I went away. You did? Mhm. I went away. Full family. Went to Turks for a family vacation.

Beautiful. Me, my baby, her kids, my kids, and my

only sister. That's fire. Wow. This is I love The word vacation is throwing me off when you say all those people.

A lot of kids. Where's the vacation? Now, I agreed to this trip. I guess kind

of with co-parent privilege, right? Like I co-parent from my crib like over the

phone, FaceTime, some text. Hey yo, [ __ ] what I say? Yo. Yeah. Like, hey,

DMs, right? That ain't the same. Couple days a week. You know what I mean? These [ __ ]

So, let me start with a family vacation and a vacation are not the same at all.

Not at all. Yeah. Two totally different things. So now this is the second time that I took my ass out in the country on a

private jet and came back and needed a vacation. I need a vacation. I bet. Yeah. I start I start with that.

That's Yeah, that makes sense. But for a family vacation, we had a blast. Uh we had a good time.

Come to find out, all of these little [ __ ] have their own minds,

agendas, personalities, and feelings, and don't really care.

They all broke. And they don't really care about what's

right, wrong, logical, not they don't really care about nothing else outside of their

of them. Yes. Yeah. So, long story, long as hell.

So, I got a jet. Classy. Repeat that because I'm an introvert and

that's a reason. Let's create core memories. A rich introvert. Let's create core memories. My dad

couldn't do it. Sure. Let me do it. Okay. The whole house wake up late. These [ __ ] spend a night. They spend night

in my crib. So now the whole house wake up late. But it's cool cuz I'm surprising them with the jet. M

they don't know. But I also did buy regular airport tickets that we just now got credit on.

Okay. Okay. That's some real rich [ __ ] right there. That's a different type of rich. Fake fake airline tickets you really pay for.

I got I got the airline tickets at a good reasonable price. But as more kids

kept getting added to the trip, I was like, you know what? Let's just do it. See, that's when I'd have been sitting there using the fake whatever reason I

can to get the insurance to get the money back. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. These little kids woke up

grumpy as hell, late, twirly for all that.

Skipped the airport, walk right through the little Teter Burrow joint onto a

plane and two of them had attitude about it.

[ __ ] when I tell you my little sister and my baby's youngest daughter was

sitting there petrified, saying, "Oh my god, get me off of this contraption." My little sister knows

some stats. Don't you know that private jets are way more way more dangerous than a regular airplane? I don't know

how we're getting back, but I'll swim back. I'll walk back. Whatever I do back, I'm never taking this thing again. This little tiny plane like

I can see how they would be uh thrown off. Mhm. Cool. But that

that led me right into See, my entire story is just full of

dynamics. Got it. Got it. This dynamic is when two 10year-old

girls get together and and meet for the first time and like each other. Oh boy.

Mhm. Now I'm dealing with a 10year-old and an 11year-old click. And my little sister

keep doing some [ __ ] like this. Clock that T. Clock that T. Clock this. hot

that I'm like, "Yo, who the [ __ ] are you? Yo, I come up here and joke that we old,

but you're not really going to feel old until you get around 10 year old, 12,

14." I know. Clock some tea again and see what I do to your little [ __ ] fingers.

Watch what happened. Cool. We get there. It's beautiful. It's a beautiful place.

Look like it. Yeah, it look great. That's my spot, man. They hold me down over there. So, we get there. We have a great time day one. Uh then we get to

family dinner time. Uh y'all just at the villa the whole time, chefs and all that the whole time.

Yeah. Well, some of us I was waiting for this. I'm at the villa the whole time.

These kids wanted to do stuff. Of course. Don't you know after the first day, after day one of a little

pool and just looking around and chitchatting? So, what we doing? So, where we going, man? Yo, where's

that? Yeah. Yeah. Wait, what? Oh, you kids don't know what vacation mean? No, they do.

No, they do. They do. You don't know what vacation mean? So, day one, everybody's together as a family. My My son Trey don't get in the

pool at all. He just on his phone looking for action. Now I'm introduced to the 24 year old

side of this trip. Oh yeah. 24. You never been nowhere. Brand new passport. You got the clips album

banging through the JBL speaker over there. Villa all the way over there. I check on the Tik Tok. He dancing. I

didn't even know he saw I saw a video he put on. He doing okay. I said, "Yo, you're thirsty as hell to

get some traction, nigga." Yo,

man. [ __ ] come swim with your family.

These hoes got to see this. He put an outfit on and started dancing.

All right. Hey, my [ __ ] You got it. Cool. Yeah, man. First day we get to dinner. Family

dinner. Shade's oldest, my man. Football, my football man. Now he has

Tourette's and I'm used to it. Oh, like for real?

