Did you speak? Did you have a

  • 49:55

relationship? How good was your relationship for you? And I'm down with her saying, "Yo, he did that racist

  • 50:00

    [ __ ] Whatever he's saying against the community, I don't [ __ ] with Kanye." I'm down with her saying that. But it's just

  • 50:07

I I would prefer people who have relationship with people just to be quiet. I think I think it depends on

  • 50:13

your relationship the Okay. Yeah. I think it depends on your But it's so easy to do that though, right? It's so easy. If I shake your

  • 50:18

hand and I and I vibe with you, I'm not going to kick your back in. Listen to this. So listen to I'm glad you never like shook Donald Trump's hand

  • 50:24

or Osama bin Laden cuz you just be like, "No, no, that's my man. That's my man." Say that. Hold on. Not

  • 50:30

saying nothing and saying that's your man is two different things. I don't have to say something cuz I know

  • 50:35

how I would feel if if I did something and sometimes it's my story, their

  • 50:40

story, and the truth. I haven't did anything like they did. They did it out. And there's no excuse for what they did. I'm just saying that I know how I would

  • 50:47

feel. I do a little bit of [ __ ] and people that's cool with me comment on it and I know how I feel like damn [ __ ]

  • 50:53

like I don't like that. Like [ __ ] we you're not getting on a public forum disrespecting a whole entire race of

  • 50:59

people. I'm not right. Like you're not getting on a public forum just [ __ ] on a whole religion or [ __ ] on like

  • 51:06

it's certain lines that I think as men or as people should be drawn in the sand that that that

  • 51:13

depict you in a certain way and depict your character in a certain way. And if you put that out there to the world,

  • 51:18

then you have to take what comes along with that. You understand what I'm saying? So I might have met Parks twice.

  • 51:24

To me, he was a cool dude. Now if I go see Parks over here shooting up a school, I'm not going to not speak.

  • 51:30

I don't like the implication of that. I'm trying to be as possible. I say, "Yo, I met Parks a

  • 51:38

couple times. He mixed my [ __ ] real good, but he shot up to school." No, he a piece of [ __ ]

  • 51:44

And I can speak on that. Got you. You get what I'm saying? Like, so I just think that me and Parks was friends for 30 years and somebody says something

  • 51:51

disparaging about Parks, that's not the man that I know. The man that I know could take his shirt off his back and give it to somebody and I know who he

  • 51:58

is. I never met that guy. So, I'm not going to just throw away 30 years of a relationship that I have. In Whoopi's

  • 52:04

defense, I'm not going to throw away 30 years of a relationship that I got with this man that has only been an amazing

  • 52:09

person to me because of that. I have always been known to be the guy that would give the trench coat off my very

  • 52:15

black trench coat. Okay, Omar. And sometime we got accepted the people

  • 52:20

we know and who we have relationships with actually really ain't [ __ ] and they're just good to us. They go to us.

  • 52:25

There's a lot of that. There's a lot of that. A lot of that, right? Especially Especially now that we're in this line of work. People always going to be nice to us.

  • 52:32

Yeah. You know what I mean? Like that don't mean [ __ ] Yeah. You know, I don't know. Speak for yourself, buddy. Rest in peace. Thoughts

  • 52:39

and Hulk Hogan is dead. Maybe maybe we

  • 52:44

should do I've been waiting for this. This is like white outstanding.

  • 52:51

I love it. They are wild. Wait, go get it down for

  • 52:57

    the Who's got the

  • 53:04

guys are nuts. I don't like this [ __ ] at all. Yeah.

  • 53:09

    [Music] fire.

  • 53:17

[Music] All right. All right, folks. God damn.

  • 53:26

I get Billy Joel and Hog is dead. It's my dad. It's

  • 53:32

Things are turning around for Omar. Holy [ __ ] Oh yo, this is disgusting.

  • 53:38

Mark is usually so good at obituaries. Like you're exceptional. Even the start of the Hulk obituary was fantastic. He's

  • 53:46

an American hero and then and he's a piece of [ __ ] That was incredible.

  • 53:51

Yo, what? Look, it be like that. Yeah. Hey man, I want to hear the rest of the people on your list.

  • 53:57

I'm dying to know. Yo, it it's all people like like like despotically. I know one. I know one.

  • 54:03

All right. I know Joe was not here and you guys going to like to go a thousand five hours. Excuse me. No side talk,

  • 54:10

[ __ ] I'm here now. Sorry. Put your foot down. Yeah.

  • 54:15

Say something on my foot. But listen, you know what time it is.

Yeah, man. M I know you had a um we talked a lot about Hulk Hogan and Malcolm Jamar Warner, all the legends

  • 56:19

passed away. Aussie Osborne. You had your own that you wanted to add to that mix at Pantheon. Yeah, I sent I sent uh I was hurt by

  • 56:26

this man. Uh legendary jazz musician, Chuck Manion, man. He passed.

  • 56:31

Rest in peace to Chuck, man. You know, I sent it out to the group chat and everybody was like, inspired you? I was actually meaning to go take

  • 56:36

pictures of my records and send it and be like, see, I'm up, you know, but yeah, I was busy. I checked the group chat and

  • 56:42

see what you what the I'm I'm a Chuck man fan. So, I was actually I listened to Feel So Good yesterday. So good.

  • 56:47

Just as a kind of tribute to him. Okay. Yes. Hogan died. No way in the world we leave him out. I

  • 56:52

don't know. So everybody laughed at you. I think it just got ignored. He just got ignored. Cory laughed. He

  • 56:58

Imani sent it and then responded to it before anybody else could say something. He was like, "Before y'all leave, before

  • 57:05

y'all all say, "Who is this? He's a legendary jazz musician." Cuz I knew no one know. But we have to

  • 57:10

disrespect that. We listen to music. Well, you do. Some of us I know. Yeah. I figured Ju would know, but for ish.

  • 57:17

Well, I keep forgetting you chat. See, we all we all Why you just don't enter the group chat?

  • 57:22

He needs to get got to get invited to the group chat. Go get the iPhone that you got. I think I'mma buy a phone to enter your

  • 57:28

holding one in his hand. [ __ ] I that's not an iPhone. Oh, that's a Samsung. Oh, you got an iPhone, don't you? Yeah.

  • 57:33

Go get that one. Hook it to Wildfly so that you can be a part. It really is important. You're missing a

  • 57:39

lot of stuff. A lot of team building. Yo, dog. If it's that important, who the [ __ ] cares about what color the bubble is and put me in the group chat.

  • 57:45

No, we good. We care about the color. I know. I know. Ish. Good luck.

  • 57:50

I don't respond to that. I don't be in there talking. Yeah. Say like one thing and then they need they need to kick me out that [ __ ]

  • 57:56

Throw me out, [ __ ] If it's not in there, throw me out. I got you. See, that's my man right there.

  • 58:02

    Yeah, that's Wait, he's not your castmate. Not your co-host. That's my man, [ __ ] [ __ ] be telling me when [ __ ] be

  • 58:08

telling me they about to push on flip, I'll be like, "What?" Yeah. You keep them off of them. Got to hold

  • 58:16

him back. It's honorable. Rest in peace to Chuck who made you. Yes.

  • 58:22

Go ahead. Say it. What you want to say? That tracks.

  • 58:27

Stop. Yo, rest in peace, man. Yo, with no disrespect. Why would you say that to our group?

  • 58:33

Like for real. Like he's a legend. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Why would you

  • 58:39

send that to us? I was a little surprised you said it, too. Yeah. certain recipes you keep to yourself.

  • 58:47

Like, come on. Cuz now we have to like now [ __ ] on him. Yeah, we don't want to [ __ ] on him. Rest in peace to Mr. Chuck.

  • 58:54

I I want I want to put you on to some good [ __ ] Actually, go pick I will I will I will pick it up. That might be your next tattoo.

  • 59:00

No, I'm about to get on this off. Can you explain to me? Seriously, and I know we got to get to new music,

  • 59:05

but and forgive me if you've already said this, but why do you have so many white people tattooing?

  • 59:11

Okay. I was at a point in my life when things were low and these movies

  • 59:18

inspired me and put me in very good 34th Street and [ __ ]

  • 59:24

as a child like these movies stood out to me right and his

  • 59:29

and a fair no wait who's on who is on you Carrie Grant and a fair to remember I

  • 59:35

who the James Stewart [ __ ] you should do a shout out man if you got Carrie Grant tattooed on your

  • 59:40

body he wasn't racist James Stewart was being racist I'm just talking But you also have James Stewart on your body. Yeah, by mistake. I didn't know. I found

  • 59:46

out that I found out racism later. Put your Hulk Hogan on there, too. Oh, you never [ __ ] I'm about to get

  • 59:51

Malcolm X, Martin Luther King. All right, catch up. Uh Gibson,

  • 59:56

watch your mouth. Not Bill Gibson, Marcus Garvey. Rapit. Nah, I'm just saying. So those movies did a lot for me as a I remember every

  • 1:00:04

time I watched those movies as a kid, it just put me in a different space, man. That's That makes sense. So So you went to No, don't say it makes no don't say it makes

  • 1:00:10

    sense, [ __ ] I can't agree with you. Was a little [ __ ] named from a Christmas story. That was

  • 1:00:16

You going to shoot a littleie? You ain't going to shoot

  • 1:00:22

the other nigga's tongue stuck to the Are you [ __ ] crazy? You see that's wrong. Hold on. Wait.

  • 1:00:29

That's what's wrong with men and that's that's what's this is what's wrong with black and white a white man. What happened is when it comes

  • 1:00:36

when it comes to being sentimental, emotional, emotionally intelligent, talking about our feelings, sharing with

  • 1:00:42

you guys as my brothers. Hold on. As my brother Hey yo, listen. As a kid, there were and growing up there were movies

  • 1:00:48

that brought me out of my that put me in a different world. There was nothing intelligent about putting some white men

  • 1:00:55

on your body. No, I didn't care. You wanted to be stupid. That's wild. I put the scene in the middle of Queens and you put the

  • 1:01:01

scene of the movie. I didn't put I didn't was the little [ __ ] standing by me or something.

  • 1:01:06

What was the race and gender of the person that tattooed it? Uh they're Spanish.

  • 1:01:11

Okay. All right. How old were you when you got it done? As I I was an adult. Like how old? How old?

  • 1:01:16

Your chest big. You had to be my dad to fit your [ __ ] up there stretched out.

  • 1:01:22

So you was like 25 getting these people on. 30. 30? No the [ __ ] he wasn't? Yes he was. I think it was like 20 something. 30.

  • 1:01:29

30 now, right? Yeah. Yeah. Go get Sean Conry. So 8 years ago you went to a tattoo

  • 1:01:34

parlor and said, "Put Jimmy Stewart in." No. Well, 8 years ago when I was popping, I was able to have people come

  • 1:01:39

to the hotel. They came They came to the the penthouse that I was in and tattooed. Oh, he had to add the Is this what

  • 1:01:45

happened? Did they try to talk you out of it? This the last time. Did they try to talk you out of it? They like, "You They thought it was strange." But I

  • 1:01:50

explained the same thing to them like, "Yo, these parts of the movie was meant a lot to me." And I just was trying [ __ ] Why you ain't just get the [ __ ]

  • 1:01:56

from Goonies and be like, "Hey, all right. Why

  • 1:02:02

d Chinese dude d It does bother me that to find out that James Stewart was

  • 1:02:08

racist. I'm about to cover this whole You didn't Google him before you put him on your body?" No, I I just It was the part of the movie. Mark, it was just a scene. I took

  • 1:02:15

    a scene and put it on there. This wasn't a [ __ ] stamp, [ __ ]

  • 1:02:20

    I got a [ __ ] stamp on my chest. I got a race. You got a ramp. That's funny.

  • 1:02:29

Oh [ __ ] Let me put Uncle Ruckus on my chest next. Right. Yeah. Keep going, you [ __ ] Uncle Ruckus might

  • 1:02:36

actually have Jimmy Stewart and K on his chest. You didn't know that K wasn't racist. But you didn't know Jason was racist.

  • 1:02:41

Of course I did. I didn't know. He has a book of all the racist, right? He might be on the Mount

  • 1:02:46

Rushmore. Yeah. Right next to Oh,

  • 1:02:52

you know how to make a brother feel bad. You should be ashamed of yourself, doctor. You're a doctor. I apolog I I apologize.

  • 1:02:58

Come on, my man. Yo, but this some new music we got to talk about. New music. Yes, we do, man. Let's get right to it. Freddy Gibbs,

  • 1:03:05

Alchemist. Yo, this Alfredo 2. Is this what he just Jim Jones in a

  • 1:03:10

minute? Maybe. Let's open interpretation, huh? Freddy's a few people. A few few

  • 1:03:16

people got some bars. I want Parks. I don't like that. All right, Parks. Don't give him the

  • 1:03:21

whole joint. Yeah, you're right. You're right. You're right. My bad. My bad. My bad. I was robbing. I was You get lost in this [ __ ] Yo, you can't Yo, honestly, this is my

  • 1:03:28

favorite album. And I thought the Clips was like my my album of the year. This is right there with you. It's right there. It's right there with

  • 1:03:33

this This goes to my point that when everybody kept saying about the Clips album that, yo, it's a pivot. It's a pivot. And everybody,

  • 1:03:39

this is going to prove what I've been trying to say. They marketed the hell out of that album and it's an amazing

  • 1:03:44

album. I don't I think this album, if it's right there, if it's not, it's

  • 1:03:50

better. I I think it's better. I almost want to say it's better, but it's on first I think it's better, but

  • 1:03:56

uh I'm not better. I think it's missing the depth of like the the birds and you know what I mean? Like it's it's missing

  • 1:04:02

a little bit of that. That's the only thing that's going to make it different for me. The like the concept of the album already makes it

  • 1:04:08

better for me. The the clips album. I enjoyed this one sonically more. Sure. And so that was a little bit of

  • 1:04:14

it. But I I see your point. I get it. I I'm not mad. I don't think it's a wrong choice. Yeah. No, they right. Like I said, it's

  • 1:04:19

right there. Yeah, they right there. Gibb Gibbs run as far as putting out projects

  • 1:04:24

needs to be spoken about. Just the level of rapping he's doing. Mhm. And he a rapper.

  • 1:04:30

Yeah. But it's he's a lot of consistent, bro. A lot of the rapper rappers that be they

  • 1:04:35

Achilles heel like they can't make an album. You can't make albums. Yeah. You can rap You can go in there and get

  • 1:04:41

on a freestyle and go crazy every single time. You can jump on somebody else beat and go crazy every single time.