Oh, yes. I thought I thought you was making a joke. I'm not making a joke. I sure.

You know them football players. Y but he has Tourette's. Okay. And he gets

like a tick attack when he's excited or nervous or you know something like that.

Again, I'm used to this, but because we in Turks, I guess he was really excited.

when I tell y'all and that's the thing he he grew since last time I seen him.

So he got a couple more inches on him. When I tell y'all that this [ __ ] cursed that whole de out the whole night like

right there. Yo, and your mother didn't want you. And black people are like what the go you.

Somebody going to have to restrain this little [ __ ] And it's going to take a couple of us. Yo, he's bugging. He

cursed that table out the entire dinner. Now she get up. She put ice down his

back. She trying to stop him. He's still going. Eddie, your mother's a [ __ ]

I know who the [ __ ] you think you are. I would have been dying last year.

So I learned. So that's another dynamic, right? Her kids is a little more like a

Friday night, Trey is up early with his club clothes

dropped the lemonade all over somebody like he [ __ ] he's not the greatest worker

yet. I'm looking at him. I'm thinking, yo, the tip is going to have to be a lot for

this type of turn. He throwing the glass breaking time. All right. So, he's working. I'm just

explaining y'all the dynamics. I promise. Another dynamic. Oh, Jesus. So, Saturday, I mean Friday now. Trey's

hitting that TikTok. Found the little shisha club. Ah, you go.

Let's go. Trey, found you. You found the shisha club. Yeah. The car service is $150 an hour and it's

about 40 minutes away. We, as it turns out, it's cool. My pop says My

to the fun side. And you don't want him to be alone. So, the car's got to stay there for the entirety of his.

He comes right back. He's out for two hours and that's fine. Friday

all the time. Amen. His central air stops working in this villa.

I got to be outside now. So now he's got no choice. Now they have no choice. They can't fix

it till tomorrow. They move him to villa 14 by himself.

Stop. So he's like, "Tonight I'm taking Naim. That's my man, Mr. Terres. Taking him.

boy, father this kid. That's your words. That's you. He said the girls wasn't into that. They

kept trying to make me do stuff. And I said, well, stuff like what, son?

He said they made me they asked me to put on some gray sweats and derk.

Oh. So now my girls start busting out laughing. What the [ __ ] What' you say? I thought that he said something

different, but she asked him again. Wait, you said derk?

I'm so glad I'm old. Yo, can you imagine this? Apparently, all the kids have heard that phrase before,

not me. My first time right now, right? We all derk. They want my young my oldest son to put gray sweats on and

However, trip takes a drastic turn. I want to say this is Saturday night.

Trey and them went out. But Saturday night, my baby has family friends staying with them in Houston. Okay. for

the summer and the family friend has children. Mhm. Uh and one of the children

unexpectedly passed away. Oh wow. Oh [ __ ] 14 years old. My god.

Cardiac arrest. So they think. Wow. Rest in peace. Rest in peace. But

rest in peace. I tell you that at 5:00 her oldest daughter came screaming out

of the villa to whereas the entire villa anybody that was in this you could hear

imagine that now that needed to be of course now y'all got to consider that's the trip now [ __ ]

cuz now you got to not tell your youngest you trying to protect them like it's a a lot happening Saturday night.

Wow Saturday night [ __ ] I'm so sorry man. So that was that was the trip. Yeah, I was super sorry too. I can't imagine.

I cannot imagine. Again, I want to just thank my higher power for getting my family there and back safe.

Death is one thing when you're looking at it on the news and when you seeing it on your phone, but when it get that

close to your doorstep. Yeah. At such a young age, that was a lot.

Wow. So, I'm watching her be in mommy mode. Actually, I God damn. God damn, bro.

I want to [ __ ] let me I got to shout out you moms out there. I

ain't going to hold you. You moms that do this 24/7 with these kids

that's just there to deal with it all from death to feeding them to boyfriends

relationships to doing their hair. Every time these girls get out the pool, you doing their hair. It's like this. This

was a trip where all focus was just on kids. Not not it's dads that do that.

Not trying to be funny, but everything you name I have to do. The same. It ain't just mom.