  • 1:04:46

Be trash. Exactly. But putting a cohesive album together and this ain't the first,

  • 1:04:51

second, third, fourth or fifth time that he's done it. That's true. Right. So he throwing some He's throwing some

  • 1:04:57

shots. And I feel like the whole album is throwing shots. He's throwing some shots. I like that about Gibbs, though. Yeah, me too.

  • 1:05:02

You know, I like it. I like that. Alchemist. I feel like went into some different bags on this. There's a lot

  • 1:05:07

more drums and and low end. Like [ __ ] is knocking a little bit more than typical Alchemist project. Another person we got

  • 1:05:14

to talk about the run that he's been on stuff he did with Hit Boy and he and [ __ ] the the two

  • 1:05:21

and June. I don't want to really Larry June. That album to me was in number two until maybe this one pushes it.

  • 1:05:27

Mhm. I I I think rappers really need to pay attention to what the clips and Freddy

  • 1:05:34

and get with a producer to really shape that sound of all that if you're really

  • 1:05:40

trying to make a cohesive album. I agree. Get with a a executive producer who

  • 1:05:45

understands what it is to make an album, not just giving you a cool beat. That that is a lost art at this point.

  • 1:05:51

You think they can afford it? Uh I don't know. I don't always think it's the um you

  • 1:05:56

have to go get the biggest name producer. Sometimes it's just synergy. Sometimes it's just them knowing you and

  • 1:06:01

get some low. Bro, I'll give you I'll give you an example, dog. And this was my biggest knock on when I was talking about ESTG.

  • 1:06:09

He came in the game with Forever Rolling. Many people ain't know who he was. It's not a bign name producer, but together they sound

  • 1:06:16

was perfect for him. So they can go do a whole project and now you get what I'm saying? It don't

  • 1:06:21

you don't got to go get AL or Fel or something like that. Just get who works for you. Lock in and y'all build

  • 1:06:27

together. Stop trying to just A lot of times too it's not even necessarily like you got to pay Alchemist or Fel or whoever for every

  • 1:06:35

beat. It's like you can do a partnership album where you're just splitting the album and it's released on both our levels.

  • 1:06:41

Executive producing an album does not mean that you're actually a person producing everything. Sometimes you

  • 1:06:46

might go ahead and bring some people in, but let someone have an idea for where this album needs to go. Let them structure it so they don't know what

  • 1:06:52

they're doing. Yeah. This album, I mean, we talk, bro, I'm not trying. We talk about Nas is one of the greatest

  • 1:06:59

ever. But the big knock against him was what? Beating. And then what happens? You sit down with Hit Boy

  • 1:07:05

and knocked out of two classic series. Yeah. I think that was unfair what they were putting on him. But yeah, but I I get

  • 1:07:10

it. It was unfair a little bit but a little unfair but it was some truth in there a little bit. So yeah,

  • 1:07:15

they killed Trackmasters production like that wasn't fair. You know what I'm saying? Like everything don't work but it don't

  • 1:07:21

everything don't work for everybody. That don't mean we going to mess just because you the best over here. You heard me right.

  • 1:07:26

But it was written was a classic but at the time people were like oh man it's all this clean production and that's

  • 1:07:32

looking back at it now like it wasn't that clean and I like it better than I illicat. A super classic. Yeah. Oh, I hate that

  • 1:07:38

conversation. But yeah, we're not going to have it again. But yeah, I I hear it. I respect it. But yeah, I think that's crazy.

  • 1:07:43

Is there Is there anything else in new music? Well, oh, there's plenty of stuff. I just wanted to add another piece to this Tyler thing cuz I at the conversation we

  • 1:07:50

had a couple days ago, I hadn't heard it yet. Mhm. I don't [ __ ] Joe was talking about. I mean, he was a little clown a little

  • 1:07:55

bit. The sound of it like it was like '8s like [ __ ] sound good. It sounds amazing. That [ __ ] is fire.

  • 1:08:01

I heard in the car. It do got an 80s feel to it. It does have a '8s feel to it. Yeah. It's just not the '8s music he was

  • 1:08:06

playing. The different 80s on joking, but I get it. No, it it has a '8s feel to it. Mostly

  • 1:08:13

all the songs that I heard, you could literally I had a really horrible joke and I'm going to leave it alone. Carry on.

  • 1:08:19

It was a It's an inappropriate. We just we just say it and then just in case we got lure him into your little Hey.

  • 1:08:25

Yeah. No, no, it's fine. No, but it's 29 minutes of great music to me. I listened to it a few times cuz it's a short album. I was able to listen

  • 1:08:30

to it a few times over a short amount of time and I I loved every track uh down to the last track when last track which is made my favorite one. It

  • 1:08:36

was like it was time to it was back at the top of the album again. I was like yo that was a good ride. It was 29 minutes and he did a pop up in

  • 1:08:42

Brooklyn a couple days ago. I I know some people who were there and they said it was crazy. It was under the bridge or some [ __ ]

  • 1:08:47

right? Yeah. Under Tyler has entered that uh level of artistry where there's I don't

  • 1:08:54

think it's possible for him to make bad music. It's not. It's just going to be a matter of if you're into it at the

  • 1:08:59

moment and whatever his creative direction is like that. I I listened to it yesterday and I was like I was blown away by it actually.

  • 1:09:05

I just like that every album's progressing. It has a different sound. The look of it is different. He's going

  • 1:09:11

into more of uh getting off an idea, getting off an actual concept instead of

  • 1:09:16

it. It reminded me when Kanye was in his bag at that moment where he was like, I don't know what he's about to do next, but I'm going to just go for it. And again, I might not love this one or that

  • 1:09:22

one, but I I appreciate the artistry of it. I felt the same way listening to this. And the last and the last Tyler album I felt the same way.

  • 1:09:29

And it's interesting. And the one before that one before that. And the one before that, right?

  • 1:09:35

Yeah. He's been a very [ __ ] Yeah. Yeah. And it's it's like gener generational. My nephew was like I think

  • 1:09:41

like 12 or something. I don't know. But he he listen he's a huge fan. He was at the show in Philly like I mean like screaming, jumping up and you know and

  • 1:09:47

the whole crowd's there. I got my friends who were at under the under the bridge in Brooklyn the other day. And it's like his fan base is so wide and

  • 1:09:53

the music the body of work is so long now. You you can go back a couple decades now. You know what I'm saying? It's it's just different like and it's funny cuz his his first

  • 1:10:00

introduction to me it was kind of like this kid who didn't take anything serious. Yeah, for sure. But you see in his art like he takes

  • 1:10:07

this what he grew into, right? Yeah. Like what he grew into the way he speaks about hip-hop now. whenever you hear him, he's like,

  • 1:10:14

uh, I see him in the future being one of the spoke big spokesman's for hip-hop. Just as far as elder statesman, the

  • 1:10:22

people that you look up to would be him. Uh, I think in the last

  • 1:10:27

eight years, maybe. I'm not sure if you can name someone who makes better albums than Tyler. Uh, I I I don't I don't have a fight

  • 1:10:34

with you on that. You're a like I mean Kendrick. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Kendrick.

  • 1:10:40

Yeah. I think he's like they're in the same conversation. Yeah, they're in that conversation. I would say Tyler more but but but in

  • 1:10:47

the same conversation. I think he makes more uh there there's more room for for everyone

  • 1:10:53

to love a Tyler album maybe. Yeah, I think you know Kendrick really does stick to a certain base as far as

  • 1:10:59

hip-hop wise go and Tyler goes to places where whether he's singing or whether he's rapping. So yeah, I give you that. But as far as the

  • 1:11:06

quality, they they both they can I mean yeah it's it's again which one do you like? Which one do you like? What What else is out there is

  • 1:11:12

dope? Oh, well real quick cuz the they're looking at we were talking about what Tyler might do first week.

  • 1:11:18

    Mhm. Tyler said,

  • 1:11:24

"Stop playing with me." Was like two something 215. Oh [ __ ] In a short week. Yeah. I had him at like 160 170. And I was

  • 1:11:32

feeling like that was generous. That's why cuz you dropped on Monday. Dropped on Monday. Oh, the short week. But my thought was that week two he

  • 1:11:37

would it would even out. Like basically he would kill everybody week two and I still think he is going to kill everybody in week two.

  • 1:11:42

But he's he's they said 140,000 of that is pure sales. Wow.

  • 1:11:47

Even the pure sales number is that's fire. Salute. Yeah. Round

  • 1:11:53

well [ __ ] deserved. Yeah, for sure. Not the numbers matter, but still. Yeah, numbers don't matter, but you see

  • 1:11:58

highlight [ __ ] I'm not sure if it did he post something about him and Frank Ocean being like

  • 1:12:03

it's a rap. I didn't see that. People kept asking and he made a post like, "Yo,

  • 1:12:08

wait, say more. I make sure we talk about the same thing." Not a rap, but just saying like they're no longer cool. They're disconnected. Odd Future's

  • 1:12:15

    over. Don't ever I didn't hear that. That's unfortunate. I didn't hear it, but we haven't seen

  • 1:12:20

Odd Future as a collective in 10 years. There's no surprise there, but I didn't realize it was a any reason why given he

  • 1:12:28

didn't say. That's unfortunate. Frank seem to be doing whatever he's doing. But I can see how that that would just be

  • 1:12:33

  • 1:23:46

I was up in everywhere I go. Like what? Yo, we could take a little weekend trip

  • 1:23:52

to London just to hear this everywhere. I don't like the fact that [ __ ] ask about is too much. They didn't ask me,

  • 1:23:57

but they ask them. I don't like that. I'm not even joking. At least three or four times a week. I feel like I'm not Yeah. Like I'm not

  • 1:24:03

Whatever circle y'all in, you want to be down. They ask me about you, too, but like it's just they ask me in Jersey. They ask me about him. They ask me about you.

    Oh [ __ ] Nobody ask

  • 1:24:27

when I walk in the building like Jesus is outside. Why you [ __ ] my weird? You know what's funny? Y'all might be the only two people that people ask me

  • 1:24:33

about up here. That makes sense. Only two people. Like they might make comments about

  • 1:24:39

March's a rising star, man. Girl, because he don't go outside and no one thinks I would you would know me. Oh [ __ ] Hey yo, listen.

  • 1:24:50

Every time I'm at the library somewhere, I'll be outside of Starbucks. Hello, how are you? like good day. Is Mark being up

  • 1:25:09

there to Ray talking to me about Mark? Tor is supposed to be a day in his life, [ __ ] Oh, listen. Mom. Yeah, man. I saw back

  • 1:25:15

outside again. I know he was hiding from Puff for a little bit. I said, man, he's just a man. I teased him about that. All right.

  • 1:25:22

Yo, but you know, he he's still shook. Remember when he found out when he saw that verdict, he was like, I didn't I wasn't saying anything bad about Puff.

  • 1:25:28

I'm just a journalist. When you thought that was getting life, he was talking crazy. He's a monster.

  • 1:25:35

He's a brother. Anybody can change. Everybody deserves a second chance.

  • 1:25:41

Oh [ __ ] The whole story shaking.

  • 1:25:46

Take that. Take that. Oh man. You brother for

  • 1:25:54

That's why I'm teasing him. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I don't know you, bro. I'm just up here for jokes. Who your best friend like in business

  • 1:26:01

that you built relationship with? In in in the in the industry. in the industry. Patty Leel, Pierce Morgan.

  • 1:26:08

I don't got a lot of industry friends, honestly. Um, Ben Van Le will be up there at the top toward the top. He He's

  • 1:26:13

the first person I'm thinking of. I mean, the seals. You guys do have matching cowboy hats and don't drink Cosmos.

  • 1:26:20

They weren't Cosmos. I said Amanda. French martini. Big difference. You said Amanda Seals. Amanda Seals and um and Van Lee.

  • 1:26:30

No, no, we ain't going to do that. That's my That's my sister. People feel away about it. They can talk about I'm not going I don't want to be a

  • 1:26:35

part of that. But but you just about Hulk Hogan, [ __ ] You just talked about Hulk Hogan. Yeah. One of yall had a relationship

  • 1:26:40

with Hulk Hogan the way I do my friend. I was [ __ ] system old enough to you was

  • 1:26:48

you was and sister subjective 83. Oh that's true. That's true. You change the subject. I'm turn

  • 1:26:55

you my man. I thought you were more of I know you were in Michael Jackson back then. I didn't know you Hulk Hogan too. The ' 80s era was Hulk Hogan. Michael Jackson.

  • 1:27:02

Eddie Murphy and the Cosby that that was the dominance of yo. What year you was born?

  • 1:27:07

    83. Yeah. I think we all we all around 83. Yeah.

  • 1:27:12

No, I was born 87. No, I'm talking about Yeah, we talking about me. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yo, on some music [ __ ] man. Um

  • 1:27:20

I'm conflicted about this Gorilla thing. Have y'all Did y'all catch this case?

  • 1:27:26

Yeah, I did. She uh she had let me give you all the details

  • 1:27:31

of it because I want to make sure I have the the facts right. But basically uh her home was burglarized. She wasn't

  • 1:27:36

there and when the police arrived they discovered items in her home.

  • 1:27:42

This was uh Sunday, July 20th. The call came at 1:30 a.m. and was in response to a burglary in progress. It was reported

  • 1:27:48

that three suspects had entered Gorilla's home and were in the process of stealing items when an armed occupant fired at the intruders. the suspects

  • 1:27:55

fled the scene and it does not appear that any of them were struck. That was the police statement. Now, y'all can take the police statement however y'all

  • 1:28:00

want. No, that's what I read. But I'm just saying whether people believe the police or not is a different, but that's what they said.

  • 1:28:05

While on the scene, they the police say deputies detected a strong odor consistent with illegal narcotics. As a

  • 1:28:11

result, the regional drug task force was contacted and responded to the residents. They found what they called

  • 1:28:16

after getting a search warrant a significant amount of marijuana in her master bedroom closet.

  • 1:28:23

Mhm. Um, she was charged then with felony possession of marijuana and possession of schedule one controlled

  • 1:28:29

substance. Uh, and at one point I had read that she was charged with possession with intent to distribute, but uh, that may have changed, but she

  • 1:28:35

had turned herself in and was eventually released on a $22,000 bond, which means she had like almost a

  • 1:28:41

quarter of a million dollar bail. Um, that doesn't seem right.