We looking at partners, but like this [ __ ] is still there's a lot of [ __ ] Yeah, but this is about the moms.

maintenance and raising a kid? God damn. How do you do it with these little

to get back to their rightful owners. Then me and the 10-year-old me and her

youngest is kind of we got a little power struggle going on too cuz I'm folding moms up.

go in the other room and you come back and it's a whole different [ __ ] But the massage was good. You should have kept the blindfold on. You

he he DJed or had the aux for the entire 48 hours I was there and was playing all

fire. It was the white fire though. Fire. it. I got 700 new songs in my uh

playlist. Dope. That's always dope. Yeah, it was cool. Uh nice nice cabin. We just kind of chilled, campfire,

drank, mushrooms, laughed our asses off till the sun came up for two straight days. It was good. Good times.

pictures together, and she's like, "This is the highlight of my night. Oh my god." And I'm just like, that made me feel good. That's amazing.

entered a building. I think it was 345 Park Avenue and uh open Blackstone building. Blackstone building. Apparently,

according to what I've heard most recently, he thought he was going to the NFL building, which is there, which is building. He got up on the

wrong floor. I should say he went to NFL office. He was in the right building, wrong floor. But he ended up opening fire. uh he

killed a New York City police officer, a Bangladeshi uh dude, family, the whole

thing, and injured other people uh before uh taking himself out by by gun. It was absolutely tragic. Ian and I were

in New York shooting the Mark and Ian show and we shot Mark show,

Tomato, and we were we were we were at the Patreon offices. I'll tell you about

that later. Is it Patreon? He took you to Patreon. uh they had some talks, you know, don't worry about it. Um and we had like a

5-hour break cuz Ian doesn't know how to schedule meetings. So I uh my my son was with me and he's a crazy person so I

couldn't take him to the meeting. Sure. Um and so my daughter actually came up from Philly and watched him in my office and and when when I went back to meet up

with them, she said, "Let's go to Park Avenue for lunch." There's like a little market right up there. Yeah. And we were going up there and we

literally would have been right where the active shooter was. And the only reason we weren't was cuz I was walking up Madison Avenue with my crazy ass son

and as I was trying to pull him out of a store, a bird [ __ ] on me. Good luck. Yeah,

that's what that it never feels like it. Whoever said I think some [ __ ] got got bird [ __ ] on so I just wanted to console him and that just became like a

old wild thing. A bird's blind because on vacation while

sitting down. Hell no they not. A bird if I'm sit sitting right here a bird rammed dead smack into the glass.

Maybe right here from where my head is and ended his whole existence. Brains everywhere.

Out here, remember? Yeah. Right here on the balcony. Yeah. They'll do that sometimes. They can see good. They can't see the

glass though. They don't see glass. They see colors. I tell you that. I thought I got shot. Anyway, sometimes. So anyway, so the bird shot

on my [ __ ] on my elbow and I'm I hate everything, Jeremy. So I like ran into a store or restaurant and was like, "Yo,

can you can I please use your bathroom?" And she was kind of like, "No." I was like, "What bird? Shit." I'm like, "Oh yeah, go ahead, use it." And after I did that, I was like, "It's 95°. I don't

feel like walking away 45th in park. Let me just see what the menu is." I looked at the menu. The menu was fine. So, we end up staying at 37th in Madison.

See, it was good luck and eating lunch there. That's my point. And had that bird not [ __ ] on me, we would have been right

there. And God knows what would what would have happened. So, it was like just a stroke of luck that we missed it. So, I feel today I'm feeling very very

fortunate to be alive. Not to say I would have got hit anyway, but you just never know. But, you know what I'm saying? I won't be nowhere near it,

right? And cuz it's terrifying. You know what I mean? And my heart goes out to everybody who was there and had to witness that. My heart goes out to that that police

officer that lost his life. Absolutely. That's it's it's awful. He he was literally trying to say, you know, when

you're trying to save people and whatever I think about police officers as a job, there's human beings. And when you're making your job to keep

people out of harm's way and you get killed, especially by someone, you know, something that was so senseless, it's heartbreaking. I just my heart goes

out to his family and his, you know, everybody. Yeah. No, it was horrible all around. All around. There's many conversations

to be had. Uh there's the mental health aspect of this. Uh they're saying that he left a note.

Mhm. Saying that, hey, the NFL and Roger Goodell and CTE are responsible for this

act. Yeah. He was 27. He was younger. 27. Yeah. Mhm. Drove from Vegas.

Yeah. Drove cross country Vegas to New York. Right. Had a Vegas permit for for his weapon.

had a bulletproof vest on and ultimately took himself out.

I always hate those stories too when when like when you taking people away from their families and then you take

yourself out. I said that last night. Yo, I I never like that. It feels cowardly to me. And I know it's a mental health issue. I shouldn't think

about it that way, but just the human part of me is like that's where you're conflicted. That's where that's where it gets tough. Yeah. It's like [ __ ] that guy.

Cuz you want to believe that. I mean, if you if if you believe in the mental health crisis,

I don't know how you hear the story and not acknowledge that that is a real

mental health problem. Yeah. To drive cross country and commit this type of act.

Yeah. Stewing on it for however many Yeah. days probably, right? Just straight. It's It says like 30 some

37 hours or something, right? You know, you didn't do that. And then to write a note. Yeah. and then to write a note. And then

there's this new thing, not new thing, let me not say that, but since Luigi, there seemed to be more cases

of people attempting to do some just horrific act in the name of justice.

Yes. In some sort, right? So, how do you deal with that? Uh

that's not just you want to let the mental health people know that there are people that are aware of this

whole CTE thing and are handling it the way it should be. Listen, Calvin Johnson, one of the greatest alltime,

retired early. Will Smith did the movie about it. There's some awareness on it, but

there's way too much money made in football for them to ever really give a [ __ ] about this.

Right. There's also in the movie in the Will Smith movie which was it concussion I think concussion

at the end they said like the way the movie ends it comes up the NFL agreed on

something and they would part of the part of the settlement was that they never have to officially acknowledge CTE

right something like they they able to keep their hands clean. Yep. Yeah. We we acknowledge it but officially we can still distance

ourselves from it. Too much money. think in a note they said he requested for his brain.

Yes. He said CTE study my brain please. I'm sorry. That was his quote. My only thing with that is I believe

him. I believe you. I believe that you believe that this is a mental health CTE

thing going out. I got it. Stop playing. Right. All right. Well, that was going to be my point is that while it's fair

and reasonable to criticize the NFL for how they handle it, because they've handled it horribly historically and don't treat players right in general,

guaranteed contracts and all that, there is also the side of the players that still want to play despite having

multiple concussions. I see it with Tua, you know what I mean? Like, and I can't blame him if you're going to in his case

be looking at a quarter of a billion dollars in in salary alone. But see, that's the thing I argue about with I

ish when we talk about the billionaire thing is like, well, yeah, there will be people in other countries that'll do bad jobs because they have no other choice,

right? A kid will do child labor because the NFL doesn't have the guaranteed contract. You're put in a situation

where you have to choose between making this money or or getting your brains f like they shouldn't be they shouldn't be

allowed to make that choice. You know what I mean? And the way to do that, not to infantilize them, but just to say, "Hey, let's give people

guaranteed contract. Let's give people healthcare. Let's give people things they need." It's a it's a [ __ ] up It's a [ __ ] up system. On on a different note, well

maybe a slightly brighter note, this weekend I did make it to Cleveland, uh which normally isn't fun, but I had a

no disrupt to Cleveland, I just normally am in and out, right? But I got to spend 24 hours there almost

and uh it was the 10th commemoration of the movement for Black Lives, okay, which sounds crazy to me that people

started running around saying Black Lives Matter 10 years ago. Like the time is moving. Yeah. Mike Brown was killed in 200 August 9th,

2014. So that's 11 years ago. Y'all remember? So, but it was good to be

somewhere with a bunch of organizers and activists where nobody died where we were there to commemorate the

work and to celebrate and and the movement for black lives isn't the B isn't the Black Lives Matter

organization. It's all the grassroots movements around the country that have been fighting. So, the ones local, the ones national, it

was hundreds of activists. It was like it was kind of like a family reunion seeing people who you usually only see on the protest line. And it was it was a

it was like a a fancy affair. People had their best clothes on performers. They were It was so dope. It was a good time.

I was supposed to go see uh the Cash Money um the 30th the day of the 30th

anniversary tour going on. They were in Cleveland that night, like a block from where I was. But I had such a good time at the um

with the activists and the organizers. We were just vibing. I didn't even walk over to the to the show. I I regret not

seeing the show, but it was such a good time and just let people know the movement is still alive and people are still fighting and it's just it's just a

lot of good [ __ ] happening in the world. It's not just bad news. People are really making changes out there. So, it was just good to see and it was good to

just be in Cleveland for a long time and just see I got to go out and see people and see the culture a little bit. Cleveland's dope. If you can have a good

time moving around out there. It's it's great, man. I still had a good time in Cleveland before. Still wish I could have seen the show,

right? Cuz I heard some people I bumped into Chris and Ne in the hall in the uh in the lobby and I I didn't realize they were performing there. I didn't realize

who else was open. Someone told me Jeezy was there, but then I heard he wasn't cuz that and that's what kind of made me stay where I was too. Like if Jezy ain't

don't have enough money not to be in jail. And that's a problem. Like agree bail should not be a financial

thing. I agree. So I agree with that. So I don't like revoking bail for those reasons. That said, Diddy uh has uh asked to be

released on a $50 million bond. That's his request. A $50 million that before.