  • 1:28:47

That's where I'm at. Georgia, right? Yeah. Yeah, it's Georgia, so there's no surprise there. I I How do y'all feel

  • 1:28:52

about it? I've seen it happen before. You said you've seen it happen before.

  • 1:28:58

It's I don't want to It's not legal at all. No, it's not legal. And technically

  • 1:29:04

technically, it's really still illegal everywhere on the federal level. True. It's just they decriminalize on the

  • 1:29:09

state level and people choose not to do anything about it, but technically it's still on the list to control substances.

  • 1:29:14

Um I it feels really [ __ ] up that your house gets burglarized, the police come

  • 1:29:20

to help you and you end up getting locked up for the weedness in your closet, right? Mhm. That seems wild. It seems to me like maybe the burglars

  • 1:29:26

put it there. That's the only thing I can think of. I'm sure that's what happened. Yeah. Did she called? They were criminals.

  • 1:29:32

She wasn't home. She wasn't even home. Somebody was in Somebody was in the house. So somebody called 911 before

  • 1:29:38

they started letting go cuz they got the [ __ ] out of there. Quick, fast,

  • 1:29:43

right? They start love board mission. I wonder if the person knew that that was up there. It don't matter. In the middle of at

  • 1:29:49

1:30 in the morning, you sleep. Three [ __ ] come in your crib. You're not like, "Yo, damn, I got the weed in the closet,

  • 1:29:54

right?" You know, [ __ ] Right. It also seems fun cuz maybe that person was just enjoying a a stress relieving

  • 1:30:00

doobie. That is likely what happened. I think it depends on the quantity. Yeah. Did they release the

  • 1:30:05

I'm saying they smelled weed and they do a whole search like That's what's weird about it cuz you don't have so much weed in the closet

  • 1:30:11

that you smell it, right? The person was probably lighting the L. They smell the weed and they use it as an excuse to search the house. Come on now.

  • 1:30:16

Whoa. Whoa. I'm not going to hold you. Some of this. That's true. That [ __ ] Whiz Khalifa little

  • 1:30:22

I have had some weeds uh in my house. One of them. One joint. That Whiz

  • 1:30:28

Khalifa [ __ ] made the whole basement. My bedroom, my [ __ ] My bedroom is big. Very big.

  • 1:30:34

Okay. Stunted. I'm not trying to Mr. East talking [ __ ] Mr. East, dog. When I walk up the steps, when I

  • 1:30:41

    first got that [ __ ] that [ __ ] was loud through my whole room, my [ __ ] It died down a little. I ain't even two

  • 1:30:48

nothing with it. I died down. So, if you had a pound of that and it ain't vacuum sealed and all that,

  • 1:30:54

it's just [ __ ] It light it light up. Yeah. And this is where also I feel like being rich needs to be considered.

  • 1:30:59

Mhm. Because the quantities matter. Yeah. The quantity is considered an amount to distribute based on the charge

  • 1:31:04

of to distribute is based on the quantity. But if you're rich, I'm buying

  • 1:31:13

a pound or two of weed. I mean, so I don't have to pe keep going to the weed man, right?

  • 1:31:18

The police didn't know that it was Gorilla at the time, so I know what they were thinking, especially Georgia. I

  • 1:31:24

spent a decent amount of time with Georgia police. They thinking, "Somebody broke in. This is some gang [ __ ] This some hood.

  • 1:31:30

    I smell drugs and guns. Somebody's getting a charge. Yeah, this [ __ ] this [ __ ] going to get this [ __ ] going to get

  • 1:31:36

she'll be all right. I don't Well, she'll be all right. I think she can beat this. Again, I I share Parks's perspective, his

  • 1:31:43

hypothesis, that somebody came in the burgers came in and put it in there. They usually do. Yeah. They planted that.

  • 1:31:49

Yeah. I got all kinds of stuff planted, but nerve them. Yeah. I'm glad my people got them out of

  • 1:31:54

there before they planted the guns. Yeah. You said you said you knew somebody that went through this. Yes. Very similar. Um had their home

  • 1:32:01

broken into. Mhm. Uh home invasion. They were actually home tied tied up the whole [ __ ] And when the police came,

  • 1:32:07

they tied up tied up the occupants of the house. Wow. Oh [ __ ] And when they were look uh someone was

  • 1:32:14

someone's boyfriend was selling drugs out of the house. So the home invasion was looking for him

  • 1:32:19

and what he had. Mhm. He wasn't there. They tied them up, ransacked the place, didn't find what they wanted, left. The occupants called

  • 1:32:27

the police. The police came. They saw a little paraphernalia and stuff like that around,

  • 1:32:33

tricked a girl and said, "Hey, come to the police station. We got somebody. We want you to do a lineup."

  • 1:32:40

And when they walked into the police station, arrested them. Because the girl, the girl and her roommate, their names were on the lease.

  • 1:32:45

[ __ ] So, it's y'all place. We found this here. We arresting y'all so y'all can give up whose stuff it really was.

  • 1:32:52

They didn't do it. And got a They got a charge in that situation. the uh invaders 100%

  • 1:32:58

left their drugs behind. So the only thing I can think of left behind it it's [ __ ] up. I understand though cuz we

  • 1:33:04

were talking about this at home because my wife is like why would this feels unfair for the police to be able to do that and I said well

  • 1:33:10

what if I had a what if we got what if somebody called a burglary in the situation. And there was a kid tied up in the closet

  • 1:33:16

or a person tied up in the closet or a bunch of a bunch of machine guns on the I mean there have that just cuz you

  • 1:33:21

called them doesn't mean that that's true cuz also like move that [ __ ] right like if if you doing some real wild [ __ ] I

  • 1:33:26

get this was a different circumstance and I feel bad for glo I think this is unfair. This is why we need to you know what I need you know what I

  • 1:33:32

hate I hate the way we read some [ __ ] and it's written up because there's a science in in how you

  • 1:33:38

word things. So, I think that like calling somebody refugees or other, you

  • 1:33:43

know what I mean? Like all of that verbiage and all of that [ __ ] matters. I wish they would have told the amount. Yeah, for sure.

  • 1:33:49

And they didn't tell the amount. And so sometimes if it's a pound of weed, people looking at that [ __ ] like, "Yo, fam, she's rich." Right.

  • 1:33:55

That [ __ ] ain't nothing. They said the only thing they said was over an ounce. So it could have been an ounce and an eighth, you know what I

  • 1:34:00

mean? Or it could have been, yo, a pound of weed. People buy a pound of weed, bro. If you are a smoker and you smoke every

  • 1:34:07

day and you rich and you buying what y'all what y'all call goods or loud or fire whatever the [ __ ] [ __ ]

  • 1:34:13

    buy that [ __ ] very hips

  • 1:34:19

and you're smoking the devil's lettuce everybody

  • 1:34:34

    smoke that [ __ ] [ __ ] Chocolate. All that [ __ ] played out. Blacks. That's all played out.

  • 1:34:39

Said blacks. Got new names. I remember blacks. Yeah, they got some new [ __ ] Yeah, they got new [ __ ]

  • 1:34:45

    God dancing.

  • 1:34:50

You got to get hit this. Yo, take this [ __ ] out this weekend, man. He don't want to be young. You don't think I'm not performing for

  • 1:34:56

the You know what I mean? He don't want to be that. The [ __ ] is comfortable being old. That's his bag.

  • 1:35:01

Like, I'm old. There's nothing wrong with being comfortable being old though. That's why I'm at I don't want to be young people know this like

  • 1:35:08

I let my kids know that [ __ ] I don't even want to be around young people. I know that the other day. Are you you comfortable getting older as

  • 1:35:13

well? Hell yeah. I said that the other day. I was like yo I'm at the point cuz I was in the mall and there was like teenagers in there

  • 1:35:20

and I was like I want to leave just because there's too many young [ __ ] here. I'm not comfortable with school. Everybody out of school.

  • 1:35:27

Yeah. Like I'm out of here. I'm I'm I'm I had to drop some t-shirts off to my man. So he met me at the Waw Wa by my

  • 1:35:33

crib naturally. Wawa in the white man. Waw wa in the white neighborhood is

  • 1:35:40

the hangout. Yeah. Talking about nothing but they out of

  • 1:35:46

school. Teenage white kids like 12:30. My young skateboarding and [ __ ] Yo fam. [ __ ] is y'all doing?

  • 1:35:52

Riding bikes. [ __ ] was like that mall. Now the worst is when you go to like a a bar or a club or something like that and

  • 1:35:58

it's a young I don't want to be around these dudes. Yeah, I don't want to be around the youth. These [ __ ] these [ __ ] in they

  • 1:36:03

cies. They be coughing all over the place and be doing I don't want to be around these dirty ass teams using

  • 1:36:08

    ketchup and [ __ ] Yeah, they spill the ketchup all over the place, [ __ ] I don't like that [ __ ] [ __ ] I don't like that too. Like

  • 1:36:15

when I go to get condiments, right, and we

  • 1:36:22

using them. Yeah, about to say we

  • 1:36:28

said it fast. I think we might need the edit button for the first time.

  • 1:36:33

    I don't like

  • 1:36:39

lifestyle [ __ ] You use the old lamb skinin condos. Watch your [ __ ] mouth.

  • 1:36:45

He used the fire. He used the NYC

  • 1:36:52

you [ __ ] little shits that came with the metal like little [ __ ] mouth. Yo, dog. I these kids.

  • 1:37:00

All right. These people and these dirty ass kids, man. They don't they they make a mess all over the place. These

  • 1:37:05

teenagers, I don't know who raised them, but I don't like that, my [ __ ] I like to Yo, I find myself if I use something

  • 1:37:10

to catch or fall or something, I wipe it up in public. You know what I'm saying?

  • 1:37:15

[ __ ] the no adults don't clean the table. Be dirty. [ __ ] you talking about. Yo, you pull up behind somebody, [ __ ] will

  • 1:37:22

just open their window and throw mad [ __ ] on the [ __ ] I was about to get real carried.

  • 1:37:27

I was driving in my neighborhood. You wrote the license plate down. You ran back. Yeah. I was about to take a picture of

  • 1:37:32

it though. They threw a banana pill out the window. They were like in a Porsche SUV. They just threw a banana pill

  • 1:37:38

against the It's organic. I was mad [ __ ] though. I was eat it.

  • 1:37:43

That is not different. That [ __ ] is trifling. No. When you start throwing garbage. Yeah. Like the McDonald's bag.

  • 1:37:48

That's even worse. What What turns you into a car? Everybody got something that I'm not

  • 1:37:54

writing on. I got one. I've been uh on my block in my neighborhood. Parking is

  • 1:37:59

tough. It's New York City. Yeah. There's a couple places that got like the makeshift [ __ ] still in the street. And I think you now have to get like a

  • 1:38:05

different license for that [ __ ] or something. I feel like following up. Make sure they got their license. Yeah. Make sure you got your license.

  • 1:38:12

[ __ ] that. What? No, the [ __ ] dining [ __ ] like in front of like a cafe or something like that.

  • 1:38:18

Outside seating. Yeah, outside seating in the road taking up two parking spots for a place that don't got no business. Oh, I forgot. Get that [ __ ] out of here.

  • 1:38:24

That'll do it. I feel like look up your license. You're going to 100% report themselves. Yo, you might be a kin. Yo,

  • 1:38:31

I'm [ __ ] Yeah, I'm with you. I wouldn't actually report somebody, but the thing that gets me to that makes me want to report is

  • 1:38:37

people who don't clean up after they dogs. Like if there was like a neighborhood council, I would definitely do. Hey, you know, but let me just say something because I'm really against

  • 1:38:44

    snitching. I told a little [ __ ] every snitch say first. No, I don't do usually. I don't.

  • 1:38:49

No, I'm really against snitching. I'm not like y'all [ __ ] But listen, um, there was Yeah. Both of

  • 1:38:55

y'all, both of y'all old [ __ ] that try to relate to each other. Y both telling, [ __ ] who? We nobody [ __ ] yel that try to hang

  • 1:39:03

out with young gangster [ __ ] That's what y'all do. Now, let me tell my story. I like that you're finally admitting that you're one of us. Yes. What you mean?

  • 1:39:10

Five years. We l you old [ __ ] Yeah. You know, well, I'm getting older.

  • 1:39:16

    My birthday is on Tuesday, so Oh, [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] Sneak that in. Oh, I'm not I wouldn't doubt happy birthday.

  • 1:39:25

Call out. No, listen. I don't believe in telling,

  • 1:39:32

but when it was when Why is it a butt? When it was cold outside, this person left their dog on the balcony in like

  • 1:39:38

Oh, yeah. 5° weather. That's good telling. That's good telling. That's good telling. And who you call? I told Jr. to call the police.

  • 1:39:46

The police. You got to call. Who the [ __ ] you going to call? animal control. No, go to the neighbor and say, "Yo,

  • 1:39:53

I tried to go to the neighbor and say that." Number one, I tried to even climb over from one balcony to other to get the the dog had his

  • 1:39:59

record you trying to climb over. The dog had his mouth wrapped cuz the dog makes a lot of noise. So, he had his mouth wrapped in duct tape, I think. And

  • 1:40:05

it was outside. Whatever was on his muzzle, it was tape. It wasn't a muzzle.

  • 1:40:11

A muzzle goes around where you look at. No, I was I was I was I was in I was in

  • 1:40:16

Roseale. I swear to God, I tried to climb over. I tried to even my plan was to take this like a condo or like an

  • 1:40:22

like a condo. Yeah. You couldn't call like I'm saying there's nobody you could call other than law enforcement. Well, it's not a No, it's not a con

  • 1:40:27

management. That's what I'm saying. Is there no management? No, not first of all. It's I don't know how you live.

  • 1:40:33

No, I'm saying fancy. I'm saying it might be fancy [ __ ] that they I figured it'd be like security. No, no, it's not that. Like one of them

  • 1:40:38

streets in Queens and when you ride up it's like one side one is houses on the side like town houses.

  • 1:40:44

I got you. I got you. So, while I was in the house, I I looked over and the dog was there. I'm like, "Damn, it's mad cold outside. Why is the dog there?" And

  • 1:40:51

I didn't I just called You would have been saving the dog, but if you would have did that and got caught, that's a B& E. So, just want you

  • 1:40:56

know, don't climbing over. Yeah. Yeah. You should You shouldn't do that. I would just You did the right thing.

  • 1:41:01

Well, I didn't do it. JR did it. So, you made feeling less of a snitch having your son snitch. Keep your record

  • 1:41:07

clean. I felt a little away about it though. I felt that I should have like I would have preferred to go up there and take

  • 1:41:14

the dog down. You know what I'm saying? Like I felt bad after that when the police came out. That's how you found out the reason why they duct taped it shut.

  • 1:41:21

No, they said that the dog So the police said that they said that the dog mouth got stuck into something and that's why it was like that. But that didn't make

  • 1:41:27

any sense. Somebody put that on the dog's mouth. You know what I mean? To keep it from making a lot of noise because the guy

  • 1:41:32

that lived there told me, "Yo, this dog makes a lot of noise." And you left it on the balcony. You don't want the dogs to be out there crying.

  • 1:41:40

I did feel bad. I'm like to see it because it's black people. I felt like damn, I'm calling on other black people.

  • 1:41:45

You did. You going to put some on black people? I didn't go Jr. did at your instruction line at your

  • 1:41:51

instruction. That's true. Jimmy, what you would have did? That was very Carrie Washington or Carrie. Very James Stewart. Very Jimmy Stewart.

  • 1:41:58

What you would have did in that situation? I I wouldn't have stopped for a dog. I would have noticed it. I'm not saying that's right. I'm even kept I wouldn't I

  • 1:42:05

wouldn't have seen it. But if I did see it, I probably would have tried to contact if I had to call somebody. I would have called animal control. I

  • 1:42:11

wouldn't have called law enforcement. Yeah, that's what but I would probably So animal control. I don't know how those work when you call animal. Do they they come out in

  • 1:42:16

    I don't know. I'm not a rat, so I don't really know the nuances of it. Oh [ __ ] You sorry.

  • 1:42:22

You look like you look like Jerry a little bit, [ __ ] You're not a rapper. You look like Jerry. What you talking about, [ __ ]

  • 1:42:28

    Oh [ __ ] You don't look like

  • 1:42:34

    [Music] Oh [ __ ]

  • 1:42:42

That's funny, son. I don't know what Jerry Yo, that's funny, son. I mean,

  • 1:42:52

    [ __ ] Y'all remember that from Tyler?

  • 1:42:58

No, [ __ ] They do this real amazing episode, Tyler.

  • 1:43:03

Oh [ __ ] you do. All right, leave my man. What about the rest of y'all? What else? You know what you going to do? You going to try to

  • 1:43:09

look? Watch yourself. Good. I'm good. You You got that one. I just let it go. What you say? I said, "What about the rest of you look

  • 1:43:15

like that? What's y'all caring uh moments? What make y'all car?" I talked about my Karen moment before up here. It was It was a a a child that was

  • 1:43:22

just hanging out on the block. No, that's you. [ __ ] you.

  • 1:43:29

I'm not going to lie. Yeah. What's your character? Oh, no. Talking about there was a a a kid, a a young kid hanging out at the

  • 1:43:36

top of my block around my out there like 2:00 in the morning. How old was the kid?

  • 1:43:41

Like maybe like seven, eight. And I was You ain't caring. That's not caring. There was some kids fighting in my back

  • 1:43:47

like on the other side. I got a fence, a wooden fence, and there's some kids fighting on the other side. And I was concerned they might break through my fence. I almost

  • 1:43:54

I didn't, but I almost cracked that fence.

  • 1:44:02

They crack that. You beast Tom. He come with the change of clothes.

  • 1:44:07

I got a couple. I got a couple [ __ ] Wow. What did you end up doing with the seven-year-old that was outside? Like

  • 1:44:13

you just did you just call the police and say, "Hey, that sounds cool." I mean, what did you end up doing? Like,

  • 1:44:18

did you did you No. So, I went and I called the police and I was just like, "Yo, there's a there's a child just hanging out at the

  • 1:44:23

top of the block." And they got there and apparently they No, they lived in the house at the

  • 1:44:29

top of the block. Oh, like lived there. Lived there. They lived there, but they was just outside. I never saw them before. Were the Where were the parents? The parents? I don't know. Did you stay?

  • 1:44:36

Did you stay in with the child or you just stood? No, I just went I went in the house and just looked out the window. He was like,

  • 1:44:41

"My work here is done." I just went I just called and I peeked out the window just to make sure nothing was happening to him. No one was going.

  • 1:44:46

You could tell You could tell it was a It was a young kid by themselves. Like what you want me to do? Yeah. Know if the kid stand outside at 2

  • 1:44:52

in the morning. Yo, you did the right thing, my [ __ ] You did. again. Yeah, I probably wouldn't call it law enforcement, but

  • 1:44:58

you know, this is part this, all jokes aside, this is part of why I talk about abolition is because every problem we've named up here,

  • 1:45:04

somebody going to jail, right? Somebody's going to jail, right? And it's not and the and the only solution we have to the problem is law

  • 1:45:10

enforcement, like social services, right? Animal control. Like there should there's people we could call other than

  • 1:45:16

the police, but we're so trained. But it's 2 in the morning. No, I'm not saying he did anything wrong. I'm just saying. Yo, you know what happens? What? You

  • 1:45:22

know three numbers? Nah. that get emergency response. So instead of you going in the house

  • 1:45:27

looking up ain't no [ __ ] yellow pages. I'm looking for child protective services at 2 in the

  • 1:45:33

morning. If I want an immediate resolution, I don't want this kid to run in the street. I don't want nobody to come get the kid. We know 911.

  • 1:45:40

So you know what they do in a lot of cities? You have 911 and you have 311, right? Just like back in your day with the when you want to get the uh 41 411

  • 1:45:47

you for for phone numbers, right? Cuz people could remember three numbers. Oh, you going to get the yellow pages. So 911 for criminal stuff. 301 for

  • 1:45:53

everything else. I didn't know that. Yeah. Yeah. It's it's in most cities. But but I'm not saying like you should know that. I'm saying like that's the

  • 1:45:58

solution is to give people three numbers that they can call that won't lead to somebody getting locked up cuz nine

  • 1:46:04

times I've I I was in uh I've seen people have mental health breakdowns where you again they needed like the uh

  • 1:46:09

in fact in front of my store some dude would stand in front of my store and do like these karate moves.

  • 1:46:14

It was you had a problem with that? Oh he was well and then he started harassing the customers. Then he started telling me why you just joined him.

  • 1:46:20

Then he said well cuz he he hated me. He started saying he was going to [ __ ] me up.

  • 1:46:25

    [ __ ] ass [ __ ] [ __ ] ass [ __ ] Then one day I came by my in my uh

  • 1:46:30

my fraternity uh shirt on. He was like Keepa Alpha can't fight. Oh [ __ ]

  • 1:46:36

And I was like I was like yo he was making me mad as

  • 1:46:42

[ __ ] but I knew he was crazy too. So you know how to [ __ ] crazy.

  • 1:46:49

I get it. I get it. I get it. I get it. You knew. You know, you knew you leave

  • 1:46:54

    that [ __ ] Let that [ __ ] low, right? Get that extra shrimp on your little [ __ ]

  • 1:47:01

He did it. He start a little step after it, too. You

  • 1:47:07

got You ain't got no hands at all.

  • 1:47:17

You don't got no hands. You Yeah.

  • 1:47:26

Who ain't got no hands? Who ain't got no hands? Oh, that's hilarious.

  • 1:47:32

No, I hated that [ __ ] man. Wow. I left him alone cuz I was like, don't call the police on this dude just

  • 1:47:38

because he's like he needs help. Yeah, he go he going he going to help.

  • 1:47:44

Well, my he said it to the wrong dude in front of my Oh, he got a whole lot of help. They sleep them. Oh man, night night.

  • 1:47:51

But he but then he came back two days later but now he was across the street from my store. So that's how he went all the way crazy.

  • 1:47:57

He got the point cuz now he went in front of the store. Now he was across the street from the store. But he still was still still heckling me every time he saw me.

  • 1:48:02

When he wal past the street a couple times like it was during the pandemic. He never did nothing. I I was fully

  • 1:48:08

prepared to defend myself if I had to. But like I didn't want to fight that dude. Why you didn't just ask him?

  • 1:48:13

He was not well. But you said somebody gave him some act and he got well. He still wasn't well.

  • 1:48:19

He was still across the street heckling with his face swole. But like, but my point is he needed something, right? And

  • 1:48:25

the police weren't the answer. There was a mental there's a mental health service in the city that comes and gets you when you're at that point and they they they

  • 1:48:32

give you medicine. They give you treatment and they find your loved ones to make sure you're okay. Mhm.

  • 1:48:38

And that's what they did for him and then he went away. Can I ask you a question? So, in in the news right now, they're going back to

  • 1:48:43

the uh the young the young lady that stabbed and killed the McDonald's

  • 1:48:48

worker. So, now she's she's brought into court to um decide whether she's mentally fit

  • 1:48:55

to stand trial. Where do you stand with that? Do I I I always lean heavy heavy on the

  • 1:49:00

side of mental health. Heavy heavy on the side of you give these people care and protection and but

  • 1:49:06

also people need to be away from society. Sometimes some people aren't well enough to be society like the dude

  • 1:49:12

the dude that I was talking about that was heckling me like he did ultimately do some violence in the neighborhood to somebody but to an elderly person.

  • 1:49:18

Oh no. You see what I'm saying? That's why also it's like and and I get the other side of that is well he he didn't attack me. He didn't he picked who he was going to

  • 1:49:24

attack which I don't which you know but still like he's once he went across the street that means you got enough sense

  • 1:49:31

to not bring your ass over here no more cuz you going to get some more merry Christmas action. Bro, did you say merry Christmas? Yo dog,

  • 1:49:38

do you have a list of these things? Yo, you knew not. It is summer time. These [ __ ] don't be crazy. Everybody

  • 1:49:44

we chalk up to crazy. They don't be crazy. Well, that's what I'm saying cuz in that situation crazy

  • 1:49:49

like I'm thinking I would want justice for the family. Or you just kill somebody mama. So this my butice that's

  • 1:49:56

that's the question. I look at it like this. I think that every human being has

  • 1:50:03

survival instincts, right? and we and we assess information based on that which is our want and need

  • 1:50:10

to survive. If you go do something and you know the ramifications are X, you

  • 1:50:16

weren't keeping that survival instinct in the forefront of your brain. I think you mentally off like if you evaluate

  • 1:50:22

the consequence and if I go do this the consequences are I'm going away forever

  • 1:50:27

and you still do it. I think it's a mental instability. So here's what's interesting. The guy that I mentioned from the store before

  • 1:50:33

we move on is like I wasn't there when he got beat up. My man called me and said, "Yo, it was weird cuz after all

  • 1:50:38

that heckling, all that [ __ ] talking when dudes started like whooping his ass, he said it was weird. Like he wouldn't even put his hands like he wouldn't even defend himself,

  • 1:50:45

which so so that to your point, but he still came back the next week talking [ __ ] again." So it's like I don't know what his mental illness is, but the

  • 1:50:51

human instinct is still to protect your he protecting his face. You know what I'm saying? So yeah, man. Where's that little [ __ ] at?

  • 1:50:57

Dude drop. Oh no. What's that? Throw a one punch. Wait, you got a homie named One Punch?

  • 1:51:03

Yeah. Yeah, he met him before. I met him. Yeah, he earned it. He looked like it.

  • 1:51:09

I love going places with One Punch. Ain't no problem. Little short stocky [ __ ] Look like he was a professional boxer, too. Yeah,

  • 1:51:15

but they we named him One Punch at High School. Nice. Anyway, cool.

  • 1:51:20

Yeah. I'm not I'm not sure if you guys have uh have heard, but Cam is beefing with Gilly at this point. Well, Cam is beefing with quite a few

  • 1:51:27

people. Oh, yeah. Not Cam. Not Cam. Cam Newton. Yes. Let me make it very clear. Cam Newton.

  • 1:51:32

Why would people beef with him after watching the video of him beating up uh Yeah. Like 17. Yeah. He he went crazy.

  • 1:51:38

But no, Cam Newton had some comments about Jaylen Herz. He pretty much was was very clear that

  • 1:51:44

he doesn't think that he's a top 10 quarterback in the league. Okay. Uh okay. Some people had some push back.

  • 1:51:51

Ryan Clark, a few people. Um and then Gilly, of course, Gilly's a big fan.

  • 1:51:57

Shout out to Gilly. Okay. I see how he got it. my brother. Yeah. Some some comments and we got a

  • 1:52:03

clip here. Look at the stats, bro. Miss me with the hate. That's so easy to say.

  • 1:52:09

    Terrell Ryan

  • 1:52:15

Gilbert. Did you know his album was Philadelphia?

  • 1:52:23

I didn't even know he How many albums did he drop? Four studio albums. Oh, I didn't know

  • 1:52:28

that. I couldn't look up the units that was sold, but that's one of the main reasons why

  • 1:52:33

he's in podcasting though. Oh [ __ ] Oh, you getting a little disrespectful. One of those one of one of his his

  • 1:52:39

albums, ironically enough, was called Million Dollars Worth. Oh, for real. Hello. I'm sorry, Gilly, but

  • 1:52:49

I'm educating people on your career. This was unnecessary. Gilly.

  • 1:52:54

And then Gilly 100%. I mean, He probably didn't like that very much at all. Stop playing with me.

  • 1:53:01

I hate that [ __ ] man. Who went first? Pause. Well, I mean, Cam is just

  • 1:53:07

Cam. Everyone is reacting to Cam statement. Yeah. But no, but it depends on if Cam was

  • 1:53:13

talking from strictly a football perspective and football opinion, then that's his right. And Cam is

  • 1:53:21

like done everything as a quarterback. He he ain't one chunk. Can we hear Cam's statement? the

  • 1:53:26

original win the Super Bowl. I Well, I think we summarized it. I think it's fine. We don't have to put Okay. All right. Yeah. I mean, and I

  • 1:53:32

mean, Gilly's response is like, okay, but he did disrespect is kind of what I

  • 1:53:37

was getting at. That's what I'm saying. What I took it from listening to both Gilly uh interjected with the Okay, but

  • 1:53:45

he won the chit. He got her chit. Okay. Okay. So, why also I think that Cam's okay to shoot

  • 1:53:51

back in this matter. And I think I'll be honest with you, who else better to critique another quarterback

  • 1:53:57

than someone who was actually a pretty damn good quarterback. I don't He was a great quarterback couple years.