Yeah, he did a few times. This this is say this is another one. Um and he's making some interesting

arguments though. And this is and one of which I agree with, one of which I don't. Okay. Okay. Um one of the argument is saying he's

saying this is I'm being treated unlike anybody else in history. They're talking about specifically him being convicted

under the man act. And what his lawyer said was, and I think again I think they're right on this on this point. Um

he says they said in the history of the statute, the man act has never been applied to facts similar to these to prosecute or incarcerate any other

person. They're saying that the motion that in the in their motion they said that for the last 75 years, the man act

which was passed in 1910 has been limited to cases of interstate travel for financial gain through the business of prostitution. In other words, they're

saying you're using this statute for me in a way that's never been used in history. Okay, that's a hell of a good argument whether

you agree with the Diddy [ __ ] or not in terms of his guilt or innocence. Like, that's a great argument. Um, I think Diddy is guilty. I thought

he's guilty to [ __ ] They found him not guilty for it. But I still don't want laws being used against people in unfair ways.

But the other piece is what I don't like. That's right. The lawyer, the judge said, "We can't

let you out because you have a history of violence, specifically the domestic violence." And the judge said that you have a history of violence. and and so

if we let you out, you may do harm to other people. Here's what Diddy's lawyer said. They they acknowledged that he had

been violent with Jane in June of 2024, uh but said that he had been quote

provoked by her quote by her quote through her own acts of violence.

So, they're basically saying that yeah, he beat Jane up, but it's because she

was she hit me first. She put her hands on him. Yeah. I don't think that's a good legal argument. I don't think it's a good I don't think that's gonna persuade any

judge and I think it re it sends a disgusting message particular when we see what we saw in the video. So I don't

get the logic of saying that. I I I think there's a better argument he could have made. Well, they kind of said that during the trial too,

right? During the trial, they were like, "Yes, he's a piece of [ __ ] We've seen him commit horrendous acts of violence.

We're going to tell you why." Right. Well, we're going to tell you what preceded that. That's like

that doesn't matter. And what a was like she came in with a knife. was that she pushed his head into a counter

once. And so when you see her and you see him and you say, "Okay, you pushed my head into a counter and you beat, kicked, and

dragged her down a match. Even if I accepted the logic of argument that that that some that some things were worthy

of a of a of a response, that ain't one of them, right? You know, so so, so I don't think that

he's going to get out. I don't think the argument is going to work. I think the argument is actually going to hurt him." Um, but I do hate

that again we're using we'reizing bail against people. I don't like that. Well, I don't think he's getting out just

because they denied it the first two times that that they ran it through the board. Yep. And now that uh the the trial is done

again, we got egg on the face. We may feel embarrassed. We spent a lot of money. They fired the lead prosecutor.

We only got him on Yeah. They fired Homeg Girl, which that said a lot. We only have him

on prostitution, which what are they going to give him? Five years. He's been in for close to one. He already enrolled

in all of the good behavior programs that are available to people in his position. Yeah. So it's like, okay, you're denying him

bail, but what we do know is he'll be home soon. Yeah. One way or the other. One way here. When he tried this on July 2nd, the

prosecutor who's now fired, as Flip said, said, "The only thing exceptional about this defendant are his wealth, his violence, and his brazeness. So the

state is making it very clear that we want we we want him to sit in jail, and we think he's an [ __ ] pampered

celebrity who doesn't think he should follow the rules." That's their argument. the judge trying to persuade us then. I don't see what's different

now. If I'm on a defense, instead of saying, "Hey, she hit me first." I'm saying,

"What is there for my client to be angry about?" Yeah. We won,

right? I'm very pleased with the testimony from every Jane Doe,

right? From everybody that took the stand. Justice was served. M I'm not going to do anything to now

jeopardize that after I just n that that would be my angle. Yeah.

to get a sentence overturned. You got to make a procedure. Like there's be issue like you know was there something procedural? Did he get an unfair trial?

Is there new evidence? And those politicians can't really work with that unless something is shady happening

behind the scenes. And I don't see Tori being powerful enough to make that part happen. But I do think he if you get the

right people behind you in the right moment, you could maybe overturn or or get clemency. And the difference is a

pardon is basically saying you're no longer cons considered guilty. Clemency is you're still found guilty or but we

can or we can make the sentence shorter. So So you're still found guilty, but now we can make it two years. We can make it

three years in which case it' be time served already. Got it. So that that's those are the different options. The challenge is this was this

was uh California. Yep. The governor is Gavin Newsome. Yep. Gavin Newsome is wants wants to be

president. The pathway to being a Democratic nominee for president is black women.