  • 1:54:03

Cam was great. Even without the ring, I I don't have an issue with I'm I'm with is I don't have a problem with somebody saying I don't love it, but I

  • 1:54:09

don't have a problem with somebody saying, you know, this person's overrated. This person's not as good. I don't agree with him. I think Jaylen Herz is the [ __ ]

  • 1:54:15

and and you know Jer Herz is good but he's if he wasn't on the Eagles I don't know

  • 1:54:21

that he would be in the conversation period and but that's fair but but but to me overrated means people are saying you're a thing and you're under that thing. I

  • 1:54:27

don't think people say Jaylen Hurst is in the the the Pat Mahomes conversation or I think he's properly rated. I think

  • 1:54:32

he's a great quarterback on an with an excellent offensive line. He's probably a top 10. Where do you think they where do you

  • 1:54:38

think they rank him? I've seen him in some higher up conversations.

  • 1:54:44

I've seen him in some top four, top five conversations as a quarterback. If you and I don't know a lot about football, so I would defer to y'all, but

  • 1:54:50

if you say he's number four or five, but you acknowledge it one, two, and three or a whole tier above him, like like significantly better,

  • 1:54:56

I'm okay with that. Cool. So, you also have to be okay with somebody that played the position of quarterback that can assess the game and

  • 1:55:03

see where your skill sets lie and then uh uh uh uh based on that assessment, give their opinion. There's nothing

  • 1:55:10

wrong with that. Yeah, I'm agree with you. It's like people used to destroy Eggman, right? Like, yo, dog, if I had Michael

  • 1:55:15

Irvin, I had Alvin Harper, I had M. Smith, and I had that O line, people could do what Troy Aman did, allegedly,

  • 1:55:21

right? That's what people say. Some people say that. And so they If Dan Marino said that,

  • 1:55:27

you can't say nothing. Troy Aman got championships. He got something Dan Marino never had.

  • 1:55:33

But can Troy Eggman throw a ball like Dan Marino? No. No. This is a So that's my point. And so

  • 1:55:39

for Cam to say, "Yo, dog, I think he's overrated. He's well within his range. He's overrated. He just said

  • 1:55:45

so he's not top 10. He's just not top 10, which means he's overrated. If they seems like a stretch to me if you're

  • 1:55:51

saying that cuz now you're saying he's basically average at best. No. How many How many teams are in the NFL?

  • 1:55:58

So there's 32 starting quarterbacks and you're saying he's not and you're probably saying he's not in the bottom 10 and he's not in the top 10.

  • 1:56:04

It's even more disrespectful to me. Super Bowl win. It's just like and when we started lining up the stats and uh uh

  • 1:56:11

people started doing it, his stats against some of the people that they consider elite were better at those

  • 1:56:17

games. When he had those one-offs, Gil Gilly started pointing out, yo, yeah, I know he got the Josh Allen. When he went

  • 1:56:22

up against Josh Allen, he bust a horrible thing cuz they're not they're not going

  • 1:56:28

headtohead. They're not going headtohead. It's a it's a team sport. He's going against their defense, not against the other quarterback. ain't

  • 1:56:34

like boxing or I I still do think though it's a slap in the face for someone who just c came off of winning a Super Bowl who put up good

  • 1:56:41

numbers who was a Super Bowl. He's a good quarterback. Like come on. You're a singer, right? And a very good singer. We talk about that later, right?

  • 1:56:47

Um if somebody I can't think of an elite singer right now, but if somebody if if

  • 1:56:52

I'm sorry if somebody had like a bunch of Grammys and a bunch of awards, but but you didn't think they were a particularly good skilled vocal.

  • 1:56:58

You [ __ ] on Shade. Boom. I did not [ __ ] on Shade. You didn't [ __ ] on Shade. Yeah. Cool. Cool. I got Yeah, but sh not

  • 1:57:04

because you didn't you weren't attacking her vocals. I'm talking about skill at this point. If you were to look at a Grammy award winning vocalist and say,

  • 1:57:09

you know what, they ain't got it. Like they I see they're successful, they're good, but they're not an above they're an average vocalist. You don't have

  • 1:57:16

their their Grammys. You don't have their record sales, but you still are qualified to make that assessment. Yes. Would you call that a slap in the face

  • 1:57:22

if you did it right if they won a Grammy? Um, more timing. Yeah. You know, it's it's also timing.

  • 1:57:28

I would call the face. It's also timing. That would be a slap in the face. It also is the intent and

  • 1:57:34

how I'm saying it and what's the purpose for me even saying it. Now, if I'm just making a blanket statement, that could

  • 1:57:40

come off like why? Why? Like, but if I'm on a if I'm on a podcast, I'm asked a question and this and that. Yeah, I'm

  • 1:57:46

here specifically maybe to talk to that. So, months ago, it ain't like I just did

  • 1:57:51

this. You just won and now today I'm literally almost six months ago. Didn't Trent Der won a Super Bowl? Yeah.

  • 1:57:58

Like, yo, people have won a Super Bowl that were average quarterbacks. So what?

  • 1:58:03

Jaylen Herz isn't average. I'm not saying he's Trent Dilford. What I'm saying is when you start looking at

  • 1:58:08

top 10 quarterbacks, that is an objective, subjective conversation. Let me ask a question because I don't

  • 1:58:14

know. I didn't watch the podcast. I only heard the clips. Did anybody actually hear whether he was saying it in in the

  • 1:58:20

rhythm of the conversation? Did it seem necessary to say it or did it feel like extra hate? And you know what? What I

  • 1:58:26

think Cam is discovering too that clips sell. Y'all keep talking about this podcast

  • 1:58:32

space and all of that other [ __ ] Fam moments sell. So now Cam going to say

  • 1:58:38

whatever he said. Guess what's going to happen? Every single sports cast in the land is going to start commenting on

  • 1:58:43

that. Yo, Cam said this, Cam said that. It's going to go to the pivot. It's going to go to these people, these people, these people, these people. Cam

  • 1:58:50

numbers is moving. Yeah. And that's what I don't like about the the exchange with him and Gilly and other people. was not again if you want

  • 1:58:55

to talk football, talk football. Say something controversy, say something wrong. You start being personal, it's a different when it gets personal. I don't like it. So cuz what my understanding was Gilly

  • 1:59:02

was just responding to Herz saying I mean responding to Cam like you didn't do this. Parks, you want to play the game about

  • 1:59:09

you? Good thing Cam knew that. I seen you came at me because I said

  • 1:59:15

Jaylen Hurst did pause that for a minute cuz I there's a beat missing here. That's the part I'm

  • 1:59:21

saying. This Gilly is not the response to Cam criticizing no him. It's so

  • 1:59:27

it's a Gilly middle, right? Cam criticizes Jaylen Herz. J Gilly then says, "Well, Cam, he's

  • 1:59:34

better than you than you're saying he is and he won a championship, which you didn't." Then Cam responded with the

  • 1:59:41

by attacking Gilly's career. And then Gilly responded with this. Yes. Super Bowl.

  • 1:59:46

So you want to get all in your feelings, man? Shut your tight jean wearing ass up, man. Hey

  • 1:59:51

[ __ ] you had on a jersey with a bow tie. You corny ass who never

  • 1:59:56

Get out of here, [ __ ] You will never be able to [ __ ] with Jaylen Herz, [ __ ] You super goofy corny ass [ __ ] Get out

  • 2:00:05

of here, [ __ ] You what you do? You want MVP, win a Super Bowl, and a Super

  • 2:00:10

Bowl MVP. And you hating on him cuz he did what you couldn't do, [ __ ] Win a

  • 2:00:16

Super Bowl. And he been the two of them. So when you hating on him, [ __ ] just

  • 2:00:22

know you wasn't better than him, [ __ ] He's not afraid to use the N word.

  • 2:00:27

Um, I don't think winning the Super Bowl is the determining factor of he's better than you. I don't want to [ __ ] on him.

  • 2:00:33

I ain't really like that. He was MVP. He was 20th in quarterbacks and yards.

  • 2:00:38

Uh, he's 20th. Yeah, the best He had the best running back maybe in history. Cool.

  • 2:00:44

Statistically, so to Cam, and I'm not [ __ ] on him. I'm just saying. So, to Cam's point, if

  • 2:00:50

you gave mad quarterbacks a [ __ ] that's going to guarantee get you, 1500 yards,

  • 2:00:55

um, that's going to make the defense modify how they play defense. Now, I could go out here and pick [ __ ] apart.

  • 2:01:02

All right. So, what about he does he does have he does he's very efficient. He runs uh efficient

  • 2:01:08

quarterback position. He's got a high quarterback rating, high completion percentage, but his yardage is not But they did they did get to the Super

  • 2:01:14

Bowl without Sega finish out. So it's not like he's just Trump

  • 2:01:20

I damn want it if it wasn't I was addressing what they said. Like I'm just saying yo it's it's it's arguable.

  • 2:01:25

So my my issue is it's not blasphemy. It's not blasphemy. My issue isn't the Jaylen Herz part cuz again like we can have our opinions over

  • 2:01:32

who that to me is when Cam got personal with Gilly. Like that to me was the part that seemed unnecessary. I don't like that. But I didn't see what

  • 2:01:38

Gilly said first. I said you didn't make it to the Super Bowl which again you can say is honest assessment of his career. He might have said more.

  • 2:01:43

They did make it to a Super Bowl I thought. Didn't they win one? I'm sorry. You didn't win one. I I I heard that part of

  • 2:01:48

it. I I just didn't hear the initial. So So Gilly didn't get personal with Cam Newton. He just said you didn't win a Super. Some people might take that

  • 2:01:54

personal, but you ain't win one. So why you talking about him? Why you hating D? So now if I create if I flip that around

  • 2:02:01

and say, okay, in your field, you didn't win one. So that's why I'm bringing up

  • 2:02:07

your albums. I think that's fair. But that's not relevant to the conver I feel you, but that's not relevant to the conversation. You not winning one. If if

  • 2:02:14

I'm saying I'm Cam Newton, I'm a better implicitly I'm a better I'm a better quarterback than Jaylen. Well, Jaylen won and you didn't. That to me is a

  • 2:02:20

reasonable counter argument. And you respond with your albums. I don't like your albums. Like to me, that's not relevant. If I'm making a critique, I'm I'm top

  • 2:02:27

    10. Whatever the whatever that critique is. Billy is not a football player. Right. Right. But so now I'm going to bring it to your career.

  • 2:02:33

I get it. That's even more reason to why why are you even I won't say mad cuz

  • 2:02:39

Gilly wasn't mad, but why do you feel the need to have to say anything when the quarterback who played in the league

  • 2:02:44

is on cuz that's his man. But now but now let's switch it around.

  • 2:02:50

Let's just say Gilly is on his podcast critiquing another artist, which he's

  • 2:02:56

allowed to do. And let's just say Cam loves that person's music. And Cam decides to jump in and say, "What what did you do? You

  • 2:03:02

ain't even got a platinum joint. we all be looking at like how dare you even speak on music. No, see to me that would be fair. It's

  • 2:03:07

okay to speak on his music in the music conversation cuz it's in you're judging people and you're not as qualified or

  • 2:03:12

they're better. And then if he were responding, "What about the Super Bowls?" That to me will be out of pocket. You see what I'm saying? Like to me, it's like, is it relevant to the

  • 2:03:19

argument or is it personal? Otherwise, to me, it just feels like people just farming for [ __ ] just going to ride.

  • 2:03:24

    Huh? Yep. There go.

  • 2:03:30

Yep. You got it. Yeah, that's us argument. I think as much Gilly's entertaining as

  • 2:03:36

hell with his response. I don't care what I'm saying no matter what. And also say this right now is a really

  • 2:03:42

hard time if you're a football analyst analysis podcast show. Yeah, it's the last month and a half has been

  • 2:03:50

absolutely nothing going on in football. Now, now we kick. So, let me get my ratings up, say some

  • 2:03:57

[ __ ] that could be debated, and let's start a debate. And after the Shannon joint, it seemed like everybody might be

  • 2:04:02

auditioning for a new spot. I turned what was it was one of I think it was the NFL Network and they had like

  • 2:04:10

does getting married make you a better quarterback was the the headline like

  • 2:04:16

this. Yeah, you might got more

  • 2:04:22

y sex. Flip flip flip over it. Yeah.

  • 2:04:28

    Yeah. Like y [ __ ] and [ __ ] man. A why did you never bet we

  • 2:04:35

wanted to talk about Bob Backlin and iron she like let's go

  • 2:04:41

    Bob back [ __ ] Bob back here's the thing y'all [ __ ] y [ __ ] can beat down the topic [ __ ] all of

  • 2:04:47

    y'all [ __ ] y'all [ __ ] just go and go energize a bunny I hope y'all [ __ ] like this in y'all bedrooms you can't be serious

  • 2:04:53

but who you know how many times [ __ ] be like yo all right wrap that up come yo and you know why be fair and guess why

  • 2:05:00

I don't know why be fair guess why don't know Why would you think I'll do that? I don't know. Cuz we have so much great strong

  • 2:05:06

personalities here and Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Play that. You not You're not even on here. You're not even on here. You're

  • 2:05:12

not even on here. I'm in the background doing this. Yeah. Yeah. I do that. Thank you. Do it a little lower. We had so much great strong

  • 2:05:18

personalities. So sometimes I'm not able to find my position. So when I get a spot, I wait till y'all finish as an

  • 2:05:24

adult and I go in. Well, the topic closed though. Well, flip beats down the topic more than anybody up here. That's what I'm

  • 2:05:30

saying. [ __ ] every you'll come in after a club. What about that party? Someone will say

  • 2:05:36

and you'll be like, "Oh, every every episode." I heard he following. You know, you know, you know what he doing.

  • 2:05:42

I'm learning real time. He got to he got to he got to cater to them [ __ ] Yes, I do do that every episode. You beat that at the same

  • 2:05:48

time. And you betray your friend every episode, [ __ ] Which friend? You betray your friend, Melissa.

  • 2:05:54

You betray her every episode, [ __ ] Watch your [ __ ] mouth. Watch your [ __ ] mouth. You betray her

  • 2:05:59

every episode. You shoot her. That is not true. Likes and clicks. That is not true. She is not my friend.

  • 2:06:04

Ah, that's I'm joking. I'm joking. I was a joke. It was a joke. It was a joke.

  • 2:06:09

Reverse. Reverse. Wasn't me the camera. You know,

  • 2:06:18

sit down, [ __ ] Sit down, [ __ ] All right. Wait. She not here. Wait.

  • 2:06:24

Wait. She's not here. That's not nice. You said evil. Why are you like that man?

  • 2:06:30

I was minding my own business. You jab me. Why? Why are you Why are you like that? Like I want to know that. Like you are

  • 2:06:36

when we talk to you regular. When this come on, you don't talk to me regular. When this come on, you a different man. You It's like you part of some type of

  • 2:06:43

some type of cult. He wasn't listen.

  • 2:06:48

He's like a wizard. He wasn't behind the scenes. He's great. He encourages you. He beats you. He supports you. Yo, I

  • 2:06:55

called him this weekend. Yo, I called him this week. I need something. Hey yo, don't don't purchase it. I got you. But when this [ __ ] come on, he a whole

  • 2:07:01

    different [ __ ] He's outside now. Some scag. He a whole different [ __ ] Take these

  • 2:07:08

to the mail, [ __ ] You got to talk to the phone. You all right? And you come over here. Bye. And I like it. But it's

  • 2:07:14

wrong. It's not wrong. You don't think it's wrong? I think it's wrong if I feel if you're

  • 2:07:20

going to do that, you shouldn't have covered the conversation. That's what I feel. If you saying all that weird, I don't encourage the conversation with

  • 2:07:26

her. Yo, you are a wild boy. I don't encourage the conversation behind the scenes with if if I'm a

  • 2:07:31

shooting her, it's no one coverage in the conversation. So So this is what I say. Two things. One, there's no thing I've ever said

  • 2:07:37

about Mel that I haven't for the most part 95% of the time talk to her about before I'm on air.

  • 2:07:42

I know you would do. So she's she's never surprised by jokes I make. That's not That's not true. Mo, to be fair,

  • 2:07:47

why? Because she told you it wasn't true. Because she said it. She surprised. Oh, Mel said it. It must be true. Okay.

  • 2:07:53

Yeah, I told y'all. That's a good rule though. No, I believe women. I believe women and

  • 2:07:58

I believe women in the work spot in the workplace. Huh? Mel's alive. Whoa. I'm not I'm not going to say that.

  • 2:08:05

Yo, I I'm not going to say that. This is what I want to say. Y'all wow. This what this is what I'm saying cuz I don't want I don't want to belabor this.

  • 2:08:11

What I'm saying is Mel is an expert entertainer and performer. So sometimes what she's doing is performing surprise

  • 2:08:17

    for y'all. [Music] H. You're right.

  • 2:08:23

Shout out to our sister. We love you. We love you. We can't wait till you get back. Some of us are not traitors. We can't wait till you get back. Anyway,

  • 2:08:29

    this [ __ ] is crazy. Yo, to lose your I'm phony. Yes, [ __ ] I don't give a [ __ ] man. I'm performing, [ __ ] I'm performing. I'm

  • 2:08:35

putting on That's a real good loophole. A performing. I heard that four different

  • 2:08:41

times in this last two minutes. Yeah. That's my girl. I love Mel. Love Mel. Shout out to her. Can't wait for her to

  • 2:08:46

come back and I can't wait to watch the movie that she's doing. We were joking before, but I really am looking forward to it. Same. I think this is going to be the best

  • 2:08:52

role of her career. I'm not even being funny. I I think she's getting more time in space. Best role of her career. You know what she's playing? You know

  • 2:08:59

what she what she told me was cuz some of it she didn't want to say yet to put out. So, I don't want to disclose too much. But this is the role with the most

  • 2:09:05

depth. Oh, and why would she tell you? Why she tell you? Because we're actually friends. That's

  • 2:09:11

what I'm saying. Mel is my actual friend. I've been friends with Mel for 15 years. We know. Yeah, we know.

  • 2:09:17

Come to the bed. I'mma fling you around. Yo, this [ __ ] is all right. I don't know. I

  • 2:09:23

don't [ __ ] with nobody. If you don't like this, you probably a hater. Yeah. Uh, by the way, I wanted to ask, no one went to go see Fantastic 4 yet.

  • 2:09:30

No, I didn't. That's usually my Thursday drop. It come out today. Yeah, but for the Dards, it's Thursday.

  • 2:09:36

I go do the Thursday joint. So, you slacking on your pimping? Absolutely. I told you Marvel lost me. I I get there.

  • 2:09:42

I will say this. I was Marvel lost me. They lost me, too. Why? They've been trash for four years.

  • 2:09:50

It's been It's been bad. What's the last good Marvel

  • 2:09:55

shi that was good? That was good. But this the the

  • 2:10:01

fantastic I see what they tried to do and visually it looks amazing like most of

  • 2:10:06

their joints look. But um felt rushed and I I've come to the

  • 2:10:12

decision that if Doomsday is not elite then it's over. officially over. Don't give us no more movies. It's a wrap.

  • 2:10:19

I don't care about the secret war. They gonna keep giving you movies. I mean, of course, but I don't think I don't think we get that same big

  • 2:10:25

blockbuster fil. Yeah. It's It's over. I think Marvel

  • 2:10:32

had success in my opinion. I think they had success with characters that weren't

  • 2:10:38

necessarily the biggest comic book draws like comic book heroes and who Marvel

  • 2:10:44

made heroes out of. They don't necessarily coincide. Like, uh, Black Panther was probably one of their biggest joints.

  • 2:10:50

Black Panther wasn't the smash in the comic books that it was on the screen. So, some of the, uh, the

  • 2:10:56

I think Black Panther was the beginning of the end, but go ahead. Yo, you got to go watch the Cosby's. Yo,

  • 2:11:02

it did sound crazy. I know you ain't mean it that way. No, I don't mean it that way, but you know, you know this [ __ ] sounded. Well, okay, I get it. But

  • 2:11:09

put all them donkeys on the screen. Look at that. That's the end of us. That's the end. American,

  • 2:11:17

right? They they found something that worked though. Like literally, we showed out

  • 2:11:23

for that movie. And then it seemed like that was the beginning of the pandering

  • 2:11:28

and they started pandering everywhere. So that's that was their hit. And now the label keep trying to

  • 2:11:34

make a hit instead of quality album. Instead of Exactly. Instead of focusing on the quality, they started

  • 2:11:40

trying to capture every So they went and got the Spanishes for the part two. They did that. They did the all all

  • 2:11:45

women scenes with the with the Yeah. Yeah. Y'all really started to lean more into

  • 2:11:52

let's please groups instead of let's just make great movies. Yeah, that's a good point.

  • 2:11:57

Well, the I will say this that the the uh character that I wasn't expecting to

  • 2:12:02

like really enjoy out of the film uh Sue

  • 2:12:08

uh what's the what's her name? Sue Bird. Sue. Yeah. Dope actress killed it. Sue Richards.

  • 2:12:14

Bird the basketball guard. I got my Yeah. Uh but no, she did a

  • 2:12:20

great job and she actually to me was the best character in the film. Um Galactis like I would have expected

  • 2:12:28

more out of some big giant earth eating dude. They killed him too easy. Yeah,

  • 2:12:33

they killed him. I mean they not killed him but they told [ __ ] to save it and don't give spoilers on the [ __ ] already.

  • 2:12:38

Hey, listen. I told him, yo, keep me on. We didn't say spoiler alert or nothing. Keep me on Patreon. Um,

  • 2:12:44

yeah. No, it it was it was cool. 6 6.5 if anything. Maybe. That's not horrible. That ain't Listen, for Marvel right now,

  • 2:12:51

6.5 is a 10. But the promotion that they put behind that Yeah. I expected more, but

  • 2:12:57

it's been a lot of made. They better ask for a minute. Yeah. Okay. All right. That was peace. That's peace.

  • 2:13:02

You got it. Yeah, that's peace. What? Any other movies that you watch? You got any other You got any other Marvel questions for us? No, I got

  • 2:13:10

Yo, you know what? I'm supposed to be the next Incredible Hulk. Hey, when they met Incredible Hulk,

  • 2:13:17

he was he a Hulk? It was Bruce Banner. Watch your [ __ ] mouth. You know that. Yeah. You know,

  • 2:13:25

    you know that [ __ ] [ __ ] Mr. McGee. I know a lot of [ __ ] Don't make me angry.

  • 2:13:30

You don't want to see me when I'm in here. Hey, but you like you prepared to do something. Are you prepared to read something? You want to read part of the show?

  • 2:13:36

It was part of the show. It It was here in the management meeting. They sent it to me. So, I wanted to make sure. No, we got it as well. Yeah, I told him

  • 2:13:41

to send it to you. Yeah. Okay. I want you to have it. I want you to know keep everyone involved. What did you have to do to become be a

  • 2:13:47

manager? Um this what do you got to ratings? Yeah. What you got to do? What you got

  • 2:13:53

to do? Well, the numbers didn't uh Oh, you don't see the numbers? No, I see the numbers. What you got to do to get on the intro?

  • 2:13:59

Oh. Oh, you got you got I tell you the Patreon. There you go. Yo, that intro was fire though. Shout out to love the intro. Let's go.

  • 2:14:05

We got a partner. We got a few, right? Uh one of them I was curious about, too. This is from Pito.

  • 2:14:16

Someone made a joke that Ice was short for icicle. I just wanted to know where I got his

  • 2:14:22

nickname from and where ish Antoine got his nickname from and also mouse. Do you guys think

  • 2:14:30

nickname Do you guys think nicknames are forever? Uh or one day will it be time to hang them up?

  • 2:14:36

I like the last one a lot. That's a good question. Yeah, that's really the part I care about. Ice, we know he just was like so dripped

  • 2:14:41

out like is that what it was? Yeah. Nah, I had the best crystal meth on the East Coast. So,

  • 2:14:47

yo, freeze. Watch your [ __ ] mouth. You know, breaking madness.

  • 2:14:54

Why you sticking? Why they call you ice? Huh? What' you say?

  • 2:15:00

No, I just I'm asking what you saying though. We could do it if they move.

  • 2:15:05

Are y'all going to jump them? Yes, they have to. We don't care. We don't care. We can't

  • 2:15:10

a dub is a dub. That's true. Fair ones is only for the homies. That's a co-host. Damn.

  • 2:15:17

I got you. N believe it or not. Um I think it was sophomore year.

  • 2:15:24

I'm going [ __ ] Yo, that should be the response though. You know he in the back. You know he in the back. You know why? Queen. His queen

  • 2:15:32

watching. His queen watching. His queen right there. Front row. That's why he performing different shining different

  • 2:15:37

    facel

  • 2:15:45

when she leave your ass. That's not gel. That's moose.

  • 2:15:55

Freeze. Go ahead. My bad. No. I used to I was going to St. Pat's

  • 2:16:00

St. Patrick's High School. It was uniforms, right? But on dress down days, I only wore iceberg head to toe. So I

  • 2:16:07

just came for that. I'm dead ass [ __ ] I'm dead ass. I like that. I knew it. I knew some

  • 2:16:12

[ __ ] And then it was like, "Oh yeah." So why did you iceberg? So why just didn't call you iceberg? It was at first. Oh. And then you just made a short

  • 2:16:18

version. I didn't make it short. I like that. I didn't make that short. It's better than Berg. There was already a Berg.

  • 2:16:24

That's funny. But that's it. Okay. Is I don't remember. Um, but no, it'll

  • 2:16:31

my name will be I ish forever. Like I ain't it don't matter how old I get. I just When did you become ish? Like

  • 2:16:36

I was like six or seven. When you get when he was Muslim when you get into ish

  • 2:16:42

on a mausoleum just by itself is. No, I got to say ish. Is up there. Did you Did your family start calling

  • 2:16:47

you ish or the streets? Streets. When you were six? Yeah. Like it was a dude. Yeah. Like

  • 2:16:54

somebody from somebody from my neighborhood started calling me ish. Okay. Do you know why? No, [ __ ]

  • 2:17:01

Yo, my family down south don't call me ish. Okay. They call him Twan. What they call you?

  • 2:17:11

Hey, little baby. You got some big 20. Look at little.

  • 2:17:16

You grew to your head. 20. I know how they talk to you. That's what they call. Yo, that's what they call me.

  • 2:17:22

Do you have any other nicknames? [ __ ] what's your nickname? Yeah. Your nickname is Miz. What else?

  • 2:17:28

You told us why they called you. Huh? Oh, that's the goat.

  • 2:17:33

What? You surprised again. Make the same jokes. Yes. I don't remember. That's fair.

  • 2:17:41

What that mean? Uh, student learner. And now you're the teacher. The wire came out and the [ __ ] the wire

  • 2:17:47

came out. [ __ ] wanted to be teacher. Teachers teacher mudas. You went from

  • 2:17:55

Idris to Mudas. Sort of. I rock withd.

  • 2:18:02

You don't got no other nickname? No. Never needed one. Piggity. Dick. Dicks. Dick.

  • 2:18:08

Dick Parks. They never called you Dick. No. Oh, okay. What about What about What about Richie? Huh?

  • 2:18:13

No. Gym teachers would call me rich sometimes. Rich. Gym teachers never get like they never

  • 2:18:18

respect nicknames or anything other than that's what on what's on the paper. They call you parks when you was young. Yeah.

  • 2:18:24

Since birth. Yeah. They only gave me their name. They're like, in case he doesn't like having a weird name, we'll

  • 2:18:30

give him a normal name. So, you parks since birth. Yeah. Oh, that's Pope. That's fire. That's like

  • 2:18:35

y'all. We know why they call you Flip. You told us already. You talking about the Lion Heart.

  • 2:18:40

Oh, I forgot. We got to do that. Yeah, we know that. I meant Flip. They call me Eggy. Random about

  • 2:18:46

Eggy. Excuse me. Cuz you're yellow. Eggy. My sister named me Eggy cuz they said I

  • 2:18:51

have an egg ship hat. Oh, yeah. Take your hat off real quick. Now, just just I ain't call you cuda.

  • 2:18:56

    I can still have yours.

  • 2:19:04

Yo, bro. So, my my my my nieces and nephews, they don't call me by. They call me Uncle Eggy. Oh, that's dope. That's cute for nieces

  • 2:19:11

and the streets don't call you that. No, no. You have a nickname. They to call you that now. Yeah. No, now you're Eggy. You're Eggy.

  • 2:19:17

Uh, no. E. My whole life is Will you be mad if they when they add you on the intro? It says Eggy.

  • 2:19:22

Yes. I ain't going to lie. I'm I'm changing your contact right now to Egg. All right. Do me do I'm going change the helmet, too, [ __ ] That's fine. I don't care. But can you

  • 2:19:28

take your hat off, though? I'm good. All right. We got another one here.

  • 2:19:36

This one's a little dark, but um but it's interesting. Dating. I'm I'm

  • 2:19:42

sorry. This one is from Side Dude Services.

  • 2:19:47

All right. That's peace. All right. Nope. That's peace. Good. Look, no, no questions. Nothing. Yep.

  • 2:19:53

Shout out to you, Side Dude. Just services. Um,

  • 2:19:59

this is dark though. Dating or navigating life with mortality in mind. Oh,

  • 2:20:05

that's what I'm saying. All right. What I'm trying to express is myself.

  • 2:20:11

Uh, I am a terminal person. Oh, man. Right. Damn. And because I know my life

  • 2:20:18

isn't promised, I date as if I'm not going to be here. I think this is

  • 2:20:23

equivalent to people that live in dangerous neighborhoods. Not quite. It's not.

  • 2:20:29

No, not quite. Um, they navigate as if they might pass in their 20s cuz it's often

  • 2:20:35

I see what he's doing, but it's still not. You live in that hood lifestyle. No, I'm from Baltimore, so I understand

  • 2:20:41

if someone acts like that in the streets. date seriously even though I even though I don't expect to grow old

  • 2:20:47

with someone. I'm trying to work through the I'm editing as I'm reading to make it clear, but basically they're saying like, you know, sort of there's no real

  • 2:20:54

question here as much as it is you're like, how do you what do you do when you're dating knowing you're going to

  • 2:20:59

die? Does that change does that change how they should date? Should they tell people? Should they date people? Should they like what do you do?

  • 2:21:06

Cuz it's not like you're dating someone, you find out they're dying. It's like you go on your first date and it's like you have any siblings? Well, yeah. and

  • 2:21:13

cancer. Right. Right. Yeah. I don't know. It's tough.

  • 2:21:19

Um yo, could we go to the next one? This is some [ __ ]

  • 2:21:24

    [ __ ] I think it's interesting. I think it's interesting. I mean, to answer his question, I I guess. [ __ ] I would be Well, the Well,

  • 2:21:31

he says he's dating. How is he dating? That's what I want to know. Like how And that's what they didn't say. I would need to know that part.

  • 2:21:37

Yeah. I feel like I would do one of two things or maybe both really cuz I mean I'm still communicating though. that I

  • 2:21:43

would date as if well I would I would probably be one night standing and not saying [ __ ] and then if there's someone

  • 2:21:48

that like you actually might legitimately like I would be for but if you not if you're intention you

  • 2:21:54

going in just one night standing getting in and out and I'm not even saying nothing how you even bump into oh should I like you

  • 2:22:00

cuz that stand might be standing bad or maybe you see some uh uh

  • 2:22:07

caretaking uh personality traits in in that person I would ask more questions depends on what

  • 2:22:12

I've what I've experienced before as far as dating. If I've been in love before,

  • 2:22:18

I'm not, you know, in such a rush to maybe feel that again. So, I'm just going to end my days out

  • 2:22:24

and just slang and bang as much as I can. And if it's the other way around, I might want to before I go out, I might

  • 2:22:30

want to actually feel like I've had that connection with somebody before I go out. So, I'm definitely going to lead with, hey, before on the first date, I'm

  • 2:22:37

going to tell you, listen, this is my situation. Uh, and lead from there. Let Let me flip it. Would you ever date

  • 2:22:42

someone that was terminal? I have sort of. Oh, have you? Yeah. You knew it going in?

  • 2:22:48

She told me she was terminal going in? Yeah. Really? Oh, like second date. Yeah. Yeah. Well,

  • 2:22:53

second date. I I I don't outside of age, distance, and stuff. I don't have a barrier of

  • 2:23:00

Oh, we know. Meaning that I don't want to date someone young. That's what I mean. Oh, I thought

  • 2:23:05

    Yeah. Peace. He's wide. Yeah. Peace. Yeah. No, I I I don't I don't I don't have any like

  • 2:23:11

I don't think I could be in a serious relationship with them. I could I could kick it. You know what I'm saying? Like you could

  • 2:23:19

you could be my You know what I mean? But I don't know. Wait, what's this? Like a like a like like you could be my real solid good

  • 2:23:25

friend. Like a real good friend, but not like a sex partner. Oh, no. He'll still be

  • 2:23:31

I'm just saying so generous of you. I failed to see the No, I would you I would I couldn't be in

  • 2:23:37

a real relationship with you knowing that you were terminish.

  • 2:23:42

Yeah. Someone on their way out, wouldn't you want to be able to provide them with something genuine on their way out? The person [ __ ]

  • 2:23:48

No. No. Because because now if I know Oh, go ahead. So you No, because you opening up your door to be

  • 2:23:54

drastically drastically drastically hurt. For sure. But you would too if you became their best friend.

  • 2:24:00

Became this. Yeah. You going to be talking to him every night, not hours. You don't be You don't believe in that that saying it's better to have love

  • 2:24:07

than I've loved before. Oh, that's peace. And I've lost all them doors.

  • 2:24:14

    What would you do? I wouldn't date I I wouldn't I wouldn't I think that dating somebody while I

  • 2:24:20

understand what he's saying that he he's just dating like like wild while dating.

  • 2:24:27

I get it. And I respect it cuz I I felt like if he was date with the intentions of being serious while being terminally

  • 2:24:32

ill, that would be selfish. Selfish as [ __ ] Yeah. It's emotional dependency that comes into play.

  • 2:24:38

It's it's it's so many things that play a words. But it

  • 2:24:46

so many things that play a factor into this that I just think that like however he's

  • 2:24:51

dating, I think that he should just I think he should honestly just Should you should you even date?

  • 2:24:56

Yeah. Yeah, I think you should just date like on What if you date a woman and she likes you and we conflating dating?

  • 2:25:02

What if y'all start getting serious and she want kids? Like now you got all kind of other conversations. But but it shut

  • 2:25:12

they not the same thing. That's why I think Flip's point is really important about emotional dependency. I think you have to date in a way

  • 2:25:17

that doesn't create that. So if it's slanging and banging, as you said, if it's if it's saying, "Look, I'm only

  • 2:25:23

like I'm going to keep you at bay. I [ __ ] with you." But don't be selfish. If you selfish messed up to deni not to deny someone

  • 2:25:29

but for to think that someone should not be allowed to experience that level of love with someone on their

  • 2:25:36

way out like you like you are you with that you with that it's first of

  • 2:25:42

all you have to go into that with transparency so are you being transparent with the person I would tell yeah I would tell them cuz if you're not transparent it it

  • 2:25:48

would I still think that for you it would it would cause an emotional imbalance like it cuz like

  • 2:25:55

if If you're not transparent and the person becomes involved and then they put their all in it cuz you know there

  • 2:26:01

is love at first sight, right? You know we're not going to be together for the next 20 years, but you know we're not going to be together. You now you you created

  • 2:26:07

something. You know what I mean? So trans you have to go in if you're transparent from the jump. Me

  • 2:26:12

I would say from day one, hey this is what's going on. And I would allow them the option to decide whether they want

  • 2:26:18

to continue moving forward. But I don't think it's selfish of the person to still want that type of love.

  • 2:26:23

I agree. and also want to find someone who can give them that type of love no matter what. Like I would maybe in the

  • 2:26:30

in the person's brain they'd be able to handle I would rather spend 5 years of loving this person instead of not ever

  • 2:26:36

experiencing it with man. If I was the problem is if you don't know whether you got three months or three I mean that's where it gets tricky like where

  • 2:26:41

you don't know. If I was terminally ill I'm I'm I'm paying for I'm paying for the service. No women women keep talking about sex.

  • 2:26:49

I'm talking about feeling love. That's what I'm talking I'm paying for that. That's what I'm talking for. No, I'm talking about friendship.

  • 2:26:54

He said he would I give a flip side. He's saying he would only focus on the sex because it's selfish to focus to try and create bond with somebody.

  • 2:27:00

That's what I would focus on. And on and on top of that, [ __ ] there's a lot of girls. Go to stallless, [ __ ] Tell Ask

  • 2:27:07

them I give you this. They'll sit with you for a couple of weeks. Can I can I can I You shaking your hand.

  • 2:27:12

No, he's not wrong. It might not be what you want, though. Have any of y'all ever have any of y'all ever had to live in a moment where you

  • 2:27:19

had to actually face your own mortality? Yeah. Mhm. So, I'm I'm just transparent. When

  • 2:27:26

you're faced with that and you're living in that moment, while all those other things might seem important, the last

  • 2:27:31

thing on the top of the list is you busting up. It's coochie. Like, I'm be

  • 2:27:37

making about I'm saying you could you can pay for companionship, but it's not genuine. Yeah, it's different.

  • 2:27:43

Are you thinking about being are you thinking about being somebody being genuine with you, but you about to die when you turn the most time? I get what

  • 2:27:49

you're saying. That's the most time I want to be around people. But now this man right here, he's not asking for that. He's saying that he's

  • 2:27:55

about He asked us as far as ourselves. So I don't want to be around no fake

  • 2:28:00

people that's only there because I'm giving them money. I want to be around [ __ ] that really know me, genuinely love me and care about me.

  • 2:28:07

But if they knew you and cared about me, they would have been there from the jump. You can't they would have been there from the jump. Yeah, that's but he's talking about But this

  • 2:28:13

situation is talking about dating and naturally it's going to be with new people that you build with nobody there.

  • 2:28:19

How do you No, there's nobody there in respects of him having a companion. He might have

  • 2:28:24

family, he might have that. But when you get a when you get when you get to the thought of, yo, I'm about to be on my deathbed and you start to think about

  • 2:28:30

who's going to be in that room with me, you would like to think that there will be someone there outside of your family who actually just loved you for

  • 2:28:37

you in that respect. And shout out to anybody that's going through this. That's right. On either side, you know what I'm saying?

  • 2:28:42

I got two more. Uh, okay. One one I think is I'm I'm saving the one I think is Let me just read this one first.

  • 2:28:49

Okay. Um, you typically hear that women marry or date their dads. Do men have that same experience?

  • 2:28:56

Do y'all feel like the women y'all date are like your moms? And if you have, did it help you understand your mother more as a woman and not just as your mom?

  • 2:29:03

Yeah, that's a good question. Uh, to some degree, my mom and wife are both Tauruses. So, I guess there's some

  • 2:29:08

What does that mean? Say more about that. Uh, why is your wife a Taurus? No, no, no. I was curious. Oh, just some personality traits. I

  • 2:29:15

think um trying to line him up.

  • 2:29:20

Stubbornness. For sure. Okay. For sure. Okay. But I don't see I mean

  • 2:29:28

    Yeah. Love clear up.

  • 2:29:34

They do. They ride for sure. They ride for sure. And they stubborn as [ __ ] Um I guess I Yeah, I could see why that

  • 2:29:41

would happen. Clean it up, boy. But if No, I'm talking about the back to the original point. Okay. Why you might find someone that has some

  • 2:29:47

elements of someone that you love dearly as a as a partner? For sure. I could see that. But my question would be that if

  • 2:29:54

women date their fathers, wouldn't that be we're dating our daughters? That's

  • 2:30:00

weird. It It doesn't I don't think it works. It's not a reciprocal thing. Got it.

  • 2:30:05

No, cuz it's what they see in us. It's not We don't see that same thing in them. Hopefully not. You know what I mean? The girls I know

  • 2:30:11

that grew up with their dads that have a good relationship with their dads, they don't call you back, fam. They be like, "Yo, dog, I want my

  • 2:30:18

dad." Right. They know that [ __ ] Like, yo, I saw I saw what a man is like. I want a man that

  • 2:30:24

resembles my father. Those girls are annoying. That's not always That's not always true. Cuz a lot of the dads, even though

  • 2:30:30

they were there for their daughters, sometimes they still be creep [ __ ] I said that had a good relationship with their dad. You can still have a good relationship

  • 2:30:36

with your dad and your dad still just be out in the street doing his own [ __ ] Yeah, but that don't mean he wasn't a good dude.

  • 2:30:41

Yeah, she might not even see him. It's where she seen him is the question always. She can still see him as a good dude,

  • 2:30:46

but can also recognize the [ __ ] that comes with men. So, a lot of it can it can be either way. Like I know for for

  • 2:30:53

most people that I've heard talk about having a resemblance of their mom and their spouse. It's not always been

  • 2:30:59

positive. It's been like negative. Like they lean on the woman to kind of take place of the mother in negative ways.

  • 2:31:07

And and do y'all see your moms? Is it Have you grown to be able to see your moms as women now, not just as your

  • 2:31:13

mom's? Hell yeah. Yeah, for sure. Absolutely. Yeah. I've heard I've heard you talk about that before. Yeah. Yeah. Cuz that's cuz that that

  • 2:31:19

stems not even from my relationships. That just stems from my relationship with my mom. Like the conversations we have and the things that now that I'm

  • 2:31:25

older I could understand a little bit more. Like I might not have really knew what was going on. But now that I'm older and

  • 2:31:32

been in my own [ __ ] oh, and then when me and her get to kicking it, it's like Now she's talking

  • 2:31:37

to me as an adult as instead of just your son. Yeah. And I I didn't my my mom and I don't have that relationship just

  • 2:31:43

because they're old school. Yeah. Old and southern and they don't talk about anything. And I remember one day like maybe like

  • 2:31:49

four or five years ago my um my mom was I was asking about the the age gap. Like

  • 2:31:54

my brother is 2 years older than me and then my older brother is nine years older than me. So there's like a sevenyear age gap between them. And I

  • 2:32:00

was like why is there such a big age gap? She was like, "Well, after after Leonard, we didn't think we could have more kids."

  • 2:32:07

Then I was like, "Wait, so y'all was just I I was in my brain. I was like, "Y'all just [ __ ] then?" And the idea

  • 2:32:13

of my mom just having sex for joy or pleasure or just [ __ ] was like and she started blushing and smiling. She like left the room cuz And I didn't say

  • 2:32:19

that to her, but she couldn't read my face. And it was like it was at that moment that I realized that my mom just had sex like everybody else.

  • 2:32:24

Oh, I never thought about it before. [ __ ] I seen mom, man. Wait, seen what?

  • 2:32:29

You seen what? I we we were younger and like what the [ __ ] And saw something we weren't supposed to see. Yeah.

  • 2:32:34

Oh, they're wrestling. Day one wrestling and he's winning. Day one wrestling. Walked in and saw

  • 2:32:40

something we weren't supposed to see. All right. On that note, let's move to a different gig. This is from Gig Guys LLC. Pizza

  • 2:32:47

and Donuts. All right. Shout out to you. Thank you for this. Um, sorry ladies. I

  • 2:32:52

did a dumb thing. Oh, no. I met a girl at my gym in Atlanta.

  • 2:32:58

Oh, really? He says her name. It's not that matters. Keep going.

  • 2:33:04

No, no, no. Wherever. Uh, curvy. Pretty face, pretty smile. Sure.

  • 2:33:09

I asked her to be my wintertime bae. Halloween to Valentine's Day.

  • 2:33:15

Okay. Interesting. That's good. She said, "No, you're not going to be uh [ __ ] me all

  • 2:33:23

winter and then drop me in spring." Oh. I accepted that. A month later, she hit

  • 2:33:28

me back and she had changed her mind and agreed to the scenario. So, Halloween, we lit. Dropped on her head.

  • 2:33:34

Thanksgiving, we lit. Matching outfit, pictures, dinner with fam, everything. Then we go to Christmas.

  • 2:33:40

Wait, wait, hold up. This is He want to be like I thought it was just going to be some stuff. Go ahead. He said bae. He said bae.

  • 2:33:47

He said get the Christmas tree. Christmas tree farm. Pick out a tree together. Take more pictures. Christmas

  • 2:33:53

lady gift exchanges. We working out together. I meet her parents. She meet my You doing a lot for something. You

  • 2:33:58

playing moving away from Valentine's Day. We top it off. Hotel suite. I got the flowers.

  • 2:34:05

I want to chocolate. We hit the gun range and then get a couple m a couple's massage. Del

  • 2:34:12

Frisco's for dinner. Happy endings. Superb 4 month run. He said superb

  • 2:34:17

fourmon run. It came to the end. Alexis was hurt,

  • 2:34:23

depressed, devastated. I was giving boyfriend future husband vibes

  • 2:34:29

and this is just like the terminal dating question. So it really is and I'm an Aries so I'm

  • 2:34:35

a pleaser. A sure but at the time I was in the streets

  • 2:34:42

didn't finish college but making money with a plan. Could not commit to full-blown relationship at the time because I was unstable in life and in my

  • 2:34:49

career path. We hung out a lot still afterwards and we're feeling each other.

  • 2:34:54

But I've made clear on several occasions we not together. So I guess the question

  • 2:35:00

or topic is in a controlled environment or time window I'm the best listener, attentive, uh sexual partner, I'm a

  • 2:35:07

giver, I'm an encourager. Do I love birds because that's the final question. Do I love birds? Because I knew there

  • 2:35:14

was a finish line. Or can I channel that into a long-term healthy relationship

  • 2:35:20

now that I'm in a legitimate financial space? It sounds like you just don't try to make it last, which is a strange choice.

  • 2:35:26

This [ __ ] got commitment issues, man. Well, then I think that he should find the terminal people dating app

  • 2:35:33

and run the numbers up. Hook him up. Holy [ __ ] Yeah, this nigga's trolling us. He trolling.

  • 2:35:39

He got He trolling us. He's love bombing. He know he love bombing. He's enjoying. Yeah, it's a game. But does it change? Is it less love by

  • 2:35:45

me if you tell the person ahead of time? Look, we got four. How's he love? Because because because we all know you

  • 2:35:51

can tell somebody something at the beginning and make them feel something. Once you meet the mama, bro, we meeting the parents.

  • 2:35:59

All due respect, brother, like if you if you know I feel bad cuz I'm agreeing with Cory.

  • 2:36:04

I told you what that mean. But fam, he clearly laid out what my objective. laid it out while giving you

  • 2:36:11

extra time. You need finish. That's wrong. He didn't set parameters

  • 2:36:16

and say we only [ __ ] He said, "Yo, you going to be my wintertime bae from October to February. We in this." She

  • 2:36:23

said no. First, then she came back and signed up. So, dog, I ain't said, "Yo, are you only

  • 2:36:29

coming over my house at 2:00 in the morning and I'm smashing you?" Yo, dog, it's two people to enter into this

  • 2:36:36

particular thing. Do you not feel that this should be some stipulations if you put the word if you have that if you make that type of deal?

  • 2:36:42

I think you should just between them between those two people. Y'all got to decide what you lead the person on is

  • 2:36:47

you should give stipulate. Hey yo, you you going to be my winner. Make me agree with you. The word No, the word bae.

  • 2:36:53

Is that like the worst thing that could happen? Okay. What? What does the word bae mean to you guys? Fam if me and your mother view my bae.

  • 2:37:00

See bae do mean like girlfriend. Bae mean girlfriend. Damn near. Yeah. But you [ __ ] I still feel like

  • 2:37:07

that's too much. You're not meeting the girl's mother if if if if if you on some [ __ ] right?

  • 2:37:12

Not at all. But he is. He No, that's not true. He is on He's on [ __ ] He's not

  • 2:37:19

saying he's on [ __ ] I'm with you. He knows like everyone else up here

  • 2:37:25

knows. You can set all those parameters. You can say all that [ __ ] in the beginning, but you do know when dealing

  • 2:37:31

with women or anybody else, they're not going to go ahead and stick by that. Man, let's tell the truth. The way you act, let's tell the truth.

  • 2:37:38

You act with people and make them change and forget all that you said. Tell the truth. Tell the truth.

  • 2:37:44

Want to tell what's the truth, Freeze? He's looking for He keeping his way out. That's all he's doing. Cool. I'm doing all this [ __ ] I'm rocking

  • 2:37:51

with all of this, but I'm doing on some almost sucker [ __ ] to where I could lead you down this path and then when I'm

  • 2:37:56

out, I'm out. Yo, fam. Sucker [ __ ] is I'm going to lead you down this path. Unbeknownst to you, you you going down a

  • 2:38:04

path. He told her from day one. It's like when a girl say, "Yo, I'm dating, but I'm not looking for nothing

  • 2:38:09

serious." And then the dude catch feelings and start being a [ __ ] stalker. Dog, I told you I didn't want

  • 2:38:14

nothing serious. Cuz she was at my [ __ ] house every [ __ ] day cooking and [ __ ] feeding my kids, making my bed up, doing mad

  • 2:38:21

    [ __ ] bathing me, doing mad [ __ ] A girlfriend should do. Yo, who's so listen?

  • 2:38:28

I told you from day one I'm not looking for nothing serious. So you should act like you're not

  • 2:38:33

looking for something. How is that act? Act is not meeting your not your parents.

  • 2:38:40

I bet you I bet you that mom wouldn't want to I bet you that mom wouldn't want to meet him if she knew you only dating

  • 2:38:45

my daughter for 5 months. Exactly. Wearing matching outfits and all this other stupid [ __ ] Come on. You got to

  • 2:38:52

also take acknowledgement that no matter if you said that people also have the right to change their feelings on what

  • 2:38:57

they agree to. True. I'm not that part now that's separate conversation

  • 2:39:03

behavior communicates that you changed your mind. But I think this I think that

  • 2:39:08

in a relationship you might meet a girl and say yo I'm not I just want to pop.

  • 2:39:14

Mhm. Along the lines of you popping you start to like the girl. Your agenda has

  • 2:39:19

changed. So now you start moving different. You human, we human, fam. Homeboy, set the record straight

  • 2:39:26

from day one. This did not set the record straight. Just saying.

  • 2:39:31

Just saying, "Yo, you going to be my winter time boo or winter time bae?" Excuse me. Excuse me. Yeah. From this

  • 2:39:37

date to this date is not setting the record straight. It's not saying It's just saying, "Yo, we going to be

  • 2:39:42

together from here to here." It's not We're doing I mean, if if two people agree to it,

  • 2:39:48

I'm not mad at that. Sure. I in the midst of them weeks, in the weeks of them months, you sit there and you

  • 2:39:53

start behaving in a way that's kind of saying, "Hey, we doing something real here now." [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] try to lean on that

  • 2:39:59

I said what I said in the beginning to strip away responsibility so you can have the so that you can so that you can

  • 2:40:08

put a gender thing on this. Let's say homeboy fell head over heels and shorty said, "You know what? Name

  • 2:40:14

you say the same for her. You told me that this is this. I'm playing in our parameters." No, I'm seeing other people. I'm moving how I'm

  • 2:40:20

moving. To me, I I feel you. But you you said something important, which is that people have a right to change their mind. Thousand%.

  • 2:40:26

I think the issue here is some of that behavior communicates to the average person that you change my mind.

  • 2:40:32

Especially like meeting your parents to me is big. Hold on. It's not big to everybody.

  • 2:40:37

Especially if along the way you're not reminding this person. It's some [ __ ] that bring every girl home and meet their mother. Right.

  • 2:40:42

That's true. I know. I know a couple other. That's cool. You also still are

  • 2:40:48

supposed to be at least obligated to continuously remind this even if your actions is doing what your actions are.

  • 2:40:54

You should be reminding them, hey, you know, this is going to best just be this. He said in this, I'm letting her know we

  • 2:41:01

not together at the end of the term. He said he said no, he's saying throughout the duration of them dating, he keeps reminding

  • 2:41:07

Shorty like, "Yo, we didn't." I think he said at the beginning and at the end. I don't know if he I mean if I misread it I mean I may be

  • 2:41:13

misremembering but I thought what he said at the beginning and and at the end which to your point should be enough. I

  • 2:41:18

don't have a problem with that. My thing is the behavior's got to match. Yo, we're feeling each other but I made

  • 2:41:24

it clear on several occasions that we are not together and clear. Okay, that's fair. That's fair. I forgot

  • 2:41:31

that part. That's fair. I still I still think the behavior should match, but he's I I just think it's unhealthy. But

  • 2:41:36

your point's well taken to me. Totally. If you if you if you see the other person is not grasping that and you see the other person clearly is liking you

  • 2:41:43

more than what you intended, then you still have some responsibility to remove yourself and not take advantage of the person. You obviously like love bombing.

  • 2:41:50

You obviously like the I don't know if I call it love bombing. It's love bombing. It's not lovebombing. Yes, it's love

  • 2:41:56

bombing because you just simply title it. We just going to [ __ ] around. You don't have to put the you're my bae. I'm going to come on. Yo, love bombing means

  • 2:42:03

that I'm going to purposely lead you on and then disappear. That's what he's pretty much trying to do.

  • 2:42:09

No, he's not, Imani. And even at the end of the relationship, he still said that they still cool and they still hang out for

  • 2:42:14

she still wants to be with him because she's in love with this [ __ ] by now. Which is makes it this is what makes it. Yo, love bombing from my my

  • 2:42:21

understanding of what it is. Yeah, we what I heard is yo, I know automatically I don't want nothing to do with you.

  • 2:42:27

I'mma lead you on. I'm going sell you a dream and then I'm out. Let me ask you one more question before we go. If

  • 2:42:33

if he knew the outcome would be this, should he knowing that she'd be depressed and upset and feel like this,

  • 2:42:39

would he be wrong for still doing it if he knew this would be the outcome? Yes. Okay. Then then for me it's about and I

  • 2:42:44

agree with you. For me, then it's about maybe moving forward, monitoring our behaviors a little bit

  • 2:42:50

to know that even if I'm in the clear legally, right, cuz I said it multiple times, I said it here and there to know that sometimes I morally

  • 2:42:56

most human beings interpret certain behaviors a certain way and can't help it. And so I would just say like I've

  • 2:43:01

been given start and end dates but I've certainly said this ain't going to be a

  • 2:43:06

thing. But then I do [ __ ] that I know everybody interprets as a thing and always have as the out. I told you.

  • 2:43:12

But let me ask you this. Definitely. So let me ask you this, right? And I'm not disagreeing with you.

  • 2:43:17

I'm giving you a different perspective. Sometimes you might just buy flowers cuz

  • 2:43:22

that's who you are. Mhm. The average dude don't buy flowers. So, like I said, it's some dudes that

  • 2:43:29

take girls home to meet their mother. Every girl knows their mother, right? Some girls might lead into that more

  • 2:43:35

than what that dude brought it on. I was her mother. That's the part I thought was was even if that's the type of person you

  • 2:43:41

are and you know that can still read wrong to that person. Shouldn't you also take responsibility to suppress that so

  • 2:43:47

that you're not giving them the wrong idea? I'm just not gonna be a nice guy. I'm not gonna buy a girl flowers.

  • 2:43:52

where meaning we're we're social beings and meaning is constructed socially like like if some people just like to drop to their knee, right? But if I if I in the

  • 2:43:59

restaurant I dropped my ID, my girls going to think I'm about to propose. If I say that's just what I do, like it would look crazy, right? Like let me let me give you and we can wrap

  • 2:44:04

this up right here. You got the last word. Some dudes take girls on vacations as a

  • 2:44:10

first date, right? Yeah. Before you leave them there, everybody knows, right?

  • 2:44:17

I'm about to explain the societal norm is not that. Yeah. So we said societal norms dictate

  • 2:44:23

how you are viewing this particular situation. It's dudes that take girls like, "Yo, what you doing? You want to

  • 2:44:29

go to Bahamas this weekend? [ __ ] I just met you." In my opinion, I'm not going nowhere where I'm isolated with an

  • 2:44:35

individual for 4 days. I don't know like that. Then I don't really know like that because I don't know what your behaviors

  • 2:44:40

are. I don't know none of that. Right. Cool. For some people, that's their go-to. So now,

  • 2:44:47

is he wrong for that being his go-to? because that's not the societal norm. You you you added an extra a different

  • 2:44:53

element. You added first date which is something different when he you created a pattern. He created he started to

  • 2:45:00

create a pattern with the person. No, I flowers I bought up taking people to see your mom and y'all and Mark said

  • 2:45:06

that that's not a societal norm. So I went to the vacation because that's not a societal. I would say the same thing. I would say

  • 2:45:11

whatever you do that's different than how most people understand something, you need to at least be aware of that and have a communication. Have a read how it reads to somebody.

  • 2:45:18

That's all I'm saying. How do how you know how it read other people is ultimately what it is. But I agree.

  • 2:45:23

Flip. Can we go home? Yeah. Why? Why? First of all, what

  • 2:45:28

trick? What? You got a lot of trickery with you. What's the trick? The trick is like you act. The ghost of Joe is haunting us and I

  • 2:45:33

think it's making us stay here longer. I think we did this. Well, what if I say no? We shouldn't go home. Then we going to stay home.

  • 2:45:38

We sit here. We your show. We going to sit here. Flipper. Flip a boss. You know this this what

  • 2:45:45

bullies did to kids when they g them to go to the to go fight the other kids. You would know. Yeah. Yeah. Watch your

  • 2:45:51

heard. Yeah. This the squad, y'all. This right here. Squad right here. That

  • 2:45:57

is not the squad. One more person. Just male. No, this is true. No, just male. One more person. No, not male. Not that

  • 2:46:04

not a new make audio. I'm joking. Sorry.
